But today we have a lovely phrase: the bird sings a sweet song. Luna: Oh, I love that. How do we say it? Lucas: పక్షి పాట పాడుతుంది. Let's break it down: పక్షి is bird, పాట is song, పాడుతుంది means sings. Luna: పక్షి పాట పాడుతుంది. That's lovely. Lucas: Exactly. Now, imagine you're at the park, and you hear a bird singing beautifully. You can say that. Luna: So I would say, పక్షి పాట పాడుతుంది. Lucas: Perfect. And if you want to say the bird is building a nest, you say పక్షి గూడు కట్టుతుంది. Luna: Right, we learned that before. గూడు is nest, కట్టుతుంది is builds. Lucas: And the bird eats seeds: పక్షి గింజలు తింటుంది. Luna: గింజలు are seeds, తింటుంది is eats. Lucas: And the bird drinks water: పక్షి నీళ్ళు తాగుతుంది. Luna: I remember that one. నీళ్ళు is water, తాగుతుంది is drinks. Lucas: You've got it. Let's practice all four. Repeat after me: పక్షి పాట పాడుతుంది. Luna: పక్షి పాట పాడుతుంది. Lucas: పక్షి గూడు కట్టుతుంది. Luna: పక్షి గూడు కట్టుతుంది. Lucas: పక్షి గింజలు తింటుంది. Luna: పక్షి గింజలు తింటుంది. Lucas: పక్షి నీళ్ళు తాగుతుంది. Luna: పక్షి నీళ్ళు తాగుతుంది. Lucas: Beautiful. Now let's put them in a little scene. Imagine you're sitting on a bench, and you see a bird. Luna: Okay, I see the bird. What's it doing? Lucas: It's singing. So you say: చూడు, పక్షి పాట పాడుతుంది. Luna: చూడు, పక్షి పాట పాడుతుంది. Look, the bird sings a song! Lucas: Then it flies to a tree and starts building a nest. So you say: అది గూడు కట్టుతుంది. Luna: అది గూడు కట్టుతుంది. It is building a nest. Lucas: Then it eats some seeds. So: అది గింజలు తింటుంది. Luna: అది గింజలు తింటుంది. Lucas: And finally it drinks water. So: అది నీళ్ళు తాగుతుంది. Luna: అది నీళ్ళు తాగుతుంది.
