- 0:08Speaker 1: What is up? My loves It is La lat Kent's
- 0:11Speaker 1: with Randall and we are back for the third week
- 0:15Speaker 1: in a row.
- 0:17Speaker 2: Yes, of our new contract.
- 0:19Speaker 3: We have a new one year, healthy and vibrant contract,
- 0:23Speaker 3: brought to you by less Wood One.
- 0:25Speaker 1: I love it so since the last time we did
- 0:30Speaker 1: this thing, I was waiting to see where I would
- 0:33Speaker 1: place with my book. Yes, so I'm not a New
- 0:40Speaker 1: York Times best selling author yet.
- 0:43Speaker 3: Well, I want to add that the first week your
- 0:46Speaker 3: first week, and a lot of people get on the
- 0:47Speaker 3: second and third week.
- 0:48Speaker 1: So right, which I wish I would have known that,
- 0:50Speaker 1: because I definitely wouldn't have put so much pressure on myself.
- 0:54Speaker 1: You know, I would have been like, oh, fuck it
- 0:56Speaker 1: if I don't make it the first week, bucket. But
- 1:00Speaker 1: I had no idea. Yeah, so I had no idea.
- 1:04Speaker 1: So I just thought like, I didn't make it, and
- 1:06Speaker 1: then everyone was like, well I didn't make it the
- 1:07Speaker 1: first week either. The second week. I was like, what
- 1:10Speaker 1: the fuck did you just say? There's a second week?
- 1:13Speaker 1: They're like, yeah, there's actually a month that you could
- 1:16Speaker 1: go without making it and then make it. So I am, however,
- 1:20Speaker 1: a national best selling author. So we we made one
- 1:26Speaker 1: of the lists. I think there's like a million in
- 1:28Speaker 1: one list, but I made like a good one. So
- 1:31Speaker 1: that's great.
- 1:35Speaker 2: You're welcome.
- 1:35Speaker 1: Congratulations, thank you, So I feel great about it. I'm
- 1:39Speaker 1: still promoting the book. If you have not gone out
- 1:42Speaker 1: to purchase your copy or order it online? Whoa what?
- 1:49Speaker 2: Where?
- 1:49Speaker 3: Can wait?
- 1:52Speaker 1: I'm supposed to have a podcast, and I'll promote my
- 1:54Speaker 1: own shit.
- 1:55Speaker 2: That's the all reason we have a podcast.
- 1:57Speaker 1: So why are you laughing?
- 1:58Speaker 2: That's funny.
- 1:58Speaker 1: God, you're such a punk, you know what.
- 2:00Speaker 2: I'm a punky right.
- 2:01Speaker 1: Now, back to me. If you have not ordered your
- 2:06Speaker 1: copy or gone out to purchase your copy of my book,
- 2:10Speaker 1: give them laalat. Make sure you fucking do that.
- 2:15Speaker 2: I'm glad we got that out of the way.
- 2:16Speaker 1: Yeah all right, all right.
- 2:18Speaker 2: Well first I just want to add and I.
- 2:20Speaker 1: No clearing your throat on the mic. I'm begging you,
- 2:23Speaker 1: ow Randall.
- 2:26Speaker 2: Everywhere I go to him, everywhere I go. I have rules.
- 2:29Speaker 3: When I walk in the bathroom, I have to pick
- 2:31Speaker 3: up the towels that I drop on the floor. When
- 2:33Speaker 3: I come to the office where we are here in
- 2:35Speaker 3: our podcast studio, I can't clear my throat.
- 2:37Speaker 2: Next, she's gonna tell me, I cannot breathe, don't say it.
- 2:41Speaker 2: Don't say it, La la la la, bite your tongue.
- 2:44Speaker 3: All right, listen, I want to I was gonna say
- 2:46Speaker 3: something nice and then you just told me basically stop breathing.
- 2:48Speaker 2: You smiled when I said that.
- 2:49Speaker 1: What I wanted to say want the other day, this
- 2:52Speaker 1: was really funny. I was so proud of myself. He
- 2:55Speaker 1: was like coming for me, right or no, I was
- 2:58Speaker 1: coming for him.
- 3:00Speaker 2: Hold on, hold on, let's start that story over.
- 3:03Speaker 1: I knew something sounded wrong about that. I was for him.
- 3:07Speaker 1: I was telling him what to do, as per usual.
- 3:11Speaker 1: I mean, he looks at me. He's like, you think
- 3:12Speaker 1: that if I like rammed my head into that wall
- 3:15Speaker 1: hard enough, like it may knock me out to like
- 3:18Speaker 1: the point of no return. I was like, we can
- 3:20Speaker 1: only hope. We can only fucking hope. Why didn't you
- 3:24Speaker 1: give it a try?
- 3:25Speaker 3: People, the behind the scenes romanticism going on.
- 3:29Speaker 1: I talked about it today. I was like, Randall and
- 3:31Speaker 1: I bicker often, like we never have. We rarely have
- 3:35Speaker 1: huge explosive, like game changing argument. But it's a constant bicker.
- 3:41Speaker 1: But at least our rugs are flat. There's nothing piling
- 3:44Speaker 1: up under there, but you.
- 3:45Speaker 3: Know, yeah, Okay, Well, I'm gonna try to get this
- 3:48Speaker 3: compliment out now. After all that I was trying to
- 3:51Speaker 3: say to you that I know you put a lot
- 3:53Speaker 3: of attention into making certain lists, and what I wanted
- 3:57Speaker 3: to say to you, and I've said it to you before,
- 3:59Speaker 3: is that you're thirty years old and you have a
- 4:03Speaker 3: top selling national bestseller book. And I think that in
- 4:07Speaker 3: itself is a win just writing the book on top
- 4:10Speaker 3: of making even that accolade. And I think sometimes you
- 4:12Speaker 3: don't give yourself the credit. So I do hope going
- 4:15Speaker 3: forward behind your to yourself, because I think it's a
- 4:17Speaker 3: huge accolade to have a book. There's many people, including
- 4:21Speaker 3: myself and who I consider I've done some pretty cool
- 4:24Speaker 3: things in life that doesn't have a book.
- 4:26Speaker 2: So bravo, and my hat's off to you.
- 4:28Speaker 1: Thank you, baby, I appreciate that. I'm very proud. Definitely.
- 4:32Speaker 3: Okay, so pivoting, we're pivoting, pivoting, Let's talk about what
- 4:40Speaker 3: is going on in the world today, in the tea world,
- 4:45Speaker 3: not our real life world.
- 4:48Speaker 2: In the lala.
- 4:49Speaker 3: Is there any tea we should know about that your
- 4:51Speaker 3: fans definitely like to know about and Tim and I
- 4:53Speaker 3: are too old to know about.
- 4:55Speaker 1: Well, today it was just announced that Bravo Con is
- 4:59Speaker 1: coming bet on October twenty twenty one. Wow is on
- 5:05Speaker 1: and poppin' And for those of you who missed out
- 5:08Speaker 1: on Bravocon in twenty nineteen, you must not it was lit.
- 5:13Speaker 3: And let me say this, I didn't know what the
- 5:15Speaker 3: fuck Bravo Con was. I know that I was in
- 5:18Speaker 3: the middle of promoting Irishmen and I remember being in
- 5:20Speaker 3: Santa Barbara and I came back to La Laala. I
- 5:22Speaker 3: was like, you must come support me, be there for me.
- 5:25Speaker 3: I'm like, of course, bape. So I went to the premiere,
- 5:27Speaker 3: got on a plane, went to Bravo Kon arrived not
- 5:30Speaker 3: knowing and I'm being really serious, not knowing what I
- 5:33Speaker 3: was walking into. I thought it was like maybe a
- 5:34Speaker 3: little convention that she goes up on the stage and says, hi,
- 5:37Speaker 3: I'm Lala and a few people show up.
- 5:39Speaker 2: Over ten thousand people attended.
- 5:42Speaker 1: I can't remember an exact number. That may be exaggerated.
- 5:45Speaker 2: Post and deadline. That's all I was.
- 5:47Speaker 1: Okay, well, there were over over.
- 5:49Speaker 3: Ten thousand, like I think total through the whole conference.
- 5:52Speaker 3: By the way, first year this year, probably double. But
- 5:55Speaker 3: what tim the craziest thing is And this is when
- 5:57Speaker 3: I knew, Wow, this is the these reality shows, this network, Bravo,
- 6:02Speaker 3: these all these shows. You know they're big and you
- 6:04Speaker 3: know they're like you see the attention people give them,
- 6:06Speaker 3: but you don't really know unless you kind of see,
- 6:10Speaker 3: like you see the fans and the attention, these different
- 6:13Speaker 3: realities start to get I got out of a taxi
- 6:16Speaker 3: to pull up to meet you at that theater and
- 6:18Speaker 3: there was a line of maybe three hundred people like
- 6:21Speaker 3: waiting to get into this eight hundred seed theater.
- 6:23Speaker 2: You're crazy.
- 6:24Speaker 3: And here's here's the best part of it all. I
- 6:26Speaker 3: swear to you, I went to the stage door. While
- 6:28Speaker 3: I go to the stage store or somebody will meet you.
- 6:30Speaker 3: They'll have a pass for you to go in. So
- 6:33Speaker 3: I get out of the taxi. There's three hundred people
- 6:35Speaker 3: they're waiting to see the the cast go up on stage.
- 6:39Speaker 2: I get out of there, I swear to you, and
- 6:40Speaker 2: I was I hadn't even appeared on your show at
- 6:42Speaker 2: this point.
- 6:42Speaker 3: I don't think right, no, no, no, so I was
- 6:45Speaker 3: just I was just fiance, you know, just like with
- 6:48Speaker 3: with you know, anyway, get out of the taxi and
- 6:51Speaker 3: they are screaming, And at first I'm like this, Where's
- 6:54Speaker 3: where's the the And they're screaming my name Lot Randall,
- 6:58Speaker 3: Randall Randall, and I go, what the fuck's going on?
- 7:01Speaker 3: Like these people know who I am. I'm fucking the
- 7:04Speaker 3: boy toy. It was very What did I say to you?
- 7:06Speaker 3: I was very impressed. I could not believe the I mean,
- 7:09Speaker 3: the fanaticism of your show is pretty.
- 7:11Speaker 1: So it's like it's a Bravo cult, Like people are obsessed.
- 7:14Speaker 1: And I get it because I've been watching Bravo for years, like.
- 7:17Speaker 2: Since before vanderbumb oh.
- 7:20Speaker 1: Since like oh see Housewives came out and they've been
- 7:22Speaker 1: on for like fifteen sixteen years, so it's only grown
- 7:27Speaker 1: since then. Obviously, you know, we have Bravo Con where
- 7:30Speaker 1: it's every Bravo celebrity that's ever graced.
- 7:34Speaker 2: The channel, I mean, below Deck, Housewives, all of them.
- 7:37Speaker 3: I mean, it was crazy, but the craziest part, like
- 7:39Speaker 3: I was with Bo at that time.
- 7:41Speaker 1: And Stacey's husband.
- 7:43Speaker 3: Right, and and Bo and I were in the audience.
- 7:45Speaker 3: We weren't participating obviously, and we were like there getting
- 7:49Speaker 3: drinks at the bar, right and we couldn't walk to him.
- 7:52Speaker 2: I'm swearty.
- 7:53Speaker 3: We couldn't want from the bar up to our seats
- 7:56Speaker 3: without I mean obviously they know him really well, but
- 7:59Speaker 3: I mean they knew me, which I was shocked.
- 8:02Speaker 2: So it just shows you.
- 8:03Speaker 3: That not only do they know the cast, the permanent cast,
- 8:06Speaker 3: but they know everything about each cast member and their
- 8:09Speaker 3: personal lives, which I just thought is shocking because I
- 8:13Speaker 3: don't think movie stars, you know, having head launch and
- 8:17Speaker 3: dinner with different, you know, people in our industry, it's
- 8:20Speaker 3: different the fanaticism. Your fanaticism is super intense and high level,
- 8:25Speaker 3: and they're passionate and they really love you guys.
- 8:28Speaker 1: Well, I think it's because they've watched us for so
- 8:30Speaker 1: long and you feel like, you know, like they feel
- 8:33Speaker 1: like they are friends, which you know, like they all
- 8:36Speaker 1: know us yea. You know, they've watched us go through
- 8:38Speaker 1: the highs and the lows. They've watched us get really drunk,
- 8:41Speaker 1: and then they've watched us like this season we'll be
- 8:43Speaker 1: having babies, so they really go through life with us.
- 8:46Speaker 1: It's pretty incredible. And I think Bravo Kon was the
- 8:49Speaker 1: first place where I always I've always known like I'm
- 8:51Speaker 1: a part of a show that people watch and are into.
- 8:56Speaker 1: But that was the first place where like people were
- 8:59Speaker 1: chanting give them and I was like, holy shit, this
- 9:02Speaker 1: is really cool. Like I used to think about these
- 9:05Speaker 1: moments when I was like sitting on the couch in Utah,
- 9:08Speaker 1: and now it was like an out of body experience.
- 9:11Speaker 1: So the fact that we get to go back after
- 9:13Speaker 1: coming off of a you know, lockdown in a worldwide pandemic,
- 9:16Speaker 1: that we're going back to have Bravocon.
- 9:18Speaker 2: Which is amazing.
- 9:19Speaker 3: It's going to be epic, and it's going to be
- 9:21Speaker 3: such a celebration of like fun and just partying and
- 9:25Speaker 3: just enjoying.
- 9:25Speaker 1: It'd be so much fun and litness. I'm gonna be let.
- 9:29Speaker 3: Off my ass, but I want to say, but I'll
- 9:31Speaker 3: drink for both of us. But I want to say, Tim,
- 9:33Speaker 3: the craziest end of Bravocon for me was the last night,
- 9:37Speaker 3: I guess the vander Pump Rules closing party, and we
- 9:41Speaker 3: were in the same theater and we were up on
- 9:42Speaker 3: this balcony and there were thousands of people there and
- 9:46Speaker 3: they were screaming for law, screaming for the rest of
- 9:48Speaker 3: the cast. It was it was just so amazing to
- 9:52Speaker 3: see the love that your show gets in all of
- 9:54Speaker 3: you as cast members.
- 9:55Speaker 2: It's pretty neat. So I'm making you go with me
- 9:58Speaker 2: this year to just watch the hype. It's just it's
- 10:01Speaker 2: really cool. Really, Tim's not going to pass up a
- 10:04Speaker 2: New York City trip.
- 10:06Speaker 1: No, And it's like full force, drink fast.
- 10:09Speaker 2: Yeah, Timmy, you'll fit right in. Yeah, I could.
- 10:12Speaker 4: I could see myself there.
- 10:15Speaker 1: It was like I could see myself having fun there. Yeah.
- 10:19Speaker 1: So on that note of talking about all things La
- 10:22Speaker 1: la and what's happening with me in my neck of
- 10:25Speaker 1: the woods, let's take a break.
- 10:28Speaker 2: We'll be back.
- 10:31Speaker 1: All right, We're back, bitches.
- 10:34Speaker 3: So why so I want to tell our austeners, our listeners, yeah,
- 10:38Speaker 3: that today is a special day, and I let you
- 10:40Speaker 3: introduce the guests. But I just want to set it up.
- 10:43Speaker 3: So we have not had a guess as our third
- 10:44Speaker 3: episode because we wanted to wait. We wanted our first
- 10:47Speaker 3: guest to be somebody that we both thought was representative
- 10:51Speaker 3: of just something that would be somebody I respect, somebody
- 10:55Speaker 3: you respect, Somebody that's cool, that's talented, that just embodies
- 10:59Speaker 3: like what our podcast.
- 11:00Speaker 2: We hope the.
- 11:01Speaker 3: Kind of talent we can bring to the table. Right
- 11:03Speaker 3: since you and I are not well, yours cool.
- 11:05Speaker 2: But I'm not.
- 11:05Speaker 1: I'm gonna say, Oh, I thought you were going to
- 11:07Speaker 1: say someone who's talented unlike us.
- 11:09Speaker 2: I was like, I didn't say that.
- 11:11Speaker 1: I thought you were going in that direction.
- 11:13Speaker 3: But the person that the person that we're bringing on
- 11:16Speaker 3: is by far not only a friend and a real friend.
- 11:18Speaker 3: And I just got to work with him on a
- 11:20Speaker 3: film I finished, and we're doing a bunch of other projects.
- 11:22Speaker 3: But he's also an incredible iconic musical performer and actor
- 11:28Speaker 3: and brand person like you, law, and I just think
- 11:32Speaker 3: that he's very special.
- 11:33Speaker 1: So am I a brand person?
- 11:35Speaker 2: You are?
- 11:35Speaker 1: I like that? All right?
- 11:37Speaker 2: Do you mean your brand person? You have like four companies?
- 11:39Speaker 1: I like that. I like being a brand person anyway.
- 11:42Speaker 1: We have Quavo as our cast today from the Migos, right,
- 11:51Speaker 1: and I have been obsessed with Migos and I love
- 11:56Speaker 1: Quavo as well, But Migos since they came out with
- 11:59Speaker 1: the song hand Some and Wealthy, I don't know if
- 12:01Speaker 1: you know that, I don't know.
- 12:03Speaker 5: It's bad Handsome and wealthy. This song is called Hans
- 12:06Speaker 5: and Wealthy. Yeah, so he wrote it for me, He
- 12:09Speaker 5: wrote it for you. Ship when he gets here, I'm
- 12:11Speaker 5: gonna tell Quevo thank you. And you must have wanted
- 12:14Speaker 5: to work with me in the movie business. So you
- 12:16Speaker 5: wrote me a song. Wow, let's hear it.
- 12:20Speaker 1: It's so good, you guys, and it takes me right
- 12:23Speaker 1: back to my Olympic apartment getting so fucked up before
- 12:26Speaker 1: I went out dressed like a skank, and it was
- 12:30Speaker 1: the best time.
- 12:30Speaker 3: We really have to go to those details Olympic apart.
- 12:33Speaker 3: By the way, I could have taken Olympic apartment with
- 12:34Speaker 3: a period. I didn't need the rest.
- 12:37Speaker 1: Have you heard this song?
- 12:38Speaker 2: R Well, he wrote it for me.
- 12:41Speaker 1: Hold on, it's so good. I can't. Yeah, I get
- 12:47Speaker 1: high feet of this song. You know it?
- 12:53Speaker 2: Or no, yeah, I've heard it. Oh it's good. But
- 12:59Speaker 2: I know that justin timber like one brother.
- 13:02Speaker 1: All right, you know that justin Timberlake.
- 13:04Speaker 2: Okay.
- 13:04Speaker 3: So what's great about Quevo is this is like the
- 13:08Speaker 3: Grammy nominated superstar sold endless amounts of albums, works with
- 13:13Speaker 3: every big artist in collaborating. So I'm really excited to
- 13:17Speaker 3: hear his story because his story of how the migos
- 13:19Speaker 3: came together for me is like kind of that rags
- 13:22Speaker 3: to riches story, you know, what I mean, like you
- 13:24Speaker 3: started in high school together. They were friends in high school,
- 13:27Speaker 3: the three of them, one of them is his cousin.
- 13:29Speaker 3: It's just it's such a family. We were broke our
- 13:32Speaker 3: other cousin took us from club to club for one
- 13:35Speaker 3: hundred bucks.
- 13:36Speaker 2: The night he told me.
- 13:37Speaker 3: That's amazing, I mean the whole thing, And I just
- 13:38Speaker 3: want him to share that with us because that's a
- 13:40Speaker 3: really special story because it doesn't happen like that for everybody.
- 13:43Speaker 3: And he was just so hungry, like you law, of
- 13:46Speaker 3: such a young age of myself to get in the
- 13:49Speaker 3: business and be successful, and here he is. So I'm
- 13:51Speaker 3: excited when we bring him on after the segment, you.
- 13:54Speaker 1: And me both. I want to know, like when he
- 13:58Speaker 1: was a young kid coming up, like what kind of
- 14:01Speaker 1: music was he listening to? Obviously he was big into
- 14:04Speaker 1: hip hop, but I want to know, like who was
- 14:06Speaker 1: your go to artist that you were just like, oh
- 14:08Speaker 1: my gosh, he's the reason why I have to make
- 14:11Speaker 1: this happen, and who he wanted to work with, because
- 14:14Speaker 1: a lot of these rappers you know that he probably
- 14:16Speaker 1: grew up listening to are still around and could you
- 14:19Speaker 1: imagine being like this young kid saying I want someone
- 14:24Speaker 1: like Drake, I want to work with him, and then
- 14:27Speaker 1: you're just fucking listening, like working with Drake, it's amazing.
- 14:30Speaker 2: Crazy, it's got to be amazing.
- 14:32Speaker 3: I think those are great questions, and I think, I
- 14:34Speaker 3: think that's got to be amazing. Here this young kid
- 14:36Speaker 3: in high school and you dream, you inspire it by
- 14:38Speaker 3: these artists, and then three, four or five years later
- 14:40Speaker 3: you're working with these artists.
- 14:42Speaker 1: It's very strange to me. And I'll tell you I
- 14:44Speaker 1: was doing while'n out. I think this was a couple
- 14:47Speaker 1: of years ago because it was before the pandemic, and
- 14:49Speaker 1: I did it with this kid, these two kids, Lil
- 14:54Speaker 1: TJ and another kid named Polo g Okay, and they're young,
- 14:58Speaker 1: and I just remember them performing and then you know,
- 15:02Speaker 1: a couple months later, they just blew the fuck up okay.
- 15:06Speaker 1: And it is incredible to see these young kids come
- 15:09Speaker 1: from places that are very different from where I come from,
- 15:12Speaker 1: and nothing stopped them from getting to where they are. Like,
- 15:16Speaker 1: it's very inspiring. So I'm a super hype to have
- 15:18Speaker 1: Quavo on.
- 15:19Speaker 2: I think it's I think it's amazing now, like.
- 15:22Speaker 1: Is he coming or like is he going to roll?
- 15:25Speaker 1: Up in the Rari soon Lambo.
- 15:28Speaker 2: Oh he might have too. I don't know. I don't know.
- 15:31Speaker 2: But but when I.
- 15:32Speaker 3: First met him the first time, and people don't know this,
- 15:34Speaker 3: he starred co starred in my Robert de Niro John
- 15:37Speaker 3: Alvivich movie that I'm editing right now, Colwahapian River. And
- 15:40Speaker 3: when I first met him in La he came to
- 15:42Speaker 3: the office and this just epic purple Lamborghini.
- 15:45Speaker 1: He's I think he had his own name on his car,
- 15:48Speaker 1: and I was like, that's everything that I want.
- 15:51Speaker 2: On the side.
- 15:52Speaker 1: That was so sick.
- 15:54Speaker 3: Yeah, he's he's uh, he's a cool guy. I have
- 15:57Speaker 3: to take some lessons.
- 15:59Speaker 1: Well, Randall told me the other day, he was like, Hey,
- 16:01Speaker 1: I'm in Miami and I'm about to not that I
- 16:04Speaker 1: didn't know he was in Miami. I knew Randa was
- 16:06Speaker 1: in my He even just call me and tell me
- 16:08Speaker 1: he was there. He was in Miami and he calls
- 16:10Speaker 1: me and he's like, Hey, I think I'm gonna go
- 16:12Speaker 1: have dinner with Quavo. Randall sends me a picture. I
- 16:15Speaker 1: call him immediately and was like, we have to get
- 16:19Speaker 1: you some swag. Bro, Like these.
- 16:21Speaker 2: Issues is very upset. She was very upset.
- 16:23Speaker 1: I was very upset by the way.
- 16:25Speaker 3: Quavo never said that my outfit's whack. He Quava thinks
- 16:28Speaker 3: I'm cool.
- 16:29Speaker 1: Well, I'm telling you, as your wife that you we
- 16:33Speaker 1: got to step your game.
- 16:34Speaker 2: Up, step it up. Yeah, okay, so that means shopping.
- 16:38Speaker 1: Yeah, we got to go shopping. And there are times
- 16:39Speaker 1: where he dresses like super well and I'm like, how
- 16:42Speaker 1: does this happen?
- 16:43Speaker 2: Why?
- 16:43Speaker 1: How is it such a hit or miss?
- 16:45Speaker 2: Because I don't give a fuck.
- 16:46Speaker 1: That's what it is.
- 16:47Speaker 2: That's what's also.
- 16:49Speaker 3: Remember most of my life, I'm either in the office
- 16:52Speaker 3: with my coworkers or I'm on a movie set with
- 16:55Speaker 3: one hundred and twenty other people who don't give a fuck.
- 16:57Speaker 2: By the way, and we're trying to make a film.
- 16:59Speaker 1: Whether you have the swag, you have the swag in
- 17:02Speaker 1: your DNA. That's why I fell for you, and you
- 17:07Speaker 1: know I had a baby with you because you have
- 17:08Speaker 1: swag from the core. We just got to get the
- 17:11Speaker 1: outside like more nice and tight because Randall's into just
- 17:15Speaker 1: function and not form. It's like, as long as it
- 17:19Speaker 1: covers my body parts, it works. You know, attention to
- 17:24Speaker 1: zero detail.
- 17:26Speaker 2: I don't care. Oh oh oh, How can we not
- 17:32Speaker 2: forget the latest tea?
- 17:34Speaker 1: How can what is it? What's the latest?
- 17:37Speaker 2: You serious?
- 17:39Speaker 3: James fucking Kennedy and Raquel are engaged.
- 17:42Speaker 1: I know, epic, epic.
- 17:44Speaker 2: We were there.
- 17:45Speaker 1: I know we were it was fun. I was there.
- 17:48Speaker 2: I was there too.
- 17:49Speaker 1: You weren't there.
- 17:50Speaker 2: I was there.
- 17:52Speaker 1: He wasn't there.
- 17:53Speaker 2: Why are you saying there?
- 17:54Speaker 1: Because you left and.
- 17:56Speaker 2: Go to dinner and I came back.
- 17:59Speaker 1: But he make it. He missed like the engagement, like
- 18:03Speaker 1: the big and everyone. I didn't know they were getting engaged,
- 18:06Speaker 1: but he knew. Yeah, but it's okay, it's okay.
- 18:08Speaker 3: We're not going to get into that. No, I had
- 18:10Speaker 3: to go to its dinner. But I'm gonna just say this.
- 18:12Speaker 3: I was there and then I wasn't there, and then
- 18:15Speaker 3: I came back and they were engaged.
- 18:16Speaker 1: He's so he's having the worst pomo. Did you see that?
- 18:19Speaker 1: He was like? I was there. It's like, no, you weren't.
- 18:23Speaker 2: I was there for the second fire works show, So
- 18:26Speaker 2: fuck off, James. I was there and you know I
- 18:29Speaker 2: was there.
- 18:30Speaker 1: Do you have a ring on your wedding finger?
- 18:34Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 18:35Speaker 1: Wow, Timbo, you see that I got that for him?
- 18:40Speaker 4: I see that now.
- 18:41Speaker 1: Yeah, I was like, this is so annoying that we
- 18:44Speaker 1: keep calling each other fiances, Like, we're so past that.
- 18:50Speaker 6: What are you then fiances? We're fiances with a ring
- 18:57Speaker 6: fiance plus No, she all me that.
- 19:00Speaker 3: We're not calling each other fiance anymore, calling my husband
- 19:03Speaker 3: I don't even share it any.
- 19:04Speaker 2: So we're calling each other their life.
- 19:05Speaker 1: We do everything that a husband and wife do, except
- 19:08Speaker 1: we have we don't have the paper that makes it
- 19:10Speaker 1: extremely difficult to walk away. Yeah, but which I think
- 19:15Speaker 1: is even bigger because it's like, wow, we like really
- 19:17Speaker 1: want to be together because we're fighting.
- 19:19Speaker 2: Our wedding got canceled. Here's the thing we have.
- 19:21Speaker 3: We have a lot of trauma from the three canceled weddings, uh,
- 19:25Speaker 3: the three sets of imitation traumatized, and we with the
- 19:29Speaker 3: fourteen different dates, with the different things with the different registries.
- 19:33Speaker 3: So we just want to get through the pandemic, let
- 19:35Speaker 3: life return back to what it will be hopefully in
- 19:37Speaker 3: twenty twenty two, and then we'll resume that movement. But
- 19:42Speaker 3: for now, like she said, we we have planned more
- 19:45Speaker 3: weddings la la night.
- 19:46Speaker 2: Then people will do an all lifetime.
- 19:49Speaker 1: It's so annoying.
- 19:50Speaker 3: I mean, we literally plan three weddings. We plan three
- 19:53Speaker 3: weddings to each other, the three times.
- 19:57Speaker 1: Yeah. The part that I'm most excited about that it
- 20:00Speaker 1: didn't happen in April is that now our baby is
- 20:04Speaker 1: going to be at the wedding and by the time
- 20:06Speaker 1: it happens, she's probably going to be walking and she
- 20:08Speaker 1: can walk down.
- 20:09Speaker 2: The she could be the flower girl.
- 20:12Speaker 1: Yeah, oh my gosh. So that's the silver lining. It's
- 20:17Speaker 1: a little baby, oh yes, and.
- 20:20Speaker 2: That's going to be really beautiful.
- 20:21Speaker 3: And second all, let's wrap up this segment because I
- 20:24Speaker 3: do want to bring up Ocean. I would like to
- 20:26Speaker 3: bring Ocean because you are eight weeks. We just had
- 20:29Speaker 3: the two month birthday for Ocean, yep. And I just
- 20:32Speaker 3: want to take my hat off and tip it to
- 20:34Speaker 3: you that you are a badass mother. You have crushed it.
- 20:38Speaker 3: You have been there every second. And listen, I know
- 20:42Speaker 3: all mothers are superheroes, all mothers are wonder woman. I'm
- 20:45Speaker 3: not taking away from any other mother out there, but
- 20:47Speaker 3: you're the mother of my child, right so you're my superwoman.
- 20:50Speaker 3: And I just want to tell you that I'm so
- 20:51Speaker 3: proud of the woman that you are and have always been.
- 20:54Speaker 3: But seeing you with Ocean holy shit, I mean you are,
- 20:59Speaker 3: I mean you changed. Diceer is like I mean like
- 21:03Speaker 3: like like Clark Kent goes into a superman like like.
- 21:05Speaker 3: I mean the I mean the baby bom And before
- 21:08Speaker 3: I can even like look, it's like new diaper, white people,
- 21:14Speaker 3: white paper.
- 21:17Speaker 2: I mean, it's unbelievable. It's unbelievable. I mean the swaddle
- 21:21Speaker 2: happens in second.
- 21:22Speaker 4: I never figured that out.
- 21:23Speaker 2: The swaddle. Listen, let me take that.
- 21:28Speaker 1: Intimidating No, not for you, not for you.
- 21:30Speaker 2: But I'll tell you something.
- 21:31Speaker 3: Even when she says, go get the swallow, I'm thinking, oh,
- 21:33Speaker 3: you know what, I'm gonna throw up that swaddle. I'm
- 21:35Speaker 3: gonna hit it this time with the wrap. I'm gonna
- 21:37Speaker 3: I'm gonna show her how I.
- 21:38Speaker 2: Do it this time swaddle.
- 21:40Speaker 3: And as I'm playing the baby down even start, she
- 21:43Speaker 3: looks over and she's so irritated that it's taken me
- 21:46Speaker 3: five minutes to even put one thing layer over that she.
- 21:50Speaker 1: There's a thing. He's great at all of it. But
- 21:51Speaker 1: I'm such control freak that even if it's a little
- 21:54Speaker 1: off the way I would do it, then it's like
- 21:58Speaker 1: the fuck out of here.
- 21:59Speaker 2: I'll take Yeah, she's very very controlling. But the thing.
- 22:03Speaker 3: But that's good because our daughter is swallowed at the
- 22:06Speaker 3: highest level ten out of ten.
- 22:07Speaker 1: She's killing the game. Just a little. Ocean one puts
- 22:10Speaker 1: me in check quite like baby. Oh, she like fucking
- 22:14Speaker 1: puts me in check with that scream. I'm telling you
- 22:17Speaker 1: what I've gone toes with some people. I've never gone
- 22:22Speaker 1: toes with someone quite like Ocean. Yeah, Ocean, she will
- 22:25Speaker 1: fuck your shit ups.
- 22:27Speaker 2: And Ocean's not happy. Everyone's not happy.
- 22:30Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 22:31Speaker 2: So our whole goal is.
- 22:32Speaker 3: Let's get Ocean really calm and smiling. Let's feed her,
- 22:35Speaker 3: and when we're done feeding her, let's just love her
- 22:38Speaker 3: till she.
- 22:38Speaker 1: Call yeah exactly, let's totally it is.
- 22:41Speaker 2: Yeah, but Ocean.
- 22:42Speaker 3: But Ocean now, now after two months, is slowly starting
- 22:46Speaker 3: to come out of the scream phase and she's really
- 22:48Speaker 3: starting to get a new routine, which is really nice.
- 22:51Speaker 1: Tim.
- 22:52Speaker 2: We took her swimming there, We took her swimming.
- 22:54Speaker 1: She hated that.
- 22:55Speaker 2: Because the pool is cold, but that's up. She rocks it.
- 22:57Speaker 1: She rocks it. Did either of your kids go through
- 23:00Speaker 1: a screaming phase?
- 23:02Speaker 4: Yeah, and then they got out of it, and now
- 23:04Speaker 4: one of them came back into.
- 23:06Speaker 1: Her Wait, which one.
- 23:07Speaker 4: Darcy Arcy Darcy instantaneously screams like if her shirt doesn't
- 23:13Speaker 4: feel right. Darcy Darcy is a Darcy the Diva.
- 23:18Speaker 2: Yeah, she's three.
- 23:20Speaker 4: She used to be the calmest child.
- 23:23Speaker 2: Darcy Darcy runs the show.
- 23:24Speaker 4: When she like up until she was about two, she
- 23:27Speaker 4: just you put her down to sleep at seven o'clock.
- 23:30Speaker 4: She wouldn't come out of bed until you got her
- 23:32Speaker 4: at eight in the morning. It was amazing. And then
- 23:35Speaker 4: she turned two and like a terrible too.
- 23:39Speaker 2: And she's still stuck.
- 23:41Speaker 4: I mean she's really sweet, but yeah, screaming.
- 23:44Speaker 3: I've watched your kids. Yeah, I babysited your kids an
- 23:48Speaker 3: entire night.
- 23:48Speaker 2: Yes, Lola and I both did. You had a.
- 23:51Speaker 3: Birthday and you and your wife, you know, you wanted
- 23:53Speaker 3: to surprise her and take her away, and and you
- 23:56Speaker 3: couldn't do it because you didn't have help that night.
- 23:59Speaker 2: And I said I would volunteer with Lawa. I volunteer
- 24:02Speaker 2: both of us, and then you drop the kids off.
- 24:05Speaker 3: And when you surprise your wife, she called us crying
- 24:07Speaker 3: that she couldn't believe that she was getting a date night.
- 24:08Speaker 2: Remember it's very nice.
- 24:10Speaker 1: I remember that. I love your kids though.
- 24:12Speaker 2: Yeah, they're sweet, very sweet.
- 24:14Speaker 1: Wow. So even though, can Darcy talk at three?
- 24:17Speaker 2: Sure?
- 24:18Speaker 1: So then do you ask her, why are you screaming
- 24:20Speaker 1: your head off?
- 24:20Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 24:21Speaker 4: And she's Her answer is always.
- 24:23Speaker 2: It's too tight.
- 24:24Speaker 1: It's too tight. I love little dog.
- 24:28Speaker 2: That's awesome.
- 24:30Speaker 1: Okay, so I can expect it to end and then
- 24:33Speaker 1: start back up.
- 24:33Speaker 2: Yeah, terrible.
- 24:34Speaker 3: I think Ocean's really starting to chill now, and it's
- 24:37Speaker 3: so fun seeing her smile and starting to really like
- 24:40Speaker 3: see us and all that, and it's really beautiful. And
- 24:42Speaker 3: I think that you know, we will have a year
- 24:44Speaker 3: and a half of peace and then you know, terrible too,
- 24:47Speaker 3: So we'll just have.
- 24:48Speaker 2: To get ready.
- 24:49Speaker 1: She's a diva, baby, she is a diva. But I
- 24:51Speaker 1: love her so much, Like even when she's screaming her
- 24:54Speaker 1: head off, I really really like, I've never in my life.
- 24:58Speaker 1: I'm like, You're just the cute thing I've ever seen.
- 25:02Speaker 2: I want to.
- 25:02Speaker 3: Finish this segment with saying something that I told you so,
- 25:05Speaker 3: and here it is to your audience. Lala told me
- 25:09Speaker 3: that she could never love a child like her dogs. Now,
- 25:13Speaker 3: Laala loves her dog, specifically Lily, because Lily gets all
- 25:17Speaker 3: the FAVORITESMLL.
- 25:18Speaker 1: Lily is the only one that I compared anyway.
- 25:20Speaker 3: I will finish this statement if you looked me in
- 25:23Speaker 3: the face many times and believed what you were saying.
- 25:25Speaker 3: I said, Lala, there's no version like a lot of
- 25:27Speaker 3: dog lovers tell me this. A lot of them before
- 25:29Speaker 3: they have even my sister. My sister loved her dog
- 25:32Speaker 3: like a child, and she has two kids now and
- 25:34Speaker 3: barely knows a dog's name anyway. Right, And you said
- 25:36Speaker 3: that to me about Lily and the second and this
- 25:39Speaker 3: is how great I want your audience to know this.
- 25:41Speaker 2: The Second.
- 25:44Speaker 3: Ocean came out within i'd say, fifteen seconds from cutting
- 25:48Speaker 3: the end of the court and handing it to you.
- 25:50Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 25:51Speaker 3: The first thing out of your mouth was I don't
- 25:53Speaker 3: think I could love anybody the way I love Ocean.
- 25:57Speaker 1: Actually, I know for a fact I could never love
- 26:01Speaker 1: anybody or anything as much as.
- 26:03Speaker 2: I love it.
- 26:04Speaker 3: And you and the other line after that you said,
- 26:05Speaker 3: which I don't think you remember, because you know it
- 26:07Speaker 3: was all intense and all that you said, my heart
- 26:10Speaker 3: has never been this.
- 26:11Speaker 1: Full, yes, ever? Yeah, And I turned into a sobbing mess.
- 26:15Speaker 1: But you know I've come to the I've come to
- 26:17Speaker 1: terms with I only know how to express emotion two ways,
- 26:21Speaker 1: screaming or sobbing.
- 26:23Speaker 2: Yeah, you know, you only have two gears.
- 26:25Speaker 1: Only two gears, And I'm okay with that. And I
- 26:27Speaker 1: think once I came to Grips with that and it
- 26:30Speaker 1: was like whatever, I felt much better about life. You know.
- 26:35Speaker 1: It's like, I'm sorry that I called you this name.
- 26:38Speaker 1: I can't guarantee I won't call you that again, though,
- 26:41Speaker 1: It's like it feels so freeing to be able to
- 26:43Speaker 1: say that.
- 26:44Speaker 2: You know, I would say this.
- 26:47Speaker 3: I would say that when you sign up for the
- 26:49Speaker 3: Lawla program, whether you're the friend or the spouse, you
- 26:53Speaker 3: have to know going in if I'm gonna be Lalla's friend,
- 26:56Speaker 3: like and forget me, but other people around you, you're
- 26:59Speaker 3: either signing up for the crying or the screaming program.
- 27:02Speaker 3: And as long as you know that that's part of
- 27:04Speaker 3: the friendship, then you just find.
- 27:05Speaker 1: But you also sign up for if anyone fucks with you.
- 27:09Speaker 3: Oh, you'll just cry or scream at them exactly, I
- 27:12Speaker 3: think screaming. But I will say, I'm not going to
- 27:17Speaker 3: say you're soft er, but you are. I think that
- 27:20Speaker 3: since you've had ocean, you know what it is. Your
- 27:24Speaker 3: patience for outside things affecting you has dropped. Like, you're
- 27:30Speaker 3: much more. It takes you a lot more to go
- 27:34Speaker 3: to a ten than it used to. You know what
- 27:36Speaker 3: I'm saying, because you're all I think you're just your
- 27:38Speaker 3: heart is so full and you're not is on edge.
- 27:41Speaker 3: Let's just say, right, I mean, is that a fair statement?
- 27:43Speaker 1: Yeah? You know, who knows though she's only two months old.
- 27:46Speaker 1: You know, I could definitely, I could definitely step back
- 27:49Speaker 1: into old ways very quickly. And you know what, I'm
- 27:52Speaker 1: gonna be okay with that, you know.
- 27:55Speaker 2: All right, I not know it. I'm going to pivot
- 27:56Speaker 2: to the break.
- 27:57Speaker 1: All right, let's take a break and after.
- 27:59Speaker 2: This message will be back with Quavo.
- 28:07Speaker 1: What's up, babes. We are back with Quavo. I'll be honest,
- 28:16Speaker 1: I had no idea that this was really going to
- 28:18Speaker 1: pop off. And here you are lighting a blunt at
- 28:20Speaker 1: my fucking podcast table.
- 28:24Speaker 7: And then I got to be comfortable, you know, yeah, no,
- 28:27Speaker 7: I dig it out, say.
- 28:29Speaker 2: Let's do it. We got to do it. Let's do it.
- 28:30Speaker 3: And by the way, I think this is quabo am
- 28:32Speaker 3: I right? This is your first podcast.
- 28:34Speaker 2: Ever, It is my first podcast.
- 28:36Speaker 3: Who I love it so look, I just want to
- 28:40Speaker 3: I just want to get to it because we do
- 28:41Speaker 3: a lot of time. Quavo's busy guys dropping new albums,
- 28:44Speaker 3: doing all this crazy stuff that he does. Cravo, tell
- 28:47Speaker 3: everybody how you started, because I know a little bit
- 28:50Speaker 3: of backstory, but like you were in high school?
- 28:51Speaker 2: Did how did this come to? Guess?
- 28:52Speaker 7: Started out the basement of my house on the north
- 28:56Speaker 7: side of Atlanta, And it came from a laptop basement,
- 29:01Speaker 7: mic and computer and three guys and and we just
- 29:05Speaker 7: grind and we worked and we just made music. And
- 29:07Speaker 7: all of us grew up from the We all from
- 29:09Speaker 7: the same high school. So I've been doing all my
- 29:11Speaker 7: guys since eighth grade, like on the friendship level, but
- 29:15Speaker 7: like the group, the guys in the group, that's my
- 29:17Speaker 7: cousin and my nephew.
- 29:19Speaker 2: Yeah, So but how does it happen?
- 29:21Speaker 3: So you're in high school, everybody wants to be in
- 29:23Speaker 3: a band, everybody wants to start music, but not everybody
- 29:25Speaker 3: douts it at your level.
- 29:26Speaker 2: So how does it?
- 29:27Speaker 3: Like, how does the trajectory go from high school to
- 29:31Speaker 3: record deals and collaborating with people like justin Timber.
- 29:33Speaker 2: Like, how does this? I'm sorry, I'm sorry.
- 29:37Speaker 7: I'm sorry one would just as timulated dumb ass, but yeah,
- 29:47Speaker 7: so uh, the music just was just was being like
- 29:51Speaker 7: super super like mad neeted you know what I'm saying,
- 29:53Speaker 7: Like super attractive in And it was like every time
- 29:57Speaker 7: we dropped the song, whether in high school, whether it's
- 29:59Speaker 7: about football, whether it's about like just some some high
- 30:02Speaker 7: school ship, would just be like the song of the school.
- 30:05Speaker 7: So we just kept doing that, kept doing and then
- 30:08Speaker 7: it turned to magic. But it started like from just
- 30:11Speaker 7: us dropping off a drinking and some songs and smoking
- 30:14Speaker 7: with the DJ and just locking in and taking over
- 30:17Speaker 7: our town.
- 30:17Speaker 3: And then and what happens you start performing local venues
- 30:20Speaker 3: at what age does like your first like what we
- 30:23Speaker 3: call success.
- 30:24Speaker 2: I guess, right, when does that happen? Like when is
- 30:26Speaker 2: that moment?
- 30:28Speaker 7: It's most definitely when the song hit the radio. Songs
- 30:31Speaker 7: hit the radio when it's like like locally, you know
- 30:33Speaker 7: what I'm saying, Like when it's are we playing a
- 30:35Speaker 7: new recor we're trying to break these artists, they they
- 30:37Speaker 7: they're the youngest out of the out of Atlanta, out
- 30:39Speaker 7: to North and once everything start doing that like going
- 30:42Speaker 7: off the radio, and then Gucci Gucci Man tweeted that
- 30:47Speaker 7: he wanted to see us, he want to find us
- 30:48Speaker 7: and he would part of ten seventeen Like that was
- 30:51Speaker 7: that was really like life changing after that, Sky's a limb.
- 30:53Speaker 1: Wow damn. So I first started listening to you guys,
- 30:59Speaker 1: which give me if if y'all were like on and
- 31:03Speaker 1: popping way before this. I'm sure you were. But I
- 31:05Speaker 1: remember being at my Olympic apartment uh in La and
- 31:10Speaker 1: listening to Handsome and Wealthy on repeat and getting so
- 31:14Speaker 1: white girl schwasted to that song before I went out.
- 31:17Speaker 2: That's most That's one of the day one.
- 31:19Speaker 1: Didn't she Okay, she knows music.
- 31:23Speaker 2: I'm like checked out old, but she's like loves.
- 31:26Speaker 7: That was our second I think our second mixtape, no
- 31:28Speaker 7: label too.
- 31:29Speaker 2: Wow.
- 31:30Speaker 1: Wow, So you were how old are you?
- 31:32Speaker 7: I'm thirty, just turned thirty.
- 31:34Speaker 1: Okay, so we're the same age. Who were you listening
- 31:37Speaker 1: to when you were a young kid. I mean, I'm sure,
- 31:40Speaker 1: I'm sure you listened to the greats, but like, who
- 31:42Speaker 1: do you remember when you think back and you're like,
- 31:44Speaker 1: that's gonna happen for me?
- 31:45Speaker 2: Uh Guccie Lil Wayne, uh Wayne?
- 31:50Speaker 7: I love that she's really Gucci and Wayne like really inspired,
- 31:53Speaker 7: like on the inspired inspiration level, Like, yes, they inspired me.
- 31:57Speaker 7: As I've seen that, I just knew that was my place.
- 32:00Speaker 3: And how does how does working with family? Because obviously
- 32:03Speaker 3: I know because you did a movie with me and
- 32:05Speaker 3: you're acting. I talked about it before you came on
- 32:07Speaker 3: about how talented you are in all mediums and how
- 32:10Speaker 3: you just superstar across the board. People are starting to
- 32:12Speaker 3: see that crossover. But how does working with family music?
- 32:16Speaker 3: Does it get?
- 32:17Speaker 2: Is it easy? Is it doesn't? Easier? Does make it hardest? Family?
- 32:21Speaker 7: So most definitely you're gonna get the hard part. But
- 32:23Speaker 7: when it's so easy, when it's going when it's when
- 32:25Speaker 7: it's going so good, you automatically just know that this
- 32:29Speaker 7: family and I won't want to do it nobody else,
- 32:31Speaker 7: you know what I'm saying. So that lords the fact
- 32:33Speaker 7: that like kind of kick in and and and outweighs
- 32:37Speaker 7: the feelings and us being man like every time we anytime,
- 32:40Speaker 7: anytime we argue, we just know, at the end of
- 32:42Speaker 7: the day we are family.
- 32:44Speaker 1: Like you have the unconditional love factor. But I think
- 32:47Speaker 1: you also because of the line of work you're in,
- 32:49Speaker 1: you know when you have to put that part aside.
- 32:52Speaker 1: And say like it's about the bag before you know.
- 32:56Speaker 1: It's like you're trying to get it. We're trying to
- 32:58Speaker 1: get it, you know.
- 32:59Speaker 3: So I get the mean wait the back meaning the money.
- 33:02Speaker 2: You can't fumbled it. You can't fumble it.
- 33:04Speaker 7: Don't fumble the bed came from of the bedev.
- 33:08Speaker 3: And I had the funniest moment. And I want to
- 33:10Speaker 3: know if you know this baby, because I'm not. Really
- 33:12Speaker 3: that's cool, right, And him taught me something. So people
- 33:20Speaker 3: like when they get too fanatical within your own camp,
- 33:24Speaker 3: like they're too much of a Lalla fan or too
- 33:27Speaker 3: much of a Quavo fan, he calls it something and
- 33:30Speaker 3: I love.
- 33:30Speaker 1: No, no, no, no, not we love.
- 33:34Speaker 2: We love our fans. You know what I'm saying. It's
- 33:37Speaker 2: just like Save. For instance, you have a Saves.
- 33:42Speaker 7: You got like a cleaning lady cleaning your house and
- 33:44Speaker 7: she wanted to like take pictures of the plaques on the.
- 33:46Speaker 2: Wall and they have all the people.
- 33:49Speaker 7: Let people know that how my bed need to be made,
- 33:53Speaker 7: you know what I'm saying, Like something like that, somebody
- 33:55Speaker 7: somebody your team and they're part of like the group,
- 33:58Speaker 7: and so we call it group.
- 34:00Speaker 2: Down, what is it?
- 34:02Speaker 1: Group? No I've know you're something new.
- 34:06Speaker 7: If I whip out the camera light right now, I'm
- 34:08Speaker 7: just chilling with it, right it can't stop like I'm
- 34:11Speaker 7: grouped out.
- 34:12Speaker 1: I love it.
- 34:13Speaker 2: If you get grouped out. If you get grouped out,
- 34:15Speaker 2: you're out for good.
- 34:17Speaker 7: So it's like it's like it's like when you a
- 34:18Speaker 7: famous person, meet a famous person, like like your favorite
- 34:21Speaker 7: famous person right in.
- 34:22Speaker 2: The world, and like you don't want to like wait
- 34:26Speaker 2: does that no, I do it. Let me tell you why.
- 34:28Speaker 2: I'm going to tell you that group.
- 34:29Speaker 5: Is grouped out as out of your mind grouped me.
- 34:33Speaker 2: I wouldn't come here if I got grouped You know what, You're.
- 34:36Speaker 3: Using the word out of context, I am.
- 34:38Speaker 2: I'm going to tell you what grouped out is here.
- 34:40Speaker 3: It is you have somebody in your team that works
- 34:43Speaker 3: with you and they are constantly like going off on
- 34:48Speaker 3: like grabbing pictures.
- 34:49Speaker 1: It would be like me being like, hey, I'm doing
- 34:51Speaker 1: my podcast podcast, and then.
- 34:55Speaker 3: Every time came to dinner or lunch or breakfast, you're
- 34:59Speaker 3: still posting.
- 35:00Speaker 2: I would be grouped out.
- 35:00Speaker 1: Okay, so I have this question. Yeah, not for you, Rand,
- 35:05Speaker 1: don't get too excepa.
- 35:06Speaker 2: I wasn't what this is supposed to be a couple.
- 35:10Speaker 1: When you were making music in the basement, was there
- 35:17Speaker 1: somebody that you were like, I want to make music
- 35:20Speaker 1: with you know this person one day and that ship
- 35:23Speaker 1: came true because you've worked with a lot of people,
- 35:26Speaker 1: you know, like Drake, which, by the way, if I
- 35:29Speaker 1: ever worked with Drake, oh I get grouped out, I'd
- 35:36Speaker 1: be grouped out. Can you say or will you get
- 35:40Speaker 1: grouped out?
- 35:40Speaker 5: If you say no, I don't get Oh, so I
- 35:46Speaker 5: have to elevate my ship before I get no.
- 35:49Speaker 2: Can I say one thing about being groupped out? You?
- 35:50Speaker 3: I don't think you can be grouped out if you're
- 35:52Speaker 3: a superstar. I don't think so I can grouperstars.
- 35:57Speaker 7: Know pots Sometimes people just be over excited and like
- 36:01Speaker 7: it's kind of you know what I'm saying, just being
- 36:03Speaker 7: like super oversight. You can't get mad about being grouped
- 36:06Speaker 7: just you just know the person just super group It's
- 36:08Speaker 7: not you know what I'm saying. You can't just let
- 36:10Speaker 7: me ask question five for being grouped.
- 36:12Speaker 2: Let me ask a questions.
- 36:12Speaker 1: I want to know. I want to know who he worked.
- 36:16Speaker 7: I want to work who who did I want to
- 36:18Speaker 7: work with?
- 36:18Speaker 2: That it came true, Jay, Z and Beyonce.
- 36:21Speaker 1: That's who you want to work with or you did,
- 36:23Speaker 1: yeah he didn't when he works with your mouth, I.
- 36:29Speaker 7: Just it's ape ship. We did ape ship the album
- 36:33Speaker 7: off the album.
- 36:33Speaker 1: Oh my god.
- 36:34Speaker 2: Yeah that's grave. Ye shut shut up again. That is
- 36:40Speaker 2: the rudest.
- 36:40Speaker 1: I feel like once I entered a certain part of
- 36:43Speaker 1: my life, I just kind of crawled into a hole
- 36:45Speaker 1: and had no idea what the fun was happening at all. Ever,
- 36:48Speaker 1: that's what happened.
- 36:49Speaker 7: When you say when my boy Randall put you up, yep, yes, yes,
- 36:54Speaker 7: And that.
- 36:54Speaker 2: Means you don't say shut up to the person who
- 36:56Speaker 2: loves Okay, I'm.
- 36:57Speaker 1: Gonna group out. Okay, what are you gonna ask? No?
- 37:00Speaker 3: I actually I like that question because that's actually interesting
- 37:03Speaker 3: that you you look up like we all do to
- 37:05Speaker 3: jay Z and Beyonce, and the next day you're working
- 37:07Speaker 3: with them. That's spectacular. I was going to say that
- 37:10Speaker 3: my nanny is grouped out. She takes a lot of pictures.
- 37:13Speaker 1: Now, Randall, the nanny, nanny, the fucking masseuse. I can't move,
- 37:21Speaker 1: I told Randall.
- 37:21Speaker 3: I was like, you got it, okay, all right, getting
- 37:26Speaker 3: onto the thing. So let me so a lot of
- 37:28Speaker 3: people don't know because you just acted opposite Robert de
- 37:30Speaker 3: Niro for me directing, and that was an amazing experience
- 37:33Speaker 3: both for me.
- 37:34Speaker 2: What was it like for you?
- 37:35Speaker 3: Like for me, I was I was obviously you know,
- 37:38Speaker 3: I've worked with Bob as a producer but never as
- 37:39Speaker 3: a director, and it was an incredible creative experience we
- 37:42Speaker 3: were there together.
- 37:43Speaker 2: But for you as an actor? What was it like?
- 37:46Speaker 2: Just your take? Oh, that was fun. I ain't know.
- 37:48Speaker 7: I didn't like, I didn't know, like how to movies
- 37:50Speaker 7: works with Tom's and putting being on the set and
- 37:55Speaker 7: it's crazy and like I started like to like like
- 37:58Speaker 7: it because I guess I in Puerto Rico or something,
- 38:01Speaker 7: but I don't know. But like working with working with
- 38:05Speaker 7: guys like Rob de Niro where you grew up watching him,
- 38:08Speaker 7: and just the series, just just how he takes Ben
- 38:11Speaker 7: the serious you know what I'm saying, And like when
- 38:13Speaker 7: I was saying my lines to him, he was looking
- 38:15Speaker 7: at me like I was really like making him mad, and.
- 38:18Speaker 2: He's his character. He hates you in the movie.
- 38:20Speaker 3: Yeah, and you're a really bad guy in the Movie's cool,
- 38:23Speaker 3: but you felt like when you're in that moment, he's
- 38:26Speaker 3: at the character I watched you guys, Yeah it's on.
- 38:29Speaker 7: It's like his switch is like unbelievable, so unbelievable. I
- 38:33Speaker 7: was just soaking it all in, just soaking up game
- 38:35Speaker 7: and just seeing how you know what I'm saying, he
- 38:37Speaker 7: like his professionalism is.
- 38:38Speaker 2: It was just it was fire.
- 38:41Speaker 1: Yeah that was your first movie ever?
- 38:43Speaker 7: No, not yeah, my first movie, but TV TV I did.
- 38:47Speaker 7: That was my first fl Yeah, it was awesome.
- 38:50Speaker 1: The first movie you ever do. It's Robert fucking Den.
- 38:54Speaker 2: And Jack Houston. It's pretty cool.
- 38:56Speaker 7: Jack Houston was awesome, awesome. That's my shout out to
- 38:58Speaker 7: Jack Man. We have fun with Jed.
- 39:00Speaker 2: Jack. Jack was killing.
- 39:02Speaker 1: I mean I've seen a couple of clips that you
- 39:04Speaker 1: guys have done and it looked badass.
- 39:05Speaker 2: Yeah right, No, it's it's a special movie. I'm telling you.
- 39:08Speaker 3: When we get it finished, it's you're gonna be really
- 39:11Speaker 3: proud and Quava, you crush it. And and I know
- 39:14Speaker 3: that we were moving fast, you know every day, look like.
- 39:16Speaker 7: Oh my god, so they move it so fast. I'm like,
- 39:20Speaker 7: are we getting the good ship? They not saying anything
- 39:23Speaker 7: when they told me that.
- 39:25Speaker 3: No, I you know, the one thing I think you
- 39:28Speaker 3: realized with me is like when I'm directing. If it's bad,
- 39:30Speaker 3: I say it, but if I don't say anything, it's
- 39:32Speaker 3: like we're going to let them know if it's Yeah,
- 39:35Speaker 3: and you were you and Jack, the things you guys did,
- 39:37Speaker 3: people are gonna be really impressed. I think audiences are
- 39:39Speaker 3: going to come to this not knowing what to expect
- 39:41Speaker 3: and then seeing you opposite de Niro. People are gonna
- 39:44Speaker 3: really there's be a lot of love for you. It's
- 39:46Speaker 3: you're you're obviously and I'm not, you know, trying to
- 39:49Speaker 3: group myself out here, but I'm serious.

- 39:54Speaker 2: to have worked with you.
