J-Team 2: Jehovah Rapha · Adventures: Bible Truths in Action

• 0:02
Deep in the heart of Israel, God desires to be known by his
• 0:06
chosen people, revealing himself to Moses as Yahweh the Great.
• 0:12
I am a name too holy to utter. The Israelites call him Jehovah.
• 0:20
Throughout the Old Testament, Jehovah responds to the faith of
• 0:23
his people and shows himself strong on their behalf.
• 0:28
In remembrance of Jehovah's power and love, the people give
• 0:31
him additional names describing his ability and willingness to
• 0:35
help in their lives. Each name describes the nature
• 0:40
of the one true God. Each is Jehovah.
• 0:45
Together they are the J team. The son of the widow woman whom
• 0:56
God used to feed and provide a place for the prophet Elijah to
• 0:59
live, became very sick one day. Aren't you sure this is going to
• 1:04
work? How dare you doubt my abilities,
• 1:07
especially after you mess things up.
• 1:10
The widow and her son should both be dead by now.
• 1:13
Well, how was I supposed to know that the prophet Elijah would
• 1:17
show up? He had the J team with him.
• 1:20
The entire J team. Well, no, just Jehovah Gyra.
• 1:25
But how can I starve the widow and her son to death if Jehovah
• 1:28
Jireh's around? Did you see Jehovah Rapha the
• 1:32
Healer? No, just Jehovah Jireh, the
• 1:36
provider. Then my plan will work.
• 1:39
Sickness is my specialty. When I make the boy so sick that
• 1:43
he dies, the widow woman will get mad and kick Elijah out of
• 1:47
her house. Why pick on the boy?
• 1:52
Why not make Elijah sick and instead?
• 1:55
I've tried. Believe me, I've tried.
• 1:58
Elijah must know that Jehovah Rapha is his healer.
• 2:01
Come on, we have bad work to do. Elijah is a man of God.
• 2:06
The J team is bound to show up. What to do?
• 2:10
What to do? What's wrong with a woman?
• 2:24
Look what you've done to me, old man of God.
• 2:27
Have you come to point out my sins and kill my son?
• 2:31
What happened to your son? Give it to me.
• 2:35
Elijah took the boy up to his room, laid him on the bed, and
• 2:38
prayed to Jehovah, the Lord God Almighty.
• 2:42
Oh God, this woman has provided for me and given me a place to
• 2:47
live. Have you brought tragedy on her
• 2:50
by killing her son? Did you hear what he said?
• 2:53
I made the boy sick and he died. But Elijah thinks God did it.
• 2:58
Some man of God he is. Well, that's good, isn't it?
• 3:02
I mean, if Elijah thinks God made the boy sick, he won't pray
• 3:05
for the boy, right? Oh my God, why?
• 3:10
Please let him live, Let him live.
• 3:14
It's too late to pray for the boy.
• 3:16
He's dead, but just once I'd like someone to give me the
• 3:20
credit I deserve. Hey, you puny prophet, I killed
• 3:25
the boy, not your God. You got that?
• 3:31
He's right, Elijah. I didn't kill the boy.
• 3:34
Jehovah Rapha. If you pray for the boy, I will
• 3:39
heal him, for I am healed. Lord, let this child's life
• 3:44
return to him. You can't do that.
• 3:47
The boy is dead. Who's gonna stop me?
• 3:51
Damon is he handles all of my light work.
• 3:54
I do, I mean, I do think, think what to do, what to do, Ron.
• 4:02
Hey, where are you going? Fine, I'll stop him myself.
• 4:07
The devil soon realized this is not a messenger of God, that he
• 4:11
can engage in battle. This is God.
• 4:14
One word from his mouth is more than enough to defeat him.
• 4:20
You haven't seen the last of me, Jehovah Rapha.
• 4:24
I'll be back. Then so will I.
• 4:28
Three times Elijah prayed for the boy.
• 4:31
After the third time, the boy sat up on the bed, healed.
• 4:34
Elijah rejoiced as he picked the boy up to return him to his
• 4:38
  mother. Look here.
• 4:41
Your son, he's alive. Why I thought I had lost you.
• 4:46
Thank you, Elijah. It wasn't me, it was Jehovah
• 4:51
Rapha, the Lord God, our Healer. Now I know you are a man of God
• 4:56
and that God's word is true. If you or a loved one ever need
• 5:01
healing, you too can pray and receive from Jehovah the Lord
• 5:05
God Almighty, our Healer. He is Jehovah Rapha.
• 5:11
