- Week 8 Fantasy Football Rankings: We're headed into week eight of the fantasy football season. And if there's one thing that we've learned this year, it's that you can't just trust the big names to carry you to victory. Some of the guys that you drafted to be big scorers for your fantasy squad have really disappointed, and other guys that nobody expected are turning heads around the fantasy community. Today we're taking a look at my week eight rankings for every single position, so let's jump into it. Welcome back to Fat Daddy Sports. Today we are taking a look at the rankings for the quarterback, running back, wide receiver, and tight end. Let's jump into it right away at the quarterback position. And we are going nowhere else other than Josh Allen at quarterback number one. He gets a good matchup against Baltimore. This should be a very, very fun game. Two perennial AFC contenders there in Baltimore and Buffalo. Think that this could be an absolute shootout in this game. Josh Allen gets that quarterback number one, followed closely by Drake May, who has been the quarterback number one over the last month of fantasy football. Joe Burrow, Lamar Jackson, Trevor Lawrence, Dak Prescott, Jordan Love, Jaden Daniels, Matthew Stafford, and Caleb Williams all round out the top ten. Caleb Williams is a little bit bumped down this week just because he gets that Seattle defense. I think that he would be a lot higher. He has been playing good ball since coming back from his injury. Jordan Love also been playing good ball. Dak Prescott looked really good in week seven. But overall I'm pretty good with that top ten. I think that there's some tough matchups there. There's some guys that could take advantage of those matchups. I think that we're gonna have a lot of very, very fun football games this week. You you obviously look at that Buffalo Baltimore game that I talked about. And then you look at Tennessee and Cincinnati, Indianapolis, and Jacksonville. I think Jacksonville could put up a lot of points there in the passing game. Trevor Lawrence comes in at quarterback number five. But let's move on to the next round of quarterbacks. Jared Goff comes in at 11, Bryce Young, Jacoby Brissett, Aaron Rodgers has been playing very good. And then Patrick Mahomes there at quarterback number 15. He's been a little bit of a disappointment the last few weeks. So I've got him bumped down a little bit lower against Denver. He has not played great at Denver as of late in his career. So I've got him all the way down to 15. Aaron Rodgers has been playing very good ball. I've got him bumped up to 14, and I think he could be a very good streaming option this week for you against the Cleveland defense. And then, you know, talk about a good quarterback or a guy that's been playing very good ball. Jared Goff has been playing exceptional football. Really, I think he is in that MVP discussion. He's got a very talented cast around him. But he does get again or he does play against that Minnesota defense this week. So I have him just outside that top ten. But it would not surprise me at all to see Jared Goff as quarterback number one this week. They find a way to dissect this Minnesota defense and he takes full advantage of it. Wouldn't surprise me at all, but right now I've got him just outside that top ten. Going on to quarterback 16, Kirk Cousins, Kyler Murray, Baker Mayfield, Sam Darnold, and then Michael Penix Jr. at quarterback number 20 right now. Pennox coming off a very good game in week seven, gets a Tampa Bay defense that I think he could potentially put up some numbers against. But I do think that they will run the ball a little bit more than they have in the past. Geno Smith, Tanner McKee, Bo Nicks, and Malik Willis round out your top twenty four at the quarterback position. Before we move on to the running backs, I want to let you know that I release these videos every single week, start sit videos, ranking videos, waiver wire videos, and other fantasy football nonsense. If you see anything here that you like, be sure to drop a comment, drop a like, and hit that subscribe button. We will be doing this all season long. And let's jump into the running back position. B. John Robinson comes in as my running back number one. I know that he's been maybe a little bit of a disappointment compared to how he started the season. I think they get back to that ground game this week and he scores a couple of touchdowns against the Buccaneers. Jameer Gibbs is the running back one. I've got him bumped down just slightly to running back two. A big fall, I know, but he gets that Minnesota defense, and I think they will slow him down a little bit. He's still gonna put up a monster day. Derrick Henry, I have moved up quite a bit. I I do expect Lamar Jackson to be back, and that will help this entire Baltimore offense, including Derrick Henry, Kenneth Walker, Kyron Williams, James Cook, Javante Williams, Jonathan Taylor, Chuba Hubbard, and Josh Jacobs round out the top ten. Jacobs, we saw come back last week against Detroit and get immediately involved in that offense. I think that's only going to increase as the weeks go, and I I expect him to get into the end zone a time or two against Carolina this week. Moving on, Jalen Warren, Ashton Genti, Bayeshall Tootin, Bucky Irving, and DeAndre Swift round out the top 15. Swift, I probably could have a little bit higher, but again, he has a tough matchup against Seattle this week. Chase Brown, Tony Pollard, Ollie Gordon, Ramondre Stevenson, Blake Corum round out the top 20. Corum has been involved these last three weeks. He's put up double digit fantasy points in all three weeks. He had two touchdowns called back last week, one of which was a, I think, a 43 yard touchdown. It got called back. He could have had an even bigger number or bigger game, but he gets the Chargers defense that is not very good this year, and I expect Corum to have a very nice game as well as Kyron Williams. Brees Hall, Quinshawn Judkins, Jordan Mason, and Rashad White round out the top 24 at the running back position. Over to the wide receivers, Puka Nakua takes back over at the wide receiver number one. I just think that the the target share, he should see a ton of targets against a very bad Chargers defense. So I have him as wide receiver number one this week. Jackson Smith and Jigba falls all the way to number two. CeeDee Lamb has been a target monster and has been very, very good this year. Zay Flowers, Jamar Chase round out the top five, followed by Amon Ra St. Brown against that tough Minnesota defense we've talked about. Justin Jefferson, Drake London, keep an eye on his health, but he should have a very nice day against Tampa Bay. Parker Washington, Christian Watson round out the top ten. I think that Watson and Golden there at number eleven could have very nice days against Carolina. We've seen that all year. Those two have really dominated every defense they've played. Keep an eye on Golden's health and make sure that he is out there, but both of them should be low end wide receiver ones this week. T. Higgins, George Pickens, Luther Burden slides all the way up to 14 after his nice game against New England. Tedaro McMillan, Jalen Coker, Garrett Wilson, Michael Wilson, AJ Brown, and DJ Moore round out the top 20. Think AJ Brown, he is down there at 19. Some may want him lower, some may want him higher, but I think better days are definitely ahead for him. He is the guy in New England. They don't have another stud wide receiver like him. I'm not concerned about Demario Douglas stealing targets from AJ Brown. That's ridiculous. He's going to get it figured out, and Drake May is gonna hit him for a ton of touchdowns down the stretch. And then over to Stephon Diggs, DK Metcalf, Omar Cooper Jr., the nice rookie wide receiver in New York. He comes in at wide receiver 23. And Carnell Tate, another good wide or good rookie wide receiver in Tennessee. Omar Cooper Jr., it's tough to rank him because Garrett Wilson has obviously had two dud weeks with Omar Cooper Jr. back. Garrett Wilson's the top guy there in New York. It just hasn't worked out. two weeks ago he had Christian Gonzalez shadowing him. Omar Cooper Jr. is a nice talent. I'm just not ready to bump him up into the top fifteen quite yet. I think he is a low end wide receiver too, though. I think that's a big jump for him. Over to the tight end room, not a real surprise here. Trey McBride, Brock Bowers, Tucker Kraft, Sam Laporta, TJ Hawkinson round out the top five, followed by Colston Loveland, who has quietly put together a couple really nice games. He does get a tough defense this week against Seattle, but I I have very good confidence in Colston Loveland who They have enough weapons around that Bears offense. It's gonna be tough to guard all of them. Dallas Goddard, Brenton Strange, back from his by Travis Kelsey, Chigakonqua, who we have talked about in previous videos as somebody that I think is really gonna turn it on now that Terry McLaurin is gone for that commander's offense. I think Chigakonko could be a target monster down the stretch. Elton Kincaid, Kyle Pitts, Hunter Henry, Harold Fannon Jr., Tyler Higby, Pat Fryermouth, Tyler Warren, Mark Andrews, Mike Gasicki, and Mason Taylor breaks into that top 20 for the Jets. You know, really outside that top 12, I'm not looking to start any of those guys. If you're in a two tight end league or you're in a very, very tough spot and you need to start two tight ends, be my guest. but really those top twelve guys are who I am looking to target this week at the tight end position. But that's all I've got for you guys today on the rankings video for week eight. Let me know down in the comments who am I too high on, who am I too low on, who did I completely forget to put on this list. As always, there are injuries that pop up. There's guys that I may have just simply forgotten about, but let me know down in the comments what you're thinking.
