- 0:28Welcome into a very exciting episode of the scene.
- 0:30I'm your host, Bubba Starts, and with me today is my friend, Kiata Ruiz, from Retirement
- 0:34Protection Solutions.
- 0:35Welcome to the show, Kiata.
- 0:37Thank you so much.
- 0:38Thank you so much for having me here today.
- 0:40Yeah.
- 0:40I don't think you knew you were gonna be on a podcast, so this is great.
- 0:44Yeah.
- 0:44You know, just thinking off the top of the head, you have to be ready.
- 0:47If you stay ready, you don't have to get ready.
- 0:50That's right.
- 0:50And that's how we stay here at the scene all the time.
- 0:53So we're gonna talk a little bit about money and how people are gonna secure their finances
- 0:58for their future today.
- 0:59But before we get too deep down the rabbit hole with everything, don't you go ahead and just
- 1:03tell us a little bit about what it is that you do with your company?
- 1:07Sure.
- 1:07So good evening, everyone.
- 1:09Good day, everyone.
- 1:10My name is Kiata Ruiz, and I am here with Retirement Protection Solutions.
- 1:15What we do here is we provide financial literacy to individuals.
- 1:20We teach people about some information that they may not already know about, so education
- 1:26is really, a focus here.
- 1:28I've got twenty five years in the financial sector, and there's information that I was not
- 1:33taught when I was in college, and so when we're talking about working, people are putting away
- 1:38their money for savings with the thoughts of retirement, and so what we found is people
- 1:45generally focus on 401s, stocks, mutual funds, but what a lot of people do not know and what I
- 1:53was not told is to diversify my portfolio and put money into tangible assets like silver and
- 2:00gold.
- 2:01And so our education just talks about where we are, what the value of our dollar is, the
- 2:07devaluation of the dollar, and why it is important, and so, I have an affiliate program
- 2:13where I'm able to provide a vehicle for individuals to be able to, have a trusted
- 2:19source to exchange their money for physical acquiring, assets, and be able to protect their
- 2:26money.
- 2:30My daughter's eczema was out of control.
- 2:33She couldn't sleep because she was scratching her whole back, her bottom, her elbows, her
- 2:41knees, everything was covered.
- 2:43I'm pretty sure it's genetic for her, but I know that there are things in our environment
- 2:48that are exacerbating it or making it worse.
- 2:50Right?
- 2:51It could even be things like laundry detergent, wash she was using in the bath, lotions I was
- 2:57using on her.
- 2:58I saw my friend posting that her little one was also struggling with eczema and that she used
- 3:03this special lotion right here.
- 3:06The best stuff that we have tried so far.
- 3:09We did try other lotions and creams that worked, but they broke the bank.
- 3:13We literally could not afford to buy them on a regular basis to keep up with how much she was
- 3:19having eczema breakouts.
- 3:20But this stuff was great, super affordable, safe for her super sensitive skin.
- 3:25She's only two, and I have no hesitations of putting this on her, and it's been the best
- 3:30thing that has worked so far.
- 3:42Yeah.
- 3:42And that's something that people I I don't think people even understand what inflation is.
- 3:47Right?
- 3:47They don't understand what what it does to your purchasing power.
- 3:53Right?
- 3:54Right.
- 3:54And we all got a lesson in it.
- 3:56I think the last few years or the last five years really since since COVID and what has
- 4:01happened to our economy, and you can't just print this fake fiat currency and expect it to
- 4:08not be less and less and less and less.
- 4:11And that's why
- 4:12Right.
- 4:12Especially, asslets like gold and silver.
- 4:14I bet you're real happy you're bought into gold and silver right now as in
- 4:17I am.
- 4:17I am.
- 4:18I am.
- 4:18It's hitting me.
- 4:19I don't know if you know, but it hit an all time high this week.
- 4:21So Yeah.
- 4:22Well steadily climbing.
- 4:24And that's because the dollar is crashing.
- 4:26I mean, our economy is on the verge of completely shattering.
- 4:29You know, I don't know.
- 4:30I can't you know, the veracity of the post that I saw yesterday about the IRS and different
- 4:36financial institutions, but we've been on the verge of this for a while.
- 4:40And I think a lot you know, the the banking collapse in two thousand financial crisis of
- 4:45two thousand eight, the housing market crash, it was all fake.
- 4:48It is all generated economy bubbles, and then the bubbles burst.
- 4:53And then the the taxpayers are bailing out the banks who made the bad loans.
- 4:58Like, wait.
- 4:58Wait.
- 4:58Wait.
- 4:58Wait.
- 4:59You don't even have anything to back this up.
- 5:01Right?
- 5:01And then, you know, gold bars are being flown back from London into Fort Knox.
- 5:07It's great.
- 5:08I know I live out here in a very rural area, and I'm sure a lot of these farmers got gold
- 5:13bars buried out in the farm some point.
- 5:15They probably do.
- 5:16They probably do.
- 5:18Yeah.
- 5:18So a little bit about me.
- 5:20I grew up in Lead Lead Deadwood, South Dakota.
- 5:23It actually had the world's largest gold mine by by volume that they had pulled more gold out
- 5:29of the Black Hills than than really any other area on the planet.
- 5:32So while I've never been smart enough, I've never just never had money, Kiara.
- 5:37I just said because I knew it was fake, I was like, well, then I'm not even going to I'm not
- 5:41even going to participate.
- 5:42Right?
- 5:43Like, your four zero one k that they're gonna take 20% off when the economy crashes, and I
- 5:48and I saw a lot of guys that I worked with.
- 5:50I worked at a factory most recently, a couple of different factories as a welder.
- 5:55And I talked to some of the guys that have been there for a long time, and a few of them had
- 5:58lost 20% of their retirement.
- 6:00They they thought they were two years away from retirement, and that two years just turned into
- 6:04seven.
- 6:05Right?
- 6:05Added five years to their working career because the April and this fake economy and
- 6:11this stock market was just build, dump.
- 6:14Well, it'll come back.
- 6:15Well, I don't have time for it to come back.
- 6:18And that's why real assets, you know, real estate, obviously, is probably the number one.
- 6:24But then having the the gold and silver real material assets that you can put your hands on,
- 6:30that stuff's never going away.
- 6:32Even when crypto moves in, it's not going like, crypto is going to happen.
- 6:37Right?
- 6:37It's inevitable.
- 6:38So can we talk about kind of the relationship, I guess, between because we know it's all
- 6:44bullshit now.
- 6:45Excuse my language.
- 6:46As far
- 6:46as the fiat currency.
- 6:48Right?
- 6:48Yeah.
- 6:48So that's going away.
- 6:50What is the relationship now between gold and silver assets and the crypto world?
- 6:55Do you have a little bit to share on that?
- 6:57I do.
- 6:57I do.
- 6:58I do.
- 6:58So, you know, a lot of people are very interested in crypto.
- 7:02The reason why they're rich interested in crypto is because they wanna be in a
- 7:06decentralized environment.
- 7:08Decentralized meaning that they are in a space where they can put their money fractionally to
- 7:15purchase whatever they're purchasing, right, that they're expecting to gain and grow.
- 7:22They want to be in that decentralized space because that environment is outside of the
- 7:27government's purview, right?
- 7:28So now they can grow their money and not have to worry about the government watching
- 7:32transactions.
- 7:33The thing now is that the government has got hit to it, and so now they want to tax the
- 7:38crypto.
- 7:38So it's interesting that you ask that.
- 7:41One of the technologies that we offer exclusively with my affiliate program is that
- 7:47we have a technology that is disrupting the industry.
- 7:51It is a digital wallet.
- 7:53It's called Sound Money Wallet, okay?
- 7:56And when I talk with people that are into cryptocurrency, say, okay, when you're in your
- 8:01cryptocurrency space, you're purchasing in a wallet, but that wallet has to be backed.
- 8:06You have to do certain things to make sure that if there's a glitch, you don't lose your money.
- 8:11Well, with the Sound Money Wallet, it is a decentralized space as well.
- 8:16But when you are purchasing fractionally within that wallet, within that technology, there is a
- 8:22physical asset tied to every purchase.
- 8:25We don't sell anything that we don't have.
- 8:27So when you put $5 in gold, right, you have a tangible asset you can build to a weighted
- 8:33amount.
- 8:34If you want to hold it in your portfolio or you want to hold it in the vault, you can do that.
- 8:40If you wanted to have it shipped to you, you can have it shipped to you.
- 8:43So this technology is disrupting the industry because now this allows the average person to
- 8:49be able to purchase gold and silver no matter what their budget is.
- 8:52And so when I'm talking to people about crypto and comparing it to what you can do that same
- 8:56thing in this space, but when you're putting your money into that wallet, it has a physical
- 9:01asset tied behind it.
- 9:03And then you mitigate your taxes.
- 9:05You mitigate having to not you don't have to report it to the IRS.
- 9:09So this is where you can truly grow your money, keep the money, and not have to dish it back
- 9:17out to uncle Sam and everyone else.
- 9:19Well, and that's why I think I never wanted to make money.
- 9:21It's like the more money I make, the more money I give to these freaking crooks that are
- 9:25stealing it.
- 9:25Like, why would I do that?
- 9:27I'll just have no money.
- 9:28Well, here's the thing.
- 9:29Here's the thing.
- 9:30The wealthy, they created loopholes for themselves, right?
- 9:34All the way back to the Rockefellers and the Rothschilds.
- 9:37Oh my God, Keanu, I love you.
- 9:39Yeah.
- 9:40And so here's the thing.
- 9:41We average people didn't know what those loopholes were because they did not share it.
- 9:48I was blessed enough to be able to meet some billionaires that really want the average
- 9:54person to be able to create wealth no matter what your budget is.
- 9:57And here's how you do it.
- 9:59Here's how you turn your personal experiences, your personal expenses, excuse me, into
- 10:04business expenses.
- 10:06And so here's how you create a tax shelter and following what they have been sharing, while
- 10:12I'm not a tax advisor, I'm not a financial advisor, I am a financial analyst, but I can
- 10:17share my experience.
- 10:18Just being part of this company and sharing this information, my husband and I, we owed
- 10:24taxes a couple of years, but just because I was part of this company and doing what I really
- 10:29needed to do to protect my finances, we received a refund almost twice of what we
- 10:34normally owe.
- 10:35So this is truly a way for people to do what the wealthy have been doing.
- 10:40They're giving us the tips and tricks and all you have to do is be open to what they've
- 10:45shared, even if that caused you to shift your mindset, right?
- 10:51Have the mindset and the heart to be open to hearing information that you may or may not
- 10:56know about and implement it into your life so that you too can do what the wealthy have been
- 11:00doing.
- 11:01Everyone can create wealth now.
- 11:02There's no excuse.
- 11:03This this conversation couldn't have happened at a better time for me, Keanu.
- 11:07I'm taking part in a battle of the bands.
- 11:09I'm a songwriter, and that's kinda how my whole journey in podcasting started, to support my
- 11:14music community.
- 11:15But, next week, I'm going and performing for a battle of the bands.
- 11:20The grand prize is $10,000.
- 11:22Now let me tell you something.
- 11:24Like if this happened last year and I wanna put this for people who may not understand
- 11:29purchasing power or maintaining your purchasing power, right?
- 11:32You know, 1965, if if you had, I'll just say, if you just had 2,500, right?
- 11:39This is the dollar.
- 11:41This is what we save right now.
- 11:43It says Federal Reserve notes, right?
- 11:45When we were on the gold standard and it meant something, this is a silver certificate.
- 11:52Just at the beginning of last year, if you were holding 10,000 per se in your Sound Money
- 11:58wallet and you let that sit, you would have seen an appreciation of over 30%.
- 12:04Where are you to see that?
- 12:06But I wish you the best though on your battle of the bands and I look forward to you sharing,
- 12:13you know, I brought home the $10,000, Kiata.
- 12:17Yeah.
- 12:17We're gonna we're gonna put it in gold and silver.
- 12:19My plan to win because it's up in Minnesota.
- 12:21So I'm rural South Dakota boy.
- 12:23I kinda forgot I put in for this thing.
- 12:24Right?
- 12:25So you you as a musician, you put into a lot of these things, and you don't really you know I'm
- 12:29not banking my whole career on it.
- 12:31Right?
- 12:32So I totally forgot about it.
- 12:33I literally got a, I got a email a week ago that was like, congratulations.
- 12:37You've been selected.
- 12:38And I was like, what the hell is that?
- 12:39I clicked through, and I was like, oh, damn.
- 12:42I better put a band together.
- 12:43Yeah.
- 12:44Yeah.
- 12:44Yeah.
- 12:45Yeah.
- 12:45Called some local guys, and because I wanna make it memorable and it's all about the energy
- 12:49you bring, I'm doing an interview in a few days with the coach of an indoor football league
- 12:54that just started.
- 12:55This team is the Saint Paul bears.
- 12:57That's their inaugural season.
- 12:58I know you're probably a bears fan.
- 13:00I know you're around the Chicago area.
- 13:01Right?
- 13:02So but the Saint Paul Bears are a new organization, and I reached out to him and was
- 13:07like, hey.
- 13:07Do you guys, you know, need a need a fundraiser or or a chance to raise awareness about the
- 13:12team?
- 13:13And I got some free tickets.
- 13:15Would you be interested in in taking a few of these?
- 13:17And and you guys come in your jerseys and, you know, come up by the stage and maybe come up
- 13:21and on the stage even with us during our performance.
- 13:24So, yeah, looking forward to that.
- 13:26And, I mean, we're winning.
- 13:28And in return for that, I'm a give them 20% of what we win.
- 13:31Right?
- 13:32So maybe we'll turn that 10 around and say, hey.
- 13:34Here's $2,000 to not only, you know, as a start, but then we're on stage in front of
- 13:392,000 people.
- 13:40It's in a big old ballroom.
- 13:41Not it'd be full.
- 13:42I don't know if it'll be sold out or not, but we're gonna be in front of a few hundred people
- 13:45and then trying to get some of them to come in and maybe they have a business that can sponsor
- 13:48or other things.
- 13:50But giving back, that's that's what I've always been just like giving it all away.
- 13:53And and even when it comes to the money that I do have, especially building a business that so
- 13:58much of what you bring in just goes right back into building your business.
- 14:03And that's kind of the state that we're in right now.
- 14:06And and why when I saw you, we were in an alignable group together or maybe it was a it
- 14:12was with Kathy, wasn't it, where we had met?
- 14:14And in with her, I'll be hammering on my LinkedIn page and fixing everything while I'm
- 14:19on there.
- 14:20But I'm new.
- 14:22I was a welder, you know, just a little over a year ago when I had the confidence to quit my
- 14:26job and say, I can't do this.
- 14:27Right?
- 14:28I'm working.
- 14:28I'm making the same wage, but I can barely afford to get to work.
- 14:32I worked thirty minutes away from home.
- 14:33Right?
- 14:34So I'm driving 60 miles every day and burning up gas in the suburban, and it's like, I am
- 14:40making less and less money every single day because of inflation.
- 14:45Because of inflation driving up the cost of everything, not because of a dollar amount
- 14:50because of that purchasing power.
- 14:52And I think that's so much of what people don't know is we're we're we don't get a financial
- 14:58education.
- 14:58And I think it's beautiful that that is what you do is to that.
- 15:02And then you're affiliated with people where they can, okay, you wanna buy into gold and you
- 15:06wanna buy into these things.
- 15:07Here's the link to go do that.
- 15:08Here's the people to go talk to.
- 15:10We were all about educating people, regular people on how to take control of your financial
- 15:16life.
- 15:17I mean, it's so important.
- 15:18Yes.
- 15:19And you know what?
- 15:20And and so we focus on, right, we focus on getting people that information and giving them
- 15:26a vehicle to be able to do that.
- 15:27But just like you mentioned, some people need, they can't afford a $400 emergency bill, right?
- 15:33Well, we build people's businesses for free every day.
- 15:36So with us, it's not a requirement.
- 15:39We really want to get, the mission is to get gold and silver into the hands of the average
- 15:44home.
- 15:45But if you know other people that also need to protect themselves, by all means, when you
- 15:51share, if you choose to, we pay you in gold.
- 15:54You get paid.
- 15:56So people who are looking for supplemental income, another stream of income, maybe they
- 16:01want $250 5 hundred dollars a week would help with their basic living.
- 16:07There's an opportunity for that too.
- 16:09So we just want to meet people and meet the needs of people.
- 16:12We have portals where people can save on the things that they do every day, travel or just
- 16:19purchasing your food from a restaurant.
- 16:21We're really about helping you to create the wealth, save as much as you can on the things
- 16:27that you do every day.
- 16:28And if you need another stream of income, we can help you with that too.
- 16:32That's incredible.
- 16:33Can you share where we can find you and where we can get involved?
- 16:36We're gonna be sharing your stuff crazy because I could use $2.50 extra dollars too.
- 16:41Absolutely.
- 16:42If everyone is on IG, on Instagram, you can go to qui.basinbravo,.ruiz.
- 16:53There's a link in my bio to go to my Linktree, linktreefinancialpreservation.
- 17:02I'm also on TikTok as Q, just the letter Q, dot Ruiz.
- 17:08And, know, Alignable, if people aren't Alignable, you can look me up, Kiara Ruiz.
- 17:13I'm fine tuning my LinkedIn page.
- 17:16You know, that conversation we had with Kathy was so inspirational.
- 17:19I was like, oh, I need to set a separate page just for, you know, the gold and the silver and
- 17:25and separate that from my corporate financial job so peep so I can focus on that.
- 17:30Yeah.
- 17:30Good.
- 17:31Well, yeah, we love everything.
- 17:32We're building communities right now of podcasters and content creators, musicians,
- 17:37songwriters, and all these people that are out there driving up the viewership of these social
- 17:41media platforms and then having nothing to speak of at the end of the day.
- 17:45Right?
- 17:45Everybody that I talk to is, how do I monetize?
- 17:48How do I monetize?
- 17:49And girl, I've had a hell of a two weeks figuring out how I'm gonna do that.
- 17:54And now just like you, I wanna teach everybody I know how to do that.
- 17:57And then we're gonna use your services and and and share your services with all of our people
- 18:02so that they can protect themselves financially for their future as well as their present.
- 18:06Yes, yes, yes.
- 18:08And let me say one more thing.
- 18:09You can also go to IG.
- 18:11You can go to retirementprotectionsolutionsand you can contact me that way as well.
- 18:19And I'm not opposed.
- 18:20As long as you send a text message, feel free to text (630) 988-6789.
- 18:28Right on.
- 18:28Well, Kiara, thank you so much for being part of the scene.
- 18:31I appreciate it.
- 18:32Oh, yes.
- 18:33I appreciate your time today and look forward to talking with you and everyone else that is
- 18:38inspired by our conversation today.
- 18:43This program is part of the SCENE Project Podcast Network.
