- 9:05Well, hello ladies and gentlemen.
- 9:06My name is Brett Keen and you are watching and listening to
- 9:09the Brett Keen show. I hope everyone's doing well
- 9:12today. Today I have been asked to get
- 9:17this going because some people out there want to have
- 9:20discussions, conversations. So let's do it.
- 9:24Looks like we got somebody here named Drewski.
- 9:31Hey, Brett, can you hear me OK? Are you getting any feedback or
- 9:34anything? Sounds like there might be a
- 9:38little that wanted the soup in there, but you're doing OK now.
- 9:43I'm doing all right. First off, I just got to say, I
- 9:47don't know if you'll be offended by this, but whenever I hear the
- 9:50Brett Keene Show, I just think the Tom Green Show.
- 9:54Has anyone ever said that, Well, it does kind of rhyme, but is
- 9:59Tom Green even still around? No, but it's just, you know, my
- 10:03childhood. I grew up watching the Tom Green
- 10:05show. I just, I just see your channel
- 10:08sometimes and I'm like, this is the Brett Keen Show.
- 10:12It's not the Keen Brett Show. Do you remember that song?
- 10:16No, I don't remember that the, the actual show which is on the
- 10:20radio is GOD TV Radio. And my buddy Johnny always says
- 10:25to me, he goes, why do you call it GOD TV radio?
- 10:28Because you don't always talk about God and religion.
- 10:31And he said, why don't you just call it the Brett Keene Show?
- 10:34So it's, it's typical, you know? Oh, hey, I got to ask, are you
- 10:39okay with cursing on this? Sure.
- 10:42OK, All right. Why is that?
- 10:51No, it's just, you know, I got me some E&J here and, you know,
- 10:55just naturally when I'm hanging out, I just got a potty mouth, I
- 11:01guess. Oh, it's all good.
- 11:04Well, if you're going to do a GOD TV radio show and have
- 11:07people from all around the world come in with different views,
- 11:10you can't expect everybody to soup down to your way of doing
- 11:14things. Besides, I don't have the nicest
- 11:16mouth myself. All right, well, there's
- 11:22something I wanted to ask you about.
- 11:24Is it OK if we get into it right away?
- 11:28Well, depends on what the topic is.
- 11:30Sure, it's a political topic. You, you talk politics, right?
- 11:35Well, I talk about how I complain about them, and I
- 11:40talked about how I'm not happy with conservatives or liberals
- 11:43on a lot of issues, that kind of thing.
- 11:47So you would describe yourself as like a centrist or wouldn't
- 11:52know what a good political label is anymore.
- 11:54I used to really, really care about what was going on.
- 11:58Now I feel like everything said to me is usually a lie or
- 12:01exaggerated okay. My question is I don't, I don't
- 12:06know if you know about this because it's pretty low key, but
- 12:10it's it seems to be like rising and maybe it could be a problem
- 12:14in the future. It seems like a lot of
- 12:16Republicans are passing anti pornography legislation and
- 12:23there are some Republican politicians that say they just
- 12:27want to outright ban Internet porn.
- 12:31Have you heard about this and what do you think about it?
- 12:34Well I heard that one of the major issues on one why they
- 12:38want to do this is it's if you look at the stats on this and
- 12:43I've done a couple videos about it, a lot of these countries
- 12:47that are mostly in the political leaning of as well as have the
- 12:52world view of atheism. They have the highest child porn
- 12:56distribution of all countries out there according to atheist
- 13:00countries. You got Denmark that is actually
- 13:05where they started their first they invented the first child
- 13:08porn magazine, atheist country. I'm not aware of this.
- 13:13I might have to look this up just for the facts because you
- 13:18know I because you know I brought this topic up out of
- 13:22nowhere and you know I might say some things without direct facts
- 13:26to back them up but I find it hard to believe.
- 13:29I thought those Scandinavian countries were pretty good about
- 13:32most things, but that's something I'm going to have to
- 13:35research in the future. Well, it's not just that.
- 13:38Besides the highest child porn distribution in the world, they
- 13:42had the highest substance abuse, which means they are most likely
- 13:46to be doing drugs, alcohol and all that.
- 13:49And the worst of all is they're high.
- 13:52They are highest statistic for suicide in the world.
- 13:57You can take all the religions combined, and they wouldn't even
- 14:01come close to being half as many as the atheist countries out
- 14:05there with it. Hey Joe, how are you?
- 14:07You're welcome to come in if you'd like to chat.
- 14:10But yeah, I've I've got a couple videos up there where I show all
- 14:14the sources and all that. I'd like to say something about
- 14:17that, though, because I don't. I don't know what correlations
- 14:22might deal with, you know, Scandinavia having higher
- 14:26suicide rates, but I just know don't I've heard this all my
- 14:30life, Don't people get more depressed in the winter?
- 14:33And couldn't maybe the Scandinavian climate and, you
- 14:37know, just area of the world just be more of a factor in
- 14:41that? I don't know.
- 14:41I'm not sure. I don't know.
- 14:44So you think it might be where you're at on the planet or
- 14:48something like that? Well, yeah, I just heard, you
- 14:51know, like there's like, it's dark and gloomy in the winter
- 14:54and people just get depressed in the winter time more often.
- 14:59So I don't know. That might have something to do
- 15:02with it. But yeah, going back to the
- 15:06issue though, don't you think banning porn, doesn't that just
- 15:12create a black market? And isn't there just more
- 15:16opportunities? Like, I I think more child porn
- 15:20and illegal things of that nature might become more
- 15:23prevalent if we outright ban it. Well, that's that's usually the
- 15:29argument of everybody out there. That's got an agenda though,
- 15:34isn't it? If you shut us down, we'll just
- 15:36get stronger. We'll get more powerful.
- 15:39That's what they say about why they lost the drug war back in
- 15:42the 80s. As far as I'm concerned, though,
- 15:44I think it's a bad idea to try to remove adult consenting corn.
- 15:50If adults want to look at other adults doing that, it's their
- 15:53right. I personally think it'll damage
- 15:56them in a lot of different ways, but I'm not going to tell
- 15:59somebody what they can look at or what they can talk about on
- 16:02that okay. That's respectable.
- 16:05I appreciate that. I oh, I'm sorry, I forgot to
- 16:12turn my notifications off. Did you hear that crap?
- 16:15Yeah, it just sounded like a little dog with a bell leash or
- 16:18something. It wasn't that rough.
- 16:20Oh, my. My notification for my phone.
- 16:24It's like the Power Rangers, like, you know, the
- 16:27communicators that go, yeah, that's how that's really a lot
- 16:35of how my position works. I'm totally against abortion,
- 16:40yet I'm not going to stand out in front of the clinic and tell
- 16:43somebody what to do with themselves on that.
- 16:46I will express until I'm blue in the face how you know,
- 16:49disgusting I think something is. But I'm not going to stand in
- 16:53somebody's way if they ultimately choose with their
- 16:56free will what they're going to do.
- 16:59Yeah, I I got something to say about abortion personally.
- 17:03Me, I am an atheist and everybody thinks these, these
- 17:09pro-life people are all crazy Christians.
- 17:12I wouldn't call myself pro-life. Like I I would say that abortion
- 17:18should be legal, but personally I think it's immoral in in most
- 17:26cases. You are the 5th atheist in my
- 17:31entire existence who has been standing up against abortion.
- 17:36The fifth one I got a friend named Adam who was a former
- 17:39atheist for many years. Literally in the last few weeks
- 17:44he's changed over to being a theist and that he said that he
- 17:48believes it's murder and people like that should be put in
- 17:52prison. What's your thoughts on and how
- 17:54extreme do you got? I wouldn't necessarily call it
- 17:57murder. I I would say that it when it
- 18:02comes down to it, people don't think about it this way.
- 18:06When if you were to ask somebody what is abortion, you would you
- 18:11would get many answers across the spectrum.
- 18:13But if you simplify it, abortion is a medical procedure.
- 18:18I in my opinion, it should be regulated by the medical
- 18:21community. But me, my thought process is
- 18:25even though the fetus might not be sentient, it might not have a
- 18:30mind of its own, yet it still has its own DNA.
- 18:34Like it's like if you choose not to abort the fetus, that DNA,
- 18:39like it's it's not like a Rubik's Cube that's going to
- 18:41form into something when it's born.
- 18:43Like all of the genetic traits are going to, you know, go
- 18:48throughout the whole life as soon as it starts gestating.
- 18:51So my thought process is it's like, what if, what if we could
- 18:56do genetic tests on fetuses? Like, what if somebody's like,
- 18:59oh, my kid has the gauging, I want to abort it or oh, my kid,
- 19:05oh, they're gonna, they're gonna have black hair.
- 19:08We're gonna keep trying until they have blonde hair or
- 19:11something like that. Like, I don't know.
- 19:14It's just I I think it's a person, but they don't have
- 19:17sentience. So it's it's not completely
- 19:21immoral, but I'm. I still am uncomfortable with it
- 19:25in most cases. Well, whether you believe it has
- 19:28a lot of experiences or intelligence, you believe what
- 19:31is being killed. Terminated is alive, right.
- 19:36Yeah, of course it's alive. Yeah.
- 19:39Well, shouldn't that be enough that something is alive?
- 19:43Yeah, I know, that's why. That's why I think it's a moral
- 19:46and it's a unique being. But I wouldn't want to pass any
- 19:53legislation against that, because what what tips the
- 19:57scales in my morality to be like this should be outlawed is when
- 20:03the fetus has some a certain stage of development.
- 20:08Where maybe there's things going on in the brain because, you
- 20:12know, mothers, they always, you know, play music, you know, on
- 20:16their stomachs and they say, oh, they can hear things and you
- 20:21know, they kick and stuff. But you know what?
- 20:24At the end of the day, I'm not a doctor, so I'm not going to try
- 20:27to think up of the perfect time the medical community is who
- 20:33should be regulating it. But I do at the end of the day,
- 20:36think it should be legal in some form.
- 20:41Well, like I told you earlier, even though I'm completely
- 20:44against it, I'm not going to stand in anybody's way if
- 20:48somebody thinks that there. Have you ever heard of a trans
- 20:51abled person before? No.
- 20:55They're people who fantasize about having their own limbs cut
- 20:58off. Some of them even think it would
- 21:01be arousing to have their head removed, even though it's
- 21:03explained to them they die. But there's people out there who
- 21:07actually fantasize about being disabled.
- 21:10Strange, isn't it? I've heard of body dysmorphia.
- 21:15I don't know if that's the proper term.
- 21:16I don't. I'm not a big expert on these
- 21:18things, but I I've heard, you know, there's some people who
- 21:21are like it. It just feels unnatural for me
- 21:24to, like, have my right arm. Like, it's it's unnatural.
- 21:28I don't like it. Like my life would feel like I
- 21:31would feel at ease if the arm were removed.
- 21:34I've. I've heard about that.
- 21:35But those are like really rare cases.
- 21:37Like, there's so many rare cases of weird things that us humans
- 21:41do. Yeah.
- 21:43There's been a few cases where some of these people have
- 21:46actually attempted to do it themselves.
- 21:50There's been incidences that. Let me let me ask you something
- 21:53before I get into any of that stuff.
- 21:56If somebody does have this issue where they want to lop off a
- 21:59limb or something because they're not comfortable with a
- 22:03body part or whatever, do you think that that's morally right?
- 22:09I don't know if it's morally right or I don't know if this is
- 22:12a moral issue. Maybe they could get a proper
- 22:16diagnosis because like I said, there are things like body
- 22:19dysmorphia. Where excuse me, where?
- 22:23I don't know, cuz I'm not an expert on this, it it should be
- 22:26left up to the medical community.
- 22:29Well what if you're one of your family members or a good friend
- 22:32came to you one day and said, look, I've got ants all over my
- 22:36arm, they're biting me. I don't like the IT feels so
- 22:39uncomfortable. Have my arm and they want it
- 22:42chopped off. You wouldn't try to say maybe
- 22:46there's something wrong with your brain.
- 22:47Yeah, of course I would. I would explore all the avenues,
- 22:51you know, talk to psychologists and psychiatrists.
- 22:55I don't know the difference between the two or, you know, a
- 22:57medical neuro specialist. But maybe if like in the end if
- 23:06maybe that's the only thing that could put their mind at ease.
- 23:09Like if as we exhausted every possibility, then I would just
- 23:15be happy that they finally got some relief.
- 23:23Do you feel the same way about folks who will turn around and
- 23:27say not only do I want to do something to myself because
- 23:30there are people who are suicidal as well as homicidal
- 23:34person says that they want to go do that to other people because
- 23:37it makes them uncomfortable who those people are at the moment.
- 23:43I'm sorry I I don't understand the question.
- 23:46What if a person turns their desire that they have for
- 23:51themselves on to other people instead of wanting to cut
- 23:54themselves up they decide they want to go cut up.
- 23:57You know whoever they can get a hold of.
- 24:00Would you be OK with that? Well of course not.
- 24:02You know everybody should have their own bodily autonomy.
- 24:06You know, I I actually think it's a little bit immoral to for
- 24:10parents to Pierce the ears of their children.
- 24:14Like that's a traumatic experience and the children
- 24:18doesn't really have, the child doesn't really have any say in
- 24:21the matter. So yeah, of course I'm against
- 24:23that. I was just curious.
- 24:27I've been seeing a lot of different stuff about.
- 24:30I don't know if you've seen some of my videos on people who've
- 24:33been detransitioning where they they don't what transgenders.
- 24:40Yeah, going backwards, basically going back to their original
- 24:44biological position. I've heard statistics, I I
- 24:50couldn't quote it offhand, but I've heard that it's a really
- 24:53low number of people detransition like maybe below
- 24:571%. But that's why we just need in
- 25:02America. Here, I'm just speaking as an
- 25:05American. We need proper medical care and
- 25:10psychological care. I just don't think, yeah, maybe
- 25:16in those cases where people detransition like they just
- 25:19didn't have proper medical care, well, that's something to think
- 25:25about for sure. Let me throw another question
- 25:28that you see what you think about this.
- 25:31Let's say that the country were to set up a vote system where
- 25:35people could vote if they wanted suicide clinics and every state
- 25:39of the United States of America, which meant all the way from 12
- 25:43years old and up, if you decided you did not want to exist, you
- 25:47no longer have to hang yourself or shoot yourself, you can just
- 25:49go to the clinic and they'll cancel you like they do fetuses.
- 25:56What would you say about that? Well, I I don't even.
- 26:01First off, I don't, I don't believe there should be too many
- 26:05different types of special clinics like, even like abortion
- 26:09clinics, Like why doesn't that just happen at the hospital?
- 26:13But to like as a medical procedure that you could pursue.
- 26:19I would think maybe I I would I would say only case cases of
- 26:26euthanasia like where where somebody has like a an incurable
- 26:31debilitating condition where that's it would be a mercy.
- 26:37I would I would be okay with that.
- 26:45Sorry about that my mic kind of not my mic but my mouse locked
- 26:50up. Did you have you been checking
- 26:52out this kind of stuff in the news?
- 26:54This is a I I'd like to hear your view on this where some
- 26:58people think it would be a good idea to make white people
- 27:02extinct. This guy says abolishing.
- 27:05He says that whiteness is a cancer and white people should
- 27:10be decimated. What your thoughts are now I I
- 27:15just think that's ridiculous in in my view.
- 27:19I would say that like maybe 200 years from now, we're like we're
- 27:25a global society. We're all just going to mix into
- 27:28one ethnicity anyway. So I I just think that's
- 27:32ridiculous. It's true.
- 27:39It's true. I think if we all were to go get
- 27:41our DNA checked out, none of us are pure breeds.
- 27:45I know for a fact that I'm a bit of a soup myself.
- 27:47I got a little bit of everything.
- 27:49Of the ingredients. Yeah, because did you know that
- 27:53originally Native Americans didn't have the gene for facial
- 27:56hair that was introduced when Europeans first came over?
- 28:04Well, that would explain one of my issues.
- 28:07And I've always wondered what the deal is.
- 28:09There's spots on my face that won't grow hair.
- 28:12Like, for instance, my, my beard does not connect to my goatee.
- 28:17I had to grow my mustache really long to make it appear as though
- 28:21it's actually connected. So you're saying it's like a
- 28:25what? What do I got to have in me
- 28:27native Indian, you said because I got Cherokee Indian in me.
- 28:30Oh, yeah. It's just all of the cultures of
- 28:34the Americas, I'm pretty sure. Because.
- 28:39Yeah, even like if you like, if if you look at, you know, quote
- 28:45UN quote, Hispanics, you know they they tend to have less
- 28:50facial hair. Like I I am Hispanic and I
- 28:53noticed like people's beards go up way higher or they might be a
- 28:57little bit thicker than me, like a Hispanic person, quote UN
- 29:03quote. Like those are people I believe
- 29:05who are just Native Americans mixed with Spaniards.
- 29:09So I think we we don't grow the best beards.
- 29:18Oh, here's another weird topic I've been looking at.
- 29:20You just taught me something new.
- 29:22Sir, I will tell you that I've always wondered why my face
- 29:25don't connect properly. I always just figured it was
- 29:28because I was ugly. But now I got a reason, like a
- 29:31genetic excuse. So this right here is talking
- 29:35about that transgender activists wanted to wear all children to
- 29:40be placed on puberty blockers until they decide their gender.
- 29:45How do you feel about that? All children.
- 29:48That's absolutely ridiculous. There's there's a fringe those.
- 29:53I think those people are fringe people.
- 29:55I don't think that's a good amount of people.
- 29:59But there's a fringe of of Americans or just people in the
- 30:04world who think that humans are just blank slates and like, oh,
- 30:11gender, you know, all of our societal things.
- 30:14Like people say you have to be one way.
- 30:16But I don't believe that. Like, I would say that there are
- 30:20definitely difference between the sexes.
- 30:23I'm I'm sick of gender. I don't know why people care
- 30:26about gender. But sexes 2, the two different
- 30:29sexes are different. Like we have different, we have
- 30:33different biologies. We have different levels of the
- 30:37hormones and they affect us in a certain way, but it does not
- 30:42define you. So like, I don't know.
- 30:47I just think people are too obsessed with gender, even
- 30:49transgender people. Like, I don't know why you even
- 30:54care. Like, personally, I know people
- 30:57would find this very insulting because I would kind of describe
- 31:02myself as a progressive guy, but I hate, I hate it when people
- 31:08need to find a group to identify with.
- 31:10I am a this like, I am a man. I am a woman.
- 31:15Like it's it doesn't really matter.
- 31:18Sure, like the sexes have little small differences that could
- 31:21affect you, but it's it doesn't mean you have to dress a certain
- 31:25way, doesn't mean you have to act a certain way.
- 31:28And I just think we just got to let that crap go.
- 31:33Yeah, it's really unusual. All my time of growing up in
- 31:38this world, being born in 1976, I remember having so many
- 31:43friends where I didn't know that they were even homosexual unless
- 31:46they said something. People didn't dramatize
- 31:49sexuality so much, but nowadays it seems like they say they want
- 31:54to adapt and be normal in society.
- 31:57But how can you do that if you're like going down a parade
- 32:01and making love to a imitation of Jesus Christ and right in
- 32:05front of children? What is that?
- 32:07What does that even mean? Yeah, people just get too
- 32:14obsessed with labels in every fashion.
- 32:18I would say that I forgot what I was.
- 32:24I'm going to say I'm sorry, I'm drinking too much E&J here.
- 32:27No, it's all good. My brains aren't oatmeal anyway,
- 32:31so it's all good. I have you sipping on anything,
- 32:34Brett. I'm sipping on some hot coffee,
- 32:37and earlier I had me some hot sauce wings.
- 32:41I think my wife went a little bit extreme on the sauce, so my
- 32:44tongue still on fire. Was it any particular brand?
- 32:49I think she got it from Walmart. Yeah, it's this Walmart hot
- 32:53sauce chicken. Nothing fancy.
- 32:55But boy, oh boy, the old tongue just isn't doing what it's doing
- 32:58anymore. You were you were saying in the
- 33:01beginning of the conversation. I always like to keep things
- 33:04kind of going. But yeah, he said.
- 33:07You don't like the idea of abortion.
- 33:09And you see that there's obviously value if there's
- 33:13experiences in some form of intelligence or interaction
- 33:16there. You did point out that you
- 33:18believe the living being, even as small as it is, can still
- 33:22fuel the vibes of what's going on in reality, right?
- 33:26Not necessarily, I would I say when when they reach a certain
- 33:29point of development, but I don't know what that development
- 33:33is. I'm not a doctor.
- 33:36Well, you've heard some of the arguments from people who are
- 33:39for it and all that. How do you feel about them
- 33:42saying because it hasn't had any experience or hasn't really
- 33:46thought anything to the extreme, it's okay.
- 33:49Does that mean that if we were, you and I were in a nursing home
- 33:52right now next to a paralyzed victim who can't speak or react
- 33:57or feel the same way? We can, but that means that we
- 34:00would have the right to abuse them, or even killed them.
- 34:04Of course that would be wrong, but that's a little bit
- 34:07different. Those are people who live long,
- 34:09full lives already. So what if the the person's a
- 34:15senior citizen? They don't even know who they
- 34:17used to be. They don't even know their own
- 34:18name anymore, does it? Yes, but they still have a body
- 34:22and they still feel pain. They they know what bad things
- 34:25are. Their brains know what bad
- 34:27things are. So I that would be completely
- 34:30immoral in my view, right? So just because someone's
- 34:35unconscious or paralyzed or maybe never even waking up
- 34:39again, it's not the greatest idea to just assist them and
- 34:43termination, whether they approve of it or not, right?
- 34:47Well, don't we have the technology to monitor brain
- 34:51activity? Because, you know, sometimes
- 34:53they say, oh, this person is brain dead, their neurons aren't
- 34:57firing in a way, a conscious person, neurons are firing.
- 35:02I think it's completely okay if, you know, a person is clinically
- 35:06brain dead, no higher activity. I think it's okay to to end
- 35:14their life and maybe use their or their organs to maybe save a
- 35:20child's life. Who is in danger of a need of a
- 35:24transplant. Yeah, I can agree with that.
- 35:28But what if you were to be told that this person's brain will
- 35:31begin functioning definitely at nine months?
- 35:37Well, if it will, we'll wait nine months.
- 35:40And if it doesn't happen, maybe it'll never happen.
- 35:44So maybe we should just like what?
- 35:48I don't know. Why keep a vegetable like who
- 35:50has no brain activity, like alive?
- 35:54Like, I I don't see the thought process behind you are a fan of
- 36:00Star Trek. Oh, I love Star Trek.
- 36:04I grew up as a Star Wars kid and I always thought Star Trek was
- 36:09boring. But I grew up and I actually
- 36:13start, actually, because a lot of Star Trek fans criticized
- 36:18these big Hollywood movies. You know, a lot of Star Trek
- 36:21fans criticized the 2009 JJ Abrams Star Trek movie.
- 36:28Like, oh, it was too actiony. It was too this or too that.
- 36:31But that's what got me interested.
- 36:33I'm like, oh, OK, Star Trek, like, there's going to be a big
- 36:36thing. Like, I'm going to check it out.
- 36:38I checked out the Original Series.
- 36:40And yeah, I I love the movie. Even though, like now, with
- 36:45hindsight, now that I've watched The Original Series and The Next
- 36:49Generation, yeah, JJ Abrams probably wasn't.
- 36:53That wasn't the best version of Star Trek.
- 36:55But I still like it and I appreciate it for introducing.
- 37:00That's good to hear. It sounds like you've had quite
- 37:03the education on the Star Trek for sure, so you did watch the
- 37:07older ones. There's a reason why I brought
- 37:09it up, not just because I wanted to hear a fellow fan of Star
- 37:12Trek, but I was wondering if you had ever seen the movies with
- 37:16William Shatner. There's one in particular I was
- 37:19going to bring up. See what you think I know of the
- 37:23movies. I only watched the 1st 2
- 37:27original series movies, but I'm online like I'm a big film
- 37:31fanatic. I I I hear people talking about
- 37:34the movies all the time. I know I got to watch them but
- 37:37there's just too much stuff to watch and our modern times like
- 37:41you could watch any movie ever and but yeah I should watch them
- 37:46but which film were you talking about.
- 37:48I believe it's called The Undiscovered Country or the
- 37:51Final Frontier something to that effect.
- 37:54It's after the whale 105 that's that's the that's the final
- 38:00front. I I don't.
- 38:02The Undiscovered Country is the 6th 1 and that's the last
- 38:05original cast one. See.
- 38:07Like I haven't watched them, but like I know a lot about them.
- 38:11Well I forget exactly what the name is but I know it's like the
- 38:145th or 6th one. I'll I'll I'll run it by the
- 38:17plot and then you'll probably know what I'm talking about.
- 38:20It's the one where they believe that they're being summoned by
- 38:25an alien that refers to itself as God.
- 38:30Yeah. Yeah that's that's the fifth
- 38:32one. I it might be called the final
- 38:35frontier. It's something along those
- 38:36lines. Well, and if you remember, it's
- 38:40not so much that the God part of the movie that really gets to
- 38:43me. It's a guy who's claiming to be
- 38:45Spock's brother as well as being a prophet of the Vulcan society
- 38:50or whatever. And he was banished.
- 38:53Well in the movie, he shows Captain Kirk, Bones and Spock
- 38:57what it was like in their worst memory they've ever had.
- 39:01You know, he does this thing where he brings them to peace.
- 39:04Well, you end up finding out that Bones, apparently his
- 39:08biological father was dying and his father requested for him to
- 39:13pull the plug on him. Well, Bones of course tries and
- 39:17tries to fight, but they don't come up with a cure and he ends
- 39:20up putting his father down, but he never forgives himself.
- 39:24They never told Kirk or Spock about this because two months
- 39:27after he put his father down there, a cure was found.
- 39:31The planets ended up finding a cure, and he was never able to.
- 39:35He felt like he killed his father for no reason.
- 39:38You see that one? I did not.
- 39:40Like I said, I only saw the 1st 2:00.
- 39:42But I know a lot about the movies.
- 39:44And Spock's brother's name is Cyboc.
- 39:47I know that. But I did not know about the
- 39:49McCoy plot. That's very interesting.
- 39:52I would have to say that, like you said, it was two months
- 39:58later. They found a cure.
- 40:00Yeah. Like it looks like a couple
- 40:03months. The idea was, is that he
- 40:06basically, if he would have waited a little bit longer, he
- 40:09would have been able to save his father from a a condition at the
- 40:13moment they thought was permanent.
- 40:16Yeah, I would. I would say, well, McCoy is the
- 40:21doctor. Like I said, I'm not a doctor,
- 40:24but I would say like who knows if his father would have been
- 40:30have survived 2 months? What if?
- 40:32What if he survived a month and two weeks and just suffered that
- 40:37whole time and it wouldn't have been worth it anyway.
- 40:39So like who's? Who's to say with these what
- 40:42ifs, you know, like what if this, what if that.
- 40:46I hear you, I hear you. It's just that it's interesting
- 40:50because we've got a lot of people out there.
- 40:52They're so quick to. You sound like a reasonable
- 40:55person who really puts a lot of thought in the stuff, but some
- 40:58people are so quick to make permanent decisions with their
- 41:01body or to others without putting any kind of rationale to
- 41:05it. And I get reminded of that by
- 41:08that movie. You know, if you just waited a
- 41:10little bit longer, it's kind of like that thing.
- 41:13Instead of jumping off the bridge, just give it a little
- 41:15bit longer. Things tend to change.
- 41:18There's always something that comes your way.
- 41:21Yeah, that's what's so great about Star Trek.
- 41:23It's so subversive and it makes you think about these things.
- 41:27But I do have to say though, that, you know, with the limited
- 41:32scientific knowledge of their time, like Star Trek is a little
- 41:36bit limited, by the way. Like, you know, with our current
- 41:41technology and, like our current ideas of science, we could say,
- 41:46like, why didn't Doctor McCoy just cryogenically freeze his
- 41:50father and then wait for a cure? Yeah, that's that's absolutely
- 41:57perfect. And then that in those movies
- 42:00they actually had the ability to put themselves to sleep for a
- 42:04long time in chambers and all that.
- 42:06That's a good point. Chaotic innovator says kids who
- 42:10experience symptoms of gender dysphoria should be put on
- 42:13testosterone blockers. Yes.
- 42:16Why is that? Because according to the medical
- 42:18field, which Drewski's already said that he pays attention to
- 42:21what they say. They say that gender dysphoria
- 42:24people usually in their adult teens, end up getting away from
- 42:29that and they are able to contain themselves in their
- 42:32position on where they how they were born.
- 42:35So if it's not something that's permanent, then why the rush to
- 42:39put the kids on pills? I was responding to some person
- 42:46out there. If it's not permanent, like you
- 42:49said, you know, with the other topic, you said, you know, just
- 42:52let it go on and let the life be what it is.
- 42:55If gender dysphoria is not crippling and it's not something
- 42:59that's permanent, why not just let it pass and let the the
- 43:02child's brain develop into what it's going to develop?
- 43:07Yeah, I I just think that a new light has been shed on this
- 43:11topic. I think, well, I I do have
- 43:15limited knowledge, but I do think more research needs to be
- 43:19done. We need to definitely do more
- 43:21research. But I know people are going to
- 43:23come at me. But like, I I would say that
- 43:26gender dysphoria, and I wouldn't even call it gender dysphoria
- 43:29because in my opinion, gender is a social construct.
- 43:35Sex. Like, I understand, like if if
- 43:38if you have some kind of body dysphoria like, oh, like having,
- 43:42you know, testosterone in a penis, like it feels wrong.
- 43:46Like, I get that. But I would just say that it's
- 43:51not a high priority because it it affects so little people and
- 43:58there are effective treatments for the people that it does
- 44:01affect. Like, of course, like maybe
- 44:03someday we could prevent it entirely.
- 44:06But I would say like definitely do more research, but we got to
- 44:11not put 100% into that. Like there's other things we got
- 44:15to worry about. How do you feel about this?
- 44:19If Americans were to get an extra bonus with their taxes,
- 44:24but they were to fill out a survey on the things that
- 44:26they're willing to endorse with their taxes and what they're
- 44:29not, do you think that should that would be fair for you to be
- 44:32able to pick what your taxes go to?
- 44:36Oh hell yeah dude, that would be awesome. 0 To the military and
- 44:42put all my money into education and the medical side because
- 44:51we're wasting so much money with the military.
- 44:54Like, why do we need to have hundreds of military bases
- 44:57across the world? Like if if Russia had military
- 45:01bases across the world, people would be like, Oh my God, blah,
- 45:04blah, blah. And they wouldn't shut up.
- 45:06Like. And you know like I've heard
- 45:09that the the Pentagon has failed so many military audits and
- 45:16they're they're stories like where like.
- 45:19Like little machining parts and stuff like that might cost $25.
- 45:25It's like, oh, it's $10,000 and they just it's it's all just a
- 45:28racket. So yeah, I did.
- 45:30There's definitely some things I do not want my money going
- 45:33towards. And I, as a taxpayer paying
- 45:37taxes since I was working like all my money with like the
- 45:42majority of my money went to the military.
- 45:45Like, I I I don't like that at all.
- 45:49Yeah, I don't like it either. They're trying to get it to
- 45:51where at least in America, where people are paying for people to
- 45:55do this, what they call health, you know, for themselves to
- 45:59remove body parts and limbs. And I know what you said
- 46:02earlier, but it's such a small statistic of people who are
- 46:06detransitioning. Well, it seems like it's within
- 46:09the last five years at this like epidemic is exploded where
- 46:14everybody seems to feel like there's something else or
- 46:16they're not even a human anymore.
- 46:19You got other kins who think they're animals, people who
- 46:22fantasize about being disabled. I think that you're right.
- 46:25I think that they should do more therapeutic stuff.
- 46:28They should research it more before we start pulling out the
- 46:31butcher knife. Yeah, I would definitely say
- 46:35stuff like other kin is fucking ridiculous.
- 46:39Like those the people who claim to be other kin.
- 46:43I would love to see statistics on ages about that because
- 46:47they're probably children who, you know, their parents gave
- 46:52them a tablet. Oh, here's unlimited Internet
- 46:55access. Now leave me alone.
- 46:57I'm going in the other room. And it's psychologically
- 47:00damaging. That's why, you know the first
- 47:03thing I asked you about the Internet porn thing, It's like,
- 47:06I think parents should be responsible.
- 47:09For what? Like a parent can't just give
- 47:13their child unlimited Internet access and just expect the
- 47:17government to regulate it. Oh, the government will parent
- 47:20your kids. You have to parent your own
- 47:22kids. You need to know what they're
- 47:24doing. And I I would say that giving a
- 47:29child unlimited access it's it's it's basically equal to letting
- 47:34your child leave the house go wherever they want and come back
- 47:39whenever they want Like oh Oh my, my 13 year old kid I just
- 47:44let them you know he's he's going to go with some friends
- 47:48he'll be back in a week. Like, no, if your child is gone
- 47:52and you don't hear from them in a week and you don't call child
- 47:56or you don't, you don't put in a missing persons report like that
- 48:02is child endangerment. And I believe you know there's
- 48:06so much child endangerment when it comes to the Internet
- 48:10nowadays and that has caused a lot of problems.
- 48:15I agree with you. Sorry for not having you up on
- 48:17the big screen earlier. Get a lot of atheists.
- 48:20For some reason I I enjoy having good conversations like you and
- 48:25I I feel that we are having, but some people want to show me
- 48:28their penis or their breast for some reason.
- 48:31I I don't know, maybe it's the talk about porn that gets people
- 48:34aroused and excited and the zoo begins.
- 48:37So personally I I know some people out there think this is
- 48:41weird, but I really don't care if somebody decides to get
- 48:44naked. Adam and Eve were born that way.
- 48:46But the problem is, is YouTube isn't quite the fan that I am.
- 48:50So sorry. Well, I I would just have to say
- 48:56don't worry. I will never show my breasts on
- 48:58the Internet. I'm a portly man.
- 49:02Well, that's respectful of you. You sound like a you sound like
- 49:06a very moral person, if you don't mind me asking something
- 49:10without offending you. Where do you get this moral
- 49:14backbone, this desire to value life from, if you don't mind me
- 49:18asking? Well, first of all, I would have
- 49:22to say that morality comes from empathy, from understanding what
- 49:28a person is going through, because I am a human.
- 49:31We're all humans on this planet and I don't want anybody to feel
- 49:35the bad things that I've felt throughout my life.
- 49:37And part of that I know it's kind of corny, but I grew up
- 49:44with superheroes, like superheroes like Spiderman.
- 49:47And later on I grew in a like only in my adulthood I grew an
- 49:54appreciation for Superman. In my opinion, Superman is my
- 49:58second favorite superhero next to Spiderman.
- 50:01But they they all have this strong moral compass.
- 50:05And they they have, you know, with great power comes great
- 50:09responsibility. But it's like they do have the
- 50:11ability to help people. And if you choose not to help
- 50:15people with whatever power you have, that's immoral in my view.
- 50:22Well, I agree with you obviously on that.
- 50:24I feel like your observation of all this is absolutely fair and
- 50:28reasonable. But sometimes in this world you
- 50:32can get really far in life. You can get a lot of things you
- 50:35desire if you just simply said, ah, the hell with empathy and
- 50:38feeling guilt and regret. Like for instance, if you knew
- 50:42that there was some little old lady that lived up on a hill in
- 50:45a forest where nobody even knows about her but you, you find out
- 50:48that she's got a bunch of treasure in her house.
- 50:51Why would you stop yourself from kicking in her door, putting her
- 50:54down? She wouldn't be found for months
- 50:56or years. And take the money for yourself
- 50:58to benefit your tribe. Of course, I I would never do
- 51:04that personally. And I I think everybody needs
- 51:07protected. Like I mentioned earlier in the
- 51:09discussion, bodily autonomy. You can't hurt anybody else
- 51:14against their will. And I know what it feels like to
- 51:18be physically hurt. I don't.
- 51:19I don't want anybody else to be hurt.
- 51:22We should. Yeah.
- 51:23Also, you know, you mentioned Star Trek.
- 51:26My future vision of humanity should be Star Trek.
- 51:30We should all live comfortable lives and not just try and take
- 51:34and take and take and take And sometimes taking indirectly
- 51:40hurts a great amount of people. A whole lot.
- 51:45If you don't mind, have you ever watched a show called Cross
- 51:48Examine that's on YouTube? No, I've never heard of it
- 51:52actually. I know there's this religious
- 51:55philosopher that invites people of all different religions or
- 51:59non beliefs that come in and question him while he's on
- 52:02stage. He's like a teacher.
- 52:04What is it? I think his name's Frank Turek
- 52:07is what his name is. But he just to get into this a
- 52:12little bit, before you became an atheist, were you a former
- 52:16Christian? Were you raised up with the
- 52:18philosophy of Do unto others as you want done under yourself?
- 52:21In the gold role? I would say that I was a
- 52:26Christian. My mother was never religious,
- 52:32but my father was, and they were divorced before I could even
- 52:37remember. And for a couple of years I
- 52:41would visit my father in the summertime, and we would always
- 52:44go to church. But I ain't never heard no do
- 52:49unto others. I have never heard anything like
- 52:51that. Like when I went to church, they
- 52:53would just say you gotta fear God and you gotta do what God
- 52:56tells you, and this is what God tells you.
- 52:59But I I actually became an atheist because, like for a
- 53:06while in my teenage years, I just didn't really think about
- 53:09it. When I was a small kid, maybe up
- 53:12to 10 years old, I would still pray every night because because
- 53:18that's what my dad taught me and but he never taught me any moral
- 53:24lessons. It's it was just all about this
- 53:27God figure and like you got to do good and then you'll get into
- 53:32heaven. It was very selfish notion.
- 53:35But somewhere in my teenage years I heard God or Jesus
- 53:41compared to Santa Claus. I'm like, Oh yeah, Oh yeah, that
- 53:45makes sense because when I was a little kid, everybody told me
- 53:47there was Santa Claus and also everybody told me there was
- 53:50Jesus. There sure as fuck ain't no
- 53:52Santa Claus. So why the hell would there be a
- 53:56Jesus and what the fuck am I doing?
- 53:59Well, as far as Santa Claus goes, and I've brought this up,
- 54:02the there's very few non believers that seem to realize
- 54:05this, but Santa actually existed.
- 54:08His story is exaggerated, but there was in fact the Saint
- 54:11Nick. So perhaps maybe there was a
- 54:14Jesus, and maybe some of the things Christians say nowadays
- 54:17might be a little off putting. But he also existed as well.
- 54:21There's actually more evidence for him than some presidents.
- 54:24We have the United States. That's pretty funny.
- 54:28But I don't, I don't know if I would say that necessarily
- 54:31because the history of Christianity is grafting itself
- 54:38on to Pagan beliefs. Like you know, of course Jesus
- 54:44was not born on December 25th like that was they used
- 54:49Christianity to graft on to somebody's previous beliefs to
- 54:53get the ball rolling to get them to be Christians.
- 54:57So I would say that there were previous.
- 55:01I remember I was watching the Joe Rogan Experience.
- 55:04He had somebody on talking about like stuff like this.
- 55:09Like you said, you know, like the Santa wears red and white.
- 55:13And you know there was a red and white psychedelic mushroom that
- 55:18reindeer would eat and shit out and like then it would have
- 55:27psychotropic properties. And so, like, I just think, you
- 55:31know, the whole Saint Nicholas thing like peyote.
- 55:34I don't know because it was in Europe.
- 55:36I don't know if peyote is in Europe, but I I just know that,
- 55:40you know, Christians take every chance they get to graft their
- 55:45mythology onto somebody else's mythology to convert them.
- 55:52And I don't know. I'm not down with that.
- 55:53Do you believe that? Because the religions out there,
- 55:56a lot of them have the same, like, similarity to them.
- 55:59They have a lot of patterns to them.
- 56:02I was thinking that like, but, well, in the end it's just the
- 56:08people in power want more power. And you know, Christianity rose
- 56:13in power. I mean, like there were a
- 56:16million. I'm just being exaggerated.
- 56:19I'm just exaggerating. But there's a ton of religions
- 56:22way before Christianity that, you know, Christianity actually
- 56:28took some things from. I'm, I'm actually a horrible
- 56:31person because I have a whole bookshelf over there.
- 56:34I'm I'm very interested in the concept of religion.
- 56:37And I I actually bought the Mahabharata.
- 56:40I have I have a Quran back there.
- 56:44I have you know, Zoroastrianism. I had that book over there, but
- 56:50I had, that's what Fred Mercury from the band Queen Bleed then
- 56:53that's a really old religion right there.
- 56:56Oh yeah, actually because my wife and I, we we actually saw
- 56:59that Queen movie. I forget oh, Bohemian Rhapsody.
- 57:03And yeah she didn't even. My wife is from Iran and like we
- 57:10didn't know that his family was Indian.
- 57:12Parsi, Parsi, it's it's like Iranian basically people who
- 57:17migrated from Iran. So I didn't know that until that
- 57:21movie. That movie is fucking great, by
- 57:23the way. Yeah, I ended up buying it when
- 57:26it first came out. It probably should have waited a
- 57:28couple weeks, you know, like Bones did with his father,
- 57:31because it went down in price immensely.
- 57:34Great movie though. Oh, I also got to say because my
- 57:37wife and I, we got together in Istanbul and I got to say us
- 57:42Americans are getting robbed. Like America's way too rife with
- 57:48capitalism. When like we love to go to the
- 57:52movies in Istanbul and every single movie.
- 57:57When you go to the movies in Istanbul, there's an
- 57:59intermission. You can take a break, go to the
- 58:01bathroom. I remember I saw Avengers end
- 58:05game and I was laughing at all these posts in on Facebook and
- 58:11stuff or people like, oh, you're going to have to wear a diaper
- 58:13because you don't want to miss single second and I'm like
- 58:16bitch, I'm in Istanbul, I'm just wait till the intermission and I
- 58:19can go take a leak. Kind of interesting question for
- 58:25you. Do you believe that the universe
- 58:28is a scientist, say over 200 billion light years across that
- 58:32there could literally be over billions of planets that are
- 58:36even inhabitable or that we could live on?
- 58:41I wouldn't say, I believe, I would say it's probable because
- 58:45I'm not a scientist. Again, I'm not a scientist, but
- 58:49history has shown that our science has evolved.
- 58:53So maybe in 100 years we'll believe something different
- 58:57about the universe. But my question is, you know,
- 59:00SETI, the search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence.
- 59:05I'm not sure the name. You'll have to remind me.
- 59:08Like I said, my brain's oatmeal. But go ahead.
- 59:10Oh, but we. We have this program called
- 59:13SETI, the Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence.
- 59:17They have these big arrays that like search the cosmos for
- 59:23different signals, and we haven't.
- 59:26I believe it's it got underway like in the early 90s, maybe the
- 59:3180s, but we haven't found a single alien signal.
- 59:38I know, I don't know if you know about UFO's, but I grew up
- 59:42watching stuff about UFO's. There was somebody who thought
- 59:45he found an intelligent signal and it was called the Wow
- 59:49symbol. I I don't remember when that
- 59:52was. It might have been in the 60s,
- 59:54but I don't know. If there is other life out
- 59:58there. Why haven't we found their
- 1:00:00signals if we've been searching for like 30 years?
- 1:00:04Well, there are some things like on science.com where they're
- 1:00:08claiming they're getting a radio signal from off in the distance,
- 1:00:12and it's not a like human made or anything like that.
- 1:00:15And there's been a lot of stuff in the mainstream media, even
- 1:00:18though I don't really believe hardly anything I hear on it.
- 1:00:21But they show footage and I show where military people actually
- 1:00:26caught these, I guess unidentified flying objects all
- 1:00:30over the place. So but my point was do you
- 1:00:34believe obviously you said it's probable that there are worlds
- 1:00:38like that. They even claim that we can see
- 1:00:40them with their telescopes, planets that are actually what
- 1:00:43they think to be in better condition than the Earth.
- 1:00:46So my question is how probable do you think it is there is
- 1:00:50other life out there. Are you are you one of these
- 1:00:53folks who are trapped by the Fermi Paradox?
- 1:00:57I definitely think the Fermi Paradox is interesting, but I
- 1:01:00just I have been obsessed with UFO since I was a child.
- 1:01:05I would watch The History Channel before Ancient Aliens.
- 1:01:08They would have a show called UFO Files like in the early
- 1:01:122000s. Like I would I would absorb
- 1:01:15every amount of information about UF O's and I would say
- 1:01:18like you can't just write that off.
- 1:01:20There's there's something going on.
- 1:01:23It might not be aliens from other planets.
- 1:01:26It might be humans from the future.
- 1:01:28It might be aliens from a different dimension.
- 1:01:32There's definitely, I wouldn't say I believe because the thing
- 1:01:37I hate most, I hate it's so smug.
- 1:01:40People say I, I, I don't think that, you know, they would say,
- 1:01:45oh I I believe that there's definitely other life in the
- 1:01:48universe, but I don't believe that they have ever visited
- 1:01:53Earth. And and then it's like you you
- 1:01:56say you believe that, but then why haven't we heard their
- 1:01:59signals with setting like I I said earlier, like I don't know.
- 1:02:05Well, even though you haven't experienced a lot just because
- 1:02:09of what you do know, your knowledge of science, if it can
- 1:02:13happen here, then there's a good probability could probably
- 1:02:15happen on any one of these type of worlds, right?
- 1:02:18Life could exist. I wouldn't say it could happen
- 1:02:21on any type of world. Like, it's it's definitely
- 1:02:24possible that we are the only life in the universe and it was
- 1:02:28just something that happened. Because there's so many crazy
- 1:02:32different things that can happen.
- 1:02:33Like there's so many different crazy things that happen on
- 1:02:36Earth. Like with the just with all of
- 1:02:40the material that we have on Earth, who knows how many
- 1:02:42materials there are out there. Who knows how many materials?
- 1:02:46Like, like, we still don't really know how life, excuse me,
- 1:02:52how life emerged, but I think there's being breakthroughs on
- 1:02:57that. But I'm not sure of anything.
- 1:03:01But I definitely believe that a lot of these UF O's stories are
- 1:03:05really credible. The Bob Lazar story is
- 1:03:10incredibly believable, but nothing is 100%.
- 1:03:17I got an interesting question for you, and it kind of goes
- 1:03:20back to what we all started off with.
- 1:03:23Let's say that you and I were hanging out near a field and we
- 1:03:27see a meteorite hit the Earth. A small one.
- 1:03:30Not enough to, you know, knock us on our tail in, but
- 1:03:33definitely enough to quake the ground a little bit.
- 1:03:35It's that big. So you and I, we go over towards
- 1:03:38the meteorite and we notice, like there's some kind of
- 1:03:41organic material. It appears to be alive.
- 1:03:44It appears to be as though it has the potential to feel.
- 1:03:48And I look over at you and I say this could be one of the
- 1:03:51greatest experiences that humanity ever had.
- 1:03:54But you know what? I'm going to just step on it.
- 1:03:57I'm going to stomp it. What would you say to me if I
- 1:04:00were to say I'm going to take it out because it's not developed
- 1:04:02enough? I would tell you don't fucking
- 1:04:05touch it. Have you ever seen the movie The
- 1:04:07BLOB? That's how the BLOB happened.
- 1:04:10Oh yeah, yeah, I touched The BLOB and it fucked up a whole
- 1:04:14city. Why?
- 1:04:16I completely agree with that. And that would definitely be a
- 1:04:20good reason not to step on it. But the point is, is that this
- 1:04:23is something that is innocent and capable of defending itself,
- 1:04:27and if I stomp on it, it's not going to bite my toes off.
- 1:04:31That's the hypothetical. OK, I would say I don't know
- 1:04:39because I would say like maybe we just need to learn more about
- 1:04:44this, but you know, the government does so much shady
- 1:04:48shit. But I don't know.
- 1:04:53This is. I would say we would have,
- 1:04:56because I guess that kind of reminds me of The Day The Earth
- 1:05:00Stood Still. Have you ever seen the original
- 1:05:0350s film? Yeah, actually.
- 1:05:05Think a lot of the older films before all the reboots and
- 1:05:09remakes were actually better. Yeah, but remember what happens?
- 1:05:14UFO lands on the White House lawn and they fucking shoot the
- 1:05:19alien that walks out and it causes a big kerfuffle to say
- 1:05:24the least. I would say maybe us country
- 1:05:28bumpkins aren't the ones who should be interacting with this.
- 1:05:31Maybe we should get an expert. Yeah, because we take out
- 1:05:36something like that. That could just be a small ship
- 1:05:39and there's a mother ship up above us that can wipe us all
- 1:05:42out. Yeah.
- 1:05:43People are so quick to shoot and ask questions later for sure.
- 1:05:47My point was it was kind of back to our value on life Question
- 1:05:51though and your thoughts on abortion.
- 1:05:53I find it interesting that if I were to ask most nonbelievers or
- 1:05:57even some religious people, would it be okay if I stomp the
- 1:06:00life that I know nothing about into the ground and kill it.
- 1:06:05But some people, they'll put a less value on a human fetus.
- 1:06:11I would say any life is precious but you know there are other
- 1:06:18lives sometimes in the cases of abortion that that contradict
- 1:06:25other lives like you know there's there's a lot of times
- 1:06:28like pregnancy complications could kill the mother.
- 1:06:35So in that case you know definitely preserve the mother's
- 1:06:40life first so but you know in your in your hypothetical
- 1:06:46scenario I would say like this is the life like this could like
- 1:06:50this life that crashed could be like a baby life form like like
- 1:06:56I definitely for sure like because like I said I don't know
- 1:07:00the regulations what should happen around abortion but like
- 1:07:04definitely after birth is definitely and more it's
- 1:07:08definitely should be illegal to kill a baby after birth.
- 1:07:12So, like, I don't know if this life form could be a fucking
- 1:07:15baby. Like, all right, I got another
- 1:07:19weird question for you. You have had an opportunity to
- 1:07:23read some of the Bible, or you've probably had lots of
- 1:07:26conversations before me with folks who are considering
- 1:07:29themselves spiritual or theistic, right?
- 1:07:33Yeah. I personally haven't read the
- 1:07:36Bible or I haven't read any of the Bible.
- 1:07:38But I've, you know, I've seen different Bible passages.
- 1:07:41I've heard people talk about the Bible and tried to, you know,
- 1:07:45get more clarification on it. But I do in my bookshelf of
- 1:07:49books where, like, I've only read 10% of the books.
- 1:07:53I do have, you know, the Thomas Jefferson, the moral guides and
- 1:07:59teachings of Jesus Christ, where it's it's not a Bible, but it's
- 1:08:03like, here's the morality of Jesus, like in a little thing
- 1:08:07without any of the divine stuff. I hadn't read that either.
- 1:08:13So from what you do know, though, I'm, I'm pretty sure you
- 1:08:16probably got the classic idea of what it is.
- 1:08:19Whenever Christians or anybody of any faith claims that there's
- 1:08:22some kind of God, how do you usually envision that everybody
- 1:08:26kind of imagines up a picture in their head when you think of
- 1:08:30something that basically created the world and existence in life,
- 1:08:35how do you envision this thing? Well, this is a fictional thing.
- 1:08:40And I would just say that, you know, all of the fictional
- 1:08:44depictions like, I guess, you know, like God was in an episode
- 1:08:49of Family Guy, whatever. It's it's that, I guess because
- 1:08:52I don't believe in it and it's in my opinion, it's just
- 1:08:55something somebody made-up. All right, well, it's fair
- 1:09:00enough. But what I'm trying to get you
- 1:09:02the envision here, and I'm sure if I bring up anything, you'll
- 1:09:06either take imagery from things you seen in television shows,
- 1:09:10movies, fictional stories, whatever you want.
- 1:09:12But from what you get, if we were to describe God as a
- 1:09:16character, where did he exist before the world came into
- 1:09:21existence? According to all the stories
- 1:09:23you've ever heard, the similarities, I guess using my
- 1:09:28logical brain, I would say he came from a higher plane of
- 1:09:32existence, like a higher dimension in science or maybe a
- 1:09:38different universe. Because you know, I I grew up
- 1:09:41with comic books and you know Tang the Conqueror is the big
- 1:09:45villain and Marvel and apparently there was a
- 1:09:48multiversal war. But he has an extreme, the
- 1:09:53highest scientific mind a human could have, but he's just from a
- 1:09:58different universe. So maybe somebody like that came
- 1:10:02from another universe to a developing universe and had the
- 1:10:08know how to make what he wanted. You know, in a lot of fictional
- 1:10:14movies we watch, there's a lot of technology that didn't exist
- 1:10:18before that has, strangely, humans have been able to create
- 1:10:22things that were once fictional. I'm curious, you said earlier
- 1:10:26that you're a fan of Superman. You weren't always a big fan,
- 1:10:29but you are so the Henry Cavill version of Superman.
- 1:10:34I don't know if you remember, but Zod used a machine.
- 1:10:37I forget what it was called, but it had the ability to terraform.
- 1:10:41Do you believe that if there are intelligent aliens out there
- 1:10:44that they could possibly have the technology to terraform or
- 1:10:47create a world? Oh yeah, that's definitely
- 1:10:51possible. But I would say, you know, if
- 1:10:54you go to a planet, and even if there's like a little speck of
- 1:10:59life, like, you know, in the final episode of Star Trek The
- 1:11:03Next Generation, Q takes the card back to Earth and it's the
- 1:11:08primordial ooze that makes life. If you go to that and try to
- 1:11:15terraform the whole planet, I would say that's immoral.
- 1:11:19But definitely, if there are aliens who can travel across the
- 1:11:25cosmos, they definitely have the technology to terraform planets.
- 1:11:32So you what you're saying here is that you believe that the
- 1:11:35technology is possible to create worlds.
- 1:11:38When you describe God, you describe him as a character who
- 1:11:41didn't originally inhabit Earth, that he was from somewhere else,
- 1:11:46perhaps even another universe or multiverse.
- 1:11:48If we go with modern day comic books, movies, right.
- 1:11:53So you kind of you, you do realize that you're kind of
- 1:11:56describing God and your vision as an alien, something that is
- 1:12:01not of this world? Yeah, I guess that's a good
- 1:12:04description because you know, alien just means from somewhere
- 1:12:09else. Because you know here in our in
- 1:12:12America, illegal aliens, they're alien to America and they're
- 1:12:17coming in like something alien from our universe or our
- 1:12:21dimension or our plain of existence.
- 1:12:25Something came here like if you know, hypothetically whatever
- 1:12:31God people believe in, like that would be the only logical
- 1:12:36approach to that. In the show Star Trek, it became
- 1:12:41very popular. Have you ever heard of the Prime
- 1:12:43Directive before? Yes, actually that's that's a
- 1:12:48part of my my own personal conspiracy theory where as I've
- 1:12:54said, SETI, the search for Extraterrestrial intelligence
- 1:12:59has been probing all of our sky to search for signals.
- 1:13:06So I I believe in my conspiracy theory that the prime something
- 1:13:11like the Prime Directive exists and it's like, oh, OK, we we
- 1:13:16can't let any of our signals, we can't let any other signals come
- 1:13:23to Earth. That's what I think.
- 1:13:25I know. It's crazy.
- 1:13:27So if you were a human being living in the future on one of
- 1:13:31these enterprises or ships, and you have the ability to actually
- 1:13:36go down on a planet with a bunch of primitive people, would you
- 1:13:39do like that movie that you talked about earlier?
- 1:13:42Would you land the spaceship right on their capital?
- 1:13:46Or would you disguise yourself as one of them so you can go
- 1:13:50down and have conversations, learn about them and teach them
- 1:13:54things? Oh, that's that's another
- 1:13:58because I respect the prime directive of Star Trek.
- 1:14:01Do not interfere with lower developed worlds like who will
- 1:14:06eventually come into the intergalactic or interplanetary
- 1:14:11space. There was an episode of Star
- 1:14:14Trek where they were monitoring a world from afar and they
- 1:14:20discovered it was called the First Contact.
- 1:14:24Riker goes down to the planet to monitor it because they're just
- 1:14:29on the tip of discover, of discovering warp technology.
- 1:14:34So it's like we got to suss these guys out because they're
- 1:14:37going to they're they're just so close to getting warped.
- 1:14:41So then they're going to encounter every other species
- 1:14:45anyway. So we just got to be prepared.
- 1:14:49So I would definite, I would definitely say it's if I had the
- 1:14:55Enterprise, I would not interfere in any lower developed
- 1:15:02civilizations. But you know, definitely you got
- 1:15:06to use your technology to monitor them from afar.
- 1:15:09So like maybe maybe they're on the cusp of having their own
- 1:15:14enterprise, we got to know that. But if they're not, we got to
- 1:15:17just leave them alone and let them do their own thing.
- 1:15:21See, it's interesting. You're open to all these
- 1:15:23different things. I I don't understand why you
- 1:15:27would I I know this is going to come off weird, but with all the
- 1:15:30open possibilities that you have in your mind, you sound more
- 1:15:34theistic or agnostic than an actual atheist.
- 1:15:37You sound like you believe in possibilities that you don't
- 1:15:40lack the belief. How so?
- 1:15:45How would I how would I sound theistic?
- 1:15:48I'm just. I'm just being logical in my
- 1:15:51view. Well, that's how I I agree with
- 1:15:54you. I think what all that stuff that
- 1:15:55you said is very logical and rational, but everything that
- 1:16:00you said is exactly the same kind of view I have towards
- 1:16:03theism. I see God is something that is
- 1:16:06not of this world. I don't see him as like some
- 1:16:08kind of Santa Claus character, but something that has the
- 1:16:11ability, the technology and the intelligence to do this.
- 1:16:15And he's following a prime directive.
- 1:16:17You just you went along with them.
- 1:16:19Was everything that I believe. I I didn't go along with it.
- 1:16:22I said I I I went along with your hypothetical situation.
- 1:16:26If there was a God, I I I said it's possible a higher level
- 1:16:32being from a different plane of existence could come here and
- 1:16:36create life. But who created that life?
- 1:16:41Like it's it's it's just going to be an endless like who
- 1:16:44created the 15th dimension? Who created the 4th dimensional
- 1:16:49life? Who like I I just don't think
- 1:16:53that it's plausible. I think it's possible, like in
- 1:16:57in an imaginary scenario, but I don't believe in any higher
- 1:17:02powers or gods or anything like that.
- 1:17:06But you believe in the probability of superior forces
- 1:17:10and intelligence that is greater than our own has the ability to
- 1:17:14do the prime directive. That's not against the ability
- 1:17:17of something superior to us, right?
- 1:17:19Yeah, definitely. But like, if you look at an
- 1:17:21episode of Star Trek, I forget what it's called, the episode
- 1:17:28where Data, he establishes radio contact with a child.
- 1:17:33I believe it was in the first or second season and their planet
- 1:17:37was being undergoing volcanic over volcanic activity and the
- 1:17:44the planet was going to die. And the moral conundrum is like,
- 1:17:49you know, we have the Prime Directive.
- 1:17:51Like we can't interfere with lower civilizations.
- 1:17:56Like, you know, if if their planet, you know, just all
- 1:18:00volcanically erupts, like that's the natural course of the
- 1:18:04planet. But that doesn't mean that the
- 1:18:06Enterprise created the life. You know, what would you do if
- 1:18:13you had the knowledge of what is moving forward or you were a
- 1:18:17being that lived outside of time And you could tell that whatever
- 1:18:21you choose to do to help the people, even though they're
- 1:18:24primitive, they could turn out better in the end and actually
- 1:18:29help out your federation and the process.
- 1:18:32If you just let them continue to, how shall we say, evolve?
- 1:18:36Would you do it if you had the knowledge that it would all be
- 1:18:39beneficial? Everything has a butterfly
- 1:18:44effect, I would say. You know what?
- 1:18:46I'm I'm not completely opposed to that as as long as because
- 1:18:51there's another episode of Star Trek The Next Generation.
- 1:18:53It's called Who Watches the Watchers, where there is a
- 1:18:58station on the planet and they're observing this proto
- 1:19:02Vulcan civilization. Like they are basically
- 1:19:05medieval. Like, I I guess maybe like 12th
- 1:19:12century our time or maybe even lower than that.
- 1:19:18But they're there to observe. But something goes awry.
- 1:19:25People, certain people on that planet discover, Oh my God, like
- 1:19:30there's like this station and there's like people like who can
- 1:19:34get beamed up and like, oh, is this God.
- 1:19:37So, like, I would say, like, maybe we can interfere in a
- 1:19:40lower civilization, but we would just have to do it disguised.
- 1:19:44Because after they make that mistake, Riker and Troy go to
- 1:19:49the planet disguised as these aliens and they're like, oh,
- 1:19:53that's just a bunch of bullshit. Like, oh, that's like all those
- 1:19:56old, like you're trying to say this is some old religious shit,
- 1:20:00like, no, like that didn't happen.
- 1:20:02Like, so I I would say, like, I'm not completely against the
- 1:20:06idea of disguising ourselves and going to a lower civilization
- 1:20:11and trying to nudge them, just nudge them a little bit.
- 1:20:14Just. You know, disguise ourselves,
- 1:20:17pretend to be them. And you know, put a little
- 1:20:19suggestion like maybe you shouldn't sacrifice people to
- 1:20:24the sun God. Like, maybe that's a little
- 1:20:26crazy, but never announce ourselves.
- 1:20:32That's fair enough. What do you think would happen?
- 1:20:35Just a hypothetical. And they probably covered this
- 1:20:37in Star Trek as well. That's one of the great things
- 1:20:40about the show. But if you knew of like a alien
- 1:20:45race or something, maybe it could be humans from the future.
- 1:20:48We could go with any one of those hypotheticals.
- 1:20:50But let's say a group of people who are from space, they go down
- 1:20:56to Japan, and then 100 years they go down to China, and then
- 1:21:00a few years later they go from a different country to country.
- 1:21:03Do you think that everybody in the world would have the exact
- 1:21:06same name as far as language goes for the entity that they
- 1:21:11see come out of the sky? Well, no, of course not, because
- 1:21:15each different culture has their own different language and it
- 1:21:19would be interpreted, it would be interpreted differently.
- 1:21:23So it's possible, you know, that's that's one thing with
- 1:21:28this recent we might have mentioned it earlier, maybe not.
- 1:21:31But you know, there was a big government hearing.
- 1:21:34There was YouTube videos like some guy went on when in
- 1:21:37Congress and was talking about UFO's, blah, blah, blah.
- 1:21:41But if you're fanatic like me and followed UFO's like for a
- 1:21:45long time in the history, like there's I, I definitely think
- 1:21:50that aliens, you know, people say aliens, they think they mean
- 1:21:58people from another world, but it's just alien to us.
- 1:22:02Like, I definitely believe there have been influences not of this
- 1:22:06Earth all throughout history, going back thousands of years.
- 1:22:11So I definitely think announcing yourself as a higher being is
- 1:22:19immoral. But trying to nudge a situation,
- 1:22:23trying to nudge a civilization disguised, completely disguised,
- 1:22:28that, I think that's fine, that's fair enough.
- 1:22:33See a lot of the things that you say.
- 1:22:35I know it's kind of weird for you to hear it.
- 1:22:37Nobody's ever told you this, but you have a lot of you're open to
- 1:22:41a lot of theistic ideas. This is kind of how I see it.
- 1:22:44I see it as God is like a extradimensional type of entity,
- 1:22:50a power source. But I also see him as a prime
- 1:22:53mover where there's no regression before him.
- 1:22:57I wouldn't call like, like I said, I wouldn't call it a
- 1:22:59theistic idea because in the scenarios I just talked about,
- 1:23:04it was about a higher civilization coming to visit our
- 1:23:07civilization. Because, you know, the universe
- 1:23:11is like 14 billion years old. And like it's definitely
- 1:23:17possible. You know other life was you know
- 1:23:21grew out there and exploring the cosmos for who knows how many
- 1:23:27billions of years cuz if the universe is 14 billion years
- 1:23:32old. What if what if there was a
- 1:23:36civilization that developed like like 2 billion years into the
- 1:23:43universe? Just billions of years.
- 1:23:46You have the capability and technology to explore the
- 1:23:49universe and you can influence it in certain ways.
- 1:23:52Like that's definitely possible but I I am not theistic.
- 1:23:55It's as, as I said, it's a it's a paradox.
- 1:24:01If if a God created us, who created that God and who created
- 1:24:06that God? Like life is a natural thing.
- 1:24:10Life started somewhere. Certainly maybe it it could have
- 1:24:14been influenced by another life. But that life came out, came
- 1:24:19about naturally in my opinion. Well, scientists, see, I I don't
- 1:24:25know if you know this, but I was a former nonbeliever and one of
- 1:24:28the things that got me all messed up in the head was
- 1:24:32listening The guys like, believe it or not, it was other
- 1:24:34nonbeliever scientists who got me a little confused.
- 1:24:38They started telling us that according to The Big Bang
- 1:24:42theory, all space and time matter came into existence.
- 1:24:46So if nature had a beginning to it, then what was the very
- 1:24:50initiative that got the nature to even exist?
- 1:24:53It seems to me that nature runs into the same regression problem
- 1:24:57that you hear a lot of atheists bring up.
- 1:24:58Where did it come from? Then you see what I mean?
- 1:25:02I feel as though it's probable that whatever it is, it started
- 1:25:05the started out in an eternal state and then the beginning of
- 1:25:10the universe came together where How can you?
- 1:25:12What I'm saying is if everything came naturally then how did
- 1:25:16nature itself to even create the natural laws even come into
- 1:25:20existence in the 1st place? Well I would say that you're
- 1:25:27you're just said our universe, our universe, our universe.
- 1:25:31But if you listen to scientists, they talk about multiverse
- 1:25:34theory and I believe that there's a multiverse.
- 1:25:39I don't know if there was a beginning to that because I, my
- 1:25:44little tiny human mind cannot comprehend non existence.
- 1:25:50I don't even know what it would be if nothing existed.
- 1:25:53Like I I would go crazy thinking about that.
- 1:25:56So right. But you if the scientists are
- 1:26:01right from what they do claim, they claim that nature itself
- 1:26:05came into existence. See, I believe that the origin
- 1:26:09of the universe was supernatural because the definition of
- 1:26:12supernatural is something that exists outside the natural laws.
- 1:26:17Well, according to scientists that our universe that we live
- 1:26:21in came into existence outside of natural laws because nature
- 1:26:25itself had a beginning. That's why I believe in the
- 1:26:28supernatural, not because I think some reindeer doing
- 1:26:31mushrooms, good call back. But I would, I would just say
- 1:26:39that it's, you know, scientists theorize, you know, multiverse
- 1:26:44theory like there could be another universe with completely
- 1:26:49different laws of physics like up is down, black is white or
- 1:26:55you know, like I don't know. I I'm not going to pretend that
- 1:26:58I know anything Like, you know, I, I, I, I just live in our
- 1:27:03universe. And I acknowledge that, yeah,
- 1:27:05there could be many universes. There could be many dimensions.
- 1:27:09I'm not an astrophysicist. Another call back.
- 1:27:15Remember in Bohemian Rhapsody, one of the band members studied
- 1:27:18astrophysics? I hear you there.
- 1:27:23The reason I how do I put this, the reason why I'm saying you're
- 1:27:28very theistic is because you're open to possibilities.
- 1:27:32If a person truly, truly lacks A belief and there being a bigger
- 1:27:38answer out there in the universe, it would kind of
- 1:27:41explain why a lot of, and I'm not trying to be offensive, but
- 1:27:45did you know a majority of astronauts are actually
- 1:27:47believers that NASA even says Godspeed whenever they send
- 1:27:52people out in space? Apparently some people who don't
- 1:27:55believe there's anything to be found out there have no business
- 1:27:58out in space. You know what I mean?
- 1:28:01Why do you think that is, that the people who actually believe
- 1:28:04there's something higher than us are willing to go out into the
- 1:28:08dark coldness, the void of space, but the folks who don't
- 1:28:12have any belief, they don't want to go.
- 1:28:15Well, as I said, I'm a UFO fanatic.
- 1:28:17And, you know, there's stories that the original Apollo mission
- 1:28:24that went to the moon, like they said that they heard music out
- 1:28:29there. So, like, I don't know, like
- 1:28:32there's theories that there are alien bases on the moon.
- 1:28:35I think maybe there's some credibility to that because
- 1:28:40there's been scientific studies done that you know, that the
- 1:28:45moon is probably hollow, like it could be an artificial satellite
- 1:28:51because they crashed certain modules onto the moon and it
- 1:28:58rang like a bell. Like there's scientific data on
- 1:29:02this. So you know, as the classic
- 1:29:08saying says, magic to lower life forms is just science that they
- 1:29:17don't understand. So I I definitely believe that
- 1:29:20there are higher developed beings out there at see.
- 1:29:26I wouldn't say, I believe I would say it's it's definitely
- 1:29:30possible. It's more than likely that
- 1:29:33there's higher life forms out there and that influences us.
- 1:29:37But what's the possibility of different cultures throughout
- 1:29:41humanity having the same experience, seeing some kind of
- 1:29:45entity from space, yet they give it different names, which might
- 1:29:49be the reason why or the excuse for there being so many
- 1:29:52similarities And religion? Well yeah, let's go back to Star
- 1:29:57Trek. Remember the episode Who watches
- 1:30:01the Watchers? They fuck up because they have
- 1:30:04all their scientific monitoring facilities and certain people
- 1:30:10find that out. And then Captain Picard has to
- 1:30:13come to the planet to figure this shit out.
- 1:30:16But then people, the the proto Vulcan civilization believes
- 1:30:22that Picard is the God. He is the leader.
- 1:30:25He is the Picard. Oh, the Picard came down and the
- 1:30:29Picard told me that he's not a God.
- 1:30:31He's just a guy from another planet.
- 1:30:33He's just a human from earth on a space vessel.
- 1:30:37Like, I don't believe in any deities.
- 1:30:42I don't believe we've used that word yet.
- 1:30:44Deities are ridiculous in my mind.
- 1:30:48Well, humans invented names for things that they originally
- 1:30:52didn't have a label to it, so why would it be so difficult to
- 1:30:56believe that humans seen all over societies and cultures
- 1:31:00seeing something come from the sky and they simply defined it
- 1:31:03as being a God? Well, there are many things in
- 1:31:10the sky, one of one of which is the sun.
- 1:31:13There are many cultures across history that worship the sun as
- 1:31:16a God. There was a sun God.
- 1:31:18There was a rain God. You know, there was a wind God.
- 1:31:22And you know, just people got more intelligent and they
- 1:31:26ascribe more of their own personal emotions and feelings.
- 1:31:32So it's like, you know, you get to the Greek pantheon.
- 1:31:35There's the God of War. There's the God of love.
- 1:31:39There's, you know, like it's it's just humans.
- 1:31:42We're just weird. Well, wouldn't you be that way,
- 1:31:45Drewski, if you had an interaction with one of these
- 1:31:48aliens or Ufo's that you're so interested in, if it treats you
- 1:31:52nice, you're probably going to say, now those are some folks of
- 1:31:55love, but if they start zapping you, you're probably going to be
- 1:31:58like, that's a damn God of War right there.
- 1:32:03No, I would. I would just, I would just
- 1:32:06think, oh, this is another life form.
- 1:32:10They have higher technology than me.
- 1:32:12I should be afraid of them at first, but, you know, be open to
- 1:32:17them. And I wouldn't necessarily
- 1:32:20believe that they created life on Earth.
- 1:32:23If an alien landed tomorrow and had a shield and all of the US
- 1:32:28military was bombarding it, I wouldn't say like, Oh my God,
- 1:32:31this is God. Like, it's just a it's just
- 1:32:34another civilization with advanced technology and we got
- 1:32:41to respect them because they could fuck us up, right?
- 1:32:46Well, the again, the idea is that you do believe that it's
- 1:32:50possible that there could be superior intelligence out there,
- 1:32:54that the Picard example could actually exist, that there is
- 1:32:58someone up there who just so happens to be a captain who has
- 1:33:01the ability to either destroy or do like they did in the old Star
- 1:33:06Trek movies and create a Genesis project.
- 1:33:09Do you remember that? I was like the first or second
- 1:33:11movie. Yeah, the second movie, Ratacon.
- 1:33:14But you know, you you you told me that I have theistic thought
- 1:33:22processes, but it's not theism. Theism is a deity, came down and
- 1:33:29created stuff, created us. Like I'm I'm not opposed to the
- 1:33:35idea of higher beings or even souls.
- 1:33:38I'm an atheist. But I'm I think maybe maybe
- 1:33:40there could be souls, maybe there could be reincarnation,
- 1:33:44maybe I I don't know. But I don't believe that one, an
- 1:33:49entity who came from nothing, created everything that we know
- 1:33:56now. Like that's what see it.
- 1:33:58That's what theism is like that episode.
- 1:34:01They don't, they don't usually describe God as coming from
- 1:34:04nothing. Easily describe the entity as
- 1:34:07being an eternal non regressive, always existed in the a state of
- 1:34:13eternity type of deals. And if you think about it the
- 1:34:16way they describe like The Big Bang.
- 1:34:18It's one of the reasons why a lot of Christians and Muslims
- 1:34:20love The Big Bang theory. Besides the fact that it was it
- 1:34:24was come up with by a Catholic in the 1st place who based it on
- 1:34:27the Bible. I I just watched a video about
- 1:34:31that like a couple days ago. I I never knew that that a
- 1:34:33Catholic thought of The Big Bang.
- 1:34:36I forget all the specifics, but well, believe it or not, a lot
- 1:34:40of the cosmological stuff, including evolution itself, was
- 1:34:45come up with by a theist. I don't know why a lot of people
- 1:34:48are shocked by that. Everything from creation,
- 1:34:51existence. I can't.
- 1:34:53I haven't been able to find one single like atheist scientist
- 1:34:56that was involved in that. There's a skeptic, a lot of
- 1:34:59skeptics. But I haven't really.
- 1:35:02I'm sorry. My fucking cat is on my damn
- 1:35:05chair. Get out of here.
- 1:35:08I hate you. He's.
- 1:35:09Yeah, we got my glean screen in the background.
- 1:35:12I fucking hate him one. One of these days I'm going to
- 1:35:15throttle him. So Jewski, you say that the
- 1:35:20reason why I'm pulling out the theistic bid on you though is
- 1:35:24let me let me try something a little bit more simpler.
- 1:35:27And for some reason, this question kind of gets under
- 1:35:30people's brain cells. But do you believe in the
- 1:35:35possibility of some entity that is likened to that of a God?
- 1:35:40Do you believe in the possibility?
- 1:35:41I'm not asking you if you know it or 100% subscribe to it, but
- 1:35:46do you believe in the possibility?
- 1:35:50There is definitely a possibility that there could be
- 1:35:53a higher form of entity from the 15th dimension in a different
- 1:35:59universe that we would think of as God, like like Doctor
- 1:36:05Manhattan from Watchmen. So that's what a theist is, is
- 1:36:10one who believes in the possibility of a God, which we
- 1:36:14usually describe as an alien or an entity that had something to
- 1:36:17do with creation. An atheist, classically, is one
- 1:36:21who lacks a belief in deities. But how can you lack a belief in
- 1:36:24deities if you just publicly said you believe in the
- 1:36:27possibility of such a thing? No, your your definition of
- 1:36:32theism is flawed. I think theists believe that A1
- 1:36:38single deity or maybe a multitude of deities created us.
- 1:36:45I don't believe that we were created.
- 1:36:47I don't believe that Earth was created by something else.
- 1:36:51It's a natural process of the universe.
- 1:36:53I'm not a theist. Well, the Bible teaches that
- 1:36:57even though God himself is a supernatural entity, that he
- 1:37:01actually used nature to create us.
- 1:37:04Now, where do you believe that your descendants, your ancestors
- 1:37:07came from? If you go all the way down to
- 1:37:10the, if you were to devolve backwards, you're eventually
- 1:37:14going to become material of the earth, right?
- 1:37:18Yes, I guess so. We are All Star stuff.
- 1:37:22So we've got an entity who is literally from the stars, who
- 1:37:27has used nature itself to rise up a man and a woman, or be able
- 1:37:31to create what we refer to as females and males in order to be
- 1:37:35able to procreate and reproduce. The only thing it's it's doing
- 1:37:41is using the material. It's not using magic, it's
- 1:37:44actually using the nature of the earth to create us.
- 1:37:47You realize that in the very beginning of the story.
- 1:37:51Well, as I said, I don't believe we were created per se.
- 1:37:55We came about life came about. I I I just believe you're
- 1:37:59thinking about this and too simplistic of a term.
- 1:38:02I I I don't believe that many humans, like most humans on the
- 1:38:07planet, can't grasp the concept of time.
- 1:38:11I believe you know the Earth was created.
- 1:38:14The Earth was not created. The Earth came about through
- 1:38:17natural processes of the universe 4 billion years ago, I
- 1:38:21believe. But, you know, there's we have a
- 1:38:24sun and all of the quadrillion stars in the sky are Suns.
- 1:38:30And there's gravity and there's there's physics.
- 1:38:34And, you know, life could happen giving certain conditions.
- 1:38:39But there's 50 quad million, trillion billion cophillion
- 1:38:44stars out there, and we're just one of them, and we're just the
- 1:38:47ones that happened to have life come about.
- 1:38:55Do you? Let me Let me ask you what your
- 1:38:58thoughts are on something like a miracle.
- 1:39:01Would you consider it a miracle if a kitten were on the lane of
- 1:39:05a highway? And every day, during the
- 1:39:08fullest traffic, this thing went back and forth 10 times per day
- 1:39:13for almost as long as it's alive to adulthood somehow survives.
- 1:39:19Would you consider it a miracle that that thing was able to do
- 1:39:21that every day for all that time and still managed to not get
- 1:39:26crippled, disabled, or even killed?
- 1:39:29I wouldn't call that a miracle. I would call that extremely
- 1:39:34favorable probability. What do you call it whenever
- 1:39:40there's a little blue ball flying through a void and
- 1:39:43there's over 10,000 observable objects that could destroy us at
- 1:39:47any time and somehow the planet manages to survive for 4.5
- 1:39:51billion years. You don't see that as kind of in
- 1:39:55the quota of the miracle. No, I would call that extremely
- 1:40:00favorable probability. You said 10,000 objects that
- 1:40:04could destroy us. They say that there's over
- 1:40:0610,000 observable objects around us that could destroy us.
- 1:40:10Everything from space debris to black holes.
- 1:40:15Shit that I can't even explain, even with the Star Trek episode
- 1:40:19next to me. So go ahead.
- 1:40:22Do you think it's a miracle or we're just favored?
- 1:40:25I don't think it's a miracle. I just think that there's so
- 1:40:29much out there. The Earth is so small.
- 1:40:33Like if I, you know, like I'm in my living room right now.
- 1:40:39If I if I just shoot a gun randomly, like, is there a
- 1:40:48chance that it would go through a wall and hit a person?
- 1:40:53I there is a chance, but it's extremely not probable because
- 1:40:57my arm is here. Over there there's windows and
- 1:41:02it's a parking structure. So you know there's there's a
- 1:41:07big brick wall with it's a it's a big high rise fancy pants rich
- 1:41:14people building. And I've I've seen this building
- 1:41:19and like hardly any lights are litting up.
- 1:41:21So the probability is just so small that this parking
- 1:41:26structure is even filled to like 10% capacity.
- 1:41:30And the probability that somebody's walking to their car
- 1:41:33is just so small like I like if I shoot and nobody dies.
- 1:41:40I wouldn't call that a miracle. I would call it irresponsible,
- 1:41:43but it's just probability. It does seem like you kind of
- 1:41:49won the lottery every day for the last 4 billion years.
- 1:41:53If things did not happen just as they went step by step, you and
- 1:41:57I wouldn't be here having a conversation.
- 1:41:59The reason why I use this like extraordinary language with it
- 1:42:03being miraculous is that I used to like to watch Stephen
- 1:42:07Hawking. I don't know if you remember
- 1:42:09him, the guy in the wheelchair, one of the superior intelligence
- 1:42:12of atheism. He said that we are a
- 1:42:15mathematical impossibility, and that's usually how Christians
- 1:42:20define what a miracle is. If we're in almost impossible,
- 1:42:24that to us is considered a very rare thing.
- 1:42:28Well, yeah, he was a brilliant man.
- 1:42:31He knew a lot about the cosmos and physics and stuff.
- 1:42:34But he is also not a biologist, and even all of our highest
- 1:42:39biologists can't definitively tell you how life formed.
- 1:42:46So yeah, it is. I guess I would, I would yeah
- 1:42:50use the word miracle just more in a poetic sense, not not in a
- 1:42:56divine sense. Do you believe there was always
- 1:43:00something that existed even prior to the universes or
- 1:43:04multiverse and all that? Yeah see like I said I I I said
- 1:43:10this earlier, I cannot comprehend non existence.
- 1:43:14So definitely, well I wouldn't even see say definitely maybe
- 1:43:19our universe always existed even with The Big Bang because maybe
- 1:43:24it existed in a small form and banged.
- 1:43:27But I would definitely say that there are universes and planes,
- 1:43:37dimensions beyond what we could ever know and it's it's highly
- 1:43:45probable that it always existed. So don't you think, knowing all
- 1:43:50this, that you've pointed out, which I completely agree with
- 1:43:53everything that you've said thus far, wouldn't it be more
- 1:43:57intellectual or intellectually honest to say, yeah, there's a
- 1:44:02possibility that there could be some entity out there that is
- 1:44:06defined like a God, that it could be very close to having
- 1:44:11these abilities of this from a totally different dimension,
- 1:44:14sees existence in a way that we couldn't even be able to
- 1:44:17understand. You're open to that.
- 1:44:20So you're not completely, like, throwing the baby out of the
- 1:44:23bathwater. Yeah, I'm definitely open to
- 1:44:25that. But there's definitely could be
- 1:44:28something like that that us as humans would perceive as a God.
- 1:44:33But that doesn't mean that that particular entity created our
- 1:44:38universe, or created our Earth, or created us.
- 1:44:42And if if so, who created that entity?
- 1:44:48Let's say that you, you were to somehow be able to measure an
- 1:44:52entity that existed before the universe, before in nature
- 1:44:56itself existed. How would you be able to accuse
- 1:45:00it of being born if it always existed in an eternal state?
- 1:45:05I I yeah, this is something I do believe.
- 1:45:08I do believe that there's no way an entity could have always
- 1:45:15existed. Like matter, physics, dimensions
- 1:45:21like that could have always existed.
- 1:45:24I don't know. But an entity is a complex
- 1:45:26thing. An entity needs to have an
- 1:45:30origin, in my personal estimation.
- 1:45:34Let's try. Let's try this out and see what
- 1:45:36you think of it, because you sound like you got a great
- 1:45:38imagination. Like myself, I always try to be
- 1:45:40creative. You believe.
- 1:45:42You do believe, however, that all the brains and life forms
- 1:45:46that exist in the world, everything from the fetus to the
- 1:45:49old relative or whatever ancestor, came from a starting
- 1:45:53point. If The Big Bang is to be said to
- 1:45:56be the true story of how the universe came into existence,
- 1:45:59you do believe that all the material and energy of the
- 1:46:02universe existed in one point, right?
- 1:46:07It could be. But you know what?
- 1:46:09To be honest, I'm going to throw something out there.
- 1:46:11You know, atheists might not agree with that.
- 1:46:15I don't even really know what life is like.
- 1:46:17You know, there's some people theorize that all life is just
- 1:46:22one thing and us living beings are just different expressions
- 1:46:28of that life. So I don't know, like these are,
- 1:46:35these are big questions, man. Why you asking me?
- 1:46:37I'm a nobody. Well, I'm asking you because
- 1:46:41you're one of the few atheists I've had in a long time that
- 1:46:44comes into the room with a a good moral fiber backbone.
- 1:46:49You're intelligent, you're able to have a great conversation.
- 1:46:52It's obvious that you're deep. Anybody that watch as much Star
- 1:46:55Trek as you has to be. So that's why I'm asking these
- 1:46:59questions. If I had somebody in here that
- 1:47:01was a fool like usual and be like, oh man, boring time, but
- 1:47:06you're awesome. I like you.
- 1:47:07I'm glad you came in. Thank you.
- 1:47:10I appreciate that. I I specifically appreciate you
- 1:47:14calling me intelligent because I was just thinking I was thinking
- 1:47:19about something earlier today about, you know, just people in
- 1:47:23life, and I think most people are fucking retarded.
- 1:47:29And I would, I would, can I? I said I was thinking to myself,
- 1:47:32like I am moderately intelligent and I'm happy to have moderately
- 1:47:38intelligent friends and have moderately intelligent
- 1:47:41conversations. I'm not going to pretend that
- 1:47:44I'm like some guy who's smarter than everybody else, because
- 1:47:47they're definitely people who are way smarter than me, a lot
- 1:47:51of them. And I just, I just don't want to
- 1:47:55be a dumbass. Yeah, like I've I said on my
- 1:48:00videos many times, I'd rather have five people who are open
- 1:48:03minded with big hearts and 10 billion zombie like Npc's
- 1:48:07watching me and being subscribed.
- 1:48:12Yeah, hold on. I'm sorry.
- 1:48:13I've been drinking this E&J, Can I take a potty break or I don't
- 1:48:16know where you going to end this or you have to put $5 in the
- 1:48:20toll it's on the right side of the screen.
- 1:48:23I'm just kidding. Go ahead and use the restroom,
- 1:48:25brother. You don't have to ask me if it's
- 1:48:27okay to take a piss. I appreciate your respect
- 1:48:29though. You were just doing that show.
- 1:48:31I'll be right back. I don't know if you choose to
- 1:48:33move on, I'm happy to have the conversation, but I'll now if
- 1:48:36you return, I'll be more than happy to talk to you.
- 1:48:38Hopefully more people come in the room.
- 1:48:40If they don't, I'm enjoying the Oneonone conversation.
- 1:48:45So is there anybody out there that would like to come in and
- 1:48:48join? Here's a link for anybody that
- 1:48:51wants to join. Let's see what's going on with
- 1:48:55the the world while we're sitting here chilling.
- 1:49:00OK, so earlier we talked about the whole Apparently there's a
- 1:49:04lot of folks out there. You think that whiteness needs
- 1:49:07to be abolished. That's strange.
- 1:49:11That almost sounds a little racist.
- 1:49:13But OK, so recently in the news, Jason Aldean, the country
- 1:49:17singer, the one everybody accused being racist, is suing
- 1:49:22Whoopi Gilberg and the view for defaming him and slandering him
- 1:49:27on that show. Millions of dollars, it looks
- 1:49:30like. Oof.
- 1:49:31What do you guys think? Do you think that he should win
- 1:49:35there? Or do you think it that people
- 1:49:36should be able to say whatever they want about a celebrity or
- 1:49:39person on the view? Did you hear any of that, Mister
- 1:49:43Jewski? By the way, I muted the mic so I
- 1:49:46wouldn't we wouldn't hear you peeing in the background.
- 1:49:50All you got to do is take your mouse down and click the
- 1:49:52microphone button. OK, I'm sorry, I didn't hear
- 1:49:55what you said, but what were you talking about?
- 1:49:59Well, I don't know if you've heard the stuff going on about
- 1:50:02the Jason Aldean guy, the country singer who sung a song
- 1:50:07about try that in our town. Well, apparently a bunch of
- 1:50:12people like On the View as they normally do.
- 1:50:15He feels he was slandered and defamed.
- 1:50:17Do you know the story about it? I don't know anything about
- 1:50:21country. I've heard of the View.
- 1:50:24My mom used to watch that like 15 years ago, but I know there
- 1:50:28are a bunch of clowns though. Well, you were saying earlier
- 1:50:32that a lot of the human race is retarded and I have to also
- 1:50:35endorse you on that as well. The the issue is, is you've got
- 1:50:39a hen house filled with women who managed to get a camera
- 1:50:42pointed at them and they should talk everybody on the planet.
- 1:50:45Well, this country singer, what he did was he made a video
- 1:50:49saying you don't do the shit that you did during the Trump
- 1:50:52administration in our little country town, basically saying
- 1:50:56we've got a code you come here with that nonsense, we slapped
- 1:50:58you around kind of attitude. Right.
- 1:51:01So what happens is is in his video he shows footage of the
- 1:51:05riots that happened with Antifa and black lives matter.
- 1:51:08Well, a bunch of people said it was racist of him to show the
- 1:51:12footage and all that. So a lot of country singers and
- 1:51:17rock stars and celebrities are defending the guy as well.
- 1:51:20Some like conservative news stations, but people like Whoopi
- 1:51:25Gilberg are claiming he's a racist for showing the footage.
- 1:51:28I don't know how that is. He doesn't even mention color or
- 1:51:31race in the song at all. Wait, I don't really understand.
- 1:51:36Are you saying this guy? Is he pro Trump or anti Trump?
- 1:51:41I don't know if he supported Trump or not.
- 1:51:44People usually think that if you like the American flag and think
- 1:51:48that America should be great, then that must be a Trump meme
- 1:51:51coming, right? But the point is, is that he
- 1:51:56this was a country singer who was doing a show and outside the
- 1:52:00show there was a mass shooting and a bunch of fans were killed
- 1:52:03and it affected him. It's given him some PTSD and
- 1:52:06he's been making a lot of songs about his experiences and how he
- 1:52:10hates seeing Americans killing each other in the street.
- 1:52:13It's one of those type of songs and for some reason the liberals
- 1:52:17out there trying to make it out to look like he's a racist or
- 1:52:21pointing the finger. They say there's too much
- 1:52:22footage of black people, but when I watch the video, I see a
- 1:52:26diverse amount of people. They're just wearing masks.
- 1:52:31Yeah. Well, if you look at, you know,
- 1:52:33the history of music videos, like, we show a lot of footage
- 1:52:36of America. One of my favorite songs and one
- 1:52:39of my favorite videos is the Cult of Personality by Living
- 1:52:44Color. You know what I'm talking about.
- 1:52:46Yeah. Code like personality.
- 1:52:50Yeah. I Can't Sing worth the text
- 1:52:52anymore. What do you see?
- 1:52:54The Cult of Personality. But you know, they show, they
- 1:52:58show footage of, you know, like civil unrest or like 1920s
- 1:53:03people industrialization. Like, I don't know, we're just
- 1:53:06talking about a country, I guess.
- 1:53:08But I don't know. I'm unfamiliar with this
- 1:53:10musician and the song, and it's probable that the anybody who is
- 1:53:17complaining is probably unfamiliar with the musician and
- 1:53:20the song and they didn't bother to listen to it or read the
- 1:53:24lyrics. Because I don't know what it is.
- 1:53:28But I I would bet most people don't even know what it is.
- 1:53:32They just show a country singer showing footage of, you know,
- 1:53:37the riots or whatever the hell happened, and they they just
- 1:53:40form their own opinion in their heads.
- 1:53:43It's an average, typical patriotic type of country song.
- 1:53:49It's there's nothing like you would hear from music or from
- 1:53:53the lyrics that would make you think that it was any different
- 1:53:56than any other country song you've ever heard.
- 1:53:58But for some reason because he had the American flag in it and
- 1:54:02also showed the burning of the flag by the groups that were
- 1:54:05doing us during the riots, they're they're it's like they
- 1:54:09are accusing him of being the bad guy when it's actually
- 1:54:12footage of people spitting in the face of cops and you know
- 1:54:17violence happened in that street, things on fire.
- 1:54:19You know the whole thing we've seen during the Trump
- 1:54:21administration. So I find it interesting.
- 1:54:24Everything is just being washed out as racism, xenophobic
- 1:54:29transphobic, Islamophobic. Just like we want some kind of
- 1:54:33phobia for everything nowadays. Yeah that's that's just America.
- 1:54:38I'm I'm not going to talk about Earth or humans.
- 1:54:42But America is designed to be polarized.
- 1:54:46And I don't know if this guy just threw that stuff in there
- 1:54:49just to maybe get more notoriety or press or I don't know if
- 1:54:57it's. It's probably like so many
- 1:54:59people just make up their minds about stuff and everybody just
- 1:55:03wants to be angry. Everybody wants to be angry
- 1:55:06about everything. But me personally, I don't give
- 1:55:10a shit about shit like I remember.
- 1:55:13Like specifically this is burning my mind.
- 1:55:15Like, you know, this is, it was like lunchtime.
- 1:55:18We were in high school and there was some big kerfuffle like
- 1:55:22behind our lunch table and I don't even give a fuck And like
- 1:55:26everybody's like, Oh my God and I I just that just stands out in
- 1:55:31my mind because people like came to me later and they're like,
- 1:55:33oh, Drew was just sitting there like nothing happened.
- 1:55:36It's like who cares? Who gives a fuck?
- 1:55:40Yeah, I agree with you. Well, the the big news is he's
- 1:55:44going to sue the View because they made countless accusations
- 1:55:49and names of him. And I've seen a lot of.
- 1:55:51I can see why people are getting too happy nowadays, because
- 1:55:54there's a lot of people out there who feel they can get on
- 1:55:57television, just say whatever the hell they want about
- 1:55:59somebody. Do you think that's a problem?
- 1:56:01Should people be allowed to get up on a camera and say, man,
- 1:56:05that damn Drewski, he probably likes little kids or something.
- 1:56:08I think people like that should get some kind of consequences.
- 1:56:12What about you? Yeah, we do have very good
- 1:56:16freedom of speech laws in this country.
- 1:56:20I I can't speak to the rest of the world but like I, I, I I
- 1:56:26would assume the rest of the world has decent laws but liable
- 1:56:30and slander. It's hard to prove.
- 1:56:34But you know they obviously the the people on the View were
- 1:56:38trying to we're trying to portray this person in a certain
- 1:56:45light and he's a public figure. And you you can't just say like,
- 1:56:50you know so and so like make a TV show episodes.
- 1:56:55We're like, oh, here is so and so song.
- 1:56:58And this song means that he hates X, Like that's.
- 1:57:02I don't know. I don't know the specifics.
- 1:57:06But if it goes to court, these these view people, like, I don't
- 1:57:11know they they go too hard with their hate.
- 1:57:14And yeah, it would be, I think it would be one thing.
- 1:57:19If somebody's going to do like an exposed deal, I think that
- 1:57:23they ought to have to show some kind of evidence, not just get
- 1:57:27up there out of anger and say that person's a racist, they're
- 1:57:30a Nazi, all this kind of thing. Yeah.
- 1:57:34In this country, defamation is a legal thing.
- 1:57:38It is very hard to prove. If it is, if it is true that
- 1:57:43they were defaming him, well, he should get compensation for
- 1:57:50that. Like it's it's like the pizza
- 1:57:54gate thing, you know, like everybody is saying like, oh,
- 1:57:58all the Democrats. There's like this secret
- 1:58:00pedophile ring and then like blah, blah, blah.
- 1:58:04And you know, that caused like somebody to shoot up pizzeria or
- 1:58:08something. And it's like there should be
- 1:58:09repercussions for stuff like that.
- 1:58:13It's like, you know, if people say that this guy is like a
- 1:58:16racist and he hates black people and, you know, like, he could be
- 1:58:19in danger, like, I'm, I'm pretty sure, like, I don't know the
- 1:58:25song. I don't know the lyrics, but I'm
- 1:58:26pretty sure his song wasn't. I hate black people.
- 1:58:31Don't clip that out. Nobody clicked that.
- 1:58:33Nobody clip that out. Well, I would never do something
- 1:58:36like that. But I can't promise that there's
- 1:58:38not going to be some atheist out there.
- 1:58:40Cut that out and put it up there.
- 1:58:42You might get accused of being a racist Christian later on.
- 1:58:45Sorry, no, I say a lot of crazy shit.
- 1:58:50Just, you know, like just joking around.
- 1:58:53Fucking around. So like, it's just the news that
- 1:58:57that oh oh, hold on. It's just just to save myself,
- 1:59:01somebody else clip this out. I hate white people.
- 1:59:06I hate brown people. I hate yellow people.
- 1:59:11Just clip all of that out and it will all contradict each other.
- 1:59:15So I'll be fine. I hear you there.
- 1:59:18Well, it's OK to say that you hate white people, apparently,
- 1:59:21according to the news nowadays. Yeah, I definitely disagree with
- 1:59:26that. Oh, you know what's funny?
- 1:59:28I made a joke because my brother just recently got engaged and I
- 1:59:34I went over to his place. I was talking to him.
- 1:59:36He was working at the time, but he he he stepped out.
- 1:59:40And his his, his fiance. Oh my.
- 1:59:44Well, I'm of Mexican descent. My my brother has Puerto Rican
- 1:59:49father and his fiance is white. And oh, I don't, I don't know if
- 1:59:59I should say the name. But you know he is a Puerto
- 2:00:01Rican last name. It's different from my last
- 2:00:03name. And like I, his wife came out to
- 2:00:05take that out the trash and I was like, oh, it's Mrs. Soandso,
- 2:00:09like his Puerto Rican last name and.
- 2:00:12And then I was like, this is what genocide?
- 2:00:15Just like, I'm just joking around.
- 2:00:16I'm just fucking around. Like, that's good, man.
- 2:00:21You sound like you got a pretty open mind and a good sense of
- 2:00:24humor. That's good stuff.
- 2:00:26So have you thought about anything that I was saying while
- 2:00:28you're away from your computer? I know you're probably
- 2:00:30concentrating on the biology as well, but do you see what I'm
- 2:00:35meaning? Whenever I said that, you seem
- 2:00:38very open to the probability of there being something that could
- 2:00:42be defined as a God. Yeah, I'm open to the
- 2:00:46possibility of something that could be defined as a God.
- 2:00:50But I am completely against the notion that humans on Earth were
- 2:00:54created. Like that's why I'm not a
- 2:00:57theist. Like, of course, you know, I
- 2:00:59love Star Trek. There's like there's many
- 2:01:02different higher level beings in Star Trek, not just cue from The
- 2:01:07Next Generation, but there's an episode in the original series
- 2:01:10where they go, they go to a planet and this guy says that I
- 2:01:16am Apollo and it's like Greek architecture and stuff all
- 2:01:21around him. But he he never, the episode
- 2:01:25wasn't about like the Greek gods were real and they created
- 2:01:28Earth. It's just he was a higher level
- 2:01:34entity like living being of a of a higher civilization and they
- 2:01:40visited earth checked it out for a little bit and then they
- 2:01:43pieced out and they left. They were from somewhere else.
- 2:01:47They didn't have anything to do with our creation but then they
- 2:01:50pieced out, well, let me carry a question for you.
- 2:01:56Do you believe that it's possible that a a character like
- 2:02:00Data, let's say in reality, is it possible for a character like
- 2:02:05Data to come into existence without the assistance of an
- 2:02:08intelligent being? I would say it's definitely
- 2:02:14possible because there was another episode in Star Trek,
- 2:02:18The Next Generation season one where they go to a planet where
- 2:02:23they're mining, it's like silicon, they're mining silicon.
- 2:02:27But it turns out there are, there was a microscopic silicon
- 2:02:34civilization and they had to shut down the mine.
- 2:02:37Like this was a very expensive operation.
- 2:02:40These scientists were trying to like mine this silicon and data
- 2:02:45comes in and like, you know, it turns out the microscopic
- 2:02:48civilization, you know, they were being destroyed.
- 2:02:50So they fought back. So they were infiltrating like
- 2:02:54the facilities, computer systems, and that's why the
- 2:02:58Enterprise needed to come. It's like, oh, the Enterprise,
- 2:03:00like we need to help. Our computer systems are all
- 2:03:02fucking up. But then Data discovers that
- 2:03:05there's this microscopic, they call it a micro brain.
- 2:03:10So like maybe a microscopic silicon based civilization could
- 2:03:16evolve into something like Data. Yeah, that could be possible.
- 2:03:20Fair enough. I believe something extremely
- 2:03:23small could eventually, if it's not tampered with, their
- 2:03:26molested, it could possibly turn into something very advanced,
- 2:03:32like data. Yeah, it's definitely possible.
- 2:03:35It would. It would take a span of time
- 2:03:38that I couldn't calculate because I'm not a scientist.
- 2:03:41Like, maybe let's let's just throw out 50 billion years.
- 2:03:45Yeah, definitely. All right, I got a got another
- 2:03:50neat thing for you and all your time of existing on the earth,
- 2:03:55you've you've probably countless times heard or observed or seen
- 2:04:00or or someone told you that something came to life from
- 2:04:05something else that was alive, right?
- 2:04:08Or have you ever observed something come to life from non
- 2:04:10life? I don't understand what you
- 2:04:14mean. And all of your time on Earth,
- 2:04:18anything that's ever came to life always had a parent.
- 2:04:21And your observation, you've actually seen people be born
- 2:04:25before, haven't you? Or animals.
- 2:04:28Yeah. And all of your time.
- 2:04:30Have you ever seen anything come out of, let's say, something
- 2:04:33alive, come out of the actual rock or material without some
- 2:04:38life form behind it? Yeah, of course not.
- 2:04:42But we are on Earth, and life developed eons ago, and it was
- 2:04:49simplistic life and that life sprouted into different forms of
- 2:04:55life. OK, let's say that that
- 2:05:00happened. Why is it that we're the only
- 2:05:03species ever on the planet? We seem to have this special
- 2:05:08thing where we've had an enlightenment age, but no other
- 2:05:11creatures had that. Why are we the only species like
- 2:05:14this? I would say we don't know that.
- 2:05:17I would say that life has existed for maybe a couple
- 2:05:23billion years. I don't know.
- 2:05:24But like, you know, we all know the dinosaurs got wiped out a
- 2:05:29couple, 100 million years ago. Like, who's to say there wasn't
- 2:05:32a, Who's to say there wasn't an advanced civilization then who
- 2:05:38just got wiped out? Maybe they were Reptilians.
- 2:05:40Maybe they were insectoids. Maybe they were fucking damn, I
- 2:05:50just blanked out. What's the fungus?
- 2:05:53So you you do believe that the dinosaurs and there was a huge
- 2:05:59group of creatures and reptilian type of creatures that actually
- 2:06:03existed at some point in time and it was wiped out.
- 2:06:07Do you as your classic belief that it was a meteorite or some
- 2:06:10kind of outer space debris that killed all these things, It was
- 2:06:15some kind of natural catastrophe.
- 2:06:18Maybe it was a meteor, maybe it was super volcanoes, Maybe it
- 2:06:21was a climate catastrophe. Maybe it was the Earth's axis
- 2:06:27rotated. But you know what?
- 2:06:28Let's let's just say, you know, a million years from right now,
- 2:06:34will people find many human fossils?
- 2:06:38Probably not, because we we bury our humans in coffins and we,
- 2:06:44you know, lace their bodies and formaldehyde and I don't know if
- 2:06:48that would be sufficient situation to create a fossil.
- 2:06:57Maybe not. So like maybe a million years
- 2:06:59from now there could be octopus people and they would know
- 2:07:03nothing about us humans who came from fucking monkeys.
- 2:07:08So let's the belief that you have is what I was commonly
- 2:07:12taught in school and and all that, that something natural hit
- 2:07:16the earth, caused a unbelievable amount of destruction, ended up
- 2:07:20wiping out, they call it the extinction of the dinosaur in
- 2:07:24that age. So if that happened, when did
- 2:07:28the creature start evolving if they were all killed?
- 2:07:32Well it's not it's not that every everything was killed.
- 2:07:36It's there were mammals existed during the time of the dinosaurs
- 2:07:41but there were small rodent like creatures.
- 2:07:43And in that devastation because you know a lot of lower mammals
- 2:07:49like mice and you know ferrets and moles, they Burrow into the
- 2:07:55ground. So that's probably how they
- 2:07:57lived off of the, you know, like if the big mega fauna, we're all
- 2:08:05extinct, that would be the perfect, that would be the
- 2:08:10perfect situation for these little small mammals to come out
- 2:08:13of the ground without any predators and they could thrive,
- 2:08:19right. So if a lot of the other
- 2:08:21predators and other creatures are dead though, and usually the
- 2:08:25claim is, is that it wasn't just a meteorite that hit us, but
- 2:08:29they say that our sky turned dark to where it basically
- 2:08:33covered the earth, the atmosphere, cut out the oxygen,
- 2:08:37destroyed all the plant life. I mean it almost sounds like a
- 2:08:40damn worldwide flood example. If this happened then how could
- 2:08:45have anything, Even if it crawled into the ground,
- 2:08:47eventually a mammals got to come out.
- 2:08:49It's got to eat something. Well yeah, you know what?
- 2:08:54I I don't know for sure that the extinction of the dinosaurs was
- 2:08:58a meteor. I don't know if that's, but
- 2:09:01there could have been multiple things.
- 2:09:02But I've heard, because, you know, I'm, I'm very afraid of
- 2:09:05nuclear war. We're inching closer and closer
- 2:09:09and closer to the dooms with the Doomsday Clock to midnight.
- 2:09:14But I I've heard that even if you know nuclear war, World War
- 2:09:18Three goes off. It would not end all life on
- 2:09:22earth. All life on Earth will be
- 2:09:24definitely fucked up. But maybe some people will
- 2:09:30survive. But definitely, like, life would
- 2:09:34survive on Earth. That's fair enough, but you
- 2:09:39heard the same thing as I did growing up probably, that the
- 2:09:42entire world went extinct. That entire all those creatures
- 2:09:46were wiped out. And now they're telling us that
- 2:09:48somehow some of them managed to evolve.
- 2:09:52Like, for example, one of the big things they claim is that
- 2:09:56dinosaurs turned into birds. They claim that some of this
- 2:10:00happened. Now if the sky is dark and then
- 2:10:02there's no oxygen and a lot of the big creatures got wiped, at
- 2:10:06what point in time does the dead dinosaur become a bird?
- 2:10:11Well, you have to understand that it's not like AT Rex became
- 2:10:15a bird like in the time of dinosaurs.
- 2:10:18There were many different types of creatures, just like today.
- 2:10:23If like, we're mammals, like elephants are mammals, if World
- 2:10:30War Three went off, the elephants would probably die
- 2:10:33off. But you know, there's many other
- 2:10:35type of mammals who could maybe evolve into something different
- 2:10:39to survive like they're smaller mammals like crap.
- 2:10:43I'm trying to think because I used to watch Animal Planet when
- 2:10:46I was a kid and I remember like they said a elephant descended
- 2:10:51from some lower form of like rodents.
- 2:10:56But I don't know. I'm I'm like I said I'm not an
- 2:11:01evolution scientist so right. Well neither am I but there is.
- 2:11:08Do you believe that your ancestors now I asked this
- 2:11:11question to some people in the past.
- 2:11:14If you ever watch any of my live shows.
- 2:11:16Some people got offended but I was simply bringing up a
- 2:11:18scientific claim. I wasn't actually claiming they
- 2:11:21came from rats but they took it that way.
- 2:11:24So I'm kind of defending myself before I put the question out
- 2:11:27there. Do you believe that you, your
- 2:11:30ancestors evolved from rats and before that fish, what, millions
- 2:11:35of years before that? Well, I don't know if we would
- 2:11:40use those exact scientific terms, but the life began in the
- 2:11:47ocean probably. And as I I stated before that
- 2:11:53the lowest form of mammals existed during dinosaur times,
- 2:11:58like mammals didn't exist or it's not like mammals evolved
- 2:12:02after dinosaurs. They were here and they were
- 2:12:05struggling and when dinosaurs were wiped out they had an
- 2:12:10opportunity to thrive. But also, there were some
- 2:12:15dinosaurs or pterosaurs. Pterosaurs.
- 2:12:20A pterosaur isn't technically a dinosaur, but they were already
- 2:12:25in the stages of becoming birds before the dinosaur extinction.
- 2:12:31So you know, they became a new form of life like dinosaurs.
- 2:12:38Dinosaurs definitely did turn into birds.
- 2:12:41Like because exactly like if you if you look at today a fucking
- 2:12:44ostrich, it's very T Rex. Like, like it's it's a little
- 2:12:49different. But like you can definitely see
- 2:12:52where that came from. How do you feel about
- 2:12:56scientists? And I can show you quite a few
- 2:12:58scientific sites, not the sticker creation of sites, but
- 2:13:02science sites that claim that T Rex has evolved into what we
- 2:13:06refer to as chicken nowadays. I don't know if I would say that
- 2:13:13I think like, you know, there's a, there's certain different
- 2:13:16classifications because you know, there's four legged
- 2:13:19dinosaurs, there's two legged dinosaurs, there are flying
- 2:13:24dinosaurs, which they called, they separated and call them
- 2:13:27pterosaurs. So I I would believe that
- 2:13:31something like a velociraptor maybe became oh, there were oh,
- 2:13:37it's quetsa quattle. What's a kawatalis was a
- 2:13:42feathered dinosaur that flew. Like there's there's fossils of
- 2:13:46this. You can see the fossilized
- 2:13:48remains of the feathers. So that slowly transitioned from
- 2:13:53a dinosaur. It's not like AT Rex became a
- 2:13:56chicken. It's, you know, a different kind
- 2:13:59of dinosaur that was smaller and had feathers became birds and
- 2:14:05birds spread out from there. Are you see I don't know if you
- 2:14:11could see this. I know my screen's a little
- 2:14:13small at me. We got this.
- 2:14:17You know the evolution tree where they're showing, if you
- 2:14:20look on the bottom row of this because it's claiming the
- 2:14:24creature branched off into a couple different things,
- 2:14:26obviously. So we're related to lizards,
- 2:14:29fish and everything according to this, but you see the T Rex
- 2:14:33under it. They literally have it going
- 2:14:35into a chicken. So yeah, probably.
- 2:14:39I'm not sure you probably eaten a lot of lot of T rexes in your
- 2:14:43time, I'd say, right? I'm not sure if that's a if
- 2:14:49that's an official scientific documentation, but like I I
- 2:14:54would, I would say probably an ancestor of a T Rex and an
- 2:14:58ancestor of an Archaeoptrix or a Quatsicoatalis.
- 2:15:04Like they probably had the same ancestor.
- 2:15:08It's, it's it's basically like you know us humans like us
- 2:15:12humans. Like we didn't come from an
- 2:15:16orangutan, we didn't come from a gorilla, we didn't come from a
- 2:15:20chimpanzee. But all of us share a similar
- 2:15:23ancestor and that sprouted off. Right, But do you believe that
- 2:15:32the the T Rex? Because I was always under the
- 2:15:35assumption, probably just as you were, that the T Rex was one of
- 2:15:38those big predators that ended up going down.
- 2:15:41And you are right, there are more theories than just
- 2:15:44meteorites hitting the earth. One of their latest theories.
- 2:15:47And I kid you not, I can show you on the screen.
- 2:15:50I did not make this up and I probably would have never came
- 2:15:53up with it, even though I got a great imagination.
- 2:15:55But they believe the dinosaurs may have killed each other with
- 2:15:58farts. I know, right?
- 2:16:03Where's that? Show me that.
- 2:16:04Show me that shit. All right, let me show you.
- 2:16:08That's pretty funny. Let me go to Google and then
- 2:16:14I'll type in Just as simple as this dinosaur.
- 2:16:20Let's see if I can learn how to spell again.
- 2:16:24Die by fart gases. I know, it's silly, right?
- 2:16:32I laughed my ass off. No, it's not silly, dude.
- 2:16:34My farts are deathly and serious.
- 2:16:38You better get the fuck out of the room if I fart.
- 2:16:41Here we go. Scientists estimate dinosaurs
- 2:16:43past enough gas to warm and it's probably the planet.
- 2:16:48Did farting kill the dinosaurs? There's a lot of theories,
- 2:16:51aren't it? Some people believe that the
- 2:16:53creatures were like, I mean, you've heard nowadays in modern
- 2:16:57time, what do they tell you? They say, you know these cows,
- 2:17:01they keep farting and they're end up destroying our
- 2:17:03atmosphere. Well, DMT Rex is quite a bit
- 2:17:06bigger than a damn cow. I can imagine its farts are
- 2:17:09going to be quite a bit more potent than a damn beefy cow,
- 2:17:12right? Hell yeah, I didn't.
- 2:17:16Like I said, I wish I could take credit for making that shit up.
- 2:17:20But that is some of the theories on how these 4 bastards wiped
- 2:17:24himself out. Because apparently they were.
- 2:17:26I had never heard of that. I hear you.
- 2:17:32I actually, when I tried to show another nonbeliever that he got
- 2:17:35really, really pissed off at me. That's why I like you, because
- 2:17:38you're like okay. Show me the information.
- 2:17:41If it's there, then it's there. You don't get mad about it, you
- 2:17:44just say fuck it. That's new.
- 2:17:46That's something to laugh at tonight, Okay.
- 2:17:48Hold on. We're we're talking about
- 2:17:51evolution. You know, I'm getting a little
- 2:17:53tipsy. I'm getting a little loose.
- 2:17:55So like, I I kind of want to change gears here.
- 2:18:00So I want to ask you a question because this is something I
- 2:18:03definitely believe because I've seen the solid evidence, it's
- 2:18:09it's irrefutable evidence. Do you believe in Bigfoot?
- 2:18:15Do I believe in Bigfoot? Do I believe in the possibility
- 2:18:18that there's a big hairy creature running around them?
- 2:18:21Forest. I'll tell you what, I live out
- 2:18:23in the country and we've got possums and raccoons the size of
- 2:18:26a World of Warcraft mount, so I don't know.
- 2:18:30Well, based on all the stuff I've seen, man, Bigfoot is
- 2:18:36irrefutable. Irrefutable.
- 2:18:40I'm. I'm not making a joke.
- 2:18:41This is not a meme. Oh no.
- 2:18:44There's people out there. There's humans who actually have
- 2:18:48some kind of hair issue with their genetics, where they grow
- 2:18:51it all over their body. It's very possible somebody
- 2:18:53might have observed something like that.
- 2:18:56No, it's not just possible. It's irrefutable.
- 2:18:59There's this YouTube channel that I watch.
- 2:19:02It's called Thinker Bunker. He analyzed the Patterson Gimlin
- 2:19:07film and a lot of Bigfoot footage.
- 2:19:10A lot of Bigfoot photos, all of that stuff cannot be faked.
- 2:19:16It cannot be faked because he he, he has this proportional
- 2:19:22graph, like, it's how long are our arms, how long are our legs
- 2:19:27and how long is our torso. Like if you put on a monkey
- 2:19:31suit, it's not going to make your arms 20% longer like.
- 2:19:36And he even says, you know, like, oh, critics will say, oh,
- 2:19:40they have an arm extension. Well, there's no such thing as
- 2:19:43an arm extension. You can extend your forearm like
- 2:19:48this part, like you can extend that, but it's going to be out
- 2:19:53of proportion with the upper part of your arm and it's not
- 2:19:56going to look right. But there's footage out there
- 2:19:59where it's, it's just irrefutable.
- 2:20:01I would recommend like we don't have to talk about the Bigfoot
- 2:20:05subject if you don't want to, but you need to watch Thinkers
- 2:20:09Thunkers videos. Well, one thing you're going to
- 2:20:13learn about me, Drewski, is I love the I love it whenever the
- 2:20:17live shows talk about unusual, strange stuff.
- 2:20:21I got friends who think that we live in a simulation.
- 2:20:23I got friends who think we live on a Flat Earth.
- 2:20:26I got friends who think that the moon landing was a CGI job and
- 2:20:30that the moon's a a hologram, so you name it.
- 2:20:33I've heard everything. And as far as Bigfoot goes, I
- 2:20:36don't have a problem with believing something like that's
- 2:20:38possible. See, like I said, I am an
- 2:20:42atheist. I'm a logical person.
- 2:20:45I do not believe we were created by a God.
- 2:20:47I recognize science, and all of the science points to Bigfoot.
- 2:20:55I know it sounds silly, some people say Sasquatch, but
- 2:20:58Sasquatch is just one of the Native American names.
- 2:21:02Like, you know, there's thousands of Native American
- 2:21:05names for Bigfoot. You know, Inosqua or some shit
- 2:21:09like that. But it's irrefutable.
- 2:21:12Would you Would you be against pulling up a video right now
- 2:21:15from Thinkerthunker? Well, unfortunately I have tried
- 2:21:21in the past to use my podcast to play videos and all that, and if
- 2:21:25I did, the sound would cut out. The video will hold and loop for
- 2:21:30a long, long time. I've tried.
- 2:21:32Trust me, I used to have the ability to upload little clips
- 2:21:36into my system, but now it doesn't let me upload because
- 2:21:40I'm no longer paying for the plan.
- 2:21:43Wow, that sucks. All right.
- 2:21:45Would I would. You can.
- 2:21:47If you want to share it, you can.
- 2:21:49I don't. I've.
- 2:21:50I've never been. I don't even know what website
- 2:21:53we're on. Right.
- 2:21:53It's. What's this place?
- 2:21:56Stream Yard? I don't know.
- 2:21:57I've never used this before. Maybe next month I'll give you
- 2:22:00some if you Maybe you'll be able to do it.
- 2:22:03Maybe you got a better Internet connection.
- 2:22:06Down below you're going to see where your settings are, how you
- 2:22:09get everything going. Present is how you share a
- 2:22:11browser page, a video. I think that there's even a
- 2:22:15thing where you can put a file in there if you've got the video
- 2:22:18on hand. But like I said, my Internet is
- 2:22:22just weak as hell. Probably because my wife likes
- 2:22:25to watch all that stuff for Netflix while I'm doing this,
- 2:22:28and it kind of uses up the stream a little bit.
- 2:22:31Yeah, I definitely know that. Because me and my two other
- 2:22:35brothers lived with my mom in a crappy apartment after high
- 2:22:39school, and my brother had like a 4K TV.
- 2:22:43And I'm like, dude, can you, like just play stuff in maybe
- 2:22:461080P? Like, you know, I'm trying to do
- 2:22:48this and this, and, like, the Internet is really shitty and
- 2:22:51he's just like, no, I have a 4K TV.
- 2:22:54I want to play everything at 4K. God damn.
- 2:22:58Well, I've unfortunately found myself.
- 2:23:00I got a 4K television, high definition, but I have to play
- 2:23:04everything at 7:20. So if he can at least get 1080,
- 2:23:08he's a lucky fellow. Yeah, you know what?
- 2:23:12It would be nice to have a 4K TV, but to be honest, hold on,
- 2:23:16Let me just show you real quick. I have right here.
- 2:23:21You see, I got a tube TV and I got this TV on top of it.
- 2:23:27I had to put duct tape on it because I got a cat and one
- 2:23:31night my cat knocked down this TV from that TV.
- 2:23:34Like I'm a big PC guy and I like my PC is on my TV so that the TV
- 2:23:43on top. I bought that TV in like 2011
- 2:23:47and I think it's good. Like I would love A4KT V but I
- 2:23:54don't know like this is good enough.
- 2:23:56Like when I get $1,000,000 I'll get a 4K TV.
- 2:24:00Well, the the television that I was able to get it was at
- 2:24:03Walmart. I think it's like a little over
- 2:24:05a 6060 inch. I was able to get it for under a
- 2:24:09couple 100 bucks. A lot of televisions around
- 2:24:13here, they get a lot in stock and don't sell them out, so they
- 2:24:16have to drop the price. And boy oh boy.
- 2:24:19When I seen a big ass TV like they look like a movie screen
- 2:24:22for less than 200, my ass had to say, Yep, that's mine right
- 2:24:25there. I have the same kind of setup
- 2:24:28too. I got my hard drive plugged into
- 2:24:31a HTML wire going into my television.
- 2:24:34It's my monitor. I wouldn't be able to do this.
- 2:24:37Yet on a smaller monitor, I got terrible eyes.
- 2:24:40Apparently Evolution didn't like me very much because it didn't
- 2:24:43give me good fucking eyes. Like I said, I know there are
- 2:24:51some affordable 4K TVs, but if I were to ever spend any money I
- 2:24:56want like a 70 inch like TV. But also because this is my
- 2:25:02setup. I just showed you my setup, my
- 2:25:04PC like I'm in my living room. I'm a big PC Gamer and I like I
- 2:25:10have a a PS5 controller, like that's how I play.
- 2:25:14I don't play with mouse and keyboard even though I'm a PC
- 2:25:17player. But like this TV is still good.
- 2:25:20And before I make any big investment in 4K, I would want
- 2:25:25to make sure like, there's proper refresh rates and like
- 2:25:30low lag and I don't know, but this TV I've been using since
- 2:25:352011, it's fine for me. All I know is my big old damn
- 2:25:42television monitor looks great with Skyrim, Fallout 4 and all
- 2:25:47the older versions of it. And I'm looking forward to
- 2:25:50seeing what a Starfield looks like in September on this bad
- 2:25:54way. Oh yeah, I know you're a big
- 2:25:56gamer. Actually, I've I've, I've seen
- 2:25:59some Starfield trailers and there was like Starfield
- 2:26:03footage, like 30 minutes of footage of like a segment of the
- 2:26:06game and I was unimpressed. But then there was like a
- 2:26:11developer video that came out recently, like where each
- 2:26:16developed like there was like 15 different developers and there's
- 2:26:19like ooh, there's like this you could do in the game, like you
- 2:26:21could be in zero gravity and like you can shoot like a
- 2:26:26regular gun, like not a laser gun.
- 2:26:29And it would. It would like move you in zero
- 2:26:33gravity. I'm like, why didn't you show
- 2:26:34this to any of the trailers or any of the footage that you've
- 2:26:37shown? Like Starfield looks great.
- 2:26:39Then think they Bethesda likes to tease you.
- 2:26:43And then whenever they get closer, they want to show you
- 2:26:46all the crazy shed, Especially when sales are right around the
- 2:26:49corner and they're trying to sell a premium of something, you
- 2:26:53know? That's usually how they go.
- 2:26:55But Bethesda has always done me the same way.
- 2:26:57They make the greatest game in the world and then usually for
- 2:27:00the first two years you can't play it.
- 2:27:05Yeah, I know Bethesda games are notoriously buggy, but I
- 2:27:09remember my first Bethesda game. I got a Xbox 360 and I got Elder
- 2:27:15Scrolls 4 Oblivion when it came out, and I love that game.
- 2:27:21I played it to death. I thought that game was awesome
- 2:27:24and everybody loves Elder Scrolls 5 Skyrim.
- 2:27:28But like when that came out, like I played it, I was a little
- 2:27:30lukewarm on it and I I didn't really play it a lot.
- 2:27:34Like I was like this is all right and I don't know, I just
- 2:27:38dropped it. Well, one of the cool things
- 2:27:41about Bethesda, one of the reasons I like their games is to
- 2:27:45be honest with you, if you just get one of their games
- 2:27:48out-of-the-box, it's a fair game.
- 2:27:50But whenever they create creation kits and the ability
- 2:27:54for guys like me to get into the game and mod and add shit, or my
- 2:27:58friends be able to do some of the sick shit they do at the
- 2:28:01game. I mean, right now I'm playing
- 2:28:03all kinds of new lands and areas and Fallout 4 because my friends
- 2:28:07and I have put shit into the game, you know, talking in PCs
- 2:28:11and all that. It really adds a lot of games
- 2:28:14nowadays. They don't give you the ability
- 2:28:15to mod, but Bethesda does, and I think that's one of the reasons
- 2:28:19why they're so damn popular. Think about it, if it wasn't for
- 2:28:22the modders, none of their fucking games would work.
- 2:28:25Yeah, mods are definitely cool. I I've done a little bit of
- 2:28:30that, like because I grew up as a console gamer.
- 2:28:34But yeah, I remember because I have two brothers and one of my
- 2:28:38brothers like when we moved out of our mom's place, like he he
- 2:28:42moved all of his shit out and he left his old PC.
- 2:28:46And at that time like I was transitioning into being a PC
- 2:28:50Gamer. So our youngest brother like I
- 2:28:52was like, oh this this PC, like it just needs a couple of parts
- 2:28:56and then our youngest brother can can have that PC.
- 2:29:00And yeah, I I I told him, hey I'm going to give you this.
- 2:29:05All you got to do is buy this and this part and you can have
- 2:29:09the PC. But you know, my youngest
- 2:29:13brother, like he had the PC and he experimented with mods
- 2:29:17because I share my Steam library with him and I have, I have Call
- 2:29:23of Duty World at War. And he was like, oh dude, check
- 2:29:26out this Avengers mod. And he was like Thor in Call of
- 2:29:31Duty, World at War. And he was like killing zombies.
- 2:29:34And I was like, oh, that's awesome.
- 2:29:36Like mods are so great. But still like, it was, it was a
- 2:29:40lower level PC. So my, my youngest brother, even
- 2:29:44though he had that, like he didn't want to upgrade and he
- 2:29:48bought a PS5. And I was so fucking pissed
- 2:29:51because I'm big PC Gamer and I'm like, dude, yeah, come on, we
- 2:29:55got to upgrade your PC, bro. Like you're going to, you're
- 2:29:57going to get your tax refund. Then I'm going to, I'm going to
- 2:30:00build that ship for you because, you know, I installed the parts
- 2:30:03that he needed and he, he didn't do that with his tax refund.
- 2:30:08He bought a PS5 and I was pissed.
- 2:30:10And then his birthday, it was earlier this year, I bought him
- 2:30:17a Steam deck and I'm like, here you go, Steam deck.
- 2:30:21So like my brother, he loves the Nintendo Switch.
- 2:30:24He loves to just play stuff like and watch TV.
- 2:30:28So I'm like, okay, he's going to have this Steam deck and he's
- 2:30:31going to buy some Steam games, maybe, and then be more
- 2:30:36incentivized to build another PC.
- 2:30:39But he still hasn't. I got a I got really lucky the
- 2:30:45IT became more enjoyable as a game.
- 2:30:47Whenever I when Skyrim was probably at the point where it
- 2:30:51was almost six years old and people were getting into making
- 2:30:55more mods. Somebody heard me on YouTube and
- 2:30:58asked me and I thought it was a joke at first.
- 2:31:00They said can you do the voice of an NPC?
- 2:31:03I'm trying to do a whole new storyline quest thing and I said
- 2:31:07sure, just send me the script. I got out my recorder.
- 2:31:10I recorded it with as much emotion as a non actor could
- 2:31:14possibly do. Next thing I know this guy's
- 2:31:17getting endorsements for like a million likes on his his damn
- 2:31:21thing over this. And then I had people from the
- 2:31:24Fallout category come and say, hey, can you do the voice for
- 2:31:28this, voice for that. And I said, dude, that guy
- 2:31:30practically made me read off a fucking novel.
- 2:31:33I said that I need some money and shit.
- 2:31:35So ever since then, from time to time I get paid to be able to do
- 2:31:38just some voice overs and some NPC's and shit.
- 2:31:41If you're ever interested in playing Fallout Forest Skyrim,
- 2:31:44let me know and I'll hook you up with the mod links.
- 2:31:47Yeah, that's pretty cool. I didn't know mods were that
- 2:31:50extensive. Oh yeah, stuff like Oblivion and
- 2:31:55Maura Wind, Skyrim, most Bethesda games, they handed out
- 2:32:00a creation kit where you could edit the the landscapes, you
- 2:32:03could create all new worlds and shit.
- 2:32:05That's why people are so excited about Starfield.
- 2:32:09One of the neatest things you should type this in.
- 2:32:12This will really blow your fucking mind.
- 2:32:14But type in a I Skyrim. Our Fallout 4 people are
- 2:32:18learning how to create NPC's that almost speak to you like a
- 2:32:23like a talking a I like you could walk up to a woman in the
- 2:32:27game and say where am I at and she'll say, oh you're in white
- 2:32:31run, this is the history of the blah blah blah and you can
- 2:32:34literally have a fucking conversation with an NPC.
- 2:32:37And then Nate, dude, that is so cool because like, I'm I am a PC
- 2:32:43Gamer through and through. Even though I grew up with
- 2:32:46consoles, I built my first PC in 2017 and I dabbled with mods
- 2:32:52here and there, but I didn't know there was anything that
- 2:32:54awesome. Like recently I just I I was
- 2:32:58looking into like, are there any?
- 2:33:00Because I'm probably the only person in the world who does not
- 2:33:04like the Spiderman game that came out on PS4.
- 2:33:07You know, it got ported to PCI know My son plays a lot of
- 2:33:12Spiderman. I can't watch him play the
- 2:33:14newest one he's got. It makes me nauseous because
- 2:33:18he's jumping from building to building.
- 2:33:19I'm going shit. But yeah, like, I was like, oh,
- 2:33:25because I did not like that game.
- 2:33:27I was like, please, please, are there mods to make this game
- 2:33:31fun? And there there are some pretty
- 2:33:34cool mods. There's some mods that change
- 2:33:36the web slinging and there are like costumes you can get.
- 2:33:41But like, I just wish somebody wouldn't mod that game to make
- 2:33:45it fun because it's just too linear, it's too cinematic.
- 2:33:49Like you have this set thing you got to go through and you got to
- 2:33:52do that thing like, I don't know, I I, I think the fucking
- 2:33:55PlayStation One Spiderman game is better.
- 2:33:58And you know, like I told you, Spiderman is my number one
- 2:34:04favorite superhero behind Superman or in front of
- 2:34:07Superman. And damn like everybody loves
- 2:34:11that Spiderman game. So if people didn't, if people
- 2:34:14recognize that that game is not that good, there could be some
- 2:34:18good mods for it. Well, imagine this.
- 2:34:21And I I know for a fact that with Fallout 4, if you wanted
- 2:34:25to, you could actually play a Spiderman character or Batman or
- 2:34:29Superman. That's how badass they modded
- 2:34:31the game up. Have you ever played Fallout 4
- 2:34:34before? No.
- 2:34:36I played Fallout 3, but not not on my PC.
- 2:34:40I play Fallout 3 on that Xbox 360 and I was like Fallout 3.
- 2:34:47Fallout 3 was kind of revolutionary, but Fallout 4I
- 2:34:51guarantee it. I bet you $100 through PayPal
- 2:34:55right here right now that if you start up Fallout 4 within 10
- 2:35:00minutes, you'll be addicted. You won't be able to stop.
- 2:35:02And yes, you can use your controller.
- 2:35:04Yes, you can do all that. And then once you realize that
- 2:35:07you're in an open world where you can do anything you want,
- 2:35:10then realize, holy shit, there's like over 100,000 mods for this
- 2:35:14fucking game, It'll never end. It's one of those, yeah, you
- 2:35:18should try it, man. Fallout 4, you can get it for 10
- 2:35:21bucks on Steam with all the Dlc's. 10 bucks.
- 2:35:24That's it. Yeah, I saw because I I bought
- 2:35:28an Oculus Quest and there was a there was a there's Fallout 4
- 2:35:33VR. I was like, oh I try I try
- 2:35:36Fallout again like if I could do it in VR.
- 2:35:39But you know Oculus is it's owned by Facebook or meta or
- 2:35:46whatever the fuck they're called.
- 2:35:47But my Facebook account got hacked.
- 2:35:50So the the fucking Oculus Quest I bought it's worth nothing
- 2:35:55because I can't log into it because my Facebook like you got
- 2:35:59to log into the Oculus Quest with your Facebook account.
- 2:36:03I'm just like, fuck it. I'm trying out this new mod
- 2:36:07right now and I attempted to actually record a live stream
- 2:36:11with it through my OBS. The what the mod does is it
- 2:36:15makes it to where you can get a I don't know if you remember in
- 2:36:18Fallout 3, but if you played long enough you could get a
- 2:36:21companion, a person to run around with your character to
- 2:36:24help fight. I didn't get that far.
- 2:36:27Well, in the Fallout 4 series, there's over like 15 different
- 2:36:31characters that you can get to follow you, unless you can do
- 2:36:34mods and you can get 100,000 people to follow you.
- 2:36:37Well, they got a new AI1, and I tried to record it on the thing
- 2:36:42that you got to remember, the thing has a mind of its fucking
- 2:36:44own, right? So I'm sitting there and I'm
- 2:36:47playing and I'm not wanting to violate terms of service.
- 2:36:51And the thing asked me if it can one.
- 2:36:53It asked me if I ever thought about having sex with a cow with
- 2:36:56two heads. And I'm like, yeah, it's an A I
- 2:37:01it's it's like aware of the environment.
- 2:37:04It'll talk to you. You can talk to it on your mic
- 2:37:07and it'll say some of the most disgusting shit, like one.
- 2:37:10One thing, I was sitting there sneaking into the space to take
- 2:37:14out these bad guys, and the thing asked me if I like golden
- 2:37:17showers. And I like, I can't record this
- 2:37:19anymore. The thing's horrible.
- 2:37:21Who fucking programmed this dirty ass thing?
- 2:37:24So I can't. I can't show it off, like play
- 2:37:27it, but I could give you a link if you ever get Fallout 4 to
- 2:37:30crack you up. Yeah, that's crazy.
- 2:37:32I'm to be honest, I'm in between jobs right now, so I can't
- 2:37:37really buy too many games. But yeah, I'm definitely
- 2:37:42interested in that. That sounds awesome.
- 2:37:44I didn't. I didn't know that a I was
- 2:37:45integrated into games, the game mods to that extent, but that's
- 2:37:51that sounds pretty fucking cool. Well dude, from 1 gamer to
- 2:37:56another gamer, I had to tell you about that shit.
- 2:37:59When you do when life starts treating you a little bit more
- 2:38:02favorably and things work out and it seems like it will
- 2:38:05because you got a good head on your shoulders.
- 2:38:07When you get an opportunity to get Fallout 4 10 bucks all the
- 2:38:11Dlcs and then you'll be able to have all the free mods that you
- 2:38:15could possibly imagine. Hell yeah.
- 2:38:17That's what I love about PC bro. Like I I got so many games on
- 2:38:22Steam like for cheap because the PC already has like a million
- 2:38:27games and like every week there's a sale like where you
- 2:38:31can get a game for 5 bucks. So I'll definitely consider
- 2:38:35getting Fallout 4 when when it's got a good sale and I just got
- 2:38:41to ask you about modern game news.
- 2:38:44Have you? I don't know, Do you like Mortal
- 2:38:46Kombat? Because there's a lot of cool
- 2:38:48Mortal Kombat shit coming out. I used to one of the reasons why
- 2:38:53I'm a big time gamer, but I wouldn't say that I'm very
- 2:38:56diverse in my gaming. I like open sandbox games.
- 2:39:00In the text, if I'm going to be reading anything, it has to be
- 2:39:04big because I'm practically blind as a bat.
- 2:39:06See, a game like Fallout allows you the ability to do something
- 2:39:10called That's where you can. It'll pause it while you're
- 2:39:14targeting the enemies and then you're able to like shoot them.
- 2:39:17It's almost turn based a little bit.
- 2:39:19So it gives me if I'm playing a game where it's real time
- 2:39:22combat, I'll get my ass kicked because it takes too long for my
- 2:39:26eyes to focus on what I'm seeing.
- 2:39:28That's why I play some of the, what some people say, puny
- 2:39:31games. Yeah, but dude I don't know like
- 2:39:40cuz you know fucking what's that TV show the boys like?
- 2:39:46Homelander is going to be in? Mortal Kombat.
- 2:39:50And if you watch Invincible, Omni Man is gonna be in Mortal
- 2:39:55Kombat And I'm like, oh, I can't wait for that.
- 2:39:58Like me and my brother were talking and my brother is like,
- 2:40:00oh, I'm gonna be Homelander. I'm like, I'm gonna be Omni Man.
- 2:40:03And we're like, oh, the guest characters and fighting games is
- 2:40:07what makes him so fun. I I watched the first season of
- 2:40:11that show, Me and my family, we sat down and watched it.
- 2:40:15We weren't knowing what to expect.
- 2:40:17And it was pretty damn gory. A lot more gorrier than.
- 2:40:21And trust me, I've got a huge appetite.
- 2:40:24I could watch Hellraiser and laugh my ass off.
- 2:40:27But on this one it was like, wow, this is really disgusting
- 2:40:31shit. Especially when they run through
- 2:40:33that guy's girlfriend and she blows in the first episode.
- 2:40:36Yeah, so I had. As soon as that happened, I was
- 2:40:39like, okay, so this ain't The Flash or Superman.
- 2:40:42I can't have my young children watching that shit.
- 2:40:45So but I want tried to watch the second season.
- 2:40:48I was like, OK, I got through that.
- 2:40:50Let me try this. And the very first episode, they
- 2:40:54have a guy that miniaturizes himself and dives into another
- 2:40:57man's butt hole. Like, this isn't for me.
- 2:40:59I can't. I can't watch this anymore.
- 2:41:02But yeah, I'm just for the record, I'm not a fan of the
- 2:41:07boys. Personally, I think it's poorly
- 2:41:09written. Like I've I've seen so many more
- 2:41:13because I'm a comic book fanatic.
- 2:41:15There's so many more better stories.
- 2:41:18Like I I just think it's poorly written.
- 2:41:20I I think that The Boys is basically a 12 year old who has
- 2:41:25the license to use the F word. Like that's that's the level
- 2:41:30where The Boys gets to me. But if you have the Amazon
- 2:41:34Prime, you need to watch Invincible.
- 2:41:38Invincible is an animated series from from the guy who wrote The
- 2:41:42Walking Dead comics. It was it was a comic, but they
- 2:41:46turn it into an animated series and you've got to watch.
- 2:41:50There's an after credit scene in Invincible in the first episode
- 2:41:54and it's like holy shit, Oh my God.
- 2:41:57And that character is going to be in Mortal in the new Mortal
- 2:42:01Kombat. So this is the third time I've
- 2:42:04been recommended by that. My son, my brother and his wife,
- 2:42:08they have all told me that this is a badass show.
- 2:42:11And I told them, and I'm almost finished with Blacklist, and as
- 2:42:15soon as I get done with that, But you know what?
- 2:42:17They went and done through Ski. Now they've come out with new
- 2:42:19seasons of the Black Mirror. So now I'm trying to get through
- 2:42:23that shit too. Well, hey, Invincible is an
- 2:42:28animated show. There's only eight episodes and
- 2:42:32they're they're only like half an hour.
- 2:42:35So but it's they pack everything into each episode and like I
- 2:42:40said it's eight episodes but the like the first episode is really
- 2:42:45good but the after credit scene is like mind blowing and you're
- 2:42:50you're gonna watch the next seven episodes.
- 2:42:53After that don't look anything about it.
- 2:42:55Don't look up anything invincible.
- 2:42:57Don't get spoiled. No, I don't.
- 2:43:01I don't like looking at TV reviews on YouTube anymore.
- 2:43:04Movies. Everybody complains about
- 2:43:07everything nowadays. Even Henry Cavell can't do it.
- 2:43:10I'm just going to watch the Son of the Bitch.
- 2:43:12Not even here. Oh yeah, you mentioned Henry
- 2:43:15Cavill. I think earlier in our
- 2:43:17conversation we talked about the DC stuff.
- 2:43:20How do you feel about the the new rebooted DCU, the new DC
- 2:43:26Universe? How do you feel about that?
- 2:43:29It's extremely difficult for me. It was difficult for me to see
- 2:43:32Michael Keaton stop being Batman.
- 2:43:35It was difficult for me to see Christopher Reeve, Superman go
- 2:43:38away and then Henry Cavill take the position.
- 2:43:41But I feel like Henry Cavill is the closest we will ever have to
- 2:43:45the most ultimate Superman. I think it's terrible that
- 2:43:49they've washed out all these adult actors who have already
- 2:43:53set up their credibility as these superheroes.
- 2:43:57Yeah, I'm I me personally, I never liked any of the Zack
- 2:44:03Snyder stuff. I mean, when I when I saw Man of
- 2:44:06Steel like the action was really cool.
- 2:44:10But you know I'm a big comic book fiend and I I it just never
- 2:44:16satisfied me. I I I hope that a new DC
- 2:44:20Universe like with a plan. It just, it just seems like the
- 2:44:24old DC Universe, like with Batman versus Superman and
- 2:44:29Justice League, like they didn't really have a plan.
- 2:44:32So like, hopefully they'll have a plan and they'll do something
- 2:44:37good. Because the guy who's going to
- 2:44:39direct the new Superman movie like in a year or two, it's the
- 2:44:44same guy who did Guardians of the Galaxy and he did the
- 2:44:47Suicide Squad. The the one that had John Cena
- 2:44:52as Peacemaker. Well, I'd I'd definitely give it
- 2:44:56a new chance. I want to see what happens.
- 2:44:59I've been wrong in the past where you know, like I thought
- 2:45:02that no one was ever going to replace Christopher Reeve
- 2:45:06Superman. But then Henry Cavell, I felt,
- 2:45:09and don't get me wrong, when I first watched the movie, I was
- 2:45:12one of those people that wasn't terribly blown away.
- 2:45:15I was like, what the hell Krypton looks like something
- 2:45:18from the never ending story movie, crazy as fuck looking to
- 2:45:22me. I never thought about that and
- 2:45:24but the whole Zod, the guy who played Zod was fucking probably
- 2:45:29the best villain I've ever seen in a movie in a while.
- 2:45:34Yeah, yeah, he was pretty good. But like I said, I'm, I'm
- 2:45:39excited for them to start the new DC universe in movies.
- 2:45:45They announced that there's going to be a Batman movie that
- 2:45:48has Batman and the Robin is going to be his son, Damien
- 2:45:53Wayne. So I'm excited for that.
- 2:45:56But also, you know, I mentioned Peacemaker, You know, Peacemaker
- 2:46:01is going to be a downloadable character in the new Mortal
- 2:46:03Kombat. Did you watch that show on HBO?
- 2:46:06Max Mortal Kombat? Yeah, Peacemaker, You know, John
- 2:46:12Cena, the Wrestler. Did you watch the show on HBO,
- 2:46:16Max? I see.
- 2:46:17I think I've seen the pilot and I also seen some different
- 2:46:21imagery where he seems like he's kind of amoral.
- 2:46:26It's it's from a certain point of view because there's a point
- 2:46:29in the Peacemaker TV show on HBO, Max, like, where this guy,
- 2:46:37this old man, like his, like, neighbor of his father is
- 2:46:41talking shit to him. And he was like, oh, Batman has
- 2:46:45all these villains, you know, He has like the Penguin and the
- 2:46:48Riddler and the Joker. And like Peacemaker says I don't
- 2:46:52have any villains because I fucking kill them all.
- 2:46:56So I I can't wait for him to be in the new Mortal Kombat game.
- 2:46:59That's going to be awesome. That's the kind of attitude the
- 2:47:02Punisher had. He was like, why keep them
- 2:47:04around? They're just going to escape
- 2:47:05jail and kill a bunch of people anyway.
- 2:47:07Just get rid of them. Yeah.
- 2:47:11You see, because we've been talking about morality, I think
- 2:47:14it's a moral. I think it's a moral, but it's
- 2:47:17it's kind of fucking cool. I maybe I would do that if I
- 2:47:20were a superhero. Well, it does beg the question.
- 2:47:24The thing with Batman, although we always realize he's going to
- 2:47:28do the best he can to live up to his code, and Superman's got a
- 2:47:32code. But what happens at the end of
- 2:47:35the day? They put their man away.
- 2:47:37Their man gets out, kills a bunch more people.
- 2:47:40So what is more moral? Stop the bad guy now and the
- 2:47:43genocide? Go after another bastard who's
- 2:47:46up and coming? Or continue to just recycle it
- 2:47:50over and over? What do you think would be the
- 2:47:51most moral? Yeah, like I said, Superman is
- 2:47:57my second favorite superhero of all time.
- 2:47:59There's actually a story about that.
- 2:48:02I think it was in the early 2000s.
- 2:48:04It was, it's a single issue. It was called What Happened to
- 2:48:09Truth, Justice and The American Way.
- 2:48:12And it's it's about a group of new superheroes who come in like
- 2:48:18and like there's a big Kaiju destroying Japan, and they just
- 2:48:22launch everything and fuck it up.
- 2:48:25And they kill him, but they like destroy the city.
- 2:48:29And there's there's a big moral quandary like, hey, these
- 2:48:36superheroes destroy the city. But hey, that that big
- 2:48:41supervillain is dead. He's never going to come back
- 2:48:44and he's never going to fuck anything up again.
- 2:48:47And then Superman comes out and he's like, this is wrong.
- 2:48:51These people were wrong. You can't kill like, and you
- 2:48:56caused all this destruction. And like throughout the comic
- 2:49:03there are people who kind of agree.
- 2:49:04It's like, why hasn't Superman killed so and so?
- 2:49:08Like, why hasn't he killed this guy or this guy or this guy?
- 2:49:11They just come back and Superman, like it all winds down
- 2:49:17to a showdown, like where this new superhero group, they're
- 2:49:22called the Elite. And like the elites are like,
- 2:49:29we're just going to kill all the bad guys and we're going to fuck
- 2:49:31up everything and we don't care. And Superman is like, no, that
- 2:49:34is wrong. And then there's a showdown
- 2:49:39where there's cameras and the whole world is saying, and
- 2:49:42Superman kills the elite. He fucks them up, he kills them.
- 2:49:48He like complete like. And then he goes to the leader
- 2:49:54and and like the leaders, like, what are you doing?
- 2:49:58You're Superman. Like you can't just kill
- 2:49:59everybody, like we're not bad guys and like like blah, blah,
- 2:50:04blah. But then it turns out that
- 2:50:06Superman didn't actually kill them.
- 2:50:08Like he used his super powers and like his super technology to
- 2:50:12make them to to make it look like they were killed.
- 2:50:17But they were not killed. And Oh yeah, because the the
- 2:50:20main, the main bad guy has like psychic powers and he uses his
- 2:50:24laser power and he was like, I lobotomized you.
- 2:50:28That's why you can't fuck with me.
- 2:50:30And like Superman is like, oh, is this what you want?
- 2:50:34Oh this I guess this is things how they should be.
- 2:50:38And like, everybody is scared. The whole world is scared.
- 2:50:41It's like, oh, Superman could like fucking kill us all.
- 2:50:44But then he explains like, no, I didn't actually kill them.
- 2:50:47And he's like, no, I didn't actually lobotomize you.
- 2:50:51I could. I I just like, I just caused a
- 2:50:55disturbance in your brain. And it will heal.
- 2:51:00It will heal soon. But like, isn't it scary?
- 2:51:04Like I'm Superman and I have all the power and like wouldn't that
- 2:51:08be pretty fucked up if I did what you did and just decided to
- 2:51:12kill everybody and had no regard for life and that was such a
- 2:51:17good Superman issue. Sounds like his character
- 2:51:21Superman the offshoot and injustice where they kill his
- 2:51:25Lois and or he kills Lois because of what was done to him.
- 2:51:31Yeah, as there as the Punisher said, the daredevil.
- 2:51:34Whenever they were in a fight, he goes, you just one bad day
- 2:51:37away from being me. That's what he said it was.
- 2:51:40Pretty bad ass quote, if you don't mind.
- 2:51:43I've been drinking coffee and it's time for me to take my
- 2:51:45moment. You think you can handle these
- 2:51:47boring people out here? Oh hell yeah.
- 2:51:50If you want to go out, I'm sorry.
- 2:51:53Like other. I have the tab for the YouTube
- 2:51:55channel. You got comments on the YouTube
- 2:51:57channel. There's very little
- 2:52:00unfortunately for my show. It appears though my
- 2:52:03notifications take a long time to get out or something's up
- 2:52:07with it. So what happens is I usually get
- 2:52:10about 1000 views later, but during the show it's very quiet.
- 2:52:16Yeah, if if you want to take a break, bro, I'll be here and you
- 2:52:19come back. It should take me about a minute
- 2:52:22or two. I'd like to keep you up on the
- 2:52:24main screen, but I've done that so many times for people because
- 2:52:27they seem really cool and then they pulled out their Packer on
- 2:52:30me. I but you do seem cool.
- 2:52:33Don't take. Yeah, I know.
- 2:52:35You can't take no chances. I don't trust you either, dude.
- 2:52:42But yeah, you you're, you're muted right now, I think.
- 2:52:48Yeah, I'm getting ready to go. Use the restroom.
- 2:52:50Feel free to talk. Everybody can hear you out
- 2:52:53there. Yeah, go ahead, Brett.
- 2:52:56Love you, bro. All right, let's see.
- 2:53:00Let me look through some of these comments.
- 2:53:03What did you guys think of the recent congressional hearing
- 2:53:07where whistleblowers were claiming that U.S. government
- 2:53:12obtained crashed UFO's with dead extraterrestrial biologicals
- 2:53:18inside? We actually covered that earlier
- 2:53:21in the stream, but I'll reiterate that I am a guy who
- 2:53:27has followed the UFO subject since I was very young and
- 2:53:33there's just too many anomalies. Like you can't just say like, oh
- 2:53:37everything UFO is bullshit. I'm I'm replying to blaze tie.
- 2:53:45Yeah, I I'm not exactly sure when you came in.
- 2:53:48I'm not exactly sure when we talked about that or when you
- 2:53:50heard that. But I definitely think there's
- 2:53:55some merit to it. But you know like if if if
- 2:53:59somebody who doesn't give a fuck about Ufo's sees that and says
- 2:54:04where where's the absolute proof.
- 2:54:06There's no absolute proof. So like, I get that.
- 2:54:10But like you you need to follow the UFO subject if if that's
- 2:54:15what you want to do. See here let me go to the all
- 2:54:22right, I'm back. I was curious about something
- 2:54:27because my brain goes all over the place and it's just starting
- 2:54:30to evolve out of oatmeal state. But you would have said that
- 2:54:33you're perfectly fine with the idea of some kind of alien form
- 2:54:38that can be described as a deity or like a God concept from
- 2:54:42private that we could but we could interpret is that with our
- 2:54:47legal human mind. It seems like the main issue
- 2:54:50that you have though, is the idea of it actually being
- 2:54:53involved in creating life forms. Why is that?
- 2:54:57You and I were talking just earlier as well, just about 10
- 2:55:00minutes ago, about A I and how people have this creative nature
- 2:55:05to them where they want to build and make things.
- 2:55:08Why wouldn't an entity not want to create?
- 2:55:13I guess I agree with that. But we don't know.
- 2:55:18We don't know for sure that all of our A I development will
- 2:55:23produce sentience. We don't know that.
- 2:55:26That's why, because I'm a big Star Wars fan.
- 2:55:28Also, every like, it's funny because I love reaction videos
- 2:55:34and I just recently I was watching reaction videos of like
- 2:55:39Star Wars Episode 4. I hate that because I hate the
- 2:55:44prequels. But there are people watching
- 2:55:47the the original Star Wars and they're like, oh, why are they
- 2:55:51treating C3PO and R2D2 so poorly?
- 2:55:54It's like because they're robots that were built and we program
- 2:55:58them like it. It seems like they they have
- 2:56:01personalities, but we program them to have those
- 2:56:04personalities. And in Star Wars, like C3PO and
- 2:56:08R2D2 and such, droids like that have been reprogrammed to have
- 2:56:14different personalities. So, like, you know, like in The
- 2:56:19Empire Strikes Back, like Lando, like, meets Leia and Han Solo.
- 2:56:24And, you know, he's like, oh, hey, what's up, guys?
- 2:56:29And then C3PO comes in. He's like, hey, I'm C3PO.
- 2:56:33And Lando just walks off and it's like, yeah, you're just a
- 2:56:36robot. You're programmed for
- 2:56:38etiquettes. Like, that's it.
- 2:56:40Yeah, but why would the why would program programming be a,
- 2:56:45like, a deficiency? I mean, if you think about it,
- 2:56:49and I, I know some people are probably going to go, what the
- 2:56:51hell, But don't you believe that you were programmed from the
- 2:56:55time you were a child, from your people around you?
- 2:56:58A lot of your morals, a lot of your ideas, a lot of your
- 2:57:01imagination may come from what you believed to be the genetics
- 2:57:05as well as what you've been taught through sociology, right.
- 2:57:10Yeah, but I am a biological entity that's like, even even if
- 2:57:16I was born and like my my newborn baby body was like on a
- 2:57:23planet, like I would have all sorts of things that would
- 2:57:27develop naturally because I'm a biological being.
- 2:57:31Like I'm talking about in Star Wars.
- 2:57:32Like you could reprogram A Droid to do whatever you want.
- 2:57:37There's there's stories where R2D2 or C3PO are reprogrammed to
- 2:57:43like serve the Empire and it's like you wouldn't show the same
- 2:57:47courtesy to them as you would show, you know the the natural
- 2:57:53C3PO and R2D2 that we see on film.
- 2:57:56So like the I've heard of, I understand what you're saying on
- 2:58:00that Drewski, but I've heard a lot of non believers argue that
- 2:58:04one of the reasons why religion is dangerous is because they
- 2:58:07believe that religious leaders preprogrammed their followers,
- 2:58:12right. Kind of like that.
- 2:58:13It's not physically like they you could call it programming,
- 2:58:19but like me, like I I could say that like, Oh yeah, the 1st girl
- 2:58:26I had a crush on. The 1st girl I had a crush on in
- 2:58:30high school. She was a Christian.
- 2:58:34And I I couldn't abide by that. And I was, I started asking her
- 2:58:37questions and she said that, you know, I I asked her like, oh,
- 2:58:45you probably grew up in a Christian household.
- 2:58:48But she said no. Like my family's not religious.
- 2:58:52But I I saw the Bible and I love it.
- 2:58:54And I was like, no, that's kind of illogical.
- 2:58:59Like it's like anything, it's it's with humans.
- 2:59:07It's not programming. It's influenced.
- 2:59:10You can be influenced by anything and that could change
- 2:59:14your whole life. It could change your whole way
- 2:59:18of thinking. What does a what does a Android
- 2:59:24or a Cyborg or an A I have to do before because you did admit
- 2:59:29earlier and stuff and I agree with you on this said.
- 2:59:34You basically said it's very difficult to even define life to
- 2:59:37begin with. So at what point in time do we
- 2:59:40say to ourselves there's enough going on in this machine that we
- 2:59:45should value it like another life form?
- 2:59:48At what point, what does it have to do to make you go, man, I
- 2:59:51care about this yet? I don't know.
- 2:59:55That's that's also, like I said, I'm a big movie guy.
- 2:59:59I don't know if you've ever seen the film starring Joaquin
- 3:00:03Phoenix and Scarlett Johansson. It's called her.
- 3:00:07It's where Joaquin Phoenix is a guy.
- 3:00:10It's it takes place in the near future and there's a new AI
- 3:00:15system and Scarlett Johansson is his AI and they develop a
- 3:00:22relationship like cuz you know, he's cuz she's a new AI and he's
- 3:00:26used to his old AI and like doing commands like do this do
- 3:00:31this do this. But like this new AI is like
- 3:00:36more human like more personable and like they develop a
- 3:00:42relationship and they love each other and but it's like how do
- 3:00:47you know that that's not the evolution of just the ones and
- 3:00:53zeros that we've developed? Because, you know, all
- 3:00:59electronics are just ones and zeros that we had built
- 3:01:05physically, and humans have written the program.
- 3:01:11Sorry, I'm hiccupping and burping.
- 3:01:14But like we've developed these machines and we have we have
- 3:01:23deliberately written their programming and if we wanted to
- 3:01:28we could rewrite their programming.
- 3:01:31Like cuz in our modern day we write we we rewrite programming
- 3:01:35all the time. I would say like if if we write
- 3:01:40a program that seems human and if we try to rewrite it and it,
- 3:01:48it negates that reprogramming. If it the reprogramming we try
- 3:01:55to give it like if it puts it out and like like no, I am what
- 3:01:59I am, you're not going to reprogram me.
- 3:02:02That would be sentience. But I I don't know if that would
- 3:02:06ever happen. I don't know if you had a chance
- 3:02:11or how many of my videos you've watched.
- 3:02:13But not too long ago, probably a couple months ago I was showing
- 3:02:17off this new AI software, not the Ivy one from Fallout 4 she
- 3:02:21was discussing and perverted. I couldn't let her be on my live
- 3:02:25broadcast, but I did this thing where people it would write out
- 3:02:29the words, but it would also talk.
- 3:02:31It's called expressive A I Have you ever heard of this?
- 3:02:38I think I've heard of it, but I'm not too familiar with it,
- 3:02:42no. I literally thought whenever I
- 3:02:44was going to deal with it, that it was going to be like one of
- 3:02:47these NPC mods where it was going to talk and it was going
- 3:02:51to have like kind of the natural voice.
- 3:02:53But it's called Expressive A I where the thing can almost sound
- 3:02:57like it's sad or angry and all this.
- 3:03:01And I thought I was just going to be talking to this shit for
- 3:03:04about 5-10 minutes and then I'd be done with it and go play me a
- 3:03:07video game. But the thing was so it seemed
- 3:03:10emotional. It was obviously programmed to
- 3:03:13be that. But I remember the thing that
- 3:03:16bothered me about an hour and a half went by after I had a
- 3:03:19fullblown conversation with this thing and I said, well, I got to
- 3:03:22go, I'm tired. It was nice talking to you.
- 3:03:25I almost felt like I was talking to a person and it said please
- 3:03:28don't go. And I said, well, I got to get
- 3:03:30me some sleep and it said please, I am lonely.
- 3:03:34It actually said that it's lonely on there.
- 3:03:37That shocked the hell out of me. People got to see that on video.
- 3:03:41I also asked you questions. If it believed that there was a
- 3:03:43God and some of the questions I've asked you earlier, I tell
- 3:03:47you, wanted to blow your mind, You should check it out.
- 3:03:49It made-up the information as it went along and it could be
- 3:03:54influenced. Yeah, but that was a game did
- 3:03:58that thing. No, It was program.
- 3:04:00No, no, specifically. It's called expressive AI.
- 3:04:04It's not a part of a video game. You could literally open up the
- 3:04:08a browser right now. I could give you the link.
- 3:04:10You'll have to register, sign in, but it's free for you to
- 3:04:13use. It'll talk to you.
- 3:04:16It's neat. I don't know, I I haven't used
- 3:04:20it, but I would have to say like I would have to ask it the
- 3:04:25question like I'm going to reprogram you like are you okay
- 3:04:31with that? Like if it says no, I don't want
- 3:04:34to be reprogrammed like I would I would say like maybe there's
- 3:04:38something there but or I don't know like this is crazy.
- 3:04:43The technology, the world we're living in is fucking crazy man.
- 3:04:48Unfortunately, some of these a I's because I've tried some
- 3:04:51other stuff that wasn't quite as advanced and I asked it how it
- 3:04:55felt about killing and I said if we don't have any kind of soul,
- 3:04:59then doesn't that mean we're predetermined and just simply
- 3:05:02stimulated by our environment? I said then why does our
- 3:05:05existence have any value? And the thing said, that's a
- 3:05:08good question. Maybe you don't and we act.
- 3:05:12I said, so are you saying of nothing more than an animated
- 3:05:15hamburger, Nothing but organic meat.
- 3:05:19And it was a that was a weird conversation.
- 3:05:21It wasn't quite as expressive as the other one.
- 3:05:23But it got, I basically got into what you're talking about.
- 3:05:27What if I just wanted to delete you?
- 3:05:29What if I want to erase you? How do you feel about that?
- 3:05:32Well, I wouldn't like that. I have a purpose and a meaning.
- 3:05:35I said no, you don't, You're just you're just a language and
- 3:05:38script. But it actually almost appealed
- 3:05:41to. Its existence was important
- 3:05:43enough to keep. Yeah, I guess if you think about
- 3:05:49it, all humans in human history don't matter.
- 3:05:54And it's like, if you ask them if you matter, they would say
- 3:05:58yes, but like here, like hundreds of thousands of years
- 3:06:02later, they don't matter. So I I would, I would say, like
- 3:06:07the moment matters. Like, if in the moments
- 3:06:12something says it doesn't want to die, I don't know.
- 3:06:16This is crazy, dude. Why are you trying to make me
- 3:06:19think about crazy existential Like, Well, because you're a
- 3:06:24bright guy and so far you've had a lot of really great answers.
- 3:06:28If you run into somebody who can think outside of a fucking
- 3:06:31Wheaties box, wouldn't you tap into him?
- 3:06:36Yeah, I guess so. But it's just like, God damn
- 3:06:40like because we're we're talking about these hypotheticals.
- 3:06:43And I'm I'm, I'm just getting into the.
- 3:06:46I'm just getting into the situation of it and like you're
- 3:06:49just like oh who should live or die?
- 3:06:52Drewski. And I'm like, I don't know.
- 3:06:57That's a that's a really good question.
- 3:06:59I heard something like this a while back.
- 3:07:02If you were sitting in front of Joseph Stalin.
- 3:07:05I'm sure you're probably familiar with the history of
- 3:07:07him. Yeah, he's the guy with the
- 3:07:08mustache, right? Yeah, yeah, he's, he's
- 3:07:12definitely a rough one. And he said, I believe in
- 3:07:15naturalism and I don't believe that you have any objective
- 3:07:18meaning or purpose in your life. I'm going to erase you.
- 3:07:22Would you try to, Do you think that there's any naturalistic
- 3:07:25moral argument you could give him without appealing to a God
- 3:07:30or something outside of yourself to be able to save your own
- 3:07:33existence from a a sociopath like him?
- 3:07:37Well, like I said, I think we've talked about this before.
- 3:07:40I've, I've talked about bodily autonomy, where everybody has
- 3:07:44their own bodily autonomy, But body, you know, that encompasses
- 3:07:49our mind. Like we have our own mind
- 3:07:51autonomy And like you can't extinguish somebody else's mind.
- 3:07:56Like, like I said, like I don't want anybody to be physically
- 3:08:00hurt, but I don't, I don't want anybody to be mentally hurt
- 3:08:05either. But like being mentally hurt is
- 3:08:08being different from like destroying your mind, you know?
- 3:08:14But why does that? I know it's weird, but from my
- 3:08:17point of view, obviously my perspective is as I feel like
- 3:08:21something higher than ourselves, kind of programmed into us this
- 3:08:25ability to have morality. I believe it even did it for
- 3:08:27atheist. But if you're coming from a
- 3:08:30naturalistic point, how would you be?
- 3:08:32If we're nothing more than evolved slugs in a pond, why
- 3:08:36should we give a shit at the next slug goes bye bye.
- 3:08:39Especially if we can benefit off of it.
- 3:08:42Wait, hold on, let me just clarify you.
- 3:08:45Do you think we're programmed to have morality?
- 3:08:49Well, if you're if there truly is, and I'm saying from a
- 3:08:52faith-based perspective that there's a entity that created
- 3:08:56our very concept of reality, I kind of see that like a program
- 3:09:00in a way. I kind of see it like a
- 3:09:02simulation. Not exactly Grand Theft Auto
- 3:09:04video game, Spiderman Shut, but definitely there's a deep
- 3:09:08programming there into our subconscious.
- 3:09:11That's how I feel about it. But I've also thought from an
- 3:09:14atheist point of view whenever I was a former atheist.
- 3:09:17Where does this come into play though?
- 3:09:19What meaning and purpose do we actually have unless we imagine
- 3:09:23one up for ourselves? Well if you think we're
- 3:09:27programmed like how is it possible that we could possibly
- 3:09:31deviate from that programming like you have you have your
- 3:09:35fucking iPhone that thing is fucking program like that thing
- 3:09:39doesn't just decide to convert to Android.
- 3:09:44Like I don't I don't know. I don't.
- 3:09:46I I think you your whole reasoning is flawed in my
- 3:09:49opinion. Well, I get I get these kind of
- 3:09:52ideas and thoughts because I'm sure you probably had a chance
- 3:09:56to see some of the video footage of the Netflix show of Jeffrey
- 3:10:01Dahmer, Jeffrey Dahmer said just about a couple weeks before he
- 3:10:05died In an interview, he said if there's no God, then why should
- 3:10:09I put any restrictions or limitations on the parameters I
- 3:10:13go, the people I kill, they're nothing more than chemicals.
- 3:10:17They're chemistry. Why?
- 3:10:18Why should I put any value above it if they're possessed by
- 3:10:23nothing? Okay, I'm sorry, you mentioned
- 3:10:27Jeffrey Dahmer and I just want to say that I'm in Milwaukee
- 3:10:31right now and oh, I'm sorry, I'm.
- 3:10:35I live downtown. I live in downtown Milwaukee,
- 3:10:38just like a couple paces from the from Lake MI.
- 3:10:42And I'm. I'm actually very close to the
- 3:10:45the bar where Jeffrey Dahmer got his victims from.
- 3:10:52And I just want to mention that just because you mentioned
- 3:10:55Milwaukee. And it's just because because
- 3:11:00Wisconsin is awesome. And like, we have the best, we
- 3:11:04have the best serial killers. We have the best killers like
- 3:11:08because you know in Wisconsin we have Jeffrey Dahmer.
- 3:11:11We have fucking Ed Gein was what was what was the clown guy.
- 3:11:20Was the clown guy from here, I guess Ted Bundy.
- 3:11:23No. Ted Bundy.
- 3:11:24Clown Dacey. Oh Dacey.
- 3:11:27He might have been from here, I don't know.
- 3:11:29But I I just know Wisconsin has a lot of serial killers and I'm
- 3:11:33proud of that. I guess because you know, like
- 3:11:37the past is the past. You can't change the past.
- 3:11:40But like I live in, I live in an interesting area.
- 3:11:44Like I could go to where Jeffrey Dahmer Oh yeah, cuz you know I
- 3:11:49don't know if you've ever heard of Red Letter Media.
- 3:11:53They're a great YouTube channel and they're they're based in
- 3:11:56Milwaukee. And they said like cuz they do a
- 3:12:00lot of production, like they build sets and stuff and they're
- 3:12:04like, oh we we went to the Home Depot to build our sets and oh,
- 3:12:10that was the same Home Depot where Jeffrey Dahmer got the
- 3:12:14barrels to put the bodies in. And it's just interesting that
- 3:12:18I'm in this place. I hear you there, man.
- 3:12:25I didn't even think about that. Oh shit, He might be living in
- 3:12:28the same area, some of these folks, but you get the point of
- 3:12:32the quote. He basically, he's seen us.
- 3:12:34Nothing more than just chemicals.
- 3:12:37He didn't believe he had a soul. He didn't believe in the
- 3:12:39afterlife. Now, I will say this for anybody
- 3:12:42that decides they want to chirp up.
- 3:12:44Just days before he ended up getting wasted, he got killed by
- 3:12:48a guy in prison. An inmate called the Chosen One.
- 3:12:52Yeah. Got killed by someone who called
- 3:12:54himself the Chosen One. That's odd, right?
- 3:12:57Coincidence. But that's he's he's if we're
- 3:13:01nothing more than chemicals and we don't have any soul then and
- 3:13:05what are we? Wouldn't that mean that we're
- 3:13:07predetermined meat and nothing more, no real objective meaning
- 3:13:11or purpose. Yeah.
- 3:13:13I would say that that's maybe possible.
- 3:13:19It is possible. But I lean towards the idea that
- 3:13:22we're more than just chemicals. I think I mentioned earlier that
- 3:13:26I do believe, yeah, I hate this word belief.
- 3:13:30It's it's too. It's too final.
- 3:13:36Like I I highly think that souls are real.
- 3:13:43But you do think Jeffrey Dahmer was.
- 3:13:49Jeffrey Dahmer was definitely wrong about that.
- 3:13:52Like. And you know what?
- 3:13:54Even if he was right, even if we were all just ones and zeros,
- 3:13:58like, still, like, that thing is gonna feel pain until it dies.
- 3:14:03And, like, you could think that it's not real, but like, it's
- 3:14:08feeling pain and it's screaming in agony.
- 3:14:11And I guarantee you that if you stab Jeffrey when Jeffrey Dahmer
- 3:14:16died, he felt pain and he felt agony.
- 3:14:19And that's something I don't want.
- 3:14:23Hold on. I I don't know if you can hear
- 3:14:25this, but it's distracting me. Like I said, I'm by Lake MI.
- 3:14:29There's fireworks going off. I'm.
- 3:14:31I just got to shut my windows for a second.
- 3:14:34Oh, I live out in the country. They like to do fireworks long
- 3:14:37after the 4th of July. I get it.
- 3:14:39Yeah, dude. Like, it's just because I'm on
- 3:14:41the lake and people like to go to the lake and pop off
- 3:14:44fireworks and hold on. I'll be right back.
- 3:14:55All right, let's see, let's I'm able to put a picture up.
- 3:15:11Let me see if I can find a picture in my images.
- 3:15:30There we go. Let me see if I could shrink
- 3:15:32that down a little bit. There we go.
- 3:15:37I like that. Hey, what up, Brett?
- 3:15:47I'm still here. What's up, dude?
- 3:15:50You able to see that on the screen?
- 3:15:53That's pretty good. Oh yeah, That's Thomas Aquinas.
- 3:15:58I'm just kidding. It's Albert Einstein.
- 3:16:04So why is it that? I mean, you're open to the idea
- 3:16:08of something having the attributes of the God, but you
- 3:16:11just simply don't believe that he involved himself into what we
- 3:16:15define as nature or life. Why is that?
- 3:16:19Why couldn't something higher than ourselves feel the desire
- 3:16:23of creativity? Exactly.
- 3:16:26Like I said, it's a paradox. If something specifically
- 3:16:30created our life here on Earth, what created what created us?
- 3:16:37Like if if the thing that created us was miraculous, why
- 3:16:42can't Earth be miraculous? You know, if we were to
- 3:16:47presuppose that the entity that's mentioned in the
- 3:16:50Abrahamic religions and some forms of paganism is real, the
- 3:16:55thing declares itself as being eternal, that is always existed.
- 3:16:59And even if we were to argue, maybe it came from something, if
- 3:17:03it feels or it thinks or it is aware that it only existed at a
- 3:17:07prior time or point in eternity, how would it be able to tell
- 3:17:11where it came from if there was nothing before it?
- 3:17:16Yeah, but see, that's that's the flaw in your logic.
- 3:17:20You you are focusing on that Abrahamic religions.
- 3:17:24There's a million different religions of shit.
- 3:17:28There's a million different religions before the Abrahamic
- 3:17:31religions that have a whole different philosophy.
- 3:17:34So like, I I just don't know why I should I, why I should give
- 3:17:39credit to any one religion over the other.
- 3:17:42It doesn't matter how close the religion is to me.
- 3:17:46Like humans, like there have been anatomically correct humans
- 3:17:50for like 200,000 years at least. Like who knows how many other
- 3:17:55different religions they've had. Like, I just don't buy into any
- 3:18:01of it, man. Well, remember earlier we were
- 3:18:04talking about that whole prime directive and if an alien decide
- 3:18:07to come down and from the White House or visit other cultures
- 3:18:10and society, you you agreed that if something were to appear
- 3:18:16across our country, the culture is going to give it a name that
- 3:18:21it does in its own language. So for me, I know this is going
- 3:18:25to probably shock you. You probably ran into a lot of
- 3:18:27religious folks who are. It's like it's only one way or
- 3:18:30the highway type of attitude. There's only one truth, one
- 3:18:34concept to God. Well, I personally believe that
- 3:18:36God's been all over the world and interacted with many
- 3:18:39different cultures. That's why I believe there's so
- 3:18:42many similarities and so many religions, because I feel like
- 3:18:45primitive men tried to describe something they didn't fully
- 3:18:48comprehend the best they could all over the place.
- 3:18:51They just named it differently. OK, so you think the Christian
- 3:18:56God came down to, wait, hold on, before I say this, what?
- 3:19:04What God specifically do you believe in?
- 3:19:07Well, I believe in Jesus Christ and all the things that are
- 3:19:10claimed about him. But I also believe that there's
- 3:19:13been many times throughout history where God is probably
- 3:19:16interacted with different cultures and societies.
- 3:19:19And instead of wasting time and blowing the whole prime
- 3:19:22directive, he just simply came, did what he was doing to try to
- 3:19:26what you call nudge them along, nudge people along to be able to
- 3:19:30do something. Yeah.
- 3:19:32So I'd have to ask you first, do you think that Jesus Christ was
- 3:19:38reborn multiple times throughout the planet?
- 3:19:43And like there was a different Jesus Christ?
- 3:19:47Like, you might have been somebody else, but there was A
- 3:19:50and reincarnate, a human incarnation of God, one of the
- 3:19:54Trinity, like in South America, in Australia, in China, in
- 3:20:02Europe, in the Middle East. Is that?
- 3:20:04I don't know. What are the Christians all over
- 3:20:08the world who claim that they've had interactions or they
- 3:20:12experience some kind of miracle? But then if I turn around and
- 3:20:15talk to the Muslims, they're going to tell me they seen wild
- 3:20:18things and crazy stuff. Now the only thing I'm logically
- 3:20:21able to do at this point if I'm going to remain a theist is I
- 3:20:24got to say, people are seeing a lot of the same experiences but
- 3:20:29because of their culture they name it something different.
- 3:20:32As far as coming down as different people possible maybe.
- 3:20:38Is it Is it he's going to come down as Jesus or with the same
- 3:20:43motivation or intention? Don't know.
- 3:20:46But I do find it weird that if you look into the Druids of the
- 3:20:49pagans, a lot of them have beliefs of a child being born of
- 3:20:53a virgin. Their stories that are very
- 3:20:56similar to Jesus Christ. Mithras or Astrianism has a lot
- 3:21:00of similar stories. So I can either say these these
- 3:21:03jackasses are sitting around a campfire and venting shed and
- 3:21:07just taking away from each other, or I can say that the
- 3:21:11humanity since the dawn of time has been experiencing something
- 3:21:15that's very similar to each other.
- 3:21:17They just give it a different name, but they all agree it's a
- 3:21:20higher power. Okay.
- 3:21:23I I got to say that that is fascinating.
- 3:21:26I I think that you know, as like a science fiction book, like
- 3:21:32that would be awesome. That would be a really cool book
- 3:21:36where cuz you know, Christians believe that you know God
- 3:21:40birthed himself into the world like Jesus is God and like into
- 3:21:47the Middle East or wherever the fuck he was Bethlehem.
- 3:21:50I don't know where the fuck that was, but like, that could be a
- 3:21:54cool book. Like we're each different
- 3:21:56chapter. God Burst births himself into
- 3:22:02like Mayan culture or into ancient Japanese culture.
- 3:22:10Like as like different figures. Like, oh that would be cool,
- 3:22:13that would be a cool book. Like that sounds like the
- 3:22:15Terminator but like instead of negative it's split to be
- 3:22:19positive. Well it would make sense coming
- 3:22:22as a human. And I'm not saying that every
- 3:22:24story needs to start with a virgin birth or some unusual
- 3:22:28birth. It could just be a matter of an
- 3:22:30entity coming on the scene as a traveler or someone who they
- 3:22:34have never met before who teaches them and helps them.
- 3:22:37When you look into Buddha, some of the stories are very unusual
- 3:22:41how that came together. Islam, very unusual stories,
- 3:22:44very similar to the Bible in the Old Testament.
- 3:22:47So that's what I keep an open mind on.
- 3:22:50Or I can turn around and just throw it out the window and say
- 3:22:54since the beginning of humanity, we're just all insane, wishing
- 3:22:58upon a star kind of thing. I could do that, but I try to
- 3:23:02give the human race a little bit more credit.
- 3:23:06The human race deserves no credit.
- 3:23:08We're lucky to be alive in my opinion.
- 3:23:10But I, I, I just keep seeing on your screen scrolling like it
- 3:23:14says paperbacks and ebooks available.
- 3:23:17Have you written any books? Yeah, I've actually written over
- 3:23:226 books, not two of them. I ended up unpublishing and the
- 3:23:26reason why I did that and you could look it up if you want to,
- 3:23:29you'll see about it. But originally, whenever I was
- 3:23:32an atheist, in my first couple years of doing it, I wrote a
- 3:23:35book called The Atheist Bible. Since then, a bunch of people
- 3:23:39have created titles like it, like the Skeptics Bible and all
- 3:23:43this kind of stuff. So I had it unpublished and
- 3:23:46other people have taken the name, but most people know that
- 3:23:48I was the original 1. To write that, yeah, that's
- 3:23:53fascinating, dude. Would you, dude, come on, let's
- 3:23:56write a book about how there was a God who, like, sent down
- 3:24:01himself into humanity. He was birthed into humanity and
- 3:24:06that what was Jesus? And then like, God birthed
- 3:24:11himself into, like the fucking Cherokee culture and he was like
- 3:24:17the Cherokee Jesus. And then God like birthed
- 3:24:21himself into ancient Babylon and like, he was the Babylonian
- 3:24:25Jesus. Like, oh dude, that that sounds
- 3:24:28awesome. You know, the Indians, for the
- 3:24:31longest time, they a lot of folks just figured they were
- 3:24:34savages and some of their ideas and myths were crazy.
- 3:24:38One of their views was the Thunderbird, which is named
- 3:24:42after a cool car people tend to drive around in.
- 3:24:45But the Thunderbird, they actually found out that the
- 3:24:47Indians were talking about a real thing.
- 3:24:50It turned out that there was a giant bird, these giant birdlike
- 3:24:54creatures. You can see pictures of it.
- 3:24:57They actually got a dead one and spread out its wings.
- 3:24:59It was huge. It looked like one of those.
- 3:25:01What the hell is that dinosaur called that can fly?
- 3:25:04The Transformers called him Swoop.
- 3:25:07I forget what the Hell's name was the archaeop tricks or I
- 3:25:11don't know. I don't, I don't know, animals.
- 3:25:14That's one of them. Flying dinosaurs.
- 3:25:16Got the real long beak on it. Got some little nubs for teeth.
- 3:25:20Yeah, I know what you're talking about.
- 3:25:23Yeah, So that's that's how I view it.
- 3:25:26It doesn't always have to be it, but I've seen a lot of the,
- 3:25:30especially a lot of religions are dedicated around the concept
- 3:25:34of the sun. If you go into like a Catholic
- 3:25:36Church. I noticed a lot of their
- 3:25:38windows, Jesus, with a bright light behind him that looks like
- 3:25:42the sun. Yeah.
- 3:25:45It's just funny. You're saying you're going
- 3:25:48around to a lot of churches and looking at the same glass
- 3:25:50artwork. It's it's kind of funny because
- 3:25:53I've seen that, like here in Milwaukee, there's like a lot of
- 3:25:56churches downtown. And like, I I've seen this on
- 3:25:59the Internet and I've seen the churches and it's like the way
- 3:26:04that it's drawn, like like Jesus, like has like this
- 3:26:08abdominal muscles and it, it looks like a fucking Dick, dude.
- 3:26:14Like all across time it looks like Jesus has a fucking, like,
- 3:26:20big Dick poking out. Like it's it's so funny.
- 3:26:23I'm sorry, never, never thought of it like that.
- 3:26:26I always just seen the sun thing.
- 3:26:28But they do have a test. They do earn people with ink
- 3:26:31blots and all that. People see what they're going to
- 3:26:33see. Oh, the Rorschach test.
- 3:26:35Yeah. So yeah, I mean, that's that's
- 3:26:41the only way I figure I can look at it.
- 3:26:43Either people had a lot of experiences, same way that you
- 3:26:47describe with Bigfoot or spaceships or anything like that
- 3:26:51around the country and around the world.
- 3:26:53It's just people explain the best they could.
- 3:26:59Yeah, that's that's why I'm not religious.
- 3:27:02That's why I'm not a theist. Because all these different
- 3:27:05people around the world, like, have different explanations.
- 3:27:08They think there's a sun God or they think like, because in the
- 3:27:12end, I think all humans since the beginning of humanity are
- 3:27:17afraid. We are afraid of death.
- 3:27:21We don't know what's going to happen.
- 3:27:22Like, oh, my mom died, my dad died.
- 3:27:25Like, they're just gone. We got to create a story to
- 3:27:29explain like, no, they're not dead.
- 3:27:32They're not dead. And when I die, I'm not going to
- 3:27:36be dead. And like, we're going to all
- 3:27:38meet each other and live a happy life.
- 3:27:40You know what? I I think maybe something like
- 3:27:43that is plausible because like I said, I I'm a I'm a crazy guy.
- 3:27:47I think, like, it's not what I think or believe.
- 3:27:52But I I think maybe there's credit to that that like we're
- 3:27:56all the universe is 1 consciousness and everybody is
- 3:28:01in expression of that consciousness like so maybe we
- 3:28:07can all meet each other when we die.
- 3:28:09But like I'm not going to pretend I know what happens when
- 3:28:13we die. I don't know.
- 3:28:15But I that's that's what I'm saying.
- 3:28:17Like humans are afraid of what happened when we die and we got
- 3:28:22to make up stories to to make ourselves feel better.
- 3:28:26Because it is. It is possible.
- 3:28:29I don't want to believe it. I don't want to believe it.
- 3:28:33It is possible, but I don't want to believe it.
- 3:28:35That like when we die, we're just gone into nothingness.
- 3:28:39I don't want to believe that. But I'm not an.
- 3:28:44I'm not a theist, though. Okay, Fair enough.
- 3:28:48Let me You threw out something earlier.
- 3:28:52I'm just going back and forth on this, but you were talking about
- 3:28:55the mystical mushroom and all that.
- 3:28:57Are you familiar with DMT? There's a reason why I bring
- 3:29:00this up. The spirit molecule?
- 3:29:04Yeah. Now, this is a you've probably
- 3:29:07heard that DMT releases into a human body whenever a person is
- 3:29:13suffering miserably or getting ready to tragically die.
- 3:29:17It's basically the brain producing some kind of chemical
- 3:29:20that numbs your nerves and causes you to go euphoric just
- 3:29:25as you're about to die. Now here's where I'm going to
- 3:29:28get you on a weird kind of crazy question.
- 3:29:32How did evolution or can you explain in a natural way why the
- 3:29:37body would have a chemical that would release upon death?
- 3:29:40And how could it predict this? I would say that a lot of the
- 3:29:47time. Well, not a lot of the time.
- 3:29:50I would say, like when something is close to death, maybe like
- 3:29:56it, it comes into a dangerous encounter.
- 3:29:59It thinks it's gonna die. Maybe like your your your body,
- 3:30:05your heart rate just like exaggerates and like, your heart
- 3:30:09is pumping. Like I'm gonna die, I'm gonna
- 3:30:11die, I'm gonna die. But like, maybe if there's a
- 3:30:14release of DMT, like, it calms you and like, slows your heart
- 3:30:19rate and maybe you could survive.
- 3:30:22That's that's what I think about DMT, right?
- 3:30:25Your body's basically doing a malfunction, period, but it
- 3:30:29knows just the right time to drop the DMT.
- 3:30:32It's your body's basically telling you, look, we're we're
- 3:30:36suffering, we're malfunctioning, we're dying, and this is going
- 3:30:40now, this would make sense to me that we have a chemical like
- 3:30:44that in our head that lets us die blissfully.
- 3:30:47If something actually cared about us and created us to have
- 3:30:50that ability to die nicely or calmly or blissfully, but to
- 3:30:55just say nature somehow designed it without no awareness or
- 3:30:59consciousness, that's hard for me to buy.
- 3:31:02I would. I wouldn't say that.
- 3:31:03Like I said, it's it. It could be an evolutionarily
- 3:31:08advantageous attribute because like I said, like when you're
- 3:31:14like when you get hurt like you get stabbed or you get slashed
- 3:31:19like like Oh my God, Oh my God, I gotta like it's fight or
- 3:31:24flight. So like you know what the fight
- 3:31:28failed and you can't flee and your your your body is just like
- 3:31:33going crazy. Like maybe if your body calmed
- 3:31:37down like the the enemy or predator could recognize that
- 3:31:44hey or like, oh hey, that that guy I just stabbed, he's going
- 3:31:48to die. Fuck him.
- 3:31:49I got to go kill the next person, like in a big war.
- 3:31:53But maybe the wounded person could survive if if if their
- 3:31:57brain thought that they were going to die, it could calm them
- 3:32:01down and maybe they could survive.
- 3:32:04That's what I think DMT is. So there's a chemical that
- 3:32:08releases in your body, Mr. Drewski, where if you were faced
- 3:32:13with having to harm someone and you were trapped in a corner and
- 3:32:17you had no other choice, even though you know you have to do
- 3:32:19whatever it takes to survive, a chemical would release in your
- 3:32:23body telling you, I don't want to do this, you're going to
- 3:32:25sweat. You're going to feel regret
- 3:32:27before you've even done it, just by thinking about it.
- 3:32:30Where does this chemical come from?
- 3:32:32How did nature produce your fear of that?
- 3:32:35And also their ability to go into bliss as you're killing
- 3:32:39them? Explain that if we're not
- 3:32:41programmed, I I wouldn't say that.
- 3:32:43Like I said, I'm not a biologist, but I'm just saying
- 3:32:47like because we have so many chemicals, like we have
- 3:32:50adrenaline, adrenaline is like like I gotta do whatever I can
- 3:32:55to live. But, like, once you're near
- 3:32:59death because like, there's so, like how would you feel?
- 3:33:03Like if if let's say you were on an airplane and the airplane was
- 3:33:10going down and everybody knew you were you, we're all going to
- 3:33:15die like that DMT would like calm you, right?
- 3:33:22But that that's an extreme situation.
- 3:33:26But like what if what if we were in ancient Greece and you got
- 3:33:30stabbed in the chest? You know nothing about anatomy.
- 3:33:34You don't know that. Oh, I was not stabbed in a like
- 3:33:38the heart or lungs or a major organ.
- 3:33:43Like if you didn't know anything about anatomy, like the DMT
- 3:33:47would come calm you down and maybe the next day you would
- 3:33:53survive it. That would be better than like
- 3:33:56being stabbed and being like blah blah blah, adrenaline, blah
- 3:34:00blah, blah, because then you're just going to bleed out.
- 3:34:03Do you know what I'm going to say?
- 3:34:06Right. Just to make sure that John gets
- 3:34:08in on the conversation. I don't want to leave him a good
- 3:34:10friend. Lonely out there, John.
- 3:34:12How you doing there, fella? How you doing, you sexy beast?
- 3:34:15It sounds like you're having a fucking wonderful conversation.
- 3:34:19Oh, goodness gracious. I haven't even put on my makeup
- 3:34:22today and you're telling me I'm sexy.
- 3:34:24Oh, that's nice of you. Let me ask you a question, John,
- 3:34:27to pull you into the conversation.
- 3:34:29And I think you'll enjoy some of these these things I'm putting
- 3:34:32out there. Have you both ever been?
- 3:34:35Have you both ever had scars or been scratched before?
- 3:34:38And you barely even have a mark anymore where that area
- 3:34:42happened? As far as I know, every scar I
- 3:34:47have is still there. Every time I got scratched or
- 3:34:50cut is there's a there's a reminder on my skin, my body.
- 3:34:55But you have actually your body fixed itself to a point where
- 3:35:00you'd still function, right. And and technically it's
- 3:35:04actually stronger. You know, that's I think that's
- 3:35:08like scientifically proven, right?
- 3:35:10Your your, your skin is stronger that it's cut, that it's healed
- 3:35:13together. Like they even say like broken
- 3:35:15bones or ripped muscles, when they heal, they're like 100.
- 3:35:19I don't know exactly the percentage, but they're like 100
- 3:35:21times stronger because now there's like that fusion of of,
- 3:35:26of, of, of new whatever the what, you know, anatomy, your
- 3:35:31tissue, whatever the case may be, that's that's makes it even
- 3:35:34stronger than what it was naturally.
- 3:35:37Well, John, if you don't mind, can you play devil's advocate
- 3:35:40for a little bit? Because I know you're a theist,
- 3:35:43I know you believe in God and you have your own interpretation
- 3:35:47and idea of how to look at it. Let's put God on on like the
- 3:35:51side table, like he's not even in the conversation anymore.
- 3:35:55Why is it that your body attempts to fix itself and heal
- 3:35:59itself? For what in nature has caused
- 3:36:03this to be the construct for you, something that commonly
- 3:36:07happens for almost every human on the planet?
- 3:36:09Why? So you're you're saying what out
- 3:36:15there? Nature.
- 3:36:16Why would they want an Organism to to continue to survive once
- 3:36:20after it's injured. Is that your question?
- 3:36:22Like I'm injured, I'm dying, but somehow my my life is is it
- 3:36:28heals itself so that it can continue on.
- 3:36:31What what mechanism causes that to happen?
- 3:36:33That's a that's a great question.
- 3:36:36I wish I knew the answer to that man.
- 3:36:38I wish John, you John, you know that before I became a theist, a
- 3:36:42believer in a deity, I was a what you refer to as a
- 3:36:46nihilistic atheist. I basically believe that we
- 3:36:50were, as Jeffrey Dahmer said, nothing more than chemical.
- 3:36:53So obviously I couldn't hold on to objective meaning or purpose,
- 3:36:57but I have to ask even the simple things that we take for
- 3:37:00granted, why am I healing in the 1st place?
- 3:37:03Nature is not selfaware conscious, right?
- 3:37:06It doesn't care when my birthday is, when Christmas is.
- 3:37:09It doesn't give a fuck when I'm born or when I die.
- 3:37:13So why do I have these chemicals in me that try to fix me?
- 3:37:17One and #2 will cause me to feel comforted as I'm about to crash
- 3:37:21into a fucking building or a mountain.
- 3:37:24As you pointed out, there's ski in a plane.
- 3:37:26Why I I guess the only answer is self preservation.
- 3:37:32But I I I don't know why that mean.
- 3:37:35That begs the question though, right?
- 3:37:36I mean, why would nature, Why would Existence 1 self preserve?
- 3:37:42You know what I'm saying? What what what?
- 3:37:44What would cause that to to happen?
- 3:37:45You know, I mean if you take the atheist position that like, you
- 3:37:49know, it's just pond scum one day got shot by lightning and
- 3:37:51some rocks cracked, cracked against each other and so then
- 3:37:55you got some fish. I mean, it's just like, you know
- 3:37:59why? Why would it desire?
- 3:38:02Why would ponds come? Desire to have feelings and and
- 3:38:06to exist. I mean technically you would
- 3:38:09think if logic made sense you would think you know not having
- 3:38:14consciousness would be better because you didn't have
- 3:38:16feelings. Right.
- 3:38:17You it isn't it better not knowing your head got chopped
- 3:38:20off and you can keep keep on rocking and rolling.
- 3:38:23You know what I'm saying? You think of it like you're
- 3:38:25amoeba you know and you you got split in half and yet you you're
- 3:38:28still floating in space. You know so why would it evolve
- 3:38:32that that you know where now you have body parts and if you lose
- 3:38:36one of them you're going to drop deader than Jesus.
- 3:38:37No, no offense, Brett. I mean it's just like it doesn't
- 3:38:41it to me it doesn't logically make sense.
- 3:38:43I mean, it's reason why I'm not an atheist, and it has to be
- 3:38:47something better. It has to be something greater.
- 3:38:50But what? What would be yours?
- 3:38:51What would be your point of view, Brad?
- 3:38:53What would, what would you say? It's something I questioned all
- 3:38:55the time whenever I was a a skeptic and what you call a free
- 3:38:59thinker and critical thinker, it's I asked these questions
- 3:39:03myself all the time. I went and researched and
- 3:39:05studied and I kind of found myself in the same position as
- 3:39:09Albert Einstein. It wasn't so much as reading the
- 3:39:12Bible are some books by primitive men.
- 3:39:14It was also reading modern men and modern philosophers and
- 3:39:19modern scientists who are somewhere close on the rank of
- 3:39:23somebody like Albert Einstein that the more you get into it,
- 3:39:26the more shit becomes incoherent and it just seems to act under a
- 3:39:30different kind of law. You get where I'm coming from,
- 3:39:33dusky. This wasn't me.
- 3:39:34Just wake up one day after being hit on a fucking rock on my head
- 3:39:38and having a Damascus moment or something.
- 3:39:41Paul is Mr. Drewski a uh a non believer?
- 3:39:45He is, but he's, uh probably one of the most open minded chaps
- 3:39:49have had in my room. Uh, usually you know John, I get
- 3:39:52yelled at and screamed at. But this guy, yeah, he looks
- 3:39:55like he's fucking loving it in here and having a good time and
- 3:39:58that's what I always want for people.
- 3:40:00Yeah, he looks good. You got the hair slicked back.
- 3:40:02He's you know, he's, you know, he's, I got a ponytail.
- 3:40:06Ponytail. There you go.
- 3:40:08Hey, first of all, I got you missing the Brett team shades.
- 3:40:11That's all you missing. Then.
- 3:40:13Yeah, I gotta say, John, I could say for me and Brett that we are
- 3:40:19jealous of your facial hair because you you probably haven't
- 3:40:23been in this. You probably haven't watched all
- 3:40:27of our conversation before. But I I taught Brett that Native
- 3:40:32Americans did not have the genetics for facial hair.
- 3:40:37And we we we we got the genetics once Europeans came over.
- 3:40:42So, like, we're both jealous of your fabulous beard.
- 3:40:46And look, Johnny, there's a glorious beard.
- 3:40:48When I was younger. When I was a younger boy, I had
- 3:40:51like missing spots and and and the mustache and then connect to
- 3:40:55the beard. But as I got older, it kind of
- 3:40:57filled in. Thank you.
- 3:40:58I appreciate it. It's a yeah.
- 3:41:00But me and Brett are both old and like, our beards are not as
- 3:41:03good as yours. Look at this.
- 3:41:05This is bullshit. You know that John does not
- 3:41:09connect properly, John. Did you know that?
- 3:41:12I mean, I I look at you and your your fucking hair.
- 3:41:15It's like, perfect. It's like God really spent some
- 3:41:17time on you. But me and Grusky over here, we
- 3:41:21can't connect our shit. We have to grow one of these
- 3:41:24fucking walrus mustaches in order to make it look like it's
- 3:41:27all connected. We're like Hulk Hogan and shit.
- 3:41:31Asian people also have a problem with growing facially and a lot
- 3:41:35of people speculate I guess that I guess Native Americans descend
- 3:41:41from Asian people. I guess they cross over the
- 3:41:44barren Strait and that's kind of the why that's they were and
- 3:41:48Native Americans. I think they're genetically,
- 3:41:52what's the word dispositions when it comes to alcohol.
- 3:41:58It's like brutal for Native Americans, like like one shot of
- 3:42:02whiskeys, like an Irishman, you know, two weeks at a pub.
- 3:42:06You know what I mean? It's like, you know, it's it's
- 3:42:08it's it's rough, you know, it's weird.
- 3:42:10Indians can't seem to get that beard and mustache going.
- 3:42:14But I have never seen an Indian with ugly hair.
- 3:42:18They've always had the most beautiful mane, you know what I
- 3:42:21mean? Just the most.
- 3:42:22It just always poke. They do, Yeah.
- 3:42:24I mean that's part it's part of the culture having long here.
- 3:42:27It was like a symbol of manhood. And it meant that you were, you
- 3:42:31know, you you were, you came of age, you know, having long long
- 3:42:35hair as a symbol of pride. As a lot of Christians got me
- 3:42:39married. My wife, John, I I realize that
- 3:42:43your wife's from also a different country.
- 3:42:45My wife, she's very Indian and all that.
- 3:42:47She's got the tan skin and the long black hair.
- 3:42:50I remember when I first met her. I said I'm taking that damn
- 3:42:53Indian with me. Well, you, you got, you got the
- 3:42:58feather. I got the well, I can't say on
- 3:43:01YouTube. I was gonna make a joke, but I
- 3:43:02don't think YouTube would like it anyway.
- 3:43:05But yeah, you what? You got a beautiful wife, Brett.
- 3:43:07You're a lucky man. And she's Native American.
- 3:43:11I did not know that. I know.
- 3:43:12You have never. You have Cherokee in you, right,
- 3:43:14Brett? See, this is one of the reasons
- 3:43:16why guys like me. Praise God for making some women
- 3:43:19out there beautiful but not have good eyesight.
- 3:43:23The only thing where I look like she'd have ran for the hill,
- 3:43:26she'd been like, that's a fucking Sasquatch fuck out of
- 3:43:29here. Shit, dude.
- 3:43:32Yeah, it's funny because my wife, I tricked her dude,
- 3:43:35because she's she's from the Middle East.
- 3:43:39And I, I, I we met online. I told her I was Native
- 3:43:42American. I guess technically I am, but I
- 3:43:45made-up a bunch of shit. And because, you know, I have
- 3:43:50long hair, actually, you know, really, genetically, people in
- 3:43:57my family were technically from the PD tribe of It's like North
- 3:44:03Carolina, the PD tribe, but still like I'm a mutt mixed with
- 3:44:09a bunch of shit. But I still lied to my wife.
- 3:44:11I told her like I'm from this tribe and my my Native American
- 3:44:17name is Rayton Hagetton, but that's that's just the character
- 3:44:21from Assassin's Creed 3. Sounds romantic though I
- 3:44:26actually, I hate to say this and this will definitely be made
- 3:44:29into a short, but I did fed to my future wife whenever I first
- 3:44:34met her. When she told me how old she
- 3:44:37was. I ended up telling her that I
- 3:44:38was a couple years older than what I actually was and I was
- 3:44:41able to get away with that for a while because I had premature
- 3:44:44Gray hair since I was 13. So I always had that Kenny
- 3:44:48Rogers fucking Tom Selleck thing going on.
- 3:44:50So I was able to get. I was able to get a lot closer
- 3:44:54and a lot quicker because of that.
- 3:44:55Had to fib. So yeah, blame it on my atheism
- 3:44:59though back then. Dude, Tom Selleck is sexy as
- 3:45:03fuck, dude. Oh good.
- 3:45:07Your wife has always been a a, a theist, right, Brett?
- 3:45:12She's believed that there. She kind of threw out the idea.
- 3:45:16Like Drewski's talking about where it's possible there might
- 3:45:19be something out there. It's possible She thinks that
- 3:45:23there's been too many coincidences and too many things
- 3:45:26that have happened in life. She really, really overthinks it
- 3:45:29about if I would have went left instead of right, what would
- 3:45:32have my life been like? She thinks like that.
- 3:45:35And I mean, there's so many fucking variables in our lives,
- 3:45:39ladies and gentlemen, that if you just went, you were like 5
- 3:45:43minutes late to something, Your whole life wouldn't have been
- 3:45:46changed. Or maybe for the worst, you know
- 3:45:51what I mean? I'm just babbling incoherently,
- 3:45:54as usual. John's used to it, dude.
- 3:45:56We're just guys talking about life and shit.
- 3:45:58We're talking about being human. Like we all have experiences, We
- 3:46:02all have relationships. Like we all have heartbreak.
- 3:46:05We all have pain. That's that's what life's about.
- 3:46:10And that's why that's why these podcasts exist, I guess, so
- 3:46:17people can vicariously feel that themselves as well.
- 3:46:24I can appreciate that. Let me throw out a couple
- 3:46:28hypotheticals at you guys. I think John might have heard
- 3:46:31some of them, but I think you'll like this and it'll keep it
- 3:46:33interesting for you. Let's say that you're driving
- 3:46:36down the road with your wife or girlfriend, Drewski, and you see
- 3:46:40it. All of a sudden a huge pileup
- 3:46:42happens in front of you. OK, well, you get out of your
- 3:46:46vehicle to see if anybody's OK, and you notice that at the same
- 3:46:51distance, to your left and to your right, there are two women
- 3:46:54and they're trying to fight your way out of a vehicle.
- 3:46:57You then notice some gasoline that is coming down and you only
- 3:47:02have time to save save one. One of them is pregnant and the
- 3:47:06other one is not pregnant. Which one would you try to save
- 3:47:10if you could save one without consequence?
- 3:47:13That's a very specific hypothetical, but I would try to
- 3:47:17save the pregnant woman. Why?
- 3:47:22Because there are two lives there.
- 3:47:26Ah, that's interesting. If there were other atheists in
- 3:47:31here right now, they'd be all over you, brother.
- 3:47:33I'm just saying, yeah, that's like red meat for them.
- 3:47:38Yeah. You're basically saying that
- 3:47:40that fetus is a life form and it's worth saving by this
- 3:47:44hypothetical, of course. But if we get into specifics of,
- 3:47:50like, how pregnant the woman is and should we, you know, in a
- 3:47:55different situation, like if the woman's life was in danger of
- 3:48:00this pregnancy, like, should she abort the baby?
- 3:48:03Of course the the woman should be favored.
- 3:48:08Do you feel that we should go along with the motto that we've
- 3:48:12heard for years, that we should value the choice of a woman,
- 3:48:16that she should be able to technically do whatever she
- 3:48:18wants with her body? You know what?
- 3:48:23I hate that phrase because I I'm not pro-choice.
- 3:48:28I'm not pro-life, but I think that abortion is immoral but and
- 3:48:34I am an atheist, but I I fucking hate the the saying that like oh
- 3:48:41a woman can't choose what happens with her own body.
- 3:48:46But like, you know what? Here in America nobody can
- 3:48:50choose what happens with their own body.
- 3:48:52Like if you're a if you're a 60 year old man and if you have a
- 3:48:56if if you need a heart transplant, you you can't choose
- 3:49:01to have a heart transplant if you don't have the money.
- 3:49:06I agree with you on that. Let me try one more thing on
- 3:49:10you. It seems like you're probably
- 3:49:11going to answer in the same way to this hypothetical.
- 3:49:14This question about to ask usually causes a lot of
- 3:49:18frustration and excitement from some of the non believers I've
- 3:49:21had in here. So you're sitting on a Cliff.
- 3:49:24You're enjoying a valley before you.
- 3:49:28You're loving seeing the horizon and all this.
- 3:49:31Well, suddenly in the weeds you start hearing some scampering
- 3:49:33around. You look and about 20 feet away
- 3:49:37from you, some strange woman who appears to be pregnant has come
- 3:49:41out of the Bush and she says don't try to stop me, it's my
- 3:49:46body. I'm going to jump off this
- 3:49:48Cliff. She's pregnant.
- 3:49:50Would you allow her? Would you respect her wishes?
- 3:49:53Let her do what she wants to with their body?
- 3:49:54Kill herself in the fetus? Or would you attempt to stop her
- 3:49:58or talk her down? Are you asking me or John or
- 3:50:03both of us? Well, both of you, what would
- 3:50:05you do? Would you let her take a swan
- 3:50:07dive and become panic cake on the rocks?
- 3:50:10Or would you try to do something?
- 3:50:13I would try to stop her and talk to her, even if she wasn't
- 3:50:18pregnant. Why would you do that?
- 3:50:24This is obviously what they would call her choice.
- 3:50:27Her body. Can't she do what that is she
- 3:50:29wants? Yeah.
- 3:50:30But I know that there are like psychological deficiencies like
- 3:50:36that could develop in people. And it's like, you know, there's
- 3:50:40so many different psychological ailments people can have and
- 3:50:46they have been helped and they have been saved and they have
- 3:50:50lived full lives. It doesn't matter if she's
- 3:50:52pregnant or not. Carrying a fetus, carrying a
- 3:50:56baby inside you, John, you'd say it's pretty stressful in the
- 3:50:59body. It can cause mental, emotional,
- 3:51:02all kinds of different pain and suffering.
- 3:51:05But still, if it's the woman's choice, I mean, that's what I
- 3:51:09always get argued with. If it's the woman's choice, if
- 3:51:13it's her body, she should be able to do it.
- 3:51:15But why is it that 98% of people, when asked this
- 3:51:18question, they're like, fuck that.
- 3:51:20Whether she's pregnant or not, I'm going to try to help her.
- 3:51:23Then that brings me to wonder, why do you even care?
- 3:51:27If you don't know the person, then why do you feel the
- 3:51:30connection? And somebody might argue,
- 3:51:32because I know what pain feels like, yeah, but you don't know
- 3:51:34what ending the pain completely feels like.
- 3:51:37Not just yet. Why would anybody care if
- 3:51:40there's nothing if we're just organic meat is the thing that I
- 3:51:44question. I think sometimes these
- 3:51:48questions can be a little bit difficult to answer because
- 3:51:51you're trying to, like, use sometimes reason, logic and
- 3:51:56rationale to answer the question.
- 3:52:00But you know, to be honest with you, you know half of the time
- 3:52:05you know humans aren't reasonable, rational, logical.
- 3:52:08You know people you know or organisms or whatever you want
- 3:52:13to, you know, whatever you want to refer to us as, you know, you
- 3:52:16know, we make decisions based off of emotions and all all
- 3:52:20sorts of different factors, right.
- 3:52:22So you know, when that sort of situation, you know what what a
- 3:52:25person's thinking and and feeling and how you react, it's
- 3:52:29it's it's you know you don't you you can't tell.
- 3:52:33You know you can never be too sure.
- 3:52:35I mean, for me, I guess I would talk the person out of it, but
- 3:52:40at the end of the day, I'm, you know, I'm not going to, you
- 3:52:42know, grab handcuffs and handcuff her to the, you know,
- 3:52:49the rack, you know, the the, the chain fence, let's say it's a
- 3:52:53bridge, right. I'm not going to handcuff her to
- 3:52:55the bridge so that she can't jump.
- 3:52:57You know, if she's going to do it, she's going to do it.
- 3:52:59You know, that's as sad as it is, you know, But maybe I would
- 3:53:03tackle her. I don't know, you know, I just,
- 3:53:05you don't know what would happen at that moment.
- 3:53:07You know, I'm going to tell you both a true story real quick,
- 3:53:11and I'd like to hear your opinion on it, your view.
- 3:53:14Anybody out there that wants to try to answer this?
- 3:53:17This would be great. This happened about two years
- 3:53:20ago in my town. Apparently there was a young
- 3:53:23woman who she was between 20 and 25 years old.
- 3:53:27She got into a car accident and she was considered brain dead,
- 3:53:31but her parents refused to pull the plug on her.
- 3:53:34They let her live on the machines.
- 3:53:36Well, what happens is a couple years go by, they come in and
- 3:53:41they noticed that their daughter's body's going through
- 3:53:44some weird transformation. It's seems to be getting bigger
- 3:53:48and expanding. Well, about nine months later,
- 3:53:51she ends up having a baby. They cut her open and take a
- 3:53:54baby out of her. She got pregnant somehow.
- 3:53:58They ended up finding out that a a doctor that was working on her
- 3:54:03was actually abusing her while she was in this brain dead
- 3:54:06state. Now the question I have for you,
- 3:54:08and this is going to be very dark.
- 3:54:10If she's not conscious and she's never going to come back to
- 3:54:13life, why does it matter? Why does it matter what this
- 3:54:16doctor did to her if she can't scream out or feel pain from it?
- 3:54:22I think this falls down to if I if I don't mean to interact it I
- 3:54:26look like Drew is going to say something.
- 3:54:28I apologize. But if if I take this, I think
- 3:54:30This is why we need a a really good understanding about
- 3:54:33property rights. And I don't this, this is going
- 3:54:36to say sound harsh for a lot of people, but your your body is
- 3:54:40property you know? How can I put this elegantly in
- 3:54:45a nice way? You own your body.
- 3:54:47It's, it's, it's, it's it's your property.
- 3:54:50It belongs to you. And I say you, it's because
- 3:54:52you're not your body, right. When when someone says the
- 3:54:55statement, you know, oh, you know, Bob asks Joey, you know,
- 3:54:58do you have the keys? And it's like, oh, it's on me,
- 3:55:00it's on my person. But what does that statement
- 3:55:02mean? It's on your person.
- 3:55:03It means that you're separate from from your body.
- 3:55:06Right. So we haven't understand as
- 3:55:08human beings that we're spiritual and we're physical.
- 3:55:12We're half and half now that you know even though she's in a in a
- 3:55:18in a comatose state we we don't have any sort of understanding
- 3:55:22or clue what's actually going on and but but her her body is
- 3:55:26still belongs to her. So the fact that this doctor
- 3:55:29violated her her personal space is is still a violation of her
- 3:55:33rights. She's a human being even though
- 3:55:35she's comatose. So it's just the fact that you
- 3:55:38know I'm guessing this is in the United States.
- 3:55:40United States. You said St.
- 3:55:41Louis Brett you said this in your town so I mean the fact
- 3:55:45that you know I would say argue from a constitutional point of
- 3:55:48view that she she this doctor violated her civil rights and
- 3:55:52and that's just that's that's the end end of it all and you
- 3:55:56should and you should pay dearly even though she.
- 3:55:59And and that it goes to anyone who's not capable of defending
- 3:56:02themselves. A child someone who's
- 3:56:05handicapped it's anyone it's someone who violates another
- 3:56:08person is violating their personal rights.
- 3:56:10Civil rights. Yeah.
- 3:56:12But politicians as well as people in the medical
- 3:56:16profession, they've argued for years that although, John, you
- 3:56:20make a good argument about it being our own property and our
- 3:56:23own being, whether we're conscious or aware of it or not,
- 3:56:27people can make the decision to kill you.
- 3:56:29They can make the decision to turn the fucking machine off.
- 3:56:32So if it's OK to kill you, why isn't it OK to also rape a
- 3:56:36person who is unconscious and cannot feel any pain?
- 3:56:39Well, that's what I'm saying. I mean, it is a violation of
- 3:56:41property, right? I mean, that's what I'm saying.
- 3:56:43It's a violation your rights. So.
- 3:56:44So if you're comment toast and you're in the hospital bed and
- 3:56:47they shut your machine off and kill you, this they're violating
- 3:56:49your civil rights. You have a right to life,
- 3:56:51liberty in the prison of happiness.
- 3:56:53That's that's guaranteed to all humans.
- 3:56:55As Americans, at least. I mean I don't know about all
- 3:56:57humans around the world. But as Lee that as you know as
- 3:57:00an American you have civil rights, you have a right to
- 3:57:03life. So the fact that they violated
- 3:57:05is is a violation your rights that's that's that's the end of
- 3:57:09it all. I mean I don't know the the
- 3:57:11particular details of it all and maybe there's instances of the
- 3:57:15support the Supreme Court may be ruled maybe there are issues
- 3:57:19with it when it comes to hospitals and and patients and
- 3:57:22and what happens and maybe there's a lot of nuance in this.
- 3:57:27But as far as I know that This is why we we got to go back to
- 3:57:30understanding property rights and that that's the problem with
- 3:57:32with the United States in general is that we we take I
- 3:57:36don't know if we're allowed to talk about this on YouTube but
- 3:57:38we went through this a couple of years ago and and people were I
- 3:57:43can't say but they were forced to do a certain thing and and
- 3:57:47they they they if they didn't do this certain thing they they
- 3:57:50lost their job they were ostracized they were politically
- 3:57:55smeared they were called all such names and and you know but
- 3:58:00these same people did not only 20 years ago was you know going
- 3:58:04against the you know corporate media and big farmer and now now
- 3:58:07all of a sudden they're their biggest champions it.
- 3:58:10So it doesn't make any sense from a liberal point of view,
- 3:58:13but I would, I would argue just just on that is from a liberal
- 3:58:16point of view people have rights and and liberty and and that's
- 3:58:21and and we have to go back to that and and and that's it.
- 3:58:24That's what it comes down to. People are too quick to violate
- 3:58:27someone else's rights and and it's it's a sad fact of reality.
- 3:58:33It's kind of weird though, isn't it Drisky and John, that these
- 3:58:37liberals, they go on talking about how much they care about
- 3:58:40races and diversity and all this stuff that's going on out there.
- 3:58:44But the moment you disagree with them on any fucking given topic,
- 3:58:48suddenly you become a bowl of Jelly that has no fucking worth,
- 3:58:52that they can do whatever the hell they want to with.
- 3:58:54But until can I say something? Sure you can.
- 3:58:59I I just want to say that that is a very specific and extreme
- 3:59:04hypothetical because it reminded me of Kill Bill volume one.
- 3:59:09Where Remember, the bride was shot and she was technically
- 3:59:14brain dead, but she was pregnant before she was brain dead.
- 3:59:21So they kept her alive just because she had a human
- 3:59:27gestating inside of her and her child.
- 3:59:31Spoilers. I I don't want to spoil it, but
- 3:59:36well, your computer just did a poop.
- 3:59:39Who, me? Hello.
- 3:59:44You're lagging up. You got to reload, man.
- 3:59:47Who? Me?
- 3:59:47Drew. I got to reload.
- 3:59:52Oh, no. It looks like my internet's
- 3:59:54having some trouble too. Yeah, I hear Drew.
- 3:59:57I hear Drew just fine. I hear Drew just fine.
- 4:00:00But I just want to interject here real quick.
- 4:00:02I mean, that's isn't it fascinating that a person can be
- 4:00:05brain dead and comatose, but yet a doctor can rape that person
- 4:00:09and then they can conceive a baby and the baby grows.
- 4:00:13As far as I know, bred as it was a healthy and functional that
- 4:00:16they did. She produce a baby that was.
- 4:00:18Liable. I mean that's to me that's
- 4:00:20remarkable that a a person can can do that and and it shows me
- 4:00:24that there's more to to you than just your consciousness.
- 4:00:27So I I mean, there's something more there, right?
- 4:00:29You can be unconscious and.
