- Kim Bobbitt: No no. Okay, well apparently the episode has already started, guys. Hello. Voice Togs After Dark, episode eleven, with the lovely Danielle Cookie, who has now who has two books out now, apparently. Mm-hmm. She's all big and big author now. And then we have Flynn, the menace, right next to next to me here. Hello. Who's a menace. And almost killed me. about a week ago. That was not my fault. Was it? No, it was. It was. It was absolutely your fault. I there were warnings. You know what? You know what, Flynn We're just gonna get right into it. You yelled at my friend B last time for d leaving me In a car to die in a fiery car crash after she teleported. And then you released fake E AMA. I've heard about this, but I have heard it. I did choose to turn on on my lunch break while I was driving back to work and possibly did not fully read the description. Literally, but that is still neither here nor there. Neither here nor there. It's still your fault. again, I it the tags. It it says not a real AMA. When something says AMA Did it really say that? Never has it not been. To be fair, it says AMA dash. How big is it? And then like the second or third tag is not a real AMA. Like I wanna know, Kim, is at what point did you realize that it wasn't an AMA? At what point did you realize these people weren't just asking questions? Honestly about there were there were signs about five seconds in. But I was like, you know what? People are crazy, people are funny, this could be real. There were signs and I chose to ignore them and it's not. There were signs and I was driving. Yeah. I was driving. We were looking for other signs. But in my defense, you did say you were going to do an AMA. I did it. And so I thought this was you doing your AMA that you said you were going to do. I feel like I have to listen to this now. I mean that was the point, but then there were also it clues that it was not real. So you set out to trick me. I created context. I set up something. I gave you something else. And then I gave the promised AMA. It's all right. I'm still here. I'm still alive. It's fine. Just touch and go there for a minute. I did send B another really yelly voice note though. It was very loud. I think I screamed. What did I scream? I I know there were lots of F words. I know there was most of them were fuck you, Flynn. Flynn, what did you do? It was a friendly little audio to answer a question. That's all. I've sure to use the words friendly little audio for all of the audio that make us go. fucking dare you. All of my audios are friendly. What was the question? That's an understatement. How big is it? It's just the other questions that in multiple ways. It's just a friendly little audio called How Pac. And there was talk of donuts, which Flynn, you know I love donuts. yes. I had to stick around. Who doesn't love donuts? Like that's my favorite snack. You know, I'm real I'm really trying to find ways in how I can help Flynn here, and that there's there aren't any. I I can't. I can't help with any of this. Good. You just you just are. I still love you. It's fine. You're still part of the family. It's fine. I'm never trusting you again. I have no trust. Trust is broken. Just put Flame at the very last seat at the table. Yeah, he's in the corner. He's in he's in the shame corner for sure. Okay. All right. So since the last time you guys were here, Danielle, you were our first episode ever on Voice Lots After Dark. You will always be our first. Flynn, you are episode number two. So it was really fun to have you guys back and chit chat about what's been going on. I can't believe it's been almost three months or no two months since we started. That's crazy. we Echoes and Obsidian is finally on Audible. Finally. Finally. Finally. I'm marked as the only narrator. We will find out, I guess. I mean you you are the main narrator, let's be fair. Yeah. Probably then I did all the other sexy men voices. Mm-hmm. Yeah. Sexy men voices. You yeah, just you just Danielle and Mike in a closet, the whole book. That's me. That's me. and then we had our Kickstarter for Secrets in Cyan, which was a a huge success. Yeah. Yeah, I was so I was so excited. How long did it take you to to hit your goal? we hit the goal about a week before it ended, which I was insanely surprised at. Like I was I've like every time I do one of these, I'm like always like unsure if I'll make it. I think Echoes and Obsidians Kickstarter last year we didn't hit the goal until like five minutes before and that's just because I was telling a coworker about it and I was like, We haven't hit the goal yet, but I'm sure it'll work out. And he's like, Well, what is it? I'll do it. And I was like, You don't have to, and he was like, No, I will. And I was like, okay. And then we hit the goal and I was like, that's so cool. But yeah, I was very Yes. I was very I was very I was very happy with this Kickstarter. I actually have all the fulfillment right behind me. That's awesome. Yeah. Well duh. Okay, I'll I'll move B, it's okay. B B's like the the perfume and then the black envelopes, the stickers that I made, and then that's Echoes and Obsidian, Secrets and Cyan is over there. But yeah. And you've been doing a lot of appearances. You've been doing a lot of books book shows and stuff. You've been selling a lot of a lot of echoes. So that's good. Yes. Thank you. And everyone is loving it. Everyone's talking about how amazing Echoes at Obsidian is. I mean, me and B hear at least once or twice every cup every week about someone else who's, you know, started it and loving it and and so yeah, every got really good feedback. So It's a great story. Yeah, really. So now we have Secrets in Cyan. And B is going to probably yell at you a little bit about that. I don't like that it ended. You don't like that it ended or how it ended? That it ended. That it ended? Yes. Yes. All books must end, my friend. Yeah. It was that one was actually really That one was a really fun one to write, especially because like somebody was I forget who it was, but somebody reached out to and they're like, I can really tell like your writing style, like your writing really improved with this, and I really love all the characters and like they'd like talked about like all the different characters and all the little things that happen. And I was like, That's so cool because I literally wrote that immediately after. Like I finished Echoes and Obsidian and immediately started Secrets in Cyan. There was no break. Yeah. But That's funny. I almost said the last one's name. I can't tell you the title yet. But rude. But the third one is all plotted out. I have I have a quarter of it written. I just need to finish writing it. And there might be a fourth one or a novella about a certain character. What are you doing? What are you doing? but then I got this brilliant idea for another. series and I told Flynn all about it and then then I told Atlas all about it and I was like Atlas you can't tell anyone this is top secret and he was like got it boss and I was like great He won't tell anyone I think you'll both really like that. cool thanks yeah it's exciting good stuff thanks for that I'm so excited it's gonna have monsters I knew you know you think the thing about second books are always people assume though I think just characters kind of gel people are used to like what's happening. They've gotten I don't necessarily think that you've your writing probably changed. It's just that kind of like things become like cohesive in book two and people start to really kind of get into the story. So yeah. But that's good. And there was people. yeah yeah yeah. It was so much fun changing it from the city to like You're literally just like stuck on this campus on top of a mountain. So you literally can't go anywhere. And and then somebody told me that Echoes and Obsidian is more Amity's book while Secrets and Cyan is more Luca's. And it's so much fun. It's so much fun. I love it. And then of course you see more of Rune, which is Yes, you do. Such a lovely, lovely treat. And you get to learn all these little things about him, Flynn. You're going to have so much fun. You are going to fucking love it. I can't wait. I actually almost like him now. I know. I'm very surprised. I have a lot of people coming to me and they're like, I'm Team Rune. And I'm like, I'm not quite. I was never not Team Rune. I just want to throw this out there. I was always like, Rune's gonna turn out to be something that you don't think he is. I said that. Did I not say that? Well, I mean, none of us would have guessed what he actually is. Coffee and snacks. Like How could he be a bad person? Yeah, he's the best hot cocoa. I I that's flawless logic as far as I'm concerned. I think so. Is it the best hot cocoa? I'm pretty sure. Makes the best hot cocoa, he does little puzzles with you by the fireplace. How does he bring down? I know The spoilers! You're doing it on purpose. And not hearing the spoilers you want to hear, or is it harder to not share the spoilers you want to share? All wait, is that for me or for I think it's that's for B. B was tortured not knowing things, but now they know things and they're tortured not being able to tell things. I'm curious. I do. Mm-hmm. Flynn hasn't read it yet. His package is literally sitting right there. It led to healthy ignorance. I don't know at what point in a book spoilers are spoilers. So I get worried about talking about any of the books. Sure, sure. I know what you're talking about. no, we'll let him figure that out. So you did mention Flynn's participation in Secrets and Science. So do we have audio plans? Are we where what's our thoughts on that? I'm so I'm so happy you asked. Okay. I'm so happy you asked because as you know my brain does not stop working, so of course I already planned out the entire calendar for next year. Which is great. yes. Do you have it? Do you have it handy? This time? god. Do you have it physically there? okay. We love to see a calendar. Yes. There's so many papers. so this This is twenty twenty six. This is twenty twenty seven. But my plan is because the third one isn't completely done yet. by the time by the time I published Echoes and Obsidian, Secrets and Cyan was done. But so hard not to say the title. The third one The third one is not written yet, so I don't have plans of publishing it next year. And also publishing a book and producing an audiobook at the same time is a lot. yeah. A lot. Yeah. Like a lot of work. Like it was not good for my anxiety. But I do have plans for a and pe it it's so cool too because people have been like coming have been reaching out to me through Instagram and asking me like when I'm casting the audiobook for the sequel, like to like keep them in mind, like asking like what type of voices I'm looking for. And it's been like so interesting and so cool and I'm really happy that everyone is excited about it because it is happening next year. Yay. Yay! And I already I already talked to B about a few people I have in mind. And I really hope I can get them. Get my mitts. That's awesome. I love that. Thank you. I love you. I am very excited. I think you need to make up like a project title or like a fake title for book three 'cause you're gonna you're gonna like accidentally say it at some point. Yeah. A wit. Wit. Is that a I'm not telling you. Okay. So it the the it's the initials of the title. So I'm not telling you. Something something in something. Yeah, what now we're gonna be doing this now? Are we gonna be doing this now? We're gonna be trying to guess. Yeah, apologies. I'm going to be useless for the rest of the interview. I think it's wallabies and trees. It has to be. Can we just call it wallabies and trees? Yes, I think that code name. Yeah, Clint, I love that. I love wallabies and trees. It's so whimsical. Wallabies and trees. I love it. Wallabies and trees. I'm gonna be saying that forever. It's so cute. It's so cute. So it's really cute. I love it. I love it. Wallabies and trees. It's happening. Okay. It might even replace the actual title of the book. It just make it wallabies and trees. Just throw a few wallabies into the book. It'll be fine. Yeah, it's are you excited to be rune again? Yes. I have to post your teaser. Like the full teaser. Noelle I I posted like part of it. gotcha. Yeah, I didn't post the whole thing. Okay. Only Bees heard the full You heard the full thing, Bee. No, I didn't. Yes, you did. I sent it to you. Like the day after I got it. You were like, can I hear it? And I was like, Yeah, but like I didn't edit it yet, but here it is. I definitely did. She clearly doesn't believe you. Really not. I do I do remember. The reason why we ca had you on last time was we were talking about the summer solstice audio that you did together, which was very good. And left us on a cliffhanger. And so we finally got episode two, which is Autumn Equinox, and was so fun. we loved it. We and we're still on a cliffhanger. We still don't know what's going on. Yeah, I have you noticed I like those? Yeah, I've noticed. You like a bit of mystery, madam. I like torturing my readers. Yeah, we know. And listeners. And listeners. You should you should have a conversation with my beta reader for Echoes and Obsidian. Yeah. That's like it's like a whole nother Poor guys. So I mean, continuing the trend of amazing audio, like you got the sound effects on these Flynn were just like insane. Yeah, Flynn did an incredible job at any those together. They were so stressful. But you just I can see why, because they were done really well. Thank you. The crackly fire was so like Just like in the background all the time. I loved that. It was so good. Anytime I can put some ambient noise for a setting or a background, I I try to. I just finished editing an orc audio for a big monster fucker group thing that's happening. And no, it's all it's all fire crackling and war drums and like the more I can put in some background noise to set the scene, I think it just helps so much. put the reader or the listener what where things are going, especially if you've got location changes or or things like that. It helps so much. Yes. tell me tell me tell me more about this this orc. Yeah but tell us about the orcs. Tell me about the tell me about the orc. Group collab thing that was organized and will be coming out on Reddit, I believe, next month. So we'll be posting all those things. I do not hold those details in my brain. My audio is finished. And that is I send it off to the people in charge and then I go, okay, good, that's done. I have to go record more things now. Off the brain. On to the next thing. Yes. Yeah. You are so busy. He's a busy man. He's a busy man. Busy man. so autumn equinox. Oops sorry. No, go ahead. What'd you say? No, I just that's very exciting. I'm very happy for you. It is very exciting. I I w I we love a good orc story. Yeah. Not orca orc. Yeah. Or specifically, yes. Especially for spooky season. my gosh. And we were just talking about monsters. Yes. Mm-hmm. We love monsters. I can't wait. my god. You have got to stop doing that. You're like you're like me with Christmas presents. Like it'll be July and I'll be like, I've just bought you the most amazing Christmas present. I wanna give it a G, but I can't, and then every five minutes. Okay, wait. Like to be fair though, to be fair though, that did happen to me yesterday when I was at Marshalls. I saw a pumpkin and my sister's getting married next autumn and it said Mr. and Mrs. and I was like, should I buy it now? Should I give it to her later? But it but if I buy it now, I'll have it. You're gonna give it to her. No, you're gonna give it to her. Yeah. It's not gonna make it. Yeah. I have a feeling you're in the same group of people that you have to like not ever buy things too early or be too prepared because That's me. Giving them away way before Christmas. Immediately give it away. Yep. No, that's me for sure. But anytime they're sad, it's like, well, I've got this Pile of things that would be perfect for you, not for Christmas at all. There you go. How would you like to hear the bonus content early? Bam. Take it. Yeah. Yeah. you'll be getting back to secrets. Basically, so speaking of your like actual AMA. Yes. Just just Off Shakespeare quotes. Yeah, that was rude, frankly. Drinking. Like you your brain wasn't properly working, and you could do that. I was like, fuck off. It could only remember little bits. Little bits. Smattering. Smattering soliloquies. What's your favorite Shakespeare quote? Or what's your favorite quote from a Shakespeare play? I think the one one of the ones I mentioned in the AMA is from two gentlemen of Verona. and I I just remembered one of the questions. Sorry. and he's his he's been exiled and he's living in the woods with bandits, and he has a soliloquy in which he says, use doth breed habit. and I just really like that. The more we do something, the more it just becomes a part of who we are. Yep. Well, as soon as you listen to that voice note about the the next book series, I think you'll like it. fuck off, Danielle! My favorite is you are a saucy boy. Just because I can't tell me. Classic player with you egg. Yeah. I mean, he is a saucy boy. It's fine. He's a saucy boy. I absolutely loved your AMA Flynn. I thought it was great. I the wor the real one, not the other one. The real one. And the other one was fine. The other one was fine. I like But it was fine. I like the question where you read you read it like, so what what do you prefer? Paris or Paris or Roman? And I was like, that doesn't say Roman. It says Rome. And you were like Three sentences in before you're like, I read that wrong. It says Paris and Romeo. I thought I was like, who would I rather make? Paris or Romeo from Romeo and Juliet? And the answer is Paris, yeah. Yeah, yeah. Romeo's a little fuck boy. I have a little boy. I And I was just sat there going. Yep, no, I just completely misread it. So which would you choose? Paris or Rome? Probably Rome. I I've been to Paris once. It was fine. I forgot you were well traveled. not not really, no. I studied abroad and had a short little time in Paris. that's about it. So it was lovely. but yeah, Paris was fine. Yes. I'd I'd r I'd rather see Rome now. I've not been there. That's fair. I they should put that on the travel brochures. Paris was fine. Paris was fine. Paris was fine. It was acceptable. It's fine. Notre Dame was cool. The Louvre. I do highly recommend the Louvre. yeah. Yeah. I think that's probably the highlight. Okay. Notes about Autumn Equinox B. Would you like to begin your your notes on Autumn Equinox? Yeah, sorry, we got sidetracked by That's what I'm here for. What do you think about the fix in the audio? Like those kind of notes? Or okay, cool. I want to know all your thoughts. I'll I'll pull up my I mean you literally read them as they were happening. I don't want to hear them. Yeah, but the the audience didn't be. Yeah, I want to hear again. Sorry, I I this is for other people, not just us. Say it what's feeling. My my brain isn't working very well today. I mean, I love this as much as you do and I would just do this all day, but other people are gonna watch. I love you. Now be messages. Listen to the difference. You're so pretty. See there's the difference. you're so pretty, B Did you guys did you guys listen to me and me and Meg's episode? Yes. Yes, we absolutely did. I gave her bi panic and it was amazing. She She could not figure out that your question was from you. Like it took her I know, I heard it and it was the first one. It was so funny. I was so happy. Obvious. Yeah, Meg was nothing funny. That's great. An Atlas's question She's been cursed. She's been cursed. I was like Okay. Of course you can't just say, I would ask her this. No just she's been cursed. Yeah. Very dramatic. Very atlas. Yes. So okay, my first was like like about sound editing and then Yeah. Sound hit you like first. It was so good. Yeah, it hit like from the very beginning. Yeah. Great job plan. Yeah. It really did. It was amazing. But also that gap in time it's been years. Okay. No, but it's not been years, right? So between audio one and audio two, it's only been like three months. Right. But before audio one before that it's been years. You Yeah. Okay. I'm gonna tell you something. So you can have your little fix. Okay? So I'm working on something. And Flynn knows about this. And I've also reached out to a couple voice actors about this. But that's going to be a whole thing. It's gonna be a little clap. I have plans, but it's not done. So don't worry. But you'll know about Aiden and Eda's. First night together. Okay. Which was three years ago. Yeah, sure. Three. Or something. It was years. Whatever you said. Years. It's like five. Five. Six. Okay. Jesus. Okay. Wallabies and trees. Wallabies and trees. I don't know. Let's just say wallabies and trees when we don't know. Wallabies and trees. And a wallaby in a tree. A wallaby in a tree. Wallaby in a tree. and Flynn, now that you're here and now that I have witnesses, next time you want to do an accent, can you please, please, please tell me first? Can you just can you just tell me? 'Cause okay, so I heard the first audio and beat and I listened to it and I was like, you did an accent. And he was like, Yeah, I d I did an accent and I'm like, I would have liked to have known that before I recorded the whole thing. She wanted to do an English accent, Flynn. Well well now I just then I just thought it like sounded weird. No change. But Flynn says it's fine, so it's fine, I guess. I just trusted you to voice the character as you believed she should sound. And you did. There you go. Yeah, but I just wanted I just wanted to bar the team and have it flow a little better. And I think I I'll be completely honest with you, Daniel. It did not strike me at all in either audio that you had different accents, never once. Thanks, Kim. And that's something that I like we literally listened to things like very closely and like drill down on those things. I and it never even fucked crossed my mind at all. So I wouldn't even think about it. It was very like the accent seemed very personality based. As opposed to region based, if that makes any sense. Mm-hmm. Okay. Cool. And your voice is just when you voice, Daniel, your voice is just so pretty and like it has just like this beautiful like cadence to it. Like honestly, I don't even think you need to like give yourself an accent. You just it's just has a really pretty quality to it. So like this is like the highest highest compliment I can give. You sound like you should be in like Steven Universe. Like with the way you voice act. Thanks. I was like It did sound really good. It did sound really good. You ladies are so nice. Button butter butter butter fuck. Wallabies and trees. Wallabies and trees. Buttering me up. Butterfuck. Butterfuck. What? That's a whole nother audio. I like when it's not me tripping over words. Never drinking coffee while recording a podcast episode again. No. Every time. Every time it's happening. It's gonna be a requirement. it's fine. Now, focus everyone. B. Can you give us your notes on autumn equinox? Ha ha ha. Okay. Well, also, in accent land I had to really concentrate to not start imagining imagining this that this was He's so nerd out. Like, tell me. Nothing. From my Doctor Hill audios. Like on earth, pretending to be somebody else. It was so difficult. You sound so much like him. my god. Flynn. Yes. is it it's just I don't understand how Americans can British better than a British person. Yeah, Flynn. Good job, but also like fuck off. Yeah. I think Lovingly. I mean you do it so good. It just sounds so natural when you do it. No, thank you. It does because it sounds like You also what you also do is when you go into your British dialect, it kinda you drop your voice a little bit. So it's like slightly lower than your like actual voice. Which is also fun. Mm-hmm. So I'm usually I'm usually resonating it through my jaw and my chin. As I changed the placement of it. Nice. Mm-hmm. That makes sense. Yeah. Does it? When you think about it. Well No, it the way you have to like well, I mean, you're it's an adjustment to speak that way for us, whereas with you it's just how you normally talk. So it's just like the way you have to like speak. So, if you think about it, did you see Cruella with Emma Stone? Yes I did. So she when she is Cruella, she goes down here. She's like, I'm just getting started, darling. She's down here instead of more like up here. Where she's like, I'm just getting started, darling. Kinda like that. does that make sense? Visuals help. Sorry, you're you'll you're just I love your voice. She's mesmerized. She can't even think. She's like, What were you talking about? I don't remember. Honestly, I feel like asking the two of you to teach me how to speak British. I don't think so either. Yeah, I love your accent. I do too. Everyone does. I don't have an accent. my god. Here we go. Neither do I. I don't have one either. Yeah, I don't got no accent. I have I have no country at all. Do do any of you watch Ted Lasso? Mm-hmm. There's I want to. There's I've I've heard that the British people's view of it is different than how it's perceived in America. and I'd be curious to But there is a moment when he's goes to drive on goes to get in on a car on one side of it and then remembers that that's wrong and he says to the person he's with, he's like, yeah, I'm the one with the accent here. and I just love that that concept of y no one has an accent. We all have accents. It's just whether or not you are a person in i in the minority of where you w happen to be. Yeah. I love that show. Ugh. Have you watched any of the the new season with the girls team, Vincent? I have. I find it interesting. I don't think it's as it's not as good. As well written as it used to be. I just don't think they have outside of dealing with the issues that face women's sports, I think it does that really well. Right. But I think the relationships of the characters already established, they just don't have anywhere to go anymore. Yeah. I agree. So it's fun to be back in the world, but yeah. How long was the gap? How old like when was the last season? I think it was like maybe two years ago, two or three years ago. But on the show, I think there was like what, like four or five years in between? I think so, because his son is a fair bit older. Yeah. But the first like group of seasons was about the men's soccer team and this is about a the women's soccer team. So or football, excuse me. yes, thank you. The correct thing. I changed it. Did you see how I did that? Yes, I did. Okay. Thanks. Okay, well, I'm just gonna say that I loved the banter between you two in this audio. It was hilarious. And Danielle, you are such badass, like I loved your personality. Like I loved it in the first one, but it came out so much more in this one. Like just how like I said what I like literally wrote was Damn damn yell, I'm scared and a little turned on. So it's my goal in life. Thank you. I loved I threatened so many people and it's a lot of It was so good. Yeah. I think my favorite threat was that The hand necklace that nobody wants take your pretty hair and weave it into a sweater and then I'll take those dancers. Dude, that whole exchange, like you're terrifying. I was like, I would not want to be that girl. Well, I think I I think it like in the so how okay. Hang on. Okay. So how I imagine that scene is okay, she walks in to his room, sees Jessica naked on the bed, and then she's like like she's just like what are you doing here? Blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah and then she like makes fun of her and Jessica gets embarrassed, she goes to leave, and that's when she like she okay, so Ida is like imagine this is the door. Ida's like here. Jessica goes to walk past her and Ida like slams her hand against the frame so she can't go. And I remember, I remember recording this for Flynn because I was like, there's supposed to be a thump, but like I don't know if I can do that. But I can do that. I'm in a closet. And I literally took my arm and just whacked it into the wall. And I was like, So I'm going to be if I have a pet I am going to be going right back there. 'Cause it's like and it was it was so much fun to do that. To do like those little switches 'cause it goes from like haha, we're having fun and we're laughing and you're fucked. Yeah, no, exactly. It was it was literally like that's what I was thinking about. So I was like, Man, I'm kinda scared of Danielle now. But like in a good way. So in a good way. Yeah, in a good way. It was really good. I thought. Yeah, no, I could tell you were having fun. Yeah, no, I could tell you were having fun. I I have like a draft in one of my TikToks of me recording that line. And I think I'll post it like I think we should. Before before the fight. I just closed a cup and I'm looking for a pen. That was better than Danielle's bump. No, but I will damn fine thump. Wallabies and trees. I'll post that that that video before before Flynn makes before it yes, so w like where is this gonna come out? Like is this gonna be on your p on your Patreon, Flynn, or what are you gonna do with it? Which I don't know when people will hear this, but the twenty second. So it'll already be out by the time we post this, but that's good. So the equinox will be coming out on the equinox. Mm-hmm. aren't you guys crafty? Was that planned, or did it just take me that long to edit it? Who knows? No, that was planned. I accidents. Happy accidents, yeah. Wallabies and trees. It's fine. Yeah. Wallabies and trees. Wallabies and trees. But is yeah, okay. Okay. Okay. All right. So we've Talked about we've talked about the books. We talked about the audio that we that you guys are coming out with. So what else do you have going on, Danielle? Anything else? I know you're writing book three. Is there anything else that you've got coming out or anything that you're working on right now? That you can tell us about these frequencies. So Flynn go first. Okay, Flynn, go first. I Nothing huge, just a lot of you know, steadily producing things. I've got some I'm gonna be doing a few less majorly scripted audios just time wise. I'm a very slow editor. so I for the next little bit I just need to take on simpler audios, that I can produce faster just because of, you know, things going on in the non audio world. In the life in the life life. In the life life, yeah. So it'll be I'm flexing the improv skills or grow not flexing them, trying to grow them, in the Patreon world. as well as like just producing really dumb audios that make me laugh. including one that just purely inspired by arrested development. Dumb things like that. things that make me chuckle and hopefully people are amused by. So but nothing nothing crazy huge, no no giant projects coming up. I'm excited. That just made me very excited. Okay. All right, Danielle, are you ready? for fuck's sake, fight. Okay. So B you look so mad. Stop yelling at me. With your eyes. Yes, stop yelling at me with your face. Stop yelling at me with your eyes. my god. Okay, so. we have a third and final part of this audio series coming out. It is called a winter solstice wedding. no, I feel a trick coming on. And I'm very very excited. Jesus Christ. And I did mention this to Flynn earlier because of course I heard showing up in conversation. He needs to stop doing this. Like, I swear. I heard the little the little reel of Atlas and Alice's live that they did or live recording that they did, something like that. my god. They're bloopers. my god. my fucking God. And I immediately was like, how the fuck did you do this? Tell me exactly how you did this. And he was like, Yeah, I did this, I did this, I did this, I did this. And I was like, Cool. I took a screenshot and I sent it to Flynn and I was like, we should do this. Are y'all gonna record it to find time? I would like to. Flynn, you have to. That's it as as we can find schedules. Yeah, that's the plant can record it live. my god, I cannot wait. So we're gonna do that. I can't wait. I'm very excited. Yeah, so that's happening. And then I'm so happy you mentioned two gentlemen of Verona earlier because okay. I got a wonderful idea for a new series. it's going to be very spooky. It's going to have witches, it's going to take place in a small town, it's going to be very cozy. Do you have hiccups? Are you okay? Are you all right? Are you well? Notice how it doesn't phase me anymore. I'm just like, it's just be And it usually it usually stops at two, so it's fine. Okay. It's going to be a very cozy small town Halloween romance that involves three witches and quite a few monsters. And one of them one of them is named Proteus and their match is named Valentina. Hmm. Mm-hmm. And I'm very excited. And it's so it's so nice. And everything's like coming together. And it's really cool because everything's gonna happen like at the exact same time. So like as one couple is going, like has their story at the same time the second couple and at the same time the third couple. Love those. I love that. So like interconnected standalones, but they all are on the same timeline. huh. I love that. That's like one of my favorite things ever. So fuck it's so good. Like okay, so like it's it's just an idea. I don't have anything planned out. I literally I'm just drafting the in your brain. The summary. Like it's on paper. It's on paper this time. It's just great. And I'm really excited and I don't know who I want Atlas to be, but I know I would love to have him a part of the project. And I'm trying to think of something for some other people. But it depends on schedules and also, you know, this is like three years in the future. Hint hint wink wink nudge nudge. Say no more, say no more. but yeah, subtle. I'm really very yeah. I know, I could be subtle subtle. Yeah. But yes, I'm very excited. Secrets and Cyannes audiobook production should start next year. I'm trying to have it on the same timeline, but again The book's not even out yet. So I'm trying to Are you planning to have a few different female VAs or you're gonna do all of them yourself for all the characters? I'm gonna be really, really honest. I would love Rosemary to have a separate VA. I would honestly love to cast all the rules as their own VA. Mm-hmm. I just don't have the funds. Yeah. At all. Which is why like I which is why like I voice cast like I voice acted like so many people in the first book. Like I played Luca's mom, I played the grandmother, d Sammy, Rex, Amity, Amity's mom. Like random guys, the random dude in the bar who's an asshole. Like it's just Random asshole number one. Random asshole number two. Honestly though. I would love to hear I mean, I know I know it's like dance monkey, but I'd love to hear you voice it is Mer it's Merrill, isn't it? Merrill. Merrill. Meryl's fun. Yes, Merrill and Rosemary. They're just so different. Like all of them are so fucking different and I bet you'd be amazing at them. Thank you. thank you. And like the twins. The the the the twins my god. Verdandi and Do I do I know my own characters? Who knows? Skold, Verdandi, and Erd. Erd? Verdandi and Skold are twins. But Urd has a very nice voice. Because it's all like whispery and raspy. There's like a line in there that's like, not not his business, not his place. And I'm just like, I like it's so it's like it's like not his business, not his place. Yeah, it's very creepy and wispy and like, my god, I'm so excited. Yeah, I love it. And then for Dundee, like I'm so I'm so excited. My first my thought when I was reading for Dundee was Brian Blessed. I don't know. Just that's Yes, you're I don't know who that is. She's very Right, very bad at you, right. Yeah, I agree. All right, Flynn. I'm sorry I don't know people's names. Okay. All right. We've got about 20 minutes left of we've got about 20 minutes left of Flynn. So I have a do have a fun I do have a couple of fun questions to ask of the two of you. Hell yeah. Sure All right, Flynn. What is the pettiest hill that you'll die on? I have similar question in the AMA and I don't Are you not petty enough, Lynn? not like I'm I know I do. No, I remember that. That's I have some I have some things that I would I will have. I have hills that I would die on. I mean when it comes to like the big things, but I like to to I don't really have any things that any hills that I'd like to die on. They're not interesting hills to die on. They're just ones where people are gonna be like, yeah, that's a that's a good one. Yeah. You we we shouldn't randomly murder people. You're right. That's that's a good hill right there. I mean you think that, but your morals are surrounded. Well, yeah. Okay. All right. We'll let you we'll let you pass on this one. I'm I'm afraid. I'm sure I'm sure I do, but nothing's coming to mind. I'll give you another one. If you were a Muppet, who would you be? A Muppet of Muffin. Like yeah. A Muppet. Wait, a muffin or a Muppet? A Muppet. Okay, great. Muppet. Great. Like chocolate chip. I I would wanna be Kermit. yeah. Really? I mean, who doesn't want to be eating The disappointment in your life? to see the bang. You're like, What do you have against Kermit? How pedestrian? I just I just peg you for a Kermit, that's all. You mean the guy who supports all his friends and brings them together and creates a structure for them to like make beautiful creations. I think this is your hilt, Lynn. I'm not gonna settle for Kermit slander. That's there's no meaning. I think we found your hill, my friends. Kermit slander, I said I didn't expect you to pick Kermit. Fair. Well, I I think it would probably be Kermit. It's what I'm gonna go with. Okay. Okay. I think that's fair. You are very Kermit. I like it. All right, B. What do you got? Yeah, B. I don't know. Lord. What about you, Danielle? What Muppet you wanna be? Yeah, that's what I was wondering. There are so many good ones. I don't know her name, but she's really, really cool. She's the one in the band with the with the blonde hair. Janice. Yeah, she's Janice. I was gonna say Janice. That's awesome. See? Janice is the best. So cool. She's like Yeah. She's so cool. There's like a lot of She's so cool she doesn't even have to talk most of the time. She's just literally she's like a she's a presence. She's a badass. Animal's pretty cool too. I mean animals cool. Animal's cool. I like it. Okay, your turn be animal is cool. I do wanna ask this question. I know you know I don't know what it is. I'm slightly scared. Also excited. Excited. Don't know why I thought of this. I really yeah. A cat walks up to you, sits at eye level, and lifts its paw. It backhands you across the face. Leaning in, it whispers no one will believe you and starts to walk away. How would you react? I'd grab the cat. And keep it. Jesus This is my cat. A talking cat that will backhand me and knows it's the power that no one will believe it. I that's a dangerous cat. I'm not gonna try and hang on to that. It's meant to be free, I think. Yeah. Yeah I know that there's a story about cats. It's exactly Did you know the story about Bill Murray? He ate someone's french fries and then walked away and said no one would believe. No one's gonna believe you. So it's Bill Murray and cat form. Bill Murray and cat form? Like honestly, yeah, I'd keep it. Yeah. No, I would probably call one person, tell them no, they're not gonna believe me, and then just cherish the memory. Well, I know who I would call. I would call all of you. For certain. I like that neither of you would choose to go to the hospital. I mean, it's just a backhand. No, I mean you you wouldn't think that maybe it was a hallucination. fuck this to an action. No, cats can talk. Cats can talk. There are many things that I think people would think that I think that are hallucinations, but are not because I think them. No. Cats can definitely talk I don't know what the fuck you just said, but cats can talk. my god. Wallabies in trees. So many wallabies in this tree. There's so many wallabies in this tree. So many Okay. Okay. Okay. Flynn, you are very busy and we know that you don't you have time to do a lot of things. But if there was a script or a project that would make you drop everything, what would it be? Ooh, I got a good one. I d I think it it would probably be something along the lines of what's it I think it's called the Archangel Project. it was a series of full cast recordings of all of Shakespeare's plays, audio recordings. so there's like Rory Kaneers in there. David Tennant does comedy of errors. it's it th they're fantastic. I think anything like that, particularly if they're like, hey, we're gonna do all of the histories and there's some recurring characters in there do you want to come in as like you know take this track all the way through all these plays so something like that I think would would definitely pull me in. Yeah. Who would you play? I have an idea, but tell me anyway. In the histories, he's only in a few, but I have a very soft spot for Suffolk from Henry Six. You're such a like that's such a good answer. I would have never even thought about that. That was awesome. That's a good job. Watch more Shakespeare. What about you, Daniel? Hmm. What about you? I don't I don't know. I haven't I haven't been a part of a lot of projects lately that haven't been like my own. I would love to do more Audio work. I would love to do more audio erotica work. And like I mean I'm just I'm first of all, I'm so grateful to Flynn for actually like, you know, wanting to collaborate on something, but also giving me a platform and a little little boost to actually start stop it. Don't do stuff. Fuck you, I said I wouldn't. But you know we're criers. Shh okay. Well, I'm trying not to. But it's hard. so I don't really have a particular project in mind. I mean, like, I'm not really I don't act full time. That would like that's obviously like the goal. So like, like I'm not really in a position to pick anything like that because I guess every kind of opportunity I'm trying to take where and when I can. But Yeah, that's kinda that's kinda my answer. I can't. Well I mean you're so talented that like all like the voices that you do in your books, you could just use that as what do they call them? yeah, I need to I need to make samples. Yeah, how to make my book. You should add you should add some clips, like all of your different voices from Echoes to your website. You really should. Put together all the British accents you do in the podcast. Hey, I did one so good yesterday, Danielle. She thought that she echoed back in my She thought that she Yeah. Like okay, so I was like I That was the best compliment ever. Dude. So great. I was like, okay, so I was texting you guys, I think it was last night, and I was like, I can do a British accent B and then I like in the bathtub and I was trying to relax and I was like, I'm just gonna tell B about my day and this is how it would go in a bridge accent. And then I just kept going on and on. Five minutes. And you did And nobody was around except Salem. Well mine was only two words, so I mean I'm clearly it was a Tell me, can you tell me? I don't remember what it was. Do you remember what I said, B? I think it was like a bit or it was like literally like two tiny words, but it was just I think it was something I think it was like Tell me. Carbon or something? I think it's on the recording. I'd have to go back and but anyway, it was so funny because she goes, Did you just say that? And I was I was looking down and I just kind of looked up and my like Like my working memory w just could not they could not like they were certain that that was my voice. It was a proud moment for me. It was a proud moment. I almost cried. That's awesome. And then your shirt, by the way. Me? Yeah. Thanks. Slithery snake. Actually, really? Well, I mean I like snakes. I just don't like, you know, live ones around me because I don't like how they eat. That's fair. They don't eat very often. They also don't like being watched. So then we can they don't like being watched eating, so that wasn't a sentence. Did you see the on the yeah it was really quick, so you probably didn't see it, but there was a point on the bloopers where I don't remember, we were talking to Meg. Because it was all it was. It was so it was just it was just us because it was Meg asking us about like shrimp. We were like, Do you like shrimp? And she was like, Like shrimp? And then me and B go, Yeah. Like literally at the same time in this like it was so exactly the same that you couldn't even tell it was two voices. It was in Yeah. Like Riverside couldn't Riverside was like cannot compute. It was like this exact same time. Okay. It's like five minutes to go. So I want to ask of one question. It's your turn. Go. Sure. Sorry. Stop yelling at me with your eyes, P Would you rather watch a movie on a sixty four inch TV with a block of dead pixels slightly off centre or on a phone with perfect clarity? that is very difficult. Do I have to sit down? Am I like strapped to my couch? Am I forced to w d don't look at me like that Don't look at me like that. Am I forced to sit at the couch? All right, then the sixty-four inch and I'll I'll do chores. So you're just gonna do the audio of it. Yes. Yeah. You're just listening. Well, I mean if it's Lord of the Rings, I have all those memorized by like the pictures are all in your head. Yeah, I've absolutely forgotten for I'll just like replay aside questions done, yeah. Do I get to watch do I get to pick what kind of movie I'm watching on this? Think of it as a permanent state of being, so whatever you watch. whatever I watch? Anything I watch. the phone. And then I can hook it up to the TV. With an HDMI cable. I think I'm gonna go with dead pixels still exist though. I'll get a new TV. So you reject the question. I reject the question. No, I found a loophole in the question. You're gonna hate. You'll get a hate. To be fair, Flynn, this is exactly what you did last time to every question we asked. Can I use a knife? Can I say knife? So I'm so happy someone else said knife. Can I cut out the dead pixels with a knife? We could just recalibrate the screen. I can work. Okay, Flynn. I I would go with the the T V with the dead pixels. Wow. I'm on my iPhone enough, so I yeah, I think there's no need to to add more things to that. Yeah, and together we can just make a compromise. You just sigh at me and sigh at my ingenuity Ingenuity? You just have a question. Okay. Stop thinking Flynn, do you need to make a hasty exit? Is that a question or a gen I've I've I've still got a couple minutes? I can I can do a one I can do another question before I go. my god. Okay. Okay, this will hopefully be easy. Well, I don't know. Nothing's easy with you guys. None of my other constraints. Favorite guilty pleasure song, Flynn. I don't even know if it's guilty, but fancy by Casha. By Casha? Wait, no it's or by Iggy Iggy Zalea. No and Charlie X. Give give me two seconds here. there we go. Okay, this is yeah. it's fancy like by Walker Hayes, but featuring fancy like Applebee's on a date night? Yeah. Okay. Flynn, you just surprised me. That's a good one. Love me some Applebee's. Hey, do you know that do you know the dance? Because you know there's a dance to that song. I think you can guess that I do not. Man, you'll have to show us next time. Gonna have to learn it. Next time we're gonna have to see you do it. From the knee down. From the yes, from the knee down. that's good. Okay. That's a good one. it's a very good one. I like it. All right, Danielle, what about you? Taking over tonight from Gravity Falls. I love it. How is that guilty pleasure though? I don't know. I mean it's not It's all in the eye of the person who's judging whether or not you should feel guilty about it or not. So have you seen that interview with John Cena when they ask him about a guilty pleasure? He he was doing a press junket for a movie he did with like Zach Efron and and some people. And they were like being like, it's a Disney movie or it's this and he's like, Those aren't guilty pleasures, those are just pleasures. They're like, Okay, what's a guilty pleasure to you? And he names a porn movie. He's like, That's that's Pleasure right there. He's like, that's why would you feel guilty for liking a Disney movie? You're this classic porn movie that's like he is hilarious. It's I love it. Love John Cena. That's hilarious. I mean Wrong. Of course, some would say why would you feel guilty about liking porn? But I mean I get it. Because if it was for BBC News Round At six o'clock in the evening. I don't remember who it was. It was for something stanicky. I don't know. Something. He was pretending to be it was one of those he pretends to be their childhood best friend to trick their families or something. wow. okay. Okay. Well, this was complete madness for an hour and a half and I don't want it any other way because I love you guys and this was fun and I'm so excited that you are here. And Flynn, I know that you're so busy, but someday you'll come back and we'll chat again. Lovely. Yeah. Thanks for hanging out. Sorry I got like a little aggressive with you at first, but I had to get it out. Like it was poison. All good. It's me or Flynn? All good. That's a vent it. Flynn. You were? It was Flynn. Yeah, I was a little aggressive. A little aggressive at first. Well fucked. He tried to kill me, but I still love him. I appreciate it. B, do you have anything to say to our guests? I don't know what the fuck's just happened. Closing closing remarks. Like in the last hour and a half or just in general? That one. That one. That one. Wallabies and trees. Everything! Everything. Like I'm just gonna It's like a big fever dream. I think that's I think that's fair. Like we should just name this episode Fever Dream. Yeah. Can we? Instead of wallabies and trees? Well, I mean wallabies and trees is pretty good, but wallabies and trees with fever dreams. Fever dreams of wallabies and trees. There we go. Yeah. Just like panic at the discount. Yeah. When there were six people. Okay, you guys. Wow. I love you guys. Thanks for hanging out. yeah, I guess Flynn has to go. So Flynn, safe journeys. Thank you. Thank you for hanging out. See you later. Have a good day here. All right, bud. Bye. See you later.
