- 0:18takes? Then you're in it, folks. This is Banter
- 0:22with the Boys. Gridiron Updates. This is our
- 0:25recap episode of week seven of The Shield. N
- 0:30.F .L. Meh. Yeah, whatever. I am your host, Smeltsy.
- 0:35Next to me is Roberto. To my Larry is Jake. Yo.
- 0:40Jake. That's it. That's right. I can't call you
- 0:42the other thing. That's his thing. Oh, but you're
- 0:44Flock Doc, so. Yeah. Yeah, yeah. Anyway, Flock
- 0:47Doc's in the house, as always. Kev, be on the
- 0:49camera. Europe. I don't think I... Really explained
- 0:53it, did I? I mean, I said that we recap week
- 0:55seven games. What games are we recapping? The
- 0:57seven. No, week seven. Four of them. Yeah, what
- 1:00four games are we recapping? Well, we'll get
- 1:03to it. Bengals, Ravens, Colts, Vikings, Packers,
- 1:09Lions, Chiefs, Seachickens. There it is. Thanks,
- 1:13Rob. You're welcome. This is already off the
- 1:17rails. Oh, my God. All right. So let's start
- 1:19off with our first game here in the slate. The
- 1:22Bengals traveling to the Baltimore Ravens. Bengals
- 1:24getting the win, 35 -13. And if this game wasn't
- 1:30the definition of two halves, I don't know what
- 1:33is. Jake, we always like getting your take first.
- 1:37Feel free to take only one minute. to tell us
- 1:41how bad they are. No, I'm just kidding. I don't
- 1:43care. But take as long as you need to explain
- 1:45to us the situation in Baltimore hair. Yeah,
- 1:49I don't think there's really much to explain
- 1:50right now. Obviously, Lamar was laid out on Saturday,
- 1:54which was kind of surprising. So we had Snoop
- 1:58Huntley was starting again. Was Lamar full practice
- 2:01leading up? He wasn't full practice. He was partial
- 2:02participant throughout the entire week. Partial
- 2:06participant. Yeah, so he was questionable. uh
- 2:09on the injury report friday kind of maybe giving
- 2:13everybody hope or an expectation that he's gonna
- 2:15play and then saturday they're like no he's out
- 2:18yeah i heard the press conference of him saying
- 2:20it's not about the swelling it's the pain tolerance
- 2:23so with that and it's described now as a originally
- 2:28it was just an ankle sprain but now they're saying
- 2:30it's a high ankle sprain which usually results
- 2:33in being out a little bit longer so i mean we'll
- 2:36see how now are you concerned leading up i mean
- 2:38we can get your take in the next episode we yeah
- 2:42we'll talk about injuries yeah well let's let's
- 2:44uh put a pin in that we'll table that we're talking
- 2:46about this game the bangles the bangles um i
- 2:49ultimately yeah tale of two halves ravens defense
- 2:52just ran out of gas in the second half um didn't
- 2:55have they actually had some pretty decent consistency
- 2:58for the most part, with a few extended drives.
- 3:00In the first half or second half? Well, in the
- 3:04first half, it was fine because they were going
- 3:06into half 13 -0. So they were doing all right.
- 3:09But then they just ran out of gas. A couple of
- 3:15questionable play calls again. losing their identity.
- 3:19So in the fourth quarter, they were only down
- 3:22by a score, and there were still nine minutes
- 3:24left. And then at that point in time, they just
- 3:26kind of went, we're just going to throw the ball
- 3:28the rest of the game. They did. They got very
- 3:30pass happy in that second half. So not really
- 3:34thrilled with that. And then the Bengals' defensive
- 3:37line really had their way with that offense.
- 3:41Excuse me. against the Ravens offense. Your boy
- 3:45Juergens played, though. I did see him. So, yeah,
- 3:49they gave up four sacks, and they did a really
- 3:52great job of stopping Derrick Henry, too. So
- 3:55hats off to the Bengals defense for just really
- 3:59focusing on stopping Derrick Henry, essentially
- 4:02putting him into a pass -only kind of attack,
- 4:07which benefits the Bengals. And then that Bengals
- 4:11offense finally figured it out, started clicking,
- 4:14and then that's where the Ravens defense just
- 4:15got tired, couldn't keep up. Well, for sure.
- 4:19All of that is 100 % true. For me, it was when
- 4:22they went for it on that fourth down in Bengal
- 4:25territory instead of taking the hopefully easy
- 4:27three, right? But loop has been kind of up and
- 4:30down, I guess. So now that I say that, I mean,
- 4:32I guess I see why maybe. But I don't know. I
- 4:37think for me, I would take that. Easy hindsight,
- 4:39right, of course. Sure. But I think I take that
- 4:41three, and now you're in the lead, whereas the
- 4:44Bengals drive down the field there and then never
- 4:46look back. So now that defense is playing with
- 4:49the lead, which then turned them up seemingly
- 4:51another notch. Like you said, now they're passing
- 4:54the ball, too, which is not necessarily Ravens'
- 4:57strength. But, man, how about Zay Flowers, though?
- 5:00I mean, some of the best footwork in the league,
- 5:03right? Yeah, continues to look really great.
- 5:05uh, super fast, quick cuts. Uh, he's hard to
- 5:08keep covered. Um, and we were, we were kind of
- 5:12talking about this before, before we started
- 5:14recording. Um, I think he should be in the conversation
- 5:18as like a top five wide receiver in the league
- 5:20right now. Yeah. Um, he's, he's in 10 for sure,
- 5:24but I think you could probably make some cases
- 5:27or have an argument for him being a top five
- 5:29wide receiver right now. And they already, they
- 5:31re negotiated his contract at the beginning of
- 5:34the year. So he's tied up for a few more years.
- 5:36So we're surprisingly set or in a good position
- 5:40with a wide receiver, which is out of the ordinary
- 5:44for Baltimore Ravens fans. Yeah. He's giving
- 5:47me a lot of, uh, Tyreek Hill vibes of, uh, He
- 5:51went back and Casey, you know, just that multi
- 5:55-tool that you can use. I mean, that was a tale
- 5:58of two halves, what he said in the opener. Since
- 6:02he got the ball to start the half, they went
- 6:04down and scored. He goes in with a nice catch
- 6:06in the corner. Then the following kickoff. The
- 6:10special teams for the Bengals came and put a
- 6:12smack on that. That wasn't going to change the
- 6:15sideline vibes. They got a quick three and out,
- 6:17really. They went back down and scored again.
- 6:20And then that's where Baltimore started getting
- 6:22pass happy. They started first down throwing.
- 6:25They completed one. And then the next first down,
- 6:27they pass, pass. And then also in that fourth
- 6:31down that you were talking about, that was a
- 6:32fourth and two. That was another scenario. Why
- 6:34is Derrick Henry not even on the field for that
- 6:38play? of that play action they ran on that mesh
- 6:41route wasn't even there so like that this that
- 6:46offensive coordinator right now in baltimore
- 6:48he just gets a little confusing in the second
- 6:51half like that where you have a 13 -0 lead yeah
- 6:53they scored in the opening drive but that's where
- 6:56you get back to you know let's go back to big
- 6:58personnel and just pound the ball And they got
- 7:00away from it. And then Cincinnati just got hot.
- 7:05That was the difference of how that game flipped
- 7:07really quick in that first eight minutes of the
- 7:09third quarter. So you mentioned Cincinnati getting
- 7:11hot. They won in Miami. Was it in Miami? Yeah,
- 7:14it was. It was in Miami last week. They have
- 7:16now won in Baltimore. They now have three straight
- 7:20home games against the Titans, the Falcons, and
- 7:22the Steelers, all potentially winnable games
- 7:24for the Bengals. Talk about getting hot. This
- 7:27could be that time. Excuse me. Jesus, I don't
- 7:30know where that came from. But that could be
- 7:32that time for the Bengals right now. Yeah, Bengals
- 7:35is kind of the team I have my eye on, especially
- 7:37that defense playing. I mean, that's a different
- 7:39Bengals defense than we're all used to in the
- 7:41past. So, like I say, as fans out there, if you're
- 7:44not watching Bengals football, their defense
- 7:47is not the Bengals defense of the past. That's
- 7:50facts. And then we'll get our takes on the Ravens.
- 7:55They play the Bills next week, and we can talk
- 7:57about what the Ravens have ahead of them. But
- 7:59let's move on here to our second game. Don't
- 8:02forget to check that other episode out, by the
- 8:03way. That'll be our Week 8 Preview and Picks
- 8:06episode. Let's see here. Game 2. Yes, of course.
- 8:12It's cold, baby. Vikes getting the win here.
- 8:14Colts traveling to Minnesota, but losing 10 -16.
- 8:19Vikings winning 16 -10, however you want to look
- 8:21at it. In Minnesota, we choose to look at it
- 8:2316 -10, 6 -0, 3 -0 at home, 6 -0 overall. Let's
- 8:28go to the Bulls. I mean, every time you stack
- 8:31a win in the NFL, you take them every time. I
- 8:34mean, have they been beautiful? No. Are you concerned?
- 8:39I mean, you always want to be concerned when
- 8:41you start to get like next week when you play
- 8:43the Lions and be concerned if we get in a track
- 8:45meet. I mean, that's always the biggest concern
- 8:48where that offense can keep up with a scenario
- 8:50where the defense Indy was a perfect example
- 8:53of team that they did it kind of expose the Vikings
- 8:55defense. What you need to do if you can establish
- 8:58a little bit of running game and then play action
- 9:00quick or outs and stuff on that disguise defense.
- 9:04But then also towards the fourth quarter, I mean,
- 9:06Flores got him into the third and longs. It's
- 9:08that, you know, playing the sticks scenario.
- 9:11And that's where all those – he saves a bunch
- 9:14of stuff. I saw a really interesting thing on
- 9:18the athletic thing about just, like, how the
- 9:20– like, the NFL is – like, when they decided
- 9:23that rushing four is the norm. And I feel like
- 9:27that's where Flores has kind of developed a whole
- 9:30different concept of defense. I'm kind of stealing
- 9:33this, but I totally agree with it. It's just
- 9:35like, why isn't just rushing five the norm? You
- 9:39know, and then you can start to see now the NFL
- 9:41is a very copycat league. And you're seeing a
- 9:44lot more, especially on third downs, a lot of
- 9:47defensive coordinators showing that front. So
- 9:50is it just rushing four versus five? Is that
- 9:54just the new norm? So we're looking at this blitz
- 9:58rate at 85. Well, I don't think Flores is really
- 10:01looking at it as he's blitzing. He's just bringing
- 10:04five. It's really kind of like the 85 bears.
- 10:08It is. Where he's just like, we're going to put
- 10:11five on the line, and then we're going to go
- 10:12light in the back, and then we're going to beat
- 10:15you here. Yeah. And then we know your tendencies,
- 10:18so we're going to drop in those little zones
- 10:20where it makes your first look very difficult.
- 10:23Yep. And they're doing that really. I mean, I'm
- 10:26going to give it out to Blake Cashman. The dude
- 10:28played probably the best career probably game
- 10:32stat line for sure. I mean, so, Blake, dude,
- 10:35you balled out this week, you know. Yeah, two
- 10:39sacks to it, TFLs. And then on the offensive
- 10:41side, yeah, I always feel it's just not. one
- 10:47person that makes this mistake it's just a collective
- 10:49people one guy offsides here another guy makes
- 10:53a hold here guy misses a block here jennings
- 10:57you know and that he had that opportunity to
- 10:59that one -handed catch i'm like oh did you see
- 11:01jetta's reaction to that no right after that
- 11:05play he like double fists i've never seen him
- 11:07do this he like double fisted at the sky like
- 11:10I had never seen that before. I mean, I assume
- 11:13that room wants to see him catch one. I was just
- 11:16surprised to even hear Jennings' name called.
- 11:19Yeah. I mean, he was targeted, actually. At least
- 11:24it felt like it. What's the official target?
- 11:26I think we're trying to get him the ball. It
- 11:27felt like it was more than that. It was just
- 11:29like it just... At the beginning of the season,
- 11:31everyone was hyped. It's like, all right, we've
- 11:33got a third good wide receiver. He's just been
- 11:37absolutely quiet. They've schemed plays at Washington,
- 11:43although 22. Kyler just missed him a ton. And
- 11:46then it was actually the exact same play that
- 11:49he missed him three weeks ago. They ran on this
- 11:52last week where he tried a one -hand catch. It
- 11:54was the exact same play. Double mesh cross route.
- 11:59They fed it to him, and timing's off. It was
- 12:03nice to see Jordan Mason back this week for the
- 12:06legs. Big difference. And with Aaron Jones' knee
- 12:09kind of re -aggravated again, something he's
- 12:12kind of been dealing with for a hot minute now.
- 12:14Again, sparking some of those Minnesota trade
- 12:17rumors of somebody they may or may not bring
- 12:19in, and it was the guy they played against, JT,
- 12:22going off for 95 yards. Yeah, he had that long
- 12:25one at the beginning, and that was pretty much...
- 12:27For the most part, it really, if you take away
- 12:29that 38, they really kind of had him. 3 .3. Yeah,
- 12:32they had him under wraps for most of the game.
- 12:34And I think that really hats off to Flores because
- 12:38in just getting the team to be like, this is
- 12:41the guy that we have to stop. Because initially
- 12:44when he busted that long one for the touchdown,
- 12:46I'm like, oh, boy, this is going to be a long
- 12:47day for the Vikings. But Flores. That was Theo
- 12:51Jackson on that play that made a horrible decision.
- 12:56Okay. Thank you. You're giving me nothing. You're
- 12:59just riding high right now. I'm not, actually.
- 13:03I'm not. I'm very concerned about next week.
- 13:04But we'll find out more about that in our week
- 13:068. All right. Yeah, we'll talk about it. Hey,
- 13:08we got out of it 6 -0. Yeah, yeah. The Vikings
- 13:10did. Only undefeated team in the NFL now. We
- 13:13are. That is true. That is true. I do want to
- 13:15say, though. We're in that yellow jersey again.
- 13:17There it is. A tour de NFL. I was really impressed
- 13:20with that Colts defensive line, though. They
- 13:22did play really well all game. And really were
- 13:25shredding the O -line of the Vikings, which.
- 13:27Had a healthy Derrissaw and O 'Neal and whatnot.
- 13:30But O 'Neal, man, early in the game, he was just
- 13:32getting absolutely worked. So it was good to
- 13:34see him kind of settle in later. But, man, it
- 13:36was not looking great to start with. Whoa, you
- 13:41got something? I was just going to say, are you
- 13:42going to give an assist to the announcers for
- 13:44Jinx and the Colts kicker? No. Because they were
- 13:47talking, like, prior to his first miss, they
- 13:50were talking about how he hadn't, like, missed
- 13:51a field goal. Perfect. Thank you. Thank you.
- 13:53Like, what, 25 -some -odd attempts like that?
- 13:56And then all of a sudden, he's just like, boop.
- 13:58Right on. I like it. Right on. Thank you, whoever
- 14:01that was. Colts go to Jaguars next week. I think
- 14:04that was Ian Eagle was doing play -by -play.
- 14:08Who was the color? I can't remember. He's not
- 14:12a guy that I'm familiar with. I'm like, who is
- 14:15that voice? And then I always forget. He made
- 14:16one comment. I'm like, what? Colts travel to
- 14:20Jacksonville next week. Thoughts before we move
- 14:22on? They need to win or there's a fire sale.
- 14:25Yeah, for sure. And then Jacksonville's coming
- 14:28off of a bye, too, so that's going to be a tough
- 14:30one for the Colts to try and pull together. Right
- 14:34on. Yeah, they got to win. Right on. We'll talk
- 14:37about the Vikes later, of course, in our Week
- 14:398 preview and picks episode. Picking on our parade
- 14:41squad. What's that? Our parade squad. Settle
- 14:44down there. Let's move on to our game three.
- 14:47There it is. You know what I mean? Packers traveling
- 14:51to Detroit, the Motor City Kitties. And they
- 14:55end up getting the win. 20 -17 after the Packers
- 14:59continued to give them multiple opportunities
- 15:01to do so. No, the refs did that. Hold on. Let's
- 15:04be honest. Packers are just getting it without
- 15:09the lube. Yeah. And a big drop pass for a touchdown
- 15:14late in the game. True. You're a guy that shouldn't
- 15:18be playing in the league. continue to say they
- 15:21have the packers have to play better than the
- 15:23refs ref but there were like three calls the
- 15:25two roughing the passers and then there was an
- 15:27intentional grounding call that just kind of
- 15:29got like overloading was horrible which that
- 15:32was bad the one with tucker craft yeah yeah where's
- 15:35the the assist from the sky cam that just goes
- 15:40dude you were standing next to craft the guy
- 15:44that threw the flag was standing next to him
- 15:46like come on meow Are they trying to argue he
- 15:50wasn't outside the pocket? No. That doesn't matter,
- 15:56though, if it's in his vicinity. Yeah, if he's
- 15:58inside the pocket and he gets past the line of
- 16:00scrimmage and then there's still a receiver in
- 16:02the area, that's not grounding. I think we need
- 16:05to do a redraft for the refs this year. A little
- 16:07redraft? Honestly, NFL, this is probably the
- 16:11worst I've seen in a while. And I thought, or
- 16:14it's my understanding, that that's what the...
- 16:17Sky Judge or whatever you want to call it is
- 16:20there for to help pick up those kinds of flags.
- 16:24No, that wasn't rough. That two -hand touch push,
- 16:28that wasn't roughing the passer. From Roberto,
- 16:32redraft to the refs because he's watched a lot
- 16:35of football. I think everybody, every fan base
- 16:39would agree with me. Even as a Vikings fan, the
- 16:43Packers in that game just... What? The Packers
- 16:48have had eight roughing the passer penalties
- 16:50called against them so far this season. The next
- 16:53highest team, the next highest amount by a team
- 16:56is four. I don't know. They need to change that
- 17:02whole out -of -the -pocket throwing. There's
- 17:06got to be someone available. A three -yard buffer.
- 17:11They're usually really generous about any area.
- 17:15They are. They're extra generous. Which made
- 17:17that one even, yeah. But either way, Lions squeaked
- 17:21it out. Packers had an opportunity to still win
- 17:24that game. Like you said, you know. ankle bracelet,
- 17:27dropped one in the corner, and then... Oh, my
- 17:31God. And then even after roughing the passer,
- 17:34the next play, Jacobs ran for 15 yards and got
- 17:37him into field goal range. But also missed field
- 17:39goal early on. Or Gibbs, not Jacobs. Gibbs, yeah.
- 17:41Missed field goal early on for the Packers, then
- 17:44going for it on fourth down as well when they
- 17:46could have elected to tie the game potentially
- 17:48before half. And then Detroit, like, fumbled.
- 17:51Well, yeah, they had the two fumbles, like, to
- 17:53bookend the half. They could have potentially,
- 17:56well... It could have had six or even 14 points.
- 17:59This game was a lot closer than it needed to
- 18:01be or than it should have been. 100%. But Packers
- 18:06fall in the four and three lines, move into four
- 18:09and two. So technically above the old pack. Do
- 18:12we cover either? I don't think we cover either
- 18:14one of them. Oh, yeah, the lines, of course.
- 18:15So we'll talk about the Packers quick. Let's
- 18:17see. Who do they got next? Bing bong. They got
- 18:23the Panthers at home at Lambeau. Panthers just
- 18:26got shellacked, though, by the Buccaneers. They
- 18:30got punched in the mouth by a Buccaneer. And
- 18:32it's not going to get any easier traveling to
- 18:34Lambeau, and it's starting to get a little chilly
- 18:36up here in the old Midwestern parts here. I like
- 18:40it. So right on. Real quick, real quick after
- 18:44that, they go at Patriots on the Vikes again.
- 18:47So tough sledding for the Packers right now,
- 18:49but, hey, if they can pull off a couple of these.
- 18:52They are right back in it. Game four for us.
- 18:57Still no word on Parsons, though, right? It was
- 18:59just last night. Sorry. No, you're good. You're
- 19:02good. No, nothing on him. You know what? Well,
- 19:06we'll look it up. We'll talk about it. Yeah,
- 19:08that's right. Chiefs traveling to Seattle to
- 19:13play the Sea Chickens. They shouldn't have even
- 19:15traveled. Oh, geez. Wow. You're very disappointed.
- 19:18Brutal. I mean. You're very disappointed in the
- 19:20way the Chiefs played. I actually am really impressed
- 19:23with how the Seachickens played. Absolutely.
- 19:26The Seattle defense we knew was going to be good,
- 19:30but we didn't. I picked the Seahawks. Did you
- 19:32pick the Seahawks? No, I didn't. I picked the
- 19:34Chiefs. Why? I thought Kenneth Walker III was
- 19:37going to be like, the revenge game, I'm going
- 19:39to show you. And Mike McDonald had that defense
- 19:42being like, we're going to stop Kenneth, and
- 19:44we're not going to let any of that happen. If
- 19:48Mahomes beats us, Mahomes beats us, but we're
- 19:50not going to let Kenneth. Neither one of those
- 19:52guys beat them. No. Mahomes just got lit up time
- 19:57and time again. That fumble when he got hit from
- 19:59behind. Like Christmas tree ready. Yeah. But
- 20:03then he got back up again. Oh, did he? I guess.
- 20:06Twice? He does, Chris. Well, I mean, if you want
- 20:13to do comparisons, he at least got up and tried
- 20:16to get the fumble on Cam Newton. He did. Super
- 20:20Bowl cam? He recovered it, yeah. I'm still confused
- 20:22on how he got it, though, because he was so late
- 20:24to that last pile. I know. But Mahomes ends up
- 20:27with it. Like, what? Must have got his little...
- 20:29Small little man -child hands and they have that
- 20:33little zombie out of there. I don't know. Sorry.
- 20:35Did you say small hands? I don't know. I don't
- 20:40know. Can't be smaller than Kenny Pickens. Can't
- 20:42confirm. Yeah. Your boy went 4 -0, by the way,
- 20:46this week because I picked the Seatrick. That's
- 20:48right. That's the first 4 -0 for your boy this
- 20:50week. Kevin, did you listen to Smelty and put
- 20:54money on it? No, he did not because he saw all
- 20:56the other weeks and he was like, hell no. Everybody
- 20:59else went 3 -1. I went 4 -0. No, you did not.
- 21:06In his heart, he did. Well, okay. Well, in my
- 21:10heart, the Vikings have already won a Super Bowl.
- 21:12I wake up every day and that's not the freaking
- 21:14case. It doesn't matter. It doesn't matter. It
- 21:16doesn't matter. Anyway. Anyway. Yes. Chiefs Seattle.
- 21:21Yeah, whatever. Chiefs finally took a loss. I
- 21:25mean. Yeah. I mean, Seahawks set the edge. They
- 21:27weren't going to let that outside run zone go.
- 21:30And then they funneled it all back in. And they
- 21:33shut down the game. And you can see the loss
- 21:35with Rice and Thornton being gone. They can't
- 21:39stretch the field as much. JSN really worked
- 21:42the number one draft pick for the Chief Delaney.
- 21:45I mean, Delaney had blanket coverage on him.
- 21:49Sam was throwing some dimes on that, you know.
- 21:51And Spag wasn't – they were hardly getting to
- 21:56Sam at all. No, yeah. There was, like, no pressure
- 21:59on Sam. Sam was getting rid of the ball quick.
- 22:01Yeah. In which he was really effective last year.
- 22:04And this year he's been holding on a little bit
- 22:06longer with the ball and not playing like he
- 22:09did last year. You see Seattle play this game,
- 22:13and that's how they made it to the Super Bowl.
- 22:15They look really scary. I mean, that's the team
- 22:19that won the Super Bowl that you saw play against
- 22:21the Chiefs this last weekend. That's right. You
- 22:27mentioned the Chiefs passing. The receivers are
- 22:30down, missing some targets out there. Is there
- 22:33an outside chance? We heard him say he wants
- 22:36to go to a cold -weather team, that we see a
- 22:39return of Tyreek Hill. part of a Tyreek Hill
- 22:42would you even see after an injury like that?
- 22:45I'm not sure. I imagine he wouldn't return if
- 22:48he can't go. I'll ask the question to you. What
- 22:51do you think he's got left in the tank? He could
- 22:53show it to the Chiefs and what you'd want to
- 22:55see. I would hope that he could still be some
- 22:59sort of downhill threat, but you'd imagine some
- 23:01of that speed's going to be gone. I'd be curious
- 23:04to know if any of the off -the -field legal stuff
- 23:12is going to come back, and the commissioner's
- 23:14going to be like, well, we're still going to
- 23:15have to decide. Yeah, we don't want to do that
- 23:18with that. Yeah. So it's like, if you do, how
- 23:21many games are you going to get them for? So,
- 23:24okay, so let's drop the Tyreek Hill thing. Are
- 23:27the Chiefs trying to make a move before the trade
- 23:30deadline then to try to acquire another pass
- 23:32catcher here? I think they have to. I mean, that's
- 23:36where I guess the Vikings have always leveraged,
- 23:38if you wanted to, Joe Andreans or even, I mean,
- 23:40Addison. Well, my ask is kind of high on Addison.
- 23:44Well, you'd ask for the whole kit and caboodle
- 23:49if you were giving up Addison. How much are you
- 23:51asking for for Addison? One. For sure. Pass.
- 23:55Yeah, but desperate teams are desperate managers.
- 23:57You know, like sauce. Sauce. How about as soon
- 24:03as Kirk will change, get traded back. I heard
- 24:05on my way here the Jets. Wilson. Yeah, Gary Wilson.
- 24:12Yeah, he is. I'm happy. There's a handful of
- 24:16receivers you could probably pick through a couple
- 24:17teams around the down. Right. Let's table that.
- 24:22Let's table that for the next episode where we
- 24:24will talk about a little bit more of that because
- 24:26now we're starting to get into it, which is great.
- 24:28Getting into the next episode? Yeah, getting
- 24:30into the next episode, which, by the way, is
- 24:32our tent talk. Oh, Rob! Oh, God, my arm hurts.
- 24:40God, I'm getting old. I don't know. It's just
- 24:42sore. Am I going to have to give you a massage?
- 24:45All right. No. Anyway, that will end our week
- 24:52seven recap episode here for Gridiron Updates.
- 24:57Roberto, thanks for being here. Jake, yep. Thanks
