  Yeah, it was, it was a great experience I think here for a

  lot of people in the in the States.

  I want to know what your guys's overall opinion on the World Cup

  was and how you thought we handled it.

  But it was a it was a lot of fun, just all these people

  coming together and then celebrating the the great game.

  We had a lot of fantastic matchups, great, some great

  storylines. So yeah, let just let me know

  what you're you thought of the World Cup and if you're you're

  excited for the the next one. Flashback a little bit to that

  Argentina and England game that we took place last Wednesday.

  And it was just especially with how Argentina played in the the
• 2:55
  final. I'm still a little surprised
• 2:57
  that England lost this one. They I mean like I on paper
• 3:05
  Argentina is probably the better team.

  England really like even with how Argentina played in that
• 3:11
  game, I feel like England probably should have won this
• 3:13
  one. Like a lot of Argentina lacked a
• 3:16
  lot of aggression early on and it was mostly England had a lot
• 3:22
  of the momentum for for most of this game.
• 3:25
  And then right around the the 70th minute, it all just pretty
• 3:31
  much flipped back towards Argentina's way and they
• 3:34
  controlled it the the whole game.

  I do think they got England got too complacent.
• 3:42
  They got their goal in the 55th minute and they decided that
• 3:47
  their whole strategy was to sit back and play defense for the
• 3:52
  rest of the match. Don't think that was the move
• 3:56
  from them there. I really think they should have
• 3:58
  been looking to go for a kill shot, especially with how
• 4:03
  Argentina kept coming back and all of these games, you know,
• 4:08
  defending world champs like you want them, you want to be keep
• 4:12
  your your foot on the gas. You want to try to go for for a
• 4:17
  kill shot. And a lot of people, myself
• 4:20
  included, believe that they kind of got were scared to win.

  So tough loss for them there. But they did get third place,
• 4:29
  you know, give them give them their flowers.

  The 3rd place game was so really exciting mostly because nobody
• 4:38
  was playing defense because it was basically just a friendly
• 4:41
  match. Six to four just absolute heater

  between France and England. I had Killian them bop a scoring
• 4:54
  two goals becoming the World Cups old all time leader and
• 4:57
  goal scored Bradley bar Barcola getting one for France and Usim
• 5:06
  and Dembele getting a lot getting one as well and that an
• 5:09
  extra time. Yet Tecklin Rice get one like
• 5:14
  within the first 3 minutes. Bakoyos Stocka with the hot
• 5:20
  trick, Erzi Korsa, who I've never heard of before getting
• 5:25
  one as well and for English and then she's Bellingham, I think
• 5:30
  becomes the the English men's all time leader and and goal
• 5:37
  scorer might have just been their leader in this tournament,
• 5:39
  but he set some sort of World Cup record for the English team
• 5:45
  with his goal that he got in the 90th minute.
• 5:47
  Really cool thing that he did for his teammate there, letting
• 5:51
  him go and shoot the penalty kick even and and get his hat
• 5:56
  trick and be a potentially miss out on the chance to get their
• 5:59
  record. And then he ended up just going
• 6:01
  and scoring one anyway. So that was really awesome for
• 6:06
  him. And I would say, I mean, he
• 6:12
  that's, you know, I'll be the the new face of the English
• 6:15
  team. I believe he he he seemed to
• 6:18
  really carry England in this World Cup.

  I know Harry Kane's been their their top guy on that squad for
• 6:27
  a while, but it's, you know, Kane's kind of rolling the back
• 6:31
  end of his career. And then Bellingham is really
• 6:35
  he's going to be the new face of face of England.
• 6:39
  So it's not cut. You know, they're going to the
• 6:42
  the Brits are going to have to wait another four years to see
• 6:45
  if it's, it's actually coming home.

  But we'll go now ahead to that game on Sunday, Spain versus
• 6:57
  Argentina and I, Argentina hadn't attempted a shot on goal

  until extra time. If so, I'm not really sure what

  they were doing. Shout out to Spain's defense.

  But yeah, I like the Argentina just was getting blanked that

  entire time. The Spanish team did really have
• 7:28
  control of the ball. And I mean, they cut off a lot
• 7:31
  of good opportunities for Argentina.

  But yeah, I mean, this really looked like a team that I don't
• 7:40
  think Argentina too much got tested this tournament and the
• 7:44
  the Spanish team was absolutely unreal.

  And there's turning them in. It's honestly not a surprise

  that they want it at all. And I think a lot of they got
• 7:57
  kind of dismissed after they, they drew against Cabo Verde and

  a lot of people said, Oh, well, Spain's not, you know, but

  they're not ready for the tournament of the team's not
• 8:12
  there yet, but that I think that was a little a great awakening

  for them. And they were, they were locked
• 8:20
  in the rest of this tournament. They had some great goaltending
• 8:25
  from Uni Simone in this tournament.

  I believe he I don't know what all the awards are.

  I'm, I'm still learning the old soccer and FIFA thing, but he

  won whatever the, the best goalie award is called for the

  tournament. And I am rightfully so.

  Spain only conceded one goal this entire tournament.

  And he was a big part or he was a, he was a big reason because

  of that. But they just are.

  So they're very quick and they're so aggressive and they

  take they take the, the ball a lot and they're just really good

  at keeping it on your, your side and keeping it away from their

  goal in general. And yeah, they, they just, they,

  they don't really allow like those those cross passes to to

  hurt them. They were, I think it was just

  some pure defensive dominance through and through from Spain,

  money, but that that kind of diminishes the whole legacy of

  fine if they have WWE on there. They just they they keep laying

  off all their good journalists and it's they, they seem to just

  want to hire Cliff farmers, which are guys like Stephen A

  if you're going to ESPN for Sports News, you're in the wrong

  spot. Like they're.

  like screaming at each other. So I would say if you're going

  to ESPN for Sports News, you're in the wrong spot.

  There's plenty of independence, you know, like, like podcasters

  and creators and and journalists that cover it.

  And I would just, yeah, I I would trust, I would trust a lot

  of other networks before, before ESPN at this point, they're

  basically only good for the actually having live sports on

  and their websites still pretty good for your like statistics,

  rosters and that type of stuff. But like as a, as a Sports News

  outlet, I don't very, I don't rely on that very, very much

  anymore. I just they're they're good for

  the live sports and for and for every statistics that type of
• 14:33
  stuff yeah. I think pod, you know, just

  podcasting and and independent sports media is going to really,

  it's going to find the spot though, because like it's people

  that are really like they're actually passionate and that

  aren't just like trying to do whatever they can to make suits

  in the boardroom happy. Or you can you tell you can tell

  like you can find, like you see that reflected in their work and

  what they do and like that they actually care about covering the
• 15:11
  sport and giving, you know, well thought out and well constructed

  opinions on on the set sport rather than just trying to
• 15:24
  generate clips or just to be marker the bull or to, you know,
• 15:30
  fills to be allowed to fill space so you can sell ad time.

  So shout out to all the the independent creators just in

  general, because a lot of what we do is, or a lot of the media

  we consume is heavily watered down and just just just watered

  down really from big conglomerates and, and

  companies. When you really try it, like

  when you really look up a lot, they're like most, most medias

  are and, and everything is just owned by like the same six

  companies. There's just a lot of

  subsidiaries out there. So I think independent creators

  are are first of all, they're good because, and we need to

  support them because if they go away, then there's nobody to
• 16:23
  keep these big massive networks and and companies honest and to

  force them to try to put out good content for us.

  little bit more of an effort to to keep up with some some soccer

  here domestically and and across the across the world.

  There was I I see the appeal. I will say, like for a sport,
• 21:32
  when it's boring, it can be really boring, but its highs are
• 21:36
  some of the highs I've seen in in every sport.

  So I mean it's there are definitely moments where both
• 21:44
  teams are just sitting back and just passing the ball around at
• 21:49
  midfield. But when you've got the, he's
• 21:52
  got that action, there's the pressure on goal, but the, the
• 21:57
  incredible shots from distance that the saves, the penalty
• 22:01
  kicks, the drama can be good. And it's also just I, I, I think
• 22:11
  events like the Olympics, the World Cup, stuff like this is
• 22:14
  just awesome. When the world can we all can
• 22:16
  come together and it's, you know, this merging cultures and
• 22:22
  and people from different walks of life getting to know each
• 22:24
  other. And we all get that, you know,
• 22:27
  we can celebrate our teams together.

  And then we also have our yeah, when inevitably some of us, some
• 22:38
  of our people lose, we got our we can share that crushing that
• 22:42
  defeat. We we understand.

  So as it was just the beauty of sports in general is it just

  it's such a it can be such a great unifying thing and it's
• 22:59
  really just a like it just again, it brings people from all
• 23:03
  walks of life together to to get to meet each other and then
• 23:07
  cross paths. And I think that's just a great
• 23:09
  thing for the the whole world. But we were taught question that
• 23:14
  we had for everyone before we went on the break was like, what
• 23:18
  can we do to get the a better talent like feeder program and
• 23:23
  more talents and everything fed up towards the our our men's
• 23:30
  national team. From everything I've been seeing
• 23:35
  online, I, it seems like the big problem here is that our youth
• 23:39
  clubs are that actually travel and compete in very on these,
• 23:47
  these high end matches. And where you would really get a
• 23:51
  lot of good developments and experience to be ready to play
• 23:57
  in or to be good to play in the World Cup, which we see for a
• 24:00
  lot of these star players across, you know, Europe and
• 24:03
  Africa and South America. They all have very strong youth
• 24:07
  soccer programs on the national level.

  And HG. And teams that can go and play.

  The number one question on everybody's mind, do you think

  the steam Spain will be invited to the White House after this

  last week? I don't know.
