A tragic collision on Corentyne’s 67 Public Road claimed a pedestrian’s life yesterday afternoon around 4 PM, involving two motor lorries. The victim, seriously injured, was rushed to the 75 Public Hospital where she later died. Eight others in one lorry were also hospitalized with minor injuries. Both drivers are in police custody and cooperating as authorities investigate. Efforts are underway to identify the deceased and notify her family.
