- 0:03Speaker 1: Boulet Care podcast. Man, we've got a special guest in here,
- 0:06Speaker 1: my guy T. K.
- 0:07Speaker 2: Kirkland.
- 0:08Speaker 1: He's in the building.
- 0:09Speaker 2: Yes, I am sir. Welcome for having my nephew.
- 0:12Speaker 1: How has uh You've been on this huge tour with
- 0:15Speaker 1: Mike Epps going all over the country. It's been a
- 0:19Speaker 1: couple of months.
- 0:20Speaker 2: Yes, I think we started in February.
- 0:22Speaker 1: So how how's how's that? Because you've you've been on
- 0:25Speaker 1: I mean, obviously the road is nowhere you know, new
- 0:27Speaker 1: to you, But I mean this is your first arena
- 0:30Speaker 1: tour in a minute.
- 0:31Speaker 3: Yes, this is my first arenator of comedy arena tour ever.
- 0:35Speaker 2: Ever, ever.
- 0:36Speaker 3: Obviously you've been on arena tours with rappers, with rappers,
- 0:38Speaker 3: I normally tour with rappers.
- 0:39Speaker 2: But I mean, what what is it?
- 0:41Speaker 1: How has it been? Just the reception and like obviously
- 0:43Speaker 1: it's different from like working like the ice House in Pasadena,
- 0:46Speaker 1: working the improv or I had to pretty much adjust
- 0:50Speaker 1: my time because I'm.
- 0:51Speaker 3: Used to it being about me. Yeah, and do an
- 0:55Speaker 3: hour do out there?
- 0:56Speaker 1: Yeah, I feel like you are very much. The crowd
- 0:58Speaker 1: is a part of your show.
- 0:59Speaker 2: Yes, and just right here.
- 1:03Speaker 3: I had to adjust time get used to the rhythm
- 1:05Speaker 3: of trying to get everything into fifteen seventeen minutes. But
- 1:09Speaker 3: it was a great opportunity that I thank TC, Mike
- 1:14Speaker 3: GEPs and Blake for making sure that this happened for
- 1:16Speaker 3: me because I truly appreciate it and I thrive for it,
- 1:22Speaker 3: and it's something that I will honored to the day
- 1:25Speaker 3: I die. To be honest with you.
- 1:27Speaker 1: It was it a good exercise for you too, to
- 1:29Speaker 1: just kind of be forced to be like, okay, we
- 1:31Speaker 1: got I got seventeen minutes.
- 1:32Speaker 3: Yeah, it was interesting, you know what I'm saying, because
- 1:35Speaker 3: you try to get so much in into seventeen minutes
- 1:38Speaker 3: because you got remember forty one years in the game.
- 1:41Speaker 2: So it's it's it's.
- 1:42Speaker 3: When you, when you, when you work as long as
- 1:49Speaker 3: I have, and to just it just shows experience because
- 1:53Speaker 3: some of course, sure some comedians who are doing fifteen
- 1:56Speaker 3: seventeen minutes can't do an hour and thirty minutes right
- 1:58Speaker 3: and be for phenomenal for Alan third, right, that's where
- 2:03Speaker 3: I wish we could do that because I think at
- 2:05Speaker 3: that time it has showed the growth that I have
- 2:09Speaker 3: as a comedian. But fifteen minutes, we all look sensational
- 2:12Speaker 3: on it and it's a good look.
- 2:14Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 2:15Speaker 1: I feel like Mike Gaps two is like one of
- 2:16Speaker 1: those guys that we got to He's super underrated for
- 2:19Speaker 1: some reason. I feel like we got to like put
- 2:21Speaker 1: him in these conversations when we have these conversations like, yes,
- 2:25Speaker 1: the guys from the last fifteen years, like he's.
- 2:27Speaker 2: In that conbo.
- 2:28Speaker 3: Yeah, he's in that conbo. To see what he's done
- 2:30Speaker 3: because I knew him before the world knew him, and
- 2:32Speaker 3: to see what he's done is truly phenomenal. And I'm
- 2:36Speaker 3: just really happy to see success because everything started on
- 2:39Speaker 3: forty third French Shaw back in nineteen eighty five. And
- 2:43Speaker 3: to see what has happened right since nineteen eighty five,
- 2:47Speaker 3: before they was letting us in clubs, before we became
- 2:51Speaker 3: the main thing in clubs all over the world, it's phenomenal.
- 2:55Speaker 1: I want to ask you. You are an international guy,
- 2:57Speaker 1: You're overseas a lot. You got to play Paris, I
- 3:00Speaker 1: believe right, what has kind of been the because the
- 3:06Speaker 1: last year America has kind of put the world in
- 3:09Speaker 1: a blender in its own kind of weird way. What
- 3:13Speaker 1: is your experience been like being in America being abroad
- 3:17Speaker 1: and kind of like how do you feel like the
- 3:18Speaker 1: attitude towards us is right now based on like, you know.
- 3:22Speaker 3: You're a great question being knowledgeable in which I think
- 3:26Speaker 3: I am. I think they probably dislike us or see.
- 3:30Speaker 3: But because I carry myself as a man, I have
- 3:33Speaker 3: no problems and I don't go towards issues or things
- 3:38Speaker 3: that I'm really just to myself.
- 3:40Speaker 2: I hit the gym, I.
- 3:42Speaker 3: Do a lot of shopping when I'm over there, a
- 3:44Speaker 3: lot of restaurants, and I stay.
- 3:46Speaker 2: Out the way, stay out the way.
- 3:47Speaker 3: I stay out the way, saying principles that you have here,
- 3:50Speaker 3: you take over there.
- 3:52Speaker 1: Even just like in general, like being on an arena tour,
- 3:54Speaker 1: I can imagine it's like having that many people come
- 3:57Speaker 1: out and see you when like times are really hard
- 4:00Speaker 1: right now. Yes, like damn y'all wouldn't have got a babysitter. Yes,
- 4:03Speaker 1: And that's even when you do your weekend shows, it's.
- 4:05Speaker 2: Like you wouldn't have got a babysitter you.
- 4:08Speaker 3: I love it, man to be in a car pulling
- 4:10Speaker 3: up seeing all the people, even though they're not there
- 4:13Speaker 3: for me yet, but eventually it will be.
- 4:17Speaker 2: We're coming to see t K.
- 4:19Speaker 3: In that right situation, that's that's the thing that's really
- 4:23Speaker 3: excited for me. It gives me something to thrive for
- 4:27Speaker 3: and I usually win when I want something.
- 4:29Speaker 2: I'm curious.
- 4:30Speaker 1: So you're in town this week, and this week is
- 4:32Speaker 1: the Netflix is a Joke week, which is it's kind
- 4:34Speaker 1: of like the Coachella of comedy. Feels like there's some
- 4:37Speaker 1: ten things going on every night all day, but you're
- 4:40Speaker 1: not out here to do any of that stuff. You
- 4:41Speaker 1: were like, Yo, I'm an indie guy. What is it about, Like,
- 4:44Speaker 1: because there is like this corporate side of the comedy world,
- 4:48Speaker 1: what is it about that world that hasn't worked for
- 4:51Speaker 1: you or that hasn't interested you to become a part of,
- 4:54Speaker 1: or even because I feel like you just.
- 4:56Speaker 3: Kind of do you just me? You know you're flying solo. Yeah,
- 5:00Speaker 3: you know me for a long time.
- 5:01Speaker 2: I just do me.
- 5:02Speaker 3: It feels good that way. I don't have to get
- 5:04Speaker 3: caught up in politics. I'm gonna get have to get
- 5:06Speaker 3: caught up in confusion. I don't have to call my body.
- 5:09Speaker 3: Can I get on the show? Can I do this?
- 5:10Speaker 3: Can I do that?
- 5:11Speaker 2: I do my own thing.
- 5:13Speaker 3: I move at my own pace, and it can work
- 5:16Speaker 3: to the comedians who are trying to do on their
- 5:19Speaker 3: own thing. You just got to have good relationships, be
- 5:22Speaker 3: in the game for a long time, treat people good,
- 5:25Speaker 3: and have discipline. And that's one thing I have, is
- 5:28Speaker 3: the discipline. Even at this age, I thrive and I
- 5:31Speaker 3: feel like I'm thirty six, thirty seven.
- 5:34Speaker 1: Yeah, do you feel like because it feels like Netflix
- 5:36Speaker 1: has kind of tried to plant their flag into the
- 5:39Speaker 1: comedy world more than anybody since maybe like HBO.
- 5:44Speaker 3: Back in the day, I agree. I agree, like old HBO, Yeah,
- 5:47Speaker 3: I agree. And things I've learned in the nineties when
- 5:51Speaker 3: I used to knock on everybody's door to try to
- 5:53Speaker 3: get in and it was hard. And then when I
- 5:58Speaker 3: fell back in life, I still worked hard. Things came
- 6:02Speaker 3: to me organically, right, And that's the way I like things,
- 6:05Speaker 3: because it's like a woman choosing you, right when the
- 6:08Speaker 3: FEMA chooses you, you know, the situation is not that bad,
- 6:11Speaker 3: but if you're chasing her, you're going to run through obstacles.
- 6:14Speaker 1: Well yeah, and I feel like, you know, this is
- 6:17Speaker 1: like whoever the chaser is will always be on the
- 6:20Speaker 1: negative side of the leverage in that that's right in
- 6:23Speaker 1: that relationship dynamic, yeap choose who want?
- 6:26Speaker 3: What's how they say, choose to rock with the one.
- 6:29Speaker 2: That wants you right. That that is so true and
- 6:32Speaker 2: I use that in business.
- 6:35Speaker 1: What about for you, man, like it has been a
- 6:38Speaker 1: pretty crazy year for you? Is there a party that
- 6:43Speaker 1: misses the smaller clubs. I know you're going to get
- 6:47Speaker 1: back to those because the tor ends May twenty fourth
- 6:51Speaker 1: or May twenty third. Are you like excited to get
- 6:53Speaker 1: back into that. I am into your circuit.
- 6:55Speaker 3: I have never appreciated getting back into the clubs the
- 6:59Speaker 3: way I do now, Like I'm gonna be excited to.
- 7:03Speaker 2: Know that.
- 7:06Speaker 3: I could do longer than fifteen minutes. That everybody's coming
- 7:09Speaker 3: to see T. K. Kirkland, And like I said, it's
- 7:13Speaker 3: still a phenomenal journey to be in this type of situation.
- 7:18Speaker 1: Yo, we were talking a little bit. You're always a
- 7:20Speaker 1: very You're high on financial literacy. This is something you've
- 7:22Speaker 1: always preached, whether you listen to your uh even if
- 7:26Speaker 1: you go to a comedy show, Yes, you hear people
- 7:29Speaker 1: it's like a comedy show, but it's also like a
- 7:31Speaker 1: like going to.
- 7:32Speaker 3: School, right right, I got to teach him something it's
- 7:35Speaker 3: important to me.
- 7:36Speaker 1: We were talking a bit off camera about Floyd. Yes,
- 7:39Speaker 1: obviously Floyd is somebody who's lives in the same city
- 7:43Speaker 1: you live in. I'm assuming he's still in Vegas, yes,
- 7:46Speaker 1: but we're kind of talking about some of his money issues,
- 7:49Speaker 1: which are, like, it's kind of crazy if you think
- 7:51Speaker 1: about how much money has gone in and out of
- 7:53Speaker 1: Floyd's hands.
- 7:54Speaker 2: Absolutely, and like some of.
- 7:56Speaker 1: The speculation about you know, him having to give up
- 7:59Speaker 1: his price jed or him not being able to travel
- 8:03Speaker 1: or his irs. Wo was when you see a situation
- 8:05Speaker 1: like that, where do you think somebody like that goes wrong?
- 8:09Speaker 2: Hm?
- 8:11Speaker 3: I've always said for years you have to respect money.
- 8:14Speaker 3: Like I still don't believe it to this day, even
- 8:17Speaker 3: though you see it in the news. It's impossible that
- 8:21Speaker 3: Floyd is having this type of problem. I'm still hoping
- 8:24Speaker 3: that maybe it's a lie somewhere, somebody just putting that
- 8:27Speaker 3: out there for a clickbait.
- 8:29Speaker 2: Right.
- 8:29Speaker 3: But the thing that we're all taught is to get
- 8:32Speaker 3: money right, get it, get it, get it. But nobody's
- 8:35Speaker 3: taught how to keep it. Everybody want to flex, everybody
- 8:39Speaker 3: want to do this extra. And in your twenties, thirties, forties,
- 8:43Speaker 3: even your fifties, you think people care. In your late fifties,
- 8:46Speaker 3: sixties and beyond, you realize nobody gave a fuck. Yeah,
- 8:53Speaker 3: nobody cares.
- 8:54Speaker 1: Especially, nobody gives a fuck about the shit that you
- 8:56Speaker 1: feel like, we thinking about cars, about the you think
- 9:00Speaker 1: about the little shit that like you're you're doing for
- 9:02Speaker 1: everyone else.
- 9:03Speaker 2: Nobody cares.
- 9:04Speaker 3: Yeah, long as you get long as you can stay healthy,
- 9:07Speaker 3: that's the flex.
- 9:09Speaker 2: Health is the flex.
- 9:11Speaker 1: Yeah, because you're sixty six, Yes, you look like you're forty.
- 9:14Speaker 2: Thank you so much. And I take it seriously.
- 9:16Speaker 3: This morning I was up, man, two on your jumping jacks,
- 9:21Speaker 3: seventy squats, two on your push ups, all body weight stuff,
- 9:25Speaker 3: all body weight stuff this week.
- 9:26Speaker 2: Yeah, and then next week I go back to doing
- 9:29Speaker 2: nine miles a day. Hey, man, don't forget.
- 9:31Speaker 1: Odd socks basics. The only thing that's on my feet man,
- 9:35Speaker 1: or the odd socks baby, all right, And what I
- 9:37Speaker 1: love about odd socks. First of all, I don't want
- 9:40Speaker 1: to say any other socks by name, but if you're
- 9:42Speaker 1: just throwing on, you know, the good old generic tube
- 9:46Speaker 1: socks with shorts, so whatever it is ankle socks, you
- 9:51Speaker 1: ain't gonna find anything more comfortable than these odd socks
- 9:53Speaker 1: basics or more affordable, That's right, get a pack like
- 9:56Speaker 1: this for nine ninety nine. For ninety nine, odd socks
- 10:00Speaker 1: dot Com use the promo code bootleg. Not only do
- 10:04Speaker 1: they got the basics on lock, of course, they have
- 10:05Speaker 1: all your favorite license products. I don't know, maybe a
- 10:08Speaker 1: little Budweiser, maybe a little Attack On Titan. You know what,
- 10:12Speaker 1: they just locked in the liquid death. Can we also
- 10:15Speaker 1: give a shout out they just locked in one piece.
- 10:17Speaker 1: I'm waiting for my guy Obese to send me some
- 10:19Speaker 1: one piece stuff COLT forty five. How about some warheads?
- 10:23Speaker 2: Uh? Yeah, Hello.
- 10:25Speaker 1: Odd Socks dot Com used the promo code bootleg save
- 10:28Speaker 1: twenty percent off. And trust me, the most comfortable socks
- 10:31Speaker 1: in the world are these odd Socks Basics. I literally
- 10:34Speaker 1: have not worn anything else on my feet in five years.

- 10:46Speaker 1: get you a pack and thank me later. Odd Socks
- 10:48Speaker 1: dot Com use the promo code boot leg save twenty
- 10:49Speaker 1: percent off of check out.
- 10:52Speaker 2: Well, that's what I'm saying.
- 10:52Speaker 1: It's like, dude, like the hardest part about being on
- 10:55Speaker 1: the road, even like I travel a lot, is just
- 11:00Speaker 1: trying to stay dialed in while on the road.
- 11:04Speaker 2: It's hard. You live on the road. Yeah, I live
- 11:06Speaker 2: on the road since you was a baby.
- 11:07Speaker 1: So you figure how when did you first figure out? Like, okay,
- 11:11Speaker 1: I have to because look if you go like, I'm
- 11:13Speaker 1: the type of guy if I go to a new town,
- 11:15Speaker 1: I'm going to try some food. Yes, I'm like, oh shit,
- 11:18Speaker 1: I'm in uh you know, I'm in Atlanta.
- 11:20Speaker 2: Get some lemon peppers, right right, right, right?
- 11:23Speaker 3: So like when did when did you kind of get
- 11:24Speaker 3: the discipline, like dialed in for your health and like
- 11:27Speaker 3: you gotta remember i'men doing thisince eighty five and traveling
- 11:29Speaker 3: for you guys, was even thinking about it. I was
- 11:31Speaker 3: born in eighty seven, right, you know what I'm saying.
- 11:33Speaker 3: So when I travel, especially with other people, my joy
- 11:38Speaker 3: comes from watching them. How I used to be right
- 11:43Speaker 3: like Mojoe Brooks, you know, I sit back. He's the
- 11:46Speaker 3: player of the tour, you know, and he know you're
- 11:49Speaker 3: a handsome guy, you know, So he'll.
- 11:51Speaker 2: Go out and mess with the women.
- 11:53Speaker 3: And I'm standing in the cut and I'm smiling like
- 11:56Speaker 3: an uncle, like yeah, because I remember that.
- 11:59Speaker 2: I remember that, and.
- 12:00Speaker 3: I just think that's interesting to see that. So to
- 12:05Speaker 3: see those guys do that and know that I've been
- 12:07Speaker 3: there gives me the discipline. I just go to my room,
- 12:11Speaker 3: like I don't even wait for the whole tour to
- 12:12Speaker 3: be over. When when you get off, I'm gone because.
- 12:16Speaker 1: You already done. Seen everyone set everybody.
- 12:19Speaker 3: Yeah, I leave and I go to my room, chill,
- 12:23Speaker 3: take my clothes off and take a nice shower with
- 12:25Speaker 3: my pajamas on. Probably order some room servers, something light,
- 12:28Speaker 3: and I'm watching seeing in news they don't give it.
- 12:31Speaker 2: Take my magnesium. That's what I'm about to take my magnesium.
- 12:37Speaker 2: Go to sleep for you, t I wonder, like that's funny.
- 12:41Speaker 1: Being your age, is there like a limit to like,
- 12:44Speaker 1: like how how young is too young for you to
- 12:47Speaker 1: entertain a lady?
- 12:48Speaker 3: That's a good question because you're sixty six. Yes, yes,
- 12:51Speaker 3: And I got the young girls coming out. They're hitting
- 12:54Speaker 3: me up hard and I want to say thank you too.
- 12:58Speaker 3: But it's based on character, just plant how people carry themselves.
- 13:04Speaker 3: I think that's important. I just don't like pettiness. Pettiness
- 13:08Speaker 3: is the worst thing you could do to me.
- 13:10Speaker 2: You know.
- 13:10Speaker 3: I had a situations I had to run to a
- 13:12Speaker 3: comedy show that came out of the blue and a
- 13:16Speaker 3: person was just upset that I guess I didn't let
- 13:18Speaker 3: them know, but it was something that happened on the fly,
- 13:22Speaker 3: and I think that person got upset or whatever.
- 13:25Speaker 2: But I'm not the guy to you hate petty. You
- 13:29Speaker 2: always say like I always say that since I've known you.
- 13:32Speaker 3: Somebody shows signs the pettiness. It's like, yep, because things
- 13:35Speaker 3: are just so small. You can't be mad of a
- 13:39Speaker 3: little thing.
- 13:40Speaker 1: Not everything has to be a Thing's so true. Yeah,
- 13:44Speaker 1: So I tell my wife, I'm like, no, why has
- 13:46Speaker 1: everything got to be a Yeah? Not everything is a thing.
- 13:48Speaker 3: I just want to stay happy and healthy, and obviously
- 13:51Speaker 3: I'm winning because look my situation, so I can't. I'm
- 13:55Speaker 3: not going to deviate from what has got me to
- 13:58Speaker 3: who I am today.
- 14:00Speaker 1: So is it like, would you would you entertain a
- 14:02Speaker 1: thirty year old if you was super mature?
- 14:04Speaker 2: Nope?
- 14:05Speaker 1: Too young.
- 14:06Speaker 3: I can probably do thirty five.
- 14:09Speaker 2: Thirty five is about there? Yeah?
- 14:11Speaker 3: Yeah, because the young girls, when I tell them no,
- 14:13Speaker 3: they curse me out right.
- 14:15Speaker 2: Who the fuck you think you are? You need me?
- 14:20Speaker 2: You know? And I'm not getting married.
- 14:21Speaker 3: And young lady asked me to say why you're not
- 14:23Speaker 3: getting married, and my will is already done right.
- 14:28Speaker 2: Now.
- 14:28Speaker 3: If I really like someone, you know, I would get
- 14:31Speaker 3: them their own insurance policy. If I was rocking with
- 14:34Speaker 3: you on me, it's separately from what I'm doing with
- 14:37Speaker 3: my children and grandkids, and that would be for you.
- 14:40Speaker 3: I'll probably give somebody what three four hundred thousand.
- 14:43Speaker 1: Yeah, because that insurance probably the thing you've explained, like
- 14:46Speaker 1: you pretty much pay into it right every month.
- 14:48Speaker 2: It all depends on who what kind of insurance you have.
- 14:51Speaker 3: You know, you could just get something straight out at
- 14:53Speaker 3: my age now, to get somebody at three hundred four
- 14:56Speaker 3: hundred thousand policy will be very expensive. Sure, that's why
- 14:59Speaker 3: we tell people to get insurance while you're young. You
- 15:01Speaker 3: got to get insurance in your thirties because the premiums
- 15:04Speaker 3: are low. Because you got to remember, insurance companies is
- 15:06Speaker 3: a business. They want to make their money, you know,
- 15:09Speaker 3: and they hope that.
- 15:12Speaker 2: You live a long.
- 15:12Speaker 3: Time so that when you do get your money, you
- 15:15Speaker 3: already paid into it. They took a loss if you
- 15:18Speaker 3: took out the life as you just posibly five hundred thousand,
- 15:22Speaker 3: you died in five months or a year, oh man,
- 15:24Speaker 3: they mad they jump through hoops to try to exactly exactly. So,
- 15:30Speaker 3: and what motivates me to to stay healthy is that
- 15:33Speaker 3: I don't want to be dependent on my children to
- 15:37Speaker 3: take care of me. That's a rough thing I've seen
- 15:39Speaker 3: in my whole life.
- 15:40Speaker 1: Everybody, Yeah like that.
- 15:42Speaker 3: I don't want to be dependent on somebody washing me,
- 15:46Speaker 3: wiping your ass, yeah, taking me to go get something
- 15:48Speaker 3: to eat.
- 15:50Speaker 2: So I mean that's my motivation. No, that's a good motivation.
- 15:54Speaker 3: That's a good motivation. And people look at me like
- 15:57Speaker 3: it's amazing to see me young. But what our ancestors
- 16:01Speaker 3: is our aunts and grandmothers. Did they stop working out?
- 16:05Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 16:05Speaker 1: I think once you even if you're not working anymore,
- 16:08Speaker 1: once you stop becoming active, it's almost like it's almost
- 16:13Speaker 1: like you're waving a red flag to like mother nature.
- 16:15Speaker 1: I gave it and you don't even know it. So
- 16:17Speaker 1: you don't even know what you're doing.
- 16:18Speaker 3: You have to stay active and you got to keep
- 16:20Speaker 3: your muscles working.
- 16:22Speaker 2: Like I said, I do nine miles.
- 16:24Speaker 1: A day running, walk walking, So what's that take you
- 16:29Speaker 1: an hour?
- 16:29Speaker 2: And it takes me about an hour and a half.
- 16:32Speaker 3: And then I do after I eat, I do another
- 16:34Speaker 3: three miles in the evening and then I do that
- 16:37Speaker 3: every day.
- 16:38Speaker 1: I mean, that's all you really need to do. So
- 16:39Speaker 1: you need to do Yeah, that's like what that's ten
- 16:42Speaker 1: thousand steps at least.
- 16:43Speaker 3: Oh absolutely, yeah, absolutely, And you feel good about accomplishments.
- 16:49Speaker 3: That's a great feeling for sure, when you're accomplish saying.
- 16:52Speaker 1: And you get stuff done while on the treadmill, you
- 16:54Speaker 1: get stuff done. You can take calls, you could.
- 16:55Speaker 2: Yeah, I know I'm not doing a trademill.
- 16:57Speaker 1: Or even if.
- 16:57Speaker 2: Yeah, it's even better to walk around.
- 16:59Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm working around the treadmill is a little border
- 17:02Speaker 3: hell out of me.
- 17:03Speaker 2: Sure, But to walk around.
- 17:04Speaker 3: I'm in a beautiful area where I live, so to
- 17:06Speaker 3: see the mountains and just the beautiful trees and all
- 17:09Speaker 3: that kind of stuff.
- 17:11Speaker 2: You appreciate what you've done with your life. Yeah, I
- 17:14Speaker 2: like that. I saw you post.
- 17:16Speaker 1: Some kids are fatherless because their mother wanted to prove
- 17:19Speaker 1: a point.
- 17:20Speaker 2: Isn't that deep? Yes, that is deep.
- 17:23Speaker 3: That post was meant to see everybody's experiences in life.
- 17:29Speaker 2: Some women say, oh, look at the.
- 17:31Speaker 3: Man trying to get out his responsibilities. Some people say,
- 17:37Speaker 3: I'm going through that situation right now. Some women do
- 17:41Speaker 3: hold the child against the man because it's about money.
- 17:45Speaker 3: Sometimes it's a one nice stand and the bond is
- 17:48Speaker 3: not as tight as you think it should be. At
- 17:50Speaker 3: the end of the day, I put things on my
- 17:54Speaker 3: social media for discussion, things that need to be talked about.
- 18:00Speaker 3: And when someone says something stupid, what I say to
- 18:04Speaker 3: myself is that person hasn't lived long enough to understand though,
- 18:07Speaker 3: doesn't have wisdom, because see, I've been thirty two, I've
- 18:11Speaker 3: been forty, I've been fifty five, and but most people
- 18:15Speaker 3: have not been sixty six. So I could see you
- 18:19Speaker 3: think that you might know what you're talking about, but
- 18:22Speaker 3: you could only know that I'm right if you make
- 18:25Speaker 3: it to my age right.
- 18:27Speaker 2: That's the advantage I have on everybody.
- 18:29Speaker 1: Is it crazy for you to still encounter people that
- 18:32Speaker 1: are in your age barometer that are still just like,
- 18:37Speaker 1: ridiculously like immature. Sometimes I'll meet old people like, you know, true,
- 18:42Speaker 1: you met my old pizza partner in here, the crazy
- 18:44Speaker 1: guy who's fifty six now, I think, and it's like
- 18:47Speaker 1: you might as well be nineteen.
- 18:48Speaker 2: Yes, you know what I'm saying. Some people and I'm
- 18:50Speaker 2: just like, yo, how is it?
- 18:51Speaker 1: How do people go through so much life and so
- 18:54Speaker 1: figure out to like let dumb shit go.
- 18:56Speaker 3: Isn't this amazing if you look at them, like, who've
- 18:58Speaker 3: aged you?
- 19:00Speaker 2: Exactly? Who raised you?
- 19:02Speaker 3: And I say that all the time, and you realize
- 19:07Speaker 3: there's nothing you could do.
- 19:08Speaker 2: You know, we live in the world of.
- 19:10Speaker 3: Betrayal, lies, whitewash in the sense denied, deny, deny, deny, deny.
- 19:19Speaker 3: And when you got leadership like that, it makes the
- 19:22Speaker 3: regular people just do it that much.
- 19:24Speaker 2: More better and easy.
- 19:26Speaker 3: Right, And you can't get caught up because if the
- 19:30Speaker 3: drive you're crazy, because knowledge is a gifferent, a curse, right,
- 19:34Speaker 3: So you're the knowledge of a person. So when you
- 19:36Speaker 3: travel places you kind of irritated because you know how
- 19:39Speaker 3: it's supposed to be.
- 19:40Speaker 1: Yeah, but I also like for me, I think I
- 19:43Speaker 1: got to this point, maybe like four or five years ago,
- 19:46Speaker 1: where I just like just stopped like the shit I
- 19:49Speaker 1: used to react to. Yes, you have to just don't
- 19:51Speaker 1: react because if the drive you're crazy, it's like it's
- 19:54Speaker 1: no point, Like there's no point, there's nothing you can
- 19:55Speaker 1: do out of side, out of mind.
- 19:57Speaker 3: It's it the way the world is today.
- 20:00Speaker 2: It is what it is.
- 20:01Speaker 1: Yeah, it's like I'm or you can just take care
- 20:03Speaker 1: of your own control.
- 20:05Speaker 2: I have control.
- 20:05Speaker 3: That's what you got, controlled by mind. There's nothing else,
- 20:09Speaker 3: nothing else, nothing else.
- 20:11Speaker 2: Uh, what are your thoughts?
- 20:12Speaker 1: I just saw my boy just went through this issue
- 20:15Speaker 1: with his lady. What are your thoughts on being being
- 20:19Speaker 1: in a relationship with someone and your significant other having
- 20:22Speaker 1: a friend of the opposite sex that like they go
- 20:30Speaker 1: out to dinner with them, maybe every once in a while,
- 20:32Speaker 1: they go get lunch.
- 20:34Speaker 2: No, that's uncomfortable for man.
- 20:36Speaker 1: Yeah, do you think there's a double standard on either side?
- 20:39Speaker 1: Like if a man has a friend that's a female
- 20:42Speaker 1: that he goes and sees every once in a while.
- 20:45Speaker 3: It goes what's good for the goose says? They say
- 20:47Speaker 3: good for the gander? Right, if I'm with someone, I
- 20:50Speaker 3: wouldn't do that to her. And if a guy his
- 20:54Speaker 3: girl does that then and he's against it, he should
- 20:57Speaker 3: respect that. She should respect it and say no this,
- 21:00Speaker 3: I can't do that because I respect my.
- 21:04Speaker 2: Significant other.
- 21:05Speaker 3: It's all about respect and making a person feel comfortable.
- 21:08Speaker 1: And everyone's got a different different shit they're comfortable with.
- 21:11Speaker 2: Yes, you gotta be comfortable.
- 21:12Speaker 3: Nobody wants another girl went out to dinner with another
- 21:15Speaker 3: perspecialcy super gorgeous right, Like I did a post long
- 21:20Speaker 3: time ago, I said, when your guy has company over
- 21:23Speaker 3: the house to watch the football game, his.
- 21:25Speaker 2: Woman should leave the room.
- 21:27Speaker 3: A lot of young people's like no, we family, I
- 21:29Speaker 3: should be there and them telling ladies. If your man
- 21:32Speaker 3: never said bitch, leave the room, you ugly.
- 21:35Speaker 2: If your man has never said, oh, you don't know,
- 21:38Speaker 2: automatically bit you ugly.
- 21:41Speaker 3: Because every real man will make sure that his girl
- 21:44Speaker 3: is not amongst the guys, especially if you're extremely attractive,
- 21:48Speaker 3: because guys are watching you, you know, and yeah.
- 21:52Speaker 2: You're attractive.
- 21:53Speaker 3: But why put ourselves in a situation where drinking is involved.
- 21:57Speaker 3: Somebody might say something wrong mm hmm, something something might
- 22:01Speaker 3: slip up, or you're too comfortable, and somehow you go
- 22:05Speaker 3: use the bathroom and the motherfucker's on switch or flip
- 22:08Speaker 3: numbers or whatever.
- 22:09Speaker 2: Anything can happen.
- 22:10Speaker 1: Well, I think too, like, if you're like an attractive female,
- 22:13Speaker 1: the chances of you having a straight guy friend who
- 22:16Speaker 1: doesn't want to fuck you if given the chance, are
- 22:18Speaker 1: probably close to zero.
- 22:19Speaker 2: Absolutely. Now that doesn't mean that it's gonna happen, yes.
- 22:23Speaker 1: Or that that person's ever going to show that card.
- 22:25Speaker 2: Yes, but we're men only way. You don't feel that
- 22:31Speaker 2: way if the female you hanging with.
- 22:33Speaker 1: Is ugly bitch exactly exactly.
- 22:36Speaker 2: But if you got a fat ass.
- 22:39Speaker 3: Nice titties, your skin is fucking growing and just looking
- 22:43Speaker 3: at you can turn you on.
- 22:45Speaker 2: You got your motherfucking by that's hilarious out your damn.
- 22:49Speaker 1: And there's like a difference too, Like there's like work
- 22:51Speaker 1: colleagues that like you gotta have like okay, yo, yeah
- 22:53Speaker 1: that's different, different.
- 22:55Speaker 3: You know, And sometimes women have what they called job wives,
- 22:58Speaker 3: job husbands, work wife, work wife. Yeah yeah, man, shit,
- 23:03Speaker 3: I don't know. I'm glad I never had to deal
- 23:08Speaker 3: with those type of things in life, right, because you
- 23:10Speaker 3: got to know.
- 23:11Speaker 2: Who you are.
- 23:12Speaker 1: Do you feel is there is there ever a point
- 23:15Speaker 1: in time where you are where you regret not getting married?
- 23:21Speaker 1: Hell fucking know, or like you ever think like day
- 23:24Speaker 1: there was like one that got away.
- 23:26Speaker 3: Any woman I've ever dated, because she could have been
- 23:28Speaker 3: the one pretty much, right, But you got to sacrifice
- 23:31Speaker 3: something in life for success.
- 23:34Speaker 2: Yeah, that's true, you have to.
- 23:37Speaker 3: I had to sacrifice relationships because there's no way I'm
- 23:41Speaker 3: giving this up. I don't want to have to answer
- 23:45Speaker 3: to someone for someone to have me in their life.
- 23:48Speaker 2: They got to know that.
- 23:49Speaker 3: I want them to know that if I got to
- 23:51Speaker 3: go do something, I'm gonna go do it. It ain't gonna
- 23:53Speaker 3: be no other female involved. I just want to go
- 23:56Speaker 3: do it, and I don't have to explain myself if
- 23:58Speaker 3: I got to go to Paris, I got to go
- 24:00Speaker 3: to Berlin. I want to be able to go without
- 24:05Speaker 3: someone saying to me, I want to go with you.
- 24:09Speaker 3: But my stuff is usually planned right years in advance,
- 24:15Speaker 3: months in advance.
- 24:17Speaker 2: That's how I just moved.
- 24:19Speaker 3: And I know that I have to be able to
- 24:22Speaker 3: do what I want to do when I need to
- 24:23Speaker 3: do it.
- 24:24Speaker 1: I want to ask you this. There was there's a
- 24:26Speaker 1: lot of talk about this last election being swayed in
- 24:34Speaker 1: the favor of Trump through a lot of comedians. Yes
- 24:37Speaker 1: that let's say, you know, they'll say that, you know
- 24:40Speaker 1: Andrew Schulz or Joe Rogan or Theo Vaughn, and I'm
- 24:43Speaker 1: fans of all those guys, but they platformed him. He
- 24:46Speaker 1: came on the show kind of humanized Trump. Yes, do
- 24:49Speaker 1: you how do you feel like because I feel like
- 24:53Speaker 1: that's also maybe a bit of a cop out because
- 24:55Speaker 1: it's like, well, had we like ran a better can
- 25:00Speaker 1: or a more effective campaign. It wouldn't matter.
- 25:03Speaker 2: Yes, you know what I mean.
- 25:04Speaker 1: Yes, and all those places extended the same invite to Kamala. Absolutely,
- 25:09Speaker 1: But I am curious, like, what are your thoughts about
- 25:11Speaker 1: just kind of that whole narrative about comedians having so
- 25:15Speaker 1: much power in these podcasts, having so much power that
- 25:17Speaker 1: if you ask certain people, they'll say that they essentially
- 25:19Speaker 1: got Trump elected.
- 25:21Speaker 2: Hmm.
- 25:23Speaker 3: What's interesting to me is that people don't take the
- 25:27Speaker 3: time to have discernment. When you understand life, you can
- 25:34Speaker 3: tell who a person is within.
- 25:38Speaker 2: Five minutes. True. If you know characters, you know.
- 25:42Speaker 1: People, you'll see tics, people have ticks or little Yeah,
- 25:46Speaker 1: if you're around certain people in certain situations, you'll know
- 25:48Speaker 1: exactly what kind of.
- 25:48Speaker 3: You learned this bout your age, your age, now you
- 25:50Speaker 3: know exactly when this person comes in the room, you
- 25:53Speaker 3: know who that person is all the time.
- 25:56Speaker 1: Or I'm just like hold to certain people and they're
- 25:58Speaker 1: be like, yo, man, I brought my guy. I'm like, bro,
- 25:59Speaker 1: that was weird.
- 26:01Speaker 2: I don't know what it got. So here's what Trump
- 26:03Speaker 2: did to me.
- 26:05Speaker 3: Trump is the guy that met the girl America, Yeah,
- 26:11Speaker 3: and lied to her.
- 26:12Speaker 2: The fuck her? He promised her all these things.
- 26:16Speaker 3: I'm gonna do this for you, baby, I'm gonna love you,
- 26:19Speaker 3: I'm gonna treat you good. And he got in relationship
- 26:23Speaker 3: and fucked up. They tried to impeach him. He started
- 26:27Speaker 3: bringing your family over. He lied to the family. Everybody
- 26:31Speaker 3: fell in love with him, everybody, but he lies just
- 26:36Speaker 3: like a relationship. And what he did was when they separated,
- 26:40Speaker 3: they didn't get divorced, they separated from America. So he
- 26:45Speaker 3: called himself, I'm gonna get myself together, I'm gonna come
- 26:48Speaker 3: back strong. And he came back to America and the
- 26:51Speaker 3: female told her the same lies in a different way,
- 26:57Speaker 3: a different way, and he got back in. And she realizes, America,
- 27:02Speaker 3: now that are you got me again, but this time
- 27:07Speaker 3: you got me for more than the last time. And
- 27:12Speaker 3: that's what America is going through now. They are realizing
- 27:15Speaker 3: they got played. They realized that the same people who
- 27:19Speaker 3: voted for all down, that they out of the country
- 27:22Speaker 3: because of Ice, people who got their cubs for Trump exactly,
- 27:28Speaker 3: people who have died recently because Ice was there. And
- 27:33Speaker 3: because you know you've got a good consequences to your decisions, right,
- 27:37Speaker 3: you voted for Trump.
- 27:38Speaker 1: I mean there's American soldiers that are dead.
- 27:40Speaker 3: Right now exactly because of the war, and people don't
- 27:44Speaker 3: see the way I see the world. So when I
- 27:46Speaker 3: see that said, oh, they let him back in and
- 27:49Speaker 3: he got him good this time.
- 27:51Speaker 1: Have you watched did you watch Chappelle's last special?
- 27:54Speaker 2: Yes? I did.
- 27:55Speaker 1: I feel like Chappelle's specials lately have been more like Sherman's, Like,
- 28:00Speaker 1: like you said, like Chappelle's specials are like I feel
- 28:02Speaker 1: like they're kind of like you're going in and it's
- 28:05Speaker 1: it's it's there's comedy in there, yes, but there's also
- 28:07Speaker 1: like a great storyteller. It's like, let me show you
- 28:11Speaker 1: the mirror so you can look at you.
- 28:12Speaker 3: Yes, yes, yes, He's become one of the most phenomenal
- 28:17Speaker 3: stand up comedians of our time, no doubt about it.
- 28:20Speaker 2: I think too.
- 28:21Speaker 1: It's just like the timing of the last one was
- 28:24Speaker 1: so like I was like, man, this fucking.
- 28:25Speaker 2: Guy just yeah.
- 28:26Speaker 3: And it goes to show you the sooner you start,
- 28:34Speaker 3: the more you have an.
- 28:35Speaker 2: Effect on society.
- 28:36Speaker 3: Because he's been around twenty something years, right, And that's
- 28:39Speaker 3: a great feeling because you can't knock him out the box,
- 28:44Speaker 3: so to speak.
- 28:44Speaker 2: To become number one, right, right, it's not possible. You could.
- 28:48Speaker 3: You could get popular, you can get good, but not
- 28:53Speaker 3: the best, not to be the best immediately because if
- 28:55Speaker 3: you saw me, he was like, oh my god, k
- 28:57Speaker 3: Kirkle is amazing, but how with to take for the world.
- 29:02Speaker 2: Also like me on that level.
- 29:03Speaker 1: You're a better comedian than you were forty years ago.
- 29:05Speaker 3: Absolutely, And I've been good since day one. Right, this
- 29:08Speaker 3: is I know for a fact.
- 29:10Speaker 4: But I'm saying, but no matter what it is you do,
- 29:12Speaker 4: the more you do it, you're gonna get better.
- 29:14Speaker 3: You're gonna get better. So that's my thing. Dave Chappelle
- 29:17Speaker 3: has really done his thing. And it also taught me
- 29:19Speaker 3: because when Kevin Hart started, I knew Kevin before he
- 29:22Speaker 3: blew up and when I saw his special and I
- 29:24Speaker 3: actually said this on the Breakfast Cloud, I said that
- 29:27Speaker 3: he wasn't funny. But because of the way the world
- 29:29Speaker 3: is set up now, you say something like that, they
- 29:32Speaker 3: take it.
- 29:33Speaker 2: To heart and oh he's a hater.
- 29:35Speaker 3: But I felt at that time Kevin wasn't funny.
- 29:38Speaker 1: Which special one, the one during COVID was not good.
- 29:43Speaker 3: It is when he was when he first got started.
- 29:45Speaker 3: His first specure that came out.
- 29:46Speaker 1: Oh the first one okay, yeah, and then one.
- 29:50Speaker 2: Night I was in my home look for something to watch.
- 29:54Speaker 2: This is years later and you rewatched it. No, watch
- 29:56Speaker 2: something else, Okay, I said Kevin Funny, I did a
- 30:00Speaker 2: mother fu.
- 30:00Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 30:03Speaker 2: But I can't now go back on another interview.
- 30:06Speaker 3: And say, man, because people hold you to what you
- 30:09Speaker 3: said the first time, because people don't see life is
- 30:12Speaker 3: about growth and because you said something then doesn't mean
- 30:17Speaker 3: that's the way I feel.
- 30:19Speaker 2: Now.
- 30:20Speaker 1: Hey, man, Raffi Law Group new a sponsor the Bootleg
- 30:22Speaker 1: Cap podcast. Want to give some love to that man.
- 30:24Speaker 1: I just was in Arizona, just did.
- 30:26Speaker 2: A photo shoot. Show some of those photos.
- 30:27Speaker 1: While I'm talking, man, you already know I'm not only
- 30:32Speaker 1: an endorser of Raffi. I'm also a client.
- 30:35Speaker 2: That's right.
- 30:36Speaker 1: My wife got into a fender bender and Raffi took
- 30:38Speaker 1: care of her exponentially. It was so easy. And when
- 30:42Speaker 1: I tell you, man, if you get into an accident,
- 30:44Speaker 1: maybe a little injury situation, there's only one guy I trust,
- 30:48Speaker 1: one law group I trust. It's Raffi Law Group called
- 30:51Speaker 1: six two, three, three, eight eight forty three thirty three.
- 30:54Speaker 1: Whether it's a car accident, a personal injury, situation, whatever
- 30:58Speaker 1: the case is. They alleviate all the stress. They've helped
- 31:01Speaker 1: over seventy thousand people in as.
- 31:03Speaker 2: Now.
- 31:04Speaker 1: Look, I know you're driving around. You see the billboards everywhere.
- 31:06Speaker 1: You're like, ah, is this guy just like another one
- 31:08Speaker 1: of these billboard lawyers. No, the amount of care, the
- 31:11Speaker 1: amount of attention to detail that they do everything with,
- 31:14Speaker 1: it's the best. One more time, if you need help,
- 31:17Speaker 1: you gotta call Raffi, just like I did when my
- 31:19Speaker 1: wife got into an accident. Asy, you gotta trust Raffi man,
- 31:23Speaker 1: all Right, they're the best. Raffi log Group the newest
- 31:26Speaker 1: sponsor of the Bootleg Cab podcast. One more time, don't
- 31:29Speaker 1: forget to save the number. Call Raffi if you get
- 31:32Speaker 1: into an accident six two, three, three eight eight forty
- 31:35Speaker 1: three thirty three.
- 31:37Speaker 2: Let's get back to the podcast because things do change. Yeah.
- 31:40Speaker 1: I feel like sometimes with comedians too, we will always
- 31:45Speaker 1: hold Like if you're like Kat Williams and you have
- 31:48Speaker 1: like some of the greatest stand up specials of all time, Yes,
- 31:51Speaker 1: it's almost.
- 31:52Speaker 2: Like no matter what you do, yes, it's always gonna
- 31:55Speaker 2: be like Yeah, it's cool, absolutely.
- 31:58Speaker 1: Like, but it's not like cat like Kat was at
- 32:01Speaker 1: his peak, you know, in this and it's like.
- 32:03Speaker 3: The thing that I'm against though in comedy is comics
- 32:07Speaker 3: doing five six Netflix specials.
- 32:10Speaker 2: In what in what timeframe?
- 32:11Speaker 3: And I don'tkay how long, ten twelve years, because it
- 32:15Speaker 3: takes away from to me who you are.
- 32:19Speaker 2: Back in the day.
- 32:19Speaker 3: You might have did two HBO specials or Showtime Richard
- 32:25Speaker 3: pryor Eddie Murphy. It was never sick. I mean, how
- 32:28Speaker 3: much more can you say?
- 32:30Speaker 1: Yeah, I feel like a lot of guys are kind
- 32:31Speaker 1: of on a two year cycle. Yeah, every two years
- 32:34Speaker 1: there's a new hour.
- 32:35Speaker 3: And you gotta give other comics a shot. It's so
- 32:38Speaker 3: many comedians out here in the world that all comics
- 32:43Speaker 3: who are talented should have the opportunity to perform. But
- 32:48Speaker 3: who's ever making these decisions rotates the same people, And
- 32:52Speaker 3: there's nothing against the people who are doing it. I'm
- 32:54Speaker 3: even getting a bag, But there's so many other comics.
- 32:58Speaker 1: Well, I think YouTube has been a rate tool for
- 33:00Speaker 1: comics to jump over.
- 33:03Speaker 2: Yes, that's true. Ali, Yeah, he's doing his thing.
- 33:07Speaker 1: One of the biggest. Yes he is, and all his
- 33:09Speaker 1: stuff just on YouTube. Yes, yes, like he is one
- 33:12Speaker 1: of them once. Yes, yeah, he's doing his thing. He's
- 33:15Speaker 1: doing his thing. But yeah, I just yeah, I feel
- 33:19Speaker 1: like comedy has always had its place in like the
- 33:23Speaker 1: social you know, commentary of whatever's going on in the world.
- 33:28Speaker 1: And I just, you know, I feel like the last
- 33:29Speaker 1: year and a half, like a lot of weight has
- 33:32Speaker 1: been put on, like the power.
- 33:33Speaker 3: Yeah, it goes to show you, like even with the
- 33:35Speaker 3: heat that Charlamagne is getting right now from Donald Trump, right,
- 33:40Speaker 3: you know, And that's also a gift for a curse
- 33:45Speaker 3: because we live in the world now, because he's on
- 33:48Speaker 3: the radar that somebody could try to kill him, just
- 33:50Speaker 3: because that's how this stuff.
- 33:52Speaker 2: Is, you know.
- 33:54Speaker 3: And I read so much about political leaders or how
- 33:59Speaker 3: they make disappear or they do something to you.
- 34:03Speaker 2: And at the end of the day, what people don't
- 34:06Speaker 2: stand it's nothing you really could do.
- 34:08Speaker 3: If something happens to you, there's nothing nothing you can do,
- 34:11Speaker 3: you could do. You're gonna be a complainer, that's it.
- 34:14Speaker 3: They un knocked off Martin Luther King, they knocked off
- 34:17Speaker 3: Malcolm X, they knocked off so many I've got the
- 34:20Speaker 3: guy's name and God and Congo years ago.
- 34:23Speaker 1: They've knocked off so many heads of government. Yes, sir,
- 34:26Speaker 1: they have thrown, I mean overthrown every regime you can
- 34:30Speaker 1: think of it.
- 34:31Speaker 2: Yeah, it's like if you get too loud, who's saying
- 34:36Speaker 2: and is it worth it?
- 34:39Speaker 3: See, because you could talk, you could be that strong
- 34:41Speaker 3: leader or thank you that strong leader. But I've seen
- 34:47Speaker 3: what they can do to you.
- 34:50Speaker 2: Tee.
- 34:50Speaker 1: I gotta uh one. I want. I always wonder because
- 34:54Speaker 1: there's this I don't know if you're an aliens guy,
- 34:56Speaker 1: I'm listening, but there's I don't know if you've been hearing.
- 34:59Speaker 1: What's going on supposed to be like a congressional hearing
- 35:01Speaker 1: where a lot of new information is gonna get revealed
- 35:03Speaker 1: about supposed alien ships in the ocean and all kinds
- 35:09Speaker 1: of transdimensional beings.
- 35:13Speaker 2: If we find it.
- 35:14Speaker 1: It's crazy that we live in a time where this
- 35:17Speaker 1: is not like the number one new story in the
- 35:18Speaker 1: world because the world is so fucked. Yes, if we
- 35:23Speaker 1: find out for sure aliens are a real thing, how
- 35:26Speaker 1: does it change the world? In your opinion, nobody gonna
- 35:29Speaker 1: give a fuck if they show their faces. If we
- 35:31Speaker 1: realize we're that small, do you think it humbles like
- 35:35Speaker 1: people humans with.
- 35:37Speaker 3: If you if you have a high IQ, you appreciate it,
- 35:42Speaker 3: like wow, I always knew it.
- 35:44Speaker 2: Maybe I should move differently.
- 35:46Speaker 3: Maybe if they spoke and had sat down in your
- 35:50Speaker 3: podcast srite some real shit and tell them how they
- 35:53Speaker 3: should change they tell us how we should change the
- 35:55Speaker 3: world and get your lives better. I think something like
- 35:57Speaker 3: that can shake up the world and make you really
- 36:00Speaker 3: want to get your shit together, you know. But right now,
- 36:03Speaker 3: everybody's just winging it.
- 36:05Speaker 1: Everyone's winging it.
- 36:07Speaker 2: Doing what they want to do. No morals, no respect.
- 36:10Speaker 1: No worries about the consequence, nothing, how it affects other people.
- 36:14Speaker 3: Yes, they're just running it and that's sad. And I
- 36:17Speaker 3: would think it would be a great thing, especially if
- 36:19Speaker 3: they could talk. Yeah, so as they could talk and
- 36:22Speaker 3: not be evil. Well yeah, yeah, like the Donald Trump
- 36:26Speaker 3: right yeah, or some politically like.
- 36:28Speaker 1: We're gonna get to the point where like these motherfuckers
- 36:31Speaker 1: are really about to drop nukes and then aliens are
- 36:34Speaker 1: gonna be like, hey, right.
- 36:36Speaker 2: Exactly.
- 36:37Speaker 1: But I also feel like this whole alien thing is
- 36:40Speaker 1: very convenient that like the US government is talking about
- 36:44Speaker 1: revealing this shit in the middle of like the Epstein
- 36:48Speaker 1: files and war, and it just feels like it could
- 36:50Speaker 1: be a crazy football they're throwing for everyone.
- 36:53Speaker 2: What people don't understand.
- 36:54Speaker 3: Like I said, go, I go way back to when
- 36:58Speaker 3: the government was fighting AFGA and the stand.
- 37:00Speaker 2: All this stuff was to throw people off.
- 37:04Speaker 3: Yeah, and they loop back around every so often to
- 37:07Speaker 3: throw people off when it's necessary, called loop. And the
- 37:10Speaker 3: people fall for it every time, Yeah, every time, because
- 37:16Speaker 3: guess why we're complainers. There's nothing we can do some
- 37:24Speaker 3: real shit, man, nothing. It's a great conversation amongst podcasters
- 37:30Speaker 3: on the news. So when I see him talk, I say,
- 37:33Speaker 3: all we do is complaining.
- 37:34Speaker 1: It's just entertainment. There doing nothing you can actually do.
- 37:36Speaker 2: There's nothing you can do right now.
- 37:39Speaker 3: You can fight some things, you know, you can fight
- 37:42Speaker 3: some things. This motherfucker running it. When Donald Trump leaves office,
- 37:49Speaker 3: he's gonna be a trillionaire.
- 37:51Speaker 1: His sons are all I mean, his his nineteen year
- 37:54Speaker 1: old son has made one hundred and eighty million dollars
- 37:57Speaker 1: since he's been elected. He's nineteen's right, How does that?
- 38:01Speaker 2: What is right?
- 38:03Speaker 1: Yeah, it's it's it's crazy.
- 38:05Speaker 2: It's a cold hustle.
- 38:06Speaker 3: It's a cold hust And people got to understand that's
- 38:10Speaker 3: what this country is really made out of.
- 38:12Speaker 1: This is who we are.
- 38:13Speaker 2: When you go way back to the early let's say nineteen.
- 38:18Speaker 1: The Rockefellers and uh, yeah, this is who we are.
- 38:22Speaker 1: It's just it's just like he's showing us, like, no,
- 38:25Speaker 1: we are. We are the country of fucking consumers, yes,
- 38:28Speaker 1: and greed, yes, and gluttony. This is who America is.
- 38:33Speaker 2: When you like, you're a worldly guy.
- 38:35Speaker 1: When you go to like Japan, you're like, oh my god,
- 38:38Speaker 1: it's a Tokyo's such a clean place. But it's a
- 38:41Speaker 1: major city and everyone's very respectable. It's wyed in.
- 38:45Speaker 3: Public based on leadership. See, leadership is everything. Like when
- 38:49Speaker 3: you come to your house, everything is in order because
- 38:51Speaker 3: you're a great leader.
- 38:52Speaker 1: I got some crazy franchise that keep my house in disarray,
- 38:55Speaker 1: but outside of the.
- 38:56Speaker 2: Dogs, yeah you got you have leadership.
- 38:58Speaker 1: I give my wife all the household credit though.
- 39:01Speaker 3: Yes, but if a man came to your house, yeah
- 39:04Speaker 3: they see leadership. Like I was on the show the
- 39:06Speaker 3: other day but big boy, you know, of course big
- 39:09Speaker 3: and shout out the big and I was talking about
- 39:11Speaker 3: how men should wear pajamas in their home. He said,
- 39:13Speaker 3: what do you mean, TK, I said, leadership is everything.
- 39:17Speaker 3: You open your door, you should look presentable, not shorts
- 39:22Speaker 3: and socks.
- 39:23Speaker 2: Right now, you don't have to wear on the bed,
- 39:27Speaker 2: but around the house, around the.
- 39:29Speaker 3: Home, some nice slippers because it looks good, it looks elegant.
- 39:33Speaker 3: It makes you feel made. So Big Boy was like,
- 39:34Speaker 3: should I wear to have the go and all that?
- 39:37Speaker 3: And I was like, no, I just think that you
- 39:39Speaker 3: feel amazing as a man.
- 39:43Speaker 2: And I told this I did.
- 39:44Speaker 3: I talked about this not too long ago, and Chris
- 39:46Speaker 3: Spencer called me and he came me and shout out
- 39:49Speaker 3: to Christmins and he was saying, how man. Because I
- 39:52Speaker 3: saw that interview, I went and got me some goddamn
- 39:55Speaker 3: pajamas and I just want men to understand that you
- 39:59Speaker 3: do J's in the hotel though I should do.
- 40:02Speaker 1: See that's different. I'm in a hotel but naked.
- 40:04Speaker 3: Yeah, I would like d Ray David. The date was
- 40:07Speaker 3: in Ontario. We was all the same hotel and I
- 40:11Speaker 3: had to come downstairs and he literally was recording me
- 40:14Speaker 3: laughing because I had Amazon. But what I wanted to
- 40:18Speaker 3: show the world I'm a man. This is how men
- 40:21Speaker 3: dresses that got swag and style. And I came, you know,
- 40:25Speaker 3: my stuff, you fly. So I came down you know,
- 40:27Speaker 3: just just go do what I gotta do and go
- 40:30Speaker 3: back and he recorded me. You know, but I just
- 40:34Speaker 3: this is just my opinion. You know, it doesn't make
- 40:36Speaker 3: you a man. It just shows that you have to
- 40:38Speaker 3: discipline to do this, and that's what it's about, disciplined
- 40:43Speaker 3: respect and on and plus, some guys need to wear
- 40:46Speaker 3: pajamas because their bodies are sucked up and you need
- 40:49Speaker 3: to cover it. And it makes you, it makes it
- 40:52Speaker 3: makes you a tractor to your girl. If you got
- 40:55Speaker 3: a horrible body, if you're a fat walking around you
- 41:01Speaker 3: things look ugly and not in place, cover it up.
- 41:05Speaker 3: Cover it up, because now she's looking at you like, wow,
- 41:09Speaker 3: I got to look at this all exactly, you know,
- 41:12Speaker 3: because men know anybody's are right, and women too. Women
- 41:16Speaker 3: should have a nice but jama set or nice robe,
- 41:22Speaker 3: not no auntie's robe, something nice because at the end
- 41:25Speaker 3: of the day, ladies, you gotta come to bed ready
- 41:30Speaker 3: just in case your man wants something. And the same
- 41:34Speaker 3: with guys. Everybody gotta always wash their ass, always got
- 41:37Speaker 3: everybody gotta smell good. When you are in a relationship.
- 41:40Speaker 3: You gotta take a shower every night and get in
- 41:42Speaker 3: bed just in case it goes down, just in case.
- 41:46Speaker 3: Be ready, be ready, yes, stay ready. Because I might
- 41:49Speaker 3: want to get you at two or three o'clock in
- 41:50Speaker 3: the morning.
- 41:52Speaker 2: I think that's real.
- 41:54Speaker 1: H Can you tell me about this show lot of
- 41:56Speaker 1: Patrol with Carl Pain that you you know about that?
- 41:59Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, we got We filmed this a while ago
- 42:03Speaker 3: and we just did some something. This comes out in June.
- 42:07Speaker 3: I didn't want to.
- 42:08Speaker 2: Do the TV show I did. I did not like.
- 42:15Speaker 3: Being on set all day studying lines and even though
- 42:23Speaker 3: the show was about me, you know, it's my show. Yeah,
- 42:28Speaker 3: and Manny it's a big fan of mine. And he said, TK,
- 42:34Speaker 3: you gotta do this. So I did it. So we
- 42:37Speaker 3: started last year on some things. He sent me a
- 42:42Speaker 3: script two days prior to me coming from Paris, and
- 42:45Speaker 3: I felt bad. I got here and I didn't. I
- 42:49Speaker 3: wasn't prepared the way I wanted to be prepared, because
- 42:51Speaker 3: anything I do, I want to give it one.
- 42:55Speaker 2: But I was good enough to wing it. When I
- 42:58Speaker 2: come back.
- 43:00Speaker 3: You know, they have the edits or the credits they
- 43:02Speaker 3: showing everybody is saying how good I am. I was like,
- 43:05Speaker 3: what I'm thinking. They gassing me, there's a ticket You're
- 43:08Speaker 3: about to be a star. I said, shut the fuck up.
- 43:11Speaker 3: We're hearing it. I'm hearing it all. They're on to set,
- 43:17Speaker 3: so to the point that my mind is getting a
- 43:21Speaker 3: little more confident.
- 43:23Speaker 1: Right, I'm like, is this ship about the pop off?
- 43:26Speaker 3: Then I get an independent film. They don't get ready.
- 43:28Speaker 3: They get me a show and Sundance that's supposed to
- 43:31Speaker 3: be huge. I'm like, what's going again?
- 43:34Speaker 1: Organic, Maybe run acting, run and we'll see what happens
- 43:39Speaker 1: with it. I've always been about the money. It's too
- 43:45Speaker 1: many actors and actors that are struggling because they want
- 43:48Speaker 1: to act. They got problems with the studio not getting
- 43:51Speaker 1: their money. They the ages whatever, didn't do the proper
- 43:56Speaker 1: contract for them to get paid.
- 44:00Speaker 2: I just never wanted to be in that situation where
- 44:02Speaker 2: you where you're.
- 44:03Speaker 1: At the behest of somebody else.
- 44:05Speaker 3: Oh that's a horrible feeling because I know I am see.
- 44:08Speaker 3: I avoid things to make sure I don't do nothing wrong.
- 44:12Speaker 3: So I do things right and do things right. It's
- 44:15Speaker 3: got to be my way because no one can owe
- 44:17Speaker 3: me that kind of money. I think differently. I'm not
- 44:22Speaker 3: gonna say what I'll do right, but if someone knows
- 44:23Speaker 3: you that kind of money, I just think differently, and
- 44:26Speaker 3: I don't play. So I'm not gonna put myself in
- 44:29Speaker 3: a situation to think like that. Too much to lose.
- 44:32Speaker 3: So what's real is what I do?
- 44:35Speaker 1: What is Is there a home for the TV show yet?
- 44:38Speaker 2: Yeah? They got it.
- 44:39Speaker 3: I'm not gonna say it, you know, and let them
- 44:41Speaker 3: do the announcement. But I'm excited, dope and see what happens.
- 44:44Speaker 3: Like anything, what I'm doing right now is amazing because
- 44:49Speaker 3: it beats a sisted living.
- 44:51Speaker 1: Ain't that the truth? Because a lot of people that
- 44:53Speaker 1: are your age, yes right, are down bad exactly.
- 44:56Speaker 3: I'm not in know fifty and up community, right. I
- 45:02Speaker 3: don't even think my neighbors think I'm as old as
- 45:05Speaker 3: I think because they said I ride scooters.
- 45:07Speaker 2: You know, I got electric bikes. Oh you got to
- 45:10Speaker 2: eat bikes? I got yo. I do all that.
- 45:12Speaker 3: I get to have my little cigar. I'll ride through
- 45:14Speaker 3: the neighborhood like a O G.
- 45:17Speaker 2: God.
- 45:18Speaker 3: I think you know the cars I have is amazing
- 45:20Speaker 3: for a senior citizen for sure.
- 45:21Speaker 1: You know, do you ever do you do you like
- 45:24Speaker 1: to use that the discount though?
- 45:27Speaker 2: Use that?
- 45:27Speaker 1: Oh yeah, oh absolutely, senior discount.
- 45:30Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 45:31Speaker 3: And I want people to understand becoming a senior citizen.
- 45:34Speaker 3: It sounds crazy. People are gonna like laugh a little
- 45:37Speaker 3: bit because we get older. And I want people to
- 45:40Speaker 3: understand something about to say. And it hit me one day.
- 45:47Speaker 3: I want everybody who's watching and listening to me, I want.
- 45:51Speaker 2: You to understand this.
- 45:52Speaker 3: The goal is to fill out your paperwork for Social Security.
- 45:56Speaker 3: It's the biggest reward of your life because.
- 46:00Speaker 2: You made it. You made it that far.
- 46:03Speaker 3: A lot of people don't make it true, A lot
- 46:07Speaker 3: of people never get the opportunity to get their social secured.
- 46:11Speaker 1: Would you've been paying in your whole life?
- 46:13Speaker 3: And I thought about that. I said, man, this is
- 46:16Speaker 3: an honor right. People don't make it this far. And
- 46:24Speaker 3: that's how what these people understand. To cherish this life
- 46:27Speaker 3: that we have, because you can make it. Like you
- 46:31Speaker 3: just gotta make good decisions, cut off people that sway
- 46:34Speaker 3: you different ways.
- 46:37Speaker 2: And if you don't know who you are, just keep swinging.
- 46:41Speaker 2: Just keep swinging. Soon as lady gonna get a knockout.
- 46:44Speaker 3: Yeah, just keep so. I don't care how many years
- 46:48Speaker 3: it take. Keep swinging.
- 46:50Speaker 2: Yeah, you got to you gotta keep shooting.
- 46:52Speaker 1: Man, got to, Yes, sir, I'm an example. I mean,
- 46:56Speaker 1: like you just said, look at you're about to be
- 46:57Speaker 1: on a little actor run in your sixties. A thought
- 47:00Speaker 1: this shit would have went down while getting off an
- 47:03Speaker 1: arena tour exactly, So it's insane. Yeah.
- 47:07Speaker 3: And then we're supposed to do our podcast, yeah, you know,
- 47:10Speaker 3: and paperwork everything, and we still can do it later.
- 47:12Speaker 1: Yeah, it's just that what I like about what.
- 47:15Speaker 3: I'm doing in podcasting, in these interviews, I controlled me, right,
- 47:21Speaker 3: I know, I'm going to show up.
- 47:23Speaker 2: What's your what?
- 47:25Speaker 1: Because I feel like Vlad gets a rap that a
- 47:28Speaker 1: negative wrap amongst a lot of people, especially in the
- 47:31Speaker 1: hip hop community. Yes, he's been in the news a bit.
- 47:36Speaker 2: Boozy and him.
- 47:37Speaker 1: Yes, kind of had a breakup and then him in
- 47:39Speaker 1: the air spears. Yes, what is your relationship with Vlad
- 47:44Speaker 1: and your just take on.
- 47:45Speaker 2: Vlad and.
- 47:47Speaker 3: You're a regular Yeah, me and Blad talk off off
- 47:49Speaker 3: off the air. Super smart guy, Yes, super smart, So
- 47:53Speaker 3: we talk. I give me, you know a lot of
- 47:54Speaker 3: people don't know. He calls me a lot like I give.
- 47:58Speaker 2: Him what my opinion are.
- 48:04Speaker 3: Blag caught the bug, Glad. It's a celebrity now.
- 48:09Speaker 2: It got them.
- 48:10Speaker 1: I mean, look, he was in the he was in
- 48:12Speaker 1: the boondocks. That was like.
- 48:14Speaker 2: Fifteen years ago. Yeah, blag caught the celebrity.
- 48:19Speaker 3: Niche and he's running with it. Me personally, I think
- 48:24Speaker 3: he should still stay low key. But he's a young kid,
- 48:27Speaker 3: lads like, and it's late fortyes, maybe fifty.
- 48:30Speaker 1: Yeah, he's probably around that, like late forty.
- 48:32Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 48:32Speaker 3: Yeah, he's a he's a young kid, so he's gonna enjoy.
- 48:35Speaker 3: He's making a lot of money, he's doing this thing.
- 48:40Speaker 3: I hate that these these situations are public, you know,
- 48:43Speaker 3: because I'm old school, and when I see things go
- 48:45Speaker 3: public about people's personal business.
- 48:47Speaker 2: It bothers me.
- 48:48Speaker 3: But it's a different world out here today, and people
- 48:51Speaker 3: fight and do things differently. I don't agree with a
- 48:54Speaker 3: lot of stuff, but I've learned to understand I'm a dinosaur.
- 48:58Speaker 3: The way my people think, my generation, the way you
- 49:01Speaker 3: move that is the past. It's a new way of
- 49:05Speaker 3: doing things today, and you could share stuff every now
- 49:08Speaker 3: and then. Some people get it well.
- 49:11Speaker 1: I think like sometimes like we like content, creators will
- 49:14Speaker 1: think like, well, everything's content. But I think Vlad's at
- 49:17Speaker 1: least I didn't see Aery Spirits go public with their
- 49:19Speaker 1: disagreements first. But I think Vlad was like, well, look
- 49:24Speaker 1: if you went public with this disagreement Yeah, I'm gonna.
- 49:26Speaker 3: Real that's what he told me, because otherwise it would
- 49:29Speaker 3: have been private. Yeah, and I spoke to him. The
- 49:31Speaker 3: same thing happened with Boozy.
- 49:32Speaker 2: We did.
- 49:32Speaker 1: Boozye wasn't on the platform for like eight months. Yes,
- 49:35Speaker 1: and you didn't hear Blad say why not? Absolutely until
- 49:37Speaker 1: Boozy spoke up. Yeah, exactly, And I talked to I'm
- 49:40Speaker 1: glad about it, and he said, t K. I would
- 49:41Speaker 1: have never said nothing. They didn't say something first, and
- 49:44Speaker 1: he felt he had to address it. You got to
- 49:46Speaker 1: control your nag.
- 49:47Speaker 3: Yeah, it's a different world. So I understand it. The
- 49:50Speaker 3: thing that I'm going to tell any comment that go
- 49:53Speaker 3: in the show, and you're want to have beef with Vlad,
- 49:55Speaker 3: he's the wrong person to go up against. He's like
- 50:00Speaker 3: Kendrick lamar Ice Cube. He does his research, he has
- 50:07Speaker 3: his ducks and or his due diligence, and he'll destroy you.
- 50:12Speaker 3: He'll destroy you. And he got the platform. He's got
- 50:15Speaker 3: the platform. He's got seven million subscribers. Yeah, he has
- 50:18Speaker 3: the platform. Whatever situation is, leave it alone, going into
- 50:22Speaker 3: the wind, because he can destroy your career.
- 50:24Speaker 1: Well, you see him. He said about airy spears essentially,
- 50:29Speaker 1: like how his platform had helped Aery Spears' comedy career
- 50:35Speaker 1: because it raised his profile. You feel like you going
- 50:38Speaker 1: on BLAD. Have you seen the benefits of it?
- 50:40Speaker 2: Oh?
- 50:40Speaker 3: Yes, absolutely, yeah, absolutely, And what people are saying, I
- 50:43Speaker 3: was on BLAD before people even thought about going on
- 50:45Speaker 3: Black for sure. You've been on Yeah, I think about
- 50:48Speaker 3: fourteen years now. And I'll give him his prose every
- 50:56Speaker 3: time and say how you guys are now? As is
- 51:00Speaker 3: my family. All the platforms all over the world changed
- 51:04Speaker 3: my life because, like I said, when I was coming
- 51:06Speaker 3: up in the game, you want to hear David Letterman
- 51:09Speaker 3: our senior he got canceled.
- 51:11Speaker 2: Yeah, our senior.
- 51:12Speaker 3: Before he got canceled because he wasn't only that long,
- 51:14Speaker 3: so you had to get.
- 51:15Speaker 2: Him run though it was a meaningful Yeah it was.
- 51:17Speaker 2: It wasn't long, but it wasn't long.
- 51:19Speaker 1: But there was the Magic Johnson Show, Tommy Davidson at a.
- 51:22Speaker 2: Show, all that.
- 51:23Speaker 3: But I never had those opportunities. And I knew, and
- 51:27Speaker 3: I think I told this to you once when he
- 51:28Speaker 3: was on the phone. I knew in the nineties that
- 51:31Speaker 3: the people that were going to help me was gonna
- 51:34Speaker 3: be your age. And this is before what I saw
- 51:36Speaker 3: social media. This wasn't existing, right, these platforms, and this
- 51:41Speaker 3: changed my life. And I just want to say thank
- 51:44Speaker 3: thank you technology.
- 51:45Speaker 1: Well, if no more gatekeepers now, exactly, you can't stop me,
- 51:49Speaker 1: I mean, and I tell that people. People say that
- 51:51Speaker 1: to me all the time. They're like, for some reason,
- 51:55Speaker 1: I'm from Phoenix, and I guess I've kept everyone from
- 51:58Speaker 1: Arizona from making it in music.
- 51:59Speaker 2: Right.
- 52:00Speaker 1: But it's like there's that doesn't exist anymore. Yes, Like
- 52:04Speaker 1: like you said, it's like there's the Internet has removed
- 52:07Speaker 1: all you can't We talked about it earlier. It's like
- 52:10Speaker 1: there's comedians who jumped over Netflix and said, all right,
- 52:12Speaker 1: we fuck Netflix. Right, I'm gonna just upload my shirt
- 52:15Speaker 1: on YouTube.
- 52:15Speaker 2: Yeah, and now I'm.
- 52:16Speaker 3: Gonna go tour exactly. So I love that what has happened.
- 52:20Speaker 3: No one could stop me but me.
- 52:22Speaker 2: Yeah. Oh I love that feeling. No, that's awesome. Oh man.
- 52:26Speaker 3: And like I said, I'm in my late sixties. I
- 52:29Speaker 3: feel like I'm thirty something years old.
- 52:31Speaker 2: Yeah, man, living.
- 52:33Speaker 3: Goods, smoking good cigars, got the little corner in the restaurants,
- 52:38Speaker 3: so I can see everybody in like twenties a brown.
- 52:40Speaker 2: I love it.
- 52:43Speaker 1: Well, listen, I appreciate you pulling up TK. The tour
- 52:48Speaker 1: still got some West coast dates.
- 52:49Speaker 3: Yes, we're in May twenty third, but then Vegas one
- 52:51Speaker 3: of the things that's important, ladies and gentlemen, and get
- 52:54Speaker 3: your tickets today June twelfth to the fourteenth at the
- 53:00Speaker 3: Ice House in Pasadena.
- 53:01Speaker 1: Shout to pass it, run it back one of my
- 53:04Speaker 1: favorite comedy club.
- 53:05Speaker 2: Yeah you came. Yeah, if you saw me at the
- 53:08Speaker 2: into it, don't.
- 53:10Speaker 3: Come see t K because because.
- 53:12Speaker 1: It's a whole different experience. I'm sure you see me what.
- 53:15Speaker 4: I'm saying like, it's a different I can't imagine you're
- 53:18Speaker 4: doing what you do in fifteen minutes exactly because you
- 53:22Speaker 4: have to see everything about what my show is, because
- 53:26Speaker 4: it's an experience, is laughter, is knowledge all in one.
- 53:32Speaker 3: And I just love the way my show motivates people
- 53:38Speaker 3: in life and laugh at the same time. Because what
- 53:42Speaker 3: are you don't going to intimidate you or inspire you.
- 53:46Speaker 2: It's no other way.
- 53:47Speaker 3: No, maybe you're gonna walk out of being mad at
- 53:50Speaker 3: me because you ain't got your ship together, or you're
- 53:53Speaker 3: gonna leave wow, because I tell people now you know
- 53:56Speaker 3: I've overs talk about LLC's EI n's so Now I
- 53:59Speaker 3: got a program with some gentlemen in Chicago, and it's
- 54:02Speaker 3: called t Kgvcomway dot com okay, and I teach people
- 54:06Speaker 3: now how to be government contractors. There's so much money
- 54:12Speaker 3: in that, see, you know, and you can't be lazy.
- 54:17Speaker 3: You can't be lazy. You can't be lazy. You gotta
- 54:22Speaker 3: go get it. So anybody's watching, go to t K
- 54:25Speaker 3: gov t K G O V C O n W
- 54:28Speaker 3: A Y look at it, look at the webinar and
- 54:33Speaker 3: see if you're interested. Because you can't call the team
- 54:36Speaker 3: because you know, you got to sign up, literally sign up.
- 54:40Speaker 3: You gotta send them an appointment like kind of like
- 54:41Speaker 3: an interview, and they see if you're qualified.
- 54:45Speaker 1: To their's government contracts.
- 54:47Speaker 2: Literally if you're a graphic designer. Yeah. But here's the thing.
- 54:50Speaker 3: You're not selling stuff. What we're doing is we're teaching
- 54:54Speaker 3: you to work for the government. The greatest thing. That
- 54:57Speaker 3: not the greatest thing. Let me make sure I clear
- 54:59Speaker 3: that what Donald Trump did was he gave government contracting
- 55:03Speaker 3: trillions of dollars. So let me Spain through its many
- 55:05Speaker 3: lais down. If let you I always use this very
- 55:08Speaker 3: small example. Let's say that you want to bid because
- 55:12Speaker 3: most people don't know how to bid, or they get
- 55:13Speaker 3: there and they lose.
- 55:14Speaker 2: Yeah, but if you win the bid and we teach
- 55:16Speaker 2: you eight.
- 55:17Speaker 3: Weeks, it is of course that you take for eight
- 55:19Speaker 3: weeks to teach you how to bid. Then guys of
- 55:21Speaker 3: parents and failing, the whole team is excellent. They teach
- 55:25Speaker 3: you how to bid. Then what you do is, let's
- 55:27Speaker 3: say your state or whatever. These pencils, right, and you
- 55:33Speaker 3: had to come up with five ten thousand dollars one.
- 55:35Speaker 3: If you didn't have the money, we loan you the
- 55:37Speaker 3: money until you win your contract. And once you buy
- 55:41Speaker 3: these pens or pencils for schools, the government, you know
- 55:44Speaker 3: how they do.
- 55:45Speaker 2: They pay you later, but hundreds of thousands.
- 55:49Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying.
- 55:50Speaker 3: It's the same way the government milks the defense companies.
- 55:55Speaker 1: It's literally the entire yes ghost act, like this is
- 56:00Speaker 1: how America runs exactly.
- 56:02Speaker 3: A little screw on the spaceship this big pay twenty.
- 56:07Speaker 1: I mean, it was in the news recently because Christy
- 56:10Speaker 1: nom the DHS secretary. They they were giving contracts government
- 56:16Speaker 1: contracts to companies that were just started within two or
- 56:19Speaker 1: three weeks exactly, which was I mean, she's going to
- 56:22Speaker 1: get investigated and people are going to have a prison
- 56:24Speaker 1: over that.
- 56:24Speaker 2: Yep.
- 56:24Speaker 1: But she was handing out seven figure contracts to her friends.
- 56:28Speaker 2: She sure was for that.
- 56:31Speaker 1: Like, so it's it's a thing.
- 56:33Speaker 3: It's a thing. Yeah, and you got to get a
- 56:35Speaker 3: piece of a lady. Gentlemen, so and follow me a
- 56:37Speaker 3: TK underscored Kirklaim. Don't forget ice House and Pasadena June
- 56:43Speaker 3: twelfth to the fourteenth. Please make sure you get the tickets.
- 56:45Speaker 3: Come witness what everybody's been talking about for years. I
- 56:49Speaker 3: guarantee you won't be disappointed. It's always a pleasure family,
