  So let's move on to Week 16. So we've got 1-2 game team to

  avoid and that is the New Jersey Devils and some decently

  rostered guys who are droppable from the Devils to stream.

  Pretty much Luke Hughes is the one highly rostered guy on New
• 3:05
  Jersey that is worth dropping. So if you have him, don't hold

  on to him for this two game week.

  Grab someone better. I mean, he's like 40% owned,

  like he should not be. Yeah, owned that.

  Much No, he had a hot streak, so he jumped up a bit and I think

  people are now realizing that that's over.

  So he'll his ownership percentage will drop.

  But yeah, definitely no reason to hold through A2 game.

  on Anaheim. He's line one, power play one.

  He's been super solid putting up decent points, also putting up

  decent peripherals. He's a forward that's playing

  defenseman for. Anaheim.

  He was a that position is forward, but they've been trying

  to put him as a. Defenseman that's wild I've.

  He's still power play too. I don't think that's gonna

  happen anytime soon for him to get promoted to power play, but

  this Line 1 is not just good because the deployment, but also

  shows that the coach has a lot of trust in him.

  So I like that a lot for a pickup and as a long term hold.

  Let me ask you though, side tangent on the Capitals, Yeah.

  How do you feel about the defenseman situation there,

  Carlson and Chicken? Because Carlson has been kind of

  mid. Honestly, like I'm feeling at

  this point that chicken. Is the guy, but do you think

  Carlson has trouble? Like do you think he might get

  bumped off? Or.

  He's just always going to be. There, yeah, I think.

  I don't see him losing this power play.

  One deployment definitely. If it was one of the defence

  the depth chart, which is kind of crazy to say.

  And we've got Cam Fowler who's line one power play one on Saint

  Louis. He's been really good since the

  trade. We kind of wrote him off when he

  initially got traded because like we said, he's been in this

  position before and just didn't really do anything with it on

  Anaheim. But it's different on Saint

  Louis. I mean, also you've got like

  that amazing coaching Monty. So and he's just got a really

  good surrounding cast and things are just clicking.

  I think he's pretty much got this like interesting pattern.

  I found like looking at his game log where he every two games he

  gets no points but then every two games he does get a point.

  That Lisa point, you know usually multipoint ones.

  So he's averaging like around like point 7.8 points.

  Which is really good for. The yeah and, and his prices

  aren't terrible. He's shooting and blocking so so

  This is a big one we've been talking about on the.

  brought up so many times on this podcast, like we just won't stop

  talking about him because he is that good.

  We're talking mainly bangers leagues, you know, pure points.

  Like he's not necessarily as good, but but still solid.

  But yeah, bangers league like he's line one power play one on

  Ottawa. The whole team has been

  slumping, but they're starting to turn things around.

  And he actually, he was on line 3 for the longest time.

  So if you look at his game logs and you see that he was doing

  really poorly for the past month.

  That's because he was demoted. But he recently got put back

  with Batherson and Kuchuk and he's immediately got three

  points in three games. So this is definitely a.

  Top 100% is like 35% owned ish. Like yeah, throughout the season

  and we're like we've always questioned it, like why is it so

  long? Yeah, it's because a lot of

  these are too shallow where the centre position is pretty deep.

  that's on a team that's going to be line one playing with Brady,

  Chuck and Batherson. Yeah, and he's PP one and he has

  a great playoff schedule. Like now's the time.

  He's a buy low in my opinion. Yeah, but he might be on waivers

  in your league. Yeah, pick him.

  Up I would definitely snatch him up yeah exactly because in terms

  of price, he's got the Pimms shots face off specifically yeah

  so so he's great. I've got JJ Peterka on Buffalo.

  He's currently lined 2 power play one he's been on fire and

  he's been on fire and he's averaging like point per game

  for the past month. Not the biggest perif sky, but I

  think two shots on goal, some solid power play points.

  He's a he's a great pickup and he's super low roster right now.

  So I think that's a that's a really easy pick up to make.

  He goes through stretches where I think he his deployment kind

  of changes like he was always on PP1, but when he's there and

  getting good deployment, like he has a nasty shot.

  He's a highly touted prospect and he seems to be having a bit

  of a breakout year. He has streaky but but right now

  he's on a hot streak so now is the time to pick up.

  Who decided to give birth to a child on a four-game week and

  But yeah, I know he's lined one power play one.

  He's leading the Anaheim Ducks in points and power play points

  and pretty much every category. So if you're going to own

  Anaheim Duck, Troy Terry is the guy to own.

  Obviously they're not the best team, but he is putting up very

  solid numbers. He's at .82 points per game over

  the past month and that just dipped a little because he had

  one bad game after coming back from from being off for a week.

  So he's had another solid pickup for points.

  He's he's a shotgun points guy that has great deployment on a

  team that doesn't have many offensive options.

  I would say so. I mean, he's always a good look

  actually for streaming on a four day week, yeah.

  Got Jason Zucker line one power play 1.

  Kevin's favorite guy ever. I know he's been a bit quiet

  lately, but he's still, I mean, it's only been like 3-4 games of

  him not doing much, but before that he was absolutely on fire.

  Yeah, his deployment hasn't changed, so and he's got solid
• 10:12
  peripherals. So I think he's definitely

  always a solid option. He's a guy who's historically
• 10:16
  been a double double this season, hitting a little less,
• 10:19
  although more recently, but he he found his sweet spot on the
• 10:23
  power play. Like, he's really been a focal
• 10:25
  point on the power play, contributing.

  Most of his points have been contributing there.
• 10:29
  He's also a goal scorer. But like you said, last 3-4
• 10:32
  games, he hasn't really been doing much.

  But his time is still, like, hovering around 20 minutes,

  which just goes to show that it's not like you're not

  trusting anymore. He's falling out of favor.

  Yeah. He's still getting the crazy

  deployment. It's just Buffaloes a little bit

  worse these last couple games. Yeah.

  Still talking about Buffalo, we've also got Dylan cousins

  that one might be more of a bangers one than a points one,

  but he still could be solid for points line one power play 2

  right now. Yeah, but again, they they

  jumble the lines around a lot. So you never know.

  But he's he is very good for if you're has Pimms, he's a stud

  for Pimms hits well face off wins shots.

  So so he's very solid in Vengers leagues and could chip in for

  points as well. And he's consistently one of the

  guys that is due for some positive regression in terms of
• 11:11
  points. Like if you look at like
• 11:12
  statistics where expected goals or whatever, like he's shooting
• 11:15
  the average below expected. Also, if you're league, if you
• 11:20
  can hold him in a league where trade headlines around the
• 11:23
  corner, he's another room really out there.

  Anything that needs a centre, like he's one of the main guys
• 11:28
  that's on their list. So just if you have the luxury
• 11:31
  of being able to hold them stream this week and keep the
• 11:34
  money roster, like that's cool. And this one always surprises me
• 11:38
  at how low rostered he is. But we've got Nick Schmaltz line
• 11:42
  one power play one on Utah. I know Utah's not necessarily
• 11:45
  the most exciting team right now, but they've been pretty hot
• 11:48
  and Schmaltz is a key contributor.

  He plays with Cooley and Keller and he's just been pretty great
• 11:55
  for awhile now. So it surprised, I'm surprised
• 11:57
  that he his roster percentage hasn't jumped up yet.

  So while you still can get him for free, it's a great time too.

  I mean, in previous years he's been a guy that's like gotten

  close to a point per game. Yeah, it's really just the

  deployment, I think with him. Yeah.

  And right now they're kind of due to injuries and stuff.

  They're consolidating a little bit on that first line, first

  power play, and he's benefiting from that.

  So I think it's a really good opportunity to jump on the ship

  and enjoy the production. Yeah, fully agree.

  Then we've got William Eckland who is terrorizing me this week

  on Kevin's team. He just put up a 3.9 including a

  Shorty. I put line 2, power play one.

  But if you look at the line 2, quote UN quote, it's really the

  one. That's it.

  It's really line 1. So I'm just putting what I.

  Might be a little. Bit a little bit no, but that's

  what it is on online. Like the stuff is showing line

  too, but that really is line one power play one and celebrity is

  him is great and Ackland and in his own right is a really good

  player. So he's the kind of guy who, you

  know, when you're on a not great team like the Sharks, they want

  to develop these young guys, they're give them all sorts of

  opportunities. We talked about this a lot, but

  he's really making the most of it lately.

  So he's a really good pickup for for next week and possibly a

  long term. Hold, he had a stretch earlier

  this season where he was like producing like .8 points per

  game but had like 0 peripherals. So it's like hard to hold those

  players sometimes. But now we're seeing like he's
• 13:17
  really picked up in the shots, and I think that's just playing
• 13:19
  with celebrity and on a better line.

  Yeah. And that's all it takes, I

  think, to make to make a guy. You have, like you said, these

  guys were one point per game but zero peripherals.

  But it's like the one point per game is very like streaky.

  Yeah, they're hard to hold because when they're not putting

  up the points, straight zeros, the second you had shots on goal

  into that, it becomes a much easier hold because even when

  they're not producing, they're still shooting.

  And that's just huge. So I think he could be a guy

  that you know is getting great deployment rest of season on a

  young team that's trying to develop.

  He could be a guy that you pick up for this weekend, ends up

  Fantilli. This is a really interesting

  one. He's currently line one power

  play one with Monahan out. I think I saw that Monahan's

  gonna be out for at least two weeks.

  So as long as Monaghan's out, Fantilli is a great pick up.

  He gets to play on that line with Marchenko, who's just

  unreal and foreign car has also been really unreal.

  And it's kind of funny that it seems whoever slots in, it's

  really, I think Marchenko is the guy out of those, out of like

  the whole fine. Like line one.

  Anyone who plays the Marchenko on that team is just benefiting

  hugely. So families already made the

  most of the opportunity and you should grab him before someone

  else. I will say that once Monahan

  comes back and he gets bumped down the line up, I would not

  feel sad dropping him, but until then?

  Pittsburgh was on a hot streak. Now they're on a bit of a cold

  streak. But Bunting kind of cemented

  himself on that first power play unit and he has been really,

  really good. So that's one that if you

  haven't missed out on it, it's a great opportunity to hop on the

  bandwagon and and see how far it goes.

  There's not many players you could pick up off waivers that

  are producing it. His power play points, which is

  the main reason why I personally have him on my fantasy team.

  We did get in a car accident, missed the game, and then the

  first game back he just played against Seattle.

  He got straight zeros. He still had 60 minutes of ice

  time. But you know, obviously getting

  time, I think all season fully healthy, knock on wood, but and

  the fact that he's power play one when the team is fully

  healthy, he's super interesting. There's also the fact that he's

  a really a volume scooter. He shoots a lot, so he makes it

  an easier hold when he's not getting points because of the

  shots. So I like that one A.

  Lot super enticing. The only thing is we don't know

  that left wing spot on the top line has been like subject to

  Then it was Allison, then it was that it was all of a sudden

  So we don't really know who's gonna end up there permanently,

  but right now at least, if he stays there for this upcoming

  So that's it. So then we've got Jaden Schwartz

  line one power play on Seattle. I don't love Seattle as a team

  in general for fantasy, but Schwartz has really been

  lighting it up. He's almost at a point per game

  over the past month. And so, you know, they kind of

  spread the wealth over there. But whoever is whoever is
• 17:18
  benefiting the most at the time is who you should jump on.

  So that's another good one to pick.

  Up. I mean, we're looking at guys

  that are roasting like less than 20% of leaves at this point.

  I think he's a really good name because you know, anybody that

  you can pick up this line, 1P1 is always going to have a good

  eye for some points and be a worthy streamer and he just fits

  that criteria and he's producing so.

  I definitely would take Dorff over Allison right now, but they

  bit wary about streaming one of them because you want to pick

  one up and they immediately get demoted.

  FEV and I wouldn't be. Vegas is still a solid team even
