  Speaker 1: have the Holy Spirit be able to speak through this

  Speaker 1: mic and go through the listener's ears and be able

  Speaker 1: to reach their hearts and minds and be able to

  Speaker 1: apply these verses to their lives and the Lord Jesus

  Speaker 1: Christ name. I pray a men. And this is the

  Speaker 1: first take. It's not necessarily live. That's how I used
• 0:28
  Speaker 1: to do my podcast, so I'm kind of still doing

  Speaker 1: that process. I want to be able to use this

  Speaker 1: as a practice as well, not necessarily just preach and teach.

  Speaker 1: It's a practice. I'm getting accustomed to following Christ and

  Speaker 1: being able to be in these verses. And we're gonna
• 0:50
  Speaker 1: be a Matthew Chapter twenty tonight. We'll get through at
• 0:53
  Speaker 1: least the first fifteen verses. I want to highly encourage
• 0:58
  Speaker 1: you to be able to grab your bibles on your
• 1:00
  Speaker 1: bible lap and read along as you hear along. And
• 1:04
  Speaker 1: I'm excited because the Gospel of Matthew has been phenomenal.

  Speaker 1: And we are on chapter twenty, like I stated, and
• 1:14
  Speaker 1: I'm giving you a little bit of a leeway, a
• 1:17
  Speaker 1: little bit of time to grab that Bible because I
• 1:19
  Speaker 1: really highly encourage it. It's good to see it as
• 1:21
  Speaker 1: you hear it. Amen, So let's jump into it. And
• 1:24
  Speaker 1: the title is Jesus tells a story about some workers
• 1:29
  Speaker 1: in a man's field Matthew, Chapter twenty, verse one stage
• 1:32
  Speaker 1: Jesus said, I will tell you a story to show
• 1:36
  Speaker 1: what the Kingdom of Heaven is like. There was an
• 1:39
  Speaker 1: important man who had a field where he grew grapes.
• 1:43
  Speaker 1: He went out early in the morning. He wanted to
• 1:47
  Speaker 1: find some people who would work in his field. Verse two.
• 1:53
  Speaker 1: The master agreed with the workers that he would pay
• 1:58
  Speaker 1: them one silver coin for it day's work. Then he
• 2:02
  Speaker 1: sent them to the work to work in the field.
• 2:06
  Speaker 1: Verse three. The master went out again. About three hours later,
• 2:12
  Speaker 1: he saw some other men standing in the marketplace. They
• 2:16
  Speaker 1: had no work to do. Verse four. So the master
• 2:20
  Speaker 1: said to these men, you also go and work in
• 2:23
  Speaker 1: my field. I will pay you the right amount of
• 2:27
  Speaker 1: money verse five. So the workers went to the master's
• 2:30
  Speaker 1: field and started to work. The master went out again
• 2:34
  Speaker 1: at noon and he went again three hours after that.
• 2:38
  Speaker 1: Both times he sent men to his field to work
• 2:42
  Speaker 1: verse six. Two hours later a five, at five o'clock,
• 2:48
  Speaker 1: he went out again. He found more men who were
• 2:52
  Speaker 1: standing there, and they had no work to do. The
• 2:56
  Speaker 1: master asked them, why are you standing here all day
• 3:00
  Speaker 1: and you were not working? Verse seven. The men said
• 3:03
  Speaker 1: to the master, nobody has asked us to work for him.
• 3:07
  Speaker 1: So the master said to them, you also go now
• 3:10
  Speaker 1: and work in my field. Verse eight. Then the evening came.
• 3:16
  Speaker 1: The master of the field spoke to the man who
• 3:18
  Speaker 1: had authority over the workers. He said to him, tell
• 3:21
  Speaker 1: the workers to come here. Pay them their money. Began
• 3:25
  Speaker 1: with the workers who started to work at the end
• 3:27
  Speaker 1: of the day, finished with the workers who started first.
• 3:31
  Speaker 1: Verse nine. The workers who had come to work at
• 3:36
  Speaker 1: five o'clock in the evening received one silver coin each.
• 3:39
  Speaker 1: The workers who had come to work first thought that
• 3:43
  Speaker 1: they would receive more than the other workers, but each
• 3:46
  Speaker 1: of them also received one silver coin. See, I want
• 3:50
  Speaker 1: to talk about something in this verse that it's towards
• 4:01
  Speaker 1: God bless me. Excuse me. We're gonna put that on
• 4:08
  Speaker 1: so we definitely know we ain't at it. This is
• 4:11
  Speaker 1: where we're getting better and better. We're spiritually working. I
• 4:14
  Speaker 1: want to talk about that last verse right, because, and
• 4:19
  Speaker 1: this is non rehearsed, it does not matter if you
• 4:22
  Speaker 1: come first in the morning or in the afternoon or late.
• 4:27
  Speaker 1: You're still putting in the same amount of work. You're
• 4:29
  Speaker 1: still putting an amount of the same amount of time, right,
• 4:32
  Speaker 1: even if you aren't. What I get from this is
• 4:36
  Speaker 1: that those that first come right, almost like how we're
• 4:42
  Speaker 1: we have talked about in the last few episodes is
• 4:46
  Speaker 1: who's ever first will be last, Who's ever last will
• 4:49
  Speaker 1: be first? Right. You've heard that metaphor by Jesus himself, right,
• 4:54
  Speaker 1: and it's in the Bible. But it's like, we gotta
• 4:57
  Speaker 1: consider that everybody he has to eat, everybody has to
• 5:02
  Speaker 1: earn right, and those that came last working in the
• 5:11
  Speaker 1: fields were just as important as the ones that came
• 5:16
  Speaker 1: in the afternoon. The ones that came in the morning.
• 5:20
  Speaker 1: Does that matter? Being present and showing up is ninety
• 5:25
  Speaker 1: percent of it. Let God do the ten percent. Let's
• 5:28
  Speaker 1: keep going verse eleven. When they received their money, they
• 5:32
  Speaker 1: were not happy. They told the Master that he had
• 5:35
  Speaker 1: not been fair to them. Here we go verse twelve.
• 5:39
  Speaker 1: They said to him. Some of these other workers came
• 5:44
  Speaker 1: last and only worked for one hour, But you have
• 5:47
  Speaker 1: paid them the same money as you paid us, and
• 5:51
  Speaker 1: we have worked all day in the hot sun. Then
• 5:54
  Speaker 1: the master said to one of the workers, my friend,
• 5:57
  Speaker 1: I am being fair to you. You agreed to work
• 6:00
  Speaker 1: for one day and to receive one silver coin verse fourteen.
• 6:05
  Speaker 1: Take your money and go home. I chose to give
• 6:09
  Speaker 1: this last man the same amount of money as I
• 6:12
  Speaker 1: gave to you, Verse fifteen. It is my money. That
• 6:18
  Speaker 1: is a sentence. It is my money, so he can
• 6:20
  Speaker 1: conduct it and spread it out however he wants. I
• 6:24
  Speaker 1: can choose what to do with it. I want to
• 6:28
  Speaker 1: be kind to people and give them more than we agreed.
• 6:34
  Speaker 1: Does that make you upset? I love this. I love
• 6:39
  Speaker 1: this because I can totally relate as somebody that has
• 6:45
  Speaker 1: felt like I was underpaid. Right, and it was already
• 6:52
  Speaker 1: it was already agreed, you know what I mean that
• 6:56
  Speaker 1: that's how much that they were going to get paid.
• 6:59
  Speaker 1: And just because you see other workers getting the same
• 7:03
  Speaker 1: amount for I mean, either way, they still worked. Now
• 7:09
  Speaker 1: I can see how you could be a little aggravated
• 7:12
  Speaker 1: and you know, frustrated with that. Right being as somebody
• 7:16
  Speaker 1: that's worked all day, and especially in the hot and
• 7:19
  Speaker 1: the sun. But it's almost like they're focusing too much
• 7:22
  Speaker 1: on other people's profit right or their wage. I'm sorry.
• 7:30
  Speaker 1: So this is what Jesus said, then, Matthew, Chapter twenty,
• 7:34
  Speaker 1: verse sixteen. Jesus then said, so one day, those people
• 7:38
  Speaker 1: who are not important now will become the most important.
• 7:44
  Speaker 1: Who's ever first will be last, Who's ever last will
• 7:46
  Speaker 1: be first. I just talked about that. Those people who
• 7:49
  Speaker 1: are very important now will become the least important. We're
• 7:52
  Speaker 1: gonna keep going. Where are we at on time? Yes,
• 7:56
  Speaker 1: let's just keep going. I know I said I was
• 7:59
  Speaker 1: gonna just do the first fifteen verses, but this is
• 8:02
  Speaker 1: really good. Before verse seventeen, it is titled Jesus talks
• 8:07
  Speaker 1: again about his death. He's a little psychic, and he
• 8:11
  Speaker 1: knew what was coming. Jesus and his disciples were going
• 8:15
  Speaker 1: towards Jerusalem. As they walked along, Jesus took his twelve
• 8:20
  Speaker 1: disciples away from the other people. He wanted to speak
• 8:24
  Speaker 1: to them alone. Verse eighteen. He said to them, listen,
• 8:29
  Speaker 1: we are going to Jerusalem. There someone will give the
• 8:33
  Speaker 1: Son of Man to the leaders of the priests and
• 8:37
  Speaker 1: the teachers of God's law. He was talking about Judas.
• 8:43
  Speaker 1: These Jewish leaders will decide that he must die verse nineteen.
• 8:50
  Speaker 1: Then they will put him under the power of people
• 8:55
  Speaker 1: who are not Jews. Those people will laugh at him,
• 8:58
  Speaker 1: they will hit him with whips. Then they will kill
• 9:03
  Speaker 1: him on a cross. But after three days he will
• 9:06
  Speaker 1: become alive again. Hey men, Praise God, Praise Jesus, Praise
• 9:10
  Speaker 1: Holy Spirit. And that's just the way I say it.
• 9:13
  Speaker 1: You don't have to say it like me. And that's
• 9:14
  Speaker 1: the one thing I also want to talk about before
• 9:17
  Speaker 1: I really dive in deep to we were able to
• 9:20
  Speaker 1: get to nineteen verse nineteen one through nineteen. Everybody has
• 9:25
  Speaker 1: their own personal way of praying, praising, and reading the Bible.
• 9:32
  Speaker 1: I want you to understand, do not be fooled by
• 9:36
  Speaker 1: some of these religious leaders. There is no wronger right way.
• 9:41
  Speaker 1: The main thing to focus on, and this is a
• 9:45
  Speaker 1: spirit talking is that you have that relationship with Jesus Christ.
• 9:51
  Speaker 1: That is the main important thing. It's not all about
• 9:55
  Speaker 1: just going to church, it's not all about just reading
• 9:58
  Speaker 1: the Bible. Believing the Bible is really the most important thing.

  Speaker 1: Because these are right, these gospels, these different gospels you'll
• 10:09
  Speaker 1: hear a lot of people say that are not believers,
• 10:12
  Speaker 1: or or believers one time, or whatever the case may be. Oh,
• 10:16
  Speaker 1: the Bible just repeats itself. No, it does not. It
• 10:19
  Speaker 1: is literally different perspectives from different people accounting the same thing. Right.
• 10:26
  Speaker 1: But they also weren't really necessarily always working together. They
• 10:32
  Speaker 1: were writing their own what they witnessed. So let's get
• 10:37
  Speaker 1: into it a little deeper though. Being able to know
• 10:42
  Speaker 1: what's coming, prepare for the worst, right, expect expectations. Gone
• 11:00
  Speaker 1: through this, you have probably gone through this the listener.
• 11:03
  Speaker 1: Having expectations on people, places, and things will let you down.
• 11:08
  Speaker 1: It has over and over has let me down. And
• 11:15
  Speaker 1: the truth will set you free. But it also will
• 11:19
  Speaker 1: hurt you a little bit, you know, being able to
• 11:22
  Speaker 1: change is the pain growths as well. But when we're
• 11:26
  Speaker 1: getting deeper into this, Jesus talks about his death, He's
• 11:30
  Speaker 1: telling the people closest to him what's gonna happen so
• 11:34
  Speaker 1: that they canness this, witness it right, what he said,
• 11:37
  Speaker 1: and then how he would rise from the grave. Now
• 11:40
  Speaker 1: being able to be tapped into the Holy Spirit, there's
• 11:47
  Speaker 1: always going to be when you are in danger, the
• 11:53
  Speaker 1: Spirit will lead you out will show you a way out,
• 11:56
  Speaker 1: whether it's a way to protect you or if it's
• 11:59
  Speaker 1: a way to tug you and make you feel some
• 12:05
  Speaker 1: type of way and think some type of way. Like
• 12:07
  Speaker 1: a lot of people don't understand that the spiritual welfare
• 12:12
  Speaker 1: in the battle is that you have to decide and
• 12:15
  Speaker 1: you have to pray heavily to Jesus, because sometimes it's
• 12:22
  Speaker 1: the spirit that's talking to you right and giving you
• 12:26
  Speaker 1: these emotions and giving you these thoughts, and sometimes it's
• 12:32
  Speaker 1: the demons. And if you don't have that relationship with Jesus,
• 12:36
  Speaker 1: you're not going to be able to tell the difference.
• 12:39
  Speaker 1: You're going to be confused, and confusion brings bad decisions. Right,
• 12:47
  Speaker 1: I've been there. I'm not here to condemn you. This
• 12:50
  Speaker 1: is Bible study. This is Bible study. The Ember show away,

  Speaker 1: could do no wrong. Besides, well, I mean if she
• 13:28
  Speaker 1: cheats on me, that's a whole different story. But anything
• 13:33
  Speaker 1: besides that, right, I will continue to always be loyal
• 13:42
  Speaker 1: to this person because I want to explain why for
• 13:47
  Speaker 1: twenty years I was a believer in Jesus Christ, and
• 13:51
  Speaker 1: no matter what I did, no matter where I went,
• 13:57
  Speaker 1: the Holy Spirit was present, even when I pushed it
• 14:02
  Speaker 1: away and wanted to live my own way. So now
• 14:06
  Speaker 1: being on the flip side of the believer standpoint, being
• 14:13
  Speaker 1: a follower of Christ, it's it's such a beautiful thing
• 14:18
  Speaker 1: to be able to have a significant other, to be
• 14:22
  Speaker 1: able to bounce ideas off of right, and not only that,
• 14:25
  Speaker 1: be able to be of encouragement and just be a
• 14:27
  Speaker 1: listening ear. You know I'm not perfect at it. I
• 14:31
  Speaker 1: know that the relationship I have with Jesus is going
• 14:34
  Speaker 1: to be able to benefit my relationships moving forward as
• 14:37
  Speaker 1: a follower, and I highly encourage you to just get
• 14:39
  Speaker 1: more deeper into prayer. Everything else will take it self.
• 14:44
  Speaker 1: It will take s, it'll take root. This is the
