You know, we want resources not only for our families, but for the

how important is it for a man, especially a black men, that had

and obtained financial literacy. Wow. I think that's something that's very read.

I've been taught that since a child. Just on last month, we were

celebrating Financial Literacy Month, and one of the things that we went and celebrate

was Black Wall Street. So we believe in just bringing it back to h

bringing things back home, and bringing back to our people. The Bible speaks

of these things that my people payish from a lack of knowledge. And I

believe that the Lord is pulling people back in place like like yourself, like

doctor Moore, uh, and and bringing shedding a light to God's people.

They're giving us to know how or giving us to that thing of being able

to go to the next level. Uh. Some of us, you know,

we've been as the Biba said, we've been going around and this wilding's

long enough. It's time for us to come out. Our forty years is

up. It's time for us now to go ahead and cross on over.

with my brother. Um, it's it's really this this time that we see

so much go and on, not only in society and social media, but

even the church. So this is something that we have actually come together with

trying to break the barriers of traditions and religion and legalism and all those things

to keep the people in church in bondage. So this is something we really

try to get them to understand that God's will is not for you to be

broken. However, if you choose to be broke, God says, that's

okay with me, that's why the Bible says the poor would be with you

always because everybody is not going to grab the revelation. Absolutely. I love

that. I love that. So I know that, Um, we have

a few businesses together, so that you want to tap into that to talk

about want to ask your brother, well, well, let let me just

let me just grab the driver's seat down. Give you a chance to sit

people really want to know how leaders deal with the three ms, marriage,

ministry, and money. Let's talk about it. So, how how do

leaders deal with marriage? And they got to deal with ministry, money,

the emotions of people and all that. How do you deal with balancing everything

in your marriage? A posta craiv Wow, I probably can't answer that one

completely by myself. I probably need my wife without one. But one thing

I do say with marriage, I think it's got It's a lot of prayer,

a lot of understanding, a lot of forgiveness and a lot of letting

the other person be who they are, not not change them from being who

they are. But we work together to be better together, you know,

trying to balance out that that that individuality when it comes to to so many

people, this is something you know, I'm so I'm grateful. I tell

people all time, I'm grateful for my wife. We had were heading down

to twenty three years, twenty four years together and I thank God. It

just it's amazing how God have allowed us to keep to be together. Uh.

Sometimes I got on her nerves, sometimes she get on my nerves.

But then there's sometimes when you know, we come together and we have the

best moments in the world. I just thank God for the strength and that

ability to look at her and say, Okay, I ain't going to where

you ain't going over. You know, we can roll out eyes to night,

but we're gonna be all right in a minute. You know, God

for that. But you know, it's a balance, you know for people,

Uh, you know, they they don't always act like that. That

that's not a struggle. Sometimes you talk about any time you dealing with two

different people, there's always something that you're gonna have to learn to the Bible

says that this is what he's perfecting. That that's concerning us. And I'm

so glad that in my marriage over the years that God is doing some things

to perfect that that's concerning us. I'm telling you, I know it's a

lot of things in my in this marriage that I'm haven't done all the way

right, I know, But I think in the midst of this it's been

perfection. You know. I tell people, let me say this an announce

that out real out I love my wife, you know. I thank God

for my wife. God gave me that good homent. Thank God for amen.

that was dealing with the marriage that what how do you how do you address

being the leader married in the deal with the attitudes of the people in ministry,

apost the crave? How do you deal with that? Forwards? The

attitudes of the personalities, you know, all that, dealing with the people

in ministry, how hard or how easy to get? Well? The thing

about ministry for me, I've been in ministry pretty much just as long as

I've been married. So I've learned this in life, and not just because

of ministry because a lot of times we can put a bad taste in the
12:37
mouth of minute and then the mouth of what goes on. And I look

at people. A lot of times I think about what the scripture says when
12:46
Jesus came over. The Bible says that, and he looked at them,
12:50
and at that moment his ministry started because the spirit of compassion come upon him.

And that's one of the things I pray and I think God for because

He has given me that spirit of compassion. I learned throughout the years.

Now I ain't saying I got it all together, because sometimes some folks get

it. They hit some spots in your life. I'm telling you, you

know, for everybody that's speaking tongue and say that they don't you know,

God bless you, but they just like every church is just like everything else

and everybody else. You got people or everybody not having a great day.

Everybody. Everything ain't perfect for everybody. So we have to learn as who

we are to see people and learn how not to respond. So quickly I

had to learn that throughout the years. I came out from the street that

that one the way I was broke, you know, I was that first

one. If we had an issue, I was just gonna hit and deal

with it. But that wasn't what God. So He had to really deal

with my with my attitude. So I had to learn to get to the

point to love people, love them in whatever place that they was in.

Sometimes I had to love them enough to separate myself. Sometimes I had to

love them enough to cut them off. Sometimes I had to love them enough

even after they're donne did or whatever. I had to love them enough to
14:03
hold on because God won't finish. But we just got to have that compassion

and love for God because it's not easy, I promise you. Because any

you know, we all, we all carried this thing called emotion, and

sometimes emotion it steps in the forefront, and sometimes people will see emotion before

they can see your spirit. And sometimes it's hard to get your spirit man

in the right place because your emotions so riled up. So we just have

to learn how to let it be a balance. I love this part right

here, even now with you fossing more. We get to sit and talk.

You know a lot of times preachers don't, they don't have they don't

talk to nobody. You know, everybody talk to them, but they don't

talk to nobody, you know. And so a lot of us carry a

lot of stuff on our shoulders, on our chests, and sometimes I just

feel like we need to get to the point. That's what bothers me always

say, I got a problem folks to say they're good and say say five

through the hold of them, and they ain't got no friends. So the

Bible says, in order to have friends, you got the first. So

we got to intertwine with for other folks. The Bible says it this way,

I'm sharper than I'm so who we are. We got to understand that

we that i'n't that a lot of people are going to rub up against and

then ain't always going to be perfect well they rubbing, So we got to

know how to take me and keep loving them and let God lead us,

and how we deal with the hey man, I love it, I love

it, and and the other question to go along with that. We we

talked about mad she talked about ministry, and we discussed that as my wife

and now are you you and your wife also are serial entrepreneurs. How important

is that the Body of Christ or kingdom minded people understand the importance of money.

Why why is it that the church should or shy away from or don't

talk about money until its offering time step was out about I think a lot

of people don't talk about it because a lot of us have found ourselves or
16:07
a lot of us have been in a place where before. Ministry creates a
16:12
struggle for a lot of people. Whenever you're doing a lot of things,

when you're doing what God call you to do, walking on obedience to what
16:21
God call you to, that thing it costs whenever you're walking in the vision
16:27
and the purpose. And a lot of times when you find somebody that's walking
16:30
in their purpose and they vision the things that they really need is not even
16:36
there because you know what, God is breaking down that structure to get them
16:40
to where they need to be. So a lot of people have started off
16:42
in ministry with a struggle, but then as they grow, God will begin.

A lot of us had to step out in ministry, just step out
16:49
in faith. We didn't have the finances, we didn't have everything that we
16:55
needed to step out, but we stepped out on what we do. You
16:59
know, we come up to that time where you know we moved with what
17:03
we didn't see, but we moved with what we knew we had that was
17:06
faith. And every time we stepped out on faith, faith always provided.

But what has happened in the body of Christ now, and this is the
17:14
thing that I feel like has done happened. We have we have gotten to
17:18
the point that we say that we're gonna step out on faith and we're believing
17:23
that God is We say, we're believing that God isn't going to do it.

But one of the issues I'm seeing in a body of Christ that when

God bring it, people don't want to believe it, you know. So
17:34
so God opened up the door. Now understand, the Bible says that as
17:38
we grow, he says, my people parents weren't lack of knowledge. He
17:41
says, we don't know, but he says that He will supply all our
17:45
needs. So a lot of us we are in the need now because we
17:48
don't even believe that while we were sitting at the gate called beautiful, that
17:52
there's somebody coming about offering something that everybody else ain't offering. It's hard.

They take somebody like you and and and got the ericas y'all, you know

you're offering to the community a lot of times people they shown more because I

know Adolf, I know Erica. But listen, there's a price that had

to pay to be Adolf and Erica. You know, y'all call you.

They may call you Adolf and call it Erica, but if they understood the

price that it took for you to get all this stuff that you're getting.

And so we go back to what the scripture just says that you know,

a prophet is not even honored in his own time. So what happened is

but this is what I love. I talked this thing one time. I

talked about the different levels of annoyance and talking it through David. And one

of the levels of annoyingting that David had to overcome was the annoyanceing of being

home. The annoying home, that place where David was at and people recognize

David was who he was in his hometown and that wasn't a part of an
18:47
annoyance and that David had to carry. And so when people realize that people

got something to give, we look for somebody to come from the outside.

But we always say that whatever you need is in the house. So if

it's in the house, then I need to look around in the house and

look at somebody and see what's the potential, See what they have that's gonna

bring our bring us to a better place and to a place that we need

to be. We you know, it's time out for excuses. Wat should

somebody walk around in our in your community with bad credit when y'all teach bad
19:19
credit, when y'all given given people a platform to fix their credit. And

watching somebody walk around trying to figure out how to create a corporation when you

got everything that they need from ABC and B. Why should they do that?

Why should we walk around keep borrowing money from the banks when I can

sit here and tell you how to become your own bank. So we have

to understand this kind of stuff, but people don't see it. And a

lot of times, and I hate to stead like this, but a lot

of times in our community they can't see it because one they too familiar with
19:51
us, and then we don't look we ain't the right code. So but

we can, you know, but if you know, but we could put

somebody in front and say you say this for me and they would accept it

down. That's that's in a lot of cases. But we just have to

learn to understand and trust that God is equipped in his people. But what

they need. Everybody is afraid of something. We don't have to deserve it.

We were looking at things, but we don't have to deserve it anymore,

and understand it that God can do and He's equipped in people to bring

him out. I'm just a firm believer that every time I get close to

somebody, their life should change. Hallelujah. I believe there's something in something

in my mouth, in your mouth. There's some things that we have done.

I told people one of my greatest cestimonies is the time that I had

to walk away from signing the paper that we're going to make me ammuting it.

Yeah, but God knows what he was doing because it would have altered

probably the rest of my life. And but I thank God for it.

But I'm been ammuting now over and over, so I just thank God for

it. So we just have to be at that place. I believe and

I will to place. I believe in the place that God is calling us

to be, and people would just accept that He is in easy equipment people,

But once you need to get what you want. If I'm just taking

us in the first King, and if I'm going too much, y'all cut

somewhere between the eleventh and the thirteenth verse, that the Bible says that Elijah

stepped out of the Lord told Elijah come up to the mountain ye to come

out that cave. And when he got him there, the question that he

asked him, he asked him, he said, what are you doing there?

What are you doing here? Sometimes we got to look at ourselves and

looking our circumstances, situation, and just wonder, what are we doing here?

What are we doing here? How am I going to keep walking past

I was like, wow, you know the Lord he did something. Just

over a year ago. I wouldn't have been able to look at that video

because I lost my sight, had a stroke and lost my sight. But

it just hit me just being all of a sudden, I just got a

chance to see that. Not only did I just have a chance to see

that, I'm sitting here looking at y'all. So that just really blessed me

right there. Listen, I just understand. I had to break out.

So I'm gonna put it thrown, folks, and I trying to give

And let's just let me say this because people really don't understand that dynamics are

real talk. We we when we talk, when we our conversation go from

manistry to marriage, to money, to credit, to audible bills, to

try when to you name it. So these are things that me and a

part of Craving don't talk about. And as he said, iron sharpers iron

and not wood, not plastic, but iron't a lot of times we deal

with people who who coach tours thinking there are and once they listen listen to

me, once they rub up against us, they found out that we're and

then they found out that they're not. Oh you can't you can't say right

when when it's frittion. Friction creates sparks, and if two metal pieces against

each other, it's gonna be squawk of fied. I mean it's old.

But if if if I'm ironing, you would it's not gonna work. Because

I'm ironing you're a plastic. It's not gonna work. So a lot of

times those relationships don't work because they wasn't built or the same capacity or the

same material that you're built with. And so we have to understand that it

You mentioned something about becoming your own bank. Not too long ago.

You introduced me to this amazing opportunity, and if you could all like to

share with the people how this opportunity to change their lives, change the projectory

of their family life. We talk about generational wealth, So can you elaborate

a little about it, what you've come with all a couple of months ago

to share it with my wife and I. We we're happy to be business

partner with chieve with this arena. Yeah, we got have blessed something for

years to God have been teaching am I'm an accounting through throughout the years.

That's what I've done. That's what I went to school for accounting, and

I've done it for years. I got to the point that I got burnt

out with it. And so finally we got to the point that I retired,

me and my wife both. And I was so grateful to sit and

be in that place of retirement. But then my wife retired and then it's

like, all of a sudden, we started finding life again. It's like,

now, you know, I was so happy. I was glad to

see my wife not going every morning for twenty some years getting up going to
27:47
a job. And you know, and I woke up one morning and I
27:49
looked at her and she was laying there resting, and the long plot didn't
27:52
go off and she didn't have to get up. That bless me so.

But I got to the place I was so used to doing something. But

I had been teaching financial literacy so much to the people, and I was
28:06
waiting. It seemed like it was just one piece missing. And so what
28:10
I began to begin to find out. And I found this thing, and

I came in contact to this thing, and it began to show people how

to get financial freedom. And I was like, wow, it's something I've
28:22
done in the past, but I didn't have I didn't have all the pieces
28:25
to make happen. So God began to allow me to get into it.

And y'all and those of you know me. Once I get see something and

I again, I'm gonna put everything again. I'm not gonna stop until I've
28:33
then dissected it down to it again. And so I began to get into
28:37
it, and I began to find out how things was working, and I
28:41
began to see how people could go in and change your life. I was
28:45
seeing watching the market and seeing the difference and how the market was falling.

I've seen all of this stuff, and so God put me in the midst

of this thing. And as I began to see how it was going and

how it was working, I jumped into it. I did take me a

loan. I actually doctor Marvin, me and him had been talking to Marvin

Smith. We have been talking about it for a while. Doctor Marvin got

into it. As soon as he got into it, and I began to
29:08
see it wasn't even a question. So I got into it. And as

I got into it, I just took into a whole nother level. So

what what God has showed me is and what has just happened. And for

an example, I just took someone and set them up. I just did

their stuff, and as I did their stuff, they got a house,

but they're supposed to be paid off in twenty years. We sat there playing

up in less than ten years the house to be paid off. And then
29:33
they looking for retirement. They said they can't retire for another sixteen seventeen years.

So what we did, We went in and put this plan together.

The house is paid off their own bank within ten years. The projection of

what we're doing, their house is going to be paid off within them the
29:49
first three years of what we're doing. Every vehicle they got, they got
29:53
five years on it's going to be paid off. And then within the ten

years they paying off their house. So now and they're still working on their
30:00
retirement so that they have retirement for life. So that's what I love to

do. And I've seen how it's just changing life. And I even see
30:08
it. They didn't take a whole lot of money. They have to be
30:11
rich to do it, you know, we think we got to be rich

to do it. No, God has a more excellent way. If we

can walk in this more excellent way, we can see and we can get
30:21
That's why I said we have sometimes we have people ready around us. That's

life changes, but we don't take advantage of showing people how to take their

old retirement and turning the old retirement into real retirement. Some people now working

that you was getting ready to retire, got to work keep on working because

they because the way everything has come, they don't Their retirement isn't secure.

They're not a lowten it. So we've showing them how to get back on
30:47
that track that they ain't got to work these teen years. Come on,

let's get this set up so you can come on and enjoy the risk of

your life risk and not that you don't work as risk on your labor.

So that's what that's what we're doing. And you know, and I love

it. I love it, sir, And I'm seeing even now to ministries.

I just spoke with a with a passion be showing them how to take

their church and pay their church off. They so you know, it's it's

working, and it's not something that's hard. It's not something that you got

to go through and jump loops, and you're doing the same thing you've been

doing, just like y'all do with my econ. You know who wouldn't want

to join my econ? That's something that I called it. I was like,

man, you know, I'm not even I don't get a pacer up

or W two. But if you can show me that, I can take

my regular pacer up and you can pull all my money out of my regular

payer up and put in my pocket and I don't got to pay no taxes.
