- 2:43Speaker 4: So just hang out with me, man. Just chill out
- 2:46Speaker 4: with me. We'll get to a whole bunch of different topics.
- 2:50Speaker 4: I am going to cover something that I've covered on
- 2:53Speaker 4: my own morning show. There are some things going on
- 2:56Speaker 4: in this country that you would say are good, right?
- 2:59Speaker 4: There are some things I look at. that there's the
- 3:02Speaker 4: changing of the guard, if you will, with Trump being president,
- 3:05Speaker 4: has turned for the better. But this is more of
- 3:09Speaker 4: a general opening monologue talking about some of the, I
- 3:17Speaker 4: would say, some of the planned catastrophic events that the
- 3:22Speaker 4: left has put into motion. And you'll understand by the
- 3:26Speaker 4: time I'm all said and done. So sons and daughters, please.
- 3:30Speaker 4: Gather around the radio and stand with me as we
- 3:35Speaker 4: face the storm that threatens the very soul of the
- 3:40Speaker 4: United States of America. From the amber waves of grain
- 3:44Speaker 4: to the purple mountains, our land of the free has
- 3:47Speaker 4: been battered, bruised, and betrayed. There are traitors in the midst,
- 3:53Speaker 4: ladies and gentlemen.
- 3:55Speaker 3: Now, we're the inheritors of Lincoln.
- 3:58Speaker 4: And Washington, and Reagan, and that unbreakable spirit that forged
- 4:05Speaker 4: the mightiest nation on earth. Yet, I speak to you
- 4:11Speaker 4: from the heart of that spirit. I speak to you
- 4:15Speaker 4: as the forces around us want to tear this great
- 4:21Speaker 4: American experiment down. That's right. They want To impose an apocalypse.
- 4:28Speaker 4: And that apocalypse is slowly unfolding before your eyes. Look around.
- 4:34Speaker 4: Look around you.
- 4:36Speaker 3: Daily.
- 4:38Speaker 4: And on a scale of despair. Where one is okay
- 4:42Speaker 4: and ten is that utter catastrophe. Not a single pillar
- 4:49Speaker 4: of our republic stands below a six. Let me explain.
- 4:55Speaker 3: Health care.
- 4:56Speaker 4: We'll start with that. Everywhere you look, everybody's talking about it.
- 5:02Speaker 4: Healthcare is a disaster, strangling us, the endless demands on
- 5:09Speaker 4: our emergency rooms and hospitals where hardworking Americans wait in
- 5:14Speaker 4: line behind those who cross borders uninvited. This explosion, which
- 5:18Speaker 4: has happened over the last decade of illegals coming into
- 5:23Speaker 4: the These hospitals, overwhelming them, has put the health care
- 5:28Speaker 4: situation at a nine as far as catastrophe goes. That,
- 5:33Speaker 4: along with Obamacare and all that is around that, has
- 5:38Speaker 4: essentially destroyed our health care system. Yes, we're still the greatest.
- 5:42Speaker 4: We have the greatest doctors, et cetera, nurses on the planet.
- 5:45Speaker 4: But it just costs too much. And it's wearing us out.
- 5:49Speaker 4: That's a nine on the catastrophe, catastrophe scale.
- 5:53Speaker 3: Education.
- 5:55Speaker 4: Education teetering at an eight.
- 5:56Speaker 3: Our schools are overwhelmed.
- 5:58Speaker 4: Classrooms bloated with students who in some cases don't even
- 6:02Speaker 4: share the same language or the same love of liberty.
- 6:06Speaker 4: And they dilute this promise of equal opportunity. That's diluting
- 6:11Speaker 4: the promise of equal opportunity for your kids. So I
- 6:14Speaker 4: put education at an eight on the catastrophe scale. Here's
- 6:19Speaker 4: one that you'll all agree with me on. There's no
- 6:21Speaker 4: way you can't say national debt is not at a 10.
- 6:24Speaker 3: Ballooning, 37 trillion.
- 6:28Speaker 4: It's a millstone around the necks of your grandkids. Listen,
- 6:35Speaker 4: this is going to weigh them down for generations to come.
- 6:42Speaker 4: How can we possibly continue to fund anything productive when
- 6:47Speaker 4: we're paying over a trillion dollars a year in debt
- 6:50Speaker 4: to service alone? National security. It's a nine. Why is
- 6:58Speaker 4: it a nine? Trump is doing a much better job,
- 7:00Speaker 4: but our enemies are emboldened as we chase phantoms abroad
- 7:07Speaker 4: while chaos reigns here. There is still chaos in the
- 7:10Speaker 4: streets of the United States. That is a problem with
- 7:13Speaker 4: national security. I keep going back to the immigration issue.
- 7:17Speaker 4: Fifteen million people came across the border, unvetted, unchecked. We
- 7:21Speaker 4: have no idea where they are. No idea what they're doing.
- 7:25Speaker 4: So that's a nine for me. International security. Well, at
- 7:30Speaker 4: least Trump is trying to negotiate deals. So that's not
- 7:32Speaker 4: at total catastrophe level, but our international security is still
- 7:37Speaker 4: at a seven, eroded by weak previous administrations and a
- 7:44Speaker 4: lackluster approach to national security. Social security. Well, it's rated
- 7:48Speaker 4: every time you turn around. Social security is.
- 7:50Speaker 3: At an eight.
- 7:51Speaker 4: Anybody who is in my age demographic where social security
- 7:54Speaker 4: is less than a decade away. Are you nervous?
- 7:58Speaker 3: Are you nervous that yours is going to be there?
- 8:00Speaker 4: I know they've been saying this forever and ever and ever,
- 8:03Speaker 4: but somewhere along the line, the golden goose runs out
- 8:06Speaker 4: and they've been taking from it over and over and
- 8:08Speaker 4: over again. So social security on a scale of one
- 8:11Speaker 4: to 10 for catastrophe, I'll put it at a seven.
- 8:13Speaker 4: How about that?
- 8:15Speaker 3: How about wages versus the real cost of living? Easy
- 8:20Speaker 3: a nine. A brutal nine. Your paycheck is stretched thin.
- 8:26Speaker 4: Every job, every loaf of bread, everything you buy, that
- 8:30Speaker 4: cramped apartment you got to live in, the shadows that
- 8:33Speaker 4: basically are disappearing, the money that is just filtering out
- 8:38Speaker 4: of your pockets.
- 8:40Speaker 3: Is scary.
- 8:42Speaker 4: And every single one of us right now, no matter
- 8:44Speaker 4: what Trump is doing, and as far as the economy goes,
- 8:48Speaker 4: I do think he's doing amazingly positive things. But still
- 8:52Speaker 4: at the end of the week, I'm struggling. I'm struggling.
- 8:56Speaker 4: And so are you. So are most of you when
- 8:58Speaker 4: it comes to paying your bills. Energy independence. Trump is
- 9:03Speaker 4: trying to fix that. But during Biden, it was a nine.
- 9:05Speaker 4: Now I give it a seven. Hopefully we can move that.
- 9:07Speaker 4: Trade deficits are still a seven-ish in that seven-ish range. Again,
- 9:13Speaker 4: we have to improve on that. That was gutted by
- 9:16Speaker 4: previous administrations. Personal debt. Personal debt is a 10. We
- 9:22Speaker 4: have more credit card debt per person in this country
- 9:24Speaker 4: than we've ever had, more credit card debt overall than
- 9:27Speaker 4: we've ever had. How do you fix that? Well, that's
- 9:30Speaker 4: because people are struggling week to week to pay bills.
- 9:34Speaker 4: So they're putting on the credit card. So even though, again,
- 9:38Speaker 4: things look like they are brighter because of past actions
- 9:44Speaker 4: by past leaders and some of these states, which are
- 9:46Speaker 4: completely essentially communists, It's causing a shake in the foundation
- 9:52Speaker 4: of this country. And every single one of these items
- 9:55Speaker 4: that I'm bringing up, there's a problem with all of them.
- 9:58Speaker 4: Taxes are too high. It's just too high. Now, some
- 10:01Speaker 4: states are better than others. Where I am in Connecticut,
- 10:03Speaker 4: it's a catastrophe. People who are listening tonight in California
- 10:06Speaker 4: know it's a catastrophe.
- 10:07Speaker 3: It's awful.
- 10:09Speaker 4: Later on today, we'll have, again, a law enforcement person.
- 10:12Speaker 4: Crime is next. I say it's a nine. People are
- 10:15Speaker 4: trying to say, oh, well, crime is going down in
- 10:17Speaker 4: the wrong direction. It's because we don't have enough law
- 10:18Speaker 4: enforcement people out there to catch these people. And you're
- 10:21Speaker 4: not getting as many reported crimes that are out there.
- 10:24Speaker 4: And the violent crimes are still spiking. So crime is
- 10:26Speaker 4: still up there. And the idea of this American dream,
- 10:29Speaker 4: the affordability itself, it's a heartbreaking 10. I'm sorry. But
- 10:36Speaker 4: people out here are having a problem chasing that American
- 10:40Speaker 4: dream because the ultra-rich have.
- 10:44Speaker 4: The overwhelming bulk of their resources and the people who
- 10:48Speaker 4: aren't the ultra rich are struggling.
- 10:52Speaker 3: But it's time. You can stop this.
- 10:55Speaker 4: We can stop it. Be the lion that roared back.
- 10:58Speaker 3: Put America first.
- 11:00Speaker 4: All of you, every single person listening to me, whether
- 11:03Speaker 4: you're a welder in Ohio or a waitress in Texas,
- 11:06Speaker 4: we can change this around.
- 11:07Speaker 3: We're starting to do it.
- 11:08Speaker 4: I just wanted to point out in this opening that
- 11:11Speaker 4: That despite all the things that may seemingly feel like
- 11:13Speaker 4: they're going in the right direction, we are still at
- 11:17Speaker 4: the bottom of this mountain trying to climb it. And
- 11:19Speaker 4: it is not going to be an easy climb because
- 11:21Speaker 4: of things that have happened in the past. It's essentially
- 11:24Speaker 4: almost a disaster. So, again, just a quick thing that
- 11:28Speaker 4: I wanted to point out as we open up, not
- 11:30Speaker 4: trying to be Debbie Downer.
- 11:32Speaker 3: But we got to do better. And as Americans, I
- 11:35Speaker 3: know we can do better. My name is Lee Elsie.
- 11:37Speaker 3: I am the voice of freedom. We'll take a short break.
- 11:40Speaker 3: We'll come back. Don't go anywhere.

- 14:54Speaker 4: All right, welcome back. So fun to fill in for
- 14:58Speaker 4: the great Wayne Allen Root. And Wayne will be back
- 15:01Speaker 4: again tomorrow night. It's the War Zone. Once again, you
- 15:03Speaker 4: can watch at thegatewaypundit.com, patriot.tv. And you can see yours truly.
- 15:09Speaker 4: And my funky-looking tie that I'm wearing. It's got a
- 15:12Speaker 4: bunch of pandas on it. I'm an animal fan. I
- 15:17Speaker 4: think I adopted a turkey. I'm serious about that. Like,
- 15:20Speaker 4: I live in the middle of nowhere. In a good way. And,
- 15:24Speaker 4: you know, I got squirrels, I get raccoons, I get possums,
- 15:26Speaker 4: but then there's this one lone turkey coming to my,
- 15:29Speaker 4: literally to my back door every single day. So I've
- 15:32Speaker 4: been feeding him turkey stuff. I don't know what turkeys eat,
- 15:34Speaker 4: but whatever I'm throwing out there.
- 15:36Speaker 3: He's eating.
- 15:37Speaker 4: Anyway, this turkey is robust in fat, so he is
- 15:40Speaker 4: not on Energized Health for sure. So this segment of
- 15:44Speaker 4: the show is sponsored by Energized Health. You've heard Wayne
- 15:47Speaker 4: Allen Root talk about how Energized Health changed his life.
- 15:50Speaker 4: He lost 25 pounds of fat, including the dangerous inner
- 15:54Speaker 4: body visceral fat. He gained 10 pounds of muscle and
- 15:58Speaker 4: that inner cellular hydration in only 88 days. Now, over
- 16:01Speaker 4: four years later, He says he feels the best he
- 16:04Speaker 4: has in his entire life, and he gives the credit
- 16:06Speaker 4: to me. No, he gives the credit to Energized Health.
- 16:09Speaker 4: Energized Health is not a traditional weight loss program. The
- 16:13Speaker 4: program is simple, easy, healthy, all based on a foundation
- 16:17Speaker 4: of the life game changers, extra and intercellular hydration.
- 16:22Speaker 3: Here's your chance to.
- 16:23Speaker 4: Be like Wayne.
- 16:24Speaker 3: Be like Wayne.
- 16:26Speaker 4: Energized Health can change your life and supercharge your health forever.
- 16:29Speaker 3: Just like it.
- 16:30Speaker 4: Did for Wayne Allen Root. Right now, Energized Health is
- 16:33Speaker 4: offering the WAR 40% off action discount. 40% off. Just
- 16:37Speaker 4: say WAR.
- 16:38Speaker 3: Go to EnergizedHealth.com. That is EnergizedHealth.com. All right.
- 16:45Speaker 4: We only have a couple minutes before I got to
- 16:46Speaker 4: get to the bottom. And Betsy McCoy will join me
- 16:48Speaker 4: right after the bottom. Looking forward to that conversation. We
- 16:52Speaker 4: got to talk about New York City. We got to
- 16:54Speaker 4: see what her take is on that. Mondami will talk
- 16:57Speaker 4: a little bit about Connecticut. And there is an issue
- 16:59Speaker 4: in Connecticut about housing that I want to talk to
- 17:02Speaker 4: her about, too, when we come back. But I had
- 17:05Speaker 4: mentioned illegal immigration at the onset.
- 17:08Speaker 3: Of the show tonight.
- 17:09Speaker 4: And the Trump administration delivers six straight months of zero
- 17:15Speaker 4: releases at the border.
- 17:16Speaker 3: So without without in my life, I've been doing this.
- 17:20Speaker 4: For a long time.
- 17:21Speaker 3: I have never seen the border shut down.
- 17:25Speaker 4: As spectacularly as it has been shut down with Donald Trump. Now,
- 17:30Speaker 4: that doesn't mean we don't want immigrants, guys. That's not
- 17:33Speaker 4: what I'm talking about. That's not the deal, right? The
- 17:37Speaker 4: deal is that we don't want illegal immigrants. We don't
- 17:42Speaker 4: want dangers to the community or society. We don't want
- 17:45Speaker 4: gangbangers and thugs. We want people who are going to
- 17:48Speaker 4: be productive. By the way, we want people who love
- 17:50Speaker 4: the country. We want people who are coming here who
- 17:54Speaker 4: are all about the red, white, and blue, not trying
- 17:57Speaker 4: to bring from their country, whatever cesspool that they're leaving.
- 18:03Speaker 4: We don't want them bringing that here. So assimilation is
- 18:07Speaker 4: huge in my mind. Anyway, the border enforcement is at
- 18:10Speaker 4: historic low levels, 30,573 total encounters nationwide. This was Through 11, 13,
- 18:17Speaker 4: this is, it's a month. It's the October crossings. And
- 18:23Speaker 4: it's 92% below the peak during the Biden administration, which
- 18:28Speaker 4: was 370,000 encounters.
- 18:32Speaker 3: Now, we know there was a lot more than that. Okay,
- 18:35Speaker 3: these are the encounters.
- 18:37Speaker 4: These are the ones that they see, right? So now
- 18:39Speaker 4: people are realizing, well, you know, I'm not even going
- 18:42Speaker 4: to try it because I know I can't get in.
- 18:45Speaker 4: Seven thousand nine hundred and eighty nine border apprehensions on
- 18:48Speaker 4: the southwest border, which is lower than at any time
- 18:51Speaker 4: during the Biden administration.
- 18:52Speaker 1: Why?
- 18:53Speaker 4: Because they're not trying to come across the border. Clearly,
- 18:57Speaker 4: there's a huge difference in the in the mental mindscape
- 19:01Speaker 4: and mind, you know, what they're thinking about when they're
- 19:04Speaker 4: coming here or wanting to come here. It's a whole
- 19:06Speaker 4: different ballgame. By the way, I read almost daily from
- 19:10Speaker 4: this list. of arrests at the Southern border, right? The
- 19:14Speaker 4: U S customs and border protection arrests at the Southern border.
- 19:18Speaker 4: And they're doing a magnificent job guys. And almost every day,
- 19:23Speaker 4: like they're stopping guns. They're stopping ammunition from coming in.
- 19:26Speaker 4: They're stopping fentanyl from coming in. And what Trump's doing
- 19:29Speaker 4: with these boats, blowing these guys to smithereens.
- 19:32Speaker 3: I mean, it is, it's awesome.
- 19:35Speaker 4: I'm sorry, but these are your kids that are being saved.
- 19:38Speaker 4: That's what he's doing. Like him, hate him, whatever. I
- 19:41Speaker 4: have my disagreements with Trump. I disagree with some of
- 19:43Speaker 4: the things he does all the time, right? It gets
- 19:45Speaker 4: contentious with even some of my listeners. But I'll tell you,
- 19:48Speaker 4: the border, home run. grand slam, home run.
- 19:51Speaker 3: Keep doing it.
- 19:53Speaker 2: Right?
- 19:53Speaker 4: Keep enforcing the laws of the border. Stop the drugs
- 19:56Speaker 4: from coming in. Stop and find some of these kids
- 19:59Speaker 4: that have been trafficked. God, that alone, as I said
- 20:02Speaker 4: a million times, that alone is worthwhile what he's doing.
- 20:06Speaker 4: I mean, that makes his presidency so far a home
- 20:09Speaker 4: run again. I mean, he's stopping what's happening, the sex
- 20:13Speaker 4: trade at the bar. It's just magnificent.
- 20:15Speaker 3: So anyway, that's what we get. We're going back. Don't
- 20:18Speaker 3: go anywhere. She was the former lieutenant governor of New York.
- 20:20Speaker 4: She works for Newsmax. We will chat with Betsy McCoy
- 20:24Speaker 4: after the bottom of the hour. Please don't go anywhere.
- 20:26Speaker 4: Keep it right here.

- 22:00Speaker 3: My name is Lee Elsie.
- 22:01Speaker 4: I am the voice of freedom. Welcome aboard Wayne Allen Road.
- 22:04Speaker 4: He'll be back tomorrow night, so don't you guys panic.
- 22:07Speaker 4: Of course, the show is called War Zone. You can
- 22:09Speaker 4: watch it right now at thegatewaypundit.com, patriot.tv. You can go
- 22:13Speaker 4: to Root for America. You can go to, again, all
- 22:17Speaker 4: of Wayne's sites will have it, but Root for America
- 22:19Speaker 4: will have that for sure. By the way, all the
- 22:20Speaker 4: great radio stations from coast to coast have us on,
- 22:23Speaker 4: whether it's in Long Island, all the way out to California,
- 22:26Speaker 4: anywhere in between. So, A super very special guest joining
- 22:29Speaker 4: us right now. So former lieutenant governor, Newsmax superstar, Betsy
- 22:34Speaker 4: McCoy is joining us. So I want to just thank
- 22:36Speaker 4: you so much for coming on. I mean, we were
- 22:39Speaker 4: so thrilled to get you on the morning show. And
- 22:40Speaker 4: I was so happy that you agreed to come on
- 22:43Speaker 4: with me here on the Wayne show.
- 22:45Speaker 3: But good evening.
- 22:46Speaker 4: How are you today? I'm great.
- 22:48Speaker 5: And, you know, I so enjoyed your morning show. I
- 22:51Speaker 5: would love to do it often. First of all, it's
- 22:54Speaker 5: a public service. People who listen to it learn so
- 22:57Speaker 5: much about what's going on in Connecticut and nationally. And
- 23:01Speaker 5: you just have that real flair. It's a great way
- 23:04Speaker 5: to start the day.
- 23:05Speaker 4: Well, thank you so much. That's so nice of you.
- 23:07Speaker 4: And I'd love to have you on. We'll get you
- 23:08Speaker 4: on all the time. And we have so many different
- 23:11Speaker 4: things to talk about. Before we get to the issues, though,
- 23:13Speaker 4: you got to tell me about Newsmax a little bit.
- 23:15Speaker 4: I mean— And it's just an exploding network. I mean,
- 23:18Speaker 4: I know there was a public offering. We had Ruddy
- 23:21Speaker 4: on a couple of times to talk about it.
- 23:23Speaker 3: But here you are. You got your own show on
- 23:25Speaker 3: Sunday mornings.
- 23:26Speaker 4: Tell everybody about that.
- 23:28Speaker 5: I like Sunday mornings. Everybody's ready to have a cup
- 23:31Speaker 5: of coffee, kick their feet up a little, and look
- 23:35Speaker 5: back at the week. And that's what we do. It's
- 23:37Speaker 5: not all old news. Some of it's very new. But
- 23:40Speaker 5: we have great guests. We do a lot of foreign policy.
- 23:43Speaker 5: But then I remind the producers, no, we've got to
- 23:45Speaker 5: stick to really what's in people's neighborhoods, on people's minds.
- 23:50Speaker 5: So you'll like the show. Come on sometime as a guest.
- 23:54Speaker 5: I'd love to have you.
- 23:55Speaker 3: I would love it.
- 23:55Speaker 4: I'm going to take you up on that. I would
- 23:57Speaker 4: love to do that for sure one Sunday. Now, you
- 23:59Speaker 4: do that from home or you go to New York
- 24:01Speaker 4: every day? Oh, no.
- 24:01Speaker 5: We have a great studio. And I love going into
- 24:04Speaker 5: the studio because I get to work with all the
- 24:07Speaker 5: other people. It's a great team. And I get to
- 24:11Speaker 5: see all the guests who are coming on for all
- 24:12Speaker 5: the morning shows. I learn a lot sitting in the
- 24:15Speaker 5: green room.
- 24:16Speaker 3: That's great. That's awesome.
- 24:17Speaker 4: Well, listen, we thank you for coming on tonight with
- 24:19Speaker 4: so much to get to. I want to jump into
- 24:22Speaker 4: what's happening here in Connecticut. Now, I know there are
- 24:24Speaker 4: people listening all across the country, but, I mean, this
- 24:26Speaker 4: is coming to a state near you in particular if
- 24:28Speaker 4: you're in a blue state. But there's a housing bill
- 24:31Speaker 4: in the state of Connecticut, and I think I'll let
- 24:34Speaker 4: you explain it because it— It's got catastrophic ramifications to it, correct?
- 24:38Speaker 5: Catastrophic. But you started out— you put your finger, as you
- 24:41Speaker 5: usually do, on the right thing. The Democratic Party is
- 24:46Speaker 5: lurching leftward at warp speed. It's accelerating. And Connecticut is
- 24:51Speaker 5: just the next victim. And what happened last week deserves
- 24:56Speaker 5: looking at, because it is coming to your state soon.
- 24:59Speaker 5: What happened here is— The supermajority, Democratic supermajority in the
- 25:04Speaker 5: state legislature rammed through a bill at 1 o'clock in
- 25:08Speaker 5: the morning— no Republican votes, no public hearings— that will literally change
- 25:13Speaker 5: every one of the 169 beautiful towns in Connecticut. Leafy
- 25:18Speaker 5: little rural towns, beautiful tony suburbs in Fairfield County, seacoast
- 25:24Speaker 5: towns east of New Haven. Connecticut has 169 towns, and
- 25:30Speaker 5: up to this point, each one had a unique character,
- 25:33Speaker 5: a unique look, and they were all governed by their
- 25:36Speaker 5: local town moms and dads, local zoning, local decision-making, But
- 25:43Speaker 5: the Democrats ran through a bill under the, I would say, cynical,
- 25:48Speaker 5: deceptive guise of it being a housing bill. It's really
- 25:53Speaker 5: not about housing, Lee. This bill is about what— and the
- 25:58Speaker 5: term is used several times in the bill— economic diversity. This
- 26:04Speaker 5: is socialism, right? The bill's message is— If you live
- 26:10Speaker 5: in a beautiful leafy suburb and you worked your butt
- 26:12Speaker 5: off your whole life to be able to afford to
- 26:15Speaker 5: buy a single family home on a quiet street in
- 26:19Speaker 5: a town like that, you can't have that unless everybody
- 26:24Speaker 5: can have that, including people who have very low incomes
- 26:29Speaker 5: and even the homeless. So the bill gives the state
- 26:33Speaker 5: the power to dictate exactly who can live in each town.
- 26:39Speaker 5: And what they do is they set quotas. Each town
- 26:42Speaker 5: must have a specific percentage of people whose income is
- 26:48Speaker 5: 30% of the median income in the state. Then another
- 26:53Speaker 5: group who have 50% of the median income in the state,
- 26:56Speaker 5: the state will dictate how many of those people live
- 26:59Speaker 5: in your town. Every town will have the same socioeconomic profile.
- 27:06Speaker 5: And to accomplish that, each town has to build apartment buildings, quote,
- 27:13Speaker 5: affordable housing, apartment buildings where the apartment units will have
- 27:18Speaker 5: a specific rent attached to them, not a free market rent.
- 27:22Speaker 5: The landlord will have to accept an amount that the
- 27:24Speaker 5: state dictates, right? So that's the way they'll bring in
- 27:28Speaker 5: these different economic categories. And local zoning, out the window.
- 27:35Speaker 5: there's going to be very little parking. Under 16 units,
- 27:40Speaker 5: no parking provided at all. So, suddenly, these lovely narrow
- 27:44Speaker 5: streets will be lined on both sides with cars that
- 27:47Speaker 5: will look like Yonkers or the Bronx.
- 27:51Speaker 4: You spell it out perfectly. What you just explained was
- 27:53Speaker 4: perfectly done. I mean, we have been talking about this
- 27:55Speaker 4: all day today and a little bit last week, but
- 27:58Speaker 4: you just spelled it out perfectly, and you're right about
- 28:00Speaker 4: the parking side effect, which will be horrendous to some
- 28:04Speaker 4: of these small towns. Now, also, you know, some of
- 28:07Speaker 4: these tiny towns don't have sewer. They don't have any wood.
- 28:12Speaker 4: So now you're going to have to ask the taxpayers
- 28:15Speaker 4: in these tiny towns to foot the bill to pay
- 28:18Speaker 4: for— this is incredible, right?
- 28:20Speaker 5: And that's right. Suddenly, these towns, which are already weighed
- 28:24Speaker 5: down with very high property taxes, it's a major barrier
- 28:27Speaker 5: to— buying a single-family home, not just the cost of
- 28:31Speaker 5: the home, but the property taxes you have to pay
- 28:33Speaker 5: every year. So the property taxes are going to go
- 28:37Speaker 5: way up because these little towns that don't have apartment
- 28:39Speaker 5: buildings right now will have to have sewers, water lines,
- 28:43Speaker 5: bus lines, because many people won't own a car, right?
- 28:47Speaker 5: And all of that will be paid for by local
- 28:50Speaker 5: property taxes. Here's another part of the bill that's a
- 28:53Speaker 5: real shocker. Every town must welcome, put out a welcome
- 28:58Speaker 5: mat for the homeless, for vagrants. Now, you know the
- 29:02Speaker 5: Supreme Court ruled two years ago in Brant's past that
- 29:05Speaker 5: towns actually were entitled to prohibit people from camping and
- 29:10Speaker 5: sleeping in public parks and on the sidewalk, setting up tents,
- 29:14Speaker 5: et cetera. But this— Now, Connecticut is saying, oh, we're
- 29:19Speaker 5: going to forbid towns from outlawing that. You have to
- 29:23Speaker 5: welcome them. And listen, you'll get the kick out of
- 29:26Speaker 5: this one. The bill outlaws what they call hostile architecture.
- 29:30Speaker 5: I bet you've never heard that term before. Hostile architecture
- 29:34Speaker 5: is a park bench with a divider in the middle
- 29:36Speaker 5: or armrests. So a homeless person can't sleep overnight on it.
- 29:41Speaker 5: You can't do that anymore. As of January 1st, those
- 29:44Speaker 5: park benches will be against the law, believe.
- 29:46Speaker 4: It or not.
- 29:47Speaker 5: And they're going to roll up trucks with showers and
- 29:52Speaker 5: laundry facilities and park them next to the park so
- 29:55Speaker 5: that the vagrants can come out and take a shower
- 29:58Speaker 5: or wash their clothes. I'm saying to myself, you know,
- 30:02Speaker 5: I let my grandkids go into town, I give them
- 30:05Speaker 5: a little pocket money, and I tell them they can
- 30:07Speaker 5: walk around town by themselves. It's like a rite of passage.
- 30:10Speaker 5: I'm not going to be able to do that when
- 30:11Speaker 5: there are vagrants sleeping in the park because, I mean,
- 30:16Speaker 5: to be kind, they bring mental illness, they bring drug addiction,
- 30:21Speaker 5: they bring crime. You know, you find syringes on the ground,
- 30:27Speaker 5: human waste. It's... those parks are not going to be
- 30:31Speaker 5: usable by kids anymore.
- 30:33Speaker 1: Right.
- 30:33Speaker 4: I couldn't agree with you more. Betsy McCoy is our
- 30:35Speaker 4: guest Newsmax host. She's also a former lieutenant governor in
- 30:40Speaker 4: New York. And before we, you know, get to some
- 30:44Speaker 4: of the other things she may be doing. I mean,
- 30:46Speaker 4: there's some rumors going on, but I'll let her tell
- 30:47Speaker 4: you about that.
- 30:48Speaker 3: We'll do that a little bit later on.
- 30:49Speaker 4: But, you know, you made a couple of also great
- 30:51Speaker 4: points about people who move to these, let's say, bedroom communities,
- 30:56Speaker 4: suburban places.
- 30:57Speaker 5: I'm having a little trouble hearing you, so speak up
- 30:59Speaker 5: a little. I've turned my computer all the way up.
- 31:02Speaker 5: I can't make it any louder.
- 31:03Speaker 4: Okay. I'm sorry about that. Hopefully this is better. I'll
- 31:06Speaker 4: turn my mic up as loud as we can go.
- 31:07Speaker 2: That's great.
- 31:08Speaker 5: Turn your mic up.
- 31:10Speaker 4: I just think that people leave these places to go
- 31:13Speaker 4: out and build a life in a suburbia and they
- 31:16Speaker 4: are taking that away from these folks, which it's hard
- 31:20Speaker 4: to me. It's against everything that the United States of
- 31:23Speaker 4: America stands for. That's right.
- 31:25Speaker 5: It's against your property rights. It destroys your sense of autonomy,
- 31:30Speaker 5: your ability to work hard and provide for your family. And,
- 31:33Speaker 5: you know, Obama tried this. He had a federal program
- 31:36Speaker 5: called Affirmatively Fairer Housing, which was going to force towns— it
- 31:42Speaker 5: had nothing to do with race, because— I mean, racial
- 31:44Speaker 5: discrimination is an abhorrent thing. I would never condone that.
- 31:48Speaker 5: But this has nothing to do with race. This is
- 31:50Speaker 5: economic integration. This is economic diversity. This is saying people
- 31:56Speaker 5: who don't work hard and have things yet can have
- 31:59Speaker 5: exactly what you have. You can't have it unless everybody
- 32:03Speaker 5: can have it. That's the message.
- 32:05Speaker 4: That's another thing you're putting on the back of the
- 32:07Speaker 4: American taxpayer. And here in Connecticut, it's just too much.
- 32:10Speaker 4: It's just overwhelming. Betsy McCoy, our guest, Newsmax host. And,
- 32:15Speaker 4: you know, there are some people, I think, that I
- 32:17Speaker 4: hear that hear you, that see you. And we know
- 32:21Speaker 4: what the state of the state is. We know what
- 32:23Speaker 4: our governor has done. We know what our legislature has done.
- 32:26Speaker 4: I mean, is there any chance that you might run?
- 32:28Speaker 3: I mean, we got 60 seconds and we can get
- 32:30Speaker 3: you to come back.
- 32:31Speaker 5: Well, I can tell you this. I grew up in Connecticut.
- 32:35Speaker 5: I love Connecticut. To see these towns assaulted like this
- 32:40Speaker 5: over my dead body. That's my answer.
- 32:43Speaker 1: All right.
- 32:44Speaker 3: Can you come back with me for another segment?
- 32:46Speaker 4: Do you mind?
- 32:47Speaker 5: Love to do that.
- 32:48Speaker 1: All right.
- 32:48Speaker 4: I want to talk.
- 32:49Speaker 3: Mondami when we come back. I want to talk New York.
- 32:51Speaker 3: You know all there is to know about New York.
- 32:54Speaker 4: And I got to get to this idea of socialism
- 32:57Speaker 4: slash communism.
- 32:58Speaker 3: And the biggest.
- 33:00Speaker 4: best city that America has to offer. And here we go,
- 33:03Speaker 4: this unbelievable experiment where Mondami's going to turn it into
- 33:07Speaker 4: a socialist state. We'll come back with that. Please don't
- 33:09Speaker 4: go anywhere. You are listening and watching The War Zone.
- 33:13Speaker 1: And don't go anywhere.
- 33:14Speaker 3: We'll come right back.
- 33:14Speaker 4: Stick around, everybody.
- 33:32Speaker 3: All right, a special treat for you.
- 33:33Speaker 6: I want to introduce you to a real hero of
- 33:35Speaker 6: the American energy industry, a legend, Mark Bruner, founder and
- 33:39Speaker 6: CEO of Lost Soldier Oil and Gas in the United States.
- 33:43Speaker 6: Lost Soldier is the last major BCGA, Basin Centered Oil
- 33:48Speaker 6: and Gas.
- 33:48Speaker 3: Gas accumulation.
- 33:50Speaker 6: This is code for a monster field where gas or
- 33:53Speaker 6: oil is in a basin, which makes the drilling and
- 33:56Speaker 6: production much easier. Mark, you're a legend in the oil
- 34:00Speaker 6: industry and the gas industry.
- 34:01Speaker 2: Tell us about your track record.
- 34:03Speaker 7: Well, I'm a second-generation oil and gas guy. My father,
- 34:07Speaker 7: in the early 1950s, started a company called Techstar. It
- 34:10Speaker 7: later became Texas Oil and Gas. When it sold out
- 34:13Speaker 7: to U.S. Steel, it was the largest independent in the world.
- 34:16Speaker 7: Delhi Pipelines was the largest gas distribution system in the
- 34:20Speaker 7: United States. when it sold out to U.S.
- 34:23Speaker 1: Steel.
- 34:23Speaker 7: I worked with him for four years. I've been in
- 34:25Speaker 7: the oil and gas business ever since. You would probably
- 34:28Speaker 7: know me better as the chairman of Ultra Petroleum. And
- 34:33Speaker 7: Ultra had a pretty good track record, which you're very
- 34:36Speaker 7: familiar with, I think.
- 34:37Speaker 6: Well, I think a $ 10, 000 investor in Ultra turned it
- 34:41Speaker 6: into $ 13 million.
- 34:42Speaker 2: Is that correct? In the nine-year run of your.
- 34:45Speaker 3: Publicly traded company.
- 34:46Speaker 7: Yeah, at the high, that's true.
- 34:49Speaker 6: $ 10, 000 turned into $ 13 million. That means $ 100, 000 turned into
- 34:52Speaker 6: $ 130 million.
- 34:53Speaker 2: That's an incredible track record.
- 34:55Speaker 6: Now tell me why this deal, Lost Soldier, this project
- 34:59Speaker 6: is so important. I hear about projects and deals all
- 35:02Speaker 6: the time. What makes this one special, Mark?
- 35:06Speaker 7: What's special about this is all the other basins in
- 35:08Speaker 7: the United States have been drilled. We've known for 50
- 35:11Speaker 7: years what they are. This one could not be drilled
- 35:13Speaker 7: because there was a uranium mine out here. Until it
- 35:16Speaker 7: was reclamated three years ago, no one could drill it.
- 35:20Speaker 7: This is surrounded by large oil and gas fields with
- 35:23Speaker 7: billions of dollars of infrastructure that at this point is
- 35:26Speaker 7: 85% empty. So we made this discovery. We are the
- 35:30Speaker 7: only operator in this field. And right now we can
- 35:34Speaker 7: see that we've got enough room for 500 horizontal wells
- 35:37Speaker 7: out here with what we've drilled so far. Very exciting.
- 35:41Speaker 7: It's the new basin in the United States. And as
- 35:44Speaker 7: far as I'm concerned, this is an order of magnitude
- 35:47Speaker 7: bigger than Ultra Petroleum, the one that I did.
- 35:50Speaker 2: All right.
- 35:50Speaker 3: The website is lostsoldier.com. Pretty simple stuff.
- 35:55Speaker 2: Lostsoldier.com.
- 35:56Speaker 6: The project, 40,000 acres, took 40 years to piece together.
- 36:01Speaker 2: It's called Lost Soldier Oil and Gas LLC. That's the company.
- 36:04Speaker 2: That's the project.
- 36:05Speaker 6: But the website, Lostsoldier.com. If you're an accredited investor, Mark
- 36:10Speaker 6: wants to hear from you. If you want to hear
- 36:11Speaker 6: more information, check it out. Fill out the form and
- 36:14Speaker 6: you get to Lost Soldier. Mark and his people will
- 36:16Speaker 6: get back to you as CFOs. and let you know
- 36:19Speaker 6: all the details you need to know, LostSoldier.com.
- 36:22Speaker 3: Thanks, Mark, for being with us today.
- 36:24Speaker 2: Hey, thank you, Wayne.
- 36:25Speaker 4: Good to see you again. That's my cue to talk,
- 36:45Speaker 4: ladies and gentlemen. My name is Lee Elsie. I am
- 36:47Speaker 4: the voice of freedom. You can email me, leelcieradio at gmail.com.
- 36:51Speaker 4: That's L-E-E-L-C-I radio at gmail.com. I am filling in as
- 36:56Speaker 4: I have always filled in for Wayne Allen Root. I
- 36:59Speaker 4: know where he is tonight, but I'm not telling everybody
- 37:01Speaker 4: where he is. But you can go watch what's going
- 37:03Speaker 4: on at thegatewaypundit.com. You can go to patriot.tv, which is
- 37:07Speaker 4: my home. I stream on patriot.tv every single morning for
- 37:12Speaker 4: four hours. Then we have a replay at 1 p.m.
- 37:16Speaker 4: in the afternoon. So hopefully you guys can check that
- 37:18Speaker 4: out if you can.
- 37:19Speaker 3: Joining us right now.
- 37:21Speaker 4: And again, we were lucky enough to get her on
- 37:22Speaker 4: the morning show. She's a former lieutenant governor in the
- 37:25Speaker 4: state of New York. And Betsy McCoy also has a
- 37:28Speaker 4: Newsmax program Sunday mornings.
- 37:30Speaker 3: Now, Betsy, what time is that on Sunday so they
- 37:32Speaker 3: can go watch?
- 37:33Speaker 5: So nice of you to ask. It's Wake Up America
- 37:35Speaker 5: weekend and it's on from 7 to 10 Sunday mornings.
- 37:39Speaker 5: And we have great guests, a lot of good fun
- 37:42Speaker 5: and a lot of information. Please join us.
- 37:45Speaker 4: I had about 20 people email me today saying they
- 37:48Speaker 4: watched you on Sunday because when you were on and
- 37:51Speaker 4: they loved it. So I just wanted to tell you
- 37:52Speaker 4: that you got a couple of thumbs up as far.
- 37:55Speaker 2: As what was going on.
- 37:55Speaker 1: Oh, that's good.
- 37:55Speaker 5: Well, we did spend a whole segment talking about this
- 37:58Speaker 5: outrageous Connecticut incident. Housing bill. Of course, we also talked
- 38:03Speaker 5: a lot about the gloom and doom ahead with Zoran Mamdani.
- 38:07Speaker 4: So you're obviously very experienced in New York. I asked
- 38:11Speaker 4: this question of everybody I know who's basically has the
- 38:15Speaker 4: New York, let's say, soul, if you will. If I
- 38:18Speaker 4: ask you two years from now, what does New York
- 38:22Speaker 4: look like?
- 38:24Speaker 5: It's not going to take two years, unfortunately. In less
- 38:28Speaker 5: than two years, significantly less, the city will be dissolving
- 38:33Speaker 5: into criminal bedlam. It will be in financial downward spiral,
- 38:40Speaker 5: near bankruptcy. That's by next July. And almost immediately when
- 38:46Speaker 5: Mamdani takes office in January— Our Jewish friends will be
- 38:52Speaker 5: really terrified, and for good reason, because he's going to
- 38:56Speaker 5: unleash a lot of anti-Semitic mobs around the city, on
- 39:02Speaker 5: the campuses, in the public schools. He has already said
- 39:06Speaker 5: he will not use the police to protect Jewish students.
- 39:11Speaker 4: I think people don't realize, too, it's going to be
- 39:13Speaker 4: a safe haven for any illegal alien.
- 39:15Speaker 3: If you're an illegal alien.
- 39:17Speaker 4: Living in the United States right now, you're going to
- 39:19Speaker 4: figure out a way to get to New York because
- 39:21Speaker 4: he's already said he's not going to deport anybody.
- 39:23Speaker 5: Oh, well, not to deport them. He's going to afford
- 39:27Speaker 5: them every kind of protection. By the way, Netflix. who
- 39:30Speaker 5: has moved so far to the left, he and his
- 39:33Speaker 5: cronies have also announced they they rammed a bill through
- 39:37Speaker 5: in this emergency session last week. to protect illegals from
- 39:41Speaker 5: being arrested in all different types of venues within the
- 39:45Speaker 5: state of Connecticut, too. So, I don't know why the
- 39:48Speaker 5: Democrats have decided that they would rather be friends with
- 39:52Speaker 5: criminals and illegals than with Americans.
- 39:55Speaker 3: I don't get it. That's exactly right. That's exactly right.
- 39:58Speaker 4: You could not be more spot on when it comes—
- 40:01Speaker 4: in particular here in the state of Connecticut and other
- 40:03Speaker 4: blue states across the country.
- 40:05Speaker 3: But they have put, and.
- 40:06Speaker 4: Pardon the expression, a bullseye on the back of our
- 40:09Speaker 4: law enforcement, and they do not want them to succeed.
- 40:13Speaker 4: Like you had said, in the state of Connecticut, they
- 40:16Speaker 4: call this fake emergency session so that they could protect
- 40:20Speaker 4: the illegals who are going to court from ICE agents,
- 40:23Speaker 4: and so they can't wear masks or arrest them.
- 40:26Speaker 3: It's a joke what's going on here in the state.
- 40:30Speaker 1: Right.
- 40:30Speaker 5: And that's happening in states all across the country. It's
- 40:34Speaker 5: as if there was no respect for federal law. They're
- 40:39Speaker 5: really not part of the United States anymore. And listen
- 40:41Speaker 5: to them talk. They're denouncing the president for blowing up
- 40:47Speaker 5: the boats of drug runners who are bringing drugs in
- 40:50Speaker 5: to kill our kids, right? And you hear them claim, oh,
- 40:55Speaker 5: these are fishermen. These are— Women and children in these boats.
- 41:00Speaker 5: You must be kidding. That's like calling Abrego Garcia. The
- 41:06Speaker 5: Maryland man. There was nothing Maryland about him.
- 41:09Speaker 3: No, nothing. Every excuse they can do.
- 41:12Speaker 4: I think they're going.
- 41:12Speaker 5: To run that Maryland man for president. He's their favorite.
- 41:17Speaker 4: So, real quick before we run out of time, just back.
- 41:20Speaker 3: To New York for just a second. I know people
- 41:23Speaker 3: who are fairly well off. They're out, man. They're leaving.
- 41:27Speaker 3: They're selling and they're moving.
- 41:29Speaker 4: This is going to be a disaster real estate-wise. I mean,
- 41:33Speaker 4: Connecticut may benefit, but If you're living in New York,
- 41:37Speaker 4: people don't.
- 41:37Speaker 3: Want to get they want to get out of there
- 41:38Speaker 3: as fast they can.
- 41:39Speaker 2: Right.
- 41:39Speaker 5: That's right. And the Mamdani is pushing Hochul, who is
- 41:44Speaker 5: spineless governor, to raise the corporate tax rate 50 percent. Right.
- 41:49Speaker 2: 50 percent.
- 41:50Speaker 5: If I were governor of Connecticut, I'd be on that
- 41:53Speaker 5: border luring those companies across because Connecticut has been in
- 41:57Speaker 5: a slow decline, slow economic decline for the last eight years.
- 42:01Speaker 5: We need more employers. We need more businesses. And now
- 42:04Speaker 5: is the time to get them.
- 42:07Speaker 4: So Betsy McCoy, our guest, and again, Fox, excuse me,
- 42:10Speaker 4: Fox Newsmax on Sunday morning. She's also a former lieutenant governor.
- 42:13Speaker 4: We're just lucky enough to get her. We don't have
- 42:16Speaker 4: a lot of time, but one more time, if you can, please,
- 42:19Speaker 4: please tell everybody where and when they can watch your show.
- 42:22Speaker 5: Oh, that's so nice of you. Newsmax, 7 to 10 a.m.
- 42:27Speaker 5: on Sundays. Also, I'm a columnist, weekly columnist for The
- 42:30Speaker 5: New York Post. My column is up tonight, and it
- 42:35Speaker 5: totally exposes all the socialistic, anti-American provisions in that new
- 42:41Speaker 5: housing bill.
- 42:42Speaker 3: Oh, I can't wait to read that. Thank you very
- 42:44Speaker 3: much for letting me know. I didn't see that, and
- 42:45Speaker 3: I've got to get out and read that for sure.
- 42:46Speaker 5: It'll be up around 8.30 tonight, just for you, Lee.
- 42:51Speaker 3: Well, that's awesome. Thank you so much. I will talk
- 42:53Speaker 3: to you very soon. I appreciate you coming on.
- 42:56Speaker 5: Thank you. It's a pleasure and a privilege, by the way,
- 42:58Speaker 5: a privilege to be on your show.
- 43:00Speaker 3: Have a great night.
- 43:01Speaker 2: All right.
- 43:01Speaker 4: When we come back, we're going to switch gears and
- 43:03Speaker 4: talk to the Heritage Foundation.
