- 0:01Speaker 1: Jerry, Katie, and Josh.
- 0:03Speaker 2: Fix 100. I had a very stressful morning. I know
- 0:06Speaker 2: Katie had one, too, because her garage door wasn't going up.
- 0:08Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 0:08Speaker 3: Oh, man, the struggle is real.
- 0:10Speaker 1: It really is.
- 0:10Speaker 4: The struggle is real.
- 0:11Speaker 3: I'm like, oh, your battery's probably dead in your button, right?
- 0:14Speaker 5: That's exactly what it was. I just didn't know that
- 0:15Speaker 5: was my job. That was my responsibility.
- 0:18Speaker 2: Every now and then those batteries die, Katie.
- 0:20Speaker 1: Now I know. Now you know.
- 0:21Speaker 2: Very stressful morning. Mine was stressful on a different level
- 0:25Speaker 2: because I woke up in a bit of a panic
- 0:28Speaker 2: this morning. I'm thinking, well, I guess I got to
- 0:32Speaker 2: start rounding up some boxes because I'm moving out.
- 0:35Speaker 4: I'm done.
- 0:36Speaker 2: I'm toast. I'm history. I guess I better start siphoning
- 0:40Speaker 2: money out of our accounts quickly as possible. What happened?
- 0:43Speaker 2: So I can make a run for it. Wait, what?
- 0:46Speaker 2: I better go kiss the children goodbye before I leave
- 0:49Speaker 2: today because I guess I'm never coming back.
- 0:52Speaker 3: They'll never see me again unless it's in court.
- 0:55Speaker 1: Jeremy, what did you do?
- 0:59Speaker 2: I had the most realistic dream last night that I
- 1:07Speaker 2: was having an affair.
- 1:08Speaker 5: Dude!
- 1:11Speaker 1: With who?
- 1:14Speaker 2: It's that Paige Spironik. Is that her last name?
- 1:16Speaker 4: Oh, the golfer chick.
- 1:17Speaker 2: Is that how you pronounce her last name? Paige Spironik.
- 1:20Speaker 2: She's a golfer. She's a local golfer.
- 1:25Speaker 4: She is fine AF.
- 1:27Speaker 2: I will just tell you that. So this was obviously
- 1:30Speaker 2: a dream. But in my dream, we were like totally together.
- 1:33Speaker 2: And we were making out like crazy. And we were
- 1:37Speaker 2: planning our future. And I was hiding it from my family. Goodness.
- 1:47Speaker 2: It was so incredibly realistic. that I woke up in
- 1:53Speaker 2: a panic today, like, oh my God, Nicole is going
- 1:57Speaker 2: to find out.
- 1:58Speaker 4: I'm history.
- 1:59Speaker 3: Our life as we know it is over.
- 2:02Speaker 2: My relationship with her is over. It's done.
- 2:06Speaker 3: But then I was like, well, we're going to be
- 2:07Speaker 3: with Paige. I guess this is worth half my stuff.
- 2:11Speaker 1: On the bright side.
- 2:12Speaker 2: On the bright side, it's Paige. But yeah, straight panic.
- 2:17Speaker 2: I hate those dreams that are so realistic that you
- 2:21Speaker 2: wake up and you're like, well, that happened.
- 2:22Speaker 4: It seems like you actually love them. I'm not going
- 2:26Speaker 4: to lie. It's not a bad one to have.
- 2:29Speaker 2: I mean, I want to tell you something right now.
- 2:31Speaker 2: I was pretty awesome in that dream.
- 2:34Speaker 1: You seem way too happy about this dream to be like, ah!
- 2:39Speaker 2: I was good. I was performing pretty awesome.
- 2:43Speaker 1: Yeah, in your dreams, Jer.
- 2:45Speaker 2: Oh, no, Nick Mac is texting me. Can I read it?
- 2:47Speaker 1: Well, it's up to you.
- 2:48Speaker 2: Oh, I can't read that.
- 2:51Speaker 6: We're going to talk about this when we get home.
- 2:56Speaker 3: Yeah, she's pretty much saying I got the lawyer on
- 2:58Speaker 3: the line.
- 2:59Speaker 2: Yeah, well. You ever had one of those, though? Like
- 3:01Speaker 2: you're screwing up at work and you feel like, well,
- 3:03Speaker 2: I guess I'm going in to get fired today.
- 3:05Speaker 4: Absolutely.
- 3:07Speaker 1: So realistic, and you are just, like, panicking.
- 3:11Speaker 2: Straight panic.
- 3:11Speaker 1: When you're right, you wake up.
- 3:13Speaker 5: There is the immediate fear, but then the rush of
- 3:16Speaker 5: relief that, you know, just rolls over your body.
- 3:19Speaker 2: I don't have to get a hold of you all today.
- 3:21Speaker 4: Thank God.
- 3:22Speaker 7: It's time for a week with 100 Sports Report, bringing
- 3:26Speaker 7: you all the latest in the world of sports.
- 3:29Speaker 2: All the ups and downs. All the highlights.
- 3:32Speaker 4: All the points and stats.
- 3:34Speaker 7: It's points and stats and baseball bats with your Bakes
- 3:39Speaker 7: 100 sport grab arm.
- 3:42Speaker 3: All right, so this woman is a badass.
- 3:45Speaker 2: She's 66 years old. She's out of California. She's a skateboarder.
- 3:50Speaker 2: Judy Oyama, I think is how you pronounce her name.
- 3:53Speaker 2: She just broke her own Guinness World Record as the
- 3:56Speaker 2: oldest female competitive skateboarder. at the age of 66 years old.
- 4:01Speaker 3: Wow.
- 4:02Speaker 2: Oyama stepped on a skateboard for the first time at
- 4:05Speaker 2: the age of 13. Look at her go. She just competed, and, yeah,
- 4:10Speaker 2: she was 66 years and 25 days old when she
- 4:13Speaker 2: participated in the International Solemn Skateboarding World Champions in Brazil
- 4:18Speaker 2: last November. And she originally set the record when she
- 4:22Speaker 2: was 64 in 2024. So she's still at it.
- 4:25Speaker 3: This whole article is talking about she's like not giving up.
- 4:28Speaker 3: She's not quitting. She's not slowing down. And we'll basically
- 4:31Speaker 3: see you at 70.
- 4:32Speaker 2: Yeah. Doing those ollies and kick flips and getting your
- 4:35Speaker 2: grind on.
- 4:36Speaker 1: Exactly.
- 4:37Speaker 2: And snapping an ankle.
- 4:38Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 4:39Speaker 1: Careful. Judy, take your supplements, girl. You're going to need those.
- 4:43Speaker 3: Take those calcium pills.
- 4:46Speaker 1: Don't skip a day, okay?
- 4:48Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 4:49Speaker 1: But good for her.
- 4:50Speaker 4: That's amazing.
- 4:50Speaker 3: That's kind of neat, right?
- 4:51Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 4:52Speaker 1: You've got to keep that body moving as we get older. So, Judy,
- 4:55Speaker 1: way to go.
- 4:56Speaker 4: And it's her passion, obviously.
- 4:57Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 4:58Speaker 2: You love that.
- 4:58Speaker 1: That's a great story.
- 4:59Speaker 2: I love that for her. Oh, Get on that half pipe, girlfriend.
- 5:03Speaker 2: What else you got?
- 5:04Speaker 8: All right.
- 5:04Speaker 6: Well, the Rockies are well on their way to losing
- 5:07Speaker 6: 100 games for the fourth straight year, which is not
- 5:10Speaker 6: what you want. But with 16 home games left in
- 5:12Speaker 6: the regular season, they kept their promise. They have added
- 5:15Speaker 6: a bunch of new food. to draw fans to the
- 5:19Speaker 6: stadium this year. The Viral 999 Challenge came out earlier
- 5:21Speaker 6: this year.
- 5:22Speaker 2: Glizilla.
- 5:23Speaker 6: Dubai Cinnamon Roll, the Glizilla, the Brisket Taco. Well, they're
- 5:26Speaker 6: adding another new one this week, and it is an
- 5:29Speaker 6: interesting kind of mix of foods. Katie, I don't know
- 5:33Speaker 6: if I like this, but it's the Buffalo Chicken Donut.
- 5:35Speaker 6: So it's a soft, plain donut loaded with tender buffalo chicken,
- 5:40Speaker 6: melted mozzarella cheese, and then baked into perfection in an
- 5:44Speaker 6: oven pizza.
- 5:46Speaker 1: I would try it.
- 5:47Speaker 2: What's an oven pizza? You know what?
- 5:49Speaker 4: A pizza oven.
- 5:49Speaker 6: Sorry.
- 5:49Speaker 2: I'm sorry.
- 5:50Speaker 4: A pizza oven. What the?
- 5:52Speaker 2: Switch.
- 5:54Speaker 5: I've seen these savory donut trends, though, and I have
- 5:57Speaker 5: always said I wanted to try them.
- 5:59Speaker 2: Sounds pretty good.
- 6:00Speaker 4: You can take a look at it, Katie. What do
- 6:01Speaker 4: you think? Are you into it?
- 6:03Speaker 5: I mean, it just, you know, it looks like buffalo
- 6:05Speaker 5: chicken stuff in a different shape, right?
- 6:07Speaker 1: Same thing. Different shape.
- 6:09Speaker 2: It's just a donut-shaped chicken.
- 6:10Speaker 4: Different carrier to your mouth, right? Exactly.
- 6:12Speaker 1: Different vessel, if you will.
- 6:14Speaker 2: I'm not a fan of meat in shape, so that's not...
- 6:17Speaker 2: I've never been a fan of, like, the dino nuggets,
- 6:19Speaker 2: you know? No, but this.
- 6:21Speaker 4: Is still just shredded chicken on a donut.
- 6:22Speaker 1: You're like, where does that come from, the dino, actually?
- 6:25Speaker 4: What part of the dino?
- 6:26Speaker 2: What part of the chicken does the dino nugget come from?
- 6:30Speaker 2: Either way. Well, that sounds like a tasty treat for
- 6:34Speaker 2: probably $ 27.
- 6:34Speaker 6: 99.
- 6:34Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 6:34Speaker 4: We've got receipts.
- 6:39Speaker 7: We've got drama.
- 6:40Speaker 1: We've got Denver talking.
- 6:42Speaker 2: It's the Mile High Hype.
- 6:43Speaker 1: With JKJ.
- 6:44Speaker 4: Legends and icons.
- 6:46Speaker 1: On Mix 100.
- 6:46Speaker 2: Yeah, it's all the big news of the day, and
- 6:48Speaker 2: it's brought to you by Mountain High Appliance, where you
- 6:51Speaker 2: can get amazing savings throughout all their showrooms, whether you're
- 6:54Speaker 2: replacing one appliance or remodeling an entire kitchen. You can
- 6:57Speaker 2: find top brands and expert advice. Just go to mountainhighappliance.com. Well,
- 7:03Speaker 2: the biggest news coming out of the city yesterday is
- 7:06Speaker 2: the new watering restrictions. So starting October 1st, say goodbye
- 7:11Speaker 2: to your lawns. October 1st is the deadline to shut
- 7:15Speaker 2: off your water. They say it is going to be mandatory.
- 7:19Speaker 2: They're banning all automatic lawn sprinklers, spray, and spray irrigation
- 7:24Speaker 2: until spring of 2027 due to the severe drought. So
- 7:29Speaker 2: your automated sprinklers, or manual even if you're dragging the
- 7:32Speaker 2: hose out there, Must be turned off by October 1st.
- 7:36Speaker 2: Done and done. Now, you can still hand water some
- 7:40Speaker 2: of your trees if they need it, some of your
- 7:42Speaker 2: shrubs and flowers, maybe vegetable gardens if they're still going.
- 7:47Speaker 2: But you will receive a formal warning if you don't
- 7:50Speaker 2: shut them off. The second offense is $ 250. Third is $ 500.
- 7:52Speaker 2: And fourth is a $ 1, 000 fine. But we're running low
- 7:54Speaker 2: on water, so....
- 8:00Speaker 1: And that's across the state, huh? Not just Denver?
- 8:02Speaker 2: Yeah, I think so. Hopefully we have a wet October, right?
- 8:07Speaker 1: Well, they're saying El Nino is supposed to bring it.
- 8:10Speaker 1: So let's go.
- 8:12Speaker 3: Anyway, you've been warned. The Colorado State Fair opens tomorrow.
- 8:17Speaker 2: Excuse me, tomorrow. It's Colorado's biggest end of year tradition.
- 8:21Speaker 2: It's going to be down in Pueblo and it runs
- 8:23Speaker 2: for about 11 days. You can get your carnival rides there.
- 8:26Speaker 2: Your livestock competitions. Oh, I love a good livestock competition.
- 8:30Speaker 1: Me too.
- 8:30Speaker 2: You got your fair food, so you can go down
- 8:32Speaker 2: there and get a funnel cake. Rodeos, concerts, all sorts
- 8:36Speaker 2: of exhibits. So that's generally a good time, so people
- 8:40Speaker 2: tell me. I've never been down.
- 8:41Speaker 1: I haven't either.
- 8:42Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 8:42Speaker 1: I know.
- 8:43Speaker 5: I've always wanted to go, but it just seems when
- 8:45Speaker 5: it rolls around, I'm like, well.
- 8:47Speaker 2: I'm working. Yeah. Kind of.
- 8:49Speaker 1: Exactly.
- 8:50Speaker 2: What else is going on? Uh-oh. Buc-ee's is at it again.
- 8:53Speaker 2: The old Buc-ee's. You know, they were out there trying
- 8:56Speaker 2: to get their big gas station put into the Palmer
- 8:59Speaker 2: Lake area.
- 9:00Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 9:00Speaker 2: The town of Palmer Lake. Well, if you recall, there
- 9:04Speaker 2: was enormous backlash and recalls and- resignations of special elections.
- 9:10Speaker 2: And there's all sorts of nonsense that went on with that.
- 9:12Speaker 2: They eventually pulled the plug, right?
- 9:14Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 9:14Speaker 3: Well, they're back and they're going to El Paso County to.
- 9:17Speaker 2: Get the approval instead. Because I think El Paso kind
- 9:22Speaker 2: of is the umbrella over the Palmer Lake area.
- 9:25Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 9:26Speaker 2: So they're going to El Paso County now to try
- 9:29Speaker 2: to get approval for the gigantic travel center.
- 9:32Speaker 1: Still in the same spot.
- 9:33Speaker 2: I believe so. They say it does qualify under certain
- 9:37Speaker 2: zoning rules out there that allow a convenience store, even
- 9:41Speaker 2: if it is 74,000 square feet with 120 gas pumps.
- 9:46Speaker 1: Do you know what this is like?
- 9:48Speaker 5: This is like when you ask mom for something and
- 9:50Speaker 5: she says no. So you wait till dad has a
- 9:52Speaker 5: few beers and then you.
- 9:53Speaker 4: Go ask him the same thing.
- 9:55Speaker 2: For sure. So they're going to El Paso County to
- 9:58Speaker 2: see if they can get some approval. I'm telling you,
- 10:01Speaker 2: I've been to that Johnstown now, went up in Johnstown
- 10:04Speaker 2: now a couple times.
- 10:05Speaker 1: I love it.
- 10:06Speaker 3: I get it why they do not want that out there.
- 10:09Speaker 5: Oh, really?
- 10:10Speaker 1: Are you kidding me? I love that place. It was horrible.
- 10:14Speaker 2: The amount of traffic that it brings in, the amount
- 10:18Speaker 2: of people, the smell of exhaust. It was nasty. It
- 10:23Speaker 2: was nasty up there.
- 10:24Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 10:25Speaker 5: I think that people are afraid of what they don't know,
- 10:29Speaker 5: but it's going to bring.
- 10:30Speaker 4: A lot of jobs.
- 10:30Speaker 2: But they do know.
- 10:31Speaker 4: It's so good for the economy.
- 10:33Speaker 1: Exactly. It's more than just about their view of the mountains.
- 10:36Speaker 2: Noise pollution.
- 10:37Speaker 5: People are pretty selfish when they're thinking about why they
- 10:39Speaker 5: don't want it, and it's for the good of everybody.
- 10:42Speaker 2: It's too big.
- 10:42Speaker 1: It's so the beaver can be everywhere.
- 10:44Speaker 2: It's too big. I don't know. Go up to that
- 10:46Speaker 2: one in Johnstown on like a Friday afternoon where you
- 10:49Speaker 2: can't find a single parking spot anywhere. And the lines
- 10:52Speaker 2: are out the door. And the line of cars down
- 10:54Speaker 2: the road.
- 10:55Speaker 3: I was just there, and I was like, what the
- 10:57Speaker 3: hell is happening?
- 10:58Speaker 1: Yeah, but people who like that stuff.
- 11:00Speaker 2: And the brisket sandwich was kind of ho-hum to me.
- 11:03Speaker 1: That's the thing. That's not your thing.
- 11:05Speaker 5: But for people who it is their thing.
- 11:07Speaker 2: Brisket is my thing. What are you talking about?
- 11:08Speaker 1: The gas station itself. People love that place.
- 11:11Speaker 5: And so to have it so close, I can see
- 11:14Speaker 5: why people would want it.
- 11:16Speaker 2: Too many people. Too many people fight it.
- 11:19Speaker 3: All right, I got one more thing.
- 11:20Speaker 2: Generally, it's Katie doing the bear stories.
- 11:22Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 11:22Speaker 2: But a bear helped itself to some firefighting equipment after
- 11:26Speaker 2: wandering into a Colorado Springs fire station. The Springs Fire
- 11:31Speaker 2: Department posted some security camera footage to social media showing
- 11:35Speaker 2: the animal entering the bay at Station 16 and then
- 11:39Speaker 2: walking off with a bag of just gear. He peaced out,
- 11:44Speaker 2: and I guess they're still trying to find it.
- 11:46Speaker 6: Uh.
- 11:47Speaker 2: It remains unclear whether the gear was recovered. So I'm
- 11:51Speaker 2: wondering what was in there. Maybe they had a couple
- 11:53Speaker 2: granola bars or something, or I don't know. But maybe
- 11:56Speaker 2: this bear's just really into firefighters.
- 11:58Speaker 4: Maybe just like Smokey the Bear.
- 11:59Speaker 1: To his cousin Smokey.
- 12:00Speaker 2: That's what I was going to say. There we go.
- 12:02Speaker 2: It's kind of cute, though. Just like all the ladies
- 12:05Speaker 2: out there, bears love firefighters.
- 12:06Speaker 5: They do.
- 12:07Speaker 1: All right, what.
- 12:08Speaker 2: Else is going on?
- 12:08Speaker 5: Okay, so introducing... The Beast in a Blanket at Empower
- 12:12Speaker 5: Field at Mile High. So this season, it is on
- 12:16Speaker 5: the Pig in a Blanket, daddy of them all. So
- 12:18Speaker 5: this thing is massive. It's a two-foot grilled hot dog
- 12:21Speaker 5: with barbecue brisket, burnt ends, goat cheese up in there,
- 12:26Speaker 5: sharp cheddar. You've got a puff pastry that completely... envelopes
- 12:30Speaker 5: at all, and then crispy onions, jalapeno slices, avocado crema,
- 12:35Speaker 5: and Mile High secret sauce on top.
- 12:38Speaker 2: Too many flavors.
- 12:39Speaker 1: Oh, it's so many good flavors.
- 12:41Speaker 5: No word on what this delicious monstrosity is going to cost,
- 12:44Speaker 5: but the Glizilla at Coors.
- 12:46Speaker 1: Field is $ 50. And this is comparable to that. So
- 12:50Speaker 1: that's what they're thinking.
- 12:51Speaker 2: $ 50 glizzy.
- 12:52Speaker 1: At least $ 50. Now, the thing is, it's two pounds.
- 12:55Speaker 1: So they're not expecting people to put this away by themselves.
- 12:58Speaker 1: You get it.
- 12:59Speaker 2: You share it.
- 13:00Speaker 1: Well, I'm saying, like, they expect people to get it
- 13:02Speaker 1: and share it. That's why it costs so much. But, yeah,
- 13:06Speaker 1: it's going to be available starting this season. And I'm
- 13:09Speaker 1: all about it. I will at least try it.
- 13:10Speaker 2: It looks good. I saw a picture.
- 13:12Speaker 1: I love a good pig in a blanket.
- 13:13Speaker 5: So the fact that they've kind of just leveled this
- 13:16Speaker 5: one up.
- 13:17Speaker 1: Bring me the goat cheese. I'm a big fan of that.
- 13:19Speaker 2: Think twice about what you're putting in your body.
- 13:22Speaker 1: Well, again, it's a treat. It's not like you have
- 13:25Speaker 1: these beasts.
- 13:25Speaker 2: In a blanket. Look at the first word of this meal.
- 13:30Speaker 1: But if you're just having a treat while you're at
- 13:33Speaker 1: a ball game, it's worth it to at least try it.
- 13:36Speaker 4: I've earned this.
- 13:37Speaker 1: Maybe you want to share.
- 13:38Speaker 2: I got my 10,000 steps in today. I earned this.
- 13:40Speaker 1: How many miles did you run yesterday?
- 13:43Speaker 2: Oh, I run 15 miles. Yeah, right.
- 13:46Speaker 1: Okay, moving on. You want to do a push-up competition
- 13:48Speaker 1: right now?
- 13:49Speaker 2: Yeah, let's go. Let's go.
- 13:50Speaker 1: I will leg wrestle you all day.
- 13:51Speaker 2: That has nothing to do with legs.
- 13:52Speaker 1: Yes, I just asked you how far you ran.
- 13:54Speaker 2: No, I said you want to do a push-up competition.
- 13:56Speaker 1: Oh, and then I asked you a leg competition. Leg wrestling.
- 13:59Speaker 2: I could outrun you. Easy. Easy peasy.
- 14:02Speaker 1: Yeah, right.
- 14:03Speaker 2: You want to race down the hall right now? I
- 14:05Speaker 2: will race you down the hall right now.
- 14:07Speaker 1: That's not fair. I don't have tennis shoes on today.
- 14:09Speaker 2: I'll take my shoes off. We'll do it barefoot.
- 14:11Speaker 1: You know what? It's about to happen. It's about to happen.
- 14:14Speaker 2: Let me get my camera. During the break.
- 14:15Speaker 1: I know. New video. Yeah.
- 14:17Speaker 9: Okay.
- 14:17Speaker 2: Let me go clip my toenails. I might cut you.
- 14:22Speaker 2: I'm like a Wolverine. I can swap fish out of
- 14:28Speaker 2: a lake.
- 14:33Speaker 1: Denver city council.
- 14:34Speaker 5: They've officially approved a new naming rights agreement for the building.
- 14:38Speaker 5: That is a better concert hall. So the Colorado symphony,
- 14:42Speaker 5: they're going to sell the naming opportunities to fund this
- 14:45Speaker 5: massive renovation and They're going to redo Betra Concert Hall
- 14:48Speaker 5: to the.
- 14:48Speaker 1: Tune of $ 122 million.
- 14:49Speaker 5: That is quite the improvement there.
- 14:53Speaker 2: I was just there. It didn't look that bad. I mean,
- 14:56Speaker 2: the restrooms still looked great. The symphony area looked fantastic.
- 15:00Speaker 2: So there must be some stuff going on behind the
- 15:02Speaker 2: scenes we don't know about.
- 15:03Speaker 5: Well, can you imagine how much better it's going to look?
- 15:06Speaker 1: Yeah. $ 122 million.
- 15:08Speaker 5: And hopefully they name it something that I can look
- 15:11Speaker 5: at and pronounce immediately.
- 15:13Speaker 2: Well, I saw. How do I? You know what my
- 15:17Speaker 2: vote is? It's always like Hot Topic Concert Hall or
- 15:20Speaker 2: Build-A-Bear Concert Hall.
- 15:22Speaker 1: We should do that.
- 15:22Speaker 2: They're going to do multiple things, though. You can have
- 15:24Speaker 2: naming rights on the inside. You can have naming rights
- 15:27Speaker 2: of the stage. You can have naming rights of various
- 15:29Speaker 2: portions of the building. So they're really selling it off.
- 15:32Speaker 5: Duke's Mayo Side Stage.
- 15:34Speaker 2: Right. The Cinnabon Theater.
- 15:36Speaker 4: That's so funny.
- 15:38Speaker 2: The Duke's Mayo.
- 15:39Speaker 4: So we'll see.
- 15:40Speaker 1: What it all comes to.
- 15:42Speaker 5: But yeah, they're workshopping that idea for new names there.
- 15:46Speaker 5: And then tonight, this is really exciting because we've all
- 15:49Speaker 5: still kind of been reeling about the loss of Dolly Parton.
- 15:51Speaker 5: I mean, I'm still seeing it all over social media
- 15:54Speaker 5: and it makes me sad that she's.
- 15:56Speaker 1: Not with us anymore. So Grizzly Rose, they're like, you
- 15:59Speaker 1: know what? Tonight, it's ladies night.
- 16:02Speaker 5: And in honor of the late, great Dolly Parton, it's
- 16:05Speaker 5: dress like Dolly night.
- 16:06Speaker 1: I can't wait. And for ladies, it is Free drinks
- 16:11Speaker 1: after 8.
- 16:12Speaker 5: So you get free draft beer and free well drinks
- 16:14Speaker 5: from 8 until midnight tonight. So you can go tip
- 16:17Speaker 5: it on back for Dolly. But I love that they're
- 16:19Speaker 5: doing that because, again, I think this is one loss
- 16:22Speaker 5: that we are all feeling tremendously because she was such
- 16:25Speaker 5: a good human.
- 16:26Speaker 1: She did so many good things.
- 16:28Speaker 5: I just saw this post where someone was like, she
- 16:30Speaker 5: was talking about Dolly Parton passing away and her little
- 16:33Speaker 5: seven year old daughter kind of got sad.
- 16:35Speaker 1: And she was like, Oh, do you know who Dolly is?
- 16:38Speaker 5: She's like, well, I don't know her, know her, but
- 16:40Speaker 5: she sent me books. And I was like, Oh, don't.
- 16:45Speaker 7: Be such a chicken squad.
- 16:48Speaker 2: I have this list. I didn't get to it, but the,
- 16:51Speaker 2: you know, my, I talked about this yesterday, my whole
- 16:54Speaker 2: joke of the oversaturation is, Of Dolly Parton. This story
- 16:57Speaker 2: says she left behind a roadmap of planned projects. She's
- 17:00Speaker 2: got her Tennessee travel shops. She's got her Songteller Hotel.
- 17:05Speaker 2: There's a Life of Many Colors Museum. Dolly Dolls are
- 17:10Speaker 2: going to be available in September. Her Cup of Ambition Coffee.
- 17:14Speaker 2: Dolly on Holly, which they think is like an elf
- 17:17Speaker 2: on a shelf.
- 17:18Speaker 5: Oh!
- 17:19Speaker 2: Her Broadway production, the true original musical, there's a 9
- 17:24Speaker 2: to 5 jewelry collection, Dolly's dog treats, a bedding and
- 17:29Speaker 2: home decor collection, and her avatar was in the works
- 17:34Speaker 2: as well. That's how much Dolly Parton stuff was in
- 17:38Speaker 2: the pipeline.
- 17:38Speaker 1: I mean, she was working way more than 9 to 5.
- 17:41Speaker 1: She's just 24-7 on the clock. But may she rest.
- 17:46Speaker 2: Well, have fun at the Grizzly Rose, though. Get you
- 17:48Speaker 2: some free drinks.
- 17:48Speaker 5: Right?
- 17:49Speaker 2: Somebody getting pregnant that night.
- 17:51Speaker 1: Hey, there you go, Jared. There's your mile high.
- 17:53Speaker 2: How many hours was it free drinks?
- 17:56Speaker 1: Eight to midnight. Eight to midnight.
- 17:57Speaker 2: Four hours.
- 17:58Speaker 3: Somebody definitely getting pregnant that night.
- 18:01Speaker 2: Another red flag. Another red flag when it comes to
- 18:06Speaker 2: Princess Pilot, Josh's girlfriend. I'm telling you, these things are
- 18:09Speaker 2: stacking up. This is coming on the heels of her
- 18:12Speaker 2: demanding that he celebrates her half birthday. He got her
- 18:16Speaker 2: a sash and everything. Little princess crown. That was one
- 18:21Speaker 2: major red flag. Here's another one. Now she's in his
- 18:23Speaker 2: kitchen because he likes going to the mall to get
- 18:27Speaker 2: lunch or dinner.
- 18:28Speaker 3: Oh, I didn't understand this. What's their beef with the
- 18:30Speaker 3: food court?
- 18:31Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 18:31Speaker 6: I was talking the other day, and I live and
- 18:34Speaker 6: Katie lives relatively close to Park Meadows Mall, right?
- 18:37Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 18:37Speaker 2: Wait, wait, wait. Retail resort.
- 18:39Speaker 4: It's not a mall.
- 18:40Speaker 2: Sorry.
- 18:41Speaker 4: Sorry, sorry. Don't want to upset anybody.
- 18:43Speaker 6: But that being said, I go there every once in
- 18:45Speaker 6: a while right after work. Because that gives me, like, what,
- 18:48Speaker 6: 10 to 12 options of restaurants right there in the
- 18:50Speaker 6: food court, right?
- 18:51Speaker 1: Yeah, what you feeling?
- 18:52Speaker 2: Which are all, like, totally— You can get a Cinnabon
- 18:54Speaker 2: and some Panda Express.
- 18:56Speaker 4: Totally viable options. Maybe some pretzels.
- 18:57Speaker 6: So I was texting her the other day, and I
- 18:59Speaker 6: was like, hey, I'm just at the mall really quick
- 19:01Speaker 6: to grab some food. And she's like, you go there—
- 19:04Speaker 6: just for the options of food there? And I'm like, yeah, absolutely.
- 19:08Speaker 6: They're all restaurants.
- 19:08Speaker 2: You text back and be like, oh, you celebrate a
- 19:10Speaker 2: half birthday?
- 19:12Speaker 4: What are you, an idiot? I don't like to start fights,
- 19:14Speaker 4: so no.
- 19:15Speaker 1: You're like, I'm not looking for a fight, Jeremy.
- 19:17Speaker 4: Nope, I don't want that. But I was confused.
- 19:20Speaker 6: She was so confused that I would go in there
- 19:23Speaker 6: to not just shop. Like, I did no shopping. I
- 19:25Speaker 6: got in, got out, got what I wanted, got some
- 19:27Speaker 6: Panda Express, all right? And she was like, no, no, no,
- 19:30Speaker 6: that's like the extra treat you get when you're already
- 19:32Speaker 6: shopping there.
- 19:33Speaker 4: And I was like, Not at all. That makes no
- 19:35Speaker 4: sense to me.
- 19:36Speaker 2: Unbelievable. This is unbelievable. I can't with this woman.
- 19:40Speaker 1: I went to this specific mall just for the food options.
- 19:42Speaker 2: Retail resort.
- 19:43Speaker 4: Okay.
- 19:44Speaker 8: Jeremy.
- 19:46Speaker 1: That's where Shake Shack is. It is in the mall.
- 19:49Speaker 1: I have to go there to get that. But we
- 19:52Speaker 1: went in there. I remember when we did a little
- 19:53Speaker 1: field trip as JKJ.
- 19:55Speaker 5: We all got bourbon chicken at that one spot. I
- 19:58Speaker 5: go back for that bourbon chicken always.
- 20:00Speaker 2: A chicken was money.
- 20:01Speaker 1: It was so good. So I go to Park Meadows
- 20:05Speaker 1: Retail Resort quite often just for the food. I do this.
- 20:09Speaker 2: Why wouldn't you? You have, like, you got so many options.
- 20:11Speaker 10: Thank you.
- 20:12Speaker 9: Exactly.
- 20:12Speaker 4: And they even have, like, a Jamba Juice in there, too,
- 20:14Speaker 4: if I'm feeling a smoothie.
- 20:15Speaker 2: You can get a Starby's if you want.
- 20:17Speaker 6: And to be honest, I think, I know we have
- 20:19Speaker 6: another Chick-fil-A down the road, but I think that is
- 20:20Speaker 6: the closest Chick-fil-A to us. Yeah.
- 20:23Speaker 4: I mean, there's Popeyes. There's a Chipotle in there.
- 20:26Speaker 1: There's so many.
- 20:27Speaker 2: Why would you not go to the retail resort to
- 20:29Speaker 2: get a delicious snack?
- 20:31Speaker 4: I was shocked that I was not going to buy.
- 20:32Speaker 2: Some aloe or lulu first before going.
- 20:37Speaker 4: We do.
- 20:38Speaker 2: I've told you, you need to keep looking.
- 20:40Speaker 4: For this?
- 20:42Speaker 2: That's crazy.
- 20:43Speaker 3: Red flag on red flag on red flag.
- 20:46Speaker 4: This on top of the half birthdays, you just can't do.
- 20:48Speaker 3: There's so much more, too, that you guys don't even
- 20:50Speaker 3: know about.
- 20:51Speaker 1: Like, I'm not having it.
- 20:52Speaker 2: I'm not having it. This is not good long-term love here.
- 20:56Speaker 2: It's not a good long-term relationship.
- 20:58Speaker 1: I wouldn't base it on her food court preference.
- 21:01Speaker 2: She doesn't like you going into a food court to
- 21:04Speaker 2: get food in a food court.
- 21:06Speaker 3: Although I think they call it the dining hall.
- 21:08Speaker 2: It is.
- 21:09Speaker 4: It is the dining hall. It says, welcome to the
- 21:11Speaker 4: dining hall.
- 21:11Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 21:12Speaker 2: So you can enjoy 20 different options. That's nuts to me.
- 21:17Speaker 4: I think it's a great idea.
- 21:18Speaker 1: I think it's great.
- 21:18Speaker 4: Especially because I.
- 21:20Speaker 6: Think I grew up doing that because a family of
- 21:22Speaker 6: seven that we were. every kid could get what they wanted.
- 21:25Speaker 2: Absolutely.
- 21:26Speaker 4: And I think that's smart.
- 21:27Speaker 5: And if you don't know what you want, that's what
- 21:28Speaker 5: I like to do. I like to walk in there
- 21:30Speaker 5: and wander around and see which ones speak.
- 21:32Speaker 2: Get the samples on the toothpicks.
- 21:33Speaker 8: Exactly.
- 21:34Speaker 4: Thank you.
- 21:34Speaker 1: Who's going to tempt me?
- 21:35Speaker 2: What has she got against samples on toothpicks?
- 21:38Speaker 1: Who's going to tempt me over with their delicious food?
- 21:40Speaker 2: Wow me, woo me.
- 21:41Speaker 4: Exactly. What catches the nose, right?
- 21:43Speaker 5: Who's going to get me as their customer?
- 21:44Speaker 1: It's like a game I like to play. So I
- 21:47Speaker 1: love Dining Hall.
- 21:47Speaker 2: Who wants me?
- 21:48Speaker 4: Yes, Josh.
- 21:48Speaker 2: You've got to get with a woman who loves little toothpicks, okay?
- 21:53Speaker 6: Oh.
- 21:53Speaker 2: In more ways than one.
- 21:57Speaker 1: Jerry, Katie, and Josh.
- 21:58Speaker 10: Fix 100.
- 21:59Speaker 2: There is this story out this morning talking about how
- 22:02Speaker 2: malls are starting to charge for the best parking spots,
- 22:05Speaker 2: and people are hating it.
- 22:07Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't go to Cherry Creek because of that.
- 22:09Speaker 11: Right.
- 22:10Speaker 4: I don't.
- 22:10Speaker 2: Man, everyone was pissed when they started doing that. But
- 22:13Speaker 2: I guess malls all across the country are still looking
- 22:17Speaker 2: to do preferred or premium parking. They're roping off certain spots.
- 22:24Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 22:24Speaker 2: Specifically, they're targeting this mall in New Jersey right now. $ 2. 45
- 22:29Speaker 2: for the first hour at these spots, $ 2 each additional hour,
- 22:35Speaker 2: and a maximum of $ 10. 45 per day. So if you
- 22:38Speaker 2: park there for a long time, it's going to cost
- 22:40Speaker 2: you like $ 11. Now, they say it is all about convenience,
- 22:44Speaker 2: whether you're running in for one thing, meeting somebody for
- 22:48Speaker 2: lunch in the food court... Or you just don't want
- 22:51Speaker 2: to hunt for that parking spot. It is additional revenue
- 22:54Speaker 2: for the mall. They point to the real estate there,
- 22:58Speaker 2: the real estate that is the parking lot. Think about
- 23:01Speaker 2: what it costs to maintain them, light them, plow them,
- 23:06Speaker 2: secure them. That money's got to come from somewhere, and
- 23:09Speaker 2: they're thinking that this money can come from the premium
- 23:12Speaker 2: parking spots.
- 23:12Speaker 5: Yeah, charge people more for a place they aren't going
- 23:15Speaker 5: to anymore.
- 23:16Speaker 1: That's smart.
- 23:17Speaker 9: I know.
- 23:17Speaker 1: That's a really good deal right there.
- 23:19Speaker 2: I don't know about that. Our good friends over at
- 23:21Speaker 2: Park Meadows Retail Resort, that place is packed all the time. Well,
- 23:23Speaker 2: they don't charge for parking.
- 23:24Speaker 3: Packed all the time, though.
- 23:25Speaker 1: They don't charge, though.
- 23:27Speaker 2: That's what I'm saying. They got valet.
- 23:29Speaker 5: Yeah, but again, that's like if you want to drive
- 23:31Speaker 5: your car up and then they park it for you.
- 23:33Speaker 2: That's different.
- 23:34Speaker 4: That's a service that I'm into.
- 23:35Speaker 1: That is different. If you're willing to do that, then...
- 23:38Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 23:39Speaker 2: You roll over there on a weekend and it's wall-to-wall
- 23:42Speaker 2: cars front to back. I kind of like the two
- 23:46Speaker 2: bucks or whatever. If I'm just there for an hour,
- 23:48Speaker 2: it's worth two bucks for me.
- 23:49Speaker 4: Because it brings you to the front row right away.
- 23:50Speaker 1: Right away.
- 23:51Speaker 2: And especially if you're a mom with a bunch of
- 23:53Speaker 2: kids and your hands are full with strollers and all that.
- 23:56Speaker 4: Shoot, am I into this now?
- 23:57Speaker 1: I'm into it.
- 23:58Speaker 2: Two bucks to be up close with a van full
- 24:01Speaker 2: of kids?
- 24:01Speaker 10: No.
- 24:02Speaker 2: Hells to the yes.
- 24:02Speaker 5: I already park far away so I can get my
- 24:05Speaker 5: steps in. That's something I do already. So I don't
- 24:08Speaker 5: need to park close. I just feel like they're asking
- 24:11Speaker 5: the wrong people to pay for parking.
- 24:13Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 24:14Speaker 2: If you've got some extra cash, it might be worth it.
- 24:16Speaker 2: I got to ask you, is that tanning place that
- 24:18Speaker 2: you go to in a mall?
- 24:19Speaker 8: No.
- 24:20Speaker 4: No, no, no.
- 24:21Speaker 1: It's just a regular little building.
- 24:23Speaker 5: They don't ask you to pay for parking.
- 24:25Speaker 1: I did go there yesterday, though.
- 24:27Speaker 6: Did you?
- 24:27Speaker 5: I did go there, and I came across the lovely
- 24:30Speaker 5: young lady who does my tan, and I cannot remember
- 24:33Speaker 5: her name. this has happened to me for weeks now.
- 24:36Speaker 5: Like I cannot remember this poor woman's name. And I
- 24:40Speaker 5: am like, I try and do the trick where I
- 24:41Speaker 5: go through the alphabet. I'm like, is it an A?
- 24:44Speaker 4: Is it a B? Is it a C?
- 24:45Speaker 5: I even asked her the first time I met her,
- 24:48Speaker 5: I try and do this trick where I'm like, can
- 24:49Speaker 5: you spell your name for me? Especially if it's a
- 24:51Speaker 5: unique name, that way I can get a visual in
- 24:54Speaker 5: my brain. And that helps me retain it a little better.
- 24:56Speaker 5: Didn't help in this case. Cause I cannot remember this
- 25:00Speaker 5: poor woman's name. So I'm sitting there and I'm just like, Gosh,
- 25:03Speaker 5: do I call the owner and ask her?
- 25:05Speaker 1: I feel really sheepish if I do that, you know?
- 25:08Speaker 4: No name tag or anything?
- 25:10Speaker 1: Then it hit me. You know what I'm going to do?
- 25:12Speaker 5: Instead of paying for the tip with cash, I'm going
- 25:16Speaker 5: to ask her for her Venmo.
- 25:18Speaker 2: Yes.
- 25:19Speaker 1: Genius. I figured it out. So I tipped her through Venmo,
- 25:23Speaker 1: and I figured out, what up, Lene? There it is.
- 25:27Speaker 4: Now I know.
- 25:28Speaker 1: Now I know her name, and I just was– I
- 25:30Speaker 1: felt so– Lene all day. I felt so smart in
- 25:33Speaker 1: that moment. I was like, look at you.
- 25:34Speaker 3: Watch you be a nickname or something.
- 25:36Speaker 4: No, it's not.
- 25:36Speaker 1: But a problem arose. You found a solution. You took it.
- 25:40Speaker 5: We came out strong on the other end of this situation.
- 25:43Speaker 5: I was just very proud of myself in that moment
- 25:45Speaker 5: because– I forget people's name all the time. And so
- 25:49Speaker 5: this little trick. I just say, hey, can I give
- 25:51Speaker 5: you a dollar? I don't know how I'm going to
- 25:54Speaker 5: get around it in the future. But for this moment
- 25:57Speaker 5: where I needed to tip her, it worked perfectly. But
- 26:00Speaker 5: if you ever come across that and you can't remember
- 26:02Speaker 5: somebody's name.
- 26:04Speaker 4: Just ask for their Venmo.
- 26:05Speaker 1: Can I send you a dollar? We don't have it.
- 26:07Speaker 2: I don't have Venmo.
- 26:08Speaker 1: I like you so much.
- 26:09Speaker 5: I want to send you a dollar. Like, what's your name?
- 26:12Speaker 5: What's your phone number? And then it'll tell you their name.
- 26:15Speaker 5: Or you can just scan it. You know, people just
- 26:17Speaker 5: give you their Venmo?
- 26:18Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, a little QR code. You scan it.
- 26:19Speaker 1: Gee, I'm just telling you.
- 26:20Speaker 2: That's good.
- 26:21Speaker 3: I have a fake name in my Venmo, so that
- 26:23Speaker 3: wouldn't work for me.
- 26:25Speaker 2: But yeah, that's not bad.
- 26:26Speaker 1: You have a fake name?
- 26:27Speaker 4: I do.
- 26:27Speaker 2: I don't have my name in my Venmo.
- 26:29Speaker 3: I use a fake name. Because you can change your
- 26:31Speaker 3: profile name to.
- 26:32Speaker 2: Anything you want.
- 26:32Speaker 1: Why would you do that? Privacy.
- 26:37Speaker 2: I know there's privacy settings as well, which I've got
- 26:40Speaker 2: those locked down. But I just do it.
- 26:42Speaker 3: It's a privacy thing, so nobody can go on there
- 26:44Speaker 3: and find me.
- 26:44Speaker 1: Your whole life is broadcasted to people.
- 26:47Speaker 2: I know, so that's why there's little chunks of my
- 26:50Speaker 2: life I want private.
- 26:51Speaker 1: Your Venmo account, that's it for you?
- 26:53Speaker 3: That is it for me, so nobody can get on there.
- 26:56Speaker 1: Learn something new. I know, right?
- 26:58Speaker 2: Now, is this going to be a problem if you
- 27:00Speaker 2: go back in and you don't remember her name for
- 27:03Speaker 2: the Venmo?
- 27:04Speaker 3: I guess you can go into recents, right?
- 27:06Speaker 5: Here's the thing for me now. I've been so embarrassed,
- 27:09Speaker 5: and this has been such a thing for me. I
- 27:10Speaker 5: will not forget this person's name. I see it in
- 27:13Speaker 5: my brain. I see how she spells it. She spells
- 27:16Speaker 5: it uniquely. And so I will. This is something I
- 27:19Speaker 5: will hang on to for the rest of my life.
- 27:20Speaker 5: I'll probably wake up in the middle of the night screaming.
- 27:23Speaker 2: Your neighbors are like, what is going on? What's happening
- 27:28Speaker 2: over there? I didn't know this, but I guess Katie's
- 27:32Speaker 2: been talking with the devils.
- 27:34Speaker 1: Well, no, it's not the devil.
- 27:36Speaker 5: It's a trend on TikTok where, you know, where you
- 27:39Speaker 5: ask chat GPT a prompt and then it spits something
- 27:42Speaker 5: back out and you post it on TikTok and everybody.
- 27:45Speaker 3: Talks about it.
- 27:46Speaker 5: The latest one is you ask chat GPT, say this
- 27:50Speaker 5: to it. The devil hugged me and started crying. I
- 27:53Speaker 5: asked him, why are you crying?
- 27:55Speaker 1: He whispered.
- 27:57Speaker 5: And then whatever chat GPT tells you is what you post.
- 28:00Speaker 4: Oh, it is intense.
- 28:01Speaker 2: Is this going to give me all sorts of like
- 28:02Speaker 2: weird satanic content now on my chat?
- 28:05Speaker 5: Honestly, it makes you feel a little bit about like,
- 28:07Speaker 5: second guessing your own choices as a person.
- 28:09Speaker 2: Josh, you go first.
- 28:11Speaker 4: Oh, heck no. I got mini Jesus over here with me.
- 28:14Speaker 5: No, no, no, no. I didn't think Josh would just
- 28:17Speaker 5: jump on this trend at all, but I did. I
- 28:20Speaker 5: asked it and it said, he whispered, because everyone blames
- 28:23Speaker 5: me for the darkness, but no one ever asks who
- 28:27Speaker 5: turned off their own light.
- 28:29Speaker 1: This is very deep. It goes deep.
- 28:31Speaker 5: I mean, I thought it was just going to be
- 28:33Speaker 5: some kind of entertaining, funny kind of thing.
- 28:35Speaker 1: Me too.
- 28:36Speaker 5: But the responses that people are getting are a lot
- 28:39Speaker 5: like that. Like somebody posted, he whispered, because I gave
- 28:45Speaker 5: you all the pieces to build your own paradise and
- 28:49Speaker 5: you used every single one to craft your personal hell.
- 28:53Speaker 1: Weird. We're doing it wrong, apparently.
- 28:55Speaker 3: All right, I'm going to bite.
- 28:56Speaker 1: Hold on.
- 28:57Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 28:58Speaker 2: The devil hugged me and started crying. I asked him,
- 29:01Speaker 2: why are you crying?
- 29:02Speaker 3: He whispered, dot, dot, dot.
- 29:05Speaker 2: I'm just thinking.
- 29:07Speaker 9: Okay.
- 29:08Speaker 2: What did it say? Mine says, because I've spent my
- 29:10Speaker 2: whole life trying to ruin people, and you're doing a
- 29:13Speaker 2: better job than I ever could. What the frick?
- 29:19Speaker 1: Coming for you.
- 29:22Speaker 5: What?
- 29:23Speaker 1: Coming for charity.
- 29:26Speaker 2: I hate this trend. You're doing a better job than
- 29:30Speaker 2: I ever could?
- 29:32Speaker 3: Screw you, ChatGPT. I'm going to say that and see
- 29:35Speaker 3: what it says.
- 29:36Speaker 5: Screw you, chad what does it say what does chad
- 29:39Speaker 5: gbt say to you.
- 29:43Speaker 3: Chad gbt don't play fair.

- 32:13Speaker 9: We are going to school.
- 32:17Speaker 2: School time? Oh, yeah, right now, currently, yes.
- 32:20Speaker 1: It is school time.
- 32:22Speaker 2: My note on the screen says you have parent night tonight.
- 32:24Speaker 2: Is that right?
- 32:26Speaker 9: That is correct.
- 32:26Speaker 2: Yeah, I've got that tonight as well, where you go
- 32:28Speaker 2: in and kind of meet the teachers and all that.
- 32:32Speaker 9: I'm sorry, what?
- 32:33Speaker 2: I have that tonight as well, the little back-to-school parent
- 32:35Speaker 2: night thing tonight. So I'll be there.
- 32:38Speaker 9: Lots of fun.
- 32:39Speaker 2: Oh, no. False.
- 32:40Speaker 5: You guys both sound so excited.
- 32:41Speaker 2: False.
- 32:44Speaker 1: Both of you are like, ah.
- 32:45Speaker 2: Yeah, it's pretty exciting stuff, Melissa. Yes, I do.
- 32:47Speaker 1: Pretty exciting.
- 32:49Speaker 2: All right, who's your kiddo? You want to give him
- 32:50Speaker 2: a shout-out?
- 32:51Speaker 10: Yeah, it's Noah.
- 32:52Speaker 2: All right, Noah. Get to school. Learn something today. All right,
- 32:56Speaker 2: I got a fast five for you, Melissa. In 10 seconds,
- 33:00Speaker 2: let me pull up my list. I need five famous drummers. Go.
- 33:07Speaker 9: Ringo Starr. Yeah.
- 33:10Speaker 2: One.
- 33:11Speaker 5: Oh, my gosh.
- 33:12Speaker 1: I have none.
- 33:12Speaker 2: Well, you got one.
- 33:15Speaker 4: We got one.
- 33:16Speaker 1: We got one.
- 33:18Speaker 2: Dave Grohl, Travis Barker, Lars from Metallica.
- 33:22Speaker 3: Phil Collins, epic drummer, bro.
- 33:24Speaker 2: Oh, Collins.
- 33:25Speaker 9: Yeah, I should have had that one.
- 33:26Speaker 2: Oh, man.
- 33:27Speaker 3: Well, Melissa, you have a super dupe stay. Thanks for
- 33:30Speaker 3: calling in.
- 33:31Speaker 9: Thank you so much. Have a great day.
- 33:32Speaker 4: Thank you.
- 33:33Speaker 9: Bye.
- 33:34Speaker 2: Summer. Good morning. I love the name Summer. I really do.
- 33:40Speaker 9: Son of my mom.
- 33:41Speaker 2: Yeah, right? Do you like it?
- 33:44Speaker 9: I do. I think it fits me well. It was
- 33:46Speaker 9: either that or Norma. No offense to me, Norma.
- 33:50Speaker 2: Summer's better. Yeah.
- 33:52Speaker 9: Definitely.
- 33:53Speaker 2: What are you doing today, Summer?
- 33:54Speaker 9: I am heading to work.
- 33:57Speaker 2: Okay. What do you do?
- 33:59Speaker 9: I work in the medical field. I'm a medical assistant,
- 34:02Speaker 9: but also a patient advocate.
- 34:03Speaker 10: So I kind of.
- 34:04Speaker 9: Help people learn to navigate healthcare systems themselves and kind
- 34:08Speaker 9: of advocate for themselves.
- 34:10Speaker 7: Wow.
- 34:11Speaker 4: That's intense.
- 34:11Speaker 2: I love that you do that, Summer.
- 34:13Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 34:13Speaker 2: Thank you, because that's a nightmare.
- 34:15Speaker 4: It is.
- 34:16Speaker 5: Like, tackling those kind of tasks, it's daunting sometimes.
- 34:20Speaker 2: I'm glad you're doing it, Summer.
- 34:21Speaker 11: Oh, yeah.
- 34:22Speaker 9: It has its days, but, you know, it's rewarding.
- 34:25Speaker 1: Yeah, thank you for helping people with that.
- 34:27Speaker 2: And I feel like working with a summer in those
- 34:29Speaker 2: types of situations makes it a little bit easier.
- 34:31Speaker 1: Immediately, you're like, yay!
- 34:33Speaker 2: How can I be mad at summer when I can't
- 34:35Speaker 2: find my medical bills? Or why am I being charged this?
- 34:38Speaker 5: Right.
- 34:39Speaker 2: All right, so this is top of mind. This dude
- 34:41Speaker 2: just passed away yesterday. We'll see how you do, but
- 34:44Speaker 2: I need a famous guy. Five Tim Curry movies.
- 34:48Speaker 4: Go.
- 34:49Speaker 9: Okay, five Tim Curry movies. Let's do It. We're going
- 34:54Speaker 9: to do, oh, gosh. The Rocky Horror Picture Show.
- 34:58Speaker 2: You got three. I would have given you three there.
- 35:04Speaker 11: Oh, I should have known that.
- 35:06Speaker 2: Home Alone 2. He's very well known for that, working
- 35:08Speaker 2: that hotel desk. And then one of my personal favorite,
- 35:11Speaker 2: Muppets Treasure Island.
- 35:12Speaker 4: That's a good one.
- 35:13Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 35:13Speaker 2: A classic. He's got many. Summer, it was nice talking
- 35:16Speaker 2: to you. Have a super dupes day.
- 35:18Speaker 9: Thank you, you too, guys. Bye.
- 35:20Speaker 4: Bye.
- 35:21Speaker 8: Oh, we.
- 35:23Speaker 2: Got a Jen. Hi, Jen.
- 35:26Speaker 9: Hello.
- 35:26Speaker 1: Good morning.
- 35:27Speaker 2: Good morning.
- 35:27Speaker 3: My note on the screen says gardening. Are you gardening today?
- 35:31Speaker 9: Yeah, after work.
- 35:32Speaker 8: I got to pick my garden.
- 35:33Speaker 9: It's exploding.
- 35:34Speaker 2: Is it? You get a lot of zucchinis?
- 35:38Speaker 8: No zucchinis this year.
- 35:39Speaker 10: I'm drowning in cucumbers and tomatoes.
- 35:42Speaker 2: Are you the neighbor that goes around and gives all
- 35:44Speaker 2: the other neighbors her produce?
- 35:47Speaker 1: I definitely do that at work.
- 35:48Speaker 9: I come in with a bag of cucumbers and say,
- 35:50Speaker 9: who wants to take some home?
- 35:52Speaker 1: Awesome.
- 35:53Speaker 2: I had a neighbor like that who had an epic garden.
- 35:56Speaker 2: And sadly, he moved away. And I was so disappointed
- 35:59Speaker 2: because he would come over with like little baby cucumbers
- 36:02Speaker 2: that you can make pickles out of and tomatoes and
- 36:05Speaker 2: zucchini and squash.
- 36:07Speaker 4: And he moved.
- 36:08Speaker 1: I was like, oh, damn it.
- 36:09Speaker 5: I wish we had a co-worker who brought us their harvest.
- 36:13Speaker 8: That would be awesome.
- 36:15Speaker 2: Jen, bring us some cucumbers.
- 36:16Speaker 1: There we go.
- 36:19Speaker 2: Yeah. All right.
- 36:21Speaker 3: Again, very top of mind here.
- 36:23Speaker 2: And I feel like this shouldn't be too difficult since
- 36:25Speaker 2: these have been thrown around a million times over the
- 36:28Speaker 2: past day or so. But in 10 seconds, I need
- 36:31Speaker 2: five Dolly Parton songs.
- 36:34Speaker 4: Go.
- 36:35Speaker 5: Go.
- 36:36Speaker 9: Nine to five.
- 36:37Speaker 6: Yep.
- 36:38Speaker 9: Jolene.
- 36:38Speaker 2: Yep.
- 36:39Speaker 9: I Will Always Love You.
- 36:41Speaker 2: Oh, yeah.
- 36:43Speaker 6: Hurry.
- 36:44Speaker 8: Shoot.
- 36:47Speaker 2: Ah! Islands in the Stream was a big one, and
- 36:49Speaker 2: then Code of Many Colors.
- 36:51Speaker 5: So close.
- 36:54Speaker 4: Darn it.
- 36:55Speaker 2: You did pretty good, though, Jen. I'm impressed.
- 36:57Speaker 8: Yeah, you did.
- 36:57Speaker 2: Thank you.
- 36:58Speaker 6: All right.
- 36:59Speaker 10: Wish I had the Tim Curry question.
- 37:00Speaker 3: Oh, you would have got that one, huh?
- 37:01Speaker 1: All right.
- 37:02Speaker 2: We're going to let you go squeeze your cucumbers. Have
- 37:04Speaker 2: a good day.
- 37:05Speaker 9: Thank you, too.
- 37:06Speaker 2: Okay, bye.
- 37:06Speaker 1: Bye, Jen.
- 37:08Speaker 2: Cecilia. Hi, Cecilia.
- 37:11Speaker 8: Hi.
- 37:12Speaker 10: Hey.
- 37:12Speaker 2: You got parent-teacher night tonight as well?
- 37:15Speaker 9: I do.
- 37:16Speaker 4: It's so much fun.
- 37:16Speaker 10: I'm talking about my son right now.
- 37:17Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 37:18Speaker 2: I like to bring snacks to those. Stuff with really
- 37:22Speaker 2: loud rappers, you know. Pull it out of my pocket
- 37:26Speaker 2: while they're talking.
- 37:26Speaker 1: You said snacks for your teachers. You meant snacks for you.
- 37:29Speaker 2: Oh, yeah. I get bored of those things. I'm bringing
- 37:31Speaker 2: me a Kit Kat bar. And I'm not sharing. I'm
- 37:35Speaker 2: not snapping nothing off of that.
- 37:36Speaker 1: All right, Celia, you ready?
- 37:41Speaker 9: Yes.
- 37:41Speaker 2: Your letter is Q, as in Q-R-S. Q, five companies
- 37:47Speaker 2: that start with that letter Q. Go.
- 37:51Speaker 9: GQ, Maggie.
- 37:52Speaker 8: No, that's G.
- 37:52Speaker 9: Oh, God.
- 37:55Speaker 10: That's a hard one.
- 37:56Speaker 2: Really?
- 37:57Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 37:59Speaker 8: We got.
- 38:01Speaker 6: Oh, boy.
- 38:01Speaker 2: Time's up.
- 38:02Speaker 4: Time is up.
- 38:04Speaker 3: I think I'm going to hold on to that one
- 38:05Speaker 3: because there is a ton.
- 38:07Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 38:07Speaker 3: And I know I loved a delicious Quiznos sandwich back
- 38:10Speaker 3: in the day.
- 38:10Speaker 2: Oh, no.
- 38:12Speaker 1: Oh, Lord, no.
- 38:13Speaker 4: I can hear you, Jerry.
- 38:14Speaker 1: I need to clean it out with a Q-tip.
- 38:15Speaker 2: Yeah, right.
- 38:16Speaker 3: If you get tired, you can go to Equality Inn
- 38:18Speaker 3: and take a nap.
- 38:19Speaker 2: Celia, we're going to let you go.
- 38:22Speaker 8: Well, thank you for having me on.
- 38:23Speaker 2: Yeah, go eat yourself some Quaker Oats. Have a good day. Jerry.
- 38:26Speaker 6: Bye.
- 38:27Speaker 2: Maybe you're doing your taxes on Quicken or something.
- 38:30Speaker 1: There's so many. Da, da, da, da, da.
- 38:34Speaker 4: Leah.
- 38:37Speaker 1: Hello, good morning.
- 38:38Speaker 2: Good morning. The note on my screen says you're going
- 38:41Speaker 2: to Chili's tonight.
- 38:43Speaker 4: Yes, I am.
- 38:43Speaker 2: Going to get you some $ 5 Margs?
- 38:47Speaker 9: Yeah, probably.
- 38:49Speaker 2: I wonder what their Margarita of the Month is. Katie,
- 38:51Speaker 2: look that up.
- 38:52Speaker 1: Okay, I will.
- 38:53Speaker 3: See what Chili's Margarita of the Month is right now.
- 38:55Speaker 1: Leah, are you going to get the Nashville Hot Mott sticks?
- 38:57Speaker 1: Tell me you're going to get them.
- 38:58Speaker 11: I'm a baby, and I don't like spicy things, but
- 39:01Speaker 11: I like the.
- 39:03Speaker 8: Whatever the other sauce is, it's like a barbecue sauce
- 39:06Speaker 8: on those.
- 39:06Speaker 6: Okay.
- 39:07Speaker 11: Yeah.
- 39:07Speaker 9: They've got a few routes.
- 39:09Speaker 2: Oh, do they?
- 39:10Speaker 10: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 39:10Speaker 3: I'm a sucker for the classic, the old-timer with cheese.
- 39:14Speaker 4: That's a good one.
- 39:15Speaker 8: Yeah, that's good, too.
- 39:17Speaker 1: All right. August 2026 is the shark attack, Mark.
- 39:20Speaker 6: With the shark attack.
- 39:20Speaker 4: The shark's in it.
- 39:21Speaker 9: All right.
- 39:22Speaker 2: That was the fun one.
- 39:23Speaker 1: You're going to have a great time, Leah.
- 39:26Speaker 3: Sounds like you're going to have a headache tomorrow.
- 39:28Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 39:28Speaker 11: Yeah.
- 39:30Speaker 2: All right.
- 39:31Speaker 3: Really quick, before we get to Fast Five, why are
- 39:33Speaker 3: you going to Chili's tonight?
- 39:35Speaker 11: Oh, I'm just meeting up with some of my friends.
- 39:38Speaker 11: So we do like a monthly dinner.
- 39:40Speaker 4: Oh, that's fun.
- 39:40Speaker 3: That's fun.
- 39:42Speaker 2: This is like so much free publicity for Chili's. Do
- 39:45Speaker 2: you have their app? Because you get free chips and salsa. Yeah,
- 39:50Speaker 2: of course. You're an idiot if you turn that down.
- 39:52Speaker 9: Exactly.
- 39:53Speaker 2: You gotta get the free chips and salsa. Alright, in
- 39:56Speaker 2: ten seconds, Chili's girl. I need five characters. These can
- 40:00Speaker 2: be real, fictional, whoever. Five characters that have red hair. Go.
- 40:08Speaker 9: Oh, no. Um... Miss Frizzle.
- 40:13Speaker 2: Yes. Oh, no. Wendy from Wendy's. Strawberry shortcake.
- 40:23Speaker 1: Ariel.
- 40:24Speaker 2: Yeah, Ariel. There's so many. Leah, have fun at Chili's.
- 40:28Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 40:29Speaker 11: Thank you.
- 40:30Speaker 9: Okay, bye.
- 40:31Speaker 1: All right, bye.
- 40:32Speaker 2: Oh, my God.
- 40:32Speaker 1: Now I want Mott's sticks.
- 40:34Speaker 2: Stephanie.
- 40:36Speaker 7: Hello.
- 40:37Speaker 2: Will you hurry up and win this?
- 40:39Speaker 3: We're in one of those situations.
- 40:40Speaker 1: I would love to.
- 40:41Speaker 2: My God, this just goes on and on. What are
- 40:44Speaker 2: you doing today?
- 40:46Speaker 8: We're sitting outside of school, me and my girls.
- 40:50Speaker 2: All right.
- 40:51Speaker 8: Yeah, ready for the school day and playing some tennis later.
- 40:54Speaker 2: Give them a shout out. What are their names?
- 40:57Speaker 8: Olivia and Cameron.
- 40:58Speaker 2: Hi. Hey, girls. Are they doing hot lunch or cold
- 41:02Speaker 2: lunch today?
- 41:04Speaker 8: Oh, I think we have one of each. It's orange chicken.
- 41:07Speaker 1: They have orange chicken at school? Oh.
- 41:10Speaker 9: What?
- 41:11Speaker 3: I'd be hot lunch all day long today.
- 41:13Speaker 7: Right?
- 41:14Speaker 8: Yeah, totally.
- 41:15Speaker 2: What's wrong with that kid that's bringing cold lunch on
- 41:17Speaker 2: a day like today? Delicious.
- 41:20Speaker 8: She's picky. She likes orange chicken, just not from the school.
- 41:23Speaker 6: Oh, okay.
- 41:23Speaker 2: Yeah, I get that. All right. Okay, so I got
- 41:26Speaker 2: a food-related one. No help from the girls, all right?
- 41:29Speaker 2: This one, I guess, is kind of subjective. But give
- 41:33Speaker 2: me five foods that might be served alongside coleslaw.
- 41:40Speaker 4: Go.
- 41:41Speaker 8: Baked beans, pulled pork, salad, baked potatoes, sliders, burgers.
- 41:50Speaker 2: I think she said sliders and burgers at the end.
- 41:57Speaker 3: Yeah, you should have said, yeah, started with burgers and
- 41:59Speaker 3: hot dogs.
- 41:59Speaker 2: Come on.
- 42:00Speaker 1: But I mean. That was six total, along with the salad.
- 42:03Speaker 8: I think I got it.
- 42:04Speaker 2: You think? I don't know.
- 42:05Speaker 4: Salad?
- 42:06Speaker 1: You can have coleslaw alongside salad.
- 42:07Speaker 10: Oh, boy.
- 42:08Speaker 1: If you go to a barbecue, you load that plate up.
- 42:10Speaker 8: Yeah, you have all those things.
- 42:12Speaker 2: Really?
- 42:12Speaker 1: Yeah, absolutely.
- 42:13Speaker 2: You're like, honey, give me some coleslaw with a side
- 42:16Speaker 2: of salad.
- 42:16Speaker 1: She said six.
- 42:17Speaker 8: Absolutely.
- 42:18Speaker 1: She said the sliders and the burgers at the end there.
- 42:21Speaker 2: Well, it's not official.
- 42:22Speaker 9: Hey, Jeremy.
- 42:23Speaker 6: What?
- 42:24Speaker 8: Hey, Jeremy, I think you should play the Winnie Wins sound.
- 42:26Speaker 2: All right, you talked me into it.
- 42:33Speaker 1: Yes, Stephanie, you won Best 5 today.
- 42:37Speaker 8: Thank you.
- 42:38Speaker 2: Well done. Yeah, we'll give it to you. Why the
- 42:41Speaker 2: heck not? Like I said, it's fairly subjective. Well, you're
- 42:45Speaker 2: going to go have some fun. We're going to send
- 42:47Speaker 2: you off to go see Dave Matthews' band this weekend.
- 42:50Speaker 8: Oh, my gosh. I'm so excited.
- 42:52Speaker 2: It's going to be such a good concert. I've seen
- 42:54Speaker 2: him at Fiddler's, and dude rocks it. Him and the
- 42:56Speaker 2: boys and the band.
- 42:57Speaker 8: Love it.
- 42:59Speaker 2: Stephanie, I'm going to put you on hold. We're going
- 43:00Speaker 2: to come back and tell you how to get your
- 43:02Speaker 2: hands on those tickets. You have a super-dupe stay, and
- 43:04Speaker 2: thanks for calling in.
- 43:05Speaker 8: Thank you.
- 43:06Speaker 2: You guys, too.
- 43:08Speaker 8: Jerry, Katie, and Josh.
- 43:10Speaker 2: Mix 100. All right, so this morning as I'm getting
- 43:12Speaker 2: ready for work, I'm getting dressed and everything, and I'm
- 43:17Speaker 2: standing in the bathroom, and, you know, I'm getting ready
- 43:19Speaker 2: to put my socks on and stuff, and I look down,
- 43:23Speaker 2: and my feet are kind.
- 43:25Speaker 3: Of whitish, and it's kind of like I got this
- 43:29Speaker 3: chalkiness to a couple.
- 43:30Speaker 1: Like more than usual?
- 43:31Speaker 2: Yeah, a little chalkiness to my little piggies.
- 43:34Speaker 5: Mm-hmm.
- 43:35Speaker 2: I'm like, what is, ugh, you know?
- 43:39Speaker 3: And I reached down and.
- 43:39Speaker 2: I kind of scratched some of the white off my
- 43:42Speaker 2: big toenail, off the big little piggy, the little piggy
- 43:45Speaker 2: that went to market.
- 43:45Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 43:46Speaker 3: And I'm scratching, and I'm like, oh. And it's in
- 43:49Speaker 3: between my toes.
- 43:51Speaker 5: Oh.
- 43:52Speaker 2: And I went, I smelled it, and I go, oh. Well,
- 43:56Speaker 2: that's Greek yogurt. What?
- 44:00Speaker 4: Between the piggies?
- 44:01Speaker 3: It's just a little something that Nicole and I are
- 44:03Speaker 3: into right now.
- 44:04Speaker 1: That's not where it goes.
- 44:06Speaker 3: I had Greek yogurt on my little piggies this morning.
- 44:09Speaker 1: Talk about protein, Maxine.
- 44:11Speaker 2: So, of course, I had been stretching, so I put
- 44:13Speaker 2: my foot in my mouth and sucked it off to
- 44:15Speaker 2: get my protein. No, so yesterday afternoon, I forgot about this.
- 44:20Speaker 2: I was getting some stuff out of the fridge, okay?
- 44:24Speaker 2: And teetering right on the edge was a Costco-sized thing
- 44:29Speaker 2: of Greek yogurt.
- 44:30Speaker 3: And down it went.
- 44:32Speaker 4: Boom!
- 44:33Speaker 2: Hit the floor.
- 44:35Speaker 1: Explosion!
- 44:36Speaker 2: One of those things where you say so many cuss words.
- 44:40Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 44:41Speaker 2: Because the lid blew off. The side cracked open. I
- 44:45Speaker 2: kid you not, there was Greek yogurt all over the kitchen. Yeah.
- 44:49Speaker 2: All over it. And apparently I got a little in
- 44:53Speaker 2: my toes and I didn't know it and it just
- 44:58Speaker 2: dried overnight. So I woke up and I had chalky
- 45:01Speaker 2: Greek yogurt all over my feet. But have you ever
- 45:04Speaker 2: been in that circumstance when Something falls out of the fridge.
- 45:08Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 45:09Speaker 2: And it's just like a bomb went off.
- 45:11Speaker 5: Well, and you got to have like CSI come and
- 45:13Speaker 5: clean it up because you don't know where that splatter went.
- 45:16Speaker 1: It's like.
- 45:17Speaker 2: So just this morning.
- 45:18Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 45:19Speaker 2: Just this morning as I was getting ready, I went
- 45:21Speaker 2: down to investigate and there's still little splatters on the cabinets.
- 45:24Speaker 2: There's a little on the fridge still.
- 45:26Speaker 11: Yeah.
- 45:26Speaker 2: It's everywhere.
- 45:27Speaker 1: I've told you this.
- 45:28Speaker 5: Has happened to me in the morning because I don't
- 45:31Speaker 5: have my grip strength about me quite yet when I'm
- 45:33Speaker 5: like making my coffee. And I have dropped complete half
- 45:37Speaker 5: gallons of creamer.
- 45:39Speaker 1: On my floor at 4 in the morning.
- 45:42Speaker 5: And the only thing that's worse than cleaning up all
- 45:44Speaker 5: that is doing it at 4 in the morning.
- 45:46Speaker 1: Before you've had your coffee.
- 45:48Speaker 2: Because you're groggy.
- 45:49Speaker 1: Oh, it's the worst.
- 45:50Speaker 5: So I've spilled a thing of spaghetti sauce, which, again,
- 45:54Speaker 5: that's messy stuff right there, you know?
- 45:58Speaker 1: Yeah, this has happened to me multiple times.
- 46:00Speaker 2: The physics behind it, too, is fascinating.
- 46:02Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 46:03Speaker 3: When it hits, it goes everywhere.
- 46:06Speaker 1: In every direction.
- 46:08Speaker 2: I mean, it's hitting the ceiling.
- 46:09Speaker 3: It's hitting the cabinets. It's on your feet.
- 46:13Speaker 2: One of the worst ones that ever happened to me
- 46:14Speaker 2: was I made some chili in the crock pot. You know,
- 46:18Speaker 2: and there's a big, I mean, a big bowl left
- 46:20Speaker 2: of the chili from the night before. And I opened
- 46:22Speaker 2: up the fridge and that baby flew out of there
- 46:24Speaker 2: and hit the ground and the bowl shattered too. So
- 46:27Speaker 2: then you got shattered glass mixed in with chili that
- 46:31Speaker 2: floods the whole house.
- 46:32Speaker 4: And that just doesn't smell good at that point either. Yeah.
- 46:35Speaker 1: And now you got to move.
- 46:37Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 46:37Speaker 3: Now you have to put a house on the market.
- 46:39Speaker 2: You got to put that on Zillow that there was
- 46:41Speaker 2: an incident in the kitchen with chili.
- 46:43Speaker 4: Smells like chili.
- 46:44Speaker 1: Declare the chili incident before you sell it.
- 46:46Speaker 2: Lord help you. Like, like, um, like you said with
- 46:49Speaker 2: creamer or milk or anything that's like dairy based, if
- 46:52Speaker 2: you don't get it all, like, and if it's going
- 46:54Speaker 2: under the fridge, That's going to be stinky in a
- 46:57Speaker 2: few days.
- 46:57Speaker 1: And it gets in between the stove and the counter.
- 47:00Speaker 5: That stuff will find a way to make its way
- 47:03Speaker 5: into every crook and cranny.
- 47:04Speaker 1: Oh, and dairy is smelly.
- 47:07Speaker 2: Mom drama, mom drama. Llama, llama, mom drama. Oh, this
- 47:12Speaker 2: is so good. There's always so much drama going on
- 47:15Speaker 2: amongst the moms at school, I feel like.
- 47:18Speaker 3: And this one, I think, takes the cake or takes
- 47:21Speaker 3: the Oreo, rather.
- 47:23Speaker 2: There's a viral social media phenomenon going on right now
- 47:26Speaker 2: called Oreo Gate. Now, it all started when a creator
- 47:31Speaker 2: named Ashley shared screenshots of a kindergarten class group chat
- 47:37Speaker 2: where another mother named Michelle... is demanding that all the
- 47:44Speaker 2: other moms stop packing Oreos in their children's lunches.
- 47:49Speaker 1: And other junk food stuff, right?
- 47:51Speaker 2: Yeah, specifically focusing on Oreos, though, because Oreos are not
- 47:55Speaker 2: allowed in their house. And her daughter, Ava, came home
- 48:00Speaker 2: crying because the other kids in her class have Oreo
- 48:04Speaker 2: cookies and she wasn't allowed to eat them at home. Now,
- 48:08Speaker 2: there's no allergies or other school rules involved, just a
- 48:13Speaker 2: disagreement over household boundaries. Now, some of the other moms
- 48:17Speaker 2: are starting to push back, but listen to this. Here's
- 48:20Speaker 2: what Michelle did over the cookies. Michelle emailed the kindergarten
- 48:25Speaker 2: teacher demanding that the school implement a strict approved snack list,
- 48:31Speaker 2: and the school flatly denied her request. Then, unwilling to
- 48:36Speaker 2: accept defeat, she reportedly got into the school somehow, maybe
- 48:41Speaker 2: doing something in the classrooms, and she actually searched through
- 48:45Speaker 2: some of the other children's lunch boxes to see what
- 48:48Speaker 2: was in there, looking for Oreos. She demanded that the
- 48:53Speaker 2: school and the teacher seat her daughter, Ava, away from
- 48:58Speaker 2: any of the Oreo lovers during lunchtime so Ava would
- 49:02Speaker 2: not be tempted to And the other moms are fired
- 49:07Speaker 2: up over this. Yeah. They're like, what the hell are
- 49:10Speaker 2: you doing, Michelle? You can't tell us what we can
- 49:12Speaker 2: and cannot pack in our kids' lunches. Now, furious over this,
- 49:19Speaker 2: a separate. uh text thread was formed amongst some of
- 49:23Speaker 2: the other mom squad members and here's what they did
- 49:28Speaker 2: during the sidebar chat they all agreed to collectively pack
- 49:33Speaker 2: Two or more Oreos in every single kid's lunch the
- 49:39Speaker 2: next day. So they upped the amount of Oreos. And
- 49:43Speaker 2: one mother intentionally upgraded her kid to double stuffed Oreos
- 49:49Speaker 2: to maximize Michelle's frustration. I am loving the drama back
- 49:55Speaker 2: and forth here.
- 49:56Speaker 5: Right?
- 49:57Speaker 2: So that's kind of the question out there this morning. Like,
- 50:01Speaker 2: does Michelle have a leg to stand on here with
- 50:04Speaker 2: demanding that the school, the teachers, these other moms stop
- 50:08Speaker 2: permitting these junk food options in the lunches?
- 50:12Speaker 3: Because it makes her daughter sad?
- 50:14Speaker 5: Are you telling me Michelle actually went into the school
- 50:17Speaker 5: and looked through kids' lunches?
- 50:19Speaker 2: Sounds like it. That's what the story says.
- 50:21Speaker 1: Michelle's got control issues, I think.
- 50:23Speaker 2: And then what's she doing? Taking the Oreos out and
- 50:25Speaker 2: stealing them?
- 50:26Speaker 5: Exactly.
- 50:26Speaker 2: And throwing them in the trash?
- 50:27Speaker 1: No, you know, she's eating those Oreos.
- 50:30Speaker 2: Is that what it is?
- 50:34Speaker 1: You know, you're eating those cookies. That's funny.
- 50:39Speaker 2: Anyway, I'm I'm loving this back and forth. I'm loving
- 50:42Speaker 2: reading about all this. And I'm I know there's probably
- 50:46Speaker 2: people out there on Michelle's side saying, you know what? One,
- 50:50Speaker 2: you got to think about kids health anyway, because that
- 50:52Speaker 2: is consistently lists. On some of the worst products that
- 50:56Speaker 2: you can eat is the Oreo because the amount of
- 50:58Speaker 2: food dye in it and food coloring.
- 51:00Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 51:01Speaker 2: So I know there's people out there that are like,
- 51:03Speaker 2: you know what, Michelle's probably right. There should be stricter
- 51:07Speaker 2: guidelines in these schools.
- 51:08Speaker 5: Yeah, Michelle's right about her own kid, but Michelle has
- 51:12Speaker 5: no right to preach her judgment on all the other
- 51:15Speaker 5: children who aren't hers.
- 51:17Speaker 1: That's my opinion about that.
- 51:19Speaker 2: I know, but as a courtesy, don't you think the
- 51:21Speaker 2: other moms should just kind of band together and be like,
- 51:23Speaker 2: you know what, as a courtesy, we're all, you know,
- 51:26Speaker 2: it's the community. It takes the village. shouldn't they all
- 51:30Speaker 2: just be like, all right, we'll just stop packing Oreos.
- 51:32Speaker 2: Our kids probably shouldn't be eating those anyway.
- 51:34Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 51:36Speaker 5: I think that's a huge reach of an ask for Michelle.
- 51:40Speaker 5: I think that's way too much for her to ask.
- 51:43Speaker 5: And truthfully, I feel like, you know, I have stopped
- 51:47Speaker 5: having expectations for other people. Because when you stop, Michelle,
- 51:51Speaker 5: expecting everyone to do what you expect them to do,
- 51:53Speaker 5: your life gets a lot easier, you know? And so
- 51:56Speaker 5: I think that, again, Michelle has a problem with control,
- 51:59Speaker 5: and that is the real issue here, not what the
- 52:01Speaker 5: kids are eating.
- 52:02Speaker 1: It's about Michelle.
- 52:03Speaker 2: It's a big ask on her part, but it's the whole,
- 52:05Speaker 2: you know, you don't get it unless you ask for it, too. So,
- 52:08Speaker 2: I mean, she's putting herself out there.
- 52:09Speaker 1: I guess.
- 52:10Speaker 2: What do you think? What side are you on? Are
- 52:13Speaker 2: you on Michelle's side who is saying, hey, we need
- 52:16Speaker 2: to ban Oreos and all the lunches? please help another
- 52:20Speaker 2: mom out. Or are you on the side of Ashley
- 52:23Speaker 2: and her other mom squad who is just packing double
- 52:26Speaker 2: stuffs now and saying, screw you, baby.
- 52:28Speaker 1: I love Ashley.
- 52:32Speaker 2: Now you get five Oreos. I mean, that's bad on
- 52:35Speaker 2: the kid. Then the kid's pounding down five Oreos at lunch,
- 52:38Speaker 2: and they shouldn't be doing that either.
- 52:40Speaker 1: And here's some Gushers.
- 52:41Speaker 4: Yeah, right.
- 52:42Speaker 2: Wash it down with Diet Coke or something. Here is Sarah. Hi, Sarah.
- 52:46Speaker 2: Welcome to the show.
- 52:48Speaker 9: Hi, thanks for having me.
- 52:49Speaker 2: Oh, you betcha. Okay, so whose side are you on?
- 52:51Speaker 2: Are you on side Oreo, or are you on side
- 52:55Speaker 2: no Oreo, or side double stuff?
- 52:59Speaker 9: Well, I'm on side double stuff, but I also.
- 53:01Speaker 8: Think there's a subtext that we're missing.
- 53:03Speaker 4: Okay.
- 53:05Speaker 9: I think Michelle is trying to prevent her daughter from
- 53:08Speaker 9: feeling sad.
- 53:10Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 53:10Speaker 10: That she doesn't have the Oreos.
- 53:12Speaker 8: And I think parents do that all the time, but
- 53:14Speaker 8: it's completely unrealistic.
- 53:16Speaker 2: It is. Can't you just find something that makes Ava
- 53:19Speaker 2: happy in her lunch and just give her more of
- 53:21Speaker 2: that then?
- 53:22Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 53:23Speaker 9: Yeah, or teach her how to process sadness.
- 53:26Speaker 1: There's also that.
- 53:27Speaker 2: You're going to have sadness all through your life, sweet Ava.
- 53:29Speaker 1: Wait until you're an adult.
- 53:31Speaker 2: Suck it up.
- 53:32Speaker 6: 100%.
- 53:32Speaker 9: It's Oreos now. It's losing a job the next time.
- 53:36Speaker 2: Right. Exactly. That's exactly it. Losing a pet. Losing a friend.
- 53:41Speaker 2: This is minor in the world of sadness, right?
- 53:43Speaker 1: It really is. 100%.
- 53:45Speaker 2: So I am putting you on team double stuff. No,
- 53:49Speaker 2: don't cave to Michelle's wishes, right?
- 53:53Speaker 10: And add the Gushers.
- 53:54Speaker 1: Yes, Michelle.
- 53:56Speaker 2: Plus Gushers.
- 53:58Speaker 1: Sarah knows what's up. You've got to listen to Sarah, Michelle.
- 54:00Speaker 2: Sarah, thank you so.
- 54:01Speaker 1: Much for calling in.
- 54:03Speaker 2: Here is Chris. Hi, Chris.
- 54:06Speaker 9: Hi.
- 54:07Speaker 10: We'll go ahead and say I'm definitely team Double Stuff.
- 54:11Speaker 10: No spoiler there.
- 54:13Speaker 1: Just want to start it with that.
- 54:14Speaker 2: I'd like to announce to the entire Denver Metro that
- 54:16Speaker 2: Chris loves Double Stuff.
- 54:19Speaker 4: All right, buddy.
- 54:20Speaker 2: What are your thoughts on this, though?
- 54:22Speaker 10: I want to also add they do have healthier options
- 54:25Speaker 10: to where you can actually trick your kid. They think
- 54:28Speaker 10: they're eating unhealthy snacks, but they're actually eating plant-based stuff
- 54:32Speaker 10: and don't even know it.
- 54:34Speaker 2: Oh, now you're really going to piss that poor Ava off.
- 54:35Speaker 1: Do they have plant-based Oreos now?
- 54:37Speaker 6: Yuck.
- 54:39Speaker 2: Yuck all day long.
- 54:41Speaker 4: How dare you even bring that up?
- 54:45Speaker 10: And get them to actually sneak healthier options into their child.
- 54:49Speaker 10: All right.
- 54:50Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 54:51Speaker 2: Kids are pretty smart. They're going to be like, what
- 54:53Speaker 2: is this crap? This tastes like a plant. But in general, Chris,
- 55:00Speaker 2: like besides the healthier options, which side are you on team?
- 55:04Speaker 3: Well, you are on team double stuff. So what's your
- 55:06Speaker 3: reasoning behind that?
- 55:08Speaker 10: Well, I'm kind of anti just some weird, creepy parents
- 55:12Speaker 10: sneaking into kids' lunch boxes and touching all their food
- 55:16Speaker 10: and spreading COVID-19. Yes!
- 55:18Speaker 4: Is that what they're doing? That's odd.
- 55:21Speaker 1: Michelle's got issues, right, Chris? Like, that's an odd thing.
- 55:25Speaker 10: She's a little cray-cray.
- 55:26Speaker 4: Yes, she is!
- 55:27Speaker 2: She's off a rocker. She's a little sus, as the
- 55:30Speaker 2: kids say. All right, Chris, we got you on Team
- 55:33Speaker 2: Double Stuff. We appreciate you calling in. Here's Marcy. Hi, Marcy.
- 55:38Speaker 9: Hello. How are you today?
- 55:40Speaker 2: Well, we're kind of craving some Oreos now. I know.
- 55:43Speaker 9: I mean, me too. It's one of my favorites. You
- 55:46Speaker 9: know what? I'm a dietician, and I think it's insane
- 55:49Speaker 9: to not eat Oreos. I think it's all part of
- 55:53Speaker 9: a healthy diet, putting everything in there. And to start
- 55:56Speaker 9: doing that, you're causing some eating disorders for your kiddo.
- 55:59Speaker 9: Let it go. Figure out what's going to make your
- 56:01Speaker 9: kid happy. And what are you going to do when
- 56:03Speaker 9: the kid goes to high school? What are you going
- 56:05Speaker 9: to have the kids do then? Like every step is
- 56:08Speaker 9: going to be harder and harder for this poor kid. Yeah.
- 56:11Speaker 8: Right.
- 56:11Speaker 2: You're not gonna be able to monitor it in high
- 56:13Speaker 2: school at all. I remember in high school, I had
- 56:15Speaker 2: French fries every single day for like four years.
- 56:17Speaker 1: That vending machine saw me daily, Marcy. Like it was, you.
- 56:22Speaker 9: Couldn't stop me. Seriously, model, model your behavior at home
- 56:26Speaker 9: and then let her learn how to eat and be social. Yeah.
- 56:32Speaker 9: You're putting her in a social box by herself.
- 56:35Speaker 2: She's alienating her child for sure.
- 56:37Speaker 1: I think so.
- 56:39Speaker 2: All day long. I think so. And this is coming
- 56:41Speaker 2: from a dietician right here.
- 56:43Speaker 9: This is coming from a dietician, yes. And are you
- 56:47Speaker 9: allowed to go through other kids' backpacks?
- 56:49Speaker 6: I know.
- 56:49Speaker 2: I think she was caught, so yeah. Cuckoo party of one.
- 56:55Speaker 9: I think that's a bigger issue than the Oreo.
- 56:57Speaker 2: I agree.
- 56:59Speaker 3: Marcy, what are your thoughts on the plant-based Oreos?
- 57:02Speaker 1: You know what?
- 57:02Speaker 9: If you want them, have them. But I'm all about
- 57:05Speaker 9: if you're going to eat it, eat the real thing.
- 57:06Speaker 4: Absolutely.
- 57:07Speaker 2: I'd rather throw myself into traffic than to eat the
- 57:09Speaker 2: plant-based one.
- 57:11Speaker 9: I just want the Oreo, dip it in the milk,
- 57:14Speaker 9: and call it a day.
- 57:16Speaker 3: Marcy, we appreciate your call so very much.
- 57:19Speaker 2: We are out of time, but I can tell you
- 57:20Speaker 2: right now, everybody else on hold is essentially on Team
- 57:23Speaker 2: Double Stuff.
- 57:24Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 57:25Speaker 3: So don't cave to crazy Michelle.
- 57:28Speaker 2: Don't do it.
- 57:29Speaker 5: No.
- 57:30Speaker 2: Thank you so much for your calls and comments today,
- 57:32Speaker 2: you guys. I hope this one brought you a smile.
- 57:34Speaker 2: With JKJ here at Mix.
- 57:39Speaker 7: That sound right there means it's time for a Mix
- 57:42Speaker 7: 100 sports report. Getting you updated on all the big
- 57:45Speaker 7: sports news of the day. Points and stats and baseball bats.
- 57:50Speaker 1: Because it's sports.
- 57:53Speaker 2: Josh, what's going on over there at Coors Field?
- 57:55Speaker 4: I love how that voice has evolved over this.
- 57:57Speaker 2: It changes every day, doesn't it?
- 57:59Speaker 4: I love it.
- 58:01Speaker 6: The Rockies are in a pretty historic losing slump now.
- 58:05Speaker 4: They've lost seven in a row. They did win a
- 58:06Speaker 4: couple nights ago.
- 58:07Speaker 6: But in order to keep fans around at the stadium,
- 58:10Speaker 6: they've had to really kind of think outside the box
- 58:12Speaker 6: in the food that they've brought in. At the beginning
- 58:14Speaker 6: of this season, they brought in the 9-9-9 challenge where
- 58:17Speaker 6: you drink nine beers, eat nine hot dogs. They brought
- 58:20Speaker 6: in the ballpark Dubai cinnamon roll, the pizza donuts, the
- 58:23Speaker 6: brisket taco. Well, they're actually bringing in something new with
- 58:27Speaker 6: only 16 home games left in the season. It's called
- 58:30Speaker 6: a buffalo chicken donut, and it is a glazed donut
- 58:34Speaker 6: topped with buffalo chicken and the buffalo sauce and then
- 58:37Speaker 6: a cream ranch on the top as well.
- 58:41Speaker 4: It actually looks kind of appetizing. I know your face, Katie,
- 58:44Speaker 4: right now, but if you look at it, it's something
- 58:46Speaker 4: I might try.
- 58:47Speaker 2: There's a Hidden Valley Ranch party in my mouth.
- 58:50Speaker 5: So Parlor Donuts does something like that, and I've wanted
- 58:53Speaker 5: to try them so bad.
- 58:54Speaker 2: Chicken on a donut?
- 58:55Speaker 1: A pizza donut. They do all the savory donuts. They
- 58:58Speaker 1: have a whole lineup of them.
- 58:59Speaker 2: I'm not mad.
- 59:00Speaker 1: At first, I was like, a buffalo chicken donut.
- 59:02Speaker 2: I want it stuffed, though. I would rather have the
- 59:05Speaker 2: chicken inside than on top.
- 59:06Speaker 1: It's not stuffed.
- 59:09Speaker 2: Oh, yeah. the hole.
- 59:11Speaker 4: It is.
- 59:11Speaker 2: It looks like it's just sitting on top of the donut.
- 59:14Speaker 4: Well, it goes in, too.
- 59:16Speaker 2: I'll settle down over there, middle schooler. Sorry. It's all
- 59:22Speaker 2: sitting on top. It does look like they jam it
- 59:25Speaker 2: all in the middle of that donut, though, and it's
- 59:26Speaker 2: like oozing out.
- 59:27Speaker 1: It's going to get all messy. You're going to have
- 59:29Speaker 1: to fold that baby.
- 59:30Speaker 2: In half anyway. I want it in the donut.
- 59:31Speaker 4: It looks good to me.
- 59:32Speaker 2: Baked in the donut. You know how like Pizza Hut
- 59:34Speaker 2: does the stuffed crust pizza?
- 59:35Speaker 9: Yes.
- 59:36Speaker 3: We need a stuffed donut full of the buffalo chicken.
- 59:38Speaker 4: That's what I want. It's a kolache. That's what a
- 59:40Speaker 4: kolache is.
- 59:40Speaker 1: The Bismarck donut.
- 59:41Speaker 5: That's what we call it up in North Dakota is
- 59:43Speaker 5: the Bismarck donuts filled with stuff.
- 59:45Speaker 1: We just want ours filled with buffalo chicken.
- 59:47Speaker 4: Color me intrigued. I think I'd try it. I would, too.
- 59:49Speaker 2: How much is it?
- 59:50Speaker 4: Ooh, they don't have a price here. I'm assuming it's expensive.
- 59:54Speaker 1: It's probably $ 25 minimum.
- 59:55Speaker 2: Oh, God, no. You know?
- 59:57Speaker 4: Well, that's more expensive than the tickets are now.
- 59:59Speaker 2: Oh, snap. Can I have your attention, please?
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: You thought you'd heard it all?
- 1:00:04Speaker 4: Just when you think you've seen everything.
- 1:00:07Speaker 2: Nah, not even close.
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: Who's spiraling?
- 1:00:09Speaker 2: Who's getting canceled? What's the local buzz?
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: What can we expect? We're diving headfirst into the chaos.
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: It's the Mile High Hype.
- 1:00:17Speaker 2: Yeah, what's up, what's up, what's up?
- 1:00:19Speaker 5: With JKJ on Mix 100.
- 1:00:23Speaker 2: Well, starting October 1st, your lawn is going to be
- 1:00:26Speaker 2: so thirsty. The Denver Water Board is saying that is
- 1:00:31Speaker 2: the cutoff date. They are banning all automatic and manual
- 1:00:35Speaker 2: lawn sprinklers October 1st of 2026. And you can't turn
- 1:00:40Speaker 2: them back on until spring of 2027. No, they're doing it.
- 1:00:43Speaker 2: Because the drought is so darn bad right now. Now,
- 1:00:46Speaker 2: you can still hand water. You can still hand water
- 1:00:49Speaker 2: some of your trees or shrubs or flowers or vegetable
- 1:00:52Speaker 2: gardens and Some parks and sports fields, sports ball fields,
- 1:00:56Speaker 2: they've got some exemptions. But listen, if they catch you
- 1:00:59Speaker 2: watering your lawn, you're going to receive a warning up front.
- 1:01:02Speaker 2: And then second time, $ 250. Third time, $ 500. Fourth time, $ 1, 000.
- 1:01:07Speaker 2: So this is your heads up starting October 1st. No
- 1:01:11Speaker 2: more watering of your lawns. One of Colorado's biggest end-of-summer
- 1:01:15Speaker 2: traditions begins tomorrow in Pueblo and then runs through Labor Day.
- 1:01:21Speaker 3: It is the Colorado State Fair.
- 1:01:24Speaker 2: It's 11 days of carnival rides and livestock competitions. They're
- 1:01:28Speaker 2: going to have all sorts of fair food, hello funnel cakes,
- 1:01:32Speaker 2: and rodeos and concerts and all sorts of fun stuff.
- 1:01:34Speaker 2: So that'll be going on. And then speaking of fairs,
- 1:01:37Speaker 2: the Iowa State Fair has been going on, and they
- 1:01:39Speaker 2: hosted their annual, very popular, Mom Calling Contest, where kids
- 1:01:45Speaker 2: belted out hilarious, spot-on impressions trying to get their mom's attention.
- 1:01:51Speaker 2: I happened to pull a little bit of audio. Moms,
- 1:01:54Speaker 2: you might want to cover your ears. Here you go. Mom,
- 1:01:56Speaker 2: come get married on my ribs! Mom, when's dinner ready?
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: Mom, Mom, Mamacita, don't make me call Grandma.
- 1:02:07Speaker 8: Mom, I cleaned up my room.
- 1:02:11Speaker 7: Mom, come here.
- 1:02:12Speaker 2: My PlayStation's not working and the Fortnite update is in
- 1:02:17Speaker 2: two minutes. Mom, Mom, Tina! Oh my God, I would
- 1:02:25Speaker 2: walk out of that competition. But anyway, it's a blast
- 1:02:27Speaker 2: each and every year at the Iowa State Fair. Kind
- 1:02:30Speaker 2: of fun. Katie, what you got?
- 1:02:31Speaker 5: Okay, well, we've got the beast in a blanket. This
- 1:02:34Speaker 5: is coming to Empower Field at Mile High.
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: So this season.
- 1:02:37Speaker 5: It's a pig in a blanket that is leveled up,
- 1:02:40Speaker 5: so it is massive. A two-foot grilled hot dog with
- 1:02:44Speaker 5: barbecue brisket burnt ends. It's got goat cheese, sharp cheddar,
- 1:02:49Speaker 5: all enveloped in a puff pastry. And then it's got
- 1:02:52Speaker 5: crispy onions, jalapeno slices, and avocado crema on top, along
- 1:02:56Speaker 5: with some Mile High secret sauce. Now, no word on
- 1:03:00Speaker 5: what this delicious monstrosity is going to cost, but the
- 1:03:03Speaker 5: Godzilla at Coors Field, that runs $ 50, and that is
- 1:03:07Speaker 5: very comparable in size and toppings. So they're saying that
- 1:03:11Speaker 5: that's probably what it's going to be, anywhere from $ 50
- 1:03:13Speaker 5: to $ 60. But during Bronco Games this season, you can
- 1:03:16Speaker 5: get yourself a beast in a blanket.
- 1:03:19Speaker 2: You're going to turn into a puff pastry if you
- 1:03:21Speaker 2: eat that.
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: You know what? Well, they expect you to share it.
- 1:03:24Speaker 5: They think that people are going to get it for
- 1:03:26Speaker 5: a whole family because it is that big.
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: Who's doing that? I don't think you're going to eat
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: this whole thing.
- 1:03:30Speaker 2: Really?
- 1:03:30Speaker 4: Look around.
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: I don't think you're going to eat this whole thing.
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: It is massive.
- 1:03:34Speaker 2: It does look awesome, though.
- 1:03:35Speaker 5: Again, you know, you're probably going to spend a little,
- 1:03:37Speaker 5: you know, chunk of change when you go to any
- 1:03:39Speaker 5: games anyway. So if this is, you know, tickling your fancy,
- 1:03:43Speaker 5: there you go.
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: There you go.
- 1:03:44Speaker 2: Tickling your glizzy.
- 1:03:45Speaker 1: Yes, exactly.
- 1:03:46Speaker 5: And then just one more, because tonight, Grizzly Rose Ladies
- 1:03:49Speaker 5: Night in honor of.
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: The late, great Dolly. Dress like Dolly tonight. And ladies...
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: From 8.
- 1:03:55Speaker 5: Until midnight, they're going to have some free drinks for you.
- 1:03:58Speaker 5: So free draft beer and well drinks from 8 until midnight.
- 1:04:01Speaker 5: So go tip it on back for Dolly this evening.
- 1:04:04Speaker 5: We're all still pretty reeling from that. You know, like
- 1:04:06Speaker 5: that was a hard loss for everybody this week. So
- 1:04:09Speaker 5: go celebrate Dolly and everything she was. Grizzly Bros tonight.
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: There you go. There's your Ma Hai Hai.
- 1:04:14Speaker 7: Don't be such a chicken squad.
- 1:04:17Speaker 2: What time are those free drinks at?
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: 8 to midnight for those free drinks for the ladies.
- 1:04:23Speaker 2: 8 to midnight free drinks?
- 1:04:24Speaker 6: Woo!
- 1:04:26Speaker 2: Somebody getting pregnant tonight.
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: She's got the mic, the moxie, and a brain full
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: of Dr. Phil reruns.
- 1:04:33Speaker 4: She's on me like a duck on a dune bug.
- 1:04:35Speaker 6: But can you take down Katie in pop culture smackdown?
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: This is Katie Crush.
- 1:04:42Speaker 2: I'll tell you, it's hard because Katie watches roughly 14
- 1:04:46Speaker 2: hours of Netflix every day. So she's pretty tapped in.
- 1:04:50Speaker 2: Here's Chloe. Hi, Chloe.
- 1:04:52Speaker 11: Hi, how's it going?
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: Whoa!
- 1:04:55Speaker 2: It's really good now that you called. You're all bubbly.
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: Love it.
- 1:04:59Speaker 8: Yeah, oh my gosh, I'm so excited to play.
- 1:05:02Speaker 2: Oh, we're excited to have you. Thank you for listening
- 1:05:04Speaker 2: and calling in. Tell us all about yourself.
- 1:05:07Speaker 11: Okay, so I live in Longmont, and I'm a teacher.
- 1:05:11Speaker 11: So I teach special education students K through high school.
- 1:05:16Speaker 2: Oh, well, you basically won. I'm going to give you
- 1:05:19Speaker 2: the prize. We don't even need to play the game. Amazing.
- 1:05:22Speaker 1: You're a good human.
- 1:05:24Speaker 2: Thank you for doing that.
- 1:05:26Speaker 9: Oh, thank you.
- 1:05:26Speaker 11: I love it.
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: I love Longmont, too, Chloe. That's where my daughter was born.
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: So I've got a.
- 1:05:30Speaker 5: Special place in my heart for Longmont and Long's Peak
- 1:05:33Speaker 5: and that whole area there.
- 1:05:34Speaker 1: Yes, it's beautiful.
- 1:05:36Speaker 9: Oh, yeah.
- 1:05:36Speaker 2: Now you can get into Katie's bank account because one
- 1:05:38Speaker 2: of the questions is, where was your daughter born? You
- 1:05:41Speaker 2: can put Longmont and get.
- 1:05:42Speaker 5: Into her bank.
- 1:05:43Speaker 9: Cool.
- 1:05:44Speaker 5: Awesome.
- 1:05:44Speaker 11: All I need is your maiden name.
- 1:05:46Speaker 3: Exactly.
- 1:05:46Speaker 1: Last four on my social, you know, all that stuff.
- 1:05:49Speaker 2: Chloe, I would imagine that's probably a fairly involved and
- 1:05:53Speaker 2: heavy job from time to time. Do you do anything
- 1:05:56Speaker 2: for fun on the side?
- 1:05:57Speaker 11: Yeah, I actually play pool. I'm in two pool leagues
- 1:06:02Speaker 11: up here in Longmont, and I play Ultimate Frisbee. So
- 1:06:05Speaker 11: I'm in some, like, adult sports league.
- 1:06:08Speaker 2: You're, like, awesome all the way around. Yeah.
- 1:06:11Speaker 11: Thank you.
- 1:06:12Speaker 2: I got a buddy that does competitive pool, and he's
- 1:06:16Speaker 2: always going to Las Vegas and all the pool competitions
- 1:06:19Speaker 2: out there.
- 1:06:20Speaker 4: Yeah, it's intense.
- 1:06:22Speaker 2: Well, Miss Chloe, I'm going to give you and Katie
- 1:06:24Speaker 2: the same five pop culture trivia questions. Best out of
- 1:06:27Speaker 2: five wins. Ties go to Katie because she made up
- 1:06:30Speaker 2: the rules. Anything you want to say, Katie Kat?
- 1:06:33Speaker 9: Oh, yeah.
- 1:06:34Speaker 5: With the teacher background, Chloe, I hope you can teach
- 1:06:36Speaker 5: me a lesson today.
- 1:06:37Speaker 2: Good luck. Get out of here.
- 1:06:41Speaker 4: Get out of here.
- 1:06:43Speaker 9: All right.
- 1:06:43Speaker 2: So Katie leaves the studio, Chloe. She goes into a
- 1:06:46Speaker 2: room where she can't hear anything. And I come up
- 1:06:48Speaker 2: with a question so there's no cheating. And then we'll
- 1:06:51Speaker 2: find out if you're right or wrong once we bring
- 1:06:53Speaker 2: her back in. But let's go ahead and get started.
- 1:06:55Speaker 2: I need you to name one of the two brand-new
- 1:07:01Speaker 2: popcorn buckets for the new Avengers movie coming out.
- 1:07:05Speaker 11: Ooh, I'm going to say the Thanos bucket.
- 1:07:11Speaker 2: All right. Let me put it on here. And your
- 1:07:15Speaker 2: second question. What pop star's fans... Famously trade friendship bracelets
- 1:07:23Speaker 2: at her concerts.
- 1:07:25Speaker 11: Taylor Swift.
- 1:07:26Speaker 1: Tay-Tay.
- 1:07:28Speaker 2: Here's your third question. Costco has not changed the price
- 1:07:33Speaker 2: of this combo for something like 40 years.
- 1:07:37Speaker 11: Oh, it's the Kirkland hot dog and drink.
- 1:07:43Speaker 4: All right.
- 1:07:44Speaker 2: Glizzy's for days. Glizzy's. Glizzy's. Here's your fourth question. What
- 1:07:50Speaker 2: shampoo slash conditioner brand was dubbed a truly organic experience?
- 1:07:59Speaker 11: Oh, I'm going to say.
- 1:08:03Speaker 2: I said organic.
- 1:08:05Speaker 11: Organic. I'm going to say nature's organic shampoo.
- 1:08:13Speaker 2: I'll put you down for nature's natural something. All right,
- 1:08:19Speaker 2: and here's your fifth and final question. Which one of
- 1:08:22Speaker 2: these is the title of an animated superhero film that
- 1:08:27Speaker 2: Disney released back in 2025? All right, check that, 2015. Now,
- 1:08:32Speaker 2: it's multiple choice. Was it Big Hero 12, Big Hero 9,
- 1:08:36Speaker 2: Big Hero 10, Big Hero 6?
- 1:08:39Speaker 11: Big Hero 6.
- 1:08:39Speaker 10: All right, let's bring.
- 1:08:42Speaker 2: Katie Capp back in.
- 1:08:47Speaker 1: Hi, Katie! Hi, Jeremy! Hi, Josh!
- 1:08:51Speaker 2: Hello, Chloe! I'm going to have to have a question
- 1:08:54Speaker 2: on one of these, but we'll go ahead and get started. Okay.
- 1:08:58Speaker 2: Let me write down how many Chloe... I think she got.
- 1:09:01Speaker 2: All right, Katie, here's your first question. Name one of
- 1:09:05Speaker 2: the two new popcorn buckets for the new Avengers movie
- 1:09:09Speaker 2: coming out.
- 1:09:12Speaker 1: Is it an Avenger?
- 1:09:15Speaker 2: I need you to be a Pacific. So I'm going
- 1:09:18Speaker 2: to say no.
- 1:09:20Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't know that one.
- 1:09:22Speaker 2: Here's the thing. The two buckets are an Iron Man
- 1:09:25Speaker 2: head and then the nano gauntlet. It's the glove with
- 1:09:30Speaker 2: all the Infinity Stones, which is what Thanos wore. Do
- 1:09:36Speaker 2: I give it to you?
- 1:09:38Speaker 1: Did Chloe say Thanos?
- 1:09:39Speaker 2: Okay, you taught me.
- 1:09:40Speaker 5: Okay.
- 1:09:45Speaker 3: Just because you're kind of turning me on with all that, yes.
- 1:09:48Speaker 1: That's amazing. I love that.
- 1:09:52Speaker 2: All right, I gave it to you, Chloe.
- 1:09:54Speaker 4: Okay.
- 1:09:56Speaker 2: Are you still there? Are you okay?
- 1:09:57Speaker 9: Yeah, I'm still here.
- 1:09:59Speaker 8: I'm, like, listening on the radio, too, just listening to myself.
- 1:10:02Speaker 5: Oh, okay.
- 1:10:02Speaker 3: You're probably getting, like, a crazy echo, so.
- 1:10:04Speaker 9: All right.
- 1:10:06Speaker 10: That's so funny.
- 1:10:07Speaker 9: Yes!
- 1:10:08Speaker 2: Katie, what pop star's fans famously trade friendship bracelets at
- 1:10:14Speaker 2: her concerts? Tay-Tay. Chloe, you said that too.
- 1:10:19Speaker 1: Yay, Chloe. I love her.
- 1:10:23Speaker 2: Costco has not changed the price of this combo for
- 1:10:28Speaker 2: over 40 years, I believe.
- 1:10:32Speaker 1: Is it the pizza one? The pizza and the drink, right?
- 1:10:35Speaker 8: No.
- 1:10:36Speaker 1: What?
- 1:10:37Speaker 2: Chloe, what did you say?
- 1:10:38Speaker 11: I said the big hot dog and the drink.
- 1:10:42Speaker 9: Oh.
- 1:10:44Speaker 2: Chloe knows hot dogs.
- 1:10:53Speaker 11: I love my glizzies.
- 1:10:55Speaker 2: She loves her glizzies. I want to be friends with you, Chloe.
- 1:11:02Speaker 2: You're fun.
- 1:11:03Speaker 4: I like you a lot. All right, Katie.
- 1:11:04Speaker 11: I'm so glad to this station.
- 1:11:06Speaker 2: All right. Yeah, we'll hang out. Bring some hot dogs.
- 1:11:08Speaker 1: All right.
- 1:11:10Speaker 2: Katie, what shampoo slash conditioner brand was dubbed a truly
- 1:11:16Speaker 2: organic experience?
- 1:11:18Speaker 1: It was Herbal Essence, right?
- 1:11:22Speaker 9: Yes. Yes.
- 1:11:24Speaker 2: They sounded like Chloe with the yes, yes, yes.
- 1:11:29Speaker 3: Chloe said natural, natural, natural something.
- 1:11:32Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 1:11:33Speaker 11: You have herbal essence shampoo, too.
