- 0:11Speaker 1: Y'all. This is part two of a two part recap.
- 0:13Speaker 1: Part one is already in your feed. Part one is
- 0:16Speaker 1: Mandy sluitsker Ace Fanning, and Rachel Smith, and part two
- 0:20Speaker 1: is Doug Buden and Gibson John's we're breaking it all
- 0:23Speaker 1: down for you. What happened at Barravocon twenty twenty five. Okay, guys,
- 0:29Speaker 1: next up to chat about Bravo Con. I've got my
- 0:32Speaker 1: friend Gibson. John's gabbing with gibb How are you, Gibson?
- 0:38Speaker 1: You were all over Bravocon. Yeah.
- 0:40Speaker 2: I was running around like a chicken with my head
- 0:42Speaker 2: cut off for four straight days.
- 0:45Speaker 1: Everywhere I look, there's Gibson. There's Gibson. There's Gibson. He's sunglasses,
- 0:49Speaker 1: he's not sunglasses. He's with Jake from State Farm, He's
- 0:52Speaker 1: with the housewives, He's everywhere. You're everywhere.
- 0:56Speaker 2: You know what, I'm doing too much because everyone else
- 0:58Speaker 2: is doing too little, I guess or parks. No, it was.
- 1:03Speaker 2: It was quite the weekend. I had a great time,
- 1:05Speaker 2: and like, I love seeing you. I feel like I
- 1:08Speaker 2: saw you everywhere I went too. I feel like I
- 1:09Speaker 2: know we ran into each other at least like three
- 1:11Speaker 2: to three four or five times, like, which is great,
- 1:13Speaker 2: which is more than I can say about a lot
- 1:15Speaker 2: of people who I also wanted to see. But just
- 1:17Speaker 2: it's funny how like certain people, I feel like you,
- 1:20Speaker 2: you get on the same sort of track as them
- 1:22Speaker 2: for the weekend, and some people like you just completely
- 1:24Speaker 2: miss all weekend. You know.
- 1:25Speaker 3: Yeah, true, that's totally true.
- 1:28Speaker 1: I loved seeing you so much, and you were like
- 1:32Speaker 1: State Farm partner. You were in there with Jake from
- 1:35Speaker 1: State farm I just was dying how was Jake from
- 1:38Speaker 1: State Farm Because as much as I've seen him, I've
- 1:40Speaker 1: never met him.
- 1:41Speaker 2: He was a great guy. His real name is Kevin.
- 1:43Speaker 2: He's an actor named Kevin, but you know, Jake from
- 1:46Speaker 2: State Farmers is his defining role. And it's funny because,
- 1:50Speaker 2: like I was, you're in that activation when you're doing
- 1:53Speaker 2: stuff with them, and like he himself, I just didn't
- 1:56Speaker 2: realize how much of an attraction he was. Like he
- 1:59Speaker 2: people were like dying to see him and taking particularly
- 2:02Speaker 2: I think a lot of like husbands and boyfriends who
- 2:04Speaker 2: were there, like I think they were excited to see him.
- 2:08Speaker 2: I think the other funny part is that like Craig
- 2:10Speaker 2: was like one of their big collaborators, for the weekend
- 2:12Speaker 2: and whenever he was there. I mean, I think just
- 2:15Speaker 2: if you're at Bravo Con, he might be the biggest
- 2:19Speaker 2: attraction in terms of a singular person. Like, people go
- 2:24Speaker 2: crazy for Craig, and it's been the same at every
- 2:26Speaker 2: Bravo Con in that regard for me. Did you ever
- 2:28Speaker 2: see people respond to him sort of out on the floor.
- 2:32Speaker 1: No, Craig is one of those ones that two years
- 2:34Speaker 1: ago I saw everywhere I went, and this year I
- 2:36Speaker 1: never actually funny physically laid eyes on him other than
- 2:39Speaker 1: the Southern Charm panel.
- 2:41Speaker 2: Yeah, Like I saw him like three or four times
- 2:42Speaker 2: out in the wild, and like there would be like
- 2:44Speaker 2: hundreds of people, and I think it's one of those
- 2:46Speaker 2: things where it's like people like really like him, I think,
- 2:49Speaker 2: but also they have a crush on him, you know,
- 2:52Speaker 2: and he's single now and it's sort of like that's
- 2:54Speaker 2: kind of part of the appeal as well.
- 2:56Speaker 3: Yeah, he's very, very attractive.
- 2:58Speaker 2: Which great this weekend, he looks great.
- 3:01Speaker 1: He did. And I got to say that Southern Charm panel.
- 3:04Speaker 1: I didn't go to tons of panels, but I did
- 3:05Speaker 1: go to that one, and you could tell that there
- 3:08Speaker 1: is really like bad feelings between Austin and.
- 3:11Speaker 2: Crag totally like when when they really addressed that topic
- 3:15Speaker 2: in particular what they like, they like waited a beat,
- 3:18Speaker 2: and that beat felt like it was five minutes long,
- 3:20Speaker 2: you know, before they really liked, Like I think Austin
- 3:23Speaker 2: was the one who was like, well, you know, he
- 3:26Speaker 2: like took a big breath before he like answered. It
- 3:28Speaker 2: felt like, yeah, I thought that the Southern Charm panel,
- 3:33Speaker 2: to me, what it reflected was like how disjointed the
- 3:36Speaker 2: cast still is, Like it just feels like I do
- 3:39Speaker 2: like a lot of these people individually, but just it's
- 3:42Speaker 2: not a very cohesive group right now. It doesn't feel like,
- 3:44Speaker 2: you know, like you have your central four, which are
- 3:48Speaker 2: like the three guys and Madison, Yeah, and then there's
- 3:51Speaker 2: sort of like then there's Vanita, and there's sort of
- 3:54Speaker 2: like another level of like Sally Rodrigo, Mollie who again
- 3:59Speaker 2: a great but like it doesn't feel like they're a
- 4:01Speaker 2: friend group to me, you know, and that was reflected
- 4:04Speaker 2: in the panel.
- 4:06Speaker 3: I think that's true.
- 4:06Speaker 1: And then yeah, they had Patricia on the end, and
- 4:08Speaker 1: I was like, we can always use more Patricia, but
- 4:10Speaker 1: they weren't like throwing enough questions to her.
- 4:12Speaker 2: I felt and I don't need Whitney. I was whenever
- 4:15Speaker 2: he soke on this panel, I was like please, just like,
- 4:18Speaker 2: I know you're a producer on the show, but like
- 4:19Speaker 2: take yourself out of the on camera role, Like we
- 4:21Speaker 2: just don't need him there.
- 4:24Speaker 1: He is comedic relief in that he is like such
- 4:28Speaker 1: a dork. Do you know mean to me that he's
- 4:30Speaker 1: just such a he's such a tryhard I think, yeah,
- 4:34Speaker 1: it is not cute anymore to me, like sixty and
- 4:37Speaker 1: talk about how maybe you'll marry a three year old
- 4:39Speaker 1: you know, yeah, oh my god.
- 4:40Speaker 2: I think what frustrates me is that he is able
- 4:42Speaker 2: to like hop in and be funnier, dramatic or whatever
- 4:45Speaker 2: he wants to be for like an episode or two,
- 4:47Speaker 2: and then he gets to skip the reunion and ever
- 4:49Speaker 2: answer for his behavior. You know what I mean, Because
- 4:51Speaker 2: he's true, and that's why I think it's unfair.
- 4:55Speaker 1: True. That's a great point. Yeah, And of course that
- 4:59Speaker 1: you know, as wouldn't be Bravo Kon without a viral
- 5:02Speaker 1: video of Shep being drawn God crouting his mouth off.
- 5:07Speaker 2: Mm hmm. He why is he so obsessed with Page?
- 5:11Speaker 2: He also brought her up on the Walk Drop and
- 5:12Speaker 2: side taping that I went to that has not aired yet.
- 5:17Speaker 2: He's given a Mary Shag kill of Craig's exes and
- 5:21Speaker 2: he kills Paige and he's like, I just got I
- 5:24Speaker 2: could never be team Page blah blah blah. On the
- 5:26Speaker 2: Summer House side is like or team Page obviously, but
- 5:28Speaker 2: it's like he just like he's like really stuck on
- 5:32Speaker 2: her and I and it's like more so than Craig is.
- 5:35Speaker 2: And it's a little weird to me.
- 5:38Speaker 1: That happens sometimes.
- 5:39Speaker 2: That does.
- 5:41Speaker 1: That happens sometimes, I think, especially that you're saying it now,
- 5:44Speaker 1: like where somebody will break up and then their friend
- 5:47Speaker 1: gets really stuck on it. You're like, I'm over it.
- 5:49Speaker 1: You should be over it too, right, Yeah, true?
- 5:52Speaker 3: Interesting, shep. I don't know, he's got a lot of
- 5:54Speaker 3: anger in his heart.
- 5:55Speaker 2: Yeah, And it's like just right when you think that
- 5:57Speaker 2: he maybe he's like on the right track or his
- 5:59Speaker 2: changed or whatever, it's like, no, I don't know. You know,
- 6:02Speaker 2: a zebra never changes their stripes.
- 6:04Speaker 1: So I think that's right. But you know, God bless
- 6:07Speaker 1: for him for saying he's gonna.
- 6:08Speaker 2: Try and he has entertainment.
- 6:11Speaker 3: You know, he's he's Jack's light is what he is.
- 6:15Speaker 2: That's yeah, he's Southern Jack's light exactly.
- 6:18Speaker 1: That's right, He's Jack's light because he's not quite abusive
- 6:22Speaker 1: Coquette level, but just maybe loud at Coquette and.
- 6:27Speaker 2: She and Shep has some uh, he has some intellect
- 6:31Speaker 2: in him, you know, he totally like he's a smart guy.
- 6:34Speaker 2: And he has moments where he really shows that you
- 6:37Speaker 2: wish you could do it more, but you know he
- 6:40Speaker 2: can't control himself.
- 6:41Speaker 1: No, he can't. That was interesting. I also went to
- 6:44Speaker 1: the The Valley panel and.
- 6:47Speaker 2: I went to one.
- 6:49Speaker 3: Yeah, okay, that was the first.
- 6:50Speaker 1: One, and I went to that one and it was
- 6:54Speaker 1: it was really good. And later throughout the weekend, I
- 6:58Speaker 1: met Jesse, Danny, Michelle. Those are the three that I met.
- 7:02Speaker 1: I found Michelle to be delightful.
- 7:06Speaker 2: I've never met Michelle, but I really like I'm more
- 7:09Speaker 2: on Michelle's side of things than the Jesse side of
- 7:11Speaker 2: things on the show, so I didn't get to meet
- 7:15Speaker 2: her I met. I think the only value people that
- 7:17Speaker 2: I met were Janet and Jason on the Red Carpet.
- 7:20Speaker 1: How are they? They were good?
- 7:22Speaker 2: Yeah, listen, I haven't I don't have an affinity for Janet,
- 7:26Speaker 2: but I have a connection to her because we did
- 7:28Speaker 2: an interview that again played into the show. Remember last season,
- 7:31Speaker 2: it was at the top of the season, and we
- 7:33Speaker 2: had never met before in person, and so it was
- 7:36Speaker 2: kind of this funny moment where like she was kind
- 7:37Speaker 2: of coming down the line with Jason on his crutches
- 7:39Speaker 2: and I was like, Janet, we caused some drama, didn't we,
- 7:45Speaker 2: you know, And she was I think when she looked
- 7:47Speaker 2: fucking amazing. And I think that she My impression from
- 7:52Speaker 2: her over the weekend is that like she's kind of
- 7:55Speaker 2: at the point where I think she knows that a
- 7:57Speaker 2: lot of the fans like don't really like her that much. Yeah,
- 8:01Speaker 2: and but she knows that she's a pretty good villain
- 8:03Speaker 2: for the show. So I think that she she seems
- 8:05Speaker 2: to be kind of leaning into that in a way,
- 8:07Speaker 2: like her and Tamra posted a picture together like we'll
- 8:09Speaker 2: be your villain, Like that's what I think at this
- 8:12Speaker 2: point I kind of want from her, like, yeah, that's
- 8:15Speaker 2: if that's the role she has found herself in and
- 8:17Speaker 2: she's willing to do it, just lean in, you know.
- 8:20Speaker 3: Yeah, I think, like Stacy before her, just lean in.
- 8:23Speaker 1: But I will say that somebody needs to get up
- 8:26Speaker 1: at the panel and say, you know, everybody seems to
- 8:29Speaker 1: have a redemption season and is yours coming, Janet, And
- 8:32Speaker 1: she goes, no, I think if you didn't like me before,
- 8:35Speaker 1: you're not gonna like me now. So no, yeah, And
- 8:37Speaker 1: I was like, all right, let's be.
- 8:38Speaker 2: Honest, and I think that she Yeah. I think that
- 8:42Speaker 2: in real life she is not I would I would
- 8:45Speaker 2: not consider to be the villain. I don't think she's
- 8:47Speaker 2: actually really liked that, but like within the context of
- 8:49Speaker 2: the show and being a Christian adversary, yeah, I think
- 8:53Speaker 2: she's willing to play that role. And the audience is
- 8:54Speaker 2: kind of always going to be on Kristin's side at
- 8:56Speaker 2: least for right now.
- 8:57Speaker 3: At least for right now, right just because we because she.
- 9:00Speaker 2: Is, there's much a roof for there. Yeah, exactly.
- 9:03Speaker 1: Speaking to vander Pump, I did not watch the trailer,
- 9:06Speaker 1: nor did I watch the screener that I got.
- 9:07Speaker 3: Have you watched either the trailer or the screener.
- 9:10Speaker 2: I've watched the trailer, not the screener yet. The screener
- 9:12Speaker 2: came the day after bravacn For me, I had a
- 9:17Speaker 2: state farm thing during the when they screened it at
- 9:19Speaker 2: the at Bravacon. But I heard they didn't play the
- 9:21Speaker 2: full episode. I heard it was like only part of
- 9:23Speaker 2: it or something. But uh, you know, I'm going to
- 9:28Speaker 2: watch it. I'm gonna give it a chance, just like
- 9:30Speaker 2: I did with a couple other shows that I wasn't
- 9:33Speaker 2: excited for but ended up beeling good, like Next Gen,
- 9:36Speaker 2: like The Valley, like Southern Hospitality. So you know, I'm
- 9:41Speaker 2: I'm I have an open heart with it, but I
- 9:42Speaker 2: think it's going to take a lot more to convince
- 9:44Speaker 2: me that this group, in this new kind of reboot
- 9:49Speaker 2: has That's what it takes the stack up, you know. Yeah,
- 9:54Speaker 2: I know there's a big only fan storyline with one
- 9:56Speaker 2: of them. That's that's all I sort of know about it.
- 9:58Speaker 2: But oh it's a guy. Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 10:01Speaker 2: it's a guy.
- 10:02Speaker 3: Okay, Well all right.
- 10:05Speaker 1: I just I just feel like I think Mandy or
- 10:08Speaker 1: somebody said, like, it would have been great if they
- 10:09Speaker 1: would have named it like Second Shift or just something,
- 10:13Speaker 1: you know, to sort of differentiate it. But as like
- 10:15Speaker 1: they did the same to Roni, they just keep the
- 10:18Speaker 1: same name.
- 10:19Speaker 2: Yeah yeah, yeah, It's it's sort of like with Ronnie.
- 10:22Speaker 2: It's like when they did the reboot. It was like
- 10:23Speaker 2: it was season what like thirteen or fourteen, whatever it was,
- 10:26Speaker 2: and it's like, yeah, it should have been in season one.
- 10:30Speaker 2: Just like I agree, it's a second shift would have
- 10:31Speaker 2: been amazing. Bander Pump Rules second shift like perfect, Like
- 10:34Speaker 2: like just like you know, Love Island Beyond the Villa,
- 10:36Speaker 2: you just add that sort of extra couple of words,
- 10:39Speaker 2: and it does make it a different show, you know,
- 10:41Speaker 2: even if it's the same premise.
- 10:44Speaker 1: I will tell you that I ran in to.
- 10:48Speaker 3: Zachary Reality.
- 10:49Speaker 1: It's just like, you know, like everybody's handle, like I
- 10:51Speaker 1: never know their actual name, Zachary Reality. And he was
- 10:55Speaker 1: going to the next Gen panel and I was like, oh,
- 10:56Speaker 1: I'm just like I don't really watch the show, but
- 10:58Speaker 1: I'm going because been in Ronnie you're hosting it. And
- 11:01Speaker 1: he said, I'm waiting to get a text because Taylor
- 11:04Speaker 1: Frankie Paul is in Vegas shooting for the Bachelorette a
- 11:10Speaker 1: date and I'm waiting for the brewiser to tell me
- 11:13Speaker 1: because I want to go to do like an interview.
- 11:14Speaker 3: I was like, well, that sounds more exciting.
- 11:18Speaker 2: Yeah, he's in on the Bachelor World, so I hope
- 11:22Speaker 2: he went and did that. I'm actually really excited for Taylor,
- 11:24Speaker 2: Frankie Paul and the Boucherette. As a side note, I
- 11:27Speaker 2: am too.
- 11:27Speaker 1: I watched all of warmon wise while I was at
- 11:29Speaker 1: Prova Con because at night, you go to your room
- 11:31Speaker 1: and I'm.
- 11:31Speaker 2: Like, my god, oh my god, I didn't. I'm jealous
- 11:33Speaker 2: you watch it. I was like in my mind, I
- 11:35Speaker 2: was like, I am consciously just like putting that to
- 11:38Speaker 2: next week to this week. Okay, yeah, yeah you didn't.
- 11:41Speaker 2: I couldn't invent go down that road because I love
- 11:43Speaker 2: that show, but so it needs my full attention, so
- 11:45Speaker 2: I have not watched it yet.
- 11:47Speaker 1: It was very a very good season and now I'm
- 11:49Speaker 1: sad that it's over because I watched all of it
- 11:51Speaker 1: in three days. You know, Oh my god, jealous, And
- 11:53Speaker 1: I know I'm sad that I did that to myself.
- 11:57Speaker 1: So if you have any recommendations shows, I'm looking for
- 11:59Speaker 1: another a long wing to watch.
- 12:02Speaker 3: But I gotta tell you, Okay, so give.
- 12:04Speaker 1: Me at Bravo Con like your best, because you were
- 12:07Speaker 1: interviewing people on the on the carpet, So tell me
- 12:11Speaker 1: what was like your best one of your most surprising one.
- 12:13Speaker 2: So I'm see I'm working on editing all, Like I
- 12:15Speaker 2: basically had like a bunch of like two to three
- 12:17Speaker 2: minute interviews, like they're they're pretty quick, you know, because
- 12:19Speaker 2: they're going they're doing like so many outlets in an hour.
- 12:24Speaker 2: But I got some really great people. I got Andy,
- 12:26Speaker 2: which was really great to get, you know, and he
- 12:29Speaker 2: you know, is familiar with me at this point, which
- 12:32Speaker 2: was an it's a nice feeling. I would say. He
- 12:34Speaker 2: was really generous with his time. Who else did I
- 12:38Speaker 2: love to get some time with? I wish i'd got
- 12:40Speaker 2: I got Lisa and Adriana from Miami. I wish i'd
- 12:43Speaker 2: gotten them after their panel because their panel was like
- 12:45Speaker 2: so chaotic and I think not a good way all
- 12:48Speaker 2: because of Adriana doing that stunt she did. And I
- 12:50Speaker 2: would have loved to hear from her. I would have
- 12:53Speaker 2: loved to hear from an explanation from her about that.
- 12:57Speaker 2: So that was that. Who else was great on the
- 13:00Speaker 2: red carpet? Drusidora was really generous with her time And
- 13:05Speaker 2: I find her place in Atlanta likely to be really
- 13:08Speaker 2: interesting because she's sort of like in the middle there,
- 13:11Speaker 2: but she's I think she's kind of constantly being hazed
- 13:14Speaker 2: almost you know, she's kind of like she hasn't gotten
- 13:18Speaker 2: She's like the Brittany Bait.
- 13:19Speaker 1: She's like the Brittany Bateman of Atlanta.
- 13:21Speaker 2: Yeah, in a way, I think she's she hasn't like
- 13:24Speaker 2: earned her stripes in some way still, even though she's
- 13:26Speaker 2: been on for like four or five years. Yeah, who
- 13:30Speaker 2: else did I chat with? I need to like literally
- 13:33Speaker 2: look at my Instagram, like I literally I feel like
- 13:35Speaker 2: I'm slowly regaining my brain cells.
- 13:38Speaker 1: You know. Yes, yes, I just had to said, I
- 13:40Speaker 1: said one hundred and fourteen pictures to my social media girl,
- 13:43Speaker 1: and it took me. It took me an hour to
- 13:46Speaker 1: get it down to that, just because so many of
- 13:49Speaker 1: them were like the same exact picture. But in like,
- 13:52Speaker 1: you know, I was like, yeah, I got to get
- 13:54Speaker 1: the best ones. And I was like, oh no, I
- 13:56Speaker 1: who forgot?
- 13:58Speaker 2: You know, it's rare to get some time with Beverly
- 14:00Speaker 2: Hills people in general, you know, And got Erica and
- 14:02Speaker 2: Bose together on the red carpet, which was which was good.
- 14:06Speaker 2: And literally, I I don't think I could tell you
- 14:08Speaker 2: really what we talked about in any of these instances
- 14:10Speaker 2: because it's so like, go go go. I probably did,
- 14:13Speaker 2: like I probably did like twelve of these in an hour,
- 14:15Speaker 2: you know, and just like you know, I kind of
- 14:16Speaker 2: black out. Dolores had been really uh kind ahead of
- 14:22Speaker 2: Bravo Con because I did a panel. I hosted a
- 14:25Speaker 2: panel at the first Bravo Con with her and Teresa,
- 14:27Speaker 2: and she was like, you know what, like I remember
- 14:29Speaker 2: that and like I will always kind of appreciate you know,
- 14:33Speaker 2: you being my first Bravo Con interview, and she's and
- 14:36Speaker 2: I and I remember what I talked about with her
- 14:38Speaker 2: because I think you you're on the press line, you
- 14:41Speaker 2: sort of witness which people uh kind of respect that,
- 14:46Speaker 2: like respect the media's role and like want to go
- 14:48Speaker 2: down the whole line and not skip anybody. And she's
- 14:51Speaker 2: like one of those top people who does that, and
- 14:53Speaker 2: she really understands the game, and she understands that like
- 14:56Speaker 2: without the fans, without the media, without the creators and
- 14:59Speaker 2: podcasters and stuff, like, they wouldn't have nearly as much,
- 15:04Speaker 2: you know, and she she's always had that appreciation, which
- 15:07Speaker 2: I really it feels good, you know, it feels good
- 15:10Speaker 2: to have that that recognized. I was on the last
- 15:15Speaker 2: so the last day there was like a creator's red carpet,
- 15:19Speaker 2: so it wasn't pressed. It was like in TikTok people
- 15:21Speaker 2: and I wasn't on there, but I went into the
- 15:23Speaker 2: room because I had a press pass and Chanelle Ian
- 15:26Speaker 2: was in there, who was doing her social media correspondence
- 15:28Speaker 2: for Bravo TV. Ye. She she didn't interview with me,
- 15:32Speaker 2: and it was like she interviewed me and I was like,
- 15:38Speaker 2: it was it was a chaotic five minutes of my time.
- 15:40Speaker 2: Let me just tell you. And we know each other well,
- 15:42Speaker 2: but it was like if they ever post that, I
- 15:45Speaker 2: don't know what we'll make it in because it was
- 15:49Speaker 2: all over the place in a good way.
- 15:52Speaker 1: Oh God, I'm gonna have to ask you how do
- 15:54Speaker 1: I get into that Creators?
- 15:56Speaker 3: You know, I would love.
- 15:57Speaker 1: To just like have like a two minute set to
- 15:59Speaker 1: be able to do that, but it's like I don't
- 16:01Speaker 1: know how to.
- 16:04Speaker 2: I wasn't included in that. I wish I was just
- 16:05Speaker 2: able to go into the room because I had my
- 16:07Speaker 2: press pass on the previous two days. Yeah, I wasn't
- 16:09Speaker 2: invited as part of the creator panel. Uh press line.
- 16:13Speaker 1: But yeah, I gotta figure out how get invited. Well,
- 16:17Speaker 1: I gotta tell you seeing you all over the place
- 16:19Speaker 1: living your best life, Okay, so tell me, Okay, So
- 16:23Speaker 1: we were together at Margaret joseph ssary party. I think
- 16:26Speaker 1: that party got like super fun after we left.
- 16:28Speaker 2: It did. Yeah, we went to watch Trappings live, but
- 16:31Speaker 2: I don't I don't regret going to watch Appons live either, neither,
- 16:34Speaker 2: like I really enjoyed those tape things. But yeah, I
- 16:38Speaker 2: think a lot of people showed up sort of as
- 16:39Speaker 2: we were leaving or right after we left.
- 16:41Speaker 1: And then the other party where I saw you, I
- 16:43Speaker 1: mean I saw you all over the place. I saw
- 16:45Speaker 1: you Ben and Ronnie's listener meet up because we'd had
- 16:49Speaker 1: our listener meet up earlier before Amy Phillips show, and
- 16:52Speaker 1: so then I actually like looked at decent. So I
- 16:54Speaker 1: went out, but you know me, I wanted to go
- 16:55Speaker 1: to bed. I wanted to get back in my bed
- 16:57Speaker 1: with Mormon wives.
- 16:58Speaker 2: But I was told you had to show off that lam.
- 17:01Speaker 2: I had to shell off that lam. You were looking
- 17:03Speaker 2: fab and.
- 17:03Speaker 1: I was like, I got my makeup. Then I guess
- 17:05Speaker 1: I'll go and take some pictures. Now, did you stay
- 17:07Speaker 1: at that party late?
- 17:10Speaker 2: I stayed at that for a little longer than you,
- 17:12Speaker 2: I tad. I talked to Ryan Bailey for a while. Yeah,
- 17:16Speaker 2: And I also there's a couple of people who listened
- 17:18Speaker 2: to Gavin with Gibb who introduced themselves to me. So
- 17:20Speaker 2: I talked to them for a bit and then I
- 17:22Speaker 2: was like, you know what, I hadn't gone out. I'd
- 17:24Speaker 2: gone to the water Trappens live taping to the previous
- 17:26Speaker 2: two nights, and I'd been a good boy and gone
- 17:28Speaker 2: back to my hotel to get something some and I
- 17:33Speaker 2: was like, I was giving myself the green flag to
- 17:36Speaker 2: the green light to go out that night. So I
- 17:39Speaker 2: met Yes. So I took an uber to Piranho, which
- 17:44Speaker 2: is a gay club, and Corey, who helped manage Meredith
- 17:49Speaker 2: Marx and her djaying stuff, he had a table there
- 17:52Speaker 2: and so it was like me, him and then a
- 17:54Speaker 2: bunch of producers of the shows at a table. We
- 17:59Speaker 2: weren't really talking about Bravo stuff. It was kind of
- 18:01Speaker 2: like a you know, let's let awesome seem kind of vibe,
- 18:04Speaker 2: but like, it's so funny. It was all these game
- 18:05Speaker 2: men who produced a lot of the shows, you know,
- 18:07Speaker 2: at this in the same place. It was kind of funny.
- 18:10Speaker 2: Was there DeRosa Chris showed up, Yeah, okay, Kate Chastain
- 18:15Speaker 2: showed up, Ashley Darby showed up after one am and
- 18:19Speaker 2: she got greeted by like a go go dancer with
- 18:21Speaker 2: a tequila bottle, and yeah, I don't it's a little
- 18:26Speaker 2: bit blurry, but that was what I did later that night.
- 18:30Speaker 1: But you were there on Sunday professional as always.
- 18:34Speaker 2: You know what, getting up that morning, having to pack
- 18:38Speaker 2: my bags to check out because check out was at eleven,
- 18:41Speaker 2: but asked Andy was at ten fifteen. I had to
- 18:44Speaker 2: record my podcast before that. That was a rough couple hours. Yeah,
- 18:48Speaker 2: that was rough, but we know what we we pushed
- 18:51Speaker 2: through were fighters.
- 18:52Speaker 1: And so you left Sunday night.
- 18:55Speaker 2: I had a red eye Sunday night, and the Next
- 18:57Speaker 2: Gen cast, the Next Gen cast was on my flight,
- 19:02Speaker 2: all of them except for Georgia. They had they all
- 19:04Speaker 2: had drinks before the flight at the bar across from
- 19:07Speaker 2: the gate. And then I also saw Jackie, Doctor Jackie
- 19:11Speaker 2: and Heavenly waiting Atlanta. A flight to Atlanta was boarding
- 19:16Speaker 2: next to ours. I don't think it's I don't think
- 19:18Speaker 2: it's a flight that Portia was on. It must have
- 19:21Speaker 2: been a different one because I mean I didn't see her,
- 19:23Speaker 2: and I feel like you would have seen her. Yeah,
- 19:27Speaker 2: but yeah, those are my airport sightings.
- 19:31Speaker 1: Well, on the way there, well, I told you also
- 19:35Speaker 1: with the j SX with Ludacrous and Richard Marks and
- 19:39Speaker 1: Daisy Point. But on the way home we had tea
- 19:45Speaker 1: from Potomac was oh nice right by me and I
- 19:49Speaker 1: didn't ever, you know, lots of people stopped on the
- 19:52Speaker 1: way down and were like, did you have a nice sentence?
- 19:54Speaker 1: She was super friendly to everyone. And then we were
- 19:58Speaker 1: at baggage claim. I was like, I don't want to
- 20:00Speaker 1: do it, like one last shot at DCA before you know,
- 20:04Speaker 1: And I just went up and gave her our poker
- 20:06Speaker 1: chip and was like, I said next year on the plane,
- 20:08Speaker 1: I didn't want to bother you. I trying to tell you,
- 20:09Speaker 1: you know, we we're local cover the show. If you
- 20:12Speaker 1: ever want a friendly podcast to come on, like unless
- 20:15Speaker 1: you're doctor Wendy where Karen, unless you're a fella or
- 20:20Speaker 1: assumed to be felling, We're gonna be really nice and
- 20:22Speaker 1: we love Ashley, you know. We chatted for a second
- 20:25Speaker 1: and Ingrid runs up to super nice. Ingrid runs up
- 20:29Speaker 1: to her and goes.
- 20:31Speaker 3: Where do you live?
- 20:33Speaker 1: Like not hello, I'm.
- 20:34Speaker 3: The producer anything.
- 20:36Speaker 1: Ingrid just runs incause where do you live? And she
- 20:38Speaker 1: goes yes, and I said, oh, well, this is my producer,
- 20:41Speaker 1: Ingrid Nice, and Inger goes, I'm sorry, I just came
- 20:44Speaker 1: in hot and to you Goes, I didn't know, like
- 20:47Speaker 1: are you ice or something like what are you doing?
- 20:50Speaker 2: That's so funny.
- 20:52Speaker 1: Ingrid was asking her because Ingrid goes to the gym
- 20:56Speaker 1: with Ashley. She was going to ask Tia, do you
- 20:58Speaker 1: go to the same gym? You know, do you ever
- 21:00Speaker 1: go to the gym with Ashley? Because I'll see you there,
- 21:02Speaker 1: that kind of thing. But she just came in hot
- 21:05Speaker 1: and the funny a TSA and I didn't know if
- 21:06Speaker 1: you were ice. Hilarious, it's really funny. But I was like, okay,
- 21:10Speaker 1: don't mind her if you want to come on my
- 21:12Speaker 1: podcast sometime. But that was it. But the Porscha thing
- 21:16Speaker 1: in one of the bravok on Facebook groups, I saw
- 21:19Speaker 1: somebody say they were on that flight and that Porsche
- 21:21Speaker 1: and these other people were in first and this person
- 21:24Speaker 1: was a Delta Comfort one row back, so they were
- 21:26Speaker 1: right there they could see the whole thing, and they
- 21:29Speaker 1: said that apparently it was a woman on the flight
- 21:32Speaker 1: that was like verbally assaulting Porsche who was just saying
- 21:35Speaker 1: stuff back and it wasn't a housewife and that the
- 21:39Speaker 1: other woman was the one that was in trouble and
- 21:41Speaker 1: Porscha was just questioned because she was the one being
- 21:43Speaker 1: verbally assaulted.
- 21:45Speaker 2: Ridiculous.
- 21:46Speaker 3: I mean, don didn't know what why was it just
- 21:48Speaker 3: like a fan or what?
- 21:50Speaker 1: Was it? Weird?
- 21:53Speaker 2: Yeah, it's I mean, it could be so many things, right,
- 21:56Speaker 2: It's like, it could be a fan who doesn't like her.
- 21:58Speaker 2: It could be a fan of one of her adversaries
- 22:00Speaker 2: on the show. It could be somebody who just like
- 22:03Speaker 2: thought that Porsche was getting special treatment, you know what
- 22:05Speaker 2: I mean, Yeah, it could be. It could be a
- 22:07Speaker 2: million things. Drunk, I mean, you're you're you're leaving Vegas
- 22:11Speaker 2: on a Sunday, like somebody also could be just drunk
- 22:13Speaker 2: and an idiot, you know.
- 22:14Speaker 1: And be like you knocked my seat or something.
- 22:16Speaker 2: Totally like it's it. There's so many things. So I
- 22:19Speaker 2: hope that eventually Porscha comes out or maybe Porta will
- 22:22Speaker 2: go and watch Happens Live or something and yes, tell
- 22:26Speaker 2: us us the story.
- 22:27Speaker 3: We always leave it to watch what happens, love to
- 22:28Speaker 3: get the scoop. Always that's somebody else?
- 22:32Speaker 1: Was that I've been talking I've been talking to people
- 22:33Speaker 1: all day about this, somebody else said, hopefully so, and
- 22:39Speaker 1: so we'll go and watch what happens Love and explain it.
- 22:41Speaker 1: It was about Madison something.
- 22:44Speaker 2: I hope that Madison explains exactly why Cy was a
- 22:46Speaker 2: mean girl to her. Yeah, because Madison was on his
- 22:52Speaker 2: Hollywood or something. I saw a clip and she was like,
- 22:56Speaker 2: you know, Cy messes the wrong girl basically, but she
- 23:00Speaker 2: nobody's asked her from what I've seen so far, like
- 23:03Speaker 2: what did side to to you that night? What does
- 23:06Speaker 2: she say specifically, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, exactly that that
- 23:08Speaker 2: made you think that she's the meanest person in the world.
- 23:12Speaker 2: Because I believe Madison. I don't think she's randomly going
- 23:14Speaker 2: to like target sigh as like being the meanest girl
- 23:16Speaker 2: in the world.
- 23:17Speaker 1: Like I believe she had.
- 23:18Speaker 2: Experience with her. And you know, Cy has doubled down
- 23:23Speaker 2: on her stance on it, which is like wild because
- 23:25Speaker 2: she was initially accusing Madison of confusing her with somebody
- 23:28Speaker 2: else and essentially being racist because of that, but she wasn't.
- 23:31Speaker 2: Madison was not confusing her with somebody else, and so
- 23:33Speaker 2: I think it's a little I think it's ridiculous that
- 23:35Speaker 2: Si hasn't walked that part back right, but you know,
- 23:39Speaker 2: she's kind of doubling down, So I think it's a
- 23:41Speaker 2: bad look for cy. But I guess Madison did make
- 23:43Speaker 2: the first public swing, but I had made a private
- 23:46Speaker 2: swing in her.
- 23:47Speaker 1: So but we don't know what.
- 23:49Speaker 2: We don't know, we don't know what, we don't know what.
- 23:51Speaker 1: No, we love a good Brava kondrama. I love the
- 23:54Speaker 1: rumor going around that Sheena had punched a Southern Charm
- 23:57Speaker 1: cast member backstage.
- 23:59Speaker 2: That was a great I'm like a little yes, I'm
- 24:03Speaker 2: like a little over like the constant just like fake
- 24:06Speaker 2: rumors about Shea though I'm kind of like, I don't know,
- 24:09Speaker 2: I'm a little like exhausted by that. Like it's like
- 24:18Speaker 2: you go to like you go to her comments on Instagram,
- 24:21Speaker 2: and it's like people will like people will like celebrate
- 24:24Speaker 2: the fact that like some other former person like that
- 24:26Speaker 2: Carol or Camille were there, Like it's like, oh my god, great,
- 24:29Speaker 2: like a former star is like back and like celebrated
- 24:31Speaker 2: a Bravo con. Sina's there and the comments are like, Wow,
- 24:35Speaker 2: you're so desperate you showed up to Bravo. Khan, You're
- 24:37Speaker 2: not on the show anymore. And it's like she gets
- 24:39Speaker 2: I just I'm kind of like just like over that
- 24:41Speaker 2: like fan narrative about her. I understand that, I understand
- 24:44Speaker 2: complete like why it's there, but I'm like, oh, I'm.
- 24:48Speaker 3: Just like, I mean, she was invited and paid, just
- 24:50Speaker 3: like everybody else.
- 24:52Speaker 2: Exactly exactly. She she'll do this, she'll do very similar
- 24:55Speaker 2: thing to somebody else, and just it's like it's like
- 24:58Speaker 2: taken in the complete. I think it just shows that
- 25:01Speaker 2: she should take some time away and like really back off,
- 25:03Speaker 2: like for a little bit and really kind of like
- 25:06Speaker 2: give give some people some like breathing room with her.
- 25:08Speaker 2: I think that's part part of the problem, Like she
- 25:10Speaker 2: has never really stopped.
- 25:13Speaker 1: So I don't know, Yeah, you got you got mouths
- 25:16Speaker 1: to feed.
- 25:16Speaker 2: I know, totally.
- 25:18Speaker 3: Why do you think Carol was there? Carol rides Well.
- 25:22Speaker 2: I almost wonder if it was just sort of like
- 25:24Speaker 2: her and Andy had made up recently, and maybe he
- 25:27Speaker 2: like as a show of good faith to like really
- 25:30Speaker 2: show that like he means that, like he does want
- 25:33Speaker 2: to be on a good path with her, you know,
- 25:36Speaker 2: because I feel like with Andy, it could if you're
- 25:38Speaker 2: on the receiving end of that, maybe it could feel like, oh,
- 25:40Speaker 2: he's just doing this to like kind of, you know,
- 25:42Speaker 2: make his side of the fence clean or whatever. You know.
- 25:45Speaker 2: But I feel like maybe he was just like, why
- 25:47Speaker 2: don't you come to the twentieth anniversary taping? You know,
- 25:49Speaker 2: like you were a big part of Ronie for a while.
- 25:52Speaker 2: You know, it was kind of random that she was there.
- 25:54Speaker 2: I would say, like, you know, she's she sticks out
- 25:57Speaker 2: in like a group of Luyenne, Durinda Son and her.
- 26:01Speaker 2: You know, but I love that she was there. You know,
- 26:05Speaker 2: I think they me too. It was kind of what
- 26:08Speaker 2: definitely was kind of random for sure.
- 26:11Speaker 1: Okay, I've now asked three people this and nobody knows
- 26:14Speaker 1: the answer. So maybe you know the answer.
- 26:16Speaker 2: Okay.
- 26:17Speaker 1: They announced Ultimate Girls Trip road Trip and they said
- 26:20Speaker 1: it's going to start the OC and stop at every place. Okay,
- 26:23Speaker 1: what does it mean? Are we starting in the o
- 26:25Speaker 1: C with Vicky and Tamra and they were gonna go
- 26:28Speaker 1: style people.
- 26:30Speaker 2: And then not provided any details. There's some there's rumors
- 26:33Speaker 2: on who is on the cast. Have you have you
- 26:37Speaker 2: seen these rumors?
- 26:38Speaker 1: No?
- 26:38Speaker 2: And I don't understand they're storing they're starting.
- 26:41Speaker 1: Here and ending here, and you know you're starting in.
- 26:44Speaker 2: The According to Mary Cosby's fan page on Twitter, which
- 26:49Speaker 2: sounds ridiculous, but they actually randomly like post t a
- 26:52Speaker 2: lot like I They'll have like they have some they
- 26:55Speaker 2: have some inside source with information they will be they.
- 26:57Speaker 1: Will maybe his cousin Joe.
- 26:59Speaker 2: I don't know who it is that doesn't they They
- 27:02Speaker 2: said they tweeted out alleged Real Housewives Ultimate Girls trip
- 27:05Speaker 2: details Allegedly. Vicky Gunn Wilson and Teresa are confirmed to
- 27:10Speaker 2: be on the cast, while Nini, Kyle, Giselle, Kim Zolziak,
- 27:13Speaker 2: and Karen Juger have been approached to be on the cast.
- 27:15Speaker 2: Louis that this is what this person has said, that
- 27:19Speaker 2: they've been approached. And Nini was on Carlos King's podcast yesterday.
- 27:23Speaker 2: I saw some clip and she was like, I'd be
- 27:25Speaker 2: open to the opportunity. And Andy did say they texted recently,
- 27:29Speaker 2: So I don't you know, people think that was kind
- 27:32Speaker 2: of an Easter egg or like a little bit of
- 27:33Speaker 2: a bread crumb. I mean, and maybe it's all It's
- 27:36Speaker 2: always gonna be wishful thinking with Ninnie until it's actually
- 27:39Speaker 2: something actually happens, you know. But I do kind of
- 27:43Speaker 2: feel like that has really simmered. The temperature has gone
- 27:47Speaker 2: down there a lot in that situation. M hm, and
- 27:52Speaker 2: like there's a real like he doesn't even say Bethne's
- 27:54Speaker 2: name anymore. They don't. They like nobody asked about Kenya.
- 27:57Speaker 2: Nobody talked about Kenya this weekend, Like Nani's name was mentioned.
- 28:01Speaker 2: So does I give you hope? I don't know. Maybe
- 28:05Speaker 2: it's false hope, but it would be pretty cool. It'd
- 28:10Speaker 2: be pretty cool. We'll see here on that.
- 28:11Speaker 3: But that's a huge cast.
- 28:13Speaker 1: So my question is, do you know if they're going
- 28:15Speaker 1: to like I have had three people pick up, two
- 28:18Speaker 1: people go a little bit, drop one person. Do you
- 28:21Speaker 1: know what I mean?
- 28:21Speaker 3: So the cast is sort of rotating.
- 28:23Speaker 2: Yeah, I really have no clue how it's going to work.
- 28:26Speaker 2: Only in an RV.
- 28:28Speaker 1: So Gibson, I was hoping you knew the answer.
- 28:31Speaker 2: I don't know the answer. I'm sorry, dang it.
- 28:33Speaker 1: And then he also said about New York. He said,
- 28:35Speaker 1: it is cast and they are starting to film.
- 28:38Speaker 2: They haven't started filming, haven't started, Okay, yeah, but I would,
- 28:42Speaker 2: I would. I get a pretty safe assumption that sy,
- 28:44Speaker 2: Aaron and Jessel will be on that considering Yeah, right,
- 28:48Speaker 2: And Brian Boylan put out his newsletter about Bravo con
- 28:52Speaker 2: yesterday and he said that he's heard it's them three
- 28:57Speaker 2: and three other people, three movies, three these.
- 29:01Speaker 1: But I mean, could we could we throw Carol in?
- 29:03Speaker 1: Could we just throw Carol?
- 29:04Speaker 2: I don't think I'll do that. I think that I
- 29:06Speaker 2: think that New Romney is one of those things that
- 29:09Speaker 2: the network and Andy are just a little bit stubborn
- 29:12Speaker 2: about in terms of like wanting to make a work
- 29:16Speaker 2: and wanting to show that like they were not wrong
- 29:18Speaker 2: to do so, you know.
- 29:20Speaker 3: Even though the people are shouting.
- 29:22Speaker 2: Yeah of course, I mean, of course, and I'm one
- 29:24Speaker 2: of those people, but I just realistically, I don't think
- 29:26Speaker 2: it's going to happen. Yeah, all right, she would work,
- 29:31Speaker 2: she would she would work, Yeah, totally, because she's.
- 29:34Speaker 1: Sort of.
- 29:36Speaker 3: The right kind of fancy that they are.
- 29:37Speaker 2: I think, you know, I completely agree. And I think
- 29:40Speaker 2: that she's like she lives a similar life like and
- 29:44Speaker 2: I think that she's actually friends with Aaron and like
- 29:46Speaker 2: she there are a lot of there's a lot of reasons.
- 29:48Speaker 2: I also don't think she would want to do it.
- 29:49Speaker 2: To be honest, I don't think she'd want to do it,
- 29:52Speaker 2: But I.
- 29:52Speaker 3: Don't think she wants to be on a show with
- 29:53Speaker 3: Louis Ansonia either.
- 29:55Speaker 2: I don't think she would be on that show. I
- 29:57Speaker 2: don't even know she. I don't think she'd do that
- 29:59Speaker 2: road trip show. I don't think Krol wants to be
- 30:01Speaker 2: on reality TV. I think this is an opportunity for
- 30:03Speaker 2: her to show that good some good faith with the
- 30:05Speaker 2: Brava audience. She's really excited about the substack that she
- 30:07Speaker 2: launched recently. That's like paywald everywhere you look, you know,
- 30:11Speaker 2: And I think she sees that as a way to
- 30:13Speaker 2: promote that almost and like that's kind okay. I don't.
- 30:16Speaker 2: I really don't think she wants to be on reality
- 30:17Speaker 2: TV anymore. That's sort of mine.
- 30:19Speaker 3: Is your subsect?
- 30:19Speaker 1: Writing? Is it her writing?
- 30:21Speaker 2: It's mostly writing. I think she goes live on it
- 30:23Speaker 2: sometimes or something on video. But I don't. I subscribe,
- 30:27Speaker 2: but I don't. I don't pay, so I can't read
- 30:30Speaker 2: like any of it. They're all paid. They're all paywalled. Yeah,
- 30:34Speaker 2: you're like.
- 30:34Speaker 1: I subscribe, but I don't pay, so I don't know
- 30:36Speaker 1: what it is.
- 30:37Speaker 2: I'm sure it's great. At first, it wasn't paid. At first,
- 30:40Speaker 2: you could you could read the first couple and then she,
- 30:42Speaker 2: you know, good for her that page here.
- 30:46Speaker 1: Listen. She doesn't need the money, but it's fine, okay,
- 30:49Speaker 1: to our knowledge, to our knowledge exactly. Okay, So do
- 30:52Speaker 1: you have any negative encounters you'd like to share?
- 30:57Speaker 2: You're pretty I'll share. I'll share one interaction and then
- 30:59Speaker 2: I and then I have to and then I got
- 31:00Speaker 2: to sign off. Ah Angel from Potomac had messaged me
- 31:08Speaker 2: ahead of the weekend and she was like, Hey, you're
- 31:09Speaker 2: gonna be a Bravocon and I said, yeah, like would
- 31:12Speaker 2: love I'd never met her before, Yeah, yeah, like would
- 31:15Speaker 2: Love's yeah totally. I was like, yeah, like I I
- 31:18Speaker 2: tweet about show a lot. Yeah, I'd love to, like,
- 31:20Speaker 2: you know, would love to meet if we her paths
- 31:22Speaker 2: cross or whatever. And then I had been out at
- 31:26Speaker 2: a panel or something and came back to the press
- 31:28Speaker 2: room and she was leaving the press line with Karna
- 31:31Speaker 2: and I was like, oh, hey, Angel, like it's it's me,
- 31:33Speaker 2: like Gibson, like you messaged me or whatever. And she's like, oh, hey,
- 31:36Speaker 2: are you finally gonna be nice to me again? Anyway?
- 31:38Speaker 2: Are you finally gonna be nice to me? And I
- 31:41Speaker 2: was like, I was like, what do you mean? I
- 31:43Speaker 2: feel like I have I've been pretty fair, uh, you know,
- 31:45Speaker 2: talking about the show. She's like, you've been You've been
- 31:47Speaker 2: saying some not nice, some not so nice things about me.
- 31:50Speaker 2: And I said, what are Do you have an example
- 31:52Speaker 2: of something you thought was mean? She was like, oh no,
- 31:54Speaker 2: I can't think. I can't think of any examples. And
- 31:56Speaker 2: I was like, well, I was like, well, listen, I
- 31:59Speaker 2: feel like you're new to the show. I only have
- 32:02Speaker 2: the show to go off of when it comes to you.
- 32:04Speaker 2: And I don't think I've been mean about you personally.
- 32:06Speaker 2: I don't. I really don't think that if you think
- 32:08Speaker 2: that something has been a little shady or you know whatever.
- 32:12Speaker 2: But again, I go off the show, like I think
- 32:13Speaker 2: about Like I tweeted about the filtered picture, you know,
- 32:16Speaker 2: but that was but that was a side by side
- 32:19Speaker 2: that the producers put up on that show. You know.
- 32:21Speaker 2: I didn't make it myself, right. So I was like, listen,
- 32:25Speaker 2: I listen. I'm happy to have this conversation if you
- 32:28Speaker 2: want to have more of it. She was sort of
- 32:29Speaker 2: on the go, but just know that I'm one of
- 32:32Speaker 2: the nice ones. Okay, So if you think that I'm
- 32:34Speaker 2: being mean, then I don't know. Yeah, I'm pretty fair
- 32:40Speaker 2: and I'm pretty and I'm pretty like gracious when it
- 32:45Speaker 2: comes to these shows, and I think at best, at worse,
- 32:49Speaker 2: i'm like shady. But again, if if if she's the
- 32:52Speaker 2: only person who thinks that that's great, that's her. That's whatever.
- 32:56Speaker 2: But that was my one, that was my one interaction
- 32:58Speaker 2: that was sort of along the lines. But whatever is
- 33:03Speaker 2: what it is.
- 33:04Speaker 1: Yeah, well Aighty was your rose and Angel was your thorne.
- 33:09Speaker 2: You know what I would say. That's like kind of
- 33:12Speaker 2: like the like the top and the bottom of the
- 33:13Speaker 2: hierarchy when it comes to the weekend. So I'll take it.
- 33:17Speaker 2: I'll take it.
- 33:19Speaker 3: Tell everybody where they can find you.
- 33:22Speaker 2: Yes, my podcast is called Gabbing with Gibb, but several
- 33:25Speaker 2: times a week I did daily Bravo Con recaps over there,
- 33:28Speaker 2: and I'm going to put out all my interviews from
- 33:30Speaker 2: the Red Carpet. That's a big compilation episode, and then
- 33:33Speaker 2: I'll do one more Bravo Con episode. I think people
- 33:36Speaker 2: are gonna be tired of it by the end of
- 33:37Speaker 2: the week. But yeah, there was a lot of post
- 33:39Speaker 2: Bravocon drama that I want to sort of follow, so
- 33:42Speaker 2: I'll do an episode about that and answer sort of
- 33:44Speaker 2: lingering listener questions on there and yeah, gabbing with GiB.
- 33:48Speaker 2: We also have an Instagram account or your post clips
- 33:50Speaker 2: and memes and all that kind of stuff. So thanks
- 33:52Speaker 2: so much for having me as per usual American.

- 37:56Speaker 3: Getting mobbed every four seconds.
- 37:57Speaker 1: You can't even have a conversation.
- 38:00Speaker 4: It is true. It took us a long time at
- 38:02Speaker 4: Ben and Ronnie's. You were telling me a story that
- 38:06Speaker 4: could have happened in over the course of two minutes. Yes,
- 38:09Speaker 4: I feel like it was forty minutes. By the time
- 38:12Speaker 4: we finished our card, I.
- 38:13Speaker 1: Kept saying, I'm just trying to finish my story. I'm
- 38:15Speaker 1: just trying to finish my story's losing its umph when
- 38:18Speaker 1: you have to break it into twelve parts.
- 38:20Speaker 4: Yeah, but to see that's my acting. See how like
- 38:22Speaker 4: the second somebody would walk away one of your fans
- 38:25Speaker 4: or one of the listeners of Jeff Show, I was
- 38:28Speaker 4: right back in with you.
- 38:29Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, you're like and go, yeah, but you did
- 38:33Speaker 1: buy me a drink, so I appreciate that I did.
- 38:35Speaker 4: That was awfully generous. I don't you know. I was
- 38:38Speaker 4: very generous over a Bravo Com weekend. I treated Michael
- 38:42Speaker 4: Beck to a roast chicken lunch at the Four Seasons.
- 38:45Speaker 1: Wow.
- 38:46Speaker 4: His roast chicken was thirty six seventy five. I bought
- 38:50Speaker 4: you and that other gal nott Ingrid who was.
- 38:52Speaker 1: It was Kristin It was my social media Yeah, I
- 38:54Speaker 1: got her.
- 38:55Speaker 4: I got you guys around, and I paid for aner
- 39:00Speaker 4: before Amy Phillips show at the hard Rock Cafe. Wow.
- 39:08Speaker 1: Wow, look at you down.
- 39:11Speaker 4: So I'm likely to be so generous down a.
- 39:13Speaker 1: Couple of hundred bucks. Yeah, listen, did you again this
- 39:18Speaker 1: year buy your own tickets or did you get to
- 39:20Speaker 1: this this year?
- 39:21Speaker 4: No. I bought my own VIP wristband for Friday and
- 39:26Speaker 4: for Saturday, nothing for Sunday. And then, I mean, I
- 39:31Speaker 4: really it was so generous. Jeff Lewis added me on
- 39:35Speaker 4: his list for a backstage and that that was, you know,
- 39:41Speaker 4: really amazing to be able to just run backstage see
- 39:44Speaker 4: what was going on and then come back out and
- 39:46Speaker 4: sit for all the panels and stuff. But yeah, that's nice.
- 39:49Speaker 1: Yeah, well me too.
- 39:51Speaker 3: But yeah, I've had on to chat.
- 39:55Speaker 1: I've had on a fellow radio andy Rachel Smith has
- 40:01Speaker 1: been on.
- 40:01Speaker 3: To discuss Smith's sisters.
- 40:04Speaker 1: Love them so much, I adore them.
- 40:08Speaker 4: I only saw Lauren. I think it was on Friday
- 40:13Speaker 4: evening in the in the bizarre area. I'm bizarre and
- 40:18Speaker 4: not bizarre, and I am just I am so fond
- 40:22Speaker 4: of of all three Smith's sisters and Brooke, you know,
- 40:25Speaker 4: Lauren's wife who I who was there? Who was there
- 40:27Speaker 4: this past weekend too.
- 40:29Speaker 1: Well, I I happened to just like walk past them.
- 40:32Speaker 1: I've had Mariah on my show before and I just
- 40:35Speaker 1: happened to walk past him and I saw them and
- 40:37Speaker 1: I just did like a little do do like walk backers.
- 40:40Speaker 1: I was a Hi sisters and they're like sister so
- 40:44Speaker 1: and then Rachel came on to discuss her Bravo con
- 40:47Speaker 1: as well, which was like getting everybody's different take is interesting,
- 40:53Speaker 1: right because your take will be different because you got
- 40:55Speaker 1: a backstage where I talked to Gibson and he was
- 40:58Speaker 1: press and my friend Ace was also pressed, and then
- 41:01Speaker 1: Mandy and I are just podcasters that attended as podcasters.
- 41:05Speaker 1: So it's been really interesting talking to everybody getting their thing. Now.
- 41:09Speaker 1: I would like to hear your best Bravo leb encounter
- 41:14Speaker 1: and this should I know that you get to know
- 41:16Speaker 1: a lot of them, so I'd like to know maybe
- 41:19Speaker 1: one that you hadn't met before.
- 41:21Speaker 4: Well, uh, you know it's for me. It started on
- 41:24Speaker 4: the plane. Oh my god, yes, sweet, yeah, it was
- 41:29Speaker 4: on my plane.
- 41:30Speaker 1: You sent me a picture of one of the people
- 41:31Speaker 1: on your plane.
- 41:32Speaker 4: And I walked in. The first person I saw was
- 41:35Speaker 4: Teddy Mellencamp, who I'd never met before, and but she
- 41:41Speaker 4: definitely you know, because I don't I get nervous because
- 41:44Speaker 4: I tend to fan girl a little bit, and I
- 41:47Speaker 4: was like, just like cool, play cool, So it just
- 41:49Speaker 4: was like just standing there she smiled and sort of
- 41:53Speaker 4: beckoned for me. So then I was like, okay, I'm
- 41:56Speaker 4: in over, and I introduced myself and she, you know,
- 42:00Speaker 4: like although we had never met, she's come on Jeff
- 42:03Speaker 4: Show a few times, and obviously Tamera I know very well,
- 42:06Speaker 4: so she knew who I was and we just were
- 42:08Speaker 4: chatting and she's very friendly. And then while we were
- 42:13Speaker 4: sitting there, this woman with like ten shopping bags and
- 42:17Speaker 4: this weird glitter in her hair showed up and Teddy
- 42:21Speaker 4: was like, is that Kathy Hilton? And sure enough Kathy
- 42:24Speaker 4: Hilton was on the flight, but she didn't come sit
- 42:27Speaker 4: with us. But then Denise Richards walked in and she
- 42:31Speaker 4: was on our flight, and then Tom Schwartz, Brittany Artwright,
- 42:37Speaker 4: Kristin Dotye baby and husband. And then it turns out
- 42:43Speaker 4: with her baby somebody from else from the Valley. I
- 42:47Speaker 4: haven't seen that show yet, so somebody some guy maybe
- 42:50Speaker 4: is there somebody whose name BECAMESE of the letter J.
- 42:53Speaker 3: There's Jesse.
- 42:55Speaker 4: Jesse maybe so maybe Jesse. So that that was like
- 43:01Speaker 4: going to Vegas and Denise I feel very comfortable with
- 43:05Speaker 4: because I've done Jeff Show with her for a few times.
- 43:07Speaker 4: And she sat next to me, and so we chatted
- 43:10Speaker 4: for a little bit and I was like, okay. So
- 43:12Speaker 4: then I got to my hotel and for this backstage pass,
- 43:16Speaker 4: you had to go to the Four Seasons like their
- 43:19Speaker 4: hospitality room to pick it up at four pm. So
- 43:24Speaker 4: I got to the Four Seasons and in the bar,
- 43:30Speaker 4: everybody was there like having their lunch. It was now
- 43:33Speaker 4: probably four o'clock, maybe three point thirty, so every like
- 43:37Speaker 4: there's Vicky Gunfilson, and I know Vicky obviously very well,
- 43:41Speaker 4: so I'm like, yeah, Vicky. And then there was this
- 43:43Speaker 4: really nice group of gals from who were there for
- 43:45Speaker 4: a pharmaceutical convention, and they had like the couch in
- 43:50Speaker 4: the center, and even though it was only supposed to
- 43:52Speaker 4: be for I guess Four Seasons guests, they were like,
- 43:55Speaker 4: we are not moving. So I sat with they treated
- 43:58Speaker 4: me to a diet coke, Thank you Chill for that.
- 44:02Speaker 4: And then I saw Michael Beck and so like all
- 44:04Speaker 4: these people were there and so that was also thrilling.
- 44:07Speaker 4: Then I went to the hospitality room and who is
- 44:09Speaker 4: online behind me but Heather Gay, whom I've never met,
- 44:14Speaker 4: and so I had her go in front. I was like,
- 44:17Speaker 4: you're a little more important than me, so she went first.
- 44:19Speaker 4: But she and I chatted and she was very cool
- 44:22Speaker 4: and gracious and fun, and we talked about being inline
- 44:28Speaker 4: versus being online because that's a New Yorker I guess
- 44:32Speaker 4: I grew up and so we were just like, that's
- 44:33Speaker 4: what we were chatting about. So I was already by
- 44:37Speaker 4: the time I just got my backstage thing and then
- 44:40Speaker 4: went to Amy Phillips show. I felt like I had
- 44:44Speaker 4: already seen enough, you know, So it was that was amazing.
- 44:50Speaker 4: And then throughout the weekend I met, you know, I
- 44:53Speaker 4: met a lot of people. Katie, Jeanette, Janella GM who
- 45:01Speaker 4: was absolutely stunning. She introduced herself to me, and I
- 45:08Speaker 4: saw a Fraser. I mean I really I saw everybody,
- 45:11Speaker 4: and Jennifer Pedronti and Ryan I saw them backstage and
- 45:16Speaker 4: we chatted. We had had a really, really fun dinner
- 45:18Speaker 4: once in New York, and it was a highlight for
- 45:23Speaker 4: me to meet Melissa and Joe Gorga. I signed up
- 45:26Speaker 4: for a photo op with them. I bought Melissa's Sprinkle cookies,
- 45:30Speaker 4: but I had never met her, and she and Joe
- 45:32Speaker 4: have done Jeff Show a few times.
- 45:33Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, yeah, I never met them. How are the
- 45:37Speaker 3: Sprinkle cookies sidebar.
- 45:38Speaker 4: Her sprinkle cookies are legit delicious.
- 45:42Speaker 1: Okay, they were.
- 45:43Speaker 4: Shipped across country. I paid, you know, I used code
- 45:45Speaker 4: Jeff or whatever it was. They came like five days later.
- 45:49Speaker 4: They were legitimately delicious cookies, highly recommend.
- 45:53Speaker 1: Okay, all right, they were.
- 45:55Speaker 4: But they were friendly and fun and cool. And then
- 45:58Speaker 4: I saw Delares and Polly and I had signed up
- 46:01Speaker 4: for a photo op with them, and I saw them
- 46:03Speaker 4: like backstage also and just I get the warmest feelings
- 46:06Speaker 4: from them.
- 46:07Speaker 1: Truly, Lauris, everybody has the most amazing things to say
- 46:11Speaker 1: about Dolores always.
- 46:12Speaker 4: I agree. I was saying that too, I think to
- 46:15Speaker 4: Shane Douglas this morning, like or it was to Ryan Bailey.
- 46:18Speaker 4: I saw Ryan, Ryan, did everybody has that story about Dolores,
- 46:23Speaker 4: that they have this special feeling and the special relationship.
- 46:27Speaker 4: And isn't that just the greatest testament to her that
- 46:31Speaker 4: everybody you meet who has met Dolores pops out saying
- 46:35Speaker 4: what an incredible person she is. I truly can't say
- 46:39Speaker 4: enough about how great she makes me feel.
- 46:42Speaker 1: Yeah, okay, now, did you sit at any panels besides,
- 46:49Speaker 1: like if you were going to see like what Jeff
- 46:50Speaker 1: was doing. Did you sit on any panels?
- 46:52Speaker 2: Oh?
- 46:52Speaker 4: Yeah, we went to We went to the Valley panel
- 46:57Speaker 4: yet the very first one.
- 46:58Speaker 3: Yeah, I went to the Valley I think I was
- 47:00Speaker 3: texting you are you here?
- 47:01Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 47:01Speaker 4: Yeah, I was there. I was at the Valley panel.
- 47:04Speaker 4: I went to all three panels that Jeff did. We
- 47:07Speaker 4: went to part of a below deck, which there was
- 47:10Speaker 4: one that we had to leave early for our photo op.
- 47:12Speaker 4: And now I can't remember which one it was. It
- 47:15Speaker 4: wasn't Salt Lake City, wasn't. I went to probably five.
- 47:20Speaker 3: Panels though, Oh really, see, I just went to a few.
- 47:23Speaker 1: And it's sort of like in the moment if you're
- 47:25Speaker 1: doing something else, you're like, oh, you got to leave
- 47:27Speaker 1: go this panel. You don't really want to. I went
- 47:29Speaker 1: to the Southern Charm panel, which is kind of interesting
- 47:33Speaker 1: because you could really tell, and I don't know if
- 47:35Speaker 1: you've ever watched Southern Charm.
- 47:36Speaker 4: But you could sort of out at the beginning.
- 47:38Speaker 1: Yeah, So you could really tell between Craig and Austin
- 47:43Speaker 1: that there's really no good feelings there. You could really
- 47:46Speaker 1: tell that it was very tense. Something has happened between
- 47:49Speaker 1: the two of them, and you know, wouldn't be a
- 47:51Speaker 1: Bravo gone if we didn't have a drunk shep story,
- 47:54Speaker 1: So you know those came out.
- 47:55Speaker 4: You know that video of him talking just I don't
- 48:01Speaker 4: know who was he talking to.
- 48:02Speaker 1: About my understanding for my Finn Mandy was that in
- 48:07Speaker 1: the video with him was another a guy that was
- 48:10Speaker 1: from Southern Hospitality, which I haven't watched, and he was
- 48:13Speaker 1: sort of kind of like okay, like he was just
- 48:16Speaker 1: talking to some listeners or watchers, viewers, yeah, strangers, just
- 48:22Speaker 1: some Bravo fans. And that's what he did two years
- 48:24Speaker 1: ago where he got in so much trouble. He was
- 48:26Speaker 1: his mouth and off and being very aggressive towards strangers. Now,
- 48:30Speaker 1: I had a twenty twenty two interaction with him a
- 48:34Speaker 1: Bravo con in New York where he basically, you know,
- 48:36Speaker 1: felt me up.
- 48:38Speaker 3: He was like all over me.
- 48:41Speaker 1: Yeah, really, not because he was like trying to pick
- 48:43Speaker 1: me up, just because I was. He was like kind
- 48:45Speaker 1: of passed out in a booth and he had a
- 48:48Speaker 1: friend that was trying to like get him up, and
- 48:49Speaker 1: he's really big to be passed out in a booth and.
- 48:52Speaker 4: All those Southern trauma Craig Austin, Yeah, when you walk
- 48:57Speaker 4: into the room you see them first because they are
- 49:00Speaker 4: a full head.
- 49:01Speaker 1: They're tall with everybody else and these girls at the bar,
- 49:05Speaker 1: we're saying, oh, I'm kind of dying to be eat
- 49:08Speaker 1: chuffels like that guy that's like slovenly passed out in
- 49:11Speaker 1: a booth. But all right, I go, I'll go over there.
- 49:14Speaker 1: So you know, I went over. These are like young girls.
- 49:16Speaker 1: So I walked over. It was like, hello, excuse me,
- 49:18Speaker 1: these girls when and then I and then I just
- 49:21Speaker 1: started talking to him about a shared love for Baldhead
- 49:25Speaker 1: Island in North Carolina where we have a house, and
- 49:28Speaker 1: he's friends with the guy that owns a store there,
- 49:30Speaker 1: and so it's kind of just like, okay, well it's
- 49:32Speaker 1: nice to meet you, just get a you know, picture whatever.
- 49:35Speaker 1: But he went full in like arms around me like
- 49:38Speaker 1: all I mean, the pictures I have are not cute
- 49:42Speaker 1: because it's me going like you know, of course, So
- 49:46Speaker 1: I think he gets a talking to every Bravo con
- 49:48Speaker 1: and I think.
- 49:49Speaker 3: He shapes up for a little bit.
- 49:51Speaker 1: But then you say, what a shame, Well it is.
- 49:55Speaker 4: It's just a shame. Like you know, you want everybody,
- 49:58Speaker 4: you just want everybody to have an amazing experience. And
- 50:01Speaker 4: so if he made it uncomfortable for anybody else or
- 50:05Speaker 4: even just for him, like if you're at a point
- 50:07Speaker 4: where you know, last time he had to be escorted
- 50:10Speaker 4: out or whatever. Just yeah, I think he was drunk
- 50:13Speaker 4: or something. It's like, you know, I'm also much older,
- 50:16Speaker 4: and so I feel like at my age, just you know,
- 50:19Speaker 4: you don't you don't want to be associated with that.
- 50:22Speaker 1: Yes, agree, And that's probably too, probably like younger people
- 50:25Speaker 1: like it's fun. I'm like, he is in his forties,
- 50:28Speaker 1: you know, he's.
- 50:28Speaker 4: Not like that young, but even forties.
- 50:32Speaker 1: Yeah, well to me too. You know, well, did you
- 50:36Speaker 1: have any interactions that were uncomfortable or did you witness
- 50:40Speaker 1: anything that you found was like unsavory or.
- 50:46Speaker 4: Other than Jeff's paddles. No, I don't think so. I
- 50:49Speaker 4: think I had just a an enchanted weekend. I was
- 50:54Speaker 4: with a really really good friend of mine that I
- 50:56Speaker 4: don't get to see in person very often. Yeah, and
- 51:00Speaker 4: we just we had the best time. I mean we
- 51:04Speaker 4: did go off campus to go to the Wizard of
- 51:06Speaker 4: Oz at the Sphere.
- 51:08Speaker 1: Yeah, how was that?
- 51:08Speaker 3: Because I wanted to go but nobody would go and.
- 51:10Speaker 4: See it was great. I mean it's different from seeing
- 51:14Speaker 4: the Wizard of Oz, like, you know, they y cted it.
- 51:17Speaker 4: The whole thing is seventy five minutes, and they've added
- 51:20Speaker 4: a lot of extra stuff to the tornado. And you know,
- 51:24Speaker 4: these apples drop from the ceiling when when the apple
- 51:28Speaker 4: trees are throwing apples at Dorothy and Gang, these foam
- 51:32Speaker 4: kind of little apples. The woman next to me got
- 51:34Speaker 4: two of them, and then somebody told me that those
- 51:37Speaker 4: cell but like one hundred and fifty bucks each. Now
- 51:40Speaker 4: I really should have pulled one out of her hand.
- 51:43Speaker 4: But it was a it was a great experience and
- 51:46Speaker 4: from Bravo Coon you could just walk unfortunately pouring and
- 51:51Speaker 4: so we were absolutely soaking wet by the time we
- 51:55Speaker 4: got there. But you know, yeah, for me, there was
- 51:58Speaker 4: no no what did they say, a thorn, rose and thorn,
- 52:01Speaker 4: they were no. Yeah, I everything, And I thought that
- 52:06Speaker 4: the staff, like the people who were working at Bravo Con,
- 52:11Speaker 4: everybody was friendly. Everybody was just like in a good mood.
- 52:16Speaker 4: So I didn't have a single, a single negative experience.
- 52:21Speaker 1: Well, you probably didn't buy any of the Bravo Palooza's
- 52:25Speaker 1: the little small rooms where you can go in and you.
- 52:27Speaker 4: Have I didn't have. I didn't buy any add ons,
- 52:30Speaker 4: like you know, I was spending enough money.
- 52:32Speaker 1: I thought, oh yeah, it's a lot. Well, last two
- 52:35Speaker 1: years ago we had a Bravo Palooza every day, and
- 52:39Speaker 1: this year we just got the one and that was fine,
- 52:42Speaker 1: but it is nice.
- 52:45Speaker 4: Who was in yours?
- 52:46Speaker 1: So I had Sudden and Marisol and Alexia, two summer
- 52:52Speaker 1: house guys that I didn't know. And now I don't
- 52:55Speaker 1: watch Mary de Meat. I mean I used to, but
- 52:57Speaker 1: I haven't watched it in years. But doctor Contessa and
- 53:00Speaker 1: her husband were in there and we didn't know.
- 53:02Speaker 3: Who they were.
- 53:03Speaker 1: They were literally just sort of sitting hanging out by us,
- 53:06Speaker 1: so we become like buddies with them. Took a picture
- 53:09Speaker 1: they couldn't have I mean, like, I was like, I've
- 53:10Speaker 1: ever want somebody on. I think she would definitely remember
- 53:13Speaker 1: because she was like showing me a picture like, I'm
- 53:15Speaker 1: such a change stresses. Do you think I should change
- 53:17Speaker 1: her eye panel?
- 53:17Speaker 3: Should I wear this? Should I keep this on? I
- 53:19Speaker 3: was like, well a lot.
- 53:20Speaker 1: Of people have a picture with you in this, maybe
- 53:22Speaker 1: you should change and they were they were great.
- 53:25Speaker 4: Are you just because I actually don't know anything about
- 53:28Speaker 4: the Bravo paloozas that's so that's like a separate room. Yeah,
- 53:32Speaker 4: the IP lounge, it was in its own space.
- 53:35Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 53:35Speaker 4: And were you just is it just like a small cocktail.
- 53:38Speaker 1: Party, yes, because they give you two drink tickets when
- 53:41Speaker 1: you walk in, and they have passed apps the whole time. Okay,
- 53:44Speaker 1: And the Bramo celebrities, they do have these little like
- 53:47Speaker 1: many step in repeats that they're kind of just a
- 53:49Speaker 1: step on and then you line up ish. But like
- 53:52Speaker 1: also Jesse from The Valley was mingling around and then
- 53:57Speaker 1: they sort of and then Brianna not Brianna, Brielle Bierman
- 54:01Speaker 1: and Gia Judice were in there, and they were they
- 54:04Speaker 1: did the little step and repeat for a bit, but
- 54:06Speaker 1: then they just sort of mingled around. Lisa Barlow came in,
- 54:11Speaker 1: she wasn't mingling, and but Marisol came in and just
- 54:15Speaker 1: went directly to a corner and sat in a chair
- 54:17Speaker 1: and she was not to be bothered to stand on
- 54:22Speaker 1: a step and repeat or mingle. So I went right
- 54:24Speaker 1: over because Marisol is probably one of my favorite housewives
- 54:28Speaker 1: of all time. And when she walked in, ingers like
- 54:31Speaker 1: it's happening, your favorite is here? I was like what,
- 54:33Speaker 1: So I just went over.
- 54:34Speaker 4: Instead, you know before is that true?
- 54:37Speaker 1: You don't know, you don't know. It could be a
- 54:39Speaker 1: room full of people you've never heard of, but generally
- 54:42Speaker 1: from our experience last year, we knew it would be
- 54:44Speaker 1: a good mix of housewives married to med below deck,
- 54:48Speaker 1: a southern charm, you know, summer house show. So some
- 54:51Speaker 1: shows you watch with some shows you don't. But you're
- 54:53Speaker 1: going to get a few housewives, you know.
- 54:55Speaker 4: So when you're buying sorry, when you're buying your Bravo Bluza,
- 54:58Speaker 4: you're choosing based when.
- 55:00Speaker 1: It is versus Okay, Yeah, you have no idea who,
- 55:04Speaker 1: no idea who, And it is a very small room
- 55:07Speaker 1: and so I think they only have maybe the whole
- 55:10Speaker 1: room is probably like one hundred people total.
- 55:12Speaker 4: Yeah ratio.
- 55:14Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean you could get to the bar, you
- 55:15Speaker 1: can get your drinks and then they don't take your
- 55:17Speaker 1: drink sick because you could get six drinks if you want.
- 55:19Speaker 1: But it's only an hour to.
- 55:20Speaker 4: Fifteen minutes an hour fifteen.
- 55:23Speaker 1: So in that room we felt two years ago it
- 55:26Speaker 1: was extremely unorganized and people didn't know where to stand.
- 55:30Speaker 1: And then people are getting mad and it's like you're
- 55:32Speaker 1: a small room like that and people are getting tense
- 55:34Speaker 1: because they want this picture whatever. This year was way
- 55:36Speaker 1: more organized, and there was this one guy staff that
- 55:40Speaker 1: was running around that looked like his hair was on fire,
- 55:43Speaker 1: I mean, and so kind of. I said at the end,
- 55:45Speaker 1: Ingrid and I said, we're concerned.
- 55:48Speaker 3: Are you okay?
- 55:49Speaker 1: Like you we don't your blood freshure's got to be
- 55:51Speaker 1: very high, Like we're concerned. He's like what. So he
- 55:53Speaker 1: ended up talking to him and he was so great,
- 55:56Speaker 1: and he said, the thing about these events is they
- 55:59Speaker 1: can at the last minute decide not to come. They
- 56:03Speaker 1: can say I'm hungover, I'm tired, and they don't have
- 56:06Speaker 1: to come, so we're I think that the goal is
- 56:08Speaker 1: to have you know, ten Bravo lebs in there, and
- 56:11Speaker 1: there's two rooms, there's Diamonds and Rose and they sort
- 56:14Speaker 1: of rotate them in and out, so like Lisa Barlow
- 56:17Speaker 1: wasn't in our room the whole time, and neither Sutton
- 56:20Speaker 1: or Marisol were not in our room the whole time,
- 56:22Speaker 1: so they rotate them. So I think that if they
- 56:25Speaker 1: don't have enough people to rotate, then that was making
- 56:28Speaker 1: him stressed because he was trying to explain it to us.
- 56:32Speaker 1: But I was like, well, you're doing a great job.
- 56:33Speaker 1: I was like, we did do this two years ago.
- 56:35Speaker 1: Well this is way more organized, and he was very
- 56:37Speaker 1: happy to hear our feedback. But yeah, they passed around
- 56:42Speaker 1: delicious apps, way better than the vip lounge, which doesn't
- 56:45Speaker 1: pass around as many apps as they pretend to.
- 56:47Speaker 4: I was. I was offered one app in that vip
- 56:51Speaker 4: lounge which was like a shrimp something shooter, and I thought.
- 56:56Speaker 1: I had one like veggie spring roll, and I had
- 56:59Speaker 1: one little polenta with a short rib on top that
- 57:02Speaker 1: was delicious read.
- 57:04Speaker 4: I just thought of my my thorn.
- 57:06Speaker 1: Okay, diet PEPSI agree.
- 57:12Speaker 4: Not for me. That was the biggest thorn of the
- 57:16Speaker 4: whole weekend was that I couldn't get a diet coke
- 57:18Speaker 4: at any of the Caesars Proper or Paris or whatever.
- 57:24Speaker 1: Yeah, it was.
- 57:26Speaker 4: Horrendous for me.
- 57:28Speaker 3: I agree.
- 57:28Speaker 1: Every time you go and like can I get a
- 57:30Speaker 1: diet coke? And then you when they start to go
- 57:32Speaker 1: is diet You're gonna Nope?
- 57:35Speaker 4: Is not okay? A lot of them no, because I
- 57:38Speaker 4: would I would say, like I remember the first time
- 57:40Speaker 4: at Caesars and then the first time at Paris because
- 57:42Speaker 4: I didn't realize that they were owned by the same Yeah,
- 57:45Speaker 4: and she goes it's diet.
- 57:47Speaker 3: And you're like, I'll take a.
- 57:49Speaker 4: Tea when I said, or sparkling water. Yeah, but the
- 57:54Speaker 4: four seasons had diet.
- 57:56Speaker 1: Coke, of course it did. Did any have died Doctor
- 58:00Speaker 1: Pepper because that's my favorite?
- 58:02Speaker 4: Oh no, but you know I have that in my fridge.
- 58:05Speaker 1: It's so good.
- 58:06Speaker 4: And you come to my house, Mary Payne, I give
- 58:10Speaker 4: you your choice of still or sparkling water, okay, and
- 58:14Speaker 4: then I have those mini cans diet coke or ginger
- 58:19Speaker 4: Ale or die Dr Pepper.
- 58:23Speaker 1: I mean, what is Sophie's choice.
- 58:24Speaker 3: There's so many good choices. What I choose?
- 58:27Speaker 1: You know, I was in La. I was in LA
- 58:28Speaker 1: for three days before before Bravo con.
- 58:32Speaker 4: Hey, you said you went to Vegas from La.
- 58:35Speaker 3: Yeah, I did.
- 58:36Speaker 1: We flew in and I went to I recorded with
- 58:40Speaker 1: Heather at her house McDonald and then I also went
- 58:44Speaker 1: out to the OC and saw two friends of Kate Casey,
- 58:48Speaker 1: another podcaster, and Kimberly Yeah. And then Kimberly from a
- 58:51Speaker 1: Date with Dayline also lives out in the ocs. I've
- 58:54Speaker 1: never been to the OC, so I was like, let's
- 58:56Speaker 1: go see what's happening out there. We took a picture
- 58:59Speaker 1: in front of the woman.
- 59:01Speaker 4: But of course.
- 59:03Speaker 3: I asked Kate.
- 59:04Speaker 1: I was like, will you go inside and lick the
- 59:05Speaker 1: window and let me take a picture and she said no.
- 59:10Speaker 1: I was like, I pretend. She's like, do not do it?
- 59:13Speaker 1: But I had urban to the OC. Wow, what a
- 59:15Speaker 1: way to live there in the OC. Huh.
- 59:17Speaker 4: Yeah, there's a lot of towns in the O C
- 59:20Speaker 4: like it's.
- 59:21Speaker 1: It's We were in Newport.
- 59:22Speaker 4: Oh, it's beautiful. I had only recently, maybe two years ago,
- 59:26Speaker 4: with Monica Casey, walked around the actual town of Newport
- 59:32Speaker 4: and it was beautiful.
- 59:34Speaker 1: It's beautiful. Yeah, And my friend Kimberly actually is from
- 59:38Speaker 1: Dana Point, which I guess is more south. But she
- 59:41Speaker 1: came up and we got.
- 59:42Speaker 3: I got to go to Kate Casey's house and see
- 59:44Speaker 3: all five of her kids.
- 59:45Speaker 4: Oh my god, she has my cheese. I think that's right, kay, Casey,
- 59:51Speaker 4: she has my cheese because she's she's we've talked about
- 59:54Speaker 4: cooking kibbets before. Okay, She's like, yeah, I don't eat cheese.
- 59:57Speaker 4: I was like, I can't.
- 59:59Speaker 1: I don't understand that. But that's okay. To each his
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: own maybe that's why she's like, then, I don't know.
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: We got to I got to hang out with Ryan
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: quite a bit. Did you guys, Did you guys do
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: Jeff from there?
- 1:00:14Speaker 4: I didn't Jeff, Jeff didn't know. Ryan didn't do it either.
- 1:00:18Speaker 4: Jeff did did one show on Friday, well, you know,
- 1:00:21Speaker 4: two hours. The second hour was Lisa Barlow. The first
- 1:00:27Speaker 4: hour was also was Two Housewives with Marisol.
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: And Alexia amazing.
- 1:00:35Speaker 4: That was the first hour, and the second hour was
- 1:00:36Speaker 4: Lisa Barlow. Most Serious has an actual studio at the
- 1:00:41Speaker 4: Win Hotel.
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: Wow.
- 1:00:43Speaker 4: Radio Andy and I remember last Bravo Con, Radio Andy
- 1:00:47Speaker 4: had zero integration. They just they weren't. They didn't take
- 1:00:51Speaker 4: any part of it. This year, Radio Andy set up
- 1:00:56Speaker 4: a full day of live programming and so Julia Cunningham
- 1:01:00Speaker 4: was there, she did her show. I'm assuming Kiki did
- 1:01:05Speaker 4: Reality Check, but maybe not. But the Smith sisters were
- 1:01:08Speaker 4: live and so all the Radio Andy hosts were able
- 1:01:11Speaker 4: to do a show out of the wind studio. And
- 1:01:14Speaker 4: then Jamison was there to help produce, and I forget
- 1:01:18Speaker 4: who else went from radio and I know Lisa from
- 1:01:21Speaker 4: New York was there, you know, shoot the Boss and
- 1:01:24Speaker 4: then you know they were also able to do and
- 1:01:28Speaker 4: Andy was able. Oh no, Andy didn't go live. He
- 1:01:30Speaker 4: didn't do Andy Cohen live. But they were able to
- 1:01:33Speaker 4: be on the Red Carpet in that media room and
- 1:01:36Speaker 4: have tons of interviews, so they were able to put
- 1:01:40Speaker 4: together like full programming, you know, from the Red Carpet
- 1:01:44Speaker 4: in addition to having the shows on Radio Andy. So
- 1:01:48Speaker 4: I thought it was great that they were there.
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: Poor Jamison, he's just work, work, work, and I saw
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: him he looked tired.
- 1:01:53Speaker 4: Yeah, he he works a lot. And he was in
- 1:01:56Speaker 4: that media room, you know, he was interviewed people, but
- 1:02:00Speaker 4: also he has to cut together all those things, and
- 1:02:03Speaker 4: they were it was like a short staff, so that
- 1:02:05Speaker 4: he just was super busy. And he was staying at
- 1:02:09Speaker 4: the Venetian, which had no.
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: Water on Somebody told me that that they didn't have water.
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: So like I'm trying to like wash my hair to
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: come to Bravo con. I could even barely brush my
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: teeth on Friday.
- 1:02:19Speaker 4: Yeah, the water got shut off at six twenty two am,
- 1:02:22Speaker 4: I think, and it didn't come on until four thirty pm.
- 1:02:26Speaker 4: So I think today on the radio, Jamison was saying
- 1:02:30Speaker 4: like he was like, well, I have to go to
- 1:02:32Speaker 4: the bath so he he was like, I'm not waiting
- 1:02:34Speaker 4: for everybody to go over to the wind together, like
- 1:02:36Speaker 4: I'm going now, Yeah.
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: He had you can't blush the toilet? Oh my god?
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: What there?
- 1:02:43Speaker 4: Because I was at Caesars, which is, you know, close
- 1:02:46Speaker 4: enough to Yeah, Bravo Con was, and I said, like,
- 1:02:50Speaker 4: you know, if you need just call, you know, let
- 1:02:52Speaker 4: me know, text me, I'll walk over to the hotel
- 1:02:54Speaker 4: with you. But he was fine because obviously they had facilities,
- 1:02:57Speaker 4: you know, at Bravo Con. So he was fine.
- 1:02:59Speaker 1: Oh my gosh, James in his bathroom. Oh well, anybody's
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: saying at the Venetian that's crazy and a lot.
- 1:03:06Speaker 4: Of people do, I mean, well beyond just Provo Con
- 1:03:09Speaker 4: obviously the Venetian has thousands of rooms.
- 1:03:11Speaker 3: So yeah, ooh, that's kind of a nightmare for a
- 1:03:14Speaker 3: Vegas hotel.
- 1:03:15Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: That rain was crazy too, you guys, you don't understand,
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: like it doesn't rain in Vegas and it rained four
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: at that time, it rained for two days straight. So
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: you know, Ryan and I had our event together and
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: it was a very low turnout, and I was I
- 1:03:28Speaker 1: just said, anybody, like I could understand you had to
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: walk from all the way down there, down to hard Rock,
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: which is close to the MGM. Grand I was like,
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: it's like, you know, almost a mile in the I
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: mean sheets of rain, streets flooded situation.
- 1:03:41Speaker 4: Not only because of that, like, yes, all the streets
- 1:03:45Speaker 4: were flooded, getting around was a disaster. On top of
- 1:03:49Speaker 4: that because of the f one, which is I think, yeah,
- 1:03:53Speaker 4: a lot of the roads are and entrance ways are closed.
- 1:03:57Speaker 4: Even just getting across the street is. And then on
- 1:04:01Speaker 4: top of that, you had a lot of people, including
- 1:04:03Speaker 4: my friend George, whose flights had been canceled. Right, So
- 1:04:07Speaker 4: Georgia's flight into Vegas was canceled and his flight out
- 1:04:10Speaker 4: of Vegas was canceled, so instead of flying home on Sunday,
- 1:04:14Speaker 4: he had to fly Saturday night. He was supposed to
- 1:04:17Speaker 4: be with me on Saturday night at Ben and Ronnie's. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:04:21Speaker 4: I saw you, but he had to get to the
- 1:04:23Speaker 4: airport to fly home otherwise, you know, because he was
- 1:04:26Speaker 4: flying back east. You lose a whole day when you're flying,
- 1:04:29Speaker 4: and so he couldn't wait until Sunday night or Monday.
- 1:04:33Speaker 4: So I think the turnout was because of this motion
- 1:04:36Speaker 4: at my front door. The turnout is because there's I
- 1:04:40Speaker 4: think all of those things made it impossible.
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: For it impossible. It was forty minutes for us to
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: get from Paris down to hard Rock Cafe, and it's career.
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: I see him. Yeah, it was only point nine miles.
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: But you know, I was trying to like, look cute,
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: I want, trying to be like a drowned rat from
- 1:04:56Speaker 1: my own.
- 1:04:56Speaker 4: Event when happened.
- 1:05:00Speaker 3: But OK, but we both saw Amy Phillips show, which
- 1:05:04Speaker 3: was great.
- 1:05:05Speaker 4: You went Saturday, No, you Wenturday Thursday.
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: I would encourage anybody ever if Amy Phillips is in
- 1:05:12Speaker 1: your town, is she does a cabare Amy. It's so
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: she's so, so.
- 1:05:18Speaker 3: So creative. You know, I'm always oppressing people.
- 1:05:21Speaker 4: I was talking with her on the phone, like, you know,
- 1:05:23Speaker 4: she is one of the greatest performers, you know, all
- 1:05:27Speaker 4: of the improvin all of her acting and just you know,
- 1:05:31Speaker 4: it's it is such an incredible skill and she is
- 1:05:34Speaker 4: so gifted. And I you know, I know people say
- 1:05:38Speaker 4: like I'd watched somebody read the phone Book, like I
- 1:05:40Speaker 4: get it. With Amy, I just yeah, whatever she whatever
- 1:05:44Speaker 4: she tries to do, is going to work.
- 1:05:47Speaker 3: She came last Oh god, I guess this year.
- 1:05:51Speaker 1: I can't even like, we did a podcast movement and
- 1:05:54Speaker 1: I was on a panel, and so I invited her
- 1:05:56Speaker 1: to come to the panel because the panel that we
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: usually do has a lot of reality TV podcasters, Like,
- 1:06:01Speaker 1: let's get a Bravo person, let me see if Amy
- 1:06:03Speaker 1: wants to come. So she came into the panel, which
- 1:06:05Speaker 1: was so fun and so at the beginning of the panel,
- 1:06:10Speaker 1: and you know, they say, just go down the line
- 1:06:12Speaker 1: and tell us about your podcast before they start the questions,
- 1:06:14Speaker 1: and you know, oh, I have a podcast.
- 1:06:16Speaker 3: You tell the thing. Amy like gets.
- 1:06:19Speaker 1: A microphone, takes her microphone and starts walking around the stage.
- 1:06:23Speaker 3: Well, let me tell you.
- 1:06:25Speaker 1: So the rest of us are like, okay, well we
- 1:06:27Speaker 1: covered t LC or pretty boring. But she's just always
- 1:06:31Speaker 1: so so funny.
- 1:06:33Speaker 3: So that's always a highlight.
- 1:06:34Speaker 1: Let me tell you my big you know, my biggest
- 1:06:36Speaker 1: highlight really is just seeing my friends. I have sony
- 1:06:39Speaker 1: pictures with my friends, you know that, Like I would
- 1:06:42Speaker 1: be somewhere, but oh I bet Doug's here, Oh I
- 1:06:45Speaker 1: bet Ryan is here, I bet Miguel is here, and
- 1:06:47Speaker 1: I'm just like looking around for my people.
- 1:06:49Speaker 4: I kept looking for you. I finally found you, and
- 1:06:52Speaker 4: so I called you, and you didn't. I watched you
- 1:06:54Speaker 4: not answer your phone. So I took a video from
- 1:06:57Speaker 4: where I was standing out of you, and I just
- 1:06:59Speaker 4: zoomed in on you. You texted it to you, just
- 1:07:02Speaker 4: to show like I can see you. You're standing about
- 1:07:05Speaker 4: thirty feet away from me. But it was so loud
- 1:07:08Speaker 4: and crazy.
- 1:07:09Speaker 1: Yes, that stage was loud. We were in line to
- 1:07:11Speaker 1: do the Traders pictures.
- 1:07:13Speaker 4: I didn't want. George wanted to do that. I got
- 1:07:16Speaker 4: uncomfortable about putting on those.
- 1:07:18Speaker 1: Robes because they touched so many other people's heads.
- 1:07:21Speaker 4: Speaking of which, tangent, Okay, did you do the Derinda
- 1:07:26Speaker 4: Instacart integration thing? Were posed in bluestone manor did you
- 1:07:34Speaker 4: do that? Okay? So George and I do that. And
- 1:07:36Speaker 4: there are these two armchairs. One had Teresa's picture, one
- 1:07:40Speaker 4: had Durnda's picture, and you sit in front of them
- 1:07:42Speaker 4: and they are like plates of desserts and you can
- 1:07:45Speaker 4: hold them up, and one is gingerbread cookies or whatever.
- 1:07:48Speaker 4: And as you're leaving, they give you a shopping bag. Yes,
- 1:07:51Speaker 4: the shopping bag had like a cookie cutter huh and
- 1:07:56Speaker 4: a box of oreo.
- 1:08:01Speaker 1: Yeah, I got I got the bag, but I did
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: did the integration Okay, well did you know me?
- 1:08:06Speaker 4: It turns out everybody who had that Oreo stuff in
- 1:08:11Speaker 4: their carry on it had to go through secondary screening
- 1:08:16Speaker 4: at the airport. People who had it in their carry on.
- 1:08:19Speaker 4: I got so many dms from people, probably thirty dms really,
- 1:08:26Speaker 4: people who said they had to get it had to
- 1:08:29Speaker 4: be screened or swabbed. And I guess there was something
- 1:08:33Speaker 4: that happened this past weekend somewhere else where. Something nefarious
- 1:08:38Speaker 4: was packed in like a gluten free baking thing, and
- 1:08:41Speaker 4: so all baked good products or whatever were flagged and
- 1:08:46Speaker 4: you had to they stopped and they had to go
- 1:08:48Speaker 4: through your bag.
- 1:08:50Speaker 1: Well, I only brought back the whisk and the spatula.
- 1:08:55Speaker 1: The other stuff in the room.
- 1:08:57Speaker 4: I gave mine away. I was like, I don't even
- 1:08:58Speaker 4: want it, So I kept the cookie cutter, but I
- 1:09:01Speaker 4: gave away the box of of pre made pre mix
- 1:09:05Speaker 4: dough whatever that was.
- 1:09:06Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, yeah, that is so funny because I left
- 1:09:08Speaker 1: it and I was, you know, packing this morning, and
- 1:09:11Speaker 1: like all the swag everywhere, like you know, from from
- 1:09:14Speaker 1: Morgage Joseph's Sore party, there was some good stuff in there.
- 1:09:17Speaker 1: I kept all that that was all like makeup stuff
- 1:09:19Speaker 1: and a can of sore and all that.
- 1:09:21Speaker 3: Yes, I kept. I got that as well.
- 1:09:24Speaker 4: The my box thing for.
- 1:09:27Speaker 1: This okay, that is from outside where the stage was
- 1:09:32Speaker 1: where the DJs were happening. You know that outside stage.
- 1:09:35Speaker 4: Oh yeah.
- 1:09:37Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 1:09:38Speaker 3: It's a It was called like.
- 1:09:41Speaker 1: Heat and fire, cold and ice something like that, and
- 1:09:44Speaker 1: you literally screenshot the QR code.
- 1:09:47Speaker 3: Of course, you had to put your.
- 1:09:48Speaker 1: Email in and then a thing would pop up and
- 1:09:51Speaker 1: you'd scratch, you know, scratch it, pretend with your finger
- 1:09:54Speaker 1: and it would me it'd be a picture of Andy
- 1:09:57Speaker 1: and you won, and you got that. There was no
- 1:09:58Speaker 1: I want to I love a trivia I wanted a
- 1:10:00Speaker 1: trivia question. I wanted to prove that I could win.
- 1:10:03Speaker 1: But there wasn't a trivia question. It was just Andy's
- 1:10:06Speaker 1: face popped up and you've got that.
- 1:10:07Speaker 4: You got okay, Well, I love that. I'm going to
- 1:10:09Speaker 4: use that. I love those bags for all my charger cables.
- 1:10:14Speaker 4: That's where I keep everything organized.
- 1:10:16Speaker 1: I like a fanny pack like that to wear crossbody
- 1:10:19Speaker 1: when I walk the dogs retreats. Even you don't have pockets,
- 1:10:23Speaker 1: they're very good. They're cross By. That's kind of a
- 1:10:26Speaker 1: tiny one for crossbody I don't know. We just go
- 1:10:27Speaker 1: around my neck. Maybe it wouldn't.
- 1:10:29Speaker 4: Last time I bought a tote bag and I feel
- 1:10:34Speaker 4: like I bought something and maybe a battery like for
- 1:10:37Speaker 4: your phone. Maybe something. This year I bought because my
- 1:10:41Speaker 4: friend's flight was canceled and he was supposed to come
- 1:10:43Speaker 4: to Amy's show. I bought some Amy Phillips swag and
- 1:10:47Speaker 4: go good my friend George's bed for when he arrived.
- 1:10:51Speaker 1: That was nice I did.
- 1:10:54Speaker 3: He was lovely.
- 1:10:55Speaker 1: We chatted a little bit because I had my twenty
- 1:10:57Speaker 1: one season branded bag for a pink shade from last year.
- 1:11:00Speaker 4: Oh that was my mother who just called, but she
- 1:11:02Speaker 4: hung up, so.
- 1:11:04Speaker 1: Maybe it was a butt dial.
- 1:11:05Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:11:06Speaker 1: Well, we were just discussing our elderly parents.
- 1:11:08Speaker 4: If my mom calls back the way, I do have
- 1:11:10Speaker 4: to answer.
- 1:11:11Speaker 1: Okay, I understand. She is eighty nine years old.
- 1:11:14Speaker 4: She is my mother.
- 1:11:15Speaker 1: She is your mother, as we say in the South,
- 1:11:18Speaker 1: your mother. Well, Doug, if you don't have anything negative
- 1:11:21Speaker 1: to tell me, then.
- 1:11:24Speaker 4: You know that it's difficult for me to the only
- 1:11:26Speaker 4: negative thing was to die coke. I think that was it.
- 1:11:29Speaker 4: That's a big one, even you know, like when I
- 1:11:32Speaker 4: checked out, they charged me fifty nine dollars ninety cents
- 1:11:34Speaker 4: for the mini bar. But I didn't take or touch
- 1:11:39Speaker 4: that mini bar. So but when I went, I tried
- 1:11:42Speaker 4: to check out on the app, but you couldn't like
- 1:11:44Speaker 4: fight the charge and like call us after I was
- 1:11:46Speaker 4: like nuh. So I went down to the front desk
- 1:11:49Speaker 4: and I said, you know, mini bar, and the one
- 1:11:52Speaker 4: was like okay, Like she removed it right away. There
- 1:11:54Speaker 4: are don't issues. I was like slightly insulted by the
- 1:11:58Speaker 4: woman who seated me to breakfast at the Kathay and
- 1:12:01Speaker 4: Mary Ken or whatever it was called. When she was
- 1:12:05Speaker 4: bringing me to her table, and then she stopped in
- 1:12:07Speaker 4: the middle and she goes, you know, you may be
- 1:12:10Speaker 4: more comfortable at the bar since you're all alone. And
- 1:12:15Speaker 4: I was like okay, and so sat at the bar.
- 1:12:18Speaker 4: That was it. She wasn't but she wasn't unfriendly And
- 1:12:21Speaker 4: I don't mind sitting at the bar. I didn't have
- 1:12:23Speaker 4: I have nothing bad to say.
- 1:12:25Speaker 1: Well, I'm not trying to get you say something bad.
- 1:12:26Speaker 1: It's just sometimes you have like a like a rude
- 1:12:29Speaker 1: interaction with a Bravo LB or something.
- 1:12:31Speaker 4: And nobody was rude. Everybody was was fun and I
- 1:12:37Speaker 4: was I kept my cool, Like when I hugged Joe
- 1:12:39Speaker 4: Gorga and when Fraser ran like we were we were
- 1:12:43Speaker 4: backstage and he was about to go do something. He
- 1:12:46Speaker 4: ran over. He said Doug, and we hugged and then
- 1:12:48Speaker 4: he ran away, and I was just like, god, look
- 1:12:50Speaker 4: I can be cool.
- 1:12:52Speaker 3: Yeah you could be cool.
- 1:12:53Speaker 1: That's fun. Yeah, you're so funny.
- 1:12:56Speaker 3: Joe Gorga very short.
- 1:12:57Speaker 4: Huh short but uh generous of spirit? Is that right?
- 1:13:07Speaker 4: Is that what I want to say?
- 1:13:09Speaker 3: Short is stature, tall in personality?
- 1:13:12Speaker 4: How about that?
- 1:13:12Speaker 2: Yes?
- 1:13:13Speaker 4: And just a warm and friendly guy. And you know,
- 1:13:17Speaker 4: I didn't feel rushed by anybody. I just Margaret Josephs.
- 1:13:21Speaker 4: I saw Margaret very briefly, but like you know, there
- 1:13:25Speaker 4: are and I never saw Jennifester.
- 1:13:27Speaker 1: We were texting, but everybody had very nice. Every single
- 1:13:30Speaker 1: person had nice thing to say about Jen Fessler. Every
- 1:13:32Speaker 1: person that came across or had nice things to say.
- 1:13:35Speaker 4: Absolutely a doll and the gall was there running her
- 1:13:38Speaker 4: f major booth for the shoes. Her name was Megan.
- 1:13:42Speaker 4: She was really nice. I went over said hello to her.
- 1:13:45Speaker 4: So yeah, I just thought like everybody was everybody got
- 1:13:48Speaker 4: the assignment, and I didn't see I didn't see anybody,
- 1:13:52Speaker 4: you know, like arguing or or having or giving anybody
- 1:13:55Speaker 4: a hard time either, you know, And I just was
- 1:13:57Speaker 4: like sitting alone for much of the time, especially backstage.
- 1:14:00Speaker 4: I just watching everybody have their little you know, mini
- 1:14:03Speaker 4: reunions with each other, and that juxtaposition of being in
- 1:14:08Speaker 4: this utilitarian corridor. Yeah, all the workers are pushing their
- 1:14:13Speaker 4: cards and and there's so much behind the scenes catering
- 1:14:18Speaker 4: action happening, and at the exact same time watching these
- 1:14:22Speaker 4: glam squads, you know, touch up these women and fix
- 1:14:26Speaker 4: their sequence. That to me was like an amazing site
- 1:14:31Speaker 4: to see, you know, just this the surrounding of the
- 1:14:35Speaker 4: talent with their quuff and they're fixing while somebody's like
- 1:14:39Speaker 4: pushing the trays. I thought that was just a great symbol,
- 1:14:46Speaker 4: you know, of what was happening.
- 1:14:48Speaker 1: You could have gotten an artsy photo of that, you know,
- 1:14:50Speaker 1: with somebody to a video.
- 1:14:53Speaker 4: It's on my Instagram at Doug Butden the last thing
- 1:14:59Speaker 4: on my f from Bravo.
- 1:15:01Speaker 1: Com okay, because that would be interesting too, because I mean,
- 1:15:04Speaker 1: you getting to go back stages. I mean, that's that's
- 1:15:07Speaker 1: a pretty rare.
- 1:15:08Speaker 4: That was a game changer, Like, yeah, and since my
- 1:15:12Speaker 4: friend George didn't have that. Like, I didn't want to go,
- 1:15:15Speaker 4: you know, spend too much time. I did want to
- 1:15:17Speaker 4: make sure I was with Jeff before his panels and stuff.
- 1:15:21Speaker 4: So George and I would save seats. And then I said,
- 1:15:24Speaker 4: let me run back stage. Ob I'll be right back.
- 1:15:25Speaker 4: So I just go for like ten minutes spurts.
- 1:15:28Speaker 1: And then you would encourage, You would encourage him to
- 1:15:30Speaker 1: say terrible offensive things. Never I say, we're gonna blame
- 1:15:35Speaker 1: it all on Doug.
- 1:15:36Speaker 2: There we go.
- 1:15:36Speaker 1: I just figured it all out.
- 1:15:38Speaker 3: You guys, is Doug's fault?
- 1:15:39Speaker 4: Uh huh, whatever my fault.
- 1:15:42Speaker 1: Sure, as Doug said, you guys can always find Doug
- 1:15:47Speaker 1: at Doug Beat. And he appears on Jeff Lewis Live.
- 1:15:50Speaker 1: And he also on Thursday has cook and Kibbots where
- 1:15:53Speaker 1: he has people to cook in his kitchen.
- 1:15:56Speaker 4: Yeah, and we kibbits.
- 1:15:57Speaker 1: One day it'll be me.
- 1:15:59Speaker 4: I can't wait. I mean, so I guess I'll wait.
- 1:16:04Speaker 3: You'll have to wait where you can.
- 1:16:06Speaker 1: I'll be back in La probably next year.
- 1:16:08Speaker 4: Okay, well you'll come.
- 1:16:09Speaker 1: I think once years is good for me to come
- 1:16:12Speaker 1: to LA and do a little schmooze around the schmooz
- 1:16:14Speaker 1: around the area.
- 1:16:15Speaker 4: Plus, I have a gorgeous guest room.
- 1:16:19Speaker 3: I've heard You've told me.
- 1:16:20Speaker 4: The bed has the remote control where it goes up
- 1:16:23Speaker 4: and down, and then the bathroom has a Toto.
- 1:16:26Speaker 1: Well, why would I even leave? I would just stay
- 1:16:28Speaker 1: in that guest.
- 1:16:28Speaker 4: Roomay, I would love to have you amazing.
- 1:16:32Speaker 1: Don't hang up, you guys, make sure you're following at
- 1:16:35Speaker 1: Doug Uden and h You're my last You're my last.
- 1:16:38Speaker 3: Recap Doug.
- 1:16:40Speaker 4: We're closing.
- 1:16:40Speaker 1: We're closing out. Not a disappointment. We're closing it out.
- 1:16:44Speaker 1: Brava Gon twenty twenty five, Over out, Fie
