Transcript
- 0:00Speaker 1: Should we be worried about this?
- 0:02Speaker 2: That will do for any us? Britannia's in it and
- 0:10Speaker 2: it's four to two. You heard us. They're backing it.
- 0:13Speaker 1: Yeah all right, so they've come back. They're doing a
- 0:15Speaker 1: little bit better. Adam Cooper's will say'd be sport here
- 0:18Speaker 1: in Wellington. Hey Adam, Hey Ron welcome? Yeah, thank you.
- 0:21Speaker 1: Should we be worried about this? Or was this just
- 0:22Speaker 1: a little blip?
- 0:23Speaker 3: I don't think so. I think it was two mistakes
- 0:25Speaker 3: from Team New Zealand. This happens in sailing. You know,
- 0:27Speaker 3: it's such a delicate situation when these two syndicates are
- 0:32Speaker 3: getting the best of the wind, lighting up at the
- 0:34Speaker 3: start line. I guess we saw Team New Zealand make
- 0:35Speaker 3: their first mistake of this whole final. They got off
- 0:38Speaker 3: the foils and sort of found themselves on the water. Obviously,
- 0:41Speaker 3: these boats go the fastest and ultimately you know, are
- 0:44Speaker 3: above the water sort of on the foils. And then
- 0:46Speaker 3: Team New Zealand somehow made a bit of a mistake,
- 0:48Speaker 3: got off the foils and that sort of effected them
- 0:50Speaker 3: from the start. They couldn't really get back into that
- 0:52Speaker 3: that first race. And then another mistake sort of towards
- 0:55Speaker 3: the start of the second race as well, So I
- 0:57Speaker 3: think rather than being concerning, it is actually more exciting.
- 1:00Speaker 1: Well yeah, that's the first time I've paid attention. Yeah,
- 1:02Speaker 1: now up four nil, and.
- 1:04Speaker 3: We thought, come on, this is we don't want this
- 1:06Speaker 3: to be a foregone conclusion. We want this to carry
- 1:08Speaker 3: on for a few more days and and for it
- 1:10Speaker 3: to be tight. So four to two, I think ten.
- 1:12Speaker 3: He's Zealand we know that their boat is world class
- 1:14Speaker 3: and the way it's been built, what it does. So
- 1:17Speaker 3: I think, you know, we're still drum on the water
- 1:19Speaker 3: and it's first to seven, isn't it. And next race
- 1:21Speaker 3: is Saturday morning, yes, so we won't have an out
- 1:24Speaker 3: and then after that is it Sunday?
- 1:26Speaker 1: Did they race?
- 1:26Speaker 3: Yeah, they'll continue through over the weekend. I mean everyone
- 1:29Speaker 3: will keep in the back of their minds that San
- 1:30Speaker 3: Francisco America's cut when he's eeling we're up at eight.
- 1:34Speaker 3: You know, they had eight in the first to nine
- 1:36Speaker 3: and then they got they got beaten. They're about up
- 1:38Speaker 3: about eight one, and and Oracle at the time came
- 1:41Speaker 3: back and beat them nine to eight. So I think
- 1:43Speaker 3: everyone's a little bit fearful of that. But I think
- 1:45Speaker 3: at the moment we're pretty still pretty confident.
- 1:47Speaker 1: I'd say, Adam, thank you very much. Adam cooper' zimby
- 1:49Speaker 1: Sport with me here in Wellington this morning.
