- 0:00Speaker 1: What's up everyone, and welcome back to the Epstein chronicles.
- 0:04One thing that we know is that all of the
- 0:07so called elite, basically we're in bed with Jeffrey Epstein.
- 0:11At the very least, they were breaking bread with them.
- 0:14And that goes for Reid Hoffman as well. Now, Reid
- 0:18Hoffman is one of these big shots in Silicon Valley,
- 0:23another one of these gigantic bundlers to politicians, but at
- 0:27the same time was somebody that was very close to
- 0:31Jeffrey Epstein and who even went to the island in
- 0:34twenty fifteen. Now, there are no allegations that have been
- 0:39made public of Reid Hoffman taking part in the abuse himself,
- 0:43but the fact that he was hanging out with Epstein,
- 0:45the fact that he was on the island with Epstein,
- 0:48and the fact that he was doing all these other
- 0:49activities with Epstein should really raise some eyebrows. And thankfully
- 0:54for the shareholders at Microsoft, it started to raise those
- 0:59eyebrows a bit. And now you have people who are
- 1:01demanding that Reid Hoffman get booted off the board of directors.
- 1:07So let's dive into this article and let's see what
- 1:11news Direct has for us. Headline shareholder urges Microsoft to
- 1:16boot Jeffrey Epstein pal from board of directors. The author
- 1:21of this article is News direct staff. In a letter
- 1:24to the lead independent director for Microsoft Corporation, National Legal
- 1:29and Policy Center has asked for the removal of billionaire
- 1:32Reid Hoffman from the company's board of directors due to
- 1:36his hyperpartisan political activities and his connections to the late
- 1:40convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein, whose private island Hoffman visited in
- 1:44twenty fourteen. This should be a problem for people that
- 1:49take money from Reid Hoffman, but it won't be, you
- 1:52know why, because the legacy media refuses to dig in
- 1:56and really a report on it. This guy was bundling
- 1:59also sorts of money to all sorts of politicians. How
- 2:02much money did this guy give to Joe Biden? How
- 2:05much money did he give to insert politician here? But
- 2:09Jeffrey Epstein's funk isn't going to be on this dude.
- 2:12Why not because his politics might align with yours. And
- 2:15what's so disgusting about all of that, honestly, is that
- 2:19during the last administration, you had a whole bunch of
- 2:21people that were demanding accountability from a whole lot of
- 2:24other people. Now that the roles are reversed and their
- 2:28team is in office, that accountability is right out the window. Oh,
- 2:31there's no more accountability. It's all about holding on to power.
- 2:35It's all about making sure our guy gets elected. Meanwhile,
- 2:38Jeffrey Epstein's survivors continue to get stepped on. How do
- 2:42you think it feels to wake up, look at the
- 2:43news and see a guy like Reid Hoffman who was
- 2:46paling around with Epstein, who the survivors saw on the island,
- 2:50and now they hear that he's a gigantic bundler for
- 2:52insert politician here, that he's donating a bunch of money
- 2:56to insert cause here. I'm sure that makes them feel great.
- 3:00And maybe as a nightcap they can watch Prince Andrew
- 3:02being welcomed back to the royal family. NLPC owns stock
- 3:06and Microsoft, and is also sponsoring a shareholder proposal at
- 3:10this year's annual meeting, which will be held on December seventh,
- 3:14twenty twenty three. LinkedIn, which was co founded by Hoffman,
- 3:19was acquired by Microsoft in December of twenty sixteen. He
- 3:23joined Microsoft's board in March of twenty seventeen. So yeah,
- 3:28this guy should go. There's no doubt that Riied Hoffman
- 3:31should be forced off the board. They're not gonna do it, though.
- 3:34They don't have that kind of courage, and there's not
- 3:37that kind of cry from the media. Imagine the outcry
- 3:40if alex Acosta joined one of these boards. It would
- 3:43be insane, right, But naw, Reid Hoffman, no big deal.
- 3:46Who cares that he was in bed with Epstein? Who
- 3:49cares that he gave Epstein a bunch of money? Not
- 3:51like he's ever going to be held accountable. I mean,
- 3:53look at Bill Clinton, look at Hillary Clinton. Have either
- 3:56of them been held accountable for their time with Jeffrey Epstein.
- 4:00The answer is no, And the answer is they're never
- 4:03going to be held accountable. As nlpc's Paul Chesser wrote
- 4:07in his letter to the company's top independent director, Sandra Peterson,
- 4:12Hoffman has shown poor discernment in his associations, poor judgment
- 4:16in his political and social actions, and utter disregard for
- 4:20Microsoft's reputation and shareholder value. And if you recall, we
- 4:24saw a similar thing happen over at Barclay's. Edward Brampson
- 4:28went on an absolute war path to get rid of
- 4:31Jess Staley. He eventually was successful as well. So if
- 4:35I was Reid Hoffman, I wouldn't be too confident that
- 4:38this is a nothing burger and it's all just gonna
- 4:40blow over, Because when somebody who holds a lot of
- 4:44shares of a company starts wild and out, it causes
- 4:48some issues, and you better believe the people in the
- 4:50boardroom start paying attention. Reid Hoffman's wealth and arrogance have
- 4:55clearly gone to his head, and he appears to think
- 4:58he doesn't have to be account to anyone, said Chesser,
- 5:02who is director of nlpc's Corporate Integrity Project CIP. Whether
- 5:08it's visiting Pedophile Island with Jeffrey Epstein or calling the
- 5:12likely twenty twenty four Republican presidential nominee the disease President,
- 5:17or simply advising aspiring entrepreneurs to ignore your customers, Hoffmann
- 5:22obviously would rather satiate his sensual impulses than properly oversee
- 5:28the fiduciary responsibilities of a major technology company, said Luke Purlott,
- 5:34Associate director and chief researcher for the CIP. Some pretty
- 5:39heavily charged stuff, and look, if you have a bunch
- 5:42of money invested somewhere. Do you want somebody out here
- 5:45playing games, running around like an activist. If I wanted
- 5:48to join a group of activist investors, that's what I
- 5:51would do. When you're joining Microsoft, that's not what you're
- 5:55looking for. You're looking for a solid company that's going
- 5:58to handle their business and you're going to get a
- 6:00ton of return on your investment. Save all the other
- 6:03stuff for somebody else. In the heavily footnoted letter to Microsoft,
- 6:08NLPC pointed out three major reasons that make Hoffman unsuitable
- 6:13for the board. His close association with Epstein, his unrestrained
- 6:18hyperpartisan political urges, and his hypocritical views regarding civic participation
- 6:23and his own companies censorship practices. And I'm sure that
- 6:27there's some political animus here with NLPC, but the fact
- 6:31remains at Jeffrey Epstein's buddy, Reid Hoffman shouldn't be on
- 6:35the Microsoft board. And I don't care what his political
- 6:38affiliations are. Save that for all the other people that
- 6:41want to tear this country apart at its very seams,
- 6:44I won't take part in it. And that's because I
- 6:46know the whole entire thing is a big ass hustle.
- 6:49The whole entire thing is meant to divert your attention
- 6:52from the bullshit that they're up to. And it's sad
- 6:55to see how many people have fallen for it, hook
- 6:57line and sinker. And you know now that we're going
- 7:01into the election year that the bullshit is gonna be
- 7:03piled on thick. They're gonna be promising you the whole
- 7:07entire world. But keep in mind, how many of them
- 7:10ever fulfill those promises. The answer is, according to Axios,
- 7:15mister Hoffman and mister Epstein both aggressively fundraised for the
- 7:19MIT Media Lab, and mister Hoffman also inviting mister Epstein
- 7:24to join them at in August twenty fifteen dinner in
- 7:27Silicon Valley that included tech entrepreneurs Elon Musk, Mark Zuckerberg,
- 7:32and Peter Thiel. You know, the thing with Elon Musk
- 7:35that cracks me up is, all of a sudden, he's
- 7:37some kind of hero for people, some kind of guy
- 7:40that should be, you know, looked at as some sort
- 7:42of role model. Bros out here hanging out with Glenn Maxwell,
- 7:46paling around with Jeffrey Epstein and god knows how many
- 7:50other undesirables. So yeah, if you want to worship them,
- 7:53that's fine, but me no thanks. In an email to
- 7:57mister Thiel, according to The Wall Street Journal, Hoffman wrote
- 8:00that Epstein was a mostly fun, very interesting guy. You
- 8:04may find him perverse, but very smart on biology, computation,
- 8:08and macroeconomics. And because of that, it's okay that he's perverse.
- 8:13It's okay that he's a molestor that he's a human trafficker,
- 8:16because you know, he likes to have some decent conversations.
- 8:19Mister Hoffman's extremely poor judgment leaves many unanswered questions. Recognizing
- 8:24mister Epstein as perverse, how did mister Hoffman justify ongoing
- 8:29collaboration with the convicted pedophile who maintained his own luxury
- 8:33island to traffic underage girls to fulfill the sexual desires
- 8:37of himself and his associates. How could a highly educated, savvy,
- 8:42and instinctive tech billionaire agree to visit such a place
- 8:45with such a person with such a detestable reputation unless
- 8:49it was intentional, showing utter disregard for his own image
- 8:53and that of the business and organizations with which he
- 8:57is identified. That is pretty much the long and short
- 9:01of it, this man knew what he was doing, just
- 9:04like the rest of them. All of the nonsense of
- 9:06I had no idea who Epstein was. I had no
- 9:09idea what he was doing. I don't buy any of that.
- 9:11And all the people that are pitching that to us,
- 9:14they really think we're stupid. But the jokes on them,
- 9:17because we're not going away. We're going to continue to
- 9:20beat the drum of justice from every damn mountaintop that
- 9:23I can get my feet on. Motive AI, another firm
- 9:27credited with backing from billionaire LinkedIn chairman Reid Hoffman, ran
- 9:31ads through associated limited liability companies that featured offensive content
- 9:37and disinformation. Facebook pages with Motive AI associations made sexist
- 9:43comments about former Congresswoman Tulcy Gabbard and Republican mega donor
- 9:48Rebecca Mercer. One such page called Gabbard a CWILF, which
- 9:54stands for Congresswoman. I'd like to f well, that's nice, huh.
- 10:00Hoffman could easily advocate for LinkedIn to remain open for
- 10:03all reasoned political debate, but there is no evidence that
- 10:07he does. In fact, his own history indicates that he
- 10:10encourages such snubs. As a self styled expert on venture
- 10:14capital funded startups, mister Hoffman recommends one counterintuitive business practice
- 10:20for an alleged path to success, ignore your customers. Is
- 10:24this an image that Microsoft wishes to project. NLPC called
- 10:29for Peterson to ask for Hoffman's resignation, and if he
- 10:32refuses to do so, then to seek his removal. Hoffman
- 10:36is listed as a nominee for re election to the
- 10:39board on the company's proxy statement. Reed Hoffman has been
- 10:43very successful in business. Buddy has shown very poor judgment,
- 10:47said Peter Flaherty, chairman of NLPC. Wealth should not be
- 10:51an exemption from decent behavior. Microsoft will be a better
- 10:55company when Hoffman leaves the board. Well, there's that they
- 11:00didn't mince any words about how they feel. And guess what,
- 11:03I'm on board. Reid Hoffman should step down and he
- 11:06shouldn't have anything to do with Microsoft. The sad truth is, though,
- 11:10that will never happen, and people like Reid Hoffman, people
- 11:13who help Jeffrey Epstein along the way by enabling him
- 11:17and by helping him to refurbish his image, are never
- 11:20going to be held accountable. And that's because you have
- 11:23a legacy media that's complicit. All of the information that
