Transcript
- 0:14Speaker 1: Hey y'all, I'm coming to you from my hotel room
- 0:16Speaker 1: in New York City. Today's guest is Mary Ryan Brown,
- 0:20Speaker 1: who is a hilarious comedian you guys need to all
- 0:22Speaker 1: be following. She had to cancel due to a sick child,
- 0:26Speaker 1: and we've all been there and we understand, so I'm
- 0:28Speaker 1: going to get her on here in the next month
- 0:30Speaker 1: or two, so don't worry, she's still coming. But This
- 0:33Speaker 1: episode would normally be in your feed on Friday, but
- 0:38Speaker 1: this is the 90 day hunt for love season two,
- 0:40Speaker 1: episode one, um, episode that I recorded with Kimberly. Now,
- 0:44Speaker 1: normally the secondary 90 day show, which in this case
- 0:48Speaker 1: is hunt for love. Last time it was last resort
- 0:50Speaker 1: that always goes on the Friday prime feed. That's $ 5
- 0:53Speaker 1: a month. That's always there. But when it's a first
- 0:56Speaker 1: episode of something that's on Prime, we put it here
- 1:00Speaker 1: on the free feed for you. So this is going
- 1:02Speaker 1: to take the place of the Pop and Bravo episode.
- 1:05Speaker 1: So this is 90 Day Hunt for Love Season 2,
- 1:08Speaker 1: Episode 1. And this is just the recap. If you
- 1:11Speaker 1: want more like chatter and stuff like that, that's what
- 1:14Speaker 1: we do over there. So like 20 minutes are cut out,
- 1:17Speaker 1: which is just chatter. This is just the recap. And
- 1:20Speaker 1: I hope this makes sense. And if it doesn't, just
- 1:22Speaker 1: send me a DM. And if you're in New York City,
- 1:24Speaker 1: Don't forget, LibraFest is this weekend. It is Saturday night.

- 1:36Speaker 1: looking to give a ticket, exchange a ticket. There are
- 1:39Speaker 1: some tickets available. So, enjoy this episode. This is 90
- 1:43Speaker 1: Day Hunt for Love, Season 2, Episode 1, with my girl, Kimberly.
- 1:48Speaker 2: Thanks. Let's talk about this show. Yeah. It is.
- 1:52Speaker 1: 90 Day Fiancé, Hunt for Love, season two, episode one.
- 1:57Speaker 2: Yeah. Uno.
- 1:58Speaker 1: Now, you and I split the notes as we do.
- 2:02Speaker 1: I've watched this twice. The first time I watched it,
- 2:04Speaker 1: I was so effing confused. I was like, who gave
- 2:07Speaker 1: a necklace? Who took the necklace?
- 2:09Speaker 2: Who?
- 2:10Speaker 1: But then when I watched it the second time on
- 2:11Speaker 1: the train, when I felt the guy next to me
- 2:13Speaker 1: was judging me for watching it, I.
- 2:16Speaker 3: He was. I got it.
- 2:17Speaker 2: I got it.
- 2:18Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 2:18Speaker 3: I'm judging us for watching it.
- 2:21Speaker 1: And I asked Nicole, I was like, are there, my
- 2:23Speaker 1: TLC girl, I go, are there pictures of these people?
- 2:25Speaker 2: Because I'm going to get confused.
- 2:27Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 2:28Speaker 2: She's like, you should be able to find it on
- 2:29Speaker 2: the website. But did I go and look? No.
- 2:33Speaker 3: No, I didn't.
- 2:33Speaker 2: You know what?
- 2:34Speaker 3: I don't even care enough. This show is so stupid.
- 2:38Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 2:39Speaker 3: I hate this show.
- 2:40Speaker 4: And my bar is low because I really like the
- 2:43Speaker 4: 90 Day franchise.
- 2:45Speaker 3: But this show is the bottom of the barrel.
- 2:48Speaker 1: I don't like newbies. I don't like new people.
- 2:50Speaker 3: I don't want new people.
- 2:52Speaker 4: I don't want fake storylines, which half the storylines are fake,
- 2:56Speaker 4: but at least pretend they're not. It's people trying to
- 3:00Speaker 4: hook up because they think it'll get more storyline, more time,
- 3:04Speaker 4: screen time.
- 3:05Speaker 3: What's the phrase I'm trying to look for? Yeah, it's dumb.
- 3:10Speaker 3: And I don't know why they picked certain people to
- 3:13Speaker 3: be on. Certain people are perfect for it. Chloe, yes.
- 3:17Speaker 2: Perfect. Yeah.
- 3:18Speaker 3: Perfect.
- 3:21Speaker 1: If Razvan was not a bad person, which we're going
- 3:24Speaker 1: to find out later.
- 3:25Speaker 3: He's actually being entertaining.
- 3:27Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 3:27Speaker 3: He's being fine. There's just so, I don't understand.
- 3:33Speaker 4: And it's weird because so many of the people now
- 3:36Speaker 4: on this season seem to know that they are being
- 3:38Speaker 4: part of the 90 Day franchise. which last season it
- 3:41Speaker 4: was kind of weird because they didn't. And they showed
- 3:44Speaker 4: up at a resort for a singles mixer. And they
- 3:46Speaker 4: realized that a lot of the people knew each other
- 3:48Speaker 4: and to be on a show together.
- 3:51Speaker 3: And they didn't know.
- 3:51Speaker 4: What was happening, but they quickly realized we, and they
- 3:55Speaker 4: all had a group chat without the 90 day people.
- 3:57Speaker 4: And they discussed, we should hook up with the 90
- 4:00Speaker 4: day people to get screen time. But we're meanwhile making
- 4:02Speaker 4: fun of the 90 day people.
- 4:04Speaker 3: In their group.
- 4:05Speaker 4: Yes.
- 4:06Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 4:06Speaker 1: When Iris says to Michael that, Well, your first wife
- 4:11Speaker 1: was old.
- 4:11Speaker 2: I was like, okay, so she knows everything.
- 4:14Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 4:15Speaker 3: Okay.
- 4:16Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 4:17Speaker 4: So then I'll never go to any of these people
- 4:19Speaker 4: see Michael's soul and love Michael for Michael.
- 4:23Speaker 3: Or are they there?
- 4:25Speaker 4: Because he's definitely will be unhappily ever after whoever he
- 4:29Speaker 4: chooses to be with.
- 4:30Speaker 2: Right.
- 4:31Speaker 4: Because 90 day will definitely want his redemptive arc, not
- 4:36Speaker 4: even redemptive. He didn't do anything really wrong. except scamming Angela,
- 4:40Speaker 4: but that was fine. They want to, what's a victim
- 4:44Speaker 4: of possibly domestic violence gets a story where they become
- 4:48Speaker 4: the hero, you know, that sort of story. That's what
- 4:52Speaker 4: we want to see from Michael.
- 4:54Speaker 3: We do.
- 4:54Speaker 2: Will we get it?
- 4:56Speaker 3: We, if he.
- 4:56Speaker 4: Finds love and someone dates him, I think it would
- 5:00Speaker 4: be unhappily.
- 5:02Speaker 2: You're right. You're right. Or single life, single life.
- 5:06Speaker 4: Sure.
- 5:07Speaker 2: Yeah. So many shows. So we start off with a
- 5:10Speaker 2: lot of quick clips.
- 5:11Speaker 1: And mostly what I noticed from these is Emma saying,
- 5:14Speaker 1: I'm going to this island and I'm leaving with the
- 5:16Speaker 1: man I'm going to marry. She said the same thing
- 5:19Speaker 1: about wherever she went before.
- 5:22Speaker 2: Zied.
- 5:24Speaker 3: Zied. And the first guy was Mohammed?
- 5:29Speaker 2: Maybe. Zied, thank you.
- 5:31Speaker 1: Because I wrote down Yazvan. I was like, that's not right.
- 5:35Speaker 1: And then I see lots of drama is going to happen.
- 5:39Speaker 1: We do know Razvan and another dude from Texas named Landon,
- 5:42Speaker 1: the guy with the hat, also asked to leave. We
- 5:45Speaker 1: know that these things are true. So keep an eye
- 5:49Speaker 1: on them. Jamal seems to be the star.
- 5:54Speaker 2: I don't know why.
- 5:55Speaker 1: But he tells us he's a reformed fuckboy. And he
- 5:59Speaker 1: tries to fix the women that he dates. And all
- 6:02Speaker 1: he can hope for at this retreat is that Veronica, Usman, Colt,
- 6:09Speaker 1: or his mom don't show up.
- 6:11Speaker 2: What does he got against Colt?
- 6:13Speaker 4: Colt got into it at the last reunion that Kim, Bali,
- 6:20Speaker 4: and Colt hated each other.
- 6:21Speaker 3: Well, Kim hated Colt.
- 6:23Speaker 4: And so they started yelling and almost got into a fight.
- 6:27Speaker 4: I think Jamal might have stood up.
- 6:29Speaker 2: Okay, good. Yeah.
- 6:31Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 6:31Speaker 1: What are you going to do with your bum leg?
- 6:35Speaker 1: So Kara talks with a local in Spanish. Never forget,
- 6:38Speaker 1: she speaks Spanish. And she says, I'm single, single, and
- 6:41Speaker 1: I'm looking for love. We get a recap of her
- 6:44Speaker 1: love story with Guillermo. She says she has a son
- 6:47Speaker 1: who's three and a half. So when she looks for somebody,
- 6:50Speaker 1: she's got to see somebody that could be dad material. Um,
- 6:54Speaker 1: she says she likes a guy who is well-groomed and
- 6:57Speaker 1: smells good, but she wants to keep an open mind
- 7:00Speaker 1: and not just go with physical attraction. But if somebody
- 7:03Speaker 1: has an accent, you know, that's a problem for her.
- 7:07Speaker 4: Um, which episode is she going to bring up the
- 7:10Speaker 4: only fans and find out if they're okay with it?
- 7:13Speaker 3: Is that like a second date conversation?
- 7:19Speaker 2: Not later. Later. Okay.
- 7:22Speaker 4: Okay.
- 7:22Speaker 2: And all these people are going to be okay with it.
- 7:24Speaker 3: Oh, yeah. If they don't already know. Yeah.
- 7:27Speaker 2: Again, if they haven't already seen the goods. So we
- 7:31Speaker 2: see Razvan. He's 29 from Romania.
- 7:33Speaker 1: He's very buff. He's more buff than last time we
- 7:35Speaker 1: saw him. And he says people misjudge him based on
- 7:39Speaker 1: his looks, but.
- 7:40Speaker 2: He's still that scared, skinny little.
- 7:42Speaker 1: Kid who was a nerd. We see his love story
- 7:45Speaker 1: with Amanda, if you guys don't remember. Amanda, her husband
- 7:50Speaker 1: had just died. They carried him around in a box,
- 7:52Speaker 1: and she had two kids. She was not nice to
- 7:55Speaker 1: Razvan at all.
- 7:57Speaker 2: She hated him.
- 7:59Speaker 3: She was not nice to her children.
- 8:00Speaker 4: She left them for weeks to go on a bank
- 8:03Speaker 4: trip and left her children, who were still grieving their
- 8:06Speaker 4: dead father, and carrying his remains around in a box
- 8:10Speaker 4: and talking to the box. Mm-hmm.
- 8:13Speaker 2: Mm-hmm.
- 8:15Speaker 1: She wasn't nice to Razvan. They had met on TikTok.
- 8:17Speaker 1: So who could have seen that not working out? So
- 8:21Speaker 1: he says he lives in Houston, Texas now.
- 8:24Speaker 4: Okay.
- 8:24Speaker 2: So three people are from Houston.
- 8:26Speaker 3: Also, how did he get.
- 8:28Speaker 2: To, I don't know.
- 8:30Speaker 1: He said he followed his American dream. He loves country music.
- 8:33Speaker 1: He He wants a woman to embrace his weirdness and
- 8:39Speaker 1: his goofiness, and we see some of his social media stuff.
- 8:42Speaker 1: He loves to be the weird guy, but he looks
- 8:45Speaker 1: like James Bond.
- 8:47Speaker 2: Disagree. Disagree.
- 8:50Speaker 1: And he says, is this retreat ready for the real Raz?
- 8:54Speaker 1: Apparently not, because you get kicked out by being yourself.
- 8:57Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 8:58Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 9:01Speaker 3: And are we going to see that?
- 9:02Speaker 2: I hope so, but I'm sure not.
- 9:05Speaker 3: I bet not. I really want to. I'm really excited.
- 9:09Speaker 1: Razmian's not able to join us for the tell-all today,
- 9:12Speaker 1: but we wish him the best.
- 9:13Speaker 2: That's right.
- 9:13Speaker 3: Is that all we're going to get?
- 9:15Speaker 2: Oh, man. Do we see Brittany? She's 32. She lives
- 9:20Speaker 2: in Chicago.
- 9:20Speaker 1: Now, she says she lives in Chicago, but she's been
- 9:24Speaker 1: hanging out with Michael in Houston.
- 9:27Speaker 3: And didn't she used to live in Florida?
- 9:28Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 9:30Speaker 2: I think so. Yeah, she was in Miami. She was
- 9:33Speaker 2: making like rap videos and stuff. Okay.
- 9:36Speaker 3: How does she walk upright?
- 9:38Speaker 2: She's very voluptuous.
- 9:40Speaker 3: She has Chantel's proportions.
- 9:44Speaker 2: Yes, she does.
- 9:45Speaker 3: Pre-boob reduction.
- 9:46Speaker 2: Uh-huh.
- 9:47Speaker 3: Yes, she does. Also, what was the point of getting
- 9:49Speaker 3: braces to fix your teeth? No one is looking at
- 9:51Speaker 3: your face. I hate to say it.
- 9:53Speaker 2: But her teeth look great.
- 9:55Speaker 3: They do. She's a cute girl.
- 9:57Speaker 4: Mm-hmm. Yeah.
- 9:59Speaker 1: So, So she says she's excited about going to Puerto Rico.
- 10:02Speaker 1: She says, one time I fucked a Puerto Rican man.
- 10:06Speaker 1: I did a cartwheel and ended up on his dick.
- 10:08Speaker 2: I miss him.
- 10:09Speaker 3: Wow.
- 10:09Speaker 2: Okay.
- 10:11Speaker 1: She says she's with this guy driving a golf cart,
- 10:15Speaker 1: you know, like to the room. And he's like, oh,
- 10:16Speaker 1: you're so beautiful. You've got big, big everything.
- 10:20Speaker 3: I was like, again, no one is looking at your
- 10:22Speaker 3: new teeth.
- 10:23Speaker 2: But is that something you say to a stranger?
- 10:25Speaker 3: No, that he should get fired.
- 10:27Speaker 2: Yeah, that's crazy.
- 10:28Speaker 4: He should get fired. That is sexual harassment and totally inappropriate.
- 10:33Speaker 2: Yeah. And she goes, well, I'm here. I'm looking for
- 10:36Speaker 2: a guy.
- 10:37Speaker 1: And she says she's dated NFL players, NBA players. NBA
- 10:41Speaker 1: players are great, but they're whores. And she keeps picking
- 10:45Speaker 1: the wrong guys. And then we see her love story
- 10:47Speaker 1: with Yasmin. She's the one who dated the guy named Yasmin,
- 10:52Speaker 1: who was from Jordan. And we see the whole thing
- 10:54Speaker 1: with this family and her yelling at him. And she says,
- 10:57Speaker 1: Yasmin was a cheater and a liar. And that really
- 11:01Speaker 1: messed with my confidence.
- 11:04Speaker 2: And, you know, she's ready. I'm ready to meet these singles,
- 11:06Speaker 2: she says. He was a cheater? That's what she says.
- 11:10Speaker 2: A lot of these guys are.
- 11:13Speaker 3: No, I believe her. I believe her. He was, he was, No,
- 11:18Speaker 3: bad news.
- 11:20Speaker 1: So we see the party and the singles all arriving.
- 11:23Speaker 1: We see Jamal arriving doing like a goofy dance.
- 11:25Speaker 2: Like, don't do that.
- 11:27Speaker 4: That's why he gets along with Rob so well at
- 11:29Speaker 4: this moment, because Rob had those same dance moves when
- 11:32Speaker 4: he proposed to Sophie.
- 11:34Speaker 2: At the airport.
- 11:36Speaker 4: And why they do the Bad Boys for Life, which
- 11:38Speaker 4: is just a career based off lip syncing.
- 11:41Speaker 2: R.I.P.
- 11:43Speaker 1: He walks up and meets some of the ladies there.
- 11:46Speaker 1: And he goes, oh, God, I'm so happy my mom's
- 11:47Speaker 1: not here. And he goes, God, he says to somebody,
- 11:50Speaker 1: I keep forgetting we're here for three weeks. Like, I
- 11:52Speaker 1: need to lock in. So they're there for three weeks.
- 11:55Speaker 1: So there is enough time to kind of get to
- 11:57Speaker 1: know somebody if you're seeing them every day, you know?
- 12:00Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 12:00Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 12:02Speaker 1: So Kara, Kara's 33, she walks in. Then we see
- 12:05Speaker 1: a guy named Brian who's 30 and from Vegas. He's
- 12:08Speaker 1: a former NFL player. Our group chat has fully vetted him,
- 12:12Speaker 1: said he never played, whatever. But he was– recruited by
- 12:16Speaker 1: the NFL in the NFL, that means something because it's
- 12:19Speaker 1: a very small percent.
- 12:21Speaker 2: So even if he didn't play, good for you, Brian. Yeah.
- 12:24Speaker 3: But that probably means he's a poor.
- 12:27Speaker 2: Oh, he's definitely a poor.
- 12:29Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 12:30Speaker 1: He says he's super excited about going to this retreat
- 12:33Speaker 1: and he's done being a hoe up in the club.
- 12:35Speaker 2: He's done.
- 12:36Speaker 4: Sure. Sure.
- 12:38Speaker 1: So Jamal and Kara talk and she says she knows
- 12:41Speaker 1: Jamal because he was in her Bachata music video. Yeah. And, um,
- 12:46Speaker 1: she says, we missed this, uh, because Kara's bachata videos
- 12:52Speaker 1: did not pop up in her feed. I mean, um,
- 12:55Speaker 1: she says his romantic history seems messy. So she's already
- 12:59Speaker 1: judging him and I like it.
- 13:01Speaker 2: Yeah. So now we see Chloe.
- 13:03Speaker 1: Remember Chloe? She's 24 from Boston. She dated Johnny, the
- 13:06Speaker 1: pirate that had the bird tattoo on his neck. Um,
- 13:10Speaker 1: She says, I'm super single. And if I can't find
- 13:13Speaker 1: love in this setting, I'm screwed. You know, I do
- 13:16Speaker 1: have lingering trauma from that Johnny situation. You get a
- 13:20Speaker 1: recap of their love story and how awful he was
- 13:21Speaker 1: to her. But she continued to bang him anyway. And
- 13:27Speaker 1: she says, I'm looking for somebody tall.
- 13:28Speaker 2: I know. Controversial. And she's 4'11. Also, she's 4'11.
- 13:33Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 13:34Speaker 1: She would maybe.
- 13:36Speaker 3: Save the tallies for taller women.
- 13:39Speaker 2: I know. I know. Get a 5'8 and under king.
- 13:42Speaker 3: Okay?
- 13:43Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 13:43Speaker 1: So she says she can't go for a man in flip-flops.
- 13:46Speaker 1: Flip-flops are so gross to her. And she says, but
- 13:48Speaker 1: I really am still traumatized for what happened with Johnny,
- 13:52Speaker 1: and I do want to break my walls down.
- 13:54Speaker 2: And once I do that, then I'll be perfect. I
- 13:57Speaker 2: love Khloe and her confidence.
- 13:59Speaker 3: I do, too. Does she get her lips done?
- 14:02Speaker 1: Her upper lip is very different, and it's bothering me.
- 14:05Speaker 1: I do think it is filler, and then I do
- 14:07Speaker 1: think it is overdrawn as well.
- 14:11Speaker 2: She's so young.
- 14:13Speaker 1: It doesn't look like what it looked like the first
- 14:15Speaker 1: time she was on the reunion.
- 14:17Speaker 4: Again, save it for when you're older and your lips
- 14:19Speaker 4: have deflated and you need it. But she's super cute
- 14:24Speaker 4: and her hair looks so much better.
- 14:28Speaker 1: Y'all, we all have those things in our closet that
- 14:30Speaker 1: we just reach for again and again, right?
- 14:32Speaker 2: It could be your favorite jeans.
- 14:34Speaker 1: It could be a jacket that just always looks good
- 14:36Speaker 1: with everything or your favorite handbag. Like these are the
- 14:39Speaker 1: pieces that earn a permanent place in your wardrobe. And
- 14:42Speaker 1: that's exactly what Quince does so well. So whenever I
- 14:46Speaker 1: come on here to talk to y'all about Quince, I
- 14:48Speaker 1: look at my cart. What did I just buy? What
- 14:50Speaker 1: am I about to buy? Right now, I have the
- 14:52Speaker 1: organic French terry hoodie in white in my cart. It's
- 14:56Speaker 1: perfect for elevating a athleisure look, you know, when you're
- 14:59Speaker 1: trying to be comfy, but also look great. I also
- 15:01Speaker 1: just got the sienna hand-woven tote in cognac for my
- 15:05Speaker 1: upcoming trips. I'm going to New York soon and Italy,
- 15:09Speaker 1: and it's going to look amazing. With all my travel outfits,
- 15:11Speaker 1: it's a perfect piece. And don't tell my sisters, but
- 15:14Speaker 1: I got us some matching soft pajamas for our trip.
- 15:17Speaker 1: They're made of bamboo jersey. They're so comfy. You know
- 15:20Speaker 1: that Quince makes elevated everyday essentials using premium materials like
- 15:25Speaker 1: Mongolia and cashmere. You guys, those sweaters start at just $ 50.
- 15:29Speaker 1: They also use organic cotton and premium stretch denim. I
- 15:33Speaker 1: love the jeans. The designs are timeless and made to
- 15:36Speaker 1: be worn again and again. And as the weather gets colder,
- 15:40Speaker 1: Quince has everything you need to round out your wardrobe
- 15:42Speaker 1: from warm, responsibly sourced down jackets to cozy cashmere scarves
- 15:47Speaker 1: and gloves. And you know, everything at Quince is priced
- 15:50Speaker 1: 50 to 80% less than similar brands because they work

- 16:39Speaker 1: So Chloe walks up and Jamal's.
- 16:41Speaker 2: Like, hey girl. She's like, hi. And he goes, oh God,
- 16:45Speaker 2: I'm Jamal. I've pillow talked you many times.
- 16:48Speaker 1: And she's like, that's weird that he knows who I am,
- 16:50Speaker 1: but He's tall and confident, so I guess he's fine.
- 16:54Speaker 1: The talking head, he goes, yeah, I'm that creepy guy
- 16:55Speaker 1: at the high school where you knew who knows everything
- 16:57Speaker 1: about everybody.
- 16:58Speaker 2: Like, that's not, I need to stop. Which is funny
- 17:00Speaker 2: because he's been on pillow talk, so he's had to
- 17:02Speaker 2: know who all these people are, you know?
- 17:04Speaker 4: I can't believe she has not watched her own pillow talks, though.
- 17:09Speaker 4: Doesn't she seem like she would watch the show or
- 17:12Speaker 4: because it was so bad with Johnny she didn't want
- 17:14Speaker 4: to watch?
- 17:15Speaker 1: I bet she watched Pillow Talk, but she wasn't clocking
- 17:17Speaker 1: in her mind like Jamal was on it with his
- 17:19Speaker 1: mom because he's just one.
- 17:20Speaker 2: Part, you know?
- 17:21Speaker 3: Right.
- 17:23Speaker 2: Brittany walks in. She meets Malik from where? Where's he from?
- 17:28Speaker 2: Where's he from? Jackson, Mississippi.
- 17:30Speaker 3: What?
- 17:30Speaker 2: What?
- 17:31Speaker 3: Well, okay.
- 17:32Speaker 2: My hometown.
- 17:33Speaker 3: There we go.
- 17:34Speaker 2: What's up, Malik?
- 17:34Speaker 3: I was like, why is she getting so excited? I
- 17:37Speaker 3: don't remember him at all.
- 17:38Speaker 1: Yeah, I got to figure out everything about Malik. If
- 17:40Speaker 1: anybody knows about Malik from Jackson, Mississippi, please let me know.
- 17:43Speaker 2: He's 28.
- 17:43Speaker 4: Okay.
- 17:44Speaker 1: So he says, I just want to be natural and
- 17:47Speaker 1: be myself and get to know these people. And my
- 17:50Speaker 1: best aspects, I guess, are my heart. And I have
- 17:53Speaker 1: a big phallus.
- 17:55Speaker 3: Yeah. Oh, he's the guy who said phallus.
- 17:57Speaker 4: Yep.
- 17:58Speaker 2: Big phallus.
- 18:00Speaker 3: Well, now you know all you need to know about him.
- 18:02Speaker 2: Well, now I'd like to know, like, what's his job?
- 18:04Speaker 3: Where did he go to school?
- 18:05Speaker 2: I'd like to know more.
- 18:08Speaker 1: Brittany talks to Chloe and Jamal.
- 18:11Speaker 2: So they're all talking.
- 18:13Speaker 1: And the talking head, Brittany, goes, the 90-day people could
- 18:15Speaker 1: be kind of insane. And at first I was like,
- 18:17Speaker 1: why is this little girl here? Did y'all check her ID?
- 18:20Speaker 2: That's funny.
- 18:23Speaker 1: So Rosamund walks in and he says, I'm shy and
- 18:27Speaker 1: I don't normally talk to girls and I'm kind of intimidated.
- 18:30Speaker 1: But he meets Erica and she seems into him. And
- 18:34Speaker 1: she's like, he's cute. His body is amazing. He has
- 18:36Speaker 1: intriguing eyes.
- 18:37Speaker 2: So I think that the people, the other.
- 18:39Speaker 1: Singles, everybody like Razvan, Brittany, Kara, they're getting this like
- 18:46Speaker 1: walking in alone shot. And they were probably the singles like,
- 18:50Speaker 1: y'all all go at six. And then probably between 630
- 18:54Speaker 1: and 730, they were doing these single shots.
- 18:56Speaker 2: And so they were probably like, if they didn't know.
- 18:58Speaker 3: They're the important ones.
- 19:00Speaker 1: If they didn't know, they asked around and they figured
- 19:02Speaker 1: it out, right?
- 19:03Speaker 3: Yeah. You can tell who's trying to become a key player. Brian, Erica.
- 19:09Speaker 2: Erica.
- 19:10Speaker 3: And there's one other girl. Can't remember her name.
- 19:14Speaker 2: Landon, who walks Chloe to her room.
- 19:16Speaker 4: Iris. Yes.
- 19:17Speaker 3: Landon, Iris. And we'll get to her.
- 19:22Speaker 2: Yeah. We'll figure it out as we go. Again, don't
- 19:25Speaker 2: have pictures. Yeah.
- 19:26Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 19:27Speaker 1: Because I was on the train, I didn't want to
- 19:29Speaker 1: take pictures of my computer with my phone because the
- 19:32Speaker 1: guy next to me, I felt, was already judging me.
- 19:35Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 19:35Speaker 2: So now we get this big lead up.
- 19:38Speaker 3: This is my job, I swear.
- 19:40Speaker 1: I was like, I'm taking notes and I'm saying like,
- 19:42Speaker 1: she said she doesn't give a fuck. I'm typing bad words.
- 19:44Speaker 1: It's my job. We get this big lead up to
- 19:48Speaker 1: Emma walking in as if like, Cher was walking in.
- 19:51Speaker 1: They make the biggest deal of it. They like cut
- 19:53Speaker 1: to commercial. They make the biggest deal of it. So
- 19:57Speaker 1: Jamal's like, ooh, to the group. This one's trouble. She
- 20:00Speaker 1: hooked up with my best friend. And in the talking head,
- 20:04Speaker 1: he goes, yeah, Emma's hot. She can really attract people
- 20:07Speaker 1: to her.
- 20:08Speaker 2: I'm fucked. I got to stay away from her, but
- 20:11Speaker 2: I'm a weak man. And again, we say, her? We
- 20:16Speaker 2: don't get it. We don't get it.
- 20:18Speaker 3: Is it the fake?
- 20:19Speaker 2: I get the attraction to Kara.
- 20:22Speaker 4: Everything about Emma's face is fake, like looks plastic. And
- 20:28Speaker 4: she's so young and was probably so naturally pretty because.
- 20:32Speaker 3: We've seen her twin sister.
- 20:33Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 20:34Speaker 3: I think it's so.
- 20:37Speaker 1: Much makeup and contouring. And the baby voice. And the
- 20:41Speaker 1: baby voice. And the wig.
- 20:44Speaker 2: It's just odd.
- 20:45Speaker 4: Cute.
- 20:46Speaker 3: Cute.
- 20:49Speaker 2: Oh, my God. That's cute.
- 20:52Speaker 3: And my little baby.
- 20:55Speaker 2: Yes, exactly.
- 20:57Speaker 1: So the talking head Emma says, my perfect man is tall. Sexy, honest, loyal,
- 21:07Speaker 1: a good kisser, good in bed, doesn't have kids, doesn't
- 21:12Speaker 1: have a lot of ex-girlfriends. I don't think that's a
- 21:14Speaker 1: lot to ask. And I need help finding love because
- 21:18Speaker 1: whenever I find a boy that I like, it goes
- 21:21Speaker 1: downhill so fast.
- 21:23Speaker 2: I'm just a hopeless romantic.
- 21:24Speaker 1: And I know on one date, after one date, I know,
- 21:28Speaker 1: do I want to be with him forever?
- 21:30Speaker 2: Is that a red flag?
- 21:31Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 21:32Speaker 3: Yes.
- 21:32Speaker 1: And then I said we see her love story with
- 21:34Speaker 1: what's his name because I forgot his name.
- 21:35Speaker 4: Zia.
- 21:36Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 21:37Speaker 3: Yeah, it's a red flag.
- 21:38Speaker 4: She has never once stopped to say what is someone
- 21:42Speaker 4: looking for in a partner in me? And do I
- 21:45Speaker 4: possess those good qualities?
- 21:48Speaker 2: She just thinks being cute is enough.
- 21:50Speaker 3: Is enough. Yeah.
- 21:52Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 21:53Speaker 2: So then she meets.
- 21:53Speaker 1: Everyone and she's doing the hair and she goes, oh
- 21:56Speaker 1: my God, everyone is so cute.
- 21:59Speaker 2: Yeah. And Jamal walks up. She was like, hey, boo,
- 22:02Speaker 2: you look cute. We match.
- 22:06Speaker 1: Now we see Steven walking up. Steven's 28. He's from Queens,
- 22:10Speaker 1: New York. He says, I don't know how to flirt.
- 22:13Speaker 1: The last time I did it, I was 19. You know,
- 22:15Speaker 1: I got two kids. You know, I was 19 when
- 22:18Speaker 1: I fell in love and had a son and I
- 22:20Speaker 1: had to be a father before I knew how to
- 22:22Speaker 1: be a man. And I fucked it all up. I
- 22:25Speaker 1: was selfish and I was an asshole. And we see
- 22:28Speaker 1: him being awful to Olga, who I guess they did
- 22:32Speaker 1: on Diaries, but she appears to be breastfeeding what appears
- 22:35Speaker 1: to be like a 12-year-old.
- 22:36Speaker 2: Like, what are we doing?
- 22:39Speaker 4: No.
- 22:40Speaker 3: Who was she breastfeeding? Their little girl?
- 22:42Speaker 1: A little girl who, like, walked up and pulled her
- 22:44Speaker 1: shirt down and she laid her across and.
- 22:46Speaker 2: Got on her boob.
- 22:47Speaker 1: Like, the girl was like, I would like milk. And
- 22:49Speaker 1: she goes, over here. And she goes, Mom, move your shirt.
- 22:53Speaker 4: No.
- 22:54Speaker 3: Their little girl is quite young. She is still young.
- 22:58Speaker 3: I mean, she's maybe... She could be like three, but
- 23:02Speaker 3: she was walking and talking. She was.
- 23:05Speaker 4: Well, she's from, she's from Russia and there maybe you
- 23:11Speaker 4: breastfeed longer because you're poor.
- 23:14Speaker 1: Well, until you go to kindergarten. I mean, that's going
- 23:16Speaker 1: to be awkward.
- 23:16Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 23:18Speaker 2: But that's the first thing.
- 23:19Speaker 1: It's like the two of them talking and the child
- 23:21Speaker 1: walks up and like pulls her shirt and lays on
- 23:23Speaker 1: her lap.
- 23:24Speaker 4: I once saw a special about that, about like women
- 23:27Speaker 4: who breastfed way too long. But like in their cultures,
- 23:31Speaker 4: it was normal. But some of them were in America
- 23:33Speaker 4: and they got a lot of pushback. But I'll never
- 23:36Speaker 4: forget there was one kid who was nine. And I
- 23:40Speaker 4: think he was nine and he like would come home
- 23:44Speaker 4: from school. And they filmed him. It was a documentary.
- 23:48Speaker 4: And he would be like, mommy, I want num-nums. And
- 23:52Speaker 4: like climbed on his lap and went to town. And
- 23:57Speaker 4: it was like the other kids at school were having
- 24:00Speaker 4: like snack time and he just wanted like his breast
- 24:03Speaker 4: milk time.
- 24:05Speaker 3: So it was super awk.
- 24:08Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 24:10Speaker 1: So he says he's been single for two years, and
- 24:13Speaker 1: in those two years, he's only been on two dates.
- 24:16Speaker 1: And so then he kind of looks around and goes.
- 24:18Speaker 2: Is this everybody? Like, these are my choices?
- 24:23Speaker 4: I think he was just trying to make conversation, but
- 24:25Speaker 4: it didn't sound like a diss towards the girl he
- 24:28Speaker 4: asked it of.
- 24:30Speaker 1: And he asked for a very odd tattooing across his
- 24:34Speaker 1: chest that I'd never noticed before, but maybe that's new.
- 24:37Speaker 3: Yeah, I feel... I don't... I think... I didn't feel
- 24:41Speaker 3: like he had that before.
- 24:42Speaker 4: I don't feel like he did either, but they do
- 24:44Speaker 4: look like tattoos you would get when you were very
- 24:47Speaker 4: dumb and young and didn't know what they meant.
- 24:49Speaker 3: And perhaps later they mean something super problematic. Yeah.
- 24:53Speaker 1: I think we're going to find that out about Andy
- 24:55Speaker 1: Jane's guy next week.
- 24:57Speaker 2: No.
- 24:58Speaker 4: On Reddit, I found out that it's a very common
- 25:03Speaker 4: tattoo in Australia. And it is not meant.
- 25:07Speaker 3: To be racist, although... people in Australia are very racist.
- 25:11Speaker 4: The person in the post was from Australia and explained
- 25:15Speaker 4: the meaning of the tattoo and that it's very common
- 25:18Speaker 4: amongst like drunken young guys in their early 20s get
- 25:23Speaker 4: it and then later regret it.
- 25:26Speaker 3: So... Okay.
- 25:28Speaker 1: But what our podcast chat pulled up was that it
- 25:31Speaker 1: did mean something to do with like a racist group.
- 25:35Speaker 3: Yes, that it could mean that, but... I even screenshotted it.
- 25:41Speaker 3: We'll talk about it on the next episode of that show.
- 25:44Speaker 2: We'll talk about it when we talk about them.
- 25:46Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 25:46Speaker 3: But I saved the article. Yeah.
- 25:49Speaker 4: Okay, good.
- 25:49Speaker 2: All right. Share it with the group so we can
- 25:51Speaker 2: make our judgments.
- 25:52Speaker 4: Okay. Okay.
- 25:53Speaker 1: So now we see Michael of Michael and Angela. Michael
- 25:58Speaker 1: is 38. Can you believe Michael is 38?
- 26:03Speaker 4: I'm surprised he doesn't look worse because I would feel
- 26:06Speaker 4: like Angela would just suck the life out of you
- 26:09Speaker 4: as a mentor with that cigarette breath.
- 26:14Speaker 2: Cigarettes, sure. It looks like something else.
- 26:16Speaker 3: Whatever. Smoking breath.
- 26:19Speaker 2: He's 38.
- 26:20Speaker 1: He's from Nigeria. And he says, I dropped off the
- 26:23Speaker 1: face of the earth for two years, but now I
- 26:25Speaker 1: am free.
- 26:26Speaker 3: He was in hiding. Let's be real.
- 26:28Speaker 2: He was in hiding. Yeah.
- 26:30Speaker 3: He was in WITSEC.
- 26:32Speaker 1: He says, I work out now. Um, and my body
- 26:35Speaker 1: is pretty good, but I don't ever want to be skinny.
- 26:37Speaker 1: I still like to have a butt. And he says, uh,
- 26:40Speaker 1: if I can survive eight years with Angela, I know
- 26:43Speaker 1: I can do this.
- 26:44Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 26:45Speaker 2: Um, we get some terrible clips of them.
- 26:47Speaker 1: And he says one day he just picked up his
- 26:49Speaker 1: backpack and his documents and left the house.
- 26:52Speaker 2: And he said, it was like in the dead of night.
- 26:54Speaker 3: He escaped, he escaped.
- 26:56Speaker 1: Um, He now lives in Houston. And as of a
- 26:59Speaker 1: couple of weeks ago, he's officially divorced. And he says
- 27:04Speaker 1: he wants to find his true love, but he prays
- 27:07Speaker 1: for a big butt and big boobs.
- 27:08Speaker 2: Amen. Okay.
- 27:09Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 27:11Speaker 4: And really, if you were dating him, you would have
- 27:14Speaker 4: nothing ever to feel self-conscious about because he found Angela acceptable. Yes.
- 27:21Speaker 2: He found her.
- 27:21Speaker 3: We're all doing better than her.
- 27:23Speaker 2: Yeah. Right.
- 27:24Speaker 1: So Jamal sees Michael walk up. And of course, because
- 27:28Speaker 1: Jamal knows everybody's.
- 27:29Speaker 3: Like, oh, shit.
- 27:30Speaker 2: Woo, Michael, free at last, free at last.
- 27:33Speaker 1: And we found out Brittany and Michael are friends in Houston,
- 27:37Speaker 1: even though she said she's from Chicago.
- 27:40Speaker 4: I feel like she's from Houston, but she was definitely
- 27:42Speaker 4: modeling in Miami. Right.
- 27:45Speaker 2: But why does her chyron say Chicago?
- 27:48Speaker 3: Oh, yeah. No, I don't understand that.
- 27:51Speaker 1: So she says, Michael and I are really good friends.
- 27:53Speaker 1: He knows everything about me. But the messy part of
- 27:55Speaker 1: me thinks he looks good. And in the talking head,
- 27:59Speaker 1: Michael says, we're just friends. But she doesn't know. I
- 28:01Speaker 1: have a huge crush on her. She's got the big boobs.
- 28:05Speaker 1: And I'm a boobs man.
- 28:06Speaker 2: In case you didn't know. We know. We know.
- 28:08Speaker 3: Yes, we remember.
- 28:10Speaker 1: So now the three dating coaches arrive and welcome everyone.
- 28:13Speaker 1: And it's Tanya and Brandon are the dating coaches. And
- 28:17Speaker 1: Amanda is their events coordinator. If it's anything like last
- 28:20Speaker 1: Hunt for Love, they do nothing.
- 28:23Speaker 4: No. Nothing.
- 28:24Speaker 1: So she tells them they need to give the necklace
- 28:28Speaker 1: to somebody that they're interested in.
- 28:29Speaker 2: And Emma goes, I have a question.
- 28:31Speaker 1: If somebody gives me a necklace, can I give my
- 28:34Speaker 1: necklace to somebody else? And she goes, yeah, if somebody
- 28:37Speaker 1: gives you a necklace, you can give it to somebody else.
- 28:38Speaker 1: She's like, but then like, what if I get four necklaces?
- 28:40Speaker 1: And then I can give like four to somebody else.
- 28:42Speaker 1: Or like, if somebody gave me one, then what if
- 28:43Speaker 1: I gave that one? They're like, it's not question time.
- 28:46Speaker 2: Little girl.
- 28:49Speaker 1: So Chloe goes, oh God, I hate this. I hate
- 28:52Speaker 1: talking to men first. Men usually just come to me
- 28:55Speaker 1: and I'm like, okay, or go away.
- 28:57Speaker 2: Like, ugh. So Kara talks to some guy.
- 29:02Speaker 1: His name is Matt. He's 31 from Salt Lake City.
- 29:04Speaker 1: And she's like, talking about having money and she's like, yeah,
- 29:07Speaker 1: I mean, it's great if you can have money and
- 29:09Speaker 1: also do what you love. Would you like to know
- 29:11Speaker 1: what I do for a living? Do you need a
- 29:13Speaker 1: pocket P word? I've got, I've got 12 in my room. Um,
- 29:18Speaker 1: and she's handing them out in goodie bags. She says,
- 29:21Speaker 1: this is, uh, this guy's name is Matt. He's 31
- 29:24Speaker 1: from Salt Lake city. And she was like, he's cute.
- 29:26Speaker 1: He's not my type at all. He's giving like surfer bro.
- 29:29Speaker 1: I was like, try something new, Kara.
- 29:31Speaker 2: Why not?
- 29:32Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 29:33Speaker 2: Yeah. 31 age appropriate.
- 29:35Speaker 1: So, Kara sees a guy in a purple shirt across
- 29:38Speaker 1: the room named JT. and Emma is talking to him.
- 29:41Speaker 1: So Kara goes, I don't know. I'm just like, I
- 29:42Speaker 1: just feel drawn to him. Like, Emma's talking to him. Like,
- 29:44Speaker 1: what if she gets him first? So she goes over
- 29:47Speaker 1: and gives him her necklace and was like, even though
- 29:49Speaker 1: we haven't met, I love your energy. I love your vibe.
- 29:52Speaker 1: I love your style. I find you super attractive. And
- 29:54Speaker 1: he's like, okay, thanks. That's really nice.
- 29:58Speaker 2: And Emma's like- That was bold. I didn't like it.
- 30:02Speaker 2: I didn't like it.
- 30:04Speaker 1: And he says he's 27. And she's like, ooh. And
- 30:08Speaker 1: she goes, he might be in a very different part
- 30:10Speaker 1: of his life. I'm divorcing somebody that age. So maybe
- 30:12Speaker 1: I fucked up by approaching him.
- 30:14Speaker 2: Yes, girl. Too impressive.
- 30:16Speaker 4: You should have learned someone's name and age before you
- 30:20Speaker 4: gave them a necklace because they were hot.
- 30:23Speaker 2: Right. Don't worry about Emma.
- 30:25Speaker 4: Not that you're– the necklaces don't, as we'll get to,
- 30:28Speaker 4: mean nothing. It's not like you're chained to that person forever.
- 30:31Speaker 2: Right.
- 30:32Speaker 3: This is a marriage necklace.
- 30:34Speaker 2: Right. And then that's it. It's like love is black.
- 30:37Speaker 1: So, okay, Brittany and Michael talk. And she's like, oh,
- 30:42Speaker 1: I like that girl over there.
- 30:43Speaker 2: And he goes, do you know if she likes women?
- 30:45Speaker 2: And she goes, I don't know.
- 30:46Speaker 1: She tells us she identifies as bisexual. So she's looking
- 30:50Speaker 1: over at this one particular girl, and it's Erica.
- 30:53Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 30:53Speaker 1: So she goes up and talks to Erica, who is
- 30:55Speaker 1: 33 from Atlanta, and gives Erica the necklace.
- 30:59Speaker 2: And everybody's like, what are you doing? Like, Erica likes guys. Like,
- 31:03Speaker 2: what are you doing? But, I mean, talking to Erica goes,
- 31:06Speaker 2: I was kind of confused.
- 31:07Speaker 1: Normally, I would let somebody know if this happened that
- 31:10Speaker 1: I'm not into women.
- 31:11Speaker 2: But I'm feeling intrigued. Look at her. Look at her. Okay. Interesting.
- 31:17Speaker 3: Also, airtime. More airtime. Yes.
- 31:20Speaker 2: I can pretend that I'm gay for this show.
- 31:22Speaker 4: No.
- 31:23Speaker 2: That I'm interested.
- 31:24Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 31:25Speaker 2: So Michael talks to a.
- 31:27Speaker 1: Girl named Iris and she says, how old are you?
- 31:30Speaker 1: He says, he's 38. She is 29 from San Antonio.
- 31:34Speaker 2: He's from Houston. She's from San Antonio.
- 31:36Speaker 1: I don't know how close they are, but they're both
- 31:38Speaker 1: in Texas. He goes, oh, I'm older. I'm 38. And
- 31:43Speaker 1: she goes, that's fine. I like to date older guys.
- 31:45Speaker 1: And he goes, she says, older is better. And he goes, no,
- 31:49Speaker 1: like how old?
- 31:51Speaker 2: And she goes, my ex is 57.
- 31:51Speaker 1: I was like, Why are you telling that? Don't tell
- 31:55Speaker 1: people that. You sound like a gold digger.
- 31:57Speaker 3: Because she wants to get cast on Agent Appropriate next.
- 32:01Speaker 2: Great point.
- 32:03Speaker 1: And he goes, wow, 57. She goes, I know your
- 32:06Speaker 1: ex was older. Don't judge me. And I was like, okay.
- 32:09Speaker 1: So they did get information about these people.
- 32:13Speaker 2: I don't like it.
- 32:13Speaker 1: So in the talking head, Michael says, I considered giving
- 32:18Speaker 1: my necklace to Brittany. But we're friends, and we're really
- 32:21Speaker 1: here to get to know other people. And I like Iris.
- 32:24Speaker 1: She's beautiful, but she likes old men. But I'm not
- 32:26Speaker 1: that old. I don't need Viagra yet. My marriage age
- 32:30Speaker 1: difference was 22 years, and I'll never do that again.
- 32:33Speaker 2: Okay, good. Yeah.
- 32:35Speaker 3: Well, this would be the opposite direction.
- 32:37Speaker 4: Right. Right. But the benefit of dating an older guy
- 32:41Speaker 4: is like an older, established, wealthier man who has established himself.
- 32:47Speaker 4: Michael is like a newborn babe in this country, basically,
- 32:50Speaker 4: because he was kept under lock and key from Angela.
- 32:55Speaker 2: Does he have a job? We don't even know.
- 32:56Speaker 3: We don't know. I'm hoping. I'm assuming.
- 32:59Speaker 2: Yeah, he has to find a way to support himself.
- 33:01Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 33:03Speaker 2: Erica gives her necklace.
- 33:05Speaker 1: To Rosbyn and she's like, I'm going to give you
- 33:08Speaker 1: my necklace. She's got major vocal fry. Erica does.
- 33:12Speaker 4: You're so badly talking about women's voices because it doesn't
- 33:15Speaker 4: feel good when people do it to us.
- 33:17Speaker 3: However, this is like an, I feels like a choice.
- 33:22Speaker 3: It feels like a choice.
- 33:22Speaker 2: Yeah, when you have vocal fry, it feels like a choice.
- 33:24Speaker 4: I mean, some people maybe can't help it, but I
- 33:27Speaker 4: think you could really work on it and maybe help it.
- 33:32Speaker 4: I mean, I lived in L.A. for 25 years, and
- 33:34Speaker 4: I don't talk like Emma.
- 33:35Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean, I think people that do it, they're like,
- 33:38Speaker 1: I'm going to be like a Kardashian and say anything
- 33:41Speaker 1: with the end of the sentence where it goes up
- 33:42Speaker 1: like a question.
- 33:44Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 33:45Speaker 2: It does feel intentional. It does.
- 33:49Speaker 1: And the talking head, Rosven, says, I think Emma– Is
- 33:52Speaker 1: the one. But Erica gave me the necklace.
- 33:54Speaker 2: The one.
- 33:56Speaker 3: The one. You might be perfect for each other, actually.
- 33:58Speaker 3: Emma is looking for a husband on night one. And
- 34:02Speaker 3: he's saying the one. So there we go.
- 34:06Speaker 1: So the talking head, Emma, says, I know Jamal because
- 34:10Speaker 1: I was hooking up with Rob for a year. And
- 34:12Speaker 1: I never looked at Jamal in that light. But the
- 34:15Speaker 1: last time we hung out, I thought, he's actually really
- 34:19Speaker 1: sexy and hotter than Rob.
- 34:22Speaker 2: Okay, so she's just saying that. Well, it's just false.
- 34:24Speaker 1: And she's also just saying that to turn it to Rob.
- 34:28Speaker 4: I'm saying that as someone who despises Rob and thinks
- 34:32Speaker 4: he's a horrible person and hates women. He is objectively
- 34:36Speaker 4: hotter than Jamal. And Jamal, I find actually quite charming
- 34:40Speaker 4: and funny, especially when he's on pillow talk with his mom.
- 34:43Speaker 4: He's very foolish on these dating shows and I think is...
- 34:48Speaker 4: not a nice guy portraying himself as a nice guy,
- 34:51Speaker 4: which is fucked up and diabolical, but I.
- 34:57Speaker 3: Still think Rob is hotter.
- 34:59Speaker 2: Yeah. I mean, objectively he's very attractive.
- 35:02Speaker 1: So Chloe talks to Emma and Jamal and they're looking
- 35:06Speaker 1: around and Chloe goes, that bald guy is giving corporate.
- 35:12Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 35:13Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 35:15Speaker 2: And they're like- You.
- 35:16Speaker 3: Haven't seen his videos where he's in the shower. Yeah.
- 35:20Speaker 1: They're like, he's on 90 Day Fiance. She's like, I
- 35:23Speaker 1: didn't even know. So in the talk tonight, Chloe says,
- 35:27Speaker 1: Emma and I follow each other on social media, but
- 35:30Speaker 1: we're very opposite. Chloe says, Emma is like very positive
- 35:34Speaker 1: and I'm not. And Emma is just like a hurricane
- 35:39Speaker 1: of drama. God, I hope we don't like the same guy.
- 35:42Speaker 1: Competing with Emma sounds like a terrible idea.
- 35:45Speaker 2: On her behalf.
- 35:47Speaker 1: So Jamal talks to Emma. And he goes, I don't
- 35:52Speaker 1: think I'm supposed to be talking to you.
- 35:53Speaker 2: You're trouble.
- 35:54Speaker 1: And she goes, I'm allowed to do what I want.
- 35:56Speaker 1: I'm single. And he goes, well, I got love from
- 35:59Speaker 1: my boy Rob. And she goes, do you want my necklace?
- 36:03Speaker 1: And he goes, I don't think we should do that.
- 36:04Speaker 1: And she goes, take it off of me.
- 36:06Speaker 2: And so he does. He takes the necklace off of her.
- 36:10Speaker 2: And she goes, cute. And if you're thinking.
- 36:15Speaker 4: At home, this sounds weird and rushed and strange. There's
- 36:22Speaker 4: so much more context later. Yes.
- 36:25Speaker 2: Yes. And it's good that they didn't give it to
- 36:27Speaker 2: us all at once.
- 36:28Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 36:29Speaker 1: Who's talking to Jamal says, I wish I didn't want it,
- 36:33Speaker 1: but I do. And I know I shouldn't mess with
- 36:36Speaker 1: my buddy's last fling, but.
- 36:37Speaker 2: God, look at her. And again, her? Like, we don't
- 36:40Speaker 2: get it.
- 36:41Speaker 3: Also, is a.
- 36:44Speaker 3: Is fucking with someone for a year even casually considered
- 36:49Speaker 3: a fling?
- 36:50Speaker 1: It's a friends with benefits for a year, and she
- 36:56Speaker 1: was hoping she could change Rob, which everybody does, and
- 37:00Speaker 1: it didn't happen. So in the talking head, Kara says,
- 37:05Speaker 1: referring to Jamal, of all the people you're going to
- 37:08Speaker 1: go for, are you going to go for the girl
- 37:10Speaker 1: that your best friend dated?
- 37:11Speaker 4: Oof.
- 37:13Speaker 1: And Emma, she seems like that crazy ex-girlfriend type, like
- 37:15Speaker 1: key your car, bust your.
- 37:16Speaker 2: Windows, that kind of girl.
- 37:18Speaker 3: Yes.
- 37:19Speaker 4: She does.
- 37:19Speaker 3: Spot on.
- 37:22Speaker 1: Talking Head Emma says, Rob had so many chances with me,
- 37:27Speaker 1: and I feel no shame or guilt for going for Jamal.
- 37:31Speaker 2: You know, I want to find somebody to love me
- 37:33Speaker 2: back like I deserve. Yeah, we know. We've seen it.
- 37:36Speaker 4: But it also sounds like you're going for Jamal to
- 37:38Speaker 4: piss off Rob or to make him jealous.
- 37:41Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 37:42Speaker 1: I never looked at him that way until I banged
- 37:44Speaker 1: him two nights ago. And then I thought, he's cute.
- 37:47Speaker 1: So Rosvan gives Emma his necklace. And she goes, oh, cute.
- 37:52Speaker 2: Do you like me? And he goes, I do.
- 37:56Speaker 1: And he goes, but I'm wondering, I have a question
- 37:57Speaker 1: for you. Why Jamal? She goes, oh, so you're like jealous?
- 38:03Speaker 1: So Kara and Jamal talk. And Kara says, really? She says,
- 38:08Speaker 1: you're going to dip dick into somebody who's been with Robb?
- 38:13Speaker 2: I mean, she's not wrong. She's not wrong.
- 38:17Speaker 3: Was that phrase used and I missed it?
- 38:20Speaker 2: Dip.
- 38:21Speaker 3: Dick.
- 38:22Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 38:23Speaker 2: I mean, dip. I don't think she said dip shit.
- 38:26Speaker 2: I think she said dip dick.
- 38:28Speaker 1: Dip dick into someone who's been with Robb. And he goes, oh, man.
- 38:32Speaker 1: And Kara goes, do you like her? Like, you like
- 38:34Speaker 1: her for real, for real? And he goes, well, she
- 38:37Speaker 1: said she hadn't talked to Rob in a month. Like,
- 38:39Speaker 1: she doesn't care about the Rob thing. And Kara goes, well,
- 38:41Speaker 1: that speaks to her character a lot. And I got
- 38:44Speaker 1: to be honest, it speaks to yours, too.
- 38:46Speaker 3: Yes.
- 38:47Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 38:48Speaker 4: And this is part of why we like Kara is
- 38:50Speaker 4: how she calls out people right to their faces.
- 38:53Speaker 3: But in a way that, like.
- 38:55Speaker 2: It's kind of like funny, like your friend.
- 38:57Speaker 3: It's kind of funny.
- 38:58Speaker 4: It's like your friend, but you're not going to be
- 39:00Speaker 4: one of those friends who's like, I'll support you no
- 39:02Speaker 4: matter what.
- 39:03Speaker 3: You're always right. That kind of friend. She's like, no,
- 39:06Speaker 3: I will tell you when you're making a fool of yourself. Yeah, totally.
- 39:10Speaker 1: So the talking head, Jamal, says she's not wrong. And,
- 39:13Speaker 1: you know, that's what a good friend does, calls you out.
- 39:16Speaker 1: And so, God, now I'm second guessing it. And like,
- 39:18Speaker 1: I don't know if Emma is worth losing a friend over.
- 39:21Speaker 2: And I might. Well, and you do. And I might
- 39:24Speaker 2: need to rethink this. Too late. So then we see.
- 39:26Speaker 1: Erica and Jamal are talking. And he says, I got
- 39:31Speaker 1: to go get my necklace back. I got to give
- 39:33Speaker 1: it to you, to Erica. And she goes, you're going
- 39:35Speaker 1: to go do that? And she goes, well, if you
- 39:37Speaker 1: do that, I'll go get mine back from Razvan.
- 39:40Speaker 3: Oh, my God. Again, these necklaces do not mean you're betrothed.
- 39:44Speaker 3: To someone.
- 39:45Speaker 4: Like, is it worth embarrassing someone and humiliating them by
- 39:49Speaker 4: taking your necklace back?
- 39:51Speaker 1: So the two of them, Jamal and Erica, walk over
- 39:54Speaker 1: to Emma and Rosalyn and give them their necklaces back
- 39:57Speaker 1: and say that they're better suited for each other.
- 39:59Speaker 2: And then the talking head, Emma, goes, I was like,
- 40:03Speaker 2: I'm a god. Like, I want to throw her off
- 40:05Speaker 2: a cliff. Like, bitch, who are you? Like, I want
- 40:07Speaker 2: you to kill them.
- 40:08Speaker 3: My- Okay.
- 40:11Speaker 4: Okay.
- 40:12Speaker 2: And that's where my notes end. So I hope yours
- 40:15Speaker 2: pick up right there.
- 40:16Speaker 4: It's like giving someone a friendship bracelet on the playground
- 40:19Speaker 4: and then being like, no, I don't think we're friends anymore.
- 40:22Speaker 2: I'm going to take it back.
- 40:23Speaker 3: I'm going to take it back. So....
- 40:27Speaker 4: Basically, Emma is like, Jamal, that was so rude. And
- 40:33Speaker 4: Erica tries to pull Jamal away. And Emma's like, we're talking.
- 40:37Speaker 4: You don't even know him. And Jamal says, Emma, we
- 40:40Speaker 4: should talk later. And he walks away. And Emma says,
- 40:43Speaker 4: I'm not going to let him disrespect me over a
- 40:46Speaker 4: girl he hardly knows. And Rosamund says, why are you
- 40:51Speaker 4: starting a fight over him?
- 40:53Speaker 3: And it turns me off that you're acting this way.
- 40:56Speaker 3: So now he's over her.
- 40:58Speaker 4: So Chloe, meanwhile, and this dude are gossiping like the
- 41:01Speaker 4: whole time.
- 41:02Speaker 3: And she's like, they need to grow up.
- 41:04Speaker 4: And then she's like, but also it's really annoying that
- 41:07Speaker 4: everyone is getting a necklace before me.
- 41:08Speaker 3: And I don't love that for me.
- 41:10Speaker 4: And so she's like, there's Brian, a retired NFL player.
- 41:17Speaker 4: And she's like, retired NFL player, don't knock it till
- 41:20Speaker 4: you've tried it. I guess she's saying like dating and
- 41:23Speaker 4: retired NFL player. And he says he thinks she's beautiful
- 41:27Speaker 4: and he gives her his necklace. But she's excited, but
- 41:32Speaker 4: she's also into the cowboy dorky dancer Landon because she
- 41:36Speaker 4: loves that. I love how cowboys say howdy and they
- 41:39Speaker 4: walk like this and she does an impression. And it
- 41:44Speaker 4: was she seems fascinated by cowboys. And she compliments Landon's hat.
- 41:50Speaker 4: And she says, what is your type? And he says,
- 41:54Speaker 4: imagine like looking in a mirror. And she's like, yourself?
- 42:00Speaker 3: And she goes, no, no, you're funny.
- 42:02Speaker 4: I meant like you're looking in a mirror and that's
- 42:05Speaker 4: my type. And then he gives her a necklace. So
- 42:08Speaker 4: now within five seconds, she has two necklaces.
- 42:10Speaker 2: Yeah, that's what she came here for.
- 42:12Speaker 3: Yes. Yes.
- 42:13Speaker 4: So then Emma walks up and sees that Chloe has
- 42:16Speaker 4: gotten two necklaces. And they're joking that she and Landon
- 42:22Speaker 4: and Brian are in a thruple. And that was kind
- 42:25Speaker 4: of funny because Brian is also kind of there. And
- 42:27Speaker 4: they don't seem like that jealous that they both gave
- 42:30Speaker 4: Chloe a necklace.
- 42:31Speaker 3: So they're all joking that they're in a thruple.
- 42:33Speaker 1: They're understanding that they don't have to marry the person.
- 42:36Speaker 3: Exactly.
- 42:36Speaker 4: But it's just fun to get to know people. It's
- 42:40Speaker 4: like an icebreaker party game. And then Jamal, they might have.
- 42:43Speaker 3: To go on a date with the person later, but like,
- 42:46Speaker 3: That's fine.
- 42:47Speaker 4: So Jamal comes up to ask to talk to Emma
- 42:50Speaker 4: and he says, look, you were talking to Rosvin and
- 42:53Speaker 4: she's like, yeah.
- 42:54Speaker 3: And you had that girl come and take my necklace back.
- 42:57Speaker 3: And he says, it's day one. You're acting crazy. And
- 43:01Speaker 3: she says, no, I'm not. And proceeds to start crying.
- 43:06Speaker 2: And walk off.
- 43:09Speaker 4: Which is a great way to show everyone that you're
- 43:11Speaker 4: not crazy on night one.
- 43:14Speaker 3: And Kara says, she's coming off as a psycho. And true.
- 43:20Speaker 4: So, Rosvin follows Emma. You think to comfort her.
- 43:25Speaker 3: But no, no. He says, just give me back my necklace. So,
- 43:31Speaker 3: now she's gotten.
- 43:32Speaker 4: In the span of five minutes, Chloe's gotten two necklaces.
- 43:36Speaker 4: Emma's gotten two necklaces taken away from her. And he says,
- 43:41Speaker 4: you're just fake. Rosvin says that. And because he's mad
- 43:44Speaker 4: about the whole Jamal thing. And he says, I think
- 43:47Speaker 4: she was using Jamal to make me jealous.
- 43:50Speaker 3: And I'm pissed off. So meanwhile, Emma cries. And she's like,
- 43:56Speaker 3: I've had two guys give me a necklace and take
- 44:00Speaker 3: them back.
- 44:03Speaker 4: It's like every time this happens to me, nobody wants me.
- 44:09Speaker 3: I don't know what I'm doing wrong. So much. You're
- 44:13Speaker 3: doing so much wrong. So Iris and Michael trade necklaces.
- 44:19Speaker 4: Michael. And I was so proud of him. They're kind
- 44:23Speaker 4: of like in friend zone, like kind of flirting, but
- 44:25Speaker 4: kind of friends. And I felt like it was a
- 44:27Speaker 4: little bit like it's almost lights off, lights up call time.
- 44:31Speaker 4: Like you don't have to go home, but you can't
- 44:33Speaker 4: stay here. And they were like, we need to get
- 44:35Speaker 4: rid of our necklaces. And we've been chatting and having
- 44:37Speaker 4: good rapport. So let's change exchange necklaces. So he is
- 44:42Speaker 4: into Iris and Oak. Stephen says, I thought Michael was
- 44:47Speaker 4: into more mature women, like with more wrinkles.
- 44:52Speaker 2: Stephen, come on.
- 44:54Speaker 4: But Stephen is into Iris and very proud of him.
- 44:58Speaker 4: He goes up and talks to her while Michael is
- 45:01Speaker 4: standing there and gives her his necklace. And Michael is like,
- 45:06Speaker 4: what the hell? Stephen's a snake. The game begins.
- 45:09Speaker 3: Oh, wow.
- 45:10Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 45:11Speaker 3: Oh, boy.
- 45:12Speaker 4: Okay. So, and again, Michael has survived living with Angela.
- 45:15Speaker 4: So he's probably learned a lot about deceit, treachery, manipulation, gaslighting, violence,
- 45:22Speaker 4: meth strength, menopause strength, stuffing things in your bra strength. Yeah.
- 45:27Speaker 1: Um, I was going to say hand-to-hand combat, yeah.
- 45:30Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 45:31Speaker 4: So meanwhile, Emma is still crying, and she goes to
- 45:35Speaker 4: get a hug from Chloe, who is being very nice
- 45:38Speaker 4: to her, but is, I feel like, going to regret
- 45:42Speaker 4: this sort of friendship with Emma, because it's that sort
- 45:45Speaker 4: of friendship, because it's only an online friendship so far,
- 45:49Speaker 4: and now she's seeing the drama unfold night one, in person.
- 45:55Speaker 4: And now you're sort of saddled with this girl who
- 45:58Speaker 4: now everyone thinks is your best friend.
- 46:00Speaker 3: And that could be a mistake.
- 46:02Speaker 4: So Chloe does think that the guys taking their necklaces
- 46:06Speaker 4: back was super slimy, which it was. It was super
- 46:09Speaker 4: tacky and horrible. And she goes, I mean, Jamal's cute,
- 46:12Speaker 4: but he's not Timothee Chalamet.
- 46:15Speaker 3: So true. Why is he acting like that?
- 46:19Speaker 1: So I don't know if Timothee Chalamet is our barometer,
- 46:22Speaker 1: but I know apparently maybe for that age, it is
- 46:25Speaker 1: skinny French guys, I guess.
- 46:27Speaker 3: So, I mean, I do love a skinny pale guy.
- 46:30Speaker 4: So the coaches explain, because there seems to be some
- 46:34Speaker 4: confusion that the necklaces don't guarantee anything.
- 46:37Speaker 3: You aren't committed to marry this person.
- 46:40Speaker 4: And Emma goes, what does it mean when two guys
- 46:43Speaker 4: give you necklaces and then take them back?
- 46:47Speaker 2: Yeah. She's so crazy.
- 46:51Speaker 4: In front of everyone, she asked the coaches this and
- 46:53Speaker 4: the coaches go, well, how do you feel about that?
- 46:56Speaker 3: And she says, I don't know yet. And the coaches say,
- 47:00Speaker 3: maybe they don't know either. Maybe they're confused too.
- 47:04Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 47:04Speaker 3: By your hair.
- 47:05Speaker 2: Maybe the necklaces were a bad idea.
- 47:07Speaker 4: Yeah, maybe this whole thing, maybe there's a reason we
- 47:10Speaker 4: didn't do this in season one. So the coach says
- 47:14Speaker 4: she's happy to hear what happened with the necklaces, though,
- 47:17Speaker 4: not because it makes good TV and it embarrassed Emma,
- 47:20Speaker 4: but because it means that people are taking the necklaces
- 47:23Speaker 4: seriously and that the fact that people took them back
- 47:27Speaker 4: was like, oh, they're putting a lot of thought into this.
- 47:30Speaker 2: Too much.
- 47:31Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 47:31Speaker 2: Too much.
- 47:32Speaker 4: She says this, perhaps they're taking it even more seriously
- 47:35Speaker 4: than was anticipated by us, the coaches who.
- 47:39Speaker 3: Came up with this dumb game.
- 47:40Speaker 4: So Brian tells Emma, you're okay because men love a
- 47:46Speaker 4: broken bird and she's been crying. Yes. she's upset and
- 47:51Speaker 4: Brian seems to be one of those guys. So he
- 47:54Speaker 4: likes her already. So Michael walks Iris back to her room.
- 47:58Speaker 4: The night is dwindling down and he tells her he
- 48:01Speaker 4: just got divorced and she thinks that's a little scary that.
- 48:05Speaker 3: It's been so soon.
- 48:06Speaker 4: But she doesn't realize he's like been in hiding for
- 48:09Speaker 4: several years.
- 48:09Speaker 2: Two years.
- 48:11Speaker 4: To get over Angela. So it's not like he's just
- 48:14Speaker 4: out of a relationship. So she thinks it's a little scary.
- 48:18Speaker 4: And he says, I like you.
- 48:20Speaker 3: But he feels like she's like might be friend zoning him.
- 48:24Speaker 3: So she's like. So he says, don't worry.
- 48:26Speaker 4: We can keep our options open because he doesn't want
- 48:29Speaker 4: to scare her off because she just said that's kind
- 48:31Speaker 4: of scary that.
- 48:32Speaker 3: You just got out of a divorce.
- 48:35Speaker 4: And so she tells us, I thought he was cute,
- 48:38Speaker 4: but it sounds like he's keeping his options open. So
- 48:41Speaker 4: it's like classic miscommunication that they're having. So she hugs
- 48:46Speaker 4: him goodnight. He asks for a peck. And she says,
- 48:49Speaker 4: maybe later you want to keep your options open. And
- 48:54Speaker 4: she says, it'll be worth waiting for. Bye.
- 48:56Speaker 3: And she closes the door in his face.
- 48:58Speaker 4: And he says, it's embarrassing getting shot down. Even more
- 49:02Speaker 4: embarrassing than having sex with Angela on TV. So I
- 49:07Speaker 4: know embarrassing. And having her rip apart my car in
- 49:12Speaker 4: the middle of my small village.
- 49:14Speaker 2: Bare hands.
- 49:14Speaker 3: Bare hands. Ripped apart a car. Bare hands. Menopause strength.
- 49:18Speaker 3: So he says... being single is tough. It's a job.
- 49:22Speaker 3: But so is being married to Angela. So he'll figure
- 49:25Speaker 3: it out.
- 49:26Speaker 4: So Landon walks Chloe back. Landon's the cowboy. And they're
- 49:31Speaker 4: talking about critters. He's like, oh, you don't like critters?
- 49:34Speaker 4: And she says, I hate that word. That's on my phone,
- 49:36Speaker 4: on my list of ick things. She has an actual
- 49:39Speaker 4: list on her phone of ick things, which are- And
- 49:44Speaker 4: the word critters is on there? How many times have
- 49:47Speaker 4: you encountered critters that it would wind up on your list?
- 49:51Speaker 3: You live in Boston.
- 49:52Speaker 2: Exactly.
- 49:53Speaker 1: The people would say that word that you would be like, okay,
- 49:57Speaker 1: that word's on my list.
- 49:58Speaker 3: Okay. Yeah. So on the list are posting selfies.
- 50:02Speaker 2: Okay.
- 50:04Speaker 3: I kind of agree, but it is of her generation
- 50:07Speaker 3: to post selfies. Like she is extremely young. She should
- 50:11Speaker 3: be into that, but I love and respect that she's not.
- 50:14Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 50:15Speaker 3: Ordering cute coffees. Disgusting. She would hate me and my Frappuccino's.
- 50:21Speaker 1: But no, for a man, she thinks it's not cute
- 50:24Speaker 1: for a man to be like, I need a skinny
- 50:27Speaker 1: vanilla latte.
- 50:28Speaker 4: That's why, because she likes cowboys who order like black
- 50:31Speaker 4: coffee or something.
- 50:32Speaker 3: Or pirates, yeah. Yawning, no. She would hate Mary Payne.
- 50:38Speaker 2: Weird suitcases.
- 50:43Speaker 3: I don't even know what that means.
- 50:47Speaker 1: She thinks you should have a masculine appropriate suitcase.
- 50:51Speaker 4: So like no weird flowery color or a pattern or something.
- 50:57Speaker 1: Or like a gym bag or one janky wheel.
- 51:02Speaker 3: Weird suitcases. A nasty debit card.
- 51:08Speaker 1: Is it just because it's been used so much that
- 51:10Speaker 1: it looks not fresh?
- 51:12Speaker 3: I don't know. Yeah, like it's scratched up or still
- 51:14Speaker 3: has the sticker on it. Called 1-800? Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 51:20Speaker 3: A weird water jug at the gym.
- 51:22Speaker 4: Like you're working out and you have a girlfriend's like
- 51:25Speaker 4: water bottle that's pink or something.
- 51:27Speaker 3: No. Two in one soaps. Posting mob quotes. And the
- 51:36Speaker 3: producer goes, well, like Scarface. And she's like, yes, I
- 51:39Speaker 3: hate that.
- 51:41Speaker 2: Hilarious.
- 51:42Speaker 4: Which is very funny because that's like a college guy
- 51:45Speaker 4: thing to have like those posters up in your dorm
- 51:49Speaker 4: room of Scarface or something dumb like The Godfather.
- 51:52Speaker 3: But they've seen the movie once.
- 51:54Speaker 2: I guess.
- 51:56Speaker 4: I knew way too many guys who had Scarface posters.
- 51:59Speaker 2: In their room. Okay, no. I never knew anybody that
- 52:03Speaker 2: had that. Just like the dead posters.
- 52:08Speaker 4: So Landon asked to kiss her on the cheek at
- 52:11Speaker 4: her room. And it's very cute. And I thought it
- 52:15Speaker 4: was going well, but to her, it went horribly. She goes, okay,
- 52:19Speaker 4: which side do you want to like kiss my left
- 52:21Speaker 4: cheek or my right cheek?
- 52:22Speaker 3: And he says left.
- 52:24Speaker 4: And he goes for her cheek, which is her right
- 52:26Speaker 4: cheek because it's his left.
- 52:29Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 52:30Speaker 4: And she goes, you don't know your left from your right.
- 52:34Speaker 4: And she says, now I have another ick to add
- 52:36Speaker 4: to my list. Doesn't know left from right. And she says,
- 52:41Speaker 4: I just don't want to, she tells us, I just
- 52:43Speaker 4: don't want to put things aside that would bother me
- 52:46Speaker 4: long term. Like someone not knowing their left from their right. Again,
- 52:50Speaker 4: it was inverted for him. He's not an aerobics instructor
- 52:55Speaker 4: that can't perform perfectly.
- 52:59Speaker 2: In the mirror, backwards.
- 53:00Speaker 3: Everything in the mirror.
- 53:01Speaker 4: Yeah. Yeah.
- 53:03Speaker 2: Yeah, she's going to have to get over all that,
- 53:04Speaker 2: but she's 24, so yeah.
- 53:06Speaker 3: Yeah, but I do find her very funny. I do too.
- 53:09Speaker 2: Hilarious.
- 53:09Speaker 3: I think she's hilarious.
- 53:11Speaker 4: So we're seeing everyone's spy cameras in their room, and
- 53:15Speaker 4: they're puttering around and talking to themselves, and it's dark
- 53:18Speaker 4: out in the middle of the night. Jamal calls Emma
- 53:21Speaker 4: and says, like, everyone's asking why you're so upset. Well,
- 53:25Speaker 4: two guys took their necklaces back. So she says, well,
- 53:28Speaker 4: you came up to me with that girl and you were.
- 53:31Speaker 3: Trying to push my buttons. And I don't know how I.
- 53:35Speaker 4: Feel about you because the Rob situation is messy. And
- 53:41Speaker 4: he says, I think we need to explore other options here.
- 53:44Speaker 4: So like tomorrow, I think we need to just like
- 53:47Speaker 4: talk to other people. And.
- 53:49Speaker 3: She tells us, I.
- 53:50Speaker 4: Saw so much potential in Jamal ever since I saw
- 53:55Speaker 4: him two hours ago and never thought about him this way.
- 54:00Speaker 3: But then I did.
- 54:01Speaker 4: And this always happens to me. And I just want
- 54:04Speaker 4: love so bad. You want it too bad, girl. That's
- 54:10Speaker 4: the problem. You read as desperado. So stop. So the
- 54:15Speaker 4: next morning, Emma and Chloe are together in the kitchen.
- 54:19Speaker 4: And it was unclear if they're all staying together or
- 54:21Speaker 4: if they are sharing a kitchen. Unsure. But Chloe is
- 54:25Speaker 4: going to cook eggs and freaks out about the gas stove,
- 54:28Speaker 4: which is a callback. Because remember, she freaked out about
- 54:31Speaker 4: the stove at Johnny's place. And Emma goes, I think
- 54:36Speaker 4: this is how you do it. I feel like seen
- 54:38Speaker 4: it in the movies.
- 54:41Speaker 3: She says no.
- 54:43Speaker 2: Okay, here's the problem.
- 54:44Speaker 3: I've like seen it in the movies.
- 54:46Speaker 1: You do it and you click it and it's supposed
- 54:49Speaker 1: to eventually catch and pop on. But I think with
- 54:52Speaker 1: like Johnny's stove, like you would do it and click
- 54:54Speaker 1: it and you had to almost like stick a match.
- 54:56Speaker 3: Light it with a match.
- 54:57Speaker 4: Yes.
- 54:58Speaker 2: And it is scary. It is scary.
- 54:59Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 55:00Speaker 2: Yeah, but it is a callback.
- 55:02Speaker 4: This is supposed to start by itself. But Emma saying
- 55:05Speaker 4: that she only knows how to do it because she's
- 55:07Speaker 4: seen it in the movies was pretty funny. And then
- 55:10Speaker 4: so Emma goes outside and Brian is there with two
- 55:14Speaker 4: other people.
- 55:14Speaker 3: And she's like, can you help us?
- 55:17Speaker 4: I'm so sorry to be annoying, but we need a
- 55:20Speaker 4: man's help. Because I'm just a little girl. I need
- 55:26Speaker 4: a big, strong man to help me. She literally says,
- 55:28Speaker 4: we need a man's help. Um, so Richie is one
- 55:32Speaker 4: of the other people there and he's like, how do
- 55:35Speaker 4: they not know how to do that?
- 55:36Speaker 3: They don't know.
- 55:37Speaker 4: And Haley is the girl and she goes, is that
- 55:39Speaker 4: real or not? Are they just faking? Does she like Brian?
- 55:43Speaker 2: Are they stupid?
- 55:44Speaker 4: Yeah. Are they trying to, yeah. Are they being, are
- 55:46Speaker 4: they actually the stupid or are they trying to get
- 55:48Speaker 4: Brian's attention? Is she trying to make Jamal gels with Brian?
- 55:52Speaker 4: So they start spying through the window and watch what's
- 55:54Speaker 4: happening in the kitchen. But it turns out the stove
- 55:57Speaker 4: is actually broken. Or according to Brian, it does not work.
- 56:02Speaker 4: And Chloe says, maybe I could stand the socks and
- 56:06Speaker 4: sandals that Brian is wearing because he has muscles and
- 56:08Speaker 4: he's trying to help in the kitchen.
- 56:10Speaker 2: So I could get past that.
- 56:12Speaker 3: And she's like, that's growth. Good for you.
- 56:15Speaker 4: He probably maybe knows his right from his left because
- 56:18Speaker 4: of the football plays. So Emma says she's going to
- 56:22Speaker 4: cook the eggs in the microwave. And her nails are so.
- 56:26Speaker 3: long. She's like this.
- 56:28Speaker 4: I can't crack the nail. I'm gonna, the egg, like
- 56:32Speaker 4: the shell. These long nails that are like Nutella nails.
- 56:38Speaker 4: And it's just, there's shell getting in the egg and
- 56:43Speaker 4: they're all just laughing. And she's like, Brian says, how
- 56:46Speaker 4: long are you going to cook them in the microwave?
- 56:48Speaker 4: She goes, I'm going to guess like three minutes. So
- 56:52Speaker 4: She cooks them, and they actually cook, but they are gross, apparently.
- 56:57Speaker 4: That's not how you cook eggs in the microwave, but okay.
- 57:01Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 57:02Speaker 2: But you can't cook them in the microwave.
- 57:03Speaker 3: They're just cooked in a bowl.
- 57:06Speaker 1: But you have to whip them, and you've got to
- 57:08Speaker 1: put some milk in there.
- 57:11Speaker 3: Yeah, water or something.
- 57:13Speaker 2: Something.
- 57:14Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 57:15Speaker 4: So Brian says he likes both Chloe and Emma, but
- 57:18Speaker 4: he can't believe they don't know how to cook. And
- 57:20Speaker 4: he's a big boy with big muscles, so he's going
- 57:24Speaker 4: to need someone to know how to cook eggs. Or
- 57:27Speaker 4: maybe he already knows, and that's why he knows that
- 57:29Speaker 4: the stove is broken.
- 57:31Speaker 2: Chloe knows.
- 57:32Speaker 4: How?
- 57:32Speaker 1: She said she's a 9 out of 10 now with
- 57:34Speaker 1: her cooking, but the stove didn't work.
- 57:35Speaker 2: It's not her fault.
- 57:37Speaker 4: Yeah. So, um, Chloe tells, um, Emma that Landon kissed
- 57:42Speaker 4: her on the cheek and, and Emma's like, oh my God,
- 57:45Speaker 4: that's a cure. That's so romantic. And Chloe goes, I'm
- 57:50Speaker 4: going to be sick. It's disgusting. And, and Emma's like,
- 57:55Speaker 4: I would love that. No guy has ever walked me
- 57:58Speaker 4: to my door before.
- 58:02Speaker 3: Who the fuck are you? Have you been dating? Well,
- 58:07Speaker 3: first of all, she dates guys.
- 58:08Speaker 2: That live in other countries.
- 58:09Speaker 1: She still has a hotel door.
- 58:12Speaker 2: That's true.
- 58:16Speaker 3: But she's usually sleeping with them.
- 58:18Speaker 2: She goes to where they are.
- 58:19Speaker 1: She goes to Rob's garage apartment or.
- 58:23Speaker 3: Wherever he lives.
- 58:24Speaker 4: How has she never had a guy walk her to
- 58:27Speaker 4: her door, ever, in all the dating she does?
- 58:30Speaker 1: Because they slow the car down and push her out.
- 58:34Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 58:34Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 58:36Speaker 2: That's a terrible thing to say.
- 58:37Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 58:38Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 58:39Speaker 3: So that's just sad. Like raise your standards, ladies.
- 58:43Speaker 4: So, um, so no guys ever walked me into my
- 58:47Speaker 4: door and Chloe says, I can't even stomach this being courted.
- 58:51Speaker 4: Like we're in poodle skirts.
- 58:53Speaker 3: I can't.
- 58:54Speaker 4: So I out with the cowboy and in with the
- 58:57Speaker 4: retired NFL player.
- 58:58Speaker 3: So good.
- 59:00Speaker 4: Cause she thought it was disgusting that, That he walked
- 59:03Speaker 4: into her door and tried to kiss her on the cheek.
- 59:06Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 59:07Speaker 1: Well, I think she just wished that he would have
- 59:08Speaker 1: just leaned in and kissed her on the cheek.
- 59:10Speaker 4: Yeah i think she doesn't like any sort of sweet
- 59:14Speaker 4: romantic 50s style romance holding hands gross yeah let's get
- 59:20Speaker 4: drunk at a bar and bang it out bang it
- 59:23Speaker 4: out yeah So everyone goes to this workshop the next
- 59:26Speaker 4: day focused or half the people go focused on second impressions,
- 59:30Speaker 4: which is like how to fix a horrible first impression.
- 59:33Speaker 4: And Brittany goes up first. She calls up Ray and
- 59:37Speaker 4: Steven and sorry, Rosvin.
- 59:39Speaker 3: It's auto-corrected. And Steven Ray. And he sounds hot.
- 59:44Speaker 4: And so she thinks she gave away her necklace, possibly
- 59:47Speaker 4: to a straight girl, and she had no patience. And
- 59:51Speaker 4: so she wants to try again. So she thinks Roz
- 59:54Speaker 4: has muscles and Stephen has a mysterious energy.
- 59:57Speaker 2: Okay.
- 59:58Speaker 3: I didn't go that far. He does brood.
- 1:00:01Speaker 4: He does seem like he broods a lot. But that
- 1:00:05Speaker 4: doesn't necessarily mean good, mysterious. That could just mean boring
- 1:00:09Speaker 4: or angry.
- 1:00:10Speaker 2: Mm-hmm.
- 1:00:13Speaker 4: So she pretends to grab Stephen. They're like, act like
- 1:00:15Speaker 4: what you would do in a bar. She grabs him
- 1:00:17Speaker 4: and they start dancing, like fast dancing.
- 1:00:19Speaker 3: And it's awkward.
- 1:00:20Speaker 2: Yeah, because we can't hear the music. There's no music.
- 1:00:24Speaker 4: It's just they're doing a role play and it doesn't work.
- 1:00:27Speaker 3: And Stephen's embarrassed.
- 1:00:28Speaker 4: And Rosvin says what he would do if they were
- 1:00:32Speaker 4: at a bar, he would lean in way too close,
- 1:00:35Speaker 4: uncomfortably close to her, look into her eyes, and then
- 1:00:38Speaker 4: ask her to slow dance. And then they start grinding
- 1:00:41Speaker 4: it out on the dance floor inside. That they're doing
- 1:00:43Speaker 4: in front of the whole class.
- 1:00:46Speaker 3: As a role play. And Steven is standing off to
- 1:00:48Speaker 3: the side. Third wheeling it.
- 1:00:52Speaker 4: He can't handle Brittany. In the sim chair. No he
- 1:00:55Speaker 4: could never. And he's like they're being so romantic. My
- 1:00:59Speaker 4: flirting skills are like a two. And Jamal even goes.
- 1:01:02Speaker 4: Steven you might want to sit down dog.
- 1:01:04Speaker 3: You might want to take your seat again. And so
- 1:01:09Speaker 3: Chloe says. I feel like they're about to have sex.
- 1:01:11Speaker 3: In front of us. This is awkward. I feel like
- 1:01:15Speaker 3: Rosvin would be so boring in sex. Like, I wouldn't
- 1:01:18Speaker 3: even want to watch. Brittany, she would do her thing.
- 1:01:21Speaker 3: I would watch that.
- 1:01:23Speaker 2: She's right.
- 1:01:24Speaker 3: So, Rosvin.
- 1:01:26Speaker 4: likes Brittany, but he also likes Emma still for some reason,
- 1:01:31Speaker 4: even though he called her fake and asked for her,
- 1:01:34Speaker 4: his necklace back, the necklace back.
- 1:01:35Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:01:36Speaker 4: So Chloe says the, at the tells the, like the
- 1:01:40Speaker 4: workshop group, I've been told that I give off mean
- 1:01:42Speaker 4: girl vibes and we see this flashback and Roslyn says, yeah,
- 1:01:46Speaker 4: I got that. I, we were talking last night. And, um,
- 1:01:50Speaker 4: so we see this flashback of them at the first
- 1:01:52Speaker 4: night and, um, she tells him that her Zodiac sign
- 1:01:55Speaker 4: is Gemini. And she's like, I think that means I'm
- 1:01:57Speaker 4: two face, which I am. And he didn't like that. So, um,
- 1:02:02Speaker 4: Rosvin says you're smart and beautiful, but you're bitchy. And,
- 1:02:06Speaker 4: and everyone's like, oh, and she's like, I am bitchy.
- 1:02:09Speaker 4: And he's like, yeah, your face is bitchy. And, um,
- 1:02:13Speaker 4: it looks like she could cut you. And which is funny.
- 1:02:16Speaker 4: Cause I don't feel like she really has a RBF
- 1:02:19Speaker 4: that strong. I don't either.
- 1:02:20Speaker 2: I think she comes across as like a little cheerleader,
- 1:02:22Speaker 2: you know?
- 1:02:22Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:02:23Speaker 4: So everyone is laughing and Haley stands up for her
- 1:02:27Speaker 4: and says, I think she's just witty and funny and
- 1:02:30Speaker 4: that can come across as bitchy, but she's just being sarcastic.
- 1:02:34Speaker 4: And Chloe says, has to get up and try to
- 1:02:37Speaker 4: make a second connection with someone.
- 1:02:39Speaker 3: And so she says she likes a challenge.
- 1:02:42Speaker 4: So she picks Rosvin, even though she's mad because he
- 1:02:45Speaker 4: said bitchy. So they start arguing about if she's bitchy
- 1:02:48Speaker 4: because of her face and body language. And he asks,
- 1:02:51Speaker 4: what did your last boyfriend think about you? And she says,
- 1:02:54Speaker 4: he thought I was insane. And he goes, but did
- 1:02:57Speaker 4: he think you were mean? And she says, yes. And
- 1:02:59Speaker 4: he goes, there you go. So we're taking the boyfriend
- 1:03:04Speaker 4: that you know nothing about.
- 1:03:05Speaker 2: Right.
- 1:03:06Speaker 3: We're taking his word for it.
- 1:03:08Speaker 4: Right. She's like, let me tell you a life story.
- 1:03:11Speaker 4: I don't care if you're interested or not.
- 1:03:12Speaker 3: Sit back.
- 1:03:13Speaker 4: I'm going to tell you. I moved to an island
- 1:03:15Speaker 4: to be with a pirate who was a serial cheater.
- 1:03:18Speaker 3: And that's why I'm insane. And he drove me to me.
- 1:03:23Speaker 4: And so he and he goes, she goes, and actually
- 1:03:26Speaker 4: you're kind of dressed like a pirate right now with
- 1:03:28Speaker 4: what you're wearing because he has like a headscarf on
- 1:03:30Speaker 4: and he laughs. He thinks it's funny. And everyone's like, oh,
- 1:03:34Speaker 4: you got a laugh out of him. You did make
- 1:03:36Speaker 4: a good second impression. And so they hug it out.
- 1:03:38Speaker 4: And she's like, I would never date Rosvin. But it
- 1:03:41Speaker 4: was actually a good, successful workshop because I made him laugh.
- 1:03:45Speaker 4: And I taught everyone that I might just look bitchy,
- 1:03:49Speaker 4: but I'm not.
- 1:03:51Speaker 3: And it was a good stepping stool for me.
- 1:03:55Speaker 2: She's used to being on stepping stools because she's 4'11. Exactly.
- 1:03:57Speaker 3: Exactly.
- 1:03:58Speaker 4: So the coach asked who had an unfavorable first impression
- 1:04:01Speaker 4: of Jamal. Chloe raises her hand. He asked for a
- 1:04:04Speaker 4: second impression to try with Erica. And he says, I
- 1:04:08Speaker 4: feel like I made a bad impression with you because
- 1:04:10Speaker 4: I put you in an uncomfortable situation with Wiggy over there.
- 1:04:15Speaker 4: And she's at the pool. But that's not who I am.
- 1:04:20Speaker 4: I am impulsive and I need to be more mindful
- 1:04:22Speaker 4: of people. And I'm actually a really nice guy. And
- 1:04:25Speaker 4: I really care about my family. And I took care
- 1:04:28Speaker 4: of my grandma until she died. And I moved to
- 1:04:30Speaker 4: take care of my mom. And I just want to
- 1:04:32Speaker 4: be a better person, be a better lover. Hate that.
- 1:04:35Speaker 2: When he said that, I was like, lover? Don't say lover.
- 1:04:40Speaker 4: Also, again, I feel like he leaves the wake of
- 1:04:44Speaker 4: disappointed or angry girls in his life. wake and it's
- 1:04:50Speaker 4: a wake of wakes and but he still thinks he's
- 1:04:53Speaker 4: a good guy and like that pissed me off he's
- 1:04:56Speaker 4: this new breed of guys that like acts like such
- 1:04:59Speaker 4: a nice sensitive guy and he might be like with
- 1:05:03Speaker 4: his mom and his family but he doesn't treat maybe
- 1:05:06Speaker 4: women that way so.
- 1:05:09Speaker 2: Well we'll see we'll see how this goes but I'm.
- 1:05:11Speaker 4: Still mad about how he talked to Tim yes he
- 1:05:16Speaker 4: told Tim he was a bad dad.
- 1:05:19Speaker 2: Right. I forgot about that.
- 1:05:21Speaker 3: That wasn't cool.
- 1:05:23Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:05:23Speaker 3: But I still really like Jamal. I'm rooting for him.
- 1:05:26Speaker 4: I hope he does grow and change and frontal lobe
- 1:05:29Speaker 4: gets developed and he does become not an F-boy.
- 1:05:32Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean, he does eventually dump Rob as a friend,
- 1:05:34Speaker 2: and that's a good thing.
- 1:05:35Speaker 3: I think that was an upgrade. Great choice. Rob is
- 1:05:39Speaker 3: a woman-hating guy. douchebag.
- 1:05:41Speaker 4: So I just wouldn't have chosen Emma to be the
- 1:05:44Speaker 4: getaway car that I would have chosen.
- 1:05:47Speaker 2: To get away from Rob and the bad boys.
- 1:05:49Speaker 1: I hope he doesn't join back to the bad boys
- 1:05:51Speaker 1: since we think he and Emma have broken up. I
- 1:05:54Speaker 1: hope that he doesn't rejoin the bad boys.
- 1:05:59Speaker 4: So Erica, I mean, the lure of not having to
- 1:06:02Speaker 4: get a real job because you're doing a world tour
- 1:06:06Speaker 4: might be too much to turn down. True. Yeah.
- 1:06:10Speaker 3: So Emma says, or sorry, Erica says.
- 1:06:14Speaker 4: You know, you never know what someone's going on, has
- 1:06:17Speaker 4: going on in their life. Like, I didn't know that
- 1:06:19Speaker 4: your grandma died several years ago and you're crying over
- 1:06:22Speaker 4: it now.
- 1:06:23Speaker 3: And that excuses your behavior last night. Totally.
- 1:06:26Speaker 4: And but the coach is like, yeah, that's true. You
- 1:06:29Speaker 4: never know what someone has going on. But also, if
- 1:06:31Speaker 4: you don't share what's going on, people might get the
- 1:06:34Speaker 4: wrong impression of you.
- 1:06:35Speaker 3: So it's good that you opened up. So Jamal is like.
- 1:06:39Speaker 4: Yeah, I'm just weird and goofy. And then she's like,
- 1:06:41Speaker 4: I'm weird too. And like, he really likes her and
- 1:06:44Speaker 4: his instincts are telling him to stay away from Emma.
- 1:06:47Speaker 3: And he's going to ignore those instincts probably next week.
- 1:06:50Speaker 2: So yeah.
- 1:06:52Speaker 3: And two days ago.
- 1:06:54Speaker 4: So there's also this pool party that you could have
- 1:06:56Speaker 4: gone to instead of the workshop. Kara chose to stare
- 1:07:00Speaker 4: at boys in bathing suits because it's the second day
- 1:07:02Speaker 4: and it's too soon for a workshop. So Emma starts
- 1:07:05Speaker 4: talking to Brian. He's being nice to her because she's
- 1:07:07Speaker 4: the broken bird. And she thinks he's cute but short.
- 1:07:13Speaker 2: She's also like 4'11, so I don't know what the
- 1:07:15Speaker 2: hell she's talking about.
- 1:07:16Speaker 3: Exactly. And I doubt he's that short if he was
- 1:07:20Speaker 3: in the NFL.
- 1:07:21Speaker 1: I think we looked him up in his 5'11. The
- 1:07:24Speaker 1: podcast chat looked him up.
- 1:07:25Speaker 3: He's 5'11.
- 1:07:26Speaker 2: So he's almost six feet tall. So he's in the NFL,
- 1:07:29Speaker 2: so he's doing fine.
- 1:07:30Speaker 4: Yeah. So she's trying to move on from Jamal, who
- 1:07:33Speaker 4: she's suddenly instantly in love with, but.
- 1:07:36Speaker 2: Her heart is- Move on from Jamal.
- 1:07:37Speaker 4: Yeah. Okay.
- 1:07:38Speaker 3: Move on from Jamal.
- 1:07:40Speaker 4: So they're talking about who they're fantasizing about. And before
- 1:07:44Speaker 4: Emma can answer, Kara is like kind of being a
- 1:07:47Speaker 4: mean girl, I have to say it, because she's whispering
- 1:07:49Speaker 4: about Emma right next to Emma in earshot of Emma.
- 1:07:53Speaker 4: And she's like, fantasizing about she that girl's already crashed
- 1:07:56Speaker 4: out she should and we already know who she's fantasizing
- 1:07:59Speaker 4: about she's already crashed out and so emma pulls cara
- 1:08:04Speaker 4: over for a chat and calls her cara.
- 1:08:08Speaker 1: Can i pull you for a chat i was like
- 1:08:09Speaker 1: okay now we're on love island or we're on the
- 1:08:11Speaker 1: real housewives or.
- 1:08:13Speaker 3: A bachelor yeah can i um can.
- 1:08:16Speaker 4: I steal you for a minute cara can i steal
- 1:08:18Speaker 4: you for a minute cara um I was just like,
- 1:08:22Speaker 4: I don't think Kara likes me. But in her talking head,
- 1:08:25Speaker 4: she says Kara. Yeah.
- 1:08:27Speaker 2: So she did it on purpose, I think.
- 1:08:29Speaker 3: So Emma says, look, I know I was crazy last night.
- 1:08:32Speaker 4: And Kara says, yeah, crying on the first night was crazy.
- 1:08:38Speaker 3: And Emma says, well, there's more to it than that.
- 1:08:41Speaker 4: I had told Rob that in secret that I was
- 1:08:45Speaker 4: coming here and he told me in secret that Jamal
- 1:08:49Speaker 4: was coming here. And then Jamal and I talked about
- 1:08:51Speaker 4: how we were both coming here and we were both
- 1:08:53Speaker 4: coming on the same night.
- 1:08:54Speaker 3: So we should get a drink. And then we got
- 1:08:56Speaker 3: really drunk and we hooked up two days ago.
- 1:09:00Speaker 4: Here. So Kara.
- 1:09:02Speaker 3: So they banged.
- 1:09:03Speaker 2: So they banged. That means banged, right?
- 1:09:06Speaker 3: So, yes.
- 1:09:06Speaker 4: So Kara, she thought this would like endear herself to
- 1:09:11Speaker 4: Kara and make Kara understand why she flipped out so
- 1:09:15Speaker 4: much because they had had sex. And that's why she
- 1:09:17Speaker 4: had to flip out over Jamal. which it does.
- 1:09:20Speaker 3: But to Kara, she's like, so you hooked up with
- 1:09:24Speaker 3: his boy. Cause I'm to the streets. You hooked up
- 1:09:27Speaker 3: with his boy and him. That's not very thoughtful.
- 1:09:31Speaker 4: Cause she switches from street to English professor.
- 1:09:35Speaker 3: That's not very thoughtful of you.
- 1:09:38Speaker 4: So cause Kara for her, all that she does is
- 1:09:42Speaker 4: very like, doesn't like that sort of two timing thing.
- 1:09:46Speaker 3: Like, We've seen it before. She thinks it's super gross.
- 1:09:50Speaker 4: And she had said to Jamal, it's gross that she
- 1:09:53Speaker 4: is going after you and it's gross for you to
- 1:09:55Speaker 4: go after her. Yeah.
- 1:09:57Speaker 3: Shows a lot about both of your characters.
- 1:09:59Speaker 4: And so she tells Emma, like, that's not very thoughtful,
- 1:10:02Speaker 4: but Emma rolls right past it.
- 1:10:04Speaker 3: And she's like, I had, it's such a good night.
- 1:10:06Speaker 3: And I had every, I loved every second of it.
- 1:10:09Speaker 4: And she's telling us, look, we, they did it.
- 1:10:13Speaker 3: She enjoyed every second of it. We don't know. Okay.
- 1:10:16Speaker 4: And, um, Jamal is falling for me and he doesn't
- 1:10:20Speaker 4: even know it yet.
- 1:10:22Speaker 3: He's mine, bitches.
- 1:10:26Speaker 4: And we keep cutting back to Jamal and Erica flirting
- 1:10:29Speaker 4: at the workshop. Um, so setting up a real love
- 1:10:33Speaker 4: triangle there. Um, yeah, Jamal, that is so fucked up. Um,
- 1:10:39Speaker 4: and stupid, just it's stupid. And, um, Emma, we probably
- 1:10:45Speaker 4: would have expected this from you because you are stupid.
- 1:10:47Speaker 1: But you have to think, like, Jamal knows that Rob
- 1:10:51Speaker 1: has been just sleeping with this girl, not dating her.
- 1:10:54Speaker 1: He probably never bought her a dinner. And Jamal's like,
- 1:10:57Speaker 1: my buddy is just using and abusing this girl. Probably
- 1:11:01Speaker 1: talking crap about her because we know how Rob talks
- 1:11:04Speaker 1: about women.
- 1:11:05Speaker 2: Yeah, it's like, she's crazy.
- 1:11:06Speaker 4: And maybe Jamal always kind of thought, he wasn't respecting her,
- 1:11:11Speaker 4: but like you've spent enough time around Emma because of Rob,
- 1:11:15Speaker 4: you probably would have gotten to know her personality.
- 1:11:18Speaker 3: And what about that made you drew you in?
- 1:11:24Speaker 2: They, they date on this show.
- 1:11:25Speaker 1: Now we don't know how it's going to, how it's
- 1:11:27Speaker 1: going to evolve into where we are now, but it's,
- 1:11:31Speaker 1: it's wild to me that they've got this whole, all
- 1:11:34Speaker 1: these women and all these things that he's going to
- 1:11:37Speaker 1: date her.
- 1:11:39Speaker 4: He's just so well, he's way stupider than I thought
- 1:11:43Speaker 4: he was. But he's so like he's smart and funny.
- 1:11:46Speaker 4: At least that's how he appears to be. And he
- 1:11:49Speaker 4: dated Veronica, who is very smart and funny and has
- 1:11:54Speaker 4: like built up a career for herself and is a
- 1:11:58Speaker 4: mom and all of that, like dated her maybe just
- 1:12:02Speaker 4: to get on the show. It's been whatever. But like
- 1:12:05Speaker 4: he seemed to like her.
- 1:12:06Speaker 3: We don't know.
- 1:12:07Speaker 4: And now you're going like to Emma, who's like so
- 1:12:12Speaker 4: vapid and so annoying.
- 1:12:15Speaker 3: And from what.
- 1:12:17Speaker 1: I'd like to know, like what, who hurt you? Like what, what,
- 1:12:21Speaker 1: how did you have going? What made you into this.
- 1:12:24Speaker 4: Like blow up doll persona that like, how did you?
- 1:12:29Speaker 4: and is that what you think guys like, but that's
- 1:12:32Speaker 4: the kind of guy you're attracting is guys who like
- 1:12:34Speaker 4: that sort of thing. And we, again, we've seen your
- 1:12:37Speaker 4: sister and she's not like that. And she thinks you're
- 1:12:41Speaker 4: dumb as shit because we saw her say that you're
- 1:12:45Speaker 4: dumb as shit. And like you make horrible decisions and
- 1:12:48Speaker 4: you're too desperate for love and less and you don't
- 1:12:53Speaker 4: respect yourself and you sleep with guys way too fast
- 1:12:56Speaker 4: and like all of this stuff.
- 1:12:58Speaker 3: Um, So, yeah, I just don't.
- 1:13:02Speaker 2: What happened, Emma? What happened to make you this way?
- 1:13:05Speaker 3: But Jamal has said he likes a fixer-upper. He does.
- 1:13:08Speaker 3: He thinks he wants to save a girl. He's Captain Save-A-Ho. Yes,
- 1:13:12Speaker 3: I am.
- 1:13:12Speaker 4: And he thinks she's been abused by Rob because he
- 1:13:18Speaker 4: treated her like dirt, which he probably did. But she
- 1:13:23Speaker 4: stood for it for a long time after saying she
- 1:13:26Speaker 4: would never again stand for such a thing. after what's
- 1:13:29Speaker 4: his face in and what's his face and what those two,
- 1:13:34Speaker 4: both what's his faces.
- 1:13:35Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:13:37Speaker 4: Who were way too ugly to be treating her like that.
- 1:13:41Speaker 4: Abandoning her in the middle of the desert.
- 1:13:44Speaker 2: Never forget. Hello, man, the desert. Well, this is going
- 1:13:50Speaker 2: to be a good season. Now they have a new
- 1:13:52Speaker 2: show called sheet talk. Between the sheet talking? I don't know,
- 1:13:59Speaker 2: but we're not going to talk about it.
- 1:14:00Speaker 4: Plus, it's listed as pillow talk, but then it says
- 1:14:03Speaker 4: like colon sheet talking.
- 1:14:06Speaker 3: But when you click on it, it is only last season.
- 1:14:09Speaker 2: You can't get it.
- 1:14:12Speaker 1: You can't get it. This was a big topic of
- 1:14:14Speaker 1: conversation in the Facebook group. This is what they did.
- 1:14:16Speaker 3: It'll be on my DVR.
- 1:14:18Speaker 4: In fact, if I had thought ahead, I would have
- 1:14:19Speaker 4: logged into my Sling TV on my computer and watched
- 1:14:23Speaker 4: it because I can log into my DVR.
- 1:14:25Speaker 3: Oh, how was it?
- 1:14:27Speaker 2: I don't like it.
- 1:14:29Speaker 1: And Emily of Emily and Kobe texted me and asked
- 1:14:32Speaker 1: me how I liked it.
- 1:14:33Speaker 2: I go, honestly, I don't like it. I like either
- 1:14:35Speaker 2: just pillow talk or do between the sheets. But this is,
- 1:14:38Speaker 2: so it's like Emily and.
- 1:14:39Speaker 1: Kobe and then Chloe's there. So it's like Robert and Annie,
- 1:14:45Speaker 1: but then like Jamal is there.
- 1:14:48Speaker 4: But was that just for this first episode, like a
- 1:14:51Speaker 4: watch party type thing? No.
- 1:14:53Speaker 3: In the future?
- 1:14:54Speaker 4: No.
- 1:14:55Speaker 2: No. It was this set.
- 1:14:57Speaker 1: And so it would be like Emily and Kobe watching
- 1:15:00Speaker 1: a scene with Jamal. And then Robert and Annie watching
- 1:15:03Speaker 1: a scene with Khloe. And then Robert and Annie watching
- 1:15:06Speaker 1: a scene with Kara. And then like Emily and Kobe
- 1:15:08Speaker 1: watching a scene with Kara. Like it was just very much.
- 1:15:11Speaker 2: Like all over the place. I don't feel like they're going.
- 1:15:12Speaker 4: To be as able to be as mean as they
- 1:15:15Speaker 4: could be with the person sitting right there.
- 1:15:18Speaker 2: Because they were asking questions. They're like, no, wait a minute, girl. Da-da-da-da-da.
- 1:15:21Speaker 2: You know? And they were... Yeah.
- 1:15:22Speaker 1: But it just made– I didn't like it. I don't
- 1:15:25Speaker 1: like the format of it. But anyway, it's hard to find.
- 1:15:28Speaker 1: Somebody did say they were able to get it on demand,
- 1:15:30Speaker 1: which means probably they had to pay for it.
- 1:15:31Speaker 2: I don't know. But TLC puts up the whole– like
- 1:15:34Speaker 2: they put up the.
- 1:15:35Speaker 1: Entire between the sheets for last resort after the season's over.
- 1:15:39Speaker 2: They call it a vertical.
- 1:15:41Speaker 3: I don't like it.
- 1:15:43Speaker 1: But you can find it if you DVR it old
- 1:15:45Speaker 1: school cable style like I do.
- 1:15:47Speaker 2: Or you can.
- 1:15:50Speaker 1: Find it by on– on demand somebody told me they
- 1:15:53Speaker 1: were able to find it on demand like on their
- 1:15:55Speaker 1: tv i don't think you can get it like on
- 1:15:56Speaker 1: tlc go so either watch it or don't but starting
- 1:16:00Speaker 1: in two weeks we will talk about it because the
- 1:16:02Speaker 1: show will only be one hour but these first two
- 1:16:05Speaker 1: episodes are going to be two hours so even if
- 1:16:06Speaker 1: we watch it next week we're not going to talk
- 1:16:08Speaker 1: about it because it's too much too much too much
- 1:16:12Speaker 1: we're in new york city is late kimberly i get
- 1:16:15Speaker 1: to see you tomorrow i'm so excited I know.
- 1:16:18Speaker 3: I'm so excited. And I got to go to bed, girl.
- 1:16:21Speaker 2: Me too. Me too, sister.
- 1:16:22Speaker 1: Everybody, make sure you're following us. Now, Kimberly, I have
- 1:16:26Speaker 1: had questions.
- 1:16:27Speaker 2: About A Date with the Bake.
- 1:16:29Speaker 1: I told people that I knew for sure it was
- 1:16:32Speaker 1: on YouTube, A Date with K & K on YouTube.
- 1:16:34Speaker 2: I could not speak to where the audio was.
- 1:16:37Speaker 3: The audio.
- 1:16:38Speaker 2: Podcast feed.
- 1:16:39Speaker 4: I got to text somebody because somebody didn't put it
- 1:16:44Speaker 4: on the audio feed.
- 1:16:45Speaker 3: So apologies.
- 1:16:46Speaker 2: Footage not found.
- 1:16:47Speaker 3: Yeah, Kimberly not in town.
- 1:16:51Speaker 2: To do it.
- 1:16:52Speaker 3: To do it. Or to remind somebody to do it.
- 1:16:55Speaker 3: So we're going to get that sorted.
- 1:16:59Speaker 2: But you can watch it on YouTube.
- 1:17:02Speaker 4: You can still watch the first episode. Now, I don't
- 1:17:05Speaker 4: know if the second episode has been recorded. I was
- 1:17:08Speaker 4: not part of it. So, again, we'll find out.
- 1:17:13Speaker 2: Okay.
- 1:17:13Speaker 1: I did listen to A Date with Dateline this week
- 1:17:16Speaker 1: with Jake, and it was a great episode. They did
- 1:17:20Speaker 1: talk about Jimmy Buffett in the present, and I did
- 1:17:22Speaker 1: send Katie a note to say Jimmy Buffett has passed.
- 1:17:24Speaker 3: Oh, they've gotten so many comments on Patreon already.
- 1:17:27Speaker 2: Yeah. I told her. I said, I'm sure someone has
- 1:17:29Speaker 2: told you. She's like, no. But now I'm prepared for
- 1:17:32Speaker 2: the onslaught.
- 1:17:34Speaker 4: Yes.
- 1:17:34Speaker 1: People are going to come after you about the parrot heads.
- 1:17:37Speaker 1: The parrot heads are a real thing.
- 1:17:39Speaker 3: Oh, yeah.
- 1:17:40Speaker 2: But I did listen. It was a great episode. And
- 1:17:42Speaker 2: I told her that they did a great job.
- 1:17:44Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:17:45Speaker 2: That they were surviving.
- 1:17:45Speaker 4: We need our editor, Adam, to actually serve as a
- 1:17:49Speaker 4: fact checker, too. Because he doesn't care if he puts
- 1:17:52Speaker 4: up reels that humiliate us and make us look dumb.
- 1:17:55Speaker 3: Because it gets more engagement.
- 1:17:57Speaker 2: I think that's a great idea for a segment. I
- 1:17:59Speaker 2: would like to look less dumb.
- 1:18:01Speaker 1: I think that's a great idea for a segment that
- 1:18:03Speaker 1: you could, like, you kind of do, like, the rewind
- 1:18:04Speaker 1: at the end and you do your bloopers.
- 1:18:06Speaker 2: You could do, like, a stamp fact check.
- 1:18:10Speaker 3: Fact check.
- 1:18:11Speaker 2: Fact check with Adam at the end.
- 1:18:13Speaker 3: Yeah.
