- 0:00SPEAKER_00: Hello, Christians.
- 0:02SPEAKER_00: This is Dallas Beacham.
- 0:04SPEAKER_00: Stand by for good news.
- 0:08SPEAKER_00: All week long we have followed a trail through prophecy.
- 0:12SPEAKER_00: Ezekiel saw Gog and the nations coming against Israel.
- 0:17SPEAKER_00: Daniel saw a troubled king coming to his end.
- 0:21SPEAKER_00: Zachariah saw Jerusalem surrounded.
- 0:25SPEAKER_00: Joel saw the nations gathered for judgment.
- 0:30SPEAKER_00: Revelation saw the Euphrates dry up and the kings assembled, and the place called Armageddon.
- 0:40SPEAKER_00: If we stop there, it would sound like bad news.
- 0:43SPEAKER_00: Armies, judgment, wrath, earthquakes, hail, war.
- 0:47SPEAKER_00: But the Bible doesn't leave God's people staring in the darkness.
- 0:52SPEAKER_00: It shows them the dawn.
- 0:54SPEAKER_00: Revelation nineteen opens with heaven.
- 0:58SPEAKER_00: Behold a white horse.
- 1:01SPEAKER_00: The one sitting on it is called faithful and true.
- 1:05SPEAKER_00: His eyes are like a flame of fire.
- 1:08SPEAKER_00: On his robe and on his thigh is a name written King of Kings and Lord of Lords.
- 1:15SPEAKER_00: That is the rest of the story.
- 1:18SPEAKER_00: Not merely that nations gather, not merely that evil rises, not merely that the world grows darker.
- 1:26SPEAKER_00: The rest of the story is that Jesus returns.
- 1:30SPEAKER_00: He judges rightly, he defeats the enemies of God.
- 1:34SPEAKER_00: He delivers his people and he reigns.
- 1:39SPEAKER_00: That is why the ending matters so much.
- 1:42SPEAKER_00: If prophecy only ended with war, it would crush the heart.
- 1:47SPEAKER_00: If revelation only ended with wrath, we would tremble with no hope.
- 1:53SPEAKER_00: But revelation does not end at Armageddon.
- 1:57SPEAKER_00: It moves beyond the battlefield.
- 2:00SPEAKER_00: It moves beyond Babylon falling.
- 2:03SPEAKER_00: It moves beyond the beast being judged.
- 2:07SPEAKER_00: It moves to a throne.
- 2:09SPEAKER_00: It moves to a city to a bride.
- 2:13SPEAKER_00: It moves to a new heaven and new earth.
- 2:17SPEAKER_00: That is the part we need to remember when we teach prophecy.
- 2:22SPEAKER_00: We are not just telling people what is wrong with the world.
- 2:27SPEAKER_00: We are telling them who is right with heaven.
- 2:32SPEAKER_00: We are not just pointing to the gathering of nations.
- 2:36SPEAKER_00: We are pointing to the coming of Christ.
- 2:38SPEAKER_00: We are not just saying judgment is coming.
- 2:42SPEAKER_00: We are saying salvation is offered.
- 2:44SPEAKER_00: Jesus died for sinners.
- 2:47SPEAKER_00: Jesus rose from the dead.
- 2:50SPEAKER_00: Jesus is coming again.
- 2:53SPEAKER_00: And the same Savior who will judge the nations is the Savior who will save every soul that calls upon his name.
- 3:03SPEAKER_00: So what should Christians do with prophecy?
- 3:06SPEAKER_00: We should not use it to scare the lost.
- 3:09SPEAKER_00: We should use it to warn them.
- 3:12SPEAKER_00: Warn them with love.
- 3:14SPEAKER_00: We should not use it to boast.
- 3:17SPEAKER_00: We should use it to worship.
- 3:20SPEAKER_00: We should not use it to set dates.
- 3:23SPEAKER_00: We should use it to set our hearts on Christ.
- 3:27SPEAKER_00: The good news is not that we can explain every headline.
- 3:32SPEAKER_00: The good news is that Jesus still saves sinners.
- 3:36SPEAKER_00: He still keeps his promises, and one day he will make all things new.
- 3:42SPEAKER_00: So let the headlines remind us to pray.
- 3:46SPEAKER_00: Let the prophecies remind us to watch.
- 3:49SPEAKER_00: Let the warnings remind us to witness.
- 3:53SPEAKER_00: If the nations are moving, Christians should not be sleeping.
- 3:58SPEAKER_00: If the hour is serious, the gospel is urgent.
- 4:02SPEAKER_00: This is not the time for cold hearts.
- 4:05SPEAKER_00: This is not the time for careless living.
- 4:08SPEAKER_00: This is not the time for silence.
- 4:11SPEAKER_00: This is the time to speak to our children, to our neighbors, to our friends.
- 4:17SPEAKER_00: Jesus is still the only safe place for the soul.
- 4:21SPEAKER_00: When the nations gather, God still reigns.
- 4:25SPEAKER_00: When kings conspire, Christ is still king.
- 4:29SPEAKER_00: When the earth shakes, the word still stands.
- 4:33SPEAKER_00: When the enemies rage, the lamb is not afraid.
- 4:37SPEAKER_00: And when history reaches its final page, the lamb will not be defeated.
- 4:44SPEAKER_00: He is coming back for his church, a people sealed by the Holy Spirit of promise.
- 4:51SPEAKER_00: Ephesians 1 says that after we heard the word of truth, the gospel of our salvation, and believed we were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise.
- 5:05SPEAKER_00: Think about it.
- 5:06SPEAKER_00: What God has sealed, the world cannot break open.
- 5:11SPEAKER_00: You belong to Him, you are kept by Him, and if you belong to Christ, your future is not fear.
- 5:19SPEAKER_00: Your future is glory.
- 5:22SPEAKER_00: The same Jesus who came first as Savior will come again as King.
- 5:28SPEAKER_00: The same Jesus who was rejected by men will be praised by heaven and by earth.
- 5:36SPEAKER_00: That is not the end of the story.
- 5:39SPEAKER_00: Jesus is the story.
- 5:42SPEAKER_00: And for the believer, that's good news.
- 5:45SPEAKER_00: I hope today's message touched your heart and causes you to have a good day.
