- 0:18Speaker 2: Guess who?
- 0:21Speaker 1: Can we me?
- 0:23Speaker 2: Hi, I'm the girl, It's me.
- 0:29Speaker 1: I am a little distracted by no one?
- 0:34Speaker 3: What do you call that?
- 0:35Speaker 2: Space buns?
- 0:36Speaker 3: Space buns?
- 0:37Speaker 2: Yeah? Okay, I think they make me look cute?
- 0:40Speaker 1: Do you look very cute? But you know what? It
- 0:42Speaker 1: reminds me of what Xenon's Yes.
- 0:45Speaker 2: The warrior princess.
- 0:46Speaker 4: No, no, no girl from them right?
- 0:52Speaker 2: Yeah, they do, so I remember.
- 0:57Speaker 1: The warrior Princess.
- 1:00Speaker 5: That's Xena, not Xenon, exactly Zena. The word different, also
- 1:05Speaker 5: very similar. Zena and Xenon come.
- 1:08Speaker 1: On very different visually and storyline wise. Yes, yes, yes, anyways,
- 1:14Speaker 1: what inspired this? Also? Do you have a headache?
- 1:17Speaker 5: No headache thus far? Talk to me at five pm
- 1:21Speaker 5: because they will be staying in all day. Wow, that's right.
- 1:26Speaker 5: I need a change. Yeah, I need a change. It
- 1:30Speaker 5: feels fresh and fun, feels fun girl energy.
- 1:34Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, so Sisney, that did them though you didn't
- 1:37Speaker 1: do it yourself.
- 1:37Speaker 5: I did not, So I did them myself this morning
- 1:41Speaker 5: and you did, yes, and they looked bad.
- 1:44Speaker 2: They were like, not in the right spot.
- 1:46Speaker 5: Okay, So I asked Sisney to do them for me
- 1:49Speaker 5: this morning, and they're in the right spot. They're just
- 1:52Speaker 5: doing two different they're going two different ways.
- 1:54Speaker 1: Their sisters not twins, correct, correct, like eyebrows getting to
- 2:00Speaker 1: towards cousins.
- 2:01Speaker 2: Actually the single second cousins. Yeah, yeah, they're second cousins.
- 2:04Speaker 1: But yeah, no, you look cute. I like it does Robbie.
- 2:07Speaker 1: What did Robbie say?
- 2:08Speaker 2: Not the biggest fan of them.
- 2:10Speaker 1: But I don't know dress for him.
- 2:11Speaker 2: I dressed for myself, right, bitch.
- 2:16Speaker 1: Just gonna be a bleak, gonna be a bleep for us.
- 2:19Speaker 1: But and they will never know what it was because
- 2:21Speaker 1: it didn't make sense. It just does. She can't stop
- 2:27Speaker 1: looking at herself. I was gonna change it up.
- 2:30Speaker 2: We gotta change it up.
- 2:31Speaker 5: I was gonna do braided pigtails, but that didn't feel elevated.
- 2:38Speaker 2: This feels elevated.
- 2:40Speaker 1: It's culture appropriation. Braided pigtails like a high no.
- 2:46Speaker 5: No, no, no, like like the the just the braided
- 2:50Speaker 5: like Pippy long stocking.
- 2:51Speaker 1: Oh Pippy, yeah, yeah, I dressed up this Pippy long
- 2:54Speaker 1: stocking one time for Halloween. Yeah, my mom put hanger
- 2:57Speaker 1: like a hanger and then wired him out that they
- 3:00Speaker 1: stuck out. Yeah, it was. It was a really good costume.
- 3:03Speaker 1: I should bring that back.
- 3:04Speaker 2: You should.
- 3:05Speaker 1: How are you doing?
- 3:06Speaker 2: Doing good? How are you doing?
- 3:08Speaker 1: Are you? Are you manic or we chill?
- 3:11Speaker 5: It's a fine line between the two. Hard to say.
- 3:16Speaker 1: Okay, you great?
- 3:18Speaker 2: Great, never been better, never been better? Did you watch
- 3:20Speaker 2: the fight on Friday?
- 3:23Speaker 1: Oh? Vibes that I watch a fight? Hold on?
- 3:27Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 3:28Speaker 1: Thank you?
- 3:29Speaker 3: Which one sixty million people watch? Yeah? I have interest
- 3:33Speaker 3: in boxing and any time. But I had to turn
- 3:35Speaker 3: this on because it's all anyone was talking about.
- 3:37Speaker 1: Correct, No, I didn't.
- 3:39Speaker 2: Okay, not even the highlights.
- 3:42Speaker 3: No, do you know who fought?
- 3:44Speaker 1: Yeah, you're talking about Jake, Paul and Mike that's the way.
- 3:46Speaker 2: Yeah, right, Mike, Mike, Big Mike.
- 3:49Speaker 1: I saw a lot of people feeling sorry for Mike Tyson,
- 3:51Speaker 1: That's what I saw. A lot of TikTok and a
- 3:53Speaker 1: lot of just bored him.
- 3:54Speaker 3: Like the first couple of rounds, there was some punching.
- 3:56Speaker 3: Within the last few round they just kind of stood.
- 3:58Speaker 1: There like he was I'm on empathetic TikTok. So that's
- 4:03Speaker 1: what came up for me about the fight. Otherwise I
- 4:06Speaker 1: didn't I don't try. I try not to support that
- 4:09Speaker 1: type of behavior.
- 4:11Speaker 2: It's very barbaric.
- 4:12Speaker 1: It's very barbaric, and it feels like scripted. It feels
- 4:15Speaker 1: like so overly.
- 4:16Speaker 5: It's like, so, apparently boxing is not scripted. Wrestling is scripted.
- 4:21Speaker 5: From what I've been told, this is all alleged. I'm
- 4:23Speaker 5: not a sideline reporter.
- 4:26Speaker 3: That is the case.
- 4:26Speaker 5: Okay, so Mark can confirm that is the case. So
- 4:29Speaker 5: boxing is not scripted. But apparently, so the fight was
- 4:33Speaker 5: to start at five o'clock, all these.
- 4:36Speaker 2: Other people fighting that I don't care about before.
- 4:39Speaker 1: That's not true.
- 4:40Speaker 3: I mean that's they said, five o'clock, they say, But
- 4:43Speaker 3: it wasn't supposed to start. Everyone knew that there was
- 4:45Speaker 3: an undercard.
- 4:46Speaker 2: I don't even know what that means.
- 4:47Speaker 5: So apparently all these other people are fighting before and
- 4:49Speaker 5: they're so bloody, like there's blood on blood on blood.
- 4:53Speaker 3: I heard. I didn't see it. But the woman, the
- 4:55Speaker 3: women's fight right before Jake and Mike was brutal.
- 4:59Speaker 2: Yes, great, well, I support that.
- 5:02Speaker 3: I don't get the girls.
- 5:04Speaker 2: In the main ring.
- 5:05Speaker 3: I don't think any the two people should be in
- 5:07Speaker 3: a bring beating the crap out of each other. I
- 5:09Speaker 3: don't care what gender they are.
- 5:11Speaker 1: You didn't have the video going for that long. We
- 5:14Speaker 1: missed your whole hair thing and everything. You singing to
- 5:16Speaker 1: the camera. You were staring at the camera and didn't
- 5:19Speaker 1: turn it on. We you know, can only do so
- 5:24Speaker 1: much as one person in this.
- 5:26Speaker 5: You only lead a tread deer to the water, but
- 5:28Speaker 5: you can't make or swim that drink drink.
- 5:31Speaker 2: Yes, so sorry, you may continue, Mark.
- 5:35Speaker 3: Thank you. I don't I don't support that. I don't
- 5:38Speaker 3: think we should have two humans beating the crap out
- 5:40Speaker 3: of each other in a ring in front of thousands
- 5:41Speaker 3: of scripting women. I don't care. I think boxing is barbaric.
- 5:47Speaker 3: It's like entertainment from the nineteenth century.
- 5:49Speaker 2: Yeah, I agree, it's wild.
- 5:52Speaker 1: Yeah, I had no interest in it. But also it
- 5:58Speaker 1: is a massive money are Oh.
- 6:01Speaker 3: Where do we got Jake got forty million and Mike
- 6:03Speaker 3: got twenty money?
- 6:05Speaker 2: Where does that come from? And like, what's your least
- 6:07Speaker 2: they're on doing there?
- 6:10Speaker 3: That was interesting?
- 6:11Speaker 1: What is she doing in there?
- 6:12Speaker 3: I got very entertained by that when they ran down
- 6:14Speaker 3: to the celebrities.
- 6:15Speaker 2: Yeah, so they can't pronounce. None of these people were
- 6:18Speaker 2: pronouncing any of the celebrities names, right. I was like,
- 6:20Speaker 2: what is happening?
- 6:20Speaker 3: Joe was there, Josh Duhamel Jonas was there?
- 6:25Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 6:26Speaker 3: Uh least then yep, I feel like there were others.
- 6:30Speaker 2: There were other Where was it?
- 6:33Speaker 1: Oh?
- 6:33Speaker 3: Gronkowski was in Dallas where the Cowboys play at and wow,
- 6:37Speaker 3: it's a big stadium, massive, Seventy two thousand people were there.
- 6:41Speaker 3: So that's where they get the money. They get the
- 6:42Speaker 3: money from that, and then Netflix just pays a ton
- 6:44Speaker 3: for the rights to that, isn't it weird?
- 6:46Speaker 1: That's kind of like Barbieheimer, where you had like Taylor
- 6:50Speaker 1: Swift being in that stadium performing and then it goes
- 6:53Speaker 1: into like Mike Tyson verse Steak Paul fighting to the death.
- 6:57Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 6:58Speaker 1: Yeah, it's the way the world works, speaking of him.
- 7:00Speaker 1: One is the Gladiator premiere tonight. Yes, yeah, chills, chills.
- 7:06Speaker 2: Did you see the first Gladiator?
- 7:07Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 7:07Speaker 1: But like forever ago?
- 7:09Speaker 2: Are you going to watch the first one before you go?
- 7:12Speaker 6: No, you cant refresh on the legend of Maximus?
- 7:14Speaker 1: Yeah, No, I'm going to go in just like seeing
- 7:16Speaker 1: what what I remember. But anyways, I did invite Tanya
- 7:20Speaker 1: to go to the premiere with me.
- 7:21Speaker 2: You did as well. Indeed, she said it's too much
- 7:24Speaker 2: for her.
- 7:25Speaker 6: Wow, No, she can't take the violence, right, No.
- 7:27Speaker 1: No, no, no, Mike Tyson and I'm fine, she just
- 7:34Speaker 1: can't do the social interaction. It's she's got too much
- 7:36Speaker 1: on her plate.
- 7:37Speaker 2: This that's too much on my plate this week.
- 7:39Speaker 1: So she said no.
- 7:40Speaker 2: But you know how Beck enticed me, which was very smart.
- 7:43Speaker 1: Well, this was the main reason I invited you because
- 7:48Speaker 1: I'm sorry, would you would I think of you verse
- 7:51Speaker 1: for the Gladiator premiere?
- 7:52Speaker 2: Okay, find fair for.
- 7:54Speaker 1: The Uh my friend Avanti, who is part of the
- 7:57Speaker 1: Paramount team, she's the one who invited me, and she
- 7:59Speaker 1: was like, all, so the Love Island USA cast is
- 8:02Speaker 1: going to be there. She was like, so if you
- 8:06Speaker 1: want to invite Tanya, I know she's a huge fan.
- 8:08Speaker 1: And I was like, oh my god.
- 8:09Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 8:09Speaker 1: That. I was like, I don't see her going out
- 8:11Speaker 1: on a Monday. However, the Love Island cast.
- 8:15Speaker 3: Was enticing that when you accosted a Cruller or whatever
- 8:18Speaker 3: her name is.
- 8:22Speaker 2: Put some respect on that name.
- 8:23Speaker 3: I never heard that.
- 8:25Speaker 1: Last week, Kaylor Live Janey Kenny, Leah Leah again, Liah
- 8:31Speaker 1: mcguellor there, Serena Cordell.
- 8:34Speaker 2: Oh, okay, so it's Serena, yeah, Jane Kenny.
- 8:37Speaker 1: Yeah, they were all at dinner. I got invited to
- 8:40Speaker 1: the dinner last night too. Yeah I did, but I
- 8:44Speaker 1: was doing stuff with Haley's family yesterday, so I didn't go,
- 8:47Speaker 1: and I was going tonight, so it felt excessive.
- 8:50Speaker 3: I know.
- 8:50Speaker 5: It's one of those because like when you see Kaylor again,
- 8:52Speaker 5: are you gonna be like hey girl?
- 8:55Speaker 1: Yeah? Yeah, I'll be like, hey girl.
- 8:58Speaker 3: Are there other options should consider?
- 9:01Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 9:01Speaker 5: Because like Crawler, Hey Crawler, Because if for me and
- 9:06Speaker 5: she saw me again, I would be nervous and she'd
- 9:08Speaker 5: be like, uh.
- 9:10Speaker 1: She literally responded to you on Instagram.
- 9:12Speaker 2: Yeah we're friends.
- 9:13Speaker 1: Yeah, so I think you could be totally chill girl,
- 9:16Speaker 1: cool vibes.
- 9:17Speaker 2: I'd have to take it down a notch from the
- 9:19Speaker 2: first interaction.
- 9:20Speaker 1: No, you'd have to. Yeah, because I are your friends.
- 9:21Speaker 1: You don't need to do it.
- 9:22Speaker 2: I don't need to do the no hooplah.
- 9:24Speaker 1: Yeah, she knows that you love her, Yeah, and she
- 9:27Speaker 1: loves you. Correct, there's a mutual respect. Yeah, you're not
- 9:30Speaker 1: going to see her tonight.
- 9:31Speaker 5: So the next step is getting her on the podcast,
- 9:34Speaker 5: which we will will I will not go down without
- 9:40Speaker 5: Kaylor Martin on this podcast well as well as Patrick Dempsey.
- 9:47Speaker 1: Oh god, so let's.
- 9:50Speaker 2: Just mark that in our How many years has that
- 9:52Speaker 2: been on the list? I was just twenty twenty three,
- 9:54Speaker 2: so it's only two years.
- 9:56Speaker 3: That's when you he was at that softball game.
- 9:58Speaker 5: Yeah no, no, no, that's when he's we wanted him
- 10:00Speaker 5: on the podcast. That year twenty twenty three is on
- 10:03Speaker 5: my twenty twenty two vision board for twenty twenty three. Wait,
- 10:07Speaker 5: which is last year?
- 10:08Speaker 1: So two years ago?
- 10:09Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 10:10Speaker 1: Okay, so we're in year two, you're about to enter
- 10:12Speaker 1: year three.
- 10:13Speaker 2: You know what they say, never quit, try.
- 10:16Speaker 5: Shoot for the stars and or shoot for the moon
- 10:18Speaker 5: and land amongst the stars.
- 10:23Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 10:24Speaker 2: Patrick Dempsey is closer than he's ever been.
- 10:27Speaker 5: How he's going on this new Dexter show, So he's
- 10:31Speaker 5: gonna have to promote that at some point. What better
- 10:34Speaker 5: place to promote your Dexter show than scrubbing in?
- 10:39Speaker 1: I can think of crime junkies. I don't know. The
- 10:47Speaker 1: list was Patrick Dempsey ever People's sexiest man?
- 10:52Speaker 6: Yes?
- 10:54Speaker 1: I was gonna say, okay, that's fresh in my mind.
- 10:56Speaker 2: Yes, but he doesn't have to promote that.
- 10:58Speaker 1: No, No, no, but it is it would be timing because
- 11:00Speaker 1: they just announced.
- 11:02Speaker 2: The new one.
- 11:03Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 11:03Speaker 2: Yeah, So he's like, I'm out, John Christ.
- 11:06Speaker 1: You just would like to ask what was it like
- 11:08Speaker 1: passing off the crowd? Yeah?
- 11:09Speaker 6: Yeah, yeah, yeah yeah. Was it a peaceful transition?
- 11:11Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 11:12Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm gonna get this one more go.
- 11:14Speaker 5: If anybody listening any contact, direct contact, indirect, subterranean contact,
- 11:20Speaker 5: subliminal contact with Patrick.
- 11:22Speaker 1: Doesn't want to have a connect and it still never happened.
- 11:24Speaker 5: It's fine that person maybe couldn't have made it happen,
- 11:27Speaker 5: but somebody else can you If somebody can't, someone can't.
- 11:32Speaker 1: Here's my question. What if someone can do all they
- 11:35Speaker 1: can do, which is get to Patrick Dempsey in his
- 11:37Speaker 1: space and say would you want to go on scrubbing
- 11:39Speaker 1: him podcasts? And every time he.
- 11:41Speaker 5: Says no, And so it's not about do you want to?
- 11:45Speaker 2: It's you should and let me tell you the reasons why.
- 11:48Speaker 1: Yeah. But what if he's like, well I don't want
- 11:52Speaker 1: to talk about Gray's anatomy, Well and.
- 11:56Speaker 3: We could talk about other things.
- 11:57Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, yes, say show what would be the reasons
- 12:01Speaker 1: that he should come on the podcast?
- 12:04Speaker 5: An amazing loyal audience that will tune into his show
- 12:10Speaker 5: and show up for him and sent him amazing messages
- 12:15Speaker 5: and encouragement and love and joy.
- 12:19Speaker 3: Becca's right, though, naming the show scrubbing in that is
- 12:22Speaker 3: going to probably deter him because he's going to think,
- 12:24Speaker 3: I don't want to know Grace Anatomy for an hour.
- 12:26Speaker 3: That's probably an issue.
- 12:28Speaker 2: Let's change the name of the podcast.
- 12:29Speaker 1: Okay, tried, believe me, we have tried. However, I have
- 12:38Speaker 1: watched Grey's Anatomy again, sweet, but you know what I did.
- 12:42Speaker 1: I didn't try to catch up. I just watched the
- 12:46Speaker 1: Sophia Bush episode, and then I watched Thursday's episode, which
- 12:50Speaker 1: I cried. I haven't cried watching Grays and so long.
- 12:53Speaker 3: It's back?
- 12:54Speaker 2: Is it back?
- 12:55Speaker 1: Is it?
- 12:55Speaker 2: I'm asking Becca respectfully.
- 12:57Speaker 1: The past two of the episodes I have seen are
- 13:00Speaker 1: our back? Really good? Whoa drama? It's really comes down
- 13:04Speaker 1: to someone having a really devastating death. Who died? You
- 13:10Speaker 1: have to tune in to find out?
- 13:12Speaker 2: I know who died?
- 13:13Speaker 1: You don't?
- 13:13Speaker 2: Yeah, I do? Don't you texted us?
- 13:15Speaker 1: You don't?
- 13:17Speaker 3: No spoilers here?
- 13:18Speaker 2: Okay, fine, well.
- 13:20Speaker 1: So we can't talk about it. I'm fine to talk
- 13:22Speaker 1: about it. She's not going to watch it. What are
- 13:23Speaker 1: we expecting her to watch it? She's watching the Americans' market.
- 13:26Speaker 2: Is the more concerned about our listeners? Not so much meat.
- 13:30Speaker 1: It's been a whole weekend.
- 13:31Speaker 3: A weekend is not long.
- 13:33Speaker 1: We give a spoiler alert.
- 13:36Speaker 3: I mean, whatever you want to do, it's you.
- 13:41Speaker 2: Of you.
- 13:43Speaker 5: I'm not worried about the spoiler alert. I'm worried about
- 13:45Speaker 5: our listeners.
- 13:47Speaker 1: You guys, we talk about things without giving a spoiler
- 13:50Speaker 1: alert all the time.
- 13:51Speaker 2: Yeah, we basically spoiled the fight.
- 13:53Speaker 3: That's different. We didn't actually say who won the fight,
- 13:59Speaker 3: so I don't think we've all the thing I said.
- 14:02Speaker 1: There was a lot of sad, empathetic spoiler alertic. Anyways, Okay, fine,
- 14:09Speaker 1: then I'll move on to John.
- 14:12Speaker 5: No no, no, by all means give your spoiler alert. Well,
- 14:16Speaker 5: I just now is the time if you're watching fast forward?
- 14:20Speaker 1: Well, so they made it seem like Mika was gonna die.
- 14:24Speaker 1: Who is Adelaide Kane's kind of new love interest? And
- 14:28Speaker 1: you remember when we interviewed her at Epicon, she was like,
- 14:30Speaker 1: there might be something really devastating and beautiful. Yes, well
- 14:34Speaker 1: it was it has been. And then she's driving home
- 14:38Speaker 1: and she gets in a wreck and her little sister. Yeah,
- 14:42Speaker 1: and her little sister is in the car with her,
- 14:43Speaker 1: who just had her first round of chemo, and they
- 14:46Speaker 1: get so the whole the whole episode, they're trying to
- 14:51Speaker 1: save both of them, but they're the sister dies and
- 14:55Speaker 1: so they're trying to save Mika and they're like doing
- 14:57Speaker 1: all these crazy you know, Bailey comes up with the
- 14:59Speaker 1: cree easiest surgery you've ever heard of. She survives, and
- 15:02Speaker 1: you think that she's not gonna make it because we
- 15:04Speaker 1: know she's leaving because they've already announced it. And she
- 15:07Speaker 1: wakes up at the end and Bailey's holding her hand
- 15:09Speaker 1: and she's like, where's asked for a sister? And she's
- 15:11Speaker 1: like and it was so devastating. Yeah, that feels so
- 15:15Speaker 1: now I wonder if they're gonna take it, if it's
- 15:17Speaker 1: gonna be like a Mark Sloan situation. Remember how he
- 15:20Speaker 1: lived for a little bit longer after Lexi after the
- 15:22Speaker 1: plane crash. Yeah, and he had the surge where he
- 15:24Speaker 1: like really came back and they're like, oh my gosh,
- 15:26Speaker 1: she's fine, and then that was it.
- 15:27Speaker 5: Yeah, or if she's she's gonna she didn't die then,
- 15:31Speaker 5: but there's gonna be some complications like internal bleeding or something,
- 15:34Speaker 5: and then she's gonna.
- 15:35Speaker 1: I was thinking either that or she'll be like I can't,
- 15:38Speaker 1: like it's too hard to work in this medical like
- 15:41Speaker 1: in the hospital after I happened to mysies like I
- 15:43Speaker 1: need to go find myself, and she just leaves.
- 15:46Speaker 5: I don't know if I was stronger back then when
- 15:49Speaker 5: I was watching grays Anatomy or if I'm just like
- 15:51Speaker 5: a giant whissy now. But like, even just hearing that
- 15:54Speaker 5: makes me so depressed.
- 15:56Speaker 1: It's all depressed.
- 15:58Speaker 5: But I didn't used to make me feel this sad
- 16:00Speaker 5: when I was like in it, do you know what
- 16:01Speaker 5: I mean?
- 16:02Speaker 2: Is it the way of the world?
- 16:04Speaker 1: But well, I don't know. I think that you binged
- 16:07Speaker 1: it so much that your brain it was like you
- 16:09Speaker 1: were having to move on because it was like process,
- 16:12Speaker 1: move on because the next one's coming.
- 16:14Speaker 5: Yeah, it's crazy. Just hearing that makes me like depressed.
- 16:17Speaker 1: It was really sad, and she did an incredible job,
- 16:20Speaker 1: and now I feel sad because they had so much chemistry.
- 16:23Speaker 1: I was like, Wow, we're about to get another lesbian romance,
- 16:27Speaker 1: and then a WLW romance, I guess, and then Jake
- 16:31Speaker 1: Brelli left. It was his last episode, so they did
- 16:33Speaker 1: a cute little montage of saying about him. Man, I'm
- 16:36Speaker 1: tired of them putting like Joe in this like I'm
- 16:39Speaker 1: staying at home, I'm having to raise my kids. I
- 16:42Speaker 1: hate that, and I to.
- 16:44Speaker 5: Talk love interest a better one.
- 16:51Speaker 3: Your opinion is discounted.
- 16:52Speaker 1: I'm sorry, but I do wish she had someone else.
- 16:58Speaker 3: Your opinion is valid. Thank you. You don't watch the
- 17:01Speaker 3: show forever.
- 17:03Speaker 1: But I told we told Camilla that we don't like links,
- 17:06Speaker 1: so that we said that to her face, So I
- 17:08Speaker 1: can I feel confidencing that hair.
- 17:11Speaker 2: You know what I have watching?
- 17:13Speaker 3: Why don't you tell us all after the break? Wow? Okay, yeah, great.
- 17:41Speaker 1: We're back.
- 17:43Speaker 2: I'm watching the Martha Stewart documentary.
- 17:46Speaker 1: I've been okay, so I've been going back and forth
- 17:49Speaker 1: if it's something I should click, Yes, yes, why told me?
- 17:53Speaker 5: So fascinating. She's just a fascinating being. How though on
- 17:59Speaker 5: so many levels, but also like she talks about when
- 18:02Speaker 5: she had her kid and how like she felt like
- 18:05Speaker 5: she didn't she she wasn't you know, everybody has kids
- 18:09Speaker 5: and they're like, it's the best thing that ever happened
- 18:10Speaker 5: to me, And they're like the best thing.
- 18:12Speaker 2: She was the opposite. She like didn't know how to
- 18:14Speaker 2: be a mom, like like she like fumbled through it.
- 18:17Speaker 5: And I find that to be so like refreshing that
- 18:19Speaker 5: somebody can admit that, do you know what I mean?
- 18:21Speaker 5: Because I'm sure other people out there have felt that
- 18:23Speaker 5: or have are currently feeling that totally. And she like
- 18:26Speaker 5: built this whole empire on being like perfect, and then
- 18:30Speaker 5: she goes to jail and has to rebuild an entire
- 18:34Speaker 5: brand and like, I don't know, I just find her
- 18:37Speaker 5: story and everything so fascinating and like, I don't know,
- 18:41Speaker 5: like she grew up, the way she grew up, and
- 18:43Speaker 5: the choices that she had to make, like choose between
- 18:45Speaker 5: marriage and career and just all these things that we
- 18:49Speaker 5: don't have to choose between now.
- 18:51Speaker 2: And it's just she's in our lifetime. It's like so crazy.
- 18:53Speaker 1: She's really interesting. But did you see her interview with
- 18:56Speaker 1: Drew Barrymore? No? Did, and would have seen it? Well,
- 19:02Speaker 1: do you ever see Drew Barrymore?
- 19:04Speaker 2: She's very up.
- 19:05Speaker 1: Yeah, so she it's pretty cringe. Like I love Drew Barrymore,
- 19:10Speaker 1: first of all, I'll say I love her, But she
- 19:12Speaker 1: leans over and she goes what makes you feel warm
- 19:16Speaker 1: and gooey inside, and she like bites her finger. It
- 19:19Speaker 1: was really her own finger.
- 19:21Speaker 2: Okay, clear, Yeah that's important.
- 19:25Speaker 1: Drew Barrymore bites her own finger, saying what makes you
- 19:28Speaker 1: feel warm and gooey? Which is already cringe cringe, like
- 19:31Speaker 1: I'm on cozy And then she like gets closer and
- 19:33Speaker 1: I think she's like rubs Martha on the back. No,
- 19:38Speaker 1: and then Martha bushes her away and she's like, you're
- 19:40Speaker 1: the wrong gender, honey or something. You ain't it for me?
- 19:48Speaker 2: Oh my gosh.
- 19:50Speaker 5: Yeah, I just find Martha Stewart to be very fascinating.
- 19:54Speaker 1: Yeah, she's a funny. She's like interesting because they asked
- 19:58Speaker 1: her about uh sexiest People's sexy Samain Alive, which is
- 20:01Speaker 1: John Krasinski.
- 20:04Speaker 2: Did I say that you know who he is?
- 20:06Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 20:06Speaker 7: Okay, okay, Tanya, give me some credit here. And when
- 20:14Speaker 7: did she said something funny like yeah, he's smart and funny.
- 20:17Speaker 1: I've been to his house or he's been to my house.
- 20:20Speaker 1: Watch out wife? She said, watch out wife. Wow, only
- 20:25Speaker 1: Martha can get away with that line.
- 20:27Speaker 2: Yeah. I haven't finished it.
- 20:29Speaker 5: I'm like two thirds of the way done, but I'm
- 20:32Speaker 5: finding it very she's very the moment, you know, when
- 20:34Speaker 5: Charlie XCX puts you in her SNL monologue, she's.
- 20:39Speaker 1: Cool again, that's giving Bratt's brat. That's fart.
- 20:45Speaker 5: She goes, you know what's brat is Martha Stewart saying
- 20:48Speaker 5: she's so happy this journalist wrote some like the article
- 20:50Speaker 5: about her, like back in the day. And she's like,
- 20:53Speaker 5: I'm glad that this journalist is dead. And then the
- 20:55Speaker 5: journalist she goes, that's bratt she was, and then the
- 20:57Speaker 5: journalists coming back and saying I'm not that I'm alive.
- 21:01Speaker 1: It's even more. Do we agree with the people sexiest?
- 21:14Speaker 2: That's hilarious?
- 21:17Speaker 1: I do.
- 21:17Speaker 4: It's very funny, as if your manic.
- 21:37Speaker 1: I guess I watched it, but I don't know if
- 21:41Speaker 1: it got funnier than watching you talk about.
- 21:43Speaker 2: That good Sorry, would you say about John Krisinsky?
- 21:48Speaker 1: Do we agree? Is he people's sexiest man? You know?
- 21:52Speaker 3: I always feel like people they hit the dart board,
- 21:55Speaker 3: but they don't hit the center of the dark board.
- 21:57Speaker 3: You know, I was like, yeah, okay, Krasinsky, but maybe
- 21:59Speaker 3: three years ago it might have been a better Krazinsky choice.
- 22:02Speaker 5: Yes, yeah, like Glenn Powell would have been a good
- 22:04Speaker 5: choice or.
- 22:09Speaker 1: That is such a good analogy.
- 22:11Speaker 2: Mark Jeremy Alan White would have been like a good
- 22:13Speaker 2: one this year.
- 22:13Speaker 3: It would make sense, even if some might disagree, it
- 22:16Speaker 3: would make sense.
- 22:16Speaker 1: Yeah, I would all. I mean, right, sexy is subject subjective,
- 22:22Speaker 1: so there's always going to be someone that someone chooses.
- 22:25Speaker 1: But as a whole, I feel like typically like Patrick Dempsey,
- 22:29Speaker 1: I feel like we could all get on board for that,
- 22:30Speaker 1: right at some point in your life were late. I
- 22:35Speaker 1: was going through the list of people sexy as I
- 22:37Speaker 1: was trying to quist Taylor to see if she could
- 22:40Speaker 1: remember who was like each like year, that's fun. She
- 22:44Speaker 1: didn't get any of them, right, but none of them
- 22:46Speaker 1: maybe like a few in the more recent years that
- 22:48Speaker 1: she worked on with E News.
- 22:50Speaker 6: Right, do we believe the rumors that like they tried
- 22:53Speaker 6: to get They asked Glenn Powell, but he said no.
- 22:55Speaker 6: Like I heard.
- 22:56Speaker 3: That that seems legit to me.
- 22:58Speaker 6: I heard Kazinsky made a big bid for it to
- 23:01Speaker 6: try and not fix his image, but like put him
- 23:04Speaker 6: in the spotlight more.
- 23:05Speaker 3: I read that again, it's probably not him, it's probably
- 23:07Speaker 3: his publicist.
- 23:09Speaker 6: I like to think it's Tim person. Okay, he is
- 23:11Speaker 6: showing up on People Headquarters, saying I am sexy, Please
- 23:14Speaker 6: love me, adore me.
- 23:16Speaker 1: But why would you.
- 23:17Speaker 2: Not want it? Like, if you're a Glenn Powell, why
- 23:18Speaker 2: would you not want it?
- 23:20Speaker 1: Well, because then it just like it puts all this
- 23:22Speaker 1: focus on your hotness, on you being hot, And if
- 23:25Speaker 1: he's trying to be a serious actor and he doesn't
- 23:28Speaker 1: want to be seen as just his looks, that's the
- 23:31Speaker 1: thing I feel like in the act acting world.
- 23:34Speaker 5: You know you're hot when you want to be taken seriously, when.
- 23:39Speaker 1: All you want, when all you want, when you deny
- 23:42Speaker 1: sexiest man alive. But this is all a lleged We
- 23:45Speaker 1: don't even know if this is true, right.
- 23:47Speaker 6: This is just the rumor I'm seeing?
- 23:49Speaker 2: Is that unwere Where is this that you're seeing it?
- 23:51Speaker 2: Do you want?
- 23:51Speaker 3: I don't.
- 23:51Speaker 6: I don't want to. I don't want to say it.
- 23:52Speaker 6: I don't want to say my.
- 23:53Speaker 3: Source here.
- 23:56Speaker 6: Read it daily Mail?
- 23:58Speaker 1: Okay.
- 23:58Speaker 3: Wow.
- 24:01Speaker 6: Also there's one called sexy Panda dot Com that I
- 24:03Speaker 6: was getting this room, but it was Glenn Pallen Pedro Pascal.
- 24:10Speaker 1: He'd be on brand, right, he'll be it in three years?
- 24:14Speaker 6: Yeah right, yeah, well yeah, season five Last of Us,
- 24:17Speaker 6: we'll get him Glenn wants to make more of an
- 24:19Speaker 6: impact in acting now that he's finally getting amazing roles
- 24:22Speaker 6: and he's given me more of a star.
- 24:24Speaker 1: Okay, an actor.
- 24:26Speaker 3: I have some fun fact about The Sexy Man Live.
- 24:28Speaker 3: If you're interested? Can you name the three gentlemen who
- 24:31Speaker 3: have won the award twice?
- 24:33Speaker 1: Oh? Yes, oh Pitt correct? George Clooney correct?
- 24:37Speaker 3: Oh, actually I think there's four, but go ahead, Richard
- 24:41Speaker 3: Gear correct? What and there is one more?
- 24:44Speaker 1: How do you know this? There's one more?
- 24:46Speaker 3: I'm confirming?
- 24:47Speaker 1: Yes, Melion No, No, was it Patrick Swayze or is
- 24:51Speaker 1: it mel Gibson?
- 24:52Speaker 3: Neither?
- 24:53Speaker 1: Oh?
- 24:54Speaker 3: They both won once though?
- 24:55Speaker 1: Was it Denzel Nope? The Rock The Rocks one? He
- 25:08Speaker 1: should twice? Are you kidding?
- 25:12Speaker 4: You?
- 25:12Speaker 2: Should get it again and again and again.
- 25:14Speaker 3: This person won in three and again in nine, oh.
- 25:18Speaker 1: Oh, three and nine. He's in that era right of
- 25:24Speaker 1: of the Brad Pitts.
- 25:25Speaker 3: I mean, yeah, I think so.
- 25:26Speaker 2: Leonardo DiCaprio.
- 25:28Speaker 1: No, he's never gotten never gotten it, which titanically definitely,
- 25:33Speaker 1: but he was probably too young. He wasn't a man
- 25:37Speaker 1: sex creepy, creepy. Oh wait, I just looked at this
- 25:43Speaker 1: give it.
- 25:43Speaker 2: Like, can you give us a hint.
- 25:45Speaker 3: I'm trying to think of a good hint that wouldn't
- 25:46Speaker 3: completely give it away. Well, yeah, uh, he is wears
- 25:52Speaker 3: a lot of eyeliner. That's it.
- 25:56Speaker 1: Very good that when she is Monica from Friends.
- 26:03Speaker 3: I heard Phoebe personally, but.
- 26:05Speaker 1: She is Phoebe and Monica, Like there's when they played the.
- 26:08Speaker 5: Game Friends are giving Phoebe is giving Monica.
- 26:11Speaker 1: When they played that one game and Friends, which is
- 26:14Speaker 1: basically Jeopardy for the for the apartment.
- 26:25Speaker 2: Such a good episode.
- 26:26Speaker 3: Any other fun facts? How about the oldest to ever
- 26:28Speaker 3: win the award of sexiest manage?
- 26:33Speaker 2: Can you give us a hint?
- 26:37Speaker 1: Why not?
- 26:39Speaker 3: Uh, he's not from America, Anthony?
- 26:44Speaker 1: Is it? David Beckham oldest?
- 26:47Speaker 2: It's not even old.
- 26:48Speaker 1: Now, I don't know.
- 26:52Speaker 6: It was old Liam Neeson he was.
- 26:54Speaker 3: Old at the time. Richard Gear he has since past.
- 27:01Speaker 5: Not Robert Redford, Patrick Pat guy from Boy Meets World.
- 27:06Speaker 6: The William Daniels, Yes, Daniels, who's never sexist?
- 27:11Speaker 1: Man?
- 27:13Speaker 3: That sad statement?
- 27:16Speaker 6: The voice of that record.
- 27:19Speaker 3: How was William Daniels never sexs mad?
- 27:22Speaker 1: Unfortunate Mark noting.
- 27:26Speaker 6: There's still time he is still with us.
- 27:28Speaker 1: Honestly, he hasn't died.
- 27:30Speaker 7: Oh, I say I missed that because we Yeah, he is.
- 27:37Speaker 3: He's very much with his ninety seven.
- 27:39Speaker 1: Oh my god, there's still.
- 27:42Speaker 3: That was a terrible guest for about five different reasons.
- 27:45Speaker 1: Uh.
- 27:46Speaker 3: He he played James Bond.
- 27:48Speaker 6: That's your big That was my next guest. I know who.
- 27:51Speaker 3: No, he's still alive too, Craig.
- 27:54Speaker 1: Oh, I'm sorry, I forgot. Well you got me thrown
- 27:58Speaker 1: off with mister Poe.
- 28:00Speaker 3: Then who is it?
- 28:01Speaker 1: It is?
- 28:02Speaker 3: You're Timothy now Sean Connery. Sean Connery was fifty nine
- 28:07Speaker 3: when he won the award in nineteen eighty nine.
- 28:10Speaker 2: He has passed as his prime.
- 28:13Speaker 3: And the other one who has passed was the youngest
- 28:16Speaker 3: ever to win the award.
- 28:18Speaker 2: Oh, Matt Miller.
- 28:21Speaker 3: Mac Miller did not wine.
- 28:25Speaker 1: Just thrown out names, just thrown out names of people.
- 28:29Speaker 3: At least Mac has passed. That's at least accurate.
- 28:32Speaker 1: Patrick Swayzey.
- 28:34Speaker 3: Nope, the three have passed. Bieber, Connery, Swayzey and this
- 28:39Speaker 3: Sorry we talking about the youngest way back in eighty eight.
- 28:43Speaker 2: This one was not given the crown.
- 28:46Speaker 3: Yes, your hint is he is a junior.
- 28:49Speaker 2: Robert Downey Jr.
- 28:50Speaker 3: Nope.
- 28:52Speaker 6: John F. Kennedy.
- 28:53Speaker 3: That is correct. Oh yeah, John F. Kennedy, jun.
- 28:57Speaker 2: I would never have guessed that.
- 28:58Speaker 1: I just looked at the list, So that's why it's
- 29:00Speaker 1: fresh on my mind.
- 29:02Speaker 6: Have they ever given it to like not a real
- 29:03Speaker 6: person like has like alf ever gotten.
- 29:06Speaker 3: It or anything? One year they gave it to sexiest Couple.
- 29:09Speaker 3: Richard Gere and Cindy Crawford won the Sexiest Couple in
- 29:11Speaker 3: ninety three. That is Richard Gear's first of his two wins.
- 29:14Speaker 3: Also did the Rock win it the Rock one in
- 29:17Speaker 3: twenty sixteen. In twenty fourteen they also declared Sexiest Woman Alive.
- 29:23Speaker 3: To go along with Chris Hemsworth as Sexiest Man. Kate
- 29:25Speaker 3: Upton was given Sexiest Woman Alive. They have not done
- 29:28Speaker 3: that since before.
- 29:29Speaker 1: Probably smart of them. There's something fun about it being
- 29:34Speaker 1: men really as opposed to objectifying like women and people
- 29:39Speaker 1: fighting if they're beautiful or not.
- 29:41Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 29:42Speaker 1: Fair, and I don't know if that's fair, right, exactly
- 29:46Speaker 1: fair right, right, it's not fair, but it's fair. It's
- 29:50Speaker 1: not a superfood and it's a superman. That's different. It's
- 29:56Speaker 1: not fair, but it's different.
- 29:59Speaker 2: Actually, yeah, it's a super food.
- 30:04Speaker 1: That's not the same.
- 30:05Speaker 2: I need it to be, so I have a confession
- 30:08Speaker 2: to make.
- 30:09Speaker 1: No, no, no, no, no, let's hear when we come back.
- 30:30Speaker 1: These are my confessions.
- 30:32Speaker 2: Just when the thought I said, all I can say,
- 30:35Speaker 2: what is it? She come inside, says, she goes, there's no.
- 30:39Speaker 6: Oh my gosh, oh my god.
- 30:43Speaker 1: Yes it is that's the lyrics.
- 30:44Speaker 6: No, it is not the lyrics.
- 30:47Speaker 1: Not it has never been. Is No, it's not.
- 30:53Speaker 3: First of all, she comments on the side.
- 30:59Speaker 6: On the same album, on Burned, I used to say,
- 31:02Speaker 6: can't you feel me the seamen her about it?
- 31:06Speaker 2: Wait, what is the actual lyrics?
- 31:08Speaker 6: See me and her? Yeah, it's awesome.
- 31:13Speaker 5: She could come inside like she come inside, like she
- 31:16Speaker 5: came into the room and said she has one on
- 31:18Speaker 5: the way, that's a lyric in there.
- 31:23Speaker 3: And she got and she got one on the way.
- 31:27Speaker 1: That commercial, crucial lyrical.
- 31:35Speaker 2: You get wrong this entire time.
- 31:38Speaker 1: The confidence with the space onuns no one prepares you.
- 31:42Speaker 7: You know, the eye contact too, know what you're looking
- 31:46Speaker 7: at me smiling space onun singing.
- 31:49Speaker 1: She came in and side coming side.
- 31:53Speaker 2: Said she had one all the way.
- 31:55Speaker 1: Anyways, before we took a break, you said you had
- 31:58Speaker 1: a confession.
- 31:59Speaker 2: Yes, is that No, that.
- 32:01Speaker 5: Is not it so I it's embarrassing to admit because
- 32:06Speaker 5: I feel.
- 32:07Speaker 1: Like you're fine right now, that's all good.
- 32:09Speaker 5: Nothing you say, we're good because everybody's like so obsessed
- 32:14Speaker 5: and like so excited about this movie coming out, and
- 32:18Speaker 5: I have never seen Wicked.
- 32:20Speaker 1: M I actually have a lot of people in my
- 32:23Speaker 1: life that haven't seen Wicked.
- 32:25Speaker 3: I think a lot of people don't go to Broadway
- 32:27Speaker 3: shows type shows, live theater, but.
- 32:29Speaker 5: It feels like it's so iconic and everybody's like so excited,
- 32:33Speaker 5: and everybody's wearing like green and pink as like.
- 32:36Speaker 1: He knows word green just I've had this way before.
- 32:38Speaker 2: Not in honor of the movie coming out.
- 32:40Speaker 3: It's also anything that you put the same vowel sound
- 32:42Speaker 3: in green and pink? Is it green and pink? Like
- 32:46Speaker 3: they're the same, Like they rhyme? Those words don't rhyme.
- 32:51Speaker 5: I thought you were wearing it as like an homage
- 32:53Speaker 5: to Sure, yeah the Witch.
- 32:57Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 32:58Speaker 1: So here's the thing I think going.
- 33:00Speaker 2: I know which one was Alphaba and which one's Glinda.
- 33:04Speaker 2: I am I supposed to.
- 33:06Speaker 6: There's a lot of there's a little movie that comes before.
- 33:13Speaker 3: That's a big deal.
- 33:14Speaker 2: Since I was like five, I.
- 33:15Speaker 1: Think, why you know the general.
- 33:19Speaker 2: Yellow Big Road and like the guy needs a heart.
- 33:23Speaker 6: Ya ya YadA, they go back to Kansas.
- 33:26Speaker 1: Correct, You're going to love Wicked really in like I
- 33:32Speaker 1: think just the the story, the creativity of coming up
- 33:35Speaker 1: with the story of the Witches is like one of
- 33:38Speaker 1: my favorite things ever.
- 33:39Speaker 2: Like when you and Haley were the Wicked Girl, you
- 33:42Speaker 2: were just like what, I didn't get it? And I
- 33:44Speaker 2: was like I don't get it.
- 33:45Speaker 1: But we were thinking there there's gonna be like a
- 33:47Speaker 1: w l W relationship storyline. Sure, still not sure?
- 33:53Speaker 2: Sure is it?
- 33:57Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 33:58Speaker 2: Still not sure?
- 33:59Speaker 5: But I remember being like I don't get it. And
- 34:02Speaker 5: then I went a mom on my way, Well.
- 34:06Speaker 1: Can I say that that doesn't surprise me?
- 34:10Speaker 2: Wow?
- 34:12Speaker 1: And I think you're okay because I have quite a
- 34:14Speaker 1: few people in my life who also haven't seen.
- 34:15Speaker 2: It, so kind of like shamed and like a shame.
- 34:18Speaker 1: There's not a way for you to watch the show, like,
- 34:20Speaker 1: believe me. During COVID we tried to find like a
- 34:23Speaker 1: pirated illegal version of the plane to watch because we
- 34:26Speaker 1: wanted to watch it so badly.
- 34:28Speaker 3: Nothing on YouTube.
- 34:28Speaker 1: You can't find it. No, like they have clips, but
- 34:30Speaker 1: not like a word, it's not a shaky camera, you know,
- 34:33Speaker 1: because you're not allowed to write, and so unless you've
- 34:37Speaker 1: gone to New York or you've had a cast that
- 34:39Speaker 1: came to the first time I ever saw it was
- 34:41Speaker 1: in San Diego and I was like blown away.
- 34:44Speaker 2: And then I ever had that moment, I feel like
- 34:47Speaker 2: very it's like sad.
- 34:48Speaker 1: Well, no, it's going to be amazing for you.
- 34:51Speaker 2: Watching wah my gosh.
- 34:53Speaker 1: Yeah. And then we had to go see Alive.
- 34:54Speaker 2: I saw John m chwo. Isn't that the director?
- 34:58Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 34:58Speaker 1: Yeahchoo.
- 34:59Speaker 5: He did like he was doing before. I went and
- 35:02Speaker 5: saw Red One this weekend.
- 35:03Speaker 6: Oh yeah, now we're talking.
- 35:07Speaker 1: That is Red One's Chris Evans Rock.
- 35:11Speaker 5: Rock and they're saving Santa the Red One. I have
- 35:16Speaker 5: two boys to chill, two children boys in my life.
- 35:19Speaker 6: So yeah.
- 35:23Speaker 5: But he did like a thing before what are they
- 35:25Speaker 5: called previews, and he was talking about how excited he
- 35:28Speaker 5: was for people to see it in the movie theater
- 35:31Speaker 5: because you get to like feel it, and like, I.
- 35:35Speaker 3: Don't go to movie theaters ever. I can't wait to
- 35:37Speaker 3: see Wicked in the theater.
- 35:38Speaker 1: Yes, yeah, I can't wait.
- 35:40Speaker 2: But I know the songs.
- 35:42Speaker 1: That's good.
- 35:42Speaker 3: Yeah, that's a plus. Yeah, we saw it the Pantagious
- 35:45Speaker 3: many years ago, and then my kids were in a
- 35:48Speaker 3: children's production of it that was very cute. And then
- 35:50Speaker 3: we're going to see that the Patages again next month. Wow,
- 35:53Speaker 3: so right after we see the movie, we're gonna go
- 35:54Speaker 3: see it to see you wait, when is it? When
- 35:57Speaker 3: are we going?
- 35:58Speaker 1: Well? When are they here?
- 35:59Speaker 5: When at the Pantages you need to I've never been
- 36:02Speaker 5: to the Pantagious theater And wow, that's either I know,
- 36:06Speaker 5: and like I feel like I would love this, Like
- 36:08Speaker 5: I feel like I would really enjoy it, but I'm
- 36:10Speaker 5: so out of the loop, like I don't even know
- 36:12Speaker 5: like what's playing there?
- 36:13Speaker 2: When's it playing? Like what's good? When do you see?
- 36:14Speaker 2: What do you see?
- 36:15Speaker 1: We're gonna go and.
- 36:17Speaker 5: And I really want to see like the Nutcracker, like
- 36:19Speaker 5: I haven't seen like a ballet in decades.
- 36:21Speaker 1: I'll let you go someone else to go.
- 36:26Speaker 6: Cracker last year was very so joyful.
- 36:30Speaker 2: It's like so holiday spirited, wicked?
- 36:32Speaker 3: Is it? The Pantage is December fourth through February second,
- 36:34Speaker 3: So you got a nice runner.
- 36:36Speaker 1: How you feel about musicals is how I feel about
- 36:39Speaker 1: like you going to the Allergen just like so out
- 36:43Speaker 1: of out of the list.
- 36:45Speaker 2: That is such a bad correlation.
- 36:48Speaker 1: That's like literally how I feel.
- 36:49Speaker 5: No, because the Pantage like plays, people go and see plays.
- 36:53Speaker 3: If people don't know, that is our Broadway in Los Angeles,
- 36:55Speaker 3: the Pantagious Theater. Anything that tours comes through there and
- 36:59Speaker 3: showing you mark either I've seen Lion King there, I've
- 37:01Speaker 3: inen Mama Mia there, Wicked, I've seen a lot once.
- 37:04Speaker 3: I've seen so many shows there.
- 37:06Speaker 6: Yeah, from Margaritaville.
- 37:08Speaker 3: I saw six there that was awesome. We saw that.
- 37:12Speaker 3: It was great.
- 37:13Speaker 1: Maybe you should get on a mailer list for the
- 37:15Speaker 1: Pantagous and you know you're in the know of what's
- 37:18Speaker 1: going on.
- 37:18Speaker 2: And do the show start at like times like movies.
- 37:21Speaker 3: No, they're usually one matinee on like a Sunday afternoon
- 37:25Speaker 3: and the rest are evening shows. Just one day.
- 37:27Speaker 1: I'm just doing back to back every two hours.
- 37:31Speaker 2: Yeah, it's one show a night.
- 37:33Speaker 3: One show a night, usually around seven thirty, six thirty
- 37:36Speaker 3: on Sundays. I'm looking at Wicked right here. They do
- 37:38Speaker 3: have a matinee on Thursdays and Saturdays.
- 37:41Speaker 2: It looks like that's good for you love a moutinee.
- 37:43Speaker 1: Yeah, so there's something for everyone there. At the Pantagious.
- 37:47Speaker 2: Yeah, so you've been to the Pantages.
- 37:49Speaker 1: No, but I've been to a Broadway I've been to
- 37:51Speaker 1: a show.
- 37:55Speaker 3: You've been to New York a lot. It's supprised you
- 37:56Speaker 3: haven't been to a Broadway show.
- 37:58Speaker 2: I didn't known to New York that much.
- 38:01Speaker 5: No, No, I could count on like two hands so
- 38:04Speaker 5: less than less intent enough times.
- 38:07Speaker 1: I don't think that's true.
- 38:08Speaker 3: I don't think that's true either.
- 38:10Speaker 2: That's very true.
- 38:11Speaker 3: I think maybe time for like jingle Balls alone, haven't you.
- 38:14Speaker 2: Yeah, but then they fly you on and they fly
- 38:16Speaker 2: you right back.
- 38:16Speaker 3: It's still going to New York.
- 38:18Speaker 2: I'm fair.
- 38:19Speaker 1: I'm just saying the next time you go to New York,
- 38:21Speaker 1: I would look up and see what shows are playing
- 38:24Speaker 1: and go see a Broadway show. It is incredible. I
- 38:28Speaker 1: highly recommend you'll love it. I'm shocked and like someone
- 38:31Speaker 1: who would just I will love Lion King.
- 38:34Speaker 2: You know they're breaking a new one.
- 38:36Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm not thrilled about that. What I'm not. I'm
- 38:39Speaker 3: done with new things of old things.
- 38:42Speaker 6: Other story, mufasa.
- 38:43Speaker 5: No, I don't want I don't And he's always wanted
- 38:46Speaker 5: a brother.
- 38:46Speaker 6: He's always wanted a brother.
- 38:48Speaker 3: I mean, I sounds hypocritical, because that's what wicked is.
- 38:50Speaker 3: Wicked is the origin story of the Wicked Witch. By
- 38:53Speaker 3: the way that you don't remember from Wizard of Oz,
- 38:55Speaker 3: it's her origin story correct, So I guess I shouldn't
- 38:58Speaker 3: say I don't. I'm sick of those, but I'm kind
- 38:59Speaker 3: of those I don't care about moufassa.
- 39:04Speaker 1: I have a question. This is so random, but I
- 39:06Speaker 1: was thinking about it watching Friends last night. You know
- 39:09Speaker 1: the place in uh, boy meets World when they're like
- 39:13Speaker 1: in college and they're hanging out in kind of like
- 39:15Speaker 1: the college area. Is that the same studio set as
- 39:19Speaker 1: Gilmour Girls, as Friend Central perk?
- 39:23Speaker 6: I know, I don't.
- 39:24Speaker 1: Did I say.
- 39:26Speaker 6: Sorry right before we do this podcast as recording plod
- 39:28Speaker 6: meets World and I heard radio podcast and we're just
- 39:30Speaker 6: talking about that set.
- 39:32Speaker 3: So let me text.
- 39:34Speaker 1: Because there's a door. This is so strange, but the
- 39:38Speaker 1: way I remember that set up a Boy Meets World,
- 39:40Speaker 1: there's like a random door on the side, and in Friends,
- 39:43Speaker 1: I'm always like, where does that door go to? I
- 39:45Speaker 1: think it's just a storage closet because one time, when
- 39:48Speaker 1: Monica and Chandler are sneaking around, they like come out
- 39:50Speaker 1: of it all like disheveled. But that's the only time
- 39:52Speaker 1: they use that.
- 39:53Speaker 2: Door in their apartment.
- 39:55Speaker 1: No, no, no, in central perk, like off to the side.
- 39:58Speaker 1: I don't know this is so, but I was thinking
- 40:01Speaker 1: Easton might know because of I'm going to find out
- 40:03Speaker 1: his proximity to the Boy Meets World.
- 40:05Speaker 3: Are you texting someone from the cast of Boy Meets World?
- 40:07Speaker 6: I'm texting Wilfred Dell, who played Air Come.
- 40:11Speaker 1: Cool.
- 40:11Speaker 6: He remembers the set details very clearly.
- 40:14Speaker 1: Okay, let me know because I I've been thinking about
- 40:17Speaker 1: it for two nights now because we go to sleep
- 40:18Speaker 1: watching friends.
- 40:19Speaker 6: I did just get an answer. It was not it's
- 40:21Speaker 6: not the same thing.
- 40:27Speaker 1: It was more dis like, did they use the same
- 40:32Speaker 1: So Easton and I had a similar weekend plans. Mine
- 40:37Speaker 1: was on Friday night. You had Sunday night. Oh yeah,
- 40:40Speaker 1: we went to Sabrina Carpenter.
- 40:41Speaker 3: Hio True and Sweet Tour.
- 40:46Speaker 1: Because you have the merch on. Tell us about your experience.
- 40:49Speaker 6: We're in the merch Allison really wanted to go, as
- 40:51Speaker 6: did I, and we were lucky a friend got us
- 40:54Speaker 6: tickets at the last minute. So we were whale watching
- 40:58Speaker 6: yesterday in Newport with my uncle and stuff, and uh,
- 41:01Speaker 6: we're watching these beautiful humpback whales like jumping out of
- 41:04Speaker 6: the water. And then I get the ding of the
- 41:06Speaker 6: ticket beach. Yeah, I got on the close. Yeah it was.
- 41:10Speaker 6: It was awesome. And I get it a little ding
- 41:11Speaker 6: on my phone. It's like, hey, you got tickets for
- 41:13Speaker 6: a dinner. It's like, oh, yeah, it was. Whales are cool. Okay,
- 41:16Speaker 6: like turn its boat around, but uh, we went.
- 41:19Speaker 3: It was.
- 41:20Speaker 6: I mean, everyone's saying it. It's the best show ever.
- 41:23Speaker 6: It's incredible. She does these like vignettes throughout the show
- 41:27Speaker 6: with this really unique vintage style. It's so cool. It's
- 41:31Speaker 6: so great. The energy maintains the entire time. There's not
- 41:35Speaker 6: a dull moment. The costumes are incredible, the dancing is amazing.
- 41:39Speaker 1: She's she is a pop.
- 41:41Speaker 6: Star, a pop star, bona fide pop star.
- 41:43Speaker 3: Yes, central casting like perfect pop star, perfect pop star.
- 41:48Speaker 3: Yeah she is. I maintained Taste would have been a
- 41:51Speaker 3: hit in any decade that song.
- 41:54Speaker 1: Is on he always goes I wish I wrote that song. Yeah,
- 41:57Speaker 1: I would.
- 41:58Speaker 3: Have eighties, nineties, two thousands, so good, always a hit.
- 42:02Speaker 1: Well we went to the Crypto you were at four,
- 42:04Speaker 1: which I don't know why.
- 42:05Speaker 2: They did that one night, two nights, Oh, I see.
- 42:09Speaker 6: And somebody thought was kind of fine. As there's a
- 42:11Speaker 6: part where she has like a mug for when she
- 42:13Speaker 6: sings espresso and it said Inglewood on the mug instead
- 42:16Speaker 6: of Los Angeles. That was really exciting out there, you know.
- 42:21Speaker 1: Well, at our show, she went to do her cover song.
- 42:25Speaker 1: You know, she does a cover yeah, and she's like, oh,
- 42:28Speaker 1: Christina aguilar or what a girl want? And I was
- 42:30Speaker 1: like so excited to I got my phone off to
- 42:32Speaker 1: film it, and then Christina Aguilera is on stage and
- 42:36Speaker 1: it was like insane the crowd and I wonder if
- 42:41Speaker 1: Christina Aguilera, like she's our generation, you know, and there
- 42:45Speaker 1: were so many young little kids there at Sabrina show.
- 42:48Speaker 2: So you don't think they knew who she was.
- 42:49Speaker 1: I wonder if she's thinking I want as if she
- 42:52Speaker 1: has like imposter syndrome and thinks like are they going
- 42:54Speaker 1: to go crazy? Are they going to be like who?
- 42:56Speaker 1: And it went insane.
- 42:59Speaker 5: Well, you know, Sabrina was on Christina Aguilera's like Christmas
- 43:03Speaker 5: thing whatever. Yeah, yeah, yeah, so she was probably like yeah,
- 43:06Speaker 5: I'll do you this solid, I'll come on your thing.
- 43:08Speaker 5: Can you do me a solid and come out to
- 43:10Speaker 5: my show?
- 43:11Speaker 1: I had full body cho That's where conversations go.
- 43:14Speaker 2: Yeah, I'll do you the solid if you do me
- 43:16Speaker 2: the siet.
- 43:16Speaker 1: Yeah, probably just like that.
- 43:18Speaker 3: I love those moments.
- 43:19Speaker 1: It was so iconic and she looks she looks like
- 43:23Speaker 1: two thousand.
- 43:24Speaker 3: Two thousand and East had a special guest as well,
- 43:28Speaker 3: Marcello Hernandez from Saturday Night.
- 43:30Speaker 6: That's the Mango character. I heard a hint. They're like,
- 43:33Speaker 6: the surprise tonight is going to be insane. Everyone's gonna
- 43:35Speaker 6: lose their mind. So I'm like, oh my god, who's
- 43:36Speaker 6: gonna christiangea Lear came outlast night? Who's going to come out?
- 43:39Speaker 6: And then it was Domingo messing out? But the place
- 43:42Speaker 6: did go and say place with nuts. It was so
- 43:44Speaker 6: fine because Allison showed me the Domingo sketch and then
- 43:47Speaker 6: he was on the screen. She's like, who is that?
- 43:49Speaker 6: It's Domingo, that's him, She's google it.
- 43:52Speaker 2: I was like, who is this? I have no idea
- 43:54Speaker 2: who he was.
- 43:54Speaker 1: Oh yeah, I don't know what I was talking about.
- 43:56Speaker 5: Wow.
- 43:58Speaker 3: About a month ago with rende Is holestated a sketch
- 44:01Speaker 3: called Domingo where a bunch of bridesmaids sing to the
- 44:05Speaker 3: bride a song about there to the tune of Espresso. Yeah.
- 44:10Speaker 3: I saw that that. Yeah, that she cheated with Domingo
- 44:12Speaker 3: basically and wait what And then this past Saturday night
- 44:16Speaker 3: they did it again, similar with Charlie XCX. Now it's
- 44:18Speaker 3: their baby shower and they do another song too Hot to.
- 44:21Speaker 1: Go, oh am I and oh cute.
- 44:26Speaker 3: And so it's very viral and it's very fun and
- 44:28Speaker 3: like even my daughter was like, oh my gosh, that's
- 44:30Speaker 3: the funniest thing I've ever seen about the first one. Anyway,
- 44:33Speaker 3: so I think that's a really big differ.
- 44:34Speaker 1: She doesn't know my ginger chan.
- 44:37Speaker 5: She does this thing where like when she does like
- 44:40Speaker 5: the handcuffs the bedcm like if there's like somebody very face,
- 44:43Speaker 5: like Millie Bobby Brown did it once. Of course she
- 44:44Speaker 5: was also I think she had space bunds.
- 44:46Speaker 3: Anybody remembers, not really relevant to this.
- 44:49Speaker 5: Okay, anyways, Yeah, so she was like, did it with
- 44:51Speaker 5: Millie Bobby Brown at one of her stops, okay, And
- 44:54Speaker 5: then she did the same thing with Domingo got last
- 44:57Speaker 5: night at the But I didn't know either.
- 44:59Speaker 2: I was like, who is it guy, Well.
- 45:01Speaker 1: I did when she did the cover? What cover did
- 45:04Speaker 1: she do for y'all?
- 45:05Speaker 6: Mama Mia?
- 45:05Speaker 1: So on the screen? Did it have like karaoke?
- 45:09Speaker 6: Yes?
- 45:09Speaker 1: Okay, because we we thought did they put karaoke words
- 45:15Speaker 1: for what a girl wants? Because they're like maybe, But
- 45:19Speaker 1: I realized she does that for every cover she does.
- 45:21Speaker 6: Yeah. I like to think so, because I had the
- 45:23Speaker 6: same thought though for a moment, I was like, oh
- 45:25Speaker 6: do people don't know mama?
- 45:26Speaker 1: Yeah, okay, that makes me feel better. But yeah, it was.
- 45:29Speaker 1: It was crazy. It was iconic.
- 45:32Speaker 2: She is an icon.
- 45:33Speaker 1: She she's an icon, she's a legend, she is a
- 45:35Speaker 1: moment and she I couldn't be more honored that I
- 45:39Speaker 1: threw up off screen in front of her. Like, had
- 45:46Speaker 1: I known this the level that she would be on? Yeah, differently, Yeah,
- 45:53Speaker 1: you know I would have limited.
- 45:54Speaker 2: My uh the old I don't think so, do you?
- 46:02Speaker 1: If I had known period? First of all, if I
- 46:05Speaker 1: knew that that was the state I was getting towards
- 46:07Speaker 1: at that point, I would have That's.
- 46:09Speaker 5: The whole thing, is what I'm saying. You don't know
- 46:11Speaker 5: you're at that state until you're in that state.
- 46:13Speaker 1: Until you're out of the pool. Correct, Yeah, Anyways, I
- 46:17Speaker 1: just I love that people were messaging me and they're like,
- 46:20Speaker 1: I don't think I ever put it together that that's
- 46:23Speaker 1: who y'all were interviewing. Oh when that happened.
- 46:25Speaker 5: Yeah, so people might forget, but I mean I have
- 46:29Speaker 5: been on the Sabrina Carpenter bandwagon since literally.
- 46:32Speaker 1: What's the wagon?
- 46:34Speaker 5: I've been on the train since twenty fourteen. I have
- 46:37Speaker 5: been riding and dying with this pop star for quite
- 46:40Speaker 5: some time. She has been on scrubbing In multiple times.
- 46:43Speaker 5: I have interviewed her for several kiss things. They flew
- 46:46Speaker 5: me out to New York for one of her album
- 46:48Speaker 5: release parties to host it. Yeah, so you heard it
- 46:52Speaker 5: here first. Scrubbing In knows the pop stars.
- 46:57Speaker 1: That's all right. Yeah, she was on our podcasts three times.
- 47:00Speaker 2: Literally, wow, I think more.
- 47:01Speaker 1: Before they were short and sweet, they're scrubbing In exactly.
- 47:06Speaker 2: So just just let everybody know that's listening.
- 47:09Speaker 1: Yeah, please go back and listen to those episodes.
- 47:12Speaker 5: Do you know anything that's happening like what we're talking
- 47:15Speaker 5: about right now might be really cool in like ten years.
- 47:19Speaker 1: Yeah, we're we're ahead of the curve, head of the curve,
- 47:22Speaker 1: so behind that we're ahead sametimes exactly. And that's about it.
- 47:27Speaker 2: That's about it.
- 47:28Speaker 1: That's all we have for today. Well, I have to
- 47:30Speaker 1: go because it's time for me to get ready for
- 47:31Speaker 1: the Gladiator premiere.
- 47:33Speaker 2: On my head is running her a little bit now.
- 47:35Speaker 6: Yeah, gott get fitted for your toga and everything.
- 47:37Speaker 1: I assume I'm not wearing a toga it's just toga
- 47:40Speaker 1: inspired dress. Wow, but it's not actual.
- 47:42Speaker 2: Wait, who's going with you?
- 47:44Speaker 1: Taylor Banks?
- 47:45Speaker 3: Okay, okay, radiator sandals? I'm sorry, gladiator sandals.
- 47:49Speaker 1: You know, no, but a heel inspired by a gladiator?
- 47:54Speaker 1: Are you lying right? That's all you talk to? Tea
