- Dr. Michaela: Dr. Greg, welcome to the Sky Talk Doc podcast. We are gonna talk about some sad things and perhaps also some happy endings or at least some joy, peace, and hope in the process of your life experience. Can you share with the listeners a little bit about what you're doing with Parkinson's and neurological disorders and kind of what we're gonna talk about today? Dr. Greg: For sure. so I've been in practice twenty five years as a naturopathic doctor and Chinese medicine provider. And the life of I guess it's the life of hard knocks. Let's call it that. That's what you alluded to with there's been some low points and there's been some high points. And, know, living is not for the faint of heart. ⁓ right. This curriculum we get on the planet of what we're doing here has led me over the last, really the last decade of practice to really focus in on neuro regeneration neurodegeneration. Dr. Michaela: Yeah. Dr. Greg: And I picked on Parkinson's of my own life path. Not that I had personal experience with Parkinson's, but this is the part of the story ⁓ of the and the grief of usually what we find the healing traditions is one's own life path has inspired them to create a mission. And the case with me. You know, this summer marks the eight year mark when my wife Soraya passed. And She was a young ⁓ And ⁓ is how I became a Parkinson's expert and neuroregenerative specialist. I developed the ECL protocol out of this. Soraya developed a rapidly progressing dementia as a young 43-year-old. And at that point my career, you know, I went all of the integrative, functional, naturopathic Chinese medicine things. Maybe it's perimenopause, maybe it's changes, maybe it's a mold toxicity. I exhausted of those roots and had to go into back into conventional land to, you know, already know it was fractured and broken system, but then to go through it with my wife's life on the line. ⁓ Dr. Michaela: Mm. Dr. Greg: became something else. just heartbreaking for anybody out there suffering or going through our medical system. It is really broken, as we all know. and then to experience that as a provider, I had a hard time navigating it myself. So it's really inspired me to to really create change as rapidly as possible. So the the story I will share, you know, one day you know, we moved, Soraya and I bought a house together and we and ⁓ as moves misplace things. And for us it was a orange fiesta ware plate. It became fodder for the kids and I around the dinner table. Like, hey mom's up in the attic again looking for that plate, it wasn't just one once. It was multiple times day. It was this eerie groundhog day. And I always knew Soraya was one in a million. unfortunately the medical community agreed with ⁓ on the differential There was autoimmune encephalitis and Critzville Jacob disease, which is mad cow syndrome and people. Unfortunately, at the end of that ride, they give you a free brain biopsy to let you know actually what were you experiencing there. and it turned out it was Critzville Jacob disease, ⁓ is it's the human version of Mad Cow syndrome, yeah, and disease. So every ⁓ Dr. Michaela: Which is the human version of Mad Cow. And that was that was an autoimmune or was that from something environmental? Dr. Greg: So great question. And it becomes really the CJD is one in 300 people in North America a year. So not many people have that. And of the time it's either genetic or a variant disorder. She had the variant variety, which is we don't know what caused it. but that process, you know, I knew that was on the differential. So I went, ⁓ you know, thought, okay, well, I'm uniquely positioned here, I've got my back against the wall. let's go looking for solutions. And quickly found out we have a pre-on surveillance center in North America at Case Western in Ohio. did not know that before that point in time. I started talking with them, didn't qualify for their remote viewing study. however, I lived with wife having CJD for months. That ride was a rocket ship, you rapidly progressing. Dr. Michaela: And they didn't that that so you didn't know about it prior to her passing. You you found out about the facility after she passed away. Dr. Greg: No, no. I knew I I knew about the facility before. Yeah. On Dr. Michaela: And didn't qualify. Dr. Greg: No, because I was doing too many things. They didn't want, you know, I that's what got me into regenerative stem cell therapeutics, into into IV therapy. I was already doing those therapies in my center. but it really got me into, okay, well, how do we change a brain? And they weren't very interested. It was very, you know, they only had like 43 people in their you know, telehealth and it was it was odd. It was like, huh, you don't you don't want to add another person. Dr. Michaela: ⁓ wow. Dr. Greg: in there to least have the observations and the it was we didn't qualify for the study. So be it. And you know, we consulted them, started to researchers around the globe around prions. Well, you know, is a prion? That's a misfolded protein. So it got me into the first textbook of prionic disease. still in the first edition. Stanley Prussener got a Nobel Prize for the discovery of prions, was the editor, and lo and behold, There are a ton of neurodegenerative conditions in prionic disease textbook. ⁓ you have alpha-sinuclein, a Parkinson's, beta amyloid plaque of Alzheimer's, tau proteins, Lewy body, dementia, you know, you name it, these are misfolded protein disorders. And why I think there's been no major breakthroughs in neurodegenerative care no one's really talking about them because there's not really great solutions. Now, We are putting that together over the last eight years. I, you know, solidified my wrote it in Defying Parkinson's, my second book on the topic. I picked on Parkinson's because one, a of people have it. Two, not a lot of people have CJD. and so I didn't want my suffering to be for naught. That whole process really ripped me open as a human. I navigated the grief and the loss. was it's been intense, right? you wake up real realizing a appreciation for life, a gratitude for the relationship I had with Soraya. still have a relationship with Soraya. She just left physical form, ⁓ really opened me up to a of ways of seeing the world. Because of that profound loss, and you know, perhaps I'm just making a story up about it, but I'm gonna stick to it because you know, we're serving thousands of people a a year, coming up with some really innovative treatments really leading the way for the change. So we have people fly into Park City ⁓ from over the globe with different neurodegenerative conditions and even have brain health longevity center here now because it's working at reversing pathologies. So ⁓ also works as prevention and as a thrive or optimal mode. but this component of understanding ⁓ well, is going on in life with a loss? Like it's tragic. Like I never knew love ⁓ could exist that on the planet. Like this woman survived found a chamber in my heart I didn't even know existed. And for that I'm forever grateful. I I mean it just You know, I now know like, hey, you can communicate like that in on planet Earth with other people. And it gives me the ability to speak to the heart of the matter because we don't know how long we're on the planet. And, know, loss ⁓ you you people die all of the time, but to have it so personal and ⁓ so it it was definitely a shock to the system. So ⁓ eight years later, we're feel like we're coming at a from a ⁓ a place of wholeness, share. Sharing, you know, for a little while there, I was a grief ambassador, just really opened up to to loss. And so people would share a lot of their loss and grief with me. And yeah, I'm a sympathetic crier as well. So it it still is open, but we we we stepped away from the grief ambassador and more of a a mission of hope is is what we're doing today. Dr. Michaela: Well, I've kind of I I kind of have gotten to the place where I believe that perhaps her entire mission in this round of life school or earth school was to connect with you on that level so that you could impact and impart your knowledge and your passion for solving the mystery to others, you know, so as much as Dr. Greg: Yeah. Yeah, I I Yeah, totally it resonates. You know, I it's kind of what I've arrived at of like, well, clearly we wrote that story before we got here of ⁓ a awakening and a way to really rattle me to my core and ⁓ wake up to, hey, you know, there's a bigger stop playing it small. You you really do need to share with And so I just speaking up, you know, I had a online brain regeneration Dr. Michaela: Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Dr. Greg: We reached a hundred thousand people, just happened to coincide with the time of COVID. Like I had the whole thing produced and then we had the shutdown. I was like, wow, that's some serendipity timing of being able to reach, ⁓ know, a hundred thousand people. And that so that continues to have ripples and effects. And, you know, think it it is also given me this ability to of understanding. I mean, you know, in physics, Energy cannot be created nor destroyed, it just changes form. So has given me a deep appreciation of life. you know, the odds of being born and having this experience are extremely low and we just take it for granted most days, right? Dr. Michaela: You know, if you if you had any question about what your mission is, i got solidified, right? Like you you ⁓ have one clarifying question and I haven't done a tremendous amount of research on Parkinson's. Is Parkinson's the label for the disease process as in Parkinson's is the outcome symptomology wise of the CJD? Is that how that works? Dr. Greg: It was like a smack. Yes. No, so Parkinson's is at the heart of Parkinson's is alpha-sinuclein, which is a misfolded protein. that prionic activity, which is CJD, has a pr it's named a prion. Now there are other prionic activity. So what that means is misfolded protein. So in Kritzfeld-Jacob what a misfolded protein does is it starts like a senescent cell. Dr. Michaela: got it. Okay. Mm, okay. Dr. Greg: starts to signal other proteins to misfold. then basically the the technical term for Kurtzferald Jacob disease is spongiform So it's holy ⁓ brain So the ⁓ proteins to misfold and then damage the brain and create gaps ⁓ of Dr. Michaela: Right. The encephalitis. Right. Okay. so here's something that I'm kind of curious about. you there's been a lot of research lately ⁓ on influence ⁓ in tissue. I'm curious what you're finding on that, kind of looking at maybe some of the holistic side of things. Dr. Greg: Yeah, the you know, boy, parasites. So on there's so many levels to unpack with that. not see I'm not seeing that. and I will tell you there are multiple lenses. So in in fractical a fractical, a fractal reality, which you know, you can go forever in, forever out, whatever level you want to tune into, you're going to find some discoveries, which is A little bit hard for the Western mind to understand, but in reality that is true when you look at mathematics. and so you can put on whatever lens. That's just a lens that I'm not putting on because I I'm taking a more of a holistic unity principle approach to apparatus of the innate intelligence. And I that's a little heady. I I do think we can have that conversation and maybe Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Dr. Michaela: Probably not for this audience, yeah. So Dr. Greg: Yeah. So that but in that in that process, looking more holistically, it's the I I don't advocate ever having any analogies of war with your body because it's only you, whether that be parasites or viruses or bacteria, you do or cancer, like you don't want to be at war with your intelligence, your body. so if you look more holistically at health and what actually is happening is Dr. Michaela: Right. Right. Right. Dr. Greg: You know, we live on a planet, that planet influences us. It's not just a process happening in our bodies, per se. So we need as providers and clinicians, need to address the totality of an individual that's multiple levels. Dr. Michaela: Well you know, it's interesting that you say that 'cause I've been doing a lot of research on oneness. I just was sharing with another fellow on this podcast that I have recently read the book book, Restoring to the Edenic Brain or something like that, restoring the brain to Eden. lots of fascinating stuff. You would actually probably really benefit from reading that book. ⁓ yeah, it to your list. it's got lot in there about the fruit based that humans Dr. Greg: I'm gonna write it down, yeah. Dr. Michaela: That keeps us in synergy with the laws of the universe and nature and oneness. I've also recently started doing a lot of research on the Mayans. And know, th there's a lot of things that people don't even realize. They're often kind of known for their highly complex ability to calculate, you know, calendar the the moving of the planets and all that kind of stuff. However, they also have a very fascinating, Dr. Greg: Yeah. Dr. Michaela: component to what they've what they learned and what they imparted in their in their culture and their tradition about body being completely ⁓ in oneness everything in the universe in terms of the number of joints in the body, the number of bones and how it all plays into interplanetary movement, et cetera. Dr. Greg: ⁓ yeah. Yeah, the golden ratio. you know, it boy, you're giving me good chills there. So, you there there is this saying is a Taoist tradition or Chinese medicine is you are in the universe, the universe is in you. And you can shorten that to you are the universe, the universe is you. And you know, that I thought was a quaint saying that I've got taught in Chinese medical school. through meditations, ⁓ when can actually access the the truth of the matter is that's true. It's a truism, is ⁓ you what happens above happens below. There's an influence, there's a a connection, a a coherence. And when start to tune into that frequency or understanding of reality, it it there's maybe more more serendipity, more joy. Perhaps because you realize there there is this design is it it's so complex, incomprehensible, that ⁓ it just it has me arrive back into my heart. And ⁓ what I is watching the trees breathe of just much gratitude for the beauty, the experience of life, the you know, the the ability to sense, to hear, to have this communication. connection, like really treasure that, you know. Dr. Michaela: I think yeah. Yeah, I think it's even bigger than that because like if you ring a bell underwater, you can see what happens with the vibration of that frequency, right? how much of those natural sounds we removed from our existence? So you think about like tuning forks and different things like that. You know what I mean? I think that in nature and and you see this with certain, ⁓ you know, fungi grow near rivers and different things like that. If you're living in the environment, truly living in the environment, not the sterile one that we created with air conditioning and and all the things to block ourselves from the environment. But if you're actually living in the environment, you start to become a part of all of the things that impart frequency and vibration that have the ability to shatter. You know, we start talking about 11th harmonic frequencies and how they can shatter cancer. We've seen that. They can shatter glass. are what 70 some odd percent liquid, right? Like how much of that is influenced when you even think of, you know, encephaly, it's like, okay, we're talking about matter that is congealable, right? And exactly. Dr. Greg: Right. Compressed the slowest form of a waveform. So we're we're a frequency forward center. So we're we really bring in sound and light therapies in a a quantum understanding of the of the physical form. So the field. And so we bathe people in sound frequency, in intention frequency, and scalar waves and PEMF and low-level laser. And so Dr. Michaela: Wow. Yes. Dr. Greg: We're really charging up the body battery from intracellular mitochondria, but then also the microtubules and so it it's don't know, it's a really humbling, ⁓ know, we know a lot, but we know very little. And the more that I learn, it's like, okay, wow, this is it's it's just such an amazing ⁓ experience. Dr. Michaela: Yes. Yes. I almost want to correct you and say the more you remember. It's probably been there the whole time. We've just done a really good job of removing it from our cellular memory. Or active, active cellular access, perhaps, you know. okay, talk about the facility. I know I know I want you to I d we could we can definitely geek out on all these other components to it, but talk about the facility and what you're doing because so many people are obviously affected by Dr. Greg: Yes, thank you. Yeah. Right. Yeah. So true. So true. Yeah. Yeah. Dr. Michaela: Things like Alzheimer's. ⁓ my partner lost his mother to that horrific disease. you know, one of his last phone conversations with her, she thought he was in the fifth grade. She asked if he'd finished his math homework and yeah, it was yeah, and I mean that's fifty years ago, you know, kind of a thing. Dr. Greg: Yeah. Mm. Jeez. Yeah. Yeah, and it's a it's a big it is such a big concern, right? We have this silver tsunami. A lot of us have seen our parents or grandparents go through dementia, memory loss. And you know, that it's such a it's a it's a concern. ⁓ we're at B Vital here in Park City, Utah. We have outreach on the interwebs like this. So thank you for having this conversation. we have a of education online on Instagram and Facebook and all of those places because there's not a lot of hope around these things of dementia, memory loss, Parkinson's, neurodegeneration, and they're all on the rise. So we do ⁓ we outreach, we do a detect phase that's all a client coaching relationship that we start with. ⁓ So see people from around the globe remotely. And then we see, you know, if we're good fit, we invite folks out to a brain camp. We do a week-long brain regeneration camp here we do laser activated and guided V cells. So it's a ⁓ regenerative component with hyperbaric oxygen and red light therapy and sound healing, IV therapy, bioelectric acupuncture. ⁓ You know, have a 10,000 square foot facility here, Park City. We're opening up a location in Salt Lake, a little closer to the airport because so many people travel. you know, I've got a book coming out in 2027 on on just this topic of because there's a lot of doom and gloom around brain health of once you get this diagnosis, you're done. Well, we've seen, you know, sixty-five year olds in stage two Alzheimer's can't do one plus one math, get their factors back, get their memory back, get back at the table with their grandchildren, back involved with the maybe not balancing the checkbook, but ⁓ more engaged in life with ⁓ ⁓ their memory. And you know, my whole goal is get people into heart brain coherence, get the brain healed, get them to drop down into their heart, creating more love in this 3D reality that we find ourselves in. Dr. Michaela: Yeah. I was just scanning your website and I was looking at all the things, ⁓ 'cause it'd been a minute since I'd been on there. So let me ask you, what do you think is the leading cause of the neuro know, the neurological issues that we're seeing in terms of brain damage? Dr. Greg: Three big buckets. so there's environmental toxicity, there's trauma, physical, mental, emotional, and ancestral, because we've been on the planet much longer. ⁓ then there's infection. So viral, bacterial, ⁓ I put maybe mold over there too. So ⁓ those big buckets, yes. Dr. Michaela: Wait, wait, wait. So emotional trauma. So ACES studies stuff, that sort of thing. have I have read quite a few and I've seen fMRIs from narcissistic relationships. We'll just use that term because that's what most people know. and the way cortisol impacts the brain and the way that it cr it it actually does degenerate the brain. so so I just I found that interesting that you listed that in the top three. because I had not Dr. Greg: ⁓ yeah. Top three. And mo many people don't identify with trauma, capital T, little T, but you know, the A scores show no one gets out of here alive and it there this is a learning environment, the curriculum of life. so I find, you know, I just have a working hypothesis on there is the innate intelligence just shuts it down when the individual is not willing to deal with it. So it's like, all right, shut down the memory because we're not gonna get through it this time, right? So and and then that goes into an ancestral component that what happened to our great great great great grandmothers, their trauma cr triggered epigenetic change. Almost like that curse of seven generations. Well, maybe that's a piece of it. Like that there Dr. Michaela: Yeah. I talk about that in my book, Seven Primal Wounds, actually. Yeah. Yeah. So and then so we're looking at number one being environmental toxicity, number two being emotional physical trauma, number three being some of dis ease process, whether that's viral or bacterial, and maybe even mold gets bucketed into that. But that's distinct from the environmental, you're you're kind of explaining. Mm-hmm. Dr. Greg: ⁓ there you go. Yeah. Correct. Correct. Yeah. Dr. Michaela: Wow, so so, you know, go live in a cave you you may avoid well, no, because there's probably that guano that you'll be poisoned on. ⁓ Dr. Greg: Think no, because there's an environmental component, possibly some mold in that cave too. You know, the the good news is is we ⁓ resilient be human beings. And and the message is really, I don't think we've been taught how truly powerful we are. And on the apparatus ⁓ ⁓ receptor, like we all get it with, you know, our supercomputers in our pockets. There's these, you know, invisible frequencies coming in on the phone. To ⁓ that it gets interpreted in the different apps at the browser, blah, blah, blah. Well, these things are a million times more receptive than the computer. ⁓ it it, you like the technologists, I want to use the technology, but like we're not, ⁓ we're uploading our consciousness to the cloud. That's a trap. ⁓ Like we're infinite beings. And so come to that recognize, ⁓ you know, recognize that and address the soul, the spirit. Dr. Michaela: Yeah. Dr. Greg: the the eternal beings, like we're having a human experience. And so it's like, can we wake up to that during this lifetime and produce that? Because when we wake up to how truly powerful, potent we are as beings, and ⁓ and you know, love and light, I do believe, wins, but there is that I don't want to play into a dichotomy and feed that energy. I want to go into that unity space of the whole and the oneness. We're expressions of One thing to be separate in this reality. And so ⁓ that in a clinical encounter is a lot different experience for people in a healthcare setting, right? And and just find there's such a ⁓ hunger and need that to bring the heart back into medicine. The heart is the portal ⁓ that we've all looking for. You know, as the Cat Stevens song is, you know, the answer lies within. It truly does. Like I'm training my providers to have deep presence listen because the person will tell us. Now, you does it mean everybody gets to that space of whole, 100% healed? I don't know what the curriculum is for the individual in front of me or what their karma is or ⁓ what they're exp they signed up to experience, but we can ⁓ have deep presence. can have The recognition, the acknowledgement, the be seen, be heard, be felt, be loved. Like that's a human experience of what we're all looking for. And and that's the the message of hope is like the time is now. Like that's what I've come to express, to share, to educate, you know, the root root word of Dr. Doseri is teacher. and so it it's whether you want to tune into it or not. It's Up to you. I can't make you drink the Kool Aid or water, but ⁓ I'll definitely show you where the the lake is. Yeah. Dr. Michaela: Yeah. And so where can folks go to best know, take your assessment and learn about what you're doing? Where's the the quickest, bestest way for them to find out? Dr. Greg: Yeah, the the bestest route is bital dot com, just the letter B and Vital dot com. and right from there you can kind of sign up into an assessment and start engaging, get into communication. And I've got an amazing team, a lot of heart centered beings. You know, I just came out of our our team huddle. We have a ⁓ team sharing Fridays, you know, twice a month and Just such beautiful souls coming, hearing the call of this service and this mission and people are here to serve. So Dr. Michaela: Love that. Yes. And think that, you know, as we're talking, we're probably gonna have to have you back on to talk more about the frequency side of things as well, right? ⁓ folks, you know we always include everything in the show notes. Dr. Greg, thank you for coming on and talking about such a taboo and tough topic. And not really taboo, but just one that I think people don't really want to look at because it's almost like, well, if I think about that, then it could happen to me. but a lot of ways ⁓ where think we can restore our body to the balance of the universe. Dr. Greg: Awesome. Dr. Michaela: and the creator, whatever name you give to that and and become in more alignment with at least our life purpose while we're here in this round. Right. ⁓ Thank you so much, Dr. Gregg. It was wonderful to have you on. Dr. Greg: Love it. Yeah. Thanks for having me.
