- 0:20Speaker 1: Hey, everyone, welcome to bless this nice in the drue
- 0:22Speaker 1: Grum podcast. I don't care who is do says do?
- 0:24Speaker 2: Hey, all right, we're back.
- 0:26Speaker 1: We were delayed starting this because somebody touched my computer
- 0:30Speaker 1: and they weren't supposed to.
- 0:31Speaker 2: Who is that?
- 0:32Speaker 1: And we got into a whole freaking no you Yeah,
- 0:36Speaker 1: I go open this. I'm like, okay, let's always just
- 0:38Speaker 1: open my latest garage band that has all the settings
- 0:41Speaker 1: and everything set up for recording the podcast. And I
- 0:44Speaker 1: go to open it and it's like the latest episode
- 0:47Speaker 1: they have on there for the of the like open
- 0:49Speaker 1: most recent was from twenty like eighteen or something, twenty nineteen,
- 0:55Speaker 1: twenty twenty, way back then. And I'm like, hey, did
- 0:58Speaker 1: you do something in my computer? Like all my garage
- 1:00Speaker 1: band stuff's missing? No?
- 1:01Speaker 2: I didn't.
- 1:03Speaker 1: I talked you d No, No, you didn't say that.
- 1:06Speaker 1: I said. I said, oh, you were messing with it
- 1:08Speaker 1: and he and I was like, all you did was
- 1:10Speaker 1: update the operating system, which he didn't because my computer
- 1:12Speaker 1: doesn't have enough room to do that. And he's like, yeah,
- 1:16Speaker 1: well no, he actually plugged in a hard drive, like
- 1:20Speaker 1: an actual like hard physical hard drive.
- 1:22Speaker 2: Called an external drive.
- 1:23Speaker 1: External drive okay, nerd they plug He plugged in an
- 1:28Speaker 1: external drive, and now all of a sudden he remembers
- 1:31Speaker 1: and cause I was like, what's this this thing that
- 1:33Speaker 1: says it needs to be ejected over here? I was like,
- 1:35Speaker 1: it looks like he plugs me. He doesn't even remember
- 1:38Speaker 1: freaking plugging it in, apparently dragging a bunch of files.
- 1:40Speaker 1: I was like, days ago and everything. Obviously their panic
- 1:44Speaker 1: and trying to go back in time machine. Well there's
- 1:45Speaker 1: no time machine because you you apparently you take everything
- 1:48Speaker 1: from a certain period of time. It pushed it all
- 1:51Speaker 1: in the external drive. Anyway, So we've been delayed starting this.
- 1:56Speaker 1: We should have started this three hours ago anyway. So
- 2:02Speaker 1: we're back. We went on our trip. We're not going
- 2:05Speaker 1: to talk about it right now though, because we don't
- 2:07Speaker 1: want to anger everybody that doesn't want to hear about it.
- 2:10Speaker 2: That's a long story.
- 2:11Speaker 1: It's a long story like YadA, YadA, YadA. Anyways, but
- 2:18Speaker 1: we had a good time. We had a good time.
- 2:20Speaker 1: That children did very well on the plane.
- 2:23Speaker 2: Better going than coming back.
- 2:25Speaker 1: Yeah, well they did okay coming back. The baby was
- 2:28Speaker 1: a little fussier coming back, so I had to do
- 2:30Speaker 1: a lot of standing. She just was like she just
- 2:33Speaker 1: not having it me sitting down and being comfortable.
- 2:36Speaker 2: Well, no, she doesn't like one to sit down now,
- 2:38Speaker 2: Well she.
- 2:39Speaker 1: Did okay on the way there. But also we got
- 2:40Speaker 1: kind of screwed American Airlines on the plane situation too.
- 2:45Speaker 1: But anyways, we won't go into it right now because
- 2:48Speaker 1: we don't want to anger everybody who doesn't like chit chat.
- 2:51Speaker 2: Like stew well, it's about an hour a chit chat.
- 2:55Speaker 2: If you're going to tell the whole story of the trip.
- 2:56Speaker 1: I'm not going to tell the whole story of the trip.
- 2:58Speaker 1: I'm not even going to talk about it anyway. So
- 3:00Speaker 1: we're gonna try it. We're trying to get these episodes out.
- 3:03Speaker 1: I just want to say, I'm just gonna say right now,
- 3:09Speaker 1: any so, if some of you follow me on my
- 3:11Speaker 1: like more personal page and stuff, and I do things
- 3:14Speaker 1: like I'm just living my everyday life, okay over there,
- 3:16Speaker 1: like cleaning, cooking, I've gotten into sour dough, none of
- 3:20Speaker 1: that is resulting us not recording the podcast. The podcast
- 3:27Speaker 1: that has nothing to do with that's just like my
- 3:28Speaker 1: day to day life. So it's not like I'm choosing
- 3:30Speaker 1: to do that stuff over the podcast and it's like,
- 3:33Speaker 1: why the fuck she making bread when she recording the
- 3:36Speaker 1: podcast or whatever. That's not what's happening. You want to
- 3:41Speaker 1: know why we don't record the podcast. I've had this
- 3:43Speaker 1: episode written for like two or three weeks now. It's
- 3:47Speaker 1: these three children. Okay, so unless somebody wants to come
- 3:50Speaker 1: over babiesit these children. Because what happens is we need
- 3:55Speaker 1: all three of them to sleep or be in quiet
- 3:57Speaker 1: time and be occupied for an extended period of time,
- 4:01Speaker 1: all at the same time. Well that's very difficult. So
- 4:04Speaker 1: like maybe the two go to bed on time, but
- 4:06Speaker 1: then the baby's like, fuck you guys, I'm staying up
- 4:08Speaker 1: till midnight party or the baby's like, yeah, I'm tired
- 4:12Speaker 1: from last night. So then the other two are just
- 4:14Speaker 1: in there like doing like you know, WWE style wrestling stuff,
- 4:20Speaker 1: and then every once in a while they all they
- 4:21Speaker 1: will all go to bed at the same time. But
- 4:24Speaker 1: at that point it's like, I'm not prepared. We didn't
- 4:26Speaker 1: plan to record the podcast, so like it's it wasn't
- 4:30Speaker 1: like something talked about and can't just be like, oh,
- 4:31Speaker 1: let's go record. So that's why there's delays right now.
- 4:34Speaker 1: It's very difficult for us to get time to record
- 4:39Speaker 1: is the problem. We don't have anybody to watch our children.
- 4:43Speaker 1: I'm not paying a babysitter and watch the children while
- 4:46Speaker 1: we sit in here and record either. So anyways, that's why.
- 4:52Speaker 2: So I just I was wondering, why.
- 4:57Speaker 1: Shut the fuck up?
- 5:02Speaker 2: I hate you.
- 5:07Speaker 1: Anyway. So nothing I'm doing over there, like me making,
- 5:11Speaker 1: you know, like cleaning and recording myself. It's not affecting
- 5:14Speaker 1: the podcast. I promise you, I truly truly promise you.
- 5:17Speaker 1: It's these damn.
- 5:18Speaker 2: Children, babies and trying to make babies.
- 5:23Speaker 1: Stewart, stop, what is wrong with you?
- 5:26Speaker 2: This is a this is a family show.
- 5:29Speaker 1: It's a family show. Okay, all right, So enough about that.
- 5:36Speaker 1: Speaking of since we're talking about it, Instagram, you can
- 5:39Speaker 1: go check out the podcast. I did do the the
- 5:41Speaker 1: tiktoks on the the podcast January Nineteenth's better. No, I
- 5:48Speaker 1: don't know, it's like, what's the point, you know, what
- 5:51Speaker 1: is the point? We have the Patreon. We appreciate everybody's
- 5:55Speaker 1: support over there, and yeah, I'd love to write more
- 5:58Speaker 1: stuff for the Patreon too, like do the second part
- 6:01Speaker 1: of the Scott Peterson thing, third part, but it's just
- 6:05Speaker 1: hard to record right now. I mean, I don't. I
- 6:07Speaker 1: don't know what else to tell you, guys, So all right,
- 6:12Speaker 1: anything else do no? Okay?
- 6:16Speaker 2: Rate review, subscribe, Good God starts a podcast.
- 6:22Speaker 1: All right, So this this week we are headed in
- 6:27Speaker 1: to Tennessee. Yes, all right, so are you ready?
- 6:33Speaker 2: I'm ready when you're ready, okay.
- 6:34Speaker 1: Emma Jane Walker was born March twentieth, two thousand, to
- 6:38Speaker 1: Mark and Jill Walker in Knoxville, Tennessee. She was one
- 6:42Speaker 1: of two children. She had a younger brother named Evan. Now,
- 6:45Speaker 1: Emma was very pretty. She's outgoing, funny, she's just like
- 6:50Speaker 1: she's the popular girls do. She had it all going
- 6:52Speaker 1: for She loved being on the cheer team at Central
- 6:55Speaker 1: High School. And she's just this quintessential all American girl.
- 6:59Speaker 1: She's even dating a football player named Riley Gull who
- 7:03Speaker 1: was a year or two ahead of her in school.
- 7:06Speaker 1: And he was also described as like athletic and very
- 7:09Speaker 1: smart and this good looking guy. You know, it's this
- 7:13Speaker 1: perfect couple. So Emma had a very stable home life
- 7:17Speaker 1: and seemed to have everything going for her. Now, while
- 7:19Speaker 1: Emma was popular and a cheerleader, she was not that
- 7:23Speaker 1: like stuck up kind stude.
- 7:25Speaker 2: You know, there's bitches in high school because they were
- 7:29Speaker 2: stuck up.
- 7:31Speaker 1: Yes, I remember, Stu and I have talked about this
- 7:36Speaker 1: if like you guys know, we have like a bit
- 7:38Speaker 1: of an age difference. But if we had been the
- 7:40Speaker 1: same age and had been in high school together, there's
- 7:42Speaker 1: no there's absolutely zero chance we would have ever even
- 7:50Speaker 1: probably interacted. Wow, Why are you saying wow? What do
- 7:57Speaker 1: you think? Why don't you think it might have been
- 7:59Speaker 1: the other way around? That you wouldn't have talked to me, may.
- 8:03Speaker 2: Talk to women.
- 8:04Speaker 1: Oh so I'm just just any basic bitch, just whatever.
- 8:10Speaker 2: You only get so many tugs on the line, got
- 8:13Speaker 2: to go with it.
- 8:13Speaker 1: No, I would have never interacted with children. I know
- 8:18Speaker 1: what it took you. It took you a couple, took
- 8:20Speaker 1: you a few years to catch up to my maturity.
- 8:23Speaker 1: St anyway, so she's not stuck up at all. She
- 8:26Speaker 1: they everybody felt like they could, you know, talk to her.
- 8:29Speaker 1: And she had friends like from all different kinds of
- 8:32Speaker 1: groups in school, not like the like me and I
- 8:35Speaker 1: would have been like.
- 8:36Speaker 2: The stoners, the nerds, the geeks.
- 8:38Speaker 1: That I don't think she was hanging out with the
- 8:39Speaker 1: stoners too. You don't think no can happen so she
- 8:45Speaker 1: was very down to earth and described as having a
- 8:47Speaker 1: kind soul. I was not described as having a kind.
- 8:53Speaker 2: You know what, if you never will be described as
- 8:55Speaker 2: having a kind I won't or lighting up a room.
- 8:58Speaker 1: When you came, unless it's like with the jeff Dytty
- 9:01Speaker 1: you pissed.
- 9:01Speaker 2: Me off gasoline in a match, I'll let that fucking
- 9:04Speaker 2: room up.
- 9:04Speaker 1: Now, this is true, That's how i'd light him, Okay.
- 9:12Speaker 1: So yeah, So it's a great, very pretty girl, very
- 9:14Speaker 1: popular and just all around just a nice person.
- 9:19Speaker 2: On November twenty first, twenty sixteen, Emma's mother, Jill, went
- 9:23Speaker 2: to wake Emma up, as she normally did. Emma's dad
- 9:26Speaker 2: had already gone to work, so it was just her,
- 9:29Speaker 2: Emma and Evan home at the time. Now, when Emma
- 9:33Speaker 2: did not immediately wake up.
- 9:38Speaker 1: I know this is not This is not funny, okay,
- 9:41Speaker 1: But what is happening behind the scenes is because this
- 9:45Speaker 1: is like our seventh take. Did you try to get
- 9:48Speaker 1: this one sentence?
- 9:51Speaker 2: So why are you telling everybody hell the sausage man?
- 9:54Speaker 1: Because it has to be four wall at this point.
- 9:57Speaker 1: By the time we mess up seven, you mess up
- 9:58Speaker 1: seven times.
- 9:59Speaker 2: No, this this is the person that wrote this and
- 10:02Speaker 2: the editor that didn't approfread this.
- 10:04Speaker 1: Okay, I did. I told him ahead of time before
- 10:07Speaker 1: what I printed this up. I said, I did not
- 10:10Speaker 1: spell checked. You did not, which is like a really
- 10:14Speaker 1: bad situation for us, because whenever I'm typing, I just
- 10:17Speaker 1: like letters anyways, go back to being serious, so so
- 10:24Speaker 1: we don't get bad reviews.
- 10:26Speaker 2: Reviews, so we don't get more batter go to hell.
- 10:30Speaker 2: Oh yeah, we get those two. So anyway, Jill called
- 10:36Speaker 2: for Emma. Emma did not immediately wake up like she
- 10:40Speaker 2: normally did.
- 10:42Speaker 1: She normally pops right because she's a teenager. She's a cheerleader,
- 10:45Speaker 1: she's got lots of energy, she read for the day,
- 10:47Speaker 1: her life is all everything's going for. I did not
- 10:50Speaker 1: like to wake up whenever I'm a teenager. Though.
- 10:52Speaker 2: It's like our children, they do not like to be
- 10:54Speaker 2: waken up.
- 10:54Speaker 1: They do not. So it's like, because my brother came
- 10:57Speaker 1: for Christmas, and he always jokes because he he he's
- 11:00Speaker 1: like a wake up person in the morning or whatever.
- 11:03Speaker 1: So when we were kids on Christmas morning, he would
- 11:05Speaker 1: get up at like six o'clock in the morning and
- 11:07Speaker 1: he's just waiting around for my mom's Like my mom
- 11:10Speaker 1: would tell him like, oh, you can't, uh, you can't
- 11:13Speaker 1: open presents and tell everybody's awake and everything.
- 11:15Speaker 2: Like that, and like, well what bitches the last one
- 11:17Speaker 2: that wakes up in the household me.
- 11:21Speaker 1: So anyways, so on Christmas morning, so I have another brother,
- 11:24Speaker 1: but he wasn't in the home for various reasons. So
- 11:27Speaker 1: it's usually I think it was just me and Brenda
- 11:29Speaker 1: there at the end or whatever. You know, it's all
- 11:30Speaker 1: a bar so uh. Anyway, so my mom tell him like,
- 11:34Speaker 1: you can't can't do anything until Kara gets up to it.
- 11:37Speaker 1: So he go in there and try to wake me up,
- 11:38Speaker 1: and I would not not get up. So he's just
- 11:42Speaker 1: having to sit around till like ten o'clock the morning
- 11:44Speaker 1: of Christmas morning waiting. It's no wonder they don't like
- 11:47Speaker 1: me anyways.
- 11:49Speaker 2: It's wondering if anybody married you.
- 11:51Speaker 1: Oh shut up, Stu. So anyway, so she but she
- 11:55Speaker 1: normally Emma normally pops out of bed. Emma's usually up
- 11:58Speaker 1: and ready to go when her mom.
- 11:59Speaker 2: Calls for her, and nobody in this house pops up.
- 12:01Speaker 2: And now we got to set snoozes and yeah, all
- 12:05Speaker 2: the things. So anyway, Jill goes up to wake Emma
- 12:08Speaker 2: and whenever she touches her, she felt cold. She felt
- 12:13Speaker 2: around some more and she could not find a pulse
- 12:15Speaker 2: on Emma. Jill then screamed and Emma's brother, Evan came
- 12:19Speaker 2: in to see what was going on. He couldn't find
- 12:22Speaker 2: a pulse either. It appeared that Emma was dead. They
- 12:25Speaker 2: called nine one one. Jill is screaming she's dead, and
- 12:29Speaker 2: you can hear Evan in the background screaming as well.
- 12:33Speaker 2: Jill Dows tells nine one one that she went to
- 12:35Speaker 2: wake her daughter up for school and that she is
- 12:37Speaker 2: not alive.
- 12:39Speaker 1: Now. Around seven am, detectives were called to the scene
- 12:42Speaker 1: of the Walker home. They initially thought they were dealing
- 12:45Speaker 1: with a teen suicide because this is normally what you
- 12:48Speaker 1: would think, and you know right away is sixteen year old,
- 12:53Speaker 1: can't wake them up or whatever. You're going to immediately
- 12:56Speaker 1: probably go to that thought first because it's condition or suicide. Yeah,
- 13:01Speaker 1: because it's not common for sixteen year olds to get
- 13:03Speaker 1: murdered in their bed. It's just not a thing. Whoiler,
- 13:07Speaker 1: despite what dateline tells you, it's not a thing. So
- 13:11Speaker 1: they're immediately coming to the scene just thinking suicide or
- 13:15Speaker 1: maybe she overdosed or something like that, or not even overdosed.
- 13:18Speaker 1: I mean, I don't know if it was fentanyl thing
- 13:20Speaker 1: back then, you know, like today, these kids are trying
- 13:23Speaker 1: stuff and it's laced with fentanyl. Next thing, you know,
- 13:26Speaker 1: they could have never done a drug in their life
- 13:27Speaker 1: and they get something bad in there.
- 13:30Speaker 2: Well, I didn't hear about benanall to the last few years,
- 13:33Speaker 2: So yeah, I don't know if I mean, if I
- 13:35Speaker 2: was around, it wasn't prevalent.
- 13:36Speaker 1: Yeah, it wasn't being shaped like spreeze or whatever they
- 13:39Speaker 1: do nowadays. So detectives they entered the home and secured
- 13:43Speaker 1: the perimeter, you know, just in case. Emma looked like
- 13:46Speaker 1: she was just sleeping. So it initially appeared that Emma
- 13:49Speaker 1: had vomited near her head. However, so this is what
- 13:53Speaker 1: her mom and then thought just by looking at her. However,
- 13:57Speaker 1: when the detectives arrived in upon her inspection, they determined
- 14:01Speaker 1: it was actually brain matter coming out of the side
- 14:04Speaker 1: of her head and it wasn't vomit. So they look
- 14:08Speaker 1: around and they find no weapon. So they were quickly
- 14:11Speaker 1: able to determine that this was not a suicide and
- 14:14Speaker 1: that foul play was involved. Now, this did not stop
- 14:18Speaker 1: the rumors, though, because words spread quickly through the town
- 14:22Speaker 1: that Emma had passed, and rumors began about her death,
- 14:25Speaker 1: from an overdose to a heart attack, to an aneurysm
- 14:27Speaker 1: to suicide like everything it had just this town that
- 14:31Speaker 1: just like wildfire stake, like.
- 14:34Speaker 2: Every town everywhere yous yep.
- 14:37Speaker 1: So her friends immediately dismissed the suicide theories. They knew
- 14:40Speaker 1: that Emma, they knew Emma, and they knew that she
- 14:42Speaker 1: would never do something like that. She never spoke about it,
- 14:45Speaker 1: She didn't have those type of like thoughts with them
- 14:49Speaker 1: or anything like that. So they were like, something, something
- 14:52Speaker 1: bad has happened to her.
- 14:54Speaker 2: Now. The police knew this was not a suicide, they
- 14:57Speaker 2: needed to determine who would do this to a sexteen
- 15:00Speaker 2: year old girl. Emma having enemies that would go to
- 15:03Speaker 2: these links to harm her didn't really seem likely, so
- 15:06Speaker 2: they ran some theories through. This included the parents' suspects,
- 15:12Speaker 2: because you know, as you can have abuse going on
- 15:15Speaker 2: in the house, it's not out of the realm of possibility,
- 15:17Speaker 2: and that she just didn't speak of it outside the home,
- 15:20Speaker 2: and that she was too scared to go to authorities,
- 15:23Speaker 2: and maybe she had threatened to go to authorities and
- 15:25Speaker 2: they had killed her. So that was one of their
- 15:27Speaker 2: theories they were going to work through.
- 15:28Speaker 1: I mean, unfortunately they have to go there, and you know,
- 15:31Speaker 1: with the they could be the best parents in the world,
- 15:33Speaker 1: but they have to ask those questions to just asking questions.
- 15:37Speaker 2: I'm just asking questions. What is that from Jesse the
- 15:41Speaker 2: body Ventura, US Navy Seal WWE wrestler or whatever it was.
- 15:46Speaker 2: Gov of Minnesota. The family did have guns and they
- 15:51Speaker 2: were in a safe and the whole family would have
- 15:54Speaker 2: had access to the guns, including Emma and her brother Evan.
- 15:58Speaker 2: They spoke with the parents about the events of that morning.
- 16:01Speaker 2: Emma's dad said that in the middle of the night,
- 16:03Speaker 2: at around three am, he heard what he thought was
- 16:06Speaker 2: a door slamming, and then that woke him from his sleep.
- 16:09Speaker 2: He got up to check on his children, but he
- 16:11Speaker 2: didn't see anything unusual, so he went back to bed.
- 16:14Speaker 2: I hate when I hear things in the middle of
- 16:16Speaker 2: the night and I gotta get up and walk around
- 16:17Speaker 2: the house. Yeah, you remember that time you woke up
- 16:20Speaker 2: and you said there was somebody outside, You're wake up,
- 16:27Speaker 2: wake up.
- 16:28Speaker 1: We don't know. There could have been Stuart.
- 16:30Speaker 2: Well, I know, I got up, I.
- 16:32Speaker 1: Know, and you went outside and you scared them off,
- 16:33Speaker 1: and that's why there was anybody there. We don't know
- 16:37Speaker 1: if there was someone there and on you can't tell.
- 16:38Speaker 1: You can't prove it one way or the other.
- 16:40Speaker 2: Well, no, I can't. There's some crazy person walking around
- 16:44Speaker 2: the house with a gun. You said there was somebody
- 16:45Speaker 2: outside our window.
- 16:47Speaker 1: I thought there was when.
- 16:50Speaker 2: Because you were back fast asleep when I came back
- 16:52Speaker 2: on the house.
- 16:54Speaker 1: Oh what I wonder.
- 16:54Speaker 2: I was probably drinking probably so anyway.
- 17:00Speaker 1: But it's funny because it's like you always just wait, well,
- 17:02Speaker 1: the husband, the dad got up and everything like that,
- 17:05Speaker 1: and the then the wife just stays in bed. That's
- 17:10Speaker 1: what we do.
- 17:11Speaker 2: Yeah, you had me walking all the way around the
- 17:12Speaker 2: house in the middle of the night and my drawers,
- 17:15Speaker 2: my pajamas barefoot.
- 17:18Speaker 1: Okay, I'm glad it was. It's something for you'd remember
- 17:21Speaker 1: and bitch about later.
- 17:23Speaker 2: Wow, I only got a couple of thanks. I'm glad.
- 17:26Speaker 2: I give you so many to bring up.
- 17:28Speaker 1: There's probably ten I can think of just today. Off,
- 17:33Speaker 1: start starting with this damn external drawer. Don't you tell
- 17:40Speaker 1: me if you're gonna say I got an external.
- 17:44Speaker 2: What are you gonna say, it's a floppy guess.
- 17:48Speaker 1: It's a micro some micro.
- 17:54Speaker 2: Like, come on, I'm gonna finish this podcast up. Okay.
- 17:58Speaker 2: Jill woke up as well. She asked him what was
- 18:01Speaker 2: going on, and he said that he had just heard
- 18:03Speaker 2: a noise, but everything was good. After speaking to the family,
- 18:06Speaker 2: police were now able to determine that no abuse was
- 18:09Speaker 2: occurring in the home and that then they needed to
- 18:12Speaker 2: start looking outside the home for the culprit.
- 18:15Speaker 1: Stu forgot to mention earlier, whenever he was doing his part,
- 18:19Speaker 1: that they determined that the manner of death what I
- 18:23Speaker 1: was going to say, the matter of death, the manner
- 18:25Speaker 1: of death was a gunshot wound to the head. That's
- 18:28Speaker 1: he missed that sentence.
- 18:29Speaker 2: Somewhere in there. No, No, it wasn't in there. It
- 18:31Speaker 2: wasn't written.
- 18:34Speaker 1: It was implied like our proposal, like your proposals, Stu.
- 18:38Speaker 1: When it Stull proposed to me and I'm sure we've
- 18:41Speaker 1: mentioned this before. He handed me a bag with a
- 18:47Speaker 1: ring in it and I opened it up and he said,
- 18:50Speaker 1: and I was like, okay, this is a proposal or
- 18:53Speaker 1: what asking me to? And I said, you didn't even
- 18:57Speaker 1: ask me to marry you, and he said it was implied, yeah,
- 19:04Speaker 1: and I want to. I went through with the marriage.
- 19:06Speaker 1: I know it's it's my own fault.
- 19:08Speaker 2: Yes, the ticket.
- 19:10Speaker 1: Anyways, I guess fine, then I forgot to I forgot
- 19:13Speaker 1: to go through. I guess I just jumped to them
- 19:17Speaker 1: investigating with the gun. But yes, the manner of death
- 19:20Speaker 1: was a gunshot wing to the head. Now, while reviewing
- 19:23Speaker 1: the crime scene, they were able to determine that the
- 19:25Speaker 1: shots did not get fired inside the home. There were
- 19:28Speaker 1: no signs of forced entry, and they found the bullet
- 19:31Speaker 1: hole from the shot that killed Emma in the wall,
- 19:34Speaker 1: and it was clear from how the wall parted that
- 19:37Speaker 1: that gun shot actually came from outside the house, which
- 19:40Speaker 1: is crazy, you know, like someone shot from outside the
- 19:44Speaker 1: house and hit her. So they go look outside and
- 19:48Speaker 1: they find where the bullet entered on the and then
- 19:51Speaker 1: on the ground they found a nine nine millimeter nine
- 19:54Speaker 1: milimeters spent bullet casing from a handgun. They then went
- 19:58Speaker 1: around and found another bullet hole in the wall in
- 20:01Speaker 1: another spent casing. Now, the bullets were like, so there's
- 20:06Speaker 1: her bed at a ninety degree angle, like at the corner,
- 20:10Speaker 1: so it's coming in from both sides to try to
- 20:12Speaker 1: hit her her head where she laced asleep. So these
- 20:16Speaker 1: were not just random. So they were like, was this
- 20:20Speaker 1: a dry by shoot? Like, was this a you know,
- 20:22Speaker 1: a flyaway bullet? What's the word a stray bullet? Was
- 20:28Speaker 1: this a stray bullet from a dry by which is
- 20:31Speaker 1: just the neighborhood that they lived in. This was not
- 20:33Speaker 1: like something that would occur, and so but they were
- 20:37Speaker 1: looking at these this angle of these bullets, and these
- 20:39Speaker 1: were very calculated placements of the gunshots that were in
- 20:45Speaker 1: the wall.
- 20:46Speaker 2: Media attention on the case quickly skyrocketed, and it spread
- 20:50Speaker 2: to national and international news. To have a beautiful sixteen
- 20:54Speaker 2: year old die in her bedroom from gunshots in a
- 20:57Speaker 2: quiet neighborhood was quite the event for this area. It
- 21:02Speaker 2: just didn't happen in this in this town. Police began
- 21:05Speaker 2: speaking to Emma's friends and they find out some strange
- 21:08Speaker 2: activity had occurred in the days leading up to the murder.
- 21:11Speaker 2: On November eighteenth, Emma was with a friend and she
- 21:14Speaker 2: received a text saying come outside alone or somebody you
- 21:18Speaker 2: love will get hurt. She went outside, but her friend
- 21:21Speaker 2: camwa her. They saw nothing. They went back inside.
- 21:25Speaker 1: They're crazy, Like, why would you go outside.
- 21:30Speaker 2: Like scream? What are you wearing? How's that popcorn?
- 21:33Speaker 1: I just don't understand. I would have never in a
- 21:35Speaker 1: million years gone outside, been like yeah, let's just let's
- 21:37Speaker 1: just go outside. Oh I'm going to come with you.
- 21:39Speaker 2: Oh yeah, maybe we can get hurt together.
- 21:41Speaker 1: Yes.
- 21:44Speaker 2: Jill then received a text saying what part of a
- 21:47Speaker 2: loan do you not understand? Jill? Emma, The friend asked
- 21:53Speaker 2: if they should call.
- 21:53Speaker 1: So obviously whoever it was was really actually sitting there
- 21:57Speaker 1: watching them, which is even scarier that they're actually that
- 22:01Speaker 1: close in that you're just like.
- 22:03Speaker 2: Man, yeah, wait till I tell you what happened next.
- 22:07Speaker 1: I kind of know what happened next.
- 22:09Speaker 2: The friend asked if they should call the police, but
- 22:12Speaker 2: Emma said no. They just went to bed, and they
- 22:15Speaker 2: closed the blinds and just went on with their night.
- 22:19Speaker 1: What to be a teenager that wasn't watching Dateline in
- 22:23Speaker 1: forty hours mystery when they were eight life.
- 22:28Speaker 2: This person knows that we came out together.
- 22:30Speaker 1: Yeah, it's watching us right now. It's outside of our home.
- 22:33Speaker 2: Let's go close the blinds.
- 22:35Speaker 1: They can't see us. No, it's fine.
- 22:37Speaker 2: Put the movie back on.
- 22:39Speaker 1: Put scream back on Jesus. Yeah, that was like crazy
- 22:43Speaker 1: to me that she If something like that happened to me,
- 22:45Speaker 1: I would have immediately called my mom and been like,
- 22:48Speaker 1: what do I do? There's someone watching me. Someone needs
- 22:50Speaker 1: to come help me right now and get me out
- 22:52Speaker 1: of this house.
- 22:52Speaker 2: Yes, I would not, I'd be like what the hell?
- 22:55Speaker 1: Yeah, I guess she was just young and didn't think
- 22:58Speaker 1: anything like not every he goes straight to I'm going
- 23:01Speaker 1: to be murdered, Like.
- 23:02Speaker 2: Well, I would go there. I mean I don't typically
- 23:04Speaker 2: go to I'm going to be murdered, but if somebody's
- 23:06Speaker 2: actually outside watching a man texting me, yeah, I'd probably
- 23:09Speaker 2: go to I'm probably gonna get murdered.
- 23:11Speaker 1: Well, she was a cheerleader, what do you expect.
- 23:17Speaker 2: The next morning, Emma head's home from her friend's house
- 23:21Speaker 2: when she sees a man all dressed in black with
- 23:24Speaker 2: a hoodie walking in her neighborhood. It seemed odd to her,
- 23:30Speaker 2: so she pulled into her driveway and she went inside.
- 23:33Speaker 2: She soon hears a banging on her door. Her parents
- 23:36Speaker 2: are at home, so she began texting her friends and
- 23:39Speaker 2: facetiming her boyfriend asking him to come over. This is
- 23:42Speaker 2: like right screen I.
- 23:44Speaker 1: Know, So she sends so she has like one of
- 23:47Speaker 1: these like group snapchats like text things with their friends
- 23:50Speaker 1: or whatever, and so she's like texting them like, hey,
- 23:52Speaker 1: this guy dressed in black and now there's like banging
- 23:54Speaker 1: on my door like I'm scared and everything.
- 23:58Speaker 2: Call nine one one yes. So the boyfriend, Riley, he
- 24:04Speaker 2: heads over to the house to help her out. He
- 24:07Speaker 2: didn't see the man that Emma described. With this new information,
- 24:11Speaker 2: please are wondering if Emma had a stalker, because someone
- 24:14Speaker 2: was clearly trying to scare her. They speak to people
- 24:17Speaker 2: in the neighborhood to see if anyone has seen the
- 24:19Speaker 2: man from that day. There is a lady in the
- 24:22Speaker 2: neighborhood who said she had strategically placed her camera angled
- 24:26Speaker 2: to the entrance of the neighborhood.
- 24:29Speaker 1: This lady, Okay, when this lady came on, like I knew,
- 24:32Speaker 1: I knew this lady immediately when she started talking, she
- 24:36Speaker 1: had like her little you know, Southern accent, and she's
- 24:40Speaker 1: she's like, yeah, this this was right after whenever the
- 24:42Speaker 1: rumor mill started, after she the Emma had, you know,
- 24:45Speaker 1: word got out that she had passed away. She's like, yeah,
- 24:49Speaker 1: are he's talking in the neighborhood about this and everything.
- 24:51Speaker 1: She's the neighborhood.
- 24:53Speaker 2: Taking out the blind.
- 24:54Speaker 1: Yes.
- 24:55Speaker 2: Yes, So after watching four two six hours of her recordings.
- 25:02Speaker 1: Yeah, this was the other thing that killed me. So
- 25:03Speaker 1: I'm watching her and she talking and she's like, yeah,
- 25:06Speaker 1: I was just sitting there and she's like, yeah, I
- 25:07Speaker 1: have these cameras that are angled, you know, so I
- 25:09Speaker 1: could see everybody comes in and out of the neighborhood.
- 25:12Speaker 1: And she's say like, yeah, I just I decided to
- 25:13Speaker 1: play detective. And she just casually says, and I watched
- 25:16Speaker 1: four to six hours. I thought she was gonna be
- 25:20Speaker 1: like I watched, No, fifteen minutes and there there the
- 25:23Speaker 1: person was I never She's like, just she just said
- 25:26Speaker 1: there watching four to six hours. You know, it was
- 25:28Speaker 1: six hours in she said four to six hours. She
- 25:31Speaker 1: just put the four on there to make it sound
- 25:32Speaker 1: a little better, but it was definitely six hours. Lord,
- 25:36Speaker 1: I mean, we need people like her, though. I hope
- 25:38Speaker 1: to be her one day. You have the time.
- 25:40Speaker 2: No, you won't look outside the window and see what's
- 25:43Speaker 2: going on.
- 25:43Speaker 1: No, but if I had cameras, I'd definitely watch.
- 25:47Speaker 2: I've watched my cameras before. Yeah, trying to see what happened.
- 25:52Speaker 1: We have we've played the cameras back before, looking at
- 25:56Speaker 1: stuff to.
- 25:56Speaker 2: See what's going on, looking for cats.
- 25:59Speaker 1: Remember those neighbors and Karen Crow that thought we were
- 26:02Speaker 1: trying to watch in their backyard.
- 26:05Speaker 2: Well the wife did.
- 26:07Speaker 1: She also got drunk and so called me a bitch.
- 26:10Speaker 2: Carry bitch, You a bitch? Carry?
- 26:15Speaker 1: Did she go with Carrie?
- 26:19Speaker 2: Well, she didn't know you were a bitch.
- 26:21Speaker 1: That's a story, friend. I tried not to interact with people,
- 26:25Speaker 1: and somehow this shit still happens to me. Anyways, that's all.
- 26:29Speaker 1: That's a you know, that's a whole like that whole
- 26:33Speaker 1: situation next door is a story for It's a long story.
- 26:37Speaker 2: That's a podcast. Yes, so she watched four to six
- 26:42Speaker 2: hours over her recording saw the man dressed in black
- 26:45Speaker 2: walking through the neighborhood. She contacted police and they viewed
- 26:49Speaker 2: with the recording and it was the same person that
- 26:52Speaker 2: Emma's friends had described. Well, Emma described to her a friend, Yeah.
- 26:58Speaker 1: And I love how the lady didn't just turn the
- 27:00Speaker 1: footage over to the police. She's like, I'm gonna find
- 27:02Speaker 1: this myself and then give it to him, because normally
- 27:06Speaker 1: you just be like, I have footage here, and they'd watch,
- 27:08Speaker 1: they'd have somebody, you know, watch all the footage. She's like, no,
- 27:11Speaker 1: I'm doing this myself because I want to be able
- 27:13Speaker 1: to talk about it to start the neighbors. Yeah, be
- 27:18Speaker 1: on dateline.
- 27:19Speaker 2: That is your dream, that is my dream.
- 27:23Speaker 1: Sorry, what are you people in this neighborhood is going
- 27:25Speaker 1: to have to die?
- 27:26Speaker 2: You think they know about that crime that you you
- 27:28Speaker 2: solved for them? Which crime in Texas?
- 27:32Speaker 1: What crime in Texas?
- 27:33Speaker 2: Don't know? Something about a license plate?
- 27:35Speaker 1: And some people, Oh yeah, yeah, you know what's a crime.
- 27:38Speaker 2: Oh there was nobody dead in that one.
- 27:40Speaker 1: So no, nobody died that I know of. No, it
- 27:44Speaker 1: wasn't it wasn't dateline material anyways. All right, So please
- 27:49Speaker 1: bring in Riley the boyfriend, since he was the one
- 27:52Speaker 1: who showed up when Emma said the man was trying
- 27:54Speaker 1: to get in the house. Now, when he came in
- 27:56Speaker 1: for the interview, he said he was because he never
- 27:59Speaker 1: saw the guy. They're like, she the guy was already
- 28:01Speaker 1: gone by the time he got there. And whenever Emma's
- 28:05Speaker 1: mom got home, Riley and Emma were in the driveway
- 28:09Speaker 1: and she was like upset about the you know, the
- 28:11Speaker 1: guy banging on the door. So anyway, so he's like,
- 28:14Speaker 1: real strange. He goes into this interview room and he says,
- 28:18Speaker 1: the girl texted me saying he was trying to get in,
- 28:22Speaker 1: and the detectives like said, what girl, Like, he said,
- 28:26Speaker 1: so this is his girlfriend? The girl texted me. He's like,
- 28:30Speaker 1: what girl? And he said the girl that passed away,
- 28:35Speaker 1: And he says, so then they said they asked what
- 28:38Speaker 1: her name was, and he said Emma. They're like, so,
- 28:40Speaker 1: who's what's the name of the girl that passed away? Emma.
- 28:43Speaker 1: So this is just super strange that he just wouldn't
- 28:45Speaker 1: say Emma texted me saying that there was a guy
- 28:48Speaker 1: trying to get in. Very strange. So he recounts today
- 28:51Speaker 1: and how he came over to the house. He was
- 28:53Speaker 1: surprised to hear from her because she had recently broken
- 28:56Speaker 1: up with him, and despite him trying to get back
- 28:59Speaker 1: together with her, she insisted it was over. So this
- 29:02Speaker 1: was all so he was ready to get over there
- 29:04Speaker 1: because he's like, oh, she's talking to me again.
- 29:06Speaker 2: She needs some help.
- 29:07Speaker 1: Yeah, So this was interesting to police because now we
- 29:10Speaker 1: have an ex boyfriend who was upset about the breakup.
- 29:13Speaker 1: Trying to get back with her, and then this strange
- 29:15Speaker 1: interview not saying her name, which is weird. Now, Riley
- 29:18Speaker 1: did not have a criminal history. Remember he's the football player, smart,
- 29:24Speaker 1: going to college, everything like that. Riley's parents were, however,
- 29:30Speaker 1: were not cooperative at all, especially the mom, and they
- 29:34Speaker 1: did have quite the ced past.
- 29:37Speaker 2: Dude, did they yes? Do tell?
- 29:39Speaker 1: Well, there's not much to tell because I don't know
- 29:41Speaker 1: what their criminal history is, but they do have one.
- 29:43Speaker 1: So the family's a bit sketchy. But the Riley kids
- 29:46Speaker 1: never been in trouble, so she said, so they are.
- 29:50Speaker 1: So they start looking into the family and everything, and
- 29:55Speaker 1: they find the mom's like Facebook probably profile and the
- 30:00Speaker 1: mom posted if you mess with my son, I will
- 30:03Speaker 1: come after you.
- 30:04Speaker 2: Dumb dumb, dumb dumb. Please keep looking into the gall
- 30:08Speaker 2: family when they receive a tip that the grandfather had
- 30:11Speaker 2: a nine millimeter gun stolen just before the murder. The
- 30:16Speaker 2: home where the gun was stolen from was the place
- 30:20Speaker 2: that Riley's mom lived as well. Was this coincidence or
- 30:25Speaker 2: did the mom have something to do with the murder?
- 30:27Speaker 1: Was hard work for you? Yes, SU's a little Steus's
- 30:33Speaker 1: little shaken up. He was just a victim of a crime.
- 30:36Speaker 2: Yes, I was a victim of a crime.
- 30:38Speaker 1: It's a victim of a crime. Someone just tried to
- 30:41Speaker 1: steal his credit card information. Well they did well, they
- 30:45Speaker 1: successfully stolen, but they did a little test run for fraud.
- 30:50Speaker 2: We it was caught, Yes, had to deactivate my card.
- 30:53Speaker 1: What's funny though, that's they that's such a small charge
- 30:57Speaker 1: on a website, and so that's funny that that's a
- 31:00Speaker 1: common place for that. It's such a common place for
- 31:04Speaker 1: people to try to commit fraud and do like a
- 31:07Speaker 1: test run that the credit card companies know it.
- 31:09Speaker 2: Yeah, what the hell is CSS motion anyway?
- 31:10Speaker 1: Did Yeah? I looked it's some sort of software thing
- 31:13Speaker 1: or something like that. Well, I didn't know the fuck.
- 31:16Speaker 1: It had the word motion. I was gonna judge you
- 31:22Speaker 1: which you were up?
- 31:24Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, it's fraud.
- 31:28Speaker 1: So I looked up CSS motion, so I'm like, what
- 31:30Speaker 1: is that? And then I looked up of course CSS
- 31:33Speaker 1: motion and then uh charge and then read it. Because
- 31:37Speaker 1: you just throw the word redd in there, you'll get
- 31:39Speaker 1: all sorts agnsers and apparently it's a common thing that
- 31:42Speaker 1: they charged like sixty five His was sixty six cents,
- 31:45Speaker 1: sixty five cents and It's kind of like a test
- 31:48Speaker 1: run to see if they can get away with it,
- 31:49Speaker 1: and then they'll go and hit your card with something
- 31:51Speaker 1: big if you don't catch it, if you just let
- 31:54Speaker 1: the charge go through. But the credit card company knew
- 31:59Speaker 1: that was a weird charge.
- 32:00Speaker 2: My bank sent me a text, Yes, I deactivated the car. Okay,
- 32:06Speaker 2: I'm telling the people that you're telling the story to.
- 32:08Speaker 2: I'm not telling you. You were here, you know what
- 32:10Speaker 2: I did. Why would I be retelling you this.
- 32:14Speaker 1: You're just like telling me like it's I just think
- 32:16Speaker 1: it's crazy that Why would the scammers keep using the
- 32:19Speaker 1: same website if if the credit card companies know Anyways,
- 32:24Speaker 1: that's why stud can't read the word coincidence. He's shaken
- 32:27Speaker 1: up from.
- 32:27Speaker 2: His There was a coincidence that my card was spelling yeah. Anyway.
- 32:33Speaker 2: Police obtained a search warrant and they were able to
- 32:36Speaker 2: find some spent shell casings from the gun at the residence.
- 32:41Speaker 1: They apparently they were like the test I guess when
- 32:43Speaker 1: you get a gun, it was like the test shell
- 32:47Speaker 1: test bullets.
- 32:48Speaker 2: You get a shell casing with every new gun you purchased.
- 32:50Speaker 1: Okay, so he still had them in like the little
- 32:52Speaker 1: baggy inside the case. So that's how they were able
- 32:55Speaker 1: to get there.
- 32:55Speaker 2: Well, you only get one, but if you're going to
- 32:57Speaker 2: reload your own brast then you would keep your shell casings.
- 33:01Speaker 1: Well, I'm just saying he had it in a baggie
- 33:03Speaker 1: in the case. Still he'd never taken it out. That's
- 33:05Speaker 1: why they were able to get it.
- 33:07Speaker 2: Well, it said there's multiple cases according to what you wrote.
- 33:11Speaker 1: Okay, when did I say they obtained search were able
- 33:14Speaker 1: to find some spent shell casings from the gun at
- 33:17Speaker 1: the residence. There was two. Some one is one, some
- 33:22Speaker 1: is two.
- 33:24Speaker 2: Just stop. They tested the shell cases and found that
- 33:27Speaker 2: they were a match for the shellcasing at the crime scene.
- 33:31Speaker 2: This was the murder weapon.
- 33:33Speaker 1: Now police receive a huge break in the case when
- 33:36Speaker 1: two of Riley's friends come forward telling police that Riley
- 33:39Speaker 1: asked them to help get rid of a gun and
- 33:42Speaker 1: that he had stolen from his grandfathers.
- 33:45Speaker 2: Riley is an idiot, Yes he is.
- 33:47Speaker 1: They did not tell Riley they were going to turn
- 33:49Speaker 1: him in, so they told the police that they were
- 33:51Speaker 1: willing to help with the investigation, like in any way
- 33:54Speaker 1: that they could. So they actually these two teenage boys
- 33:58Speaker 1: agreed this is crazy. Agreed to get miked and miked
- 34:03Speaker 1: up and put cameras on them to catch Riley talking
- 34:05Speaker 1: about the gun and like to actually they needed them
- 34:09Speaker 1: to like lay eyes on this gun. So they go
- 34:12Speaker 1: hang out with Riley and he tells them that he
- 34:14Speaker 1: did not hurt Emma, and you know, they say they
- 34:17Speaker 1: believe him. He tells them that he just needs help
- 34:20Speaker 1: getting rid of this gun.
- 34:22Speaker 2: Now.
- 34:22Speaker 1: Riley tells them he wants to throw it in the
- 34:24Speaker 1: water at Bluff's which is part of the Tennessee River.
- 34:27Speaker 1: I guess it's like a commonplace that they would go
- 34:29Speaker 1: hang out. So Riley he goes in retrieves a pillowcase,
- 34:35Speaker 1: but the two boys still hadn't actually physically seen the
- 34:38Speaker 1: gun because it's still in this pillowcase with some other things.
- 34:41Speaker 1: So the guys just keep saying like, well, if you
- 34:45Speaker 1: have the gun and you didn't do it, why wouldn't
- 34:46Speaker 1: you just turn the gun in and everything like that,
- 34:50Speaker 1: and since you didn't hurt her, and he's just like,
- 34:53Speaker 1: I just need to get rid of this gun. So
- 34:56Speaker 1: they load up in the car with the pillowcase with
- 34:59Speaker 1: the gun that they believe is in the bag, and
- 35:02Speaker 1: then they stop for some fast food and kind of
- 35:04Speaker 1: just hung out in the car, so like this whole
- 35:05Speaker 1: thing's on camera, like listening to it, just hanging out
- 35:09Speaker 1: and they continue on to the bluffs. So Riley finally
- 35:13Speaker 1: pulls out the gun and the boys finally they see it.
- 35:17Speaker 1: They're like, okay, this is it, and they're not supposed
- 35:20Speaker 1: to let the police know until they actually see it.
- 35:21Speaker 1: So they have a code word that they've agreed upon,
- 35:24Speaker 1: so they say that code word. In a few minutes
- 35:26Speaker 1: go by and the police arrive and ask everyone to
- 35:28Speaker 1: step out of the vehicle. Now they were able to
- 35:31Speaker 1: get Riley out of the car without incident. He just
- 35:33Speaker 1: gets up, you know.
- 35:35Speaker 2: He's like, in imagine it'd be a little tense with
- 35:38Speaker 2: the police knowing there's a gun in the car. Yes, yeah,
- 35:40Speaker 2: no if it's loaded or not.
- 35:42Speaker 1: Plus those two two boys were in the car that
- 35:45Speaker 1: are trying to help the police out, so they're pretty
- 35:47Speaker 1: stressed up. So like, hope he doesn't like turn the gun,
- 35:50Speaker 1: like say, oh my god, you guys did this and everything,
- 35:52Speaker 1: but he's going yeah, So but everybody gets out, Riley
- 35:56Speaker 1: gets out, nothing happens. They inspected the car and found
- 36:00Speaker 1: the gun, which matched the one stolen from his grandfather. Now.
- 36:03Speaker 1: In the pillowcase, they also found a black hoodie, black pants,
- 36:07Speaker 1: and a black baseball cap, which was the outfit that
- 36:10Speaker 1: was used to scare Emma that day. Walking in the neighborhood,
- 36:13Speaker 1: Riley was arrested and placed on house arrest.
- 36:17Speaker 2: House arrest really, yes, I don't know.
- 36:21Speaker 1: I think he was like eighteen or something.
- 36:24Speaker 2: Here's your ankle monitor. We're gonna arrest you for murder.
- 36:28Speaker 2: They don't do anything crazy and run away.
- 36:30Speaker 1: I don't know why he was placed on house dress Stewart,
- 36:32Speaker 1: I didn't. You can research that for next week, okay. Anyways.
- 36:37Speaker 2: On April thirtieth, twenty eighteen, Riley Goll's trial began. The
- 36:42Speaker 2: defense argued that while Riley did shoot the gun, he
- 36:46Speaker 2: did not mean to harm Emma. It was meant to
- 36:48Speaker 2: scare her.
- 36:50Speaker 1: Yes, that's what they couldn't They had too much evidence, Like,
- 36:53Speaker 1: obviously he shot the gun, but they're going to try
- 36:56Speaker 1: to argue that he just wanted to frighten her or whatever.
- 37:01Speaker 2: The prosecution argued that the shots were calculated and meant
- 37:04Speaker 2: to kill Emma. On May eighth, twenty eighteen, Riley was
- 37:07Speaker 2: found guilty up first degree murder. Stalking, reckless, endangerment, theft,
- 37:12Speaker 2: and tampering with evidence, and he was sentenced to fifty
- 37:16Speaker 2: one years in prison.
- 37:17Speaker 1: Yeah, so he's not getting out.
- 37:19Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean the reckless and danger I mean.
- 37:21Speaker 1: He woke it out. I mean, he'll only be like
- 37:24Speaker 1: sixty sixty, probably sixty, Stuart, Why does it have to
- 37:29Speaker 1: be He'll be seventy anyways, But so, yeah, I mean
- 37:37Speaker 1: I can't believe he was able to It's crazy how
- 37:40Speaker 1: he was able to shoot twice and actually kill her.
- 37:44Speaker 1: That's crazy. And from the outside of the house he
- 37:48Speaker 1: was able to do that. You know, that's crazy, Stuart.
- 37:53Speaker 1: I'm talking to you.
- 37:54Speaker 2: Yes, I know.
- 37:56Speaker 1: You can't just shake your head. They don't get can't
- 37:58Speaker 1: hear a shake. Okay. Anyways, all right, well that's our
- 38:02Speaker 1: episode for this week. Stu. Do you have a y'all
- 38:06Speaker 1: need you? Oh?
- 38:06Speaker 2: Of course I do.
- 38:07Speaker 1: Okay, you need a hurry because I'm fading fast. I know,
- 38:10Speaker 1: I'm really tired, okay, and I got to get up
- 38:13Speaker 1: in the morning for what life I have to work tomorrow? Steing.
- 38:18Speaker 1: Oh yeah, people, I'm staying up late. Well I would
- 38:21Speaker 1: I wanted to go. I had a fifteen No, it's
- 38:24Speaker 1: eleven PM, and I had the opportunity to go to
- 38:27Speaker 1: bed at like eight forty five because the baby went
- 38:29Speaker 1: to sleep. You were in there with the two crazies
- 38:32Speaker 1: getting them to go to sleep, and uh, yeah, that's
- 38:36Speaker 1: their new thing right now too. Is they used to
- 38:38Speaker 1: go in there and just lay down, and you know,
- 38:39Speaker 1: sometimes they'd get like rowdy or whatever, but they go
- 38:42Speaker 1: to sleep. Now the new thing is is STU has
- 38:44Speaker 1: to go like sit in the room with them so
- 38:48Speaker 1: they'll stay in their bed and not act.
- 38:50Speaker 2: A full yes, because wwe and there every night.
- 38:53Speaker 1: Yeah, but we can't separate them because then they.
- 38:55Speaker 2: Get times and someone starts crying.
- 38:58Speaker 1: But we can't separate themough because then they get upset
- 39:01Speaker 1: if they're not together anyways. But okay, Stu, where's your
- 39:04Speaker 1: ye only Jesus.
- 39:07Speaker 2: A naked man gives cops a crazy excuse for breaking
- 39:10Speaker 2: into a home Florida or not Florida, Florida. Okay, coming
- 39:16Speaker 2: to us from one O one wrif. I don't even
- 39:19Speaker 2: know where that is. I think it's in Detroit, Michigan.
- 39:23Speaker 2: From the author's James Dave and Chuck the Freak. I
- 39:26Speaker 2: don't know what this is.
- 39:28Speaker 1: Chuck the freak.
- 39:29Speaker 2: I don't know, I'm just reading the headline August eighteenth,
- 39:31Speaker 2: twenty twenty three.
- 39:32Speaker 1: Sounds like some stuff from CSS motions.
- 39:35Speaker 2: Sounds sounds like some god knows what. We talk a
- 39:38Speaker 2: lot about criminals committing crime is being committed in the
- 39:42Speaker 2: nude on the show. I guess it is a morning
- 39:44Speaker 2: talk show or something. It's the Wackie Zoo crew.
- 39:48Speaker 1: I hate, I hate. I would rather, like, I don't
- 39:53Speaker 1: even know. I'd rather listen to kids screaming in the
- 39:55Speaker 1: back seat than listen to a morning a radio like
- 40:00Speaker 1: in the Wow Like No, like the DJ's in the
- 40:03Speaker 1: morning Timeline. Not the ones that do like the longer
- 40:06Speaker 1: shows or whatever, but the yeah, the morning radio people.
- 40:10Speaker 2: Like that, like Waldon Johnson.
- 40:12Speaker 1: No, like the in between them, the in between like
- 40:17Speaker 1: playing music, local radio host, Oh my god, the wacky zucher, Yeah, alcoholic,
- 40:25Speaker 1: and they're always trying to come with some crazy story
- 40:27Speaker 1: or whatever, kind of like a y'all need.
- 40:31Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm stealing it from them, I guess.
- 40:32Speaker 1: Huh.
- 40:34Speaker 2: Typically the nudity has something to do with drug abuse,
- 40:37Speaker 2: but this time the excuse the naked intruder gave cops
- 40:40Speaker 2: is crazy. According to our report, The man is facing
- 40:43Speaker 2: multiple charges after police say he broke into a random
- 40:47Speaker 2: Phoenix home. Okay, so the morning shows in Detroit, the
- 40:51Speaker 2: crime is in Phoenix.
- 40:52Speaker 1: Well that makes sense.
- 40:53Speaker 2: Home while naked over the weekend, a house occupied by
- 40:56Speaker 2: several children. The suspect, sixty eight year old Eugene Howard Shelton,
- 41:01Speaker 2: reportedly told investigators he did it because and alligator was
- 41:06Speaker 2: chasing him. Mama said, don't be messing with that alligator
- 41:10Speaker 2: in Phoenix.
- 41:11Speaker 1: That's quite the feat for the alligator.
- 41:13Speaker 2: They might have got out of the zoom, out of
- 41:15Speaker 2: the gata pharm. The report also states that the children
- 41:19Speaker 2: tried to refuse to let Shelton into the house. One
- 41:22Speaker 2: of the kids even hit Shelton on the hand with
- 41:26Speaker 2: an iron before he forced the door open. The kids
- 41:29Speaker 2: called their father, who is nearby, and rushed home. Why
- 41:33Speaker 2: was there no adult in miss house?
- 41:35Speaker 1: The kids? I don't know, Well, the kids might have
- 41:38Speaker 1: been teenagers.
- 41:39Speaker 2: Well, they called their father who is nearby, a rushed
- 41:41Speaker 2: home to find Shelton in the house, sitting on the
- 41:44Speaker 2: couch wearing only socks. Oh god, and not a sock
- 41:48Speaker 2: where you need one either. Now you're going to burn
- 41:50Speaker 2: the couch that's what's depressing.
- 41:53Speaker 1: You literally could never like the couch is done forever
- 41:55Speaker 1: and clean, the couch is done.
- 41:59Speaker 2: When police arrived, they found Shelton lane in the driveway
- 42:02Speaker 2: with the father standing next to him. They found his
- 42:05Speaker 2: boxers and a fanny pack with some pills inside near
- 42:09Speaker 2: the front door of the home. And stay on the couch,
- 42:12Speaker 2: I asked, juice on the couch? Shelton admitted, So gross
- 42:17Speaker 2: is yeah? I mean, what are we talking here, august
- 42:23Speaker 2: in Phoenix? You how sweaty is that ass? Shelton admitted
- 42:33Speaker 2: to officers that he had smoked some meth earlier. You
- 42:36Speaker 2: think that's messed up. Shelton was arrested on charges including burglary,
- 42:41Speaker 2: indecent exposure, and resisting arrest.
- 42:44Speaker 1: And he should have to pay for the couch to
- 42:48Speaker 1: and the cleaning of the home. Wow, those kids are
- 42:52Speaker 1: gonna remember that story.
- 42:54Speaker 2: You can't even use that as a long couch.
- 42:57Speaker 1: No, you can't use it at all. It needs to
- 42:59Speaker 1: be earned anyways. All right, Well that's our y'all need Jesus.
- 43:05Speaker 1: That's our case for the week out of Tennessee. And
- 43:09Speaker 1: we'll try to get one of these out every week.
- 43:12Speaker 1: But again, if these children will cooperate. It's very difficult
- 43:18Speaker 1: with all these children.
- 43:20Speaker 2: Three children. One on the way.
- 43:21Speaker 1: We don't have one on the way, Steward Jesus Christ,
- 43:24Speaker 1: we do not have one on the way. Everybody yet
- 43:28Speaker 1: Stewart stop, Oh my god, what is wrong with you?
- 43:32Speaker 2: You know you can't keep your hands off this girl?
- 43:36Speaker 1: Yes, I can trust me. I can't. You would keep
- 43:41Speaker 1: your micro floppy disc on that side of the room. Okay,
- 43:47Speaker 1: all right, So that's it. Do anything else.
- 43:51Speaker 2: Unless you want to talk about storry awakes in Europe.
- 43:54Speaker 1: No I don't, because it's eleven twelve at nine. Follow

- 44:16Speaker 1: You are a sad human?
- 44:19Speaker 2: Why this is?
- 44:20Speaker 1: Why?
- 44:20Speaker 2: This is?
- 44:20Speaker 1: If there's anything that shows our age difference, is that
- 44:23Speaker 1: you don't know who Kesha is.
- 44:24Speaker 2: And you didn't know who Brian Johnson is. And while
- 44:26Speaker 2: we had to stop and see Asass in Belgium.
- 44:29Speaker 1: Oh yeah, okay, oh yeah, that was stupid that we
- 44:33Speaker 1: had to pull up and I was like, I was
- 44:35Speaker 1: trying to be nice, but like I can get out
- 44:37Speaker 1: and take your photos.
- 44:40Speaker 2: It was nighttime. Wait, our trip was not very well planned.
- 44:44Speaker 1: No, that was on your part.
- 44:47Speaker 2: Well it was what it was.
- 44:50Speaker 1: Anyways, So you you don't know kesh is, you're not
- 44:55Speaker 1: going to know the reference where Janelle was like I
- 44:57Speaker 1: put feathers in my hair, go to the Kesh concert.
- 45:02Speaker 1: She's from Teen mom one of the I think she
- 45:07Speaker 1: was on Teen Moms. No, that was fair. Yes, anyways,
- 45:17Speaker 1: that reminds me of that. We got into that whole
- 45:19Speaker 1: Like there's a lot that's happened since we've been on here.
- 45:22Speaker 1: But remember the girl that slept with the hundred guys.
- 45:24Speaker 2: We got into the.
- 45:25Speaker 1: Whole thing about like the logistics of it, and she's
- 45:29Speaker 1: trying to do a thousand.
- 45:31Speaker 2: And her parents are her agents, yes.
- 45:34Speaker 1: Are in charge of her anyways.
- 45:35Speaker 2: That's whole other thing.
- 45:38Speaker 1: Well no, but then we talked about it's worse just
- 45:40Speaker 1: some Yeah. So then if your daughter's already going to
- 45:43Speaker 1: do this, are you going to just like let her
- 45:46Speaker 1: out there to the wolves? Are you going to try
- 45:47Speaker 1: to protect her as much as you can? I don't know, it.
- 45:52Speaker 2: Would be great, honey, After a hunter, guys, we go
- 45:54Speaker 2: for a thousand.
- 45:55Speaker 1: Well, she's doing a test run with three hundred, supposedly Jesus,
- 45:58Speaker 1: I think right now, like sometime in this timeframe, and
- 46:01Speaker 1: then a thousand was January. But they were talking about
- 46:04Speaker 1: having to have fluffers and like basically like I found
- 46:10Speaker 1: I found. I mean, I find it disturbing for this
- 46:13Speaker 1: girl that she's doing this, but I also found it.
- 46:15Speaker 1: I had questions of the logistics of it all, like
- 46:19Speaker 1: how did you make it through this mini?
- 46:23Speaker 2: If your podcasting career don't work out, you're just gonna
- 46:25Speaker 2: do a novelty I can beat her record?
- 46:29Speaker 1: No, because the guy they had, she had like a
- 46:31Speaker 1: documentary crew following her around, and the guy the camera
- 46:34Speaker 1: almost threw up when you because they interviewed her right
- 46:38Speaker 1: after she did the hundred, and he like walks in
- 46:40Speaker 1: the room and the guy almost threw up. No, I
- 46:44Speaker 1: did not want to follow in her, uh her footsteps.
- 46:48Speaker 1: So all right, Well that's all a.
- 46:52Speaker 2: Lot of spunk. Well I'm saying she's got a lot
- 46:56Speaker 2: of spunk.
- 46:57Speaker 1: Gross all right, So that's it. I'm sorry if you
- 47:01Speaker 1: had to listen to this, but you chose to be here,
- 47:03Speaker 1: so all right, see you next time. Bye everyone, Say bye. Stuck.
- 47:09Speaker 2: Don't you know it's bad to be superstitious. Find nothing
- 47:18Speaker 2: else is working, and it's really learning and sick.
- 47:26Speaker 1: It's worry. I can
