- 0:48SPEAKER_01: Hey everyone, welcome back to the Beyond Limits podcast.
- 0:51SPEAKER_01: I am very excited because today's guest not only built an online course business to$12 million, but that is not the most shocking thing.
- 1:01SPEAKER_01: What made me bring her on is the fact that she closed it all down after a massive spiritual awakening and is now following her aliveness and building something even bigger and even greater.
- 1:11SPEAKER_01: So with that, welcome Christina to the show.
- 1:14SPEAKER_01: Thank you so much for having me on.
- 1:15SPEAKER_01: So super excited to be here.
- 1:17SPEAKER_01: For those people who aren't familiar with you and you're sorry, can we give a bit of background in terms of like who you were before, the online business, and then we'll go into the non-psychedelic, psychedelic experience that you had?
- 1:29SPEAKER_01: Because I feel when I was listening, I think so many women can like relate to this or they're doing things that like might look like such big success on the outside, but isn't actually like the depth that they're looking for.
- 1:41SPEAKER_01: So can you run us through like what happened?
- 1:43SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I can give like an overview of kind of the different chapters of my career and where I started.
- 1:48SPEAKER_00: But I've been a creator since 2017.
- 1:50SPEAKER_00: I actually started as a travel blogger.
- 1:52SPEAKER_00: So a lot of people don't know that because they found me recently.
- 1:55SPEAKER_00: But for a few years, I was working with tourism boards, hotels around the world.
- 1:59SPEAKER_00: And from there, I built my online education business, most of which I've now shut down.
- 2:04SPEAKER_00: But it was really um online courses for social media creators or aspiring influencers to do what I did, build, you know, a community online, work with brands.
- 2:14SPEAKER_00: And that was my primary business for, I want to say it really picked up like 2019.
- 2:20SPEAKER_00: And then COVID was definitely really helpful.
- 2:22SPEAKER_00: So five years, really helpful.
- 2:25SPEAKER_00: Five years.
- 2:26SPEAKER_00: Um and yeah, I had a team of 15 at like the business's height.
- 2:30SPEAKER_00: We did over 12 million dollars in sales, generated hundreds of thousands of dollars every month through automated marketing funnels.
- 2:37SPEAKER_00: And then I I want to say a couple years ago, a year and a half, two years ago, started losing um passion for what I was teaching about.
- 2:49SPEAKER_00: And the marketing landscape has changed a lot in terms of like you can't just run uh paid marketing and sell people through webinars anymore.
- 2:57SPEAKER_00: There needs to be an organic element to it.
- 2:59SPEAKER_00: And I was really struggling with talking about like social media tips and things like that.
- 3:05SPEAKER_00: And so the business kind of started to reflect my lack of interest over time and went through a really, really uncomfortable couple years of trying to figure out like, number one, why do I feel this way about my business?
- 3:18SPEAKER_00: What do I want to be doing next?
- 3:20SPEAKER_00: And I don't know if you've ever been in a similar position, but it's so hard to be in that void of like, I know this isn't for me anymore, but what the heck is and how do I step into that?
- 3:31SPEAKER_00: And ultimately, you know, the podcast episode that you you listened to, where I went through um a breakup, my business falling apart, so many things at once really brought me to like a dark place enough to evaluate and rebuild from there.
- 3:47SPEAKER_01: I want to dive into the Bali story because I was literally giggling.
- 3:52SPEAKER_01: I was I was giggling and so like half and excited.
- 3:55SPEAKER_01: And yeah, what I also loved before we get into that was the fact that you were not like super spirit, you weren't into manifestation at all.
- 4:02SPEAKER_01: I was literally giggling, you're like, I didn't know what law of attraction was before January.
- 4:08SPEAKER_01: This girl has a massive like cundalini awakening.
- 4:11SPEAKER_01: I was dying.
- 4:12SPEAKER_01: I was like, this is I know iconic.
- 4:14SPEAKER_01: So can you remind us back you're in Bali, and then Bali was where you decided you were gonna shut it down.
- 4:19SPEAKER_01: Then you were in Morocco when you actually like posted about it.
- 4:21SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 4:22SPEAKER_01: In Bali, like how did that decision happen?
- 4:27SPEAKER_01: And I want you to like tell your version of the story of like how that felt in your body, what it was actually going through, and that like click in that activation that I know like you signed up for the clinic activation.
- 4:38SPEAKER_01: I'll let you tell the story.
- 4:39SPEAKER_01: But like to me, it's a wild story that I think so many people need to hear because it's one thing where like someone's super spiritual already.
- 4:46SPEAKER_01: I don't know, they're playing cards, they're doing all these things to have one.
- 4:49SPEAKER_01: And you like, no, I gotta go to Gabali, I gotta sign up for this like activation.
- 4:53SPEAKER_01: And like there was before that moment and there was after that moment.
- 4:56SPEAKER_01: Like, you were never the same.
- 4:57SPEAKER_00: So and I can give context too.
- 4:59SPEAKER_00: Like, like you said, I was not spiritual at all before January.
- 5:02SPEAKER_00: Like, I didn't believe in astrology, I didn't believe in past lives, I didn't believe in like anything that I couldn't see.
- 5:10SPEAKER_00: Like, and I I've in recovery, so I've been sober for four years.
- 5:14SPEAKER_00: And in AA, you know, you have to find a higher power.
- 5:16SPEAKER_00: So I always just kind of thought about it like, yeah, you know, like the universe is my higher power, like, but not really a felt understanding of what that meant.
- 5:24SPEAKER_00: And so in January, when I was kind of going through my dark night of the soul, I sort of felt like I had no choice but to speak to something higher than me.
- 5:33SPEAKER_00: And I do sort of believe in divine intervention now because it truly felt like something was like planted inside of me that was like pulling me towards like learning about these concepts.
- 5:43SPEAKER_00: And so, yeah, January learned about law of attraction, uh, learned about like just energetic frequency.
- 5:49SPEAKER_00: Now I'm like fully on board with past lives, fully on board with reincarnation, like understand all of it, but it went really, really fast and it was really disorienting.
- 5:59SPEAKER_00: So I don't know what your experience with awakening has been, but I feel like for a lot of people it happens, you know, over years.
- 6:05SPEAKER_00: And for me, it happened within the span of like three or four months, and it was so disorienting and really difficult to like be in society.
- 6:12SPEAKER_00: And granted, like this, I say be in society in the context that like most people operate from a lot of ego, right?
- 6:18SPEAKER_00: And I was starting to see through all of it, it was really hard.
- 6:22SPEAKER_00: Um, and then I yeah, I went to Bali and I booked a kundalini activation process.
- 6:32SPEAKER_00: And granted, also, also none of this had any psychedelics too.
- 6:35SPEAKER_00: So that made it even weirder, I feel like, for me.
- 6:38SPEAKER_00: So I done I've been doing kundalini yoga for four years now.
- 6:42SPEAKER_00: Pretty much when I started when I got sober, I started doing kundalini.
- 6:46SPEAKER_00: And I didn't really understand, I think, what I was doing with kundalini yoga.
- 6:52SPEAKER_00: Like I understood, okay, I feel better afterwards, my nervous system feels more regulated, but I didn't understand the actual concept of like what kundalini is and that it's a way of awakening, essentially, um, from like an energetic standpoint.
- 7:07SPEAKER_00: And I had done a kundalini activation in January in Cape Town, and like nothing really like happened.
- 7:14SPEAKER_00: I just cried a lot and I was like, I'm down for that.
- 7:17SPEAKER_00: I like to cry.
- 7:18SPEAKER_00: So I was like, okay, I'll do this.
- 7:20SPEAKER_00: And I basically this was also uh the day after I had arrived to Bali, so I just gotten off a 20-hour flight.
- 7:28SPEAKER_00: I was like tired.
- 7:30SPEAKER_00: It was to be honest, I think the practitioners shouldn't have let me do it, but whatever.
- 7:35SPEAKER_00: So I get there and it's like a group setting.
- 7:38SPEAKER_00: And have you done them before?
- 7:40SPEAKER_00: Yeah, kundalini, yeah.
- 7:42SPEAKER_00: Kundalini activation?
- 7:43SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 7:43SPEAKER_00: Okay, yeah.
- 7:44SPEAKER_00: So it's like one of the group setting ones where you're like, you know, laying in a circle and it was an hour, sh no breath work at all, obviously no psychedelics.
- 7:52SPEAKER_00: She's not touching you at all.
- 7:54SPEAKER_00: All we're doing is laying on the ground, she's playing music.
- 7:56SPEAKER_00: And now what I understand is that like she's essentially tuning everybody up to her frequency, essentially.
- 8:02SPEAKER_00: She has Kundalini awakened.
- 8:04SPEAKER_00: I don't know, really.
- 8:05SPEAKER_00: I still don't understand what happened.
- 8:07SPEAKER_00: Still processing.
- 8:08SPEAKER_00: Um, so as I'm lying there, I start feeling uh like tingling in my arms as I'm lying on the ground.
- 8:15SPEAKER_00: It feels like electricity is running through them.
- 8:17SPEAKER_00: And my logical brain, because I don't believe in any of this stuff, still as I'm there, I'm like, what is going on?
- 8:23SPEAKER_00: I'm trying to stop my arms from like shaking.
- 8:26SPEAKER_00: And then I start feeling some grief come up, which I'm like, that's fine.
- 8:31SPEAKER_00: Um and then I started feeling the like classic kind of like kundalini goddess feeling, which I feel like everybody's sort of after that kundalini feeling.
- 8:41SPEAKER_00: I'm like, great, this I feel amazing.
- 8:43SPEAKER_00: I feel super embodied, confident, whatever.
- 8:45SPEAKER_00: And then as I'm lying there, I'm essentially like lying flat on the floor, and all of a sudden, it feels like um the only way I can describe this is like the hospital paddles that people use to resuscitate people, or like, I don't even know, like a car charger is like plugged into my chest and it's like shocking me.
- 9:06SPEAKER_00: And I'm lying on the ground, no one's touching me, and my chest is like rising off the floor like six times in a row.
- 9:13SPEAKER_00: It feels like I'm being like shocked.
- 9:16SPEAKER_00: My head's on the floor, it looks like I'm having an exorcism.
- 9:18SPEAKER_00: And still I'm like, what the F is going on?
- 9:22SPEAKER_00: Like my brain's like, I think I was saying out loud, like, what is happening?
- 9:25SPEAKER_00: What is happening?
- 9:26SPEAKER_00: What is happening?
- 9:28SPEAKER_00: And now I understand that it was kind of like bal I don't really even know what happened, but it's like a balancing of energies, right?
- 9:37SPEAKER_00: Like my energy is being tuned up to hers.
- 9:39SPEAKER_00: And so a lot of things are being released energetically from me.
- 9:42SPEAKER_00: So after that, I have like a really um like dark feeling.
- 9:47SPEAKER_00: And I still am not sure whether it was somebody else's energy in the room because I've learned I'm very energetically open, or if it was something of my own that was being brought to the surface, because with Kundalini, it's like the ayahuasca of energy work, right?
- 10:01SPEAKER_00: Like as it's rising, it's clearing anything that you've kept blocked inside of you.
- 10:05SPEAKER_00: Still don't really know, probably will never know.
- 10:07SPEAKER_00: Uh, but for the next like 24 hours, I had just like a really dark, like doom feeling over me.
- 10:15SPEAKER_00: And it was really unsettling.
- 10:17SPEAKER_00: So I messaged the practitioner and I was like, um, you know, something's something's off with my energy.
- 10:22SPEAKER_00: Can I come back?
- 10:24SPEAKER_00: And I went back to her the next day for like sort of a gentle, like Reiki grounding, and that's when the weird shit started happening.
- 10:32SPEAKER_00: Like, none of that was weird.
- 10:34SPEAKER_00: That was just like, no, scratching the surface.
- 10:36SPEAKER_00: Yeah, that was just scratching the surface.
- 10:38SPEAKER_00: Whenever I tell the story, I'm like, no, there's chapters to this.
- 10:40SPEAKER_00: So we do the Reiki grounding, whatever.
- 10:43SPEAKER_00: And at this point, when I'm doing Reiki with her, I feel like I have superpowers almost like energetically, like my arms are doing the thing again.
- 10:50SPEAKER_00: When she would touch my like stomach or like my shacral chakra, like I would get immediate cramping in my stomach, immediate, she would let go, gone.
- 10:58SPEAKER_00: She would touch my head, headache immediately, she'd let go, gone.
- 11:00SPEAKER_00: It was the craziest thing I've ever experienced.
- 11:03SPEAKER_00: So after that, for about a week and a half, two weeks, for about half of every single day, I felt like I was completely outside of my body.
- 11:16SPEAKER_00: Like the only way I can describe this is I've heard people talk about this with psychedelics, where they feel like they are not in their body.
- 11:26SPEAKER_00: Like it's almost like my consciousness was like back here and I was looking through my eyes at my hands, but they didn't feel like my hands.
- 11:32SPEAKER_00: Yeah, it's like a meat suit you're wearing.
- 11:34SPEAKER_00: Exactly, 100%.
- 11:36SPEAKER_00: I felt like I, yeah, I was outside of my body.
- 11:40SPEAKER_00: And what was really destabilizing and concerning for me about that is I didn't expect that at all.
- 11:46SPEAKER_00: And I hadn't taken a psychedelic.
- 11:48SPEAKER_00: So it just felt like, and then it was replaying in my brain, like you're never the same after a kudalini awakening, you're never the same after a kudalini awakening.
- 11:55SPEAKER_00: And I was like, oh my God, is this how I'm gonna feel?
- 11:58SPEAKER_00: Because I felt if anyone's experienced like depersonalization or derealization, like that kind of feeling, I would think about my friends and family and they didn't feel like mine.
- 12:08SPEAKER_00: Essentially, what happened, and I like thank God at the time my therapist who's um based in New York, she's obviously Western educated, but she's also really educated in like Eastern modalities, energy work, all of this.
- 12:20SPEAKER_00: So she would send me like 20-minute voice notes while I was in Bali, and she was essentially saying that like my consciousness had essentially ratcheted like so high, and my nervous system was not regulated enough at that point to be able to ground the energy.
- 12:34SPEAKER_00: And so I couldn't get back into my body.
- 12:37SPEAKER_00: So for like two weeks, every single morning, I literally was like waking up and like hitting myself and being like, You have a body, you have a body.
- 12:44SPEAKER_00: I was doing yin yoga every day, I had to be in the ocean every day, I was eating meat.
- 12:47SPEAKER_00: Like, I truly thought I was like losing my mind.
- 12:51SPEAKER_00: Um, and the way I speak about it now is kind of detached from the experience, but like, I mean, I'm sure you've been through similar things.
- 12:57SPEAKER_00: Like it was terrifying.
- 12:58SPEAKER_00: Yeah, it was really terrifying.
- 13:00SPEAKER_00: So, a lot of the cap things, it's like when kundalini energy is awakened, it can be a really amazing experience.
- 13:07SPEAKER_00: You can be more creative, more intuitive, more feminine, um, more energized, but a kundalini awakening is an entirely different thing, and you don't want to force one.
- 13:18SPEAKER_00: Because now I get a lot of questions from people like, how do I know it's time to awaken my kundalini?
- 13:22SPEAKER_00: I'm like, it's not time.
- 13:23SPEAKER_00: When you're ready, it's time.
- 13:24SPEAKER_00: It's not time.
- 13:25unknown: Yeah.
- 13:26SPEAKER_01: When it's ready, it'll happen.
- 13:27SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 13:27SPEAKER_01: And you won't have a choice.
- 13:28SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 13:29SPEAKER_01: You don't ask for it, it just happens.
- 13:30SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yeah.
- 13:31SPEAKER_01: Exactly.
- 13:32SPEAKER_01: So it sounds like very like visceral, like very bi.
- 13:35SPEAKER_01: Like you weren't in the actual experience, like not lots of visuals or patterns, like, you know, no spirit animal or panther came to you.
- 13:42SPEAKER_01: Like it was all very like it sounds like visceral body reaction.
- 13:46SPEAKER_01: Like you just felt it.
- 13:47SPEAKER_00: Yeah, 100%.
- 13:48SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 13:49SPEAKER_00: And I'm sure I had, I don't really remember because I think the bodily sensations kind of took over my memory of it, but I'm sure I had like visions and things during it.
- 13:56SPEAKER_01: But so you're now coming back, you're grounded in your body.
- 13:59SPEAKER_01: How do you feel that you interacted?
- 14:03SPEAKER_01: Because even guess when we ground back in, the way you perceive friends, family, the world around you is fundamentally different.
- 14:10SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 14:11SPEAKER_01: How do you feel like that?
- 14:12SPEAKER_01: And we'll get into business stuff in a bit, but just interacting with like friends and family where it kind of feels not as separate as it did when you were like grounding back in, but at the same time, not everything is in resonance, correct?
- 14:25SPEAKER_01: So, like, how did you deal with that?
- 14:27SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I feel like I've integrated pretty much entirely, like back to not back to where I used to be because certainly my baseline consciousness is a lot higher, um, which is a positive.
- 14:40SPEAKER_00: But it took it took me a while, honestly.
- 14:44SPEAKER_00: And I feel like one of the things that I'm sure you've experienced with awakening and just becoming more conscious in general is like that initial period of trying not to overanalyze and see through everything, essentially.
- 15:00SPEAKER_00: Like I feel like sometimes I am too aware, you know, like I can see everybody's like inner child ego, I can see like where they're armoring, I can see just through like micro movements, they're like the way they speak about themselves, the way that they talk or whatever.
- 15:17SPEAKER_00: It's just like I can see through too much, and I'm trying to ground that a little bit more.
- 15:23SPEAKER_00: Um, but I feel like for my relationships that are aligned with people that are doing, you know, the work, they've only gotten stronger.
- 15:33SPEAKER_00: And I think unfortunately, like some relationships have fallen away.
- 15:38SPEAKER_00: Um, but I do think overall it has been a superpower because it's connected me so much more to, first of all, my purpose and a larger purpose at that.
- 15:49SPEAKER_00: Um, but also it's fundamentally changed the way that I like experience life on a felt level.
- 15:55SPEAKER_00: My window of tolerance is so much wider.
- 15:58SPEAKER_00: I'm so much more peaceful, joyful, present in my daily life in a way that I wasn't before, so much more self-assured, so much more confident.
- 16:05SPEAKER_00: And that has changed like everything for me.
- 16:07SPEAKER_00: Like the way I interact online, the way I post content online, um, the way that I, you know, receive feedback from people online.
- 16:15SPEAKER_00: Like everything is very uh through the lens of self-assurance, which is a different experience for me.
- 16:21SPEAKER_01: So do you feel like there were any people who were kind of like either resistant or like you've changed because like you went from like not that at all, and perhaps maybe your friends also weren't into that, to then being like so different.
- 16:35SPEAKER_01: Do you feel like everyone was like, yay, for the different Christina?
- 16:38SPEAKER_01: Or were some people kind of like, is something wrong?
- 16:41SPEAKER_01: Like, who are you?
- 16:42SPEAKER_01: Like, was there any of that?
- 16:44SPEAKER_01: Or was it all like everyone's just like, we love this new version?
- 16:47SPEAKER_00: No, I think everybody was very happy for me and the growth that I've had, but it is confronting when somebody grows and you don't necessarily understand like what they're growing through.
- 17:04SPEAKER_00: I think it's very natural for there to start being a disconnect.
- 17:08SPEAKER_00: I think that one of the reasons when I was going through the like Kundalini integration phase afterwards, I didn't really talk to any of my friends and family because most of the people in my life at the time were very logical, very in 3D reality, like didn't really understand anything about spirituality.
- 17:26SPEAKER_00: And I was aware that if I talked to them about it, number one, they wouldn't understand.
- 17:31SPEAKER_00: But number two, they might make me feel crazier because at the time I felt like I was losing my mind.
- 17:35SPEAKER_00: Um, so it's been really, really important for me to like find people online that, and in real life too, that understand what I'm what I'm going through and see the world in the same way that I now do and that are into all of these different things.
- 17:50SPEAKER_00: Um, because that's just, you know, made it a lot easier.
- 17:53SPEAKER_00: And I think that's just like a natural part of growing, is there's gonna be people that aren't willing to come along for the ride with you and grow at the same rate and they kind of fall away, and then the universe ends up bringing in like new, really aligned people.
- 18:06SPEAKER_01: And you feel like it was like easy to let those people go because I find like some people they maybe know that something's drifting apart, but they tend to like latch on and like not want to let go.
- 18:15SPEAKER_01: Do you feel like because it was so fast for you that you were you were like that piece of like, you know, if this is meant to be, it will like be.
- 18:23SPEAKER_01: If it not, I I'll let it go.
- 18:25SPEAKER_01: You were kind of just like in that zone where you were allowing things to like flow as they would.
- 18:29SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I think for me, it's like I never really, unless the friendship is like more toxic, I don't think I ever cut people off entirely, right?
- 18:36SPEAKER_00: I kind of more compartmentalize people, you know.
- 18:40SPEAKER_00: Like there's certain people in my life that are the like spiritual conversation people.
- 18:43SPEAKER_00: There's people that I that are wonderful at relationship talk, and there's people that are really good at just business talk.
- 18:48SPEAKER_00: And I like know who is who, you know?
- 18:50SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 18:51SPEAKER_00: Um, so I don't think there's really been anybody in my life that I've stopped talking to entirely.
- 18:57SPEAKER_00: I will say that like without like being specific, there are certain people that I'm around where I'm just like there is no resonance anymore that I've known for, you know, 20 plus years of my life, and I used to party with them, and now it's just like we see the world so differently that it's very difficult for me to be around them.
- 19:17SPEAKER_00: But the other thing as well is that it's not just difficult for people that are more conscious to be around people that are less conscious, it's difficult for them to be around us.
- 19:26SPEAKER_00: And so I think that they oftentimes will start distancing as well because they start to see themselves in us more as like a much more clear mirror.
- 19:36SPEAKER_00: And so I think anytime you grow away, it's mutual.
- 19:41SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 19:41SPEAKER_01: Oh, I couldn't agree more.
- 19:43SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 19:44SPEAKER_01: So you go to Bali, you have all this stuff, then you realize that you need to close the business down, like there's something else.
- 19:52SPEAKER_01: You make that decision.
- 19:55SPEAKER_01: I want you to talk about being in that void of not knowing what's next.
- 19:59SPEAKER_01: Because I feel like when I like pivoted my business, I knew what was next.
- 20:03SPEAKER_01: So I dropped it and switched the next day.
- 20:06SPEAKER_01: You didn't know what was next.
- 20:07SPEAKER_01: No, and that for a lot of people can be even more destabilizing because it's like the nothingness, the I don't know.
- 20:13SPEAKER_01: And I know you had like the finances to be able to do so, you didn't have to like the pressure to figure it out.
- 20:18SPEAKER_01: But like, how did you navigate that not knowing and not go too much into the figuring out and the scrambling and like, hey, like I gotta make it work, I gotta do something, like and actually sit in that stillness and and listen and hear without trying to make something up to give yourself the illusion of being productive.
- 20:35SPEAKER_00: Yeah, it's really difficult.
- 20:37SPEAKER_00: And I am so grateful that I did have the financial position to be able to take a break because I mean I shut my courses down in May.
- 20:44SPEAKER_00: I did have like a final sale on them, so that certainly helped.
- 20:47SPEAKER_00: Um, but I haven't launched anything new and I will be in the next couple of months, so everyone can see on that.
- 20:53SPEAKER_00: But yeah, I here's the thing I've learned.
- 20:57SPEAKER_00: When you're trying to find answers from a place of force and control because you need something, right?
- 21:06SPEAKER_00: It's always gonna be the wrong answer.
- 21:08SPEAKER_00: Like always it's gonna be the wrong answer because it's coming from the wrong intention.
- 21:12SPEAKER_00: And so I knew that it's it's a delicate balance because on one side it is about giving yourself the space and the presence with yourself to receive the answers, and then also it's making sure that you're actually like taking action as well.
- 21:31SPEAKER_00: And I think there were like little, I think of them as little breadcrumbs, right?
- 21:35SPEAKER_00: There are little breadcrumbs along the way of like, oh, you're being pulled to this.
- 21:38SPEAKER_00: Okay, let's try this, or like, oh, you're interested in this, like, let's try that.
- 21:42SPEAKER_00: And so I just consciously made the effort to like follow where I was being led in different areas and like trusting that that path was leading me somewhere.
- 21:53SPEAKER_00: And that requires, I think, a level of like surrender and trust in the universe that like There will be a light at the end of the tunnel.
- 22:02SPEAKER_01: So funny you say breadcrumbs because I was thinking before you said breadcrumbs.
- 22:04SPEAKER_01: I'm like, I bet it's just like a little trail of breadcrumbs.
- 22:06SPEAKER_01: Yes.
- 22:07SPEAKER_01: But I feel like there were breadcrumbs for you even before that.
- 22:10SPEAKER_01: Like there's been breadcrumbs of like not feeling a certain way in the business.
- 22:13SPEAKER_01: Oh, now go to Bali.
- 22:14SPEAKER_01: Oh, book do activation.
- 22:16SPEAKER_01: Now do this.
- 22:16SPEAKER_01: Now do this.
- 22:17SPEAKER_01: Like it's just one breadcrumb after the other after the other.
- 22:20SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 22:20SPEAKER_01: But when you're running around, you can't even like notice the breadcrumbs if you're trying to for like you're not going to be able to like catch it.
- 22:26SPEAKER_01: And like you said, it's not always like this big giant sign written of like go left or do this.
- 22:31SPEAKER_01: It's yeah, it's subtle.
- 22:32SPEAKER_01: But if you're running around, you can't notice the subtle breadcrumbs.
- 22:36SPEAKER_01: And then you're gonna miss like what's right in front of you.
- 22:39SPEAKER_00: Exactly, exactly.
- 22:40SPEAKER_00: Like if you're in that constant state of like panicking and anxiety and like trying to control everything outside of you, you're right.
- 22:45SPEAKER_00: It's like it's impossible to notice the way that the universe is whispering at you and the way that your intuition is whispering at you.
- 22:50SPEAKER_00: And I even think about small things, like for example, um, I was trying to find an apartment in Miami in February, and the one that I wanted, it didn't work out for some reason.
- 23:00SPEAKER_00: And then he was like, I'm gonna try to sell it for a few months.
- 23:02SPEAKER_00: And if I had taken that apartment, I would not have gone to Bali.
- 23:06SPEAKER_00: And what's funny is I went to Bali, I get back to Miami, and I get the apartment.
- 23:11SPEAKER_00: And if I had not gone to Bali, none of the Kundalini stuff would have happened and nothing.
- 23:17SPEAKER_00: And so it's not only the like positive signals of what you're interested in, it's trusting also that things fall apart for a reason or things are delayed for a reason and that things are working behind the scenes in a way that you might not understand right now, but that will be revealed to you, even when it's really, I don't know if I can swear, really fucking hard.
- 23:35SPEAKER_01: What allows you to trust?
- 23:37SPEAKER_01: Because I feel like sometimes, like, oh, you just trust, you just trust.
- 23:39SPEAKER_01: And sometimes that can be easier said than done.
- 23:41SPEAKER_01: Do you feel like it was the proof that you're like, oh, I have had these things happen in the past, so I can see that I can trust?
- 23:48SPEAKER_01: Is it because of the whole like Kundalini activation that you felt like you could just trust?
- 23:52SPEAKER_01: Because yeah, I feel like trust is like a word people say, like, just trust, but it's like, all right, how how do you how do you trust?
- 23:59SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 23:59SPEAKER_00: Something I started doing, I think without even realizing that I was doing it, honestly, in uh before Kundalini, I started a note on my on my notes app of like all of the uh I don't want to use word synchronicities because maybe, well, actually, maybe your audience understands synchronicities, like all the synchronicities that are happening in my life and the and the signs that I was getting and the ways that things were working out for me.
- 24:20SPEAKER_00: So like um, you know, somebody reaching out to me for a podcast opportunity, or um somebody sending me a message that was like, I really love when you talk about this, or a friend mentioning, you know, whatever it is, just starting to turn my attention towards those things.
- 24:35SPEAKER_00: Because the more that you focus your attention on how life is working out for you, you focus on that more.
- 24:42SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 24:42SPEAKER_00: And then you start realizing, oh, all of the pieces are coming together for me.
- 24:47SPEAKER_00: But I also think that it's a matter of like nervous system regulation, also.
- 24:52SPEAKER_00: Like you can't really like, you can't really like trust in anything if you're constantly dysregulated.
- 25:01SPEAKER_00: And for me, I think that's been like my biggest superpower because when I am regulated and I'm calm and I'm at ease and and comfortable in my body, then I'm much more able to feel like I don't know how to describe, like, but you know what I'm talking about, like in tune, like I have a direct relationship.
- 25:19SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 25:19SPEAKER_00: And also just experimenting with this stuff too, like waking up every day and just talking to your spirit guides, talking to something higher than you, whatever you believe in, even if you don't believe in it, just talk to them and ask for things.
- 25:34SPEAKER_00: Ask for signs, remain, you know, regulated, use nervous system regulation tools, and like you will start to notice things.
- 25:42SPEAKER_00: And I really didn't believe that was a thing before six months ago.
- 25:48SPEAKER_00: But now I'm like, oh shit, okay, this does actually work.
- 25:52SPEAKER_00: And then when you start to see those signs, then you start to trust in things.
- 25:56SPEAKER_00: And also thinking back of like any other time that you had something happen in your life that was really destabilizing, really devastating, and thinking back to where like thinking where you are now.
- 26:09SPEAKER_00: Like everything is working out for you.
- 26:11SPEAKER_00: And so it's in those moments when things are appearing to fall apart, appearing to not go your way, when you're feeling devastated, when you're feeling out of control, that the certainty that it is actually working out for you.
- 26:22SPEAKER_00: Like I always say the universe plays chess, not checkers with you.
- 26:24SPEAKER_00: It's like all the moves are not obvious.
- 26:26SPEAKER_00: I like that until they are.
- 26:29unknown: I like that.
- 26:30SPEAKER_00: I know, popped.
- 26:31SPEAKER_00: That was a walking thought that I had.
- 26:34SPEAKER_01: And I also love that you say nervous systems like superpower, because I've been saying that for years.
- 26:37SPEAKER_01: And so more people need to understand it.
- 26:39SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 26:40SPEAKER_01: And you're so right about the trust, because I feel like people get so zoomed in, and it's easy when you're zoomed in to not see like the big picture, like the big puzzle.
- 26:49SPEAKER_01: But if you were actually to zoom out, you would see how it's all connected.
- 26:52SPEAKER_01: When people are so focused and zoomed in on like this one thing happened today, there's one thing bad.
- 26:57SPEAKER_01: It's like you're missing the rest of it.
- 26:59SPEAKER_01: And if like you cannot have such a narrow perspective and actually just broaden it, even if you can't see what the whole picture is, you can see that there is more.
- 27:08SPEAKER_01: Exactly.
- 27:09SPEAKER_01: And it will become clear, but it actually, in order for it to get clear, it's like people have this close up, like, I can't see it, I can't see it.
- 27:14SPEAKER_01: And it's like, exactly, we gotta pull back.
- 27:17SPEAKER_01: We gotta like have this larger perspective than what's going on in this minute or in this hour or like this month in life and business and the relationship, et cetera.
- 27:24SPEAKER_01: Exactly.
- 27:25SPEAKER_00: And people don't see how it's like when you are in that state of nervous system dysregulation, how you are trying to control things in your external environment, like people you're in a relationship with, your job, social media reach, like whatever, anything outside of you to feel safe inside of yourself without realizing that like if you find safety within yourself, then none of that matters, and you can surrender to the flow of life and the way that it's supposed to unfold so much better.
- 27:51SPEAKER_01: Speaking of my language.
- 27:52SPEAKER_01: Oh my god.
- 27:52SPEAKER_01: I love when you just reiterate things that I talk about all the time.
- 27:55SPEAKER_01: I know.
- 27:55SPEAKER_01: I love when new people hear it because it's the key.
- 27:58SPEAKER_01: It is the key.
- 27:59SPEAKER_01: Totally.
- 28:01SPEAKER_01: So you found that you close down the business.
- 28:03SPEAKER_01: Now you're doing something new.
- 28:04SPEAKER_01: Can we update everyone like what you're doing now?
- 28:06SPEAKER_01: And like, so we you're following the breadcrumbs, you've gotten the breadcrumbs.
- 28:09SPEAKER_01: Where have the breadcrumbs brought you to this moment as of like early September 2025?
- 28:15SPEAKER_00: I'm obsessed with the subconscious mind.
- 28:17SPEAKER_00: I'm obsessed with nervous system regulation.
- 28:20SPEAKER_00: I'm obsessed with universal laws and energetics and using those things to fuel 3D results.
- 28:28SPEAKER_00: And I'm also incredibly strategic as well.
- 28:30SPEAKER_00: So, like through this entire thing, and I think this happens a lot when people go through massive change.
- 28:34SPEAKER_00: I think people tend to swing from like one thing to another.
- 28:37SPEAKER_00: So, like I had a couple months where I was like, you know what?
- 28:40SPEAKER_00: I'm so spiritual now that like I can just live in a hut and I'm gonna be happy and I can just talk about like energetics all day and like whatever.
- 28:47SPEAKER_00: And that's not accurate, right?
- 28:49SPEAKER_00: Like I I swung, right?
- 28:51SPEAKER_00: Like very masculine, very like uh strategic, very control oriented all the way over to this other place of like, and this is massive generalization, but like feminine spirituality, and like now I'm correcting, right?
- 29:05SPEAKER_00: Like my superpower, I believe, is bringing the two together and using my knowledge of strategy and of marketing uh to fuel things that will have deeper um resonance for people.
- 29:20SPEAKER_00: Because it's interesting, you know, my my courses before made sense for where I was in my life.
- 29:25SPEAKER_00: They were very strategic, very like one, two, three steps to grow your online following.
- 29:29SPEAKER_00: And um that's great, that's helpful, but it's completely overriding the fact that if you're subconscious and your nervous system are not on board with you having learn having more, being visible, et cetera, then that strategy is not possible.
- 29:46SPEAKER_00: So it's like swinging and now correcting.
- 29:49SPEAKER_01: And I know you talk at least recently a lot about the fear of being seen.
- 29:53SPEAKER_01: And I feel like some people like think that they want to be seen or they're doing all the strategy stuff.
- 29:57SPEAKER_01: But like if you're nervous, is I love it.
- 29:59SPEAKER_01: You say on board because I I you're literally thinking my language that I use.
- 30:03SPEAKER_01: I love it.
- 30:03SPEAKER_01: It's like, and we're also people can't see it, but we're in matching outfits.
- 30:06SPEAKER_01: We're also wearing tan shoes and white, it's hilarious.
- 30:09SPEAKER_01: I love it.
- 30:12SPEAKER_01: You need to get that on board, and sometimes I feel like people are running in these loops, like, and they're working so hard on like the strategy doing all that stuff.
- 30:19SPEAKER_01: But if you don't have the energetics behind it, then you're like missing a a large part of it because it won't allow any anything that's not safe.
- 30:26SPEAKER_00: Totally.
- 30:27SPEAKER_00: And the fear of being seen is so interesting to me too.
- 30:29SPEAKER_00: Because um, I after I went through my breakup, I went through this whole thing of like a typical post-breakup thing of like, where am I at in my life?
- 30:37SPEAKER_00: Where do I want to be?
- 30:38SPEAKER_00: Why does the gap exist?
- 30:40SPEAKER_00: And I realized that a huge thing that was holding me back was the fear of being seen.
- 30:44SPEAKER_00: And it's really interesting because I've been online for seven years, but for me, the fear of being seen was being seen an imperfection.
- 30:50SPEAKER_00: So I was really good at showing up online and recording a bunch of times, but I struggled with public speaking because it meant I could mess up.
- 30:57SPEAKER_00: I struggled with this, like six months ago, because I could mess up, quote unquote.
- 31:01SPEAKER_00: And what would that mean about me, right?
- 31:03SPEAKER_00: Whole story.
- 31:04SPEAKER_00: I struggled with um being truly vulnerable in intimate relationships.
- 31:09SPEAKER_00: So anything where I was seen in like a raw, imperfect context, it showed up for me.
- 31:13SPEAKER_00: And a lot of people, it shows up the fear of being seen with just even posting online at all, right?
- 31:18SPEAKER_00: Like day one.
- 31:19SPEAKER_00: Or it can show up in like a fear of success, also.
- 31:22SPEAKER_00: That's like something a lot of people don't talk a lot about, but is really important.
- 31:27SPEAKER_00: So it's it's interesting.
- 31:29SPEAKER_01: I'm curious because we brought up fear of being seen.
- 31:32SPEAKER_01: You went from very on one hand to something very different now.
- 31:36SPEAKER_01: Was there any fear of like coming back online and like talking about this stuff now and being like, not only like, yes, you were seen, you were so successful, but now it's like you're being seen talking about different topics.
- 31:48SPEAKER_01: How is that for you?
- 31:49SPEAKER_00: Yeah, totally.
- 31:50SPEAKER_00: I mean, so I had kind of gone through something similar before when I switched from travel to like social media education.
- 31:56SPEAKER_00: So I've done this before, but this one definitely, oh my god, for months it was like, who do you think you are?
- 32:03SPEAKER_00: I still am like, who do you think you are?
- 32:05SPEAKER_00: I'm Christina.
- 32:06SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 32:07SPEAKER_00: Spiritual awakening, right?
- 32:08SPEAKER_00: Um, who do you think you are?
- 32:10SPEAKER_00: What are people gonna think about you?
- 32:12SPEAKER_00: You're gonna lose followers, all these things.
- 32:14SPEAKER_00: And the thing is, is that I am losing followers, but I'm also gaining a lot.
- 32:18SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 32:19SPEAKER_00: And it doesn't that also that doesn't even matter.
- 32:22SPEAKER_00: I just literally kind of woke up one day and was like, this is who you are.
- 32:26SPEAKER_00: And I've done like so much visualization, so much like reprogramming work, safety around this new identity for myself to be like the old you is in the past, and like you learned and you grew, and so much amazing things have come from that.
- 32:42SPEAKER_00: But this is who you are now.
- 32:44SPEAKER_00: And I wake up every day and I'm like, this is who I am now, and I have a clearer vision finally after two years of the void of like where I want to go.
- 32:52SPEAKER_00: And every single day I think about it less as like working to become that person and more of like she already exists.
- 32:57SPEAKER_00: So, what can I, what step can I take today to meet her?
- 33:02SPEAKER_01: I love that you said I'm not becoming.
- 33:04SPEAKER_01: I literally did a post on this the other day.
- 33:06SPEAKER_01: I was like, you were not becoming her, like you already are her.
- 33:09SPEAKER_01: And there's so many times where I feel like people like I'm becoming, I'm becoming, and they keep themselves in this infinite waiting game of like they're always waiting to become her.
- 33:17SPEAKER_01: And I'm like, no, no, you're you're her now.
- 33:20SPEAKER_01: Stop saying I'm be like, yeah, if you were just to say I already am her, and you were just decide and move from that place, you would have infinitely different results than if you kept yourself as like a horse, like a horse dangling a carrot.
- 33:30SPEAKER_01: That's the analogy I use in my role.
- 33:31SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I love that.
- 33:32SPEAKER_01: Because you're moving forward, like trying to do the things, but you never get the carrot, i.e., you never become her because you keep using that word becoming.
- 33:38SPEAKER_01: And as you know, subconscious hears everything.
- 33:40SPEAKER_01: These like little subtle energetics of like, I'm becoming means it's outside of you.
- 33:45SPEAKER_01: It means it's separate, it means it's in the future, it's not in the now.
- 33:48SPEAKER_01: And I don't know how I'm just gonna go deeper into the future.
- 33:51SPEAKER_01: Yeah, like there's only the now.
- 33:53SPEAKER_00: So like your let's talk about the time space continuum.
- 33:56SPEAKER_00: I need another hour.
- 33:59SPEAKER_00: But it is like you're right.
- 34:01SPEAKER_00: It's like when you reframe it as like she already exists.
- 34:05SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah.
- 34:06SPEAKER_00: She already exists, and I am her, right?
- 34:10SPEAKER_00: Like waking up and like embodying that person.
- 34:13SPEAKER_01: So that actually prompted a question.
- 34:15SPEAKER_01: What do you think?
- 34:17SPEAKER_01: I'm gonna put you on the spot a bit.
- 34:19SPEAKER_01: What do you think is one thing that people don't know about you?
- 34:24SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yeah.
- 34:24SPEAKER_01: Like, what do you think?
- 34:25SPEAKER_01: Oh, like people either don't either don't know or misunderstand about you.
- 34:45SPEAKER_00: I think people probably don't know how much I have struggled with just not feeling good enough.
- 34:56SPEAKER_00: Like, I think people from the outside could very much see like the success I've had, the network I've had, the following I have, like the way I look, the way whatever, and be like, surely she thinks she's not good enough.
- 35:09SPEAKER_00: But for me, or she is good enough, um, but I've struggled with that like my entire life.
- 35:16SPEAKER_00: Uh obviously I uh have struggled in the past with addiction.
- 35:22SPEAKER_00: I've been so four years sober, but when you struggle with substance abuse or addiction and that whole cycle, it is so disempowering and just like really eats away at your self-confidence.
- 35:34SPEAKER_00: And so when I think back about who I was like five years ago, just truly filled with so much self-hatred and shame and uh no coping skills, no emotional regulation skills, nervous system window about like an inch big, um, to now having made so much progress on that, I think people probably don't see that.
- 35:56SPEAKER_00: And it's interesting because through this entire process, I've thought a lot about where motivation and ambition comes from.
- 36:03SPEAKER_00: And I think for the most successful people in the world, unfortunately, a lot of that drive and ambition comes from a need to prove yourself, avoid a fear.
- 36:12SPEAKER_00: Like fear is a very, very motivating thing.
- 36:15SPEAKER_00: And so one of my biggest stru uh, I don't want to say struggles, but like things I've had to face in this period is recalibrating where my drive comes from.
- 36:23SPEAKER_00: I because I'm like, I'm not as scared, I'm not as insecure now.
- 36:27SPEAKER_00: I don't have as much to prove because I love myself, like truly, truly.
- 36:31SPEAKER_00: So, where does my drive come from?
- 36:33SPEAKER_00: And it's shifting to a desire to serve.
- 36:38SPEAKER_00: And that can be as strong as a motivation, but it feels different.
- 36:42SPEAKER_01: I'm in love with you.
- 36:44SPEAKER_01: I love yeah, this is why I this is why I flew down here.
- 36:46SPEAKER_01: It feels different.
- 36:48SPEAKER_01: I could I agree with everything you're saying.
- 36:50SPEAKER_01: It just feels so much different when you're coming from service than when you're coming from, you know, I want to make X amount of money because then I'll be enough, or when I'm a millionaire, then I'm enough, or when I have X followers, then I'm enough, or when I have this body, then I'm enough, or my whatever, then I'm enough, then.
- 37:03SPEAKER_01: And it becomes this like never-ending game because there's always more money, more things.
- 37:07SPEAKER_01: And it doesn't feel like it always feels hollow, it always feels like a chase.
- 37:11SPEAKER_01: Nothing ever feels like yummy and delicious and overflow.
- 37:15SPEAKER_01: And you're like, it is such a different frequency.
- 37:18SPEAKER_01: What I like to say, and I like to say it's like, I don't know if you did this, but like, you know, like the hundred calorie like Oreo thin stations back in the day, like the diet cookies, it's like eating diet cookies versus eating real chocolate cake.
- 37:30SPEAKER_01: Yes.
- 37:30SPEAKER_01: Real chocolate cake is like coming from service on a soul level.
- 37:33SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 37:33SPEAKER_01: The diet cookies are like the not enoughness, the coming from like, you know, trying to fill a void.
- 37:39SPEAKER_01: Totally.
- 37:40SPEAKER_01: But like it doesn't actually like satisfy you.
- 37:41SPEAKER_01: Coming from service satisfies on a whole level because you are full already.
- 37:46SPEAKER_01: You are whole, complete already.
- 37:47SPEAKER_01: So what you were doing is just coming from that place.
- 37:50SPEAKER_01: Exactly.
- 37:50SPEAKER_00: And you will end up being just as successful externally too, and you're driven that way.
- 37:57SPEAKER_00: So it's not like you have to choose, it's just what you're operating from.
- 38:00SPEAKER_00: But it is so true.
- 38:02SPEAKER_00: Like, you know, I I know a lot of founders that have had like really, really big exits, and they are a couple of them like the most miserable people I've ever met in my life.
- 38:12SPEAKER_00: And it's like never enough, never enough, never enough.
- 38:14SPEAKER_00: And I'm like, it's so driven from like that childhood place of never enough, never enough.
- 38:20SPEAKER_00: And it's like on a soul level, you're never satisfied.
- 38:23SPEAKER_01: And it's sad.
- 38:24SPEAKER_01: I mean, it is, but if you don't know any different, like you think that that that's all there is to experience.
- 38:30SPEAKER_01: Totally.
- 38:31SPEAKER_01: I feel like I could I could talk to you for another three hours.
- 38:34SPEAKER_01: I would love to.
- 38:35SPEAKER_01: Like, like what?
- 38:37SPEAKER_01: I just I'm aware of like your time and the time.
- 38:40SPEAKER_01: I like I said, could talk to you for hours.
- 38:42SPEAKER_01: You might have to like come back for like another episode and like a part two.
- 38:45SPEAKER_01: The last question I want to ask, because this podcast is called Beyond Limits.
- 38:49SPEAKER_01: I know we've touched on so much, but like to you, what does it mean to live beyond limits?
- 38:55SPEAKER_01: Ooh.
- 39:01SPEAKER_00: Looking directly into the camera.
- 39:02SPEAKER_00: What does it mean to live beyond beyond limits?
- 39:07SPEAKER_00: I think for me, when I think about that, where my mind first goes is that all of us are very unconsciously told what we should want in life, the steps we should follow, the way that we should act, the way that we should sacrifice ourselves to be there for other people, the way like we're all programmed with that.
- 39:25SPEAKER_00: And I think Beyond Limits to me means silencing that noise and getting in touch with yourself and what you truly want, because all those things are limiting.
- 39:32SPEAKER_00: But when you look inside your soul's mission, like that's really where you can live so expansively.
- 39:40SPEAKER_01: I love that answer.
- 39:41SPEAKER_01: Thank you.
- 39:41SPEAKER_01: I love everything.
- 39:42SPEAKER_01: And I feel like you are like the perfect example, obviously, why I wanted to have you on of like someone living beyond limits and who really like chose to walk away from like what looks outside like as successful.
- 39:52SPEAKER_01: And I know it resonated back in the time, but then you aware that it didn't.
- 39:55SPEAKER_01: And you're like, well, no, if I were to keep this business and I would keep doing it like this, that would be a limitation.
- 40:01SPEAKER_01: I would be limiting my mission and what I'm here to do.
- 40:03SPEAKER_01: Oh my God, full body chills and goosebumps as I say that to you, of what you're here to do and like the impact you're here to have.
- 40:09SPEAKER_01: And like that was already so massive.
- 40:12SPEAKER_01: And I know like that was just the beginning, and there's so much like bigger here for you.
- 40:16SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 40:16SPEAKER_01: And I'm so excited to like watch what you do and like to see you follow more breadcrumbs and what you come out with and how you impact the world.
- 40:23SPEAKER_00: Girl, thank you so much.
- 40:24SPEAKER_00: And thank you for what you're doing too.
- 40:25SPEAKER_00: It's gonna impact so many people by having these conversations.
- 40:28SPEAKER_01: So yeah, thank you for having me.
- 40:30SPEAKER_00: My pleasure.
- 40:31SPEAKER_01: So we will link everything to follow Christina down below because obviously you're gonna want her to now.
- 40:36SPEAKER_01: I hope you've enjoyed this conversation, and I will see you in the next episode.
