- 0:00Speaker 1: Now the Red Beret has returned to radio. Curtis Lee
- 0:05Speaker 1: Wall guest host the Mark Simone Show on sevent ten.
- 0:09Speaker 2: Woor, substituting for Mark, will be back on January second.
- 0:22Speaker 2: So I want to tiptoe around the tulips a little
- 0:25Speaker 2: bit and talk about Somalians and ripoffs of the taxpayers.
- 0:31Speaker 2: Cause a lot of sensitive people out there. They know
- 0:34Speaker 2: that I know where all the bones are buried and
- 0:36Speaker 2: who buried it. So I'll do a tiny tim dance
- 0:42Speaker 2: around the tulips a little bit. So it's to not
- 0:46Speaker 2: aggravate Mark upon his return. Play the ukulele? Who's Who's
- 0:52Speaker 2: his girlfriend? Remember he saw it on Ed Sullivan and
- 0:55Speaker 2: quite at MERV Griffin the talk shows. Remember who is it?
- 0:59Speaker 2: A quick little trip you here? One eight hundred three
- 1:01Speaker 2: two one zero seven ten. That's one eight hundred three
- 1:05Speaker 2: two one zero seven ten. Who's the girlfriend? Then he
- 1:09Speaker 2: played the ukulele too. But also I just want to
- 1:14Speaker 2: before we talk about Somalian I give you a geography
- 1:17Speaker 2: and a history lesson and a lesson about ripoffs that
- 1:21Speaker 2: didn't start with the Somalians actually started. I first learned
- 1:24Speaker 2: about them in nineteen seventy five, and it wasn't in Minnesota,
- 1:29Speaker 2: was right in our tri state area. Get ready. But
- 1:33Speaker 2: as Tom Cuddy brought to my attention, our program director
- 1:36Speaker 2: here wor you got to get the inside radio edition.
- 1:40Speaker 2: The headline Curtis Sleewer's radio persona resonates with a new generation.
- 1:46Speaker 2: And as you know, I'm on here my new found
- 1:50Speaker 2: friendly station at seven ten WR that I Nancy listened to.
- 1:54Speaker 2: But there's another station on also that's broadcasting talk and
- 1:58Speaker 2: that's WNYC, which I actually was there for a while.
- 2:02Speaker 2: Believe it or not, you've been in this business, You've
- 2:05Speaker 2: been fired, you've been hired. That's just the nature of it.
- 2:08Speaker 2: It's like counting the rings of a tree to determine
- 2:11Speaker 2: how long the tree is out. So yes, they I'm
- 2:15Speaker 2: out there, and there are a number of Zorinistas. They
- 2:20Speaker 2: listened to WNYC and Brian Lair he's been on forever,
- 2:24Speaker 2: like from ten to twelve, and apparently he had a
- 2:27Speaker 2: contest on his show and the first question was which
- 2:34Speaker 2: mayoral candidate listened to edm in this last mayoral election,
- 2:43Speaker 2: And apparently a caller a Zorin East and nailed it
- 2:47Speaker 2: first right out of the box. At the start of
- 2:49Speaker 2: his program. Oh that's Chainsmokers, you know, Curtis EDM electronic
- 2:54Speaker 2: dance music, that's for sure. Under the Kasjusco bridge. We
- 2:58Speaker 2: saw Nancy and him there like really grooving into it,
- 3:04Speaker 2: and it was. It was a great concert. And we
- 3:06Speaker 2: loved Chainsmokers all their songs, but especially Don't Let Me Down.
- 3:11Speaker 2: I liked the version with Daya singing. And then you
- 3:14Speaker 2: got to Alex Paul and Drew Taggart And this is
- 3:18Speaker 2: what we do in the wee hours in the morning
- 3:19Speaker 2: to decompress at the slaverer household with our six cats.
- 3:24Speaker 2: That's tried. If you don't like it, tough noogies. But
- 3:27Speaker 2: we listened to a lot of EDM and we watched
- 3:31Speaker 2: the reruns of the Office. As I told you, my
- 3:35Speaker 2: favorite episode is the snowball fight. Was that not great?
- 3:41Speaker 2: You know when there was a little dusting of snow
- 3:42Speaker 2: and Scranton, Pennsylvania. Now there's a threat of more inclement
- 3:46Speaker 2: weather in the anyway, the point is that's what we
- 3:49Speaker 2: do to decompress. I cannot listen to talk radio all day. Sorry,
- 3:55Speaker 2: gives me a headache, gives me a migraine. It's two repetitionous.
- 4:00Speaker 2: It's like you want to do good talk radio, you've
- 4:03Speaker 2: got to do two hours of preparation for every one
- 4:06Speaker 2: hour on the air, and you gotta be entertaining. I
- 4:08Speaker 2: don't need to hear what was on the news from
- 4:11Speaker 2: the day before. I got it already. But maybe, like
- 4:15Speaker 2: you'll hear coming up little education on Somalians and Somali's
- 4:19Speaker 2: and also the ripoffs that have taken place there that
- 4:23Speaker 2: have gotten everyone bent out of shape, as they should.
- 4:27Speaker 2: But now that it's started and this is good, FBI,
- 4:31Speaker 2: you know, Department of Homeland Service says, are we gonna
- 4:35Speaker 2: do that in other communities, including amongst many of our
- 4:38Speaker 2: political allies in France. Oh, that maybe is where you
- 4:44Speaker 2: want to draw the line. But anyway, high five to
- 4:47Speaker 2: Lenny Lowpate of having me as the first question out
- 4:51Speaker 2: of the box. Quick point I had been fired. I
- 4:55Speaker 2: think it was like ninety three, right at the point
- 4:59Speaker 2: that Rudy Juliet he was elective mayor, and as I mentioned,
- 5:01Speaker 2: I went to his inauguration, sitting there watching little Andrew
- 5:05Speaker 2: Giuliani climb up the podium at Chris Farley popularized on
- 5:10Speaker 2: Saturday Night Live. Those were great bits, but also David Dinkins,
- 5:15Speaker 2: who I did not support, felt was a horrible mayor,
- 5:19Speaker 2: was a gentleman and attended the inauguration to show the
- 5:22Speaker 2: passing of the mayoralty. And Rudy calls me up. He says,
- 5:31Speaker 2: I understand he got fired at WABC. I like you
- 5:33Speaker 2: to come over to WNYC, which at that time was
- 5:37Speaker 2: owned by the City of New York along with its
- 5:39Speaker 2: TV station. And when we said we got to get
- 5:41Speaker 2: out of the business of subsidizing radio and TV, we
- 5:46Speaker 2: got these two big sticks. I'm sure there are commercial
- 5:49Speaker 2: outlets that'll be more than happy to have them. I
- 5:52Speaker 2: want you to come over do a program. You know,
- 5:55Speaker 2: they're all bent out of shape thinking you're going to
- 5:56Speaker 2: come over and just do it about communities. Nobody knows
- 5:59Speaker 2: more about New York City than you. I said, of course,
- 6:01Speaker 2: weldn't know everything about the three hundred and fifty neighborhoods
- 6:04Speaker 2: in make up the city. And I went over there
- 6:07Speaker 2: and it was like mixing Aman You with Bleach. They
- 6:11Speaker 2: were all bent out of shape. Oh, very liberal, very progressive.
- 6:14Speaker 2: And the guy on before me, because I was on
- 6:17Speaker 2: from two to four, was the cultural guy. Lenny Lopate
- 6:21Speaker 2: no longer alive, and he introduced me to the audience
- 6:26Speaker 2: by saying, and now you're gonna hear from the guy
- 6:29Speaker 2: that was forced on to us by Mayor elect Rudy Giuliani,
- 6:33Speaker 2: a guy who, uh, the best he can do is
- 6:37Speaker 2: read magazine covers and comic books. And I said, oh, really, Lenny, huh,
- 6:43Speaker 2: that's that's all I'm known for reading magazine covers and
- 6:46Speaker 2: comic books. And then he broke wild on me. He
- 6:50Speaker 2: just he lost it. He says, I know you. You
- 6:53Speaker 2: went to a prestigious Jesuit high school. They kicked you
- 6:56Speaker 2: out brough Coprep. I went to Eastern District High School.
- 7:00Speaker 2: I lived in a cold water flat where the tilet
- 7:03Speaker 2: was all the way down. We had to share it
- 7:04Speaker 2: on the floor. Guy went, I mean wild, he went Ghettowamie.
- 7:11Speaker 2: I lasted all the seven months I could not be there.
- 7:15Speaker 2: That was not my place to be WNYC. And I
- 7:18Speaker 2: ended up being hired back at WABC to do overnights
- 7:22Speaker 2: by a guy named Don Belucas, who was the general
- 7:24Speaker 2: manager because the program director, John Minelly said you will
- 7:27Speaker 2: never work here at WABC, and come on, I noticed business. Okay,
- 7:32Speaker 2: they come, they go, and I got back there. But
- 7:37Speaker 2: I shout out to Lenny Loped you know, he was
- 7:39Speaker 2: one of the three moderators in that second debate. It
- 7:44Speaker 2: broke all records in terms of people watching the New
- 7:46Speaker 2: York one host at LaGuardia Community College. You had Eron Lewis,
- 7:50Speaker 2: he was the moderator. You had Katie Katie Hanlin oh
- 7:56Speaker 2: mana mis pronouncing her name, I'll get it right from
- 8:00Speaker 2: the city. And then of course there was Brian Lair
- 8:05Speaker 2: and they had It was a good debate, a fair debate,
- 8:08Speaker 2: fair to Cuomo, fair to me, fair to Zoran. Although
- 8:11Speaker 2: that's the one he was schmitzing it. Remember that's the
- 8:14Speaker 2: one where we had him on the ropes. It was
- 8:17Speaker 2: a tko, it wasn't a koe. And all of this
- 8:20Speaker 2: leading into his inauguration and as I said, the song
- 8:25Speaker 2: by the Clash, the greatest counterculture band of all time.
- 8:28Speaker 2: Should I stay or should I go? Hmm to be determined.
- 8:36Speaker 2: But this light of the Cheech and Chong album, Remember Class, Class, Class,
- 8:45Speaker 2: and everyone shut up. Was that system of Mary Mark
- 8:50Speaker 2: and common Sita whatever. We're gonna have a little lesson
- 8:54Speaker 2: on Somalia since everyone is a newfound expert on the
- 8:58Speaker 2: corruption in Minneso soda that has come with the migration
- 9:03Speaker 2: of refugees from the Somalian Civil War. It occurred back
- 9:08Speaker 2: in the early nineties. Remember it was Bush forty one
- 9:11Speaker 2: who was going to bring him bread and peace and love.
- 9:14Speaker 2: And then all of a sudden, the warlords turned their
- 9:17Speaker 2: guns on the Americans and we were at war. There's
- 9:21Speaker 2: no other way to describe it. Oh, it's a police action. No,
- 9:24Speaker 2: it was a war. And again, Somalia was part of
- 9:31Speaker 2: the Italian provinces of then Benito Mussolini. This was before
- 9:35Speaker 2: World War Two. Somalia, then there was Eritrea, always at
- 9:40Speaker 2: war with Ethiopia, and then of course Libya before Momar
- 9:44Speaker 2: Kaddafi came around with in his drug induced psychosis. They
- 9:47Speaker 2: were all Italian provinces. You know. I found out about it.
- 9:52Speaker 2: I was gone to our Lady of Miracles rectory where
- 9:55Speaker 2: the head preach, the monseignor was u Father Siminetti, and
- 10:02Speaker 2: he had a big picture of Benito Mussolini taking care
- 10:08Speaker 2: of older natives from and that case was Ethiopia. My
- 10:11Speaker 2: mother had taken me there because she wanted me to
- 10:13Speaker 2: be an altar boy. I did not want to be
- 10:16Speaker 2: an Aultipoy for a lot of reasons, you know what
- 10:18Speaker 2: I'm hinting at. But I was patronizing the monseignor, Father Siminetti,
- 10:25Speaker 2: who was eyebailing me a little too nicely, and he
- 10:29Speaker 2: was explaining to me how, Yeah, Benito Massolini was a
- 10:32Speaker 2: benevolent dictator. He took care of the people in Somalia, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Libya.
- 10:38Speaker 2: It would have been better for them better. Wasn't he
- 10:43Speaker 2: our enemy? Yeah? Yeah, but there was a lot of misunderstandings.
- 10:46Speaker 2: I knew right then and there. I didn't want to
- 10:48Speaker 2: be anywhere near this mun signor Father Semene years ahead.
- 10:55Speaker 2: He is one of many of the priests that were
- 10:57Speaker 2: found to be perving yep altar boys, in which the
- 11:04Speaker 2: Archdiocese of Brooklyn, Queens was paying out millions and millions
- 11:07Speaker 2: of dollars. You see. My intuition was, Mom, Francesca, my
- 11:12Speaker 2: beloved mother, who would go to the Lvena's, would go
- 11:15Speaker 2: to the stations of the Cross whenever cursed, would do
- 11:17Speaker 2: the rosaries. Mom, I'm not becoming an altar boy. So
- 11:21Speaker 2: I became a choir boy, and you wore all red
- 11:23Speaker 2: and the nuns took care of you. The nuns. They
- 11:25Speaker 2: were pious, they were chased, they were true believers, they
- 11:29Speaker 2: were married to Jesus Christ. They had the wedding band on.
- 11:32Speaker 2: You went into the rectory. Boy, the priests were ostentageous. Hey,
- 11:37Speaker 2: you know, where'd you get this? You didn't get this
- 11:39Speaker 2: carpet from Kalvini carpet, that's for sure. Wow, that looks
- 11:42Speaker 2: like design of furniture. Trust me, never liked the priests.
- 11:48Speaker 2: I always trusted the nuns. And that's where my intuition
- 11:53Speaker 2: saved me at that point from who knows, possibly becoming
- 11:55Speaker 2: another victim of that monster. But let's talk all about
- 11:59Speaker 2: some many of you became familiar with Somalia when you
- 12:03Speaker 2: were in your rock and roll days, you know, following
- 12:06Speaker 2: David Bowie, Ziggi Star. Does you remember those great albums?
- 12:11Speaker 2: You wouldn't know is he that's before your time? The
- 12:14Speaker 2: Rising Fall of Ziggi, Stardust, Starman, Oh Space. Out of
- 12:18Speaker 2: these were great. But he married Iman. Whenever you're a
- 12:24Speaker 2: one named person, you're like super spectacular share Iman. She
- 12:30Speaker 2: was a high profile model for Hasace Calvin Kleines. She
- 12:34Speaker 2: had been married at Spencer Heywood, the basketball player. They divorced.
- 12:38Speaker 2: She had been born in Mogadishu, well before Black Hawk Down.
- 12:44Speaker 2: By the way, that reminds me a black Hawk Down.
- 12:48Speaker 2: You know what that was the result of Bill Clinton
- 12:50Speaker 2: was in charge at the time, and he was seeking
- 12:52Speaker 2: out the warlord Adid, who by the way, was doing
- 12:56Speaker 2: interviews with every network in the world. You know, he
- 13:00Speaker 2: got We're out there gonna find a deed. He's right
- 13:02Speaker 2: there in Mogadishu. He's doing interviews at CNN, with Fox
- 13:06Speaker 2: News Channel. To be beachd couldn't find them, so they
- 13:09Speaker 2: send the helicopters in to get our deed, the warlord,
- 13:15Speaker 2: and you know the disaster they followed. By the way,
- 13:18Speaker 2: our Deed's son was a United States Marine translator at
- 13:24Speaker 2: that time for the Marines that were in Somalia. He
- 13:29Speaker 2: had been raised in Long Beach, California. When his father
- 13:34Speaker 2: died because we never got him guests who went back
- 13:37Speaker 2: to Somalia from Long Beach, California and declared himself to
- 13:42Speaker 2: be the warlord taking over for his father. What a mess.
- 13:48Speaker 2: And then of course the Somalian pirates during the time
- 13:51Speaker 2: of the Smooth Operator. Barack Obama so much about Somalia
- 13:55Speaker 2: and so many of you have no idea, where it
- 13:57Speaker 2: is in the map, what its history is. All you
- 14:00Speaker 2: want to know is about all the fraud as you
- 14:02Speaker 2: should want to know of what may be ten billion
- 14:06Speaker 2: dollars they got ripped off from the tax bears. When
- 14:10Speaker 2: we come back, I'll explain a little bit of that,
- 14:12Speaker 2: But then I'll say, we're not gonna stop here, are we?
- 14:16Speaker 2: Because you know they're Democrats, they voted in a block
- 14:19Speaker 2: they vote in a block code language. We're not gonna
- 14:25Speaker 2: stop here, are we. We're gonna go after our friends too,
- 14:27Speaker 2: those that are supportive of our politics, those who have
- 14:31Speaker 2: ripped us off over the years to the tune of
- 14:33Speaker 2: billions and billions of dollars. Right we are. We're gonna
- 14:36Speaker 2: go the whole nine yards, right, FBI, all the federal agencies.
- 14:41Speaker 2: Not just after our perceived political enemies. We're gonna go
- 14:45Speaker 2: after our friends. Still want to bet we don't. One
- 14:48Speaker 2: eight hundred three two one zero seven ten. That's one
- 14:52Speaker 2: eight hundred three two one zero seven ten. It's seven
- 14:55Speaker 2: ten w R. This is your new place to be the.
- 14:59Speaker 1: Streets Large Straight Talk. Curtis Lee were a guest host
- 15:03Speaker 1: for Mark Simone on sevent tenor.
- 15:11Speaker 2: Well, All the Talk is about Somalia and Somalians who
- 15:17Speaker 2: migrated to America during the Civil War, mostly in Minneapolis,
- 15:22Speaker 2: but some to Lewiston, Maine, where I saw them back there.
- 15:27Speaker 2: That was the site of the second Cassius Clay Sonny
- 15:32Speaker 2: Listening fight. Although Cassius Clay had become Muhammad Ali, he
- 15:36Speaker 2: all of a sudden was following the teachings of the
- 15:40Speaker 2: nation of this almost sixty five. They chose Lewiston because
- 15:43Speaker 2: they wanted to have the fight in the Boston Garden
- 15:46Speaker 2: round two, but they were threats because he was now
- 15:51Speaker 2: Muhammad Ali said. They went to Lewiston, Maine. God and
- 15:56Speaker 2: when I went up there after being in Portland, Maine,
- 15:59Speaker 2: very nice out. It's sort of like a lot of
- 16:02Speaker 2: Somalians there and some of the same charges of being
- 16:05Speaker 2: made of fraud investigations, mostly involving medicaid. And you heard
- 16:11Speaker 2: it all and seen it all. That young man Nick Shirley,
- 16:14Speaker 2: who I've met many times, he is sort of like
- 16:17Speaker 2: a documentarian, did a forty five minute video I suggest
- 16:21Speaker 2: you a look at. It talks about ten years of
- 16:26Speaker 2: investigations that supposedly were taking place about no children being
- 16:31Speaker 2: inside the building daycare, Universal Childcare money being paid out billions,
- 16:37Speaker 2: and obviously people getting lined, they were getting wine dine
- 16:42Speaker 2: pocket lined in the Somalian community. And ilhan Omar when
- 16:48Speaker 2: elected had nothing, had belly button lint, and all of
- 16:51Speaker 2: a sudden, the next year she had thirty mils. So
- 16:53Speaker 2: this is all good. We want this, We want us
- 16:56Speaker 2: to root out fraud because it costs you and me money.
- 17:03Speaker 2: But does it stop here because it is a block vote?
- 17:08Speaker 2: Remember the term block vote? Does it stop here because
- 17:13Speaker 2: they are Democrats. They're going to vote for Democrats. It's
- 17:16Speaker 2: a democratic, prenominally democratic state. And for many of you,
- 17:20Speaker 2: you want to get that governor one way or the other,
- 17:23Speaker 2: right in Ilhanomar. Okay, good, good. If the investigation leads
- 17:27Speaker 2: to that, good you gotta go. And by the way,
- 17:30Speaker 2: the call is is that if you are a naturalized
- 17:33Speaker 2: Somalian citizen and your foul guilty of fraud, you gotta
- 17:37Speaker 2: go too. Well, you gotta have due process. But I
- 17:40Speaker 2: don't have a problem with that. But now that was
- 17:45Speaker 2: starting in twenty fifteen, is he twenty twenty? You remember
- 17:50Speaker 2: the lockdown and pandemic, right, you remember all the money
- 17:55Speaker 2: that the Trump administration had to issue unprecedented cause our
- 18:01Speaker 2: country and the world was becoming well, dissolving fiscally. So
- 18:06Speaker 2: the Secretary of Treasury was.
- 18:08Speaker 3: Writing out checks, writing out checks, stimulus checks, paycheck protection programs,
- 18:14Speaker 3: moneies for businesses big and small to keep employees working.
- 18:22Speaker 2: Remember that it was like four trillion dollars. All we
- 18:25Speaker 2: did was what we always do in the federal government,
- 18:27Speaker 2: print money. That's why we have a thirty eight trillion
- 18:29Speaker 2: dollar debt that both parties contribute to. None of them
- 18:33Speaker 2: want to cut to it. So four trillion more dollars.
- 18:36Speaker 2: You know how much of that was stolen? They asked
- 18:39Speaker 2: the man about five hundred billion out of four trillion.
- 18:42Speaker 2: We're some allians part of the I don't know, maybe,
- 18:46Speaker 2: but fake businesses that were set up loans on behalf
- 18:51Speaker 2: of nonexistent or shell companies. That's a little sophisticated businesses
- 18:57Speaker 2: claim hundreds of nonexistent employees to cure larger payments, and
- 19:03Speaker 2: companies receive loans but laid off workers anyway and spent
- 19:07Speaker 2: the money on bling, bling sports cars and mansions. Were
- 19:12Speaker 2: some of them som allions possibly, but a lot of
- 19:18Speaker 2: them were people just like you and me that are
- 19:20Speaker 2: listening now. Some of you, in fact, may say, oh, Curtis,
- 19:23Speaker 2: please don't mention my name. They haven't caught up to
- 19:25Speaker 2: me yet. Yeah, by the way, they haven't caught up
- 19:27Speaker 2: to almost everybody. Five hundred billion dollars that was stolen
- 19:36Speaker 2: from the COVID money they had to be issued to
- 19:38Speaker 2: keep to the country solvent. There was no oversight whatsoever.
- 19:42Speaker 2: Could we could go back over that and say they
- 19:44Speaker 2: should have been could have, would have. But that's not
- 19:47Speaker 2: the only thing. We got medicaid mills all over our
- 19:51Speaker 2: Chi state area, three or four practitioners, high volume. They
- 19:56Speaker 2: build medicaid, not comprehensive care. You walk in there, are
- 20:01Speaker 2: you a doctor? Why do you need to know? And
- 20:05Speaker 2: they built us for millions and millions of dollars. And
- 20:09Speaker 2: then the president likes to say, hey, we're bombing more
- 20:12Speaker 2: of those boats off of Venezuela because you know they're
- 20:16Speaker 2: bringing in fent it All and it's killing like close
- 20:19Speaker 2: to well did he say the other day two hundred
- 20:22Speaker 2: and fifty thousand dollars a boat, two hundred and fifty
- 20:26Speaker 2: thousand people whose lives are saved. Such nonsense. First of all,
- 20:29Speaker 2: there's no fenton All going through Venezuela. But I would
- 20:33Speaker 2: say to the president he was very concerned about OxyContin
- 20:38Speaker 2: and oxy codon. And a lot of Americans died every
- 20:42Speaker 2: year on that one hundred thousand, right, especially Annaplasia. A
- 20:46Speaker 2: lot of Red States too, painkiller. You see that, You
- 20:52Speaker 2: see that documentary, that movie you see dope sic? Did
- 20:55Speaker 2: you see that one? I'm trying to remember who we see.
- 21:00Speaker 2: They did a great job, Michael Keaton about the Sacler family,
- 21:03Speaker 2: the Purdue Pharmaceutical company family owned, how they made billions
- 21:10Speaker 2: and were responsible for the crime of the century addicting
- 21:17Speaker 2: America the oxy conton an oxy codone. Did they go
- 21:25Speaker 2: to jail for that, is he No? Did they pay
- 21:28Speaker 2: fines for that? Yes? Did we send in F fourteen
- 21:33Speaker 2: jets and bomb their mansion? No? And there were a
- 21:40Speaker 2: lot of Republicans that knew that was taking place in
- 21:43Speaker 2: the medicaid mills and through Medicare in their states. Nothing
- 21:49Speaker 2: was done, So no problem going after the fraud by
- 21:57Speaker 2: the Somalis in Minneapolis and Ilhio. My plot, Well, let's
- 22:03Speaker 2: not stop. What about all the pelgrants that were issuing
- 22:07Speaker 2: on Chi state area for students that didn't exist, for
- 22:12Speaker 2: schools that didn't exist. You know what I'm talking about.
- 22:15Speaker 2: Come on, I know you're getting nervous out there. Look,
- 22:17Speaker 2: this is Mark some own show. He will be back
- 22:21Speaker 2: in back on the fifth. I'll be here on the second.
- 22:24Speaker 2: So before we start pointing the fingers, let's make sure
- 22:30Speaker 2: now that we go after all the fraud. Are we
- 22:35Speaker 2: ready to do that? Or are we only ready to
- 22:38Speaker 2: go after the fraud perpetuated by political enemies and not
- 22:42Speaker 2: political friends? Huh? You see, this is a question you
- 22:46Speaker 2: get a chance to answer here. It's your turn to
- 22:48Speaker 2: be heard. One eight hundred three to two one zero
- 22:52Speaker 2: seven ten. That's one eight hundred three to two one
- 22:55Speaker 2: zero seven ten on what I hope is your newfound
- 23:00Speaker 2: station for some of you who have been wandering up
- 23:02Speaker 2: and down on the dieouts sevent ten Voice of New York,
- 23:06Speaker 2: because it certainly is for me and Nancy three two
- 23:12Speaker 2: one zero seven ten. Are we gonna go after our friends,
- 23:17Speaker 2: those that we know stole from us the taxpayers, or
- 23:20Speaker 2: we gonna protect them because they're politically aligned with us?
- 23:25Speaker 2: H It gonna be a double standard. I bet you
- 23:28Speaker 2: there will be talk radio with street crack. Literally.
- 23:33Speaker 1: Curtis Leewad joined sevent ten w o R to guess
- 23:37Speaker 1: those from Mark Zamore.
- 23:43Speaker 2: All right, my phone is blowing up, people saying, you're
- 23:46Speaker 2: not gonna be talking about me, are you? Curtis? Wait
- 23:49Speaker 2: and see. Well, not on the Marx Simo Show. He'll
- 23:53Speaker 2: be back on the fifth. But there will be a
- 23:55Speaker 2: time and a place. I'm gonna set it off because
- 23:59Speaker 2: I know we're air. Everybody's bones are buried and who
- 24:02Speaker 2: buried them? So when we talk about this fraud by
- 24:06Speaker 2: Somalians in Minneapolis, Minnesota, good, let's get that money back.
- 24:11Speaker 2: Let's put them in jail if necessary, to port them.
- 24:13Speaker 2: Let's do that from ilin hol Omar right on down.
- 24:16Speaker 2: But are we gonna stop there? Are we going to
- 24:19Speaker 2: look in our own backyards, our own communities, see in
- 24:21Speaker 2: the Tri state area and beyond where those ripoffs have
- 24:25Speaker 2: been going on since nineteen seventy five by different religious groups,
- 24:32Speaker 2: racial groups, secular groups, what I call the industrial complex,
- 24:38Speaker 2: nonprofit centers. Just with our shelters here in New York City.
- 24:46Speaker 2: You know there are five hundred contracts that result in kickbacks.
- 24:52Speaker 2: When Eric Adams on the way out crying, moaning and groaning,
- 24:56Speaker 2: they didn't do anything wrong. Seven billion dollars he spent
- 24:59Speaker 2: on the illegal aliens, no big contracts and his crony's
- 25:04Speaker 2: got kickbacks on when are we gonna get that money? Huh?
- 25:08Speaker 2: They're gonna go after him, of course not. And what
- 25:11Speaker 2: about comrade Buildeblasi other part time may have the dope
- 25:13Speaker 2: from part slope over five years one point five billion
- 25:19Speaker 2: dollars on a fake, phony, fraudulent Pagazi program called Thrive
- 25:23Speaker 2: that he had his griftil wife Charlene in charge of.
- 25:26Speaker 2: And I never heard one testimonial of one emotionally disturbed
- 25:30Speaker 2: persons that were supposed to being served to say. You know,
- 25:33Speaker 2: if not for Thrive, I might have taken my own life.
- 25:38Speaker 2: I thank for now. It's a rip off. This is
- 25:42Speaker 2: just one of many Democrats and Republicans. So remember, don't
- 25:48Speaker 2: just look at those who were on the opposite side.
- 25:53Speaker 2: Gotta look at your own too. Let's go if we
- 25:56Speaker 2: can to murphew, I think he's calling from. Is that Pennsylvania?
- 26:04Speaker 2: Your turn to be heard here at seven to ten?
- 26:07Speaker 2: Wo R yes, Murphy, No, it's keith k I e
- 26:13Speaker 2: oh keith I see is he here? Spelling problem? Well?
- 26:18Speaker 2: You a product of social promotion?
- 26:20Speaker 4: Is he Okay, yes, k Curtis got a question for you.
- 26:26Speaker 4: Any chance you and Avery get back because that was
- 26:29Speaker 4: the funniest radio I've ever heard, better than Stern in
- 26:32Speaker 4: his heyday.
- 26:33Speaker 2: Oh yeah, that I used to do overnight with Avery.
- 26:35Speaker 2: He was the boardop and we would do riffs that
- 26:39Speaker 2: were very entertaining. That's why, you know, enough of the
- 26:42Speaker 2: political talk. It gives me migrating. So now it's maybe
- 26:46Speaker 2: Avery too will eventually end up here at wo R right,
- 26:51Speaker 2: right is he? That would be good? Yeah? Man, there
- 26:52Speaker 2: are so many refugees from WABC, which is always bashing Curtis,
- 26:57Speaker 2: probably doing that as we speak. Let's go to Kathy's
- 27:02Speaker 2: calling from Brooklyn. Your turn to be heard here at
- 27:04Speaker 2: seven ten w R.
- 27:08Speaker 5: Hey, Curtis, I just wanted to say that you know
- 27:12Speaker 5: that most of the common denominator is the Dems. The
- 27:17Speaker 5: Dems knew what was going on, most likely in Minnesota,
- 27:21Speaker 5: they did nothing about it because everybody was getting their
- 27:24Speaker 5: pockets line. But don't sound hurt, Curtis. Don't change who
- 27:28Speaker 5: you are by the way many of your so called
- 27:31Speaker 5: friends and co workers treated you, and I and many
- 27:36Speaker 5: others believed in you, so don't disappoint us by turning
- 27:40Speaker 5: into the same two faced people who stabbed you in
- 27:43Speaker 5: the back. Curtis, Please don't change who you are.
- 27:46Speaker 2: No, no, no, I won't. I won't. I promise you
- 27:49Speaker 2: that everybody listening crush my heart and hope to die.
- 27:53Speaker 2: Remember how we would say that as kids, cross my
- 27:55Speaker 2: heart and hope to die. How many of our friends
- 27:57Speaker 2: and our cousins said that just to play kate their
- 28:03Speaker 2: parents or anyone. Of course, my aunt hoped to die.
- 28:06Speaker 2: I didn't love I didn't love it. No, no, no, no,
- 28:09Speaker 2: I'm not gonna follow some of them who believe that gold.
- 28:13Speaker 2: Whoever has the gold makes the rules. They follow the
- 28:18Speaker 2: money like Eric Adams. Oh yeah, the price was right
- 28:22Speaker 2: for him to drop out. Will he ever admit how
- 28:25Speaker 2: how many millions he gotta? Is he? You think they
- 28:28Speaker 2: offered me ten? I hear they offered him double that
- 28:32Speaker 2: he dropped out. I didn't so extrapolate from that, or
- 28:38Speaker 2: do you believe as I believe in? I know most
- 28:40Speaker 2: of you who are listening in the Golden Rule do
- 28:42Speaker 2: unto others as you would have them do unto you.
- 28:46Speaker 2: And it's not about following the money. Let's go to Pam,
- 28:50Speaker 2: who's calling from New Jersey. Your turn to be heard
- 28:53Speaker 2: here on seven to ten wor Pam.
- 28:57Speaker 6: Hey, Curtis, I've got a funny story, at least it
- 28:59Speaker 6: is to me. You know, those hosts that were mocking
- 29:03Speaker 6: people who like cats and calling us, you know, crazy
- 29:05Speaker 6: and disturbed and all this and that, and they think
- 29:08Speaker 6: they're all that. Well, within a seventeen hour period, I
- 29:12Speaker 6: would say, Steve, you know Steve, he calls in like
- 29:16Speaker 6: four to seven times at the minimum, sometimes twice in
- 29:20Speaker 6: the same hour, and with a different name and a
- 29:23Speaker 6: different accent, and they fall for it every time. I
- 29:26Speaker 6: have to chuckle about that.
- 29:30Speaker 2: No, you're absolutely right. They got no ear for that.
- 29:33Speaker 2: Remember the first call I took here I'm studying for
- 29:36Speaker 2: Mark Simone. I realized that was a fake name and
- 29:42Speaker 2: a fake voice. If you've been doing this long enough,
- 29:44Speaker 2: I've been doing it a total love. When the ball
- 29:47Speaker 2: drops in Times Square will be thirty six. She is
- 29:51Speaker 2: doing talk radio in one form or another. You could
- 29:55Speaker 2: be you listening. You see, that's the point. You got
- 29:57Speaker 2: to listen, and then you get these callers will get
- 30:00Speaker 2: through and you as the listeners out there, most of
- 30:03Speaker 2: you who will never call a talk radio program it's
- 30:06Speaker 2: such a miniscule number of the call and really more
- 30:09Speaker 2: of you should kind of talk radio that I do.
- 30:12Speaker 2: I really like new callers. I want adversarial callers. I
- 30:16Speaker 2: want people who make you think and make you maybe
- 30:21Speaker 2: reassess the positions that you took instead of the amen choir.
- 30:28Speaker 2: I mean, I know listening. I know he's listening right
- 30:31Speaker 2: now doing a show prep. Greig Kelly at w ABC,
- 30:35Speaker 2: all the same callers, sickle fans. Dominic called it the
- 30:37Speaker 2: same caller, sickle fans. Hey can't handle a negative phone
- 30:43Speaker 2: call or the phone screen that drops them. What do
- 30:45Speaker 2: you mean drop them? I want to hear what that
- 30:47Speaker 2: person has to say, because sometimes you, as the host,
- 30:53Speaker 2: the host, that you have to acknowledge Now you got me,
- 30:55Speaker 2: you were right. I've had to do that many times
- 30:58Speaker 2: in my life. See our elected officials, they never say that.
- 31:03Speaker 2: Trump never does, Adams never did, Cuomo never did. That's
- 31:08Speaker 2: so synonymous with elected officials will never acknowledge when they're wrong,
- 31:13Speaker 2: or they'll never acknowledge like you just taught me something.
- 31:17Speaker 2: Let me reassess the position that I took. Care Oh,
- 31:21Speaker 2: by the way, I had teased you all about that
- 31:24Speaker 2: freak Jeffrey Epstein, and the number of shrinks and psychologists
- 31:30Speaker 2: now who all are self appointed experts on why this
- 31:35Speaker 2: guy was such a degenerate with so many rich friends
- 31:39Speaker 2: and influential people who knew what he was doing but
- 31:42Speaker 2: decided to put window shades on their eyes and cotton
- 31:46Speaker 2: balls in their ears. And this one psychologists who actually
- 31:52Speaker 2: attributed to him binging on junk food as a direct
- 31:59Speaker 2: contribution to his degenerate, perverse way of life. Wait, wait
- 32:03Speaker 2: till you hear this. You ain't going nowhere. Let's keep
- 32:06Speaker 2: it right here on your newfound station seven to ten
- 32:09Speaker 2: wor or the Voice of New York. Though Beret is back.
- 32:13Speaker 1: Curtis Sliwa guest host The Mark Simone Show on sevent ten.
- 32:17Speaker 2: Woah, Big Story, Martre Taylor Green No More. Trumper says
- 32:25Speaker 2: the final straw was when President Donald Trump was screaming
- 32:30Speaker 2: at her over the phone how she could not vote
- 32:33Speaker 2: to release all the Epstein files, not because he's implicated,
- 32:36Speaker 2: he's not, but because some of his friends are. Now
- 32:40Speaker 2: the question is do you believe her or do you
- 32:43Speaker 2: believe him? I believe her, And then out of the
- 32:46Speaker 2: many files that have been released with us supposedly a
- 32:49Speaker 2: million more to come right, Pam Bondi, where were all
- 32:51Speaker 2: those files? What a liar she was. There's a psychologist
- 32:56Speaker 2: who waited in and said that Jeffrey Epstein, this sexual freak,
- 33:03Speaker 2: that his appalling sexual predations with a result of him
- 33:08Speaker 2: ordering all these young foods on Amazon that went to
- 33:11Speaker 2: pedophile Island. Now look at this list. See if you
- 33:14Speaker 2: yourself have an insatiable appetite for Hostess ding Dongs, for
- 33:21Speaker 2: Drake's coffee Cakes, ring Dings, Twinkies, Devil Dogs, tutsiro pops,
- 33:28Speaker 2: and baby Ruths. She claims that his appalling sexual predations
- 33:37Speaker 2: could be culturally associated with adolescents and his massive need
- 33:45Speaker 2: to consume chunk food. And she gets paid for that
- 33:51Speaker 2: a see tomorrow at the same time, say place
