- 1:04Speaker 4: one of those ones that everybody has been asking for
- 1:06Speaker 4: for a long time, and what better time to do
- 1:10Speaker 4: it than now? So this is this is gonna be
- 1:13Speaker 4: you know, a very educational, informational session.
- 1:17Speaker 5: What's going on? Brother?
- 1:20Speaker 3: So, my guy, how you brocuse everything with Troy?
- 1:23Speaker 2: What up? Brother, my guy? What's going on with you?

- 1:39Speaker 5: Welcome to the Welcome to the big show.
- 1:41Speaker 3: Thank you, my brother, thank you.
- 1:43Speaker 5: Draft ed and.
- 1:45Speaker 2: With the number one E selects they call him mister
- 1:54Speaker 2: smooth out there. You know, see that being served down
- 2:00Speaker 2: to the heights. Dykeman, What up? Man?
- 2:07Speaker 4: Yeah, let me intro Chris. So if you don't know Chris.
- 2:10Speaker 4: Chris has been teaching for us for months now at
- 2:13Speaker 4: Eyo University. I think it actually teaches two classes a
- 2:16Speaker 4: week and just breaks down stocks like one of the
- 2:20Speaker 4: best to actually on the educational side to actually explain
- 2:22Speaker 4: it from a technical standpoint, from charts, but also just
- 2:25Speaker 4: from a you know, a baseline level, explaining you know stocks,
- 2:29Speaker 4: how it works, how to get in, you know, how
- 2:32Speaker 4: to open a brokerage account, you know all this stuff
- 2:34Speaker 4: like you know, and that's one of the things with
- 2:36Speaker 4: ey University that we try to do because I know,
- 2:38Speaker 4: sometimes when we when we just talk and you might
- 2:40Speaker 4: just hear it in on market Mondays or just on
- 2:43Speaker 4: you on Instagram, it's kind of tough. It's kind of
- 2:46Speaker 4: tough to just you know, move at the beginning level
- 2:49Speaker 4: if you're just starting out. If we have an advanced conversation,
- 2:52Speaker 4: So we always try to bring it back to the
- 2:54Speaker 4: you know, a understanding so everybody can understand it from
- 2:56Speaker 4: beginning to advance.
- 2:58Speaker 5: And it's on going education that we do every single week.
- 3:02Speaker 4: So yeah, Chris is one of one of our favorite
- 3:05Speaker 4: teachers professors that we have at Eyo University. So being that,
- 3:10Speaker 4: you know, he was thinking about a topic to talk about,
- 3:13Speaker 4: and I'm like, oh, this is perfect topic because everybody
- 3:15Speaker 4: kept keeps asking about puts, how to short stock. Obviously
- 3:21Speaker 4: the stock market is going down right now, so you know,
- 3:25Speaker 4: most people are under the common misconception that you only
- 3:29Speaker 4: make money when stocks go up, but that's not necessarily true.
- 3:33Speaker 4: You can make money from stocks actually going down. Well,
- 3:37Speaker 4: and that's what we're going to talk about today, like
- 3:39Speaker 4: how you know the whole thing, like what it actually means,
- 3:41Speaker 4: what a putt is, you know, how to short the stock,
- 3:43Speaker 4: things of that nature. So of course, like anything, you know,
- 3:46Speaker 4: there's risk involved, so you know, do your research, be careful.
- 3:52Speaker 4: It's not to tell you like this is what to do,
- 3:54Speaker 4: like you should do this play right now tomorrow, but
- 3:57Speaker 4: it's to provide you information that will equip you moving
- 4:02Speaker 4: forward if you want to be a trader.
- 4:04Speaker 2: I think that's that's one of the best things about Chris,
- 4:06Speaker 2: so like not only do we talk about the things,
- 4:08Speaker 2: but he actually shows you why you're looking at he's
- 4:10Speaker 2: looking at it, and why you should be looking at
- 4:12Speaker 2: it in a very very detailed way. So I've been
- 4:15Speaker 2: sneaking in the classes, Chris, I know, I'm just sneaking
- 4:18Speaker 2: in those classes. So yeah, and assessing what we're learning
- 4:22Speaker 2: is important too, right, And that's one of the things
- 4:24Speaker 2: that he does as well. I think it's rightly important
- 4:26Speaker 2: to say like, yeah, we're airing, Yeah we kind of
- 4:29Speaker 2: understand it, but how do you know if you understand it?
- 4:31Speaker 2: And so like having that assessment piece is dope too,
- 4:33Speaker 2: So kudos to you, my brother.
- 4:34Speaker 4: And it's also important to it's not necessarily like that
- 4:39Speaker 4: this is the time where you have to short, but
- 4:41Speaker 4: you should know how to short because there's always an
- 4:44Speaker 4: opportunity to short stocks, and even if you don't use
- 4:47Speaker 4: it should it should be part of your It's like,
- 4:49Speaker 4: you know, it's like a carpenter. You have to have
- 4:52Speaker 4: different tools in the toolbox. So you just can't have
- 4:55Speaker 4: a hammer, that's it. Like you might have a school drive,
- 4:57Speaker 4: you have a hammer, you have a wrench. So now
- 5:00Speaker 4: when the time comes for you to use that tool,
- 5:02Speaker 4: then you'll actually be prepared. So this is something that
- 5:05Speaker 4: you can use now if you want, but it's not
- 5:07Speaker 4: a situation where it's like you have to use it
- 5:09Speaker 4: right now because the market is going down. It's just
- 5:12Speaker 4: something that is extremely beneficial for you to learn. So
- 5:16Speaker 4: you know, you could use it now if you want,
- 5:18Speaker 4: or when the time comes, if you have a stock
- 5:20Speaker 4: that you feel is the right stock to actually put
- 5:22Speaker 4: a put on or the short then you'll be ready.
- 5:26Speaker 4: So yeah, that's what that's what this is about. So
- 5:29Speaker 4: I'll just give a quick overview once again. Welcome to
- 5:31Speaker 4: everybody on YouTube that's joining us. We do this once
- 5:36Speaker 4: a month, the last Wednesday of the month at eight
- 5:38Speaker 4: o'clock Eastern Standard time. What we call open Enrollment is
- 5:41Speaker 4: kind of an open window to eyl University and it
- 5:45Speaker 4: just kind of gives you a preview, a sneak peak
- 5:48Speaker 4: of what we actually do every single week. And as
- 5:50Speaker 4: I said, Chris is somebody that actually teaches multiple classes
- 5:53Speaker 4: for US weekly, So you know this is this is
- 5:56Speaker 4: a good indicator of what's.
- 5:58Speaker 5: Going on inside the e y University.
- 6:00Speaker 4: So I'll talk more about Eyo University later on, but
- 6:04Speaker 4: without further ado, I'll hand it off to Chris and
- 6:09Speaker 4: let him let him, let him get in his bag.
- 6:11Speaker 3: Definitely, definitely. First of all, thanks again trying to shot
- 6:14Speaker 3: for the great opportunity to talk about such a vital
- 6:17Speaker 3: topic today, and that is how do you actually make
- 6:20Speaker 3: money in a bear market, in a correction market? How
- 6:23Speaker 3: do you actually make money and become profitable? So today's
- 6:26Speaker 3: all about knowing how to get into puts, how to short,
- 6:29Speaker 3: but most importantly knowing the technicals behind it to actually
- 6:34Speaker 3: have the confirmation to make money. So with that being said,
- 6:36Speaker 3: for those that do not know me, I'm Christopher Munios.
- 6:38Speaker 3: I'm a cybersecurity product manager at Microsoft. That's my main
- 6:43Speaker 3: you know career or you know job that I currently have.
- 6:46Speaker 3: I'm a big, big advocate for STEM careers. I'm mostly
- 6:49Speaker 3: the foundering CEO of Level of Academy is an educational platform.
- 6:54Speaker 3: The founder CEO of Level of Apago, foundering CEO of
- 6:57Speaker 3: Level of Financial, which is a creditor payer, and also
- 6:59Speaker 3: bus is funding company, and most of the CEO of
- 7:03Speaker 3: MVR Luxury Rental. So if you're ever in Miami and
- 7:06Speaker 3: you want to get a nice car, a nice crib boat,
- 7:09Speaker 3: everything like that, we definitely have that. So definitely feel
- 7:12Speaker 3: free to tape in when it comes to that. Something
- 7:15Speaker 3: critical that Rashad mentioned was that you have to be flexible.
- 7:19Speaker 3: Right Oftentimes as an investor, as a trader, you probably
- 7:22Speaker 3: have just one go to strategy. And the best thing
- 7:26Speaker 3: when it comes to being a good investor or a
- 7:28Speaker 3: good trader, is that you have to be an athlete.
- 7:31Speaker 3: You got to be adaptive, you got to be flexible
- 7:34Speaker 3: to all changing markets, and you got to have different
- 7:37Speaker 3: tool kits when it comes to your bag to really profit,
- 7:40Speaker 3: and right now is a very very tough time, you know,
- 7:43Speaker 3: to profit. However, I'm definitely going to you know, dissect
- 7:46Speaker 3: technical analysis today and give you the direct tools that
- 7:51Speaker 3: you need to be able to make money. Right There's
- 7:53Speaker 3: one word that I definitely want you to write down
- 7:56Speaker 3: today and that is stackflation. Stackflation is where we're at
- 7:59Speaker 3: right now. Although the headlines on CNN and these different
- 8:03Speaker 3: use press they say that we're about to enter that market,
- 8:06Speaker 3: we're already there. So for those that do not know
- 8:09Speaker 3: what stackflation is, tackflation is where we are at a
- 8:14Speaker 3: point where there's no economic growth, is very stagnant. So
- 8:19Speaker 3: consider a chart. When a chart is not trending either
- 8:22Speaker 3: up or down, is going to trade sideways. That's the
- 8:25Speaker 3: current economy that we're in right now. So there's definitely
- 8:28Speaker 3: a big difference between stackflation and also a recession. So
- 8:32Speaker 3: to give you a better picture of what it is,
- 8:34Speaker 3: it is definitely a period of stagnant economic growth. Right,
- 8:37Speaker 3: there's not much going on, but there's definitely high inflation.
- 8:41Speaker 3: Inflation is at eight point two percent right now, right,
- 8:45Speaker 3: and of course there's also high unemployment as well. Right.
- 8:49Speaker 3: That is the key right now when it comes to
- 8:51Speaker 3: this current market, and you have to understand that right now,
- 8:54Speaker 3: you're probably not going to have a lot of trend
- 8:56Speaker 3: or a lot of movement in the market. But it
- 8:59Speaker 3: is very critical us for us to understand that we're
- 9:02Speaker 3: already in that's tackflation market at the moment. Something else
- 9:07Speaker 3: when it comes to stackflation, is that this is definitely
- 9:11Speaker 3: a good opportunity to buy, is a good opportunity to
- 9:13Speaker 3: dollar cost average. It's also a good opportunity to do
- 9:16Speaker 3: more research when it comes to the stocks than you
- 9:18Speaker 3: actually own. So I've been actually traveling the last couple
- 9:22Speaker 3: of months and one of the questions that I do ask,
- 9:24Speaker 3: and I am monitoring the chat here on YouTube, is
- 9:28Speaker 3: that if you don't know the CEO of the company
- 9:30Speaker 3: that you're investing in, are you really investing? Right? I've
- 9:33Speaker 3: been to Atlanta, I've been to Miami, I'm about to
- 9:36Speaker 3: go to the Bay Area, And every single time I
- 9:38Speaker 3: do ask this question, do you know who the CEO
- 9:40Speaker 3: of Nvidia is? Do you know who the CEO of
- 9:44Speaker 3: a Microsoft is? If you don't know who the CEO is,
- 9:47Speaker 3: what's the vision behind a company? What's their competitive advantage?
- 9:51Speaker 3: And are you really investing or are you actually gambling
- 9:54Speaker 3: your money and praying to God that you're actually going
- 9:56Speaker 3: to make a profit. This is the mindset shift that
- 9:58Speaker 3: I want every single person part of this life today
- 10:01Speaker 3: to really change. And again, during this time of stackflation,
- 10:05Speaker 3: is very very critical for you to allocate your funds
- 10:09Speaker 3: and companies that are going to be here five to
- 10:11Speaker 3: ten years from now. So again, stackflation, it is definitely
- 10:15Speaker 3: caused by a slow or stagnant economic growth. Inflation it
- 10:19Speaker 3: is definitely increasing. I think all of us definitely feel it.
- 10:22Speaker 3: And of course the unemployment is also increasing at this time.
- 10:28Speaker 3: Just to add on to that, a bear market always
- 10:31Speaker 3: comes to an end. And I'm always going to say this,
- 10:34Speaker 3: and there's actually gonna be a lot of things that
- 10:35Speaker 3: I'm going to cover throughout today that will hopefully give
- 10:38Speaker 3: you more of a context and confirmation so that you're
- 10:40Speaker 3: able to trade at ease and invest at ease. Bear
- 10:45Speaker 3: markets always come to an end. And it's crazy, you
- 10:48Speaker 3: know why? Because always the bad days are always easier
- 10:52Speaker 3: to remember when it comes to anything, when it comes
- 10:55Speaker 3: to life, when it comes to the stock market, when
- 10:56Speaker 3: it comes to the futures market, when it comes to crypto,
- 10:59Speaker 3: the bad day are always easier to remember. How come
- 11:02Speaker 3: we never talk about the good days? How come we
- 11:04Speaker 3: never talk about when Teslon was hit. It's hit, it
- 11:08Speaker 3: hits sixteen hundred. Why weren't we happy and yelling at
- 11:11Speaker 3: that time. Now when we actually have the opportunity to
- 11:14Speaker 3: buy more and actually load the boat. Now, we're panicking
- 11:18Speaker 3: and we're actually selling. So what is a beer market?
- 11:21Speaker 3: Just to give some educational context here, a correction is
- 11:25Speaker 3: a decline of ten percent, right, a correction decline of
- 11:28Speaker 3: ten percent from the high of any security. This is
- 11:32Speaker 3: more than normal and it is also very very healthy
- 11:36Speaker 3: for those that are part of EYL, that are part
- 11:37Speaker 3: of Level UP. I've seen the chat here we talk
- 11:41Speaker 3: about market structure. After a high or high is going
- 11:44Speaker 3: to have to make a rest. After you go to
- 11:46Speaker 3: the gym and you do a set of squads or debtlifts,
- 11:48Speaker 3: whatever it is, you're definitely going to take a rest.
- 11:50Speaker 3: When you do a sprint, you're also going to take
- 11:52Speaker 3: a rest. So it's very very healthy for a stock
- 11:54Speaker 3: or any security to take a rest. So what is
- 11:57Speaker 3: a beer market. A beer market is a decline of
- 11:59Speaker 3: two twenty percent, right, So at its high, if we
- 12:03Speaker 3: pull back more than twenty percent, we are indeed at
- 12:07Speaker 3: a beer market. And we actually just introduced a beer
- 12:09Speaker 3: market last week. So one thing about the beer market
- 12:12Speaker 3: that I also want to talk about is that at
- 12:16Speaker 3: this time, this is the generational buying opportunity. When the
- 12:21Speaker 3: pandemic happened in the year of twenty twenty. COVID nineteen
- 12:24Speaker 3: came through lots of people felt it. People needed to
- 12:27Speaker 3: find a way to generate another stream of income. People
- 12:31Speaker 3: were at home and they wanted to understand, how can
- 12:33Speaker 3: it actually make my money grow? Where beer markets was
- 12:36Speaker 3: the time to buy twenty twenty March twenty twenty, That
- 12:40Speaker 3: was definitely the time to load the boat to be
- 12:42Speaker 3: able to realize, you know, some good gains after we
- 12:46Speaker 3: actually recovered. So it's very very critical for us to
- 12:48Speaker 3: talk about that today and talk about how this is
- 12:51Speaker 3: definitely the time where you want to go ahead and
- 12:54Speaker 3: you want a dollar cost tiverage and you actually want
- 12:55Speaker 3: to buy Nvidio, you want to buy Microsoft, you want
- 12:58Speaker 3: to buy Apple, you want to buy your each like
- 13:00Speaker 3: Vu and Vti. Why not the high of en video
- 13:04Speaker 3: for this years, I think it's three forty six, you know,
- 13:07Speaker 3: after earnings the things at one fifty seven. If if
- 13:10Speaker 3: I'm not mistaken, it is definitely at a discount. So
- 13:12Speaker 3: why not buy more? Generational buying opportunities don't come often.
- 13:17Speaker 3: This is the second chance that we get in the
- 13:19Speaker 3: last two years. I love stats, I love numbers, So
- 13:23Speaker 3: for that reason, I'm going to bring up this chart
- 13:25Speaker 3: here just so that we can decipher what we're talking about. Here,
- 13:29Speaker 3: give me one second. Here we go so bear market,
- 13:32Speaker 3: bull market. Here we have our bear market and red.
- 13:36Speaker 3: Here we have our bull market in blue. The average
- 13:39Speaker 3: duration of a bull market is two thousand and sixty
- 13:42Speaker 3: nine days. Now, let's go ahead, and let's go ahead
- 13:45Speaker 3: and compare that to a bear market of four hundred
- 13:48Speaker 3: and forty six days. There's a big difference here. The
- 13:51Speaker 3: average return of a bull market is two hundred and
- 13:54Speaker 3: nine percent, whereas a bull market is negative thirty eight percent. Now,
- 13:59Speaker 3: I want you to take look at the time span
- 14:01Speaker 3: that I'm showing here from nineteen sixty six all the
- 14:04Speaker 3: way to twenty and twenty two, nineteen sixty six all
- 14:08Speaker 3: the way to to twenty two. Just look at the
- 14:10Speaker 3: amount of bear markets, and then look at the gains
- 14:15Speaker 3: every single time that we recovered nineteen eighty six. Look
- 14:19Speaker 3: at the game twenty ten, Look at the game twenty twenty,
- 14:25Speaker 3: Look at the game. So why are we scared now?
- 14:27Speaker 3: If we're getting a second opportunity in the last two years,
- 14:31Speaker 3: that if you missed a twenty twenty beer market, if
- 14:34Speaker 3: you miss what happened in the pandemic maybe you were not.
- 14:37Speaker 3: Maybe you were not investing at the time. Now this
- 14:40Speaker 3: is your check, you know, your second chance to actually
- 14:43Speaker 3: go ahead and get your portfolio up and going. I
- 14:45Speaker 3: want you to keep in mind that this is indeed
- 14:48Speaker 3: a sale. We are definitely at a sale. We intered
- 14:52Speaker 3: a bear market. Something else about a bear market. Whenever
- 14:55Speaker 3: we entered a bear market, we actually go down twelve
- 14:58Speaker 3: percent and additional twelve percent, So we're definitely gonna keep
- 15:02Speaker 3: going down. But if your favorite thought, like Nvidia is
- 15:06Speaker 3: at a day, is at a discount of sixty fifty percent,
- 15:10Speaker 3: why not buy it? So definitely keep this into account.
- 15:12Speaker 3: Bull markets. There, we actually have more of a trending
- 15:15Speaker 3: bull market than what we do when it comes to
- 15:18Speaker 3: a beer market. Second, there we go. Another cool tool
- 15:27Speaker 3: that I definitely recommend everybody to look at is the
- 15:30Speaker 3: Fear and Greed Index. So the Fear Greed Index. You're
- 15:33Speaker 3: definitely gonna find this on your finbas, You're going to
- 15:35Speaker 3: find this on CNN, on Yahoo finance. And this right
- 15:38Speaker 3: here is a very cool technical tool that allows you
- 15:41Speaker 3: to understand what are the emotions that are driving the market. Right,
- 15:45Speaker 3: What are the emotions that are actually driving the market
- 15:47Speaker 3: do we have extreme fear or do we have extreme greed?
- 15:50Speaker 3: For those in the chat, do we buy when we
- 15:53Speaker 3: are in fear or do we buy when we are
- 15:55Speaker 3: in greed. Let's go ahead and give it a couple
- 15:58Speaker 3: of seconds here so that we can let the chat
- 16:00Speaker 3: tap in. And the reason why I talk about this
- 16:07Speaker 3: is because when we have extreme fear, that's when we
- 16:10Speaker 3: want to go ahead and buy more. We want to
- 16:12Speaker 3: load the boat. When the stock market is definitely pulling back,
- 16:15Speaker 3: you do not want to go ahead and sell your stocks.
- 16:18Speaker 3: And right now I have people hitting me up, Hey Chris,
- 16:20Speaker 3: should I go ahead and sell them?
- 16:21Speaker 2: Oh?
- 16:21Speaker 3: You know in my entire portfolio and just realize this,
- 16:25Speaker 3: you know, realize the loss. The mindset should be. You
- 16:28Speaker 3: know what, the stock that I love maybe is square,
- 16:31Speaker 3: maybe it's in Video, maybe it's Microsoft. The stock that
- 16:34Speaker 3: I love is at a ridiculous discount. Why don't I
- 16:37Speaker 3: Why don't I go ahead and buy more and have
- 16:39Speaker 3: a heavier position. Now I'm going to put it more
- 16:42Speaker 3: into a perspective when it comes to my community. Why
- 16:46Speaker 3: every time that Gucci sneakers are down or have a
- 16:49Speaker 3: discount of thirty percent, the lines are packed right outside
- 16:53Speaker 3: when there's a Black Friday sale for Louis Baton, the
- 16:55Speaker 3: lines are packed right outside. Why don't we actually have
- 16:58Speaker 3: that exact same mindset for stocks that can really that
- 17:03Speaker 3: can help us, you know, realize generational wealth and that
- 17:06Speaker 3: we can actually pass down to our kids and hopefully
- 17:08Speaker 3: generations down the road. Why do we have that exact
- 17:11Speaker 3: same so you know, that exact same approach, And that's
- 17:14Speaker 3: what I'm talking about here, extreme fear. We load the boat.
- 17:17Speaker 3: This is totally fine. I want every single person to
- 17:19Speaker 3: be at ease because this just presents opportunities to buy
- 17:23Speaker 3: more and be able to have a larger position when
- 17:25Speaker 3: it comes to those stocks that you actually love. And
- 17:28Speaker 3: I you know, I see that we have two hands up.
- 17:31Speaker 3: I'll go ahead and take those two questions.
- 17:34Speaker 2: Yeah, we're gonna wait. We're gonna wait to after Chris.
- 17:37Speaker 3: All right, all right, I got you. So here's the question,
- 17:43Speaker 3: do you want more sauce? You know, we talked about
- 17:45Speaker 3: the current market. The current condition we're definitely at a
- 17:48Speaker 3: at a stackflation phase at the moment is very very
- 17:51Speaker 3: different than what it is of a recession. It's all
- 17:54Speaker 3: about that, you know, mindset shift. Let's let's talk about
- 17:57Speaker 3: some bear market statistics, cause again we're definitely gonna hone
- 18:00Speaker 3: in on that this definitely presents another buying opportunity. It
- 18:04Speaker 3: presents a second chance. Right over a dozen of corrections
- 18:08Speaker 3: have taken place since the year two thousand. This, Sha'll
- 18:12Speaker 3: let you know what, It is totally okay that if
- 18:15Speaker 3: we have a correction, is very very healthy for that stock.
- 18:19Speaker 3: Double digit corrections occur on average every one point eight
- 18:23Speaker 3: five years, subheading them. So it is totally okay that
- 18:27Speaker 3: if we had a very great twenty twenty one, it's
- 18:29Speaker 3: totally okay for you for us to have a small
- 18:32Speaker 3: pullback or enter a beer market. Here in twenty twenty two,
- 18:36Speaker 3: stocks lose thirty six percent on average in a bear market.
- 18:39Speaker 3: By contrast, stocks gained one hundred and fourteen percent on
- 18:43Speaker 3: average during a bull market. Just just think about that
- 18:47Speaker 3: for a second. I mean, let us sink in for
- 18:48Speaker 3: a second, thirty six percent to a gain of one
- 18:51Speaker 3: hundred and fourteen percent. These are the numbers that I
- 18:55Speaker 3: want you to think about every single day. So let's
- 18:58Speaker 3: assume that you're gonna invest for fifty year, forty years,
- 19:00Speaker 3: thirty years. You're trying to realize generational wealth like I
- 19:04Speaker 3: am myself. Assuming a fifty year investment horizon, you can
- 19:08Speaker 3: expect to live through about fourteen bear markets, give or take.
- 19:12Speaker 3: It is totally okay to go through a bear market.
- 19:15Speaker 3: Why because a bear market percent another opportunity for you
- 19:18Speaker 3: to buy. Of the last ninety two years of market history,
- 19:22Speaker 3: bear markets have comprised only about twenty point six of
- 19:26Speaker 3: those years. Put another way, stocks have been on the
- 19:29Speaker 3: rise for seventy eight percent of the time. If you
- 19:32Speaker 3: ask me, seventy eight percent is not a bad number. Actually,
- 19:35Speaker 3: it's a very lucrative number and definitely percent a lot
- 19:38Speaker 3: of opportunities for you to buy, reinvest, reinterer, and definitely
- 19:41Speaker 3: look at other stocks. Now, here's the big question that
- 19:47Speaker 3: I have for every single person out you know in
- 19:51Speaker 3: this part of this audience, part of this live is
- 19:54Speaker 3: your portfolio recession proof? And this is what I really
- 19:58Speaker 3: want to hone in on. I want every single person
- 20:01Speaker 3: to really think about your portfolio and the stocks that
- 20:04Speaker 3: you believe in every single day. Again, I talked about
- 20:06Speaker 3: how in Miami, Atlanta, when I asked who's the CEO
- 20:10Speaker 3: of a MD it was crickets in the room. It
- 20:13Speaker 3: was definitely crickets. You need to understand a couple of
- 20:16Speaker 3: different things. Who's the CEO. If you do not know
- 20:20Speaker 3: who the CEO is, honestly, you should not be investing
- 20:24Speaker 3: in that company. Here's why. When you invest into the
- 20:27Speaker 3: stock market, which is a proven way for you, you know,
- 20:30Speaker 3: for you to realize wealth, you're basically hiring the best
- 20:34Speaker 3: CEOs across the world to make your money grow. If
- 20:38Speaker 3: you do not know the vision of the company. If
- 20:40Speaker 3: you do not know that Microsoft's one of the you know,
- 20:43Speaker 3: one of Microsoft's biggest revenue is actually cloud computing, which
- 20:47Speaker 3: is Azure. If you do not know what that is,
- 20:49Speaker 3: are you really investing or are you actually gambling? If
- 20:54Speaker 3: you do not know the competitive advantage that in Nvidia has,
- 20:58Speaker 3: then are you really investing? If you don't know the
- 21:00Speaker 3: product line or the services that they actually provide and
- 21:04Speaker 3: the different ways that they can actually bring in revenue
- 21:06Speaker 3: back into the company, are you really investing into the market?
- 21:11Speaker 3: Are you really invested into that company? Me myself, I'm
- 21:14Speaker 3: heavily invested into Microsoft and Video and I go Vuo
- 21:19Speaker 3: and VTI. Definitely invested into my ETFs and I dollar
- 21:22Speaker 3: cost average every single week. I do not care what
- 21:24Speaker 3: the price is. Why, because my vision is long term.
- 21:28Speaker 3: And here's where it really comes down to. It comes
- 21:31Speaker 3: down to step number one, what is your goal? Is
- 21:35Speaker 3: your goal? Is your goal short term or do you
- 21:37Speaker 3: have long term goals? Depending on your goals, it really
- 21:41Speaker 3: defines the strategy that you're going to have when it
- 21:43Speaker 3: comes to the stock market.
- 21:44Speaker 2: Right.
- 21:45Speaker 3: So knowing the CEO, knowing the vision of the company,
- 21:48Speaker 3: knowing whether or not that company has an unbreakable competitive advantage,
- 21:52Speaker 3: and also knowing the product line and services is going
- 21:55Speaker 3: to be monumental in paramount to the success of your portfolio.
- 21:59Speaker 3: So there's folks that oftentimes to have a portfolio of
- 22:03Speaker 3: stocks that I don't even know what they do right,
- 22:06Speaker 3: or they don't even know what they do right. So
- 22:08Speaker 3: knowing this will definitely help you out. And if you
- 22:11Speaker 3: and if you do not know the answers to these
- 22:14Speaker 3: different questions, I highly recommend you to take some time
- 22:17Speaker 3: out of the week and get these answers because this
- 22:20Speaker 3: will definitely let you know whether or not you actually
- 22:23Speaker 3: have a recession prof portfolio. Dollar cost savaging. Right, So
- 22:31Speaker 3: we talked about a couple of different ways that you're
- 22:33Speaker 3: able to hedge that you're able to, you know, stay
- 22:36Speaker 3: alive when it comes to this very market. Aside from
- 22:38Speaker 3: buying our shares, you want a dollar cost savage. So myself,
- 22:42Speaker 3: when it comes to Microsoft, I have around six hundred
- 22:45Speaker 3: shares of Microsoft's right I'm buying every single week. Especially
- 22:49Speaker 3: now that Microsoft is at two sixty two fifties, I
- 22:52Speaker 3: definitely want to buy that time, knowing that the highest
- 22:55Speaker 3: three fifty, so it is definitely at a discount at
- 22:57Speaker 3: this at this moment. The reason why you want to
- 22:59Speaker 3: doe dollar costs average is because it really decreases your
- 23:03Speaker 3: exposure to price volatility. Dollar cost averaging can definitely save
- 23:08Speaker 3: your portfolio, especially if you believe in those companies that
- 23:11Speaker 3: you're actually investing in. And this is the question where
- 23:14Speaker 3: you have to ask yourself, do you invest and do
- 23:17Speaker 3: you actually believe in these different companies that are part
- 23:19Speaker 3: of your portfolio. I see people oftentimes that they have
- 23:23Speaker 3: fifty to one hundred disparate stocks in their portfolio. Why
- 23:28Speaker 3: not have five to six stocks that you know that
- 23:31Speaker 3: they're going to be here five to ten years from
- 23:32Speaker 3: now and just double down and have a larger percision
- 23:36Speaker 3: when it comes to those stocks that will set you
- 23:38Speaker 3: apart from folks that have one hundred or one hundred
- 23:42Speaker 3: and fifty different stocks and maybe have two to three shares.
- 23:45Speaker 3: What I'm trying to say here is that the larger
- 23:48Speaker 3: the position that you actually have when it comes to
- 23:49Speaker 3: the stocks, the more gains that you're able to actually
- 23:52Speaker 3: realize in a short amount of time as well. So
- 23:54Speaker 3: dollar cost averaging is definitely one of the ways that
- 23:57Speaker 3: you can make money even with in a big market
- 24:02Speaker 3: or any or any single pullback. Something else that you
- 24:05Speaker 3: can actually invest into is inverse ETFs. So inverse ETFs
- 24:09Speaker 3: allow investors to short the market, so as the stocks
- 24:12Speaker 3: are coming down, you can actually invest in these different ETFs.
- 24:16Speaker 3: I will only recommend these different ETFs for short term hodes.
- 24:20Speaker 3: And something else that I definitely recommend is to actually
- 24:22Speaker 3: put a stop loss or a trailing stop loss when
- 24:24Speaker 3: it comes to these different inverse ETFs that will help you,
- 24:28Speaker 3: you know, minimize the risk that you actually have when
- 24:30Speaker 3: it comes to these different stocks. And here at the bottom,
- 24:33Speaker 3: I just put two different inverse ETFs that are very
- 24:36Speaker 3: very famous, and the first one is the sqqq which
- 24:39Speaker 3: is basically the opposite of QQQ. So if you do
- 24:43Speaker 3: believe that QQQ will be heading down. This is definitely
- 24:46Speaker 3: one of the assets or different securities that you're able
- 24:50Speaker 3: to invest in. Also, we else there's the SDS. The
- 24:53Speaker 3: SDS tracks the SMP five hundred, which is basically the
- 24:58Speaker 3: opposite of the SMP five hundred. There's different ways that
- 25:01Speaker 3: you're able to invest and get into the market. Again, flexibility,
- 25:06Speaker 3: becoming adaptive, and being versatile will definitely help you out
- 25:12Speaker 3: when it comes to the stock market. And me personally,
- 25:15Speaker 3: it doesn't matter what the stock market is doing. I'm
- 25:17Speaker 3: trying to find different ways that i can definitely hedge
- 25:20Speaker 3: against and I'm never sticking to one single strategy. You're
- 25:23Speaker 3: gonna find people that they only stick to one strategy
- 25:27Speaker 3: and once the market changes, they no longer make any
- 25:31Speaker 3: money or they're not profitable. Why because they're not being
- 25:35Speaker 3: flexible or they do not adapt to the changes of
- 25:38Speaker 3: the stock market. You have to be an athlete, just
- 25:41Speaker 3: like a sport. You've got to be flexible, you got
- 25:43Speaker 3: to be versatile, you got to be the jack of
- 25:45Speaker 3: all trades. Same thing here when it comes to the
- 25:47Speaker 3: stock market. For you, you actually become profitable and realize
- 25:51Speaker 3: generational wealth. These are definitely some of the ways that
- 25:53Speaker 3: you're able to make money.
- 25:55Speaker 2: Because really quickly. So I see short term holds and
- 25:58Speaker 2: you said stop blows, is it? But centers that you
- 26:01Speaker 2: would recommend for a stop loss if somebody is out
- 26:03Speaker 2: there listening to them.
- 26:05Speaker 3: I would say for beginners, ten percent, I think ten
- 26:07Speaker 3: percent is more than recommended. I think that's a very
- 26:10Speaker 3: comfortable percentage for those that are beginners. For those that
- 26:14Speaker 3: are more advanced and more seasoned, then you can of
- 26:16Speaker 3: course go to twenty twenty five percent, but it definitely
- 26:18Speaker 3: depends on one on your goal. Two you know what's
- 26:22Speaker 3: the most the size of your account. But I think
- 26:25Speaker 3: ten percent is more than doable perfect, definitely definitely. Next
- 26:29Speaker 3: is put options. Put options is definitely the way right.
- 26:34Speaker 3: And we've had indicators since the summertime, and I'm going
- 26:38Speaker 3: to show you these different indicators that let us know
- 26:41Speaker 3: that a bear market was indeed coming right. Market structure
- 26:45Speaker 3: is the way to go, and technical analysis is the
- 26:49Speaker 3: way to go. I talk about it all the time.
- 26:51Speaker 3: For the earners. For the level of family, price action
- 26:54Speaker 3: is definitely king right. This will definitely help you understand
- 26:58Speaker 3: whether or not we're actually we're gonna have a change
- 27:00Speaker 3: in momentum or trend when it comes to the stock market.
- 27:04Speaker 3: So what is a put option? So put option is
- 27:07Speaker 3: a contract that you buy and it gives the owner
- 27:10Speaker 3: the option, but not the requirement to sell a specific
- 27:13Speaker 3: underlying security at a predetermined price within a certain amount
- 27:18Speaker 3: of time. Right, that certain amount of time is the
- 27:20Speaker 3: expiration that those are one of the components that are
- 27:24Speaker 3: part of a option contract. So put options is definitely
- 27:27Speaker 3: one of the ways that if you believe that QQQ,
- 27:29Speaker 3: that if in video Microsoft, if these different securities are
- 27:32Speaker 3: going down, this is one of the ways that you
- 27:35Speaker 3: can actually go ahead and make some money. So to
- 27:38Speaker 3: put it into more perspective, when you buy a put option,
- 27:41Speaker 3: you're anticipating and I definitely put it anticipating in gold
- 27:45Speaker 3: here that the value of the underlying stock will decrease
- 27:48Speaker 3: in value over the course of the contract. Again anticipating.
- 27:53Speaker 3: There's no one hundred percent in any market. We can't
- 27:56Speaker 3: time the market, we can't predict the market. What we
- 27:59Speaker 3: can do is that we can build a hypothesis of
- 28:02Speaker 3: what's going to happen, and then we can gather evidence.
- 28:05Speaker 3: We can you know, we can actually gather confluence that
- 28:09Speaker 3: can help us. You know, build an argument for our hypothesies.
- 28:12Speaker 3: And again I'm going to show you different ways that
- 28:14Speaker 3: you're able to do that with technical analysis to be
- 28:17Speaker 3: able to make money every single day. All right, So
- 28:20Speaker 3: here we go. So when it comes to the put option,
- 28:25Speaker 3: you know, the direction of the stock market definitely determines
- 28:29Speaker 3: what type of contracts you will have or you might
- 28:32Speaker 3: take on. And I'm going to go ahead and just
- 28:34Speaker 3: get my tool here just to highlight a couple of
- 28:37Speaker 3: different things. If you think that the stock price will
- 28:40Speaker 3: move up, you're more thanizing going to buy a co
- 28:42Speaker 3: option or sell a put option. If you think that
- 28:46Speaker 3: the stock price will stay stable, you can sell a
- 28:49Speaker 3: call option or sell a pull a put option. If
- 28:53Speaker 3: you think that the stock price will go down, which
- 28:55Speaker 3: is you know the market that we're definitely in right now,
- 28:58Speaker 3: you want to go ahead and you want to buy
- 28:59Speaker 3: a a put option, and you want to sell a
- 29:02Speaker 3: call option. So put options is definitely one of the ways.
- 29:06Speaker 3: I'm going to show you exactly what happened. First, I'm
- 29:08Speaker 3: going to go to the charts and talk about the
- 29:12Speaker 3: strike price. Right, So we talked about the expiration. Right.
- 29:15Speaker 3: When you buy a option contract, you have to specify
- 29:18Speaker 3: a expiration. If I were to buy a Nvidia one
- 29:22Speaker 3: D and fifty put for this week, that will be
- 29:25Speaker 3: called a weekly, right, So weeklies are definitely risky, and
- 29:29Speaker 3: you should definitely go ahead and put you know, you
- 29:32Speaker 3: should definitely go at least two weeks out when it
- 29:34Speaker 3: comes to your option contracts, just to buy some time.
- 29:38Speaker 3: So the strike price is really really critical because that
- 29:41Speaker 3: allows you to understand whether or not your option contract
- 29:45Speaker 3: is in the money, out the money, or at the money.
- 29:50Speaker 3: So actually, Troy Rashott, I got my iPad here that
- 29:53Speaker 3: I would like to do a quick demonstration on what
- 29:56Speaker 3: is in the money, out the money, at the money.
- 29:58Speaker 3: But I just need some help when it comes.
- 29:59Speaker 2: To this, all right, what you need?
- 30:02Speaker 3: So my iPad is called Chris iPad. Gotcha, Yeah, let
- 30:07Speaker 3: me know if you're able to put that one for
- 30:09Speaker 3: a co host, HM, let's sit here, let's see, And
- 30:25Speaker 3: I'm actually gonna go ahead and just raise my hand
- 30:27Speaker 3: from my iPad so you're able to see.
- 30:28Speaker 2: Yeah, once you raise your hand, Uh, yeah, there you go.
- 30:31Speaker 2: I see it. Is it the CM capital?
- 30:35Speaker 3: Y's probably the capital? Yeah, gotcha, Yeah, there we go. Excellent,
- 30:43Speaker 3: Thank you brother, only the host can sharing this meeting.
- 30:47Speaker 2: Let me see, I got you right now, I'm.
- 30:50Speaker 3: Gonna stop sharing here and then there we go. Excellent,
- 30:57Speaker 3: there we go. All right, excellent. So we covered this
- 31:04Speaker 3: in EYL, but I'm gonna go ahead and cover it
- 31:06Speaker 3: here because we definitely need to understand what is the
- 31:08Speaker 3: strike price in the money, out the money, and of
- 31:11Speaker 3: course at the money. So give me one second second,
- 31:29Speaker 3: So in the money, at the money, and again we're
- 31:32Speaker 3: gonna go ahead and just say that we have a
- 31:33Speaker 3: stock like in vidio and video, let's say at one sixty, right,
- 31:36Speaker 3: the price of Nvidia at one sixty. And I'm just
- 31:39Speaker 3: gonna show this demonstration for calls. So we're first going
- 31:43Speaker 3: to start with calls and then from there we are
- 31:45Speaker 3: going to go into the put explanation. Right, So in
- 31:49Speaker 3: the money, out the money, and also at the money,
- 31:52Speaker 3: give me one section one uh second. Here will go
- 31:55Speaker 3: ahead and just get my my pental work one quick second.
- 32:02Speaker 6: Mm hmm.
- 32:05Speaker 4: YouTube, hit the like button and share if you can
- 32:09Speaker 4: greatly appreciate.
- 32:10Speaker 3: It one quick second. I'll be right back.
- 32:39Speaker 4: So as we wait for Chris to come back, we'll
- 32:42Speaker 4: take a quick break, intermission break, and we'll tell you
- 32:47Speaker 4: more about Eyo University. So once again, Chris's professor does
- 32:52Speaker 4: this twice a week, so a lot of times people ask, like,
- 32:54Speaker 4: what's the difference between Eyo University and podcasts or like
- 32:57Speaker 4: market Mondays. And it's a hands on learning experience where
- 33:00Speaker 4: it's designed to kind of be a classroom where take
- 33:02Speaker 4: it slow, answer questions, go through presentations.
- 33:06Speaker 5: It's a community. So that's what it's kind of like private.
- 33:09Speaker 4: School as opposed to publicher where it's like, you know,
- 33:11Speaker 4: public school, the information is always going to be available
- 33:13Speaker 4: for free, whether it's on YouTube or Apple, podcasts or Instagram.
- 33:18Speaker 4: But you know, the Eyo University almost like nine thousand
- 33:21Speaker 4: members I think is in there right now, and you know,
- 33:24Speaker 4: a private Facebook group and MG the Mortgage Guide does
- 33:26Speaker 4: real estate calls, I do financial planning calls. We have
- 33:28Speaker 4: a movie club, book club, weekly classes, and you know
- 33:32Speaker 4: it's it's all done at you know, individual speed, much
- 33:36Speaker 4: smaller classrooms, individual learning staff. And the best part is
- 33:42Speaker 4: actually the community that's actually built because people actually get to.
- 33:44Speaker 5: Network with each other and build with each other.
- 33:46Speaker 4: So that's kind of the difference between you know, what
- 33:50Speaker 4: we've built on the bigger platform as far as you
- 33:53Speaker 4: know for the media side, for the podcasts and YouTube
- 33:57Speaker 4: and things of that nature, and what we built on
- 33:59Speaker 4: the community side.
- 34:00Speaker 5: It's called Eyo University.
- 34:01Speaker 2: Yeah, and I think one of the dope things about
- 34:03Speaker 2: especially what Chris is doing. A lot of times we
- 34:05Speaker 2: get information and we can't apply it in real time,
- 34:07Speaker 2: and so one of the best things is that his
- 34:09Speaker 2: class every Monday at noon is happening while trades, while
- 34:13Speaker 2: the market is open, and so we can hear the
- 34:15Speaker 2: information from twelve to one point thirty a lot of
- 34:18Speaker 2: times ask questions and then actually go out and that
- 34:20Speaker 2: really apply it. And then just for a follow up,
- 34:22Speaker 2: he has another class on Tuesday. So it's really hands
- 34:25Speaker 2: on and it goes from the beginning level to a
- 34:28Speaker 2: more intermediate level to sometimes advance and so you can
- 34:32Speaker 2: enter anywhere you're at. I know a lot of us
- 34:34Speaker 2: have joined Ewy Young University and we've grown in trading
- 34:37Speaker 2: over the course of the past six or seven months,
- 34:39Speaker 2: or even some of us who've been here from the
- 34:41Speaker 2: beginning of the past two years. So you know, it's
- 34:43Speaker 2: one of those things where you can take your time
- 34:44Speaker 2: and learning. And the best thing, like Rashad said, is
- 34:46Speaker 2: that there's people learning at the same pace you are.
- 34:48Speaker 2: And so when you get that community feel, it's more
- 34:51Speaker 2: of a situation where it's like, all right, I have
- 34:53Speaker 2: somebody who is my air like that I can actually
- 34:56Speaker 2: learn with and go with through my journey of investment.
- 34:59Speaker 2: So it's a beautiful thing. I've learned a lot. I've
- 35:01Speaker 2: learned a lot being in these classes. And shout out
- 35:03Speaker 2: to everybody in e uy lu.
- 35:05Speaker 5: Yeah for sure, Chris you ready or called the audible
- 35:09Speaker 5: see your chart going up.
- 35:10Speaker 3: Yeah, let's get it. Let's get it. Let's get it.
- 35:13Speaker 3: My pencil acting acting, acting, acting out. But all right,
- 35:16Speaker 3: so we're gonna do it here. I'm gonna go ahead
- 35:18Speaker 3: and just drag this all the way to the right
- 35:20Speaker 3: hand side. And let's go ahead and do this right.
- 35:23Speaker 3: We'll use the text here in trading view. I'm telling
- 35:25Speaker 3: you this is why being flexible and being versatile can
- 35:29Speaker 3: definitely be helpful. Right, So let's say in video has
- 35:32Speaker 3: a price of one sixty right, so the price of
- 35:35Speaker 3: Nvidia it's one sixty second. Let's go ahead and make
- 35:39Speaker 3: this a little bit bigger. And this is for calls.
- 35:43Speaker 3: So I want you to understand how to pick a
- 35:46Speaker 3: end the money out the money options contract and be
- 35:49Speaker 3: able to be profitable in it. Right, So one sixty
- 35:53Speaker 3: is the current price for in video, right if I
- 35:57Speaker 3: and you know within the options chaining, when you try
- 35:59Speaker 3: to choose that options contract, you're also going to see
- 36:03Speaker 3: prices like one sixty one, right, I'm gonna go ahead
- 36:06Speaker 3: and put it here. You're also going to see prices
- 36:09Speaker 3: like one fifty nine or one fifty eight. Right. And
- 36:20Speaker 3: because the price of one sixty or the or in
- 36:24Speaker 3: video is at one sixty, if you choose a option
- 36:27Speaker 3: contract that is a one sixty call, that will be
- 36:31Speaker 3: a at the money contract because that is the current
- 36:35Speaker 3: price of in video. So one sixty is the current price.
- 36:37Speaker 3: If you choose a one to sixty option contract, that
- 36:40Speaker 3: will be a at the money option contract if you
- 36:43Speaker 3: choose a one sixty one, right, keeping in mind that
- 36:47Speaker 3: in video is only at one sixty. If you choose
- 36:49Speaker 3: a one sixty one option contract and video has not
- 36:53Speaker 3: hit one sixty one yet, so for that reason, this
- 36:57Speaker 3: will be a out of the money contracts. So out
- 37:00Speaker 3: of the money aka OTM. So when they hear you
- 37:05Speaker 3: say OTM, this is what they mean. This will be
- 37:08Speaker 3: a out of the money options contract. If you choose
- 37:12Speaker 3: a one to fifty nine option contract. Again, in Vidia
- 37:15Speaker 3: has already surpassed one, so that will be a in
- 37:20Speaker 3: the money options contracts or in the money aka that
- 37:24Speaker 3: will be im right, So in the money equals im
- 37:28Speaker 3: and this is how you were able to get your
- 37:32Speaker 3: option contracts for calls. Right, If you want to go
- 37:35Speaker 3: for costs one sixty one out of the money, one
- 37:38Speaker 3: sixty will be at the money because that is the
- 37:40Speaker 3: current price for in video. One fifty nine will be
- 37:43Speaker 3: a in the money because Nvidia has already surpassed that
- 37:48Speaker 3: that price.
- 37:49Speaker 2: Right.
- 37:49Speaker 3: Now, let's go ahead and change it up a little bit,
- 37:52Speaker 3: and let's go for I'm gonna try to draw in
- 37:54Speaker 3: here four puts, right, So for puts, there we go.
- 37:59Speaker 3: So for pus for Nvidia, it's gonna be a little
- 38:01Speaker 3: bit different, right, I'm gonna go ahead and just take
- 38:03Speaker 3: this text and bring it down. Let me take this
- 38:06Speaker 3: banging down, and let me go ahead and take this
- 38:08Speaker 3: out the way as well. So for this one, it's
- 38:11Speaker 3: gonna be a little bit different because which one to
- 38:13Speaker 3: you know? Say that in Vidia is going to go down?
- 38:16Speaker 3: So again one sixty is the current price, right, So
- 38:20Speaker 3: if you go for one sixty on the puts. This
- 38:24Speaker 3: is the current price. If I choose a one to
- 38:25Speaker 3: sixty put, that will be a at the money contract.
- 38:29Speaker 5: Right.
- 38:30Speaker 3: If I go ahead and choose a one to fifty nine,
- 38:34Speaker 3: that will be out of the money, right, because in
- 38:37Speaker 3: Vidia has not decreased or gone down to the one
- 38:41Speaker 3: to fifty nine level. If I choose a one sixty one,
- 38:45Speaker 3: this will be a d the money. So this actually
- 38:47Speaker 3: is the opposite when it comes to puts. The one
- 38:50Speaker 3: sixty one becomes the end of money option contract and
- 38:54Speaker 3: the out of the money is the one to fifty
- 38:56Speaker 3: nine because in Vidia has not yet decreased to one
- 38:58Speaker 3: fifty nine. So this is how you're able to choose
- 39:01Speaker 3: your option contracts. Now, a question that I often get
- 39:03Speaker 3: is this, Chris, if if I'm a scalper. And for
- 39:07Speaker 3: those that don't know what a scalper is, a scalper
- 39:09Speaker 3: is a type of trader that you're in and out right,
- 39:12Speaker 3: You're usually in a trade from you know, less than
- 39:15Speaker 3: eight minutes. You know, that is the type of trader
- 39:17Speaker 3: that I am. I go in heavy, and I'm in
- 39:19Speaker 3: and out. I'm just trying to capitalize of a small
- 39:22Speaker 3: movement when it comes to the stock market, if I'm
- 39:24Speaker 3: a you know, if I'm a scalper or if I'm
- 39:27Speaker 3: a day trader, which option contract should I go for? Well,
- 39:32Speaker 3: you should definitely go for in or at the money contracts.
- 39:36Speaker 3: And here's the reason why. Aside from understanding the stripe
- 39:39Speaker 3: price when it comes to options, you also want to
- 39:43Speaker 3: understand the Greeks. So the Greeks allows you to understand
- 39:47Speaker 3: how how much money you will make if that trade
- 39:50Speaker 3: actually goes your way. So in and at the money
- 39:53Speaker 3: contract should be the preferred or the or the recommended
- 39:56Speaker 3: option contracts if you are a day trader or a scalper.
- 40:01Speaker 3: The only time, and again I'm gonna say this again,
- 40:03Speaker 3: the only time that you're going to choose a out
- 40:06Speaker 3: of the money contract is if you're going to swing
- 40:10Speaker 3: or if you're going to go into leap calls. That
- 40:12Speaker 3: is the only way that I would say that it
- 40:14Speaker 3: will be lucrative for you to go for a out
- 40:16Speaker 3: of the money contract. In the money, at the money
- 40:19Speaker 3: definitely have the best Greeks, and the Greeks will definitely
- 40:22Speaker 3: be on your side when it comes to you and
- 40:25Speaker 3: at the money. When in respect to either being a scalper,
- 40:28Speaker 3: or if not being a day trader. When it comes
- 40:31Speaker 3: to the stock market.
- 40:35Speaker 4: One thing that I just want to drill down is
- 40:37Speaker 4: that a this is for people that are interested in
- 40:42Speaker 4: being traders. You don't have to be a trader, but
- 40:45Speaker 4: if you are interested in you know, having that as
- 40:47Speaker 4: part of your arsenal, and you need to know how
- 40:50Speaker 4: to you know, make put options. And then also and
- 40:53Speaker 4: you know, either one that you can chime in but
- 40:56Speaker 4: you don't want to keep it's not something that you
- 40:57Speaker 4: keep for a long period of time, yeah, or it's
- 41:00Speaker 4: are usually more short term as opposed to like leap options,
- 41:03Speaker 4: what could be potentially years, like years, two and a
- 41:06Speaker 4: half years for a leap call.
- 41:08Speaker 2: You agree with that, Yeah, And I think Chris, you
- 41:11Speaker 2: spoke about that in the presentation kind of around at
- 41:13Speaker 2: the same time when I was talking about stop laws.
- 41:15Speaker 2: I think you put that three to five days or
- 41:18Speaker 2: somewhere in that or definitely less than two weeks on
- 41:21Speaker 2: a put ouction. But just knowing that you can do
- 41:23Speaker 2: it right for years, I'm talking about years we had
- 41:26Speaker 2: no like a lot of us had no ideas what
- 41:28Speaker 2: options were even were, And so to know that to
- 41:31Speaker 2: know that you can make money either when the market
- 41:33Speaker 2: is going up or down is critically important, right, because
- 41:36Speaker 2: we're seeing it happen over the course of six months,
- 41:38Speaker 2: I mean since January, we've seen what happened, what's happened
- 41:41Speaker 2: to the nastac And now obviously that's and p's and
- 41:43Speaker 2: bed market, and most people are like, wait, they're just
- 41:45Speaker 2: watching the money deplete and deplete and deplete, not knowing
- 41:48Speaker 2: that there's an opportunity that you can actually make money
- 41:50Speaker 2: on the way down. So this is vially important information.
- 41:53Speaker 3: That's funny, absolutely sure.
- 41:55Speaker 4: So all right, so this is another part of the
- 41:58Speaker 4: EYO University experiences that we have question answer sessions. So
- 42:03Speaker 4: if you you know, obviously if you watch a podcast,
- 42:05Speaker 4: you're not going to be able.
- 42:06Speaker 5: To, you know, ask questions.
- 42:07Speaker 4: So the whole the whole model was kind of designed
- 42:13Speaker 4: after you know, education in a real school, and not
- 42:18Speaker 4: to say that, you know, universities are bad, but a
- 42:21Speaker 4: lot of the things that aren't in universities aren't useful
- 42:25Speaker 4: and they're over priced as well. So we're like, how
- 42:28Speaker 4: can we take the best experience from a university as
- 42:31Speaker 4: far as the community, as far as a professor coming in,
- 42:33Speaker 4: as far as a class, as far as being able
- 42:35Speaker 4: to ask questions, as far as being able to have
- 42:37Speaker 4: a customized learning style, like those are all good things
- 42:40Speaker 4: that are part of university. How can we take out
- 42:43Speaker 4: the bad part, which is like having to just do
- 42:46Speaker 4: electives on you know, Earth science and American studies and
- 42:50Speaker 4: art classes and how can we you know, not have
- 42:54Speaker 4: to charge seventy thousand dollars a year and have student
- 42:56Speaker 4: loans and things of that nature. So like I we can,
- 42:59Speaker 4: we can actually you know, scale it down and give
- 43:02Speaker 4: what people actually want and need and for a penny
- 43:07Speaker 4: of the price. So yeah, that's kind of the model
- 43:10Speaker 4: behind Eyo University. And once again we have great professors
- 43:14Speaker 4: like Chris who who teach, who teach classes and you
- 43:18Speaker 4: know has built his own community as well, which we'll
- 43:20Speaker 4: talk about.
- 43:21Speaker 5: That later on.
- 43:22Speaker 4: But yeah, so the second part of this is going
- 43:25Speaker 4: to be the the question and answer experience and you know,
- 43:30Speaker 4: get to ask questions and you know, get to answer it.
- 43:33Speaker 4: And then there's also a zoom chat going on too,
- 43:35Speaker 4: so a lot of times people actually answer questions for
- 43:38Speaker 4: other people in the zoom. That happens to my financial
- 43:41Speaker 4: planning class a lot, even if I don't know the
- 43:43Speaker 4: answer to a question somebody else might know the answer.
- 43:45Speaker 4: We just look it up on the spot and different
- 43:47Speaker 4: things of that nature. So it's a real it's a
- 43:49Speaker 4: real vibe. So we're gonna go to that. But if
- 43:52Speaker 4: you're interested in joining Eyo University, we are running fifty
- 43:54Speaker 4: percent off sales, so I put the link on the YouTube.
- 43:58Speaker 5: It's Eyo University dot com.

- 44:34Speaker 3: So fifteen two hundred are definitely known, you know across
- 44:36Speaker 3: hetch funds and stuff, but it's like the hedge funes
- 44:39Speaker 3: already know that. We know that fifteen to two hundred

- 47:04Speaker 3: I used the nine em A and twenty one em A.
- 47:06Speaker 3: And for those that are you know, part of uyol,
- 47:08Speaker 3: y'all know that we we print money with that n
- 47:12Speaker 3: twenty one A man. You can use it on any
- 47:13Speaker 3: time frame and it's called you know, just like the
- 47:16Speaker 3: fifteen two hundred. When it comes to crossover, you know,
- 47:18Speaker 3: when the nine am man crosses above the twenty one,
- 47:21Speaker 3: that is a golden cross. When the nine am A
- 47:23Speaker 3: crosses below that is a death cross. But the nineteen
- 47:26Speaker 3: twenty one twenty definitely or for scalpers, for day traders,
- 47:30Speaker 3: for spring traders, for long term positions. So it's definitely
- 47:33Speaker 3: the way to go.
- 47:34Speaker 2: Shout shout out to the earners of the chat. They
- 47:36Speaker 2: open one too. I hope you got that gym. All right,
- 47:39Speaker 2: let let's open this up a little bit. Ashley read,
- 47:42Speaker 2: we are coming to you. Unmute yourself. You have been unmuted.
- 47:45Speaker 2: What's going on? Ashley received cashier. Hello, Hey, I'm so
- 47:55Speaker 2: sorry sorry you guys.
- 47:56Speaker 7: I'm at work.
- 47:58Speaker 3: I definitely did not.
- 47:59Speaker 8: Think that I have take it through to ask a question.
- 48:03Speaker 8: I just want to say, thanks you guys for everything
- 48:05Speaker 8: that you all do, and thank you for trying to
- 48:08Speaker 8: educate the community and for giving back and for adding value.
- 48:12Speaker 7: To our lives.
- 48:13Speaker 8: I really do appreciate it.
- 48:15Speaker 5: Appreciate that, of course.
- 48:20Speaker 8: So my question is, Okay, so you know most of
- 48:25Speaker 8: the stocks now are going in a downward trend. We're
- 48:29Speaker 8: in a bear market. Do you think that it's a
- 48:33Speaker 8: good time to start loading the boat or this is
- 48:37Speaker 8: and this question is for anyone, or do you think
- 48:40Speaker 8: that I should like give it more time and let
- 48:44Speaker 8: certain things continue going down. So right now I have
- 48:49Speaker 8: about seven thousand dollars to invest, and I'm trying to
- 48:53Speaker 8: decide on if I should just go ahead and put
- 48:57Speaker 8: it in the stocks.
- 48:58Speaker 3: Now or wait a little bit longer. I got definitely
- 49:02Speaker 3: answer that. So I mean I would say start, you know,
- 49:05Speaker 3: start buying, startloading the boat. Right if you look at
- 49:07Speaker 3: the stocks that you that you would that you actually
- 49:09Speaker 3: believe in. Let say you're Microsoft, You're in video and
- 49:11Speaker 3: videos at a crazy discount right now. There's no reason
- 49:14Speaker 3: that if you like in video at three hundred. How
- 49:17Speaker 3: Troy says you should definitely like it at one sixties.
- 49:19Speaker 3: So I would say it's definitely the time to load
- 49:22Speaker 3: the boat. Yes, the you know, the stock market may
- 49:24Speaker 3: still going down, but if it's stocks that you know
- 49:26Speaker 3: are going to be here five to ten years from
- 49:28Speaker 3: now and you're thinking long term, there's I mean, I
- 49:32Speaker 3: don't think you should definitely, you know, hesitate when it
- 49:35Speaker 3: comes to buying these different stocks.
- 49:37Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 49:38Speaker 4: Yeah, I think you can also dolo cost average and
- 49:40Speaker 4: even if the stock goes down, you can dolar cost down. Well,
- 49:44Speaker 4: Like it's like let's say you put one thousand dollars
- 49:47Speaker 4: in even I mean, like let's take a stock like Amazon,
- 49:51Speaker 4: where it's I think it's like forty something percent off
- 49:54Speaker 4: of his all time high. So yeah, it could potentially
- 49:58Speaker 4: go to like fifty percent off of his all time high.
- 50:00Speaker 4: We'll go to sixty percent off. Maybe probably not, but
- 50:04Speaker 4: like if you're kind of runner, you don't, if you're
- 50:08Speaker 4: kind of nervous and say, okay, I don't want to
- 50:09Speaker 4: put everything in, then it drops down again. You can
- 50:12Speaker 4: always drop you can always buy more even at a
- 50:15Speaker 4: lower point, and the benefit with that is that you
- 50:18Speaker 4: you lower your your buying price. So now when the
- 50:23Speaker 4: stock goes up, you're actually you know, in a better position.
- 50:26Speaker 4: So that's always a strategy as well. But yeah, I mean,
- 50:28Speaker 4: you know, being at it's at the start of the
- 50:30Speaker 4: band market, I think you know, it'll probably be choppy.
- 50:32Speaker 5: For a while, but you know, it could always it
- 50:34Speaker 5: could also move sideways.
- 50:35Speaker 4: It doesn't necessarily mean it has to just continuously drop
- 50:39Speaker 4: as drastically as it has dropped. But yeah, I think
- 50:42Speaker 4: Chris brings up a good point. You got to look
- 50:43Speaker 4: at each stock on an individual basis. A stock like
- 50:47Speaker 4: Apples only down twenty percent, but you know a stock
- 50:50Speaker 4: like video is down fifty like that. Yeah, right now,
- 50:56Speaker 4: so you know that's that's different, right that that might
- 50:59Speaker 4: be a better then something that's only down fifteen percent
- 51:02Speaker 4: or something that's down eighteen percent that's kind of held
- 51:05Speaker 4: pretty strong, which has more downside potential. So it really
- 51:08Speaker 4: just depends because there's so many different stocks on the
- 51:10Speaker 4: stock market that it really just depends. But the deeper
- 51:14Speaker 4: that it went down, and of course if it has
- 51:15Speaker 4: to be a good company that you believe in, but
- 51:19Speaker 4: you know, the deeper the dis the deeper the discount,
- 51:23Speaker 4: the better.
- 51:24Speaker 2: The buy yeah, I was gonna say, and I see
- 51:26Speaker 2: some people put in the chat like scale in or
- 51:28Speaker 2: taper in, and that would kind of be like the
- 51:30Speaker 2: method for dollar col savaging. But we got to like
- 51:33Speaker 2: realize what good companies are, Like, it's Amazon a great company. Yeah,
- 51:37Speaker 2: it's Apple a great company. Yeah? Is in Video a
- 51:39Speaker 2: great company? Yeah? They're great companies. It's just that we're
- 51:41Speaker 2: in a bear market and so yeah, they're gonna trend down,
- 51:44Speaker 2: but there's still solid companies. You got to realize that
- 51:46Speaker 2: it's still a solid company. It's just at a discounted price.
- 51:49Speaker 2: And we shouldn't be panic trading or feeling and fear
- 51:52Speaker 2: because we've already seen I'm glad that Chris brought that
- 51:54Speaker 2: statistic up. Seventy eight percent of the time the market
- 51:57Speaker 2: moves in the upper trend seventy eight percent of the time.
- 52:00Speaker 2: It feels like this has been going on forever because
- 52:01Speaker 2: a lot of us have just gotten into investing, and
- 52:04Speaker 2: so it's like, wait, it doesn't go up every day,
- 52:07Speaker 2: Like this is what a pullback is. And so if
- 52:10Speaker 2: you're patient enough and you're in very very solid companies,
- 52:13Speaker 2: and I think that's one of those great shatages you
- 52:15Speaker 2: talked about Chris actually knowing the CEO, actually knowing what
- 52:18Speaker 2: the moat is. I know you talked about competitive advantage,
- 52:20Speaker 2: So knowing what the moat is they have a versus
- 52:22Speaker 2: everybody else in that sector. It's very important before you
- 52:24Speaker 2: make an investment, and so just realize that this is
- 52:27Speaker 2: a beer market, but nearly eighty percent of the time
- 52:31Speaker 2: the market trends in an upward manner. So keep that
- 52:33Speaker 2: in mind when you're making these investments. All you're thinking
- 52:36Speaker 2: about making it and you're feeling a kind of apprehensive
- 52:38Speaker 2: about doing it. Appreciate you, Ashley.
- 52:41Speaker 8: Yes, thanks you guys.
- 52:43Speaker 2: TJ. We're coming to you. I'm mute yourself. You've been unmuted.
- 52:45Speaker 2: What's going on? TJ? There you TJ? What's up?
- 52:48Speaker 3: What's up?
- 52:49Speaker 5: Try going on?
- 52:53Speaker 2: Chris? They been good? Brow you.
- 52:57Speaker 3: I'm good. I'm good.
- 52:58Speaker 2: Bless up, bless up.
- 53:01Speaker 3: Question Chris, did you get in that Nvidia one seven call?
- 53:06Speaker 2: I just spoke about it last night.
- 53:07Speaker 3: I did yep, iRED you feel about it? You still
- 53:11Speaker 3: got tom so so I so I did play earnings.
- 53:13Speaker 3: I did the one seventy call. I also got into
- 53:15Speaker 3: an in video trade today. I got like a forty
- 53:18Speaker 3: percent game. It was a quick scout, so I did
- 53:21Speaker 3: make money today. But I'm a little salty about the
- 53:23Speaker 3: Ernie's play, all right though. You know Ernie's play. One
- 53:26Speaker 3: thing about Ernie's play is definitely a gamble, Like when
- 53:28Speaker 3: you put money into Ernie's is money that you got
- 53:31Speaker 3: to be comfortable losing. So you know, I was ready
- 53:35Speaker 3: for it.
- 53:36Speaker 2: Yeah, I got into it too. I'm done, but it's
- 53:39Speaker 2: all good. Yeah, for those not in the note and
- 53:41Speaker 2: video had their earnings today and I'm looking at it
- 53:44Speaker 2: right now after hours they down another seven percent. So
- 53:49Speaker 2: obviously if you if you're scalping, which means you're you know,
- 53:52Speaker 2: you're in and out of these positions, obviously it's a downtread.
- 53:54Speaker 2: But this is why it's they're having the advantage of
- 53:57Speaker 2: time works in your benefit here, right, because yes, it's
- 54:01Speaker 2: a pullback, and obviously theself because did they report that
- 54:04Speaker 2: the guidance was kind of low going forward, Chris? Is
- 54:06Speaker 2: that what I said?
- 54:07Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, it was very very low. Honestly, they definitely
- 54:10Speaker 3: have bullish momentum throughout the day. I was a little
- 54:13Speaker 3: bit scared about that, the bullish momentum because you know,
- 54:16Speaker 3: Spy was definitely going down and they were definitely buying
- 54:18Speaker 3: it up. I just didn't think that it was going
- 54:20Speaker 3: to continue going down, right, But there was Bairey any
- 54:23Speaker 3: guidance when it comes to the Ernie's player. I just
- 54:25Speaker 3: feel that in video is such a strong stock that
- 54:27Speaker 3: maybe tomorrow go back to win seventy or one sixty five.
- 54:30Speaker 3: You know, it definitely has those days. And at the
- 54:32Speaker 3: end of the day, you got to think about this.
- 54:34Speaker 3: Market makers they want to bring it right right back
- 54:37Speaker 3: down to the one fifties, to buy it right back up.
- 54:39Speaker 3: So I think mar should definitely.
- 54:41Speaker 2: Be a very interesting That's one of those things that
- 54:43Speaker 2: people have to realize. The market market makers will pull
- 54:47Speaker 2: back the equity or the asset to a number that
- 54:51Speaker 2: they like, right so they can actually buy more. And
- 54:54Speaker 2: so I told you this is if this was like
- 54:56Speaker 2: finding Nemo, Like we're Nemo in this and there's whales
- 54:59Speaker 2: out there, right, or there's sharks out there that eating
- 55:01Speaker 2: off the things that the movement that they know that
- 55:03Speaker 2: we're going to participate in. So be very mindful of that. Welando, Welando,
- 55:10Speaker 2: we are coming to you. You are being unmuted. Unmute yourself.
- 55:14Speaker 2: Orlando what's going on? TJ. I appreciate you, thank you,
- 55:18Speaker 2: thank you.
- 55:18Speaker 5: How's it going?
- 55:19Speaker 2: Can you hear me? Yeah? We gave you this is crazy.
- 55:23Speaker 3: First of all, thank you for selecting me.
- 55:26Speaker 9: And I really appreciate all the work that y'all do.
- 55:28Speaker 9: I've leveled up so much my personal life and like
- 55:30Speaker 9: my whole view on the world has changed. So I
- 55:32Speaker 9: appreciate the fact that you guys are taking the.
- 55:34Speaker 3: Time and energy to do this.
- 55:37Speaker 9: So my question is this, what would and I asked
- 55:40Speaker 9: this in the zoom chat. What are the books audio
- 55:43Speaker 9: people that I should research on, read or know in
- 55:47Speaker 9: order to develop top level technical analysis for skill technical
- 55:51Speaker 9: analysis skills.
- 55:53Speaker 3: Yeah, so you can get the Charting and Technical Analysis
- 55:56Speaker 3: book by Things Frank McCallen Frank Allen. But this should
- 56:01Speaker 3: be your roadmap. This is the rolemap you need. I mean,
- 56:03Speaker 3: this is everything you need. You don't need no secret strategy,
- 56:07Speaker 3: no secret sauts. You need to be able to understand
- 56:10Speaker 3: market trends, how to actually plot supporting resistance. What are
- 56:15Speaker 3: the different candlestick patterns that actually matter? So, for example,
- 56:18Speaker 3: a hammer candle at a downtrend is going to be critical.
- 56:21Speaker 3: And I promise you that when we actually recover from
- 56:24Speaker 3: this beer market, you're probably gonna see either a hammer
- 56:27Speaker 3: candle or if not, a bullish and golfing format. You
- 56:29Speaker 3: need to understand truck patterns. What's a double top? Was
- 56:32Speaker 3: a beer flag? You know? Bullflag double bottom? How to
- 56:36Speaker 3: actually use trend lines every single day. Trend lines, out
- 56:39Speaker 3: of all the technical tools that we get out of
- 56:42Speaker 3: technical analysis, is definitely my favorite. And you could use
- 56:45Speaker 3: trend lines for scalping, for day trading, for swing trading,
- 56:48Speaker 3: for anything. And you also need to know the moving
- 56:51Speaker 3: average crossovers nine to twenty one is money that is
- 56:55Speaker 3: gold right there, that's definitely golden. Highly recommend you to
- 56:58Speaker 3: do it. You also need to understan and if you
- 57:00Speaker 3: want to be a day trader or a scalper, what
- 57:02Speaker 3: are the intra date strategies that suit you know your
- 57:06Speaker 3: personal needs. So for example, the ABCD pattern is go
- 57:10Speaker 3: the opening range breakout. It allows you to understand the trend.
- 57:14Speaker 3: The break and retest strategy is very very critical. And
- 57:17Speaker 3: then on top of that you can add some additional
- 57:19Speaker 3: layer of sauce and you can add the mcdee, the rside,
- 57:22Speaker 3: the stochastics, but price action is definitely what you gotta
- 57:26Speaker 3: take into account, but it will never click if you
- 57:29Speaker 3: don't do it. You can read all the books in
- 57:31Speaker 3: the world. You can read fIF you know, five thousand books.
- 57:34Speaker 3: If you don't sit down and actually write it down
- 57:37Speaker 3: and draw a double top, draw a beer flag, draw
- 57:39Speaker 3: a bull flag, it will never click. Why because you
- 57:42Speaker 3: need that muscle memory right and at the end of
- 57:44Speaker 3: the day, it will definitely take some time. It will
- 57:46Speaker 3: probably take anywhere from one year to two years for
- 57:49Speaker 3: you to get really good. I taken coll analysis, but
- 57:52Speaker 3: I definitely feel that this role my prayer here when
- 57:53Speaker 3: it comes to these different topics. You should be able
- 57:56Speaker 3: to look it up. Also part of Eyuniversity, we definitely
- 58:00Speaker 3: as well, So that will be my recommendation.
- 58:03Speaker 2: Yeah, Rolando, the fact that you are on the other side,
- 58:06Speaker 2: you're an earner. We actually had a book club about
- 58:10Speaker 2: charting and technical analysis, so that's our chive. We actually
- 58:13Speaker 2: did that in January, so you can actually go back
- 58:15Speaker 2: and watch every one of those book clubs about that book.
- 58:18Speaker 2: And I mean that this is like that'd be like
- 58:20Speaker 2: a crash course for you on top of it. Actually,
- 58:22Speaker 2: like I think the most important thing christ is saying
- 58:24Speaker 2: is like actually applying it, and so it's good for
- 58:26Speaker 2: us to say it and for you to watch it.
- 58:28Speaker 2: But when you're in the game, when you have a
- 58:30Speaker 2: leg in the game, it's a little bit different. Shout
- 58:33Speaker 2: out to you, appreciate you, bro Shout out to Angie said,
- 58:39Speaker 2: I should read the disclaimer in the market. Money is disclaiming.
- 58:43Speaker 2: Trading has considerable risk. Let's see who we got. Andrea,
- 58:48Speaker 2: were coming to you. We're coming to you, Andrea. I'm
- 58:51Speaker 2: meeting you. Unmute yourself. How are you doing? Good? Even happy?
- 58:54Speaker 2: Made twenty fifth? What's the deal? We have another fish bread? Now?
- 59:02Speaker 2: Andrew gonna do that to us? She got nervous. All right,
- 59:13Speaker 2: we're gonna go to I think this is a milli
- 59:19Speaker 2: a million. I'm coming to you. I'm yourself, ya, I'm you.
- 59:22Speaker 2: If I said it wrong, I apologize in advance. Did
- 59:24Speaker 2: I say it wrong?
- 59:25Speaker 10: Now you got it?
- 59:26Speaker 9: A million?
- 59:26Speaker 5: A million, A million, a million.
- 59:28Speaker 2: A perfect person. Going on?
- 59:30Speaker 9: What's going on with Pisces? Ah?
- 59:33Speaker 2: What day? What day? Man? February twenty fifth? Okay, February Pisces.
- 59:39Speaker 10: I'm right there by, y'all.
- 59:42Speaker 2: What's the deal, Professor Souci?
- 59:44Speaker 3: What's going on?
- 59:46Speaker 5: How you?
- 59:47Speaker 2: Oh?
- 59:47Speaker 3: Good? God, you forgot to.
- 59:49Speaker 9: Tell him about the nine and the v walk.
- 59:51Speaker 10: Come on, yeah, professional trading, that's professional trading.
- 59:56Speaker 3: Yeah it is, but they get that, you know, insidy
- 59:59Speaker 3: well university right crossover.
- 1:00:08Speaker 11: True.
- 1:00:09Speaker 10: So all right, I got a question because I understand
- 1:00:12Speaker 10: how important this is right now.
- 1:00:14Speaker 2: I do understand the importance of it. The thing is, my.
- 1:00:18Speaker 10: Funds are not right there right now where I could
- 1:00:21Speaker 10: do like a big like load of boat. So I'm
- 1:00:23Speaker 10: coming up with a creative plan and I want to
- 1:00:26Speaker 10: know what you think about it, and would you recommend it?
- 1:00:29Speaker 3: Is, should I take a loan.
- 1:00:31Speaker 10: Out to actually invest, even though I know interest rates
- 1:00:36Speaker 10: are high? I don't know how you feel about that, like, well,
- 1:00:40Speaker 10: we'll feedbacks.
- 1:00:42Speaker 4: I definitely would not suggest taking a loan to invest.
- 1:00:46Speaker 4: You always want to invest, especially trading money. You know,
- 1:00:50Speaker 4: investing has considerable risk. All investments run the risk of
- 1:00:54Speaker 4: you know, losing ainythinking happen. So yeah, you can potentially
- 1:01:00Speaker 4: use leverage, and you know, debt is leverage, but I just,
- 1:01:04Speaker 4: you know, think that that probably might not be the
- 1:01:07Speaker 4: most responsible way to go.
- 1:01:11Speaker 5: So that's that's just my opinion.
- 1:01:14Speaker 2: I listened to my financial advisor when she was like
- 1:01:17Speaker 2: that come up. I'm lucky that you're sitting to the
- 1:01:19Speaker 2: left for me. I'm very fortunate man. So yeah, I
- 1:01:24Speaker 2: would not I would not suggest.
- 1:01:26Speaker 3: That, all right, So I figured out another way.
- 1:01:30Speaker 9: No, I'm not huh.
- 1:01:34Speaker 4: Also, I'll say this, A lot of times people feel like, yo,
- 1:01:37Speaker 4: this is they There's always going to be opportunities. There's
- 1:01:40Speaker 4: always going to be bear markets. It might have to
- 1:01:43Speaker 4: it might not be next year, but there's always gonna
- 1:01:46Speaker 4: be opportunities. So even if you're not in a position
- 1:01:48Speaker 4: to really really go extremely hard like you want this time,
- 1:01:51Speaker 4: you know, you get a knowledge, you get the information,
- 1:01:54Speaker 4: and then you get the resources, and then the next
- 1:01:57Speaker 4: time around you're better prepared. So I know that's something
- 1:02:00Speaker 4: it's like fomo, right, fire of missing out when people
- 1:02:03Speaker 4: feel like this is this is the opportunity, this is
- 1:02:05Speaker 4: this is it, this is it.
- 1:02:06Speaker 5: But there's always going to be opportunities. It's not going
- 1:02:09Speaker 5: to be the last opportunity.
- 1:02:10Speaker 4: So yeah, I would say focus more on, you know,
- 1:02:14Speaker 4: if you want to start a business or get a
- 1:02:15Speaker 4: side hustle, or just find ways to just generate more income.
- 1:02:20Speaker 4: That way, when the next opportunity comes, you'll have you'll
- 1:02:23Speaker 4: have more disposable money that you can put at it.
- 1:02:26Speaker 2: Okay, I take that, take this, Yeah, I appreciate you.
- 1:02:33Speaker 2: All right, love bro. All right, seeing we are coming
- 1:02:36Speaker 2: to you, I mute yourself. You have been immuted city.
- 1:02:39Speaker 2: What's going on? Yes?
- 1:02:40Speaker 12: Hi, I have a quick question. So I was day
- 1:02:43Speaker 12: trading and also doing a little scalping, but I got
- 1:02:46Speaker 12: discouraged because I lost like ten thousand dollars, so my
- 1:02:49Speaker 12: account went down. But I think my problem was I
- 1:02:52Speaker 12: was actually using the Think or Swim platform. But I
- 1:02:57Speaker 12: know that some people use active Traders, So I was
- 1:03:00Speaker 12: gonna ask Chris, what do you use when you're scalping?
- 1:03:02Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 1:03:03Speaker 3: So actually, yeah, active trader is actually pretty good on
- 1:03:05Speaker 3: on on think or Swim. Uh, the fills are okay
- 1:03:09Speaker 3: when it comes to Think or Swim, they've been buggy
- 1:03:11Speaker 3: the last two years.
- 1:03:13Speaker 6: Uh.
- 1:03:13Speaker 3: If you're using an active trader and you set it up,
- 1:03:15Speaker 3: actually I'll put a link in the chat so you
- 1:03:17Speaker 3: can actually have it with with active trader, you should
- 1:03:20Speaker 3: be in and out in less than two seconds.
- 1:03:22Speaker 9: Now.
- 1:03:22Speaker 12: So what else is there out there apart from active Traders?
- 1:03:25Speaker 12: Is there something else?
- 1:03:26Speaker 3: Yeah? Yeah, there is if you want to take it
- 1:03:28Speaker 3: up a Notch. You could definitely create an account with
- 1:03:30Speaker 3: Interactive Brokers. Interactive Brokers is a very professional platform. That's
- 1:03:34Speaker 3: where all the big scalpers definitely go in and they
- 1:03:37Speaker 3: trade at And on top of that, I would highly
- 1:03:40Speaker 3: recommend the stream deck. So stream deck is another device
- 1:03:43Speaker 3: that you attached to your PC via USB and that
- 1:03:47Speaker 3: one with one button, you're instantly out. And in my opinion,
- 1:03:51Speaker 3: Interactive Brokers they have the best fills out of all
- 1:03:54Speaker 3: the platforms.
- 1:03:55Speaker 12: How do I guess on the stream deck?
- 1:03:57Speaker 2: What is so? Yep?
- 1:03:59Speaker 3: So the stream deck is on Amazon. You want to
- 1:04:01Speaker 3: get the Elgado stream Deck?
- 1:04:05Speaker 12: Got it?
- 1:04:05Speaker 9: Yep?
- 1:04:06Speaker 12: And is that different from the Interactive Brokers.
- 1:04:08Speaker 3: So that one actually integrates with Interactive Brokers because you
- 1:04:12Speaker 3: can actually set up hockeys with stream Deck and Interactive
- 1:04:15Speaker 3: Brokers where you buy something, you know, let's say you
- 1:04:17Speaker 3: buy ten contracts, you sell ten contracts and your in
- 1:04:20Speaker 3: and out in less than a second.
- 1:04:22Speaker 12: Okay, thank you yep.
- 1:04:24Speaker 3: And just to add some more confidence of why Interactive
- 1:04:26Speaker 3: Brokers is better than TD is because they actually work
- 1:04:29Speaker 3: with more exchanges than what TD Emergency works with. So
- 1:04:32Speaker 3: I definitely recommend them if you really want to become professional,
- 1:04:35Speaker 3: and especially as a as a scalper, every second counts, right,
- 1:04:39Speaker 3: so every bit of money definitely counts, And that's the
- 1:04:41Speaker 3: one that I definitely recommend Chris.
- 1:04:43Speaker 2: Real quick for the people that are listening, especially on
- 1:04:44Speaker 2: a tube. I know some of the EYL University earners,
- 1:04:47Speaker 2: they're familiar with the terms. But can you just tell
- 1:04:49Speaker 2: the difference between a scalper, day trader and a swing trader.
- 1:04:52Speaker 3: Yep, So a scalper somebody that's in a trade for
- 1:04:55Speaker 3: less than eight minutes. Me I go in heavy ten
- 1:04:58Speaker 3: twenty forty k into a train and I'm out in
- 1:05:01Speaker 3: less than five minutes. A day trader is somebody who
- 1:05:04Speaker 3: opens up a position, let's say at ten o'clock, and
- 1:05:07Speaker 3: they may close that position at two pm. So a
- 1:05:10Speaker 3: day trader they open and close a position within the
- 1:05:14Speaker 3: same day. A swing trader is somebody that holds a
- 1:05:18Speaker 3: position overnight. Maybe overnight or if not a couple of weeks,
- 1:05:21Speaker 3: or if not a couple months, or if not a
- 1:05:22Speaker 3: couple of years. That's a difference between the three different
- 1:05:25Speaker 3: type of traders.
- 1:05:25Speaker 2: Perfect, perfect, Javonte. We are coming to you. Mute yourself.
- 1:05:29Speaker 2: You have been unmuted. You're talking is permitted. What's going on, Javonte?
- 1:05:37Speaker 2: How you doing that?
- 1:05:40Speaker 5: What's up? What's up?
- 1:05:41Speaker 2: What's going on? Man? Mister?
- 1:05:46Speaker 3: My question is to you, Troy. You shout it out
- 1:05:48Speaker 3: your portfolio on market Monday or something. I can't remember
- 1:05:54Speaker 3: what week it was, but on healthcare stocks, are you
- 1:05:58Speaker 3: looking at healthcare?
- 1:06:00Speaker 9: Yeah?
- 1:06:01Speaker 2: The only the only stock that I had, and I
- 1:06:04Speaker 2: guess within the healthcare industry was Striker, just because I've
- 1:06:08Speaker 2: had personal conversations with Ian about Striker, so I haven't
- 1:06:13Speaker 2: I have it on my watch list to invest in.
- 1:06:15Speaker 2: I just want to pick the right point. That's the
- 1:06:17Speaker 2: only one that I'm looking at right now. Okay, okay, okay,
- 1:06:21Speaker 2: we're on the same type of vibe. Good Man, good Man,
- 1:06:27Speaker 2: I have a good night. Man. I appreciate you.
- 1:06:30Speaker 3: Just one comment there. When it comes to if you
- 1:06:32Speaker 3: want to look into new stocks that are going to
- 1:06:34Speaker 3: be primed for the next five ten years, highly recommend
- 1:06:36Speaker 3: to look at software. Cybersecurity is definitely hot, and cybersecurity
- 1:06:41Speaker 3: more than ever is important right now. So Palo Alto
- 1:06:44Speaker 3: CrowdStrike is definitely hot right now. So I'll also look
- 1:06:47Speaker 3: at companies that shut you know that definitely do AI
- 1:06:49Speaker 3: as well.
- 1:06:50Speaker 2: So, Chris, I was I thought you was gonna give
- 1:06:52Speaker 2: them the top three. We actually spoke about my top three,
- 1:06:54Speaker 2: I think maybe two weeks ago. So Alto was definitely
- 1:06:57Speaker 2: one of them, CrowdStrike was the other, and z Scaler
- 1:06:59Speaker 2: was my yep, yep, yep, you agree, yep, yeah, yeah,
- 1:07:03Speaker 2: yeah for sure. All right, Well, we are coming to you.
- 1:07:06Speaker 2: Hold on, he can't well, they said you gotta update
- 1:07:11Speaker 2: your zoom. I'm sorry. My brother Zoom has told me
- 1:07:14Speaker 2: you gotta get an updated version from my apologies. Well,
- 1:07:17Speaker 2: a mayor, we are coming to you on mute yourself.
- 1:07:20Speaker 2: You've been unmuted. What's going on?
- 1:07:23Speaker 3: Yeah, hello, we hear you. What up though?
- 1:07:29Speaker 5: Detroit?
- 1:07:30Speaker 2: What up?
- 1:07:31Speaker 3: Detroit? Yeah, Detroit, Detroit?
- 1:07:34Speaker 2: You know you know. Also, I got a.
- 1:07:38Speaker 13: Quick question, So, Troy, I believe it was last this Monday,
- 1:07:42Speaker 13: past Monday, you were talking about going to Yahoo Finance.
- 1:07:45Speaker 2: And looking at the statistics.
- 1:07:47Speaker 13: Yo, the one stock in my porfolio that's bled down
- 1:07:50Speaker 13: the most is a Square. And as I'm looking at
- 1:07:53Speaker 13: their statistics, their revenue is down.
- 1:07:58Speaker 2: Well, let me I read it right now.
- 1:08:00Speaker 13: Yeah, it says, yeah, They're quarterly revenue is at negative
- 1:08:05Speaker 13: twenty one. The mark profitability margin is at negative point
- 1:08:09Speaker 13: forty six and I forgot and their net income is
- 1:08:14Speaker 13: negative seventy six point ninety two million. And this is
- 1:08:17Speaker 13: the one that's bled down the most and profolio at
- 1:08:20Speaker 13: all the stocks I have. Is it a time for
- 1:08:22Speaker 13: me to, you know, just cut the loss that I've
- 1:08:25Speaker 13: let it go down.
- 1:08:25Speaker 3: Like sixty percent? Or should I still hold it for
- 1:08:28Speaker 3: the long term?
- 1:08:30Speaker 2: You have stopped in it?
- 1:08:32Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 1:08:32Speaker 2: Start Yeah, Like we've said this before. I think we
- 1:08:36Speaker 2: covered this last week as far as Square the whole
- 1:08:38Speaker 2: industry right that the whole industry has taken a hit
- 1:08:42Speaker 2: when we talk about fintech. Do I believe in Square still? Yeah?
- 1:08:46Speaker 2: Do I like it at the price? I mean almost
- 1:08:49Speaker 2: we have lost no choice at this point to like
- 1:08:50Speaker 2: it at the price that is sat. Do we believe
- 1:08:52Speaker 2: it in long term? I do? I still like it
- 1:08:57Speaker 2: from payment processing. I think they have viability to be
- 1:09:02Speaker 2: around for a while as one of the top two
- 1:09:04Speaker 2: in that space. But yeah, we've taken a hit, So
- 1:09:08Speaker 2: I'm holding on. I'm with you on that. I've lost
- 1:09:10Speaker 2: money on that. I've averaged down probably more than twice already,
- 1:09:16Speaker 2: so I'm not willing to do anything more than that.
- 1:09:18Speaker 2: But you know, I'm holding on.
- 1:09:21Speaker 13: Yeah, I think my average pricingding right now is like
- 1:09:24Speaker 13: one eighty I believe you know when it was up
- 1:09:27Speaker 13: in the two seventies, I was, but now it's like hey.
- 1:09:31Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, square is one of those yeah square.
- 1:09:36Speaker 5: Square.
- 1:09:39Speaker 2: So I'm with you, bro, I'm with you on this.
- 1:09:41Speaker 2: But yeah, you know, my mom, if you watch market Monday,
- 1:09:44Speaker 2: is it Obviously if you've been at y L University,
- 1:09:46Speaker 2: you know the market pays those of a patient. And
- 1:09:48Speaker 2: so I'm gonna I'm gonna be patient. I'm gonna lean
- 1:09:51Speaker 2: on the side of patients, all right. Appreciate man.
- 1:09:57Speaker 13: I'm gonna tell I'm gonna try to hold on a
- 1:09:59Speaker 13: bit longer than man.
- 1:10:01Speaker 2: When we when we, when we, when we pull up
- 1:10:03Speaker 2: on the trail, you got to pull up on me, man. Yeah,
- 1:10:07Speaker 2: we'll have a drink together and talk about how far
- 1:10:08Speaker 2: we come. Appreciate you, broh Jay j Moe. We're coming
- 1:10:16Speaker 2: to you. I'm mute yourself. You've been unmuted. What's going on? Peace? Peace? Family?
- 1:10:20Speaker 2: What's going on? Everything?
- 1:10:22Speaker 10: Good?
- 1:10:22Speaker 2: How are you? I'm good man.
- 1:10:25Speaker 11: I have a question for all of the newbies, that is,
- 1:10:30Speaker 11: you know, trying to do the options trading. I've been
- 1:10:34Speaker 11: you know, looking at this for a while. When you
- 1:10:37Speaker 11: talk about getting into the strike price when and taking
- 1:10:41Speaker 11: profits and stuff like that, how do you actually get
- 1:10:44Speaker 11: out of the trade?
- 1:10:47Speaker 2: Does that make sense? Out?
- 1:10:49Speaker 9: Like?
- 1:10:49Speaker 5: How do you sell? Yeah?
- 1:10:51Speaker 11: Like like I guess, you know, say if the if
- 1:10:54Speaker 11: I get in at strike and I guess it and
- 1:11:01Speaker 11: it looks like it's going to close because of course
- 1:11:03Speaker 11: if you get the options contracts out three weeks, uh
- 1:11:09Speaker 11: out right? And then how because I'm trying to understand
- 1:11:13Speaker 11: how it works to where of course you're working against
- 1:11:16Speaker 11: the data, you're working against the time, but you're also
- 1:11:19Speaker 11: trying to uh.
- 1:11:22Speaker 2: With the stock price goal try to stay the same.
- 1:11:28Speaker 2: So are you going to make it? Are you making
- 1:11:29Speaker 2: a call or a put? Either one? So how do
- 1:11:33Speaker 2: you got Well? I mean, when you want to get out,
- 1:11:36Speaker 2: you're going to go to the actual option contract that
- 1:11:40Speaker 2: you have. They're going to ask you if you you
- 1:11:43Speaker 2: can choose the option you can sell and they'll tell
- 1:11:45Speaker 2: you to ask you how much and it will ask
- 1:11:47Speaker 2: you like sell the clothes, sell the open I would
- 1:11:49Speaker 2: obviously put sell the clothes and pretty and you just
- 1:11:51Speaker 2: click that button. If you're in profit you click the
- 1:11:53Speaker 2: button and it should happen instantaneously. The only time it
- 1:11:59Speaker 2: doesn't is like when we see things like how the
- 1:12:01Speaker 2: game stop situation. And that's some people need to understand.
- 1:12:03Speaker 2: When you're buying option contracts, when you're buying them, right,
- 1:12:07Speaker 2: you're buying them from someone right, and when you're selling them, somebody,
- 1:12:11Speaker 2: the brokerage has to buy it, and so it has
- 1:12:12Speaker 2: to make sense. And so like when we saw a
- 1:12:15Speaker 2: GameStop when people are up thirty forty thousand dollars and
- 1:12:17Speaker 2: they couldn't sell it, it's because the brokerage could not
- 1:12:20Speaker 2: fulfill that many contracts being sold for that amount. And
- 1:12:24Speaker 2: so yeah, I mean it's it's pretty like like a
- 1:12:27Speaker 2: one to two step sell the clothes, click it, make
- 1:12:30Speaker 2: sure that you put it at the market, because when
- 1:12:33Speaker 2: you're selling, you want to have it at the market.
- 1:12:34Speaker 2: When you're buying, always suggests people put the limit and
- 1:12:37Speaker 2: tell that's the price you want to buy it, buy it.
- 1:12:39Speaker 11: But yeah, yeah, okay, okay, Because I was like, because
- 1:12:44Speaker 11: I remember like a couple of days ago, I think
- 1:12:46Speaker 11: when sea I was talking about how he got.
- 1:12:50Speaker 2: Out of his Apple options.
- 1:12:53Speaker 11: And I was one I was like, how does he
- 1:12:55Speaker 11: know how to do that, you know, like how to
- 1:12:57Speaker 11: I guess when the price off to drop, you're able
- 1:13:00Speaker 11: to see that it's not going to hit its target,
- 1:13:03Speaker 11: but you're already in a certain amount of profit, and
- 1:13:07Speaker 11: you could just say, Okay, I'm going to close out
- 1:13:08Speaker 11: right here.
- 1:13:09Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:13:09Speaker 4: I mean, it's whatever your risk tolerance is. And it's
- 1:13:12Speaker 4: like there's really no set like rule of like this
- 1:13:15Speaker 4: is when you have to sell. It's like, you know,
- 1:13:18Speaker 4: just the reason why I sold a lot of my
- 1:13:20Speaker 4: options about a month and a half ago is just
- 1:13:23Speaker 4: I just had a strong feeling that, you know, we
- 1:13:26Speaker 4: were headed in a downward cycle and I didn't want
- 1:13:29Speaker 4: to lose money. I mean, I was up, I had
- 1:13:33Speaker 4: already lost some money from what I was up previously,
- 1:13:36Speaker 4: and I just made a calculated decision that I felt
- 1:13:39Speaker 4: the market was headed south. And luckily I did do
- 1:13:44Speaker 4: that because it saved me a lot of money. Yeah,
- 1:13:47Speaker 4: but you know, it's one of these things where it's like,
- 1:13:49Speaker 4: you know, you could be up twenty percent, you could
- 1:13:50Speaker 4: be up fifty percent, you could be up one hundred percent.
- 1:13:53Speaker 4: So it really just depends on what you feel comfortable
- 1:13:56Speaker 4: walking away with. As Chris said, you can never lose
- 1:13:59Speaker 4: by taking profit, and you can't be greedy. Sometimes we
- 1:14:03Speaker 4: get greedy and we're up like thirty percent. We're like,
- 1:14:05Speaker 4: all right, if I let it ride, I can be
- 1:14:06Speaker 4: up one hundred percent. Then you go up one hundred
- 1:14:08Speaker 4: percent like a r. If I let it ride, I
- 1:14:09Speaker 4: can go up a thousand percent. But yeah, you can
- 1:14:12Speaker 4: lose money very quickly in option. So you could be
- 1:14:14Speaker 4: up eighty percent one day and then a week later
- 1:14:17Speaker 4: you down twenty percent.
- 1:14:18Speaker 11: So you know that's more so what I was looking for,
- 1:14:22Speaker 11: like that answer. Yeah, okay, I get it now, okay, yeah, yeah, okay,
- 1:14:27Speaker 11: I appreciate it. Other question, one more question is what's
- 1:14:30Speaker 11: going on with the chips? Y'all your wraps next coming out? Well, flavors,
- 1:14:37Speaker 11: we're getting flavors chips.
- 1:14:39Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm looking at the raps next right now.
- 1:14:42Speaker 5: It was good.
- 1:14:44Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah, we're talking to some people, some very important people.
- 1:14:48Speaker 2: So hopefully those are hit the streets and then we'll
- 1:14:49Speaker 2: put them inside out of in the machines as well.
- 1:14:51Speaker 5: So very important.
- 1:14:53Speaker 2: Then it's on top of business. Appreciate you, very important,
- 1:14:56Speaker 2: No problem. Thanks. More questions, Yeah, I think somebody in
- 1:14:59Speaker 2: the chair asks why do I put the limit when
- 1:15:02Speaker 2: I'm buying, and we kind of explained it like this.
- 1:15:04Speaker 2: If you think of options as a car dealership, right,
- 1:15:07Speaker 2: the ask price is what the sticker price is on
- 1:15:10Speaker 2: the car. When you go into the dealership. You don't
- 1:15:12Speaker 2: want to pay the sticker price. You want to pay
- 1:15:13Speaker 2: the price that you've walked in saying like this is
- 1:15:15Speaker 2: how much I'm going to pay for this car. And
- 1:15:17Speaker 2: so that's what the limit price is. You set the
- 1:15:19Speaker 2: limit at what you're willing to pay for this option contract.
- 1:15:23Speaker 2: And so sometimes it feels but you got to be patient.
- 1:15:25Speaker 2: Sometimes it doesn't. But you got to be patient enough
- 1:15:27Speaker 2: to say, you know what, this is my plan. This
- 1:15:30Speaker 2: is my number. I'm not budging off this number. So
- 1:15:33Speaker 2: keep those things in mind. And then when you're selling it,
- 1:15:35Speaker 2: obviously you want to put the market price. It's going
- 1:15:37Speaker 2: to be the highest price available.
- 1:15:39Speaker 5: Yeah, taking a profit is better and taking a loss.
- 1:15:43Speaker 2: I've seen it happen. I've been up one hundred and
- 1:15:47Speaker 2: down ninety seven. It happens. Taking a profit is better
- 1:15:50Speaker 2: than We don't all win every trade. All right, let's
- 1:15:54Speaker 2: go to Kevin. Kevin. We come to you, Kevin Henry,
- 1:15:59Speaker 2: what's going on. I'm mute yourself. You've been unmuted. There
- 1:16:03Speaker 2: are no fridge breaks. Y'all know the rules and I
- 1:16:05Speaker 2: haven't said guidelines, but gotlines. How y'all doing everybody good?
- 1:16:10Speaker 2: How you doing my first time? You know, tappaningine.
- 1:16:14Speaker 13: But I had a cursion for Chris about the strange
- 1:16:17Speaker 13: day I would want to do it matter about the buttons.
- 1:16:20Speaker 13: I seen one for six buttons, sixteen button, twenty one button.
- 1:16:25Speaker 3: I think with six buns should definitely be okay. At
- 1:16:27Speaker 3: the end of the day, it's all about your how
- 1:16:29Speaker 3: much like how many contracts you actually buy? So me,
- 1:16:31Speaker 3: I buy ten to fifty contracts at a time, so
- 1:16:34Speaker 3: I set it based off those parameters. If you don't
- 1:16:37Speaker 3: trade heavy like that, and you don't have like a
- 1:16:42Speaker 3: very you know, entry and excess strategy, then I would
- 1:16:44Speaker 3: say just get the six button. That should definitely suffice
- 1:16:48Speaker 3: you're trading all right? Thank you, thank you anything.
- 1:16:51Speaker 2: Where where you're from, man, I'm from mim I'm from Hannesbury, Mississippi.
- 1:16:55Speaker 2: But I'm living in mything right now. I love that
- 1:17:00Speaker 2: outside New all hundred mile outside you have it deep
- 1:17:04Speaker 2: in the South.
- 1:17:05Speaker 3: Yeah, appreciate it. Man.
- 1:17:09Speaker 2: Hey, I'm gonna see y'all that events this year too.
- 1:17:12Speaker 2: I'm told my wife I'm coming all were going up.
- 1:17:14Speaker 2: I'm looking, cav I'm looking for you. We're going way up. Man,
- 1:17:17Speaker 2: I'm gonna make sure you found you see me too,
- 1:17:20Speaker 2: were going way up. I can oh, don't don't please,
- 1:17:25Speaker 2: don't appreciate you. Thank you.
- 1:17:28Speaker 4: Appreciate it. Brother, that's fast. Get your tickets. It's gonna
- 1:17:31Speaker 4: be a move v V. I'm telling you right now,
- 1:17:36Speaker 4: movie and a half.
- 1:17:39Speaker 2: How we feeling? We feeling good? Christy feeling got over there,
- 1:17:42Speaker 2: feeling great. Let's get it all right. Let's go to Janelle. Jane.
- 1:17:45Speaker 2: We are coming to you? Or is it Janelle? I
- 1:17:47Speaker 2: think so? If I got that wrong, I apologize. You know,
- 1:17:51Speaker 2: I'm yourself. You've been unmuted. Would you go? There?
- 1:17:55Speaker 11: You go?
- 1:18:00Speaker 2: They had it for me, They said, I didn't know
- 1:18:02Speaker 2: he's gonna call on me. Hey, can you hear me?
- 1:18:06Speaker 9: Oh?
- 1:18:06Speaker 2: Joe, what's going on you? Finally? Yeah? What's going on? Joe?
- 1:18:10Speaker 5: Not much?
- 1:18:11Speaker 14: Actually I didn't know you picked on me, to be honest,
- 1:18:14Speaker 14: because I heard a different Joe name.
- 1:18:15Speaker 2: But it's all good, Joe, Joe. Ay, what's the deal man?
- 1:18:20Speaker 5: Much? Nothing? Much?
- 1:18:21Speaker 14: I was actually just I'm Chris, I met you a
- 1:18:22Speaker 14: few times.
- 1:18:23Speaker 2: I met you in Miami.
- 1:18:25Speaker 3: Good to see you.
- 1:18:25Speaker 14: I'm glad all was like and good to finally get
- 1:18:29Speaker 14: in contact with the main stairs from Eyl troyan rastadt
- 1:18:34Speaker 14: so blessings and love to y'all. I'll get right to
- 1:18:37Speaker 14: the question though, I just want to know for Chris,
- 1:18:41Speaker 14: I know you were like always big on crypto.
- 1:18:43Speaker 3: That was some of the advice you provided. You were like, hey,
- 1:18:45Speaker 3: you know, cryptos doing his thing.
- 1:18:47Speaker 14: But since you know the recent little mishaps, is there
- 1:18:49Speaker 14: any like redirection you have towards like your interest, any
- 1:18:53Speaker 14: new interest placed on certain cryptos or are you now
- 1:18:57Speaker 14: disinterested in certain cryptos things of that nature.
- 1:18:59Speaker 3: You definitely want to keep investing in bigcoin. Bitcoin is
- 1:19:02Speaker 3: like the head honcho when it comes to cryptos. I'm
- 1:19:04Speaker 3: big on Solana. I mean, it's not a secret that
- 1:19:09Speaker 3: the banks black rocks these different hetchphones. They are definitely
- 1:19:12Speaker 3: buying it up. Algrand is definitely one of my favorites.
- 1:19:15Speaker 3: Polka Dot is another one of my favorites, and one
- 1:19:17Speaker 3: that people never talk about is chain Link. I'm heavy
- 1:19:20Speaker 3: in chain Link is actually adopted by Oracle Oracle is
- 1:19:24Speaker 3: a big enterprise out there, and those are the ones
- 1:19:26Speaker 3: that I'm definitely investing in and I will definitely continue
- 1:19:28Speaker 3: investing in those as well.
- 1:19:32Speaker 2: Gotcha, I appreciate that.
- 1:19:34Speaker 15: And then just briefly a request for Troy and Rashad
- 1:19:38Speaker 15: in the future, can we get a little education like
- 1:19:40Speaker 15: regarding like setting aside money towards taxes when you're doing
- 1:19:44Speaker 15: a day trade, because day trading as a semi profession,
- 1:19:47Speaker 15: because I don't know if I've heard too much information
- 1:19:50Speaker 15: about that.
- 1:19:50Speaker 2: And I think that's pretty important for us to learn.
- 1:19:52Speaker 2: If anything, yeah, we'll do, we'll do. Actually our CPA,
- 1:19:56Speaker 2: miss Business shout to his business. She's our CPA. She
- 1:19:59Speaker 2: was getting on me about about some of the exercising
- 1:20:05Speaker 2: some of the contracts that I had at the end
- 1:20:06Speaker 2: of the year. So that's important too. I think people
- 1:20:09Speaker 2: need to put that into the investment strategy. Understanding if
- 1:20:12Speaker 2: you're going to be a day trader, if you're gonna
- 1:20:13Speaker 2: be a swing trader, that every trade that you make,
- 1:20:16Speaker 2: if it's in profit, it will be taxed. That it's
- 1:20:18Speaker 2: going to be short term capital games taxed. So make
- 1:20:21Speaker 2: sure that you put that into your plans. If you're
- 1:20:24Speaker 2: going to be taking that method of trading.
- 1:20:27Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:20:27Speaker 2: Also, also speaking of crypto, there was a I don't
- 1:20:31Speaker 2: know everybody saw it, but you know it was in
- 1:20:33Speaker 2: business inside earlier JP Morgan. It has backbitcoin to rise
- 1:20:37Speaker 2: twenty eight percent and says that cryptocurrencies are now it's
- 1:20:41Speaker 2: preferred alternative asset.
- 1:20:44Speaker 4: Might have things changed, says a lot about the times
- 1:20:49Speaker 4: that were, but yeah, I mean cryptocurrency is something that
- 1:20:54Speaker 4: you know, a lot of people are new to crypto,
- 1:20:57Speaker 4: but this is pretty common these markets and crypto. It's
- 1:21:01Speaker 4: a lot more volatile than the stock market, and it's
- 1:21:04Speaker 4: actually less volatile than the last time. When I first
- 1:21:07Speaker 4: got in crypto, bitcoin had reached twenty thousand and then
- 1:21:12Speaker 4: it dropped down to three as low as three thousand,
- 1:21:15Speaker 4: So you know, the drop this time is bad, but
- 1:21:19Speaker 4: it's nowhere near as bad as the drop last time.
- 1:21:22Speaker 4: So if you in cryptocurrency, just understand that it's a
- 1:21:25Speaker 4: long term play. Of course, you want to invest in
- 1:21:28Speaker 4: the top cryptocurrencies, but you got to have the stomach
- 1:21:32Speaker 4: for it, and you always want to buy low and
- 1:21:36Speaker 4: sell high. So this is actually probably a buying opportunity
- 1:21:40Speaker 4: when crypto currencies drop. Yeah, not all not all cryptos,
- 1:21:44Speaker 4: because some cryptos is just not worth anything, but the
- 1:21:47Speaker 4: strong ones. This might be an opportunity where you can
- 1:21:50Speaker 4: actually you know, invest and then ride the next wave,
- 1:21:53Speaker 4: because there will be a next wave, you know. Like
- 1:21:56Speaker 4: I said, Bitcoin just got backed by JP Morgan Chase.
- 1:21:59Speaker 5: So what does that tell you?
- 1:22:01Speaker 3: Yeah, and just one one more thing. One thing that
- 1:22:03Speaker 3: Sigmon just mentioned in the chat is that it's all
- 1:22:05Speaker 3: about the use case. What's the use case behind that token?
- 1:22:09Speaker 3: If it doesn't have a use case, you shouldn't be
- 1:22:11Speaker 3: investing in it. The white papers is where the gold
- 1:22:14Speaker 3: is at. You should definitely read the white paper, you know,
- 1:22:17Speaker 3: before you actually invest into any crypto coin. So get
- 1:22:20Speaker 3: the use case, understand it. How can businesses and enterprises
- 1:22:24Speaker 3: actually adopted and of course you know, read the white
- 1:22:27Speaker 3: papers and invest in it, right, Actually, you know, go
- 1:22:30Speaker 3: to the conferences, you know, go to the webinars that
- 1:22:32Speaker 3: they definitely hold, just to better understand exactly how that
- 1:22:35Speaker 3: token will be used across the blockchain as well.
- 1:22:41Speaker 5: All right, let's get one more question if we can
- 1:22:43Speaker 5: before we are Oh so.
- 1:22:44Speaker 2: People just ask the white so Joe said, the white paper.
- 1:22:46Speaker 2: So the white papers, like even if you go to
- 1:22:48Speaker 2: like Yahoo Finance, any brokers that that has stocks on it,
- 1:22:53Speaker 2: it'll tell you about the information about the company. And
- 1:22:55Speaker 2: so the white paper in the crypto space is the
- 1:22:58Speaker 2: information about the company. So we're talking use case, that's
- 1:23:01Speaker 2: where you're gonna find it. When you talk about its
- 1:23:03Speaker 2: inception and the founders, that's where you find it. It's
- 1:23:05Speaker 2: inside the white papers. And so, like I remember on
- 1:23:07Speaker 2: crypto pro, which is an app that you can use
- 1:23:10Speaker 2: to track cryptocurrencies. If you when you click on information,
- 1:23:14Speaker 2: it'll take you through obviously the name, how many coins
- 1:23:17Speaker 2: circulate and supply, and will say white papers. So if
- 1:23:19Speaker 2: you click on that, it'll give you all the information
- 1:23:22Speaker 2: about the coins, a lot of them. If you don't
- 1:23:25Speaker 2: understand it, you shouldn't invest, right. If you don't understand it,
- 1:23:28Speaker 2: If the use case doesn't make sense, I don't care.
- 1:23:30Speaker 2: If somebody's like, oh this is the next thing, this
- 1:23:32Speaker 2: is the next doge, you shouldn't invest. Make sure that
- 1:23:34Speaker 2: you understand the use case, make sure you understand the
- 1:23:36Speaker 2: functionality before you do. Those are the white papers.
- 1:23:39Speaker 4: Never invest anything that you don't understand, and never invest
- 1:23:42Speaker 4: money that you can't afford to lose, and never invest
- 1:23:45Speaker 4: money that you need. Don't invest your rent money, don't
- 1:23:49Speaker 4: invest your mortgage money, don't invest you know, your kids,
- 1:23:52Speaker 4: lifelong savings and crypto.
- 1:23:56Speaker 5: Be be smart, Be smart, please, Nancy, what's going on?
- 1:24:01Speaker 2: You already immuted yourself? How you doing? Hey guys, I'm
- 1:24:04Speaker 2: doing all right.
- 1:24:04Speaker 5: How are you sound?
- 1:24:06Speaker 2: Great?
- 1:24:06Speaker 5: Good?
- 1:24:07Speaker 3: Thank you? So my quick I have a quick question.
- 1:24:11Speaker 2: I think it's a quick question for Chris.
- 1:24:14Speaker 7: So going back to SPY and you're saying major support
- 1:24:19Speaker 7: is three eighty seven now and actually executing the put
- 1:24:25Speaker 7: for in the options, there's always like a list of
- 1:24:29Speaker 7: different strikes right prices, so you have so I'm looking
- 1:24:34Speaker 7: at one now for thirty for June twenty fourth. I
- 1:24:38Speaker 7: know the market is closed, but I'm just using this
- 1:24:40Speaker 7: for like a live example. So for end the money,
- 1:24:43Speaker 7: the price ranges from three ninety eight to four to
- 1:24:46Speaker 7: three going.
- 1:24:47Speaker 3: Out even further.
- 1:24:49Speaker 7: How do you pick your right the right strike price
- 1:24:54Speaker 7: if Spy were to hit that three eighty seven level.
- 1:24:59Speaker 3: Well every day, like let's let's you know, actually, let's
- 1:25:02Speaker 3: do a quick exercise. What's the current price right now
- 1:25:04Speaker 3: for SPY.
- 1:25:07Speaker 2: Eight?
- 1:25:08Speaker 3: Okay, so if you were to go for a three
- 1:25:09Speaker 3: ninety eight putt, is that in the money or at
- 1:25:14Speaker 3: the money?
- 1:25:16Speaker 14: In the money?
- 1:25:17Speaker 3: Okay?
- 1:25:17Speaker 7: Why it's because that's not the exact price.
- 1:25:22Speaker 9: Of the.
- 1:25:26Speaker 3: Stock. You got it, right, because it already surpassed that
- 1:25:29Speaker 3: going down. Right, If you go for a let's say
- 1:25:31Speaker 3: you go for a three ninety five put, is that
- 1:25:34Speaker 3: out the money or at the money? That would be
- 1:25:37Speaker 3: out the money, right, So it really depends, right. What
- 1:25:41Speaker 3: I would say is that before you get into that trade,
- 1:25:43Speaker 3: you'll probably wait for it to break down. Once it
- 1:25:46Speaker 3: breaks down and it actually holds below that three eighty
- 1:25:50Speaker 3: seven number, that's when I will say, go ahead and
- 1:25:53Speaker 3: go for that put. Right, And of course you could
- 1:25:56Speaker 3: definitely swing it, But what I would do is that
- 1:25:59Speaker 3: I'll probably go two weeks out and if you're up
- 1:26:02Speaker 3: forty to fifty, take the profit. Why because the market
- 1:26:05Speaker 3: right now we're down one day, up another one. We
- 1:26:09Speaker 3: are in the middle of a war in Ukraine and Russians,
- 1:26:11Speaker 3: so there's definitely lots of catalysts that are definitely impacting
- 1:26:15Speaker 3: the won the levels and also the different prices. But
- 1:26:19Speaker 3: what I will say is, first weight for that three
- 1:26:20Speaker 3: eighty seven to be broken. If spy goes about four hundred,
- 1:26:24Speaker 3: you best believe that we'll get back to the fro
- 1:26:26Speaker 3: fives and then back to the four tenths.
- 1:26:29Speaker 2: Okay, shout out to Nancy, Nancy Child out to you
- 1:26:33Speaker 2: for getting one hundred percent on that quizards now, Yeah,
- 1:26:37Speaker 2: thank you, We appreciate you. Shit.
- 1:26:41Speaker 5: Oh good, So let's do this. Let's do this. First
- 1:26:46Speaker 5: of all, shout out to everybody that watched this.
- 1:26:51Speaker 4: And like I said, this was a lot of information,
- 1:26:53Speaker 4: almost two hours of information, So even if you didn't
- 1:26:56Speaker 4: fully understand everything, this should be used as a resource
- 1:26:58Speaker 4: that you can actually go back to stop, take notes
- 1:27:01Speaker 4: things of that nature. We want to thank Chris for
- 1:27:04Speaker 4: his time. We're gonna give him a minute to talk
- 1:27:06Speaker 4: as well, but definitely want to acknowledge him and thank
- 1:27:10Speaker 4: him for his time taking time out of his day
- 1:27:13Speaker 4: on this Wednesday evening to educate the masses. And this
- 1:27:18Speaker 4: is gonna live on YouTube forever, so it'll probably been
- 1:27:21Speaker 4: twenty thirty forty thousand people that actually end up seeing
- 1:27:25Speaker 4: this video. So I'm sure that this will be a
- 1:27:27Speaker 4: resource that a lot of people can learn from for
- 1:27:30Speaker 4: a long period of time.
- 1:27:31Speaker 5: That's that's the beauty with YouTube. It's archived.
- 1:27:33Speaker 4: It'll actually also be on podcasts outlets Audio podcast outlets
- 1:27:36Speaker 4: on Friday. So once again this is something that we
- 1:27:40Speaker 4: do at eyl University every single week. Chris teaches two
- 1:27:44Speaker 4: classes for us and it's in this vein as far
- 1:27:48Speaker 4: as you know, to educate, go over charts, answer questions,
- 1:27:51Speaker 4: and that's just from the investment side of it. Of course,
- 1:27:54Speaker 4: we have the real estate component, we have the financial
- 1:27:56Speaker 4: planning component. We kind of you know, built like a
- 1:27:58Speaker 4: sh mortgage board of thefferent aspects. And then we also
- 1:28:02Speaker 4: have you know, Infinity Groups where people who actually started
- 1:28:04Speaker 4: groups on their own inside of the Eyo University. So
- 1:28:07Speaker 4: you know, something that we're very very proud of and
- 1:28:09Speaker 4: have built the community of thousands of people that you know,
- 1:28:12Speaker 4: learn from each other, learn from professors, and actually you know,
