So the Panthers were a team that last year showed a lot of promise and towards the end of the season. And they came in hot. They've since cooled down. They went against two teams that gave up a gazillion points. Green Bay started off slow, but has picked up ever since they started throwing the ball all the way down the field. And then they just got back their lead back in Josh Jacobs. KW: Mm. DJ Chill aka JONBE: So looking at it from that aspect, one, who's the better team? And two, who you got winning tonight, even though it's already starting. KW: I lean Green Bay being the better team. I actually didn't really love Green Bay's roster at all going into the season without Josh Jacobs. and they didn't have a pass rush with Micah. as of tonight, I don't think the Packers are too much better than the Panthers, but I think they're getting better. I think the Panthers are actually like hitting the downside of their season. every one of their losses I think has been by twenty plus points. So if they lose, they lose DJ Chill aka JONBE: Siesh. KW: horribly. I actually picked the p the Packers to win by eleven. I think I picked it twenty five to fourteen. The Panthers about to punt here and then the Packers will get the ball back by the looks. So yeah, I I picked the Pant the Packers big tonight. They're at home too. Lambo's normally a a home field advantage for them. So Yeah. I got the Packers. And they lost at home to the Panthers last year. Panthers kinda punked them at Lambo last year. So I think this is a revenge game for the Packers. So yeah. I'm going pack. DJ Chill aka JONBE: I like it. So you go on the pat I am going to I'm gonna take the Packers. I think it's gonna be a low scoring game. I think it's gonna be seventeen to fourteen. And I I take them because I think they're gonna try to get Josh Jacobs. I think he has a big game. He'll probably score two touchdowns if they can get the because the Panthers aren't a scary defense. I do think the Panthers have a young team that's developing, but they're still developing. Bryce Young has finally got his quarterbacks coach, his head coach who can help guide him, him being a undersized quarterback and put him in positions where he can be off of his platform from behind the line. I like Kyla Murray, you know, all these other smaller Drew Brees, all these other smaller guys who who can't just hide behind the line 'cause they can't see over him. Talent is not Bryce Young's issue. I think it's just more so him putting the complete games together on a regular. He's very talented. You know, he didn't just you don't go to Alabama just because you're you're not talented. He he obviously has shown something. So I I take I think the better team right now is the Packers, but I don't think the Panthers are that far behind overall. Well w well when Michael Parson gets back, it might be a whole different KW: I agree. I agree. DJ Chill aka JONBE: spiel to that deal because that defense might go from bad to really good really quick. So how the Packers gonna win seventeen to fourteen and Carolina already has three. Make it twenty then. Packers but Packers and six. I like it. Call me out. I'm not afraid of it. KW: They could they could find their way to fourteen, right? If there's a safety in there, they can still get fourteen. I don't know. I don't know. I'd have to do the math real quick, but I see what he's saying. Yeah.
