Kansas City Monarchs stars Trevor Boone and Jacob Gomez brought holiday cheer to Olathe in July, teaming up with the Salvation Army to hand out toys to 20 kids from their family shelter and Red Shield Club. Boone called the children “the next generation,” stressing the power of encouragement and dreams at that age. The visit sparked joy and inspiration, giving kids a glimpse of possibility beyond their circumstances.
