- 0:31[SPEAKER_25]: He was confident that Iran was going to be sending representatives to Pakistan even though publicly in recent days they were saying that they were not.

- 6:56[SPEAKER_13]: The hotline with Jeff Graham right here, good afternoon to you, one in all, America's favorite
- 7:07[SPEAKER_13]: whatever maybe send it to sticker bureau gets some stickers made of my face uh... was going on in the world a lot of things whether outside is not bad plays a little chilly but not bad uh... looks like clear sail in the next uh... ten days to two weeks of don't worry of course you can still always say to people whenever anybody says it's nice weather in the spring your immediate response should be by the time we got a footer snow on mother's day
- 7:39[SPEAKER_13]: and you can say that until mother's day i guess uh... anyway what else is going on you know i saw story this is kind of a little more off beat but on channel seven mark mason did it the north countries window on the world mysterious cross shaped stone on earth in the airport that's a big uh... you know like a cross i could
- 8:08[SPEAKER_13]: crucifix type cross but it's pretty big.
- 8:12[SPEAKER_13]: The man next to it looks to be about 10 feet tall.
- 8:16[SPEAKER_13]: They don't know what it is.
- 8:20[SPEAKER_13]: I think it could be from some pagan worshiping years ago.
- 8:24[SPEAKER_13]: But definitely save it.
- 8:26[SPEAKER_13]: Please don't destroy this bit of history.
- 8:32[SPEAKER_13]: Put it on the square instead of that thing that's down there now.
- 8:37[SPEAKER_13]: Yeah, oh my god, and uh, at least, I don't know.
- 8:45[SPEAKER_13]: Anyway, it was an interesting story.
- 8:47[SPEAKER_13]: I don't know where he came up with it, but he did.
- 8:51[SPEAKER_13]: Mark Mason.
- 8:52[SPEAKER_13]: Nice guy.
- 8:53[SPEAKER_13]: I never met him, actually.
- 8:55[SPEAKER_13]: He was father from when he was alive and all that, but uh, never met the Mason lad as they call him.
- 9:04[SPEAKER_13]: um... let's see what else is going on you know yesterday we talked about the speed bumps i thought they might come up at last night's council meeting because i didn't i was of the opinion and i know there's some people who disagree they think press releases are issued for speed bumps on but just removing couple speed bumps that were currently not controversial why would you put out a press release and i thought it might be part of some settlement i still think it might
- 9:33[SPEAKER_13]: I think maybe the new lawyers the city has advised whether and keep trying to insist that no problem with the speed bumps and stone wallet and all that like they were doing, maybe just get them out of there and hopefully the family, the hodge family, I don't know how much they want.
- 9:55[SPEAKER_13]: We don't, they filed a notice of claim, but we, nobody's ever said whether there was an actual
- 10:03[SPEAKER_13]: Because I'm sure that would be a very secret, very, very secret.
- 10:07[SPEAKER_13]: So anyway, speed bumps are gone, I think everybody I've talked to say there's more to that story than meets the eye.
- 10:20[SPEAKER_13]: You don't put out a press release to announce the removal of speed bumps.
- 10:24[SPEAKER_13]: It's like saying, you know, moving my trash cans, the other side of the house or something, you don't do it.
- 10:34[SPEAKER_13]: absolutely no idea no wonder we got another boat we come in there this one out in a specific and of course the uh... ceasefire comes off tomorrow so the shooting can begin again city council last night at least in the most of the meeting uh... actually quite a bit of command concerning the city budget usually don't get that much but uh...
- 11:02[SPEAKER_13]: Obviously a lot of people were said I want to pay more in taxes and, you know, to keep what we have and whether it be the zoo or anything else, a lot of support for the zoo was expressed and the statement was made, well, all of where on the verge of becoming self-sufficient, just need one more year of subsidy and then the city came out and said, well, there's over $100,000 in repairs to that visitor center up there.
- 11:32[SPEAKER_13]: before you get deeper into that.
- 11:35[SPEAKER_13]: I would say I still think the city should run the whole shabang up there.
- 11:41[SPEAKER_13]: Black stock and barrel.
- 11:45[SPEAKER_13]: It is an important regional facility.
- 11:48[SPEAKER_13]: I get it.
- 11:49[SPEAKER_13]: You know, it's like Mr. Counseling Kimball who was filling in for the mayor last night said, you know, just having a bunch of old people sitting in their homes, you know, celebrating the fact that taxes didn't go up.
- 12:02[SPEAKER_13]: doesn't make for a very interesting community.
- 12:05[SPEAKER_13]: So I'm having a client to agree with the doctor, all the reason, you know.
- 12:11[SPEAKER_13]: Then he was given like a speech last night like he was he's getting tuned up for an excuse, Mayor's race.
- 12:17[SPEAKER_13]: He knows the mayor isn't running and he wants it.
- 12:23[SPEAKER_13]: Then there's really no one to run against him.
- 12:30[SPEAKER_13]: These jobs are not of any interest anybody any.
- 12:35[SPEAKER_13]: I mean, you're going to do a good job at something you expect to be paid or compensated.
- 12:40[SPEAKER_13]: And we're more interested in saying, can we give bigger races to the city manager and school superintendent?
- 12:46[SPEAKER_13]: And we don't want these elected officials being paid any, then the show is in the kind of governance we're getting.
- 12:54[SPEAKER_13]: So anyway,
- 12:58[SPEAKER_13]: Somebody wants to know if the Ives deal fell apart.
- 13:00[SPEAKER_13]: I don't know anything about it.
- 13:02[SPEAKER_13]: Is that the golf course deal?
- 13:06[SPEAKER_13]: I really don't know the back channel stuff on that, so I can't really say.
- 13:13[SPEAKER_13]: And I think we're supposed to start working on some of the repairs of the front of my building on Thursday.
- 13:20[SPEAKER_13]: I think Mr. Schoen, Councilman Schoen's going to come over.
- 13:24[SPEAKER_13]: And had nice conversation with Mark Thompson over at Jefferson Concrete this morning about getting some kind of barrier and whip me up something.
- 13:35[SPEAKER_13]: And uh, it's about it for me this week.
- 13:40[SPEAKER_13]: Good afternoon, you're on the air.
- 13:44[SPEAKER_13]: Go ahead.
- 13:46[SPEAKER_06]: Are you doing?
- 13:46[SPEAKER_06]: Yes.
- 13:47[SPEAKER_06]: Nice nice council meeting.
- 13:49[SPEAKER_06]: There was a lady that came in over the shooting
- 13:54[SPEAKER_06]: incident that happened five years ago oh yeah I saw that story yeah well she lost her mother and that didn't she why what's that why did she come in i i don't know what i mean uh... she did lose her mother in the shooting so i'm not gonna you know they were talking about the red flag law and they want to make uh... the city to make a practical nation that some day for her mother and go whatever
- 14:22[SPEAKER_06]: Why, though?
- 14:23[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, they're getting this story twisted and trying to make it about, you know, guns and the red flag logs, but the real story with that incident was somebody was pushed over the edge because they were being bullied in the business world.
- 14:41[SPEAKER_13]: Yeah, I don't really have enough of a recollection of the whole thing.
- 14:46[SPEAKER_13]: It was five years,
- 14:52[SPEAKER_06]: I was over on Clinton street was a horrible tragedy and as far as trying to relive it now I don't know why the lady spoke about her mom there, but I don't know It's some kind of, seven news has to be questioned I mean, this is the only thing I could think of, you know, they're pushing it There was on the news and then those up to the thing, you know, like Immigrate from Canada who doesn't like American gun rights
- 15:19[SPEAKER_06]: You know, for example, if the victims wanted to practice the second amendment, right?
- 15:26[SPEAKER_06]: They probably could have took care of the threat, but they didn't.
- 15:30[SPEAKER_13]: No.
- 15:31[SPEAKER_13]: You'll never know it was a horrible tragedy, and, uh...
- 15:34[SPEAKER_06]: But anyway, I just wanted to bring that up saying that I don't know why they would even try to push that story now five years later.
- 15:40[SPEAKER_06]: It's ridiculous, we don't need it, but the city seems to be, you know, things like that.
- 15:44[SPEAKER_13]: So, what's your feeling on the speed bumps?
- 15:48[SPEAKER_06]: Well, I'm glad it's beginning to be taken out.
- 15:49[SPEAKER_06]: We knew it was going to be taken out.
- 15:51[SPEAKER_06]: We knew they wasn't supposed to be there.
- 15:52[SPEAKER_06]: We knew it was an issue.
- 15:54[SPEAKER_06]: We knew they didn't have any right to put them in there.
- 15:57[SPEAKER_06]: And I hope the city pays those folks.
- 15:59[SPEAKER_13]: Really?
- 16:01[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
- 16:03[SPEAKER_06]: Because think about it.
- 16:04[SPEAKER_06]: Like we were stuck on the radio yesterday.
- 16:06[SPEAKER_13]: For on my whole life there's never been a speed bump up there and then obviously there's speed bumps Yeah, well, you know, that's one of these things and I've had them come up in when I was in office We're you didn't really like the city's position on it But on the other hand you don't want to see the tax pay was burdened with handing out money So it's a lawyers and all that the lawyers will string it on for a long enough and then So they get their money and then then they'll say let's settle and whoever is responsible for that should you know See the door, but oh
- 16:34[SPEAKER_06]: You know, that's not going to happen in the course of the best thing to happen last night for the city taxpayers has been tabling the tax level you think.
- 16:43[SPEAKER_06]: Okay.
- 16:43[SPEAKER_06]: The dock was pissed.
- 16:45[SPEAKER_06]: The pro-tem mayor was pissed last night because he was the one vote that wanted to not table it.
- 16:54[SPEAKER_13]: Well, the local law in question would have overwritten the tax camp.
- 17:00[SPEAKER_13]: So three of the members wanted to table it.
- 17:02[SPEAKER_13]: The mayor wasn't there.
- 17:05[SPEAKER_13]: she would have voted in favor of overriding so would uh... himble and i think their brand would have i don't know about the other two they didn't want to take the chance last night though of having a two there's a chance that there might be some reasonable people here not want to do that you know looks like the doctors want to spend spend but at least they want to table in disgust uh... but anyway that's all i got today okay thanks
- 17:33[SPEAKER_13]: You know, I was thinking one of the things that they could do, if they just can't bring themselves to cut anything or do anything.
- 17:41[SPEAKER_13]: My recollection is, and if I'm wrong, just let me know, but I think the city charter says if you don't adopt a budget, a proposed budget by the first meeting in June whenever that is, then whatever the city manager's proposed budget is becomes the spending plan.
- 18:01[SPEAKER_13]: for the coming fiscal year.
- 18:03[SPEAKER_13]: Now, there's still a tax cap in place.
- 18:06[SPEAKER_13]: So what would happen is, if you did that, that would be the spending plan, but the city manager would have to manage it.
- 18:16[SPEAKER_13]: Summers is job, I don't know.
- 18:17[SPEAKER_13]: I think that's what the job is, city manager.
- 18:20[SPEAKER_13]: What have to manage the expenditures throughout the year to conform with the fact that property taxes could only go up 3% under the tax cap?
- 18:32[SPEAKER_13]: Yeah, just don't adopt a budget and then that forces the issue.
- 18:38[SPEAKER_13]: Now there were people last night who were asking for higher taxes and they were equating at saying, I'm going to, that's what, you know, just for the price of Netflix, I can, you know, we can have this and all that, I don't know.
- 18:52[SPEAKER_13]: I understand when you say, well, it's only $20 a month.
- 18:56[SPEAKER_13]: that's like when they're trying to all those commercials for like starving Ukrainians and starving dogs and uh... mangled uh... military people there's a well it's just eleven dollars a month it's just whatever and i was trying to distill it down to that but there's so many other things going up to so i don't know how i feel about it but i will say that the people who spoke out
- 19:24[SPEAKER_13]: Um, made their case and, you know, did a good job.
- 19:28[SPEAKER_13]: Okay.
- 19:31[SPEAKER_13]: Sounds good.
- 19:33[SPEAKER_13]: Ah, what else have we got going on?
- 19:39[SPEAKER_13]: Hmm.
- 19:43[SPEAKER_13]: Oh, latest births.
- 19:44[SPEAKER_13]: Let's see what people are naming their kids.
- 19:46[SPEAKER_13]: Like, up at Carthage Hospital.
- 19:48[SPEAKER_13]: We'll see what they're doing up there.
- 19:55[SPEAKER_13]: Oh my goodness.
- 19:58[SPEAKER_13]: Four names, Drailin.
- 20:00[SPEAKER_13]: This is not including the last name.
- 20:01[SPEAKER_13]: I'm not interested in mentioning that.
- 20:04[SPEAKER_13]: I forgot four first names, Drailin, D-R-A-E-I-L-I-N. Al-Fia, Mary and Morgan.
- 20:13[SPEAKER_13]: Or no, Al-Fia, Mary is one.
- 20:15[SPEAKER_13]: So three names.
- 20:17[SPEAKER_13]: Six pounds, 12 and a half ounces.
- 20:20[SPEAKER_13]: But Drailin is the first name.
- 20:23[SPEAKER_13]: Here's one, a Valerie, nine pounds eight ounces, that's a big baby.
- 20:27[SPEAKER_13]: Those are big baby, right there.
- 20:30[SPEAKER_13]: Um, here's one, a lia.
- 20:36[SPEAKER_13]: Hmm, not real bad.
- 20:37[SPEAKER_13]: And here's a Bryson.
- 20:40[SPEAKER_13]: And Elsey, not Elsey.
- 20:43[SPEAKER_13]: Boy, you know the grief that poor girl is going to have to take about the, Oh, you were contented, cow.
- 20:50[SPEAKER_13]: Yeah, all of that stuff.
- 20:52[SPEAKER_13]: Not a good thing, not a good thing.
- 20:56[SPEAKER_13]: Here's Rebecca, I like that name.
- 20:59[SPEAKER_13]: Rebecca, Sunnybrook Farm fame.
- 21:01[SPEAKER_13]: Four-pound six little, and the light hope she does well.
- 21:08[SPEAKER_13]: There's a Jacob spell drawing, J.A.K.
- 21:10[SPEAKER_13]: O.B.
- 21:11[SPEAKER_13]: I hate it when people give a kid an aim and spell it wrong, I think that's dumb.
- 21:18[SPEAKER_13]: There's a Philip.
- 21:24[SPEAKER_13]: Lydia L. Y. D. I.
- 21:26[SPEAKER_13]: That's a good name.
- 21:29[SPEAKER_13]: Charlotte.
- 21:29[SPEAKER_13]: That's a good name.
- 21:33[SPEAKER_13]: Banks is in river banks.
- 21:36[SPEAKER_13]: I don't know about that.
- 21:37[SPEAKER_13]: Here's a hazel.
- 21:38[SPEAKER_13]: Oh my god.
- 21:40[SPEAKER_13]: I thought that name went like birth and ethyl.
- 21:43[SPEAKER_13]: I thought that was out of circulation.
- 21:44[SPEAKER_13]: But there is a hazel.
- 21:48[SPEAKER_13]: Yep.
- 21:50[SPEAKER_13]: And that's going to be kind of nice.
- 21:55[SPEAKER_13]: Now, do you remember Hazel the Maid?
- 22:02[SPEAKER_13]: Oh, yeah.
- 22:02[SPEAKER_13]: Is that before your time?
- 22:06[SPEAKER_13]: Here's one, Ace, that's a good name.
- 22:09[SPEAKER_13]: Zane, I like kids being born of a cartridge.
- 22:14[SPEAKER_13]: Melissa, Riker, R-Y-K-E-R, I don't know about that.
- 22:27[SPEAKER_13]: Timothy with two m's.
- 22:29[SPEAKER_13]: Come on.
- 22:30[SPEAKER_13]: That's not how you spell it.
- 22:32[SPEAKER_13]: Oh my god.
- 22:33[SPEAKER_13]: There's a brave land to go with the Drailin earlier.
- 22:37[SPEAKER_13]: Danielle.
- 22:40[SPEAKER_13]: Here's a Sam.
- 22:42[SPEAKER_13]: And then Alena.
- 22:43[SPEAKER_13]: Those are the kids born.
- 22:45[SPEAKER_13]: They're Carthage area hospital.
- 22:49[SPEAKER_13]: And there's a lot of them up there.
- 22:52[SPEAKER_13]: Yeah.
- 22:56[SPEAKER_13]: Hmm.
- 23:01[SPEAKER_13]: Well, let's see.
- 23:02[SPEAKER_13]: 49% of Americans say they mostly get their news because they happen to come across it, not because they're actively seeking it out.
- 23:16[SPEAKER_13]: So half the people in the country don't watch a regular newscast or read a paper or do anything.
- 23:26[SPEAKER_13]: Wow.
- 23:32[SPEAKER_13]: Mayor claims foil requests impacting budget, well, that's an bolstered spot.
- 23:44[SPEAKER_13]: Yeah, they claim they're the cost of processing them all as added 25 grand of their budget.
- 23:48[SPEAKER_13]: Well,
- 23:49[SPEAKER_13]: You know, you wouldn't have as many foil requests if you really believed in transparency.
- 23:56[SPEAKER_13]: All these people use your transparency, and then they stifle every foil request that comes in.
- 24:04[SPEAKER_13]: You shouldn't even have to go through all you should just be able to ask for it without going through all that nonsense.
- 24:09[SPEAKER_13]: But it's all of the secret of, oh my God, you know, I think I'll find close doors people.
- 24:16[SPEAKER_13]: But after you're doing your on the air,
- 24:22[SPEAKER_08]: But after doing it on the air, Mayor, on the national scene, I see where this really bothers me, the Democrats were over to Spain and run the country down over there.
- 24:33[SPEAKER_13]: Terrible.
- 24:34[SPEAKER_08]: You know, if you want to do that, do it in your own country.
- 24:37[SPEAKER_13]: Yep.
- 24:38[SPEAKER_08]: You know, I don't like the Spain but it's no help to us in this war.
- 24:41[SPEAKER_08]: Also, you know, the supposed to be one of our allies, I believe.
- 24:45[SPEAKER_08]: I believe, Senator Murphy's involved in it, also.
- 24:49[SPEAKER_13]: He's a jerk.
- 24:50[SPEAKER_08]: Uh, Corey Borker, that guy belongs on an industry track that guy is not right in the head.
- 24:55[SPEAKER_08]: He ran for president, I think he lasted a week.
- 24:58[SPEAKER_08]: I don't see anybody on the Democratic side that could get elected president right now.
- 25:02[SPEAKER_08]: I'll be honest with you.
- 25:03[SPEAKER_13]: Yeah, well, Corey Borker.
- 25:04[SPEAKER_13]: Well, you know, we have 75 million people who would vote for Corey Borker today.
- 25:08[SPEAKER_08]: Are you kidding me?
- 25:09[SPEAKER_08]: Wow.
- 25:10[SPEAKER_13]: The same ones are voted for a Kamala.
- 25:12[SPEAKER_08]: Wow, the guy's a cry baby.
- 25:14[SPEAKER_13]: Yeah.
- 25:16[SPEAKER_08]: he's been a disaster in Minnesota.
- 25:19[SPEAKER_08]: I wonder if he got the corruption cleaned up for you when over there.
- 25:22[SPEAKER_14]: That don't know.
- 25:23[SPEAKER_08]: Many as a dial as he costs, could this country?
- 25:26[SPEAKER_14]: Yeah.
- 25:27[UNKNOWN]: He's the police, lobs and migrants.
- 25:31[UNKNOWN]: And he almost was the second most powerful man in the country.
- 25:34[SPEAKER_13]: Oh my God.
- 25:35[SPEAKER_13]: Believe that mayor?
- 25:36[SPEAKER_13]: Staggering, yeah.
- 25:37[UNKNOWN]: But that really burns me up.
- 25:39[UNKNOWN]: You could run the country down over here.
- 25:40[SPEAKER_08]: We used to it.
- 25:42[SPEAKER_13]: I see the labor sector.
- 25:45[SPEAKER_08]: you know just seats in the ground you know I don't like it's right do you watch a council meeting last night I just see a mirror I heard a ball of dull but uh nothing on the tax cap they tabled it but yeah yeah they're not going to lay anybody off either I guess sorry Frank that's the way it goes here more tone yeah you know that's what you're going to make cuts that's what you're going to have to do if you want to make serious cuts but now I'm going to
- 26:15[SPEAKER_13]: No, I wouldn't think so.
- 26:16[SPEAKER_08]: You know, I'm not a big fan of Dr. Kim, believe it, Mayor.
- 26:19[SPEAKER_13]: He's made a couple of statements, I don't like, you know, lately they're... Well, he said last night, we don't want to be a town where old people just sitting there, house and celebrate that the taxes didn't go up.
- 26:31[SPEAKER_08]: We're getting out of people on his income bracket, he doesn't seem to realize that.
- 26:36[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah.
- 26:36[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah.
- 26:37[SPEAKER_08]: I believe he was a physician or a neurosurgeon.
- 26:39[SPEAKER_13]: Surgeon, you know.
- 26:41[SPEAKER_08]: me and other people we're not in that income bracket doctor you can't relate to an habit you want to like me it's been around thirty thousand a year right if I make that much you know really yeah I can't relate to isn't come back who knows but he said a few things I didn't like that with one of the steam and these people from the zoo are they from the area mayor do you know or well I don't know I think some of the ones who spoke were from the city
- 27:11[SPEAKER_13]: they said they were I'll take the word for it.
- 27:13[SPEAKER_08]: I know that sir really put all 75% of it with people who don't live in water town.
- 27:19[SPEAKER_14]: Yeah.
- 27:19[SPEAKER_08]: Dr. Irwin put that out through the DACC.
- 27:22[SPEAKER_08]: You have to leave you work still and talk about, you know, I remember that sir very had called up at the time.
- 27:29[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah, a lot of people I want to do but they haven't got to help pay for it.
- 27:32[SPEAKER_08]: Even though the county does put some money toward it.
- 27:35[SPEAKER_13]: Well I'd be in favor of advocating more of a regional approach on funding
- 27:41[SPEAKER_13]: a unified management structure up in the park.
- 27:44[SPEAKER_13]: We don't even know what the whole park cost to be trading.
- 27:48[SPEAKER_08]: Oh yeah, mine boggling.
- 27:49[SPEAKER_08]: It's not the only thing the zoo is not the only thing that's secret behind closed storage, you know.
- 27:54[SPEAKER_13]: Well what about how come nobody ask about the speed bumps last night because they were told not to.
- 28:00[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah.
- 28:01[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah, I think you're right something's going on there.
- 28:02[SPEAKER_08]: We're probably never here anything on it.
- 28:06[SPEAKER_08]: You know,
- 28:09[SPEAKER_13]: Well, first of all, if you were taking the speed bumps out, and there would have to have been a decision you didn't need them, but normally that's not newsworthy, that kind of thing.
- 28:20[SPEAKER_13]: Like I said, it's like moving my trash can from one side of the driveway to the other.
- 28:24[SPEAKER_13]: It's not newsworthy.
- 28:25[SPEAKER_13]: So you wouldn't put out a press release unless
- 28:29[SPEAKER_13]: unless I think they're legal counsel maybe the new the guy that looks like Zora and I'm down either.
- 28:35[SPEAKER_13]: I think they're new legal counsel probably to advise them.
- 28:40[SPEAKER_13]: You got to be more conciliatory on this because you're screwed otherwise just you know they were sitting there saying oh there's nothing wrong with it and all of that and then they wouldn't tell you who authorized putting him in.
- 28:58[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah, both sides yeah, there's a place for people for that's not the place I don't think they're totally unnecessary with a handle you know, yeah, sir in place you need to beat them to like parking lots for the hospital police is like that yeah, there you could be there, but that's a city up there.
- 29:19[SPEAKER_08]: I don't know who could hold K debt to begin with I think it was public works.
- 29:23[SPEAKER_08]: I mean, I mean, yeah
- 29:26[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah, I think they probably had a case against the city, so.
- 29:30[SPEAKER_13]: Well, they may still, and I think they're trying to hear any more on it.
- 29:33[SPEAKER_13]: They may be trying to, this may be an homage to the victim's family, I don't know.
- 29:38[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah, one thing on the school board, do you know how much the school board is going up the last five years, Mayor?
- 29:44[SPEAKER_13]: A lot.
- 29:46[SPEAKER_08]: Any idea?
- 29:47[SPEAKER_13]: 30 million?
- 29:48[SPEAKER_08]: You got it.
- 29:49[SPEAKER_08]: Now, that's not all along, Dr. Schmeekle.
- 29:51[SPEAKER_08]: He hasn't been here for five years.
- 29:53[SPEAKER_08]: That's about six, seven million dollars a year.
- 29:58[SPEAKER_08]: Wow, I'm more than Indian River, which is amazing.
- 30:03[UNKNOWN]: Huh.
- 30:03[SPEAKER_08]: They get a lot more state aid in Indian River because of the military children, you know, but you're going to spend a lot of money that catch up with Indian River on a school much and it'll be twice the size of the city's budget.
- 30:15[SPEAKER_08]: Wow, that's amazing also.
- 30:18[SPEAKER_13]: Yeah.
- 30:18[SPEAKER_13]: You know, hey, did you see those robots in that marathon over in China?
- 30:23[SPEAKER_08]: Just I did.
- 30:24[SPEAKER_13]: I think that's incredible.
- 30:29[SPEAKER_13]: No, no, no.
- 30:29[SPEAKER_13]: I think the real robots think so.
- 30:32[SPEAKER_13]: I don't know.
- 30:32[SPEAKER_13]: About half of them fell down, but that's better than last year.
- 30:36[SPEAKER_13]: So I think it's exciting.
- 30:39[SPEAKER_13]: You know, they say that robots are going to be the instrumental in helping to care for the elderly.
- 30:46[SPEAKER_13]: All right, lonely people, that kind of stuff.
- 30:49[SPEAKER_13]: Because you know, you go to these any kind of a nursing home, things have stretched thin.
- 30:54[SPEAKER_13]: You need some help there.
- 30:57[SPEAKER_13]: I think the robots can help.
- 30:59[SPEAKER_13]: I don't know how much they can do physically, but they can certainly feed the patients and they can talk to them and... That's amazing what they can do today.
- 31:09[SPEAKER_13]: You know, you get to be our age, angry man, and you just want somebody to agree with you all the time.
- 31:15[SPEAKER_13]: So, if you can find a robot that'll just say, yeah, yeah, Mayor, that you make a lot of sense there, yeah.
- 31:22[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah, okay, Mayor, all ready.
- 31:24[SPEAKER_13]: Okay, thank you.
- 31:26[SPEAKER_13]: That's what I'd like an agreeable robot right there somebody wants to watch what I want to watch on TV and somebody who sits there in a grease with me on everything okay is there anything wrong with that and somebody who'll go over and get me something to drink or eat or something if I want it oh boy that's progress that'd be progress yeah
- 31:57[SPEAKER_13]: massive and uh... coffee they've got to take it down they got the new one built right behind it that's going to be nice pointy doing nice to have that train i can't believe those people like milly wanted to they were trying to block that nice one on washington street they wanted to play the property to stay there and that was crazy but uh... no this one on uh... coffee in a massive it's going to be nice so uh...
- 32:27[SPEAKER_13]: Um... Well, they still work to do on the new ones, some sighting and all that, but uh...
- 32:36[SPEAKER_13]: It's gonna look nice.
- 32:37[SPEAKER_13]: And you know, it's something that I learned many years ago, Jerry Hiller told me this when he was sitting manager.
- 32:43[SPEAKER_13]: How is this, sir?
- 32:43[SPEAKER_13]: Fine.
- 32:45[SPEAKER_13]: But what drives assessment is commercial property.
- 32:48[SPEAKER_13]: So when a seven brew comes in, you may say, Well, this is the coffee shop.
- 32:51[SPEAKER_13]: Yes, yes, the coffee shop.
- 32:53[SPEAKER_13]: Yeah, I can hear it, but that's what drives assessments up.
- 32:57[SPEAKER_13]: It's those things that are assessed for a lot of money.
- 32:59[SPEAKER_13]: Same thing with this store.
- 33:00[SPEAKER_13]: It'll be assessed for more than the previous one.
- 33:04[SPEAKER_13]: Because we don't have much growth in other areas.
- 33:06[SPEAKER_13]: Okay?
- 33:08[SPEAKER_13]: Alright, 755, 1240, and we'll be back with more in a moment.

- 36:33[SPEAKER_13]: They got new cards to play if they fighting resumes, really?
- 36:39[SPEAKER_13]: Secret weapon or something?
- 36:42[SPEAKER_13]: No.
- 36:42[SPEAKER_13]: It's gonna be difficult, aren't they?
- 36:44[SPEAKER_13]: They still have a lot of weapons there, so they're not gonna be easy.
- 36:48[SPEAKER_13]: And what about all these missing scientists?
- 36:51[SPEAKER_13]: Five dead, six missing?
- 36:54[SPEAKER_13]: They're all involved in UFO research.
- 36:58[SPEAKER_13]: You think it was the aliens who took them?
- 37:03[SPEAKER_13]: It does seem like the circumstances, at least on some of them, seemed kind of suspect.
- 37:09[SPEAKER_13]: So I don't know what to think about it, but I...
- 37:11[SPEAKER_13]: I don't know, is it a foreign country trying to sabotage our...
- 37:17[SPEAKER_13]: Military or are there aliens taking these people?
- 37:21[SPEAKER_13]: I'd like to think there are aliens taking them.
- 37:25[SPEAKER_13]: Is there out there?
- 37:27[SPEAKER_13]: They are out there.
- 37:28[SPEAKER_13]: They're the ones who planted that 12-foot high stone at the Watertown Airport.
- 37:33[SPEAKER_13]: That was aliens.
- 37:34[SPEAKER_13]: Oh, he said, didn't you see a 2001 a space out of see that thing that was sitting there?
- 37:39[SPEAKER_13]: Yeah, they made all the noise.
- 37:43[SPEAKER_13]: Well, this is the same deal, man.
- 37:46[SPEAKER_13]: That thing was planted by aliens and somehow where other Mark Mason came across it.
- 37:51[SPEAKER_13]: He was drawn to it.
- 37:54[SPEAKER_13]: Now, he was chosen to be drawn to it and do a story on Channel 7 news.
- 38:01[SPEAKER_13]: That's what happened.
- 38:04[SPEAKER_13]: Yeah, it's crazy.
- 38:06[SPEAKER_13]: Crazy.

- 48:19[SPEAKER_13]: I failed my first time.
- 48:21[SPEAKER_13]: Yeah.
- 48:24[SPEAKER_13]: And it was on purpose.
- 48:25[SPEAKER_13]: I wanted to give myself humility and it worked.

- 48:46[SPEAKER_13]: I was mad at the time, you know.
- 48:49[SPEAKER_13]: But afterwards, in later in life, you realize it's a good idea that you fail the first time, because you're not the hot shot, you think you are, right?
- 48:58[SPEAKER_13]: Unemployment and Jefferson County, a 6.3 in February, up from six in January.
- 49:05[SPEAKER_13]: So there's some unemployment out there,
- 49:11[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, not many calls today, right?
- 49:13[SPEAKER_13]: Well not too many, but you're here now.
- 49:16[SPEAKER_05]: Well, I'm here now.
- 49:19[SPEAKER_05]: You're going to have a 10 minutes lift and think I couple of topics that apparently yesterday, I was on the news.
- 49:25[SPEAKER_05]: I don't know how well it was covered, but it was on the news.
- 49:28[SPEAKER_05]: The Senate did not pass the same devoting save act.
- 49:32[SPEAKER_05]: That's how it was.
- 49:33[SPEAKER_05]: So that looks like that you know the house has passed the twice the Senate this is no So it looks like it's not gonna make it that's that's great for the country Protect protective voting rights for people know the history of that thing.
- 49:46[SPEAKER_13]: Yeah, I know I was saying they got to get the Republicans got to give that up I'm tired of listening to Chip Roy and all of the rest of those people talk about it
- 49:56[SPEAKER_05]: Elections are run by the states they've been doing a good job all the court cases what have you have proven that 2020 was not a recollection of what have you.
- 50:05[SPEAKER_05]: So let's get past that move on and keep voting the way we do now.
- 50:11[SPEAKER_05]: Secondly, I'm surprised that you don't talk very much about Iran because this Iran could have been avoided for one major reason.
- 50:27[SPEAKER_05]: has had Mr. Trump, President Trump, not taking the joint comprehensive plan of action, what to call the JCPOA, that was the nuclear plan for the place by the Obama's administration until two years he has passed, the U.S. the U.K. France, China, and Russia, and Germany all signed onto that.
- 50:57[SPEAKER_05]: was terrifying if they were not producing any nuclear weapons or heavier.
- 51:01[SPEAKER_05]: So that could have been avoided.
- 51:02[SPEAKER_05]: He took it and just tore it up and now look where we're at.
- 51:05[SPEAKER_05]: Look at the mess that we're in right now on the wrong affecting the entire world and that whole reach and all there are some seven countries and now the Gulf or the Gulf moves, whatever.
- 51:17[SPEAKER_05]: This could have been avoided, yeah.
- 51:20[SPEAKER_05]: And people, I think on a wide basis, realize it could have been avoided.
- 51:25[SPEAKER_05]: But except the person at the top just refuses to admit that it could have been avoided.
- 51:31[SPEAKER_13]: Well probably, but you know, you just don't like drugs.
- 51:35[SPEAKER_05]: I don't think probably.
- 51:37[SPEAKER_05]: It could have been avoided to mess to the end right now.
- 51:42[SPEAKER_05]: And getting worse, we've lost 15 American soldiers already.
- 51:46[SPEAKER_05]: Say, there's an error in the Marine.
- 51:47[SPEAKER_05]: Some of them are all shot shows that it looks.
- 51:50[SPEAKER_05]: And over 300 wounded to date.
- 51:52[SPEAKER_05]: And now it's going to get the hype is going to get up more depending on what they decide to do tomorrow.
- 51:58[SPEAKER_05]: Wednesday, because that's Trump's deadline.
- 52:00[SPEAKER_05]: He gave them another deadline.
- 52:02[SPEAKER_05]: You know, he tasted seven different times he has said that the war is over.
- 52:09[SPEAKER_13]: Wow.
- 52:10[SPEAKER_05]: Seven times he said that.
- 52:12[SPEAKER_13]: Uh-huh.
- 52:13[SPEAKER_05]: All the way from March to 1st to right now.
- 52:16[SPEAKER_05]: he has said it's over it's going to be tomorrow it's over it's going to be tomorrow last week it's going to be tomorrow you know seven times he said it's over it's not over yeah it's not over until it's over really well it's going to start tomorrow though point I'm making this it could have been avoided oh I I never agree with it I'm not here to argue about it I didn't I wasn't big about going in
- 52:45[SPEAKER_05]: billion dollars a day.
- 52:46[SPEAKER_05]: To be involved with them.
- 52:49[SPEAKER_05]: You realize what the two billion dollars a day could mean to her country for it comes to childcare, Medicare, Medicaid, food stamps, cost of living, housing rates.
- 53:03[SPEAKER_05]: Two billion dollars a day that we're spending on that more and it could have been afforded.
- 53:08[SPEAKER_14]: Right.
- 53:08[SPEAKER_05]: And investment, that's not just not high
- 53:14[SPEAKER_05]: That's a fact, yep, from a lot of sources.
- 53:19[SPEAKER_05]: Well, I'm doing just reporting all what some of the sources are saying.
- 53:23[SPEAKER_05]: But that's my whole point, and I'm beside myself.
- 53:31[SPEAKER_13]: Well, there's also, yeah, I don't blame you there.
- 53:33[SPEAKER_13]: I don't blame you.
- 53:34[SPEAKER_13]: What do you got planned for the summer, Dan?
- 53:38[SPEAKER_05]: Well, I'm going to get my lawnmower all fixed up, got a new battery today from my lawnmower, so I'll get ready to take care of the yard, picking up tweets and stuff like that.
- 53:46[SPEAKER_05]: We got some pre-people coming.
- 53:48[SPEAKER_05]: I'm going to take down a couple of trees here.
- 53:50[SPEAKER_05]: They're just causing some problems.
- 53:52[SPEAKER_13]: Well, I screw it.
- 53:53[SPEAKER_13]: I mean, there's a lot of trees.
- 53:55[SPEAKER_13]: A lot of trees tend to do that.
- 53:56[SPEAKER_05]: I think my grandson's going to come up from Florida, because he's never been to New York, so I think he's going to come up from here.
- 54:02[SPEAKER_05]: He's talking about bringing him to his wife to see this up here.
- 54:06[SPEAKER_05]: So they might be coming up from a lot.
- 54:09[SPEAKER_13]: What are you taking over the pool?
- 54:12[SPEAKER_05]: I haven't seen him in 20 years.
- 54:15[SPEAKER_13]: Really?
- 54:15[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 54:16[SPEAKER_13]: Well, that would be nice.

- 54:19[SPEAKER_13]: Yeah.
- 54:21[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 54:21[SPEAKER_05]: It's funny.
- 54:22[SPEAKER_05]: You know who he works for.
- 54:23[SPEAKER_05]: Who say who is his number one employer?
- 54:25[SPEAKER_05]: And he's a welder too, by the way.
- 54:27[SPEAKER_05]: He's a welder.
- 54:28[UNKNOWN]: Well, he works for my Elon Musk.

- 55:12[SPEAKER_07]: I mean, what would have been enough, Dan?
- 55:14[SPEAKER_07]: What?
- 55:15[SPEAKER_07]: 75 years of terrorism?
- 55:19[SPEAKER_07]: I mean, somebody had to do something Dan, you know, quit allowing the Trump hate to affect every aspect of your life.
- 55:30[SPEAKER_07]: I mean, you know, it's ridiculous.

- 55:49[SPEAKER_07]: I don't hate that.
- 55:50[SPEAKER_07]: I hate dead for the twisting and the absolute across the board partisanship.
- 55:56[SPEAKER_07]: He could look at anything and blame Trump.

- 57:46[SPEAKER_07]: Anything.

- 57:49[SPEAKER_07]: You know, as far as this voting thing, you know, as long as people can vote with no
- 57:56[SPEAKER_07]: documentation then we don't really have an election so what are your thoughts on the speed bumps well whoever authorize that is going to cost a city and a lot of money and that's really I went over my night went up and looked at it at one point and you know that the concept is not so bad but those things were so high they were I mean
- 58:23[SPEAKER_07]: You had to be home.
- 58:24[SPEAKER_07]: You had to just about stop to go over those things without smashing up your vehicle.
- 58:29[SPEAKER_07]: And you know, somebody's going to pay and it's going to be the taxpayers.
- 58:34[SPEAKER_07]: It reminds me of the Harrisville school, but where they did this.
