Transcript
- 0:00Speaker 1: Mark Simone, live from the WOR LifeVac studios.
- 0:07Speaker 2: Well, hey, welcome to hour number two. That's right, we
- 0:11Speaker 2: start at nine o'clock now. Now, normally we open with
- 0:13Speaker 2: my big opening 20-minute... Well, we're going to move that
- 0:17Speaker 2: to later in the hour. We don't usually do this.
- 0:19Speaker 2: We wouldn't do this for just anybody, but for the
- 0:21Speaker 2: very funny, brilliant Jimmy Fallon, we'll do it. He can't
- 0:26Speaker 2: do it later in the hour, so we'll do him first.
- 0:28Speaker 2: And then we'll get to the opening second. Make sense? No,
- 0:31Speaker 2: but it's worth it. Jimmy Fallon is on WOR every night,
- 0:35Speaker 2: 9 to midnight. It is a really funny, smart, interesting show.
- 0:39Speaker 2: Then on Saturday nights on the Fox News Channel, he
- 0:42Speaker 2: does the best late night show on television with the
- 0:45Speaker 2: best opening monologue anywhere. And he's with us now. Jimmy Fallon,
- 0:49Speaker 2: how you doing?
- 0:51Speaker 1: I'm good, man. Real story. I'm supposed to be on
- 0:53Speaker 1: America's Newsroom in 40 minutes, which means they want me
- 0:56Speaker 1: to get 30 minutes worth of makeup.
- 0:58Speaker 2: That's why we had to move this. You know this, Mark.
- 1:01Speaker 1: I am standard definition pretty. If you're watching an SD,
- 1:04Speaker 1: I look fine. But if you put me on an HD,
- 1:07Speaker 1: it looks like a carnival attraction. So wish them luck.
- 1:10Speaker 1: And thanks for having me on.
- 1:12Speaker 2: I'm fired up. You know, I never get makeup. Well,
- 1:18Speaker 2: there's always like three or four makeup. you know, people.
- 1:22Speaker 2: So when it comes to me, did you get makeup? Yeah,
- 1:24Speaker 2: she gave it to me.
- 1:25Speaker 1: Oh, okay.
- 1:27Speaker 2: I never get it.
- 1:30Speaker 1: But you get away with it.
- 1:33Speaker 2: Nobody ever noticed. They don't notice. Try it one day
- 1:36Speaker 2: without makeup. Nobody will notice.
- 1:38Speaker 1: Well, what happens to me is, and I should do
- 1:40Speaker 1: that because I get in the chair and And if,
- 1:44Speaker 1: you know, if it's the weekend and I was like
- 1:46Speaker 1: eating salt in my face is a little like they hit,
- 1:49Speaker 1: like they get mad at you.
- 1:50Speaker 2: I'm not kidding.
- 1:50Speaker 1: I get fat shamed. It's like, I go to makeup.
- 1:52Speaker 1: It's like a dominatrix. They just call me names. Like
- 1:55Speaker 1: somebody had spare ribs during the football game. I'm like,
- 1:58Speaker 1: all right, come on. I'm trying over here. I'm a
- 1:59Speaker 1: regular guy.
- 2:00Speaker 2: Yeah. And let's say, well, no, we're not gonna mention
- 2:03Speaker 2: any names here, but let's be honest. A guy like
- 2:05Speaker 2: you or me, we, we go in, we're in a
- 2:07Speaker 2: makeup chair for five, six minutes. Some of these women,
- 2:10Speaker 2: they go in there like an hour and a half before,
- 2:12Speaker 2: and there's like three people working on them, and it's
- 2:14Speaker 2: like brushes and rollers. What the hell are they doing there?
- 2:19Speaker 1: Looks like a NASCAR pit crew. They're changing the fenders.
- 2:22Speaker 1: What's going on? What's that pump for?
- 2:25Speaker 2: What is that about?
- 2:26Speaker 1: I'm confused. Blowing them things up. Yeah.
- 2:30Speaker 2: And then, well, anyway, so I don't even know where
- 2:34Speaker 2: to start. Let's start with Mom Donnie. What the hell
- 2:37Speaker 2: was he trying to do yesterday? vigil for Israel. Then
- 2:41Speaker 2: he's at the Palestinian restaurant. He's trying to play both sides.
- 2:44Speaker 2: You can't get away with that, can you?
- 2:46Speaker 1: No, and that's the most insane part about it, is
- 2:49Speaker 1: everybody who saw that Twitter post thought that would be
- 2:52Speaker 1: like his only shame of the day. Obviously, he acknowledged
- 2:56Speaker 1: Israelis didn't say the word Jew, gave that 49 words,
- 3:01Speaker 1: I believe the rest of the, you know, but, you know,
- 3:03Speaker 1: Israel and America and everything else was like another two pages.
- 3:07Speaker 1: So he gave What's funny, though, is like he didn't
- 3:10Speaker 1: think he had given those dirtbags enough of a shout out.
- 3:13Speaker 1: So he showed up to their rally last night and
- 3:16Speaker 1: found out they weren't happy either, which I thought was
- 3:18Speaker 1: I mean, I thought the whole thing was hilarious, but
- 3:21Speaker 1: so emblematic of what Mom Donnie is. He is a
- 3:24Speaker 1: tick tock influencer who just wants his likes. So you're
- 3:28Speaker 1: going to say the thing about Israel, but you're going
- 3:30Speaker 1: to try to appease the free Palestine nuts. And at
- 3:33Speaker 1: the end of the day, people are starting to see
- 3:34Speaker 1: through it. So I enjoyed it. But I don't know
- 3:37Speaker 1: if this changes his calculus because normally a lot of
- 3:39Speaker 1: things he celebrates, you know, the anniversary of the Boston
- 3:42Speaker 1: Marathon attacks. Is he even going to have that party now?
- 3:45Speaker 2: I don't know. And then he puts out this picture
- 3:49Speaker 2: where he's going to the Palestinian restaurant. What the hell
- 3:52Speaker 2: is a Palestinian restaurant? What are they? come out of
- 3:54Speaker 2: the kitchen and massacre you? What is a Palestinian restaurant?
- 3:59Speaker 2: That's funny.
- 3:59Speaker 1: If you don't like the food, you can throw rocks
- 4:01Speaker 1: at the waitress. I mean, what is going on here?
- 4:05Speaker 1: We're making jokes because this is that ridiculous. I mean,
- 4:08Speaker 1: the whole free Palestine thing. And it's something they never
- 4:11Speaker 1: talk about is who are you actually freeing it from
- 4:14Speaker 1: if we were going to get technical because it's run
- 4:16Speaker 1: by Hamas. So they yell free Palestine like we should
- 4:19Speaker 1: all be mad at the Jews. But the Jews aren't there.
- 4:22Speaker 1: They're next door just hanging out trying to stop the
- 4:24Speaker 1: rockets from flying into town. That's how dumb the whole
- 4:28Speaker 1: thing is. They free Palestine. Hamas wins Palestine. So I
- 4:31Speaker 1: don't even get it, man. Yeah.
- 4:33Speaker 2: So what's going to, Mamdani, it's an amazing, unbelievable, this
- 4:39Speaker 2: would be a hell of a movie. A guy who's
- 4:40Speaker 2: never had a job in his life. He's 12 years old.
- 4:43Speaker 2: He's a TikTok influencer. Suddenly he's the mayor of the
- 4:45Speaker 2: biggest city in the world. It's an incredible story, isn't it?
- 4:49Speaker 1: Yeah, well, yeah. The movie itself is really a good
- 4:53Speaker 1: American tale. I mean, that's what he should be like.
- 4:55Speaker 1: He should like America. You come here, and your first
- 4:58Speaker 1: job is mayor of the biggest city in the country?
- 5:02Speaker 1: I'd say this is a pretty tolerant society.
- 5:05Speaker 2: You know?
- 5:05Speaker 1: I don't ever want to hear a word about Islamophobia again.
- 5:08Speaker 1: It's like you showed up to our town bashing our country,
- 5:12Speaker 1: and we were like, hey, maybe put this guy in charge, okay?
- 5:15Speaker 1: I'd say it's a pretty opportunistic place. Yeah.
- 5:19Speaker 2: Well, Jimmy Fallon's on every night, 9 to midnight, right
- 5:22Speaker 2: here on WOR, 9 to midnight. Hey, the midterms, Democrats
- 5:27Speaker 2: running on affordability. You know, it was Donald Trump that
- 5:30Speaker 2: first campaigned on affordability in 2016. They stole his idea.
- 5:36Speaker 2: But are they the ones to run on affordability?
- 5:39Speaker 1: No, that's like my favorite thing in the world. That's
- 5:42Speaker 1: like Lindsey Clancy saying we need better babysitting. It's like,
- 5:45Speaker 1: come on, I don't know if this is your forte.
- 5:48Speaker 1: And they were the ones who jacked up the prices.
- 5:50Speaker 1: So that drives me crazy because you know this. When
- 5:53Speaker 1: the government spends more money, the cost of everything goes
- 5:57Speaker 1: up in the process. That's what drives inflation. Too many
- 6:00Speaker 1: dollars chasing too few goods. But when they try to go, well,
- 6:03Speaker 1: things are too expensive, so what we're going to do
- 6:05Speaker 1: to give you a break is we're going to tax
- 6:07Speaker 1: the hell out of these companies. They don't actually lower
- 6:10Speaker 1: prices when that happens. They go, oh, we got this
- 6:12Speaker 1: big tax bill. I guess the pack of Twinkies.
- 6:14Speaker 2: Is going up another 49 cents.
- 6:17Speaker 1: And you know this. I know this. But it's crazy
- 6:20Speaker 1: because it's people who failed math and history who but
- 6:23Speaker 1: have figured out how to get likes on TikTok. And
- 6:26Speaker 1: that's essentially what life is now. Most politicians are TikTok
- 6:30Speaker 1: influencers who have a side hustle in Congress. That's what
- 6:32Speaker 1: we're watching.
- 6:33Speaker 2: Wow. Jimmy Fallon, Krista Pike, she survived two lethal injections.
- 6:41Speaker 2: What do you think? I'd say give her like three
- 6:43Speaker 2: sandwiches from the Carnegie Deli. Let's hear her survive that.
- 6:46Speaker 1: You could take her right out. I mean, because here's
- 6:49Speaker 1: the other thing. People are on the fence about this
- 6:51Speaker 1: because they're like, well, she deserved the death penalty, but
- 6:54Speaker 1: she survived the execution. That's his own trauma. So if
- 6:57Speaker 1: you take the guilt and the debate away, what you
- 6:59Speaker 1: do is you give her tickets to The View, she
- 7:02Speaker 1: kills herself, and then nobody has to feel bad. We're all,
- 7:07Speaker 1: our hands are clean here, okay? That's the all-female execution
- 7:10Speaker 1: team we need. You throw that on, she's jumping off
- 7:13Speaker 1: a building, and away we go.
- 7:15Speaker 2: Hey, you know, every Saturday night you do the show.
- 7:18Speaker 2: It's on the Fox News channel. It is the funniest
- 7:22Speaker 2: late night show of all. You do the best monologue
- 7:24Speaker 2: in television. It's like 18 minutes of just funny jokes.
- 7:29Speaker 2: Then I watch Jimmy Kimmel. He does like four minutes
- 7:32Speaker 2: of hate speech. That's supposed to be the monologue. How
- 7:37Speaker 2: does that happen on a network? Doesn't somebody say to him, hey,
- 7:39Speaker 2: try making jokes. Try actually being funny.
- 7:43Speaker 1: The problem is the person who's supposed.
- 7:45Speaker 2: To say that, like the head writer, is his wife.
- 7:48Speaker 1: And his wife, for real, his wife is the head
- 7:51Speaker 1: writer on that show. As crazy as that sounds to people.
- 7:53Speaker 1: And what you're really getting through him is like he's
- 7:57Speaker 1: kind of the messenger for her. Because he wasn't really
- 8:00Speaker 1: a comic to begin with. So he's always had writers
- 8:02Speaker 1: kind of steering him in a direction. But now he
- 8:05Speaker 1: has a head writer. who is one of those women
- 8:08Speaker 1: that would be out there cheering for Hamas, even though
- 8:10Speaker 1: Hamas doesn't recognize her right to exist freely in society.
- 8:14Speaker 1: So it's crazy because there really has, there's never been
- 8:18Speaker 1: a dumber time to be alive. The comedians are now
- 8:21Speaker 1: making more serious statements.
- 8:22Speaker 2: Than the news people.
- 8:24Speaker 1: You know, the news people are trying to pretend Trump
- 8:27Speaker 1: wanted to blow up California.
- 8:29Speaker 2: Okay.
- 8:30Speaker 1: What we should be focused on is the fact that
- 8:32Speaker 1: California looks like somebody already blew it up. That's what
- 8:35Speaker 1: we should be concerned about.
- 8:37Speaker 2: Hey, when they do that, Trump says something outrageous, which,
- 8:41Speaker 2: you know, he's got the Howard Stern side to him.
- 8:43Speaker 2: They try to make it a campaign issue. Nobody cares
- 8:46Speaker 2: anymore that he said something crazy. He always does.
- 8:48Speaker 1: No, it's so baked into the cake at this point.
- 8:53Speaker 1: that Trump is a New Yorker, okay? People talk out
- 8:56Speaker 1: of their butts around here. We exaggerate. We pick little fights.
- 9:00Speaker 1: You know, we have, you know, our little fits that
- 9:02Speaker 1: we throw from time to time. But the point is
- 9:05Speaker 1: that he's just a human being, and most people have
- 9:08Speaker 1: seen him now for 10 years. So you can't surprise them.
- 9:11Speaker 1: This would be like running a campaign commercial that Liberace
- 9:14Speaker 1: dresses loud. We know that. The rhinestones are just part
- 9:19Speaker 1: of the deal now. And that's their biggest problem is
- 9:23Speaker 1: they're running on a lot of things the rest of
- 9:25Speaker 1: us are used to. But that's why the socialists have
- 9:28Speaker 1: traction because the socialists aren't out there pretending Trump is Hitler.
- 9:32Speaker 1: The socialists are out there saying we should just kill
- 9:35Speaker 1: the Jews ourselves. It's crazy. But that's a lot of
- 9:38Speaker 1: the whole DSA movement. And they were chanting last night,
- 9:42Speaker 1: globalize the intifada. Guys, I mean, that is not, you know,
- 9:47Speaker 1: that's the goal here. And that's the part I have
- 9:49Speaker 1: a problem with. I'm a free speech absolutist. But it's
- 9:51Speaker 1: hard to walk down the streets in our city hearing
- 9:54Speaker 1: people chant, we've got to kill everyone who doesn't agree
- 9:57Speaker 1: with us and feel like we're doing a good thing
- 9:59Speaker 1: by letting them all. in you know yeah.
- 10:01Speaker 2: Well hey jimmy phil i know i gotta let you
- 10:03Speaker 2: go because you gotta i got a show to do
- 10:05Speaker 2: uh tonight nine to midnight every weeknight listen to him
- 10:08Speaker 2: nine to midnight it's a really great show on wor
- 10:12Speaker 2: and make sure you watch his saturday night show On
- 10:14Speaker 2: the Fox News Channel, 10 o'clock. You're taping it tomorrow night,
- 10:18Speaker 2: and people can come see it?
- 10:19Speaker 1: Yeah, we tape Friday nights. Tomorrow night, Chris Hansen from
- 10:22Speaker 1: Dateline is on. Oh. So, I know. He's got Robert
- 10:26Speaker 1: Pattinson playing him in a movie. That's a big deal.
- 10:29Speaker 1: But he's going to be in studio. If you guys
- 10:32Speaker 1: want to come meet Chris Hansen and any of the
- 10:33Speaker 1: Fox people, the tickets are always free at foxacrossamerica.com.
- 10:38Speaker 2: It's a good hang. Yeah, Friday evening, and bring somebody.
- 10:40Speaker 2: It's free. It's a great date. FoxAcrossAmerica.com. You can get
- 10:46Speaker 2: the tickets there and listen to Jimmy Fallon tonight. Well,
- 10:50Speaker 2: thanks for today, and we'll talk to you at the
- 10:52Speaker 2: normal time next week.
- 10:54Speaker 1: Yeah, and if they bump me from TV because, like,
- 10:56Speaker 1: Trump gives a weird speech, I'll disguise my voice and
- 10:59Speaker 1: call in as a caller.
- 11:00Speaker 2: See you in a little bit.
- 11:01Speaker 1: Thanks, man.
- 11:02Speaker 2: All right, take care. Thanks. The great Jimmy Fallon. So, yeah,
- 11:07Speaker 2: normally we do a big, long opening. We'll do that
- 11:09Speaker 2: later in the hour. But speaking of President Trump, hey,
- 11:12Speaker 2: big announcement yesterday. Actually, a big ceremony. This is a
- 11:16Speaker 2: great thing he's come up with. You won't see it
- 11:18Speaker 2: anywhere in the news because it's too positive. They will
- 11:22Speaker 2: make sure not to mention this. But they set up
- 11:24Speaker 2: those Trump accounts. And it's every kid that's born gets
- 11:28Speaker 2: an account. And the government will put $ 1, 000 into the account.
- 11:33Speaker 2: And then it goes into a fund, like an investment
- 11:37Speaker 2: fund that's very, very safe. They'll invest in the S &
- 11:40Speaker 2: P 500, the safest and best investments. So you start
- 11:45Speaker 2: when you're born with $ 1, 000. And by the time you're
- 11:48Speaker 2: ready to go to college, it'll have grown to like
- 11:50Speaker 2: $ 100, 000 and it'll pay for college. It's a great idea.
- 11:55Speaker 2: And a lot of the corporations are donating to it
- 11:58Speaker 2: and giving money to it. And big, big congratulations to
- 12:02Speaker 2: a real hero. And this is Michael Dell and his wife, Susan.
- 12:07Speaker 2: They're going to give $ 250 into the accounts for 25
- 12:12Speaker 2: million kids. It's going to cost them about $ 3 billion,
- 12:15Speaker 2: but they're going to do this. And as they say,
- 12:17Speaker 2: some of the biggest companies in America are giving hundreds
- 12:20Speaker 2: of millions. This week, they got 70 million kids signed
- 12:28Speaker 2: up for this. You got to have a social security number.
- 12:31Speaker 2: You got to be under 18. But when you're born,
- 12:34Speaker 2: they'll put you into this program. So far, they've put
- 12:37Speaker 2: about almost $ 5 billion into these accounts. $ 5 billion. So
- 12:42Speaker 2: the president had a big ceremony yesterday. Any child born
- 12:46Speaker 2: during Trump's second term will receive a $ 1, 000 contribution. And again,
- 12:50Speaker 2: by the time you're in college, it'll grow to about $ 100, 000.
- 12:54Speaker 2: It'll pay for your education or if you want to
- 12:56Speaker 2: start a business or whatever. President Trump yesterday. I urge
- 13:00Speaker 2: all parents to download the official Trump account app.
- 13:04Speaker 1: Claim their children's account or begin managing and contributing to
- 13:08Speaker 1: it today.
- 13:09Speaker 2: It's really amazing. Yeah, it's a great thing. And Mrs. Dell,
- 13:13Speaker 2: Susan Dell, said for every child across America, these accounts
- 13:16Speaker 2: are for you. We believe in you. We want you
- 13:19Speaker 2: to dream big. We know you can make your dreams
- 13:22Speaker 2: come true. It's a great thing. So everybody should take advantage. Now,
- 13:27Speaker 2: a parent or guardian must claim the account in order
- 13:30Speaker 2: to manage it. Manage it, allow others to contribute to it,
- 13:34Speaker 2: and for children to receive all of this. A parent
- 13:37Speaker 2: has to be involved in this. Hey, when you send
- 13:40Speaker 2: your kid to college, you say, what, a tuition? Why
- 13:44Speaker 2: is it so much for this tuition? These colleges, somebody
- 13:49Speaker 2: really needs to look into them. Exactly what the costs are,
- 13:53Speaker 2: exactly why they're charging so much money. Take Yale University,
- 13:58Speaker 2: maybe one of our finest universities, Yale University. They just
- 14:03Speaker 2: spent $ 30 million at Yale. Now, you're saying, oh, they
- 14:07Speaker 2: must have put in the state-of-the-art computers and... No. They
- 14:12Speaker 2: spent $ 30 million renovating the golf course. Now, golf doesn't
- 14:22Speaker 2: take 10 minutes. You play golf, it's three hours. aren't
- 14:28Speaker 2: you supposed to be studying or going to class or
- 14:30Speaker 2: doing something? You're not supposed to be on the golf
- 14:31Speaker 2: course for three hours. And how much does it cost
- 14:35Speaker 2: to renovate the golf course? Hire a couple of landscapers,
- 14:38Speaker 2: let them mow the grass or something, fix the sand trap.
- 14:44Speaker 2: 30 million on renovating the golf course? That's why your
- 14:49Speaker 2: tuition is so much. 30 million. Now, when your kid
- 14:53Speaker 2: calls you from school, how is it? Oh my God,
- 14:55Speaker 2: it's so tough. The study? No, the fourth hole. They
- 15:00Speaker 2: made the fourth hole longer and they narrowed the fairway.
- 15:03Speaker 2: I mean, $ 30 million on the golf. This is not
- 15:05Speaker 2: to build a golf course. It's just to renovate the
- 15:07Speaker 2: golf course. Absolutely ridiculous. So we'll get back to Crazy
- 15:11Speaker 2: Mom Donnie. We'll get to AI. Is it really going
- 15:15Speaker 2: to kill everybody? We'll get to Iran and a whole
- 15:19Speaker 2: lot more coming up. We'll take some calls too. 800-321-0710
- 15:21Speaker 2: is the number.
- 15:21Speaker 1: 800-321-0710.
- 15:27Speaker 2: Also, we'll get to these people in Congress. You won't
- 15:32Speaker 2: believe how they're actually robbing you now. We'll get to
- 15:34Speaker 2: this coming up. Mark Simone here on 710WOR.
