- 0:08Jesus met a man born blind and still he couldn't see.
- 0:12The friends that were with Jesus asked him, Lord, how can this?
- 0:15Be. Is this God's way of punishing
- 0:17for? Sins his.
- 0:18Parents did. Or was it him that messed up in
- 0:21the womb? That crazy kid and Jesus said
- 0:26God. Didn't do this.
- 0:27Everybody sins. If God made people blind when
- 0:30they did wrong, you'd be like him.
- 0:32I'll show you what God does. I've come to do God's work
- 0:35today. He spit upon the ground and made
- 0:39a mud pie out of clay. Then Jesus took the mud pie,
- 0:43rubbed it on the blind man's eyes.
- 0:45Now go and wash off in the pool. And much to his surprise, when
- 0:49he had washed the mud pie off, the blindness washed off too.
- 0:53His eyes were healed. Now he could see that God is
- 0:57good. Can you?
- 0:58I love mud pies. I love my pies because when I
- 1:03wash them off my eyes, that's when I can finally see all that
- 1:06Jesus did for me. When his neighbors saw him, they
- 1:11said hey it. Can't be.
- 1:12True, I don't even know your name.
- 1:15I just know what you do. Aren't you the guy that sat and
- 1:18begged all day 'cause you were blind?
- 1:20Yep, he said. That's me.
- 1:22I used to beg here all the time. Everyone that knew him asked.
- 1:27Hey, how can you see? He answered them the same.
- 1:30Some guy named Jesus came to me. He made a mud pie on the ground
- 1:34and rubbed it on my eyes, then said go wash it off.
- 1:37I did, and now I love mud pies. I love mud pies.
- 1:42I love mud pies because when I wash them off my eyes, that's
- 1:45when I can finally see all that Jesus did for me.
- 1:50Where is this? Jesus, they all asked.
- 1:53He answered. I.
- 1:54Don't know, I washed the mud pie off my eyes and didn't see him
- 1:57go. Most people were just happy that
- 2:01a blind man now could see, but there's always someone in a
- 2:04crowd that seems to disagree. You see, it was the Sabbath day,
- 2:09the day God made to rest. Some people went on crazy making
- 2:14rules that weren't the best. I guess if you make mud pies on
- 2:17the Sabbath, you're a fool. So they took him to the
- 2:20Pharisees, the ones who made the rule.
- 2:23When they heard the story, they asked Hey, how?
- 2:26Can you see? He answered them the same.
- 2:29Some guy named Jesus came to me. He made a mud pie on the ground
- 2:33and rubbed it on my eyes, then said go wash it off.
- 2:36I did, and now I love mud pies. I love mud pies.
- 2:41I love mud pies because when I wash them off my eyes, that's
- 2:45when I can finally see all that Jesus did for me.
- 2:49Well, they said this. Jesus guy, he's not from God,
- 2:52you know. He works on the Sabbath making
- 2:55mud pies. Big no no.
- 2:57How could he do a miracle? He is a man of sin.
- 3:02And so they asked the once blind man.
- 3:04What do you think of him? He sent from God to do God's
- 3:08word. That's what I.
- 3:08Think, he said. They didn't like that answer,
- 3:11not one bit. So then instead they started
- 3:15thinking. Maybe this guy wasn't ever blind
- 3:18and he's been making all this up for this entire time.
- 3:23They called his parents in to ask them if the story's true.
- 3:26Is this year's son. Was he born blind?
- 3:29To see what did he do. Yes.
- 3:31He's our. Son, they answered.
- 3:33He was born blind. It's well known.
- 3:36But we don't know how he can. See Ask.
- 3:39Him, since he's full. Grown so once again the man born
- 3:45blind faced all those Pharisees you are.
- 3:48Blind, we get it, but on this we disagree.
- 3:51God should get the credit, not this Jesus.
- 3:54He's a Sinner. All I.
- 3:56Know, he answered. I can see now I'm the winner.
- 3:59But how? They asked him once again.
- 4:01How? Did he heal your eyes?
- 4:03I told you once, why do you ask? Can you not make mud pies?
- 4:07Is that why you want to know? So you can make some too and do
- 4:11the great things that he does? Is that what you're up to?
- 4:14Well, if they were not mad before, that just made them
- 4:18Stew. Moses heard from God, but who
- 4:20does Jesus listen to? That's strange.
- 4:23The man born blind said. And healing.
- 4:26You don't know a man bore blank and see you think he's not from
- 4:29God. How so?
- 4:31I love mud pies. I love mud pies because when I
- 4:35wash them off my eyes, that's when I can finally see all that
- 4:39Jesus did for me. How dare you talk to us this
- 4:42way? The.
- 4:43Pharisees were hot. Who are you to teach?
- 4:46Us just get out. So out he got.
- 4:52When Jesus heard about the hassle he had just gone through,
- 4:56he found the man and asked. Do you believe in God's Son too?
- 5:00Remember he was blind before, he'd not seen Jesus face.
- 5:04Who is God's Son? He asked the stranger standing
- 5:08full of grace. So Jesus answered, You are.
- 5:11Looking at him with your eyes, Yes, you are talking to him.
- 5:15I'm the one that makes mud pies. Without another thought, the man
- 5:19fell at his feet and said. Lord, I believe in you.
- 5:23He worshiped, bowing down his head.
- 5:26Now you might not believe it, but those Pharisees were near,
- 5:30and Jesus said these next words knowing they would surely hear.
- 5:34There are some that think they see, but they are really blind
- 5:38and those who cannot see, to them I open up their mind so
- 5:42they can see. I am the truth, the life, and
- 5:45yes, the way as they turn and open up their hearts to what I
- 5:49say. The Pharisees then asked them.
- 5:52Are you saying we can't see? So Jesus answered.
- 5:56Here's the reason why you are not free.
- 5:59You think you know it all and that you're oh so very wise.
- 6:03When you don't do what I say, you leave mud pies on your eyes.
- 6:08I love mud pies. I love mud pies because when I
- 6:12wash them off my eyes, that's when I can finally see all that
- 6:15Jesus did for me. There are times we all have mud
- 6:20pies on our eyes. It's true.
- 6:22Like when we have a problem and we don't know what to do.
- 6:26If Jesus were here, he'd know how to wash it all away.
- 6:31Remember, He's the word of God, so read it every day and think
- 6:35about how you can do whatever Jesus did.
- 6:39I know you might be thinking, hell, I'm just a kid.
- 6:45When Jesus lives inside you, then that makes you so much
- 6:49more. He'll help you wash those mud
- 6:51pies off. That's what He's in you for.
- 6:55So why would we love mud pies if we wash them off each day?
- 7:00We love washing mud pies off 'cause that's when we obey.
- 7:06I love mud pies. I love mud pies because when I
- 7:10wash them off my eyes, that's when I can finally see all that
- 7:13Jesus did for me. I love mud pies.
