The Boughten Bride
Aired: Jul 12th, 1952. A stagecoach rolls into Dodge City short fifty thousand in gold and missing a passenger: the mail-order bride of a jittery New York investor. Matt Dillon and Chester ride out after the outlaw who took both the loot and the girl, only to have a washed-out trail and days of hard riding turn up nothing. As the frantic groom-to-be threatens to have Dillon's badge, the Marshal must decide how far duty stretches when the trail runs cold.
