- 0:04Speaker 1: am six forty.
- 0:12Speaker 2: And he was a good body. She's just not slender.
- 0:16Speaker 3: Stop.
- 0:16Speaker 2: Wouldn't know you would have slender to bitch you in
- 0:19Speaker 2: the ass. You know that? Are you saying slenders?
- 0:23Speaker 3: Long?
- 0:24Speaker 2: Yes?
- 0:24Speaker 4: So like Amy is a tall drink of water and
- 0:27Speaker 4: Anne is a short shot of liquor.
- 0:29Speaker 2: Well said, I'm a buzzball.
- 0:32Speaker 1: And now Handle on the news, ladies and gentlemen, here's
- 0:37Speaker 1: Bill Handle.
- 0:40Speaker 2: Good morning everybody.
- 0:41Speaker 5: It was a Tuesday Taco Tuesday, January twentieth, and we
- 0:47Speaker 5: start the show. We're all back, the eighteen is back.
- 0:52Speaker 5: Amy was gone yesterday? Was it a Disneyland day?
- 0:56Speaker 2: Yesterday?
- 0:56Speaker 4: Ammy?
- 0:57Speaker 3: Actually yesterday was recovery from Disneyland. And also I accomplished
- 1:03Speaker 3: my New Year's resolution from last year.
- 1:06Speaker 2: She came out of her closet.
- 1:08Speaker 3: Yeah, well, I would not come out of the closet.
- 1:10Speaker 3: I cleaned out my cluster.
- 1:11Speaker 2: Oh I misheard that's on me.
- 1:15Speaker 5: Huh, all right, I have to mute here. I'll get
- 1:18Speaker 5: there sometimes I'll do this right. At some point in
- 1:21Speaker 5: my life, and you were the topic or Amy, you
- 1:24Speaker 5: were the topic of conversation big time yesterday sorry as
- 1:29Speaker 5: uh and uh Cono was, but also Amy, we were
- 1:33Speaker 5: talking about you and the word slender was being used
- 1:37Speaker 5: to describe you, and for some reason, Neil got all
- 1:40Speaker 5: upset and uh and we started talking about Anne and
- 1:46Speaker 5: I was somehow an I know, but somehow you figured
- 1:49Speaker 5: out I was body shaming and because I was simply describing.
- 1:54Speaker 2: Amy as slender, she is slender. She has So your
- 1:58Speaker 2: wife is not slender, she's not slender. My wife, my
- 2:03Speaker 2: wife is.
- 2:03Speaker 5: She's tiny, but my wife, my wife does not have long,
- 2:06Speaker 5: long legs.
- 2:08Speaker 2: When we go let me tell you, let me put
- 2:10Speaker 2: it this way.
- 2:11Speaker 5: When we go to a Halloween costume party, she goes
- 2:14Speaker 5: as to loosely trek. Okay, she does not have long,
- 2:18Speaker 5: long legs. Okay, fair enough. Anyway, it was good things
- 2:24Speaker 5: said to you.
- 2:24Speaker 2: Amy. What was your New Year's resolution, by the way.
- 2:27Speaker 3: To clean out my closet?
- 2:29Speaker 2: Like you took a day off to clean out your closet.
- 2:31Speaker 3: No, we just I had a friend in town and
- 2:33Speaker 3: we were trying to figure out what we were going
- 2:34Speaker 3: to do.
- 2:34Speaker 2: And she well, that sounds like fine.
- 2:36Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 2:37Speaker 3: It was after two days of running around Disneyland. So
- 2:41Speaker 3: we had a fabulous weekend and we just ended it
- 2:43Speaker 3: by accomplishing something.
- 2:45Speaker 2: And you know, I'm off on Thursday. Everybody. I'm going
- 2:48Speaker 2: in for a fun, fun colonoscopy. You're cleaning something out too. Yeah,
- 2:53Speaker 2: it's true. Better than a closet.
- 2:55Speaker 5: It is the last of my coupon books that I
- 2:56Speaker 5: bought a couple of years ago, where you if you
- 3:00Speaker 5: I a booklet of ten Colonosky's, you get one for free.
- 3:03Speaker 5: This one is like a car wash, this one or
- 3:06Speaker 5: next one, or a dozen bagels. You know, you get
- 3:09Speaker 5: a thirteenth for free. So anyway, okay, so much for
- 3:14Speaker 5: Amy and Will Good morning, Will.
- 3:16Speaker 2: Good morning. You know Thursday's my birthday. You're having a
- 3:18Speaker 2: colonoscary on my birthday. That is in honor of your birthday.
- 3:23Speaker 5: And by the way, in terms of okay and Will,
- 3:25Speaker 5: I have to since this is radio, have to describe Will.
- 3:28Speaker 5: Will does not have long, long legs, which is why
- 3:32Speaker 5: his nickname was Stumpy.
- 3:33Speaker 2: I do have legs. I have a stumpy trunk. Sound right,
- 3:39Speaker 2: I have a stumpy trunk. Okay, I'm getting that on
- 3:42Speaker 2: a T shirt. Yes.
- 3:44Speaker 5: And then and then there's Neil good morning, Neil, good morning,
- 3:47Speaker 5: Willie Wolf Okay, and Cono, Good morning, Cono, good morning, Happy.
- 3:52Speaker 5: Today's the last Today's a last day to raise money.
- 3:56Speaker 5: We're closing down to go fund.
- 3:57Speaker 2: Me page to help buy a car.
- 4:01Speaker 5: His car blew up driving back and forth seventy to
- 4:05Speaker 5: seventy two miles each way from his meth lab home
- 4:07Speaker 5: in the Inland Empire.
- 4:08Speaker 2: I know, we joke, but it's not a joke in
- 4:11Speaker 2: any case.
- 4:12Speaker 5: We're we are helping him and today is it and
- 4:15Speaker 5: we're about to hit our goal, hopefully twenty thousand dollars. Yeah,
- 4:19Speaker 5: twenty thousand dollars.
- 4:20Speaker 2: Yeah. People have been really gracious and kind. So if
- 4:23Speaker 2: you want to help.
- 4:24Speaker 5: Us go over the finish line, please go to KFI
- 4:28Speaker 5: am six forty dot com slash kono because well, there's
- 4:34Speaker 5: a lot of fraud that goes on in the world
- 4:35Speaker 5: of GoFundMe. I mean, today we're going to do a
- 4:37Speaker 5: story about Mickey Rourke who also had a problem with
- 4:41Speaker 5: a go Fundme page and someone just set it up
- 4:43Speaker 5: and is taking the money.
- 4:45Speaker 4: He said that he'd rather put a gun up is
- 4:49Speaker 4: ours and fire it to take charity, which is so
- 4:53Speaker 4: exact opposite of what Cono said.
- 4:55Speaker 2: That is correct, That is correct.
- 4:58Speaker 5: Problem Anyway, it's yeah, it's important that we do this,
- 5:01Speaker 5: so CONO actually gets the money and you go to
- 5:04Speaker 5: KF I A M six forty dot com slash KNO
- 5:08Speaker 5: k O n O and today's last day and thank
- 5:12Speaker 5: you for helping everybody. All all kidding aside, it's it's
- 5:18Speaker 5: a good thing. And what Cono will be able to
- 5:20Speaker 5: do today is eat, which is somewhat exciting. Meanwhile, and Neil,
- 5:28Speaker 5: we don't have to worry about you eating dewe eat
- 5:30Speaker 5: or will because we know.
- 5:33Speaker 4: Well, I know that there's kids starving, so I eat
- 5:36Speaker 4: for them.
- 5:37Speaker 2: Yeah, I know.
- 5:37Speaker 5: Did you notice that When I was a kid, my
- 5:40Speaker 5: parents used to say this for some reason of Europe
- 5:42Speaker 5: and then it became Asia. You know, I wouldn't. I
- 5:44Speaker 5: would not finish the food on my plate, but finish
- 5:46Speaker 5: your food. Kids are starving in Europe. Okay, so I
- 5:51Speaker 5: would finish my food. I got fat, kids still starved
- 5:56Speaker 5: at you know now what you know, I have a
- 6:00Speaker 5: real problem with my parents and they're both dead and
- 6:02Speaker 5: I still have a real problem with my parents.
- 6:04Speaker 2: Okay, guys, let's do it.
- 6:05Speaker 5: Time for handle on the news, Amy, Neil and me
- 6:09Speaker 5: lead story. Davos is going on right now. Davos, Switzerland
- 6:16Speaker 5: every year is the World Economic Forum where hanchos, some
- 6:21Speaker 5: of the biggest zillionaires in the world get together as
- 6:26Speaker 5: well as leaders from all over the world and they
- 6:31Speaker 5: actually talk to each other. A lot of deals are struck,
- 6:35Speaker 5: a lot of treaties actually are started there. Donald Trump
- 6:40Speaker 5: is showing up, the first president since Bill Clinton, and
- 6:45Speaker 5: Davos has been completely turned on its head because of
- 6:48Speaker 5: President Trump. All anybody is talking about is Greenland and
- 6:53Speaker 5: succumbing to the President's demands and the tariffs that are
- 6:58Speaker 5: going on, just.
- 7:00Speaker 2: Going what are we doing?
- 7:01Speaker 5: Were allies and you're turning around and you're killing our relationship. Anyway,
- 7:07Speaker 5: we'll be talking a lot more than that at seven o'clock.
- 7:13Speaker 3: A whole new meaning to Maga's supposed to be make
- 7:17Speaker 3: America great again, but with everything going on with Greenland,
- 7:20Speaker 3: there are red baseball caps crop it up all over,
- 7:24Speaker 3: especially in Greenland, that MAGA stands for make America go away,
- 7:31Speaker 3: not make America great again. The hats were first created
- 7:35Speaker 3: by a clothing store owner in Copenhag He's a vintage
- 7:39Speaker 3: clothing store owner in twenty twenty four, but they didn't
- 7:42Speaker 3: really catch on but now with everything going on with Greenland,
- 7:46Speaker 3: they're popping up everywhere.
- 7:49Speaker 5: Yep, and so you're going to see a lot of those.
- 7:53Speaker 5: I mean, this thing has gotten completely crazy at first.
- 7:56Speaker 5: You know, when President Trump first talked about acquiring Queenland,
- 8:00Speaker 5: I mean you sort of go, come on, how insane
- 8:05Speaker 5: is that? I mean, I know I didn't take it
- 8:08Speaker 5: seriously at all. Well, let's tell you it's become as
- 8:11Speaker 5: serious as a heart attack. And we're going to talk
- 8:14Speaker 5: a lot about that over certainly over the week with Davos,
- 8:17Speaker 5: which is well under ways.
- 8:19Speaker 4: You know, the one thing, the one group you don't
- 8:21Speaker 4: want criticizing the American.
- 8:24Speaker 2: Or the uh what you might call it, the CD
- 8:29Speaker 2: or to go easy for you to say, you're starting
- 8:32Speaker 2: to Department of Health and Human Services.
- 8:36Speaker 4: The one group you don't want criticizing them is actual doctors.
- 8:41Speaker 4: And that's where we find ourselves. So you got seven
- 8:44Speaker 4: prominent medical associations coming out yesterday and suing to reverse
- 8:50Speaker 4: changes to the US Centers for Disease Control and Preventions
- 8:53Speaker 4: childhood vaccine recommendations.
- 8:55Speaker 2: So these are.
- 8:56Speaker 4: Things, uh, you know, dealing with a simple thing like
- 9:00Speaker 4: even the flu or these childhood illnesses that we deal
- 9:05Speaker 4: with every single day, and they're going listen, man, you
- 9:08Speaker 4: gotta you got to reverse this stuff.
- 9:11Speaker 5: No, he's never going to reverse never, it's never going
- 9:13Speaker 5: to be reversed. It's Robert Kennedy moving inexorably towards Vaccines
- 9:19Speaker 5: are going to kill you and they cause autism. That's
- 9:24Speaker 5: that simple, you know, don't vaccinate. And I tell you
- 9:27Speaker 5: who who must be spinning is Bill Cassidy, the Senator
- 9:31Speaker 5: from Louisiana, Who's who was the vote that put him,
- 9:35Speaker 5: that put Robert Kennedy on. And Kennedy lied to him
- 9:38Speaker 5: and said, of course I'm going to back up vaccines.
- 9:41Speaker 5: And he's a doctor, right, he's a doctor who headed
- 9:45Speaker 5: the vaccine program in Louisiana.
- 9:52Speaker 3: One hundred car crash.
- 9:54Speaker 2: Wow, talk about a pile up.
- 9:56Speaker 3: More than one hundred vehicles crashed into each other in cold,
- 10:01Speaker 3: snowy winterry weather in Michigan, shutting down an interstate. The
- 10:08Speaker 3: pile up started before ten to twenty yesterday morning on
- 10:12Speaker 3: Interstate one ninety six, and the nearly ten mile stretch
- 10:16Speaker 3: of the freeway was closed for several hours. Nobody died,
- 10:19Speaker 3: that's great news. Ten people did have injuries. The pile
- 10:23Speaker 3: up included two dozen semis.
- 10:27Speaker 5: All Right, I'm gonna say about that other than it's
- 10:30Speaker 5: the good news no one died.
- 10:31Speaker 4: Yeah, all right, the sun releasing all kinds of radiation.
- 10:35Speaker 4: It has this massive solar radiation storm, the biggest one
- 10:40Speaker 4: in over twenty years. And what does that mean. That
- 10:43Speaker 4: means that yesterday night and this morning there is a
- 10:47Speaker 4: possibility of seeing the Northern Lights. And I know we've
- 10:51Speaker 4: been they've been getting in areas that normally they're not seen.
- 10:56Speaker 4: And this one is even bigger. This is AB four
- 10:59Speaker 4: and four and it only goes up to five.
- 11:02Speaker 5: And we're not seeing it though, Northern California seeing it,
- 11:07Speaker 5: which is kind of a shame because I've always wanted
- 11:10Speaker 5: to see the Northern Lights.
- 11:11Speaker 2: And there are trips that take you to the Northern Lights. Yeah,
- 11:14Speaker 2: I've been on one. Yeah. Did you ever see the
- 11:17Speaker 2: Northern Lights? I never have. You know, what you do?
- 11:19Speaker 4: You close your eyes and you press your thumb against
- 11:22Speaker 4: your eyelid.
- 11:23Speaker 5: Yeah, that'll do it kind of similar anyway. So the
- 11:28Speaker 5: big news is there may be a lot of disruptions
- 11:31Speaker 5: GPS systems, that sort of thing, cell phones, that sort
- 11:34Speaker 5: of thing.
- 11:35Speaker 2: Yeah, that's the bad stuff.
- 11:36Speaker 3: Yeah, Well, the deal was done. Now it's being redone.
- 11:40Speaker 3: Netflix says it is now prepared to pay all cash
- 11:44Speaker 3: for Warner Brothers and HBO rather than a mix of
- 11:48Speaker 3: cash and stock as their first deal had. Netflix and
- 11:52Speaker 3: Warner Brothers Discovery announced an amended plan this morning, about
- 11:55Speaker 3: six weeks after they originally agreed on a deal. But
- 11:59Speaker 3: then remember Paramount Skuidance came swooping in and offered all
- 12:03Speaker 3: cash and more. So now Netflix is offering twenty seven
- 12:06Speaker 3: to seventy five per share for the company's movie studio
- 12:10Speaker 3: and streaming assets, and then CNN and other channels owned
- 12:14Speaker 3: by Warner Brothers will become part of a separate company.
- 12:16Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 12:17Speaker 5: Now, keep in mind, whenever a company sells itself, these
- 12:20Speaker 5: massive companies, it's based on the value of the company
- 12:23Speaker 5: at any given time. And when a major player comes
- 12:28Speaker 5: in to buy it and light Netflix or Paramount Skydiance,
- 12:33Speaker 5: they pay a premium for the stocks and in this case,
- 12:37Speaker 5: yep four dollars and fifty cents a share premium over
- 12:41Speaker 5: what it's selling for. And it well, Warner Brothers wants
- 12:46Speaker 5: to connect with Netflix, hates Paramount, and so it looks
- 12:50Speaker 5: like that's going to end up happening. Also it brings
- 12:54Speaker 5: a share value up, is that it was the middle
- 12:56Speaker 5: of a hostile takeover. Paramount came in and it was
- 13:00Speaker 5: not fund negotiation. It was just a straight offer, We're
- 13:02Speaker 5: to take you over, all right. Hackers to the rescue.
- 13:08Speaker 4: Hackers are disrupting or disrupting Iranian state television. So they
- 13:13Speaker 4: got on this satellite and got the transmission to air
- 13:17Speaker 4: footage of supporting the country's exiled crown prints. And the
- 13:23Speaker 4: interesting thing is they were calling on the security forces
- 13:26Speaker 4: to not point your weapons at the people. And so
- 13:31Speaker 4: this this hacking comes as the death toll continues to rise.
- 13:35Speaker 4: It reached at least over four thousand.
- 13:38Speaker 2: It's going to be a lot higher than that. It's
- 13:40Speaker 2: going to be more than that. That's just what even to.
- 13:42Speaker 5: The point where the regime has admitted that's in the thousands.
- 13:47Speaker 5: But it's all the fault of Israeli noted states of course,
- 13:51Speaker 5: we're the ones that are doing the actual killing by
- 13:53Speaker 5: fomenting these not even protesters, these traders on the street.
- 14:00Speaker 2: Hopefully, I mean, the regime may fall.
- 14:03Speaker 5: It's just a question of well, it depends if the revolutionary.
- 14:06Speaker 2: Guard changes over. It's over.
- 14:08Speaker 5: If the revolutionary guard stays and it will literally terrorize,
- 14:14Speaker 5: even more so, truly terrorize its citizens.
- 14:20Speaker 3: Lawsuit, it's no ice bucket challenge, that's for sure. Six
- 14:25Speaker 3: families are suing TikTok. They're claiming the company's algorithm has
- 14:29Speaker 3: a defect, is addictive, and targets miners without disturbing or
- 14:33Speaker 3: with disturbing and troubling content. So the lawsuit centers on
- 14:38Speaker 3: six families whose children between the ages of eleven and
- 14:41Speaker 3: seventeen allegedly took part in a choking challenge after seeing
- 14:46Speaker 3: videos on TikTok. All died in recent years. Lawyers say
- 14:51Speaker 3: that the case should be dismissed under the First Amendment
- 14:54Speaker 3: and the current law called the Communications Decency Act.
- 14:57Speaker 5: Yeah, they got that through that the platforms are not
- 15:02Speaker 5: responsible for third party content. That and of course that's
- 15:07Speaker 5: what they're all about, is third party content. So there's
- 15:10Speaker 5: the federal law that's in place, the argument that it's
- 15:13Speaker 5: First Amendment and we'll see what happens with with which
- 15:18Speaker 5: way the courts are going to go on this and
- 15:21Speaker 5: they get his sub stuff down right, Oh yeah, they're
- 15:24Speaker 5: pretty careful.
- 15:24Speaker 2: But let me ask you, well, in terms of the
- 15:26Speaker 2: that's clearly. But if they can take some things down,
- 15:31Speaker 2: it's a.
- 15:32Speaker 5: Question of what to take down. See, the point is
- 15:34Speaker 5: who chooses what to take down? That's the issue. That's
- 15:38Speaker 5: First Amendment. And when laws are so vague that you
- 15:43Speaker 5: don't know what is and what is and in this case,
- 15:46Speaker 5: you know what is freedom of speech? How far does
- 15:48Speaker 5: it go? We know that we can't yell fire in
- 15:51Speaker 5: a crowded theater, but can you say watch out for fire?
- 15:56Speaker 2: I don't know what, what if?
- 15:58Speaker 4: But if it's a challenge, isn't it an active participatition?
- 16:02Speaker 2: Sure? Sure it is.
- 16:03Speaker 5: And the argument is with these people, are these kids,
- 16:07Speaker 5: our teens are so vulnerable that TikTok take or the
- 16:12Speaker 5: people on TikTok take advantage of that. Remember the cinnamon challenge? Yeah, yeah,
- 16:18Speaker 5: that didn't kill you. I mean that was a little
- 16:20Speaker 5: bit bizarre, but it didn't kill you. Okay, let's go
- 16:22Speaker 5: back to handle on the news with Amy and Neil
- 16:26Speaker 5: and me.
- 16:27Speaker 4: So they're preparing the Artemis too and ramping up that mission.
- 16:32Speaker 4: It's going to send four astronauts, as we know, farther
- 16:35Speaker 4: into space than any crew has ever traveled. But you
- 16:40Speaker 4: can be a part of it. NASA is giving the
- 16:42Speaker 4: public a chance to take part by putting your name
- 16:46Speaker 4: on there. So it's a historic journey. Your name could
- 16:49Speaker 4: be attached to it, so anyone around the world is
- 16:52Speaker 4: welcome to submit their name. They do this through online
- 16:56Speaker 4: like a portal, and it will be flown on the
- 16:59Speaker 4: Artemis two mission. It's scheduled to launch no later than
- 17:05Speaker 4: April of twenty twenty six. So you can sign up
- 17:10Speaker 4: on the page and they'll give you a little printable
- 17:15Speaker 4: namesake or a little printable keepsake rather of your name
- 17:20Speaker 4: and can go on there.
- 17:21Speaker 2: Yeah, there we go that. Let's file this one under
- 17:24Speaker 2: a whoopee.
- 17:25Speaker 4: You don't think that's like slightly interesting?
- 17:29Speaker 5: Yeah fine, yeah, okay, your name goes around and it
- 17:32Speaker 5: comes back and there you go. Aren't It's like adopted elephant?
- 17:35Speaker 5: You know, with a worldwide Wildlife find at least you
- 17:38Speaker 5: get an elephant. Hey, not to take home, mind you,
- 17:41Speaker 5: but an elephant, or to adopt a kid.
- 17:44Speaker 4: Yeah, if my car ever blows up and we do
- 17:46Speaker 4: a GoFundMe, can we call it an adopt an elephant?
- 17:49Speaker 2: We can? That's well said, well said.
- 17:54Speaker 3: You can't blame Jaws for this death on the beach
- 17:59Speaker 3: thirty is trying to figure out whether a Canadian woman
- 18:02Speaker 3: who was found dead on a beach in Australia had
- 18:04Speaker 3: been killed by dingoes, which are native Australian dogs, police.
- 18:09Speaker 2: And dangerous andangerous. Oh yes, and there have been a
- 18:14Speaker 2: few of them. A dingo got my baby. Yeah, that's
- 18:17Speaker 2: exactly what happened. To remember that story, I do.
- 18:19Speaker 5: This woman went to jail for years because dingoes came
- 18:23Speaker 5: and ate the kid.
- 18:25Speaker 2: Literally and she or something. Yeah, yeah, she.
- 18:28Speaker 5: Went to jail and finally years and years later she
- 18:31Speaker 5: was exonerated. Well, this one, they found her body and
- 18:34Speaker 5: it had been quote interfered with.
- 18:36Speaker 2: They have no idea because.
- 18:38Speaker 5: They'd been basically half eaten by the dogs by the
- 18:40Speaker 5: time they got there, and so they don't know it
- 18:42Speaker 5: was that she did she already die and when they
- 18:45Speaker 5: started munching on her or did the uh that it
- 18:49Speaker 5: actually caused the dingoes actually kill her.
- 18:52Speaker 4: It's one way to get rid of a body, I suppose.
- 18:54Speaker 2: I guess, yeah, I'll give it to the dingoes. Oh.
- 18:57Speaker 4: The Mickey Rourke story that we did, Oh man, this
- 19:00Speaker 4: is just shows the character of Mickey Rourke and what
- 19:03Speaker 4: a stand up guy he is. Turning down charity cono
- 19:09Speaker 4: uh So. Actor Mickey Rorich has spoken out, Actually, this
- 19:14Speaker 4: is pretty crappy. So somebody set up a GoFundMe for him.
- 19:18Speaker 4: He was in the news because he couldn't pay his rent.
- 19:22Speaker 3: Wasn't gonna say it was his agent who did it.
- 19:25Speaker 2: Yeah, does that mean his agent keeps the money?
- 19:28Speaker 5: And I don't quite understand how that works, which is
- 19:30Speaker 5: why what we're doing with Kono is through our website
- 19:35Speaker 5: to help well, he's a plug to help Kno raise
- 19:37Speaker 5: money to buy a car because his car blew up
- 19:40Speaker 5: and he needs to get to work. So instead of
- 19:43Speaker 5: the GoFundMe page, it's KF I am six forty dot
- 19:46Speaker 5: com slash Kono, which then puts you into the go
- 19:51Speaker 5: fundme page.
- 19:52Speaker 2: And so finish the story, Well, he's obviously upset.
- 19:57Speaker 4: He goes one, it's not going to me and I
- 20:00Speaker 4: don't want it, and he said that it was vicious,
- 20:03Speaker 4: cruel gd lie to hustle money using my fing name,
- 20:08Speaker 4: so MFING embarrassing, and he says there will be severe
- 20:14Speaker 4: repercussions to the individual who did this very bad thing
- 20:18Speaker 4: to me. Anyone who knows me knows payback will be
- 20:24Speaker 4: GD severe.
- 20:26Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, what like they even find them anyway, He says,
- 20:30Speaker 5: it's a scam, which is why you know they frozen
- 20:34Speaker 5: a little kit.
- 20:35Speaker 3: Yeah, all right, things got a little shaky in the
- 20:37Speaker 3: ie yesterday, preliminary four point nine magnitude earth quake kit
- 20:42Speaker 3: just before six pm, about twelve miles northeast of Indio
- 20:47Speaker 3: in Riverside County. And then it was followed by a
- 20:50Speaker 3: bunch of aftershocks, like nine of them, ranging from two
- 20:53Speaker 3: point five to three point four. USGS says, following a
- 20:58Speaker 3: shaker like this, there's a five to ten percent increased
- 21:01Speaker 3: chance of a bigger quake.
- 21:03Speaker 5: Yeah, we are due for another big one. Last big
- 21:08Speaker 5: one on nineteen o three San Francisco where it burned
- 21:13Speaker 5: to the ground, and we had I think maybe nineteen
- 21:17Speaker 5: oh six, or it was the Galveston Hurricane was nineteen
- 21:19Speaker 5: oh three, or was nineteen ten. World War One was
- 21:22Speaker 5: nineteenth fourteen, nineteen oh three. That was December seventeenth when
- 21:26Speaker 5: the Wright brothers took off.
- 21:27Speaker 4: I'm a driver and yeah, and then that's right, Yeah.
- 21:31Speaker 2: I'm a good driver.
- 21:33Speaker 5: Three cheese balls, three cheese okay in any case, yes,
- 21:38Speaker 5: And we've had some good ones since then. I mean,
- 21:40Speaker 5: we've had the north Ridge quake, and we've had the
- 21:46Speaker 5: uh well was the other one, some of the some
- 21:48Speaker 5: of the other quakes that we've had north Ridge seventy one, Yeah,
- 21:54Speaker 5: Silmar quake, and then we had the Whittier quake.
- 21:58Speaker 2: I believe lost Whittier. Okay, moving on, alrighty.
- 22:03Speaker 4: Italian fashion designer Valentino Garavanni died in Rome at his
- 22:11Speaker 4: residence there, ninety three years young. And The Last Emperor
- 22:16Speaker 4: was a two thousand and eight documentary about him. I
- 22:19Speaker 4: love this, he said. I loved a beautiful lady. I
- 22:22Speaker 4: loved a beautiful dog. I loved the beautiful I loved
- 22:25Speaker 4: a beautiful piece of furniture. Eh jd Vance, I love beauty.
- 22:30Speaker 2: It's not my fault. He just loves beauty. Yeah.
- 22:35Speaker 4: Hands.
- 22:36Speaker 2: It was the hell of a designer too.
- 22:40Speaker 4: Oh the humanity.
- 22:43Speaker 3: Poor Lebron James. The NBA has announced starters for next
- 22:47Speaker 3: month's All Star Game, and for the first time in
- 22:50Speaker 3: a generation, Lakers forward Lebron James is not on the
- 22:55Speaker 3: starting lineup list. Luca Doncik made the list for the
- 23:00Speaker 3: Western Conference. Golden State Warriors guard Steph Curry made the list.
- 23:04Speaker 3: James has been selected to and named a starter for
- 23:07Speaker 3: a record twenty one All Star Games in his career.
- 23:11Speaker 3: Everyone since the nineteen the two thousand and five game
- 23:13Speaker 3: in Denver.
- 23:14Speaker 5: Hey, I have a question. Kono's our sports guy, Cono.
- 23:18Speaker 5: Do you follow basketball?
- 23:19Speaker 2: I do follow basketball?
- 23:21Speaker 5: Okay, so let me ask this Lebron James. Where is
- 23:26Speaker 5: he on sort of the ranking of ballplayers? And he
- 23:32Speaker 5: used to be a science fiction superstar like Intergalactic No
- 23:35Speaker 5: one could believe how good he is.
- 23:37Speaker 2: Where is he now? ABC player? Sort of in the middle.
- 23:42Speaker 4: No, he's still low grade A okay, but he's thirty
- 23:45Speaker 4: what seven to eight?
- 23:46Speaker 2: All right?
- 23:47Speaker 5: So he I mean he is still I mean he
- 23:48Speaker 5: would with his skill set, he would still be drafted
- 23:51Speaker 5: and be paid a lot of money today if he
- 23:54Speaker 5: was a twenty two year old.
- 23:56Speaker 2: Yes, he would still be starting in the NBA. Okay
- 23:58Speaker 2: if his name was not Lebron James. Okay, that was
- 24:01Speaker 2: the question I was going to ask.
- 24:03Speaker 4: Okay, what about the fact that he hates white people?
- 24:07Speaker 2: Did that have anything to do with it? That's just
- 24:11Speaker 2: beside the point. That's what I heard. You know, I
- 24:14Speaker 2: didn't know that. Is that a story? Is that a thing?
- 24:17Speaker 2: I don't know okay, I don't know sports. I don't
- 24:20Speaker 2: know who why you can?
- 24:21Speaker 5: You know, you can hate white people and not particularly
- 24:24Speaker 5: be a sportsperson. You know, there's you can be a
- 24:27Speaker 5: lot of everything, and I hate white people where everybody
- 24:31Speaker 5: hates the Jews.
- 24:32Speaker 2: You know that, don't you. That's universal? Yeah?
- 24:34Speaker 5: Oh yes, oh yeah, I sure you do. Well, Okay,
- 24:37Speaker 5: one of my favorite people, Well, that's one of your
- 24:39Speaker 5: favorite characters. A guy by the name of Jesus was
- 24:42Speaker 5: a Jew. That's right, I forgot.
- 24:45Speaker 2: That's all folks. Yeah, one of my favorite characters.
- 24:48Speaker 4: You genius. The Spanish Prime Minister has promised to get
- 24:53Speaker 4: to the bottom of why two high speed trains collided
- 24:57Speaker 4: in southern Spain, killing at least forty people. One hundred
- 25:02Speaker 4: and twenty more people were injured. This was you pointed
- 25:06Speaker 4: this out yesterday.
- 25:07Speaker 2: Handle. This has happened, yeah, or in Spain.
- 25:11Speaker 5: Several times in Spain. Yeah, that's a problem. And this
- 25:16Speaker 5: was a head on too, head on collision not fun
- 25:20Speaker 5: on you ever been on those Have you ever been
- 25:22Speaker 5: on those super fast trains, for example the TGV in France,
- 25:27Speaker 5: and Amy is saying yes, have you ever been there?
- 25:30Speaker 5: On tracks where the other train passes and it is
- 25:35Speaker 5: a blink because you're going at two hundred and fifty
- 25:39Speaker 5: miles an hour or to twenty. The other train is
- 25:42Speaker 5: going at two twenty. And if they collide, the good
- 25:46Speaker 5: news is you're vaporized. If you're in the front cars,
- 25:49Speaker 5: you never even feel it.
- 25:50Speaker 2: Listen, head on.
- 25:51Speaker 4: Collisions on the road is one thing, but when you're
- 25:53Speaker 4: on a track.
- 25:54Speaker 2: For peace, take yeah, and going two hundred miles an hour.
- 25:58Speaker 4: I gotta be able to calculate that if we've got
- 26:01Speaker 4: you know, air traffic controllers controlled.
- 26:03Speaker 2: They do, No, they do. They have a system. No, no,
- 26:05Speaker 2: they do.
- 26:06Speaker 5: But sometimes obviously a system went awry, or a wheat,
- 26:10Speaker 5: and so they're going to figure something out here a wheat? Really, yeah,
- 26:15Speaker 5: you want credit for that one? I do a pupper nickel. Yes,
- 26:19Speaker 5: it's very strong too. I think we have one more story, kind.
- 26:24Speaker 3: Of a plea from the pulpit. Three US Catholic cardinals
- 26:29Speaker 3: are urging the Trump administration to use a moral compass
- 26:33Speaker 3: in pursuing foreign policy, saying that US military action in Venezuela,
- 26:38Speaker 3: threats of acquiring Greenland, and cuts in foreign aid risk
- 26:42Speaker 3: bringing vast suffering instead of promoting peace.
- 26:49Speaker 2: Yeah, it's a moral compass.
- 26:52Speaker 5: Yeah, he has no idea what a moral compass excepting
- 26:55Speaker 5: his world in Trump world, and there is a moral
- 26:57Speaker 5: compass there, because if you're talking about getting money and
- 27:01Speaker 5: lots of it to various social programs, then what you're
- 27:04Speaker 5: doing is effectuating lazy people so they.
- 27:07Speaker 2: Don't work, so they remain on welfare. They go on welfare.
- 27:12Speaker 5: And there's a whole philosophy of this is the land
- 27:15Speaker 5: of opportunity and pull yourself itself up by the is
- 27:20Speaker 5: it bootstrings? I don't think that's a frame bootstrap now
- 27:24Speaker 5: wondering that's because boots. Yeah, boots don't have strings. They
- 27:28Speaker 5: do have straps. Yours MI, December seventeenth, nineteen oh three.
- 27:32Speaker 5: They're right, brothers.
- 27:33Speaker 2: Okay, all right, fair enough, let's go squirrel, squirrel. All right.
