- 0:00Speaker 1: And now move the sticks with Daniel, Jeremiah and Bucky Brooks.
- 0:07Speaker 2: What's up? Everybody? Welcome to move the sticks?
- 0:10Speaker 3: DJ, Bucky, Rhett with you and uh I feel like Buck,
- 0:14Speaker 3: we've done the same thing at the start of all
- 0:15Speaker 3: these episodes when Ret's with us, is that we always
- 0:18Speaker 3: comment on him wearing some eye you gear.
- 0:21Speaker 2: We give him, we give him. We talked about a big.
- 0:25Speaker 3: Win that they've just had over I don't know, maybe
- 0:28Speaker 3: a Minnesota or an Iowa somebody.
- 0:30Speaker 4: Yeah, there's somebody all.
- 0:32Speaker 3: Wart program in the in the Big ten. But now, hey,
- 0:34Speaker 3: look it's he gets what he wants. I know what
- 0:37Speaker 3: I know, Rhett. He likes to uh ye and they
- 0:41Speaker 3: yeah got the they got the in state rival that
- 0:44Speaker 3: won't play him. They got notre name rehtt How fired
- 0:46Speaker 3: up are you for that whole thing?
- 0:47Speaker 1: Hey? They will they won't even come join us in
- 0:49Speaker 1: the conference. You know.
- 0:50Speaker 5: It's like I don't want any part of us. You know,
- 0:53Speaker 5: they've been scared since nineteen ninety one.
- 0:56Speaker 1: I don't know if that's the case. They've dominated here.
- 0:59Speaker 2: Are you gonna go? Are you going to the game?
- 1:00Speaker 1: I will be there.
- 1:01Speaker 2: I will be there. Oh wow, look at that.
- 1:04Speaker 5: Oh yep, freezing cold in South Bend. Ready to rock
- 1:07Speaker 5: and roll? Man, who's yours ready?
- 1:10Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 1:10Speaker 3: I don't want I don't want to ruin the I
- 1:11Speaker 3: don't want to ruin the timing of this because as
- 1:13Speaker 3: we're recording it and things could change efforts. But we
- 1:15Speaker 3: have tons of We're gonna ge throw all these games.
- 1:17Speaker 3: But I'm sorry, We'll get there. But Buck, what in
- 1:20Speaker 3: the world is going on at your alma mater? What
- 1:22Speaker 3: in the world is going on?
- 1:25Speaker 4: What are we talking about? You talking about Bill Belichi?
- 1:27Speaker 1: Yes?
- 1:28Speaker 4: Yes, Look, the best player that he ever coached was
- 1:31Speaker 4: Lawrence Taylor.
- 1:32Speaker 6: Like he understands the pedigree of player and athlete that
- 1:35Speaker 6: comes from there. He wants to have an opportunity to
- 1:37Speaker 6: get it at the ground level. I heard him on
- 1:40Speaker 6: TV talk about it today. I was always skeptical, like, man,
- 1:43Speaker 6: does he really want to?
- 1:43Speaker 4: Like why would he do it?
- 1:45Speaker 6: But the way that he outline some of the things,
- 1:47Speaker 6: like the unlimited coaches where you could almost split it,
- 1:50Speaker 6: like you just have coaches coach and some recruiters recruit.
- 1:54Speaker 6: That was the biggest thing. And then the coaching part
- 1:56Speaker 6: of it is whatever. I mean, Look, he's seventy two
- 1:58Speaker 6: seventy three years old. Would he be for long? I
- 2:01Speaker 6: don't know, but like at this point when you're looking
- 2:03Speaker 6: around the landscape, tu lank CoA said, no, Barry Odom
- 2:07Speaker 6: goes to Purdue. Some of the other candidates that they
- 2:09Speaker 6: talked about, like have going elsewhere. I think you getting
- 2:13Speaker 6: to the point where Carolina is just trying to find
- 2:15Speaker 6: a notable name that could excite the fan base.
- 2:18Speaker 2: I don't know. I just I just laughed, because the
- 2:19Speaker 2: whole the whole.
- 2:21Speaker 3: Premise of the change with Matt was, hey, Max LOLd,
- 2:25Speaker 3: we gotta get some fresh blood in here. Kind of
- 2:27Speaker 3: reminds me of being in high school and breaking up
- 2:29Speaker 3: with a girl and being like, you know, I just
- 2:30Speaker 3: don't want to be in a relationship right now, and
- 2:31Speaker 3: then two days later eating somebody else.
- 2:35Speaker 2: Here, you know what I mean? Like, Yeah, well, you
- 2:37Speaker 2: say what you got to say.
- 2:38Speaker 4: You say what you got to say.
- 2:39Speaker 1: Get on to the next stet, get on to the
- 2:41Speaker 1: next tit.
- 2:44Speaker 3: Get to the next seme of the games here. Let's
- 2:46Speaker 3: start with last night Sunday night football. I just got
- 2:48Speaker 3: back when you talk about a long night when you
- 2:51Speaker 3: got the East Coast game, uh, a night game, you
- 2:54Speaker 3: get home late. So I rolled into the bed about
- 2:56Speaker 3: six am this morning off that game last night. But
- 2:59Speaker 3: do you know what, I didn't even need to watch
- 3:00Speaker 3: the tape of this game. I got up and watch
- 3:03Speaker 3: them of these other games because I've seen this game
- 3:05Speaker 3: fifty times since I've been calling Chargers Chiefs games. I mean,
- 3:09Speaker 3: they are the same every single time. Chiefs can lead,
- 3:12Speaker 3: Chargers end up coming back, Chargers in a position to
- 3:14Speaker 3: win the ball game. But you look up and Patrick
- 3:16Speaker 3: Mahomes has the ball in his hands less than five minutes,
- 3:19Speaker 3: and you know the script. He's going to use his
- 3:22Speaker 3: legs to get a big third down. He does that
- 3:24Speaker 3: every time, and then he's going to extend to play
- 3:27Speaker 3: and somehow Travis Kelcil uncover and they'll get the key
- 3:30Speaker 3: first down that they need. And then why not just
- 3:32Speaker 3: have a little extra Chiefs black magic at the end
- 3:35Speaker 3: of this one buck and just bank one off the
- 3:38Speaker 3: upright with your third string kicker.
- 3:40Speaker 6: I'm telling you, man that the Kancity Chiefs are kind
- 3:42Speaker 6: of becoming like the old historic Boston Celtic is where
- 3:45Speaker 6: you kind of have the luck of the Irish, the
- 3:46Speaker 6: lucky leprechaun or whatever that is. Because they've won games
- 3:50Speaker 6: in every conceivable way this year, to the point that
- 3:53Speaker 6: you do wonder if some teams are going to have
- 3:55Speaker 6: a little issue in dealing with the Chiefs in the
- 3:58Speaker 6: fourth quarter when you get to the postseason, because they've
- 4:00Speaker 6: won so many games at the buzzer and they've been
- 4:03Speaker 6: in so many different ways.
- 4:05Speaker 4: I look, man, you have to give.
- 4:08Speaker 6: Them credit because they obviously are good enough to close
- 4:10Speaker 6: these things out, even though we can say that and
- 4:13Speaker 6: in the same breath say that this is the most
- 4:15Speaker 6: vulnerable Chiefs team that we've seen during their dynastic run ow.
- 4:19Speaker 5: Nine straight AFC West Division titles, second only to the
- 4:24Speaker 5: Patriots run where they got eleven.
- 4:27Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 4:27Speaker 1: I mean, like you going back and.
- 4:29Speaker 5: Listening to you talk about DJ the you know it's
- 4:31Speaker 5: going to come down to a third down.
- 4:33Speaker 1: He's it.
- 4:33Speaker 5: There was Dane Henley had a shot, right, But you
- 4:37Speaker 5: just really didn't have a shot because in that scenario,
- 4:40Speaker 5: Mahomes always wins, right, and then Bam finds, Kelsey, uncovers,
- 4:44Speaker 5: and they just run out the clock. Like It's just
- 4:47Speaker 5: we have seen that too many times. I will say
- 4:50Speaker 5: the couple things that I came away encouraged with, I
- 4:52Speaker 5: thought Quentin Johnson played a nice game for the Chargers.
- 4:55Speaker 5: He had been he had been, you know, kind of
- 4:58Speaker 5: less than in terms of game playing an impact over
- 5:00Speaker 5: the course of the last month. But it's had some
- 5:02Speaker 5: good moments this season. Feels like this is going to
- 5:04Speaker 5: be a year for him to really build on. Josh
- 5:08Speaker 5: Palmer came up with six scrabs in place, you know,
- 5:10Speaker 5: without Ladd McConkie. Those two guys, you know, combining for
- 5:13Speaker 5: eleven and almost one hundred and forty yards. It thought was,
- 5:16Speaker 5: you know, was good for the Chargers. Ultimately, you got
- 5:19Speaker 5: to be able to run the ball a little bit better.
- 5:21Speaker 5: Weren't able to do that as much as I'm sure
- 5:22Speaker 5: the Chargers would have liked, but they're gonna be all right.
- 5:27Speaker 2: Yeah, I left there. It was interesting.
- 5:29Speaker 3: I left the stadium and the first half of the
- 5:31Speaker 3: Chargers couldn't do anything offensive. In the second half, they
- 5:32Speaker 3: got it going. They actually ran the ball a little
- 5:34Speaker 3: bit better in the second half. Gus had nice runs,
- 5:37Speaker 3: come Oni by Dell had a couple of nice runs.
- 5:39Speaker 3: But you're you're leaving there going okay. You try and
- 5:41Speaker 3: fast forward it and go okay. If we get to
- 5:43Speaker 3: the postseason and the Chargers were to trot that same
- 5:46Speaker 3: team in there. Now they have to get by somebody
- 5:48Speaker 3: in the wildcard round to get there, which you know
- 5:50Speaker 3: might not be easy in terms of where.
- 5:52Speaker 2: You could go.
- 5:53Speaker 3: But I'm like, okay, well, if you get off that
- 5:54Speaker 3: plane and all of a sudden, now you've got JK. Dobbins,
- 5:57Speaker 3: You've got Ladd McConkie, you've got Denzel Perrim and all
- 5:59Speaker 3: three of these those guys who will be back, and
- 6:02Speaker 3: you've learned, Like every opportunity for this new coaching staff
- 6:04Speaker 3: against the Chiefs is a learning opportunity. They lose seventeen
- 6:07Speaker 3: to ten at home without their starting you know, without
- 6:09Speaker 3: both starting offensive tackles, without Derwin James, with the hobble
- 6:13Speaker 3: Justin Herbert, and then you go on the road and
- 6:15Speaker 3: you lose on a literally the last play of the game.
- 6:18Speaker 3: I'm sitting and going, man, I think could bring a
- 6:19Speaker 3: full compliment of players back there.
- 6:21Speaker 2: I think you've learned something.
- 6:22Speaker 3: And one of the lessons I think that you learn
- 6:24Speaker 3: is that if you go back and I haven't done
- 6:26Speaker 3: it yet, but I saw it live. When Derwin James
- 6:29Speaker 3: was lined up with Kelsey, he put the clamps on him.
- 6:31Speaker 3: I mean, he just he jammed with the line of scrimmage.
- 6:34Speaker 3: He couldn't do anything. But on the biggest play of
- 6:36Speaker 3: the game, the one that we just showed on that
- 6:38Speaker 3: third down, he wasn't he wasn't lined up over him.
- 6:41Speaker 3: I think that's a lesson that you can learn and
- 6:43Speaker 3: don't make that mistake again.
- 6:45Speaker 2: But Buck, I'm watching them and it's so weird.
- 6:48Speaker 3: You know, first of all, the game, in the pregame,
- 6:50Speaker 3: they're showing the Bills game up on the big screens
- 6:52Speaker 3: in there, and then as the Rams take the lead,
- 6:54Speaker 3: which we'll get to that game, the fans went nuts.
- 6:57Speaker 3: And I'm sitting there. You know, they're they're thinking obviously
- 7:00Speaker 3: big picture in playoffs and home field advantage. But then
- 7:03Speaker 3: I sit and watch this game and I watch DJ Humphries,
- 7:06Speaker 3: who's taken over for Janya Morris yon Ye Morris was terrible,
- 7:09Speaker 3: has been awful this year, and they turned DJ Humphries
- 7:13Speaker 3: inside out. I mean Khalil Mack Joey Bosa two week
- 7:16Speaker 3: below too. They were wearing those tackles out on their
- 7:20Speaker 3: other side as well. Even though ju Wanta Telex get
- 7:22Speaker 3: a little early start every single snap, which is another story,
- 7:25Speaker 3: but they were wearing them out and I'm sitting here
- 7:28Speaker 3: going like, it's so weird to say because this team's
- 7:31Speaker 3: record is unbelievable, the best, the best record in the NFL,
- 7:33Speaker 3: back to back super Bowl champs, but you watch it
- 7:35Speaker 3: live and you're like, man, I'm looking at Buffalo. I'm like, Buffalo,
- 7:38Speaker 3: would you rather play the Chiefs or the or the
- 7:40Speaker 3: or the Steelers or the Ravens like I found Buffalo.
- 7:43Speaker 2: I think I'd be okay with that.
- 7:44Speaker 3: I think I'd be okay going into Kansas City.
- 7:48Speaker 4: The only thing else.
- 7:52Speaker 2: I know, I know what I'm saying. I'm just telling you.
- 7:54Speaker 2: I know the record, and I know and I know Rings.
- 7:57Speaker 3: I know Rings, But I just looking at the roster
- 8:00Speaker 3: out there, I'm like, they don't have much team speed
- 8:02Speaker 3: on offense. They've got one guy who can run on
- 8:04Speaker 3: their whole offense, and then their tackles are terrible, and
- 8:08Speaker 3: I don't know, it's just weird. It's a weird. It's
- 8:10Speaker 3: a weird thing to see a team with the record
- 8:13Speaker 3: and the trophy case as full as it is, yes,
- 8:15Speaker 3: and to leave the stadium and to leave the stadium
- 8:17Speaker 3: going like this is not I mean, I've been in
- 8:19Speaker 3: that stadium when they were humming and you're like, oh, man,
- 8:23Speaker 3: this is a juggernaut.
- 8:24Speaker 5: Man, le's than three hundred yards of total offense. I mean,
- 8:26Speaker 5: it's they finding ways to win those games.
- 8:30Speaker 1: Is the skills?
- 8:30Speaker 2: It's sure.
- 8:33Speaker 3: So I don't know, But what do your take on that, buck,
- 8:35Speaker 3: Because I'm just sitting there going.
- 8:36Speaker 6: Like, I mean, you know I've seen this movie before, right,
- 8:39Speaker 6: I feel like this.
- 8:40Speaker 2: Movie a billion times.
- 8:42Speaker 6: The early the early two thousand Patriots, Like the early
- 8:46Speaker 6: two thousands Patriots that won three out of four. When
- 8:49Speaker 6: you looked at them on offense, you wondered, how in
- 8:51Speaker 6: the world are they winning these games? But there's something
- 8:56Speaker 6: about the belief, the confidence, and then I would say
- 8:59Speaker 6: the con distancy of doing it that you just kind
- 9:02Speaker 6: of know when we get into these moments, we can
- 9:04Speaker 6: do it. And oh, by the way, when you got
- 9:05Speaker 6: the best quarterback in the game, it certainly helps. But
- 9:08Speaker 6: to me, I believe the Can City Chiefs just feel like,
- 9:12Speaker 6: if we get the ball to the fourth quarter in
- 9:14Speaker 6: range number fifteen, can.
- 9:16Speaker 2: Get us over. He's not going to be denied. It happens.
- 9:20Speaker 4: It happens time and time again.
- 9:22Speaker 3: Honestly, Now you got to knock him out. You got
- 9:25Speaker 3: to knock him out. You don't want to go you
- 9:26Speaker 3: don't want to take that to the judges, because if
- 9:28Speaker 3: you take that late into the ballgame, it goes to
- 9:30Speaker 3: the judges. Patrick Mahome's going to make a play and
- 9:31Speaker 3: he's going to rip your heart out. He does it
- 9:33Speaker 3: ten out of ten times. So you've got to handle that.
- 9:35Speaker 3: You got to handle your business a little bit earlier
- 9:37Speaker 3: on in the ballgame. But again, it was a playoff.
- 9:40Speaker 3: Atmosphere was fun. It was a fun evening in a
- 9:43Speaker 3: good football game, all right. I mentioned Buffalo, Buffalo and
- 9:45Speaker 3: the Rams next game here, Rhett Man A million different
- 9:49Speaker 3: ways we can go. Bucky and I were talking about
- 9:52Speaker 3: this on the pod during the week and we said, hey,
- 9:56Speaker 3: be careful this one, this one is and lo and behold,
- 10:01Speaker 3: that's what they found. They found themselves in a shootout
- 10:04Speaker 3: with Matt Stafford and Josh Allen on their eight games.
- 10:07Speaker 5: No, what's scary is being a linebacker or a defensive
- 10:10Speaker 5: back going up against the Rams and having to follow
- 10:13Speaker 5: motion on every single way and just back and forth.
- 10:17Speaker 5: You're moving all over the place across the formation. I
- 10:21Speaker 5: was just I went and watched all the all the
- 10:23Speaker 5: pooka and Akua targets and catches, and you know.
- 10:26Speaker 1: The other thing is pretty cool.
- 10:27Speaker 5: It's pretty cool to have one hundred million dollar receiver
- 10:30Speaker 5: lineup is essentially a full back on every play because
- 10:33Speaker 5: on every receiver, my gosh, every single one of those
- 10:38Speaker 5: Pookaakoula catches. You got Cooper cup just delivering a lead
- 10:41Speaker 5: block out there. I don't know how many guys out
- 10:43Speaker 5: there are doing it the way that Pooka and Cooper
- 10:45Speaker 5: do it, the way that they asked them to go
- 10:47Speaker 5: out there and block. He's also blocking Von Miller in
- 10:50Speaker 5: pass pro on one of those deep Puka Nakoula catches there.
- 10:54Speaker 5: So and and the other thing is like when we
- 10:57Speaker 5: talk about the motion, it's obviously it's nothing new within offense,
- 11:00Speaker 5: but you know it's oftentimes like when Pooka's getting the ball,
- 11:04Speaker 5: it's somebody else moving right and you're understanding than what
- 11:07Speaker 5: the defense is trying to do if you're seeing man.
- 11:10Speaker 5: They had a great bunch look versus man coverage in
- 11:12Speaker 5: this game that got Pooka wide open.
- 11:15Speaker 1: And then just the now throws right.
- 11:17Speaker 5: I counted one, two, three, four five, I believe in
- 11:21Speaker 5: the net, like just right now, Cooper Cup out there
- 11:23Speaker 5: blocking the most dangerous man, and Puka just knifing up
- 11:27Speaker 5: the field like. They don't mess around either. When they
- 11:29Speaker 5: get the ball in their hands right now they move upfield.
- 11:32Speaker 5: They're just so well coached and so willing to help
- 11:38Speaker 5: their teammates and help their offense get the ball down
- 11:41Speaker 5: the field. Maybe a little bit different than what we're hearing,
- 11:45Speaker 5: at least from the Philadelphia Eagles locker room, because the
- 11:48Speaker 5: Rams are a selfless outfit. Don't care how they get
- 11:50Speaker 5: it done. They get it done, whether it's on the
- 11:52Speaker 5: ground or through the air man. It's a lot of
- 11:53Speaker 5: fun to watch it. Just to just put the knife
- 11:55Speaker 5: in the bills here. They become the first team in
- 11:59Speaker 5: NFL history or in the Super Bowl era, let's cause
- 12:01Speaker 5: that we'll go that far back super Bowl era. Despite
- 12:05Speaker 5: scoring six touchdowns and not committing a turnover, they lost.
- 12:09Speaker 5: Teams had been two hundred and forty five and zero
- 12:12Speaker 5: in that scenario where they score six touchdowns and do
- 12:16Speaker 5: not commit a turnover, they'd won all of them. Josh
- 12:19Speaker 5: Allen first player in NFL history with three plus passing
- 12:22Speaker 5: touchdowns and three plus rushing touchdowns at a regular season game.
- 12:25Speaker 1: And it's at a loss, What more do you want
- 12:28Speaker 1: from them?
- 12:29Speaker 4: Now?
- 12:29Speaker 6: Look at a fantastic effort by the Buffalo Bills in
- 12:33Speaker 6: terms of their quarterback and their offense and the efficiency
- 12:35Speaker 6: in those things. But sometimes I think this comes at
- 12:38Speaker 6: the right moment for the Buffalo Bills because it's a
- 12:40Speaker 6: reminder of who they are and how they really need
- 12:43Speaker 6: to play. As exciting as that offense was when they
- 12:46Speaker 6: went up tempo and they're racing up and down the.
- 12:48Speaker 4: Field, what we saw is the exposure of the.
- 12:51Speaker 6: Defense and how they have a defense that is not
- 12:53Speaker 6: a lockdown, shut them down defense. To me, it's a
- 12:57Speaker 6: great reminded to Joe Brady, to Sean McDermot and guys.
- 13:00Speaker 6: Control of the game is everything speeding it up, slowing
- 13:04Speaker 6: it down, But using your offense as the best defense
- 13:09Speaker 6: might be the best path for the Buffalo Bills to
- 13:11Speaker 6: make it to Super Bowl.
- 13:12Speaker 3: I think that's a great point, Buck, And you know, look,
- 13:14Speaker 3: you got to play complimentary football. It's great to fill
- 13:17Speaker 3: up the stat sheet and scoring points never a bad thing,
- 13:19Speaker 3: but I do think you can alleviate some of that
- 13:21Speaker 3: stress with how you play offensively on your defense. The
- 13:25Speaker 3: different thing, though, is that how many of these environments
- 13:27Speaker 3: like this, are the Bills going to find themselves in
- 13:30Speaker 3: the postseason If you look at who they're going to
- 13:32Speaker 3: play and where they're going to play, They're not going
- 13:34Speaker 3: to be playing in this type of environment. And I
- 13:36Speaker 3: think playing in the cold, playing in the snow and
- 13:38Speaker 3: bad weather, wind, all those things, I think that does
- 13:41Speaker 3: tend to slow you down a little bit, if that
- 13:44Speaker 3: makes any sense at all to me. I just think
- 13:46Speaker 3: this is kind of a weird one off, But I
- 13:48Speaker 3: do want to spin it real quick to the other side.
- 13:51Speaker 2: With the Rams, they are a team that you know,
- 13:54Speaker 2: and I know.
- 13:55Speaker 3: Orlavsky got a bunch of grief ret because he said,
- 13:58Speaker 3: you know, I f had the Eagles or you know,
- 14:00Speaker 3: the Lions. I don't know that I want to see
- 14:01Speaker 3: Matthew Stafford when the Eagles just beat the living stuffing
- 14:04Speaker 3: out of them at their place like a week ago.
- 14:06Speaker 2: Let's not forget that.
- 14:08Speaker 3: But I do think that this Rams team is the
- 14:11Speaker 3: opposite of what we're saying about Buffalo.
- 14:13Speaker 2: The Rams.
- 14:13Speaker 3: In the NFC, you're gonna be playing a lot of
- 14:15Speaker 3: these environments indoors, you know, warm weather situations where Matthew
- 14:21Speaker 3: Stafford kind of reminds me of like a you know,
- 14:24Speaker 3: like a you know, like a Max Scherzer type or
- 14:27Speaker 3: a Justin Verlander who maybe is a little bit old.
- 14:29Speaker 3: I don't know that you're gonna get this a A
- 14:32Speaker 3: plus game from Matthew Stafford every week, but he can
- 14:35Speaker 3: give you one or two of them, and that's enough
- 14:37Speaker 3: to knock out one of the favorites in the conference
- 14:39Speaker 3: if they get in the tournament.
- 14:41Speaker 1: No doubt.
- 14:41Speaker 5: And that's why we I mean, we talked about this
- 14:43Speaker 5: a couple of weeks ago on the pod. You know
- 14:45Speaker 5: that the man what watch out for the Rams, watch
- 14:48Speaker 5: out for this. You know, they're not done in this
- 14:50Speaker 5: NFC West, the way that that division is going. They're
- 14:52Speaker 5: just one game back in the Seattle Seahawks right now.
- 14:55Speaker 5: They could end up being a division winner here getting
- 14:57Speaker 5: a whole playoff game. And but yeah, as you look,
- 15:00Speaker 5: got it, really the only place that you're worried about
- 15:01Speaker 5: going to play right now, you know, in terms of
- 15:04Speaker 5: adverse environment is Philadelphia. Maybe you know, it's funny, you know,
- 15:08Speaker 5: any Minnesota's indoors, maybe Green Bay if they you know,
- 15:11Speaker 5: depending on where they're at.
- 15:13Speaker 6: But I'm glad you brought this up at about the
- 15:16Speaker 6: Rams and just the way you talked about. We were
- 15:18Speaker 6: talking about the unselfishness of their wide receivers and Cooper
- 15:21Speaker 6: Cup and what he's able to do with Pooka Nakua.
- 15:23Speaker 6: And when I think about that, that that group, right,
- 15:26Speaker 6: you have Matthew Stafford, two skilled wide receivers, and then
- 15:29Speaker 6: I look to Minnesota and what they're.
- 15:31Speaker 4: Able to do with two.
- 15:32Speaker 6: I do wonder for some of these teams if the
- 15:34Speaker 6: new building model is going to be two polished wide receivers,
- 15:39Speaker 6: not necessarily the speed merchant or whatever, but guys that
- 15:41Speaker 6: are able to kind of play interchangeable roles. Because when
- 15:45Speaker 6: I look at it in La and then I look
- 15:46Speaker 6: at it in Minnesota, it does become an unstoppable force
- 15:49Speaker 6: when it's clicking and it's going in all the right direction.
- 15:52Speaker 3: Well, I think that goes back to the Rams team
- 15:54Speaker 3: that was, you know, in their first Super Bowl that
- 15:56Speaker 3: they lost. All those guys are changeable. You know, they
- 15:59Speaker 3: could all play spreading cooks. All those guys they could
- 16:03Speaker 3: all move around and do whatever you wanted them to do.
- 16:04Speaker 3: That's kind of been when their offense is at its
- 16:06Speaker 3: absolute best. Let's stay though. Rams seven and six in
- 16:10Speaker 3: the NFC West let's stay in the NFC West in
- 16:12Speaker 3: a big game where Seattle buck is. Uh, they found
- 16:16Speaker 3: their little bit here. Now they're eight and five, they've
- 16:20Speaker 3: won four in a row. The defense has got a
- 16:23Speaker 3: good feel now under coach McDonald, they've you know, the
- 16:26Speaker 3: pieces that they swapped out at the second level their
- 16:29Speaker 3: defense have made a difference. But I feel like you
- 16:32Speaker 3: kind of look up and you're like, I think most
- 16:34Speaker 3: people are like, oh, what do the Seahawks were they.
- 16:35Speaker 2: Five hundred right now? Like, oh no, hey, grain five.
- 16:38Speaker 3: Like this is a team that's that's gonna punch their
- 16:40Speaker 3: ticket and kind of a play free, nothing to lose,
- 16:45Speaker 3: dangerous opponent.
- 16:46Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 16:47Speaker 6: The funny thing is it reminds me of their throwback Ara,
- 16:50Speaker 6: but with a better offense. Complimenting when I think about
- 16:53Speaker 6: this defense, this defense has really been a work hard,
- 16:56Speaker 6: try hard defense.
- 16:57Speaker 4: They get after it. They play with great energy and enthusiasm.
- 17:01Speaker 6: Mike McDonald's done a great job of like getting these
- 17:03Speaker 6: guys to really buy into paying attention to the details
- 17:06Speaker 6: and as their players have said, a little more disciplined
- 17:09Speaker 6: when it comes to being held accountable for the things
- 17:11Speaker 6: that they do between the lines. To me, this is
- 17:13Speaker 6: the best version of that defense as we saw I
- 17:16Speaker 6: play out against the Arizona Cardinals did a really good
- 17:18Speaker 6: job of controlling the game, setting the offense up and
- 17:21Speaker 6: offensively Geno Smith in this wide receiver corps jsn DK
- 17:26Speaker 6: Metcalf and some of the other guys that have it's
- 17:28Speaker 6: problematic and the running game to the add this is
- 17:30Speaker 6: a very well balanced team. Just a tough out, a
- 17:33Speaker 6: tough team to play when we think about the postseason
- 17:35Speaker 6: and how some.
- 17:36Speaker 4: Of these matchups could end up winding up.
- 17:38Speaker 5: Look, I kind of went in on that run game
- 17:40Speaker 5: a little bit and just kind of started watching it. Man,
- 17:43Speaker 5: they're getting those offensive linemen on them. I felt like
- 17:45Speaker 5: I was watching Lincoln Riley in the in usc Like
- 17:47Speaker 5: the amount of counter they ran in this game thirty
- 17:51Speaker 5: percent counterplays.
- 17:52Speaker 1: One hundred and twenty eight of their rushing.
- 17:53Speaker 5: Yards of their one hundred and seventy six total came
- 17:58Speaker 5: on nine counterplays. I mean, they were destroying Arizona with
- 18:02Speaker 5: those offensive linemen on the move, you know, and it's
- 18:06Speaker 5: gt counter And I think Abe Lucas coming back into
- 18:09Speaker 5: the lineup at tackle on the right side for Seattle
- 18:12Speaker 5: I think has really helped their run game difference there
- 18:17Speaker 5: for sure, And then you know, Charles Cross over there
- 18:19Speaker 5: on the left side was doing a good job matching
- 18:22Speaker 5: people they run, they run counter a lot. Now teams
- 18:26Speaker 5: run counter against the Cardinals quite a bit too, you know,
- 18:30Speaker 5: top five in the league against that Jonathan Gannon defense.
- 18:32Speaker 5: In terms of that run concept, teams average almost six yards.
- 18:36Speaker 1: Of pop running counter on the Cardinals.
- 18:37Speaker 5: So maybe there's something there with the way that the
- 18:40Speaker 5: Cardinals are defending it. So like, if you look at
- 18:43Speaker 5: the way the teams run outside zone against the Cardinals,
- 18:46Speaker 5: that's obviously the most you know, frequent run concept there.
- 18:50Speaker 5: Teams are averaging about forty yards of pop, but it's
- 18:52Speaker 5: almost six a pop. Now, It's obviously a smaller sample size,
- 18:56Speaker 5: but that's something to kind of look at moving forward.
- 18:58Speaker 2: Here. What the Cardinals got to figure some things out? Man,
- 19:02Speaker 2: They just.
- 19:04Speaker 3: You know, from where they were three weeks ago, four
- 19:06Speaker 3: weeks ago, and then kind of what's happened And Kyler
- 19:09Speaker 3: is not really locked in right now now. It's a disappointing.
- 19:13Speaker 3: I was impressed when I saw him in person earlier
- 19:15Speaker 3: this year. I thought they were kind of playing above
- 19:17Speaker 3: their talent level, and I think maybe now they've bucked.
- 19:19Speaker 3: They might have fallen down a little bit to their
- 19:21Speaker 3: talent level, because I don't think this is one of
- 19:23Speaker 3: the more talented team's overall roster wise.
- 19:26Speaker 6: No, and I think it looks ultimately they did come
- 19:28Speaker 6: back to their talent level.
- 19:29Speaker 4: They were playing great.
- 19:30Speaker 6: They're playing kind of I would say, punching above their weight.
- 19:33Speaker 6: But now they're playing these meaningful games. People are really
- 19:35Speaker 6: exposing their week spots. And when Brett talks about the
- 19:38Speaker 6: counter and the difficulty and defending the counter man, it
- 19:41Speaker 6: takes a defensive end that can smash that thing back
- 19:43Speaker 6: and box it, and then it takes speed running it
- 19:45Speaker 6: down from the backside. And when we look at this
- 19:49Speaker 6: team defensively, they have some worker bees, but I don't
- 19:52Speaker 6: know if they have a lot of blue chip talents
- 19:54Speaker 6: right now as they're presently constructed.
- 19:57Speaker 2: Yeah. No, it's going to be an interesting division.
- 19:59Speaker 3: I think of all the divisions, it's still pretty bunched
- 20:01Speaker 3: up right now. And I don't know that expectations exist
- 20:05Speaker 3: for whoever does come out of this division. But I
- 20:07Speaker 3: know watching the Seahawks team over the last month, it's
- 20:10Speaker 3: a dangerous squad. Watch the Minnesota Vikings, Sam Darnold, welcome
- 20:19Speaker 3: Kirk Cousins back home. Well one a little bit better
- 20:24Speaker 3: for one side than the other.
- 20:25Speaker 2: Rhtt. I'll leave it open for you there.
- 20:28Speaker 1: You know what the only good thing of you knowell,
- 20:30Speaker 1: let me rephrase this.
- 20:32Speaker 5: You know what the best thing about being on a
- 20:34Speaker 5: cruise is is that you can you can get whatever
- 20:38Speaker 5: you want at dinner, right, you can order the lobster
- 20:41Speaker 5: and the prime right, Yeah, whatever you want or yeah,
- 20:44Speaker 5: it doesn't even have to be the buffet, like whatever's
- 20:46Speaker 5: on the menu.
- 20:46Speaker 1: You just give me all of it. They'll bring it in.
- 20:48Speaker 5: That's what Sam Darnold had on offense with Jordan Addison
- 20:52Speaker 5: and with Justin Jefferson. He had the lobster, you had
- 20:54Speaker 5: a prime rib and you know, maybe you got a
- 20:56Speaker 5: little bit of caviar with his cheesecake for dessert, like
- 20:59Speaker 5: I mean all of it, okay, And so that was
- 21:02Speaker 5: great right for the Vikings. And then on the flip side,
- 21:06Speaker 5: like Kirk Cousins started this game, he was on fire
- 21:08Speaker 5: in his return. He was excellent in the first quarter
- 21:11Speaker 5: and now made a couple of one bad decision, one
- 21:15Speaker 5: bad throw, and the wheels were just off the bus
- 21:19Speaker 5: because of how good the Minnesota Vikings was I feel
- 21:22Speaker 5: like because of the interceptions, this this is going to
- 21:25Speaker 5: turn into a narrative on Kirk Cousins. But I'd be
- 21:27Speaker 5: more concerned with the Falcons defense than I am with
- 21:30Speaker 5: Kirk Cousins at this point. The way they let Sam
- 21:32Speaker 5: Darnell knife them up through the air in this game book.
- 21:36Speaker 6: Yeah, you talk about the defense having problems, but I mean,
- 21:39Speaker 6: everybody should struggle against the Minnesota Vikings when they're fully
- 21:42Speaker 6: healthy and everyone is available in the lineup. We've talked
- 21:45Speaker 6: about it on the podcast a few times. When they
- 21:47Speaker 6: have their A team Jordan Addison, Justin Jefferson, TJ. Hockinson,
- 21:51Speaker 6: Aaron Jones in the backfield, it's really hard to match
- 21:53Speaker 6: up with their group. And even though the offensive line
- 21:56Speaker 6: has been weakened with Derisha going out, Cam Robinson has
- 21:58Speaker 6: been pretty solid for them left tackle since he arrived.
- 22:02Speaker 6: This is a really good team. And I'm gonna say this,
- 22:04Speaker 6: and we've talked about it. Hass off to Kevin O'Connell
- 22:07Speaker 6: for having a vision for how Sam Donald could play
- 22:10Speaker 6: in this offense and really maximizing the talent that Sam
- 22:14Speaker 6: Donald had.
- 22:14Speaker 4: And look, he's made a lot of the people that
- 22:17Speaker 4: had big.
- 22:17Speaker 6: Grades on Sam Donald made them those those old notebooks.
- 22:23Speaker 6: And I'll say this, I think it's a great problem
- 22:25Speaker 6: to have because so many people are ready to say, hey,
- 22:28Speaker 6: the Minnesota Viking's got to usher them out and this
- 22:30Speaker 6: and that not so fast?
- 22:32Speaker 4: Why give up on.
- 22:32Speaker 1: A good second, get rid of this.
- 22:35Speaker 6: Yeah, when you've done all of this work and you
- 22:36Speaker 6: got them up and going, I think it's a great
- 22:38Speaker 6: problem to have.
- 22:39Speaker 4: You can never have too many quarterbacks.
- 22:41Speaker 6: The Minnesota Vikings have put themselves in a nice situation
- 22:43Speaker 6: with Sam Donald this year, and who knows what it
- 22:46Speaker 6: looks like next year, whether it's him, Danie Jones, whoever.
- 22:48Speaker 4: Else they put it at quarterback spot.
- 22:50Speaker 2: So two quick thoughts.
- 22:52Speaker 3: First of all, my favorite thing to do on a
- 22:54Speaker 3: Monday after an NFL Sunday is to pull up the
- 22:56Speaker 3: projected stats going forward Sam Donald, where you could see
- 22:59Speaker 3: he's on pace, he's all the way back on pace,
- 23:02Speaker 3: he's all the way back thirty thirty seven touchdowns, thirteen picks,
- 23:07Speaker 3: forty three hundred with eight point five per attempt. So
- 23:12Speaker 3: here's my here's my one. Sam Donald thought, h rhtt,
- 23:15Speaker 3: I'll get it to you. Kick it around the horn. Uh,
- 23:17Speaker 3: and we keep the train moving here. But as someone
- 23:20Speaker 3: who has been in quarterback purgatory with the Jets and
- 23:23Speaker 3: with the Panthers before a brief stop off with the
- 23:26Speaker 3: forty nine ers as a backup, If I'm Sam Donald,
- 23:29Speaker 3: I you know everybody, there's been a lot.
- 23:30Speaker 2: I guess hear somebody.
- 23:32Speaker 3: Yeah, Chefter had a report saying that they haven't engaged
- 23:35Speaker 3: him on long term talks. If I'm Sam Rhett, I'm
- 23:40Speaker 3: going to the Vikings. I mean like, hey, look, I'm
- 23:43Speaker 3: gonna this has been great for me and I want
- 23:45Speaker 3: to do I want to give back to you. I'll
- 23:48Speaker 3: come to you with a deal and it'll be the
- 23:50Speaker 3: It'll be an extremely team friendly deal. I know I
- 23:53Speaker 3: can go I know you could trade me, or I
- 23:54Speaker 3: could just be an unrestricted free agent. I can go
- 23:56Speaker 3: on the market and I can make probably what fifty
- 23:58Speaker 3: million a year because the quarterback draft class isn't very
- 24:01Speaker 3: good and there's a lot of teams that need a quarterback.
- 24:03Speaker 3: I can go get. You know, let's just be you know,
- 24:05Speaker 3: forty to fifty a year up in the upper echelon
- 24:08Speaker 3: of that. I would just be like, look, what's the
- 24:11Speaker 3: difference to me between you know, the thirty five and
- 24:14Speaker 3: the forty five, you know, and I'm just going arbitrary
- 24:16Speaker 3: numbers out here. Like I've been on crappy teams. It's
- 24:19Speaker 3: no fun. Like I'll do you a solid. I'll come
- 24:22Speaker 3: to you with a team friendly deal. Let's lock this
- 24:24Speaker 3: thing in. I want to stay here. I want to
- 24:27Speaker 3: play here for another you know, five to seven years,
- 24:29Speaker 3: and just with this group of players, with this play caller, Rett,
- 24:34Speaker 3: I don't know. Money's not everything, is what I'm getting at.
- 24:37Speaker 5: We just go do the Baker Mayfield deal. Why don't
- 24:40Speaker 5: we go do what he did?
- 24:41Speaker 2: But what is that three four hundred deal?
- 24:44Speaker 5: Three three for a hundred and so is that thirty
- 24:48Speaker 5: thirty four thirty four to thirty five?
- 24:50Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 24:51Speaker 6: Yeah, so so then so then what you do. Let's
- 24:53Speaker 6: add let's add ten million for inflation. So let's just
- 24:57Speaker 6: make it three. Let's make it three for one ten.
- 25:00Speaker 6: And everyone is happening. I mean like yeah, I mean
- 25:02Speaker 6: like it makes sense for them to want to keep
- 25:05Speaker 6: him because he is only improved over the course of
- 25:08Speaker 6: the season and you can just see him getting comfortable.
- 25:11Speaker 6: And what we saw was the explosive element against the
- 25:14Speaker 6: Atlanta Falcons where they would really is the thing to
- 25:16Speaker 6: be in attack mode?
- 25:17Speaker 4: Why not?
- 25:18Speaker 5: I mean, the biggest, the biggest piece of it, Bucky
- 25:20Speaker 5: and just Kevin O'Connell doesn't exist everywhere, right, I mean,
- 25:24Speaker 5: Justin Jefferson and Jordan Edison don't exist everywhere. And I
- 25:27Speaker 5: get much better you No, I'm talking about the three p's.
- 25:29Speaker 5: It doesn't get much better in the Minnesota Vikings right
- 25:31Speaker 5: now for a.
- 25:31Speaker 2: Quarterback, no question. Yeah, I don't know.
- 25:34Speaker 3: I just I'm sitting here in a Monday where everbody's
- 25:37Speaker 3: talking about Wuan Soto going to the highest bidder for
- 25:40Speaker 3: you know, what could be eight hundred million dollars and
- 25:43Speaker 3: just you know, taking the most money you could possibly get.
- 25:45Speaker 5: I just, hey, wait, what's the difference with seven six
- 25:49Speaker 5: when you sifty million?
- 25:51Speaker 1: What's the difference?
- 25:52Speaker 2: What's difference? So that's what I don't I don't get that.
- 25:55Speaker 3: I know that on the agent side of things, you
- 25:57Speaker 3: want to get the big number to be able to use.
- 25:59Speaker 2: But let's go where you're happy.
- 26:01Speaker 3: You go where you're having fun, Like do you look
- 26:02Speaker 3: forward to going to the office every day like that?
- 26:04Speaker 3: And maybe that's once so it always going to look
- 26:07Speaker 3: for that. But I don't want to get sidetracked. But
- 26:08Speaker 3: I'm just like I've seen if I'm if I'm if
- 26:11Speaker 3: I'm Sam, I've seen how bad this is other places.
- 26:15Speaker 3: Why would I want to go through that again for
- 26:17Speaker 3: you know, an extra eight to ten million bucks or
- 26:19Speaker 3: whatever else you would be able to get.
- 26:21Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 26:21Speaker 3: That's uh, that's just my thought there.
- 26:23Speaker 2: All right.
- 26:23Speaker 1: We easy to say what it ate your money? Right?
- 26:26Speaker 6: No?
- 26:26Speaker 2: I know, but I mean what are you going to get?
- 26:27Speaker 2: What do you? I mean, how many golf memberships?
- 26:29Speaker 1: Do you?
- 26:30Speaker 2: Only so many hours iday? What else you do there?
- 26:33Speaker 3: All right, let's keep the train moving here, Let's get
- 26:35Speaker 3: to Vegas, Tampa Bay. I don't you know, Buck, I
- 26:39Speaker 3: don't think we need to spend a ton of time here.
- 26:41Speaker 3: But we were just talking about Baker Mayfield. I guess
- 26:43Speaker 3: we can keep it on that on that subject here.
- 26:46Speaker 6: I think it's another learning lesson in quarterback play and
- 26:49Speaker 6: just how important the environment is for quarterbacks. And when
- 26:53Speaker 6: you look at what Baker Mayfield has been able to
- 26:56Speaker 6: do first last year on the day of Canal, it's
- 26:58Speaker 6: been now on the limb Cohen and Tampa, like he
- 27:00Speaker 6: just has kind of figured out who he is and
- 27:02Speaker 6: what he needs to be to be a successful NFL quarterback.
- 27:06Speaker 4: We're really a franchise quarterback.
- 27:08Speaker 6: And this team has lost a lot a lot of
- 27:10Speaker 6: offensive personnel, but yet here they are still doing it.
- 27:13Speaker 6: Ty Bowles has done a really good job with this defense.
- 27:15Speaker 6: And even though look they're playing a lightweight and the Raiders,
- 27:18Speaker 6: you still got to win these games. And so it
- 27:20Speaker 6: puts them in a position to capture the NFC South
- 27:23Speaker 6: if they take care of business over the next month.
- 27:26Speaker 1: Man, I looked I was watching this game.
- 27:28Speaker 5: This was one of our games on the early window
- 27:31Speaker 5: of Game Day live on NFL Network, and we're watching
- 27:33Speaker 5: the say and the Bucks are running down and looks
- 27:35Speaker 5: like they are going to put up fifty. I mean
- 27:38Speaker 5: it was fourteen, nothing like that. And I'm like, all right,
- 27:41Speaker 5: it was about the last we're going to see this
- 27:43Speaker 5: this game. We're going to keep it moving and I mean,
- 27:47Speaker 5: like low and behold though the Raiders stay in this thing.
- 27:49Speaker 5: And I mean they tried to get blown out in
- 27:51Speaker 5: this game with the turnovers. They had a bad quarterback
- 27:53Speaker 5: center exchange. I actually had a couple of turnovers that
- 27:56Speaker 5: were reversed that end up, you know, not being turnovers,
- 28:00Speaker 5: but could have been disaster for the Raiders. They stayed
- 28:03Speaker 5: in this game towards the end, and then you know,
- 28:05Speaker 5: O'Connell went down and things kind of went off the rails.
- 28:07Speaker 5: But bottom line is they've got a front end front line,
- 28:11Speaker 5: top line talent and Brock Bowers and not a whole
- 28:13Speaker 5: lot else. I mean, like, I remember calling Sincere McCormick's
- 28:17Speaker 5: utsa game against Army back in twenty nineteen, and I'm like,
- 28:21Speaker 5: holy smokes, he is starting at tailback for the Las
- 28:25Speaker 5: Vegas Raiders here in Week fourteen, Like you know, and
- 28:28Speaker 5: with the respect he played pretty dang good in this
- 28:30Speaker 5: game too.
- 28:31Speaker 1: But they got a lot of work to do.
- 28:33Speaker 5: Like if you're Sam Darnold and you're looking at quarterback
- 28:36Speaker 5: needy teams, like, I don't know if I have play
- 28:38Speaker 5: caller here. I definitely don't have playmakers here. Probably don't
- 28:42Speaker 5: have protection here either. It's not a pretty picture out
- 28:44Speaker 5: there for teams that are going to be in the
- 28:46Speaker 5: quarterback market, you know, that want to find success relatively quickly.
- 28:50Speaker 5: Raiders got a lot of work to do on that front.
- 28:53Speaker 3: Okay, I'm going to completely contradict everything that I just
- 28:56Speaker 3: said five minutes ago, just for the sake of this segment.
- 29:00Speaker 3: Buck just for a fun factor here, right, this is
- 29:03Speaker 3: just for fun factor, fun factor conversation all full disclaimer.
- 29:08Speaker 3: So let's just say Sam Donald the Minnesota says, we
- 29:10Speaker 3: have an unbelievable year, but we're not. We're gonna go
- 29:13Speaker 3: with JJ going next year. So Sam gets to the market,
- 29:15Speaker 3: the Raiders sign Sam, don't if you give a draft
- 29:18Speaker 3: draft pick form. They just pay him handsomely. You got
- 29:21Speaker 3: the first pick, you go get Travis Hunter. And now
- 29:23Speaker 3: on the billboards as you drive around, maybe it's on
- 29:25Speaker 3: that big with a sphere or whatever, and it's it's
- 29:28Speaker 3: Brock Bowers Travis Hunter, Sam Donald like watchability wise, the
- 29:32Speaker 3: Raiders got kind of fun right there. I mean they
- 29:33Speaker 3: still can't block a soul, no offensive line, but from
- 29:38Speaker 3: an entertainment for me to entertainment city would be kind
- 29:40Speaker 3: of fun.
- 29:42Speaker 4: I mean it would be fun.
- 29:43Speaker 1: I don't know what it is.
- 29:45Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean it's a lot of smoking.
- 29:47Speaker 1: It's a little bit.
- 29:50Speaker 2: And teller Man Vegas.
- 29:51Speaker 6: Yeah, a lot of a lot of a lot of
- 29:53Speaker 6: a lot of magical stuff.
- 29:54Speaker 2: Sam.
- 29:55Speaker 3: There's gonna be a lot of Yeah, there's gonna be
- 29:57Speaker 3: a lot of conversations. You can have Uh, in the offseas,
- 30:00Speaker 3: I may take Trey Smith, Pam and free agency come
- 30:02Speaker 3: over and fortify the interior that offensive line, and we
- 30:06Speaker 3: all have the time to fix the Raiders. That's a
- 30:07Speaker 3: longer discussion than just a Monday recap pod. All right,
- 30:11Speaker 3: let's uh, let's keep the train moving here. Let's get
- 30:13Speaker 3: to this next ballgame. Uh, Carolina Philly, Look, Buck, we
- 30:17Speaker 3: can we can go to Philly kind of winning ugly.
- 30:20Speaker 3: I continue to look at Carolina, Man, they gave the
- 30:24Speaker 3: Chiefs everything they could handle, which is the best team
- 30:27Speaker 3: in the AFC, and they turn around and should have
- 30:30Speaker 3: beat I mean, should have beat the Chiefs, turn around,
- 30:32Speaker 3: should beat the Philadelphia Eagles. I mean, this is kind
- 30:33Speaker 3: of a it's a perfect result. To be honest with you,
- 30:36Speaker 3: they won't they would never say that. But organizationally, Bryce
- 30:39Speaker 3: Young's playing well. You're playing competitive football against some of
- 30:42Speaker 3: the best teams in the NFL, and yet you're still
- 30:44Speaker 3: protecting your draft status for a team that obviously is
- 30:47Speaker 3: not going to the playoffs.
- 30:48Speaker 6: I give Dave Canals a lot of credit, Like, the
- 30:50Speaker 6: hardest thing to do is to continue to adapt, particularly
- 30:52Speaker 6: is your first year as a head coach and he's
- 30:54Speaker 6: been able to do that. I think he's been a
- 30:56Speaker 6: much better uh head coach the second half of the
- 30:58Speaker 6: season what he's done with Bryce Young.
- 31:00Speaker 4: Bryce Young is playing with.
- 31:01Speaker 6: More confidence, more decisiveness, and that has led to better
- 31:04Speaker 6: production from their offense.
- 31:06Speaker 4: And then defensively, they're playing hard.
- 31:08Speaker 6: So it's a horror playing team as a team that
- 31:10Speaker 6: is inching closer towards being very competitive and eventually winning
- 31:14Speaker 6: these games. Yeah, so you like the progress that's being
- 31:16Speaker 6: made On the other side, though, I'm a little concerned
- 31:19Speaker 6: when I see A J. Brown and DeVonta Smith kind
- 31:21Speaker 6: of going at a little bit on the sideline. You know,
- 31:23Speaker 6: I know that not a lot of balls flying over
- 31:26Speaker 6: the yard in the passing game, but I let upset
- 31:29Speaker 6: about them guys trying to figure out what's going on,
- 31:31Speaker 6: you know, and.
- 31:33Speaker 1: Now here here's a couple of things.
- 31:36Speaker 5: Are the Eagles a better offense when AJ Brown is
- 31:39Speaker 5: involved in a big piece of the puzzle, Absolutely, unequivocally yes.
- 31:44Speaker 1: But they just wanted they just won a game. I
- 31:47Speaker 1: get it.
- 31:47Speaker 5: Was it the most convincing, you know, game you've ever
- 31:49Speaker 5: won in your life against a team that has only
- 31:51Speaker 5: has three wins on the year.
- 31:52Speaker 1: But Sakwan Barkley breaks the record.
- 31:54Speaker 5: He's now the Eagles single season rushing record holders, passes
- 31:58Speaker 5: Leshawn McCoy in this game. I just don't know that
- 32:03Speaker 5: we need to leave our postgame commerence up for interpretation
- 32:06Speaker 5: about our dissatisfaction with the way that we won a game.
- 32:14Speaker 5: This is like what we were talking about with the
- 32:16Speaker 5: Eagles last year. I thought we put all this stuff
- 32:17Speaker 5: to bed, Like, we don't need to be bringing this
- 32:19Speaker 5: back up a week fourteen while we're making a push
- 32:21Speaker 5: to win this in the NFC East Division. We're within
- 32:24Speaker 5: striking distance of the Detroit lines at the top of
- 32:26Speaker 5: the conference, right, I mean, like, hey, I just I
- 32:30Speaker 5: get it.
- 32:31Speaker 1: You want to be a part of the game play,
- 32:32Speaker 1: you want to be a part of the win. But
- 32:36Speaker 1: just there's better ways to hop about that.
- 32:38Speaker 3: I feel like I would say though at that the
- 32:42Speaker 3: Marvin Harrison Senior, I guess have to be specific. Now,
- 32:47Speaker 3: those are few and far between. The guys who play
- 32:49Speaker 3: that position, who just quietly go about their business. If
- 32:52Speaker 3: they get balls, they get balls. If they don't, they
- 32:54Speaker 3: don't like this is the norm. This isn't the exception.
- 32:56Speaker 3: This is normal standard operation.
- 32:59Speaker 5: We have seen this derailed the Eagles. Hey, we saw
- 33:03Speaker 5: it last year. There was discontent everywhere.
- 33:06Speaker 3: Right, yeah, yeah, no, I yeah, look, I'm gonna let's
- 33:10Speaker 3: see where it goes going forward. But you know, there's
- 33:14Speaker 3: my takeaway on this one. On the Eagle side of things,
- 33:16Speaker 3: Buck is not just being in a stadium with Chris
- 33:19Speaker 3: Jones and seeing a guy who in playoff games has
- 33:22Speaker 3: just taken over and literally finished games and been a closer.
- 33:26Speaker 3: Jalen Carter is a closer like he is someone who
- 33:29Speaker 3: is a nightmare to block inside. I think he had
- 33:31Speaker 3: five pressures in this game from the interior and as
- 33:34Speaker 3: well as playing on the other side of line of
- 33:35Speaker 3: scrimmage against the run. He's somebody I think keep an
- 33:37Speaker 3: eye on him. You get in the postseason, you're looking
- 33:39Speaker 3: for a defensive lineman who could kind of get hot.
- 33:42Speaker 3: Obviously Aaron Donald we've seen him get, you know, going
- 33:45Speaker 3: on an epic run in the postseason. Chris Jones has
- 33:47Speaker 3: done it. You know, there there's one there. I think
- 33:50Speaker 3: the Bucks team when they won their Super Bowl, those
- 33:53Speaker 3: their edge guys went off. I think Jalen Carter's getting
- 33:56Speaker 3: to that level.
- 33:58Speaker 6: Look is dominant player and the thing that stands out
- 34:01Speaker 6: this year, they can go harder for longer. They're still
- 34:05Speaker 6: rolling people in and out, but to me, they're just
- 34:07Speaker 6: in better physical condition and that is going to be
- 34:10Speaker 6: a huge benefit for them as they get into the postseason.
- 34:13Speaker 6: If Jalen Carter can continue to operate at this pace
- 34:16Speaker 6: where he's really destructive and he is able to be
- 34:18Speaker 6: disruptive in key moments, it gives them the edge over
- 34:22Speaker 6: even the Detroit Lions depending on where the game is.
- 34:25Speaker 6: There's still so much promise, so much to like about
- 34:27Speaker 6: this team eventually being the best team in the NFC
- 34:30Speaker 6: and the team that may represent the NFC and the
- 34:32Speaker 6: Super Bowl.
- 34:33Speaker 5: Hey, quickly on the Panthers here, DJ, you know, it's
- 34:36Speaker 5: just it's awful for Jonathan Brooks. The same ACLI tour
- 34:42Speaker 5: last November at Texas, he tears it again and this
- 34:47Speaker 5: was his third game back, I believe, and you could
- 34:50Speaker 5: just see it right away. What just felt it, you know,
- 34:53Speaker 5: kind of in that right knee, and man, I just
- 34:56Speaker 5: feel for him, feel for the Panthers as days you're
- 34:59Speaker 5: going to embark on another rehab and look it certainly
- 35:02Speaker 5: would be surprised if we see him at the start
- 35:04Speaker 5: of next season.
- 35:05Speaker 3: Yeah, Well, look, you know who he needs to call.
- 35:07Speaker 3: He needs to call Frank Gore. Yeah, and get some
- 35:10Speaker 3: encouragement from somebody who's done the same thing and battled
- 35:13Speaker 3: through multiple ACLS and historic long career. So hopefully the
- 35:17Speaker 3: same happens there for him as he recovers from that injury. Chicago,
- 35:21Speaker 3: San Francisco, guys, we've been pretty positive today.
- 35:26Speaker 2: I think for the most part. Let me turn, let
- 35:28Speaker 2: me change that.
- 35:30Speaker 3: I you know, I've said, I think Kayleb Williams is
- 35:33Speaker 3: extremely talented, and the box score in this game does
- 35:36Speaker 3: not matched the video. When I went back and watched it,
- 35:38Speaker 3: the box score didn't look that bad in this ballgame.
- 35:40Speaker 3: But goly, he's got to stop holding the ball so long, man, Buck.
- 35:44Speaker 3: He's just he's just got to let it rip. I
- 35:47Speaker 3: don't know if it's if he's not seeing it because
- 35:50Speaker 3: he is hanging on one for way too long, or
- 35:52Speaker 3: whether he just is still got a little bit of
- 35:54Speaker 3: that fear of failure and doesn't want to make a mistake.
- 35:57Speaker 2: But I mean, the forty.
- 35:58Speaker 3: Nine ers, they're still hanging around at six and seven.
- 36:00Speaker 3: Their season's not over. They've got a chance, even with
- 36:03Speaker 3: all their injuries. To fight back into it and we
- 36:06Speaker 3: can get to the forty nine ers in a second.
- 36:07Speaker 2: But I don't know.
- 36:08Speaker 3: There was a good reminder watching the tape on this
- 36:10Speaker 3: that don't box scor scout. There's been games where he
- 36:12Speaker 3: has had ugly numbers and I thought he's played better.
- 36:14Speaker 3: This is the opposite. I thought the numbers looked a
- 36:16Speaker 3: little bit better than the performance. I was a little
- 36:18Speaker 3: disappointed on that.
- 36:19Speaker 6: Yeah, No, and they played against a team that was
- 36:22Speaker 6: fighting for the lives that was dis kind of like
- 36:24Speaker 6: the last Hurrah, and they came with full aggression. And
- 36:29Speaker 6: the thing about Kayla Williams that's frustrating is you see
- 36:31Speaker 6: him operate at a high level in moments, but he
- 36:35Speaker 6: just can't sustain it. Like you see the ball come
- 36:36Speaker 6: out on time, you see him read, you see him
- 36:38Speaker 6: scramble when he needs to, all of those things.
- 36:40Speaker 4: But then there're other times you're like, man, like, just
- 36:42Speaker 4: make the game easy.
- 36:44Speaker 6: And naturally, first year player is going they're going to
- 36:48Speaker 6: have some ups and downs and go through growing pains,
- 36:50Speaker 6: but you.
- 36:50Speaker 4: Would just like to see him kind of do like.
- 36:53Speaker 6: Some of his classmates are doing right where you kind
- 36:55Speaker 6: of felt like the trajectory was on the up. You're
- 36:58Speaker 6: just getting too many up and downs from the number
- 37:01Speaker 6: one overall pick and you just like to see him
- 37:02Speaker 6: smooth it out as we hit them stretch.
- 37:04Speaker 5: Yeah, I mean it's not just offensively though, I mean
- 37:07Speaker 5: they let up ten explosives, Georget.
- 37:10Speaker 3: Freaking running through them like switching going through the second
- 37:13Speaker 3: level of their defense.
- 37:15Speaker 1: It was, yeah, obviously not great.
- 37:18Speaker 5: And I think you that's that's what you lose a
- 37:21Speaker 5: little bit right when now you've you know, you have
- 37:24Speaker 5: Matt Eberflu's gone for not just the game management portion
- 37:28Speaker 5: of this Chicago Bears team, but of the defense to
- 37:32Speaker 5: and man, the wheels fall off the bus on.
- 37:34Speaker 3: That side, Robert Solid, I mean, look at the Jets
- 37:37Speaker 3: defense since you fire him. It's this unintended consequence when
- 37:40Speaker 3: you get upset with maybe not using a timeout or
- 37:43Speaker 3: this side or the other, when a guy runs one
- 37:45Speaker 3: side of the ball. It's not just the head coach
- 37:47Speaker 3: that's getting let go. It's so anyways, we don't need
- 37:50Speaker 3: to go much further.
- 37:51Speaker 2: There, Buck. Do you have any hope for the for
- 37:53Speaker 2: the for the Niners going forward?
- 37:55Speaker 5: I mean nope, you got another interview Grendo like, Yeah,
- 38:00Speaker 5: it's just it's it's look that the NFC West is
- 38:03Speaker 5: going to keep a minute. They're two games out and
- 38:05Speaker 5: that they can keep staying afloat, keep bringing back some reinforcements.
- 38:08Speaker 1: Maybe that was.
- 38:10Speaker 3: That was very exciting. That was riveting there, guys. I'm
- 38:13Speaker 3: fired up. If I'm a forty nine Ers fan, listen
- 38:15Speaker 3: to that.
- 38:15Speaker 2: Yeah, guys.
- 38:21Speaker 3: Cleveland Pittsburgh, Pittsburgh's rolling man. A game that they would
- 38:26Speaker 3: probably be their worst game of the year at Cleveland, Well,
- 38:29Speaker 3: didn't happen that way. In Pittsburgh. They handled business. Russell
- 38:32Speaker 3: Wilson was excellent. They beat the Browns at home for
- 38:34Speaker 3: the twenty first straight time. Are you kidding me? Twenty
- 38:36Speaker 3: one straight? That's insane? What an insane number. Gosh, that
- 38:40Speaker 3: was a part of that was a part of a
- 38:41Speaker 3: couple of those losses with the Cleveland definite.
- 38:44Speaker 2: Goes back a man.
- 38:45Speaker 3: Uh, look when when you watch this game, the defensive
- 38:48Speaker 3: front of Pittsburgh was outstanding and they've got so many
- 38:52Speaker 3: guys like you. For Kem Benton had a pick in
- 38:54Speaker 3: this game on a screen where he makes an unbelievable
- 38:56Speaker 3: play where he sees it, sniffs it out. Uh, makes
- 38:59Speaker 3: the play. They've got a lot of bodies they can
- 39:01Speaker 3: roll through there. Then you go over to the other
- 39:03Speaker 3: side of the ball. Russ Is he's playing confidently, he's
- 39:07Speaker 3: working in seams with firemouth. You don't even have your
- 39:10Speaker 3: best offensive weapon and George Pickens in this game. It
- 39:12Speaker 3: doesn't matter. Jalen Warren's running really, really hard. As their
- 39:16Speaker 3: nice compliment, I don't think you want to overuse him.
- 39:18Speaker 3: I think he's at his best when he's sharing that
- 39:20Speaker 3: with Naji. But man, he's he's a nice piece for
- 39:23Speaker 3: them and they're gonna be a tough out when they
- 39:26Speaker 3: get into the postseason. So a big win for Pittsburgh
- 39:29Speaker 3: over clevelandt the Jets and the Dolphins.
- 39:34Speaker 2: Did you subject yourself to that?
- 39:36Speaker 1: Oh yeah, yeah, watch that one for sure. Watched you
- 39:39Speaker 1: know what this.
- 39:42Speaker 5: Jets passing attack was supposed to look like, you know,
- 39:45Speaker 5: as Aaron Rodgers in one hundred yards to Garret Wilson,
- 39:47Speaker 5: one hundred yards to Devonte Adams and their scoring some
- 39:50Speaker 5: points and touchdowns, and it just.
- 39:53Speaker 1: It wasn't enough.
- 39:54Speaker 5: They couldn't deal with what the what the Dolphins had
- 39:57Speaker 5: in the pass game.
- 39:58Speaker 1: Now they stopped the run.
- 39:59Speaker 5: Now that's something I'd be a little bit concerned about
- 40:01Speaker 5: it from the Dolphins moving forward have not been able
- 40:03Speaker 5: to run the ball with a ton of effectiveness over
- 40:06Speaker 5: the course of the last couple of weeks, but tyreek
- 40:08Speaker 5: Kill and Jalen Waddell were impactful in this game. And
- 40:11Speaker 5: then John Neu Smith, who was held basically without a
- 40:15Speaker 5: catch for the entirety of the game, comes off and
- 40:18Speaker 5: sponsors the overtime walk off winning drive and catches ends
- 40:23Speaker 5: up with three catches, forty four yards and a touchdown,
- 40:27Speaker 5: saving my fantasy season, sending me to the postseason, and
- 40:30Speaker 5: all the while keeping the Miami Dolphins in the postseason.
- 40:34Speaker 3: I was sweating that for the fantasy team, right, we
- 40:36Speaker 3: were all great one news. We can all rejoice on
- 40:39Speaker 3: that Jackson Jacksonville, Tennessee as we're going rapid fire games
- 40:46Speaker 3: a bar burner.
- 40:47Speaker 6: But I think the lesson that you learned here is
- 40:48Speaker 6: players not plays, and the Jackman Jaguars offensively couldn't move
- 40:52Speaker 6: the ball at all until they had the epiphany in
- 40:54Speaker 6: the second half to say, you know what, maybe we
- 40:56Speaker 6: should get the ball to Brian Thomas Junior, and Brian
- 40:58Speaker 6: Thomas Junior having zero receptions in the first half, to
- 41:03Speaker 6: finish him with eight and what he did, he lit
- 41:06Speaker 6: up the offense he may plays. He confirmed why he
- 41:09Speaker 6: is one of the promising young wide receivers that look,
- 41:11Speaker 6: he is going to be in that conversation being elite
- 41:13Speaker 6: really quickly. He has all the goods, all the tools
- 41:16Speaker 6: to do anything that he wants to do on a perimeter.
- 41:18Speaker 6: When the Jaguars got them the ball, their offense open up.
- 41:21Speaker 4: It's a lesson to be learned. Good players make good offenses.
- 41:25Speaker 6: Get the ball to your best players, and your offense
- 41:27Speaker 6: has a chance to operate at.
- 41:28Speaker 3: Ilum Buck last year, at the end of the year,
- 41:32Speaker 3: Herbert was missing some games, and I thought about when
- 41:35Speaker 3: you do your expenses, you send them in when you're
- 41:37Speaker 3: calling these games. I thought, maybe pain and suffering an
- 41:39Speaker 3: extra five hundred game. I don't know what you're thinking there,
- 41:42Speaker 3: but you might as well see if mister Connell give
- 41:44Speaker 3: you a little extra subjecting your eyeballs to this product
- 41:47Speaker 3: right now.
- 41:47Speaker 4: Man, it's a different approach. It's a different approach.
- 41:49Speaker 1: It's a different approach.
- 41:50Speaker 4: When you're out of it and your star quarterback is
- 41:54Speaker 4: not there. It's a different approach.
- 41:55Speaker 6: But they played hard, so there was some solace in
- 41:57Speaker 6: watching the team play hard.
- 41:59Speaker 2: Well, there you go, rhtt.
- 42:01Speaker 3: I give you the floor here for New Orleans and
- 42:03Speaker 3: the Giants here in a game which I was following along,
- 42:07Speaker 3: I was watching it. I was following along in the
- 42:09Speaker 3: press box at the stadium in Kansas City.
- 42:12Speaker 2: It was there really really early.
- 42:14Speaker 3: And I was just following different games, and I just
- 42:15Speaker 3: would update it and be like, Drew Luck, oh for six,
- 42:17Speaker 3: Drew Luck, I'm like, did we.
- 42:19Speaker 2: Get a completion? Did we complete a ball in this
- 42:21Speaker 2: ball game?
- 42:23Speaker 5: It turns out like he came alive in the second
- 42:25Speaker 5: half a little bit and going twenty one to forty
- 42:28Speaker 5: nine down the stretch.
- 42:29Speaker 1: And he also he.
- 42:31Speaker 3: Had to have started out like oh for eight or something,
- 42:33Speaker 3: because I mean, I kept updating it as someone who's
- 42:36Speaker 3: not going to the Fantasy playoffs because I couldn't get
- 42:38Speaker 3: Molik Neighbors loose in that ball.
- 42:40Speaker 2: And that's why I want that's right.
- 42:43Speaker 1: If I actually I could actually tell you this because
- 42:46Speaker 1: I'm looking.
- 42:46Speaker 2: At the game was over eight.
- 42:48Speaker 5: Drew was six for nineteen in the first half for
- 42:53Speaker 5: fifty two yards, so he ended up completing fifteen passes
- 42:56Speaker 5: in the second half. Shockingly, the Giant's had a chance
- 43:00Speaker 5: to win this game, or at least tie this game
- 43:03Speaker 5: at the end, and somehow didn't you know. The most
- 43:08Speaker 5: notable thing that came out of this game is another
- 43:10Speaker 5: unfortunate injury for Derek Carr.
- 43:12Speaker 1: It's got a fracture in his hand.
- 43:14Speaker 5: It sounds like and this is probably the end for
- 43:18Speaker 5: Derek Carr this season in New Orleans. Happened on that
- 43:22Speaker 5: play right there, the Saints blocked dere Rizzy. I'll tell
- 43:26Speaker 5: you what, man, You know, here's one interim head coach
- 43:30Speaker 5: who has not let his side of the ball slip right.
- 43:33Speaker 1: So we talked about that a couple of times.
- 43:35Speaker 2: They fired us.
- 43:36Speaker 5: That special teams unit for New Orleans has stayed up,
- 43:39Speaker 5: and they come up with a block field goal at
- 43:41Speaker 5: the end on a chip shot from Graham Gano, and
- 43:45Speaker 5: they preserve and get persevered, get the win, and now
- 43:48Speaker 5: five and eight, and I guess not out of the playoff.
- 43:50Speaker 3: Fun Buck, I'll leave you with this happy note here
- 43:54Speaker 3: on the Giants side of things, I was just looking
- 43:57Speaker 3: up some of the PFF ultimate numbers and going through
- 44:00Speaker 3: the weekend, and I always look to see the leaders
- 44:01Speaker 3: and see what stands out. So I'm looking at pressures
- 44:04Speaker 3: for the week have you seen this rhet so Chase Young.
- 44:07Speaker 3: Chase Young had twelve pressures that game, twelve, which was
- 44:11Speaker 3: the most in the league. You know who was behind him,
- 44:13Speaker 3: Carl Granderson, his teammate had eight. I'm gonna go out
- 44:16Speaker 3: and lemon say the Giants offensive tackles were not very good.
- 44:18Speaker 3: What I'm gonna say twenty pressures off the edge?
- 44:22Speaker 5: Five years running now, we've been talking about this offensive
- 44:25Speaker 5: line this way, like something's got to change.
- 44:28Speaker 3: Well, I think one of my I think josh A
- 44:29Speaker 3: Zuda was playing out there. But don't worry about that, Carolina,
- 44:33Speaker 3: because Bill Belichick is gonna come come to North Carolina.
- 44:35Speaker 2: We're going to start producing a little bit better product.
- 44:39Speaker 1: Heels are.
- 44:40Speaker 2: I don't know that's right where we are.
- 44:42Speaker 4: Maybe as a significant other that wants to go to grad.
- 44:44Speaker 2: School, I don't know.
- 44:45Speaker 3: Oh wow, rhtt you want to jump in here, Cincinnati, Dallas,
- 44:50Speaker 3: you got some pressing thoughts on this one that.
- 44:54Speaker 4: Would be a negative.
- 44:56Speaker 2: Yes, that's Dallas. You're not fired up for this.
- 45:00Speaker 1: Alboys had been playing some better football.
- 45:03Speaker 2: I mean, like, if you have the big ros get
- 45:05Speaker 2: you fired up, doesn't that?
- 45:07Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 45:08Speaker 5: And look it's another opportunity to watch. You know, the
- 45:11Speaker 5: best quarterback that keeps going underappreciated right now, Joe Burrow
- 45:15Speaker 5: because you know, his team just can't find a way
- 45:17Speaker 5: to get wins and it's tough, but I love watching
- 45:20Speaker 5: Joe Burrow play this position. And man, anytime you get
- 45:24Speaker 5: a chance to watch that dude spin it, it's it
- 45:26Speaker 5: is certainly worth the price of admission.
- 45:29Speaker 1: And like, yeah, I'm interested.
- 45:30Speaker 5: That's one I'll tune every time we get the Bengals
- 45:33Speaker 5: on offense and the Cowboys on defense, Like let's go.
- 45:37Speaker 2: Hey Buck real quick.
- 45:39Speaker 3: You know what Burrow and Chase remind me of is
- 45:42Speaker 3: and when, at least when we were growing up. I
- 45:43Speaker 3: think the rules have changed. But with like high school basketball,
- 45:46Speaker 3: so if you if you transferred back in the day,
- 45:49Speaker 3: like you know, you still have to sit out right
- 45:51Speaker 3: in high school, don't make you sit out.
- 45:52Speaker 2: But back in our day, they could play JV.
- 45:56Speaker 3: So you like, two of the best basketball players in
- 45:59Speaker 3: the county, they transfer to your school, but they got
- 46:02Speaker 3: to play in the JV game. Like that's like watching
- 46:04Speaker 3: Burrow and Jamar Chase like gos, these guys are incredible.
- 46:07Speaker 3: You know, it'd be fun to watch them play in
- 46:09Speaker 3: the varsity game.
- 46:10Speaker 4: They are They are unbelievable.
- 46:12Speaker 6: They have a nice like synergy to connection Joe Burrow
- 46:15Speaker 6: just running this offense. I mean people are talking about
- 46:18Speaker 6: the defense, and rightfully so, but just doing it for
- 46:20Speaker 6: the offense, like don't worry about the defense, like let
- 46:23Speaker 6: them score so can get the ball back. But offensively, man,
- 46:26Speaker 6: they do some fun stuff. It's a fun team to watch.
- 46:28Speaker 6: That in itself makes it watchable the Monday night football
- 46:32Speaker 6: game because you.
- 46:33Speaker 4: Will see some points.
- 46:33Speaker 6: You see this offense go up and down the field,
- 46:35Speaker 6: even against the Cowboys defense.
- 46:38Speaker 5: DJ, you're gonna watch The Simpsons all cast on Disney Plus.
- 46:44Speaker 2: I'll be honest with you. I never got into The Simpsons.
- 46:46Speaker 1: I know.
- 46:47Speaker 2: I'm probably rare for a no no.
- 46:49Speaker 4: Like three of us group.
- 46:50Speaker 2: Like I didn't.
- 46:51Speaker 1: I didn't want just the fact that the fact.
- 46:52Speaker 4: That it was on for twenty plus years it is
- 46:54Speaker 4: still on. I don't know like it just but it's running.
- 46:58Speaker 3: I think in Living Color was on forward or after
- 47:00Speaker 3: it right, I loved anything. I watch a Living Color
- 47:04Speaker 3: every week, but I was not. I just know I'm
- 47:05Speaker 3: not a I'm not I'm an adult. I don't watch cartoons.
- 47:08Speaker 3: A cartoon any day.
- 47:09Speaker 4: Yeah, cartoon guy, look at us. Sounded like the old
- 47:12Speaker 4: man on the pod.
- 47:13Speaker 3: All right, it's fine, just get off our loan, all right,
- 47:16Speaker 3: this is a fun one. I hope RHTT didn't win
- 47:18Speaker 3: the rookie draft again. Well, I guess we'll find out tomorrow.
- 47:20Speaker 3: I'm nervous. We have brock Bowers. Yeah, I don't know.
