- 0:00Speaker 1: This is the almost famous podcast with our radio Welcome back.
- 0:06Speaker 1: We are Interested Center, and we are the almost famous
- 0:11Speaker 1: o G because old Gal and old Guy, really really
- 0:17Speaker 1: old guy. That'd be the r O G Crew. It's
- 0:22Speaker 1: so sad, but I'm feeling I'm feeling every every inch
- 0:26Speaker 1: of my age today, trist I think it's important to
- 0:29Speaker 1: point out that we love doing this so much that
- 0:32Speaker 1: we will move heaven and earth to get it done.
- 0:34Speaker 1: And last night I flew home very late, uh three
- 0:39Speaker 1: thirty in the morning, landed at home five. The baby
- 0:44Speaker 1: started crying about four o'clock. The three year old came
- 0:46Speaker 1: in the room. So I've just been pulling a bender.
- 0:48Speaker 1: This is my seventeenth cup of coffee right here. At
- 0:52Speaker 1: least you drink coffee. I don't even drink it. But
- 0:55Speaker 1: you know what, We're going to get her done, right,
- 0:57Speaker 1: we are. We are going to get her done. I
- 1:01Speaker 1: like that you're giving me a little cars reference with
- 1:04Speaker 1: what's that guy's name? What is the dude's name that
- 1:06Speaker 1: says I can't even think, well, no, that's made her
- 1:10Speaker 1: that says it. But I'm trying to think of the
- 1:11Speaker 1: actual comedian Larry the Cable, That's who it is. And
- 1:15Speaker 1: he later that's Disneyland last month, which I gotta tell you,
- 1:20Speaker 1: it was a totally different experience going there with kids.
- 1:21Speaker 1: I've always gone there just for the cocktails and the
- 1:23Speaker 1: corn dogs. I've been I've been to Land and World
- 1:28Speaker 1: I think five or six times when the kids were
- 1:30Speaker 1: a little And oh yeah, we've met made Her, we've
- 1:33Speaker 1: met Lightning, We've met all the characters and all that.
- 1:36Speaker 1: I like them. They're pretty cool. How they got it done. Well.
- 1:39Speaker 1: I'm excited about today's show because you know we are
- 1:43Speaker 1: we are the o g s, So we are taking
- 1:45Speaker 1: it back a little bit. And uh, you know what
- 1:47Speaker 1: I really love is where it all started for you
- 1:49Speaker 1: and I as friends, obviously was on your season of
- 1:51Speaker 1: The Bachelorette, which if anyone wants to check us out
- 1:54Speaker 1: from our last episode, we talked a lot about how
- 1:57Speaker 1: that process came to light for both of us. But
- 2:00Speaker 1: today is a really special show because it's not just
- 2:02Speaker 1: about us. They were actually gonna check in on a
- 2:04Speaker 1: couple other O g s who were with us on
- 2:07Speaker 1: that show. Um, both of which I think we're very
- 2:12Speaker 1: um memorable guys from that time and from that season.
- 2:17Speaker 1: And uh, one of them in particular. I've always really
- 2:19Speaker 1: liked both of these guys, but one of them in
- 2:20Speaker 1: particular I've kept in pretty good touch with over the years.
- 2:22Speaker 1: So we're gonna have them both on in a little bit. So,
- 2:25Speaker 1: but I wanted to kind of get into it really
- 2:26Speaker 1: quickly with you, Trista, because I know how I felt,
- 2:30Speaker 1: but I wonder how you felt. I mean, it's the
- 2:32Speaker 1: first night you're the back thorette. I'm sure you know
- 2:34Speaker 1: you already have seen some of the press about you know,
- 2:37Speaker 1: what does this say about her as a person and
- 2:39Speaker 1: about women in general? Like it was that big of
- 2:41Speaker 1: a you know, of a commentary at the time. I mean,
- 2:44Speaker 1: were you just a nervous wreck? Uh? That night? Like
- 2:47Speaker 1: walking out? You know it was Carrie Fetting your stylist
- 2:49Speaker 1: that you have. You feel like we had a stylist
- 2:53Speaker 1: when I was a bachelor. I still looked like an idiot.
- 2:55Speaker 1: So you look stunning. I mean it was amazing you
- 2:59Speaker 1: come walking out, So I mean you had to be
- 3:01Speaker 1: feeling a lot of nerves. I certainly was, and watching back,
- 3:06Speaker 1: I have to say I was cringing pretty much the
- 3:09Speaker 1: entire show that I was watching back because I feel
- 3:13Speaker 1: like I was so nervous, and I was trying to
- 3:16Speaker 1: say all the right things and do you know what
- 3:19Speaker 1: I mean, like I had already been put on um
- 3:24Speaker 1: notice with the entire media. Everyone's watching me, everyone is
- 3:31Speaker 1: judging me, and and I had this thing in my mind,
- 3:37Speaker 1: you really need to be conscious about what you're saying,
- 3:42Speaker 1: what you're doing, you know, all of those things. I mean, gosh,
- 3:46Speaker 1: the first all the guys come in and this season,
- 3:49Speaker 1: you know, it's o g because no one has a gimmick,
- 3:52Speaker 1: you know, every with the exception to Russ who brought
- 3:55Speaker 1: the Tiffany box, um, so that I know you had
- 3:58Speaker 1: a problem with, ye I know. So with the exception
- 4:04Speaker 1: of the Tiffany box, Uh, there was there were no gimmicks.
- 4:08Speaker 1: There was just guys getting out of the limo, introducing
- 4:11Speaker 1: themselves and and all we said. They literally would either
- 4:16Speaker 1: shake a hand or give a hug, and then we
- 4:19Speaker 1: said we'll see you inside, you know, or looking good.
- 4:22Speaker 1: How many freaking times did I say looking good? Looking?
- 4:25Speaker 1: Good boys? Yeah? I know? Did you did you have
- 4:28Speaker 1: Chris Harrison in your ear at all? Was he guiding
- 4:30Speaker 1: you at all? Like? You know, okay, you know here
- 4:32Speaker 1: I mean I would see him come on camera. But
- 4:34Speaker 1: I know when I was the Bachelor, I actually really
- 4:37Speaker 1: appreciated him because he would go, all right, you did
- 4:39Speaker 1: a great job. Now this time, you know, you can
- 4:41Speaker 1: you can talk a little more with each person. Take
- 4:43Speaker 1: your time, you know, Because that first one, I'm like, hey,
- 4:45Speaker 1: great to meet you too. We'll see inside. That's it.
- 4:48Speaker 1: That's it, that's all I said. I was like, wow,
- 4:50Speaker 1: I'm a really good conversation list. Um. But anyway, yeah,
- 4:55Speaker 1: Chris of course was there. You know, we had developed
- 4:58Speaker 1: a friendship on the Bachelor. And and then of course
- 5:01Speaker 1: the producers, they were there every step of the way
- 5:04Speaker 1: with me for me. And of course they're producing a
- 5:06Speaker 1: television show. And I got that. I still get it.
- 5:09Speaker 1: I still get that that is their job. They want
- 5:11Speaker 1: to produce a show. They have to feed their family
- 5:15Speaker 1: and you know, pay for college or whatever. So they
- 5:19Speaker 1: wanted to be successful and and so I got that,
- 5:23Speaker 1: but I also really appreciated that that they were in
- 5:26Speaker 1: it with me. They were they were my friend. They
- 5:28Speaker 1: actually wanted, I believe to this day, for me to
- 5:32Speaker 1: meet someone and develop a long term, lifetime relationship built
- 5:38Speaker 1: on a great foundation, you know, and good job. So
- 5:44Speaker 1: I was going to ask you if watching it back
- 5:46Speaker 1: when I remember watching that season. Um, you know, and
- 5:50Speaker 1: none of my friends back then, we didn't talk about
- 5:52Speaker 1: it at all, as you know, right, we were kind
- 5:54Speaker 1: of scoring a secrecy, so none of my friends even
- 5:56Speaker 1: knew I was going to be gone on the show
- 5:59Speaker 1: until of a sudden they're in my living room watching
- 6:02Speaker 1: it and they're all like, oh my god. Really I
- 6:06Speaker 1: kept it really quiet, so it was a big surprise.
- 6:09Speaker 1: How about you, I mean with your family. Obviously your
- 6:11Speaker 1: your immediate family knew, but where did your phone just
- 6:13Speaker 1: blow up after that first night? Do you know what? Actually,
- 6:17Speaker 1: everyone pretty much knew because since I had been on
- 6:20Speaker 1: The Bachelor, Um, they knew that I had been on
- 6:24Speaker 1: that show. And then for the Bachelor, I had to
- 6:26Speaker 1: ask my boss for a leave of absence in my
- 6:28Speaker 1: own and at Miami Children's Hospital. And when I got
- 6:33Speaker 1: the call about doing the Bachelorette, and you know, the
- 6:36Speaker 1: process was moving along and I had to make a
- 6:39Speaker 1: decision about whether or not to be in California. I
- 6:42Speaker 1: asked her for another leave of absence, and of course
- 6:44Speaker 1: she said no, because no, sorry, Uh, You've got to
- 6:48Speaker 1: make your decision. Yeah, So I decided to go out
- 6:52Speaker 1: to California, and of course because of that, you know,
- 6:55Speaker 1: my friends knew I was moving out for the possibility
- 6:58Speaker 1: of doing the show, and uh yeah, it wasn't a secret.
- 7:02Speaker 1: And obviously it wasn't a secret because the whole all
- 7:05Speaker 1: of the media was covering it, saying, you know, a girl,
- 7:09Speaker 1: you know, the tables have been turned a girl. I'm like, really,
- 7:14Speaker 1: a girl, Like is that really big news? But I
- 7:16Speaker 1: guess back then it was. And uh, you know they
- 7:20Speaker 1: were calling me out for potentially looking like a Hussie.
- 7:24Speaker 1: Uh you know, I just yeah, that was that was hard,
- 7:29Speaker 1: that Harlott. Uh that was hard, um going into it
- 7:33Speaker 1: because I was stressed about how I was going to
- 7:36Speaker 1: be portrayed to the people that I looked up to
- 7:38Speaker 1: in my life, you know, in my real life. So yeah,
- 7:42Speaker 1: it was hard, but it was worth it. It It definitely
- 7:44Speaker 1: was worth it. I mean, look how it ended up, right,
- 7:45Speaker 1: I Mean that was I was bunkmates essentially with a
- 7:49Speaker 1: couple of with one of the guys that's going to
- 7:51Speaker 1: be on tonight and all today, and also of course
- 7:54Speaker 1: your husband Ryan. We were like, literally our beds are
- 7:57Speaker 1: right next to each other. You know, people would die
- 8:00Speaker 1: if they saw that mansion that we started the season,
- 8:03Speaker 1: and now the Bachelor mansion is much different. But the
- 8:05Speaker 1: had that then It looked great on camera. I will
- 8:08Speaker 1: say that kind of. I mean, looking back at it,
- 8:11Speaker 1: I'm like, really, was I that excited about that? I
- 8:15Speaker 1: walk in, I'm like, whoa twelve single beds jammed into
- 8:19Speaker 1: one room? How beautiful the floor? They were on the floor.
- 8:25Speaker 1: They weren't even in bed frames. They were on the
- 8:28Speaker 1: bed frames we had. I actually think I actually think
- 8:31Speaker 1: I had a bed frame now that now that I
- 8:33Speaker 1: think about it, I didn't really. Not everyone did. I
- 8:36Speaker 1: was one of the lucky ones, and um, you know,
- 8:39Speaker 1: and I will tell you the dynamic in the house
- 8:41Speaker 1: was so interesting on the first day from the guy's perspective.
- 8:44Speaker 1: And we can touch on this in a little bit
- 8:45Speaker 1: when our first guest come on. But I remember walking
- 8:47Speaker 1: in and I don't know why. I don't know why,
- 8:50Speaker 1: but all of a sudden, they come over to me
- 8:52Speaker 1: and they're like, hey, how are you So? I'm great, thanks,
- 8:55Speaker 1: how are you? They're like great? How do you love
- 8:57Speaker 1: the mansion? I'm like, oh, it's it's awesome. They go, so,
- 9:00Speaker 1: what do you think everyone's gonna want to eat? And
- 9:02Speaker 1: drink today, Like I'm like the chef or something so like,
- 9:07Speaker 1: and I just I just jumped right in. I'm like,
- 9:09Speaker 1: what are our options do we have? You know, is there?
- 9:12Speaker 1: Do we have carte blanche? Can we go for it?
- 9:14Speaker 1: But I remember that day. I'm like, I saw a
- 9:15Speaker 1: grill out there as it working. They're like, yeah, I'm like,
- 9:18Speaker 1: maybe we'll do some skirt steak and some chicken. Maybe
- 9:20Speaker 1: we'll mix up some stuff for some tacos heat as
- 9:23Speaker 1: it were, And uh what about Marina machine? Can we
- 9:26Speaker 1: do one of those? And I remember just so anyway,
- 9:28Speaker 1: I remember this specifically because I've told this story a
- 9:31Speaker 1: few times too, but I remember they asked for drinks.
- 9:34Speaker 1: So I decided, you know, if I was having a
- 9:35Speaker 1: party at my house, uh, first of all, my kitchen
- 9:39Speaker 1: would be nicer than this one. But what would I do?
- 9:42Speaker 1: And so I literally I was like, how about a
- 9:43Speaker 1: couple half gallons of you know, Gray Goose, a couple
- 9:46Speaker 1: half gaons of you know, Jack Daniels, Maybe some mixers,
- 9:51Speaker 1: lemons and limes oranges, a bottle of tequila would be nice.
- 9:55Speaker 1: So literally that was like ten am. You know, um,
- 9:58Speaker 1: at about ten six am incomes cases of alcohol, just
- 10:03Speaker 1: like cardboard boxes. The food, I don't know if we
- 10:07Speaker 1: ever got it. I was going to say he had
- 10:09Speaker 1: dog food, and why did we have dog? We didn't
- 10:13Speaker 1: have a dog because there was a dog. Yes, there was.
- 10:16Speaker 1: Don't you remember the dog that lived there? Oh yeah,
- 10:18Speaker 1: so the owners remember this house. But the owners left
- 10:24Speaker 1: their dog for whatever reason. I don't know if they
- 10:26Speaker 1: were in and out like they were. They were there, okay,
- 10:29Speaker 1: so they were there and not there. So so they
- 10:33Speaker 1: had this dog and they kind of thank god they
- 10:35Speaker 1: had the dog because Ryan actually he went running with
- 10:38Speaker 1: the dog like he loves dogs, and they can be
- 10:42Speaker 1: remember you say that I forgot I forgot about. Yeah,
- 10:46Speaker 1: we did have a dog there, and that's unfortunately our
- 10:48Speaker 1: friend Jennie Blythe can't join us today. But his claim
- 10:51Speaker 1: to fame other than incredibly white teeth and china out
- 10:54Speaker 1: with you on the first date was eating dog food hammered.
- 11:00Speaker 1: And they'll see that after you watched the first episode
- 11:02Speaker 1: if you keep watching, Oh yeah, dog food, dog puppy chow.
- 11:06Speaker 1: What do you guys call it? Actually we called it
- 11:09Speaker 1: pony chow, right because I kept telling him he had
- 11:13Speaker 1: the teeth of like a you know, a stallion. I'm like,
- 11:16Speaker 1: you got like this big horse teeth. But it was
- 11:20Speaker 1: said lovingly, right of course he laughed, he laughed, he
- 11:25Speaker 1: loved it. But um, but yeah, I mean I remember
- 11:27Speaker 1: that they brought the alcohol right away, and then the
- 11:30Speaker 1: food showed up, you know, two days later, and by
- 11:32Speaker 1: that point we had we had already consumed all the
- 11:35Speaker 1: lemons and limes, so we were stuffed. We didn't need
- 11:40Speaker 1: been consumed. Yeah, oh no, that was it was. It
- 11:46Speaker 1: was really fun. It was fun to watch and reminisced,
- 11:49Speaker 1: especially of the first, you know time I met Ryan,
- 11:53Speaker 1: and I've seen that whenever you go on a show
- 11:56Speaker 1: g M A or Today's Show or that you know,
- 12:00Speaker 1: any of the shows. Um, that's the clip they use
- 12:04Speaker 1: is Ryan walking up. And he'll never live down the
- 12:09Speaker 1: fact that he when he got out of the limo,
- 12:11Speaker 1: he said, you look ravishing, ravishing it's his word. Um.
- 12:16Speaker 1: But he's forgot his name. He forgot to tell me
- 12:18Speaker 1: his name. So I was like, hey, so what's your name.
- 12:22Speaker 1: He's like, what's nice? Nameless? Oh what? Um? Anyway, remember,
- 12:31Speaker 1: for anyone who wasn't with us last week, which you
- 12:33Speaker 1: should have been, how were you? But we know that
- 12:36Speaker 1: you weren't here, So I'll just tell you this. One
- 12:38Speaker 1: of the things I loved about you know, that time
- 12:41Speaker 1: of the show was that we were all basically monosyllabic.
- 12:46Speaker 1: Uh we were. We were one trick ponies, right, So
- 12:49Speaker 1: here I was. We already had a musician, so that
- 12:51Speaker 1: that couldn't be me. So I was mortgage guy and
- 12:54Speaker 1: Ryan was fired fighting. And when I look back at it,
- 12:58Speaker 1: I remember thinking, you know, God, like they ask you
- 13:02Speaker 1: so many questions about yourself, and this is where we land.
- 13:04Speaker 1: Land a mortgage guy. You got to know Ryan Sutter,
- 13:07Speaker 1: and you land a firefighter, like I get it that
- 13:09Speaker 1: that's his job. A poet. Yeah, yeah, now now it's poet. Yeah,
- 13:14Speaker 1: for sure. That's where I would have gone right away,
- 13:16Speaker 1: because I do remember one night I remember specifically, and
- 13:19Speaker 1: I'm not sure if you remember this or not, but
- 13:21Speaker 1: you were out I date with some guys and or
- 13:26Speaker 1: a guy I don't really recall exactly. I think it
- 13:28Speaker 1: may have been a guy, because I remember Ryan was
- 13:30Speaker 1: at the mansion with me, and I decided, uh, you know, well, uh,
- 13:35Speaker 1: let's play the Century Club. Which Century Club is a
- 13:38Speaker 1: hundred shots of beer in a hundred minutes, which sounds
- 13:40Speaker 1: like nothing. Right, it's a little shot glass of beer.
- 13:43Speaker 1: It doesn't sound like nothing to me. Yeah, well, you know,
- 13:45Speaker 1: and I'm not a beer guy, so it sounds like
- 13:47Speaker 1: a lot to me too. And anyway, we we start
- 13:51Speaker 1: playing this game, and I remember all the guys were
- 13:53Speaker 1: having a great time, and it was you're definitely out
- 13:55Speaker 1: with one person because the majority of the guys were
- 13:57Speaker 1: back of the house. And at the end of each round,
- 14:00Speaker 1: we'd throw the beer can on the roof of the
- 14:03Speaker 1: mansion and um, yeah, well, I mean it was just,
- 14:07Speaker 1: you know, the roof was kind of low by the pool,
- 14:09Speaker 1: and so uh about you know, I don't I didn't
- 14:13Speaker 1: know you were on your way home. But of course
- 14:14Speaker 1: the producers know everything, so they're like, Bob, you guys
- 14:17Speaker 1: threw a bunch of beer cans up there on the roof.
- 14:18Speaker 1: You should probably get up there and and get that
- 14:20Speaker 1: off of them. I'm like, oh, yeah, so I climb
- 14:24Speaker 1: a ladder. Where where did the ladder come from? I
- 14:26Speaker 1: have no idea. I climb a ladder, I get on
- 14:28Speaker 1: the roof and I start sweeping off the beer cans,
- 14:32Speaker 1: and um, we're gonna take a really quick break because
- 14:34Speaker 1: when we returned. I want to tell the story of
- 14:35Speaker 1: when you walk back into the mansion and you see
- 14:40Speaker 1: the mayhem that is ensued, and yes, and I'm sitting
- 14:44Speaker 1: there with U with an apron on which I don't
- 14:48Speaker 1: know why I had an apron on my board, shorts
- 14:51Speaker 1: and apron and a broom when you walk in, and
- 14:53Speaker 1: I'm like, and uh, we're gonna get into it when
- 14:58Speaker 1: you when we come back from break, because we're go
- 15:00Speaker 1: have our first guest on who can speak to that night. Um,
- 15:03Speaker 1: probably a little bit better than me, and I think
- 15:04Speaker 1: it'll be very fun for you to hear that vantage point.
- 15:06Speaker 1: So we're gonna take a real quick break when we
- 15:09Speaker 1: come back. You love more of almost Famous the O
- 15:12Speaker 1: g S. Welcome back, everybody. Uh, Hi, Brooke, how are you?
- 15:28Speaker 1: How are you? Well? You know what, We're really excited
- 15:31Speaker 1: to see you. It's been a really long time. And
- 15:33Speaker 1: Bob was just telling us a story about Century Club
- 15:37Speaker 1: and the mayhem that went down in the house and
- 15:40Speaker 1: how I walked in, and he stopped the story then
- 15:43Speaker 1: so that you guys could both pick up and share
- 15:46Speaker 1: your vantage point of what happened that day. So we
- 15:50Speaker 1: called Brooke text back in the day on the show,
- 15:52Speaker 1: because of course he was, you know, a rancher, rancher
- 15:55Speaker 1: from Texas and just the sweetest, nicest guy. And Brooke
- 16:00Speaker 1: don't know if you remember this or not, but I was.
- 16:01Speaker 1: I was recounting the night we moved into the mansion.
- 16:04Speaker 1: The next day or two later, and Trista was on
- 16:06Speaker 1: a date. I know it was a one on one
- 16:08Speaker 1: day because it was most of us back at the house,
- 16:10Speaker 1: and uh, we were like, let's play the Century Club.
- 16:12Speaker 1: Hundred shots of beer in a hundred minutes, right, So
- 16:15Speaker 1: we're pouring beer and shot glasses. We'll all do it.
- 16:18Speaker 1: And every time and we wanted like Natty light or
- 16:20Speaker 1: something really good, and every time, you know that we'd
- 16:24Speaker 1: be done with that, we'd be done with the beer can.
- 16:25Speaker 1: We tossed it on the roof. Yes, I said, that's
- 16:27Speaker 1: a night, Jamie blythe Ate the Pony Child. A lot
- 16:30Speaker 1: of things went down that a lot of things went
- 16:32Speaker 1: down that night. And when Trista comes back from her date,
- 16:36Speaker 1: I had just climbed off the roof from sweeping all
- 16:39Speaker 1: the cans off the roof. I'm in board shorts and
- 16:42Speaker 1: an apron and I'm like and she comes in and
- 16:45Speaker 1: I'm like, hey, you know, I think and there's nothing
- 16:48Speaker 1: wrong with this picture whatsoever. Do you remember that night?
- 16:51Speaker 1: Do you remember partying it up? Absolutely? Because I think
- 16:54Speaker 1: that one of the guys, Brian Sanders, said him him,
- 16:58Speaker 1: and I don't know why, but words like this, we
- 17:01Speaker 1: don't want people to fall, so let's fill some some
- 17:05Speaker 1: lawn chairs or something like that, or some furniture up
- 17:07Speaker 1: there as well, just to keep everything from people getting
- 17:10Speaker 1: hurt on the on the ground. Yeah, so I don't Yeah,
- 17:14Speaker 1: that was I have uh memory loss on that night. Yeah,
- 17:24Speaker 1: you know, there might be some issues, some some moments
- 17:27Speaker 1: I might be getting wrong myself. But that was also because,
- 17:30Speaker 1: as as you may remember, Broth, we would order food,
- 17:33Speaker 1: uh you know, for the whole day at like ten am,
- 17:34Speaker 1: and and then they'd say, well, you guys need some
- 17:36Speaker 1: more cottails. Yeah, we need a couple of half gallons
- 17:38Speaker 1: of this, a few cases of that. And I was
- 17:40Speaker 1: telling Trista that that stuff, the half gallons of this
- 17:43Speaker 1: in the cases of that would would arrive within five minutes.
- 17:47Speaker 1: That was the last part about the whole thing. Yes,
- 17:52Speaker 1: if you wanted, like you remember back when you your
- 17:55Speaker 1: favorite drink at the time was I think Blue Goose.
- 17:59Speaker 1: Great it still is to this day. Yeah, And you're like,
- 18:03Speaker 1: I'd like the bottle of Greg Goose. And then you
- 18:05Speaker 1: can hear someone going, okay, we're gonna get it, and
- 18:08Speaker 1: all of a sudden, like five minutes later, we had
- 18:10Speaker 1: Greg Goose. I was like, okay, they had it back,
- 18:13Speaker 1: ready to go, just saying anything. This is and yes
- 18:18Speaker 1: you're here, it is brooken. This is your Okay, thank you? Okay,
- 18:21Speaker 1: should I have some caviar and champagne? Yeah? You want
- 18:28Speaker 1: t bone steaks or rib eyes or something like that.
- 18:30Speaker 1: We're like, can we They're like, yeah, okay, how many
- 18:33Speaker 1: boys wanted? And everybody, of course raise your hands up
- 18:35Speaker 1: and we're like, yeah, something steaks there. Yeah, it was
- 18:40Speaker 1: a steak dinner to beat the band. I remember that,
- 18:42Speaker 1: all right. So I want to get back to the beginning.
- 18:45Speaker 1: So um, let's stop talking about food and drinks. I'm
- 18:48Speaker 1: really getting and thirsty. Uh No. So the first night,
- 18:52Speaker 1: of course, we meet and you introduce yourself as a
- 18:57Speaker 1: rodeo cowboy. We can clear really see if everyone could
- 19:01Speaker 1: see right now that rodeo cowboys probably not what you're
- 19:05Speaker 1: doing anymore. It looks like you're in hospital can you
- 19:11Speaker 1: tell everyone these days? After we did After we did
- 19:14Speaker 1: the show and everything stopped, you know, going on. I
- 19:19Speaker 1: met a young lady and I was as an empty
- 19:23Speaker 1: in the in the e er and she was a
- 19:25Speaker 1: nurse and sometimes you it takes a good woman to
- 19:29Speaker 1: get your head out of your rectum, as what we
- 19:31Speaker 1: say down here. And he's like, you can't be a
- 19:34Speaker 1: tech forever. And I was like, okay, I said, I'll
- 19:37Speaker 1: be a fireman like and because Ryan had told me
- 19:39Speaker 1: how great it was, it's like, I'll do the fireman thing.
- 19:42Speaker 1: So then the age, of course catches up with you.
- 19:44Speaker 1: And then I thought, well, while I'm trying to be
- 19:47Speaker 1: a fireman, I can take classes. And so I became
- 19:49Speaker 1: a registered nurse, got my bachelor's and I work. Uh,
- 19:56Speaker 1: I just I didn't. I stopped doing it being an
- 19:58Speaker 1: er nurse. I've been doing that for probably eight years now,
- 20:01Speaker 1: but I stopped doing that for a little bit because
- 20:04Speaker 1: it's you know, with COVID and all that you're seeing,
- 20:07Speaker 1: you know, a hundred fifty people a day, and so
- 20:11Speaker 1: I just took a break. I do the hospital caused
- 20:14Speaker 1: me to get hard. I vs for people who need
- 20:17Speaker 1: like long term I nerobotics or stuff like that. I do.
- 20:21Speaker 1: It's called a vascular access team, which we just do
- 20:25Speaker 1: picks and ivys and all that. And I just got
- 20:28Speaker 1: finished with doing one and then my coworkers about to
- 20:31Speaker 1: go do another one. So she said, I got this,
- 20:35Speaker 1: you can do your little show. Well, thank you to
- 20:37Speaker 1: your coworker. Yeah, no kidding, and congratulations, I mean and
- 20:41Speaker 1: and thank you. Right you were on the front line
- 20:43Speaker 1: to this whole COVID thing. That could not have been easy.
- 20:45Speaker 1: And I'm sure, I'm sure it was rough. It's been
- 20:47Speaker 1: pretty ugly. I've gotten it twice. And it don't matter
- 20:51Speaker 1: if you have ppe on wash your hands every day.
- 20:56Speaker 1: It's just out there. You've got people who don't wear
- 20:58Speaker 1: masks and then they cough and you get it and air.
- 21:00Speaker 1: It's just luckily, thank you, thank the Lord above, that
- 21:03Speaker 1: my symptoms weren't as bad as some of the people
- 21:06Speaker 1: that I deal with on a regular basis. Um Right now,
- 21:10Speaker 1: our census is down in our hospital as far as
- 21:13Speaker 1: people with COVID, and which is a great thing. I
- 21:15Speaker 1: do know that there's another, supposedly another round coming in
- 21:19Speaker 1: the outskirts of Texas have being hit right now, but
- 21:22Speaker 1: that DFW where I live at. It's not that bad
- 21:25Speaker 1: right now, but they say the symptoms are sort of mild.
- 21:28Speaker 1: I guess I'm not going to get into all that
- 21:30Speaker 1: kind of stuff. But um, but like I said, my
- 21:33Speaker 1: symptoms weren't that bad. My wife got it because you know,
- 21:36Speaker 1: I cannot stop kissing your wife and so might as
- 21:40Speaker 1: well share it, all right? Can we go back, um
- 21:45Speaker 1: to the first night? So I think actually it might
- 21:49Speaker 1: have been after that. So I've always this has been
- 21:53Speaker 1: brought up in interviews. I don't know since we ended
- 21:57Speaker 1: the show almost twenty years ago, and I want to
- 22:00Speaker 1: know your take on how you felt about what you
- 22:05Speaker 1: called me that day. I think the shallow and the
- 22:10Speaker 1: course when you have alcohol year system and like my
- 22:13Speaker 1: friend Bob down here, I get done with that interview
- 22:17Speaker 1: or and with that little situation between you and I
- 22:19Speaker 1: and he, of course he's just pouring it on gasoline.
- 22:22Speaker 1: And I'm like, yeah, this is what I said to her.
- 22:25Speaker 1: Hear me roar, I'm like what shallow? Shallow? Why shallow? Yeah?
- 22:31Speaker 1: I was. I was like, why is she shallow because
- 22:34Speaker 1: she has an allergy? I don't understand that part. And
- 22:36Speaker 1: I honestly to this day do not know why. I
- 22:39Speaker 1: don't know why I was so mad or how even
- 22:43Speaker 1: they go, you know how they you know how they snug. Yeah,
- 22:48Speaker 1: you know they were walking by, you know, they're the
- 22:50Speaker 1: waitress or the waiter, and then they they hear, yeah
- 22:54Speaker 1: Brooks said something, send him over there. And then you're right,
- 22:57Speaker 1: You're right, and then you're going, okay, I'll go talked
- 23:00Speaker 1: to her. And then I don't know how it got
- 23:02Speaker 1: on the subject, but somehow you said you're allergic to horses,
- 23:05Speaker 1: and I was like, you're going to get rid of
- 23:07Speaker 1: me from what? And I at the time, I was
- 23:11Speaker 1: the villain of the show or the bad guy at
- 23:14Speaker 1: that time. And yeah, I've seen multiple shows us I
- 23:17Speaker 1: don't think so. I've seen clips of other shows, and
- 23:20Speaker 1: these guys are wory, worse than I am. Well, I
- 23:23Speaker 1: never thought you were a villain at all. Actually not
- 23:26Speaker 1: at all. Like, I'm sorry, but I'm not shallow. Like
- 23:31Speaker 1: if you're gonna call me shallow for for getting rid
- 23:34Speaker 1: of you because you have a goatee or like short
- 23:37Speaker 1: hair or something, maybe I'm shallow. But I was like,
- 23:40Speaker 1: but I'm allergic to horses, and that's what you do,
- 23:44Speaker 1: that's your life. Like I couldn't be around you, but
- 23:49Speaker 1: there was. So I was watching a commercial because I
- 23:52Speaker 1: was so excited about being on the show and meeting
- 23:54Speaker 1: everybody and meeting the course, you and Bob and everybody,
- 23:57Speaker 1: and there I think that you were at some on
- 24:00Speaker 1: a premiere or something like that or some kind of
- 24:02Speaker 1: whatever you were doing, and it was like ET or
- 24:05Speaker 1: some one of those shows, and they were talking to you,
- 24:07Speaker 1: and in the background, I think there's a Claudsdale or
- 24:10Speaker 1: some kind of horse, and I'm like, she lied to me,
- 24:13Speaker 1: because no, no, okay, so I did not lie. Um.
- 24:20Speaker 1: But what I will say is that if I take
- 24:23Speaker 1: medicine like a ben a drill, then it's fine, or
- 24:27Speaker 1: if I wash my hands immediately. But like being I
- 24:31Speaker 1: can go to a rodeo, but I couldn't be around
- 24:34Speaker 1: a rodeo cowboy because I would literally be one big hive.
- 24:38Speaker 1: So anyway, yeah, I think you know, we've covered it.
- 24:41Speaker 1: It's all good. We know him that I wasn't shallow
- 24:43Speaker 1: for that at least and done, and maybe the liquor
- 24:48Speaker 1: courage got out of me. I was like, yeah, all good,
- 24:52Speaker 1: all good. We ended up we both ended up very happy.
- 24:55Speaker 1: If I had a Nickel for everything I said on
- 24:57Speaker 1: the two shows I was on that was dumb. I'd
- 25:00Speaker 1: be a really wealthy guy, You've got nothing to feel
- 25:04Speaker 1: bad about. And I was consistently foot in the mouth.
- 25:07Speaker 1: I was that guy, not at all. And and I
- 25:10Speaker 1: think the moral of this story is that we both
- 25:13Speaker 1: ended up with the people that we were supposed to,
- 25:16Speaker 1: and it's a happy idea. Anything that ever happened, I'm
- 25:20Speaker 1: glad I got to do the show because I mean, honestly,
- 25:23Speaker 1: there's I mean, yeah, there's several people now, but back
- 25:25Speaker 1: in the day we were we were the originals, and
- 25:28Speaker 1: so it was baby o g to be a part
- 25:31Speaker 1: of something that. You know, even to this day, someone
- 25:34Speaker 1: will say something and they'll say you were on what
- 25:37Speaker 1: And I was like, yeah, twenty years ago, I don't
- 25:39Speaker 1: look like that. He used to have this beautiful foeing
- 25:41Speaker 1: main and now I've got the male pattern baldness and
- 25:46Speaker 1: feel myself. But I'll tell you what, I think you
- 25:51Speaker 1: look good, buddy, and I'm so proud of you and
- 25:53Speaker 1: everything that you've accomplished. I mean, I'm so glad that
- 25:55Speaker 1: we were on this show together and became buddies and
- 25:58Speaker 1: has stated touches as not as great lately since I've
- 26:01Speaker 1: had kids, I've been terrible. But you know, for a
- 26:03Speaker 1: while there we were all in pretty good touch with
- 26:05Speaker 1: one of them. We gotta do that some more. It
- 26:07Speaker 1: was fun talking to you and seeing how but it's
- 26:09Speaker 1: awesome to see now the families that have produced out
- 26:12Speaker 1: of this, like you got to and then Bob, you
- 26:15Speaker 1: just recently had one several months ago, right, yeah, our second.
- 26:18Speaker 1: We had our second in July. Yeah, so yeah, he's
- 26:22Speaker 1: almost a year. So we'll congrats, buddy. Thanks for joining
- 26:24Speaker 1: us on the show. You are definitely not the villain.
- 26:29Speaker 1: Brooke Pemberton a k A text to me, all right,
- 26:36Speaker 1: take care, alright, So good seeing you man. Alright, I
- 26:50Speaker 1: gotta love that guy, and I love that he's like,
- 26:54Speaker 1: you know, first of all, isn't it funny though he
- 26:56Speaker 1: saw himself as a villain and I never saw him
- 26:58Speaker 1: as a VI. It's just they picked up on that
- 27:02Speaker 1: comment and like ran with it, and that's because that's
- 27:05Speaker 1: all they had. They didn't have any other drama. We
- 27:08Speaker 1: had no drama, I mean other than us all you know,
- 27:10Speaker 1: wanting to fight Rus, I mean, you know, and poor
- 27:14Speaker 1: Russ all rust. It was be thoughtful and show up
- 27:17Speaker 1: with a present. You know, so many of us from
- 27:20Speaker 1: that show, and I think this is actually a testament
- 27:23Speaker 1: to you. So many of us from that show left
- 27:26Speaker 1: as as really good friends. And you know, of course,
- 27:30Speaker 1: you know Brooks, one of those guys that we stayed
- 27:31Speaker 1: in touch with, I stayed in touch with over the years.
- 27:33Speaker 1: But another one who I actually uh have had a
- 27:36Speaker 1: lot of personal contact with is going to join us
- 27:38Speaker 1: on the show next. Now, this man was also a firefighter.
- 27:42Speaker 1: I'm gonna see if you can guess Triester. Now, I
- 27:44Speaker 1: know you get the show rundown, so it's not gonna
- 27:45Speaker 1: be that hard. He was also a firefighter, Cleveland born
- 27:50Speaker 1: and bred, and he may or may not have been
- 27:52Speaker 1: a guy that we uh collectively carried out and laid
- 27:56Speaker 1: his bed in the sprinklers one night. It might have
- 27:58Speaker 1: even been on Century Club night that a lot of
- 28:00Speaker 1: stuff went on. I think it was. And yeah, we'll
- 28:03Speaker 1: talk about it in a minute. Um, so why don't
- 28:06Speaker 1: we let let's let jack in Jack You got it right,
- 28:10Speaker 1: it's my buddy Jackie French from Cleveland. Right. I don't
- 28:15Speaker 1: have a great memory, but I have some kind of memory.
- 28:17Speaker 1: I mean, I could I could not forget Jack, especially
- 28:20Speaker 1: things that we just said, like, you know, right before
- 28:22Speaker 1: the show started, we're gonna be bringing a Jackie French.
- 28:25Speaker 1: So there's that, right, there's that as well. So yeah,
- 28:27Speaker 1: let's welcome to the show. Another guy from Trista season
- 28:30Speaker 1: who made a big impact with people, Jack French. He's
- 28:34Speaker 1: from Cleveland, Ohio, firefighter dad, awesome, you know, just an
- 28:38Speaker 1: awesome guy. So I think he's going to be joining
- 28:41Speaker 1: this yere any second. And you know, I felt a
- 28:45Speaker 1: little guilt about being one of the guys who helped
- 28:48Speaker 1: carry his little bed out there. We do not feel
- 28:53Speaker 1: any guilt for that. I don't, I don't, but I
- 28:57Speaker 1: want to say that I didn't because Jack is I mean,
- 29:01Speaker 1: people might not remember. Oh here we go, Jackie, Jackie, Jackie.
- 29:11Speaker 1: I am great. Is this the first time you and
- 29:12Speaker 1: Trista have talked since our since our season? So no,
- 29:17Speaker 1: we well actually yeah, I mean we talked, you know
- 29:21Speaker 1: after we were you know, did the media stuff. But
- 29:24Speaker 1: you know that was that was the season. Somebody, isn't
- 29:28Speaker 1: that something how it's been so long. It's good to
- 29:31Speaker 1: see your face, good to see you as well. So
- 29:35Speaker 1: Jack happens to have a very, very talented family. His
- 29:39Speaker 1: son is an incredible football player, and I was trying
- 29:43Speaker 1: desperately to get Jack to bring his son to my
- 29:46Speaker 1: alma mater, of course, Machine State University UM. And so
- 29:50Speaker 1: Jack and I were trying to hatch a plan to
- 29:51Speaker 1: make it work. But you know, great Dad, obviously on
- 29:55Speaker 1: the show, you were a firefighter. We just talked to
- 29:57Speaker 1: Brooke Pemberton a minutego, remember remember tax Oh yeah, cowboy
- 30:01Speaker 1: Cowboy Brook. That's right, Cowboy Brook. Yeah, he went from
- 30:05Speaker 1: Cowboy Brook to uh he's he's a registered nurse now
- 30:09Speaker 1: on the front lines of covid RN. Cowboy Cowboys. There
- 30:14Speaker 1: you go, an cowboy friend. He always always cowboy to me.
- 30:19Speaker 1: That's right. What's what are some of your like? First
- 30:23Speaker 1: night you get out of Limo, it's a crazy experience, right,
- 30:26Speaker 1: you walk up, you meet Tristo. What's the first thing
- 30:28Speaker 1: that's going through your mind? Do you remember? Of course?
- 30:31Speaker 1: I mean, you know I was looking at it. That's
- 30:34Speaker 1: about That's what I'm sure you were the only one
- 30:40Speaker 1: there were twenty five was doing. That's actually actually I'm
- 30:44Speaker 1: sorry there were twenty four of us doing that, because
- 30:46Speaker 1: it just as said that one guy got out of
- 30:48Speaker 1: the limo and looked at the camera first by bye ceiling.
- 30:53Speaker 1: He went home early. Were we in the same limo, Jackie?
- 30:58Speaker 1: We were? We were in the person. You know, I
- 31:02Speaker 1: don't remember a bunch of it was a blur. Yeah,
- 31:07Speaker 1: I know, I know. Do you look any good questions
- 31:11Speaker 1: for our buddy Jackie? Yeah, okay, So I want to
- 31:14Speaker 1: get into well, first I want to get into that
- 31:16Speaker 1: night of Century Club and what happened. So there was
- 31:19Speaker 1: this big storyline we went on. It was the three
- 31:22Speaker 1: of us and and Ryan and Jamie and who Jeff Popovich? Maybe, Um,
- 31:31Speaker 1: we're on the what was it not Rancho? Um? What's
- 31:36Speaker 1: that hotel Laquinta? That we went to Laquinta on the
- 31:39Speaker 1: on the date the next day? Right, we were all
- 31:43Speaker 1: on that and we were in a big r V
- 31:45Speaker 1: that ended up breaking down, changed the tire. So yeah, yeah,
- 31:52Speaker 1: so okay, we're all sitting on the RV laughing, and
- 31:55Speaker 1: I remember you guys telling me the story of Jack
- 31:59Speaker 1: being picked up. So Jack passed out because you guys
- 32:02Speaker 1: had Century Club and we're you know, indulging, went to bed,
- 32:06Speaker 1: He went to bed early, went to bed early. Yeah, responsibly, Yeah, responsibly,
- 32:17Speaker 1: that's right, that's right. So he was laying on one
- 32:20Speaker 1: of the mattresses that was on the floor, no bed frame,
- 32:24Speaker 1: and so all of you guys explained to me that
- 32:27Speaker 1: you thought it'd be funny to pick him up on
- 32:29Speaker 1: his from his mattress and put him outside. And then
- 32:32Speaker 1: the sprinklers went off and Jack proceeded to wake up,
- 32:36Speaker 1: and then he needed to relieve himself. So I think,
- 32:41Speaker 1: I think relieving himself. I don't remember, you don't. I
- 32:46Speaker 1: don't recall Jack Jack. It's one of those oldest tricks
- 32:50Speaker 1: in the book, like like when when one of your
- 32:51Speaker 1: friends goes to sleep early and you set their hand
- 32:54Speaker 1: in a little dish of water, you know. So we
- 32:58Speaker 1: we wanted to make sure that Jack didn't miss our
- 33:00Speaker 1: only pick up time. He had early called time the
- 33:01Speaker 1: next morning. We didn't have alarm clocks, so we thought, well,
- 33:05Speaker 1: the spinklers go off, that will probably wake Jack up
- 33:07Speaker 1: and then we won't feel so bad. We just didn't
- 33:09Speaker 1: know the spinkler's going to go off at four in
- 33:10Speaker 1: the morning, which is what was Jack was up and
- 33:14Speaker 1: ready for the day. But Jack, Jack was a quick
- 33:16Speaker 1: recovery man. We were on that. We were out that
- 33:18Speaker 1: next day I mean he was ready to go, and
- 33:20Speaker 1: just you know, I would not. Maybe I would have
- 33:23Speaker 1: been okay back then, but now i'd be I'd be
- 33:25Speaker 1: in a bad place. Yeah. Right. So so I know
- 33:30Speaker 1: that you guys told me about the this, and I
- 33:33Speaker 1: feel like it came up in interviews afterwards that like
- 33:36Speaker 1: either I was portrayed as judgmental or as like shocked,
- 33:42Speaker 1: and I was like, actually, I think because like Bob
- 33:46Speaker 1: and I were talking about this beforehand going into the bachelorette,
- 33:49Speaker 1: you know, there was a lot of media hype around it,
- 33:51Speaker 1: and people were very critical of me being the first
- 33:55Speaker 1: you know, bachelorette and the first one to turn the tables,
- 33:58Speaker 1: and so I was on my best behavior with kind
- 34:01Speaker 1: of see saying everything in as PC a way as
- 34:05Speaker 1: I could, with still trying to be myself, right, so
- 34:09Speaker 1: still still trying to be authentic, but trying to be
- 34:12Speaker 1: PC and caring in a way. And I would if
- 34:16Speaker 1: that had happened in real life without any cameras around,
- 34:19Speaker 1: I would have freaking been dying laughing. And I think
- 34:22Speaker 1: I was dying laughing. But I feel like because it
- 34:27Speaker 1: was like there was no drama, like we just talked
- 34:29Speaker 1: about too there was no drama on the show, so
- 34:32Speaker 1: like the only thing they could bring in as drama was,
- 34:35Speaker 1: oh my gosh, Trista is so um. She is so
- 34:40Speaker 1: beside herself with what happened with Jack, like the same
- 34:44Speaker 1: thing with Greg and his apartment, like going into the
- 34:46Speaker 1: small But we could talk about that. I would have
- 34:52Speaker 1: been like, you know what, I got a call and
- 34:54Speaker 1: I would have been back on the eight train back
- 34:56Speaker 1: to wherever it was that you were going because apartment. Okay,
- 35:00Speaker 1: So I want to know how you felt like were
- 35:03Speaker 1: you were, How did you feel in the moment and
- 35:06Speaker 1: then afterwards when people were asking you about it. Did
- 35:10Speaker 1: you feel like I was judgmental? Did you feel like
- 35:13Speaker 1: that like got in the way of our relationship in
- 35:16Speaker 1: any way or did you just think it was fun
- 35:19Speaker 1: like I did. I don't know. I would love to
- 35:21Speaker 1: hear your side, you know. I mean the whole experience
- 35:24Speaker 1: was so you know, it's so new for everybody. Yeah,
- 35:29Speaker 1: it's just it was just an occurrence, you know, It's
- 35:34Speaker 1: just what it was. I mean, we were having a
- 35:36Speaker 1: good time. I mean, yeah, it's what it was. It happened,
- 35:40Speaker 1: and No, I did not feel like you were judging. Now, Okay,
- 35:43Speaker 1: good good, because I feel like that personal like a
- 35:47Speaker 1: counseling session here, and I like Dr Phil Believe me,
- 35:51Speaker 1: I'm usually on the other side of this, so I'm
- 35:53Speaker 1: usually the one sitting there going Now I can say
- 35:56Speaker 1: just how did that make you feel? How do they
- 35:58Speaker 1: make you feel? When Jack just said that, he you know,
- 36:01Speaker 1: I'm using this podcast as a way to air andy grievances.
- 36:07Speaker 1: Been all right, exercise the demons. Yes, there was no
- 36:13Speaker 1: twenty there was now no not with Jack French. Yeah,
- 36:18Speaker 1: truly one of the greatest guys out there. Jack, thank

- 36:32Speaker 1: and and okay, what's wait before we go? What's your
- 36:34Speaker 1: son's name so we can watch out for him? His
- 36:37Speaker 1: name is Jackson. Oh, I love you. He's listening, and
- 36:41Speaker 1: he's listening right now. I'm sure he's gonna laugh about
- 36:46Speaker 1: it when I get off whenef right. Oh yeah, for sure,
- 36:48Speaker 1: he's gonna pull up the YouTube or the to be

- 37:13Speaker 1: This was really fun. I loved being able to go
- 37:15Speaker 1: back in time and relive the first night of the
- 37:18Speaker 1: bachelorette with you and Brooke and Jack and lots of others.
- 37:23Speaker 1: And next week we had to relive your first night.
- 37:27Speaker 1: Are you so excited? I'm terrified, absolutely terrified. Yeah. I
- 37:33Speaker 1: think yours was really fun because it wasn't about me
- 37:36Speaker 1: so much. I think this was a much more fun
- 37:41Speaker 1: week for me. Next week, I'm going to be stressed
- 37:43Speaker 1: out pins and needle style, but there is no reason
- 37:47Speaker 1: for his dress to be married. You're one wrinkle on
- 37:53Speaker 1: my season. And I don't know if you remember this
- 37:55Speaker 1: or not, but one rinkle on my season that was
- 37:58Speaker 1: really awkward. I'm just gonna say it. The twins. I
- 38:02Speaker 1: had twins on my season. I was the first season
- 38:04Speaker 1: they brought out twins. I do not remember this, yes,
- 38:07Speaker 1: and I remember going, what is going on? Oh my gosh,
- 38:12Speaker 1: I can't wait to watch it. I don't remember this.
- 38:15Speaker 1: I watched every single episode of every single show Um, okay,
- 38:22Speaker 1: I'm so excited to go watch to remind myself what happened.
- 38:25Speaker 1: I mean, obviously I remember the key players, but um,
- 38:29Speaker 1: but yeah, this will be fun to go back and watch.
- 38:32Speaker 1: I'm excited. I know you're nervous. I know it's really
- 38:35Speaker 1: awkward to talk about, like you, dating other people when
- 38:38Speaker 1: you're married. Um, I know, but you know what, it's
- 38:42Speaker 1: all in fun. We're gonna have fun. Do not worry
- 38:45Speaker 1: about it. Just bring your personality and it will all
- 38:48Speaker 1: be okay. You know. Actually, my wife is so funny
- 38:52Speaker 1: about this stuff. She loves to talk about it, and
- 38:54Speaker 1: she really loves it because I'll always go, well, just
- 38:56Speaker 1: think of it this way. I mean, you were waiting
- 38:58Speaker 1: for me, right because I was only right, that's right, Jess,
- 39:02Speaker 1: because because you would have gone to prison if you
- 39:04Speaker 1: were trying to date me at that time. The good point?
- 39:06Speaker 1: Good point? Do you say? My love? All right? Well,
- 39:09Speaker 1: thank you guys for joining us. We are the O
