- 0:02Here's your host, Alex Garrett and once again back at the Alex Garrett Podcast
- 0:09desk, I am joined by Ryan Pagano. Ryan, you've got an update
- 0:14on Rex Yerman and your hometown in Massa Peaka. Thanks for joining again.
- 0:19Well, thank you very much for allowing me the chance to cole and Alex
- 0:21really appreciate it. Tell us what's going on. Well, you know,
- 0:28very overcast Thursday here in Massapequa and Massa Peaka Park that's surrounding area. But
- 0:35we do have some more updates with the human case so his I guess you
- 0:41could say soon to be former wife Asa Ella up visited her soon to be
- 0:47ex husband in the Subcounty jail for the first time yesterday. Her diverse her
- 0:55divorce attorney confirmed that to the media yesterday and early this morning, and a
- 1:00lot of media attentions surrounding that. Now, not every day where you have
- 1:06choppers seeing the sky in massive Piegle Park, but yes, there were shoppers
- 1:12above the Hureman Hold early this morning and I have spoken to a couple people
- 1:19that I know living in the area. They have confirmed that it is a
- 1:23News twelve helicopter circling throughout the neighborhood. I presume trying to get shots of
- 1:29either the home or ASA potentially leaving her home to go through this Uffcounty jail
- 1:34once more to visit her ex husband. But definitely is very notable that this
- 1:41is taking place during the middle of the divorce hearings between Rex Huerman and as
- 1:48eler up Hewerman saying that he is not at all going to contest the divorce.
- 1:55So a lot of details still ongoing, but some more notable developments taking
- 2:00place in the past twenty four hours. Alex Well, thanks for being on
- 2:04the ground with us about this, because obviously it is one of those things
- 2:07that you know, you can't take your eye off of. Now Sefi County
- 2:10had a big wom w with Ed Romayne. Is that going to impact this
- 2:13case at all or even maybe have a result that everybody wants to see,
- 2:16which is him in jail for life. Yeah, I mean that's exactly what
- 2:21everybody wants. And not to mention he's got another allegend murder on his hands
- 2:27too now that has still yet to be confirmed if he was the one that
- 2:31actually committed more murders than we would have imagined back in July when this whole
- 2:38story broke and Rex was arrested at this house, and as speak with Park,
- 2:42we don't know that for certain, so you know, we have,
- 2:46you know, as much as I hate to say it, sometimes we have
- 2:50to presume that he is innocent to all of that murder until he is proving
- 2:53guilty. But either way, it is very damning considering what he already did.
- 3:00But you also kind of consider Alex the fact that this case took thirteen
- 3:07years to crack, and there was some alleged corruption in the Suffoc County government
- 3:13around that time. And it is important to note too Steve Bolone serving for
- 3:17twelve years in his position as the Suffolk County Executive. Now, whether or
- 3:24not he was directly involved in it, who really knows. At this point,
- 3:30we don't know his direct involvement with the case. But it is noteworthy
- 3:37that there have been a few executives with the Suffah County Police Department that have
- 3:42allegedly tampered with that case. And you know, that's one of the reasons
- 3:46why it took thirteen years to finally have an answer to this case, as
- 3:52opposed to it being solved much sooner. What are your thoughts real Fashona,
- 3:59I have you that Rodney Harrison had actually resigned from Suffolk County's Police Department as
- 4:04commissioner. What does that tell you? I mean, it's definitely a very
- 4:09interesting development for sure, and you know, definitely some interesting fallout potentially to
- 4:17come from this case. Definitely very interesting. So now I'm not a selfa
- 4:23county resident myself, but you know, I have a lot of family members
- 4:26that do live in the county, so they're of course directly affected by it.
- 4:30Not to mention, I go to Sulfa County to get them out as
- 4:32well, you know, whether it's for Burg related things or on my personal
- 4:41time. But either way, mass Peak being very close to the Stuff County
- 4:45border a lot of mass people to go there a good amount for their personal
- 4:49lives or for work. So it definitely is very noteworthy that their police commissioner
- 4:57is stepping down after this, and it's it's a pretty telling sign of how
- 5:03the war the department wants to move forward after this. I mean, it's
- 5:10just really tough to ignore all the damning evidence that the department has against them,
- 5:15and unfortunately for Ronnie Harrison, it's just merely collateral in anything but I'm
- 5:24definitely very interested to see how the department is going to proceed on and try
- 5:29to you'll, cover themselves as they deal with the fall continue to deal with
- 5:33the fallout of this Yereman case. Ryan. One last thing, this non
- 5:38contested divorce, is that human admitting guilt in some way or what are you
- 5:43thinking? I would definitely say so, yeah. I mean, I mean
- 5:48asl are up only announcing the divorce just a couple of days after Rex got
- 5:54arrested. And you know, normally, if you're trying to contest that sort
- 5:59of thing, you immediately say that you're contesting the divorce. But by him
- 6:08basically just allowing his ex wife to proceed on with these divorce proceedings, it
- 6:15definitely does show a little bit of guilt. And you know, Rex probably
- 6:19won't fit that, but you know, it's just very easy to see through
- 6:25if you've you know, studied this case and just studied the whole thirteen year
- 6:30timeline of these killings. I mean, it's so easy to put two and
- 6:35two together with this. But yeah, I take a genius to figure out
- 6:44you had that big luncheon that got the award. Tell us about that real
- 6:46fast, because we haven't had John since then. Yeah, you have a
- 6:53lot of folks over there at the Chelsea Pier. Yeah, let's just say
- 6:59it was a very fun rainy day. Considering that this was the same day
- 7:03where New York City got all the big flooding, most if not all the
- 7:10subway lines there were either delayed heavily ansled to some extent, it was a
- 7:17day of how you could say, you know, my a train took him
- 7:24ten minutes to go one stop. It was very nightmarish, but nonetheless wasn't
- 7:30really going to stop me. It wasn't going to stop anybody else there from
- 7:32obtaining a lot of hardware. So, you know, regardless of the weather
- 7:39conditions out there, you know, it still was a heck of a day
- 7:44to not only receive that award, but also being the company of so many
- 7:51big folks in the New York radio scene, you know, particularly John kats
- 7:56Matidiez, who gave the first speech at the awards, and also not too
- 8:01long after his interview with President Bill Clinton, which aired on the Cats Round
- 8:07Table forty or so many conversation with him, which was very eye opening for
- 8:13sure, caught a lot of attention there. He even previewed it in one
- 8:16of his speeches too, But WABC taking hold a lot of hardware, that's
- 8:24for sure. John speaking at the ceremony, said Rosenberg, among a couple
- 8:28others, and Frank Morano as well, a lot of their on air talent
- 8:33speaking on behalf of them. So, you know, props to them for
- 8:41cleaning up at those awards, and props to everybody else too for when in
- 8:46their respective awards. You know, something that I wouldn't take for granted to
- 8:50be in the company of all these big radio folks, and it definitely was
- 8:56an honor to speak in front of them, for sure. Well, Ryan,
- 8:58thanks update, and thanks for your life update as well on the Alex
- 9:01Scaret Podcast Network. Come back soon, oh definitely. Well, thank you,
- 9:07Alex. All right, that's been Ryan Pagano, one of my colleagues
- 9:09here at A nine seventy and a huge proponent, a you know, a
- 9:13huge participant at WRHU and on the ground with us with the hero In case
- 9:18through it all. Thanks again, Ryan, and we'll talk to you soon
- 9:20on the Alex Garrett Podcast Network. All right, Glad I was able to
- 9:24provide that little update for you. Thank you, Alex, Ryan, thank
- 9:28you so much. And before we end today's episode of the One Leg Up
- 9:31feature, I've got to say what I'm seeing on social media with the ripping
- 9:37down of posters of those missing is completely anti Semitic. Let me say that
- 9:43again. If you're ripping down posters of those kidnapped by Hamask that are of
- 9:48Jewish descent, that is an act of anti Semitism. I know I've voiced
- 9:54this displeasure with the pro Palestine movement because I think it's pro Palestinian people.
- 10:01I think it's anti Semitic. I think it's anti state of Israel. I
- 10:07think it's wanting to eradicate the Israeli people. To be very honest with you,
- 10:13when you march the streets of New York calling for a quote unquote free
- 10:18Palestine. I know that the Israelis have now agreed to four hour daily pauses,
- 10:26but what can Hamas do in those four hours and one? It's really
- 10:33sad that Israel has sort of come to a agreement on this because I don't
- 10:39believe Hamas is going to stop in that four hour period. I really don't.
- 10:46And it has to be said that those in New York City right now
- 10:48ripping down posters are adding to the anti semitism and should be fired. And
- 10:54I'm proud of those that are getting the poster rippers getting their camera faces on
- 11:01camera because they should be exposed for that kind of hatred. But we're not
- 11:07attacking anybody. Oh really, really, That's why I saw today when I
- 11:11looked on my Instagram, a woman confronted an anti Israel poster ripper, and
- 11:18the poster ripper assaulted a Jewish woman. In fact, four young men police
- 11:26are seeking right now for drawing swastikas and the word hamas. So when you
- 11:31say, hey, crimes on one side, please please report something like this
- 11:35where four young men are being sought out for drawing swaskas and the word hamas.
- 11:41Then a forty one year old woman verbally confronted two unknown freemales for ripping
- 11:46down posters of hostage held by hamas, all reported by the I Love the
- 11:50Upper Rest's West Side Instagram. The two females began to physically assault the victim
- 11:56forcibly ripping off her Star of David necklace that was around her neck. That's
- 12:01peaceful, that's loving, that's free Palestine. That's just anti Semitic. That's
- 12:07anti Jewish and here on the Alex Garrett Podcast, we will not tolerate poster
- 12:13rippers. We will not tolerate those being assaulted for speaking up on behalf of
- 12:20the Jewish people that are Jewish, even those that are not Jewish, but
- 12:28defending the Jewish people, we should support them as well when they confront anti
- 12:33Semites. So I'm done being nice about this. I'm done not trying to
- 12:39call everybody out. But when it's becoming more and more evident that the anti
- 12:45Semitism with these posters being ripped down doesn't stop, we must stop it by
- 12:52voicing our displeasure and by asking those who see the poster rippers video them,
- 13:01get them on tape, get their face on camera so they can be fired.
- 13:07We cannot tolerate this kind of anti Semitism. On the Alex Garrett Podcast Network
