- 0:21Speaker 2: are in TV and movies. But get this, they're not
- 0:26Speaker 2: those characters in real life.
- 0:28Speaker 3: When you're watching a movie or a television show, what
- 0:31Speaker 3: you're watching as a person portraying a character that they aren't.
- 0:38Speaker 4: Put all these people together, and boy do we have
- 0:41Speaker 4: process to talk.
- 0:43Speaker 3: Now.
- 0:43Speaker 5: Let's turn off your head, turn on those feelers, start
- 0:48Speaker 5: empathizing and listen in.
- 0:58Speaker 6: Wow, yeah, this is great. Wow. Yeah, me and all
- 1:02Speaker 6: you guys.
- 1:03Speaker 3: Yeah, really everybody that's good, really really humble. It's really
- 1:07Speaker 3: honored to be here, guys, really excited to be here
- 1:10Speaker 3: with all you guys.
- 1:11Speaker 7: Can me go around and say names?

- 1:16Speaker 1: Yeah, go ahead of course, Zoobie, Zoobie Zoo.
- 1:20Speaker 8: I'm Vivian Vander and you know I'm an actress. I've
- 1:26Speaker 8: been acting for a long time. I'm in a new
- 1:28Speaker 8: movie called Them's the Rainbows, Kid, and that's coming out
- 1:33Speaker 8: theaters to July twenty twenty three.
- 1:36Speaker 1: So that's why I'm so honored and so humbled to
- 1:39Speaker 1: be here.
- 1:39Speaker 7: The trailer is brilliant.
- 1:41Speaker 8: Oh, thank you so much, I had to get on
- 1:44Speaker 8: that cartwheel whole day long.
- 1:47Speaker 6: Yeah, I'll make you do that, won't they.
- 1:49Speaker 3: Hey, well, who's the name of the person. Who's the
- 1:51Speaker 3: name of the person doing the cartwheel that you were on?
- 1:54Speaker 6: Oh?
- 1:55Speaker 1: That was Selena Gomez and so I was Selena.
- 1:59Speaker 8: Yes, there's drapped me too, like one of those medieval
- 2:02Speaker 8: wheels where they have the guy on it.
- 2:04Speaker 1: And I was flipping around and around and around and
- 2:07Speaker 1: Selena was working.
- 2:08Speaker 3: That's awesome.
- 2:09Speaker 6: Wow, Yeah, that's great. That's great.
- 2:12Speaker 3: What's up, y'all. My name is Billy Bell. I am
- 2:16Speaker 3: in the new Underwater Siege. It's a sequel to an
- 2:22Speaker 3: eighties film called Underwater and I play uh well, no spoilers,
- 2:28Speaker 3: but the son of a character in that. And it's
- 2:29Speaker 3: just really awesome to be here with you guys. And
- 2:32Speaker 3: I look up to you Vivian so much.
- 2:34Speaker 1: Oh stop, no, I really have to say this.
- 2:36Speaker 3: My mom and I my mom and I used to
- 2:38Speaker 3: watch your show Being Fucked in the Country.
- 2:43Speaker 1: Stop it, stub it.
- 2:45Speaker 3: My mom and I used to watch your show.
- 2:47Speaker 6: I grew up.
- 2:47Speaker 7: Watching Being Fucked in the Country.
- 2:50Speaker 6: So what ahead I grew up I learned.
- 2:52Speaker 7: My ABC's from Being Fucked in the country.
- 2:55Speaker 8: Yeah, you know, and you know what, I yes, it
- 2:58Speaker 8: was fourteen seasons and I'm never get fucking sick of it. Yeah,
- 3:02Speaker 8: I never get fucking sick of hearing about it. And
- 3:05Speaker 8: so I really thank you. I thank you, I thank you.
- 3:06Speaker 8: I thank you from the bottom of my heart.
- 3:08Speaker 3: Really totally.
- 3:10Speaker 6: Hey, what's up. I'm a dex broken.
- 3:13Speaker 9: You know, I've been in this industry a long time,
- 3:15Speaker 9: so I kind of fell into it.
- 3:17Speaker 6: Uh yeah, I was.
- 3:20Speaker 9: I was just working in carpentry and they kind of
- 3:23Speaker 9: just threw me in a movie and bang, bang boom,
- 3:25Speaker 9: here I am. You know, but I got a new
- 3:27Speaker 9: movie coming out. It's part of the Marvel Universe. I
- 3:32Speaker 9: play four out of the five villains.
- 3:36Speaker 6: So yeah, I'm really pumped about that.
- 3:38Speaker 3: In one movie, you play four out of the fire.
- 3:41Speaker 6: Yeah. Yeah.
- 3:41Speaker 9: There's a lot of motion capture, a lot of body doubles,
- 3:44Speaker 9: a lot of fun.
- 3:45Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 3:45Speaker 6: It was great.
- 3:46Speaker 3: Yeah awesome.
- 3:47Speaker 8: Can I ask you, I'm not familiar with the Marvel
- 3:50Speaker 8: Cinematic universe. Are you playing the same person but multiple
- 3:56Speaker 8: times over?
- 3:56Speaker 9: Yeah? Yeah, I gotta be honest, I'm not familiar with
- 3:59Speaker 9: the Marvel universe. There, I just kind of show up,
- 4:01Speaker 9: but you know, I'm kind of excited. One of my
- 4:04Speaker 9: character's name.
- 4:06Speaker 6: Boopy, I think, is okay, that's one of them. Gotta
- 4:09Speaker 6: be boopy or something like that.
- 4:12Speaker 1: Boo boopy boos, gotta be bros.
- 4:14Speaker 6: I think I'm kind of confused.
- 4:16Speaker 9: But yeah, it's it's four different characters. They're completely different.
- 4:22Speaker 9: And then the fifth one is my friend Danny de Vito.
- 4:25Speaker 9: He's playing the fifth one.
- 4:27Speaker 6: Yeah, I love to.
- 4:31Speaker 8: Bro Danny rocks wildest Christmas parties, man kindness everything.
- 4:35Speaker 3: Oh yeah, not got invited to one of those. I'm Jewish,
- 4:38Speaker 3: so he hasn't invited me.
- 4:41Speaker 6: Question.
- 4:42Speaker 1: Only he takes those parties.
- 4:45Speaker 6: He doesn't want anybody else.
- 4:47Speaker 3: I don't think there's any malice in and I think it's.
- 4:49Speaker 6: No but he wants Christians.
- 4:53Speaker 7: Why would you celebrate it?
- 4:54Speaker 6: Yeah? Okay, you know, go ahead, Hello, cheerio.
- 4:57Speaker 4: I'm Basil Basil.
- 5:01Speaker 7: I'm Basil Basil, and I am so so happy to
- 5:06Speaker 7: be here with you all. I think I'm here celebrating
- 5:11Speaker 7: the movie. I did play multiple roles.
- 5:13Speaker 4: In the movie.
- 5:13Speaker 7: I'm most recently in it's the the biopic for the Wiggles.
- 5:19Speaker 6: Wow, they brought us.
- 5:21Speaker 7: In, Yes, And I played a couple of them. Yes,
- 5:24Speaker 7: it's me and Armie Hammer really yes, and we played
- 5:28Speaker 7: all of them.
- 5:29Speaker 3: I know, Army, Armies, Armies A good.
- 5:30Speaker 1: I love that God movie was rated R too.
- 5:33Speaker 4: I mean it's it's behind the scenes.
- 5:36Speaker 7: A lot of people didn't know they were all together
- 5:38Speaker 7: at some point, a lot of people didn't know.
- 5:41Speaker 4: Just the raunchy, raunchy, raunchy details.
- 5:44Speaker 6: Wow.
- 5:45Speaker 9: Yeah, So that's why, you know, I love that about cinema.
- 5:48Speaker 9: You know, it's like, when I got into it, it's
- 5:50Speaker 9: just great. You know, it just kind of like works
- 5:52Speaker 9: that way. You know that you can take such a
- 5:54Speaker 9: story that you think is you know, it's for kids,
- 5:57Speaker 9: but then you can realize that there's vulnerability and there's
- 6:00Speaker 9: humanity in every story.
- 6:01Speaker 7: And I love Do you guys remember the first story
- 6:05Speaker 7: you ever listened to or saw.
- 6:07Speaker 6: Yeah, that's a good question.
- 6:08Speaker 1: Oh gosh, it's gotta be good Night Moon.
- 6:13Speaker 8: Gotta be sitting in front of a fireplace while my
- 6:17Speaker 8: papa's raiding and singing good night Moon on the cello,
- 6:21Speaker 8: singing good night Bobby, Bobby, good night Moon, Bobby, Skeevie Dabo, good.
- 6:26Speaker 1: Night Moon, good night Moon. The moon's in the sky.
- 6:30Speaker 8: And the birds on the ground, and that's why we
- 6:32Speaker 8: are going to bed.
- 6:33Speaker 4: Did he make his own version?
- 6:35Speaker 6: Remember that?
- 6:36Speaker 1: I think that was in the book.
- 6:38Speaker 6: I don't know what else it would be.
- 6:40Speaker 3: Maybe it's a reprint, because you know, yeah, maybe.
- 6:44Speaker 1: I may be older than all of you, so maybe
- 6:46Speaker 1: it was an older version.
- 6:47Speaker 4: That can't be the original text.
- 6:49Speaker 7: It can't be, I think it.
- 6:50Speaker 8: I don't know what else it would be, but I'm
- 6:53Speaker 8: open to new opinions always.
- 6:55Speaker 3: My first story that I remember hearing, my dad was
- 6:57Speaker 3: a storyteller, and my dad used to tell me this
- 7:00Speaker 3: story about how he caught a rattlesnake with his hands
- 7:03Speaker 3: and he killed it just kind of fast. And he
- 7:07Speaker 3: used to tell me that all the time, kind of
- 7:09Speaker 3: bragging about it and talking about like all these things
- 7:12Speaker 3: about like you know, the kind of things.
- 7:13Speaker 6: I think.
- 7:14Speaker 3: I think he was trying to tell me, like that's
- 7:15Speaker 3: who he wanted me to be.
- 7:17Speaker 1: He wanted you to kill something fast.
- 7:19Speaker 3: He wanted me to be tough, like he raised me
- 7:20Speaker 3: to be a tough like my dad. We called him
- 7:22Speaker 3: the sergeant, Like I didn't call him daddy, I called
- 7:23Speaker 3: him the sergeant. That's kind of where I was raised
- 7:25Speaker 3: and That's who I was.
- 7:28Speaker 6: Was he a military guy?
- 7:29Speaker 3: No, he was not.
- 7:30Speaker 6: That's because I was going to say my dad was
- 7:32Speaker 6: in the military.
- 7:33Speaker 3: Oh he was. Did he make you call him the sergeant?
- 7:35Speaker 8: Yeah?
- 7:35Speaker 9: No, Yeah he was corporal. So yeah, but yeah, it
- 7:38Speaker 9: reminds me a very similar story. I remember the first
- 7:41Speaker 9: time my dad was you know, he fought in Korea.
- 7:43Speaker 6: He was he was a drunk, he was an alcoholic.
- 7:45Speaker 3: True.
- 7:46Speaker 9: First story I heard was about him, you know, strangling
- 7:51Speaker 9: some man somewhere.
- 7:52Speaker 6: It was situation like that, you know, the life out.
- 7:56Speaker 7: Of somebody that you boys didn't have a daddy, you know, Well, well.
- 8:01Speaker 3: What about you, Basil? I mean, you're a boy. Did
- 8:04Speaker 3: you have a daddy?
- 8:05Speaker 6: Oh?
- 8:06Speaker 1: I had a daddy.
- 8:06Speaker 4: Of course I had a daddy.
- 8:08Speaker 7: I just it breaks my heart that you had to
- 8:10Speaker 7: call him the sergeant.
- 8:15Speaker 3: I do want to say this to Basil, and I
- 8:17Speaker 3: don't want to be offensive. Here am I sensing an accent?
- 8:21Speaker 4: I'm from London Town?
- 8:24Speaker 7: What I mean?
- 8:25Speaker 3: I just I just feel like I heard one and
- 8:26Speaker 3: I wanted to make sure I was I was catching
- 8:29Speaker 3: up in an accent. You've never played a British person
- 8:31Speaker 3: in a movie. I didn't know I didn't know until
- 8:34Speaker 3: we met today that you are actually.
- 8:35Speaker 6: Indeed, my reps won't.
- 8:37Speaker 4: Let me, really, they will not let me play British.
- 8:42Speaker 6: That's so great.
- 8:43Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 8:45Speaker 1: So what a waste of that gorgeous voice you have.
- 8:48Speaker 1: I wish I was your agent.
- 8:50Speaker 4: Oh, thank you, Dole. You'd be such a good agent.
- 8:56Speaker 7: Anyway.
- 8:56Speaker 4: The first story I ever heard was my mother.
- 9:00Speaker 7: I said, don't crack that egg because that egg will
- 9:04Speaker 7: become a chicken, and get it to her language.
- 9:09Speaker 1: Was her her thoughts wrong?
- 9:11Speaker 6: Right?
- 9:12Speaker 4: It was? My mother was also a drunk.
- 9:13Speaker 7: But I'll say the idea of something becoming something else boom,
- 9:20Speaker 7: three act structure.
- 9:22Speaker 3: Wow, So you saw a story in that sentence.
- 9:24Speaker 4: I saw it and I went, oh my god, I want.
- 9:28Speaker 6: To do this.
- 9:31Speaker 9: You saw the three act structure of the hand, or
- 9:34Speaker 9: the egg becoming cracking open and becoming a hair.
- 9:37Speaker 7: Or the chicken becoming the egg, or just become I mean,
- 9:41Speaker 7: what's the third act of his dad strangling a rattlesnake.
- 9:44Speaker 3: Well, he got bit by a rattlesnake on my fifteenth birthday.
- 9:47Speaker 9: Okay, that's a really strong third acts, strong third hact.
- 9:50Speaker 3: It was ironic, it was it was crazy, And I
- 9:53Speaker 3: think the craziest thing about it was that that the
- 9:56Speaker 3: rattlesnake was given to me as a gift by my mother.
- 10:01Speaker 3: Ever since then, I was like, I think I should
- 10:03Speaker 3: be in movies. I feel like my life is a movie.
- 10:04Speaker 3: Like that's kind of how it felt.
- 10:05Speaker 6: Oh yeah, I do feel like that's crazy.
- 10:08Speaker 9: You have any familiar problems with parents or something like that?
- 10:11Speaker 6: Seems no.
- 10:12Speaker 8: I had a wonderful time. I was raised by three
- 10:16Speaker 8: wonderful women. Everybody was an aunt to me, and I
- 10:22Speaker 8: did have a mother and a father, but they were
- 10:24Speaker 8: off dancing in Bolivia, and so for during the winter
- 10:29Speaker 8: through autumn months, I was with my three aunts, Debbie,
- 10:34Speaker 8: DeNora and Donna, and Dee and Donna. Debbie, Donora and Donna.
- 10:39Speaker 8: They were fantastic women, each of them a farmer, but
- 10:42Speaker 8: the kind of kind of farmer farmer of stories. Really,
- 10:47Speaker 8: because they would they would invent these wonderful tales for me.
- 10:52Speaker 8: They really fostered all the creativity I could possibly have.
- 10:56Speaker 8: They let me do the saxophone, they let me do pottery,
- 11:00Speaker 8: they let me do graphic tea printing, and I have
- 11:03Speaker 8: some hilarious graphic teas.
- 11:04Speaker 1: If anyone would like you made as a child. Well,
- 11:07Speaker 1: I made as a child.
- 11:08Speaker 8: But I think they I think they stand the test
- 11:10Speaker 8: of time.
- 11:11Speaker 9: So I guess what I'm hearing is your parents left
- 11:14Speaker 9: you to be with your three aunts to do manual labor.
- 11:16Speaker 8: Oh, they would come back during the summer months when
- 11:20Speaker 8: dancing season was over at Bolivia.
- 11:22Speaker 1: And then they return.
- 11:23Speaker 8: They'd say hello, and we'd we I'd say hello, mother,
- 11:27Speaker 8: Hello father?
- 11:27Speaker 3: How are you so interesting? They don't dance in the
- 11:30Speaker 3: summer in Bolivia. I feel like that'd be the first
- 11:31Speaker 3: time that I would starting. You know.
- 11:33Speaker 8: You think that so it's the wind, Think that it's
- 11:36Speaker 8: the winter, because that's you know, summer is a beautiful season.
- 11:40Speaker 8: Winter is when you need dancing the most carefully. So
- 11:45Speaker 8: they dance to keep warm, yes, because it's freezing some
- 11:49Speaker 8: below temperatures in Bolivia. Not a lot of people know this,
- 11:53Speaker 8: but they're actually dancing out of necessity. Really, my parents
- 11:57Speaker 8: were going there as a as a sort of to
- 12:00Speaker 8: be a blanket to others.
- 12:02Speaker 6: Wow, that's lovely, that's great.
- 12:05Speaker 9: You know. So I got a question for you guys,
- 12:07Speaker 9: If you guys don't mind, could I jump in and
- 12:09Speaker 9: ask a question?
- 12:11Speaker 6: Uh, you know, one of you guys approach a scene.
- 12:14Speaker 9: You know we're about to shoot, you know, lights, camera action,
- 12:17Speaker 9: You've got that kind of stuff. Where are you guys going?
- 12:21Speaker 9: You know, I'm always interesting where you guys heads are at.
- 12:24Speaker 9: What are you guys thinking about all that stuff?
- 12:26Speaker 3: I can't wait to hear you guys tell this because
- 12:28Speaker 3: I seriously, you guys are some of my biggest role
- 12:31Speaker 3: models here. I really want to learn about these processes.
- 12:33Speaker 3: I mean, dasl to be honest, we do go out
- 12:35Speaker 3: for a lot of rolls together. We go see you
- 12:38Speaker 3: in the audition room American.
- 12:40Speaker 4: Accent, Yes, because my dad reps.
- 12:44Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 12:44Speaker 3: I feel like I feel like we're always going at
- 12:46Speaker 3: each other.
- 12:47Speaker 4: We are.
- 12:47Speaker 7: I'm so glad you said that, because I don't think
- 12:49Speaker 7: I've ever been able to just look at you in
- 12:51Speaker 7: the eye.
- 12:52Speaker 3: And what's funny, when I walked in, I thought, uh, oh,
- 12:55Speaker 3: are they going to pick one of us to do this?
- 12:56Speaker 3: And then and then they didn't, and we're both getting
- 12:59Speaker 3: to be here, which I feel like is actually a
- 13:01Speaker 3: revolutionary in a way because I feel like we're always
- 13:03Speaker 3: this one or the other.
- 13:04Speaker 4: With us, Yes, and our careers couldn't be more different.
- 13:07Speaker 3: They couldn't.
- 13:09Speaker 7: So I don't know.
- 13:10Speaker 4: Look at my body of work and your body is compared.
- 13:14Speaker 3: I mean, I mean, I'm in underwater siege.
- 13:17Speaker 7: I'm in the Wiggles untold story.
- 13:20Speaker 3: I'm in the true story of the Coca Cola Bear.
- 13:25Speaker 7: I'm in the story of Betty Who.
- 13:29Speaker 6: Okay, but a lot of biopics.
- 13:32Speaker 3: I'm in Wilderness Child.
- 13:35Speaker 9: I love that movie. You're a great child. Thanks man,
- 13:38Speaker 9: You're a great child.
- 13:39Speaker 7: All to say, I'm so thankful we get to share
- 13:42Speaker 7: stage together.
- 13:45Speaker 3: Totally me too. Yes, And I don't feel anything but
- 13:47Speaker 3: love for you, my brother.
- 13:48Speaker 7: I don't feel anything but love. If anything, I don't
- 13:50Speaker 7: feel it's funny to be in the same space. It's
- 13:53Speaker 7: like I'm used to sharing the same text with you,
- 13:55Speaker 7: which you and I don't have to compete at all.
- 13:58Speaker 3: Not at all, No, not at all. I mean it's
- 14:00Speaker 3: really nice. So we can just be together like hanging,
- 14:02Speaker 3: which is awesome. Cheers, cheers.
- 14:06Speaker 6: Answer my question.
- 14:08Speaker 3: Process. Sorry, I think you brought that up. I'm sorry.
- 14:12Speaker 3: I'm sorry that you derail this. Let's hear about process.
- 14:16Speaker 1: Didn't Well, I can tell you my process is very simple.
- 14:20Speaker 1: I'll be honest.
- 14:21Speaker 8: I don't have a damn thought in my brain when
- 14:23Speaker 8: I step on set. It's fabulous. More actors have to
- 14:27Speaker 8: be this way. I step on stage, I'm getting set.
- 14:32Speaker 8: Do you know, I'm I'm in my I'm I'm I'm
- 14:35Speaker 8: getting ready.
- 14:36Speaker 1: I'm getting ready.
- 14:38Speaker 8: And then in my head I go zoo by zoobie zoo,
- 14:41Speaker 8: and then before you know it, they call action and
- 14:46Speaker 8: then a minute. It's all about emptying your brain.
- 14:49Speaker 7: How do you memorize lines?
- 14:52Speaker 1: Oh, well, I look at.
- 14:52Speaker 8: The page, I flip it open, page one, and then
- 14:56Speaker 8: I repeat the line back to myself. So, for example, Jennifer,
- 15:00Speaker 8: you can't be taking that into the country to fuck it.
- 15:04Speaker 8: That's from of course, Yes, my show getting fucked in
- 15:07Speaker 8: the country and.
- 15:08Speaker 7: Fuck in the country.
- 15:09Speaker 1: Yes, that's just one of my classes.
- 15:10Speaker 6: That's what I love that episode.
- 15:12Speaker 9: She tries to take that boy into the country to
- 15:16Speaker 9: fuck them out of the country.
- 15:18Speaker 3: You say that line here, My mom has a pillow
- 15:20Speaker 3: with that line on it.
- 15:21Speaker 7: Yes, my mom has the same.
- 15:24Speaker 3: No, she does it, she does. That's crazy we're doing.
- 15:29Speaker 1: They both can have it.
- 15:30Speaker 6: Of course, many moms can do whatever they want.
- 15:33Speaker 1: Well, I'll see the line.
- 15:34Speaker 8: I'll say, Jennifer, you can't take that thing into the
- 15:36Speaker 8: country to fuck it.
- 15:38Speaker 1: Whatever it was, I think it was that, And.
- 15:41Speaker 8: Then I say three times, Jennifer, you can't take that
- 15:43Speaker 8: thing into the country and fuck it, Jennifer. You can't
- 15:45Speaker 8: take a thing in the country and it Jennifer, you
- 15:47Speaker 8: can't take a thing in the country. And as soon
- 15:51Speaker 8: as it becomes a song, that's when I can forget it.
- 15:54Speaker 8: That's when it's in my body, it's in my bones,
- 15:56Speaker 8: and then you just let the dancing do the work.
- 15:59Speaker 9: I love that, you know what I love about that.
- 16:01Speaker 9: There's no surprises, there's not a trick to it at all.
- 16:03Speaker 9: That seems like a very standard way of memorizing.
- 16:06Speaker 1: No, it's really like math. I'm more of a mathematician
- 16:09Speaker 1: than anything else.
- 16:09Speaker 3: That's awesome.
- 16:10Speaker 6: Yeah, that's great.
- 16:11Speaker 3: Sick.
- 16:12Speaker 9: You know what before I I you know, I find
- 16:15Speaker 9: myself fuck, you know, just you know, just lost in
- 16:18Speaker 9: it a little bit, you know, and I get angry,
- 16:21Speaker 9: you know a lot, depending on the scene, you know,
- 16:23Speaker 9: I'm just kind of like, oh god, fuck, why are
- 16:27Speaker 9: we here? What's going on? How did I get here?
- 16:29Speaker 9: You know, what the fuck is this? You know, why why?
- 16:33Speaker 6: Why? Why? Why? Why?
- 16:36Speaker 9: But that's all in my head. They start rolling. I'm
- 16:39Speaker 9: covered in blue dots, just going for it. You know,
- 16:44Speaker 9: I gotta rip somebody's head off or say some sort
- 16:47Speaker 9: of big line at my brother, and you know it's
- 16:51Speaker 9: just gone.
- 16:52Speaker 6: You know you're there.
- 16:53Speaker 9: You know.
- 16:53Speaker 1: May I offer you some unsolicited advice?
- 16:56Speaker 6: I love advice?
- 16:56Speaker 1: Yeah, you turn that why into a why not?
- 17:00Speaker 6: Okay, let me try it? Fuck? Why not? Are we here?
- 17:03Speaker 6: It just is not working? Why almost? Though?
- 17:07Speaker 3: What's your process for differentiating between the five brothers you're playing.
- 17:11Speaker 3: I mean, I'm really curious because I've never had to
- 17:15Speaker 3: play multiple people.
- 17:16Speaker 9: Oh, it's fantastic. It's actually very interesting. I kind of
- 17:19Speaker 9: took like a different version of anger for each of them.
- 17:21Speaker 9: So you know, like anger is just yeah, fuck, you know,
- 17:24Speaker 9: it's like a broad thing that we kind of all feel,
- 17:26Speaker 9: but we feel two different things. We feel different kinds
- 17:29Speaker 9: of anger. So in my head, uh, brother one is
- 17:33Speaker 9: red anger, Brother two is blue anger, Brother three is
- 17:37Speaker 9: yellow anger, kind of piss anger. You know, Brother four
- 17:41Speaker 9: is a green anger, and then brother five is Danny DeVito,
- 17:45Speaker 9: so that I don't have to be angry for him.
- 17:47Speaker 6: I will be, though, But yeah.
- 17:49Speaker 8: So are they clones? I'm still a little fuzzy on
- 17:52Speaker 8: why four of you?
- 17:54Speaker 9: I've been trying to get a straight answer for weeks.
- 17:58Speaker 9: I've been trying to get a straight answer. No, nobody
- 18:00Speaker 9: will tell me. I cannot figure out that. It's it's
- 18:03Speaker 9: a mess.
- 18:04Speaker 6: You know. You go in there, it's just blue everywhere.
- 18:07Speaker 9: You're in a morph suit, you got dots everywhere, and
- 18:09Speaker 9: they say, go say this line, and I'm like.
- 18:12Speaker 6: Where am I? Where the fuck am I in the world?
- 18:15Speaker 9: And they'll say space, big big explosion behind you, and
- 18:19Speaker 9: then boom, it's gonna become a forest.
- 18:21Speaker 6: Right when you say that's not all?
- 18:23Speaker 9: So then I'm like, oh, fuck, okay, I didn't prepare
- 18:26Speaker 9: for this at all, and I have to start doing
- 18:27Speaker 9: the work. And then I'm just like, why the fuck
- 18:30Speaker 9: are we here? You know what's going on? So but
- 18:33Speaker 9: you know, it's good.
- 18:33Speaker 6: It's good. It's really great. I love the guys over
- 18:35Speaker 6: there at the Marvel Universe. They're great.
- 18:38Speaker 4: It's hard to track you when you're talking.
- 18:41Speaker 3: Yeah, I got maybe I kind of blacked out after piss.
- 18:45Speaker 4: It's staying to beat blue blue, blue, blue blue.
- 18:48Speaker 3: Yeah, it's just you know, you're doing.
- 18:50Speaker 8: To say something that caught my attention, though, Marvel Universe.
- 18:54Speaker 1: What's in that?
- 18:57Speaker 6: Okay, so the Marvel Universe. O god, what's that?
- 19:00Speaker 8: Sounds like a fascinating place, I guess Yeah.
- 19:03Speaker 6: For me, I don't really get it.
- 19:05Speaker 9: I got a call from my agent, Debbie, and she said, oh,
- 19:08Speaker 9: we got this project and it's really cool. You know,
- 19:10Speaker 9: you're gonna be playing four brothers and Danny, your friend,
- 19:13Speaker 9: is gonna be the fifth and you know, like basically
- 19:16Speaker 9: what it is.
- 19:17Speaker 6: And I didn't get it, and I still don't get it.
- 19:19Speaker 9: But it's a series of movies where they do is
- 19:22Speaker 9: something in the universe, and what happens is I play
- 19:26Speaker 9: the brothers and basically they all tie together in some way.
- 19:30Speaker 6: Is that add up for you guys? Does that make
- 19:32Speaker 6: sense totally?
- 19:33Speaker 9: Oh?
- 19:34Speaker 1: I just remembered it's where Spider Man lives.
- 19:37Speaker 3: Yes, yeah, Spider Man intent I love acting. Yea.
- 19:41Speaker 6: So I didn't lose you guys there.
- 19:43Speaker 3: No, I knew all that, Okay, yeah, explain that.
- 19:47Speaker 1: I know they clearly knew. I'm forgive me. I'm an
- 19:50Speaker 1: old far sexy fart at that, but I'm an.
- 19:53Speaker 6: Old far yeah, definitely definitely sexy fart. Yeah.
- 19:57Speaker 3: My process is I like to say where I like
- 19:59Speaker 3: to go Billy's Place, which is my place in my
- 20:02Speaker 3: brain that.
- 20:03Speaker 1: I've built for gorgeous.
- 20:05Speaker 3: When I go to Billy's Place, it's the perfect place,
- 20:08Speaker 3: and it is a place where.
- 20:10Speaker 7: Tell me more about Billy's Place is a perfect place.
- 20:16Speaker 3: Billy's Place is a perfect place.
- 20:18Speaker 1: Billy's Place, Billy's Place is a bountiful place.
- 20:23Speaker 3: Billy's Place is a beautiful place. I like to go there,
- 20:26Speaker 3: and it has all my favorite foods and snacks. And
- 20:29Speaker 3: mind you, it's in my head, in your imagination, back
- 20:32Speaker 3: my imagination. Because when I'm there, and when I'm in
- 20:35Speaker 3: Billy's Place, no one can bother me. And I get
- 20:38Speaker 3: to take my time and I can be there. I
- 20:40Speaker 3: can spend a second there in your world, but in
- 20:44Speaker 3: Billy's Place world, that's that can feel like a million years.
- 20:48Speaker 3: And I like to just settle and I like to
- 20:50Speaker 3: center myself and I like to see who I am.
- 20:52Speaker 3: The only thing about Billy's Place something a little interesting.
- 20:55Speaker 3: Every single surface made of mirrors because I'm looking at myself.
- 20:58Speaker 6: Sure you can visualize all this, That's amazing.
- 21:01Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean to me, I could. I could describe
- 21:04Speaker 3: to you Billy's Place better than I could probably describe
- 21:06Speaker 3: my own apartment in downtown LA, in the arts district,
- 21:10Speaker 3: in a toy factory.
- 21:12Speaker 8: Yeah, so seeing yourself reflected in an infinity of mirrors,
- 21:15Speaker 8: that's relaxing.
- 21:16Speaker 3: It is just because it's like, well, look, buddy, cameras
- 21:19Speaker 3: are actually I don't know if you guys have looked
- 21:21Speaker 3: into this, cameras are different ways to use mirrors, right,
- 21:25Speaker 3: So these cameras right now, there's mirrors involved in these.
- 21:28Speaker 3: Like and I'm not a scientist, but this is the
- 21:30Speaker 3: kind of stuff.
- 21:30Speaker 6: I know.
- 21:30Speaker 3: There's mirrors in the cameras and that's kind of what
- 21:33Speaker 3: this is. So yeah, so that's part of it, mirrors
- 21:36Speaker 3: and so yeah, I don't want to get into it,
- 21:38Speaker 3: but mirrors are not Please get into it.
- 21:41Speaker 6: What the fuck are you talking about?
- 21:43Speaker 3: So there's mirrors that are kind of shoot the images
- 21:45Speaker 3: around and then they put them onto you know, either
- 21:48Speaker 3: a memory card or some sort of film.
- 21:50Speaker 8: God, it's beautiful because the scientists who created these cameras
- 21:54Speaker 8: are telling their own story in a way.
- 21:56Speaker 7: And meanwhile, you're telling your own. Yeah, rewriting things sounds a.
- 22:01Speaker 3: Little bit, yes, I mean not in such a critical
- 22:03Speaker 3: way as you kind of.
- 22:04Speaker 7: It's just funny how borderline psychotic it sounds. To have
- 22:09Speaker 7: your own place.
- 22:10Speaker 3: That you go to. That's interesting. I guess it's my
- 22:12Speaker 3: safe space because there's people that are trying to tear
- 22:14Speaker 3: it down. There's people outside, like in audition rooms, agents,
- 22:18Speaker 3: I would say, other people going off roles and stuff
- 22:20Speaker 3: like FBI know.
- 22:22Speaker 4: So, how did that help you with your role?
- 22:25Speaker 3: It just allows me. It allows me.
- 22:28Speaker 7: Can I finish?
- 22:30Speaker 3: Yes? It allows me to kind of It allows me
- 22:33Speaker 3: to kind of see myself and allows me to say, Okay,
- 22:35Speaker 3: this is what I've got, this is here I am,
- 22:37Speaker 3: and I'm going to open the door, and here I am.
- 22:40Speaker 3: I left Billy's place and I'm in the real world
- 22:42Speaker 3: and I have everything from Billy's place. I had a
- 22:44Speaker 3: nice snack, I had some tea, I watched my favorite show,
- 22:47Speaker 3: and I have emerged and ready to perform.
- 22:50Speaker 1: Oh you got a TV in the hall of mirrors.
- 22:52Speaker 3: Absolutely, that must be terrified. It's made of mirrors too, Billy.
- 22:57Speaker 3: I'm Billy Basil. I would love to hear your process.
- 23:01Speaker 7: Well, the Brits do it differently. I start with the
- 23:06Speaker 7: text and I lather myself in the text. Sometimes I
- 23:11Speaker 7: take the first word of every line and the last
- 23:13Speaker 7: word of every line, and I put it on my
- 23:16Speaker 7: wall in my dining room, and then I'll turn all
- 23:19Speaker 7: the lights off, leave a candlelight on, and I'll read
- 23:21Speaker 7: what those words together are telling me. What is the
- 23:25Speaker 7: text telling you under it? Right?
- 23:29Speaker 4: What is the playwright or screenwriter telling me without telling me?
- 23:35Speaker 7: Does he even know what these characters are screaming about?
- 23:39Speaker 1: Yeah, that's brilliant.
- 23:41Speaker 8: I never really thought about how acting is reading a
- 23:45Speaker 8: lot of the time.
- 23:46Speaker 7: Yes, one can sing it like you love to sing,
- 23:49Speaker 7: or one can feel it. But I read it and
- 23:53Speaker 7: we find what the letters are giving us, what the syllables,
- 23:57Speaker 7: the way the body works with the words.
- 24:01Speaker 3: Oh, the syllables. Because you're spending so much time on
- 24:04Speaker 3: your accent because you can't play your native character.
- 24:07Speaker 6: Oh yeah, huh?
- 24:08Speaker 3: Is that probably what it is.
- 24:11Speaker 7: I I fear that an article that went semi viral
- 24:17Speaker 7: is coming up to the surface.
- 24:18Speaker 6: Right now that I need to address.
- 24:20Speaker 7: Sure from London. Okay, the woman at KFC who heard
- 24:26Speaker 7: me speak in an American accent simply saw the wrong person.
- 24:31Speaker 3: Okay, that was not me. That woman she.
- 24:34Speaker 4: Got paid so much money for that article.
- 24:37Speaker 6: Yeah, that was a crazy article.
- 24:39Speaker 9: KFC worker sees actors speaking American. I can't, I honestly
- 24:45Speaker 9: care believe it. I thought that was so bad.
- 24:47Speaker 7: Well, because there's a Reddit petition that I'm not really
- 24:50Speaker 7: British and all this stuff, and this woman found that.
- 24:54Speaker 8: Signing some sort of petition to acknowledge the fact that
- 24:58Speaker 8: you're not British.
- 25:01Speaker 1: A crazy gold Yeah.
- 25:02Speaker 6: Can I say this feels like an agent made this up.
- 25:05Speaker 3: And I would also say that you're kind of diminishing Tracy.
- 25:07Speaker 3: That KFC woman. She is one of the top gossip
- 25:09Speaker 3: columnists on Instagram.
- 25:11Speaker 7: Oh so you know her?
- 25:12Speaker 3: I do know her, Okay, KFC. She she's the king
- 25:17Speaker 3: of freaking Cheesemay. Okay, yeah, that's what she is on Instagram. Okay,
- 25:21Speaker 3: she has all the gossip and she's number She's the
- 25:23Speaker 3: number one gossip in LA.
- 25:24Speaker 7: Sure, gossip is gossip, it's lies.
- 25:26Speaker 3: Sure, but but a lot of the stuff I would
- 25:29Speaker 3: say sixty to seventy percent of the stuff she posts
- 25:31Speaker 3: on her Instagram.
- 25:32Speaker 6: Yeah, she ripped me apart.
- 25:34Speaker 3: She did well. She she she caught you stealing from
- 25:37Speaker 3: a goodwill.
- 25:37Speaker 6: I just wanted it.
- 25:39Speaker 9: It looks so good and I didn't know you had
- 25:40Speaker 9: to pay in those places.
- 25:42Speaker 1: I'll tell you, she.
- 25:42Speaker 7: Goes to places that you don't think celebrities will be
- 25:46Speaker 7: and she finds us. But I wasn't there. I wasn't
- 25:49Speaker 7: at KFC. That wasn't me. Simply, it was a mistake.
- 25:51Speaker 7: It was a comedy of errors by the bard.
- 25:55Speaker 3: Oh yeah, is that another British person?
- 25:56Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 25:57Speaker 3: I know he is.
- 25:58Speaker 4: All right, anyway, what's your process?
- 26:01Speaker 6: We all went through it.
- 26:03Speaker 1: I think we did it.
- 26:04Speaker 6: You know.
- 26:05Speaker 8: I'd love to regurgitate a sort of question that I
- 26:09Speaker 8: get asked a lot for some reason, which is, what
- 26:12Speaker 8: do you.
- 26:13Speaker 1: Think is the state of the industry today?
- 26:16Speaker 6: Oh? Yeah?
- 26:17Speaker 1: Is it different than before?
- 26:19Speaker 3: A great question?
- 26:20Speaker 1: Or is it different than what it will be? I
- 26:22Speaker 1: think what's happening?
- 26:23Speaker 9: Well, yeah, I'll definitely say it's you know, it's definitely
- 26:26Speaker 9: changed for me. You know, like when I got into this,
- 26:29Speaker 9: I was, you know, young buck and I was just
- 26:31Speaker 9: working in carpentry, and then you know, a director comes
- 26:34Speaker 9: by and sees me and says, hey, why don't you
- 26:36Speaker 9: try to say this line turns into a.
- 26:39Speaker 6: Gig, turns into another gig.
- 26:40Speaker 9: All of a sudden, I'm in the Darling movie of
- 26:42Speaker 9: the Summer, And then all of a sudden, I'm a
- 26:44Speaker 9: movie star, so yeah, you know, everything's amazing, and I
- 26:48Speaker 9: just don't know if the industry can do that now.
- 26:50Speaker 8: It's true, you know, I don't hear of people getting
- 26:53Speaker 8: scouted in real life like I was scouted.
- 26:55Speaker 1: When I was at a dive bar with my four aunts.
- 26:58Speaker 1: There was a fourth that night. I was the fifth woman.
- 27:01Speaker 8: We were all sipping red wine. We all look about
- 27:04Speaker 8: the same age, even though I was thirteen at the moment,
- 27:06Speaker 8: they were all forty seven. And a director walks up
- 27:10Speaker 8: and says, you are going to play someone who gets
- 27:15Speaker 8: fucked a lot.
- 27:16Speaker 6: You're you're thirteen, You're thirteen. That guy was not a
- 27:21Speaker 6: good director, I'll tell you that much.
- 27:23Speaker 3: My goodness.
- 27:24Speaker 1: But later they said you he.
- 27:26Speaker 9: Said later, later, you're gonna you look like somebody who's
- 27:30Speaker 9: gonna get fucked.
- 27:31Speaker 6: Is basically what you're saying in a city.
- 27:33Speaker 1: Was he shouting in the country, what did your four
- 27:36Speaker 1: ants do?
- 27:38Speaker 8: They said, Oh, well, okay, that's.
- 27:41Speaker 3: The wrong way to react. That's the wrong way to react.
- 27:44Speaker 8: I'm looking back, and I am understanding some of the concerns.
- 27:48Speaker 8: I am understanding some of the concerns, But things were
- 27:50Speaker 8: different than people were more honest.
- 27:53Speaker 1: You know, he was he wasn't. He wasn't. He wasn't.
- 27:56Speaker 1: Who isn't a creep?
- 28:01Speaker 6: No, that's what they say.
- 28:03Speaker 1: Waited to put me in that show until I was thirty.
- 28:05Speaker 3: He was him, He was the one who cast you get.
- 28:11Speaker 1: He waited, And that's what I'm saying, he waited until later.
- 28:15Speaker 9: Yeah, that's what I will say. You know, the industry
- 28:17Speaker 9: has done. It changed a lot because we you know,
- 28:21Speaker 9: we used to have a lot more creeps than now.
- 28:23Speaker 9: They're kind of being called out and canceled and all
- 28:26Speaker 9: that hub of you know, and it's just crazy.
- 28:28Speaker 6: It changes the atmosphere of a set for sure.
- 28:31Speaker 3: Yeah. You know, it's so funny. I keep seeing articles
- 28:34Speaker 3: about you coming out and they keep saying still not canceled. Yeah.
- 28:38Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 28:39Speaker 3: Do you feel like people are trying to trying to
- 28:41Speaker 3: find something?
- 28:42Speaker 9: Oh, they're going for me. I caught a little kid
- 28:46Speaker 9: in my trash the other day. I said, hey, scram
- 28:48Speaker 9: He said, I'm trying to get you.
- 28:49Speaker 6: When you say I'm.
- 28:51Speaker 9: Clean, baby, I'm clean, you won't find a fucking thing.
- 28:54Speaker 6: I buried it.
- 28:55Speaker 7: That's so funny.
- 28:56Speaker 1: Not on social media, are we?
- 28:58Speaker 4: Maybe?
- 28:59Speaker 1: Maybe I think that's why you're saying.
- 29:02Speaker 3: I am. I'm on social media? Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 29:05Speaker 3: I just mostly do lip syncs. But it's yeah, it's
- 29:08Speaker 3: just for my My team really wants me to do
- 29:10Speaker 3: social media. It's a really good way to engage with people,
- 29:12Speaker 3: our age, you know. It's a really good way to
- 29:14Speaker 3: connect to our My.
- 29:15Speaker 9: Niece puts me on her live every once in a while,
- 29:18Speaker 9: which is fun and interesting. You know.
- 29:20Speaker 6: I don't really know what's going on, but I love it.
- 29:23Speaker 6: I freaking love it.
- 29:24Speaker 7: I think I figured it out. I think it's because
- 29:26Speaker 7: when you're talking, someone's brain just doesn't know where to
- 29:29Speaker 7: go because they can't really track your thoughts. And I'm
- 29:32Speaker 7: the way I'm waiting for you to say something bad,
- 29:37Speaker 7: because it always looks like you're walking the line, but
- 29:40Speaker 7: you aren't. You're such a charge.
- 29:42Speaker 6: You want me to say something bad.
- 29:45Speaker 3: I won't.
- 29:45Speaker 6: No, I'm not saying that.
- 29:47Speaker 7: I'm just saying the way your eyes look. It looks
- 29:49Speaker 7: like you're getting there.
- 29:50Speaker 1: It looks like you're not dancing.
- 29:53Speaker 8: It looks like you're not dancing with the devil, but
- 29:56Speaker 8: you are staring at him from across the room, just
- 29:58Speaker 8: waiting for him to come to you.
- 30:00Speaker 7: Looking at him, and you're saying, I used to fuck you,
- 30:05Speaker 7: that's it.
- 30:07Speaker 6: Yeah, well, you know I think I remember a.
- 30:10Speaker 1: Little while ago.
- 30:12Speaker 9: Yeah, yeah, you know, well I feel like, oh god,
- 30:15Speaker 9: you know, it's just this thing. You know. I feel
- 30:17Speaker 9: like I'm very close with the devil because we've shared
- 30:19Speaker 9: a lot of you know, trauma and pain, and I
- 30:21Speaker 9: understand them, you know, and I'm just trying to understand the.
- 30:23Speaker 6: Other side a little bit.
- 30:25Speaker 9: So yeah, that's a kind of uh where I come
- 30:28Speaker 9: from a little bit. You know.
- 30:30Speaker 7: Our industry is just changing every day. I can't keep
- 30:34Speaker 7: my my fingers on the ferris wheel, like we say
- 30:38Speaker 7: in London.
- 30:39Speaker 4: The cartwheel or the card wheel.
- 30:41Speaker 8: And let me tell you, I could not keep my
- 30:43Speaker 8: fingers on. They had to strap me in like a
- 30:46Speaker 8: straight jacket. Poor Selena.
- 30:49Speaker 1: We're so out of breath.
- 30:50Speaker 3: I will say most of my offers for legitimate films
- 30:55Speaker 3: come from d ms and come from electronic messaging.
- 31:00Speaker 6: You know.
- 31:01Speaker 3: I get a lot of stuff online on my TikTok,
- 31:04Speaker 3: on my Instagram, on my Twitter, people asking me to
- 31:07Speaker 3: do stuff, People ask me to send in tapes.
- 31:09Speaker 6: You know.
- 31:10Speaker 3: That's that's where our industry is headed. It's just all
- 31:13Speaker 3: going to be digital. It's all going to be social media.
- 31:15Speaker 1: So that's fascinating. So all of that is on your phone.
- 31:18Speaker 3: Yeah, it's on my phone. It's on my computer, and
- 31:20Speaker 3: it's on an iPad, which is kind of the middle
- 31:23Speaker 3: distance between a phone and the computer.
- 31:25Speaker 7: Monsey contacting me about the Wiggles project through Venmo.
- 31:29Speaker 3: That was crazy that he was gonna get.
- 31:34Speaker 1: Accident.
- 31:35Speaker 6: That sounds like I know, that sounds like an accident.
- 31:38Speaker 7: No, no, I mean I'm in the film. It's the film.
- 31:41Speaker 3: I mean.
- 31:41Speaker 7: He reached out and it was fifty thousand, and it says,
- 31:43Speaker 7: is this you meet me at Earth Cafe Studio City tomorrow.
- 31:48Speaker 3: Did you have to send the fifty thousand back?
- 31:50Speaker 4: So I brought it to my reps and I said,
- 31:51Speaker 4: what the hell do I do with this? Is this
- 31:53Speaker 4: man drunk?
- 31:55Speaker 7: And they said go to Earth and I went and,
- 31:58Speaker 7: by god damn it, that was my fifty thousand dollars.
- 32:02Speaker 1: I've got that text before go to Earth.
- 32:05Speaker 3: That's actually my my my exit line to leave Billy's place.
- 32:09Speaker 6: Well, yeah, they.
- 32:11Speaker 4: God damn it, you're messed up.
- 32:14Speaker 3: Tell me that.
- 32:15Speaker 6: Okay, I think we need to have an act off.
- 32:17Speaker 9: We got to settle this. Once used to do this
- 32:22Speaker 9: on set. This is the thing that's changed. They don't
- 32:24Speaker 9: do act offs anymore. We give you sides, you both
- 32:26Speaker 9: deliver them. We decide who gets.
- 32:28Speaker 3: To a competition. Nobody does act.
- 32:33Speaker 1: To be clear, this is different than an audition, very different.
- 32:37Speaker 4: Very wine.
- 32:39Speaker 3: Back in the day, you did not You are my age.
- 32:41Speaker 3: You did not do this.
- 32:42Speaker 7: My mother used to tell me this that she used
- 32:44Speaker 7: to have a couple of bottles of wine back in
- 32:46Speaker 7: the day and sit on the fire escape and compete
- 32:48Speaker 7: and make actors compete like it's a bull.
- 32:50Speaker 3: Then I'm ready because I'm I don't feel the intention
- 32:53Speaker 3: for Basil. Are you guys sensing some intentions.
- 32:55Speaker 6: I'm sensing a lot of something.
- 32:56Speaker 3: Yeah, it must be from him.
- 32:58Speaker 1: That needs to be relieved, and let's get it all
- 33:00Speaker 1: all I.
- 33:00Speaker 9: Want to do right now. It sounds great. I want
- 33:02Speaker 9: to go dance in Bolivia. That sounds amazing. But we
- 33:04Speaker 9: gotta have an act.
- 33:05Speaker 6: On you and I haven't love to do that.
- 33:06Speaker 7: Maybe we're just comparing maybe an imagination, weird space that
- 33:11Speaker 7: you go to and me the text, the literal, the
- 33:14Speaker 7: handmaking work of acting.
- 33:16Speaker 3: Listen, it's gonna be harder to compete with you because
- 33:18Speaker 3: you're acting literally right now with that fake ass accent.
- 33:21Speaker 6: This is good.
- 33:22Speaker 3: This is part of the really hard first two.
- 33:24Speaker 6: Minutes of bashing each other before we get in.
- 33:26Speaker 3: And that's it. Okay, let's go what's the line.
- 33:28Speaker 9: Well, the first thing is first two minutes of bashing
- 33:31Speaker 9: each other to get into it.
- 33:32Speaker 6: So you guys that it looks like.
- 33:34Speaker 1: We did that.
- 33:35Speaker 8: Let's pick a neutral text. Nobody has the upper hand on.
- 33:40Speaker 8: How about how about Riverdale? Do we have anything from Riverdale?
- 33:44Speaker 8: Have anything from you know?
- 33:45Speaker 6: What's funny? I always carry a Riverdale script. Why I
- 33:49Speaker 6: think it's.
- 33:49Speaker 9: The best show. And that's a universe. I can understand
- 33:53Speaker 9: the Riverdale universe. There's different this is true, there's different realities,
- 33:59Speaker 9: there's different mentions and different characters in Riverdale.
- 34:05Speaker 4: Exterior.
- 34:05Speaker 3: Yeah, we need to know if it's outcentered inside. Okay,
- 34:08Speaker 3: so this is the scene.
- 34:09Speaker 1: Well, we can't let them have the upper hand.
- 34:12Speaker 6: Yes, of course, maybe it's nowhere. This is what's gonna happen.
- 34:15Speaker 6: We're gonna give you, guys these texts. We're gonna flip
- 34:18Speaker 6: it over.
- 34:19Speaker 9: One of you is gonna read one line, the next
- 34:22Speaker 9: one is gonna read the next line. The next one
- 34:24Speaker 9: is gonna read the next line. We will do the
- 34:26Speaker 9: intermittente texts.
- 34:27Speaker 3: So we're not doing the same lines. We're just acting
- 34:29Speaker 3: in a scene together against you.
- 34:33Speaker 6: Who won? Yeah? You feel who wins?
- 34:35Speaker 9: You guys feel because the thing is in this in
- 34:38Speaker 9: this scene, which actually why Riverdale works so well. It's
- 34:40Speaker 9: the same character talking to himself in a different universe
- 34:44Speaker 9: because in let me just explain something, Riverdale, there's I
- 34:49Speaker 9: think it's called rival river Vail, and that's a different reality.
- 34:54Speaker 9: And this is true in the show. River Vale's energy
- 34:57Speaker 9: is slowly absorbing the energy of Riverdale, swallowing it.
- 35:00Speaker 6: True fact.
- 35:01Speaker 9: Okay, so these two characters are talking to each other,
- 35:03Speaker 9: same character, Go ahead and act off.
- 35:11Speaker 6: He's in Billy's place. He's in Billy's place. Are you
- 35:16Speaker 6: reading the text? What are you doing?
- 35:17Speaker 7: I'm just waiting to be a candlelight only?
- 35:24Speaker 6: Why why do I look like this?
- 35:28Speaker 3: Why do I look like you?
- 35:30Speaker 7: You me in the mirror?
- 35:33Speaker 3: Wait? I know you from when.
- 35:38Speaker 7: That's all the text is giving me.
- 35:39Speaker 6: Yeah, that's good, that's great. Wow did you say.
- 35:48Speaker 7: Come back to apple Sauce in your little imaginary fucking
- 35:51Speaker 7: corner with the sergeant I.
- 35:53Speaker 3: Saw this girl there.
- 35:54Speaker 1: Oh god, oh you have visitors this place. We had
- 35:59Speaker 1: a policy.
- 36:01Speaker 3: She said, we need to talk, and we went down
- 36:04Speaker 3: to the store.
- 36:05Speaker 6: Well we were acting.
- 36:07Speaker 3: Yeah, we had a whole life together.
- 36:09Speaker 8: Okay, it sounds like you weren't in the scene, so
- 36:11Speaker 8: I think Basil dide No, but how did they look?
- 36:14Speaker 9: I give it to Billy. So we're a split circus,
- 36:18Speaker 9: a double cast.
- 36:19Speaker 8: Well, you know what happens in a split circus of
- 36:22Speaker 8: an act off?
- 36:24Speaker 1: You have to draw out your guns.
- 36:26Speaker 9: You guys have guns. That's something we used to do
- 36:28Speaker 9: in the eighties. Yeah, what not loaded? But who looked
- 36:32Speaker 9: the most intimidating?
- 36:34Speaker 8: You turn around, you walk ten paces away from each other,
- 36:38Speaker 8: you and you draw, and whoever's the most scared loses.
- 36:41Speaker 9: Yeah, it's a classic. You know, the industry has changed
- 36:44Speaker 9: so much.
- 36:45Speaker 1: So much. We used to do this all the time.
- 36:49Speaker 8: On We Got Fucked in the Country, which is a
- 36:53Speaker 8: different show. I think that, Yeah, that was the That
- 37:01Speaker 8: was the reboot, and I will not do any more
- 37:03Speaker 8: reboots of that show, I tell you what I will not.
- 37:07Speaker 8: But we would always you know, it seems like a
- 37:10Speaker 8: very straightforward show where just four ladies were four country hicks,
- 37:14Speaker 8: you know, looking at the dating scene and going out,
- 37:18Speaker 8: getting sucked in the country, coming back.
- 37:19Speaker 1: Home drinking wine.
- 37:22Speaker 8: But sometimes, you know, we'd get into the lines and
- 37:25Speaker 8: we get into the dialogue and it start to get
- 37:27Speaker 8: this sort of rivalry going with you know, of course,
- 37:31Speaker 8: and my, my, my, my little bit of rivalry with
- 37:34Speaker 8: Rachel and Canada and Elaine, like the three other.
- 37:39Speaker 1: Ladies in the show.
- 37:42Speaker 6: Fantastic and so good.
- 37:46Speaker 1: She's so good, she's so good.
- 37:49Speaker 3: In Canada Jessica, right.
- 37:52Speaker 1: Canada, Jessica Coachella.
- 37:55Speaker 6: She I love that incredible.
- 37:56Speaker 3: But we used to get acts all the She's a
- 37:59Speaker 3: good end of mine. Actually we were in a movie together.
- 38:01Speaker 9: Well, this is great because you know, I actually want
- 38:03Speaker 9: to you know, because we're on this I wanted a
- 38:05Speaker 9: little bit of spill.
- 38:06Speaker 6: You guys have any beef? You guys have any beef
- 38:09Speaker 6: with anybody?
- 38:10Speaker 3: Every actor?
- 38:12Speaker 6: Uh huh.
- 38:13Speaker 7: I hate Margo Robbie. I won't speak to her.
- 38:19Speaker 6: WHOA what happened?
- 38:19Speaker 7: Why she takes my tables at restaurants?
- 38:22Speaker 6: Really? Wow? What restaurant had happened?
- 38:25Speaker 7: Once said Boogo de Peppo?
- 38:29Speaker 6: Why were you and Margot Robbie?
- 38:31Speaker 1: Were you at Boko de Peppo. Were you Buka de Peppo,
- 38:35Speaker 1: Boogo de Peppo.
- 38:36Speaker 3: Oh that makes sense.
- 38:39Speaker 6: I start to mitchellan Star.
- 38:41Speaker 3: Yes, yes, oh not no, No, Book de Peppo in
- 38:45Speaker 3: that warehouse in Venice.
- 38:46Speaker 7: Yes, Book to Peppo. It's so hard to get a
- 38:48Speaker 7: reservation there one table, mainly because the website is so
- 38:51Speaker 7: hard to find because you keep going into Boogo to Peppo.
- 38:53Speaker 3: And it's dot Pizza. It's not a dot.
- 38:56Speaker 4: Com, it's pizza pizza. It's the most American. And then
- 39:01Speaker 4: I was going there.
- 39:02Speaker 7: I had the table in the corner, me and my
- 39:04Speaker 7: husband and Margot. Robbie came in and was so hot
- 39:08Speaker 7: hot shit, took the took the table, sat down.
- 39:11Speaker 6: Wow, I love that.
- 39:13Speaker 9: I used to have a lot of beef, you know,
- 39:15Speaker 9: back in the day, you know, because we were kind
- 39:17Speaker 9: of bulls in the ring fighting. You know, it was
- 39:19Speaker 9: a different time back then. We were all trying to
- 39:22Speaker 9: do movies, drink and party. But one of my rivals,
- 39:26Speaker 9: a guy named Keith band Doh, he unfortunately passed.
- 39:31Speaker 1: So sweet angel.
- 39:34Speaker 6: Yeah he was a sweet guy, monster to me.
- 39:37Speaker 3: But yeah, I was on because he was he was
- 39:41Speaker 3: the lead on Louisiana PD.
- 39:44Speaker 6: Yeah. For the nineties, that season where he died.
- 39:46Speaker 4: Yeah, great show, it was great.
- 39:49Speaker 3: That was my first co star. Co star. I was
- 39:51Speaker 3: a I was a young cop that he How old
- 39:55Speaker 3: were you? I was. I was fourteen, young, young, different,
- 40:02Speaker 3: like an intern call. I was a Yeah, it was
- 40:04Speaker 3: well in Louisiana. In Louisiana, you can become a cop
- 40:07Speaker 3: at fifteen years old. So he was. Yeah, he had
- 40:09Speaker 3: a work permit to work. It was it was a
- 40:11Speaker 3: whole thing that worked in the show. And I was just,
- 40:14Speaker 3: uh he I walked in and I saw him having
- 40:17Speaker 3: sex with the secretary and he said, don't be me
- 40:19Speaker 3: and I ran out.
- 40:20Speaker 6: Yeah that was him. That's definitely Keith.
- 40:22Speaker 3: So that was the character.
- 40:24Speaker 5: Oh oh that's some tea.
- 40:28Speaker 6: Never mind, yeah, never mind.
- 40:31Speaker 1: Wow. Wow.
- 40:32Speaker 3: This has been just wonderful talking to all you guys.
- 40:34Speaker 3: This has been Yeah, it's been great. An any do
- 40:38Speaker 3: we want to leave some advice for younger actors? How's that?
- 40:42Speaker 6: Yeah? Sure, yeah, sure, because.
- 40:44Speaker 3: I know when I was looking up to you guys
- 40:46Speaker 3: all your advice was so helpful when I saw you
- 40:48Speaker 3: guys in interviews. I'd love to be the person to
- 40:50Speaker 3: do that.
- 40:51Speaker 9: Yeah, okay, yeah, oh yeah, I think, uh, you know,
- 40:56Speaker 9: for actors. You gotta, like, look, just being the scene,
- 41:00Speaker 9: you know, like just be in the moment, being the scene.
- 41:03Speaker 9: And you guys have such an advantage. You guys have
- 41:05Speaker 9: such an advantage. You know, it's such an advantage this
- 41:08Speaker 9: time because you guys get to live in it and
- 41:11Speaker 9: the world's fucked up and it's messed up. But if
- 41:14Speaker 9: you guys can buckle down and do the work and
- 41:16Speaker 9: live in the scene and be in the moment and
- 41:19Speaker 9: those emotions that you're feeling, you know, make sure you
- 41:22Speaker 9: give it up to God, you know, give it up
- 41:24Speaker 9: to God, because that's the guy interesting.
- 41:26Speaker 3: And that is another twist from you another.
- 41:30Speaker 6: Oh I'm a devout religious man.
- 41:33Speaker 9: Yeah, you gotta give it up to God because he
- 41:35Speaker 9: has the answers.
- 41:36Speaker 8: And he's first invited to Danny DeVito's he put Danny
- 41:41Speaker 8: DeVito publishes a list at the Christmas party of who
- 41:43Speaker 8: he invited first based on how Christian they are.
- 41:47Speaker 3: Because of at midnight, right, he's messing around the whole
- 41:53Speaker 3: time he was there, who's on the list?
- 41:55Speaker 6: Who's number one? The whole time?
- 41:58Speaker 8: One?
- 41:58Speaker 6: And arouse, he's a monster that.
- 42:03Speaker 7: You guys have advice.
- 42:06Speaker 8: Well, yes, of course, I would say that in order
- 42:09Speaker 8: to be an actor, you have to have life experience. Right,
- 42:13Speaker 8: So before you even think of picking up a piece
- 42:16Speaker 8: of paper with some words on it, go and live
- 42:19Speaker 8: those words, right, Go live your own words.
- 42:22Speaker 1: Go go do what I did. Go walk up to
- 42:24Speaker 1: a farm in Idaho, say what are you selling? Can
- 42:27Speaker 1: I buy some?
- 42:28Speaker 8: And then work with them for years? Go go to Paris.
- 42:32Speaker 8: Go to Paris and start start starting, start farming, start farming.
- 42:38Speaker 8: Go to China and start farming.
- 42:40Speaker 6: A lot of farming stuff.
- 42:42Speaker 1: That's where you come alive.
- 42:43Speaker 8: It's where when your when your hands are in the dirt,
- 42:46Speaker 8: that's when your head is in the sky. That's what
- 42:48Speaker 8: my mother always said. And you just got to feel
- 42:51Speaker 8: it in your body. You gotta zoopy zoopy zip zeb Zabbi,
- 42:54Speaker 8: get a but a Scooby Dobby and she get to
- 42:58Speaker 8: yourself before bed.
- 42:59Speaker 3: Awesome.
- 43:00Speaker 6: Wow, I love that. Yeah, I love that.
- 43:02Speaker 9: You guys have any advice? I know you're kind of young.
- 43:04Speaker 9: How old you guys? I'm thirty Okay.
- 43:08Speaker 7: I'm thirty.
- 43:09Speaker 3: Yeah, okay, I guess my advice would be find your place.
- 43:14Speaker 6: M simple nice, Yeah, just like Billy's place. Yeah.
- 43:19Speaker 1: Okay, wait, start you pitching Billy's place right now.
- 43:24Speaker 3: Listen, it feels like a pitch. It is not a pitch.
- 43:28Speaker 3: It is it is its own situation in my brain. Okay,
- 43:31Speaker 3: but I will say that there are some people interested
- 43:35Speaker 3: over at Fox Animation Group.
- 43:38Speaker 4: Oh my god, I can't hear about Baisa.
- 43:43Speaker 1: Oh no, oh my goodness.
- 43:46Speaker 3: Basil Basil.
- 43:47Speaker 6: You didn't hear anything where? What accent was that?
- 43:52Speaker 3: What an over correction?
- 43:53Speaker 1: Vaso vasil, bazzel Basil? You dug where you're from?
- 43:57Speaker 9: Kid?
- 43:58Speaker 6: You're never gonna find who were you?
- 44:05Speaker 7: This has been artists on artists on artists on artists
- 44:07Speaker 7: on artists, answering the question. Now, that's why they call
- 44:09Speaker 7: it show biz.
