- 0:00Speaker 1: Where should I be get?
- 0:00Speaker 2: Can we talk about this?
- 0:01Speaker 3: Say?
- 0:02Speaker 2: What are you trying to do beyond the usual controversial talking.
- 0:10Speaker 1: Welcome to one to.
- 0:13Speaker 3: Prepare yourself, okay for Craig preparing my Deus spectacle here
- 0:20Speaker 3: particulate stimulated. It's your right there.
- 0:26Speaker 2: There, you go back, you start becoming a gen.
- 0:30Speaker 3: Is the Craigcullin Show.
- 0:33Speaker 1: Jesus, Oh no dot talking.
- 0:36Speaker 3: This station is no ultimate power in the universe. Your
- 0:39Speaker 3: host's good man, Craig.
- 0:42Speaker 1: That's right, It is the Craig Collins Show. K S
- 0:45Speaker 1: c V KGBC. Uh. Oh, I did that wrong? We
- 0:49Speaker 1: don't know. You heard Chris X talking about that a
- 0:52Speaker 1: little bit earlier. It's k S EV for sure. And
- 0:54Speaker 1: then some stuff got a little funky, which we don't know.
- 0:57Speaker 1: I think that. Uh, run on Robert and AirLand called
- 1:00Speaker 1: in to say that the other station we used to
- 1:02Speaker 1: use is now Spanish or whatever. But anyway, we'll get
- 1:06Speaker 1: to that at some point. I have a guest and
- 1:08Speaker 1: we have a whole thing we're gonna do for the
- 1:10Speaker 1: entire hour today. Let me see if this works. I'm
- 1:12Speaker 1: gonna bring him in. Brian Noonan are you there.
- 1:14Speaker 3: Old on, Craig, come by stop. Don't do wrong station.
- 1:19Speaker 1: Yeah you do, don't do that to us. KSV seven
- 1:21Speaker 1: hundred is us. And then there's another guy out there
- 1:24Speaker 1: doing other things.
- 1:25Speaker 3: Wow, I got the wrong memo. I apologize. Good to
- 1:27Speaker 3: be here, thanks for having.
- 1:28Speaker 1: Me, thrilled to have you here. So here's the thing.
- 1:31Speaker 1: You and I are debuting this podcast that we're going
- 1:34Speaker 1: to be doing, and we're calling it Collins and Noonan.
- 1:37Speaker 1: It's you and I who've been longtime friends. We've known
- 1:41Speaker 1: each other for I guess it was like twenty something years.
- 1:44Speaker 1: You've known me since I was a twenty something. It's true,
- 1:47Speaker 1: which is crazy. And we work together at WGEN Radio,
- 1:51Speaker 1: and both of us have been talking about how more
- 1:54Speaker 1: media needs to be like debate heavy but not. I
- 2:00Speaker 1: don't know what the right way to say that is.
- 2:02Speaker 1: Do you want to try give a shot at it?
- 2:05Speaker 3: It doesn't even have to be considered debate. It can
- 2:07Speaker 3: be just conversations about things we disagree with. Remember see,
- 2:11Speaker 3: I'm older than you, Craig, so I can remember back
- 2:13Speaker 3: in the day when people could disagree and we could
- 2:16Speaker 3: have conversations incorrect. Then you'd go on your merry way
- 2:19Speaker 3: and you'd get back again. Tomorrow and have a beer
- 2:21Speaker 3: and just go on and maybe maybe you'd agree on something,
- 2:24Speaker 3: maybe you'd disagree on something, but you could you could
- 2:26Speaker 3: talk about it instead of being so firmly entrenched in
- 2:29Speaker 3: one camp or another that we view everybody who doesn't
- 2:32Speaker 3: think exactly like us as an enemy. Right.
- 2:35Speaker 1: And so the Amigos, which is the show that we
- 2:37Speaker 1: have on Fridays here, they have their lovable or I
- 2:41Speaker 1: think they use other terms sometimes lefty. That would be
- 2:44Speaker 1: the judge, one of the three hosts on that show.
- 2:47Speaker 1: So I figured, why don't I try to get my
- 2:49Speaker 1: own lovable lefty If that's what you want to be called.
- 2:51Speaker 1: I doubt it. Brian White, Yeah, well no, I mean
- 2:55Speaker 1: I because it depends on the topic.
- 2:57Speaker 3: I lean a little more to the left than I
- 2:59Speaker 3: do to the right. But I think I will surprise you,
- 3:01Speaker 3: especially if we talk about one of the things that
- 3:02Speaker 3: we were planning i'd talk about today. I think you
- 3:04Speaker 3: will think you will find my opinion probably right along
- 3:10Speaker 3: my mine, very well with yours. Gotcha is that the
- 3:13Speaker 3: Chuck Schumer fart? Well, all right, now, there's two No,
- 3:17Speaker 3: it's not Chuck Schumer, because I always knew Chuck Schumer
- 3:21Speaker 3: was full of hot wind. And the other word that
- 3:23Speaker 3: I know we can't say on the radio because I've
- 3:25Speaker 3: been doing this a long time, but he's full of
- 3:27Speaker 3: that too. No, it's Governor Rabbit.
- 3:29Speaker 1: Okay, all right, well let's start there because that is
- 3:31Speaker 1: the biggest story. So a couple things and one I
- 3:34Speaker 1: don't think I sent you, but I'm gonna let the
- 3:35Speaker 1: audience know all this. And I'm not sure that we're
- 3:38Speaker 1: going to play a lot of audio because I don't
- 3:39Speaker 1: think I set it up right in the studio today
- 3:41Speaker 1: to have you plus audio and then you hear it.
- 3:44Speaker 1: But maybe maybe we'll do some. But anyway, there was
- 3:47Speaker 1: a story yesterday that several small baggies were found that
- 3:51Speaker 1: many people were claiming was math. Today the update on
- 3:56Speaker 1: that story is that it might not be math. It
- 3:58Speaker 1: might be like a powder drink that has a electrolytes
- 4:00Speaker 1: in it the people who work outside use And the
- 4:02Speaker 1: only thing I'll say about this, I'm not I'm not
- 4:04Speaker 1: trying to say and I've been saying this all week
- 4:06Speaker 1: in the show noon, and I don't know facts. Yet
- 4:09Speaker 1: no one's giving me the ability to, like, you know,
- 4:12Speaker 1: check this stuff out myself, so I assume somebody who
- 4:15Speaker 1: knows how to do that will do that, and eventually
- 4:17Speaker 1: we'll have a more definitive version of discussion here. For now,
- 4:20Speaker 1: it's the breaking news world that we live in that's
- 4:22Speaker 1: so chaotic. But I will say that, like, I'm married
- 4:26Speaker 1: to a Mexican and they do that. People do this.
- 4:29Speaker 1: I know a bunch of people in Mexico that do
- 4:31Speaker 1: they put the powder in the baggage, take the bag
- 4:33Speaker 1: lemon water.
- 4:35Speaker 3: It hydrates people who are working out in the heat. Yes,
- 4:37Speaker 3: and that's what That's what his family is saying it was.
- 4:40Speaker 3: And the DA in fact today says it's inconclusive that
- 4:44Speaker 3: it was any sort of drug. So we're hearing that
- 4:47Speaker 3: from the people who are investigating it. Sure, if you
- 4:50Speaker 3: look at if you look at that on the seat,
- 4:52Speaker 3: you can say, well, it bears a resemblance to narcotics,
- 4:56Speaker 3: and then you look at it, but yeah, it doesn't.
- 4:59Speaker 3: It doesn't seem like that's the case. And what's the
- 5:02Speaker 3: other thing that is hampering getting to the bottom of
- 5:05Speaker 3: this and getting the facts, as you say, is the
- 5:07Speaker 3: fact that nobody was wearing a body cam. Now, that
- 5:10Speaker 3: was something that's been hollered about since Minnesota. It's something
- 5:14Speaker 3: that most metropolitan police departments have adopted for years, people
- 5:19Speaker 3: wearing body cameras. So we don't know exactly what happened,
- 5:23Speaker 3: and investigators are still going around trying to pick up
- 5:26Speaker 3: I was watching Channel thirteen and looking at their coverage,
- 5:30Speaker 3: and they're piecing together little bits of a ring cam
- 5:33Speaker 3: here and a surveillance cam here.
- 5:35Speaker 1: I've looked at all those.
- 5:36Speaker 3: By the way, Yes, and you can get up to
- 5:39Speaker 3: a certain point, but you can't get to the point
- 5:41Speaker 3: of the actual shooting.
- 5:43Speaker 1: Sure, here's the thing. I'll say a couple of things
- 5:45Speaker 1: about what you said too, and I know you're gonna
- 5:48Speaker 1: not like this. This is gonna be our first trigger
- 5:49Speaker 1: point of a discussion between you and I. The excuse
- 5:52Speaker 1: that some are using for the lack of body cameras.
- 5:55Speaker 1: Have you heard what it is?
- 5:57Speaker 3: No, I just know that Tom Holman said that there
- 5:59Speaker 3: will be one now that everybody one gets to have
- 6:03Speaker 3: one in the crew.
- 6:04Speaker 1: A couple of things there. I think there was an
- 6:06Speaker 1: executive order, and I don't remember because it was in
- 6:08Speaker 1: January when Trump took over, if it was Trump or Biden,
- 6:11Speaker 1: but there's an executive order around January of when Trump
- 6:15Speaker 1: was inaugurated that said that all ICE agents are supposed
- 6:18Speaker 1: to wear body cameras, so there is a version of
- 6:20Speaker 1: a rule that's supposed to take effect. ICE has said
- 6:24Speaker 1: the democratic shutdown of the government caused them to be
- 6:26Speaker 1: delayed in implementing this, so Democrats are being blamed and
- 6:30Speaker 1: the way in which they restricted go ahead, go ahead,
- 6:34Speaker 1: go ahead.
- 6:34Speaker 3: No, you you can frame you could frame the shutdown
- 6:37Speaker 3: as the democratic shutdown, because I know that's what you
- 6:39Speaker 3: like to do.
- 6:40Speaker 1: I know that's the thing it was. Democrats will shut
- 6:43Speaker 1: it down.
- 6:44Speaker 3: No, no, let's stick to the subject that they and
- 6:50Speaker 3: then we can then we could go then we could
- 6:52Speaker 3: go back to the shutdown. But I don't want to
- 6:53Speaker 3: relitigate before the shutdown is over. But that's a weak excuse,
- 6:57Speaker 3: the fact that nobody there's because Craig, you know this,
- 7:02Speaker 3: I know you're an intelligent man.
- 7:04Speaker 1: Well, I thank you, sir.
- 7:06Speaker 3: ICE had been funded before and during the shutdown. ICE
- 7:09Speaker 3: was still getting their money, so there was so that
- 7:12Speaker 3: that excuse. They weren't getting as much more money as
- 7:15Speaker 3: they wanted, but they had still been funded. They had
- 7:18Speaker 3: still been funded, So that to me, that's that excuse
- 7:23Speaker 3: is just like scrambling to find anything. Well, we don't
- 7:26Speaker 3: have body cams, because I.
- 7:29Speaker 1: Understand what you're saying. Sometimes maybe the guy who's the
- 7:31Speaker 1: one that's putting on the cameras he's furloughed, So maybe
- 7:34Speaker 1: that was part of the problem. Maybe it wasn't the money,
- 7:36Speaker 1: Maybe it was the it guy he was. And I know,
- 7:38Speaker 1: I know we're making light of something here, and I
- 7:40Speaker 1: know this is mostly a serious thing. Yeah, that one
- 7:45Speaker 1: part is. But again there's a debate as to why.
- 7:48Speaker 1: But but anyway, they are going to try to fix that,
- 7:50Speaker 1: and they should. You and I both believe that they
- 7:52Speaker 1: should be wearing body cameras, mostly because if their narrative
- 7:56Speaker 1: is true, it is the most beneficial way to show
- 7:59Speaker 1: it right. And I know and I know, we probably
- 8:02Speaker 1: don't want to relitigate this either because it's also not
- 8:04Speaker 1: the current story in the world of the renee Goods
- 8:08Speaker 1: of videos. I saw one and it was the ice
- 8:10Speaker 1: agent holding his cell phone that seemed to be him
- 8:13Speaker 1: getting hit by a car and then you see an
- 8:14Speaker 1: angle where you see the person being moved by the vehicle.
- 8:17Speaker 1: So in my opinion, I've seen videos that prove things
- 8:20Speaker 1: that they say are true and that's very much missing
- 8:23Speaker 1: from this story in Houston, which is bad. You want
- 8:26Speaker 1: a video no matter what it shows.
- 8:28Speaker 3: Yeah, if you want to get the story out and
- 8:30Speaker 3: you want to get the story straight, we need to
- 8:32Speaker 3: see what's happening in this day and age that where
- 8:35Speaker 3: everything is on camera. Yeah, there is absolutely zero, zero
- 8:41Speaker 3: reason for law enforcement at any level not to have
- 8:44Speaker 3: body cams on, especially if you're driving unmarked vehicles. You're
- 8:49Speaker 3: guys wearing masks, you've got you're already you're already putting
- 8:53Speaker 3: a target on yourself, so right, so if you got
- 8:56Speaker 3: nothing to hide, show us.
- 8:58Speaker 1: So you referenced Gov. Governor Abbot did say yesterday and
- 9:02Speaker 1: I played that audio on the show that the Texas Rangers,
- 9:05Speaker 1: not the baseball team, the really awesome police officers, will
- 9:08Speaker 1: be investigating this on their own. And he was asked
- 9:10Speaker 1: a follow up question where he said, will this be
- 9:12Speaker 1: an independent investigation? And I wish Abbot had said it
- 9:16Speaker 1: more in a fun way, but he said it in
- 9:18Speaker 1: a very frank way, like that's all the Rangers do.
- 9:21Speaker 1: They just investigate things independently. But I wish it would
- 9:24Speaker 1: have been like it's the Rangers, man, come on, they're
- 9:26Speaker 1: gonna do this. The guys who ride the horses with
- 9:28Speaker 1: the fancy hats, they've got this, so they'll look into it.
- 9:32Speaker 1: And I was thrilled with that announcement because I do
- 9:35Speaker 1: want a definitive story told with proof that the story
- 9:39Speaker 1: is real. Not because I doubt the current narrative like
- 9:42Speaker 1: a lot of other people do, but because I simply
- 9:44Speaker 1: am willing to admit I don't know. Until we know enough,
- 9:49Speaker 1: we are allowed to say we don't know. Go ahead, noonon.
- 9:51Speaker 3: Well no, I'm just gonna applaud Governor Abbit, the mayor,
- 9:54Speaker 3: the police chief who also asked the DSP Texas Rangers
- 9:58Speaker 3: to a DPS Texas to step in, because this is
- 10:02Speaker 3: what they did in Minister, what they were arguing for,
- 10:04Speaker 3: and what they finally did in Minnesota. You want, I
- 10:07Speaker 3: want the local law enforcement agencies to get involved. I
- 10:11Speaker 3: want the Texas Rangers to come in there and look
- 10:13Speaker 3: and see. And it's the same thing we were talking
- 10:15Speaker 3: about with the body cameras. If you don't have anything
- 10:18Speaker 3: to hide, an investigation should be welcomed and you shouldn't.
- 10:23Speaker 3: And the the the look of the FBI shutting out
- 10:29Speaker 3: local law enforcement that paints a very sketchy picture. You know,
- 10:33Speaker 3: you want you want these people in there, and you
- 10:36Speaker 3: want everybody to be on the same page. And if
- 10:38Speaker 3: you're not letting them, look, they're not going to get
- 10:40Speaker 3: on the same page.
- 10:41Speaker 1: Yes, that's absolutely true. So that is the latest there.
- 10:43Speaker 1: I know a lot of people have made up their minds.
- 10:45Speaker 1: I know that you might hear some people saying more
- 10:48Speaker 1: now than before that they are willing to admit that
- 10:51Speaker 1: we don't know because it's funny. I'll say this to
- 10:54Speaker 1: you newonan and maybe this is more of a macro
- 10:56Speaker 1: discussion about this serious topic. Up until Abbott said what
- 11:00Speaker 1: Governor Abbott said, there were a lot of people that
- 11:03Speaker 1: were acting as though the narrative from Ice was just
- 11:06Speaker 1: simply true and the miniature Greg Abbott says, We're gonna
- 11:10Speaker 1: do some investigating and I don't want people to get shot,
- 11:13Speaker 1: which is definite, which is like verbatim what he said. Yeah,
- 11:16Speaker 1: once that happens, there are people who are like, well, right,
- 11:19Speaker 1: let's at least wait to see what this information is.
- 11:22Speaker 1: And the Texas Rangers just did an incredible job investigating
- 11:25Speaker 1: the horrific stuff that happened with the flooding, and can't
- 11:27Speaker 1: mystic and other places, and they outed a bunch of
- 11:30Speaker 1: really bad things that happened. They're really good at this.
- 11:32Speaker 3: Go ahead, Yeah, and it's it is a shame, and
- 11:35Speaker 3: it does go to a bigger conversation that the same
- 11:38Speaker 3: people who are willing to now have an open mind
- 11:41Speaker 3: didn't have an open mind yesterday before.
- 11:43Speaker 1: The governor didn't hear it from their team, right, right.
- 11:46Speaker 3: And so that's that's the whole thing. But you know,
- 11:49Speaker 3: good for them. I hope they get to the bottom
- 11:51Speaker 3: of this. They will find somewhere there had to be
- 11:55Speaker 3: a camera that picked something up.
- 11:56Speaker 1: Yeah, you know, you know I would think so. Well,
- 12:00Speaker 1: So I actually I'm going to talk about that. And
- 12:02Speaker 1: I don't know if that's a fair place to go,
- 12:04Speaker 1: but I want to go there. I mentioned I was
- 12:06Speaker 1: going to do it yesterday and then I didn't. You
- 12:08Speaker 1: know this, as a broadcaster, sometimes you say we're going
- 12:10Speaker 1: to talk about that in five minutes, sure, and then
- 12:12Speaker 1: you never talk about it ever. And it's an accident, right,
- 12:15Speaker 1: you don't intend to do that. I watched every video
- 12:18Speaker 1: that's out there, every single one, and some of them
- 12:21Speaker 1: are enhanced, and when they get enhanced, a whole lot
- 12:24Speaker 1: I tried to enhance it myself. You don't know if
- 12:26Speaker 1: the person who did the random enhancement added to it
- 12:29Speaker 1: or changed it, and it all gets so pixelated that
- 12:32Speaker 1: it's hard to know what the hell I'm even looking at.
- 12:34Speaker 1: But I will tell you that in one of the
- 12:35Speaker 1: videos I saw, there is the van making a U turn,
- 12:40Speaker 1: and then after the van passes, you see two ICE
- 12:44Speaker 1: agents running on foot, obviously out of a vehicle, one
- 12:48Speaker 1: relatively close to the van, because as soon as it
- 12:50Speaker 1: passes this area you see him running and then one
- 12:52Speaker 1: behind him. Where those two agents were standing as the
- 12:55Speaker 1: van was doing U turn, I can't figure it out
- 12:58Speaker 1: in the video and the angle which is I think
- 13:00Speaker 1: a gas station and you know very o.
- 13:02Speaker 3: The one through the trees. Is that the one you're
- 13:04Speaker 3: talking because I watched okay, because I watched that a
- 13:07Speaker 3: number of times too.
- 13:08Speaker 1: And you can see the two ag well if you
- 13:12Speaker 1: if you try to enhance it, it's incredibly blurry, but
- 13:14Speaker 1: if you leave it the normal way, you can easily
- 13:16Speaker 1: identify two human beings running on the sidewalk after the truck,
- 13:20Speaker 1: and the truck seems to be or the van, and
- 13:23Speaker 1: it seems to be slowing down at that point, So
- 13:25Speaker 1: the hypothesis of a lot of people is that he
- 13:26Speaker 1: had already been shot at that moment because the van
- 13:29Speaker 1: was going relatively fast in every other video well before
- 13:32Speaker 1: anybody thinks that a shot was fired. So when the
- 13:35Speaker 1: van is.
- 13:35Speaker 3: Also see the other you see one of the unmarked
- 13:38Speaker 3: vehicles in that same video make the turn after the
- 13:41Speaker 3: what makes the turn? And yeah, that's a problem. We
- 13:45Speaker 3: don't we don't see right the point where where they
- 13:50Speaker 3: actually had the interaction, where the shooting actually happened. Right,
- 13:53Speaker 3: we see there was a grainy video. I know you
- 13:55Speaker 3: saw where they were taking somebody out of the passenger side. Yes,
- 13:58Speaker 3: that's true, but we don't see the drive side. And
- 14:01Speaker 3: this is this is after the van has come to
- 14:03Speaker 3: a stop, obviously, But yeah, it's I don't know. I
- 14:08Speaker 3: don't know either, and I and when you start see
- 14:11Speaker 3: the problem is there's a lot of people You're honest,
- 14:14Speaker 3: I'm honest. We're saying we don't know.
- 14:16Speaker 1: It's honest. It's good.
- 14:17Speaker 3: Well it is good because there's a lot of people
- 14:19Speaker 3: who have who don't know either. But they're not saying
- 14:22Speaker 3: that that's true. They're going they're making all kinds of
- 14:24Speaker 3: crazy claims.
- 14:25Speaker 1: That's true.
- 14:26Speaker 3: And you can't. That's a dangerous situation, not only for
- 14:29Speaker 3: this case, but for anything that happens down the road.
- 14:32Speaker 1: I'll use it. I'll use an example to back up
- 14:34Speaker 1: what you're saying that you might not like. And so
- 14:36Speaker 1: far we're agreeing. So we're doing a terrible job of
- 14:38Speaker 1: a debate show, which is what we're saying.
- 14:40Speaker 3: This is you know what? See that's that's that show.
- 14:43Speaker 3: Now you don't have to you don't have to agree
- 14:46Speaker 3: on everything, but you can use common sense and agree
- 14:49Speaker 3: on something.
- 14:50Speaker 1: Yes, you can't absolutely. But the reason that I was
- 14:53Speaker 1: thinking about that people should have learned the lesson of
- 14:57Speaker 1: let's not be too sure of ourselves is COVID. A
- 14:59Speaker 1: lot lot of actual data came out that showed a
- 15:02Speaker 1: lot of the things we did during COVID didn't have
- 15:04Speaker 1: the level of benefit they claimed that they had, and
- 15:06Speaker 1: even more than that, that the shots didn't have the
- 15:09Speaker 1: level of benefit that they said they had. And people
- 15:11Speaker 1: got very mad, and I remember, I don't know if
- 15:13Speaker 1: it was like the New York Times, but somebody put
- 15:15Speaker 1: out an article like, we don't even need to talk
- 15:17Speaker 1: about it anymore, stop holding us accountable for the stuff
- 15:20Speaker 1: we said, and that was fairly convenient for the left
- 15:23Speaker 1: to do when the data from the scientists three or
- 15:26Speaker 1: four years later was saying we definitely made mistakes, and
- 15:29Speaker 1: there were a lot of people, even some of the
- 15:31Speaker 1: doctors that you saw on the podium with Trump and
- 15:33Speaker 1: with Biden were admitting that they exaggerated certain things and
- 15:37Speaker 1: got things wrong. So COVID feels like the lesson we
- 15:40Speaker 1: should have learned there and people did not learn it.
- 15:44Speaker 3: I'm not seeing how you tie those two together. It's
- 15:47Speaker 3: kind of a.
- 15:47Speaker 1: Stretch you to me. It's a clear path.
- 15:51Speaker 3: No, no, no, I listen. I know there were mistakes
- 15:54Speaker 3: made during COVID ND. I also know this was a
- 15:57Speaker 3: medical procedure and science doesn't always have all the answers
- 16:01Speaker 3: right away. Did they tell us that they they gave us.
- 16:05Speaker 3: They didn't act that they had in the moment, and
- 16:08Speaker 3: then those facts changed, and that's what people didn't want.
- 16:10Speaker 3: They didn't want to know that. Okay, well I was here,
- 16:14Speaker 3: we thought it was here, and now why are we
- 16:16Speaker 3: going back? I don't know who are you the president?
- 16:18Speaker 3: You're going back down twenty twelve. I don't know how
- 16:20Speaker 3: to argue to argue about COVID.
- 16:22Speaker 1: It's fine I didn't mean to use this reference, but
- 16:23Speaker 1: I'll just say that they definitely told us that they
- 16:25Speaker 1: thought they knew everything. They did not give us the
- 16:27Speaker 1: open ended They were removing people from social media for
- 16:30Speaker 1: saying stuff that now we believe is true. They were
- 16:32Speaker 1: actually pulling people off, telling them they were misinformation. Like
- 16:35Speaker 1: even the the Wuhan lab was a thing that everybody
- 16:37Speaker 1: denied happened, and now most people after John Stewart went
- 16:41Speaker 1: crazy and Colbert were like, Okay, maybe there's truth to that.
- 16:44Speaker 1: So it's the point of this is not to relitigate
- 16:47Speaker 1: COVID between you and I and our disagreements.
- 16:49Speaker 3: I was gonna say, six years ago, don't you have
- 16:52Speaker 3: a more current reference.
- 16:53Speaker 1: Yeah, that's a pretty good one. But I think the
- 16:55Speaker 1: more valuable thing is the retreat into your corner so
- 16:57Speaker 1: quickly that happens for so many people in so many
- 17:00Speaker 1: of these discussions, and you burn yourself when you retreat
- 17:02Speaker 1: into your corner, and you do it without information. I
- 17:04Speaker 1: do understand why people do it, and I said this
- 17:07Speaker 1: the other day on the show. It doesn't make it.
- 17:09Speaker 3: We all want answers, right, Well, it's.
- 17:10Speaker 1: Not even just that people run into their corners to
- 17:13Speaker 1: me because they feel like a lot of media is
- 17:16Speaker 1: not telling them the truth, and they feel like a
- 17:18Speaker 1: lot of people are not telling them the truth, whether
- 17:19Speaker 1: that person is President Trump or that person is you know,
- 17:22Speaker 1: doctor Anthony Fauci. You think someone is lying to you,
- 17:26Speaker 1: and you'd rather go into your silo where you trust
- 17:29Speaker 1: people more than believe anything you hear that's outside of
- 17:33Speaker 1: that silo.
- 17:35Speaker 3: Is it you trust people more or you like what
- 17:37Speaker 3: they're saying better? Could be both, because I think it's
- 17:40Speaker 3: I think it's more the latter than the former. I
- 17:42Speaker 3: agree that there is mistrust. We all have mistrust now
- 17:46Speaker 3: more than we used to because we all think we're
- 17:48Speaker 3: experts on everything because we have a supercomputer in our pocket.
- 17:51Speaker 3: It allows us to find fat find information that backs
- 17:55Speaker 3: up how we feel. So we all think we are
- 17:58Speaker 3: we are endowed by the Creator with unmitigated intelligence and
- 18:02Speaker 3: expertise in every field. And so we want people to
- 18:06Speaker 3: just confirm that and confirm that and confirm that. And
- 18:09Speaker 3: it's scary when things come to light that don't match
- 18:13Speaker 3: your belief system and people, and it doesn't matter what
- 18:16Speaker 3: side you're on, if you you don't want to be challenged,
- 18:20Speaker 3: You want that big hug to say, Oh, you're right.
- 18:24Speaker 3: Everything you believe is exactly right. Don't don't look at
- 18:28Speaker 3: these facts because those facts will upset you.
- 18:30Speaker 1: Therein conmedia want you upset.
- 18:32Speaker 3: You don't want to be upset.
- 18:33Speaker 1: All right, let's move on to something that feels relevant
- 18:36Speaker 1: to this discussion now to you, actually, President Trump's address tonight,
- 18:39Speaker 1: which he promises to be incredibly important, like giant, big news,
- 18:43Speaker 1: will be happening this evening. I don't really do a
- 18:45Speaker 1: Trump I don't pretend to. I don't know if you
- 18:47Speaker 1: do one, and you want to do one, but that's
- 18:49Speaker 1: not a me things. It'll be a big, huge It'll
- 18:53Speaker 1: be at eight o'clock tonight, Central Time, and a lot
- 18:56Speaker 1: of television stations are going to choose not to carry it.
- 19:00Speaker 1: I think that is a terrible decision. I think that's
- 19:03Speaker 1: a horrible decision. I think that decision would be resoundingly
- 19:06Speaker 1: mocked if it happened in the other way, where Biden
- 19:09Speaker 1: was doing something and the people on the conservative platforms
- 19:13Speaker 1: refuse to run it because he is, in fact the president.
- 19:16Speaker 1: What do you say about this topic.
- 19:19Speaker 3: Well, the stations are under no obligation to carry him.
- 19:23Speaker 3: I know President President they're not, Craig, I said, I
- 19:27Speaker 3: know they are not.
- 19:28Speaker 1: Okay, I'm aware you're right that fields Oh, go ahead, continue.
- 19:32Speaker 3: I see you shaking your head like that's not true.
- 19:34Speaker 3: That is.
- 19:34Speaker 1: It's not that, it's not true.
- 19:36Speaker 3: It is true. It is. It is not the norm.
- 19:39Speaker 3: The norm is you carry the president's addresses, right. The president,
- 19:44Speaker 3: much like your previous example with COVID, is going back
- 19:48Speaker 3: in time to the point where even some Republicans in
- 19:52Speaker 3: the Congress are saying, stop trying to litigate something that
- 19:57Speaker 3: has been judged over sixty times in court, even by
- 20:01Speaker 3: judges that you have appointed. This is there's nothing here.
- 20:06Speaker 3: There has been nothing here in the history of the country.
- 20:09Speaker 3: It's like one tenth of one percent of voter fraud
- 20:14Speaker 3: no matter where you are. The President is worried about
- 20:18Speaker 3: the midterms, and so he is banging this drum that
- 20:21Speaker 3: he has never let go. And if they so, they
- 20:25Speaker 3: don't want to give credence to more things. Reporters have
- 20:29Speaker 3: been asking for evidence of this since twenty twenty, and
- 20:34Speaker 3: zero evidence has been brought up. And again, how many
- 20:39Speaker 3: how many court cases have been fixed?
- 20:42Speaker 1: Okay, a couple things noon, and we're definitely gonna have
- 20:44Speaker 1: to figure out part of this, because then the phone
- 20:45Speaker 1: lines are lighting up, which means that we are going
- 20:48Speaker 1: to have to get you away to hear the phones.
- 20:50Speaker 1: So we might have to take a break to figure
- 20:52Speaker 1: that out. I will say, in response to what you
- 20:55Speaker 1: just said, and some people listening might be angry that
- 20:57Speaker 1: I let you talks along without interrupting you. I think
- 20:59Speaker 1: you're I think you're very wrong. I think that some
- 21:02Speaker 1: of the things you.
- 21:02Speaker 3: Said on what point, the sixty the sixty plus cases.
- 21:05Speaker 1: No, no, no, not that, not on that point. I
- 21:07Speaker 1: think that the FBI raid in Fulton, Georgia could have
- 21:10Speaker 1: uncovered information that could be given to us tonight that
- 21:14Speaker 1: could show that some of the things that there's I
- 21:15Speaker 1: know that I'm using a lot of goods could show
- 21:17Speaker 1: some of the things they're saying are in fact true.
- 21:19Speaker 1: There are people in the last year who have gone
- 21:22Speaker 1: to jail because of election fraud stuff. It's small scale,
- 21:25Speaker 1: but it has happened. So when you say it's plenty
- 21:27Speaker 1: in the markets.
- 21:29Speaker 3: That I've worked at, which were Wisconsin, it's all been Republicans.
- 21:32Speaker 1: So it doesn't move good. I think it's irrelevant to
- 21:35Speaker 1: a lot of people who it's doing who's doing it.
- 21:37Speaker 1: I think we care more that it's happening potentially, and
- 21:39Speaker 1: I want it to not happen.
- 21:40Speaker 3: I do.
- 21:41Speaker 1: I know you can laugh at that.
- 21:42Speaker 3: I wanted to.
- 21:43Speaker 1: Yeah, but here here's what I say. I believe we
- 21:46Speaker 1: all want it to not have I believe it's not
- 21:48Speaker 1: a election fraud. Absolutely could have existed. I've believed that
- 21:53Speaker 1: for a while. I used to say on the radio
- 21:55Speaker 1: shows that I was on, and it made a lot
- 21:56Speaker 1: of my listeners mad that I hadn't seen enough proof yet,
- 22:00Speaker 1: And a lot of people would call in and say
- 22:01Speaker 1: a lot of the proof was getting thrown out in
- 22:03Speaker 1: the courtrooms and the court cases, and you know, they
- 22:06Speaker 1: weren't allowed to be tried, and jurisdiction was one of
- 22:09Speaker 1: the most common things used to throw these cases out
- 22:11Speaker 1: of court rooms. And that's not a great one I think, like,
- 22:15Speaker 1: I think that's different than all of the information you
- 22:18Speaker 1: provided to us as bull crap. They didn't do that
- 22:20Speaker 1: in a lot of these cases they threw out. So
- 22:22Speaker 1: it seems like this is an unfinished piece.
- 22:25Speaker 3: Of in one person's mind.
- 22:28Speaker 1: No, not in one I know, to you, maybe, but
- 22:31Speaker 1: to a whole lot of people that voted for this guy,
- 22:34Speaker 1: they feel the same way. And so if half of
- 22:37Speaker 1: the country believes that election fraud happened, and it is
- 22:41Speaker 1: to me pretty close to that amount of people that
- 22:44Speaker 1: do at least think that we should keep that going.
- 22:47Speaker 3: You're saying one out of every two people believes that
- 22:49Speaker 3: the twenty twenty election was stolen. One out of every two.
- 22:52Speaker 1: Here's what's funny about that noon in Chicago. No, here
- 22:55Speaker 1: in Texas, I think it might be one out of
- 22:57Speaker 1: every one point five people. You should try it, because
- 23:01Speaker 1: depending on where you go and who you talk to, Like,
- 23:04Speaker 1: the most common joke that I've heard at the grocery
- 23:07Speaker 1: store in Texas is that election fraud is going on.
- 23:10Speaker 1: Like you just you got to you got a branch.
- 23:12Speaker 1: And I'm not talking about you specifically. I know you traveled.
- 23:14Speaker 1: It is gonna be I know, I know, I know
- 23:17Speaker 1: you do. But but anyway, Yes, I think that there
- 23:19Speaker 1: are a lot of people who believe this, and I
- 23:21Speaker 1: think what's happening in Georgia uniquely important to the discussion.
- 23:26Speaker 1: And so what I think is interesting is the people
- 23:29Speaker 1: who refuse to air something instead of and I'm gonna.
- 23:32Speaker 3: They're running it. They're running it. They are going to
- 23:34Speaker 3: air it on their streaming services.
- 23:36Speaker 1: Oh that's not the same thing. ABC. It's not ABC
- 23:39Speaker 1: and NBC aren't gonna air it on television. And here's
- 23:41Speaker 1: the thing I'll say, And I'm going to quote John Stewart,
- 23:43Speaker 1: which you probably don't expect right before break and in
- 23:45Speaker 1: a positive way about John Stewart. And I always reference this,
- 23:49Speaker 1: and I feel like all my references are very dated
- 23:51Speaker 1: all of a sudden noon, And but this is when
- 23:53Speaker 1: Kanye was saying crazy stuff and being super anti semitic,
- 23:57Speaker 1: and someone asked John Stewart what you should do, and
- 24:00Speaker 1: they were getting mad that people were platforming Kanye, putting
- 24:03Speaker 1: him on like podcasts and stuff. And what John Stewart
- 24:06Speaker 1: said is the best way to refute something is to
- 24:09Speaker 1: talk about it. So he would want to talk to
- 24:11Speaker 1: Kanye and disagree with him, to remove this from your platforms.
- 24:16Speaker 1: To a whole lot of us on the side that
- 24:17Speaker 1: believe election fraud did happen, this seems like fear. This
- 24:21Speaker 1: seems like I'm afraid to put this on there.
- 24:24Speaker 3: Do you think it's going to be hard for people
- 24:26Speaker 3: to find this, to watch this, not to hear what
- 24:29Speaker 3: the president has to say, Not.
- 24:30Speaker 1: The people who believe him already. But the point of
- 24:33Speaker 1: this sort of stuff is sometimes you want the people
- 24:35Speaker 1: who don't believe him to have to sit through it because.
- 24:37Speaker 3: People who the people who are interested in it have
- 24:41Speaker 3: no they're not going to have any problem finding it.
- 24:43Speaker 1: That's what I mean.
- 24:44Speaker 3: I think. I think if you don't if you don't
- 24:47Speaker 3: believe what he's going to say, or I don't know
- 24:49Speaker 3: what he's going to say, you don't know what he's say,
- 24:51Speaker 3: if you don't believe, if you don't believe that the
- 24:54Speaker 3: election uh went the way it did, because you know,
- 24:57Speaker 3: I don't know if well, how the Democrats get it's
- 25:00Speaker 3: so dumb, then if they stole the twenty twenty, but
- 25:02Speaker 3: then they gave up, they gave away the farm two
- 25:08Speaker 3: oh too big to rig.
- 25:09Speaker 1: Sure, Okay, now here, we've got to take a break
- 25:11Speaker 1: because we do have to figure out how to get
- 25:12Speaker 1: you a phone audio because we were definitely going to
- 25:14Speaker 1: take at least one call. A regular caller, Amne, Jimmy
- 25:17Speaker 1: X calls in all the time. So we'll take a break.
- 25:19Speaker 1: We're going to work on some technology things here. Thrilled
- 25:22Speaker 1: to have you on noon and thrill this. We did it.
- 25:24Speaker 1: We found a topic pretty easy that we disagree on.
- 25:27Speaker 1: And the point of this for everyone listening, and I
- 25:30Speaker 1: can let Noonan say this too, is that at the
- 25:32Speaker 1: end of everything we talk about, no matter how much
- 25:35Speaker 1: we disagree and at times question each other's intelligence because
- 25:38Speaker 1: of said disagreements, we are friends. We will remain friends,
- 25:41Speaker 1: and we will remain respectful to each other. Is that
- 25:43Speaker 1: a right way to put it?
- 25:45Speaker 3: That is a very good way to put it.
- 25:46Speaker 1: I cool, So that will happen in just a bit.
- 25:48Speaker 1: This is the Craig Collins Show. Brian Noonan is my
- 25:50Speaker 1: guest on KSV the Voice of Texas. This is the
- 25:54Speaker 1: Craig Collins Show, KSCV, KGBC. Keep doing that now, I'm
- 25:58Speaker 1: just blanking on it. KSV is the run to check
- 26:01Speaker 1: out the Voice of Texas. Seven hundred am. Brian Noonan
- 26:04Speaker 1: is the guest hanging out and we are going to
- 26:06Speaker 1: try technology wise as best we can to take at
- 26:09Speaker 1: least one call from a regular calling of mind. That
- 26:11Speaker 1: is Jimmy X. Jimmy, Welcome to the show.
- 26:15Speaker 2: Well, I'm on, but am I speaking to mister Newman?
- 26:18Speaker 1: He should be able to hear you, mister Nowton should
- 26:21Speaker 1: be able to I think I have to turn it
- 26:22Speaker 1: up over here.
- 26:23Speaker 3: H don't I don't hear Jimmy.
- 26:24Speaker 1: Okay, go ahead, Jimmy, go ahead.
- 26:27Speaker 2: Oh man, that's not good. So because I had a
- 26:30Speaker 2: lot of questions for him, you know, and then I promised,
- 26:33Speaker 2: after listening to you guys you know, just talked before
- 26:37Speaker 2: you went to commercial break, that I will I will
- 26:39Speaker 2: not use my inner statday that live Jane, you ignorance slut?
- 26:46Speaker 1: So nowton, can you hear him?
- 26:50Speaker 3: No? But I know he's not going to use something
- 26:52Speaker 3: he said. I don't know what he's not going to say.
- 26:54Speaker 1: He won't say Jane, you ignorant slut to you at
- 26:56Speaker 1: any point. Oh well, that's that's nice. I would I
- 26:59Speaker 1: have no intention of saying that, did YOUBXC No? Okay, Jimmy,
- 27:02Speaker 1: keep trying. I keep turning it up. I know at
- 27:04Speaker 1: some point you're going to be able to hear each other.
- 27:06Speaker 1: I just might have to turn my microphone off to
- 27:08Speaker 1: prevent everybody from hearing you. But go ahead.
- 27:12Speaker 2: A lot of the arguments that he's using, or have
- 27:16Speaker 2: been used by, you know, the smart people you know,
- 27:20Speaker 2: like his side, came to be for instance, the court cases. Okay, Well,
- 27:25Speaker 2: the reason there were sixty court cases thrown out. Is
- 27:29Speaker 2: that none of those people had standy and that's why
- 27:32Speaker 2: they were or a circuit court judge said, nope, I'm
- 27:36Speaker 2: not hearing this because judges traditionally don't want to get
- 27:42Speaker 2: involved in election lawsuits. It's too risky, so they stay
- 27:47Speaker 2: away from it. That's number one. Number two in no
- 27:53Speaker 2: presidential elections in the history of these United States of
- 27:56Speaker 2: America have more people voted by mail than in the
- 28:01Speaker 2: twenty twenty election, which.
- 28:03Speaker 3: We all know President.
- 28:07Speaker 2: According to you know, President Jimmy Carter, that the greatest
- 28:13Speaker 2: way to have fraud in election is through mail in ballots.
- 28:19Speaker 2: So then explain to me how fourteen million or people
- 28:24Speaker 2: voted for Joe Biden in an election that had all
- 28:30Speaker 2: these mail in ballots than Barack Obama, seemingly the most
- 28:35Speaker 2: popular presidential candidate ever ever in the history of the
- 28:40Speaker 2: Democratic Party. Fourteen million more votes than Barack Obama where
- 28:45Speaker 2: he lost every major Bellweather county in the United States,
- 28:51Speaker 2: every single one, but still won the election. Oh, let's
- 28:57Speaker 2: not forget election nights Bolton County, Wargium when the mysterious
- 29:02Speaker 2: pipe burst and there everybody had to leave. All the
- 29:07Speaker 2: election officials left, except one side did not leave, and
- 29:13Speaker 2: they stayed and they counted votes. And we have videotapes
- 29:17Speaker 2: of them pulling boxes from underneath tables, and we're all
- 29:24Speaker 2: being told after seeing that video that's a normal procedure.
- 29:30Speaker 2: But they weren't supposed to be counting the votes in
- 29:32Speaker 2: the first place because a pipe burst. So all of that,
- 29:37Speaker 2: I'd like to hear him explain.
- 29:42Speaker 1: All right, so Noon and you can go ahead and answer.
- 29:43Speaker 1: We're gonna put. We're gonna put. I appreciate your call.
- 29:46Speaker 1: I have an actual conversation with him, well a couple
- 29:48Speaker 1: of it. So we're gonna put Jimmy on hold. Noonan
- 29:50Speaker 1: can respond and then Jimmy can come back. But Jimmy's
- 29:52Speaker 1: on hold for now. It'll be a little bit disjointed,
- 29:55Speaker 1: but we'll get it going.
- 29:56Speaker 3: You have a three person showed up.
- 29:57Speaker 1: We do, but now Jimmy is conscious to the show
- 30:00Speaker 1: with me before man continue.
- 30:01Speaker 3: Wow, all right, Well, I just want to you know,
- 30:03Speaker 3: I just want to say to Jimmy, I disagree.
- 30:09Speaker 1: First off, okay, I disagree.
- 30:11Speaker 3: You know who else disagrees? Bill Barr disagrees. Bill Barr,
- 30:14Speaker 3: the attorney general for Donald Trump, has said there was
- 30:18Speaker 3: there was stopping. He liked him enough to appoint him.
- 30:21Speaker 1: We don't like them anymore. We don't like him now,
- 30:22Speaker 1: sure you know why now.
- 30:23Speaker 3: Because there was no evidence, because there was no evidence
- 30:27Speaker 3: that that Donald Trump likes Donald Trump, who likes the
- 30:30Speaker 3: people who do exactly.
- 30:31Speaker 1: Well here.
- 30:34Speaker 3: And also also Republicans use mail in voting too, they do, yes,
- 30:40Speaker 3: and by do you have those numbers as much?
- 30:44Speaker 1: No, I don't have his numbers.
- 30:45Speaker 3: All right, I'll tell you this.
- 30:47Speaker 1: I'll tell you this. In that election, a whole lot
- 30:49Speaker 1: of places, including Illinois, changed their laws to allow people
- 30:54Speaker 1: to mail. And we all know why, but they all
- 30:56Speaker 1: did it. They did it in ways that didn't actually
- 30:58Speaker 1: always follow the constitution of the state because it was
- 31:00Speaker 1: an emergency, so they did it real quick, and they
- 31:03Speaker 1: had a profound increase in the amount of mail in
- 31:06Speaker 1: ballots typical like there's a very big difference from Arizona
- 31:10Speaker 1: having a lot of mail in ballots because they often do,
- 31:13Speaker 1: and Illinois having a bunch of mail in ballots and
- 31:15Speaker 1: believing that they did it well because even talking to
- 31:18Speaker 1: people in Taswell County, which is Peori, Illinois. Oh, I
- 31:22Speaker 1: know Taswell count Okay, even talking to people there. They
- 31:24Speaker 1: were like, we got inundated with stuff we didn't expect.
- 31:28Speaker 1: And I'll say this noon in before I let you
- 31:30Speaker 1: keep going. I think there's a chance that like a
- 31:34Speaker 1: mom got four ballots for her kids. They're off at
- 31:37Speaker 1: college or something, whether they don't live there, and she
- 31:39Speaker 1: was motivated to say that she hated Trump enough that
- 31:42Speaker 1: she filled out five ballots and sent them in. And
- 31:44Speaker 1: maybe those kids wouldn't have voted if mod didn't do that.
- 31:47Speaker 1: And that is not the same kind of fraud that
- 31:50Speaker 1: people talk about. And it can't be proven a way
- 31:52Speaker 1: that I want to prove.
- 31:54Speaker 3: We can hypothesize a lot of things, okay, but you
- 31:57Speaker 3: need to have proof. Proof. That's why. That's why we
- 32:01Speaker 3: go to court, that's why we litigate things. That's why
- 32:03Speaker 3: we go back to what we were talking about at
- 32:05Speaker 3: the very beginning and saying you need body cams because
- 32:09Speaker 3: you need proof. I can come up with theories all day,
- 32:12Speaker 3: and man, oh man, it's funny, Craig. I've been around
- 32:16Speaker 3: for a lot more elections than you have, and voter
- 32:19Speaker 3: fraud and election integrity and all of this was never
- 32:23Speaker 3: an issue. The biggest thing we had before that were
- 32:27Speaker 3: the hanging chads and down in Florida. If there was
- 32:32Speaker 3: a disagreement at the election, there were recounts. There were
- 32:35Speaker 3: recounts in all and to Jimmy X's point, man, they
- 32:38Speaker 3: recounted and recounted by hand all those Georgia votes. So
- 32:42Speaker 3: even if they came in late, even if you don't
- 32:44Speaker 3: like how they were done, they recounted those votes. There
- 32:48Speaker 3: were recounts all over the country trying to get this. Now,
- 32:52Speaker 3: at some point there has to be a time where you, I,
- 32:57Speaker 3: he isn't there where you could just stop and go
- 32:59Speaker 3: okay getting thrown out of court. And Jimmy I'm not
- 33:02Speaker 3: a lawyer. I don't know if Jimmy X is a lawyer,
- 33:04Speaker 3: but you know, I agree.
- 33:06Speaker 1: I totally agree with Jimmy X. And I said it
- 33:07Speaker 1: before him that jurisdiction was the main reason they threw
- 33:10Speaker 1: a lot of these cases out. That doesn't satiate the
- 33:12Speaker 1: belief that this could have been fraud and the case
- 33:15Speaker 1: could have been valuable if they just say, we don't.
- 33:17Speaker 3: Have the jurisdiction to try it all right, So the
- 33:19Speaker 3: only thing then that would satiate the that call is
- 33:22Speaker 3: for for somebody to come out and finally say, Okay,
- 33:25Speaker 3: he won.
- 33:26Speaker 1: Because you can't.
- 33:27Speaker 3: It doesn't seem like anybody can accept the loss if
- 33:31Speaker 3: where is the line for the proof?
- 33:32Speaker 1: Okay, the FBI rated Fulton, Georgia this year, and I
- 33:37Speaker 1: know that a lot of people on the left would say, well,
- 33:38Speaker 1: Trump just told him to do that. There was no
- 33:40Speaker 1: benefit to it, there's no value. Tonight's conversation may potentially
- 33:44Speaker 1: we don't know.
- 33:45Speaker 3: Waiter, we're getting back to the original point of this conversation. Yeah,
- 33:48Speaker 3: we are.
- 33:48Speaker 1: But tonight's conversation and I have Jimmy on hold still.
- 33:50Speaker 1: I'm gonna let him come on one more time to
- 33:52Speaker 1: respond to whatever. But I will say this, Tonight's conversation
- 33:56Speaker 1: might give us a different feeling. And you, I think,
- 33:58Speaker 1: will be on every week because I'm having fun where
- 34:01Speaker 1: you're having fun with this, I hope. So hopefully we
- 34:03Speaker 1: keep doing this and we'll have a very different conversation
- 34:06Speaker 1: next week, of course than we can right now. But
- 34:09Speaker 1: I think that a lot of it.
- 34:10Speaker 3: I think the original point of this conversation was eure
- 34:13Speaker 3: upset that ABC and NBC are not broadcasting it on
- 34:18Speaker 3: on their air.
- 34:19Speaker 1: That seems like fear to people on this side that
- 34:22Speaker 1: seems like they're afraid that the information is the type
- 34:24Speaker 1: of information they don't want proven.
- 34:27Speaker 3: I think there's all kinds of reasons, and fear is
- 34:29Speaker 3: not one of them. Because if if ABC listen, ABC
- 34:35Speaker 3: is in the crosshairs of the FCC again again. So
- 34:38Speaker 3: ABC has no there is no reason for ABC to
- 34:42Speaker 3: bend a knee once again to this administration who is
- 34:45Speaker 3: dead set on taking away their license. CBS, of course,
- 34:49Speaker 3: is going to run it. We know why CBS is
- 34:51Speaker 3: going to run it. So what is so?
- 34:55Speaker 1: Hold on? I want to ask you one thing, and
- 34:57Speaker 1: I don't want to leave Jimmy on hold for too long,
- 34:58Speaker 1: so I'll let him come back on and say whatever
- 35:00Speaker 1: he wants. And I gotta mute my microphone when I
- 35:01Speaker 1: do that because of the way we're doing this today,
- 35:03Speaker 1: which I know is sorry, no, it's all over the place.
- 35:06Speaker 1: But I'll say this, if you don't think what he's
- 35:09Speaker 1: gonna say is true, why not air it?
- 35:12Speaker 3: Why do you actually because quite frankly, for Craig and
- 35:16Speaker 3: and again we're not even we're not even commenting. I
- 35:19Speaker 3: mentioned it before on Republicans who are saying this is
- 35:23Speaker 3: a non issue, This is doing nothing to help us.
- 35:26Speaker 3: This is wrong. It's Tom Tillis today on the Hill
- 35:30Speaker 3: was saying, I wish he would stop looking backwards. This
- 35:34Speaker 3: is you know, this is the same old drum beat
- 35:37Speaker 3: all the time, and people are sick of hearing it.
- 35:40Speaker 3: And you know there it's going to be available. It's
- 35:43Speaker 3: not like it's blacked out across the country. It will
- 35:45Speaker 3: be available on many, many, many platforms. If you want
- 35:48Speaker 3: to watch it live, if not, if you want to
- 35:51Speaker 3: get all the clips tomorrow morning, you're not. Nobody who
- 35:53Speaker 3: wants to hear what the president has to say is
- 35:56Speaker 3: going to be denied him safe.
- 35:58Speaker 1: I understand. I'll just say this this one last thing,
- 36:01Speaker 1: as far as my opinion of this whole discussion goes,
- 36:07Speaker 1: CBS is airing it because the person in charge is
- 36:09Speaker 1: willing to accept that both sides have a voice, and
- 36:13Speaker 1: the other sides don't like to do that. The other side,
- 36:15Speaker 1: they don't like to do that, No do they don't.
- 36:17Speaker 1: They don't because honestly, when they say that the President
- 36:21Speaker 1: of the United States is going to lie, so we
- 36:23Speaker 1: have to turn this off, they're not being non biased.
- 36:26Speaker 1: They're being fairly biased in their opinion. And there are
- 36:29Speaker 1: a lot of people in this country. In fact, half
- 36:31Speaker 1: of the people he won the popular vote in twenty
- 36:33Speaker 1: twenty four that think he is not long How can
- 36:35Speaker 1: that be?
- 36:36Speaker 3: If the Democrats are so shifty and could steal elections.
- 36:39Speaker 1: How can they be?
- 36:40Speaker 3: So I had mail in ballots again.
- 36:42Speaker 1: Now, well it wasn't the same degree. And actually there
- 36:46Speaker 1: are places that crack down in some of that, and
- 36:47Speaker 1: hopefully they do it more. And the Save America Act
- 36:50Speaker 1: does seem like something that might be good there because
- 36:52Speaker 1: a voter ID is good and a bunch of black
- 36:54Speaker 1: people in Harlem seem to think it's good, which was
- 36:56Speaker 1: one of my favorite videos that I saw out there
- 36:58Speaker 1: when they go to like the black community in New
- 37:01Speaker 1: York City and go, hey, people are saying that it's
- 37:03Speaker 1: racist for you to show up and try to vote
- 37:05Speaker 1: without an ID, and they're like, why, because we have ideas.
- 37:09Speaker 1: Can I bring Jimmy back on?
- 37:10Speaker 3: Is that?
- 37:10Speaker 1: Okay? For one more second?
- 37:11Speaker 3: All right? I can barely hear him and I can't
- 37:13Speaker 3: talk to him, so it's.
- 37:14Speaker 1: Well you can, Yeah, you can do it back and forth. Okay,
- 37:17Speaker 1: Jimmy X, you're gonna come back on the radio, and
- 37:19Speaker 1: I am gonna turn off my microphone again, Jimmy, you're there.
- 37:22Speaker 1: What else do you want to say?
- 37:23Speaker 2: If anything, Well, just a couple of things. Number one
- 37:28Speaker 2: is and I can't believe I am saying this live
- 37:31Speaker 2: on the air, But I too am not gonna watch
- 37:35Speaker 2: it tonight. Okay, I'm really not, because I get it happened.
- 37:41Speaker 2: It happened six years ago. He does keep coming back
- 37:45Speaker 2: to it, and I'm a little burned out on that. Okay,
- 37:48Speaker 2: But on the flip side, I would like to ask
- 37:50Speaker 2: mister Noonon if NBC and ABC or quote News divisions,
- 37:58Speaker 2: doesn't that mean they're in port Doesn't that mean they
- 38:01Speaker 2: just report? Doesn't that mean they just give the fact?
- 38:05Speaker 2: Because it kind of sounds like they're pushing the envelope
- 38:09Speaker 2: here saying this doesn't matter. It's the president of the
- 38:14Speaker 2: United States.
- 38:15Speaker 3: At least I gotta be able to I gotta be
- 38:18Speaker 3: able to jump in.
- 38:20Speaker 1: You can talk anytime you want nude, and I just can't.
- 38:22Speaker 3: I know, But then all I'm hearing is like a
- 38:24Speaker 3: tin can, So I don't know if how it sounds on.
- 38:27Speaker 1: The air, Well, thank you very much, Jimmy. We're gonna
- 38:29Speaker 1: tak Jimmy it how affects technology for next week?
- 38:32Speaker 3: Yeah, that would be great, because I can't. I don't
- 38:34Speaker 3: want to. You know, we let Jimmy, We let Jimmy talk,
- 38:37Speaker 3: and that's great. I'm happy to talk to Jimmy. But this, yeah,
- 38:41Speaker 3: and in this situation today, we can't. I can't talk
- 38:44Speaker 3: to him. I would say that, yes, it is. It's surprising.
- 38:49Speaker 3: I'm I'm surprised that they're not breaking in to run it.
- 38:52Speaker 3: Their defense is, hey, we're we're putting it on our stream.
- 38:56Speaker 3: Everybody's streaming. Not everybody. A lot of people have streaming,
- 38:59Speaker 3: so they are are. They are covering it. Their news
- 39:01Speaker 3: division is covering it. They have made they have made
- 39:04Speaker 3: the editorial choice to not put it on the broadcast.
- 39:08Speaker 3: Uh during their broadcast time. Is that the right decision?
- 39:12Speaker 3: I don't know, but it's still there. My point is,
- 39:16Speaker 3: and I said it at the beginning, They're not legally
- 39:18Speaker 3: obligated to do it. Somebody has made this decision. ABC
- 39:22Speaker 3: is probably just angry because they are under attack. I
- 39:27Speaker 3: have different kinds of things, and and they're under attack
- 39:30Speaker 3: because because the administration in the FCC is trying to
- 39:35Speaker 3: decide who can be guests on what shows, they are
- 39:38Speaker 3: trying to make shows that are not news.
- 39:40Speaker 1: Talking about Taro. Now, No, okay, because that was in
- 39:44Speaker 1: that was the Colbert Tallarico thing. Sorry, continue, No, it wasn't.
- 39:48Speaker 3: That's not what I was talking And Colbert's on CBS
- 39:51Speaker 3: and CB.
- 39:52Speaker 1: I know, I just I yes, I thought you were
- 39:55Speaker 1: saying a macro thing about what people can be on
- 39:56Speaker 1: what shows throughout all of network.
- 39:58Speaker 3: Now, no, that's that's what they're trying to tell ABC. Yeah,
- 40:02Speaker 3: well and threatening to pull their license. Now, so yeah,
- 40:06Speaker 3: I'm shocked that they're not airing it. I'm surprised that
- 40:09Speaker 3: they're not airing it. They've got it, They've got it
- 40:12Speaker 3: available if you want to see it.
- 40:14Speaker 1: So the only thing I'd like to say in response
- 40:16Speaker 1: to all this, and I know we're only covering like
- 40:18Speaker 1: two topics and Noon and I had a bunch covered,
- 40:20Speaker 1: including a lot of silly stuff. And Noon's yeah, we're
- 40:22Speaker 1: gonna have some fun. Noonan's very funny, a touring comedian
- 40:25Speaker 1: guy and stuff. Really, I know you are. And my
- 40:28Speaker 1: mother even texted reinforced that you like each other. So okay,
- 40:31Speaker 1: I'll reinforce that we like each other.
- 40:32Speaker 3: Yes, we like each other. I always, no matter where
- 40:36Speaker 3: I where we are doing something, I love that your
- 40:38Speaker 3: mom is always in there and texting and listen. Craig's
- 40:43Speaker 3: mom thinks I'm okay.
- 40:45Speaker 1: She does she likes, so she doesn't agree with you.
- 40:47Speaker 3: I want to say, listen, unlike the last time we were together,
- 40:50Speaker 3: I want to I want to give Jimmy X a
- 40:52Speaker 3: shout out for for being polite and regulated.
- 40:56Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 40:56Speaker 3: I don't agree with all everything he said. I know
- 40:58Speaker 3: he didn't agree with what I had to say. Boo,
- 41:01Speaker 3: we had a civil conversation.
- 41:02Speaker 1: My mom just said hello, Noonan. You know if I
- 41:04Speaker 1: don't say that to Noonan Mom, you can't. I don't know.
- 41:07Speaker 1: It's like she thought that she was texting you for
- 41:08Speaker 1: a second. There. All Right, One last thing that I
- 41:12Speaker 1: want to say about this topic, just because I want
- 41:14Speaker 1: to say it. You are not the type of person
- 41:18Speaker 1: who would claim that Biden didn't lie when he gave
- 41:20Speaker 1: addresses to the country, or that Obama didn't lie when
- 41:23Speaker 1: he gave address to the country, that they were all
- 41:25Speaker 1: everything he said was true, right.
- 41:27Speaker 3: You would agree, Well, every politician lies.
- 41:29Speaker 1: So that's pretty important. If you're to say that I
- 41:32Speaker 1: am a news platform that cannot air Trump because he lies.
- 41:37Speaker 1: If you want to be consistent with that statement, you
- 41:41Speaker 1: can't air any politician. And so the moment that you
- 41:43Speaker 1: choose that some lies are not okay for your platform
- 41:47Speaker 1: and some lies are if in fact, again we can
- 41:50Speaker 1: agree to disagree on which things are lies and which
- 41:52Speaker 1: things aren't. But if you say some lies are allowed,
- 41:54Speaker 1: some lies or not, you are showing political bias. You
- 41:56Speaker 1: are saying that I'm okay with the Democrats lying to
- 41:59Speaker 1: the country, I'm not okay with the Republicans doing it.
- 42:02Speaker 3: All right, That's that's I think, that's an easy comparison
- 42:07Speaker 3: to make. That isn't apt. I think in this particular case,
- 42:11Speaker 3: because they have aired every other address that the President
- 42:15Speaker 3: has made, this particular issue that he is bringing back
- 42:19Speaker 3: to the table has been litigated and re litigated and
- 42:22Speaker 3: re litigated again. It has no bearing on the next
- 42:27Speaker 3: election other than to sew more distrust. As if we
- 42:31Speaker 3: need any more distrust in this country, so more distrust
- 42:35Speaker 3: before the midterms. This is something that editorially, and that
- 42:40Speaker 3: is a huge thing in news department. Is this an
- 42:44Speaker 3: issue that needs to be rehashed again. ABC and NBC
- 42:48Speaker 3: have decided we will air it on our cable, on
- 42:51Speaker 3: our streaming service. We're not going to air it on
- 42:53Speaker 3: the broadcast because we've heard it all before. Hopefully we're
- 42:57Speaker 3: surprised and there's we we hear something that we didn't
- 43:00Speaker 3: hear before.
- 43:01Speaker 1: Sure, well, here I'll say, because I do want to
- 43:04Speaker 1: kind of move on. But I appreciate it, and I
- 43:05Speaker 1: definitely appreciate the full conversation that we're having on this topic.
- 43:11Speaker 1: But I guess, just like my thought about all of this,
- 43:15Speaker 1: I wanted to make a comparison again, and I know
- 43:18Speaker 1: it's a comparison we're actually gonna agree on.
- 43:20Speaker 3: Is this a revolutionary war comparison?
- 43:22Speaker 1: It should be. That'd be great, all right, good Charlie
- 43:24Speaker 1: Kirk's murder trial should be proving to any crazy people
- 43:29Speaker 1: out there that the individual accused of shooting Charlie Kirk
- 43:33Speaker 1: very very like I would say, one hundred percent in
- 43:35Speaker 1: my opinion, shot and killed Charlie Kirk. And there are
- 43:38Speaker 1: people who didn't believe that, who don't want to believe that.
- 43:41Speaker 1: I hate saying the guy's name, but it's so out
- 43:43Speaker 1: there that Tyler Robinson is in fact guilty of the
- 43:46Speaker 1: crime that and the amount of proof is insane. In
- 43:50Speaker 1: that discussion, it didn't get to this point to where
- 43:54Speaker 1: Candice Owens even seems to be shaking in her belief
- 43:58Speaker 1: that it didn't happen until they're an courtroom trying a
- 44:01Speaker 1: case with cameras on. I think the biggest mistake that
- 44:04Speaker 1: was made in the twenty twenty election is that the
- 44:07Speaker 1: Supreme Court didn't just take one, like they could just
- 44:09Speaker 1: take one. I don't care how legitimate they thought it was.
- 44:12Speaker 1: Take it, hear it, put all the information out there,
- 44:15Speaker 1: and then if it's profoundly disproven, at least it was
- 44:19Speaker 1: in the Supreme Court, because it would change the conversation
- 44:22Speaker 1: from the stuff that Jimmy and I are tired of
- 44:24Speaker 1: and you were tired of, to noonan to be. They
- 44:26Speaker 1: tried it, they did everything. No they didn't. They throw
- 44:28Speaker 1: it out before like we didn't get a single trial.
- 44:31Speaker 1: And sometimes political interest for the citizens of the United
- 44:35Speaker 1: States is so overwhelming that you take a case that
- 44:39Speaker 1: you might say doesn't have a legal of value, but
- 44:42Speaker 1: it has value to the society we live in. So
- 44:46Speaker 1: that that's the biggest complaint I've always had about this.
- 44:49Speaker 1: I would have liked to have watched that play out
- 44:52Speaker 1: in the Supreme Court or somewhere else.
- 44:54Speaker 3: No, that's an interesting point. And we do. We do
- 44:58Speaker 3: all need closure in whatever whatever aspect of life. We
- 45:02Speaker 3: we want that closure. And but would would the Supreme
- 45:07Speaker 3: Court have been a right Supreme court? I know, I know,
- 45:12Speaker 3: but I'm saying even there are people, Craig and you
- 45:15Speaker 3: know this, you you just mentioned it. Even if the
- 45:17Speaker 3: Supreme Court had said no, they whichever way they had gone,
- 45:22Speaker 3: if they had said yes it was stolen or no,
- 45:23Speaker 3: one was not stolen, there's still a lot of people
- 45:27Speaker 3: who are going to be no, that's a load of bs.
- 45:29Speaker 1: Well, but to show that the people who would say
- 45:32Speaker 1: the Supreme Court can't even be trusted because like it's
- 45:33Speaker 1: too in the pocket of Trump. They made a lot
- 45:36Speaker 1: of decisions that did not agree with President Trump in
- 45:38Speaker 1: the recent past that made a lot of people very upset.
- 45:41Speaker 1: Brian Innan's getting a phone call that he's I'm getting
- 45:45Speaker 1: notification as I'm going all right, before we go, I'm
- 45:48Speaker 1: very busy. I do want to, I do want to.
- 45:50Speaker 3: In fact, it's actually Jimmy X just called nice. I
- 45:52Speaker 3: don't know how we got number. We're gonna have their conversation.
- 45:56Speaker 1: I would give it to him. You wouldn't, No, I
- 45:58Speaker 1: will if you got to tell me, Aki. I want
- 46:01Speaker 1: to prove that we are in fact fun, that you
- 46:03Speaker 1: are fun, that I am fun. So before we get
- 46:05Speaker 1: out of here, we only have five minutes and then
- 46:07Speaker 1: the show is just straight up over. We don't have
- 46:09Speaker 1: another break. That's legitimate, right, Lucas, Okay, good. Sometimes we
- 46:13Speaker 1: take a second break, but we don't always have to
- 46:14Speaker 1: do that, so we'll just there.
- 46:17Speaker 3: Wore Chris Stapleton shirt so Texas wouldn't hate me.
- 46:20Speaker 1: Dude, and I went to like so many days of
- 46:22Speaker 1: the Rodeo. I went to like nineteen of the twenty
- 46:24Speaker 1: one rodeo days for free with the radio station I covered.
- 46:28Speaker 1: Stapleton was there, best show, best show.
- 46:30Speaker 3: He's great.
- 46:31Speaker 1: Oh it's incredible.
- 46:32Speaker 3: He just stands there and sings.
- 46:34Speaker 1: He does. Creed was also really good. But Stapleton Creed, yeah, fantastic.
- 46:39Speaker 1: And our mutual friend Cody Goff almost came here to
- 46:42Speaker 1: see Creed with me. He was this close to he well,
- 46:45Speaker 1: he might have to get it. That is a juxtaposition
- 46:49Speaker 1: for it was amazing, man, I'll tell you it was.
- 46:51Speaker 1: But Stapleton was just slightly better. Before we get out
- 46:54Speaker 1: of here, I think there's a couple of things that
- 46:55Speaker 1: are interesting just for sillier stuff that you and I
- 46:59Speaker 1: can debate. People are asking about something called slop face
- 47:02Speaker 1: and how it's taking over Hollywood. This is the exact
- 47:06Speaker 1: opposite of say, a perfectly made up face. A lot
- 47:09Speaker 1: of people are going out with I haven't tried it
- 47:12Speaker 1: all looks the people referenced here Al Pacino, Syvester Sloan,
- 47:16Speaker 1: Meryl Street, Nick Cage, Chris Walkin, Samuel Jackson, Sandra.
- 47:20Speaker 3: You're saying old people face, because that's that sounds like
- 47:23Speaker 3: it is.
- 47:23Speaker 1: Oh, call it slop face.
- 47:26Speaker 3: What see, there's that's agism. I'm not going to stand
- 47:28Speaker 3: for that as a as a man of a certain age,
- 47:30Speaker 3: I'm not going to stand for that kind of agism.
- 47:32Speaker 3: It's to come out of your mouth slop face, because
- 47:35Speaker 3: we because they didn't pump themselves full of chemicals, so
- 47:38Speaker 3: their face actually looks like it's an a how old's up?
- 47:40Speaker 3: Pacino like one hundred and six, he's not. You should
- 47:43Speaker 3: look like slop face. He should look like you know
- 47:46Speaker 3: that Doug Woes Woes he wold hound.
- 47:49Speaker 1: By the way, it's a it's a Hollywood reporter, so
- 47:51Speaker 1: you keep accusing me of doing it. The Hollywood reporter
- 47:53Speaker 1: did this, and Rachel McAdams was also mentioned for being
- 47:56Speaker 1: brave for going out with her beauty marks. That's what
- 48:00Speaker 1: they said in the Hollywood Reporter.
- 48:01Speaker 3: The Hollywood Reporter. That's top tier journalism right there. That's man,
- 48:06Speaker 3: oh man, that's great.
- 48:07Speaker 1: Are you a slop face guynn in or no?
- 48:10Speaker 3: Am I what? I don't even know what the are
- 48:12Speaker 3: you putting.
- 48:13Speaker 1: Any effort into the face to make it look like shave?
- 48:16Speaker 3: Okay, and I want I have good genetics that God
- 48:19Speaker 3: I got from my grandma, so I don't have a
- 48:21Speaker 3: lot of I don't have wrinkles because I'm really eighty seven, so.
- 48:27Speaker 1: It's I also don't do anything as a dude. There's
- 48:29Speaker 1: nothing you would do. I would feel weird if, like
- 48:31Speaker 1: I started to put stuff on the face.
- 48:33Speaker 3: I don't put stuff. I do pluck between my eyebrows
- 48:36Speaker 3: because I've had a unibra my whole life.
- 48:37Speaker 1: We all have to do that, So I do that.
- 48:39Speaker 3: And I and like I said, I shaved, but no,
- 48:42Speaker 3: I barely even put on sun sunscreen. Fair enough, all right,
- 48:46Speaker 3: it's a slop I guess I am a proponent. I'm
- 48:50Speaker 3: four slop face.
- 48:52Speaker 1: By the way, this is sort of an interesting thing
- 48:53Speaker 1: with just two minutes left to reference. I shaved at
- 48:56Speaker 1: work two days ago, and I know that that's a huge.
- 48:58Speaker 3: Are you homeless?
- 48:59Speaker 1: I had no your wife kick you out?
- 49:01Speaker 3: What happened?
- 49:02Speaker 1: I had no hot water for two days noon and
- 49:04Speaker 1: for two days we had no hot water. I took
- 49:05Speaker 1: a cold shower, and I was supposed to shave, and
- 49:07Speaker 1: I didn't want to do it, and I had a
- 49:08Speaker 1: huge beard, like it was. It was a terrible thing,
- 49:11Speaker 1: and so I came to work. I told the story
- 49:13Speaker 1: on air yesterday, because you and I also believe in
- 49:16Speaker 1: the audience gets to know everything. They get through a
- 49:18Speaker 1: lot of stuff. So I came to work yesterday with
- 49:20Speaker 1: a trimmer and I was just going to like clean
- 49:22Speaker 1: it up. But the trimmer died part of the way through.
- 49:25Speaker 1: So I had no options. I had a shave full
- 49:27Speaker 1: face at work or leave it partially trimmed, partially not.
- 49:32Speaker 1: And it just so happened that producer Lucas walked into
- 49:35Speaker 1: the bathroom as I was shaving, so he got to hope.
- 49:39Speaker 3: I hope Lucas immediately went to HR probably and said,
- 49:42Speaker 3: there's a homeless man in our bathroom shaving. I think
- 49:45Speaker 3: he took a horrorse bath. I don't know what's going.
- 49:48Speaker 1: On or no, yeah, you never know. Well, I just
- 49:50Speaker 1: wanted to stay. I'm sorry you're living in squalor that
- 49:53Speaker 1: that's not good. That happens. Man, sometimes you just got
- 49:55Speaker 1: to you figure it out as best you can. All Right,
- 49:57Speaker 1: we have forty seconds before or the show is over.
- 50:01Speaker 3: Well then listen, I think we should tell people that, well,
- 50:03Speaker 3: I'll be back with you on Thursdays and we're gonna
- 50:06Speaker 3: we're gonna continue this experiment. And uh, I want to
- 50:10Speaker 3: I again want to thank Jimmy X for calling in
- 50:12Speaker 3: and having a having a respectful conversation, which is what
- 50:15Speaker 3: this is all about. Again, if you're just joining and
- 50:18Speaker 3: you're thinking, why is Craig letting this lunatic spout his silliness,
- 50:22Speaker 3: That's what the world really is. It's people sitting down
- 50:25Speaker 3: and having conversations about things that they may not agree on,
- 50:28Speaker 3: and yet like Craig and I are going to talk
- 50:31Speaker 3: after this, and we'll talk up until next Thursday, and
- 50:34Speaker 3: we're still friends. So as your mom knows that, and
- 50:37Speaker 3: she wants us to make sure we tell people that
- 50:38Speaker 3: five seconds.
- 50:39Speaker 1: We gotta go, but we'll talk next week. I'm glad
- 50:42Speaker 1: Noonan's not already done with this. The Voice of Texas
- 50:44Speaker 1: case
