  I've
• 1:02
  got
• 1:02
  a
• 1:02
  teacup
• 1:03
  here
• 1:03
  if
• 1:03
  you're

  not

• 1:03
  me

  We

  are

  available

• 1:06
  but

  if
• 1:07
  I
• 1:07
  didn't
• 1:07
  have
• 1:07
  this
• 1:07
  handle,
• 1:08
  I'd
• 1:08
  be
• 1:08
  in
• 1:08
  trouble.
• 1:10
  And
• 1:10
  see
• 1:11
  Smart
• 1:11
  goals
• 1:11
  turn
• 1:12
  vision
• 1:12
  into

  today,
• 1:14
  let's
• 1:14
  stop
• 1:14
  chasing

  building
• 1:17
  traction
• 1:17
  on

  today's

• 1:39
  Hello
• 1:39
  and
• 1:40
  welcome.
• 1:40
  I'm
• 1:40
  Ralph.
• 1:41
  Thank
• 1:41
  you
• 1:41
  for
• 1:41
  joining
• 1:41
  me
• 1:41
  on

• 1:44
  Every

• 1:44
  My
• 1:44
  goal
• 1:45
  is
• 1:45
  to
• 1:45
  help
• 1:45
  you
• 1:45
  break
• 1:45
  that
• 1:46
  cycle
• 1:46
  of
• 1:46
  financial
• 1:47
  shame
• 1:47
  and
• 1:47
  do
• 1:48
  it
• 1:48
  with
• 1:48
  confidence.
• 1:49
  And
• 1:50
  I've
• 1:50
  spent
• 1:50
  30
• 1:50
  years
• 1:51
  helping
• 1:51
  people
• 1:51
  turn
• 1:51
  foggy
• 1:52
  financial
• 1:52
  wishes
• 1:53
  into
• 1:53
  wins.
• 1:55
  Listen,
• 1:55
  I
• 1:55
  personally
• 1:56
  learned
• 1:56
  that
• 1:56
  clarity
• 1:56
  creates
• 1:57
  consistency.
• 1:58
  In
• 1:59
  my
• 1:59
  best
• 1:59
  seasons.
• 2:00
  The
• 2:00
  times
• 2:00
  when
• 2:00
  I
• 2:00
  felt
• 2:00
  like
• 2:01
  I
• 2:01
  was
• 2:01
  really
• 2:01
  into
• 2:01
  my
• 2:02
  finances
• 2:02
  in
• 2:02
  the
• 2:03
  best
• 2:03
  way
• 2:04
  weren't
• 2:04
  busy.
• 2:05
  They
• 2:05
  were
• 2:05
  focused.
• 2:06
  Let
• 2:07
  me
• 2:07
  tell
• 2:07
  you
• 2:07
  about
• 2:07
  this
• 2:07
  listener.
• 2:08
  She
• 2:08
  sent
• 2:09
  me
• 2:09
  this
• 2:09
  email
• 2:09
  about
• 2:09
  a
• 2:10
  month
• 2:10
  ago.
• 2:10
  She
• 2:10
  said,
• 2:10
  ralph,
• 2:11
  I
• 2:11
  really
• 2:11
  want
• 2:11
  to
• 2:12
  save
• 2:12
  more.
• 2:13
  And
• 2:14
  when
• 2:14
  I
• 2:14
  got
• 2:14
  that
• 2:14
  email,
• 2:14
  I
• 2:14
  was
• 2:15
  like,
• 2:15
  oh,
• 2:15
  that's
• 2:15
  great.
• 2:15
  We
• 2:15
  want
• 2:15
  to
• 2:16
  save
• 2:16
  more.
• 2:16
  But
• 2:16
  I
• 2:16
  knew
• 2:16
  right
• 2:16
  away.
• 2:17
  I
• 2:17
  said,
• 2:17
  we
• 2:17
  got
• 2:17
  to
• 2:17
  fix
• 2:18
  this.
• 2:19
  We
• 2:19
  need
• 2:19
  to
• 2:19
  make
• 2:20
  it
• 2:20
  smart.
• 2:20
  I'm
• 2:20
  going
• 2:20
  to
• 2:20
  talk
• 2:21
  in
• 2:21
  a
• 2:21
  minute
• 2:21
  about
• 2:22
  what
• 2:22
  smart
• 2:22
  means.
• 2:22
  There's
• 2:23
  an
• 2:23
  acronym
• 2:23
  we're
• 2:23
  going
• 2:23
  to
• 2:23
  use
• 2:24
  today
• 2:24
  to
• 2:24
  help
• 2:24
  you
• 2:24
  make
• 2:24
  these
• 2:25
  better
• 2:25
  plans.
• 2:26
  So
• 2:27
  with
• 2:27
  her,
• 2:27
  I
• 2:27
  said,
• 2:28
  how
• 2:28
  much
• 2:28
  do
• 2:28
  you
• 2:28
  want
• 2:28
  to
• 2:29
  save?
• 2:29
  She
• 2:29
  goes,
• 2:29
  ralph,
• 2:29
  I
• 2:30
  really
• 2:30
  want
• 2:30
  to
• 2:30
  save
• 2:30
  $1,200.
• 2:32
  I
• 2:32
  said,
• 2:32
  great.
• 2:33
  What's
• 2:33
  your
• 2:33
  time
• 2:34
  frame?
• 2:34
  She
• 2:34
  goes,
• 2:34
  I'd
• 2:34
  like
• 2:34
  to
• 2:34
  do
• 2:34
  it
• 2:35
  by
• 2:35
  the
• 2:35
  end
• 2:35
  of
• 2:35
  the
• 2:35
  year.
• 2:36
  I
• 2:36
  said,
• 2:36
  perfect.
• 2:37
  Okay,
• 2:37
  so
• 2:37
  we
• 2:37
  got
• 2:37
  to
• 2:37
  save
• 2:38
  $1,200,
• 2:39
  and
• 2:39
  we
• 2:39
  got
• 2:39
  12
• 2:39
  months
• 2:40
  to
• 2:40
  do
• 2:40
  it.
• 2:40
  That
• 2:40
  means
• 2:41
  we
• 2:41
  need
• 2:41
  to
• 2:41
  put
• 2:41
  a
• 2:41
  hundred
• 2:41
  dollars
• 2:42
  a
• 2:42
  month
• 2:42
  in
• 2:42
  an
• 2:42
  emergency
• 2:43
  account.
• 2:44
  Well,
• 2:44
  guess
• 2:45
  what?
• 2:46
  It
• 2:46
  was
• 2:47
  smart.
• 2:47
  She
• 2:48
  measured
• 2:48
  it.
• 2:48
  And
• 2:48
  guess
• 2:48
  what?
• 2:48
  She
• 2:49
  hit
• 2:49
  that
• 2:49
  goal
• 2:49
  in
• 2:49
  October.
• 2:52
  She
• 2:52
  didn't
• 2:52
  change
• 2:52
  her
• 2:52
  job.
• 2:54
  She
• 2:54
  changed
• 2:54
  her
• 2:55
  clarity.
• 2:56
  And
• 2:56
  see,
• 2:56
  that's
• 2:57
  where
• 2:57
  we
• 2:57
  have
• 2:57
  transformation
• 2:58
  through
• 2:58
  simplicity.
• 3:00
  So
• 3:00
  let's
• 3:00
  get
• 3:00
  back
• 3:01
  to
• 3:01
  our
• 3:01
  question
• 3:01
  today.
• 3:01
  How
• 3:02
  do
• 3:02
  we
• 3:02
  move
• 3:02
  from
• 3:02
  dreaming
• 3:03
  to
• 3:03
  doing?
• 3:03
  Because
• 3:04
  it's
• 3:04
  easy
• 3:04
  to
• 3:04
  dream
• 3:05
  things,
• 3:06
  but
• 3:06
  how
• 3:06
  do
• 3:06
  we
• 3:06
  make
• 3:06
  our
• 3:07
  goals
• 3:07
  specific
• 3:07
  enough
• 3:08
  for
• 3:08
  God
• 3:08
  to
• 3:08
  bless
• 3:09
  them
• 3:09
  and
• 3:09
  measurable
• 3:10
  enough
• 3:10
  for
• 3:11
  us
• 3:11
  to
• 3:11
  track
• 3:11
  them?
• 3:12
  Because
• 3:12
  we're
• 3:12
  talking
• 3:13
  today
• 3:13
  about
• 3:13
  shifting
• 3:14
  from
• 3:14
  emotion
• 3:15
  to
• 3:15
  Empowerment.
• 3:16
  Well,
• 3:16
  let's
• 3:16
  get
• 3:17
  into
• 3:17
  this
• 3:17
  idea
• 3:17
  of
• 3:18
  smart
• 3:18
  goals.
• 3:18
  That's
• 3:19
  S,
• 3:19
  M
• 3:19
  A
• 3:19
  R
• 3:20
  T.
• 3:20
  This
• 3:21
  is
• 3:21
  a
• 3:21
  way,
• 3:21
  a
• 3:21
  format
• 3:22
  that
• 3:22
  I've
• 3:22
  used
• 3:22
  many
• 3:22
  times.
• 3:23
  Let's
• 3:23
  jump
• 3:23
  right
• 3:23
  into
• 3:23
  it.
• 3:24
  Number
• 3:24
  one,
• 3:24
  you
• 3:24
  got
• 3:25
  to
• 3:25
  be
• 3:25
  specific.
• 3:27
  It's
• 3:27
  the
• 3:27
  what?
• 3:28
  See,
• 3:29
  vague
• 3:29
  dreams,
• 3:29
  those
• 3:30
  things
• 3:30
  that
• 3:30
  just.
• 3:30
  Oh,
• 3:31
  big
• 3:31
  pie
• 3:31
  in
• 3:31
  the
• 3:31
  sky
• 3:32
  things,
• 3:32
  they
• 3:32
  die
• 3:33
  in
• 3:33
  the
• 3:33
  fog.
• 3:34
  So
• 3:35
  don't
• 3:35
  just
• 3:35
  say,
• 3:35
  save
• 3:36
  more.
• 3:36
  When
• 3:36
  I
• 3:36
  got
• 3:36
  that
• 3:36
  email,
• 3:37
  I
• 3:37
  was
• 3:37
  like,
• 3:37
  oh,
• 3:37
  I
• 3:37
  gotta
• 3:37
  fix
• 3:38
  this.
• 3:38
  It's
• 3:39
  not
• 3:39
  just
• 3:39
  save
• 3:39
  more.
• 3:40
  Say
• 3:41
  what
• 3:41
  and
• 3:41
  where.
• 3:43
  Name
• 3:43
  the
• 3:43
  dollar
• 3:44
  amount.
• 3:44
  Name
• 3:44
  the
• 3:45
  destination
• 3:45
  account.
• 3:46
  So
• 3:46
  with
• 3:46
  her,
• 3:46
  what
• 3:46
  we
• 3:46
  did,
• 3:47
  we
• 3:47
  said,
• 3:47
  okay,
• 3:47
  you
• 3:47
  want
• 3:47
  to
• 3:47
  save
• 3:48
  $1,200
• 3:49
  by
• 3:49
  what
• 3:49
  period?
• 3:51
  We
• 3:51
  knew
• 3:51
  where
• 3:51
  the
• 3:51
  amount
• 3:52
  was,
• 3:52
  we
• 3:52
  knew
• 3:52
  what
• 3:52
  the
• 3:53
  destination
• 3:53
  was.
• 3:55
  Because
• 3:55
  the
• 3:55
  truth
• 3:55
  is,
• 3:55
  the
• 3:56
  clearer
• 3:56
  the
• 3:56
  target,
• 3:57
  the
• 3:57
  stronger
• 3:57
  your
• 3:58
  traction.
• 3:59
  You
• 3:59
  can't
• 3:59
  hit
• 4:00
  what
• 4:00
  you
• 4:00
  don't
• 4:00
  name.
• 4:00
  So
• 4:01
  start
• 4:01
  off
• 4:01
  with
• 4:01
  S
• 4:02
  for
• 4:02
  smart.
• 4:03
  Number
• 4:03
  two.
• 4:03
  Measurable.
• 4:04
  That's
• 4:05
  the
• 4:05
  number.
• 4:06
  I
• 4:06
  say
• 4:06
  this
• 4:07
  on
• 4:07
  the
• 4:07
  show
• 4:07
  all
• 4:07
  the
• 4:07
  time.
• 4:07
  What
• 4:08
  gets
• 4:08
  tracked
• 4:08
  grows.
• 4:09
  What
• 4:09
  gets
• 4:09
  tracked
• 4:10
  gets
• 4:10
  accomplished.
• 4:12
  See,
• 4:12
  faith
• 4:12
  doesn't
• 4:13
  fear
• 4:13
  numbers.
• 4:14
  So
• 4:15
  assign
• 4:15
  a
• 4:15
  real
• 4:15
  figure,
• 4:16
  even
• 4:16
  if
• 4:16
  it's
• 4:16
  small.
• 4:16
  Hey,
• 4:17
  listen,
• 4:17
  you
• 4:17
  might
• 4:17
  say,
• 4:17
  Ralph,
• 4:18
  I'm
• 4:18
  never
• 4:18
  going
• 4:18
  to
• 4:18
  save
• 4:19
  $1200,
• 4:19
  man.
• 4:20
  I'd
• 4:20
  really
• 4:20

• 4:23
  Okay,
• 4:23
  great.
• 4:24
  You
• 4:24
  got
• 4:24
  six
• 4:25
  months.
• 4:25
  How
• 4:25
  much
• 4:25
  do
• 4:25
  you
• 4:26
  need
• 4:26
  to
• 4:26
  set
• 4:26
  aside?
• 4:27
  Because
• 4:27
  I
• 4:28
  truly
• 4:28
  believe
• 4:28
  this
• 4:28
  at
• 4:29
  my
• 4:29
  core,
• 4:29
  God
• 4:30
  multiplies
• 4:30
  what
• 4:30
  you
• 4:31
  monitor.
• 4:32
  And
• 4:32
  when
• 4:32
  you
• 4:33
  have
• 4:33
  that
• 4:33
  progress,
• 4:33
  it
• 4:34
  sort
• 4:34
  of
• 4:34
  feeds
• 4:34
  on
• 4:35
  itself.
• 4:35
  That
• 4:36
  motivation
• 4:36
  will
• 4:37
  grow.
• 4:37
  Because
• 4:38
  you
• 4:38
  feel
• 4:38
  that
• 4:38
  measurement,
• 4:39
  you
• 4:39
  feel
• 4:39
  like
• 4:39
  getting
• 4:39
  somewhere.
• 4:40
  Like
• 4:40
  I'm
• 4:40
  on
• 4:40
  a
• 4:40
  diet.
• 4:40
  I've
• 4:41
  talked
• 4:41
  about
• 4:41
  this
• 4:41
  on
• 4:41
  the
• 4:41
  show
• 4:41
  many
• 4:42
  times.
• 4:43
  When
• 4:43
  I
• 4:43
  get
• 4:43
  on
• 4:43
  that
• 4:43
  scale
• 4:44
  and
• 4:44
  I've
• 4:44
  lost
• 4:44
  a
• 4:44
  pound
• 4:44
  or
• 4:45
  two,
• 4:45
  guess
• 4:45
  what
• 4:45
  that
• 4:45
  does?
• 4:45
  It
• 4:46
  feeds
• 4:46
  the
• 4:46
  motivation.
• 4:47
  I
• 4:47
  have
• 4:47
  a
• 4:48
  goal
• 4:48
  in
• 4:48
  mind.
• 4:49
  Number
• 4:49
  three,
• 4:49
  thing
• 4:50
  A
• 4:50
  is
• 4:51
  for
• 4:51
  achievable.
• 4:51
  This
• 4:52
  is
• 4:52
  your
• 4:52
  reality
• 4:52
  check.
• 4:52
  Because
• 4:53
  listen,
• 4:53
  if
• 4:53
  you're
• 4:53
  going
• 4:53
  to
• 4:53
  set
• 4:53
  goals,
• 4:54
  make
• 4:54
  them
• 4:55
  real,
• 4:55
  make
• 4:55
  them
• 4:56
  something
• 4:56
  you
• 4:56
  were
• 4:56
  able
• 4:57
  to
• 4:57
  accomplish.
• 4:58
  Yes.
• 4:58
  I
• 4:58
  want
• 4:59
  you
• 4:59
  to
• 4:59
  stretch
• 4:59
  yourself,
• 5:00
  but
• 5:00
  don't
• 5:01
  stop.
• 5:01
  It's
• 5:01
  kind
• 5:01
  of
• 5:01
  like
• 5:01
  a
• 5:01
  rubber
• 5:01
  band.
• 5:02
  You
• 5:02
  take
• 5:02
  a
• 5:02
  rubber
• 5:02
  band
• 5:03
  out
• 5:03
  and
• 5:03
  you
• 5:04
  can
• 5:04
  pull
• 5:04
  on
• 5:04
  that
• 5:04
  rubber
• 5:04
  band.
• 5:05
  Well,
• 5:05
  at
• 5:05
  some
• 5:05
  point
• 5:05
  you
• 5:06
  got
• 5:06
  to
• 5:06
  be
• 5:06
  careful
• 5:07
  because
• 5:07
  I
• 5:08
  don't
• 5:08
  know
• 5:08
  about
• 5:08
  you,
• 5:08
  but
• 5:08
  I
• 5:08
  pulled
• 5:09
  too
• 5:09
  far
• 5:09
  and
• 5:09
  snapped
• 5:09
  my
• 5:09
  fingers.
• 5:10
  That's
• 5:10
  not
• 5:10
  a
• 5:10
  good
• 5:10
  feeling.
• 5:11
  We
• 5:12
  got
• 5:12
  to
• 5:12
  do
• 5:12
  the
• 5:12
  same
• 5:12
  thing
• 5:12
  when
• 5:13
  you're
• 5:13
  setting
• 5:13
  goals,
• 5:13
  stretch
• 5:14
  yourself.
• 5:15
  If
• 5:15
  you
• 5:15
  don't
• 5:15
  stretch
• 5:15
  yourself,
• 5:15
  you're
• 5:16
  never
• 5:16
  going
• 5:16
  to
• 5:16
  get
• 5:16
  anywhere.
• 5:17
  But
• 5:17
  don't
• 5:17
  let
• 5:17
  it
• 5:18
  snap,
• 5:19
  because
• 5:19
  God
• 5:20
  blesses
• 5:20
  diligence,
• 5:21
  not
• 5:21
  delusion.
• 5:22
  I
• 5:22
  want
• 5:22
  to
• 5:22
  say
• 5:22
  that
• 5:22
  again
• 5:22
  because
• 5:22
  I
• 5:23
  Want
• 5:23
  you
• 5:23
  to
• 5:23
  hear
• 5:23
  that
• 5:23
  loud
• 5:24
  and
• 5:24
  clear.
• 5:24
  God
• 5:25
  is
• 5:25
  going
• 5:25
  to
• 5:25
  bless
• 5:25
  that.
• 5:25
  Diligence,
• 5:26
  not
• 5:26
  diligence.
• 5:27
  In
• 5:27
  other
• 5:27
  words,
• 5:27
  if
• 5:27
  you
• 5:27
  say,
• 5:27
  ralph,
• 5:28
  I
• 5:28
  want
• 5:28
  to
• 5:28
  save
• 5:28
  a
• 5:29
  million
• 5:29
  dollars
• 5:29
  next
• 5:29
  year,
• 5:30
  I
• 5:30
  got
• 5:30
  12
• 5:31
  months
• 5:31
  to
• 5:31
  do
• 5:31
  it.
• 5:31
  All
• 5:32
  right?
• 5:32
  Show
• 5:32
  me
• 5:32
  how
• 5:32
  to
• 5:32
  do
• 5:32
  it.
• 5:32
  I'm
• 5:33
  sorry,
• 5:33
  you're
• 5:33
  probably
• 5:33
  not
• 5:34
  going
• 5:34
  to
• 5:34
  save
• 5:34
  a
• 5:34
  million
• 5:34
  dollars
• 5:35
  in
• 5:35
  a
• 5:35
  year.
• 5:35
  But
• 5:35
  you
• 5:36
  might
• 5:36
  say,
• 5:36
  ralph,
• 5:36
  you
• 5:37
  know
• 5:37
  what?
• 5:37
  Let
• 5:37
  me
• 5:37
  be
• 5:38
  more
• 5:38
  reasonable.
• 5:39
  Let
• 5:39
  me
• 5:39
  stretch.
• 5:40
  I
• 5:40
  want
• 5:40
  to
• 5:40
  save
• 5:41
  $2,000,
• 5:42
  see,
• 5:43
  because
• 5:43
  that
• 5:43
  reachable
• 5:43
  goal
• 5:44
  keeps
• 5:44
  hope
• 5:44
  alive.
• 5:45
  If
• 5:45
  you
• 5:45
  have
• 5:45
  this
• 5:45
  goal
• 5:46
  that's
• 5:46
  unreachable,
• 5:46
  you're
• 5:47
  going
• 5:47
  to
• 5:47
  give
• 5:47
  up.
• 5:47
  When
• 5:48
  February
• 5:48
  hits,
• 5:49
  you're
• 5:49
  going
• 5:49
  to
• 5:49
  say,
• 5:49
  I
• 5:49
  can't
• 5:49
  do
• 5:50
  this,
• 5:50
  Ralph.
• 5:50
  There's
• 5:50
  no
• 5:50
  way
• 5:50
  I'm
• 5:50
  going
• 5:50
  to.
• 5:51
  Like.
• 5:51
  I
• 5:51
  start
• 5:51
  out
• 5:51
  my
• 5:51
  weight
• 5:52
  loss
• 5:52
  journey
• 5:52
  at
• 5:52
  £430,
• 5:54
  okay?
• 5:54
  I
• 5:54
  get
• 5:54
  on
• 5:54
  the
• 5:55
  scale
• 5:55
  yesterday.
• 5:55
  I'm
• 5:55
  248.
• 5:56
  That
• 5:56
  means
• 5:56
  I've
• 5:57
  lost
• 5:57
  almost
• 5:57
  £200.
• 5:58
  Now,
• 5:58
  if
• 5:58
  I
• 5:59
  had
• 5:59
  started
• 5:59
  off
• 5:59
  and
• 5:59
  said,
• 5:59
  I
• 6:00
  want
• 6:00
  to
• 6:00
  lose
• 6:00
  200
• 6:00
  pounds,
• 6:01
  guess
• 6:01
  what?
• 6:01
  I
• 6:01
  wouldn't
• 6:01
  have
• 6:01
  done
• 6:02
  it.
• 6:02
  I
• 6:02
  would
• 6:02
  have
• 6:02
  failed.
• 6:03
  So
• 6:03
  right
• 6:03
  now
• 6:04
  my
• 6:04
  goal
• 6:04
  is
• 6:04
  I
• 6:04
  want
• 6:05
  to
• 6:05
  lose
• 6:05
  five
• 6:05
  pounds
• 6:05
  in
• 6:06
  the
• 6:06
  next
• 6:06
  month.
• 6:06
  Think
• 6:06
  about
• 6:06
  your
• 6:07
  finances
• 6:07
  the
• 6:07
  same
• 6:07
  way
• 6:08
  you
• 6:08
  can
• 6:08
  always
• 6:08
  expand
• 6:08
  it
• 6:09
  later.
• 6:09
  When
• 6:09
  I
• 6:09
  was
• 6:09
  first
• 6:10
  starting
• 6:10
  out,
• 6:10
  when
• 6:11
  I
• 6:11
  got
• 6:11
  under
• 6:11
  £400,
• 6:12
  man,
• 6:12
  I
• 6:12
  was
• 6:12
  like
• 6:12
  this.
• 6:13
  Great,
• 6:13
  I'm
• 6:14
  making
• 6:14
  progress,
• 6:15
  but
• 6:15
  I
• 6:15
  started
• 6:16
  where
• 6:16
  I
• 6:16
  could
• 6:16
  succeed
• 6:17
  because
• 6:18
  those
• 6:18
  small
• 6:18
  wins
• 6:19
  compound
• 6:19
  faster
• 6:19
  than
• 6:20
  those
• 6:20
  big
• 6:20
  wishes.
• 6:20
  Yes,
• 6:21
  I
• 6:21
  wanted
• 6:21
  to
• 6:21
  get
• 6:21
  to
• 6:22
  where
• 6:22
  I'm
• 6:22
  getting
• 6:22
  to.
• 6:23
  I
• 6:23
  want
• 6:23
  it
• 6:23
  to
• 6:23
  be.
• 6:23
  My
• 6:24
  goal
• 6:24
  is
• 6:24
  to
• 6:24
  lose
• 6:24
  200
• 6:25
  pounds.
• 6:25
  That's
• 6:25
  my
• 6:25
  overall
• 6:26
  goal,
• 6:26
  and
• 6:26
  I'm
• 6:26
  just
• 6:27
  18
• 6:27
  pounds
• 6:27
  away
• 6:27
  from
• 6:28
  it.
• 6:28
  But
• 6:28
  I
• 6:29
  couldn't
• 6:29
  start
• 6:29
  off
• 6:29
  with,
• 6:29
  I
• 6:30
  want
• 6:30
  to
• 6:30
  lose
• 6:30
  200
• 6:30
  pounds.
• 6:31
  I
• 6:31
  need
• 6:31
  to
• 6:31
  start
• 6:31
  with,
• 6:31
  I
• 6:31
  need
• 6:31
  to
• 6:32
  lose
• 6:32
  5
• 6:32
  pounds.
• 6:33
  Do
• 6:33
  the
• 6:34
  same
• 6:34
  thing
• 6:34
  with
• 6:34
  your
• 6:34
  finances.
• 6:35
  If
• 6:35
  you
• 6:35
  don't
• 6:35
  have
• 6:35
  an
• 6:35
  emergency
• 6:36
  fund.
• 6:36
  I
• 6:36
  want
• 6:36
  to
• 6:36
  save
• 6:37
  a
• 6:37
  hundred
• 6:37
  dollars
• 6:37
  in
• 6:37
  the
• 6:38
  next
• 6:38
  six
• 6:38
  months.
• 6:38
  Great.
• 6:39
  Do
• 6:39
  it.
• 6:39
  And
• 6:40
  then
• 6:40
  when
• 6:40
  you
• 6:40
  get
• 6:40
  that
• 6:41
  goal,
• 6:41
  it'll
• 6:41
  fund
• 6:42
  itself.
• 6:42
  Next
• 6:42
  thing,
• 6:43
  make
• 6:43
  sure
• 6:43
  it's
• 6:43
  relevant.
• 6:44
  It's
• 6:44
  got
• 6:44
  to
• 6:44
  be
• 6:44
  a
• 6:45
  why
• 6:46
  align
• 6:46
  your
• 6:46
  goals
• 6:46
  with
• 6:47
  your
• 6:47
  calling?
• 6:48
  Why
• 6:49
  does
• 6:49
  this
• 6:49
  matter
• 6:49
  to
• 6:50
  your
• 6:50
  faith?
• 6:50
  Why
• 6:51
  does
• 6:51
  this
• 6:51
  matter
• 6:51
  to
• 6:52
  your
• 6:52
  family?
• 6:52
  Why
• 6:52
  does
• 6:52
  it
• 6:52
  matter
• 6:52
  to
• 6:53
  your
• 6:53
  future?
• 6:53
  You
• 6:53
  got
• 6:53
  to
• 6:53
  answer
• 6:54
  those
• 6:54
  questions
• 6:54
  because
• 6:54
  a
• 6:54
  lot
• 6:54
  of
• 6:55
  people
• 6:55
  say,
• 6:55
  ralph,
• 6:55
  you
• 6:55
  do
• 6:56
  a
• 6:56
  Christian
• 6:56
  show,
• 6:56
  saving
• 6:57
  is
• 6:57
  greed.
• 6:58
  I'm
• 6:58
  going
• 6:59
  to
• 6:59
  fight
• 6:59
  you
• 6:59
  on
• 6:59
  that
• 6:59
  one.
• 7:00
  It's
• 7:00
  not
• 7:00
  about
• 7:00
  greed.
• 7:01
  It's
• 7:01
  stewardship.
• 7:01
  The
• 7:01
  Lord
• 7:02
  wants
• 7:02
  us
• 7:02
  to
• 7:03
  protect
• 7:04
  what
• 7:04
  he's
• 7:04
  given
• 7:04
  us.
• 7:05
  And
• 7:05
  when
• 7:06
  your
• 7:06
  goal
• 7:06
  serves
• 7:06
  your
• 7:07
  purpose,
• 7:07
  guess
• 7:07
  what?
• 7:07
  It
• 7:07
  does.
• 7:08
  It
• 7:08
  fuels
• 7:08
  your
• 7:08
  peace.
• 7:09
  Because
• 7:10
  I've
• 7:10
  said
• 7:10
  this
• 7:10
  Many
• 7:10
  times,
• 7:11
  money
• 7:11
  follows
• 7:12
  a
• 7:12
  mission,
• 7:12
  not
• 7:12
  the
• 7:13
  other
• 7:13
  way
• 7:13
  around.
• 7:14
  And
• 7:14
  last
• 7:14
  but
• 7:15
  not
• 7:15
  least,
• 7:15
  time
• 7:16
  bound
• 7:16
  the
• 7:16
  when.
• 7:17
  You've
• 7:17
  got
• 7:17
  to
• 7:17
  set
• 7:17
  a
• 7:18
  date
• 7:18
  for
• 7:18
  this.
• 7:19
  Today's
• 7:19
  question
• 7:19
  was,
• 7:20
  I
• 7:20
  want
• 7:20
  to
• 7:20
  save
• 7:20
  money.
• 7:21
  Okay,
• 7:22
  what's
• 7:22
  your
• 7:22
  date?
• 7:23
  Because
• 7:23
  dates
• 7:24
  drive
• 7:24
  discipline.
• 7:26
  A
• 7:26
  lot
• 7:26
  of
• 7:26
  people
• 7:26
  say,
• 7:26
  well,
• 7:26
  Ralph,
• 7:27
  you're
• 7:27
  going
• 7:27
  to
• 7:27
  put
• 7:27
  pressure
• 7:27
  on
• 7:28
  me.
• 7:28
  That's
• 7:28
  not
• 7:28
  true.
• 7:28
  Deadlines
• 7:29
  aren't
• 7:29
  pressure,
• 7:29
  they're
• 7:30
  purpose.
• 7:31
  I'm
• 7:31
  going
• 7:31
  to
• 7:31
  share
• 7:31
  with
• 7:31
  you
• 7:32
  a
• 7:32
  Bible
• 7:32
  verse
• 7:32
  from
• 7:32
  Habakkuk,
• 7:33
  chapter
• 7:33
  2,
• 7:34
  verse
• 7:34
  2,
• 7:34
  in
• 7:34
  just
• 7:34
  a
• 7:34
  second.
• 7:36
  But
• 7:36
  a
• 7:36
  goal
• 7:37
  without
• 7:37
  a
• 7:37
  date
• 7:37
  is
• 7:37
  just
• 7:38
  a
• 7:38
  dream
• 7:38
  with
• 7:38
  good
• 7:39
  intentions.
• 7:40
  Put
• 7:41
  it
• 7:41
  on
• 7:41
  the
• 7:41
  calendar,
• 7:42
  pray
• 7:42
  about
• 7:42
  it,
• 7:42
  say,
• 7:43
  God,
• 7:43
  this
• 7:43
  is
• 7:43
  my
• 7:43
  goal.
• 7:44
  This
• 7:44
  is.
• 7:44
  It's
• 7:45
  smart,
• 7:45
  but
• 7:46
  help
• 7:46
  me
• 7:46
  get
• 7:47
  to
• 7:47
  that.
• 7:48
  So
• 7:48
  again,
• 7:48
  make
• 7:49
  them
• 7:49
  smart.
• 7:50
  Let's
• 7:50
  get
• 7:50
  right
• 7:50
  into
• 7:50
  our
• 7:51
  Bible
• 7:51
  verse
• 7:51
  today.
• 7:52
  I
• 7:52
  mentioned
• 7:52
  this
• 7:52
  a
• 7:52
  second
• 7:53
  ago.
• 7:53
  It
• 7:53
  comes
• 7:53
  from
• 7:53
  Habakkuk
• 7:54
  chapter
• 7:54
  2,
• 7:54
  verse
• 7:55
  2.
• 7:55
  And
• 7:55
  it
• 7:55
  says,
• 7:55
  write
• 7:56
  down
• 7:56
  the
• 7:56
  revelation
• 7:57
  and
• 7:57
  make
• 7:57
  it
• 7:57
  plain
• 7:58
  on
• 7:58
  tablets
• 7:59
  so
• 7:59
  that
• 7:59
  a
• 7:59
  herald
• 8:00
  may
• 8:00
  run
• 8:00
  with
• 8:00
  it.
• 8:02
  And
• 8:02
  I
• 8:02
  think
• 8:02
  that's
• 8:02
  the
• 8:02
  anchor
• 8:03
  for
• 8:03
  today's
• 8:03
  whole
• 8:04
  episode.
• 8:04
  Make
• 8:04
  it
• 8:05
  smart.
• 8:05
  Because
• 8:05
  when
• 8:06
  you
• 8:06
  do
• 8:06
  those
• 8:06
  things,
• 8:07
  then
• 8:07
  you
• 8:08
  have
• 8:08
  clarity.
• 8:08
  You
• 8:08
  have
• 8:09
  communication
• 8:09
  with
• 8:10
  yourself
• 8:10
  and
• 8:10
  with
• 8:10
  God
• 8:11
  because
• 8:11
  you're
• 8:11
  going
• 8:11
  to
• 8:11
  say
• 8:11
  to
• 8:11
  God,
• 8:12
  help
• 8:12
  me
• 8:12
  with
• 8:12
  this,
• 8:13
  and
• 8:14
  you
• 8:14
  have
• 8:14
  obedience.
• 8:15
  How
• 8:16
  about
• 8:16
  we
• 8:16
  pray
• 8:16
  together
• 8:16
  right
• 8:17
  now?
• 8:17
  Lord,
• 8:17
  we
• 8:18
  so
• 8:18
  much
• 8:18
  want
• 8:18
  to
• 8:18
  live
• 8:19
  in
• 8:19
  the
• 8:19
  reality
• 8:20
  of
• 8:20
  setting
• 8:20
  smart
• 8:21
  goals.
• 8:22
  So,
• 8:22
  Lord,
• 8:22
  help
• 8:23
  us
• 8:23
  start
• 8:23
  by
• 8:23
  giving
• 8:23
  us
• 8:24
  clarity
• 8:24
  of
• 8:24
  purpose.
• 8:25
  Lord,
• 8:26
  help
• 8:26
  us
• 8:26
  to
• 8:26
  have
• 8:27
  courage
• 8:27
  to
• 8:27
  commit
• 8:27
  to
• 8:28
  this,
• 8:28
  no
• 8:28
  matter
• 8:28
  what
• 8:28
  that
• 8:28
  looks
• 8:29
  like
• 8:29
  in
• 8:29
  our
• 8:29
  lives.
• 8:31
  But
• 8:31
  Lord,
• 8:31
  we
• 8:31
  know
• 8:31
  we're
• 8:32
  going
• 8:32
  to
• 8:32
  struggle.
• 8:33
  So
• 8:33
  give
• 8:33
  us
• 8:33
  diligence
• 8:34
  to
• 8:34
  follow
• 8:34
  through.
• 8:35
  Help
• 8:35
  us
• 8:35
  to
• 8:35
  take
• 8:35
  one
• 8:36
  day
• 8:36
  at
• 8:36
  a
• 8:36
  time,
• 8:36
  Lord,
• 8:36
  and
• 8:37
  just
• 8:37
  look
• 8:37
  to
• 8:38
  you
• 8:38
  and
• 8:38
  rely
• 8:38
  on
• 8:38
  you
• 8:38
  and
• 8:39
  pray
• 8:39
  over
• 8:39
  those
• 8:39
  things.
• 8:41
  And
• 8:41
  Lord,
• 8:42
  help
• 8:42
  us
• 8:42
  make
• 8:42
  goals
• 8:42
  that
• 8:43
  glorify
• 8:43
  you.
• 8:43
  Not
• 8:44
  just
• 8:44
  grow
• 8:44
  me.
• 8:44
  It's
• 8:45
  easy
• 8:45
  to
• 8:45
  grow
• 8:45
  ourselves,
• 8:46
  Lord,
• 8:47
  but
• 8:47
  help
• 8:47
  us
• 8:48
  to
• 8:48
  glorify
• 8:48
  you
• 8:48
  in
• 8:49
  all
• 8:49
  that
• 8:49
  we
• 8:49
  do.
• 8:49
  Lord,
• 8:49
  we
• 8:50
  ask
• 8:50
  this
• 8:50
  in
• 8:51
  the
• 8:51
  mighty
• 8:51
  name
• 8:51
  of
• 8:51
  Jesus.
• 8:53
  Amen.
• 8:54
  All
• 8:54
  right,
• 8:54
  well,
• 8:54
  here's
• 8:55
  your
• 8:55
  one
• 8:55
  action
• 8:55
  item
• 8:56
  for
• 8:56
  today.
• 8:57
  I
• 8:57
  want
• 8:57
  you
• 8:57
  to
• 8:57
  just
• 8:57
  think
• 8:58
  about
• 8:58
  this.
• 8:58
  Today.
• 8:58
  I
• 8:58
  want
• 8:58
  you
• 8:58
  to
• 8:59
  write
• 8:59
  one
• 8:59
  smart
• 9:00
  financial
• 9:00
  goal
• 9:00
  for
• 9:00
  2026.
• 9:02
  But
• 9:02
  I
• 9:02
  want
• 9:02
  you
• 9:02
  to
• 9:03
  be
• 9:03
  specific.
• 9:04
  I
• 9:04
  want
• 9:04
  you
• 9:04
  to
• 9:04
  write
• 9:05
  the
• 9:05
  amount,
• 9:05
  I
• 9:05
  want
• 9:06
  you
• 9:06
  to
• 9:06
  write
• 9:06
  the
• 9:06
  date,
• 9:07
  and
• 9:07
  I
• 9:07
  want
• 9:07
  you
• 9:07
  to
• 9:07
  write
• 9:08
  the
• 9:08
  account
• 9:09
  and
• 9:09
  then
• 9:09
  add
• 9:09
  it
• 9:09
  to
• 9:09
  your
• 9:10
  calendar.
• 9:11
  Here's
• 9:11
  a
• 9:11
  little
• 9:12
  side
• 9:12
  thing
• 9:12
  I'm
• 9:12
  going
• 9:12
  to
• 9:12
  tell
• 9:12
  you
• 9:13
  to
• 9:13
  do.
• 9:13
  Find
• 9:14
  an
• 9:14
  accountability
• 9:14
  partner
• 9:15
  for
• 9:15
  this,
• 9:15
  too.
• 9:16
  Because
• 9:16
  in
• 9:16
  my
• 9:17
  experience,
• 9:17
  when
• 9:17
  you
• 9:18
  have
• 9:18
  somebody
• 9:18
  you
• 9:18
  can
• 9:18
  trust,
• 9:19
  a
• 9:19
  friend
• 9:19
  or
• 9:19
  a
• 9:19
  spouse
• 9:20
  or
• 9:20
  somebody
• 9:20
  like
• 9:20
  that
• 9:20
  to
• 9:21
  help
• 9:21
  keep
• 9:21
  you
• 9:21
  accountable,
• 9:22
  share
• 9:22
  with
• 9:22
  them
• 9:22
  and
• 9:22
  say,
• 9:22
  hey,
• 9:23
  this
• 9:23
  is
• 9:23
  what
• 9:23
  I'm
• 9:23
  going
• 9:23
  to
• 9:23
  do.
• 9:25
  Pray
• 9:25
  about
• 9:25
  it
• 9:25
  together.
• 9:26
  If
• 9:26
  it's
• 9:27
  that
• 9:27
  savings
• 9:27
  goal,
• 9:28
  if
• 9:28
  it's
• 9:28
  that
• 9:28
  putting
• 9:28
  money
• 9:28
  away
• 9:29
  for
• 9:29
  retirement,
• 9:29
  whatever
• 9:29
  that
• 9:30
  looks
• 9:30
  like
• 9:30
  for
• 9:30
  you,
• 9:31
  do
• 9:32
  that
• 9:32
  today.
• 9:33
  Because
• 9:34
  small
• 9:34
  clarity
• 9:35
  now
• 9:35
  creates
• 9:35
  big
• 9:35
  freedom
• 9:36
  later.
• 9:38
  So
• 9:38
  today
• 9:38
  we've
• 9:38
  set
• 9:38
  smart
• 9:39
  goals
• 9:39
  together
• 9:40
  every
• 9:40
  month,
• 9:41
  reviewing,
• 9:42
  celebrating
• 9:42
  and
• 9:43
  praying
• 9:43
  through
• 9:43
  them
• 9:43
  as
• 9:43
  a
• 9:43
  community.
• 9:44
  Now,
• 9:44
  I
• 9:45
  want
• 9:45
  to
• 9:45
  talk
• 9:45
  to
• 9:45
  you
• 9:45
  about
• 9:45
  our
• 9:45
  community.
• 9:45
  We
• 9:46
  just
• 9:46
  released
• 9:46
  this
• 9:47
  community.
• 9:47
  It's
• 9:47
  a
• 9:47
  Patreon
• 9:48
  channel.
• 9:48
  A
• 9:48
  lot
• 9:48
  of
• 9:48
  people
• 9:49
  saying,
• 9:49
  what
• 9:49
  are
• 9:49
  you
• 9:49
  doing
• 9:49
  there,
• 9:49
  Ralph?
• 9:50
  It's
• 9:50
  a
• 9:50
  community.
• 9:51
  Go
• 9:51
  to
• 9:51
  financiallyconfidentchristian.com/join.
• 9:54
  I'm
• 9:54
  not
• 9:54
  asking
• 9:54
  for
• 9:54
  your
• 9:54
  money.
• 9:55
  If
• 9:55
  you
• 9:55
  want
• 9:55
  to
• 9:55
  support
• 9:55
  the
• 9:55
  show,
• 9:56
  you
• 9:56
  can.
• 9:56
  But
• 9:57
  it's
• 9:57
  a
• 9:57
  great
• 9:57
  place
• 9:57
  to
• 9:57
  go
• 9:58
  and
• 9:58
  interact
• 9:58
  with
• 9:58
  other
• 9:59
  people
• 9:59
  who
• 9:59
  follow
• 10:00
  the
• 10:00
  show.
• 10:00
  We're
• 10:00
  going
• 10:00
  to
• 10:00
  have
• 10:00
  some
• 10:01
  goal
• 10:01
  reviews,
• 10:02
  some
• 10:02
  encouragement.
• 10:02
  There's
• 10:03
  real
• 10:03
  stories
• 10:04
  of
• 10:04
  answered
• 10:04
  prayers
• 10:04
  and
• 10:05
  progress.
• 10:05
  It's
• 10:05
  a
• 10:05
  way
• 10:05
  to
• 10:06
  shape
• 10:06
  and
• 10:06
  to
• 10:07
  share
• 10:07
  what's
• 10:07
  going
• 10:07
  on
• 10:07
  in
• 10:07
  your
• 10:08
  life
• 10:08
  because
• 10:09
  accountability
• 10:09
  with
• 10:10
  grace
• 10:10
  isn't
• 10:10
  guilt
• 10:11
  anymore.
• 10:12
  And
• 10:12
  that
• 10:12
  consistency
• 10:13
  grows
• 10:13
  faster
• 10:13
  in
• 10:13
  community.
• 10:14
  So
• 10:14
  again,
• 10:14
  go
• 10:15
  to
• 10:15
  financiallyconfidentchristian.com/join.
• 10:19
  And
• 10:19
  as
• 10:19
  I
• 10:19
  close
• 10:19
  today,
• 10:20
  you
• 10:21
  don't
• 10:21
  need
• 10:21
  a
• 10:21
  new
• 10:21
  dream.
• 10:22
  You
