- 0:09one twenty. Can't believe we have done one hundred and twenty of these things.
- 0:14It's amazing. Shout out to the pop fam. I'm only the host

- 0:20fine. She's the first lady of the pot, the only lady of the
- 0:23pod. Key. What hey, friends, what's up guys? I'm just
- 0:30chilling's trying to duck the host. Okay, you dunking. I love that
- 0:33for you. Okay, yes, we know. Never mind, just watched
- 0:38the last episode. What episode before? If you want to know what I
- 0:42am, Sam, I don't even do that yet. I went to church
- 0:46Sunday. I want to let I went to church Sunday. Oh yes,
- 0:53yes, Easter Sunday. Um. I went to church, and I'm a
- 0:57new man. Okay, yes, I'm gonna get who's church you went too.
- 1:00I saw he was at your church. I was very happy that Zach
- 1:03was at church. I know that, like most folks, you go on
- 1:07Easter, you probably won't be back. Now I'm going I'm going this Sunday
- 1:11too o'clock. That's my time. I like to eight o'clock service. Okay,
- 1:15we're gonna see. I'll be watching. Make sure you check in and
- 1:19let me know you that you see an Instagram video, thenything. I would
- 1:22like to see your church. You don't see. Maybe I'm always I'm a
- 1:25youth faster that is, I mean, not that you've passed no definite you
- 1:33director, I really am you guys, wouldn't trust me with your children?
- 1:37What you'd be having them? Kids? Do? We talk about Galorela?
- 1:40We break down her lyrics. You know what I'm saying. That's why I
- 1:44love him. A God will give you another tomorrow. You gotta tappy into
- 1:47today. You know I'm making all make sense? You know? Shoot,
- 1:51Oh my god? But the person arguing with kid kids, Zach bug I.
- 1:57Hello, we never can get to your in trouble because he can always
- 2:01let you have it this side every with me. If you just be quiet
- 2:06when I say how you guys doing, just say we're good. We can
- 2:09move on. But he wanted to talk about going to church, like he
- 2:12really gonna go back again. Yeah, we'll see. I'm saved and sanctified
- 2:15and holy. First of all, I'm a preacher. Did you stand up
- 2:19though? When they when they asked for the guests, they asked where the
- 2:22guests were, and they said wave your hand, and he said, there's
- 2:23a lot of guests here. So you didn't stand up. I did stand
- 2:27up. They said, give your guests a hub. You probably just didn't
- 2:29see him. Okay. So I've actually mitt church because I had I had
- 2:38Bulls tickets and I couldn't get up. I couldn't get up, and at
- 2:43eight o'clock to go, and I couldn't go by a normal time service,
- 2:46so I watched it. I watched the service. I watched the eight o'clock
- 2:51service while getting ready to go to the Bulls game. I was on the
- 2:53virtual ship. All he did was that just about boys game. But you
- 3:00know, church, it ain't more than anybody in this room, really,
- 3:06way more way. Y'all got a church every week. Y'all have to relax
- 3:12because I have the most church in me. I'm a preacher's kid. You're
- 3:15the closest to Hell. I'll preacher's kids. You haven't been a church on
- 3:19a regular six days a week. It ain't work six days a week.
- 3:23I was going to church five to six days a week, and so I
- 3:29had to take a break. You have to take a break from something you're
- 3:30doing. Pks are the worst, y'all are the most fred meeting, choir,
- 3:38rehearsal, us, your board, rehearsal, revival. Right, I've
- 3:42got to come early because we got the early church service. Then after that
- 3:45we're having a revival afternoon service. Got a guest speaker, Yes, my
- 3:49grandma making the green beans. We talked about this act. What was it?
- 3:53I know you play an instrument, because all pks know how to do
- 3:55something seen playing piano, drums, something you do what you play well?
- 4:00In the churchill I was in the choiet. Okay, you're saying the choiet.
- 4:02I was in the usher board. But I do play outo saxophone.
- 4:05Though saxophone. He was in the quiet? Was you out to a soprano?
- 4:11Just curious? What? And when we think about what he's done for
- 4:18me, we think about okay, all right, all right, how he
- 4:23said me free? We think about that. I can feel the hell just
- 4:29beaming off you. Stop because the demon you are. I feel the heat
- 4:35already. Oh my god, let's jump into the pod man. Let's get
- 4:40to it. Uh, let's talk about this first. Uh, it's it's
- 4:44unsettling. The text messages from I think is it what is her name,
- 4:48zeal all Azrielle? Thank you Asrielle her mom about basically grooming R Kelly,
- 4:58well, basically grooming her to, said U, R Kelly. We'll save
- 5:00the female perspective on the pot for the for the last last word, Zach,
- 5:05When you saw these text messages, did you see it? First of
- 5:08all, yes, I saw the text messages, but the new information I
- 5:11just got that that's as it's as Rielle one of his girlfriends. Yeah,
- 5:15that was one of the girls. That's real. Yeah, that was one
- 5:18of the girls. I thought it was just a random Oh no, no,
- 5:21no, this was as Rielle's mom, mom who was saying that.
- 5:25Yeah, I remember she was on surviving Daughter. I want my daughter back,
- 5:30o daughter, back lock him all up, all of them. This
- 5:35does not make R Kelly. Okay, this is not no, no in
- 5:39any way, shape or form, make with our key. Okay. But
- 5:42if you you were an accomplice and you gave your daughter to R Kelly,
- 5:46that's why R Kelly was like, y'all killing me with this. You know
- 5:48what I'm saying? I understand why he was frustrated because now he's like,
- 5:51dude, you were giving me. You gave your child to me, not
- 5:56that he should take it, but you gave your child to me. And
- 5:59now you're on lifetime crying trying to get that lifetime check. Lock the parents
- 6:02up. To everybody who knew about this, especially that mom, You've got
- 6:06real she needs to do some time too. It's no way our Kelly should
- 6:10be in jail by itself. It's disgusting, but she how does she get
- 6:15to be freed up. Something's gotta happen. Some's gotta happen, bro,
- 6:20They gotta do something. And the fact that she was on a whole it's
- 6:24on Netflix too right now. Uh, that she's on the whole thing talking
- 6:30about what my daughter bags just lying on camera is nuts. It's nuts.
- 6:34And I know this is nothing, but our Kelly's legal team like, okay,
- 6:38cool, y'all, I'm gonna let's get to them text messages. Though,
- 6:42Let's get to the text because he knew it was something in there.
- 6:45His lawyer's problem knew was something there. He don't want to be in jail
- 6:47by itself. Look, it's gonna be me somebody else too. When you
- 6:50see this, what are you thinking? I mean, I'm sick to my
- 6:53stomach, Like you know, it's sad because we know he's a weird though,
- 6:58right, we know Robert got issues and all that, But Nina's like,
- 7:01yo, damn, parents are weird though, so as as real she
- 7:04didn't have a chance to win, Like she didn't have a chance in the
- 7:06fight. You know what I'm saying, Your mother is pushing you out here
- 7:10to do this stuff, and I'm just looking at some of the texts dance,
- 7:13grab his hand, shimmy, sit on his lap, you know,
- 7:15be a woman like who's what? And you want then you get on Lifetime
- 7:20and cry about it and asks me your daughter back. But you're the one
- 7:24who set this up. So as much as we want, as much as
- 7:28we want to hold our Kelly accountable as he should, we absolutely need to
- 7:31hold the parents accountable. There should not even be a question about it.
- 7:35They need to be arrested, charged, held like, because how sick and
- 7:42thirsty do you have to be to try to prop your child up for a
- 7:46grown man like that is sick. That's it goes to the to the point
- 7:51of what I've said constantly. Money and fame will make people, whether it's
- 7:59low level fame, mid level fame, low level money, those two together
- 8:03will make people do some weird things. And to sell your kid out for
- 8:07try to get a record deal to make her famous. You know R Kelly
- 8:11did R Kelly? I mean, I mean outside of everything. So we
- 8:16gotta remember this R Kelly, the outside of the weirdo stuff was probably outside
- 8:22of Oprah, the most famous person in Chicago outside of it. So now
- 8:28you got this super famous dude, highly accessible, who has We've seen it
- 8:33changed people's lives by just writing them one song. You've seen that, So
- 8:37now they want that for their daughter, and then she's willing to go at
- 8:41any limp to do that she actually wanted for herself, which is disgusting.
- 8:46They have to as a parent. I have two daughters. Technically, if
- 8:50you want to say it, I got three daughters. I got a step
- 8:52daughters. I've been taking camp since she was a baby. I'm saying like
- 8:56four, I'm saying bro as the simple fact is that you have to protect
- 9:03your daughters. The mode you keep your son from doing dumb stuff, you
- 9:07protect your daughters. Bro Like and as the guy I'm thinking, I'm thinking
- 9:13about that when they still married her parents. Yes they're still together, they're
- 9:16still together to this day. But let's not let's not give too much,
- 9:20not too much on the mother, because I feel like the father is just
- 9:22as guilty. Absolutely, absolutely, he is just as guilty. It might
- 9:28be the master man behind the whole thing, because both of them was at
- 9:33Our Kelly shows. Both of them was groupies for our Kelly. We know
- 9:37why. I will speak for me. I know a lot of grown men
- 9:39in Chicago who was more groupy for our Kelly than women were. Oh yea
- 9:43to this day will still kiss that man feet. So I not too much
- 9:48on the mother because I feel like the father is just as guilty. They
- 9:50were incohus together, and it goes to prove what Our Kelly has been saying
- 9:54from day one, y'all are giving me. Y'all children, y'all are damn
- 9:58they're forcing your kids for me. Doesn't make him write at all, But
- 10:01they were definitely a part of it. And I actually have been hearing rumors
- 10:05that R. Kelly will be getting out soon on some technicality stuff, based
- 10:11on things like this. Yeah, that is that I have I have heard
- 10:13from the streets that they're like, our Kelly ain't gonna do that whole bid.
- 10:18He's not doing that whole bit. And if the only thing, if
- 10:20he doesn't do the whole bit. Now, let's just from a from a
- 10:22perspective of a person that knows it, I would, God, my guy,
- 10:28go get you some help, Go get you some help. Go get
- 10:31this demon up off you bro, and just lay low. Don't do the
- 10:35OJ Simpson thing, because I like the O. J. Simpson stuff is
- 10:37just atrocious, y'all. Just you can't even stand to see him at this
- 10:41point, and he always got something to say. But from a from a
- 10:45perspective of a person that knows, R Kelly, man, go get yourself
- 10:48some help if you do get out, when you make when you do get
- 10:50out. But for as far as like you said, the parents, and
- 10:54I mean, I'll just say, alleged for purposes. This is not the
- 10:58first time this happened. No, this is not the second time this has
- 11:01happened. There has been plenty of people again that have served their kids up,
- 11:07served up their kids and maybe themselves to try to achieve fame and money.
- 11:11It is the wildest thing I've ever seen. It does It does not
- 11:15stop in the music industry. It does not stop with entertainment. Entertainment is
- 11:20a wild place and people will do anything to get in it. Yes,
- 11:24and it still happening to this day in Hollywood. Yeah, and I know
- 11:28that, like you you were asking this to Dad involved. Absolutely when I
- 11:31saw that, when I saw the text messages, Dad has to know where
- 11:35he has to because you know what, because he was sitting right next to
- 11:37her, fake crime and acting fake mad too, talking about because we were
- 11:41all trying to figure it out, like what you mean you don't know where
- 11:43your daughter is? What you mean he's got a trap and he's got her.
- 11:46I would have never even not to interrupt you. I'm sorry, No,
- 11:50I would have never even. I never thought the parents were innocent from
- 11:54day one. Never thought because that's like a I have a twelve year old
- 11:58daughter or fourteen year old daughter, and my daughter just gets with the King
- 12:03of R and B. So my daughter is like, how she get to
- 12:05the concert? Why would I take my daughter to the concert. How did
- 12:09she get to R Kelly? How did she get backstage? As a parent,
- 12:13my MoMA wouldn't even let me go to the Millennium to about myself.
- 12:16You know what she shouldn't because we know what I was trying to do anyway,
- 12:28Like I don't know. It's just like these little girls, the parents
- 12:31was all in the mix and they all need to go to jail. They
- 12:35I've said it before, like and this is and I want you to hold
- 12:37you rule of any man um. I'm telling you, bro, do you
- 12:43never let your girl go backstage. Backstage is for people that's working. Shit
- 12:48you ain't then it's working backstage. It's not you're the girl that's not need
- 12:52to be backstage. Your young daughter. I got young daughters. They're like,
- 12:56no, no, that I'm working. I'm not gonna be watching Chris
- 13:01Brown try to hilight my daughter. Because I gotta tell Chris Brown he could
- 13:05talk to a NASC twenties is fine, That's what I'm saying. But I'm
- 13:09saying I'm not gonna put you can't serve you, You just you just can't
- 13:11serve it. It's something nasty about setting your daughter out. Something you're literally
- 13:18setting your daughter out, and it's like this ain't Justin Bieber. We talked
- 13:22about so we didn't take your you to take your daughter backstage to meet Justin
- 13:24you took your daughter backstation and meet thought king of R and B, who
- 13:28has been sexual since his first single. It ain't like R Kelly was a
- 13:33child. It's not like he didn't like in the Lange sex stage and married
- 13:39a live that we had proof of. So like, how in the how
- 13:43in twenty twenty or twenty two thousand and one, whatever that's happened, how
- 13:48did you think it was okay for your daughter to be introduced to R Kelly?
- 13:50I just don't because they know this is the thing. Though they know
- 13:54I'm gonna this is the thing. R Kelly is like Drake in that way
- 14:01of all you need is that if Drake look at Young Blue when we were
- 14:05talking about Young Blue without the first record with Drake, that's true. Yeah,
- 14:09that's true. The me goes Drake, Yes, Drake. Drake then
- 14:13put on so many people, and R Kelly had that same has that same
- 14:20type of power. Jay Z didn't have that real kind of I mean,
- 14:24yeah, stay property guys. Yeah, I had to give them credit for
- 14:28that. But it's very few people that by lining themselves with which you can
- 14:33give you a career. Yeah. That and that's and that's all they knew.
- 14:37They knew. Our Kelly writes it, Our Kelly sings it. It's
- 14:41over with, it's done, no matter. Look at stone in mind.
- 14:45If I stroke you up, I had one record that fast, ye,
- 14:56I mean that's true. I I just if I ain't gonna watch y'all.
- 15:01I don't know if I should say this, say it. It's a safe
- 15:03space, Okay. I ain't gonna lie. Our Kelly get out. I'm
- 15:07gonna be looking forward to that next album. I want you to say,
- 15:11I am gonna be looking forward to that album. Not do another album?
- 15:16You crazy? If our Kelly get out? What's the point of our Kelly
- 15:18get now? He can't make music. No, he can't do another he
- 15:22can't do it. It's like Bill Cosby, like you just got away?
- 15:26When he can make an album, you gonna go? Who wanted to go?
- 15:30See Bill? He actually was putting women to sleep as sexually well.
- 15:33First of all, Bill could sell out a Cobty tour if he wanted to.
- 15:39He don't know if he wanted to go. The only thing about Bill
- 15:41Cosby is eighty something. He's just coming back now. I can't see.
- 15:45We don't want to support Bill. Our Kelly. If our Kelly drops an
- 15:48album. It's up, I would like guys against it, okay, and
- 15:52then listen you see what he did. I would see the type about five
- 15:56to ten years, five a strong, five years, relax, maybe do
- 16:02some quiet writing quality right for people, ghost get my money back quality.
- 16:07I would give my folks a playing quality right for people, or thought doing
- 16:11that anyway. Right now? He might be the Brothers songs that's out right
- 16:15now, I believe not. I know. I Kelly when I hit and
- 16:22the last couple of hits they had had, that's cal I was writing all
- 16:26A few other people got some kills hits too. What I ain't gonna say
- 16:27now, Kelly, I believe. I believe he might be in jail,
- 16:33pitted up some stuff, planting, you know, put the music. I
- 16:37gotta hear this, Kelly. Kelly is still writing music. I just say
- 16:40that, well, okay, put the phone, get the phone to Kelly
- 16:47like this, And I said, the funny thing is that, see I
- 16:53you gonna have beachelling Kelly story. What please, Kelly? This one thing?
- 16:59So you're talking to calls in the music sense of it everybody. And
- 17:03he literally told me and shagged tons of like when he would call Whitney Houston
- 17:07and Michael Jackson. So I was like, so, how does that go?
- 17:11Like you just like He's like, how you say? You know,
- 17:14I don't really write a lot of stuff down. I write my little notes.
- 17:17And he said, but they got a sing it like I tell them
- 17:18to sing it. If they don't sing it how they tell him to sing
- 17:19it, then I don't want to work with you. I'm like, damn
- 17:22you, Michael Jackson. Yeah, I told Mike that was damn Yeah,
- 17:26he does. But that's what you got r Kelly there for. I mean,
- 17:29that's true, that's but in my mind, I just and he doesn't.
- 17:33He's not a writer like you know, he doesn't write a like you
- 17:34don't know how to write, write non read. I've seen him right and
- 17:37we not for real, for real have no I'm pretty sure, but I
- 17:41don't can't. I mean, with my own two eyes, write shit out
- 17:48and read shit, okay, but I don't see him writing out. That
- 17:52was them trying to add, trying to make us feel sorry for him to
- 17:56read something. Bill CONSTI get into jail. He couldn't see I'm legally blind.
- 18:03I was really like, I mean, and I gonna say I'm not
- 18:07an R. Kelly apologist if by any mean, Yeah, no, I'm
- 18:10not. But the fact to try to act like this man is an imbecile
- 18:14and he's just happened to have this great talent to write music. I'm not
- 18:17going on it, bro, because I've seen him. He's not a dumb
- 18:19dude, Okay, except when he makes decisions like decision making. Decision making
- 18:23is beyond question right, all right, let's go ahead, get to this.
- 18:26Speaking of questionable decisions. Uh, let me ask you this question.
- 18:32We saw the whole thing with the White House stuff, and we saw it,
- 18:34uh with the with the LSU players and you know, and I will
- 18:38play. Was you still after all of that mess went down? Would you
- 18:42go to the White House or would you miss the opportunity? Me? Yeah,
- 18:47I'm gonna absolutely gone. I'm going. I'm gonna go. I'm gonna
- 18:51come to Yoe House and I'm gonna order up everything on the White House mean
- 18:53you, And I'm gonna put my feet on Yoe table and I'm gonna turn
- 18:56on BT on all the TVs, and i'm gonna going to I'm gonna have
- 19:00a selfie, Sue. I'm gonna live it up at the White House and
- 19:03then I'm going home. You're not gonna trick me out of my opportunity that
- 19:07I earned. Just as much as this is your house, it's also my
- 19:10house. My ancestors built it. It's on their backs. So I'm absolutely
- 19:12going to the White House and I'm gonna order every goddamn thing or the mean
- 19:17you times too. I'm gonna take all the selfies. I'm gonna steal something
- 19:19out of that too, Okay. I'm leaving up out of that with well,
- 19:23Hey, I'm still a song gonna be in my bro I'm coming up
- 19:33out of that with Obama, pion or some I want something from the White
- 19:37House. And I'm gonna also play this up and make you address me,
- 19:41Miss Jill Biden. I want to ask you, why did you think that
- 19:44that was okay to invite another team, the losing team? UM, after
- 19:48I fought for the victory. Why did you think that was okay? Let's
- 19:51have this conversation because it's too She was too comfortable, in my opinion,
- 19:56to do that. If it was a super and Tom Brady just won the
- 20:00championship, you're gonna invite um, y'all don't know. I don't know Jaylen
- 20:06hurts him to the White House at the same time, you would never do
- 20:08that. But because I'm a black woman and you don't feel like you really
- 20:11don't feel like I deserve this, you thought that was okay. So now
- 20:15we got to address that and I'm gonna live it up at the White House.
- 20:18I absolutely am. Come on, now, Zach, what about you?
- 20:21Pro black Zach? You know you know how pro black Zac thought about
- 20:23it. You know, I really thought about this and uh, first of
- 20:26all, it's the White House, so they don't want ustand no way,
- 20:29okay. But but outside of that, I thought it was really um.
- 20:37I thought it was really mature of Angel to decide to go because he was
- 20:41like, my team wants to go. I'm riding with my team. Let's
- 20:45not forget it is a team sport. I understand it all became about Angel
- 20:48and Caitlin, but the LSU Tigers won, okay, and it wasn't just
- 20:52Angel versus the Caitlyn girl. Okay. So to deprive your you know,
- 20:59you don't want all the attention is already went to you and stuff, so
- 21:02you kind of have to just be like, yeah, let's go to the
- 21:03White House. And if y'all go, I'm gonna go. You know what
- 21:07I'm saying. Jill was absolutely one hundred percent wrong in what she said,
- 21:11But at the same time, it wasn't anything to make me skip the White
- 21:14House. I actually actually would want to do a Kiki said and rub it
- 21:17in your face. You know what I'm saying. Now, I am here,
- 21:19how y'all doing. I'm knocking stuff over? Yeah, you know what
- 21:22I'm saying. We're gonna have a good time. But I'm walking on the
- 21:25ground. Yeah, yeah, down, walking on the line bad. Yeah,
- 21:29I ain't know. I'm definitely taking a crapping out. Yeah. It's
- 21:33gotta be some stuff that's that's gonna be happening. Jill, were your pillow?
- 21:36Mm? Well your pillow. You're gonna get this. I've got my
- 21:40game war in Jersey for you. You know what I'm saying. But the
- 21:42thing is on another level, I think that Jill Jill really has ruined this
- 21:48election, re election for Joe. You know what I'm saying. Black people
- 21:52was already Let's tell the truth, black people already on the fence with Joe
- 21:56Biden. We don't know what Kamal is. We didn't even vote for Joe
- 21:59Biden. Where we voted, We voted, where the hell is Kamala?
- 22:06And we voted for her. She already was like, nope, I'm getting
- 22:11to hell on. She got on. I ain't never seen nobody so active
- 22:15the like the last thirty days of her campaign and then fade to zero activity.
- 22:21We don't know what. I look for her on Instagram. You know
- 22:22how long it took me to find her Instagram? Not even Kamala. It's
- 22:26v P. That's it. That's what a name is on Instagram. I
- 22:30can't even find no Instagram. Bro. It's bro. It's such a big
- 22:34deal to have a female, a black woman, vice president. It's such
- 22:38a big deal. But she is going to go down in history as the
- 22:42vice president that no one saw. I ain't mad at her mess with dude,
- 22:48that's the whole thing, buddy. She is not. That is a
- 22:51that's black woman's stuff. That is that's black. When you want to know
- 22:55how a black woman don't mess with you, she ain't gonna be around you.
- 22:57That's it. She don't messing with them. She can't even she can't
- 23:02even be around buddy. It is no time to even see doing the speech
- 23:06she backed a chilling. Only when she got to we had UFOs, she
- 23:10ain't said nothing, Yeah, black women, Jill Biden. This is what
- 23:15I thought she's gonna pop up. Honestly, I get it. I get
- 23:18it, And I ain't saying she was supposed to contradict the first lady.
- 23:22But I felt like we was gonna hear something from a little bit congratulating both
- 23:27teams on a great time. She didn't even do that. She just like,
- 23:33I'm out of it. She ain't saying nothing, Joe, I mean
- 23:34nothing. I'm look, I'm gonna I'm gonna if I see I hope to
- 23:37see man and vice president at the essence fast, I'm gonna give a hug
- 23:41for it, like yo, I get it. No, I don't.
- 23:45I don't feel that way about her. I'm not. I'm not a fan,
- 23:48right. I feel endued. I feel endeared to Michelle and barat you.
- 23:53I can't. I feel no connection to Kamala. I don't. I
- 23:56think I ain't gonna lie to you. I think she. I don't think
- 23:59she real Zach, that's ps, that's not she did this to be the
- 24:03first not honk. Honest, you don't think if I had to look at
- 24:07the situation from just being look looking at it, I think she did it
- 24:11to be the first black woman vice president so they could she could start that
- 24:17trend and eventually be something more. She it had to be at She already
- 24:21knew. She didn't write something. This is not how you get more first
- 24:23lady black first lady presidents by not doing nothing. Do nothing. We just
- 24:29don't see. We don't know what she's doing. And I don't blame her
- 24:32because let me tell you why, because as a black woman, she probably
- 24:36worked so damn hard to even get on the ballot to get to that point.
- 24:40She tied. If I was in the White House and I got up
- 24:42in there, I ain't doing not either, you know why, because I
- 24:47had to fight for my life to get in here. I'm tad. So
- 24:48now I'm just gonna see it and look pretty next to you. She was
- 24:52black during the election when they needed the black vote, when we needed the
- 24:55black vote. She acted black as soon as she got in office. Then
- 24:57she started calling herself Asian paying age and she was. She did she caught
- 25:02herself. Yeah, she started not claiming all the way black. She was
- 25:04a black woman. She was an a k A from an HBCU when she
- 25:07was running. She got in there and then you know, she started saying
- 25:11she's Asian, so she can't say she did. She started saying she was
- 25:15a Howard. The she she the Howard. Yeah, she went to Howard.
- 25:19Oh that's a founder chapter. That's an hour chapter. Ak. And
- 25:23I'm not even gonna say the last thing. I'll tell y'all off, Mike
- 25:26of my my real beef. But oh, she to me she had to
- 25:30like a work from home job. You know how you work from you win
- 25:34the mice, the mouse a little bit. You know, I'm here,
- 25:37man, She got her laptop. You getting box braids? You got she
- 25:45get boxed braids in four years. That's not right now, Like all the
- 25:48way as I got my l time, I just looked at this situation that
- 25:55said, you know what, I'm cool on it. And that's what I
- 25:57think. I think. That's not how you you look at the situation and
- 26:00try to make some change. Cat, she came the first lady. See
- 26:07this is this is my issue to see this, This really bothers me,
- 26:10This really pisses me off. HBCUs act is here now. I just found
- 26:19this folded. You gotta let us from Jesse is happening. Now, that's
- 26:32something else. Okay. What makes me really upset, though, guys,
- 26:40is that when our people let us down in office, we don't just say
- 26:48they let us down. We always say what they couldn't do, that's our
- 26:52thing. They can't do nothing about that. Well, they can do something,
- 26:56because that's the way they was talking when they was running for office.
- 26:59What we have have to stop doing it's just being satisfied with the black face.
- 27:03We have to be satisfied with some actual change and hold the black face
- 27:07accountable. Okay, because I know when Trump was in office, it was
- 27:10sold. It was a whole bunch of presidential orders, getting them signed immediately.
- 27:14Biden sat there, looked us in the face and told us we're not
- 27:17black if we don't vote for him. Then turned around the first weekend office
- 27:21signed the Asian Hate Bill, no hate to the Asians. But the Asians
- 27:25had only been getting hate for a year from COVID. But he signed that
- 27:29immediately. Okay, no legislation for our people. Yet we sitting here with
- 27:33a black vice president and everybody gonna say, oh, he can't do nothing.
- 27:37We gotta stop that. We gotta stop that. You can do something.
- 27:41Everybody else can do something, but you give us something. We ain't
- 27:45got one piece of legislation for us, name it. Gays got legislation,
- 27:52Asians got legislation, Indian burial grounds got legislation. Yeah, and we have
- 28:00nothing. Come on, man, and and you are right on all points.
- 28:04But I still have to believe in this point, right, because that
- 28:10is the highest office you can achieve. And I felt like rocking uh and
- 28:17Kama, these are and you know these are they are breaking there, the
- 28:21first to do something, and I feel like it's the same way. Kind
- 28:23of like a Jackie Robinson. Jackie Robinson when he got into the Majors,
- 28:29he was people kind of was on him because he wasn't aka what they thought
- 28:33should be black enough, and he wasn't doing a number. When he got
- 28:36out the Majors, he definitely was like yo, we and he was all
- 28:41about change. But he was the first, so it kind of limited what
- 28:45he could do. He just wanted to be in there so he could be
- 28:48like, look, we belong here. And I think that's the same thing
- 28:51with then we're breaking new ground now to the point of not having any legislation,
- 28:56and we had to know too as a fact of this, and I
- 29:00wanted to get this across. Is that why I was mad about at the
- 29:04first lady. I was upset where I thought like I probably wouldn't have gone,
- 29:07or maybe I guess it's a team sport I could have got talked into.
- 29:11It is the fact that yo is that I get. I personally get
- 29:15upset because black people out the only people that they try to tell how to
- 29:19feel. Yes, we are, try to act. It's still like a
- 29:22little slavey on it. They want to tell us how to act, how
- 29:26to celebrate, how we should, how we should. I mean he had
- 29:29grown ass men calling a woman that's in her twenties are basically young enough to
- 29:33be there. Those guys that was calling her pieces of ass and she and
- 29:37dumb asses and all of that, Well, it's young enough to be their
- 29:41daughters. When you talking to her like she crazy, and that's nuts calling
- 29:45out of names. It's many other ways to say, hey, you can
- 29:48win, better, be a better sport. You calling all out of name,
- 29:52it's nuts. Um. So I felt like I just felt like that
- 29:56as a as a country, we had to learn how to let people be
- 30:03who they are, let black people be who who they are. We don't
- 30:06tell. I said it's on the radio before, like we don't tell We
- 30:08don't tell people, for Irish and Siting how to celebrate Saint Patrick's Day.
- 30:12We don't tell people how to celebrate the um that what's what is the Chinese
- 30:18New Year? We don't show up and no other cultures. Single to Mayo,
- 30:22we don't tell our Mexican homies how to how to celebrate Single to Mayo,
- 30:26don't tell us how to celebrate anything. Don't tell us how we're supposed
- 30:29to act. As long as we're having a good time, let us be
- 30:32cool and to the point of like no legislation. And I wanted to make
- 30:34real quick is that is that I think it's coming. I think it's coming.
- 30:41I do think it's coming. I have faith in that. Years later,
- 30:48Yeah, y'all both make really good valid points. I just feel like,
- 30:52like I understand because we was mad at Barrock for the first his whole
- 30:55first term. He ain't doing this, he ain't doing that. He but
- 30:57it's it's so much more than just that position. It's all different, Like
- 31:02you do have to have things working together. Trump was able to get a
- 31:03lot of things done because everybody's racist, they're all they all agree. He
- 31:08Congress, senators, all these people aren't just like him. So it's much
- 31:12easier for him to get things done when you're not on that team. Zact,
- 31:17Seriously, it's harder. No, it's not. Okay, let me
- 31:21tell you something. These people are bagged by Democratic by political parties, just
- 31:25like Trump was. Trump got a lot of stuff blocks too. Okay,
- 31:29he didn't get everything. He wasn't done, but he did. He flexed
- 31:30his power to the utmost because he didn't care. Okay, I'm not asking
- 31:34him to be like Trump, That's not what I'm asking. All I'm saying
- 31:37is time after time, the Democrats leave us out to dry. Yo,
- 31:44I agree, I agree. And that's to be the issue the power.
- 31:48The Republicans just back Trump even though they don't like them. A lot of
- 31:52them don't like them, you know what I'm saying. But once he became
- 31:55their representative, they went behind them whatever he said and didn't talk stuff behind
- 31:59his back. Democrats what they do is grab a black face, put us
- 32:02in there, get us all riled up, tell us everybody else's racist,
- 32:06and then leave us to dry time after time. And so now I think
- 32:09our generations, especially Kiki, we've had a chance to vote for three presidents
- 32:14election, three elections. I think so since we've been able to vote,
- 32:17least like old enough to vote, our generation tone now has been able to
- 32:23see the war, We've seen the game. Now see our first time vote.
- 32:27We was excited black President Obama. Right, we heard about how bad
- 32:30Bush was, saw Trump right now, we saw Biden. Now we're like,
- 32:36hold on now, Now this fourth time I get a chance to vote,
- 32:39you got to show me something more than telling me he's racist and he's
- 32:44black, right and he likes and he's not Racis our local politicians accountable?
- 32:49You gotta hold your senators accountable, You gotta hold your congress accountable. I
- 32:52think what we do is wait till there's a high position like a VP or
- 32:57a president, and we like waiting on them to make all these changers.
- 33:00But we don't even go out and vote for our local people who are a
- 33:02part of this whole change to make our changes happen. That's that's that's the
- 33:07missing piece. And I think we put so much anger on a VP,
- 33:09but you ain't keeping that same energy for your local mayor or your senator or
- 33:14your representative that's down there, like you gotta have that same energy across the
- 33:17board to make changes happen. That's all I'm saying. You do have to
- 33:21have that same energy. Accountable man Brandon Johnson. But yeah, who shout
- 33:23out to may and Brandon Johnson. But but the thing is those people aren't
- 33:28campaigned to us. We don't. You never you don't see the commercial of
- 33:31the senator from your what's the name? And it's probably a reason for that,
- 33:36you know what. I'm We're going to ignorant. We're going to the
- 33:38voting booth blind and that and that's on us. We know president vice president.
- 33:44Once we get to the other stuff that's on that ballot, we be
- 33:47guessing like A yes, we'll be like I don't know him. Oh well
- 33:53it's a D by him his name, so you just go by, well,
- 33:57I know Democrat, Black vote vot vote for Democrat. Now you may
- 34:00not know this. You might have been putting somebody in it's gonna do something
- 34:02that you're against, So we don't know. My solution is not with politics.
- 34:09In my opinion, I'm going to ABC you back. But I just
- 34:15I just feel like until black people are independent, you know, until we
- 34:20pull our resources together and are independent and do not need them, that's when
- 34:27stuff will change. That's the only time stuff will change. But as long
- 34:30as they can get us riled up with racism, we will will fly off
- 34:34the handle. It doesn't matter if you say, somebody racists, we're done
- 34:36and you never have you ever heard anybody campaign for the Asian vote? Have
- 34:39you ever heard that? Have you ever heard man, I really need the
- 34:45Asian hate the Asians. But I'm saying, have you ever heard a president
- 34:49and be like, yo, you're not Asian if you don't vote for me.
- 34:51They don't even campaign to them. But that was one of the first
- 34:53people that got something done in Biden's administration because they know at least they know
- 35:00how to get stuff done. Obviously, the Asian community, they know how
- 35:05to move the needle. You go out here in Chicago, you go to
- 35:07Chinatown, there's a whole town, like the whole part of the city that's
- 35:12ran by them that they and they run their stuff tight. We don't have
- 35:16that. I just need and that's on us, Like that's what I'm saying,
- 35:20Like we no, it's not just don't see, it's easy for us
- 35:22to say it's on us yourself to make an educated vote. I'm gonna push
- 35:30back on this one, and not to just not not trying to change it
- 35:34to a race issue, but for a very long time, and it still
- 35:37happens. I mean, we've seen it in the way people get their housings
- 35:40and pray houses are praised, and and and business loans. Um. For
- 35:45a very long time, Black people couldn't even get small business own loans to
- 35:51open up their own businesses in their own communities. You gotta think about it.
- 35:54We weren't able to get it. What like, we weren't capable like
- 35:57everybody in the hood and have a good credit score they are. We all
- 36:00got bad credit scores. And we all got this because you see in our
- 36:04neighborhoods that there are people outside of our neighborhoods or from not from our neighborhoods
- 36:09that are thriving businesses in our neighborhood because they was able to take advantage of
- 36:15as food, the mobile stores, the corner stores, the groceries. We
- 36:20weren't able to get those loans. They Oh, I'm not speaking about that.
- 36:23I'm speaking about educated voting. That's it. Resources And no, no,
- 36:29no, that's I mean, they've set us up to me. I'm
- 36:32not saying nothing about the resources. I'm talking about you just have to make
- 36:36an educated vote. When you talk about politicians and you're mad that the VP
- 36:39isn't doing this, and then the third if you voted for her, then
- 36:43you need to ask yourself why you made that decision. And it don't just
- 36:46start with presidents. It starts with your local government. That we a lot
- 36:50of times go in blind and ignore. That was my point. We agree
- 36:53when it comes to resources, communities, things that underprivileged areas in the city,
- 36:58how other communities together, how all of the businesses and black neighborhoods are
- 37:02run by ages or Arabic people. We agree when it comes to that.
- 37:07I'm just saying that when he's saying, like the VP, it is we
- 37:10have to make educated votes and we have to put people in the bright places,
- 37:14and we now have the opportunity to do that. If we're not educating
- 37:17ourself about it, it's we can't hold nobody else accountable. If you're admitting
- 37:21that you're going into vote the voting booth guessing, then how you mad at
- 37:23the VP? You gotta if you're guessing on the damn voting sheet you help
- 37:28to make a decision. Yeah, I guess, because I think voting is
- 37:30the last thing we have to do. You know what I'm saying. I
- 37:32look at it like voting is it. That's not where the solutions are.
- 37:37You know what I'm saying, in my opinion, as a solution, if
- 37:43you not voting for the right you vote not vote for the right person.
- 37:46Have we ever had a Chinese mayor in Chicago? How can you be mad?
- 37:51I'm not even worried about none of that. I'm just saying, this
- 37:52is the thing. This is why, let's just bring up the man in
- 37:54Chicago, perfect example. Let's just let's take it local. Then Yeah,
- 37:59I'm gonna maryor Chicago. This is what I'm said, Mayor of Chicago,
- 38:01Right. This is my personal belief about it, And this is what I
- 38:06believe about the next coming election cycles. I believe that the next coming election
- 38:14cycles are going to be they're gonna work more favorable towards black folks because I
- 38:19think people are becoming more educated. That's why I think Mayor Brandon Johnson got
- 38:24in. I think they people took a really hard look at his competitor and
- 38:30they looked at him, and they went down and they dug deep. They
- 38:32didn't just depend on the commercials. I think they really dug deep. And
- 38:37it's like, what are you gonna do for us? What are you saying
- 38:40you're gonna do for us? What have you said in your past? What
- 38:44have you done in the past. Like the fact that our president called black
- 38:47people superpredators, it's nuts well in a sense, he called superpredators. And
- 38:53so my thing is this is that um, it's gonna become because of social
- 39:00media, because of everything that's out there, their amount of information is out
- 39:04there. It's going to allow people to make more educated votes. I feel
- 39:07like this next presidential cycle, who ever gets whoever becomes the Democratic or Republican
- 39:15nominee, they are going to have, They're going to people are going to
- 39:19dig deep into everything that they got going on and make it more informed decision.
- 39:23Like I said, like ice Q where he said that he had that
- 39:25contract, Like, Yo, what you're gonna do for black people? Bro?
- 39:29And then I ain't gonna lie when when he said when when ice Cube
- 39:32said Joe Biden wouldn't even take a meeting with him, I said, oh
- 39:36no, it's over with it's over with and that was just my thought.
- 39:40But but we will vote for the person because you know what I'm saying,
- 39:45I think that was the last time people are gonna do that. I think
- 39:49I think that's I think that's why I said, That's why I brought up
- 39:51it's our third time. We didn't know that's our generation's third time voting.
- 39:55And now we're sitting here thinking looking like, oh, y'all kind of got
- 39:58us messed up. Y'all think it's sweet you think you can just say anything
- 40:00to us and not hold hold us accountable. But guess what, whoever the
- 40:06next election, Like, Okay, I'm doing my homework. Come on,
- 40:08I don't care. I don't care if you're Republican. I don't care if
- 40:12you're Democrat. I want to know what you playing on doing. But us
- 40:15now, for really, I ain't gonna lie say it again. Trump had
- 40:21it pop. I ain't saying he right. But all I know is we
- 40:24hadn't got it. We had we gotta Stanny Cincy Man go he free cod
- 40:30that we had Stimmy ain't saying some messed up stuff. Ain't did. But
- 40:36guess what we was outside gas was a dollar? Hain't it three man,
- 40:40we was out here rolling. I had no spaceships. All right, look
- 40:46what no just UFOs. Trump would have had a problem. They got us
- 40:53that stuff, and I want to let chin to know do it one more
- 40:59time. We've we're blowing your whole, your whole country up. How you
- 41:06feel about that? Joe Biden came through. It took him for five days
- 41:09to even shoot it down. Trump would have shot it down. It wouldn't
- 41:13even like we got what overwear she's shooting down. It's getting shot down.
- 41:16He's over there now shooting now. It had been done immediately. Oh my
- 41:21god, let's get out of here on this. I'm gonna get Cardi b
- 41:24U great, yeah, Cardi, Now you know what. I'm closing the
- 41:29pot up. Man, you can't really after that. It's nothing else you
- 41:30can say. Really, we just we had a great pod. So let's
- 41:32get to it. Final thoughts, Kiki, Um, y'all stressed me out
- 41:37today, drained me um love y'all pot film, that's all I got.
- 41:42What do you mean we stressed you out? Why? Why? Cousin Kamala,
- 41:46Yes, we loved stressed you out. You gotta put an air tag
- 41:52on to what is adin't had done? Was she working from home? Zach?
- 42:00Final thoughts, bro don't like HBCUSA, No, I do like HBCU,
- 42:05Zach. I just don't want you to tell tell people don't get informed
- 42:07about their vote. They should like, there's no reason we should be guessing
- 42:12judges, but we do. We do, we know, but I'll be
- 42:15googling. But you do need to know because that's that's the judge that's gonna
- 42:17lock your cousin up for twenty years. That's the judge that's, you know,
- 42:21locking black kids up for weeks. So what are they? What are
- 42:23they about? What are they all? You know? That's so that's yeah.
- 42:28Final thoughts, is that's it, Jesus, we bought politics up on
- 42:31the pod things got serious kick in exactly. They don't like each other,
- 42:36this this this pop but we'll fix it. Don't worry about it. We'll
