- 0:38Speaker 1: a must. Have you ever felt like you have nothing
- 0:41Speaker 1: to be thankful for? Have you ever wondered why you
- 0:43Speaker 1: should thank God when life is hard and full of troubles?
- 0:47Speaker 1: Have you ever taken God's blessings for granted and forgotten
- 0:49Speaker 1: to give him praise. If you answered yes to any
- 0:52Speaker 1: of these questions, then this message is for you. I
- 0:55Speaker 1: want to share with you five reasons why gratitude is
- 0:58Speaker 1: a must for every Christian and how it can transform
- 1:01Speaker 1: your life and your relationship with God. Hashtag hashtag Reason
- 1:05Speaker 1: one Gratitude glorifies God. The first and most important reason
- 1:10Speaker 1: to be thankful is that gratitude glorifies God. When we
- 1:14Speaker 1: thank God for his gifts, we acknowledge that He is
- 1:17Speaker 1: the source of everything good in our lives. We honor
- 1:20Speaker 1: him as the creator, provider, and sustainer of all things.
- 1:24Speaker 1: We exalt him as the King of kings and the
- 1:26Speaker 1: Lord of lords. The Bible says, give thanks to the Lord,
- 1:31Speaker 1: for he is good. His love endures forever Psalm one, seven,
- 1:35Speaker 1: verse one n IV. God is good and his love
- 1:39Speaker 1: never fails. He deserves our thanks and praise, not only
- 1:42Speaker 1: for what he does, but for who he is. Gratitude
- 1:46Speaker 1: also glorifies God by testifying to his goodness and faithfulness
- 1:50Speaker 1: to others. When we share our testimonies of how God
- 1:53Speaker 1: has blessed us, we inspire others to trust Him and
- 1:56Speaker 1: seek him. We become his witnesses and ambassadors, breading his
- 2:00Speaker 1: glory and grace to the world. The Bible says, let
- 2:04Speaker 1: the redeemed of the Lord tell their story. Those he
- 2:07Speaker 1: redeemed from the hand of the foe Psalm one, seven,
- 2:10Speaker 1: verse two in IV. God has redeemed us from sin
- 2:13Speaker 1: and death, and He has given us eternal life and hope.
- 2:17Speaker 1: We have a story to tell, and it is a
- 2:19Speaker 1: story of gratitude. Hashtag hashtag Reason two Gratitude helps us
- 2:24Speaker 1: see God. The second reason to be thankful is that
- 2:27Speaker 1: gratitude helps us see God. Gratitude opens our spiritual eyes
- 2:31Speaker 1: to recognize God's presence and activity in our lives. It
- 2:35Speaker 1: helps us notice his handiwork and creation, his providence in
- 2:39Speaker 1: our circumstances, and his grace in our salvation. The Bible says,
- 2:44Speaker 1: every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down
- 2:47Speaker 1: from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not
- 2:50Speaker 1: change like shifting shadows James one, verse seventeen in IV.
- 2:55Speaker 1: God is the giver of every good and perfect gift,
- 2:58Speaker 1: and he does not change. He always faithful, always generous,
- 3:02Speaker 1: always loving. Gratitude helps us see God's gifts and also
- 3:06Speaker 1: his purposes. Sometimes we may not understand why God allows
- 3:10Speaker 1: certain things to happen in our lives, or why he
- 3:13Speaker 1: delays or denies our prayers, but gratitude helps us trust
- 3:17Speaker 1: that God knows what he is doing and that He
- 3:20Speaker 1: has a plan for our good and his glory. The
- 3:22Speaker 1: Bible says, and we know that in all things God
- 3:25Speaker 1: works for the good of those who love Him, who
- 3:28Speaker 1: have been called according to His purpose Romans eight, verse
- 3:31Speaker 1: twenty eight in IV. God works in all things, even
- 3:35Speaker 1: the hard and painful things, to accomplish his good and
- 3:38Speaker 1: perfect will. Gratitude helps us see God's hand in all
- 3:42Speaker 1: things and his heart behind all things. Hashtag hashtag reason
- 3:46Speaker 1: three Gratitude puts us in God's will. The third reason
- 3:50Speaker 1: to be thankful is that gratitude puts us in God's will.
- 3:54Speaker 1: Gratitude is not only a good practice, but also a
- 3:57Speaker 1: divine command. God wants us to be thankful not only
- 4:00Speaker 1: on the sunny days, but also on the stormy days.
- 4:03Speaker 1: He wants us to be thankful not only for the
- 4:06Speaker 1: big things, but also for the small things. He wants
- 4:09Speaker 1: us to be thankful not only for the pleasant things,
- 4:12Speaker 1: but also for the unpleasant things. The Bible says, give
- 4:16Speaker 1: thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for
- 4:20Speaker 1: you in Christ Jesus. First Thessalonians five, verse eighteen n IV.
- 4:25Speaker 1: Giving thanks in all circumstances is God's will for us
- 4:28Speaker 1: in Christ Jesus. This means that gratitude is not optional,
- 4:32Speaker 1: but obligatory. It is not a suggestion, but a requirement.
- 4:37Speaker 1: It is not a preference, but a priority. Why does
- 4:40Speaker 1: God want us to be thankful in all circumstances Because
- 4:43Speaker 1: He knows that gratitude is good for us. Gratitude aligns
- 4:47Speaker 1: our hearts and minds with God's perspective and purpose. Gratitude
- 4:51Speaker 1: strengthens our faith and hope in God's promises and power.
- 4:55Speaker 1: Gratitude fosters our joy and peace in God's presence and love.
- 5:00Speaker 1: Wah tag hashtag reason for gratitude brings peace. The fourth
- 5:04Speaker 1: reason to be thankful is that gratitude brings peace. Gratitude
- 5:08Speaker 1: is the antidote to anxiety, worry, and fear. Gratitude helps
- 5:13Speaker 1: us focus on what we have rather than what we lack.
- 5:16Speaker 1: Gratitude helps us appreciate what God has done rather than
- 5:20Speaker 1: what He has not done. Gratitude helps us trust what
- 5:23Speaker 1: God can do rather than what we cannot do. The
- 5:26Speaker 1: Bible says, do not be anxious about anything, but in
- 5:30Speaker 1: every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your
- 5:35Speaker 1: request to God. And the peace of God, which transcends
- 5:39Speaker 1: all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds. In
- 5:42Speaker 1: Christ Jesus Philippians four, verses six to seven NIV. When
- 5:47Speaker 1: we pray with thanksgiving, we release our worries and burdens
- 5:51Speaker 1: to God, and we receive his peace and comfort. His
- 5:54Speaker 1: peace transcends all understanding, meaning that it surpasses our human
- 5:58Speaker 1: logic and reason. His peace guards our hearts and minds,
- 6:03Speaker 1: meaning that it protects us from doubt and despair. Gratitude
- 6:06Speaker 1: also brings peace by promoting harmony and unity among people.
- 6:10Speaker 1: Gratitude helps us value and respect others, rather than judge
- 6:14Speaker 1: and criticize them. Gratitude helps us forgive and reconcile with
- 6:19Speaker 1: others rather than hold grudges and resentment. Gratitude helps us
- 6:23Speaker 1: serve and bless others, rather than compete and envy them.
- 6:27Speaker 1: The Bible says, let the peace of Christ rule in
- 6:29Speaker 1: your hearts, since as members of one body, you recalled
- 6:33Speaker 1: the peace and be thankful Colossians three, verse fifteen NIV.
- 6:38Speaker 1: As Christians, we are called to peace and we are
- 6:41Speaker 1: called to be thankful. Peace and gratitude go hand in hand,
- 6:45Speaker 1: and they reflect the character and spirit of Christ. Hashtag
- 6:49Speaker 1: hashtag reason five. Gratitude draws us to God, the fifth
- 6:53Speaker 1: and final reason to be thankful. Is that gratitude draws
- 6:56Speaker 1: us to God. Gratitude is the natural response of a
- 7:00Speaker 1: grateful heart to a gracious God. Gratitude expresses our love
- 7:04Speaker 1: and devotion to God, and it invites his love and
- 7:07Speaker 1: presence into our lives. Gratitude is the language of worship
- 7:11Speaker 1: and praise, and it honors and magnifies God. The Bible says,
- 7:16Speaker 1: enter his gates with thanksgiving, and his courts with praise,
- 7:20Speaker 1: Give thanks to him and praise his name Psalm one hundred,
- 7:23Speaker 1: verse four n IV. When we enter God's presence with
- 7:27Speaker 1: thanksgiving and praise, we acknowledge his greatness and majesty, and
- 7:31Speaker 1: we humble ourselves before him. We also experience his joy
- 7:35Speaker 1: and delight, and we enjoy his fellowship and intimacy. Gratitude
- 7:40Speaker 1: also draws us to God by reminding us of his
- 7:42Speaker 1: grace and mercy. Gratitude helps us realize how much we
- 7:46Speaker 1: need God and how much He has done for us.
- 7:50Speaker 2: Mark eleven, verse twenty four says, Therefore, I say to you,
- 7:54Speaker 2: whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you
- 7:57Speaker 2: receive them, and you will have them. Join me as
- 8:01Speaker 2: we go to the Lord in prayer. Open your heart
- 8:05Speaker 2: and believe so that the blessings of this prayer will
- 8:07Speaker 2: come to you. Say this prayer with faith. Dear Heavenly Father,
- 8:14Speaker 2: we humbly come before you today. You are the God
- 8:18Speaker 2: of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. You the Lord, You created
- 8:24Speaker 2: the earth and the heavens and all that is in them.
- 8:28Speaker 2: I give you all the praise and glory. Thank you
- 8:31Speaker 2: God for everything you have done in my life. I'm
- 8:35Speaker 2: grateful for the good things and even the tough times.
- 8:39Speaker 2: You've been with me through it all, and for that
- 8:42Speaker 2: I say thank you from the bottom of my heart.
- 8:46Speaker 2: God of mercy and compassion. Please look with pity on me.
- 8:51Speaker 2: I know I have sinned against you. I ask for
- 8:54Speaker 2: your forgiveness. Father, Lord, have mercy on my mistakes and failures,
- 9:01Speaker 2: every mistake I have done in word, action, and deeds. Father,
- 9:06Speaker 2: forgive me for your word clearly says in First John one,
- 9:11Speaker 2: verse nine. If we confess our sins, he is faithful
- 9:15Speaker 2: and justin will forgive us our sins and purify us
- 9:18Speaker 2: from all on righteousness. Thank you, Lord Jesus for forgiving me. Now,
- 9:24Speaker 2: in the name of Jesus, I declare the power of
- 9:27Speaker 2: God against any work of the enemy. Every secret agenda
- 9:31Speaker 2: of the devil and his cohorts have plotted against me,
- 9:34Speaker 2: be destroyed. In Jesus Mighty name. Father, your word said
- 9:40Speaker 2: Christ was manifested that the works of the enemy might
- 9:43Speaker 2: be destroyed. Every work of the enemy against my marriage,
- 9:47Speaker 2: my job, my business, my career, my family, and children,
- 9:53Speaker 2: be destroyed in Jesus Mighty name. In Jesus' name, I
- 9:58Speaker 2: declare fruitfulness in every my life. Let the power of
- 10:03Speaker 2: Christ touch my life, so I bear fruit. I am
- 10:06Speaker 2: fruitful in my life, in my ministry, in my marriage,
- 10:10Speaker 2: in my business, in my career, in my job, and
- 10:14Speaker 2: in my finances. For the Lord gives us power to
- 10:17Speaker 2: make wealth. Let prosperity be my portion. In Jesus name,
- 10:23Speaker 2: I will not lack, but have an abundance. Lord. I
- 10:27Speaker 2: want to serve you with all my heart. Anything that
- 10:31Speaker 2: hinders my service, Father, deliver me. God, Save me from myself.
- 10:38Speaker 2: Save me from people who will not lead me to you.
- 10:41Speaker 2: Save me from desires which are not godly, things which
- 10:44Speaker 2: are not in line with your word. Father, Help me
- 10:48Speaker 2: obey your word. Sometimes the spirit is willing, but the
- 10:53Speaker 2: flesh is weak. Lord, make me strong, make me ferven
- 10:58Speaker 2: in You, restore unto me Lord, the joy of my salvation. Father,
- 11:05Speaker 2: restore all the things I have lost, either by my
- 11:08Speaker 2: ignorance or carelessness. You said in your word that the
- 11:12Speaker 2: years the locust has eaten in our lives, you will
- 11:16Speaker 2: restore us. Thank you, Lord for restoring me my family,
- 11:22Speaker 2: my marriage, my career, and my ministry. Father, you sent
- 11:27Speaker 2: forth your word to heal our diseases and sicknesses. I
- 11:32Speaker 2: declare your healing from the crown of my head to
- 11:34Speaker 2: the saws of my feet. Father, heal my family, friends
- 11:39Speaker 2: and loved ones. Let your healing be their portion too.
- 11:45Speaker 2: I boldly declare that I am a child of God.
- 11:49Speaker 2: I walk in victory through faith. I am the head
- 11:53Speaker 2: and never the tale. I am what God says. I
- 11:56Speaker 2: am in Jesus's mighty name. I boldly Claisom twenty three.
- 12:02Speaker 2: The Lord is my shepherd. I shall not want he
- 12:06Speaker 2: mocketh me to lie down in green pastures. He letteth
- 12:10Speaker 2: me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul. He
- 12:15Speaker 2: letteth me in the paths of righteousness for his Name's sake. Yeah,
- 12:20Speaker 2: though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
- 12:23Speaker 2: I will fear no evil, for Thou art with me.
- 12:26Speaker 2: Thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest
- 12:30Speaker 2: a table before me in the presence of mine enemies.
- 12:33Speaker 2: Thou anointest my head with oil. My cup runneth over.
- 12:38Speaker 2: Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days
- 12:42Speaker 2: of my life, and I will dwell in the house
- 12:44Speaker 2: of the Lord forever. Thank you, my Father God, for
- 12:49Speaker 2: hearing my prayer and answering my prayer. Amen, As this

- 13:49Speaker 2: me you came to die on the cross of Calvary. Father,
