  Well, this is what I wanted to talk to you about today.

  When you go into work, I am a firm believer that a good prayer is a great way to start your day.

  A day without prayer is a day without power. I've said it a thousand times and I'll keep saying it.

  And sometimes, you know, we go into an environment where not everyone follows,
• 2:23
  the same path that we try to follow.
• 2:25
  Not everyone believes in a higher power. Not everyone believes in prayer. And that's okay.

  That is your choice. And I do not judge and I will not judge you for it.

  But for those of you that do believe in God, for those of you that believe in
• 2:40
  your faith and want to strengthen your faith and strengthen your environment
• 2:44
  around you, here's my recommendation.

  Before you get out of the car or as you're walking into the building,

  or even if you're in the hallway, it is always great to recite the Our Father, the Lord's Prayer.

  It is always great to just say a quick prayer and to ask God to be with you

  and to guide you and Also to pray with for your colleagues and your friends

  and all those that are not with you on this day,

  So today is an example of what I do as i'm getting ready for work,

  And I hope that you enjoy it and we will conclude at the end of that prayer

  So here's what I usually do,

  and never forget have faith Let it begin. This is what I normally do.

  All right taking the keys out of my car.

  Heavenly father as i walk into work this morning i am asking you lord for,
• 3:33
  peace there is an environment that can get hostile at times with so many people
• 3:38
  that are dealing with losses illnesses diagnosis as you know i work in a hospital
• 3:44
  and it's not always perfect there's always some type of an emergency,
• 3:48
  and we ask you lord to continue to keep us safe to keep us healthy and allow
• 3:53
  the air quality to stay clear and clean, allow our visitors to arrive safely
• 3:58
  and to visit the patients and to keep them at bay.

  And not only that, to make them know that they're not alone.
• 4:04
  And Lord, I just ask you at this time to watch over my colleagues and coworkers,
• 4:08
  even those that are off today and my bosses and all the administrators.

  But in addition, to pray for the bus drivers that bus my kids to school,
• 4:16
  to other kids to school, and to pray for our parents, our grandparents,
• 4:21
  and our brothers and sisters and nieces and nephews, and to put the armor of
• 4:24
  Christ on all facilities all over the world
• 4:27
  so that nothing negative can engage it.

  We lift up in prayer, our good friend, Vioka. We pray for Jimmy. We pray for Bob.

  We pray for Helen. We pray for those that are in need of prayer and those that
• 4:39
  are dealing with upcoming surgeries and healing.

  We pray for my nephew, Amari. We pray for my sister. We pray for my sister-in-law.

  We pray for, and that is, of course, I'm talking about Mercedes,
• 4:52
  and we pray for Mia and the family.

  We lift up you, Lord, and we just ask you this as we pray the words that you taught us.

  Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name.

  Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

  Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors.

  Lead us not into temptation. Deliver us from evil.

  For yours is the kingdom, the power, and the glory forever. Amen.
