- 1:04Speaker 1: I can see the ruddy complexion on your chest and
- 1:07Speaker 1: I think cheese. I'd ever burn on that.
- 1:10Speaker 3: Thanks mate, It was chest just on that front. By
- 1:13Speaker 3: the way, I was really disappointed today because my wife
- 1:18Speaker 3: bought me a very cool shirt with like and phoenix
- 1:22Speaker 3: is on it.
- 1:22Speaker 1: I knew this would happen, and.
- 1:24Speaker 3: I put it on today and I loved it.
- 1:26Speaker 1: But it's massive, is what happens.
- 1:29Speaker 4: Jase tells us about a cool shirt he's got, He
- 1:31Speaker 4: says he's gonna wear it, and then doesn't wear it.
- 1:33Speaker 3: Did I wear my Lemon shirt? No?
- 1:36Speaker 1: Yes? Did you?
- 1:37Speaker 3: Yes? I loved it. But you remember the show Jake
- 1:41Speaker 3: and the Fat Man. Yeah, I looked like a character
- 1:44Speaker 3: from Jacob the Fat Fat Man. It was huge. But
- 1:46Speaker 3: I'll wear it tomorrow. That's cool. Cool just for Key.
- 1:50Speaker 3: And I'll tell you what. Old Keezy is running his
- 1:53Speaker 3: duckhead and it's one of my It's one of my favorites,
- 1:56Speaker 3: the velvety duck hat. How you going, Keezy, A man, BASTI.
- 2:00Speaker 1: He's a good day when you got your duck head on.
- 2:02Speaker 3: Yeah. Man.
- 2:03Speaker 4: For those listening, it's just a green sort of front
- 2:05Speaker 4: facing cap with a blue broom yeah, and a photo
- 2:09Speaker 4: of a duck on the photo that would be that
- 2:13Speaker 4: would be denying its glory.
- 2:14Speaker 1: It's an embroidered image of a duck coming in to
- 2:18Speaker 1: land on a lake and its wings are spread right
- 2:21Speaker 1: behind it. That's right, and it's sort of having to
- 2:23Speaker 1: avoid a few reeds that are sticking out. I'd say
- 2:25Speaker 1: it was a lake and it's bloody magnificent, thank you
- 2:28Speaker 1: it is.
- 2:29Speaker 3: It is really something special.
- 2:30Speaker 1: Janks Fellas.
- 2:31Speaker 4: So whenever I'm feeling in a particularly good mood, I'll
- 2:33Speaker 4: put the duck head on. I'll know that everything's going
- 2:34Speaker 4: to be even better.
- 2:36Speaker 3: Absolutely. Now listen, we've got a big showy head, so
- 2:39Speaker 3: we're going to get into it. We stand from the
- 2:41Speaker 3: black seeds coming in to have a little chit chat
- 2:43Speaker 3: after five o'clock. But let's kick off the show with
- 2:46Speaker 3: a better rage.
- 2:48Speaker 4: They don't forget three four eight three. If you get
- 2:50Speaker 4: in touch man, that takes through in the drawer for
- 2:52Speaker 4: a toy prize.
- 2:53Speaker 2: Pack the hood, Acky big shows with Jason Hoyt, Mike
- 2:57Speaker 2: Minogue and Keysy.
- 2:59Speaker 3: Indeed the guns and roses there on the radio, Hodarchy
- 3:04Speaker 3: picture this Wednesday, a flowing beautiful day.
- 3:06Speaker 1: Oh so good, isn't it? Jas haven't got some breaking
- 3:08Speaker 1: news man? Is it a good?
- 3:10Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 3:10Speaker 1: Sure, this is breaking news. Now for those of you
- 3:16Speaker 1: that have just joined us.
- 3:17Speaker 4: You might not be aware about Hoidy j is a
- 3:18Speaker 4: prolific darts smoker and a backbone.
- 3:22Speaker 1: However, what was it Thursday? Wednesday? What day did you
- 3:26Speaker 1: decide to give up?
- 3:28Speaker 3: I gave up on the Friday Friday.
- 3:31Speaker 4: Had one last pack of durries? You said, once I've
- 3:33Speaker 4: done this pack, she's all over.
- 3:35Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 3:36Speaker 1: You had one sing lift you kept on still in mind?
- 3:39Speaker 3: Yeah, idea. You got onto that one for as long
- 3:41Speaker 3: as I could.
- 3:42Speaker 4: Magi that one you wanted to have at home on
- 3:44Speaker 4: your deck in the sun.
- 3:45Speaker 1: Yeah, which, good man?
- 3:47Speaker 3: It was good? Yeah?
- 3:48Speaker 1: Great. And when you like sort of you know, what
- 3:50Speaker 1: is it called when you stub stub it out? Did
- 3:52Speaker 1: you go there? You go?
- 3:54Speaker 3: Yeah, chuck the ashtray out, Mogi good good stuff.
- 3:59Speaker 4: However, yesterday Hoidy Jay admitted to something shocking, which was
- 4:05Speaker 4: he was at a cafe having a coffee. An old
- 4:08Speaker 4: mate from school was there. They were catching up having
- 4:10Speaker 4: a yarn. His old mate lit up a dart off
- 4:12Speaker 4: at him one. He said, no, thank you. Then after
- 4:14Speaker 4: thirty things you went all right.
- 4:15Speaker 1: Then I'll have one. You had half a dart. You
- 4:17Speaker 1: hated it because you were four days into kicking the habit,
- 4:19Speaker 1: weren't you?
- 4:19Speaker 3: I was, yes, exactly four days and oh no, it's
- 4:22Speaker 3: too much two hours short of four days.
- 4:24Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, yeah, unfortunately, because you've got this app thing
- 4:27Speaker 4: you're using at the moment, which sort of you know,
- 4:29Speaker 4: counts up how many days you've been off the darts,
- 4:31Speaker 4: how many blah blah blah, how much money you've saved.
- 4:32Speaker 4: You had to restart that, didn't you?
- 4:35Speaker 3: Technically?
- 4:35Speaker 1: Yes, you went happy about it, Joe, How did you
- 4:37Speaker 1: feel about that? Oh?
- 4:38Speaker 3: Look, no, I I reached a point where it fellers
- 4:43Speaker 3: where I went fair cock, you know, and I, as
- 4:46Speaker 3: you pointed out quite rightly, magie, Um, you know when
- 4:51Speaker 3: was the last cigarette I had? It was at about
- 4:53Speaker 3: two o'clock.
- 4:54Speaker 1: Said, that's right when you down.
- 4:58Speaker 3: Even though I was literally about to over to four days,
- 5:01Speaker 3: I had to copy it.
- 5:01Speaker 1: Now. The funny thing about it is you don't care
- 5:04Speaker 1: about letting down your wife and your kids, but you
- 5:05Speaker 1: feel batter about letting down that app. Don't You totally
- 5:08Speaker 1: got to reset the bast.
- 5:09Speaker 3: I don't even think my wife notice, to be honest, what's.
- 5:12Speaker 4: The name of the app? By the way, just for
- 5:13Speaker 4: people they might be smoke free losers.
- 5:16Speaker 3: I think, well, you can talk to other people that
- 5:20Speaker 3: are trying to give up and get support. And I
- 5:22Speaker 3: was like, whatever, well, it's right.
- 5:23Speaker 4: We can come back with that anyway, Jose, Because I'd
- 5:25Speaker 4: like to direct your attention to a piece of audio.
- 5:26Speaker 4: This was recorded on the radio Hducky Big Show on Friday.
- 5:31Speaker 1: Okay, have a listen to this.
- 5:33Speaker 4: How about there's never been like not a punishment, but
- 5:35Speaker 4: a thing where if you do decide you are back
- 5:37Speaker 4: smoking again, like you should have to take us all
- 5:39Speaker 4: out for dinner or something, you know what I mean,
- 5:41Speaker 4: like some sort of thing you have to.
- 5:44Speaker 3: I'm prepared to do that. So that's a fair call.
- 5:46Speaker 3: I'll agree to that. Now listen.
- 5:49Speaker 1: All our partners.
- 5:50Speaker 3: Yeah, sure, I am.
- 5:52Speaker 1: Going to go. What are you reconcis? I don't think
- 5:54Speaker 1: you'll see the year at Okay. My prediction is you
- 5:57Speaker 1: do give it up, and then when we come back
- 5:59Speaker 1: and meet up again next after the summer holidays, you
- 6:01Speaker 1: walk and reek in the darts and then we go
- 6:04Speaker 1: up for Indian curry that night. Right, So Minogue's prediction
- 6:08Speaker 1: was you won't see the year out generous I said
- 6:12Speaker 1: you would, but you'd come back. Have you had a few.
- 6:15Speaker 1: You lasted four days, didn't he almost lasted twenty two hours.
- 6:21Speaker 3: Fair cop. The only issue that I have, but it's
- 6:25Speaker 3: a very.
- 6:28Speaker 1: I thought you'd take this.
- 6:29Speaker 3: No, I'm going to I'm going to get on my
- 6:30Speaker 3: hands and knees and take The only slight issue that
- 6:36Speaker 3: I have with it is that I used the phrase
- 6:40Speaker 3: I'm back smoking again, which suggests that I'm smoking again.
- 6:45Speaker 3: I'm not currently smoking again.
- 6:47Speaker 1: But but no, no, I'm cheapened it now.
- 6:51Speaker 3: You know when people, you know, when people say to
- 6:54Speaker 3: honesty is the best policy. At the end of the day,
- 6:57Speaker 3: all you can do is be honest. Yeah, I don't
- 7:00Speaker 3: feel that way at the moment. I feel like I've
- 7:02Speaker 3: been I don't know if people saw a video that
- 7:06Speaker 3: we made yesterday. I feel like I've been hammered by
- 7:08Speaker 3: Mogi at the moment, and because of my honesty and
- 7:14Speaker 3: so but no hand in the air, fair Cock, fair Cott.
- 7:19Speaker 1: So you'll take us out for an Indian curry?
- 7:21Speaker 3: Yes, I will. And partners and your partners.
- 7:23Speaker 1: All of Key's partners. Remember, I've got my fiance and
- 7:26Speaker 1: my girlfriend and my wife and that guy in.
- 7:28Speaker 3: Christian and that guy as well.
- 7:30Speaker 1: These are all throwbacks about two years.
- 7:32Speaker 3: I wasn't. I wasn't sort of thinking of all of
- 7:34Speaker 3: Keesy swinging partners, but sure, and I love taking your
- 7:38Speaker 3: wife out to dinner, Keezy, because she's a foodie man
- 7:43Speaker 3: and she appreciates her food.
- 7:45Speaker 1: Where are we going?
- 7:46Speaker 3: Well, you guys are oh, I actually know. We're going
- 7:52Speaker 3: to Ravi's.
- 7:57Speaker 2: Lucky Big Show with Jason, Mike and Kezy and then
- 8:00Speaker 2: week days at four on Radio Hodarchy.
- 8:02Speaker 3: He is indeed collective soul there on the Radio Darchy
- 8:05Speaker 3: Big Show this Wednesday afternoon and time is four forty two.
- 8:08Speaker 3: Just to remind it, we're back on the road tomorrow.
- 8:11Speaker 3: We're going to be doing the show live at Hangar
- 8:13Speaker 3: Bar out in west Auckland there, Mogi and Keesy. Yeah,
- 8:16Speaker 3: we're going to give the West a try up. Yeah,
- 8:18Speaker 3: of course, Kesey and I are West. He's at heart
- 8:21Speaker 3: and don't let us down New Zealand. We want to
- 8:23Speaker 3: packed house out there, don't we, wild west Man.
- 8:27Speaker 4: So there's four pm tomorrow from the Hangar in west
- 8:30Speaker 4: Auckland and Henderson there. It's cross the road from Trust Stadium, Peers.
- 8:33Speaker 4: We are going to be doing the official launch of
- 8:35Speaker 4: the radiohod Occupie. Thanks to Dad's pies. So when you
- 8:38Speaker 4: come along, not only we get to see the show,
- 8:41Speaker 4: you can see the show live, get yourself a backbone
- 8:43Speaker 4: t shit will one hundreds of them to give away.
- 8:44Speaker 1: You also get to try the hoot occupy, which is bloody, rare, unreal.
- 8:47Speaker 1: And Jays, you've said that you're willing to fight anybody. Yeah,
- 8:51Speaker 1: and the car parks looking forward to that. That's a
- 8:53Speaker 1: huge call in west Auckland.
- 8:55Speaker 3: Yeah. And can I just make a point too, and
- 8:57Speaker 3: this is a serious point, No daries?
- 9:00Speaker 1: What don't bring durries.
- 9:01Speaker 3: I don't want people bringing darries or leaving darries, Okay,
- 9:04Speaker 3: and I'm serious on that because people do when usually
- 9:06Speaker 3: when I say that, people do. Yeah, And so.
- 9:10Speaker 4: What you should do is say do bring darries because
- 9:14Speaker 4: reverse what's it called psychology? Yeah, people won't, so bring darries.
- 9:18Speaker 3: Sure, fellas. It's just a bit of a heads out.
- 9:22Speaker 1: Oh yes, is this the subject change?
- 9:24Speaker 3: Yes it is. I went to my agent today. As
- 9:29Speaker 3: you'll know, over the last twenty or thirty years, I've
- 9:34Speaker 3: been a prolific and well known actor in this country.
- 9:40Speaker 3: And if you don't know what I've been and maybe
- 9:42Speaker 3: just go on the Google there and get my resume.
- 9:46Speaker 3: May O, she's pretty, she's pretty impressive, let me put
- 9:51Speaker 3: it that way.
- 9:51Speaker 1: She's a long list, she is.
- 9:54Speaker 3: But anyway, I've been thinking because I want to make
- 9:56Speaker 3: a few changes in my life, and one of the
- 9:58Speaker 3: changes I want to do is change your with my
- 10:00Speaker 3: acting because the focus has been predominantly your comedies and
- 10:05Speaker 3: all that sort of stuff, and I've decided that I
- 10:09Speaker 3: want to go more sort of action hero kind of
- 10:11Speaker 3: lead at aka Liam Neeson kind of vibe. So I
- 10:17Speaker 3: when I had a chat with my agent today, she
- 10:19Speaker 3: thought that was a great idea because there's been a
- 10:21Speaker 3: bit flat out there, as you would know, Mogi. Yeah,
- 10:24Speaker 3: And so I wanted to give you the heads up
- 10:26Speaker 3: because it may be that old Hordy Jay's are a
- 10:28Speaker 3: bit more filming now over the next sort of probably
- 10:31Speaker 3: not this year, but next year. The role sort of
- 10:33Speaker 3: looking ahead, right, So you might not be as prolific
- 10:36Speaker 3: in the radio as as I have been in a
- 10:38Speaker 3: passion movie.
- 10:40Speaker 1: You have a stunt double, James, will you be doing
- 10:42Speaker 1: all your.
- 10:43Speaker 3: Own as a matter of pride? Really, I like to
- 10:48Speaker 3: do my own sons always have.
- 10:49Speaker 1: Yeah, very much like Tom Cruise. In fact, when we
- 10:52Speaker 1: won the World Tiest Championship and you got your your
- 10:55Speaker 1: buzzies out there, Yes, and you flesh you very very much.
- 10:58Speaker 1: You've got a Tom Cruise is tight body.
- 11:01Speaker 3: I do.
- 11:03Speaker 1: A ruddy sort of red skin, can I can?
- 11:06Speaker 3: I seduced to you, Mogen? You can look this up
- 11:08Speaker 3: if you like. And by way of a comparison, I'm
- 11:11Speaker 3: more sort of Harvey Kai tell.
- 11:13Speaker 1: Body more Harvey Weinstein.
- 11:20Speaker 2: The Big Shows with Jason Hoyt, Mike Minogue and kisy Is.
- 11:25Speaker 3: Indeed ly Zeppelin there on the radio, Honanche Big Show
- 11:28Speaker 3: this Wednesday afternoon. Now listen the Q New Classic Car
- 11:32Speaker 3: and hot Rod Festival. Have you heard about that? Feelings?
- 11:35Speaker 1: Man, I've been a million times billion. Do they have
- 11:38Speaker 1: it every year?
- 11:39Speaker 3: They have it every year?
- 11:40Speaker 1: You're a million years old? Yeah, Jason's forty three.
- 11:44Speaker 3: Listen if you want to get in the drawer to
- 11:46Speaker 3: maybe when flights an accommodation to go go along to
- 11:49Speaker 3: that festival, then listen up.
- 11:51Speaker 4: After that's right, you'll step to listen out for this.
- 11:56Speaker 4: That's the big show, Honker with Mike.
- 11:58Speaker 1: That's good Tho. I've changed it. We've gone back to
- 12:01Speaker 1: the original. We haven't.
- 12:03Speaker 4: Yeah, just listen out for it. You'll know ye ready
- 12:06Speaker 4: to call eight hundred Houdarky also lost returning after five
- 12:09Speaker 4: MOGI is the Big Show Gift Giving Guide.
- 12:13Speaker 1: It went down really well yesterday.
- 12:14Speaker 4: People were saying thanks heaps for the advice finding out
- 12:17Speaker 4: what I should buy my other half.
- 12:19Speaker 1: So we decided today we'll do it for parents.
- 12:21Speaker 4: So if you've got any ideas are great gifts that
- 12:23Speaker 4: you can give your parents, take them through on three
- 12:25Speaker 4: four eight three. You can win yourself into a prize pack.
- 12:27Speaker 3: What what is in that pack?
- 12:30Speaker 1: By the way, don't worry about.
- 12:36Speaker 2: The HD aching Big Show with Jason, Mike and Kezy.
- 12:39Speaker 2: Tune in week days at four on Radio Hodak.
- 12:41Speaker 3: Welcome back to your messive backblones. Hope your Wednesday is
- 12:44Speaker 3: going along very nicely. Indeed you are, in fact listening
- 12:47Speaker 3: to the Big Show, brought to you by Tilly Get
- 12:50Speaker 3: it in.
- 12:50Speaker 1: You, yeah, right till he's brought back the billboards fellas
- 12:55Speaker 1: they're out and about. It's bloody great lights up my life.
- 12:57Speaker 1: Every time I see one, I've got to get out
- 12:58Speaker 1: and about a bit more mean because I sort of
- 13:00Speaker 1: operating a three kilometer radius of the studio. Sure, so
- 13:04Speaker 1: I haven't seen I haven't seen many, which is show
- 13:06Speaker 1: you on that note. Can people send us in some photos?
- 13:08Speaker 1: Can people do that on our instagram some photos of

- 13:25Speaker 1: good idea of that, Pugs, I think.
- 13:26Speaker 3: On that front, if you want to go on the Instagram.
- 13:28Speaker 3: By the way, we released our own little billboards, didn't
- 13:33Speaker 3: we fell us with a big show.
- 13:34Speaker 1: That's right? Yeah, certainly hoy j is going to give
- 13:37Speaker 1: up the darts.
- 13:38Speaker 3: Yeah right.
- 13:39Speaker 1: It's funny because my one said Keys is definitely wearing
- 13:42Speaker 1: his wedding ring. Yeah right.
- 13:44Speaker 3: It was a good one.
- 13:45Speaker 1: I came in to have a go at the.
- 13:46Speaker 4: Pantsmen and Pugs for actually making that, and I realized
- 13:49Speaker 4: I'd forgot my wedding ring.
- 13:50Speaker 3: Yeah, do you take your wedding ring off? Just as
- 13:53Speaker 3: a general rule, I haven't taken my wedding ring off
- 13:57Speaker 3: ten years.
- 13:57Speaker 4: Were every time I wash my hands or have a shower.
- 14:00Speaker 4: I just against like soap and all sorts of crap
- 14:02Speaker 4: underneath it. So I've started taking it off to you.
- 14:04Speaker 1: The trick is you stop washing your hands, man, What
- 14:07Speaker 1: are you washing your hands for? Crow Well? Because I
- 14:10Speaker 1: go to the luin that.

- 14:16Speaker 3: enough mate, if you worry about that sort of stuff,
- 14:18Speaker 3: hey you now. It's previously mentioned, Dan from the Black
- 14:21Speaker 3: Seeds is going to be coming in after around five thirty.
- 14:24Speaker 1: I think celerates the no Dan weetman.
- 14:27Speaker 4: I think it is from the Black Seeds coming into
- 14:30Speaker 4: celebrate twenty year anniversary of one of the Well. It
- 14:32Speaker 4: was kind of the album that put them on the
- 14:33Speaker 4: map really, which is cool. And before that coming up
- 14:36Speaker 4: next though, it is the Big Show Gift Giving Guide.
- 14:38Speaker 4: If you've got any any ideas for presents that would
- 14:41Speaker 4: be good to get your parents, send it through to

- 15:06Speaker 4: of the year where you are looking into gifts for
- 15:09Speaker 4: the favorite people in your family. You know, your parents
- 15:11Speaker 4: and siblings, whoever it might be.
- 15:12Speaker 3: I don't have favorites in my family. By the way,
- 15:15Speaker 3: every one of my family is my favorite.
- 15:16Speaker 1: Right, Okay, do you do have favorite?
- 15:18Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 15:19Speaker 1: Everyone?
- 15:20Speaker 4: M And yesterday was a huge success. Yesterday we did
- 15:23Speaker 4: your other half. So today we're going to be doing
- 15:26Speaker 4: your parents.
- 15:30Speaker 3: Did anyone text through on that regard, by the way, yeah?
- 15:36Speaker 1: Yeah. So I've got a question for you, Kes, what
- 15:39Speaker 1: would you get your mom Christmas was coming up. You've
- 15:42Speaker 1: known her for a long time, special lady in your life.
- 15:44Speaker 1: What are you getting there?
- 15:45Speaker 3: Ah? Because I know what I've got here.
- 15:48Speaker 4: I am getting here and if this gets out, I'll
- 15:50Speaker 4: be furious. A copy of my wife's family's cookbook they've
- 15:54Speaker 4: put together. They've put together a cookbook of all their
- 15:57Speaker 4: family recipes. Isn't she from christ Yeah?

- 16:08Speaker 1: in a nice drink bottle as well, that's nice drink
- 16:13Speaker 1: she always uses. She's had the same drink bottle for
- 16:15Speaker 1: like twenty years. Right, if she's she's never lost her
- 16:19Speaker 1: never lost her looks terrible, that's amazing nice. I would
- 16:23Speaker 1: get your mom a sentual message. It's cool, man, It's
- 16:29Speaker 1: not just what's for my mom?
- 16:30Speaker 3: Oh? Right?
- 16:31Speaker 1: Would you get that's not what the sigma is guys,
- 16:34Speaker 1: But I was just.
- 16:34Speaker 3: Going to say, just there, mug, give you some central
- 16:36Speaker 3: oils that you could probably give Keys's mum? Can I
- 16:42Speaker 3: just ask, like shut up?
- 16:44Speaker 1: People have ticked through on three four eight three. They've
- 16:46Speaker 1: got great advice here.
- 16:49Speaker 3: I didn't realize that.
- 16:52Speaker 4: You can get your old man ad Walt nine piece
- 16:54Speaker 4: cordless power combo kit.
- 16:57Speaker 1: That's from Sophia Done. Would love that. This isn't my family. Yeah,
- 17:04Speaker 1: we're buying it. Just advice. People out there listening.
- 17:06Speaker 3: Generally speaking, Yeah, can I ask Keyesy, because I've been
- 17:11Speaker 3: thinking about it? Would your mind? Would your mum like

- 17:23Speaker 3: One piece of lingerie because I bought, as you know,
- 17:30Speaker 3: I bought my my mother in law one of those.
- 17:32Speaker 3: She loved it.
- 17:35Speaker 1: Famously. She loved it famously famously. Yeah, someone else here
- 17:40Speaker 1: has suggested you could get an outdoor filarting table for dead,
- 17:43Speaker 1: So he starts pissing off mum by filleting fish in
- 17:46Speaker 1: the kitchen. Very good, it's very good.
- 17:49Speaker 3: What would you get your dad, say, for example, Mogi.
- 17:53Speaker 1: Oh might get him. This sounds weird, but probably just

- 21:41Speaker 3: much every year. Are you going to go this?
- 21:42Speaker 4: Yep, you're a good many trying to digest the pie
- 21:45Speaker 4: and speak already at the same time.
- 21:47Speaker 3: Just to answer the question, would you?
- 21:49Speaker 4: I will will be keenough to see if my dad's
- 21:51Speaker 4: keen to go, because he hasn't been in a few years.
- 21:53Speaker 4: If he's not keen, you know he is because he
- 21:55Speaker 4: knows pretty much everyone, Like all the old boys that
- 21:57Speaker 4: are selling stuff, He's mates with.
- 21:59Speaker 3: Them, ball, So I'd be pretty keen to get under
- 22:01Speaker 3: the hood of a few vehicles.
- 22:02Speaker 1: They're easy with you get under people's hoods.
- 22:05Speaker 3: Totally. Are you gonna do under this chant engines and stuff?
- 22:08Speaker 1: Well, under the hood you're gonna chat. Oh that's what
- 22:10Speaker 1: you do, man, come to you?
- 22:12Speaker 3: Yeah, totally.
- 22:13Speaker 1: Have you been before?
- 22:14Speaker 3: Yes? All the time?
- 22:15Speaker 4: Right, I've just never seen you there millions of times.
- 22:18Speaker 4: Do you want me to do you want to go
- 22:19Speaker 4: to the ad so you can keep eating the pie?
- 22:21Speaker 3: Could we?
- 22:21Speaker 1: Yeah? By the way, Dan for the Black Seeds and
- 22:23Speaker 1: up next.
- 22:24Speaker 2: To the whole Achy Big shows with Jason Hoyt, Mike
- 22:28Speaker 2: Minogue and Kesy.
- 22:30Speaker 3: This indeed green day there on the radio Hodarchy Big Show,
- 22:33Speaker 3: This Glorious, This glorious Wednesday aftering Fells. You know, I'm
- 22:38Speaker 3: looking outside there in the beautiful Auckland City. It's a
- 22:41Speaker 3: lovely sunny day. Summer is upon us. And when I
- 22:43Speaker 3: think about summer and when I think about tunes, I
- 22:47Speaker 3: put two things together, Summer and the Black Seeds. Do
- 22:50Speaker 3: you guys do the same thing. It's like, when I
- 22:52Speaker 3: think of what kind of music do I want to
- 22:54Speaker 3: listen to and summer, I think the Black Seeds.
- 22:56Speaker 1: I think Fat Freddy's Drop, I think the Black Seeds,
- 22:58Speaker 1: I think Catch a Fire, I think all that stuff,
- 23:01Speaker 1: which is why it's extremely exciting to have Dan from
- 23:03Speaker 1: the Black Seeds in the studio with us right now. Hey, fellas,
- 23:06Speaker 1: get out.
- 23:07Speaker 4: What's the deal with the Black Seeds when summer hits?
- 23:09Speaker 4: So you guys just go through the roof in terms
- 23:11Speaker 4: of streams and things, because it is very synonymous with
- 23:13Speaker 4: good weather in New Zealand.
- 23:14Speaker 5: I guess it's like the one song that does is
- 23:17Speaker 5: so true that goes to the roof. What about call
- 23:19Speaker 5: Me DOWNNT Me Down?
- 23:21Speaker 1: Yeah? And winter as well? That one man. Yeah, I
- 23:25Speaker 1: think it does make Seeds.
- 23:27Speaker 3: I didn't want to suggest for a minute there that
- 23:29Speaker 3: you're just a summer band. I mean, you guys are
- 23:31Speaker 3: all round, you know, good vibes all year round, but
- 23:36Speaker 3: I mean summertime. I mean, I just think it's because
- 23:39Speaker 3: everyone's feeling great, the sun's out, and you guys just
- 23:42Speaker 3: have the tunes for that kind of mood.
- 23:43Speaker 5: Yeah, I think I think it does fit into summer. Yeah, yeah,
- 23:46Speaker 5: it's definitely summer music. I mean, not all of it,
- 23:49Speaker 5: but you know what we're talking about today with the
- 23:53Speaker 5: celebrating twenty years.
- 23:54Speaker 1: Of All the Sun, that album, yeah, that's got summer
- 23:59Speaker 1: all over it.
- 24:00Speaker 4: On the Sun from You Guys is like based off
- 24:02Speaker 4: a true story. Fat Freddy's drop like for me because
- 24:04Speaker 4: I had I was given Your Guys first LP, which
- 24:08Speaker 4: had like black Sunrise and stuff like that on it.
- 24:11Speaker 1: Yeah that's right.
- 24:12Speaker 4: And then On the Sun came out, so true came
- 24:14Speaker 4: out had the video clip of you guys, but that's
- 24:16Speaker 4: when you guys are in the Old Hold and.
- 24:17Speaker 1: Doing a road trip, right, that's right?
- 24:19Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, yeah, that and Based on a true Story
- 24:21Speaker 4: came out similar times, and so it seems to be
- 24:23Speaker 4: quite synonymous with that sort of I don't know, it's
- 24:27Speaker 4: just it seems to me like such an iconic moment
- 24:28Speaker 4: in New Zealand music.
- 24:29Speaker 5: Yeah, I guess you associated with summer because that video
- 24:33Speaker 5: with the Holder. Yeah, on the East Coast driving around
- 24:36Speaker 5: in summer, you know before we got two days popped
- 24:40Speaker 5: up to shirt that, but we were there for seven days.
- 24:43Speaker 5: The other five days. That's just persing down with ray Y. Yeah, yeah,
- 24:47Speaker 5: that is so true.
- 24:48Speaker 1: Well see what you did when that came out, Keyzy
- 24:52Speaker 1: would have been about ten or eleven, that'd be about right.
- 24:54Speaker 1: I was thirteen. Ye around that time, I just moved
- 25:02Speaker 1: back from Australia and moved to Wellington. And it was
- 25:05Speaker 1: a huge time for Wellington right across the country because
- 25:09Speaker 1: you had you had Freddie's, you had Rhombus, you had
- 25:12Speaker 1: you guys, Trinity Roots. There was just so many bands
- 25:16Speaker 1: that came out of Wellington that influenced the entire country.
- 25:20Speaker 1: It was just an incredible time to be Wellington base,
- 25:23Speaker 1: wasn't it.
- 25:23Speaker 5: Yeah Yeah, Yeah, it was a great time and it
- 25:27Speaker 5: was just perfect time and that all of those bands
- 25:29Speaker 5: sound quite different, kind of come under you know, not reggae,
- 25:34Speaker 5: but it had elements of reggae and bass heavy music
- 25:37Speaker 5: is how I would say it, and all just coming
- 25:39Speaker 5: out at the same time and succeeding.
- 25:42Speaker 1: Yeah, it was great.
- 25:43Speaker 3: Does it feel like twenty years Dan, or do you
- 25:46Speaker 3: go twenty years?
- 25:48Speaker 1: No?
- 25:48Speaker 3: Way?
- 25:52Speaker 5: Five years ago I think I said, whoa, that's been
- 25:54Speaker 5: twenty years. Black Seas have been together twenty six years. Wow,
- 26:00Speaker 5: I'm just excited about We've been working on album eight
- 26:04Speaker 5: just over the weekend, and if we were working on
- 26:07Speaker 5: new music, I think I'd feel pretty old and lame
- 26:11Speaker 5: coming here to talk about an album years ago.
- 26:15Speaker 1: You got, said Dave Dobbin Vibes.
- 26:18Speaker 3: I was going to say, because we had the Fellas
- 26:20Speaker 3: from she had about a week.
- 26:23Speaker 1: Or so of engines. Yeah, last year, they're calling it
- 26:26Speaker 1: last year. Times moving fast.
- 26:30Speaker 3: They're calling it quits. Yeah, they're going you know, we've
- 26:32Speaker 3: we've done our dash. We're still creating great music and
- 26:35Speaker 3: we want to kind of leave. Are you guys still
- 26:37Speaker 3: going strong? You're still feeling good about what you're doing obviously? Yeah?
- 26:40Speaker 5: Yeah, definitely. I mean I feel I just feel a
- 26:45Speaker 5: lot more complete. Favorite day job, and then going to
- 26:48Speaker 5: Wellington last weekend and writing new music and it was
- 26:52Speaker 5: a good session. There's some great stuff there and and
- 26:55Speaker 5: like I said, if we went, we're doing that and
- 26:58Speaker 5: coming here just to talk about an album we did,
- 27:00Speaker 5: which is a great album twenty years ago.
- 27:04Speaker 4: Yeah, this is we talked to she had about a
- 27:08Speaker 4: decade ago, and they were saying that the reason they
- 27:10Speaker 4: hanging it up is because if they're not going to
- 27:12Speaker 4: keep creating new music, you don't just want to go
- 27:13Speaker 4: around playing the old stuff, even though the fans would
- 27:16Speaker 4: be totally sweet as with it is it go hand
- 27:18Speaker 4: in hand.
- 27:18Speaker 1: You can't do one without the other, No, I think, Yeah,
- 27:21Speaker 1: we always talk about that.
- 27:22Speaker 5: It's like you don't there's a lot of old tunes
- 27:24Speaker 5: in there, but you've got to mix it up with
- 27:26Speaker 5: the new ones. And I mean, what are you getting
- 27:28Speaker 5: inspired by? I mean I used to really put playing
- 27:32Speaker 5: live ahead of being in the studio, and now I'm like,
- 27:36Speaker 5: I love going in there and creating, and you've got
- 27:41Speaker 5: to When I don't have that, it's like not speaking.
- 27:44Speaker 5: You're not getting your ideas about out there. You're not
- 27:46Speaker 5: getting your voice out there. And it's just good for
- 27:49Speaker 5: my soul and I'm a better person for it.
- 27:53Speaker 3: I'll tell you what we'll do. We'll go to a
- 27:54Speaker 3: chew what tune are we going.
- 27:55Speaker 4: To of course there's another to choose from from this
- 27:57Speaker 4: particular album that is turning twenty, but we've gone for
- 28:00Speaker 4: one that we play all the time here on Radiohodachi,
- 28:01Speaker 4: which is Fire by the Black Seeds.
- 28:04Speaker 1: Quick down about that, Dan, What's Fire? Who wrote that?
- 28:06Speaker 1: Would that come from?
- 28:07Speaker 3: Well?
- 28:08Speaker 5: Brett Mackenzie. He came with that idea, Yeah, right, Yeah,
- 28:12Speaker 5: it's just that phase we're just bringing in. We're listening
- 28:15Speaker 5: to a lot of funk and really wanting to bring
- 28:17Speaker 5: that in to mix in with the reggae and and
- 28:20Speaker 5: Brett's just always brought great ideas, so that was a
- 28:25Speaker 5: great one.
- 28:26Speaker 1: Yeah, Mackenzie. I always remember the first time I heard that,
- 28:29Speaker 1: So I want to talk about that after after we
- 28:31Speaker 1: hear the tune the iking being shown podcast yees.
- 28:40Speaker 3: Speaking of the Black Seeds go, Dan from the Black
- 28:42Speaker 3: Seeds and with us, So what's.
- 28:44Speaker 1: But I just wanted to talk about the first time
- 28:46Speaker 1: that song. Well, I was living down in Wellington, Man
- 28:51Speaker 1: and it was in it was in two thousand and
- 28:52Speaker 1: four and I had a place in Row Valley there
- 28:55Speaker 1: and at that stage I was working in film. I
- 28:57Speaker 1: was working out at Stone Street and generally when you're
- 29:00Speaker 1: working on jobs out there, You're doing huge hours. But
- 29:02Speaker 1: I managed to get an early mark and I went home,
- 29:04Speaker 1: went home, go inside to throw a surprise and missus
- 29:08Speaker 1: and that song is cranking on the radio, and I
- 29:12Speaker 1: walk and walk through the kitchen, which goes into the lounge,
- 29:15Speaker 1: which goes into the bedroom, and there she is vigorously
- 29:18Speaker 1: making love to my brother. Is that a true story?
- 29:22Speaker 1: And I thought to myself, God, damn it, that is
- 29:24Speaker 1: a great song. I've never forgotten that because you blasted
- 29:28Speaker 1: all the time. The thing about music, man, is it
- 29:31Speaker 1: brings back memories. Yeah, yeah, and it was vigorous. You
- 29:36Speaker 1: were saying, I didn't realize I had a thing or
- 29:40Speaker 1: to learn.
- 29:40Speaker 3: It's funny, isn't it How we associate certain times of
- 29:44Speaker 3: our life with certain things that happened.
- 29:47Speaker 1: And it is a great funny for me.
- 29:49Speaker 3: It wasn't funny funny, but it was sort of You
- 29:52Speaker 3: were in a situation, though, Mogi, where at least you
- 29:54Speaker 3: had a good tune.
- 29:55Speaker 1: Yeah, you know.
- 29:58Speaker 3: That it would have been a dreadful.
- 30:01Speaker 1: It was unbelievable. Yeah, it was right. He was right
- 30:05Speaker 1: in the you know.
- 30:07Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, my god.
- 30:09Speaker 4: So the reason we've got damn for the Black Seeds
- 30:11Speaker 4: and is because the album which that song came off
- 30:13Speaker 4: on the Sun is celebrating its twentieth and adversary. You
- 30:16Speaker 4: guys are releasing it on vinyl. A lot of people
- 30:19Speaker 4: these days. Vinyls just massively exploded, hasn't it? So getting
- 30:22Speaker 4: something out on vinyl? Did you guys have that as
- 30:24Speaker 4: a release when you actually released the album back in
- 30:28Speaker 4: See that's n no, no, it's it's bloody expensive.
- 30:31Speaker 5: Yeah right, okay, so there were only a thousand of
- 30:34Speaker 5: these pressed and we'll see how it goes if we're
- 30:37Speaker 5: going to do anymore.
- 30:38Speaker 1: But it's a thousand, so that's you know, limited edition.
- 30:41Speaker 4: How hard is it to get to even get in
- 30:43Speaker 4: the que to get vinyls pressed? Because it seems like
- 30:45Speaker 4: everyone wants to do it at the moment.
- 30:46Speaker 5: Yeah, I think it's eas off now, but yeah, that
- 30:48Speaker 5: was a few months ago when we came out with
- 30:50Speaker 5: the idea to get it done.
- 30:51Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 30:51Speaker 3: How much is the vinyl?
- 30:53Speaker 1: Yeah? How much is the vinyl to make to buy?
- 30:55Speaker 3: There?
- 30:55Speaker 1: About eighty or bucks or something crazy?
- 30:57Speaker 3: You were shiitting me.
- 31:00Speaker 1: Expensive? Yeah, we don't want to go to number one,
- 31:02Speaker 1: can get for money.
- 31:04Speaker 3: It's a great album to get.
- 31:06Speaker 1: Two of them.
- 31:06Speaker 3: It's eighty bucks. It's a thousand, one thousand and eighty
- 31:10Speaker 3: bucks grand, one hundred and fifty grand. That's what's Your
- 31:15Speaker 3: guys cut their smalls.
- 31:19Speaker 1: Where they like ten shillings or like ten Peter, wasn't it? Yeah?
- 31:24Speaker 3: And you had to hand crank your vinyls, you know
- 31:26Speaker 3: what I mean?
- 31:28Speaker 1: Crank? Yeah? Is that where you got that habit? From arms? Anyway?
- 31:32Speaker 1: Damn from the Black Seeds? Is here question? So Britt mackenzie,
- 31:36Speaker 1: obvious he was involved back in the day. Yes, he
- 31:38Speaker 1: can since come back to the band.
- 31:40Speaker 4: Because obviously he went away and then came back and
- 31:41Speaker 4: then pops up here and there on different songs.
- 31:44Speaker 5: BRIT's After Into the Dojo, that was his last album.
- 31:47Speaker 5: Obviously did fly to the concures writing music for you know,
- 31:52Speaker 5: different movies and and he's also you know, got a
- 31:54Speaker 5: solo career. Yeah, he came back to celebrate last Friday
- 31:58Speaker 5: where us at the studio.
- 32:00Speaker 1: It was really cool because.
- 32:02Speaker 5: We'd had a few beers and a few pizzas and
- 32:04Speaker 5: then we're Barney was like, let's have a jam. So
- 32:08Speaker 5: there's like I think it was fourteen people and they're
- 32:12Speaker 5: having a jam and Brett got behind the keyboard, so
- 32:15Speaker 5: cool and swapped over bass players and swapped over dramas.
- 32:19Speaker 5: So we've got two jams there, which.
- 32:23Speaker 1: It was. It was quite cool. When we listened back
- 32:24Speaker 1: to it, it's like, you know, I wasn't fueled by
- 32:27Speaker 1: the blooze.
- 32:28Speaker 5: It's actually quite good because it's like we're quite surprise listening.
- 32:32Speaker 1: Actually, if we were to reunite in like twenty years
- 32:37Speaker 1: and then just like he should, we have a gym
- 32:38Speaker 1: set around some mics and then yelled backbone, and I
- 32:40Speaker 1: don't think that would be there personally, I.
- 32:43Speaker 3: Think it would be keys.
- 32:47Speaker 4: One question the meaning to ask the Black Seeds if
- 32:51Speaker 4: anyone came through. You guys were on an episode of
- 32:54Speaker 4: Breaking Bed.
- 32:54Speaker 1: Weren't you? Didn't you feature on an episode of Breaking Bed?
- 32:57Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 32:57Speaker 1: The song one by One was one by one? How
- 33:01Speaker 1: massive was that? Because that's one of the best TV
- 33:02Speaker 1: shows ever made? It was pretty huge.
- 33:04Speaker 5: I mean at the time that show was just starting,
- 33:07Speaker 5: no one really knew what it was. Yes, And I
- 33:10Speaker 5: just remember telling the story today. I turned on the
- 33:12Speaker 5: TV and these these guys making to myth and our
- 33:16Speaker 5: tunes played and not for the first time, and I
- 33:21Speaker 5: was like, what that someone's screwed up the music video.
- 33:24Speaker 1: Guys, what's happening here? And that's how I first saw it.
- 33:28Speaker 5: It was yeah, yeah, No, I knew that it was
- 33:31Speaker 5: going to be on the TV show, but I didn't
- 33:33Speaker 5: realize what scene was.
- 33:36Speaker 1: A feeling about that after? Now looking back, is it awesome?
- 33:39Speaker 1: It was probably a little bit higher myself. Probably not
- 33:41Speaker 1: on me.
- 33:46Speaker 3: Give us some Edmund here. You asked for Edmund, read
- 33:51Speaker 3: the record and all that sort of jazz.
- 33:52Speaker 1: Mate, Well it's available? Is it available right now? It's
- 33:55Speaker 1: about to release?
- 33:56Speaker 4: Yeah, Friday, Friday, the actual record, it's the record itself releases.
- 34:01Speaker 4: That's when it'll be available. You can also pre order
- 34:03Speaker 4: the vinyl at the moment. We'll chuck some details up, correct.
- 34:05Speaker 4: You know what we'll do is we'll check a photo
- 34:07Speaker 4: up on our Instagram story as well with all the
- 34:09Speaker 4: links and stuff. And there's only a thousand copies of it.
- 34:12Speaker 3: So do you want to go Halves? He's keysy me
- 34:14Speaker 3: and you go Halves. He's got eighty bucks, man, I
- 34:18Speaker 3: mean eighty buck.
- 34:19Speaker 1: Do you even have a record play?
- 34:20Speaker 3: Oh you've got a gramophone? Yeah? Hey Dan, Well that's
- 34:24Speaker 3: fantastic mate, Thanks for coming in. And having a bit
- 34:27Speaker 3: of a chet chat with us and very quickly any

- 35:13Speaker 1: What is the spicy sauce? By the way, is it
- 35:15Speaker 1: black Seeds? You ready for this man? It's called the

- 36:05Speaker 3: Mogi.
- 36:05Speaker 1: See he's got some breaking.
- 36:06Speaker 3: New, okay, some breaking news six o'clock and as always,
- 36:10Speaker 3: of course, what's on the TV with me? Mike Minetogio.
- 36:17Speaker 2: The whole aching Big Show with Jason, Mike and Kezy.
- 36:20Speaker 2: Tune in week days at four on radio.
- 36:22Speaker 3: Hold ikey, welcome back to your massive backbones. You're listening
- 36:24Speaker 3: to the Big Show, brought to you by two We.
- 36:28Speaker 1: Come on, drink me definitely get it in you can.
- 36:32Speaker 1: We can, boy, so serious man, Come on, fellow, you
- 36:38Speaker 1: could do with a laugh. Man, look to be honest.
- 36:40Speaker 1: Jas is the self proclaimed a river and voice of
- 36:42Speaker 1: the nation. Two reckons. The world's gotten a little too
- 36:44Speaker 1: serious and you're demonstrating that.
- 36:47Speaker 3: Now, can we just all grow up a little bit? Please?
- 36:51Speaker 3: On the show.
- 36:54Speaker 1: Man, you gotta stop, but you need to see one
- 36:57Speaker 1: of these toy billboards. Man, honestly, i've heard about the man.
- 37:01Speaker 1: To be fair, you have a bit of a laugh
- 37:04Speaker 1: when you read them. That's a little something to you know,
- 37:06Speaker 1: have give you a little giggle on the way to work,
- 37:08Speaker 1: on the way home. Oh yeah, yeah, you're on your
- 37:10Speaker 1: way anywhere. Really.
- 37:11Speaker 4: Yeah, I'll keep an eye out if I could choose
- 37:13Speaker 4: between listening to the big show.
- 37:14Speaker 1: We're just looking at one of their billboards. I go
- 37:17Speaker 1: to the billboard every day of the week.
- 37:18Speaker 3: Get right, Yeah, hey, Now, listen to the podcast outro today,
- 37:25Speaker 3: which is the warm up to the show. But it's
- 37:26Speaker 3: a separate podcast from that highlights package of the show.
- 37:30Speaker 3: I don't know what are we talking about here. I
- 37:33Speaker 3: do know you want to go and see if you
- 37:35Speaker 3: can remember it's Moggie basically talking about his six piece parties.
- 37:40Speaker 1: With It's Moggie's family doing theme Christmas parties every year. Families,
- 37:49Speaker 1: there'll be heaps of people that you got a big
- 37:50Speaker 1: family and they have it. They run a theme on
- 37:53Speaker 1: Christmas day. This time it's some kind of sparkly themes
- 37:56Speaker 1: of their head. Oh yeah, pirate sex party where yeah,
- 38:03Speaker 1: with the family. It might happen at your joy mate,
- 38:05Speaker 1: but not around mine. Yeah.
- 38:08Speaker 4: So if you listen the full the full yard of that,
- 38:12Speaker 4: just type in Hadaki Big Show ever get your potties
- 38:14Speaker 4: from Daily seven thirty highlights package and that comes out.
- 38:17Speaker 1: It's pretty good. What if you like, I can't believe
- 38:19Speaker 1: they POGs chose. It doesn't paint you in a very
- 38:23Speaker 1: good lighthood.
- 38:24Speaker 3: Yeah, it doesn't at all. And when you say type,
- 38:26Speaker 3: and I mean obviously if you like, I'm an old,
- 38:28Speaker 3: olivetty typewriter, that's not going to come up with anything.
- 38:31Speaker 1: It's just going to be like, that's a really good point.
- 38:35Speaker 1: Type it in an Internet browser of some sort. Yes,
- 38:38Speaker 1: thank you, advice connected to the internet, thank you. It's
- 38:41Speaker 1: good spotting podcast search engine. Oh there's cool, Kesy, it
- 38:45Speaker 1: makes no sense. Up next, Mogi's got some breaking news.
- 38:49Speaker 2: This is huge The Darky Big Shows with Jason Hoyt,
- 38:53Speaker 2: Mike Minogue and Keysy.
- 38:55Speaker 3: The Blanky's here on the radio Hodanky Big Show this
- 38:58Speaker 3: Wednesday evening. But I believe we've got breaking news this.
- 39:02Speaker 1: Is breaking news.
- 39:06Speaker 4: But yeah, just before you share it, the fact that
- 39:09Speaker 4: we left it until now because it was like fifteen
- 39:11Speaker 4: minutes ago that we were like, oh you've got some
- 39:12Speaker 4: breaking news.
- 39:13Speaker 1: I think it was an hour ago. Yeah, yeah, Does
- 39:15Speaker 1: that mean it's still breaking? Well, it's still it's still
- 39:18Speaker 1: I'll tell you what it is that you'll find out.
- 39:19Speaker 1: Can you play the music again cause it ruins it
- 39:21Speaker 1: if you're going to jump in, come on, this is
- 39:24Speaker 1: breaking news, sorry about it. The woman's toilets are overflowed
- 39:32Speaker 1: with feces just out of here, so you can't You
- 39:37Speaker 1: can't use them all right. There's a sign on the door.
- 39:41Speaker 1: It seace you can't use them, right, So just until
- 39:42Speaker 1: they get that sort of out, just let everyone know.
- 39:45Speaker 1: Thanks man. Here that's up here at insed Me building
- 39:48Speaker 1: in Auckland, the woman's toilet. I just want to code brown.
- 39:53Speaker 1: There's been a poon army and it's just in the
- 39:56Speaker 1: middle of getting cleaned up. Old pack sons out there
- 39:59Speaker 1: sweeping them up. There's job and he's sweeping them. But
- 40:01Speaker 1: that's random.
- 40:01Speaker 3: Can I can I just clarify something here? I think
- 40:05Speaker 3: you're confusing me with Keysy who does any his city
- 40:10Speaker 3: does this. Now he only does sit down wheeze, and
- 40:14Speaker 3: so he goes to the woman's toilet because it's there's
- 40:17Speaker 3: no urine.
- 40:17Speaker 1: Or you've added that.
- 40:20Speaker 4: He goes sit down with part of my sit down
- 40:23Speaker 4: wheeze practice is that I don't do that at work.
- 40:26Speaker 4: What I said was when I'm at home, eighty percent
- 40:28Speaker 4: of the time, I'll do sit down wheeze because it's chill,
- 40:30Speaker 4: because I'm chilling. But this has nothing to do with
- 40:33Speaker 4: me in my ways. This is Moggie's breaking news about.
- 40:36Speaker 3: I was just going to say say to Moggie, is
- 40:38Speaker 3: that he's confused the fact that I use the lady's
- 40:42Speaker 3: toilets with the fact.
- 40:43Speaker 1: That you do because because you're sniffing around there.
- 40:45Speaker 3: No, because because I don't do sit down wi right,
- 40:48Speaker 3: And so I was just saying, you do the sit
- 40:50Speaker 3: down wheeze and thus, yeah, okay, he was getting the
- 40:53Speaker 3: wrong person.
- 40:53Speaker 1: There's or is it a developing story. Well, you have
- 40:57Speaker 1: to talk to Pugs when he comes back, because he's
- 40:59Speaker 1: in the middle of shoveling the map, so he's sweeping it.
- 41:01Speaker 1: Now he's shoveling. He sweeps them into a shovel and
- 41:03Speaker 1: then you get them on a shovel and then you're
- 41:05Speaker 1: able to carry them out to the gatherer out the front.
- 41:07Speaker 1: Yeah right, I saw him with a wheelbarrow. Actually what
- 41:09Speaker 1: was that about? Oh?
- 41:10Speaker 3: I think they are to carry around his hog old
- 41:13Speaker 3: ship Mets Patson.
- 41:15Speaker 1: That's his nickname. Well, thanks for the breaking news, Mike,
- 41:18Speaker 1: that's great. What's on Telly next?
- 41:22Speaker 3: Is that? A good?
- 41:22Speaker 1: Still?
- 41:23Speaker 2: Hod Archy Big Show with Jason Hoyt, Mike Minogue and Kissy.
- 41:28Speaker 3: The Black Crows there on the radio. Hold Archie Big
- 41:30Speaker 3: Show this Wednesday evening. But right now it's time for
- 41:35Speaker 3: What's on the Telly with Mike Minogue. Yeah, ya ya
- 41:41Speaker 3: ya ya ya.
- 41:56Speaker 1: What even is this? People love it? Man, get.
- 42:02Speaker 3: One day you'll get it. You'll be lying in your
- 42:04Speaker 3: bed and you'll.
- 42:04Speaker 4: Go when I'm in I've lost my marbles in a
- 42:12Speaker 4: retirement village. Maybe it's in the front magie, bloody Aura,
- 42:17Speaker 4: is there any name?
- 42:19Speaker 1: I watched The Penguin. The Penguin, it's on Neon. I
- 42:24Speaker 1: watched episode five of the Penguin's five of eight. It's
- 42:29Speaker 1: not really connecting. I've gotta be honest. It is good,
- 42:33Speaker 1: but it's not really No, no, no, You'll keep watching
- 42:36Speaker 1: it because you've got to get to that fine finale finale.
- 42:40Speaker 1: But it's it's it's good, but it's just not there's
- 42:42Speaker 1: something that's just not quite near, you know what I mean.
- 42:44Speaker 1: Sure it's there. I mean it's no mistrum between Do
- 42:48Speaker 1: you put it that way? Seinfeld?
- 42:49Speaker 4: Does it still have that issue where it's sort of
- 42:51Speaker 4: like House of the Dragons where you don't actually like.
- 42:53Speaker 1: Any of the characters. I do like them, Yeah, I
- 42:58Speaker 1: mean it's it's fine, there's good. Now, there's some really good,
- 43:01Speaker 1: great characters in there. But I just, yeah, I know
- 43:03Speaker 1: something I can't quite put my finger on it. Kezy
- 43:06Speaker 1: what is it? That's Disney right, No, it's yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 43:10Speaker 3: I watched Camelot oh on Sky Movies.
- 43:14Speaker 1: Well, you're really making the most of Sky movies. Who
- 43:17Speaker 1: wasn't that one?
- 43:20Speaker 3: Peter O'tooles, John Gilge, all those old guys, And it
- 43:24Speaker 3: was a PG. It's PG. Normally I go pgenatus, not
- 43:27Speaker 3: bottle with it. But I kind of I kind of
- 43:31Speaker 3: like sometimes really old school kind of period films.
- 43:35Speaker 1: Nineteen sixty seven.
- 43:37Speaker 3: Yeah, you know, it was stupid, but I liked it.
- 43:41Speaker 3: It was very easy to watch.
- 43:42Speaker 1: Richard Harris has Peter o'to. Yeah, and it's a red
- 43:47Speaker 1: Grave yeah yeah, all your.
- 43:49Speaker 3: Classic old actors. It was cool and I love just
- 43:52Speaker 3: sort of watching the background actors and all the stupid
- 43:55Speaker 3: costumes and carry on. It was good.
- 43:58Speaker 1: Richard Harris, he plays Dumbledore and the first two Harry
- 44:00Speaker 1: Potter movies.
- 44:01Speaker 3: Oh wow, Yes, he's him young, he's good looking. Feller,
- 44:05Speaker 3: we're young. That's the past too, Harris did.
- 44:09Speaker 1: It's crazy that no one like Sky is still living.
- 44:11Speaker 4: You just have free Sky movies. They haven't even You
- 44:13Speaker 4: should actually call them. We should call them again.
- 44:16Speaker 1: We'll get them call on Friday and we'll get through
- 44:18Speaker 1: to them and we'll get your account and we'll sort
- 44:20Speaker 1: you out. We know, a dress is a dress, I
- 44:22Speaker 1: know's ad dress. Yeah, we should do that. We'll just
- 44:23Speaker 1: get it sort of out because I get it turned off.
- 44:25Speaker 4: We'll either get it turned off or just say, hey,
- 44:27Speaker 4: he's been getting it free for a month, so you
- 44:28Speaker 4: should probably invoice them.
- 44:31Speaker 1: Actually round around it out, honestly, you know.
- 44:36Speaker 4: Then I watched another episode of that show I was
- 44:39Speaker 4: talking about, where Alan Carr and his friend by a
- 44:42Speaker 4: mansion and dollar they buy a house and it's in Sicily,
- 44:47Speaker 4: in Sicily, a dollar. They brought two of them next
- 44:49Speaker 4: door to each other, so as you spent two year,
- 44:52Speaker 4: I know you knock out the walls making into one
- 44:54Speaker 4: because I can't small. However, it's become quite clear, which
- 44:57Speaker 4: was my theory, that they just have a guy who's
- 44:59Speaker 4: doing literally every thing, and they pop and film themselves
- 45:02Speaker 4: doing a few things.
- 45:02Speaker 1: For about an hour. Yeah, and then go and actually
- 45:05Speaker 1: see the country side. I think it would be doing it.
- 45:09Speaker 1: As I was reading the synopsis, I was like, that's
- 45:11Speaker 1: how I do it.
- 45:12Speaker 3: Yeah, make it look like it. That would make a
- 45:14Speaker 3: great big show TV show.
- 45:16Speaker 1: Us renovating a house. Yeah, should we do in Cicily
- 45:20Speaker 1: and Cecily? That's great? I like where you're going with
- 45:23Speaker 1: us in Sicily and so are we're back smoking and
- 45:26Speaker 1: drinking them?
- 45:27Speaker 3: Well, we'd have to be, wouldn't we go a few veenis?
- 45:30Speaker 3: I think Key is doing all the work and Kesey's
- 45:32Speaker 3: doing all that. Get your dad out of hours out.
- 45:36Speaker 4: Yeah, that's coolse on TV did plus, by the way,
- 45:40Speaker 4: the Hierarchy Big Show with Jason Hoyt, Mike Minogue and Kesey.
- 45:45Speaker 3: Indeed Kings of Ly on the air on the radio,
- 45:47Speaker 3: Hodarchy Big Show now Fellers One more Sleep and we're
- 45:49Speaker 3: doing our live show at the Hangar by tomorrow. And
- 45:52Speaker 3: I'm going to be honest with you, I'm a little
- 45:53Speaker 3: bit nervous about it because we've never done a show
- 45:55Speaker 3: out in West Auckland before, so we're not quite sure
- 45:58Speaker 3: of the reception we're going to get out up there.
- 46:00Speaker 1: I know what reception again, it's going to be one
- 46:02Speaker 1: of pure edulation and joy. They'll be stoked to see
- 46:05Speaker 1: the Fellows from the big show out there. Chase, you're saying,
- 46:08Speaker 1: I fear that people from out west are animals.
- 46:10Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, and that's why I love living out west,
- 46:12Speaker 3: because they are real backbones.
- 46:14Speaker 1: No, you weren't saying animals in like a good way.
- 46:16Speaker 1: It's like a real, real bad way, the worst.
- 46:19Speaker 3: Can you can you give me an example of how
- 46:21Speaker 3: I was saying it.
- 46:21Speaker 1: Well, to be honest, I was just with an airshot.
- 46:23Speaker 1: Mogi was the one. You just say, Oh my god, man, Honestly,
- 46:27Speaker 1: people who live out west, in the West of Auckland animals.
- 46:32Speaker 1: Oh yeah, I did say that, absolutely disgusting.
- 46:36Speaker 3: Did I say disgusting as well?
- 46:38Speaker 1: Did I?
