  There is a question in the universe that everyone asks, and that is why God did you let this happen?

  So I have a question for you here on Godly Hacks today.

  Have you ever heard people say, well, God must have allowed this for a reason.

  When a child dies, a woman is attacked, a family is shattered,
• 0:31
  disease ravages a body, a murder happens, wars break out, and people are like, well, God allowed it.
• 0:38
  But what if this is not the right picture of God at all?

  What if suffering didn't come from the hand of a loving father,
• 0:46
  but a fallen world, stolen dominion, and a devil that came to kill, steal, and destroy.

  Today, I want to give you three secrets about suffering that will help you to
• 0:59
  stop blaming God, start understanding your authority, and see why Jesus came.

  Because God didn't create this world full of rape and murder and torment and
• 1:08
  disease, and Jesus came to redeem us and take back what the devil stole.

  So by the end of this broadcast, you're going to see this clearly,

  that God isn't the problem.

  Suffering entered. Where did it come from? Let's address this first.

  Suffering came through the fall of man, not the heart of God.

  Do you understand that? It came from the fall of man, not the heart of God.

  God didn't create man for pain, disease, fear, oppression.

  He created us to rule, reign, and multiply.

  In Genesis 1.26, God said, let us make man in our image after our likeness. Let them have dominion.

  That doesn't sound like get run over like a railroad train.

  Let them have dominion over the fish of the air, the fowl of the air,
• 2:23
  the cattle, the earth, and every creepy thing.
• 2:26
  Okay, that's good news for me, because I hate snakes, so that's good.

  God created man in his own image, and the image of God created him male and female.

  God blessed them and said, be fruitful, multiply, replenish the earth,
• 2:38
  and subdue it, and have dominion over the fish, over the fowl,
• 2:44
  and over everything that moves on the earth. This was God's original plan.

  Blessing, dominion, authority, and increase. Let me say that again.
• 2:53
  Blessing, dominion, authority, and increase. But Adam disobeyed God,
• 2:59
  and through that, sin entered.

  The Bible says in Genesis 2.16, the Lord commanded the man, saying,
• 3:06
  of every tree you can eat, but of the tree of knowledge of good and evil, don't touch it.
• 3:11
  They're like, oh, that's the one I think I want. Kind of like how kids are now.
• 3:16
  And the Bible says in Genesis 3, the serpent was more subtle than any beast
• 3:21
  of the field that God made.
• 3:22
  And he said to the woman, now, don't tell me about deception. I know.
• 3:27
  He said to the woman, did God really say don't eat of the tree of garden?
• 3:31
  And the woman said to the serpent, well, we're not supposed to eat of this tree,
• 3:34
  but of the fruit of the tree in the middle of the garden, God said,
• 3:37
  don't eat, don't touch it lest you die. That's not really what he said.
• 3:41
  And the serpent said, well, you're not going to die. Oh, here we go, twisting the tooth.
• 3:45
  You're not going to die. God knows that your eyes will be open and you'll be
• 3:50
  like God's knowing good from evil.
• 3:51
  When she saw that the tree was good for food, even though God said,
• 3:55
  don't do it, don't do it. She did it anyway.
• 3:58
  And that's the problem, y'all. And this is where it started to go to hell in a handmask right here.

  So the curse, toil, sorrow, all that stuff began there.

  Romans 5.12, whereby one man sin entered into the world and death by sin,
• 4:16
  death passed upon all men for all have sinned.

  So the first secret is that suffering is in the earth because sin came into
• 4:27
  the world through man's fall.
• 4:29
  It did not come because God wanted it. It didn't come even because rebellion.

  God made Eden. Man opened the gate to hell's system.

  You might not like that. You might be mad at the woman, but the man let her
• 4:42
  do it. But that's what happened.

  So sin came. It corrupted. It started destroying. It started bringing death.

  All the stuff. That's where it originated. All right. Hap 2.

  Satan. Satan is the present source of destruction.

  Not God. God is not raping, murdering, molesting her. I hate when people say,

  God did it, God allowed it.

  I'm going to hit you with something in about two more minutes.

  Two more times. When somebody says God allowed it, wait until I tell you in
• 5:15
  just a few minutes who actually did allow it.

  You're going to be shocked your little britches off. I'll tell you that.

  All right. Secret two. Satan is the present source of destruction.

  The Bible doesn't teach that God is out here raping people, killing children
• 5:30
  with sickness and disease. John 10, 10.

  The thief comes to steal, kill, and destroy, but I came that they could have
• 5:39
  life and that more abundant.
• 5:41
  Right there in that sentence, God is saying, I have nothing to do with this.
• 5:44
  God is saying, I came to bring life.
• 5:46
  If there's death, it's not life. If there's rape, it's not life.
• 5:50
  If there's murder, that's not life. If something is stolen from you, that is not life.
• 5:54
  If it's disease riddling through your body, that's not life.
• 5:57
  And God said, hey, that's not me, that is a thief. Does a thief knock and ask permission?

  No, a thief is sneaky. A thief finds a way in.
• 6:08
  The devil is a thief. God doesn't do suffering, just so you know.

  Well, Lisa, I heard, okay, just stick with me. Just hold still.

  The Bible doesn't teach that he's hurting people. It teaches that the thief
• 6:20
  comes to kill, steal, and destroy, and that God came so we could have life and more abundantly.

  Jesus drew the line, the thief steals, kills, and destroys, but the Lord gave life.

  Luke 10, 18, and he said, "'I saw Satan fall like lightning.',
• 6:35
  Come on. The devil is on the earth. Revelation 12, 9.

  The great dragon was kept cast out. The serpent called the devil who deceives the whole world.
• 6:46
  He was cast out into the earth and his angels cast out with him.
• 6:49
  Then in Revelation 12, it says, therefore rejoice you heavens that you dwell in them.

  Woe to the inhabitants of the earth for the devil has come down having great wrath. Why?

  Because he knows he has a short time.

  So the Bible's like, uh-oh, world. This isn't good. He's down there now.

  God is telling you who's doing it. Yeah, Lisa, but God allows it.

  Okay. Hold on. Stick with me.

  1 Peter 5.8. Be sober and vigilant. Your adversary is like a roaring lion seeking
• 7:21
  whom he can devour. He can't get everybody.
• 7:23
  He can't devour you if you know what God said.

  How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and power who went about
• 7:30
  doing good, healing all that were oppressed of the devil.

  Sickness and oppression were not created by God. The Bible says that Jesus healed
• 7:37
  people that were oppressed of the devil.
• 7:39
  So when someone tells you God allows cancer, that's false. When they say God
• 7:43
  took that child, that's false.
• 7:44
  When they say that God gave that mother cancer because he needed her in heaven,
• 7:48
  false, a thousand times false.
• 7:50
  So God doesn't do those things. The thief does.

  1 John 5.19, we know that we are God and the whole world lies in the wickedness.

  That doesn't mean that God surrenders his throne. It means that this present
• 8:03
  world system is under satanic influence.
• 8:06
  So if you blame God for what the devil's doing, you will run from the only source of help you have.

  And that's what the devil wants. He wants you to blame God. He wants you to
• 8:14
  be mad at God. He wants you to say, God did this. God, no, that's not true.

  Sometimes it's choices. Sometimes it's things, whatever.

  All right. I got to charge my... Oopsies. Hold on. I got to do a charge.

  Okay. Where were we? Oh, yeah. Okay. All right. Hack number three.

  Jesus came to destroy the works of the devil and give us authority.

  God's answer to the suffering in the world is not indifference.

  His answer was Jesus. he didn't look at the broken world and say oh so sad too
• 8:53
  bad he sent his son to rescue you and rescue me first john 3 8 he that commits
• 8:58
  sin is of the devil the devil has sinned from the beginning for this purpose
• 9:02
  the son of god was manifest that he would destroy the works of the devil.

  Hebrews 2 14 through 15 as much as the children are partakers of flesh and blood
• 9:12
  he also took part of the same that though death he might destroy him who had
• 9:17
  the power of death that's the devil,
• 9:18
  and deliver them through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.

  How about Colossians 2.14, blotting out the handwriting that was against us,
• 9:28
  which was contrary, and took it out of the way, nailing it to the cross,
• 9:32
  spoiled principalities and powers, made a show of them openly.

  What does all that mean, y'all?

  It means he's got no power. It means when Jesus came, he ripped the snot out
• 9:42
  of the devil, took away his power, took away his authority, He said, you can't do that.

  Now I'm gonna sum it up for you before I'm done, but just keep listening.

  Revelation 118, I hope you're okay. Let me pray for you. Lord,

  help them to get all this.
• 9:54
  I am he that lives and was dead and behold, I'm alive forevermore.

  I have the keys of hell and death.

  Jesus took authority over death and hell and triumphed over the devil.

  And then he delegated, okay.

  This is the key to the resistance.

  Forgive me if I just bastardized your beautiful language. One day I hope to

  I am he that lives and was dead, and behold, I'm alive forevermore,

  and I have the keys of hell and death.

  He took authority over death and hell and Satan.

  Luke 10, 19. Behold, I give you power.

  You. Who's got the power? I got the power. You do.

  Behold, I give you power to tread on serpents and over all the power of the
• 10:45
  enemy and nothing will hurt you.

  And well, Lisa, stuff is hurting people. Yeah, Mark 16, 17.

  These signs will follow those who believe in my name. They'll cast out devils, speak with new tongues.

  They'll take up serpents. If they drink anything deadly, it won't hurt them.

  They'll lay hands on the sick.

  The reason that bad stuff happens is the authority that was given to you and me is not being used.

  Let me tell you something else before I read these verses. God is not,

  I got a shocker for you. Why does God allow it? He's not, you are.

  That is so rude, Lisa. What do you mean? Just what I said.

  God gave the earth, look, I want you to, I know you can't shut your eyes,
• 11:24
  you're probably driving, but I want you to see this picture in your head as clear as day.

  Pretend that God has a little globe in his big giant hand.

  And he takes that globe and he gives it to Adam.
• 11:35
  And that ding dong lets his wife eat of the tree and get deceived,
• 11:40
  and she gives the globe to the devil.
• 11:44
  Who is in charge of the whole earth? The devil. Who's the God of the earth?
• 11:49
  The devil. Not God. God's not the God of the earth.
• 11:51
  The Bible says the earth he gave to man, and heaven belongs to God.
• 11:55
  So earth is ours, heaven is his, and we, like dummies, gave it to the devil.
• 12:01
  So God did not allow sickness, suffering, pain, and disease. that would be you and me.

  But because God is awesome and because he loves you so much,
• 12:11
  he didn't leave you sitting there looking in your empty hands where the earth
• 12:15
  used to be and looking over at the devil like he just stole your ball at the
• 12:19
  kickball game or if you're cricket or whatever country you're in, whatever sport.
• 12:24
  The devil took your ball. Okay, God gave you that ball and the devil took it.
• 12:28
  And Jesus didn't stand there and go, I know that's sad. you didn't have a ball no more.
• 12:33
  No, Jesus came and goes, give me that ball and took it right out of the hands
• 12:36
  of the devil and gave it right back to you and me.
• 12:39
  But the problem is there are people on earth that don't know Jesus.
• 12:44
  So they are under the suffering of the wicked one.
• 12:48
  But you, you who love him, you who claim to know Jesus, you who are full of
• 12:53
  God, you have delegated authority. Jesus gave it to you.
• 12:58
  You go lay hands on the sick and they'll recover. You go do something.

  You know, you ought to go to my, after this, you ought to go to my,
• 13:06
  or how do I think, YouTube page at the Lisa Hanson. And there's a testimony.

  It said, guy healed in the grocery store. Go see it. I prayed over this dude
• 13:13
  in the grocery store and go see what happened to him.
• 13:16
  You have authority over the devil. He doesn't have authority over you.

  So if your grandmother is dying, if somebody's sick, go lay your hands on them.

  Use your authority and curse it. Well, what if they don't get healed? That's between God.

  But at least you tried. but know that God is not taking people.

  God's not snatching people.

  Matthew 28, Jesus came and said, all power is given to me under heaven and earth.

  Go and teach the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

  In Hosea 4, 6, it doesn't say that God's people are dying because of the devil.

  It says, my people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.

  Jesus didn't leave the church powerless in a dangerous world. He armed us.

  And the final truth is that the only suffering permitted by God for you and
• 14:02
  me is persecution for the gospel. That's it.

  It's not the works of the devil. It is a type of suffering in the New Testament that is not sickness.

  It is not poverty. It's persecution for the word's sake.

  You know, it said, having no root in themselves afterwards when affliction or
• 14:23
  persecution comes for the word's sake.

  Not affliction, that's sickness persecution that would be jail time that would
• 14:29
  be beating that's the suffering unfortunately that we don't get delivered from
• 14:33
  although if people pray you can because that's what happened to peter he was
• 14:37
  in jail and he got out paul was in jail and he got out,
• 14:40
  second timothy 3 12 yay and all that will live godly in christ jesus will suffer
• 14:45
  persecution so that's no fun but that's what the bible says.

  Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness sake,
• 14:53
  for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

  So all throughout the Bible, I don't want to read on and on,

  but you can see Bible verses that show you persecution is part of the package, unfortunately.

  But sickness, disease. So the next time somebody has cancer and somebody tells

  you, why did God allow it?

  I hope that you'll say, God didn't. We did when we let sin in the world.

  But thank God for Jesus. He gave the authority. Let me go pray for them.

  Hack one is that suffering entered the world through Adam's fall.

  Hack two, Satan is the source of that suffering, stealing, killing,

  destroying, and oppressing in the fallen world.

  Hack three, Jesus came to destroy the works of the devil and to give you and me authority.

  He delegated the authority to his church so that we can rise above.

  We submit to God, we resist the devil, and he will flee.

  God is not the destroyer, God is the deliverer. Jesus did not send suffering.

  Jesus went about doing good, healing all that were oppressed of the devil.

  When you understand where suffering really comes from, you can stop blaming
• 16:01
  God, start resisting the devil, and begin to walk in the authority,
• 16:06
  come on, that Jesus gave you.

  I love you so much, and I am telling you that disease and cancers and foul things
• 16:14
  and rape and murder, that doesn't come from God.

  He is not allowing it. You and me allowed it when sin came in,
• 16:21
  but we can take dominion and say, nope, not on my watch.

  If you know someone that's sick, go lay your hands on them. If you know someone
• 16:26
  that's depressed, go pray for them.

  they can resist him. They can fight him.

  They can stand strong and rebuke the devourer for your sake.

  I thank you God's sickness has to go.

  Depression must flee, that they take authority in their lives over every situation,

  and they will not fall prey to the devil's lies ever again.

  And now if you know that suffering doesn't come from God, but it does come from
• 18:26
  the devil, but you're going to knock the devil out with your authority.

  Shout a big amen in your car or wherever you are.

  Let me say some great things over you. You are powerful.

  God gave you all authority over all the power of the devil and nothing will hurt you.

  He has blotted out whatever accusation is against you on the cross and took it away from you.

  You just look at the devil and he has to run from you in terror.

  You are a mighty force to be reckoned with and the king of glory is on your side.
