- 0:02Speaker 2: Bus series that will drop every Saturday, and again we

- 0:08Speaker 2: the Bus from over the years. The first one we
- 0:10Speaker 2: got for you were thrown out all the way back
- 0:11Speaker 2: to when the Boy in twenty twenty four NFL MVP Josh.
- 0:15Speaker 1: Allen joined the bus.
- 0:16Speaker 2: We talked about him landing on the Madden cover, the
- 0:19Speaker 2: Bill's Wild Season, the night of the DeMar Hamlin incident,
- 0:22Speaker 2: and some hilarious stories only the Boy Josh could tell.
- 0:25Speaker 1: He's one of the boys.
- 0:26Speaker 2: And if you haven't heard this one or just want
- 0:27Speaker 2: to run it back, enjoy big hugs, tiny kisses.
- 0:32Speaker 1: Dude day, thanks for coming you. I know you've been
- 0:33Speaker 1: on the move. You know.
- 0:38Speaker 2: There good you just came. So we're for everybody watching.
- 0:41Speaker 2: We are hiding you. Is today and Josh was in
- 0:46Speaker 2: la yesterday all day for his Madden shoot.
- 0:49Speaker 1: Got here. What times you arrive? What times you get
- 0:51Speaker 1: in Nashville? Eleven thirty last night? Eleven thirty last night?
- 0:53Speaker 2: It is eight am before tight End you starts today
- 0:57Speaker 2: and the boys blessing us with his presence. But you
- 1:00Speaker 2: were in l A for your Madden shoot talk about
- 1:03Speaker 2: being on the cover of Madden.
- 1:04Speaker 1: Dude. Yeah, it's uh, it's weird.
- 1:07Speaker 3: It's like as a kid, right and you you play
- 1:10Speaker 3: this game. That's how I learned the game of football,
- 1:13Speaker 3: all the rules, uh, the rough in the you know
- 1:16Speaker 3: rough in the past, are going and playing against my
- 1:18Speaker 3: brother and it's just kind of full circle. I learned
- 1:22Speaker 3: it playing Madden now on the cover, and some kid
- 1:25Speaker 3: will eventually be like I learned the game playing for Madden.
- 1:27Speaker 3: It was the cover of when Josh Allen was on
- 1:29Speaker 3: on the cover and mine was oh three Marshall Fox,
- 1:32Speaker 3: So I vividly remember that that that cover and it's
- 1:35Speaker 3: just it's surreal.
- 1:36Speaker 4: What was the process for you, like when you found out,
- 1:38Speaker 4: Like did they call you like, hey, it's between you
- 1:40Speaker 4: and like two other guys, three other guys, or they
- 1:42Speaker 4: hit you up and say, hey, you're the.
- 1:43Speaker 1: You're the cover of mat Yeah.
- 1:44Speaker 3: They called my agent and said, hey, we want to
- 1:47Speaker 3: sit down with Josh or at least do a zoom call.
- 1:49Speaker 3: And we got on and they had this whole video
- 1:52Speaker 3: and like you're the guy that we want and you
- 1:54Speaker 3: you're the most used guy, and they brought up all
- 1:56Speaker 3: these stats and all these numbers of how many rushing
- 1:58Speaker 3: yards you know, like it was really cool. It's like
- 2:02Speaker 3: the one that I stuck out to me, A billion
- 2:04Speaker 3: rushing yards over the course of people using Madden twenty
- 2:08Speaker 3: twenty two.
- 2:09Speaker 1: Yeah, last money.
- 2:11Speaker 2: Well they're telling you your stats of how people have
- 2:13Speaker 2: used him.
- 2:15Speaker 1: Oh yeah, I mean that's kind of fine.
- 2:16Speaker 3: Billion yard rush, billion rushing yards, a few billion passing yards,
- 2:21Speaker 3: one hundred million touchdowns. Like it was actually insane to
- 2:24Speaker 3: hear those numbers, and I was like, that's that's pretty cool.
- 2:27Speaker 1: All right. Are you worried about the Madden.
- 2:31Speaker 3: Oh that's already that's done and over with Pat and
- 2:33Speaker 3: Tom broke that a few years ago.
- 2:35Speaker 4: Yeah, but if you look at statistically those two broke it, they've.
- 2:38Speaker 2: Helped the percentage. It's not one hundred percent anymore. Now
- 2:41Speaker 2: you're talking about high eighties.
- 2:42Speaker 3: Yeah. I'm not supposed to be in the league. I
- 2:45Speaker 3: wasn't supposed to be here, you know, right where I
- 2:47Speaker 3: come from.
- 2:47Speaker 4: Like, yeah, dude, you're right, six six tall, super athletic hand,
- 2:51Speaker 4: some massive hands are talking about you.
- 2:53Speaker 1: Nothing about you, all right, we're talking about you. Yeah,
- 2:58Speaker 1: all those things. Yeah, you weren't supposed to make it.
- 3:00Speaker 4: You did have a wild and I'm not a wild journey,
- 3:02Speaker 4: but like getting into the NFL, Like if you look
- 3:04Speaker 4: at you now, like Josh Allen, Yo, this teach should
- 3:06Speaker 4: have been a five star recruit and everything end up
- 3:08Speaker 4: going to Wyoming?
- 3:09Speaker 1: Right, Yeah, Like how how was that whole process?
- 3:11Speaker 4: Like going into that we just lay Bloomer didn't hit
- 3:14Speaker 4: puberty until at eighteen?
- 3:15Speaker 1: What's the deal? Really? Yeah?
- 3:17Speaker 3: I was like junior year, I was like six one
- 3:20Speaker 3: hundred and seventy pounds, soaking wet. Junior year, I got
- 3:23Speaker 3: to round six two sixty three. Then I went to
- 3:25Speaker 3: junior college and grew a couple more inches, and that's
- 3:28Speaker 3: when I was living on my own and I was
- 3:30Speaker 3: going to like Wendy's and Carls Junior every every single
- 3:32Speaker 3: night and just eating as much as I could. I
- 3:34Speaker 3: finally got up to like two o five my junior
- 3:36Speaker 3: college year, and I got to Wyoming my first year,
- 3:38Speaker 3: I got to like two thirty five.
- 3:41Speaker 1: I put on some you still crushing fast food? Yeah?
- 3:45Speaker 1: I love that. It's you number one spot.
- 3:48Speaker 4: If you were to say what the best fast food
- 3:49Speaker 4: burger is, Burger Fast, just strickle Burger.
- 3:52Speaker 1: So I can't say Chick fil A here, but your
- 3:55Speaker 1: flays your number one spot. I'd say, yeah, that flaz
- 3:59Speaker 1: a header, but I would hey, you closator. You're a
- 4:02Speaker 1: closetator of Chick fil A. Oh a little bit. I
- 4:05Speaker 1: got ran out.
- 4:06Speaker 4: I got chick fil A to me. It was overused
- 4:09Speaker 4: on the plane traveling with the Titans every single flight,
- 4:11Speaker 4: the Chook flight, you start to get to smell, even
- 4:14Speaker 4: the Polynesian saucer, like.
- 4:15Speaker 1: Hey, I gotta get the fuck out of here. It
- 4:16Speaker 1: just became too much. I get it, I get it.
- 4:18Speaker 4: Yeah, I appreciate you understanding my shirt. But as a
- 4:21Speaker 4: burger goes, this is ah.
- 4:24Speaker 1: And I heard you mentioned Carls Junior, which I feel
- 4:26Speaker 1: is slept on franchise.
- 4:28Speaker 3: Yeah, wedness is good, but not the best. Nothing beats
- 4:32Speaker 3: a big mac man what McDonald. I may or may
- 4:38Speaker 3: not have waited thirty five to forty minutes in the
- 4:40Speaker 3: drive through line last night on my way to the
- 4:42Speaker 3: hotel because he was really hungry there was nothing open,
- 4:45Speaker 3: and got myself a big Mac allegedly allegedly.
- 4:49Speaker 2: Hey, what's funny is you almost love when it's late
- 4:51Speaker 2: at night and you're like the only options available is
- 4:54Speaker 2: fast food.
- 4:55Speaker 1: You know what I mean, have to do it or
- 4:58Speaker 1: I'm not going to eat then I don't want to know.
- 5:00Speaker 4: But if i'm picking between, if you're at like two
- 5:02Speaker 4: a m. And you got to pick a spot, t
- 5:04Speaker 4: Bell Taco Bell, is, would.
- 5:06Speaker 1: You go te Bell over Big Mac depending on the night? Yeah,
- 5:11Speaker 1: I think if you're.
- 5:13Speaker 3: One way or another, yeah, I think they're different. But
- 5:15Speaker 3: if i'm because I live close in California to a
- 5:19Speaker 3: Taco Bell, I.
- 5:20Speaker 1: Think if you're if you're drunk or banged up, it's
- 5:23Speaker 1: more Taco Bell.
- 5:24Speaker 4: You you you brought up California and there's a legendary
- 5:27Speaker 4: fast food franchise there. And brother, I need this. What's
- 5:32Speaker 4: your what's your thought on in and out Burger? I
- 5:34Speaker 4: love the burger. That's all I need to hear. Hang
- 5:37Speaker 4: on here, don't even not talking about we're talking about burgers.
- 5:40Speaker 1: Go ahead, speak your truth, brother.
- 5:41Speaker 3: I think everybody agrees with me. You're the fries are
- 5:44Speaker 3: They're just not the best. No, No, I'm not going
- 5:47Speaker 3: to try to talk crap about it. Burger's great, Burger's fantastic.
- 5:52Speaker 3: Leave it at that. For the price point, I mean,
- 5:55Speaker 3: it's it's fantastic.
- 5:56Speaker 1: It's fantastic. Smash burger, I mean the majority of fast
- 6:00Speaker 1: food chains or smash burgers. Five guys. I had yesterday
- 6:03Speaker 1: for the first time in l a Rosco's chicken and waffles. Yes, hell, yes,
- 6:10Speaker 1: I've never had that. It is unreal. Did you to
- 6:13Speaker 1: a nice Roscoes or like the one close to Lax
- 6:17Speaker 1: in Englewood?
- 6:18Speaker 4: Okay, yeah, all right, that's what I need to hear.
- 6:20Speaker 4: That's what I fucking want to hear. That's the one
- 6:22Speaker 4: they got a Low Low Chicken Waffles, which was like
- 6:24Speaker 4: a sister company in Arizona. We went there in seven
- 6:27Speaker 4: and Central right there in Phoenix, and it's like broken down,
- 6:30Speaker 4: but you can get like Mason jars of kool aid.
- 6:33Speaker 1: Dude, their food is unreal. About the swelling of the
- 6:36Speaker 1: body lemonade I've ever had in my entire life, no question,
- 6:40Speaker 1: diabetes in a cup.
- 6:43Speaker 4: Rosco's is great though. Rosco's, Yeah, first time, first time ever.
- 6:48Speaker 4: So you don't eat very healthy.
- 6:51Speaker 1: I think that's we've kind of I think we've kind
- 6:53Speaker 1: of gotten to that point you're talking about.
- 6:57Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, I'm all about Chlork Flor can take other
- 7:01Speaker 2: than all that other shit.
- 7:02Speaker 1: Right, you need Macro that if you want to lose
- 7:05Speaker 1: weights the chloric definicit.
- 7:07Speaker 3: I think, like there are studies that show that if
- 7:09Speaker 3: you want to lose weight, just stop eating, right. So
- 7:12Speaker 3: that's when I need to stop start losing weight and
- 7:14Speaker 3: start cutting a little bit.
- 7:15Speaker 1: I just eat way less. I respect that. Man.
- 7:18Speaker 2: It's like, you know, you're you're at the top of
- 7:20Speaker 2: the food chain in the NFL as far as being
- 7:22Speaker 2: a quarterback. But it's refreshing to hear that you like
- 7:25Speaker 2: to get a little you like to get in the
- 7:26Speaker 2: trenches late at night.
- 7:27Speaker 4: Yeah, that is nice to hear. Yeah, that is good.
- 7:29Speaker 4: A lot of dudes too. People don't realize how bad
- 7:33Speaker 4: dude to eat in the NFL. You think everyone's just
- 7:35Speaker 4: a well oiled machine working on every little Hey this
- 7:37Speaker 4: this vegetable, this protein.
- 7:39Speaker 1: It's bad out there. The majority of guys, Yeah don't know.
- 7:41Speaker 4: It's yeah, it's about calories, even the college cafes.
- 7:46Speaker 1: Yeah. Tough, yeah, yeah, tough sledding out there for sure.
- 7:50Speaker 2: Did uh Man. I know we got away from the
- 7:52Speaker 2: mad and covered talk, but I wanted to bring up
- 7:54Speaker 2: like the first it was the first posting of her right,
- 7:58Speaker 2: and there was like a helmet Yeah, was that a
- 8:02Speaker 2: marketing employee? You think conspiracy for sure? Get people talking.
- 8:07Speaker 1: Yeah, of course it worked. They didn't do it on accident.
- 8:10Speaker 1: I mean, I mean you do that on it. Yeah.
- 8:13Speaker 2: You guys started off with an absolute bang last year
- 8:18Speaker 2: and unfortunately fell off at the end.
- 8:21Speaker 1: And you talk about the season a little bit.
- 8:24Speaker 3: Yeah, a lot of ups and downs, a lot of
- 8:29Speaker 3: crap that some teams may never never have and never
- 8:34Speaker 3: will have.
- 8:34Speaker 1: To go through. You know, when you talk about some of.
- 8:37Speaker 3: The crazy stuff that happened to us last year, you
- 8:40Speaker 3: can you can name it off and I won't go
- 8:42Speaker 3: through that right now, but just the way that we
- 8:45Speaker 3: came together and at the end of the year, man,
- 8:48Speaker 3: we were we were drained emotionally, physically, mentally.
- 8:52Speaker 2: Because playoffs was basically a couple of weeks after the
- 8:55Speaker 2: the more Hamlet incident.
- 8:56Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah, God, that was that was nuts. Yeah, and
- 9:00Speaker 1: that's everybody and everyone.
- 9:02Speaker 3: Thank god. He's he's doing good now. He's back in
- 9:05Speaker 3: the building and put on a helmet, did some Ota
- 9:08Speaker 3: stuff with us, and you know, he's gearing back up
- 9:11Speaker 3: to play. So I know, even off the field, he's
- 9:14Speaker 3: got so much shit going on. It's he's he's an
- 9:17Speaker 3: impressive human being.
- 9:18Speaker 2: What was it like in the moment that that happened
- 9:21Speaker 2: from your perspective, I mean it was uh. I would
- 9:26Speaker 2: assume just eyes wide hoping that everything's all right, but
- 9:29Speaker 2: like from your lens and your angle, like, what are
- 9:31Speaker 2: you sitting there in the moment thinking about.
- 9:34Speaker 3: Well, I mean you never suspect that, right, like what
- 9:38Speaker 3: was going on in the ship that we were hearing
- 9:41Speaker 3: from the training staff and the paramedics that were, you know,
- 9:45Speaker 3: working on him. I mean, it's just like it's set
- 9:49Speaker 3: in after about forty five seconds standing out there like
- 9:52Speaker 3: all right, what's going on? Like he's okay? And then
- 9:54Speaker 3: all of a sudden you hear some of the stuff
- 9:55Speaker 3: and it's like this, Yeah, it was.
- 9:59Speaker 1: It was.
- 10:02Speaker 3: It was nuts, I will say this, but an amazing
- 10:08Speaker 3: effort by our training staff, an amazing effort by him
- 10:12Speaker 3: for fighting through it. And I think that the one
- 10:15Speaker 3: the buff the community of Buffalo was fantastic.
- 10:19Speaker 1: But really the NFL community.
- 10:20Speaker 3: Coming together and you know, prayers don't hurt, you know,
- 10:25Speaker 3: so I think really everybody in the NFL community come
- 10:28Speaker 3: together and sharing a moment at least for a little
- 10:31Speaker 3: bit where everybody was united you know, cheering for one purpose,
- 10:35Speaker 3: and that was the safety of tomorrow.
- 10:36Speaker 1: So I think that was pretty cool.
- 10:38Speaker 4: When all that's going down, and you know, sitting there
- 10:41Speaker 4: watching the game, everyone's talking about do they play? Do
- 10:43Speaker 4: they not play? At first year, you think, all right,
- 10:46Speaker 4: this guy, this guy's injured. You have no idea what
- 10:48Speaker 4: it is, but they're probably you know, you know, you know,
- 10:50Speaker 4: in the ambulance and everything's gonna start up. And then
- 10:52Speaker 4: you start to see the severity, start to see the
- 10:54Speaker 4: emotion everybody's eyes. Like, at what point was were you
- 10:57Speaker 4: guys like, there's no way we can play this game.
- 11:01Speaker 3: Well, we didn't really have a choice right away. It
- 11:05Speaker 3: was kind of like, all right, warm up, you guys
- 11:06Speaker 3: are going it was like the nuts ever, yeah, yeah, I.
- 11:13Speaker 1: Think it was.
- 11:14Speaker 3: Obviously it's a new spot for everybody to be in,
- 11:15Speaker 3: so I don't fault anybody. But finally we're just like
- 11:20Speaker 3: hold up, right, like, let's let's let's go in the
- 11:23Speaker 3: locker room, let's reconvene. Like there's guys sitting on the
- 11:26Speaker 3: bench that like looked in the face of death right now, right, Like,
- 11:32Speaker 3: so went in the locker room and I had to
- 11:37Speaker 3: do some some tough things in there and then say
- 11:39Speaker 3: some tough things, and but we ultimately came to the
- 11:42Speaker 3: decision like, if there was one guy in this room
- 11:44Speaker 3: that can't play, we don't play. And obviously there's more
- 11:47Speaker 3: than one guy that was like, no, I'm not not
- 11:49Speaker 3: going out there's all right, Then nobody's.
- 11:50Speaker 1: Going out there.
- 11:51Speaker 3: And then in which I thought was a really cool thing,
- 11:53Speaker 3: the Bengals. So I talked to my coach and I
- 11:56Speaker 3: was like, hey, we're not playing. I'm gonna go talk
- 11:59Speaker 3: to the Bengals and just tell them, like, we can't
- 12:01Speaker 3: do it. As I started walking over there, they were
- 12:04Speaker 3: walking to us saying the same thing.
- 12:06Speaker 1: Yeah. So it was like there was a couple of guys.
- 12:08Speaker 3: It was Joe and Joe Mixon, Joe Burrow, obviously I
- 12:12Speaker 3: think Tyler Boyd. So to be able to sit there
- 12:15Speaker 3: and talk with them and just like guys, like we're
- 12:17Speaker 3: we're not playing either, Like I thought, that was a
- 12:20Speaker 3: pretty pretty respectful thing for them to do, which made
- 12:25Speaker 3: it a lot easier for us too.
- 12:27Speaker 4: Yeah, that shit was wild. That was a scary situation.
- 12:30Speaker 4: It puts me things into perspective of how small football
- 12:33Speaker 4: really is.
- 12:33Speaker 1: At the end of the day. Yeah, yeah, especially in
- 12:35Speaker 1: that moment.
- 12:36Speaker 2: I mean, it was obviously the most talked about thing
- 12:39Speaker 2: for the next for how many days. But in that
- 12:42Speaker 2: because I I forget, like I don't even think I
- 12:44Speaker 2: was watching the game at the time. I think I
- 12:46Speaker 2: was going on somebody's like, hey, do you see what's
- 12:49Speaker 2: going on with this with this game?
- 12:51Speaker 1: And you're just thinking, like, you know, what, what could
- 12:53Speaker 1: be happening.
- 12:54Speaker 2: Then you see Twitter a little bit and you're like
- 12:55Speaker 2: on this game and you see that it's on this
- 12:57Speaker 2: long delay, and like, yo, what the fuck happened? And
- 13:00Speaker 2: you're waiting for videos to come up and everything else,
- 13:01Speaker 2: and you see like this routine type play and it's
- 13:05Speaker 2: just a collapse, and it's just like.
- 13:06Speaker 1: What in the fuck is going on?
- 13:08Speaker 2: But yeah, everyone, you know, everybody's throwing out opinions, what
- 13:11Speaker 2: you should do, what you should not do, all this kind.
- 13:13Speaker 4: Of stuff, are saying all this stuff. They're just online
- 13:16Speaker 4: saying this is what's happening.
- 13:17Speaker 2: Yeah, And like, like you say, it's almost like I
- 13:19Speaker 2: can't believe they're trying to get these guys out there
- 13:20Speaker 2: to play and warm up and stuff. But I mean, fuck,
- 13:22Speaker 2: you don't know what's Like some of these, especially if
- 13:24Speaker 2: it's like a strength coach, they're probably being told, hey,
- 13:26Speaker 2: it sounds like the game's gonna go on, or the
- 13:28Speaker 2: coaches seems like we're gonna do X, Y and Z,
- 13:30Speaker 2: Like okay, I guess if we think we're gonna play
- 13:33Speaker 2: the big picture, they think we're gonna play like we
- 13:34Speaker 2: should probably tell our guys that warm up. They're like that, like,
- 13:37Speaker 2: hey guys, let's fucking get going, and it's like yo,
- 13:39Speaker 2: hang on. But it's probably such a unique thing for everybody.
- 13:42Speaker 2: Well yeah, for everybody involved.
- 13:43Speaker 1: Man.
- 13:44Speaker 3: And then we're on the bus after the game, just
- 13:46Speaker 3: like refresh, yeah, refresh, give me news, give me news.
- 13:49Speaker 1: Like I it was. It was tough to go to
- 13:51Speaker 1: sleep that night. So was damar at the game when
- 13:55Speaker 1: they said it was a paid actor that was sending
- 13:57Speaker 1: it was just that we have to get going out there.
- 14:03Speaker 3: That was one undred promise. I was in our locker
- 14:06Speaker 3: room before that. They were trying trying to move him
- 14:08Speaker 3: kind of discreetly so he didn't get bothered too much.
- 14:11Speaker 3: And actually they're still modern monitoring and everything. But that
- 14:16Speaker 3: was him, man, that was it is.
- 14:18Speaker 1: Still him, Yeah, still him, it's still him. Promise promise yeah,
- 14:21Speaker 1: I promise.
- 14:22Speaker 2: Incredible day he's back out there, like you know, like
- 14:24Speaker 2: you said, put on the helmet, participating in something.
- 14:30Speaker 3: Can I get it on the next the next time
- 14:31Speaker 3: you guys go go where you guys gotta buy one,
- 14:34Speaker 3: get one free for the teeth.
- 14:36Speaker 1: Right Yeah?
- 14:37Speaker 4: Yeah, do you want to get some veneers?
- 14:41Speaker 1: Are you thinking about doing it? I've thought about it. Yeah.
- 14:44Speaker 3: My parents spent too much money on my in my mouth,
- 14:47Speaker 3: you know, braces and ship growing up.
- 14:48Speaker 2: So yeah, it's an easy I know there's an easy
- 14:51Speaker 2: fix now. But yesterday he should think about it. Yeah, Foster, Yeah,
- 14:59Speaker 2: yeah he would out there. Oh I forgot to ask him,
- 15:02Speaker 2: like what was that from? And honestly, I think it's
- 15:03Speaker 2: because he got mashed in the mouth by it in
- 15:06Speaker 2: the weight room.
- 15:08Speaker 1: Oh he's talk about the thing he can't talk about. Yeah,
- 15:10Speaker 1: we gotta figure that out.
- 15:11Speaker 4: I know we do have to do some investigative journalism
- 15:14Speaker 4: here on him.
- 15:15Speaker 2: But yeah, you should look into some veneers because you
- 15:17Speaker 2: are in tabloids now, like you wanna you wanna address
- 15:20Speaker 2: some rumors out there.
- 15:21Speaker 1: It's a game changer, for real game changer. It's a process.
- 15:24Speaker 4: Though you get the tempts put on I don't know
- 15:26Speaker 4: how you were with the tempts, but they.
- 15:28Speaker 1: Hang on, we got it hurt? Did it hurt? Don't
- 15:30Speaker 1: don't let him get don't let him get away from that.
- 15:32Speaker 1: Remember what I'm talking about? Veneers. I'm talking about it.
- 15:35Speaker 2: No I know, I said he flipped and honest, He's like, oh,
- 15:38Speaker 2: can I join you next time? I? Oh, yeah, you
- 15:39Speaker 2: shouldoking at the Veneers because he is in the tabloids,
- 15:41Speaker 2: like apparently there's some rumors he's dating an actress.
- 15:44Speaker 1: Like there's some stuff going on out there. So the
- 15:48Speaker 1: Madden cover.
- 15:55Speaker 4: Sis, it's on the docket. We should talk about the rumors.
- 15:57Speaker 4: Do you want to talk about your personal life and
- 15:59Speaker 4: who you're dating?
- 16:02Speaker 1: No comment? All right? I always say Patty's doing great.
- 16:06Speaker 1: You taught him well.
- 16:07Speaker 2: Talk about because it's obviously a big discussion right now. Uh,
- 16:12Speaker 2: big conversation around Bill's mafia, Bill's media and everything else.
- 16:16Speaker 2: This defon Diggs stuff going on. Can you talk about
- 16:19Speaker 2: your relationship with him?
- 16:20Speaker 1: Yeah? I love him, that's my guy. Like what.
- 16:26Speaker 3: The media has blondness so far out of proportion, right,
- 16:29Speaker 3: Like we are in rookie or mini camp. We're not
- 16:32Speaker 3: playing a game for four months. He doesn't show up
- 16:36Speaker 3: one day, he's still there. You know, coach asked him
- 16:39Speaker 3: to to go home. We're in talks and discussions of
- 16:42Speaker 3: trying to trying to resolve some things and it wasn't
- 16:44Speaker 3: anything major and media blew it up and they're.
- 16:49Speaker 1: Still talking about it, like, let it go, let it go.
- 16:51Speaker 3: There's there's no reason to continue talking about it. He
- 16:54Speaker 3: was on the field with us the next day.
- 16:57Speaker 1: You know, we're it was not a big deal. Yeah.
- 17:01Speaker 2: I feel like every day I get on the bird app,
- 17:03Speaker 2: somebody's trying to find one little sentence or a couple
- 17:06Speaker 2: of words they might hear from somebody to where whether he's.
- 17:08Speaker 3: It's always like, oh it wasn't this, but it might
- 17:10Speaker 3: have may have been this, and someone else coming to
- 17:12Speaker 3: know it wasn't that it was this, And everybody's got
- 17:14Speaker 3: their opinion, which due to social media now is broadcast.
- 17:18Speaker 3: Is that broadcasted everywhere? And you know, alwas see this
- 17:22Speaker 3: guy on on Twitter. He's talking about how he was
- 17:24Speaker 3: an all pro one time and he would have made
- 17:26Speaker 3: all these plays.
- 17:29Speaker 1: We'll come oh it was it you? Anyways? Did did
- 17:36Speaker 1: I say anything about us? Tweet last night? It was
- 17:39Speaker 1: a trash day? Is upon us.
- 17:41Speaker 2: Yeah, trash Day tomorrow. Yes, and I did forget sleep forget.
- 17:45Speaker 2: I texted the nanny said hey, so, I said, hey, So,
- 17:50Speaker 2: I'm not quite sure what happened from when we were
- 17:52Speaker 2: talking about trash Day to me leaving in the truck
- 17:54Speaker 2: a couple of minutes later, but I forgot to roll
- 17:57Speaker 2: the trash out.
- 17:57Speaker 1: To the end of the curb.
- 17:58Speaker 2: If you don't mind doing that for me and keeping
- 18:01Speaker 2: this between us so charge doesn't find out, because at
- 18:03Speaker 2: the end of the day, the key here is I
- 18:05Speaker 2: knew that it was trash Day.
- 18:06Speaker 4: Yeah, remembered. You just do the action, Yeah, exactly, That's
- 18:11Speaker 4: all that matters. Yeah, yeah, Yeah. Host of Fun Day
- 18:14Speaker 4: stating was wild. I mean you do see stuff. I
- 18:16Speaker 4: think it was like the AFC Championship game, and you
- 18:18Speaker 4: could see he's getting like like pretty, he's yelling at
- 18:22Speaker 4: he's being dramatic. You're sitting there looking at the tablet
- 18:24Speaker 4: ripping through whatever. He's looks like he's being real theatrical
- 18:27Speaker 4: about it. But if I go back to week two,
- 18:30Speaker 4: Monday Night football, when we were playing, y'all, like once
- 18:34Speaker 4: I got hurt, I'm in the I'm in the locker
- 18:36Speaker 4: room watching the game. The chemistry of your team looks
- 18:39Speaker 4: like you guys just have so much fun. It looks
- 18:41Speaker 4: it literally looks like high school football, Like you guys
- 18:44Speaker 4: are just truly enjoying. I texted David Lee West and
- 18:48Speaker 4: Barry Rogers saffold Deakon Jones.
- 18:50Speaker 1: I was like, is it really what it seems like?
- 18:51Speaker 4: And was like, yes, So it was unique to see
- 18:54Speaker 4: the whole thing of the AFC Championship and then all
- 18:56Speaker 4: this stuff.
- 18:57Speaker 1: Now, you know, maybe it wasn't as.
- 18:59Speaker 3: Good as I will say this Steph. Steph is hyped
- 19:01Speaker 3: up on game days. He'll yell at me for good,
- 19:04Speaker 3: he'll yeut me for bad, like and I want that
- 19:06Speaker 3: from him. I want him to tell me what's going on.
- 19:08Speaker 3: And but again, like when things are going good, he's
- 19:13Speaker 3: yelling at somebody because he's hyped up and he wants
- 19:15Speaker 3: to see somebody do something. And yeah, so you know,
- 19:21Speaker 3: it is what it is. He's one of the best
- 19:23Speaker 3: receivers in the game. That's my brother right there, freaking
- 19:25Speaker 3: love and everything else does. It's behind us and we're
- 19:29Speaker 3: moving forward.
- 19:30Speaker 4: He's a guy that takes a lot of targets and
- 19:32Speaker 4: obviously DeAndre Hopkins comes into Buffalo. He might be going there,
- 19:35Speaker 4: he might be going to Tennessee, go to the Patriots.
- 19:37Speaker 4: But Will tells a story of Colt McCoy when he
- 19:41Speaker 4: was playing with the Cardinals and Deandre's like, hey, just
- 19:43Speaker 4: throw me the ball.
- 19:44Speaker 1: What are you doing? Like pull them to the side.
- 19:46Speaker 4: If DeAndre does come to the Bills, do you think
- 19:48Speaker 4: that would what would that do?
- 19:50Speaker 1: First? If on would that?
- 19:51Speaker 4: Would he take that and want that or would that
- 19:53Speaker 4: be something that he'd be Like, I don't. Let's less
- 19:55Speaker 4: targets for him.
- 19:57Speaker 1: Honestly, we haven't talked about any of that.
- 20:00Speaker 3: I know that having talks with other people in our
- 20:03Speaker 3: building that he may have been he may be okay
- 20:08Speaker 3: with it. I don't know until we get to the situation.
- 20:10Speaker 3: Like I couldn't give you a real answer to be honest,
- 20:13Speaker 3: for you.
- 20:13Speaker 2: How do you what's cool? What's cool? Like having you
- 20:17Speaker 2: on the bus last year? Like I want to say,
- 20:18Speaker 2: by that time, you said signed your big deal, but
- 20:20Speaker 2: you're obviously you know you're still.
- 20:23Speaker 1: Essentially in your rookie years.
- 20:25Speaker 2: Now you are a year later outside of that first year,
- 20:28Speaker 2: your first deal, Like having an NFL quarterback on the bus,
- 20:32Speaker 2: like talk to us about like what maturities get made,
- 20:35Speaker 2: Like how do you develop even more? How do you
- 20:38Speaker 2: work on your craft? Like how is life different for
- 20:40Speaker 2: an NFL quarterback going from like a rookie contract and
- 20:42Speaker 2: now you're like growing into being more of a guy,
- 20:44Speaker 2: like a veteran in the locker room.
- 20:46Speaker 3: I think the weight of your words matter a lot more,
- 20:49Speaker 3: especially in the locker room and talking to guys. And
- 20:52Speaker 3: you know, I try not to talk as much. I
- 20:54Speaker 3: try to work and show guys in my locker room that, like,
- 20:57Speaker 3: this guy wants it. So when I'm in the building,
- 21:00Speaker 3: I'm in the building like we're working hard, and make
- 21:04Speaker 3: no mistake about it. I have a lot of fun.
- 21:06Speaker 3: Like I like you were saying, it's the best job
- 21:10Speaker 3: in the world.
- 21:11Speaker 1: It really is.
- 21:11Speaker 3: Like I get to come in and work out and
- 21:13Speaker 3: hang out my guys and joke around and go on
- 21:16Speaker 3: the practical and throw a ball around Like that's freaking cool. Yeah,
- 21:19Speaker 3: you know, so I tried to let everybody know and
- 21:22Speaker 3: feel how much I love it. It's like I'm gonna
- 21:26Speaker 3: do me, match me, and do you right, like enjoy this.
- 21:30Speaker 3: And I've been so fortunate to have some of the
- 21:32Speaker 3: guys in my locker room you talk about Michael hid
- 21:34Speaker 3: and Jordan Poyer, who I've been there for my entire time.
- 21:37Speaker 3: With Bean Dawkins, who's a vivacious characters He's awesome, He's yeah,
- 21:46Speaker 3: von Miller bringing him in and having to hang out
- 21:49Speaker 3: with him and see how much he loves the game
- 21:51Speaker 3: and bringing a guy like just the guys that we've
- 21:54Speaker 3: brought in have been fantastic and they share the same
- 21:57Speaker 3: passion for the game that I do.
- 21:59Speaker 1: So it's it's been it's been easy. Man.
- 22:02Speaker 2: When you talk about like knowing that your words matter
- 22:07Speaker 2: and everything else, Like, as you've grown into the role
- 22:09Speaker 2: that you have, do you feel like it's important to
- 22:12Speaker 2: speak up a little more, maybe more than you're comfortable
- 22:14Speaker 2: doing because you're like, a, I do understand that I'm
- 22:16Speaker 2: in this role and I carry all this weight on
- 22:18Speaker 2: the team. Like do you kind of, you know, push
- 22:20Speaker 2: yourself to get out and speak up a little bit
- 22:23Speaker 2: more because it does matter.
- 22:24Speaker 3: I'm trying to And that's that's always been a hard
- 22:27Speaker 3: thing for me, is like being the asshole, right like,
- 22:29Speaker 3: because it's not really who I am. And I think
- 22:31Speaker 3: being a leader, I think the main like the main
- 22:35Speaker 3: thing for me is being as authentic as possible, or
- 22:39Speaker 3: like I don't I don't read leadership books because I
- 22:42Speaker 3: don't want somebody else's thoughts in my mind about how
- 22:45Speaker 3: to be a good leader. Like either sometimes you either
- 22:47Speaker 3: got it or you don't. That's my take on it.
- 22:49Speaker 3: Like there's sports psychologists and all these people that can
- 22:54Speaker 3: talk you through things. But again, I think that kind
- 22:56Speaker 3: of takes away from being authentic and that that, to
- 23:00Speaker 3: me is the number one thing be just be me,
- 23:02Speaker 3: And it's worked out for me so far, and you know,
- 23:05Speaker 3: in terms of getting respect from from guys on the
- 23:08Speaker 3: team and and people in our building.
- 23:10Speaker 1: So I'm just trying to continue to do that.
- 23:13Speaker 4: About the mental aspect of everything, like what is your
- 23:15Speaker 4: process in the off season soon as season ends, Like
- 23:18Speaker 4: what is your game plan as far as how much
- 23:20Speaker 4: how long you take off? What do you do from
- 23:23Speaker 4: a mental standpoint, physical standpoint, where do you train and
- 23:25Speaker 4: stuff like that.
- 23:25Speaker 3: Yeah, I think it's it's changed over the course of
- 23:27Speaker 3: my career so far. Like early on it was like
- 23:29Speaker 3: all right, let's throw let's work out every you know,
- 23:32Speaker 3: four times a week. I'm kind of like I was
- 23:35Speaker 3: in Ota is the entire off season in the last
- 23:38Speaker 3: couple of years. It's like just get away right, like,
- 23:41Speaker 3: let be cause I played the game a little bit
- 23:45Speaker 3: differently than most guys. I take a lot of hits,
- 23:48Speaker 3: zero ball security, zero ball security.
- 23:50Speaker 1: I'm out here. You look for the physicalt.
- 23:52Speaker 3: I sometimes and if I see Will Compton in the
- 23:54Speaker 3: middle of the field, I might be I'm going.
- 23:56Speaker 1: Straight right here.
- 23:56Speaker 2: But you ain't jumping over me. I'll tell you that
- 23:58Speaker 2: right now. I might have to come back. I'm might
- 24:00Speaker 2: have to come out of retirement.
- 24:03Speaker 1: Yeah, but like the.
- 24:03Speaker 4: Show retirement announced by the way, let's not let's not
- 24:06Speaker 4: get over that.
- 24:07Speaker 1: That's wild.
- 24:08Speaker 2: Well, I'm just saying, you know, the NFL is and
- 24:09Speaker 2: their thing to hold me out. I might have to
- 24:11Speaker 2: go clean slate this year.
- 24:13Speaker 1: Would you consider it your or tempot be ten point.
- 24:16Speaker 2: Two because we gave it a go last year and
- 24:17Speaker 2: I was in the building ready to sign.
- 24:19Speaker 1: But Roger Goodell and Tom Brady inspired and I heard
- 24:22Speaker 1: about that about that.
- 24:23Speaker 2: You read the blog. Yeah, you should read the blog.
- 24:26Speaker 2: I'll shoot it to you. Yeah, thank you. It has
- 24:30Speaker 2: all the information that you need perfect. You do play
- 24:32Speaker 2: an Orthodox.
- 24:33Speaker 3: I do play an Orthodox, which again it's worked out
- 24:38Speaker 3: for me, and I'm not gonna be young forever. I'm
- 24:41Speaker 3: not gonna have this the athleticism forever. So trying to
- 24:45Speaker 3: transition to to being you know, the guy that wins
- 24:47Speaker 3: from within the pocket, and it'll take time. It's not
- 24:49Speaker 3: gonna be just this new guy overnight. But in the
- 24:53Speaker 3: off season it's like, get away, try not to do
- 24:57Speaker 3: as much, Like still throw a little bit, still work
- 24:59Speaker 3: out a little bit, and just to maintain weight is
- 25:01Speaker 3: really what I'm trying to do. But enjoy and relax.
- 25:05Speaker 3: Sometimes I think allowing my body to rest recover my strength.
- 25:09Speaker 3: Coaches are gonna hate that. I Then I'm gonna say this,
- 25:12Speaker 3: the last two off seasons, I haven't done really anything
- 25:15Speaker 3: and before OTAs and we have baseline tests in both years,
- 25:19Speaker 3: I've come back and I've tested way higher than I've
- 25:22Speaker 3: ever tested in my entire career.
- 25:25Speaker 1: So keep doing that.
- 25:27Speaker 3: You think taking time off place, I think again, there's
- 25:31Speaker 3: guys that that will be constantly working out and really
- 25:37Speaker 3: taking no time off.
- 25:39Speaker 1: And I fact those guys are always hurt.
- 25:42Speaker 3: You know, they're always dealing with like a soft tissue
- 25:44Speaker 3: or just like there's a lot of stuff. There's so
- 25:48Speaker 3: many different factors, but you hear it all the time.
- 25:50Speaker 3: You can't pull fat ye, staying a little a little
- 25:53Speaker 3: bit chunky and and getting back into shape. I think
- 25:58Speaker 3: that's uh, that's it's a good process for me. I
- 26:01Speaker 3: don't know if it's great for everybody, but I'm I'm
- 26:04Speaker 3: just he've been fed on what I've been trying to
- 26:06Speaker 3: tell people for years. Yeah, you gotta have some cushions,
- 26:10Speaker 3: probably especially in Buffalo, keeps you warm too.
- 26:12Speaker 4: Actually, practice though, do you guys feel like you maybe
- 26:14Speaker 4: practice too much?
- 26:15Speaker 1: Sometimes? Specifically let's talk.
- 26:17Speaker 4: I don't know, COVID year, COVID year, Tuesday night game, Yeah,
- 26:22Speaker 4: playing the Titans, you guys had to stay in shape.
- 26:23Speaker 1: Where we just went and you guys found out took
- 26:27Speaker 1: you to the backyard. I wish there was a team
- 26:29Speaker 1: that like the shed, Yeah, let him know you threw
- 26:32Speaker 1: a couple of picks in that game one.
- 26:34Speaker 2: It wasn't me, but I bet if I was out there,
- 26:35Speaker 2: it would have been me.
- 26:37Speaker 1: I would have.
- 26:40Speaker 5: Right there.
- 26:44Speaker 3: I wish there was a team that did some experimental
- 26:47Speaker 3: things like that were like we're not even gonna practice.
- 26:49Speaker 1: We did, boy, I know, I know, but.
- 26:52Speaker 3: Did that, but like for really like the entire season,
- 26:55Speaker 3: Like I went my practice this week. But we're gonna
- 26:57Speaker 3: take a couple of weeks off and send you your
- 26:59Speaker 3: your off. We'll do some zoom calls and we'll figure
- 27:02Speaker 3: it out on Sunday.
- 27:03Speaker 1: Wasn't that the most nut situation of all time?
- 27:06Speaker 3: Like we didn't know if we're playing tomorrow, we didn't
- 27:08Speaker 3: know if we're playing Sunday, we didn't know player Monday Tuesday,
- 27:10Speaker 3: Like it was so up in the air. And then
- 27:12Speaker 3: I think we had a Thursday night game the next week,
- 27:15Speaker 3: so that's why we had to get that switch from
- 27:18Speaker 3: Thursday to either Sunday or Monday. I don't I don't remember.
- 27:22Speaker 3: It's kind of a blur, Butts.
- 27:24Speaker 4: We were supposed to play the Steelers, like three days
- 27:27Speaker 4: before we played, y'all, They're like, all right, hey, game
- 27:29Speaker 4: plans out, We're playing the Bills now.
- 27:30Speaker 1: Yeah. And I remember, like we did one.
- 27:33Speaker 4: Walk through of that whole whatever eight nine days and
- 27:37Speaker 4: I'm literally thinking to myself, brother, we're gonna get blown
- 27:40Speaker 4: the fuck out.
- 27:40Speaker 1: Yeah. Location at the Bobby Hotel?
- 27:43Speaker 2: Yeah, did you really doing a couple of our meetings
- 27:46Speaker 2: like just at the Bobby.
- 27:48Speaker 4: Yeah, I'm like rolling out, just kind of hanging out
- 27:50Speaker 4: like man, are we even gonna fucking play these guys?
- 27:52Speaker 4: And then Tuesday night and man, you guys did not
- 27:55Speaker 4: answer the bell.
- 27:56Speaker 2: I remember being on the phone with Trim Murphy like, Hey,
- 27:57Speaker 2: what do you guys think? He said, Bro, we fucking
- 28:00Speaker 2: we were just running gassers at practice.
- 28:02Speaker 1: Nuts.
- 28:03Speaker 4: Yeah, so less, there's more is what you're saying. All
- 28:05Speaker 4: the kids out.
- 28:06Speaker 1: Here watching on the mat and no, no, no, hard focused.
- 28:10Speaker 2: On the Buffalo Bills do way too much.
- 28:16Speaker 1: No.
- 28:17Speaker 3: Now that I'm an established five year vets you'r six
- 28:21Speaker 3: for me that this is the process I found that
- 28:24Speaker 3: helps for me the most. Doesn't worry again, let's call
- 28:28Speaker 3: spade of spade. I'm I'm not everybody. Yeah, and you're
- 28:31Speaker 3: also borderline him comment that him comment, No, maybe have you.
- 28:39Speaker 1: In the super Bowl this year? Is that what him
- 28:42Speaker 1: think too? I think? Two? He's also quarterback. You are
- 28:45Speaker 1: physical specimen.
- 28:46Speaker 2: All this time you do all these theatrics, You're very
- 28:48Speaker 2: physical and everything else, but all the off season like
- 28:51Speaker 2: not doing anything else. I could work more in the
- 28:54Speaker 2: line of quarterback.
- 28:55Speaker 1: Yeah, this kind of like yeah, yeah, get.
- 28:58Speaker 3: Ready for us, Like it's all really meant Like you've
- 29:01Speaker 3: seen so many different quarterbacks and body types, like all
- 29:05Speaker 3: that matters is here up right, Like.
- 29:07Speaker 1: Well then here over too, oh yeah, here up, Yeah,
- 29:11Speaker 1: there you go. It'll be careful.
- 29:13Speaker 4: You gotta be careful. Gotta be careful. It's tough, man,
- 29:17Speaker 4: and there are some bad body ballers out there. Yeah,
- 29:19Speaker 4: but you, I mean, you don't look like it when
- 29:21Speaker 4: you have the especially with all whites.
- 29:23Speaker 1: Un just I get exposed with the all.
- 29:25Speaker 3: Wit once I go, once, I go back in, like
- 29:27Speaker 3: I work hard and I get back into shape real quick.
- 29:30Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 29:31Speaker 3: But like I I teeter around two forty two. That's
- 29:35Speaker 3: kind of my weight. That that's my fine weight, right,
- 29:37Speaker 3: two forty two, So I teeter for between two thirty
- 29:39Speaker 3: eight and two forty four, caetering, teetering.
- 29:43Speaker 4: What twenty five? I don't know if you'd be able
- 29:45Speaker 4: to handle that mass in the middle, brother four.
- 29:48Speaker 1: That's my target hunting weight, dude. That's why I fucking
- 29:52Speaker 1: seek out.
- 29:53Speaker 4: Oh yeah, you find it, you'd have no problem, no problem.
- 29:57Speaker 1: Over field, Josh, all in a little bit, what's that?
- 30:00Speaker 1: It's warman, the bus.
- 30:00Speaker 2: It's warm of the bus, don't I've been rocking this
- 30:03Speaker 2: as the boys know.
- 30:04Speaker 1: Like I'm gonna save you a little bit. Yeah, it does.
- 30:06Speaker 1: Like the cold brews.
- 30:08Speaker 2: I love them, but they make me antsy, Yeah, antsy,
- 30:12Speaker 2: they really do.
- 30:13Speaker 4: I'll come into a well, I'll go on the other
- 30:15Speaker 4: side of the bus sometimes and he's just kind of
- 30:17Speaker 4: pacing around walking.
- 30:18Speaker 1: I'm like, hey, boys, what is cold real?
- 30:21Speaker 2: I had to heat up my food one day and
- 30:23Speaker 2: I just stood and was just like looking out the
- 30:25Speaker 2: the warehouse, like I had to stand and eat and
- 30:27Speaker 2: kind of just walk around. Like there's so much going
- 30:29Speaker 2: on in my brain that I didn't know how to
- 30:31Speaker 2: like hone anything in. But anyway, that's why I'm sweating
- 30:34Speaker 2: working through it. You think I sweached you, brother, I'll
- 30:37Speaker 2: tell you what. Unfortunately, no, Lashawn McCoy got did a
- 30:43Speaker 2: little option out on our boy dB. dB should have
- 30:46Speaker 2: kept outside leverage because he had up on the inside
- 30:48Speaker 2: a little spin movement, a little spin move got shook
- 30:50Speaker 2: and then he got it on third down.
- 30:52Speaker 1: But if we if we went on third down, we
- 30:54Speaker 1: ultimately win that game. So technically we didn't.
- 30:57Speaker 4: Yeah, you guys didn't win that game with you scored
- 30:58Speaker 4: more points than us for sure, like Tuesday night, Yeah
- 31:02Speaker 4: yeah yeah.
- 31:02Speaker 2: But in my own personal journey, that should have been
- 31:06Speaker 2: when I was on the field. But the coaches wanted
- 31:08Speaker 2: a little more speed on the field. But you see
- 31:11Speaker 2: how that works out. You need a little bit more
- 31:12Speaker 2: i Q. You don't need all the speed in the world.
- 31:15Speaker 1: Who was the linebacker though that you're calling out here room,
- 31:17Speaker 1: Darren Bates, we can, we can have and we can. Yeah,
- 31:23Speaker 1: that's a will said.
- 31:24Speaker 2: He's even talked about it in that he's talked about
- 31:26Speaker 2: that game there say I should have been out there,
- 31:29Speaker 2: But brother, I should have been out there.
- 31:32Speaker 1: And then against the Chargers, you did bring up that
- 31:36Speaker 1: you should have been in there. No, that's when I
- 31:38Speaker 1: was on the couch just watching the game. But if
- 31:40Speaker 1: you were out there, I was yelling at the screen
- 31:42Speaker 1: for the coaches to get him.
- 31:43Speaker 2: Fucking This is exactly why you need to check rat
- 31:46Speaker 2: and not let your middle linebackers go out and cover
- 31:48Speaker 2: Austin Eckler one on one when he's the fucking one receiver.
- 31:51Speaker 2: I hate when decoordinators, you know, check check something. You
- 31:54Speaker 2: got to play to your guys strengths, play the strength. Yeah,
- 31:56Speaker 2: you gotta play their shrinks, but.
- 31:57Speaker 1: That if you're out there on Austin Eckler, you know
- 31:59Speaker 1: what we call that? What check? We would give house call.
- 32:03Speaker 1: Milk milk check. What's the milk check? That's pretty self expected.
- 32:11Speaker 1: I'm not ski I'm skimm bro skim milk milk. I'm skimmed.
- 32:15Speaker 2: Now.
- 32:15Speaker 1: I was whole, milk, you were whole. Yeah, I was whole,
- 32:18Speaker 1: But I've lost the three pounds.
- 32:19Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 32:19Speaker 2: He's a good, good kind of guy. But I love
- 32:22Speaker 2: that milk check. Milk will you milk be Hey, we
- 32:26Speaker 2: got white linebacker out there. We're going double move.
- 32:30Speaker 1: No, you have checks like that? Just look around in milk.
- 32:36Speaker 1: I'm trying to think of all his wording.
- 32:38Speaker 4: I think white guys don't belong in the NFL. Okay,
- 32:42Speaker 4: I'm just trying to get my bearings here. I mean,
- 32:45Speaker 4: I don't think so.
- 32:47Speaker 2: You guys got a stud. You guys got a stud
- 32:49Speaker 2: white on defense? Mad Yeah, who is it? Matt Milano.
- 32:55Speaker 1: But he's Italian. Yeah he's different. No, he's he's a
- 33:00Speaker 1: different He's not white. I'm saying that Matt is olive.
- 33:06Speaker 3: He is, he is olive. He's he's an impressive specimen too.
- 33:11Speaker 4: We're getting to the point here where we just kind
- 33:12Speaker 4: of leave the Caucasians in the trenches, just kind of
- 33:16Speaker 4: let him ride you know, let him get out there,
- 33:19Speaker 4: hard working, gritty.
- 33:21Speaker 2: It's an honor to be on the field and you're
- 33:23Speaker 2: like the only Caucasian out there.
- 33:25Speaker 1: It's got to be happened a lot more when you're
- 33:27Speaker 1: on defense.
- 33:28Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, and when it's like noticing the
- 33:30Speaker 2: boys are like hey, well you know, you're the only
- 33:31Speaker 2: white dude out here, and I'm like, trust me, I've
- 33:33Speaker 2: noticed the entire time.
- 33:35Speaker 4: Trust me, I've been waiting for somebody else for you
- 33:37Speaker 4: guys to man.
- 33:39Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 33:40Speaker 4: So yeah, Josh Allen doesn't like white guys on the field.
- 33:44Speaker 1: No, I love him actually easy. I get. I get
- 33:49Speaker 1: to give a milk check, ye, milk check. So you
- 33:53Speaker 1: guys really think he's just like milk milk? Is that
- 33:56Speaker 1: a real call? Milk? Is that a real call? Milk?
- 34:01Speaker 2: So it's gonna be a good time too, Like when
- 34:04Speaker 2: you're in the game plan and it's like, hey, if
- 34:06Speaker 2: we get this situation, everybody kind of smiles like milk, yeah,
- 34:09Speaker 2: milk check.
- 34:09Speaker 1: Yeah, you see it over there.
- 34:12Speaker 4: We'll just be watching from TV being like, yeah, yeah,
- 34:14Speaker 4: he actually just called the milk.
- 34:15Speaker 1: Check right there, being uh, well, let's talk about.
- 34:18Speaker 4: His ball security, okay, Is that something Rabel points out
- 34:21Speaker 4: every time we play.
- 34:23Speaker 1: I'm a big, big ball security guy.
- 34:24Speaker 4: Or have you ever been chewed out by your coaches
- 34:27Speaker 4: all the time, but you just choose not to.
- 34:32Speaker 2: He's like, my strength coaches are gonna hate that I
- 34:34Speaker 2: say this. He's like, now, my actual coaches are gonna
- 34:36Speaker 2: hate that I say this.
- 34:38Speaker 1: Yes, I need to be I need to be better
- 34:39Speaker 1: in that that area.
- 34:40Speaker 4: Why do you why do you think you don't just
- 34:42Speaker 4: tuck it high TI five points of pressure?
- 34:44Speaker 2: Do you feel more elusive that way? He doesn't like
- 34:47Speaker 2: anybody else's opinions. When I ticed away from his authenticity.
- 34:51Speaker 1: He's gonna do him. He's gonna match him and coaches
- 34:54Speaker 1: that's not really turned in a hurry.
- 34:58Speaker 3: When I tuck it, especially in the pocket, I can't
- 35:00Speaker 3: throw it right, so I have to keep it here.
- 35:03Speaker 4: So like what you roll out of the pocket, I do.
- 35:06Speaker 4: Do you know your stat's rolling out right to left?
- 35:08Speaker 4: Is it much different? Much different?
- 35:09Speaker 1: Okay?
- 35:10Speaker 4: Left worst I believe so, Yeah, if you roll out
- 35:12Speaker 4: to your left, it's not as good as rolling out
- 35:15Speaker 4: to your right.
- 35:16Speaker 1: Gotcha, that is a game plan against you.
- 35:18Speaker 7: By the way, I don't get the boy. You know
- 35:21Speaker 7: the boys we still need the boys to play with
- 35:23Speaker 7: them this year. Yeah, but if they do, yeah, because
- 35:26Speaker 7: that is a that is a nugget. That's a nugget that.
- 35:29Speaker 1: Oh no, I would, I was okay. I would just
- 35:36Speaker 1: look at it.
- 35:36Speaker 4: Your like, just the way coaches in the past. I'm
- 35:39Speaker 4: not gonna say what head coach I played for in
- 35:41Speaker 4: the NFL them he was all the time.
- 35:45Speaker 1: But everyone does.
- 35:46Speaker 2: When you're not directly on the team, Will does get
- 35:49Speaker 2: body bagged.
- 35:50Speaker 4: Yeah, he does get shot up quite a bit. When
- 35:53Speaker 4: you roll out. I can't remember if it's your right
- 35:55Speaker 4: or left. We roll out to your left. The it's
- 35:58Speaker 4: just not an ex play. Yeah, you're still making passes,
- 36:00Speaker 4: but when you're all to your right and I might
- 36:02Speaker 4: be mixing up the sides.
- 36:03Speaker 1: Yeah, no, my right, My right's much better than my left.
- 36:06Speaker 1: I know that. And that's I think that's true for
- 36:08Speaker 1: every quarterback, to be honest.
- 36:10Speaker 4: Do you think the teams notice that besides the Titans
- 36:12Speaker 4: and try to the left.
- 36:14Speaker 3: Yeah, I would say so. But I still get I
- 36:16Speaker 3: still get right. Sometimes he's like, I still get busy.
- 36:20Speaker 3: I mean, what was the final score of that game
- 36:21Speaker 3: lest year? Like forty one seven?
- 36:22Speaker 4: We don't it was bad. It was an absolute leudgeting.
- 36:27Speaker 4: By the way, let's give some flowers to Bill's Mafia. Yeah,
- 36:31Speaker 4: those those people the best. Yeah, twenty eighteen.
- 36:34Speaker 3: I got an argument with They're on the cover of
- 36:36Speaker 3: Matten twenty four if you didn't know.
- 36:37Speaker 1: That really, Yeah, you have the actual picture they're going
- 36:40Speaker 1: to use. That's the one we were talking about, was it.
- 36:42Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 36:42Speaker 1: Yeah, I thought he was going for the photo shoot today.
- 36:45Speaker 1: I think he's That was for like the TV spot
- 36:50Speaker 1: commercial deal. You got some good lines. No, I don't
- 36:54Speaker 1: say nothing. It was mean.
- 36:57Speaker 2: Look at the face mask on the right. Man, it's
- 37:02Speaker 2: Bill's Mafia in the middle. That's legit Bills Mafia too.
- 37:05Speaker 1: They were in l A. Is it terrifying for you
- 37:07Speaker 1: to go out in Buffalo you get hounded?
- 37:12Speaker 2: Is it terrifying? What for him to go out around Buffalo? Yeah,
- 37:16Speaker 2: because it's like a small town. I mean, what is
- 37:18Speaker 2: a wing or two?
- 37:19Speaker 1: And that's it a whole lot.
- 37:22Speaker 3: Sometimes but it's all out of like good places in
- 37:27Speaker 3: people's hearts, right, Like they just want to say hi,
- 37:29Speaker 3: they want to say go Bills. I don't go out
- 37:32Speaker 3: too often. They only like, I'll go to dinners every
- 37:34Speaker 3: once in a while. But other than that, I stay home.
- 37:37Speaker 1: It's got to be a good place not to get
- 37:38Speaker 1: in trouble.
- 37:39Speaker 3: Yes, yeah, yeah, and I I like to have the
- 37:42Speaker 3: guys over to the house so they don't find trouble elsewhere.
- 37:46Speaker 3: If you're gonna get in trouble, you can stay here.
- 37:49Speaker 3: You can have a good time. Right yeah, hits the simulator,
- 37:52Speaker 3: and just don't take anything from the top shelf please
- 37:56Speaker 3: without telling me.
- 37:58Speaker 1: I love that rule.
- 38:00Speaker 2: Don't take anything from the top shelf without really the
- 38:02Speaker 2: top right shelf.
- 38:03Speaker 1: That's that's my my brown water.
- 38:06Speaker 3: What are your favorites? I'm a pappy guy. I'm I'm
- 38:10Speaker 3: I got a few Pappy's. I got a Mictor's, a
- 38:13Speaker 3: couple of mixers twenty years which are great. But if
- 38:15Speaker 3: I'm just drinking like Mictor's ten uere some whaler I got,
- 38:20Speaker 3: I have really good brown water. What you like if
- 38:24Speaker 3: I could call it brown water? What's your favorite go to?
- 38:26Speaker 3: Just casual?
- 38:28Speaker 1: Like the thing you want to ask for whether you
- 38:30Speaker 1: at somebody's house, like do you have this? You go
- 38:35Speaker 1: to a bar?
- 38:37Speaker 3: Well, if I'm like if I'm if I'm at dinner,
- 38:39Speaker 3: if i'd like say it's an old fashion. Note it's
- 38:41Speaker 3: an old fashion, but it's like for uh Woodford, you know,
- 38:44Speaker 3: Woodford reserved. Starting there, it's fine.
- 38:46Speaker 1: Heikes man.
- 38:47Speaker 2: Yeah, well yeah, I mean that's I would have thought
- 38:50Speaker 2: maybe something a little higher priced, but Woodford is Woodford
- 38:53Speaker 2: is fire in the Woodford world. I liked their rye.
- 38:57Speaker 2: I also like angels Envy Rye. That's my actual favorite. Yes,
- 39:00Speaker 2: Like if you buy a bottle like the angels Envy
- 39:03Speaker 2: Rye that green because they have a bourbon and then
- 39:06Speaker 2: they have a rye and that they uh it comes
- 39:09Speaker 2: out of a Caribbean rum cask, so you get that
- 39:12Speaker 2: little carameli caribbean flavor, that little rum flavor in there.
- 39:15Speaker 1: It's my favorite whiskey.
- 39:17Speaker 3: Pappy makes a tequila too, if you didn't know that,
- 39:20Speaker 3: I did not know that. Corzone hoar Zone Corizone tequila.
- 39:24Speaker 1: Guy Taylor's a big tequila guys.
- 39:26Speaker 3: Bottled in Buffalo Trace barrels. It's actually really good. It's
- 39:30Speaker 3: a smoky flavor. It does almost like a mess cow,
- 39:34Speaker 3: not as harsh. Yeah, I am not a mess now guy.
- 39:37Speaker 1: I'd see I'm a mes cow guy. I like it.
- 39:39Speaker 1: I can't do it.
- 39:40Speaker 2: I smoking it's not good because I always hated tequila.
- 39:43Speaker 2: Like you know, everybody's got their bad party experience with
- 39:46Speaker 2: the yacking. Mine happened to be tequila. So I didn't
- 39:49Speaker 2: like tequila for the longest. I've been coming around recently,
- 39:51Speaker 2: but the fact I got back into it because mescal,
- 39:54Speaker 2: that's smoky flavor.
- 39:55Speaker 1: Because I'm more of a whiskey guy too.
- 39:56Speaker 2: Your first time throwing up was tequila, Like not like
- 39:59Speaker 2: first I'm throwing up, but like big moment of like,
- 40:02Speaker 2: you know, this tasted awful, and then it came up
- 40:04Speaker 2: and I was at a wedding and got half in
- 40:06Speaker 2: the trash can, half on the bar, and nobody saw.
- 40:08Speaker 2: I turned around and walked off. But from that moment
- 40:10Speaker 2: it like it was like that time where you just
- 40:12Speaker 2: had that that connection. Anytime I smelt it, it was
- 40:15Speaker 2: like I'm about to be sick. I hated to fuck
- 40:19Speaker 2: with tequila. Gegr body backed me in high school at time. Yeah,
- 40:23Speaker 2: and I have literally unless it's a vegas bomb. I
- 40:25Speaker 2: don't really do veggest bombs anymore, but in college I
- 40:28Speaker 2: would do those. Yeah, what was your.
- 40:33Speaker 1: Love? Morgan? In college loved it. The pirate on there
- 40:37Speaker 1: got me hyped up. You threw up. Oh yeah, what
- 40:40Speaker 1: was the situation? High school party? It's actually no first
- 40:43Speaker 1: year in college of age. Nice.
- 40:50Speaker 3: It was me and my I was with four other
- 40:52Speaker 3: roommates and we between five of us finished a handle
- 40:56Speaker 3: and it was downhill from there. And so since then,
- 40:59Speaker 3: you don't even want to look at Captain Moore, don't
- 41:01Speaker 3: even don't even look at it.
- 41:02Speaker 1: Yeah, but also, yeah, the cheaper bottle of rum for sure.
- 41:07Speaker 1: For sure college. Yeah, but I'm saying now, yeah to
- 41:12Speaker 1: Captain Morton.
- 41:13Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, that was like that with vodka for a
- 41:15Speaker 3: while and finally started to turn the leaf on vodka.
- 41:18Speaker 1: Yeah, you're a big golf guy. Huge before I gotta
- 41:21Speaker 1: go see my daughter. The doctor's born right now, all right,
- 41:28Speaker 1: by the way, you see that he's got some handshakes.
- 41:31Speaker 1: Now that's gotta be insane. I remember all those things. Oh,
- 41:34Speaker 1: you can go to the big dog seat. Yeah, you're done.
- 41:40Speaker 2: Milk, milk, milk. I'm seeing a little bit, big golf guy.
- 41:50Speaker 2: What's been your favorite place to play recently? Poopy Mask Club?
- 41:55Speaker 2: Where's that at? Give me some context, Gartten. We got
- 41:57Speaker 2: some golfers back there, but I'm not as much in Georgia.
- 42:00Speaker 1: Middle of nowhere.
- 42:03Speaker 3: Little like it's off dirt roads, the coolest like boys
- 42:09Speaker 3: trip you can ever take.
- 42:11Speaker 2: You do an annual boys trip with it? Or is
- 42:13Speaker 2: this something you play at one time.
- 42:15Speaker 3: To do it the last like I've got I've gone
- 42:17Speaker 3: there twice in the last two months.
- 42:20Speaker 1: It's really cool. Yeah.
- 42:21Speaker 3: Yeah, Like you're like they've got putting greens at night,
- 42:24Speaker 3: you can turn the lights on and just hang out
- 42:26Speaker 3: there for hours and just top crap and bet and
- 42:30Speaker 3: just have a good time. Of course itself. It's got
- 42:33Speaker 3: twenty two holes, it's got the best jerky you'll ever
- 42:38Speaker 3: eat in your entire life.
- 42:39Speaker 1: Like it is.
- 42:40Speaker 3: It is awesome, and it's like walking only the caddies
- 42:43Speaker 3: have little speakers at the carry and it's just it's
- 42:45Speaker 3: just a blast.
- 42:46Speaker 2: What are a couple of like the coolest things you've
- 42:48Speaker 2: got to do in your spot that you've had access to,
- 42:52Speaker 2: you know, within like you know since the rise, within
- 42:54Speaker 2: the last two or three years, like you like, fuck,
- 43:00Speaker 2: I can't believe I'm like getting to do this.
- 43:02Speaker 3: Well, there's a couple courses that I've played that are
- 43:06Speaker 3: whether it's golf or anything else, probably golf. I mean,
- 43:09Speaker 3: it's just it. It my life in the off season
- 43:12Speaker 3: kind of revolves around it. Like I just I love it,
- 43:16Speaker 3: but just the opportunity to one go to like these
- 43:18Speaker 3: golf tournaments. I had the PGA Championship in Oak Hill
- 43:22Speaker 3: in May, which is an hour and a half from Buffalo,
- 43:26Speaker 3: and it's like five minutes from where we trained at
- 43:29Speaker 3: an offseat or for a training camp Saint John Fisher.
- 43:32Speaker 3: But like to walk through there and like actually, like
- 43:35Speaker 3: they just grab us a cart and they drive us
- 43:36Speaker 3: straight to the fifteenth la there when we sit out
- 43:38Speaker 3: there with me and my boys, it's my birthday weekend too,
- 43:41Speaker 3: so it was like it was a fun time. Yeah,
- 43:44Speaker 3: but just like it is still surreal to me that
- 43:48Speaker 3: because I play a game of football that I'm allowed
- 43:49Speaker 3: to go and experience all these cool opportunities and experiences.
- 43:54Speaker 2: What like when you say your off season kind of
- 43:56Speaker 2: revolves around golf, Like when the off season hits, you
- 43:58Speaker 2: kind of have a schedule, like the golfing schedule going
- 44:01Speaker 2: on to be like all right, we're gonna go here, here, here.
- 44:03Speaker 2: You kind of have that mapped out beforehand. Yeah, but
- 44:06Speaker 2: like as moments come up, you're like, all right, let's
- 44:07Speaker 2: the first thing that's said is when is the Masters. Yeah,
- 44:13Speaker 2: you know, like, yeah, I have to wrap it. That's
- 44:15Speaker 2: like the number one thing. All right, What when am
- 44:18Speaker 2: I getting there? How long am I staying there?
- 44:20Speaker 1: Right?
- 44:20Speaker 3: Like, that's the first trip that I plan out. Yeah,
- 44:23Speaker 3: it's usually uh at first or second week of April.
- 44:27Speaker 1: It's the best. Who's your favorite? Who are your favorite
- 44:29Speaker 1: golfers right now? Yeah? Give me three, not an including Tiger.
- 44:35Speaker 1: That's that's that's my num. This isn't like a ranking either,
- 44:38Speaker 1: Like what are three?
- 44:38Speaker 5: Who are three of your favorite guys that you just.
- 44:44Speaker 1: Fucking root board? Yeah? I root for Ricky.
- 44:46Speaker 3: I was rooting for him hard this weekend. Justin Thomas
- 44:52Speaker 3: is up there, I'd go one more. Oh, Keith Mitchell,
- 44:59Speaker 3: it's my guy.
- 45:00Speaker 2: Okay, yeah, yeah it's Cashmere Keith baby garifired up.
- 45:05Speaker 1: Notice that you watch them? Yeah? Yeah, no, I saw
- 45:11Speaker 1: him at Riviera's falling around on Sunday.
- 45:14Speaker 3: At L A c C. That's what It's really cool.
- 45:17Speaker 3: I've three for three this year at the Major's. I've
- 45:19Speaker 3: been able to play the Monday after. I think that's
- 45:21Speaker 3: my number one thing I've gotten to experience.
- 45:24Speaker 1: You've gotten to play the day after the.
- 45:26Speaker 3: Four conditions at Augusta Oakhill in L A C C.
- 45:31Speaker 1: Damn, that is sick. What do you think about all this? Uh?
- 45:33Speaker 1: What do you think about all the PJA Live stuff?
- 45:37Speaker 1: I don't know enough to give like a comp right answer.
- 45:41Speaker 2: I'm just talking about you scrolling like doing all this.
- 45:44Speaker 2: I will say that.
- 45:48Speaker 3: The guys that went with Live right, they someone got
- 45:52Speaker 3: the bag, which for them, you know, I'm never gonna
- 45:54Speaker 3: say no to that. I don't like how some guys
- 45:58Speaker 3: are saying that if they want back in the PGA,
- 46:00Speaker 3: they're gonna have to pay a fine.
- 46:01Speaker 1: If they want back in the PGA, then they're going
- 46:03Speaker 1: to have a fine, you see that.
- 46:05Speaker 3: So like if they wanted to get back on the
- 46:06Speaker 3: pg Tour, some of these love guys, they would have
- 46:09Speaker 3: to pay a hefty fine to basically clear their name
- 46:12Speaker 3: and allow them to go play in the PGA Tour events,
- 46:18Speaker 3: which I don't agree with. They they took the chance
- 46:20Speaker 3: by going over to Live of never playing again, and
- 46:22Speaker 3: then the whole merger happens, which I don't know if
- 46:25Speaker 3: it's a natural merger. I don't know if that's completely
- 46:27Speaker 3: done yet. But there were some guys saying they've got
- 46:31Speaker 3: to pay a fine to get back into whether it's
- 46:33Speaker 3: the DP Tour or the PG.
- 46:36Speaker 2: Yeah, because there's a lot of juicy drama in the
- 46:38Speaker 2: golf world. I don't follow that like that closely. But
- 46:41Speaker 2: obviously when the merger or whatever was happening that day,
- 46:44Speaker 2: that was obviously a massive headline. Another question, but on
- 46:48Speaker 2: the opposite end being you, like, what have been some
- 46:52Speaker 2: of the cons of everybody wanting your attention all the time?
- 46:55Speaker 2: Obviously you know, busting with the boys, but everybody wanting
- 46:58Speaker 2: you to come to their events and every everything else, Like, oh,
- 47:01Speaker 2: would have been somebody like that?
- 47:03Speaker 1: You know? Yeah, I guess the cons of being in
- 47:06Speaker 1: the spots are in.
- 47:07Speaker 3: I'd say it's more like, because I'm a homebody, I
- 47:12Speaker 3: don't like going out too much. My sister's wedding and
- 47:17Speaker 3: I was like, it's her day, and I felt like
- 47:20Speaker 3: I was getting bombarded by people at her wedding, which
- 47:24Speaker 3: I knew some of them, I didn't know all that
- 47:26Speaker 3: well because I was her wedding was she had a
- 47:28Speaker 3: she had a large wedding, and I felt so bad
- 47:31Speaker 3: because I thought like it was distracting for her, you know,
- 47:33Speaker 3: and it was like everybody's here for her, but I
- 47:36Speaker 3: was getting a lot of attention from people that I like,
- 47:38Speaker 3: I grew up around and I knew, and like it
- 47:41Speaker 3: became a little bit too much and I was like,
- 47:43Speaker 3: I need to get out of here. I need like
- 47:45Speaker 3: So that that one was a hard one for me
- 47:47Speaker 3: when I was just like I didn't want I didn't
- 47:49Speaker 3: want that, you know, I didn't want anybody having to
- 47:54Speaker 3: pull anybody away from me or didn't have to, Like
- 47:56Speaker 3: I didn't want to feel like that at her wedding
- 47:57Speaker 3: because I just wanted to be there for her. Yeah,
- 48:00Speaker 3: So that one was tough. Other than that, like I
- 48:03Speaker 3: get it, like I'm the guy that I want wanted
- 48:06Speaker 3: to be as a kid, like the professional quarterback. I
- 48:10Speaker 3: didn't really understand maybe what came along with it all
- 48:13Speaker 3: that all that much. But again I made my bed
- 48:16Speaker 3: if that's what I gotta do. On the other like,
- 48:19Speaker 3: if those are the cons, I'll take those cons, you know,
- 48:22Speaker 3: with the with the pros that come with it in
- 48:24Speaker 3: the day.
- 48:24Speaker 1: Of the week.
- 48:24Speaker 2: So you got a squad like c A to kind
- 48:26Speaker 2: of help exactly schedule all those things.
- 48:29Speaker 3: Say, no, it's the first off season I've had like
- 48:33Speaker 3: the legit calendar where I can pull it up like
- 48:35Speaker 3: the Google cal on my phone and be like I
- 48:37Speaker 3: know exactly where I'm supposed to be at exact what,
- 48:39Speaker 3: exact time. So like that's made my life like more easy,
- 48:44Speaker 3: if that makes sense. It's like I don't have to
- 48:45Speaker 3: stress about because I I used to be like, what
- 48:47Speaker 3: are you doing this week? And Josh like, I don't know, ye,
- 48:50Speaker 3: what are you doing today?
- 48:51Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 48:51Speaker 3: I wake up and I'll figure it out. You know,
- 48:55Speaker 3: by the way, you gotta you gotta shoot tomorrow. You
- 48:57Speaker 3: know they're coming to pick you up at eight o'clock.
- 48:58Speaker 3: Ship you know, so I forgot I say, yes, exactly.
- 49:01Speaker 1: Yeah. So do you make it back home a lot? Like?
- 49:04Speaker 1: Do you get back home a lot? Did you used
- 49:05Speaker 1: to compared to now? Or No?
- 49:07Speaker 3: Not not that much. I'd like to because there's some
- 49:12Speaker 3: food in my hometown that is like killer. So every
- 49:15Speaker 3: time I go up there, like I go to the
- 49:17Speaker 3: same spot like two or three times, if I'm there
- 49:18Speaker 3: for three days, I go there every day.
- 49:20Speaker 1: Yeah, fire of a restaurant. It's it's super original name.
- 49:23Speaker 1: Which restaurant called Fireball restaurant. Fireball Restaurant.
- 49:27Speaker 2: It's the best Mexican food, not the fireball restaurant, shout
- 49:30Speaker 2: out fire restaurant. What are a couple opportunities that you've
- 49:34Speaker 2: had to turn down because of scheduling conflicts or having
- 49:37Speaker 2: to be some more mandatory and you're like, man, I
- 49:40Speaker 2: got fomo missing out on that, or it would have
- 49:42Speaker 2: been cool to go to that.
- 49:50Speaker 3: Right now, I don't know if I could think of one,
- 49:52Speaker 3: because I'm I can't think that far in the past. Really, Yeah,
- 49:56Speaker 3: but I will say this, I'm in the season of
- 49:58Speaker 3: yes right now, So if I get asked to go
- 50:00Speaker 3: somewhere cool, it's like, yeah, yeah, I'll go.
- 50:02Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 50:03Speaker 3: So it's like it's been it's been a fun offseason.
- 50:09Speaker 3: Just a couple of golf trips that I was like,
- 50:10Speaker 3: I probably should have went on that.
- 50:12Speaker 2: Yeah, big golf guy, big golf guy, big golf guy.
- 50:15Speaker 1: You see out of trouble, you know, do you go
- 50:17Speaker 1: out to the one that tournament in Tahoe? Is that
- 50:19Speaker 1: what it is?
- 50:20Speaker 2: Yeah, we're all the it feels it's Is it a
- 50:22Speaker 2: lot of players and celebrities? Is that like a big
- 50:24Speaker 2: celebrity tournament? Because I see McAfee he's on the simulator
- 50:27Speaker 2: right now training for it.
- 50:31Speaker 1: When is that lie?
- 50:34Speaker 3: I'm going the eleventh through the sixteenth, but that's the fourteenth, fifteen, sixteenth.
- 50:37Speaker 1: That seems like a fun time. It seems like everybody
- 50:39Speaker 1: has a blast out.
- 50:40Speaker 2: There Are there any things that you would like to
- 50:45Speaker 2: do in the in the future, So say, like we
- 50:49Speaker 2: had Travis on yesterday, he got the host SNL. He
- 50:52Speaker 2: wants to be in, like, you know, hit a movie
- 50:54Speaker 2: one day, like be like an actor, but not like
- 50:57Speaker 2: a he wants to be in like a comedy. Yeah,
- 50:59Speaker 2: he would love to like making appearance in a comedy
- 51:01Speaker 2: or play a role in comedy. Are there any things
- 51:03Speaker 2: that you would like to do outside of being a
- 51:06Speaker 2: quarterback in Golfer?
- 51:07Speaker 3: I like, I think about this all the time, like
- 51:10Speaker 3: after especially after I'm done playing, which hopefully isn't for
- 51:13Speaker 3: another you know, fifteen, ten to fifteen years, whatever it is.
- 51:17Speaker 3: I kind of want to do the Tim Duncan route.
- 51:19Speaker 3: It's gonna disappear, like I don't want to. I don't
- 51:22Speaker 3: want to be too much in the spotlight, like I I,
- 51:24Speaker 3: like I said, I'm a homebody, but like, traveling is
- 51:27Speaker 3: one thing I definitely want to do. I've I've only
- 51:29Speaker 3: been across the pond once, but I went to Monico
- 51:33Speaker 3: for the Grand Prix a couple of years ago, which
- 51:35Speaker 3: was really really freaking cool when I was there for
- 51:38Speaker 3: two and a half three days and then bounced right
- 51:39Speaker 3: back to Buffalo. I haven't spent much time, and like,
- 51:42Speaker 3: I want to go to Ireland in Scotland, play some
- 51:43Speaker 3: golf courses there.
- 51:46Speaker 1: Uh.
- 51:46Speaker 2: I really want to go to Japan. Never been there before.
- 51:50Speaker 2: The food okay, yeah, I'm a big sushi guy.
- 51:53Speaker 1: Nice.
- 51:54Speaker 3: Yeah, and I like the architecture there is really cool.
- 51:56Speaker 3: It seems super futuristic, like with the technology that they got.
- 51:59Speaker 1: So I think that'd betty cool too. Yeah. Play all
- 52:02Speaker 1: the international golf courses.
- 52:04Speaker 3: Yeah, so I've I've vowed to myself again. Then we've
- 52:08Speaker 3: got another golf comment too that I'm going to play
- 52:10Speaker 3: the top one hundred.
- 52:11Speaker 1: Courses in the world. Okay, and I got ten down.
- 52:15Speaker 3: I got ten down, and then like they're yeah, so
- 52:18Speaker 3: like you could do like one of the Hampton's trip
- 52:20Speaker 3: and knock out another three or four like so, but
- 52:24Speaker 3: Australia sneaky good golf. There's like five or six on
- 52:28Speaker 3: the top one hundred, So if you make a trip
- 52:30Speaker 3: out there, like I'd probably spend two or three weeks
- 52:33Speaker 3: out there and just try to go to all of them,
- 52:34Speaker 3: knock them all out. And my brother in laws from Australia. Yeah,
- 52:37Speaker 3: old coast, so I gotta get out.
- 52:39Speaker 2: You get the accent, super thick love that, yeah, super
- 52:42Speaker 2: love to have a conversation with.
- 52:43Speaker 3: When he gets When he gets drunk, you cannot understand him, sorry, Brandon.
- 52:47Speaker 3: When he's not drunk, it's like, yeah, like we've asked,
- 52:50Speaker 3: Like he's starting to get a little more clear. Yeah, talks,
- 52:53Speaker 3: but like there's been some many like what'd you say?
- 52:56Speaker 3: And he gets kind of frustrated because after the third
- 52:57Speaker 3: like I I can't understand.
- 52:59Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, anybody got any questions in the back?
- 53:04Speaker 1: I got one. Uh.
- 53:06Speaker 5: In Buffalo, a lot of people are on the blue
- 53:09Speaker 5: cheese over ranch with wings.
- 53:12Speaker 1: Are you on that? Where do you stand on blue
- 53:14Speaker 1: cheese and ranch for wings?
- 53:15Speaker 2: Blue cheese in Buffalo is different. It's blue cheese is him?
- 53:22Speaker 3: Blue cheese is him in Buffalo, Like it's not even close,
- 53:25Speaker 3: Like the there's what do you mean?
- 53:26Speaker 1: In Buffalo? It's brother. Blue cheese is garbage. No, it's not. No,
- 53:36Speaker 1: blue cheese is fantastic.
- 53:37Speaker 2: Josh Allen dramatically least bust went the Boys trailer over
- 53:40Speaker 2: blue cheese ranch debate.
- 53:43Speaker 1: It's not even close. So you're a blue cheese over
- 53:45Speaker 1: ranch guy. I gotta defend my guy here. I'm from
- 53:50Speaker 1: upstate New York too. Even you just got here.
- 53:52Speaker 3: Hey, it's like made in house, like it's fresh and screamy.
- 53:57Speaker 3: It's really good.
- 54:00Speaker 6: And it's I mean, it goes perfect with wings.
- 54:05Speaker 1: You've put a lot worse things in your mouth. I know,
- 54:07Speaker 1: I know that pause. Steven, you got anything? I do
- 54:13Speaker 1: know you are, you were.
- 54:14Speaker 6: I'm representing Bill's mafia, so I'm just along for the
- 54:17Speaker 6: ride here, you have any The golf stuff was like awesome.
- 54:20Speaker 6: I mean the Old Kill stuff so like I used
- 54:22Speaker 6: to work in Rochester, so I knew the course you'd
- 54:25Speaker 6: go up and you know, Junior Turnams all the rest
- 54:28Speaker 6: of it. So like I can't imagine getting to watch
- 54:29Speaker 6: the pros on that course. And then, I mean we
- 54:32Speaker 6: used to hear stories of Eric Wood and uh and
- 54:36Speaker 6: all the guys just before your generation going to Old
- 54:39Speaker 6: Kill right before training kids. Buffalo teams easy well, I
- 54:43Speaker 6: mean listen, I covered some of those teams. Kyle Williams
- 54:46Speaker 6: was the man back then. But I used to hear golfer.
- 54:48Speaker 6: That's what I used to hear is like he and
- 54:49Speaker 6: Eric were like sticks back in the day.
- 54:51Speaker 3: Canus to say something, I'm gonna do a slight flex? Okay,
- 54:55Speaker 3: last year I played at the American Century with Kyle.
- 54:58Speaker 1: I beat him.
- 54:59Speaker 2: That's that's a that's a that's a flex because he's
- 55:02Speaker 2: a study. He's a stud. He had a bad day
- 55:04Speaker 2: and I had a good day. And that's what it took.
- 55:06Speaker 2: But I went e t he went eighty three, and
- 55:09Speaker 2: he almost won it the year before. And I've never
- 55:11Speaker 2: never even sniffed like the top fifty, so nice.
- 55:14Speaker 1: I went out there beat him and he was pissed.
- 55:16Speaker 2: Do you guys have any plan Are there any planned
- 55:19Speaker 2: golf events for you?
- 55:20Speaker 1: Know how you?
- 55:21Speaker 2: Last year it was U, it was you and Pat
- 55:23Speaker 2: versus Aaron and Tom. Right, do you guys have Do
- 55:26Speaker 2: you have anything playing this year?
- 55:27Speaker 1: No? Not this year? The matches Paton Travis versus Stephan
- 55:32Speaker 1: Clay mm hmm. Do you feel slighted?
- 55:36Speaker 5: No?
- 55:37Speaker 2: Right?
- 55:40Speaker 1: Uh, twisted question? Do we gotta bring that up? Shoot?
- 55:45Speaker 2: I gotta I got two quick questions. Are you playing
- 55:47Speaker 2: in Lake Tahoe this year? Do you know who you're partnered?
- 55:50Speaker 2: With no no yet. We'll find out literally the day
- 55:53Speaker 2: we get there. Who do you hope you're partnered with?
- 55:55Speaker 2: Who are a couple of guys you'd love to be
- 55:57Speaker 2: partnered with.
- 55:58Speaker 3: I did love playing with Kyle Williams last year because
- 56:01Speaker 3: he obviously I was with him for my first year
- 56:03Speaker 3: in Buffalo, really really good dude. I played with Patt
- 56:08Speaker 3: and Travis last year, which is a blast. Travis is
- 56:11Speaker 3: a fun time to be around.
- 56:13Speaker 1: Yeah, you just tell me. He's got that energy, he's
- 56:15Speaker 1: got the vibe.
- 56:15Speaker 3: Yes, you can feel it. You can feel it, and
- 56:17Speaker 3: he likes to have a good time. Playing with Aaron
- 56:20Speaker 3: would be cool. I like, Aaron, would you rather play
- 56:25Speaker 3: with someone not in your profession?
- 56:28Speaker 1: So?
- 56:28Speaker 3: I played with Joe Mauer a couple of years ago,
- 56:31Speaker 3: the Catcher. That was really funn he was a really
- 56:33Speaker 3: good dude, and uh.
- 56:36Speaker 1: I played with Who else did I play with?
- 56:40Speaker 3: It was a I'm not even gonna try to name
- 56:42Speaker 3: the name because now I'm gonna feel bad. But I
- 56:45Speaker 3: do like meeting new guys, And yeah, that'd be fun too.
- 56:50Speaker 3: What's your handicap?
- 56:51Speaker 1: I'm at a seven right now. We would have a
- 56:53Speaker 1: good time. Yeah, Okay, what's yours G seven. Oh you's
- 56:58Speaker 1: got a little stroke on him. Now, both on the
- 57:02Speaker 1: course of.
- 57:05Speaker 2: This story the time of damn busters, I don't know
- 57:07Speaker 2: what you're talking about.
- 57:10Speaker 1: This is this is years ago, but this is years ago.
- 57:19Speaker 1: It's not a good question because I left before the festivity.
- 57:23Speaker 2: Like damn, what could be a good question because obviously
- 57:26Speaker 2: we can edit this up because I'm trying to think of, like,
- 57:28Speaker 2: you know, anytime you're like, do you have a great
- 57:30Speaker 2: locker room story, like a fucking one that people don't
- 57:33Speaker 2: know about her? It's just gonna be all time where
- 57:36Speaker 2: you're sitting around a you know, a thrill one day.
- 57:44Speaker 1: I mean, there's a couple, but I won't say.
- 57:46Speaker 2: That's what I'm saying, Like I you know some that
- 57:48Speaker 2: would be like appropriate, but that's also inappropriate, but something
- 57:53Speaker 2: that you know, it's digestible. Yeah, touches the line a
- 57:55Speaker 2: little bit. Do I pee in the pool? Absolutely not?
- 57:59Speaker 3: Well, okay, okay, hold up, depends what type of pool,
- 58:05Speaker 3: in whose pool it is you gotta pull?
- 58:08Speaker 5: If you have a pull in your backyard, you got
- 58:09Speaker 5: people over, Are you gonna pee in the pool?
- 58:11Speaker 1: No?
- 58:11Speaker 3: I'm I will be no pun intended, pissed if people
- 58:15Speaker 3: pissing my pool.
- 58:17Speaker 1: Then you know, I don't I expect an invitation, but
- 58:20Speaker 1: you'll be upset with me. All right, then you're not
- 58:23Speaker 1: I'm coming home, you know, no, no. But if I'm
- 58:27Speaker 1: in a like I grew up swimming and like competitively
- 58:31Speaker 1: in like huge public pools, and sometimes you're in a
- 58:34Speaker 1: long race, it's like you gotta go, man, So that
- 58:38Speaker 1: when you're like in the middle of a big race. Sure, yeah,
- 58:42Speaker 1: and that's okay, I think. So nobody else is.
- 58:44Speaker 3: Coming right with water though volume of water, you know,
- 58:47Speaker 3: like you're into water ratio, it stays under and those
- 58:51Speaker 3: pools are so heavily coordinated it doesn't matter. Mine's a
- 58:54Speaker 3: nice salt water pool that doesn't have much chlordine in it,
- 58:56Speaker 3: and you got to keep it nice so you.
- 58:58Speaker 1: Don't pee in the hot, hot, and cold tubs? That
- 59:01Speaker 1: do you You've peed not in cold tubs?
- 59:04Speaker 2: Yeah, no, yeah, yeah, I promise. Why would I lie
- 59:07Speaker 2: to you? That's disturbing, will Bro. It's filled with high
- 59:12Speaker 2: levels of chlorine and chemicals. That's way worse for us
- 59:15Speaker 2: than you know, a little bit of urine. That's a
- 59:18Speaker 2: psychopath mentality right there. You know that, No, Bro, you
- 59:22Speaker 2: never just you know, that's a tiny little pool.
- 59:25Speaker 1: But urine is used to clean things.
- 59:28Speaker 5: Yeah, man, it's like, yeah, some could argue that it
- 59:31Speaker 5: is should be in like the medicine field.
- 59:33Speaker 1: We should be peeing on more things. Are you drinking
- 59:36Speaker 1: your own pea if I need to?
- 59:39Speaker 5: Yeah, you get stung by a jellyfish.
- 59:44Speaker 1: I can't give you that one.
- 59:45Speaker 2: I know, Like there's no question that some of the
- 59:48Speaker 2: boys ped like why you're in I'm sure they have,
- 59:51Speaker 2: but I'm surprised you never have in the hot tub,
- 59:53Speaker 2: like once you get in and you know, you get
- 59:55Speaker 2: the whirlpools, the little single whirlpools. Oh, the metal got
- 59:59Speaker 2: you smart? So that is a smart move. That is
- 1:00:02Speaker 2: a smart move. Do you have a story? Maybe off
- 1:00:10Speaker 2: the bus? Maybe off the bus?
- 1:00:15Speaker 5: I will and you plug like you're one of the few,
- 1:00:19Speaker 5: like star quarterbacks that comes to tight end you. Like,
- 1:00:22Speaker 5: what kind of makes you want to come to the event?
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: Hell?
- 1:00:28Speaker 2: Yeah, JP, because I'll get tang with the boys. I
- 1:00:34Speaker 2: love George, I love Travis.
- 1:00:37Speaker 3: George asked me, I think the first two years that
- 1:00:39Speaker 3: he had it and I didn't come, and then last
- 1:00:42Speaker 3: year he asked me, Kim is like like I litterally
- 1:00:45Speaker 3: go out there and throw the ball like they're running
- 1:00:47Speaker 3: like little five year od routs and I just do
- 1:00:49Speaker 3: this right, so it's it's easy work for me. I
- 1:00:51Speaker 3: still get to get some thrown in octually. I got Dalton,
- 1:00:55Speaker 3: I got Dawson Dalton and Quintin Morris here this year,
- 1:00:59Speaker 3: so three of my tight ends in Buffalo. Which to
- 1:01:02Speaker 3: be able to sit there and listen to some of
- 1:01:03Speaker 3: the best guys in the league talk about different releases
- 1:01:07Speaker 3: and the intricacies of playing tight end. I think that's
- 1:01:10Speaker 3: fun to fun to do. And then yeah, it's singing
- 1:01:14Speaker 3: with the boys.
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: Love that. Man. We appreciate your time, like we'll all
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: be a tight end you today. I don't know what
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: all you have, but thanks for coming on the bus. Man.
- 1:01:22Speaker 2: It's always fucking fun. The same time next year, same time.
- 1:01:25Speaker 2: Next year, you're gonna be here tightening you again.
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: Come on, it's gonna be an annual thing. I know.
- 1:01:29Speaker 2: Hopefully you don't have anything in LA the day before,
- 1:01:31Speaker 2: so you can get here a little early and we
- 1:01:33Speaker 2: can have like, you know, like the round one you had.
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: Last year, the brown water. Yeah we can hit a yeah,
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: we can hit a pool party. Nope, if I see
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: you will jump in the pool. I'm jumping out, no chance, no,
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: but thanks man, appreciate you. Bropp Sire. All right, boys,
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: that was fun. Five, That was that was a fun
- 1:01:59Speaker 1: one man
