- 0:03Speaker 1: Weekdays, sweet A seven pm a flash Drive with Karl
- 0:07Speaker 1: and we see on KFM ninety four point five.
- 0:10Speaker 2: Yeah we're back, baby, that's where it is. Flash Drive,
- 0:13Speaker 2: KFM ninety four point five. Apologies for not being here yesterday, Cassidy,
- 0:18Speaker 2: sorry about that.
- 0:19Speaker 3: I apologize, but you know.
- 0:20Speaker 2: Every now and then you get a little something that
- 0:22Speaker 2: clashes with another thing, and then you have to go
- 0:24Speaker 2: to the something. So I went to the something. However,
- 0:26Speaker 2: at the something.
- 0:27Speaker 4: Yeah, there was a.
- 0:29Speaker 2: Lot of love for what we do here between three
- 0:31Speaker 2: and seven weekdays on KFM ninety four point five. And
- 0:34Speaker 2: I want to thank every single person who came up
- 0:36Speaker 2: to me at that something and asked me to play
- 0:38Speaker 2: flash food with him on the spot.
- 0:41Speaker 3: Yeah, I want to thank those people.
- 0:44Speaker 2: But a lot of love in that room, but there's
- 0:46Speaker 2: nothing like the love that is right here on the
- 0:49Speaker 2: show till seven. Welcome and Niche Matiana, who was in yesterday.
- 0:55Speaker 3: I love that man.
- 0:56Speaker 2: I trust him with this show, so when I'm not here,
- 1:00Speaker 2: he is just Honestly, there are things in Mitch's future
- 1:04Speaker 2: that I'm excited about already, and whether he knows it
- 1:07Speaker 2: or believes he deserves it or not, I don't care.
- 1:09Speaker 2: But I'll keep on reminding him because whenever you get
- 1:12Speaker 2: it to these spaces, you don't go to these spaces
- 1:15Speaker 2: just to plunk yourself down and say I've made it.
- 1:18Speaker 2: You go for everybody who wants to be there, to
- 1:21Speaker 2: show them that it's possible. And for Mitch anything is possible.
- 1:28Speaker 2: Excited for him, honestly, I am. He's a brilliant broadcaster. Sorry,
- 1:32Speaker 2: I just have to say that in the beginning, and
- 1:34Speaker 2: now I can get to the fact.
- 1:35Speaker 3: That did you miss me? I did? Did you?
- 1:37Speaker 4: Of course?
- 1:39Speaker 2: Now when it comes to I mean, while I'm on
- 1:41Speaker 2: an aspirational I have a very very important thing to
- 1:44Speaker 2: share with you, very very important.
- 1:46Speaker 3: Okay.
- 1:49Speaker 2: I know there was no sunshineming because I was gone
- 1:51Speaker 2: yesterday for you Cassidy specifically, But here's a little story
- 1:55Speaker 2: about your big ideas, about the things that you sit
- 1:59Speaker 2: on and you believe that it will never happen.
- 2:02Speaker 5: No.
- 2:03Speaker 2: Bill Withers wrote this song She Goes at age thirty one.
- 2:08Speaker 2: He was working at a factory that made aircraft toilet parts,
- 2:11Speaker 2: and when the song later went gold, this record label
- 2:14Speaker 2: celebrated by giving him a golden toilet seat. Few artists
- 2:17Speaker 2: can say their breakthrough career literally started in the toilet industry.
- 2:22Speaker 2: So no matter where you are, no matter your circumstances,
- 2:26Speaker 2: you got an idea, don't sit on it like you.
- 2:30Speaker 3: Would a toilet seat.
- 2:32Speaker 2: Believe in it and put it out there and let
- 2:35Speaker 2: it grow and let it go on the dark. Other
- 2:44Speaker 2: than that, you're can win his clicks today and there's
- 2:46Speaker 2: a lovely session of which they hits at six coming aways.
- 2:48Speaker 2: While also I'll be announcing the winner of our Star
- 2:52Speaker 2: Wars Mandalorian and Grogu competition. We are getting ever closer
- 2:55Speaker 2: to that twelve thousand rand lights saber that someone's gonna win.
- 2:57Speaker 2: I don't know if they're going to send me one
- 2:59Speaker 2: that they should. I don't mean to HOOI, but I'd
- 3:01Speaker 2: love one, thank you, that'd be great. And what else
- 3:04Speaker 2: is there? Just your company un till seven is enough
- 3:05Speaker 2: for me. So let's set this Alex Warren track. It's
- 3:08Speaker 2: brand new. It's called fever Dream. It's so good to
- 3:11Speaker 2: be back in your company. Welcome to your flash drive.
- 3:13Speaker 2: This is KFEM ninety four point five Jordan's Spark's Battlefield.
- 3:20Speaker 2: Welcome to your flash drive KFEM ninety four point five.
- 3:22Speaker 2: It is so nice to have you along for the
- 3:24Speaker 2: ride till seven o'clock.
- 3:27Speaker 3: Co boo boom, chip bom, Chip boom, Chip boom, chip pop.
- 3:33Speaker 2: All right, before the show, I want to just bring
- 3:37Speaker 2: you into something quickly. Before the show, I was just
- 3:39Speaker 2: telling my team, telling Jody and Pietrice and Cassidy about
- 3:44Speaker 2: after I did my thing yesterday, all right, that thing
- 3:47Speaker 2: that kept me away from this thing, I had an idea, Yeah,
- 3:53Speaker 2: and I just got writing, and I'm at this point
- 3:56Speaker 2: now where I think this writing it's gonna go somewhere,
- 4:01Speaker 2: and it's going to go down to basics. And these
- 4:05Speaker 2: basics are very important because in the thing that I
- 4:07Speaker 2: was doing yesterday, you started realizing more and more, no
- 4:11Speaker 2: matter how close proximity you are with the people you
- 4:13Speaker 2: care about, do you know enough about them? And I
- 4:18Speaker 2: proposed to my team that I think sometimes we know
- 4:22Speaker 2: just enough to keep the relationship going, because perhaps you're
- 4:25Speaker 2: not ready for the other bits of information, nor do
- 4:27Speaker 2: we have a desire to know a little bit more,
- 4:29Speaker 2: because we are afraid that it would affect the existing relationship,
- 4:32Speaker 2: so very selfishly, we only know what we want to
- 4:35Speaker 2: know in order to maintain the relationship, as opposed to
- 4:39Speaker 2: know more and challenge yourself in knowing more about somebody
- 4:44Speaker 2: and retaining that relationship. Now, I know it sounds very complicated,
- 4:48Speaker 2: But is that theory that I proposed completely.
- 4:53Speaker 3: Out of whack?
- 4:55Speaker 4: Are you asking me?
- 4:56Speaker 3: I'm asking you now.
- 4:57Speaker 4: Okay, I don't think it is out of w at all.
- 5:01Speaker 4: I think we've grown to be a very controlling people,
- 5:05Speaker 4: and so we tell one another what we think is
- 5:10Speaker 4: going to help.
- 5:11Speaker 3: Us keep the peace or see.
- 5:13Speaker 4: You know, it's like how people present themselves on first
- 5:16Speaker 4: dates and so and so, because it's like, but I
- 5:18Speaker 4: want them to think that I'm you know, because there
- 5:23Speaker 4: is a chance, there is a very small chance that
- 5:25Speaker 4: if we give everything and we are vulnerable and we
- 5:29Speaker 4: are we are truly honest and authentic, that someone might
- 5:32Speaker 4: not accept us for who we are. And that scares us.
- 5:35Speaker 4: But is it really scary because now you're serving through
- 5:38Speaker 4: the people that don't deserve to be with you in
- 5:39Speaker 4: the first place. Right.
- 5:40Speaker 2: There's a lovely book called The Courage to Be Disliked,
- 5:44Speaker 2: And it's another book that I that I think also
- 5:47Speaker 2: speaks to my little theory. And I'm not someone who
- 5:51Speaker 2: just complains. I like solutions and I have this idea
- 5:54Speaker 2: about a solution. It is not a new idea, but
- 5:57Speaker 2: because recently I purchased a pack of these that I
- 6:01Speaker 2: started writing my own conversation cards. Oh okay, now you've
- 6:06Speaker 2: heard about these.
- 6:07Speaker 4: Yes I have. I've seen a bunch of them, and they.
- 6:11Speaker 3: I've brought.
- 6:13Speaker 4: No, it's okay. I'm just I'm refecting on the ones
- 6:15Speaker 4: that I've seen, and they're not always the greatest.
- 6:18Speaker 2: I brought the pack that I that I got with
- 6:20Speaker 2: me because I think that if you're apprehensive to ask
- 6:25Speaker 2: certain questions, then you have something like this pack over here,
- 6:28Speaker 2: just like so I'm shuffling. Okay, you can shuffle through,
- 6:33Speaker 2: pick out a question and get to know somebody a
- 6:36Speaker 2: little bit better. And I think this is what where
- 6:38Speaker 2: it excites me. When I read through these, I thought
- 6:40Speaker 2: I could write better ones. So I wrote about one
- 6:42Speaker 2: hundred because I was very inspired. But it it really
- 6:46Speaker 2: opened up certain people around me that I've known for
- 6:50Speaker 2: a long time, and I thought, this is such a
- 6:52Speaker 2: nice way of broaching a variety of different topics, but
- 6:55Speaker 2: at the same time keeping it simple, like as simple
- 6:58Speaker 2: as asking one question and italy evoke an entire conversation
- 7:02Speaker 2: and that's what it should.
- 7:04Speaker 4: Okay, ask me a question.
- 7:06Speaker 3: Do you want a deep one? Or do you want
- 7:07Speaker 3: a fun one?
- 7:08Speaker 4: I am whatever you need me to be, So whatever
- 7:10Speaker 4: card comes out, that's the one you ask.
- 7:14Speaker 2: What's something you could do five years ago that you
- 7:17Speaker 2: can't do today? It's nice and light five, it's twenty
- 7:21Speaker 2: twenty six here, So don't you can't say you can't
- 7:24Speaker 2: say go outside because that was twenty twenty.
- 7:28Speaker 4: Symbol constantru mom. You know, I mean I can still so,
- 7:35Speaker 4: but it's just I know, career is it's different. I've
- 7:40Speaker 4: grown constantial mom's grown.
- 7:42Speaker 2: Okay, So I'm shuffling these ones unless you want the
- 7:47Speaker 2: one that I wrote.
- 7:49Speaker 3: What you wrote, I thought you'd never ask. Okay, Okay,
- 7:52Speaker 3: So I wrote a couple. And I love the simplicity here,
- 7:55Speaker 3: I really do. I love the fact that we can
- 7:57Speaker 3: just get together and we can just have one question,
- 8:02Speaker 3: an evoke a question, and then just get some answers.
- 8:04Speaker 2: I think it's beautiful. How about this, right? I need
- 8:08Speaker 2: a smell that instantly brings back your childhood, A smell.
- 8:17Speaker 4: Alien spray?
- 8:21Speaker 3: Did they saw that at the tuch shop?
- 8:23Speaker 4: That Campspey Primary or from heaven that's stuff that you
- 8:26Speaker 4: were like atensively to Danny k Shop. Yes, yes, right,
- 8:30Speaker 4: Uh my word, that's all the smell of nuggets, yo,
- 8:35Speaker 4: keepy nugget. Yeah, the smell of nuggets because I had
- 8:37Speaker 4: to nugget my school shoes every Sunday with my dad.
- 8:39Speaker 2: We all did well, we had to make that work
- 8:42Speaker 2: for me. I would say, lavender floor polish. When you
- 8:48Speaker 2: had parquet flooring. Okay, the parquet flooring you had to
- 8:51Speaker 2: look after it, and the people would be like, you
- 8:54Speaker 2: know what, you're an able bodied person now. And for
- 8:57Speaker 2: some every single time, in fact specifically, it will actually
- 9:00Speaker 2: remind me of Christmas time. But I think if it
- 9:03Speaker 2: goes back to a certain like the childhood, that was
- 9:05Speaker 2: one thing that I think would definitely it would. It
- 9:08Speaker 2: would make a difference. Oh my word, you said, but
- 9:10Speaker 2: you understand. Suddenly suddenly I get to know more about
- 9:13Speaker 2: you now. I know that you you had to do
- 9:16Speaker 2: the polish of the shoes first, and night get goes
- 9:18Speaker 2: on and then you have a little buffer to make
- 9:20Speaker 2: it really shiny. And that's why I thought to get
- 9:23Speaker 2: to know each other more. I think we just have
- 9:25Speaker 2: to answer, like, answer more questions, ask more questions and
- 9:28Speaker 2: be ready for all answers because we get to connect
- 9:30Speaker 2: a little bit better.
- 9:31Speaker 4: I like that.
- 9:32Speaker 2: I think it's so beautiful. So look out for more
- 9:34Speaker 2: questions today and every other day. I think it'd be important.
- 9:39Speaker 2: Can I ask you one more question?
- 9:40Speaker 4: You can ask me whatever you want, all right?
- 9:42Speaker 3: The question is so heavy one.
- 9:47Speaker 2: House traffic while you're working. I was working for you
- 9:55Speaker 2: and for you, Cassidy, working very hard to give you
- 9:59Speaker 2: some good information. It's the flash Driver, by the way,
- 10:01Speaker 2: K from ninety four point five. So let me just
- 10:03Speaker 2: tell you straight up, and I know you're going to
- 10:05Speaker 2: love this and you're going to want to stream and
- 10:08Speaker 2: shout about it. Okay, we might even have to run
- 10:10Speaker 2: to HR or to our boss. A new study suggests
- 10:15Speaker 2: that one big annual holiday might not be enough to
- 10:19Speaker 2: properly recover from stress and burn out. Researchers found that shorter,
- 10:24Speaker 2: more frequent vacations roughly every two months may help people
- 10:30Speaker 2: recharge more effectively and maintain better emotional well being over time,
- 10:35Speaker 2: making them better employees and more effective when doing tasks
- 10:39Speaker 2: for your company. The study also found that the benefits
- 10:42Speaker 2: of a holiday can disappear within weeks of returning to work. Therefore,
- 10:46Speaker 2: roughly every two months a vacation is needed for living optimally.
- 10:52Speaker 3: Thank you.
- 10:54Speaker 4: First of all. Yes, Second of all, So you mean
- 10:58Speaker 4: to tell me the gen zs were onto something when
- 10:59Speaker 4: they once in personal days.
- 11:04Speaker 3: I am not responding to that, Oh gosh, because it's.
- 11:08Speaker 4: Like nosing is different.
- 11:11Speaker 2: This is different, this is different, this is this is
- 11:16Speaker 2: not no, this is not like a Monday. And this
- 11:19Speaker 2: weekend was very very heavy on my quartosol and I
- 11:22Speaker 2: can't come to work. And it's like, but you're a
- 11:25Speaker 2: heart surgeon. There's a surgery. What do you mean you
- 11:29Speaker 2: understand what I'm saying. Okay, it's not. This is about
- 11:32Speaker 2: ensuring that there's that awareness to to break time.
- 11:35Speaker 3: Yeah, like I would. I would totally argue.
- 11:37Speaker 2: That people who work in media in this like doing
- 11:41Speaker 2: shows every day, six days a week, et cetera, like
- 11:44Speaker 2: you need a bit off, you need a break of
- 11:47Speaker 2: about two weeks in the.
- 11:48Speaker 3: Middle of the year. Mine are at the end of
- 11:51Speaker 3: the years. Oh I think that's fair.
- 11:53Speaker 4: Mind you, even with that push, you still wouldn't take
- 11:57Speaker 4: the break. You love You love what you do so
- 12:01Speaker 4: much that even though you need the break, you wouldn't
- 12:03Speaker 4: take them.
- 12:04Speaker 2: Break I'm also not going to respond to that. Doing
- 12:08Speaker 2: well today, You've got the two responses the same thing.
- 12:10Speaker 2: I don't mean to know, no comment, no comment? Then yeah,
- 12:15Speaker 2: all right and you. Study found the teens of spending
- 12:19Speaker 2: an average of more than fifty minutes on their phones
- 12:23Speaker 2: overnight during school nights. It's nearly half using them between
- 12:28Speaker 2: midnight and four am. Most of that time was spent
- 12:32Speaker 2: on apps like TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and games like Growblocks.
- 12:35Speaker 2: Research researchers say the issue is in a screen time.
- 12:38Speaker 3: It's stimulation.
- 12:40Speaker 2: Social media keeps the brain emotionally active long after the
- 12:42Speaker 2: phone is put down, making it harder to properly sleep.
- 12:46Speaker 2: The only problem is there's a loop there because as
- 12:48Speaker 2: soon as you feed your brain something, as soon as
- 12:51Speaker 2: that effect wears off, what happens the brain craves it again.
- 12:55Speaker 3: Yes, have you done this?
- 12:56Speaker 2: And I think this is a good test of if
- 12:57Speaker 2: you are too connected to your phone, if you struggle
- 13:01Speaker 2: to sleep right, yeah, at night, if you struggle. Okay,
- 13:09Speaker 2: Erica Kalitz just said more music, less talk. I'm talking, Eric,
- 13:12Speaker 2: You're very rude. Moving along. I'm saying that. What I'm
- 13:17Speaker 2: saying is that have you ever found yourself with a
- 13:19Speaker 2: cell phone right next to your bed, and then you
- 13:22Speaker 2: are in and out of sleep, and then you keep
- 13:24Speaker 2: on going back to the cell phone. Erica just sent
- 13:27Speaker 2: me a heart. I don't care. Eric couldn't be rude otherwise,
- 13:29Speaker 2: good of the WhatsApp line.
- 13:30Speaker 3: Continue. You were saying, Oh.
- 13:33Speaker 4: Gosh, I'm someone that's very cognizant of that being a problem.
- 13:37Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 13:37Speaker 4: So I'm someone that puts my phone in another room,
- 13:40Speaker 4: especially because I wake up so early to go to gym,
- 13:42Speaker 4: so I need to get up to go and turn
- 13:44Speaker 4: my alarm off. So when I'm down on my phone,
- 13:47Speaker 4: I'm down on my phone.
- 13:48Speaker 2: So you do, Okay, you have that discipline. I don't
- 13:50Speaker 2: think a lot of people have the discipline at the moment.
- 13:52Speaker 4: Yeah, but it's just because I know that I would
- 13:54Speaker 4: be that person.
- 13:55Speaker 2: Yes, No, that's that's essentially it, right, that's the So
- 13:59Speaker 2: I just it'd be very very good to to just
- 14:03Speaker 2: make sure that you're cognizant of that, because that is
- 14:05Speaker 2: happening over here.
- 14:06Speaker 3: It's very very interesting. But I thought i'd throw that
- 14:08Speaker 3: onto you.
- 14:09Speaker 2: And then just after four o'clock, I've got something for
- 14:11Speaker 2: you because there's another little bit of science that I
- 14:13Speaker 2: want to share, and it's around modern attraction.
- 14:17Speaker 3: Okay, and this is this is wild.
- 14:21Speaker 2: It's wild about you know, traditionally you thought attraction with
- 14:23Speaker 2: a certain thing. It's completely different now okay, so this
- 14:26Speaker 2: is after fall. I mean, do you want it now?
- 14:28Speaker 4: No? No?
- 14:28Speaker 5: No?
- 14:30Speaker 4: Is Erica? Okay with us? Can we talk?
- 14:32Speaker 2: I don't think so, but I think you know, it's
- 14:34Speaker 2: some people just want attention, and I'm very very happy
- 14:36Speaker 2: to give it to anybody, including this individual. But I
- 14:40Speaker 2: think while you're talking about something in the middle of
- 14:42Speaker 2: the thought, to get a little message like that, so
- 14:44Speaker 2: clearly the person. By the way, there's something called the podcast.
- 14:46Speaker 2: It's called forty before forty. You can listen to that
- 14:49Speaker 2: rather if you don't want anything. Yeah, that's that's a
- 14:52Speaker 2: vayable on Primetia Plus. That's an app you can download
- 14:54Speaker 2: onto your phone. So please feel free. It'll be wonderful.
- 14:57Speaker 2: So have a good one. I appreciate you.
- 15:00Speaker 3: Love it.
- 15:01Speaker 2: Alternatively, put on a playlist, Erica, thank you, bit bit boy,
- 15:09Speaker 2: shut up all beyond. Hey, there we go. It's your
- 15:14Speaker 2: flash drive. K FAIM ninety four point five. My name
- 15:16Speaker 2: is Carl Wasty. This lovely lady alongside me is Cassidy
- 15:18Speaker 2: Jade Nicholson, and I promised a conversation around something quite unique,
- 15:25Speaker 2: modern attraction. Now, what do you find attractive about a somebody?
- 15:31Speaker 2: Just I need to ask. Even if it's something very traditional,
- 15:33Speaker 2: it could be something physical.
- 15:34Speaker 3: Go for it. What do you find attractive about somebody?
- 15:39Speaker 4: Ummmm? Physical?
- 15:43Speaker 2: It doesn't matter anything, even if it's superficial, doesn't matter.
- 15:45Speaker 2: Just tell me, Like when you notice somebody like, ooh
- 15:48Speaker 2: the guys, nice hands hands. Okay, forget the cheesey pick
- 15:55Speaker 2: up lines in the gym. Self is According to a
- 15:57Speaker 2: fascinating ranking of the tiny things that secretly shape attraction,
- 16:01Speaker 2: romance is actually influenced by everything from posture to ear
- 16:07Speaker 2: placement to the vegetables one eats.
- 16:11Speaker 3: Yes, are you so you're notdding?
- 16:13Speaker 2: So you agree with all of these because there are
- 16:16Speaker 2: other things that attract people to others. It's not just
- 16:19Speaker 2: having a six pack and great pecks and huge shoulders
- 16:22Speaker 2: and nice traps and biceps and beautiful eyebrows and lovely
- 16:27Speaker 2: color of eyes, plumpness of your lips, straightness of a nose.
- 16:31Speaker 2: That like, there's a lot of those things that are
- 16:33Speaker 2: so esthetic. Here are top ten weirdly specific things that
- 16:39Speaker 2: affect attraction. At number ten Cassidy J. Nicholson, Talking into
- 16:45Speaker 2: different ears is surprisingly important. Research suggests people emotionally process
- 16:52Speaker 2: certain types of communication differently depending on which ear hears
- 16:55Speaker 2: at first. Human beings are unbelievably complicated in that way.
- 17:00Speaker 2: So if you really want to hear, if you want
- 17:02Speaker 2: to hear me, do you turn your right here toward
- 17:05Speaker 2: me or your left toward me?
- 17:06Speaker 4: I feel like I'm turning my left ear right, yes.
- 17:09Speaker 3: But now maybe to a potential suitor, you turn your
- 17:12Speaker 3: right here to them?
- 17:13Speaker 4: Who knows you?
- 17:14Speaker 2: See what I'm saying. This is weird, right, it gets weirder.
- 17:17Speaker 2: Wearing red can make all the difference on a first date.
- 17:21Speaker 4: Yes, I know that. That's actually like, if you read
- 17:24Speaker 4: any of the articles that are in magazines for what
- 17:26Speaker 4: to wear, it always says that a woman should wear red.
- 17:29Speaker 4: It's striking, it evokes passion, but it's also the first
- 17:32Speaker 4: thing you see and it's like, it's memorable.
- 17:35Speaker 2: I also think there's a certain reverse psychology because everything
- 17:39Speaker 2: that's red in our sphere is hazard or danger. So
- 17:45Speaker 2: running toward hazard and danger seems very exciting.
- 17:49Speaker 4: You know where that danger is wed.
- 17:54Speaker 2: A diet heavy and fruits and vegetables might make you
- 17:56Speaker 2: more attractive to a potential suitor. According to this, healthy
- 17:59Speaker 2: eating is on the map of ear for weirdly specific things.
- 18:03Speaker 2: Adrenaline levels at the time of meeting subtly control romantic interest.
- 18:07Speaker 2: To believe it, so that's a hormonal connection. People may
- 18:09Speaker 2: unknowingly look for partners that share an eye color, wow
- 18:14Speaker 2: with a specific parent Dundundun. The mirroring of a person's
- 18:21Speaker 2: actions can determine their attractiveness. The more you mirror someone,
- 18:23Speaker 2: the more you are attractive to them. Different pictures of
- 18:27Speaker 2: voice appeal to men and women, depending on which one's
- 18:31Speaker 2: more attractive.
- 18:32Speaker 4: So did you lower your voice?
- 18:33Speaker 3: I don't know you're talking about just going to this list?
- 18:35Speaker 3: What do you mean? Number three?
- 18:37Speaker 2: Good posture can make you more attractive instead of slouching
- 18:40Speaker 2: over maybe someone A good posture. By the way, for me,
- 18:44Speaker 2: posture is hot. Really, I want to tell you that,
- 18:46Speaker 2: like can I tell you people who have been in
- 18:49Speaker 2: the dance world. Dancers have the most incredible posture and
- 18:52Speaker 2: that is extremely attractive. The scent of an immune system
- 18:56Speaker 2: can be more attractive to a partner. Science says people
- 18:59Speaker 2: sub consciously pick up biological compatibility through scent and you
- 19:02Speaker 2: don't even know it. And then number one, communication style
- 19:05Speaker 2: slightly guides what draws people together. Apparently the way people speak, respond,
- 19:09Speaker 2: and communicate emotionally plays a huge role in attraction. This
- 19:13Speaker 2: is what I want to venture into with you. What
- 19:15Speaker 2: is the weird attractive points for you? Things that bring
- 19:20Speaker 2: you close to people? Off the chart type of thing,
- 19:24Speaker 2: not traditional?
- 19:25Speaker 4: Okay, well, this is just a silly thing that I
- 19:29Speaker 4: find attractive. I look for certain ways a man drives.
- 19:40Speaker 2: I'm sorry, you can't just have that as a headline.
- 19:42Speaker 2: I need an article. What do you mean the way
- 19:44Speaker 2: a man drives?
- 19:46Speaker 3: Hold? Do you like the whole palm on the steerac
- 19:50Speaker 3: and do you like that flat palm thing?
- 19:52Speaker 4: And listen, I'm going to say it. If you want
- 19:54Speaker 4: to get me pregnant. Put your hand on the back
- 19:56Speaker 4: of my seat when we're reversing. Ah, like, oh, what
- 20:03Speaker 4: do you mean? Like now we're reversing and you're looking
- 20:06Speaker 4: over my shop? Please please be so serious my hand
- 20:10Speaker 4: in marriage? Of course?
- 20:12Speaker 3: Do you know what I like?
- 20:13Speaker 2: I's sorry, I just like I like vocab, I love
- 20:18Speaker 2: a big word.
- 20:20Speaker 3: Special. I'm sorry, this is why this is not gonna work.
- 20:26Speaker 4: Did you just bring up with me?
- 20:28Speaker 3: Yes, I did. You went Boha mal by the way,
- 20:30Speaker 3: beschamal from bohon doll, it's called bosha mal. There we Well,
- 20:33Speaker 3: you're welcome wash and doll. Yeah. So I just think
- 20:36Speaker 3: that if you you don't have to be.
- 20:38Speaker 2: Over overly verbose about the big words, right, But if
- 20:44Speaker 2: suddenly you drop in something about like I just found
- 20:47Speaker 2: this book a little convoluted, and I'm like, excuse me.
- 20:49Speaker 3: One, sorry, let's say that again slower. You know, I
- 20:55Speaker 3: get it. I don't know why I love vocab. I
- 20:56Speaker 3: don't know. I just I don't. I can't explain it.
- 20:58Speaker 3: I love simple language.
- 20:59Speaker 2: But if you throw in a big word in the
- 21:03Speaker 2: right way at the right time, yeah, my head turns.
- 21:06Speaker 3: I might get whiplash.
- 21:08Speaker 4: It's so crazy because I'm thinking about this right, and
- 21:11Speaker 4: I'm like, it definitely means something at a deeper level,
- 21:14Speaker 4: like I've got a thing with a man who's definitely
- 21:17Speaker 4: in control, and you like a woman who's educated.
- 21:21Speaker 2: Like it doesn't say that's the thing. It doesn't have
- 21:24Speaker 2: to be particularly edgy.
- 21:26Speaker 4: I know that, but it's like someone who's who's well spoken,
- 21:29Speaker 4: or like but that's a confidence.
- 21:31Speaker 2: Even like you don't have to be have a degree
- 21:33Speaker 2: to be with me. I'm just saying it's fine. You
- 21:36Speaker 2: don't need tertiary.
- 21:37Speaker 4: Just be interested in a book, man, But just have like.
- 21:40Speaker 2: One word you got from a book or a you
- 21:42Speaker 2: magazine once and you know what it means, and you
- 21:44Speaker 2: drop it in exactly. You could sell me. They're not
- 21:46Speaker 2: just just call I hungry. But the beshamal that I saw,
- 21:51Speaker 2: I was like, what sorry, what say it again?
- 21:54Speaker 6: Who?
- 21:54Speaker 3: And nothing has something to.
- 21:56Speaker 7: Do with food?
- 21:56Speaker 2: You Oh, you hitting the marks all the time, but
- 22:00Speaker 2: you know there's one little weird thing that attracts you
- 22:03Speaker 2: outside of the traditional you know where to share.
- 22:06Speaker 3: There's a WhatsApp.
- 22:07Speaker 4: Line online right now.
- 22:09Speaker 3: Fatima, Hello, car, I'm you Hello.
- 22:15Speaker 2: We were just chatting about these strange attractive triggers. Called
- 22:19Speaker 2: him that because it's not always traditional. It's not always
- 22:21Speaker 2: like the six spec and the oil and you know,
- 22:24Speaker 2: it's the you know, sort of the certain features of
- 22:27Speaker 2: a of a woman that's more physical. Sometimes you have
- 22:29Speaker 2: a weird thing that you attracted to. Do you have
- 22:31Speaker 2: one of those?
- 22:33Speaker 8: Yes, I do, I do.
- 22:35Speaker 1: So.
- 22:36Speaker 8: My husband drives a four by four double cab so
- 22:40Speaker 8: those things aren't the smallest of vehicle.
- 22:43Speaker 3: No, And whenever.
- 22:44Speaker 8: We're driving and you know, we need to find a
- 22:46Speaker 8: parking spot, and I'll look at the puck and I'm like, no,
- 22:50Speaker 8: you never, it just could us van comforting me and
- 22:54Speaker 8: he puts it in lifeless love. And when he does that,
- 22:58Speaker 8: and I just give him that look. I mean, you
- 23:00Speaker 8: know me. You knows that's that's just for me giving
- 23:06Speaker 8: you for my food. I will head into the titles
- 23:08Speaker 8: parking spots.
- 23:11Speaker 3: Sure, Fatima. I have so many things I want to
- 23:14Speaker 3: say to you now, but it's a family. Yea, she was.
- 23:18Speaker 2: I was about you know what, I'm going to say
- 23:19Speaker 2: this one line to you. I can't imagine how that
- 23:23Speaker 2: would be attractive. How when you think that it won't
- 23:26Speaker 2: fit and you you put into gear and you wait
- 23:30Speaker 2: and it's there. You know, but you you or you
- 23:37Speaker 2: are wonderful.
- 23:38Speaker 3: Thank you for.
- 23:43Speaker 8: There's lots of other things that people think that I'm attracted.
- 23:46Speaker 8: I mean, I think and just a little said. But
- 23:50Speaker 8: as well, you know him. You've interviewed him so many
- 23:53Speaker 8: times already, so you think that you're singing would have
- 23:57Speaker 8: been the turn.
- 23:58Speaker 3: On, But it's not a whoa hold on. Tell me
- 24:05Speaker 3: who the abuse.
- 24:08Speaker 8: You've you've interviewed him.
- 24:11Speaker 3: Oh my word, I use is is factor? Your your man?
- 24:15Speaker 2: By the way, he's also very good looking as well.
- 24:19Speaker 2: You know that, hey, he can He's actually unfair because
- 24:21Speaker 2: now that I heard the new information about him, he's
- 24:23Speaker 2: being very unfair to the rest of us because now
- 24:26Speaker 2: he's got everything the boxes tick. He can park a
- 24:28Speaker 2: massive double cab and he can sing an. He's good looking. Nah,
- 24:32Speaker 2: and he's probably reverse parking no no, no no, that
- 24:35Speaker 2: ali doc.
- 24:35Speaker 3: As well parallel park.
- 24:38Speaker 2: You're Fatima. Thank you so much and please send my love.
- 24:40Speaker 2: He's wonderful and thanks for the support of the show.
- 24:45Speaker 2: I appreciate you. Goodness. The weird things you find attractive,
- 24:48Speaker 2: my word.
- 24:49Speaker 7: Something that isn't normal that I find his attractive. I
- 24:53Speaker 7: spoke about it before. But when my husband is being
- 24:57Speaker 7: stern and win need ripprimont the children because he's a
- 25:02Speaker 7: teacher also and him and he tells me the stories
- 25:04Speaker 7: about it, it reminds them.
- 25:05Speaker 3: It's like, sure, I'm getting.
- 25:07Speaker 4: Warm now it's need to remand me. Also, I was bad.
- 25:11Speaker 3: I was naughty also, sir.
- 25:22Speaker 9: Yoh man, you know I don't know what are your
- 25:27Speaker 9: boss try about try who.
- 25:31Speaker 3: Is the egcorn on you just rather word it's the way,
- 25:36Speaker 3: it's just the way you said it. Man, I wasn't
- 25:38Speaker 3: being naughty, sir. Thank you for sharing.
- 25:44Speaker 2: I'm looking forward to more. Brian Adams wants to sing
- 25:47Speaker 2: first thet him go They did him cook. It's Brian
- 25:52Speaker 2: Adams summer of sixty nine. Case you went around earlier,
- 25:55Speaker 2: it's your flash drive of k fromninety four point five
- 25:57Speaker 2: weekdays three to seven pm.
- 25:59Speaker 3: Don't miss as show.
- 26:00Speaker 2: You may be missing out on people sharing the weird
- 26:03Speaker 2: things they find attractive.
- 26:04Speaker 3: Mardly Hello, Ca, Hello, now hello up to you.
- 26:12Speaker 2: That's fine, all right, love you. So here's the thing
- 26:15Speaker 2: we were sharing some of the weirdest things. I mean,
- 26:17Speaker 2: for me, I like a little vocap. I like a
- 26:19Speaker 2: little big word thrown into a sentence or a paragraph,
- 26:21Speaker 2: so it could be very very simple communication. And then
- 26:23Speaker 2: there's that one word that gets my attention. I feel
- 26:26Speaker 2: like that's pretty attractive for you. It's when that guy
- 26:28Speaker 2: reverses right, flat palm and then he put his hands
- 26:33Speaker 2: hold on Madley. Before you continue, Karen Anne also has one.
- 26:36Speaker 2: Sorry Karen, I'm going to draw you in here. Weird
- 26:38Speaker 2: thing you find attractive.
- 26:40Speaker 10: When my guy wears a very shirty shirt to work
- 26:44Speaker 10: and he rolls up his sleeves, you can see the
- 26:46Speaker 10: bits of his arms and he just looks so serious
- 26:48Speaker 10: butt at the same time.
- 26:50Speaker 3: Almost like a teacher.
- 26:51Speaker 2: Like it was mentioned earlier, you know, like you the
- 26:53Speaker 2: discipline from the teacher one and the woman said that
- 26:56Speaker 2: she felt a bit warm.
- 26:59Speaker 3: Okay, monny for you, what is it?
- 27:02Speaker 5: Yes, so you said black bechamel and food is your vibe.
- 27:06Speaker 11: Alcohol.
- 27:07Speaker 5: So whenever my husband like popularly opens a bottle of
- 27:11Speaker 5: wine or champagne, like unfoiling it and then uncorking it,
- 27:16Speaker 5: and then when it opens it like I get it, like.
- 27:26Speaker 4: The screw and then everything and then he pushes the
- 27:29Speaker 4: screw specific and then and then he shushes them, and
- 27:37Speaker 4: then he pushes the things down, and.
- 27:39Speaker 5: Then he handles the little money, the little.
- 27:41Speaker 4: The little arms of that, and then it comes out perfectly.
- 27:44Speaker 3: Hold the money. Does this money? Does this also work?
- 27:48Speaker 2: When when someone opens a beer with another beer, does
- 27:51Speaker 2: that also equally as attractive to you?
- 27:53Speaker 12: Yes, my husband can do it with his wedding ring.
- 27:55Speaker 4: You can open the.
- 27:56Speaker 3: Stop it now. That is just pure talent right there. Okay,
- 27:59Speaker 3: you're a lucky woman.
- 28:01Speaker 2: If you're going to put your wedding ring there, hey,
- 28:03Speaker 2: that just very quickly, and then still ask you a
- 28:06Speaker 2: question about your day thereafter.
- 28:08Speaker 4: It's not the same.
- 28:09Speaker 5: Do you want to lift up your feet and I'll
- 28:11Speaker 5: do the dinner?
- 28:12Speaker 4: Okay?
- 28:13Speaker 3: Okay?
- 28:14Speaker 2: By the way, yeah, because I mean the sound effect
- 28:16Speaker 2: you made earlier, I was very worried about the show.
- 28:18Speaker 3: Thank you, Madley. I appreciate you.
- 28:20Speaker 2: See you want to share the weirdest thing you find attractive.
- 28:22Speaker 5: Let's go, hi, guys. So mine is a practically when
- 28:29Speaker 5: you know, when you make a time mat that and
- 28:31Speaker 5: then he has a little little muscle thing on the
- 28:34Speaker 5: side of his on the side of his chaw, just
- 28:36Speaker 5: like I do it on purpose, just so I can
- 28:38Speaker 5: see that.
- 28:38Speaker 4: And if you tell you that's.
- 28:42Speaker 3: Not toxic at all, you know, you know what could
- 28:45Speaker 3: be a hack.
- 28:46Speaker 4: And don't quote me on this over cookie statement. Don't
- 28:50Speaker 4: promote that, because not only is he going to get
- 28:53Speaker 4: a little bit upset, he's also going to be chewing
- 28:56Speaker 4: for a long time.
- 28:58Speaker 3: Sure, why would you give this woman a do you
- 29:00Speaker 3: know what I mean? You can just see that flicky,
- 29:05Speaker 3: would you?
- 29:06Speaker 2: No?
- 29:06Speaker 4: No, no, I do not.
- 29:07Speaker 2: This show does not advocate for overcooking any meat of
- 29:09Speaker 2: any sort. A mess is brought to you by the
- 29:11Speaker 2: flash driver. The Bougie Brie Association of South Africa.
- 29:13Speaker 3: Shed by me.
- 29:14Speaker 2: Now find a different way, okay, just find a different way.
- 29:18Speaker 2: Do you know it's another good idea. When bubblegum loses
- 29:21Speaker 2: its flavor, just if you keep on chewing there, then
- 29:24Speaker 2: it's pure jaw.
- 29:25Speaker 5: Muscle block and then a different sweet and you know,
- 29:30Speaker 5: cut after Wilson block, and then I killed you on
- 29:33Speaker 5: that flavor.
- 29:33Speaker 12: And then I could just watch him.
- 29:36Speaker 3: Tell me something, what football team does your hobby support?
- 29:39Speaker 5: Oh?
- 29:40Speaker 4: Absolutely, no football, No really, no football.
- 29:44Speaker 3: At all, No, no rugby, no, no sport at all.
- 29:47Speaker 5: Nothing, which is very because it gets very uptick when
- 29:50Speaker 5: I watch our rusty players and then I'm like, all
- 29:52Speaker 5: this show looks nice and then I just.
- 29:54Speaker 11: Get a side.
- 29:55Speaker 4: You know, but.
- 29:57Speaker 3: Well, you know, nothing about what you said you do
- 30:00Speaker 3: to your hobby is toxic at all?
- 30:01Speaker 4: No?
- 30:02Speaker 3: Nothing? Sure? Oh well what a jaw saying?
- 30:07Speaker 2: She was, thank you very much for sharing, and yeah,
- 30:10Speaker 2: just keep the keep the man chewing on something, but
- 30:12Speaker 2: don't overcook the steak.
- 30:13Speaker 3: Why would you do? Why would you tell him?
- 30:15Speaker 4: Just trying to help us. I'm a feminist, but I
- 30:19Speaker 4: am a girl's girl.
- 30:20Speaker 3: I'm a meterist. Okay, I'm a meteorologist.
- 30:23Speaker 4: Don't you want him to have us? You know what
- 30:25Speaker 4: it's it's jaw maxing. No no, no no, he looks maxing.
- 30:30Speaker 4: No no, no no, His jaw's gonna be so strong.
- 30:33Speaker 2: Just use the steak, okay, don't desecrate the thought of
- 30:38Speaker 2: the honor of that animal. Okay, don't overcook the steak, please,
- 30:42Speaker 2: y'are I'm sooner warm now?
- 30:44Speaker 3: But not in that other way.
- 30:47Speaker 2: Sweet loves even saying cheers a couple of comments sort
- 30:50Speaker 2: of dripping over if I can say it in that way.
- 30:53Speaker 2: Given the fact that there are some people who find
- 30:56Speaker 2: things weirdly attractive, and that's okay, I want you to
- 30:58Speaker 2: share those feel free and I'd love to hear the
- 31:02Speaker 2: unique things, not just the person has nice curves and
- 31:05Speaker 2: nice that like those are very aesthetic. Yeah, sometimes there
- 31:08Speaker 2: are other things, like for me I mentioned earlier, vocab.
- 31:12Speaker 2: If you drop in a big word that makes my
- 31:14Speaker 2: head turned, and if you use it properly, you know
- 31:18Speaker 2: what I mean? Yes, not just saying something like it
- 31:20Speaker 2: shouldn't be a melopropoism. It's going to be something that's
- 31:22Speaker 2: used in a in a way that is in context,
- 31:26Speaker 2: doesn't matter, right whatever, And then you said you love
- 31:30Speaker 2: her when a guy does a flat hand and when
- 31:31Speaker 2: he's turning a big car, you.
- 31:32Speaker 4: Know what I mean, Or when he puts his hand
- 31:35Speaker 4: on my headdress, yes, when we're reversing, that's that's one
- 31:41Speaker 4: of those things.
- 31:41Speaker 2: Can I also mention if someone is incredibly efficient at
- 31:45Speaker 2: giving you clues for thirty seconds, that doesn't doesn't do
- 31:49Speaker 2: the whole Okay, mo mo mo MoMA, that doesn't do
- 31:51Speaker 2: the m go straight into it, right, monument paris go Like,
- 31:55Speaker 2: if someone's that efficient, it's a it's a big thing
- 31:57Speaker 2: for me.
- 31:58Speaker 4: Okay, hear me out, hear me out.
- 32:00Speaker 3: All right, I'm listening. I'm listening.
- 32:01Speaker 4: We're talking about what to order at a restaurant. Yes,
- 32:04Speaker 4: and then when the waight it comes goes, so she'll
- 32:07Speaker 4: have and I'll have. But do you think that's I
- 32:11Speaker 4: think that that's amazing? Like do you like it quite
- 32:13Speaker 4: literally spoken for? What do you mean?
- 32:15Speaker 3: Oh? That's oh, I get it, you know what I mean.
- 32:17Speaker 4: But it's not like, oh, this is what you know
- 32:19Speaker 4: through assumption all right, it's because we spoke about it
- 32:22Speaker 4: and now you've decided to do it on.
- 32:23Speaker 2: My behalf, Mesita said. When my man got his mistake
- 32:32Speaker 2: to me, I was like, you're.
- 32:35Speaker 13: Okay, I'm not sure this councer is a different or
- 32:39Speaker 13: odd thing to be attracted to. A woman would be, well,
- 32:44Speaker 13: I like a nice set of collar bones. Yeah, so
- 32:49Speaker 13: those halting tops, I think they're off the shoulder. Whatever
- 32:51Speaker 13: it is that shows the last collar bone got me.
- 32:57Speaker 2: Is something about the Q. I'm not gonna lie this,
- 33:00Speaker 2: something about collar I calling Cassidy.
- 33:03Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 33:03Speaker 5: This is weird.
- 33:06Speaker 3: I feel like it's common with a few females.
- 33:09Speaker 5: But I like pains.
- 33:12Speaker 3: I like frames in hands and fore arms and.
- 33:16Speaker 4: Saying I love it, preaching to the conversion.
- 33:21Speaker 3: Okay, are you also a vain person?
- 33:23Speaker 4: No?
- 33:23Speaker 3: I mean not like that. No, not like Erican. No
- 33:25Speaker 3: know what I mean.
- 33:25Speaker 2: You're a vain You're you're you're a vascular person. Yes, okay,
- 33:30Speaker 2: you're like Georgia says how they speak to their mom.
- 33:35Speaker 3: Very very very please.
- 33:36Speaker 4: Can you get me a coffee? Please?
- 33:38Speaker 2: Mummy?
- 33:40Speaker 3: So hold on you.
- 33:41Speaker 2: When your men says mommy, instead like mom, no, no, no,
- 33:44Speaker 2: I'm just I'm making absolutely.
- 33:48Speaker 3: Weird is coming over? Momsy, I love you. I think
- 33:53Speaker 3: you know what. I hope one day I love you
- 33:55Speaker 3: like I love my mom. Do you like those guys
- 33:58Speaker 3: the best?
- 34:00Speaker 2: Like?

- 36:51Speaker 2: get into it, Cassidy. One word that speaks to what's
- 36:55Speaker 2: on that piece of paper in front of you. Just
- 36:57Speaker 2: wonder the word.
- 36:58Speaker 4: I think it speaks to the common sessions we've been
- 37:00Speaker 4: having a whole day actually, and so I'm going.
- 37:03Speaker 3: To go with hot.
- 37:05Speaker 2: Okay, Belinda, yes, based on hot. I know it's the
- 37:08Speaker 2: first word. Give it a shot, anyway.

- 37:37Speaker 2: Some people can be that way, and if those people
- 37:39Speaker 2: are your lighthouse, you should take them to call call
- 37:41Speaker 2: it's wrong though. Thank you for trying, Berlina. This is

- 38:16Speaker 2: Someone really, really really would like to challenge you. Is
- 38:22Speaker 2: this Nisa, Yes it is. I'm disappointed. Why because you
- 38:28Speaker 2: have a full, beautiful name and you cannot allow me
- 38:32Speaker 2: to minimize what is a gorgeous name.
- 38:35Speaker 3: I refuse, I refuse.
- 38:38Speaker 11: Well you know what you know when you will give
- 38:41Speaker 11: your small shopper card or something to somebody, and I

- 38:52Speaker 11: my name.
- 38:53Speaker 2: I need you to say your full name. I would
- 38:55Speaker 2: like to only address you by your full name. It

- 39:33Speaker 3: Of it, I understand.
- 39:35Speaker 2: But when people don't get it right, I encourage you
- 39:37Speaker 2: to help them pronounce it in the best possible way,
- 39:40Speaker 2: because I think some people are very lazy to try,
- 39:43Speaker 2: and those people need to be addressed directly.
- 39:46Speaker 3: You know, next thing, you know, your name is Raya. No,
- 39:50Speaker 3: I exactly you understand, Heisa?

- 40:40Speaker 2: I know you got this.
- 40:41Speaker 3: Are you ready?
- 40:43Speaker 10: Yes?
- 40:44Speaker 2: Your time begins with the flash of being Q in

- 41:22Speaker 3: Time or you almost there? You're you only have thirty seconds.
- 41:26Speaker 3: You cannot think that longer. You must pass. I can't

- 41:35Speaker 2: let's go to the answers.

- 41:39Speaker 2: point six inches with a flash of being Q a cucumber.
- 41:44Speaker 2: The r in nsri is res q. The skin at

- 41:52Speaker 2: cu pine. Your last question would have been an American
- 41:56Speaker 2: brie and you would have said that's correct. So you see,

- 43:16Speaker 2: great work you're doing. Anybody who volunteers at a day hospital,
- 43:20Speaker 2: who literally puts yourself through what is quite a stressful
- 43:24Speaker 2: environment to help others, that says a lot about you
- 43:27Speaker 2: and your character. So kya, Tanisa from now on, no
- 43:30Speaker 2: more Nissa full name, Okay, thank you, have a beautiful day.

- 43:58Speaker 2: because tomorrow I am doing something. I can tell you
- 44:02Speaker 2: what I'm doing tomorrow that I can't tell you that
- 44:03Speaker 2: I'm going to be at a certain sun Lam Kpe

- 44:35Speaker 2: show flash Drive KFM ninety four point five. Let's do
- 44:38Speaker 2: a lick of vunner last to day my songs we haven't.
- 44:40Speaker 3: Heard in a while. Can we do that together? Please?
- 44:42Speaker 4: Man?
- 44:43Speaker 6: Why not?
- 44:44Speaker 4: Let's do it?
- 44:45Speaker 3: What my city that hucks Day?
- 44:51Speaker 13: Like that?
- 44:51Speaker 4: Huh?
- 44:52Speaker 2: Well, I mean, let's take it back to when our
- 44:54Speaker 2: CD act. Okay, let's take it back to when we
- 44:57Speaker 2: had you know, just there were certain programs I'm not
- 44:59Speaker 2: a liberty to mention on our laptops you know.
- 45:02Speaker 4: Like, let's not bring that up.
- 45:03Speaker 2: So I'm not going to bring up anything like Napster
- 45:06Speaker 2: and using nero to burn onto CD or verbatims. Okay, cool,
- 45:10Speaker 2: we're not going to mention that at all. Right, you
- 45:12Speaker 2: can go all the way back to those days. Yes, okay,
- 45:14Speaker 2: there was a sure And I mean, I know those
- 45:16Speaker 2: days for me were different for you because I was
- 45:19Speaker 2: already ten years old by the time you were born
- 45:22Speaker 2: in nineteen ninety six.
- 45:24Speaker 4: You say this, but you know that I've got a
- 45:26Speaker 4: palette of music because my parents D money.
- 45:30Speaker 3: Yeah, it's D money.
- 45:31Speaker 14: You know you do, I know you do.
- 45:33Speaker 2: So I want to take it all the way back today,
- 45:35Speaker 2: and I'm actually looking for I'm looking for those really
- 45:38Speaker 2: sort of you know, we get our our regular songs
- 45:41Speaker 2: like Technotronic Pump Up the Jam comes through a lot,
- 45:43Speaker 2: anyone I see satisfaction comes through.
- 45:45Speaker 3: A lot as well. But I'm looking for I'm going
- 45:48Speaker 3: to call like exotic Vana. Last tracks.
- 45:52Speaker 2: I was like this one, I would say, Saffred Duo,
- 45:55Speaker 2: this one, I would definitely say, this is one of
- 45:57Speaker 2: the more exotic ones to choose from.
- 46:01Speaker 3: You understand what I mean.
- 46:03Speaker 4: I'm so badly want to contribute to this, but I
- 46:05Speaker 4: know that I've got an arb sense, So I want
- 46:07Speaker 4: to see if you've got this one because it's by
- 46:09Speaker 4: in band that you know that we definitely have on this.
- 46:11Speaker 3: I'm ready for you. Let me see if I have it.
- 46:13Speaker 4: Okay, Faithless we Come One?
- 46:19Speaker 3: Do you know that if we have this, then I
- 46:21Speaker 3: need to play it because that's one of my favorite faces.
- 46:22Speaker 4: That's what I'm saying, ok I just we Come One?
- 46:25Speaker 3: Is it the beginning of the song that gets the
- 46:27Speaker 3: goosebumps going? Is it this song?
- 46:30Speaker 4: Yes?
- 46:35Speaker 3: Do you know it's the very top of WEE Come
- 46:37Speaker 3: One that I enjoy? It's when that you know, when
- 46:43Speaker 3: it builds up. Okay, I have to play that part.
- 46:45Speaker 3: Now we have to play this song?
- 46:47Speaker 12: We do.
- 46:47Speaker 3: We also play a song this one, wait for it,
- 46:53Speaker 3: this spot stop. That's what I'm talking You got it.
- 46:58Speaker 2: The memo received thanks raise put into the HR system
- 47:02Speaker 2: for you perfect we Come One. That's exactly what I'm
- 47:05Speaker 2: talking about, because you know we have our iconic van
- 47:08Speaker 2: a last three.
- 47:09Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 47:09Speaker 2: But now if you go about exotic, we almost go
- 47:12Speaker 2: into the song that was like sort of we knew
- 47:16Speaker 2: what the hit single was, but there was like another track.
- 47:19Speaker 2: That's what I'm saying, you know, and I think those
- 47:20Speaker 2: are the more exotic tracks that I'm looking forward to today.
- 47:23Speaker 2: I know it's a bit of a challenge and maybe
- 47:25Speaker 2: not the most iconic tracks, but I think it'll still
- 47:28Speaker 2: be effective. I mean, we come one spot on because
- 47:30Speaker 2: faith as we know for but I think that we
- 47:34Speaker 2: come one and God. As a DJ, I would say,
- 47:36Speaker 2: those are like, let's call that the pocket of Exotic
- 47:39Speaker 2: van No.
- 47:40Speaker 3: Last Yes, is that cool?
- 47:41Speaker 4: I think that's rad. Yeah.
- 47:43Speaker 2: So for instance, when I say spy Skulls, let's say
- 47:47Speaker 2: the second song that comes to mind as.
- 47:50Speaker 3: Opposed to the first song.
- 47:51Speaker 2: So when I say spy Skulls, what song comes to
- 47:53Speaker 2: mind traditionally want to be but then there's.
- 48:00Speaker 3: Spice up your life? Do you understand what I mean?
- 48:02Speaker 2: So I want you to ignore the song when you
- 48:05Speaker 2: say the artist's name, ignore the first song that comes
- 48:07Speaker 2: to mind. Pick the next one. Chat that is Exotic
- 48:11Speaker 2: vander Lass. Let's go okay, zero two nine four five
- 48:15Speaker 2: zero nine four zero. I'd love to get you on
- 48:20Speaker 2: a voice note, so i'd like your voice.
- 48:22Speaker 1: On this one.
- 48:23Speaker 2: Please send it through Houston. We don't have a problem.
- 48:25Speaker 2: I want to answer somebody too. It just continues the
- 48:28Speaker 2: final last theme there's like yes, God.
- 48:33Speaker 3: All right. Episode two is out for forty before forty.
- 48:35Speaker 3: It is my podcast. My name is Carl Wasty. Nice
- 48:38Speaker 3: to meet you.
- 48:38Speaker 2: This is your flash drive, and I'm going to give
- 48:40Speaker 2: you a couple of bits of the podcast on the
- 48:42Speaker 2: show too, just to make sure that you if you
- 48:44Speaker 2: have some time. I'd love you for your you know,
- 48:47Speaker 2: for your years and for your support on the podcast.
- 48:49Speaker 2: So for two episodes out. So the first one was
- 48:54Speaker 2: May official French, giving me a couple of details and
- 48:56Speaker 2: finances and things to consider ahead of me turning forty
- 48:59Speaker 2: on the forty of June this year. And the second
- 49:02Speaker 2: one is about being a better parent. And there are
- 49:04Speaker 2: certain things that I've noticed that I think could use
- 49:08Speaker 2: some work, not only me as a parent, but I
- 49:10Speaker 2: think in general. And I'm talking about so I'll be
- 49:16Speaker 2: completely honest, and I was in this podcast. The cassidy
- 49:20Speaker 2: is that I had a chat with my dad, and
- 49:23Speaker 2: my dad was you know, he tried to give me
- 49:26Speaker 2: everything of the best then he did actually you know
- 49:28Speaker 2: him and my mom I loved them for that that
- 49:30Speaker 2: The schools I went to, like there were really great schools,
- 49:34Speaker 2: and like, I love Pinehurst Primary School in pine Lands,
- 49:38Speaker 2: even the area speaks to you know, just some sort
- 49:41Speaker 2: of a level. You understand what I mean. Pineland's High School,
- 49:44Speaker 2: you know, that was great and I loved it. It
- 49:46Speaker 2: was really cool. In fact, we even stayed in Pineland's
- 49:48Speaker 2: for a spell before we moved to Thornton. But the
- 49:52Speaker 2: thing about that is what I learned later, you know,
- 49:55Speaker 2: chatting to my pops, is that he felt so much
- 49:57Speaker 2: pressure in having me go to certain schools to have
- 50:01Speaker 2: a certain message that would be sent to other individuals
- 50:05Speaker 2: around me that we have a certain level of living.
- 50:09Speaker 3: Okay, so while it's cool for me.
- 50:11Speaker 2: But remember there were other things that you had to
- 50:13Speaker 2: keep up with sending your child to a school where
- 50:16Speaker 2: there were kids around me who had the means to
- 50:18Speaker 2: afford servie days, camps, extra mural activities, and I didn't
- 50:24Speaker 2: because it was like enough money to send me to
- 50:27Speaker 2: that school. And that's one thing that kind of flared
- 50:30Speaker 2: out for me as the old I got and I
- 50:32Speaker 2: had this and I had a beautiful conversation with Pops
- 50:34Speaker 2: about it, and he was like, you know, I wanted
- 50:35Speaker 2: to give you the best number one that at the
- 50:37Speaker 2: same time, I had this thing inside me that needed
- 50:40Speaker 2: to say that my child goes to a certain school,
- 50:43Speaker 2: my child has a certain thing, because perhaps in my
- 50:46Speaker 2: mind it was like that's a representation on me.
- 50:50Speaker 4: Right, and what's happening? Yeah, okay, and.
- 50:53Speaker 2: That's the type of thing that I discussed with Nicky Bush,
- 50:55Speaker 2: a parenting expert. Here's a snippet forty Before forty, Episode two,
- 51:00Speaker 2: Parental Guidance is Advised.
- 51:04Speaker 6: Forty hacks, eight expert friends, brand new and one brand
- 51:09Speaker 6: new series forty four forty forty Before forty with Carl Waste.
- 51:16Speaker 3: My next forty Before forty guest is Nicky Busch. Now.
- 51:19Speaker 2: She is a renowned creative parenting expert, a speaker, best
- 51:22Speaker 2: selling author, a bestie. She provides practical, human centric solutions
- 51:27Speaker 2: for families and teams navigating a rapidly changing world. We
- 51:30Speaker 2: live in a very strange world in twenty twenty six.
- 51:33Speaker 2: So let's go straight for the jugular, so to speak,
- 51:35Speaker 2: and say, what, in your opinion are parents like me
- 51:38Speaker 2: getting wrong in twenty twenty six.
- 51:40Speaker 12: So one is that we want kids who look good
- 51:42Speaker 12: on paper. We want a great report card because we
- 51:45Speaker 12: think that a report card is going to give them
- 51:46Speaker 12: access to the best tertiary education, which is going to
- 51:49Speaker 12: open all the doors for them. Then there's this accountability
- 51:52Speaker 12: issue where parents want to sweep their children's mistakes under
- 51:56Speaker 12: the rug instead of teaching their children to take ownership
- 52:00Speaker 12: of their failures and their mistakes. And your child cannot
- 52:03Speaker 12: be in on a one hundred percent success trajectory for
- 52:06Speaker 12: their entire lives because that is not how children learn.
- 52:11Speaker 12: Children learn through the apps and the downs. We want
- 52:14Speaker 12: our children to be happy and successful. And then I say, well,
- 52:17Speaker 12: can you make your child? Can you make anybody actually
- 52:20Speaker 12: happy or successful? And the answer is no. You can
- 52:24Speaker 12: only provide the environment in which that person and provide
- 52:28Speaker 12: the support in which that person child or adult. Because
- 52:32Speaker 12: it could be a member of your staff, it could
- 52:34Speaker 12: be your spouse, your partner. You can only provide the
- 52:38Speaker 12: best possible environment and circumstances in which they are going
- 52:43Speaker 12: to create their own version of happiness and success. And
- 52:48Speaker 12: I think that this is really really important, because we
- 52:53Speaker 12: get so caught up in this dream of success that
- 52:55Speaker 12: we actually forget that our ultimate goal of parenting is
- 52:59Speaker 12: to let our children go.
- 53:01Speaker 2: You know, I actually sat my son do once and
- 53:02Speaker 2: it was a very dark conversation, according to him, And
- 53:04Speaker 2: I said to him, do you know what the whole
- 53:06Speaker 2: idea of parenting is here? It's you need to live
- 53:09Speaker 2: without me? And he looked at me and he was like, Dad,
- 53:12Speaker 2: it's so dark. I found that even with my own father,
- 53:14Speaker 2: is that we had a good conversation about how I
- 53:16Speaker 2: grew up, and every choice that he made was around,
- 53:19Speaker 2: in his opinion, keeping me safe and making sure that
- 53:22Speaker 2: I have the best possible circumstances. Okay, that was his
- 53:26Speaker 2: and I know, but I know that a lot of
- 53:28Speaker 2: parts of my life he was keeping up with the Joneses.
- 53:30Speaker 2: I know a lot of part of his life he
- 53:31Speaker 2: was trying his best to keep up with what's around him.
- 53:33Speaker 2: So I wouldn't feel alienated by not having And I'm
- 53:36Speaker 2: going to call it what it is and correct me
- 53:38Speaker 2: if I'm wrong. But is that not parenting with ego?
- 53:41Speaker 2: Like saying, hey, this is me and my child needs
- 53:44Speaker 2: to be a representative what we have. Therefore, I'm going
- 53:47Speaker 2: to show that to the world.
- 53:48Speaker 12: Well, it's party ego to show that you've made it,
- 53:53Speaker 12: and it's party parenting. Through consumer culture, you know, brands
- 53:58Speaker 12: are very important to show you've made so the school
- 54:00Speaker 12: your child goes to, the car you drive, the home
- 54:03Speaker 12: you have, all the address you have, the clothes you buy,
- 54:06Speaker 12: all the clothes your child buys or wares are very
- 54:10Speaker 12: important in order to fit in list enough.
- 54:13Speaker 3: Let's go now, say with me for the bits you missed.
- 54:16Speaker 2: I've always thought about how to make time more meaningful
- 54:20Speaker 2: without it being contrived, and said, let's spend time together sun.
- 54:24Speaker 12: What I say is, we've got to turn the mundane
- 54:26Speaker 12: things in life, the ordinary things in life, into extraordinary
- 54:30Speaker 12: moments of connection.

- 56:29Speaker 3: And I just thought, hey, I'm going to invest What
- 56:31Speaker 3: do you think you're eating? What are we doing tonight?
- 56:40Speaker 3: What do you want to do? So we spoke about
- 56:43Speaker 3: this idea earlier, so I want to give it a try.
- 56:45Speaker 3: And seeing that okay, what do we call this? Since
- 56:48Speaker 3: life soccoll football? Football?
- 56:50Speaker 15: Okay, seeing that football it is on everybody's mind, especially
- 56:53Speaker 15: Arsenal fans. Yeah, theymost won that cup thing for the
