Transcript
- 0:00Speaker 1: Our boys in Black are about to enter the lions Den,
- 0:02Speaker 1: Alice Park and Johannesburg. The teams have been named. Captain
- 0:06Speaker 1: Scott Barrett is back as lock after a finger injury,
- 0:09Speaker 1: and Sam kin will be returning to the starting fifteen
- 0:12Speaker 1: for the first time since that Rugby World Cup last year.
- 0:15Speaker 1: So can the All Blacks do it? Or will South
- 0:17Speaker 1: Africa beat them on home turf? I should say Kevin
- 0:21Speaker 1: part is a former Springbok and rugby commentator. He's with
- 0:24Speaker 1: me this morning, get a Kevin good Morning. So big
- 0:28Speaker 1: game this weekend. I would just feel scared for them
- 0:31Speaker 1: walking into that Lion's Den.
- 0:34Speaker 2: Oh look, it is a really confrontational, hostile sort of place.
- 0:39Speaker 2: But that's the same reason they also played the game.
- 0:42Speaker 2: And it's not as if we're not prepared. The reason
- 0:45Speaker 2: you bring a guy like Sam Kine back, you know,
- 0:47Speaker 2: someone with so much experience and that he's done that
- 0:50Speaker 2: multiple times and with success.
- 0:53Speaker 1: So that experience will be key.
- 0:55Speaker 2: You think, oh, one hundred percent. I mean, the one
- 0:58Speaker 2: thing is in people may not have sort of highlighted it,
- 1:02Speaker 2: but this is a sort of an undercooked Springbok team,
- 1:06Speaker 2: which you never get an undercook team. But you know
- 1:09Speaker 2: two locks who aren't really locked. They're sort of number
- 1:11Speaker 2: six and seven on their pecking order. Over there still
- 1:15Speaker 2: fantastic players you know played last week, but I mean
- 1:18Speaker 2: one World Player of the Year is the blindside loose forward.
- 1:22Speaker 2: So if there's an opportunity to sort of attack their
- 1:26Speaker 2: line out, now would be the time.
- 1:29Speaker 1: Are you saying they might be a bit vulnerable?
- 1:33Speaker 2: I haven't found many. Yeah, I wouldn't go with many
- 1:36Speaker 2: vulnerable Springbok teams, but that there are certain opportunities to
- 1:41Speaker 2: try and come through. And I mean with the guyelite
- 1:43Speaker 2: Scott Barrett, we should be sort of pumping there, going yeah,
- 1:45Speaker 2: but he's in the same position that they are at
- 1:48Speaker 2: the stage, a little bit weak. The only thing to
- 1:50Speaker 2: counter that is they've just brought is the best back
- 1:54Speaker 2: from injury, and I mean, you know, your best player
- 1:56Speaker 2: in the world able to come off the bench and
- 1:58Speaker 2: probably you know, go like and absolute bowing for about
- 2:02Speaker 2: thirty minutes. Is that scares the heck out of anyone.
- 2:05Speaker 1: A bad time for us to be watching here, but
- 2:08Speaker 1: it'll be a great game. Looking forward to it, and
- 2:10Speaker 1: thank you. What's your scorepick? By the way, have you
- 2:12Speaker 1: got one or who's winning.
- 2:14Speaker 2: And what's yeah I do. I unfortunately think we might
- 2:17Speaker 2: win at Cape Town, but I think this one could
- 2:19Speaker 2: be about six points to the box.
- 2:21Speaker 1: All right, Kevin part thank you very much for you
- 2:23Speaker 1: trying to form a Springbok and rugby commentator. For more
