- 0:00Speaker 1: Hello, gorgeous. It's Lala Kent. Welcome to untraditionally, Laala, Hello, gorgeous,
- 0:07Speaker 1: Welcome to untraditionally, Lala. If you guys recall, I did
- 0:12Speaker 1: an episode I want to say last week about the
- 0:15Speaker 1: drama with Taylor Frankie Paul. And you know, I like
- 0:20Speaker 1: to think that I'm a compassionate person. I like to
- 0:22Speaker 1: think that I've lived some life so I can speak
- 0:24Speaker 1: from experience. But I also like to think that I'm
- 0:27Speaker 1: not soft. And with my upbringing, you know, my mom
- 0:34Speaker 1: babied us, but she was always the person who said,
- 0:38Speaker 1: you may have gone through a lot of stuff, but
- 0:41Speaker 1: you better rise to the occasion. You cannot fault anybody
- 0:45Speaker 1: or anything because you are responsible for your emotions, you
- 0:49Speaker 1: are responsible for your actions. And so I lead with that,
- 0:53Speaker 1: and I lead with that in the conversation about Taylor
- 0:56Speaker 1: Frankie Paul and her hurling furniture, I was shocked to
- 1:02Speaker 1: my very core when I looked in the comments section.
- 1:06Speaker 1: You guys were going in on me for basically saying,
- 1:14Speaker 1: this woman needs the help. And I didn't condone her
- 1:21Speaker 1: throwing steel fucking barstools in the direction of another person
- 1:27Speaker 1: while her child was present. I was defending this tiny,
- 1:32Speaker 1: little five year old, which I have. I have a
- 1:34Speaker 1: five year old, like I can literally think of a
- 1:36Speaker 1: five year old and go, oh, I have that. So
- 1:38Speaker 1: I know exactly like the type of little human and
- 1:41Speaker 1: little personality that a five year old is. Okay, so
- 1:43Speaker 1: I'm defending this five year old, which should be a
- 1:46Speaker 1: no brainer. I truly could not believe what I was reading.
- 1:51Speaker 1: Y'all want to talk about the trauma and then bring
- 1:53Speaker 1: me into it. That was the greatest part was I
- 1:57Speaker 1: don't want to say. I was in a spiral over
- 1:58Speaker 1: the comments. Shocked over the fucking comments. These are some
- 2:02Speaker 1: of them. These are some of them. Okay, Lala, you
- 2:06Speaker 1: have no position to talk? Why, bitch? Why do I
- 2:09Speaker 1: have no position to talk? Because I was a drunk
- 2:12Speaker 1: and have been sober for seven and a half years
- 2:14Speaker 1: and not once hurled furniture, but have definitely gotten physical
- 2:17Speaker 1: in my past when I was intoxicated, which led me
- 2:19Speaker 1: to get sober. I think I'm the perfect candidate to
- 2:23Speaker 1: fucking talk, bitch. That's right, I'm fucking heated. Wow. I
- 2:28Speaker 1: used to love you, but you got this all wrong,
- 2:31Speaker 1: and you're the least wholesome person in the world, even
- 2:33Speaker 1: as a mother. This is my favorite.
- 2:37Speaker 2: Wow.
- 2:37Speaker 1: I used to love you. You you never loved me
- 2:41Speaker 1: because you don't know me. You watch me on television.
- 2:44Speaker 1: I appreciate you thinking you know what love is. But
- 2:46Speaker 1: the fact that you could love me watch a thirty
- 2:48Speaker 1: second clip and not love me, that's not love. Also,
- 2:52Speaker 1: I never claimed to be wholesome. I'm on a podcast
- 2:54Speaker 1: talking about blow jobs and eating ass like duh, no shit,
- 2:59Speaker 1: I'm not wholesome. Also, Wow, I used to love you.
- 3:04Speaker 1: But you've got this all wrong. You guys, some of
- 3:07Speaker 1: you saying you don't know the facts. You don't know
- 3:09Speaker 1: the whole story. Neither do you. You weren't in the room,
- 3:12Speaker 1: you weren't taking the police report. Y'all are watching and
- 3:15Speaker 1: reading the news just like I am. How much more
- 3:17Speaker 1: informed could you be than me? We're all reading the
- 3:20Speaker 1: same shit. So drunk, La La was an angel, no bitch,
- 3:24Speaker 1: That's why I'm sober seven and a half years. So
- 3:26Speaker 1: I am sober seven and a half years. That's why
- 3:28Speaker 1: I'm sober for seven and a half years. I don't
- 3:30Speaker 1: know how much more clear I could make this. I
- 3:33Speaker 1: was not proud of my actions when I drank so
- 3:36Speaker 1: I got sober. I'm gonna lose all my listeners after this,
- 3:41Speaker 1: but truly I was angry. I'm like, these are the comments,
- 3:45Speaker 1: These are the comments Laala on her high horse, acting
- 3:48Speaker 1: like she's never acted that way. Yes, that's why I'm
- 3:52Speaker 1: seven and a half years sober. Fuck Anyway, I called
- 3:57Speaker 1: to the haters. I was like, you know what you
- 3:58Speaker 1: guys want to talk about it, Let's talk about it.
- 4:01Speaker 1: And again we posted the haters i Instagram story to
- 4:07Speaker 1: call all of you to the forefront. And it was
- 4:10Speaker 1: like crickets again. Some of you are very click happy,
- 4:16Speaker 1: but then when it comes to facing off with me,
- 4:18Speaker 1: you run scared. We even reached out to some of
- 4:20Speaker 1: the haters like, hey, we saw your comment, would love
- 4:23Speaker 1: to have you on the episode Crickets. But then a
- 4:29Speaker 1: wonderful hater came through. All right, I'm so excited to
- 4:33Speaker 1: have you. Hi, Meredith, I'm Lala. I'm so did you
- 4:35Speaker 1: write in or did we reach out to you?
- 4:37Speaker 2: Did?
- 4:38Speaker 1: I did write in?
- 4:39Speaker 2: I wrote in as a former hater, current Lala lover.
- 4:43Speaker 1: Okay, well let's talk about the hate because it's the
- 4:45Speaker 1: Hater Podcast. What made you not dig me?
- 4:48Speaker 2: Honestly, when you first came on in season four, I
- 4:51Speaker 2: thought you were kind of airheaded and vapid and just
- 4:55Speaker 2: like this holier than that personality. That's how they portray
- 5:00Speaker 2: trade you on the show, not saying that's how you were,
- 5:03Speaker 2: but that's how it kind of came off that you
- 5:04Speaker 2: were just angsty, my shit don't stink kind of.
- 5:10Speaker 1: Kind of I don't even watch season four, so I
- 5:13Speaker 1: can't watch it so much since then, so I'm so embarrassed.
- 5:16Speaker 1: I'm like, who is this person? Anyway? Keep going.
- 5:21Speaker 2: And while and it's just kind of like hit me
- 5:23Speaker 2: the wrong way of like, oh, I don't like this girl.
- 5:26Speaker 1: There's something, there's something off about this.
- 5:29Speaker 2: And then just like as you progressed, you kind of
- 5:31Speaker 2: were very combative and like anytime you had issues with people,
- 5:36Speaker 2: it was just like punch it, base on, like take it.
- 5:41Speaker 1: And I know you were super young and.
- 5:43Speaker 2: Naive and just went through this new experience, but right
- 5:49Speaker 2: out the gate, I was like, well, I don't like
- 5:51Speaker 2: La La. And then I used to be a Katie fan,
- 5:54Speaker 2: and when you had issues with Katie, I was like,
- 5:57Speaker 2: pump the.
- 5:58Speaker 1: Brakes, right, I love this.
- 6:01Speaker 2: But then the first time that I was like fan
- 6:05Speaker 2: Laala was when Jax was trying to pull bullshit with
- 6:07Speaker 2: you and trying to lie about things that were being
- 6:11Speaker 2: said with and try and tell Brittany that, oh no,
- 6:16Speaker 2: it was all you, that you were the bad person,
- 6:19Speaker 2: not him, And I was like, wait a minute, no,
- 6:22Speaker 2: that's not.
- 6:22Speaker 1: Okay, that's bullshit. Balas got the papers to prove that,
- 6:27Speaker 1: and you did.
- 6:28Speaker 2: And eventually Brittany saw the season and was like, oh,
- 6:31Speaker 2: you were telling the truth.
- 6:33Speaker 1: Do you know what? I always wonder because I feel
- 6:35Speaker 1: like he had been doing What season was that was
- 6:39Speaker 1: that four? I think that was four? It was like
- 6:41Speaker 1: right out the gate. Yeah, when he was like saying
- 6:43Speaker 1: he didn't have a girlfriend, and yes.
- 6:45Speaker 2: Ok, that was like right when she was coming around
- 6:48Speaker 2: and he was between him trying to hang out with
- 6:51Speaker 2: you and hanging out with her.
- 6:53Speaker 1: And by the way, people still think to this day
- 6:56Speaker 1: that he and I hooked up. I mean, open book.
- 7:00Speaker 1: I would totally be open and honest if we had
- 7:03Speaker 1: hooked up. We never did so much as hold hands
- 7:07Speaker 1: or kiss each other ever he wished. But it was
- 7:13Speaker 1: so wild that he had been doing it for so
- 7:15Speaker 1: long and didn't ever think like this is going to
- 7:18Speaker 1: come out in a few months and she's going to
- 7:22Speaker 1: see the behavior. I don't understand people like that.
- 7:25Speaker 2: He wasn't in the mindset of, oh, this is what's
- 7:27Speaker 2: going to be shown. He's just playing on his lies.
- 7:30Speaker 2: Like what he does is hold down the lies.
- 7:33Speaker 1: Yeah, and like I think people like him think I'll
- 7:38Speaker 1: deal with this later. Yes, Oh, I'll just handle it
- 7:41Speaker 1: like put it, sweep it.
- 7:42Speaker 2: On in the moment and put it to the back
- 7:44Speaker 2: burner and when it comes back up again, we'll roll
- 7:46Speaker 2: something else.
- 7:47Speaker 1: Right, and we'll go down the line of you know,
- 7:51Speaker 1: I'm not perfect. I got a lot of work to do.
- 7:54Speaker 1: And then Andy calling him out saying, I feel like
- 7:56Speaker 1: every season you're talking about how you're a work in progress.
- 7:59Speaker 1: That was like his go too, oh yeah, oh yeah, yep,
- 8:02Speaker 1: you know. I I know that there are there are
- 8:06Speaker 1: people like Jacks or who have issues with addiction, but
- 8:13Speaker 1: there are there are things that even if you get sober,
- 8:19Speaker 1: they don't change, Like you still are who you are,
- 8:22Speaker 1: then side is still there. Yeah, And I think do
- 8:27Speaker 1: you watch the Valley at all? Yes? I think this
- 8:31Speaker 1: is the first season. Because I came on to vander
- 8:35Speaker 1: Pump Rules season four, I was not a confident person.
- 8:41Speaker 1: I think when people watched me. I seemed very much
- 8:46Speaker 1: like you said, vapid and holier than now. But I
- 8:48Speaker 1: think it was a defense mechanism.
- 8:51Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 8:51Speaker 1: I think it was a combination of drinking and also
- 8:56Speaker 1: being very guarded because I knew if this group saw
- 9:00Speaker 1: who I really was and how I felt about myself,
- 9:02Speaker 1: they would eat me alive.
- 9:04Speaker 2: Oh absolutely, because they were established and you were the
- 9:06Speaker 2: new one coming in very much.
- 9:08Speaker 1: So I just guard myself. Yeah. I was not a
- 9:12Speaker 1: confident person, and I think that's why I started drinking
- 9:14Speaker 1: as well, because that kind of numbed that feeling, and
- 9:17Speaker 1: then I could go out into the world and feel
- 9:19Speaker 1: uninhibited and then you know, cut to I get sober,
- 9:23Speaker 1: I get engaged, I have a baby, and then that
- 9:28Speaker 1: ends as quickly as it started, right, And so I
- 9:31Speaker 1: was kind of reeling from that and trying to figure
- 9:33Speaker 1: out my own identity. I had never gone out and
- 9:37Speaker 1: dated sober.
- 9:39Speaker 2: Which is the season that I loved you on. That
- 9:41Speaker 2: was when I started being team Lalla, because right when,
- 9:46Speaker 2: right before everything before you had Ocean and for all
- 9:51Speaker 2: of the craziness with He who shall not be named,
- 9:54Speaker 2: I became a mom. So it changed my whole perspective
- 9:56Speaker 2: in life, and I began to look at you, like, Okay,
- 10:00Speaker 2: she's going through stuff, she's struggling, she's dealing with sobriety,
- 10:04Speaker 2: she's dealing with being pregnant, going through all of this
- 10:07Speaker 2: garbage with your ax, and then coming out of that
- 10:11Speaker 2: was like, you're kind of like a rebirth for you
- 10:14Speaker 2: of like everything dropped on you and then your dad
- 10:17Speaker 2: passing and all the stuff that was just like boom
- 10:20Speaker 2: boom boom for you.
- 10:22Speaker 1: Yeah, And you know, every single person on the planet
- 10:26Speaker 1: has gone through things that are life changing, and those
- 10:29Speaker 1: those moments who shift, they shift who you are, right
- 10:33Speaker 1: And I try to remember that when I'm dealing with
- 10:36Speaker 1: people and like, there's there's a reason why we're having
- 10:41Speaker 1: a differing opinion or our perspectives are different because we've
- 10:45Speaker 1: experienced things in life that have shaped us and we
- 10:48Speaker 1: have different triggers. But I feel like this season on
- 10:52Speaker 1: the Valley, because after vander Pump was over, I really
- 10:55Speaker 1: did have to take a hard look at myself and
- 10:59Speaker 1: go from Okay, I was living off of adrenaline, going
- 11:02Speaker 1: through a custody battle, I'm sober and a single mom. Now,
- 11:08Speaker 1: this is not how I wanted my life to go,
- 11:10Speaker 1: and then I went too far the other way where
- 11:12Speaker 1: I was like, I can't be so guarded that I
- 11:15Speaker 1: don't let anyone in, and then I was almost too soft.
- 11:21Speaker 1: It was very confusing. And I feel like this season
- 11:23Speaker 1: on the Valley, after you know, two and a half
- 11:25Speaker 1: years of just sitting with myself and being a mom
- 11:28Speaker 1: and really laying roots of my own where I'm I'm
- 11:32Speaker 1: really excited to just see it felt different because I
- 11:39Speaker 1: had been on vander Pump for quite some time and
- 11:41Speaker 1: it was my It became my safe space, right and
- 11:44Speaker 1: it was comfortable. Now I'm in a new group and
- 11:46Speaker 1: I don't really know my place, but for the first time,
- 11:50Speaker 1: we'll see how it plays out. Right, But from my perspective,
- 11:53Speaker 1: from what I feel like exactly, I feel like I
- 11:57Speaker 1: sat back and was like, I'm going to hear people
- 11:59Speaker 1: out before I react, and when they say something that
- 12:03Speaker 1: maybe I don't like, I'm either going to repeat it
- 12:07Speaker 1: to make sure I got this correct before I react.
- 12:11Speaker 1: And that felt really good. I was like, that's not
- 12:14Speaker 1: like me. I'm a reactor, which I.
- 12:15Speaker 2: Think, oh yeah, absolutely, Which I think is where a
- 12:19Speaker 2: lot of people didn't like you is because you had
- 12:23Speaker 2: valid points.
- 12:24Speaker 1: It was just how you were saying it. Oh my god, girl,
- 12:28Speaker 1: I just had this conversation with my mother this morning
- 12:31Speaker 1: and yesterday She's like, it's not about what you're saying,
- 12:34Speaker 1: it's your delivery and your tone. Yep. Looking back on it, yep,
- 12:39Speaker 1: that is a conversation, Meredith, I have with my mother
- 12:41Speaker 1: on a daily basis. It's not what you're saying, it's
- 12:44Speaker 1: your delivery and your tone. And I'm like, fuck, I
- 12:47Speaker 1: really got to work on that.
- 12:48Speaker 2: Well, that's where sitting back and just taking a moment
- 12:52Speaker 2: can give you that perspective.
- 12:54Speaker 1: We'll see well when you watch The Valley, you know,
- 12:56Speaker 1: episode one airs tomorrow, which it's laying the groundwork. But
- 12:59Speaker 1: I'm really excited to wait hear your thoughts on it. Absolutely,
- 13:03Speaker 1: I can't wait. I loved this, Thank you so much.
- 13:06Speaker 1: And I loved your beef by the way, it was
- 13:09Speaker 1: so nice to hear something different than I usually hear.
- 13:12Speaker 2: Oh yeah, no, My beef was early on, and as
- 13:18Speaker 2: I've seen you change through all the seasons, especially after
- 13:20Speaker 2: season eight and then into season nine, it was like,
- 13:22Speaker 2: all right, team Ala. She's been going through a whole
- 13:26Speaker 2: bunch and this explains.
- 13:27Speaker 1: Why I love this and How old is your baby now?
- 13:31Speaker 2: He is six six Yeah, he turned seven in September.
- 13:36Speaker 1: Why is he a Rgo baby? He is, yes, yeah,
- 13:41Speaker 1: it was his birthday September fourth. He's born on the
- 13:45Speaker 1: same day as Beyonce. Yep, he's a Burgo. I love
- 13:49Speaker 1: this well. I'm happy that we could venture in a
- 13:53Speaker 1: motherhood around the same time. Thank you for not being
- 13:56Speaker 1: afraid to like face off with me. I hope you
- 13:58Speaker 1: have the best day. I was more surprised to be
- 14:01Speaker 1: reached out to. I love it well. Welcome. I hope
- 14:04Speaker 1: you're still a fan after this and we'll talk soon.
- 14:08Speaker 2: All right, thank you.
- 14:09Speaker 1: You're welcome by babe. Hi gorgeous. By this lighting is
- 14:26Speaker 1: fucking fantastic. Where are you?
- 14:29Speaker 3: I'm in my car.
- 14:30Speaker 1: Oh, there we go? You got that? You got that
- 14:32Speaker 1: good natural light going? Yeah. Yeah, welcome.
- 14:36Speaker 3: I'm happy to be here.
- 14:37Speaker 1: Are you Are you nervous?
- 14:39Speaker 3: Yes?
- 14:40Speaker 2: Are you?
- 14:41Speaker 1: Yeah, don't be nervous. It's so funny that every time
- 14:44Speaker 1: someone comes on here, they're like, I'm so nervous. I'm like,
- 14:46Speaker 1: you have nothing to be nervous about. So did we
- 14:50Speaker 1: reach out to you or did you reach out to us?
- 14:53Speaker 1: I reach out to you wow, a bitch with some ovaries.
- 14:57Speaker 1: I love it. Okay, what's your beef with me?
- 14:59Speaker 3: It was early La La on vander pump Roles watching you.
- 15:03Speaker 1: Are we talking like season four? Like first came on season.
- 15:07Speaker 4: Four maybe five, I think is when this happened. I
- 15:11Speaker 4: believe just the the and I love it now, like
- 15:14Speaker 4: i've as things have gone on, I've learned it's very
- 15:18Speaker 4: endearing about you. Just that sharp tongue was a little
- 15:22Speaker 4: off putting to me in the beginning, and I just
- 15:24Speaker 4: couldn't relate.
- 15:26Speaker 3: When you talked about I can see everyone here hasn't
- 15:30Speaker 3: been working on their summer bodies.
- 15:33Speaker 1: It was like so fucking rude, and I was so slammed.
- 15:37Speaker 4: And I know obviously, I yeah, I followed your journey,
- 15:40Speaker 4: so I've learned kind of where you were at in
- 15:43Speaker 4: that time, in this headspace you were probably in. I mean, now,
- 15:47Speaker 4: I don't think everyone was the nicest to you either,
- 15:49Speaker 4: but just the reaction it was hard for me to
- 15:53Speaker 4: relate to and so I had a hard time and
- 15:59Speaker 4: things took a turn in season seven for me with you.
- 16:03Speaker 1: Season seven, okay, so I think that I believe that
- 16:07Speaker 1: that was the season I lost my dad. I think, yeah, okay,
- 16:12Speaker 1: and you started to like me that seasons season.
- 16:16Speaker 3: Okay, that was yes, No, I know, I know you
- 16:20Speaker 3: still had it there.
- 16:21Speaker 4: But the thing was is I had lost my grandmother
- 16:24Speaker 4: and then eight months later lost my grandfather, and so
- 16:26Speaker 4: I felt like I could understand you and where you
- 16:30Speaker 4: were coming from.
- 16:31Speaker 3: Okay, it was crazy. I was like, I get it.
- 16:34Speaker 3: I get what she's going through the process.
- 16:38Speaker 4: And obviously it's nothing like losing a parent, but like
- 16:41Speaker 4: I was like, I understand how she's reacting this way.
- 16:45Speaker 4: I get it because it's it's a wild thing, the
- 16:49Speaker 4: grieving process.
- 16:50Speaker 1: It is wild, and I don't think I don't think
- 16:54Speaker 1: it matters whether it's a grandparent, you're a friend. Like
- 16:57Speaker 1: we all have such personal relationships with certain people, right,
- 17:01Speaker 1: and we're all affected differently by the grieving process. I
- 17:06Speaker 1: noticed that during that time, which I shouldn't have I
- 17:09Speaker 1: shouldn't have gone back. I had lost my dad three
- 17:11Speaker 1: weeks before cameras picked up, you know, yeah, and it
- 17:15Speaker 1: was just, I mean, earth shattering, and I was in
- 17:19Speaker 1: the stage of just being so fucking mad and just
- 17:22Speaker 1: angry at life. And that was an intense season. And
- 17:28Speaker 1: I mean, I think my hair matched how I was
- 17:30Speaker 1: feeling like I was jet black. I was trying not
- 17:35Speaker 1: to drink because I didn't want to be chaotic. Turns
- 17:37Speaker 1: out I was chaotic even without drinking. And then there
- 17:40Speaker 1: were times where I'm like, I'm just gonna like slip
- 17:42Speaker 1: some champagne, maybe a whole bottle or two, and it
- 17:47Speaker 1: was intense. Yeah, So I'm I'm actually shocked that that
- 17:52Speaker 1: was the turning point for you, because actually I think
- 17:54Speaker 1: that's the season where I actually lost a few people too.
- 17:57Speaker 4: Well, I know, and I feel like I'm actually on
- 18:00Speaker 4: the side of things where and I honestly completely was
- 18:05Speaker 4: behind you in your last season of Vanderpump And I
- 18:08Speaker 4: hear that that was you talk about.
- 18:11Speaker 1: That I like you, I like you.
- 18:13Speaker 3: I was like, I was like, I love this, Yeah
- 18:17Speaker 3: I don't.
- 18:17Speaker 4: I was like, I'm all for asking all the things
- 18:21Speaker 4: and saying all the things that to me, I was like,
- 18:23Speaker 4: I want to know, I want to hear these are
- 18:25Speaker 4: the things I want to see you.
- 18:28Speaker 1: I dig you, And it's not just because of what
- 18:31Speaker 1: you're saying to me. It's just it's just such a
- 18:34Speaker 1: different perspective. Like I usually get people on here and
- 18:37Speaker 1: they say the same fucking things like you lost me
- 18:40Speaker 1: at this point in time, and I'm like, okay, yes,
- 18:42Speaker 1: the same as everyone else. This is like refreshing. I
- 18:46Speaker 1: dig this.
- 18:47Speaker 4: And I think as a as a viewer, as a
- 18:49Speaker 4: someone like I love Brava watch all the shows. I
- 18:55Speaker 4: have tried to really figure out the audience because sometimes
- 18:59Speaker 4: I just don't fall in line with what everyone thinks.
- 19:02Speaker 4: And I just I at that point I could relate
- 19:06Speaker 4: to you in season seven and your grieving process. I
- 19:09Speaker 4: was like, I know how she's feeling because I've gone
- 19:11Speaker 4: through that, and yeah, there are times where you do
- 19:14Speaker 4: things and you're just like you don't even know, You're
- 19:17Speaker 4: just trying to go through life and just survive. Everything
- 19:19Speaker 4: is exactly that is the word survive. And it really,
- 19:23Speaker 4: it really was connected. It was like I could connect
- 19:27Speaker 4: with your story at that time, and so it made
- 19:29Speaker 4: me turn from your early seasons where I was like,
- 19:32Speaker 4: I don't know, I just those things, the things she's saying,
- 19:35Speaker 4: I just can't connect.
- 19:38Speaker 1: I can't imagine why. I mean, I look, I can't
- 19:41Speaker 1: even go back and watch even people who you know,
- 19:45Speaker 1: maybe didn't like me at the time, and then you know,
- 19:48Speaker 1: over time things become like iconic moments like Bambi eyed
- 19:51Speaker 1: Bitch in the moment I was dragged to filth and
- 19:56Speaker 1: then it became like an iconic line. But I can't
- 20:00Speaker 1: even go back and watch because I don't even recognize
- 20:02Speaker 1: that human. And every time I do an interview where
- 20:05Speaker 1: someone asks me your number one regret, it is when
- 20:10Speaker 1: I did the Summer Bodies thing, because I'm like, that
- 20:12Speaker 1: is just so foul And I was not raised that way.
- 20:18Speaker 1: But I'm telling you, when I get backed into a
- 20:20Speaker 1: corner and there's alcohol in my system, I am not
- 20:23Speaker 1: a nice person, you know.
- 20:26Speaker 4: Yeah, And I definitely like getting to know, Like I've
- 20:28Speaker 4: always listened to the podcast, so like hearing you speak
- 20:31Speaker 4: and talk about your experiences and stuff, I know that
- 20:35Speaker 4: that's not who what you believe in, like you're that's
- 20:39Speaker 4: not the person that you are. But it came off
- 20:42Speaker 4: and yeah, a lot of other things coming into a
- 20:44Speaker 4: little boiling point.
- 20:47Speaker 1: Yeah, And I remember telling my mom that I said that,
- 20:50Speaker 1: and she she was like very disappointed, and I said,
- 20:55Speaker 1: you know, they're not nice to me, and she was like,
- 20:57Speaker 1: you can't. Again, I was raised in this way. If
- 21:01Speaker 1: you can't control anybody else, you can only control yourself.
- 21:05Speaker 1: So when someone says something to you or does something
- 21:07Speaker 1: to you and you feed into it and react, it
- 21:10Speaker 1: is now your issue. This is now your fault because
- 21:13Speaker 1: you can't allow people to get you to that place
- 21:16Speaker 1: like you're a grown woman.
- 21:18Speaker 2: Right.
- 21:19Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 21:19Speaker 1: So even though I may have been treated in a
- 21:22Speaker 1: certain way, I could have I could have handled things
- 21:24Speaker 1: a lot differently, but I didn't. And that's why you know,
- 21:28Speaker 1: they had had me back on is I was a
- 21:31Speaker 1: loose cannon.
- 21:32Speaker 3: I was gonna say it made for entertaining.
- 21:36Speaker 4: I know some things that are entertaining, you know, kind of,
- 21:39Speaker 4: but you know, in the end, vander Pump lived a
- 21:42Speaker 4: long life.
- 21:43Speaker 1: You know what. It was so iconic. Do you watch
- 21:45Speaker 1: The Valley? I do.
- 21:47Speaker 4: I'm so excited. I can barely wait for it air.
- 21:51Speaker 4: I'm so excited.
- 21:52Speaker 1: I'm so excited too. I've seen by the time this airs,
- 21:55Speaker 1: you will have seen the first episode two. The first
- 21:57Speaker 1: episode is is really cute and fun, and they laid
- 22:00Speaker 1: the groundwork of what the season will be. We did
- 22:02Speaker 1: press the other day and they've seen through season or
- 22:05Speaker 1: through episode three, and they were like, it's really good.
- 22:08Speaker 1: So I'm so excited for you guys to watch it.
- 22:10Speaker 3: I'm so excited to see you and Tom back on
- 22:12Speaker 3: the screen.
- 22:13Speaker 1: I can't wait to hear what you guys think. I'm
- 22:15Speaker 1: gonna have to have you back on to give all
- 22:17Speaker 1: that thoughts.
- 22:18Speaker 4: I know, and I love Tom. I actually got to
- 22:20Speaker 4: meet him at Pride one year.
- 22:23Speaker 1: And sir great, He's such a wonderful human. He's just
- 22:27Speaker 1: like a bright light. So I think you guys will
- 22:29Speaker 1: really enjoy it. I'm so thrilled that you came on, Erica.
- 22:32Speaker 1: Thank you so much.
- 22:33Speaker 3: Yeah, you're welcome. Thanks for having me on.
- 22:36Speaker 1: Of course, anytime we'll chat soon.
- 22:38Speaker 4: Okay, bye, babe.
- 22:52Speaker 1: All right, that was so much fun. I actually every time,
- 22:55Speaker 1: every time, the two times that we've done the Hater episodes,
- 22:59Speaker 1: it's kind of the same type of thing that's brought
- 23:02Speaker 1: to me, and I'm like, we got to move on
- 23:04Speaker 1: from this. Like I'm over it. I'm bored. I've had enough.
- 23:06Speaker 1: Not that I'm bored with you guys, but like, I know,
- 23:08Speaker 1: the drill I know when I lost you, the fact
- 23:10Speaker 1: that we had people on where they talked about how
- 23:13Speaker 1: they were not a fan from the jump season four
- 23:18Speaker 1: and just talking about my drinking and my I still
- 23:22Speaker 1: have a foul mouth, I'm like a fucking sailor. But
- 23:26Speaker 1: just the way that I would talk to people and
- 23:28Speaker 1: approach people, it was just like so off putting, and
- 23:32Speaker 1: like I'm aware of that. I don't look back at
- 23:34Speaker 1: those moments and go, actually, there are times where I'm like,
- 23:38Speaker 1: she was fucking cool because she didn't care about anything,
- 23:40Speaker 1: But that was the booze. You know, I didn't care
- 23:42Speaker 1: because I was drunk. My point being is these haters
- 23:46Speaker 1: that we had on when I lost them was when
- 23:51Speaker 1: I was, you know, pretty deep in my alcoholism and
- 23:56Speaker 1: just not a kind person and unhinged and unmanageable, and
- 24:02Speaker 1: there was no telling when that turning point would hit
- 24:04Speaker 1: where I would be in a rage cut to when
- 24:10Speaker 1: these haters say that they started digging me. It was
- 24:14Speaker 1: the point in time where I had to look within
- 24:17Speaker 1: and get sober. And I know I've stated this a
- 24:21Speaker 1: million times. I'm seven and a half years sober, and
- 24:25Speaker 1: it's something that I'm very proud of. And for anybody
- 24:27Speaker 1: in the comments section, especially when I posted that Taylor, Frankie,
- 24:30Speaker 1: Paul clip of Eesa and I talking about our thoughts,
- 24:34Speaker 1: for anyone to sit back and try to discredit the
- 24:36Speaker 1: work that I have put in to my own life,
- 24:39Speaker 1: my own self had to sit back and not place
- 24:42Speaker 1: blame on anybody and then walk into a room and
- 24:48Speaker 1: identify as an alcoholic. That is a humbling experience that
- 24:52Speaker 1: not many people experience. And that's why when you walk
- 24:55Speaker 1: into those rooms, those are your people, because we all
- 24:58Speaker 1: see each other. You're defeated, you're disgusted in yourself, you're ashamed.
- 25:03Speaker 1: So for anybody to sit here and say, like your past,
- 25:07Speaker 1: what was good, It's like, I'm aware, which is why
- 25:11Speaker 1: I am where I am right now. We can talk.
- 25:16Speaker 1: Take Taylor, Frankie Paul out of it. Put anybody in
- 25:19Speaker 1: this situation. I understand that there are traumas that happen
- 25:23Speaker 1: that lead you down a path. I will never condone.
- 25:28Speaker 1: I don't give one fuck about anything that you've been through,
- 25:32Speaker 1: your trauma. If you're under the influence when there is
- 25:35Speaker 1: a child involved, you have lost me. And for those
- 25:40Speaker 1: of you who want to defend her behavior, I want
- 25:43Speaker 1: you to take her kid out of the equation and
- 25:46Speaker 1: replace that child with your own kid. And let's say
- 25:50Speaker 1: that she was huck in a chair with your child present,
- 25:53Speaker 1: what would your reaction be? Then it's not okay. If
- 25:58Speaker 1: you are so traumatized by what you have been through
- 26:01Speaker 1: that you are capable of hucking furniture with your child there.
- 26:08Speaker 1: You need to be in a fucking padded room by yourself, solo.
- 26:13Speaker 1: And I can't believe I have to like sit here
- 26:16Speaker 1: and defend this child because you guys want to defend
- 26:19Speaker 1: this grown woman. And I understand the like everyone that
- 26:26Speaker 1: I've seen in the top comments, it's like, you don't
- 26:29Speaker 1: know what it's like with the domestic violence situation. I
- 26:35Speaker 1: don't not to that level. I mean, I've never experienced
- 26:41Speaker 1: what you guys are saying, that level of just toxicity
- 26:45Speaker 1: where people are going toes, and granted I've gone toes,
- 26:49Speaker 1: I have been a human that I'm not proud of
- 26:51Speaker 1: the moment a child's brought into the mix. You better
- 26:53Speaker 1: pull your shit together, check yourself in, find a therapist
- 26:57Speaker 1: to get sober if you need to. You no longer
- 26:59Speaker 1: get to be the victim of your circumstances because the
- 27:02Speaker 1: moment that you feed into the victim mentality, you have
- 27:06Speaker 1: now traumatized your child. And guess what, the cycle continues.
- 27:09Speaker 1: Break the fucking cycle. We've all been through. Shit. I
- 27:11Speaker 1: love you, guys, Thank you so much to my haters
- 27:13Speaker 1: who have written in called in faced off, I absolutely
- 27:18Speaker 1: adore the set of ovaries that you guys possess. I'm
- 27:21Speaker 1: gonna catch you guys on Wednesday for a regular old episode.
- 27:26Speaker 1: Remember Thursday nights at nine pm An Unlikely Affair with
- 27:30Speaker 1: Yours Truly and Amber Childers drops and again on Monday
- 27:32Speaker 1: for a bonus episode, Love y'all, Bye,
