- 0:00Speaker 1: This is the Ben and Ashley I Almost Famous podcast
- 0:03Speaker 1: with iHeartRadio.
- 0:05Speaker 2: Hello, everyone, welcome to the Almost Famous Podcast. Today we
- 0:09Speaker 2: are joined by Parisa Shifta. You may remember her as
- 0:14Speaker 2: the cat Lady of this season. She also she talked
- 0:18Speaker 2: about going home to her cat. She said it, I didn't.
- 0:21Speaker 2: She also made a PowerPoint presentation showing Grant the life
- 0:24Speaker 2: that they would live together if they were to get engaged.
- 0:29Speaker 3: Hello, and welcome to the pod. Parisa.
- 0:31Speaker 4: Hello, thank you for having me. And don't forget about
- 0:34Speaker 4: my rock collection too.
- 0:35Speaker 3: Oh the rock collection.
- 0:36Speaker 5: That's right, all right, all right, this is great. I'm
- 0:40Speaker 5: glad you said that. Let's start that out with this.
- 0:44Speaker 5: You knew you were going to bring some shock waves
- 0:47Speaker 5: with talking about a cat and your rock collection, right,
- 0:52Speaker 5: like this was going to be like something that people
- 0:54Speaker 5: spoke about afterwards.
- 0:56Speaker 4: I didn't think so much about my cat, Sonny, because
- 0:59Speaker 4: I feel like every year there's always someone who talks
- 1:02Speaker 4: about their pet can.
- 1:03Speaker 2: Yeah exactly, which is why I said, you're this year's catie.
- 1:06Speaker 4: Yeah, this year's But I don't recall there ever being
- 1:10Speaker 4: someone even like a guy. I don't recall anyone ever
- 1:13Speaker 4: having a rock collection or talking about the fact they
- 1:16Speaker 4: have a rock collection.
- 1:17Speaker 5: No, so why did you decide.
- 1:18Speaker 3: To I don't know.
- 1:20Speaker 4: I spoke a lot about because you know, not everything
- 1:25Speaker 4: gets shown, But I spoke a lot about just my
- 1:28Speaker 4: interest in general and rocks. That just happened to be
- 1:33Speaker 4: something that came up a lot because we were talking
- 1:37Speaker 4: about traveling, and like that is something that's huge with me.
- 1:40Speaker 4: When I travel, I love to like look up and
- 1:42Speaker 4: see what types of rocks and minerals crystals are like
- 1:46Speaker 4: really abundant in that country and or even like a state,
- 1:49Speaker 4: and then I that's like my souvenir that I go
- 1:52Speaker 4: and look for and I'll bring back from that country.
- 1:56Speaker 4: So yeah, and I just I think they're just fun
- 1:59Speaker 4: and it's that's different. And yeah, so I just talked about.
- 2:03Speaker 6: That a lot.
- 2:04Speaker 2: What else did you talk about that didn't make air
- 2:06Speaker 2: any any conversation that stood out to you like five
- 2:10Speaker 2: months removed?
- 2:11Speaker 4: Yeah, I guess a lot also about nature, animals and
- 2:16Speaker 4: sex lizards. I told Grant, like during our time, our
- 2:21Speaker 4: downtime at the mansion, there was just so many lizards,
- 2:23Speaker 4: so it would be so fun just like kind of
- 2:25Speaker 4: like walking around the perimeter and just like looking for
- 2:28Speaker 4: just trying to, like, I don't know, catch some lizards.
- 2:31Speaker 4: And there were a couple of girls that were down
- 2:34Speaker 4: to catch lizards with me. It's Chloe and Natalie, So
- 2:36Speaker 4: I knew I could always count on them.
- 2:38Speaker 6: To like go in a nice little walk.
- 2:41Speaker 4: But yeah, we talked about that and he said he
- 2:43Speaker 4: was like, oh, that's cool, Like I used to catch
- 2:45Speaker 4: lizards when I was younger, and so we talked about that.
- 2:49Speaker 5: Okay, so so far we've established that you were open
- 2:53Speaker 5: with Grant about your interests. Yeah, we love your cat, Sonny.
- 2:57Speaker 5: We're big fans of rock collections. I have one. I
- 3:00Speaker 5: actually have a rock tumbler.
- 3:02Speaker 6: Oh does it work?
- 3:04Speaker 5: It still works? Oh yeah, big tumble.
- 3:06Speaker 2: No way, you have a tumbler dedicated to rocks.
- 3:10Speaker 5: Yeah. It makes them real shiny and smooth and you
- 3:12Speaker 5: can see what's on the inside.
- 3:13Speaker 3: It's nice a tumbler.
- 3:15Speaker 2: Oh, it's a water bottles like.
- 3:21Speaker 4: You can put in like the polish and then all
- 3:23Speaker 4: the raw rocks and it just like tumbles them and
- 3:26Speaker 4: it polishes them so it's smooth them out.
- 3:28Speaker 2: Oh okay, So I just want to let you know
- 3:30Speaker 2: what I thought when you said that. I thought that
- 3:32Speaker 2: you had like a tumbler, like a website where you
- 3:35Speaker 2: put all the pictures.
- 3:37Speaker 5: Oh yeah, like after ten years or nine years of
- 3:39Speaker 5: doing this whatever you say, we've done it for you
- 3:41Speaker 5: just are now finding out that I blog about rocks exactly.
- 3:45Speaker 5: That's cool. And then you're into lizards. Okay, this isn't
- 3:51Speaker 5: exactly and I think it's very I think it's awesome.
- 3:55Speaker 5: What I love about the show is all the unique
- 3:56Speaker 5: stories that come out of this. But it's not exactly
- 3:59Speaker 5: how you lead off. Most people would lead off on dating, like,
- 4:03Speaker 5: it's not exactly what you reveal on the first couple
- 4:06Speaker 5: of dates. So what kind of guy are you looking
- 4:09Speaker 5: for now?
- 4:11Speaker 6: Uh?
- 4:11Speaker 5: Like, would he have to have these similar interests? Do
- 4:13Speaker 5: you want to teach him about these things? Are you
- 4:15Speaker 5: hoping to teach Grant about these things and hoping he
- 4:18Speaker 5: would at least find an interest enough to chase lizards
- 4:21Speaker 5: around the yard with you?
- 4:23Speaker 4: Yeah, you know, it's more like the guy that I'm
- 4:25Speaker 4: looking for, he obviously doesn't need a rock collection or
- 4:29Speaker 4: you know, any of that. It's more of just someone
- 4:31Speaker 4: who's down for new experiences and down for adventure, because
- 4:38Speaker 4: that's how I am too, you know, anytime again, like
- 4:41Speaker 4: planning trips. I just love to be spontaneous and I
- 4:45Speaker 4: love new experiences. It's sometimes it's fun to not plan,
- 4:49Speaker 4: you know, your full day when you're on vacation because
- 4:53Speaker 4: you just kind of see what you want to see
- 4:54Speaker 4: where you know, life takes you, you know, in a
- 4:56Speaker 4: new environment. So just someone who's just down for new
- 4:58Speaker 4: experiences and who can easily adapt.
- 5:03Speaker 2: Yeah, did you truly think that he was it like
- 5:06Speaker 2: he could have done that with you?
- 5:09Speaker 4: He Actually, he seems pretty adventurous and he's he's just very.
- 5:14Speaker 6: Open to new things.
- 5:16Speaker 4: Then he like when we would have conversations about traveling,
- 5:21Speaker 4: like we talked about going on a safari that's high
- 5:25Speaker 4: on his list right now with travel and I was like, oh, wow,
- 5:28Speaker 4: like that's incredible because I mean that's like not the
- 5:31Speaker 4: most fabulous vacation going, you know, to a safari with
- 5:35Speaker 4: all these bugs and dangerous animals that you know could
- 5:38Speaker 4: attack you at any second.
- 5:41Speaker 6: So yeah, I mean he really does seem like that type.
- 5:46Speaker 5: Well I appreciate about you is your interest in things
- 5:49Speaker 5: that not everybody else is interested in. I think that
- 5:52Speaker 5: is I could ask you a thousand questions about how
- 5:55Speaker 5: you got into it and why you do it. But
- 5:57Speaker 5: I think it's very very cool, and I think it's
- 6:00Speaker 5: something that somebody someday is going to say, Hey, let
- 6:04Speaker 5: me join in on this. It's a great quality, is
- 6:08Speaker 5: my point here. Speaking of great qualities, though, we do
- 6:12Speaker 5: have to dig into Grant a little bit, and so
- 6:15Speaker 5: here it's almost famous podcast. We love the franchise. We
- 6:19Speaker 5: feel like we haven't gotten to know Grant at all
- 6:23Speaker 5: watching this season. We feel like there's something missing, that
- 6:28Speaker 5: his whole story isn't either being told or he's not
- 6:31Speaker 5: communicating it effectively. So we're hoping you can fill some
- 6:36Speaker 5: gaps for us from your experience with Grant and the
- 6:40Speaker 5: time that you were there and the conversations that you had.
- 6:44Speaker 5: What do you know about Grant that maybe the audience
- 6:47Speaker 5: isn't seeing good and bad? Just help us make sense
- 6:50Speaker 5: of him as a human.
- 6:52Speaker 4: Yes, good question, And you think, because I want to
- 6:57Speaker 4: give you a really good.
- 6:58Speaker 5: Answer comes to mind, Like your first thoughts when you
- 7:02Speaker 5: think of Grant ellis you're with him, You're on a season.
- 7:05Speaker 5: And here's here's my first response to your hesitation. It's concerned.
- 7:12Speaker 5: It's well, you should know this, like you just got
- 7:14Speaker 5: off of a show with him where he was the
- 7:16Speaker 5: lead of your season, you should be able to be like, hey,
- 7:19Speaker 5: this is what I know about Grant. Instead, you had
- 7:21Speaker 5: a little hesitancy. So I want to know if that's
- 7:24Speaker 5: coming from your like you having a hard time answering
- 7:26Speaker 5: it where you're like, I don't really know how to
- 7:27Speaker 5: answer that, or are you just wanting to phrase it perfectly?
- 7:31Speaker 4: Yeah, I want to phrase it perfectly. It seems like
- 7:34Speaker 4: he genuinely was looking for you know. Yes, he kept
- 7:40Speaker 4: saying a wife, but that was more defined as like
- 7:44Speaker 4: a best friend, you know, you know, and he would
- 7:46Speaker 4: ask all the girls about all about themselves, like what
- 7:51Speaker 4: do you like to do? You know, where do you
- 7:53Speaker 4: want to travel? Just to find those common similarities as
- 7:56Speaker 4: well as, you know, learning more about them and their
- 7:58Speaker 4: background and where they come from. But I feel like
- 8:01Speaker 4: he wanted to find someone that he really connected with,
- 8:04Speaker 4: had both that emotional connection, physical connection, just his best
- 8:12Speaker 4: friend that he can you know, do life with and such.
- 8:16Speaker 4: I feel like a lot of the conversations were always
- 8:18Speaker 4: around that of like where can we be in the
- 8:22Speaker 4: future together?
- 8:23Speaker 6: Like how do how do you see the future with me?
- 8:26Speaker 6: How do I see the future with you? So kind
- 8:28Speaker 6: of I feel like that's what he was looking for.
- 8:34Speaker 5: Okay, that's great, that's on this show. But do you
- 8:38Speaker 5: feel like you got to know him through this problems?
- 8:41Speaker 6: Oh no, and he didn't really get to know me.
- 8:44Speaker 2: Okay, Yeah, we're down to Latia and Juliana. Now, did
- 9:00Speaker 2: there those girls stand out to you as being the
- 9:03Speaker 2: front runner that he was? He always looking at them
- 9:07Speaker 2: when you guys were in a group setting.
- 9:09Speaker 4: Yeah, I'm not surprised that it's both of them, you know.
- 9:14Speaker 6: I it's obvious.
- 9:15Speaker 4: We see like every episode Lati is always called first,
- 9:18Speaker 4: you know, in the rose ceremonies, and.
- 9:21Speaker 6: With Juliana as well. You know, it's funny.
- 9:24Speaker 4: I would always tell the girls anytime, like I would
- 9:27Speaker 4: kind of sneak up around the corners sometimes and like
- 9:29Speaker 4: just like kind of watch if like a girl whoever
- 9:33Speaker 4: is with Grant, because I just love to just watch.
- 9:35Speaker 4: I love to watch how the girl's looking at him
- 9:38Speaker 4: and how Grant's looking at the girl, and I just
- 9:42Speaker 4: I don't know then I like kind of you know,
- 9:43Speaker 4: like you just piece things together.
- 9:45Speaker 6: So that was something I would do. And I remember.
- 9:51Speaker 4: In Madrid, I like sneaked up on Juliana and Grant
- 9:55Speaker 4: and then I told Juliana. I was like, oh, like
- 9:57Speaker 4: that looked really good. And I just I don't know.
- 10:01Speaker 4: I see things and you can just I don't know.
- 10:04Speaker 4: I'm not I guess I can just say I'm not
- 10:06Speaker 4: surprised with the final two.
- 10:08Speaker 5: It's always fun to have an upfront seat at during
- 10:11Speaker 5: the show. Jared Ashley's husband and myself used to watch
- 10:15Speaker 5: often and be like, this is crazy. Nobody's gonna believe
- 10:19Speaker 5: this is happening, and we're sitting here watching it. Yeah,
- 10:22Speaker 5: it is fun. So now that you watch during the
- 10:26Speaker 5: season and now you're watching it back, what has kind
- 10:29Speaker 5: of been your response as you see it on TV,
- 10:33Speaker 5: especially the weeks you aren't there, Is there anything shocking
- 10:36Speaker 5: to you?
- 10:38Speaker 4: Yeah, because even during my time there and then watching
- 10:41Speaker 4: those episodes, we never none of us knew what was
- 10:46Speaker 4: going on behind closed doors when you were having the
- 10:48Speaker 4: private one on one conversation with Grant, So that was
- 10:50Speaker 4: always always interesting to watch. It'd be like, oh, like,
- 10:54Speaker 4: that's what they were talking about, or that's what that was.
- 10:56Speaker 4: And yeah, now too with not being on any Yeah,
- 11:04Speaker 4: I I a lot of it.
- 11:06Speaker 6: It's I guess it's it's.
- 11:08Speaker 4: Interesting to see now, like their relationships, how far they
- 11:12Speaker 4: have come since my time there.
- 11:16Speaker 2: Now, you guys don't have a bachelorette? Do you were
- 11:20Speaker 2: when you found out that news that there was no bachelorette?
- 11:23Speaker 2: Was there like an explosion in the group chat where
- 11:26Speaker 2: you guys were like, uh so sucks for us.
- 11:30Speaker 4: Yeah, we were shocked, and I guess everyone was more
- 11:37Speaker 4: like concerned, like why why isn't there going to be
- 11:39Speaker 4: a bachelorette? But yeah, that that was news.
- 11:46Speaker 5: It's interesting you're bummed, Like everybody's pretty upset.
- 11:50Speaker 4: I wouldn't say upset, maybe a little bummed.
- 11:55Speaker 5: Yeah, it's kind of it's I mean, I had a
- 12:00Speaker 5: different scenario, I guess, but I think I would have
- 12:04Speaker 5: enjoyed seeing somebody from my season like become the Bachelor
- 12:08Speaker 5: if it wasn't me, Like it's fun to watch that
- 12:11Speaker 5: play out, like, oh, I know that person and I'm
- 12:14Speaker 5: rooting for that person, and yeah, it's kind of that
- 12:16Speaker 5: way with me in Paradise. I've always enjoyed watching people
- 12:19Speaker 5: I know go on Paradise and seeing their stories play out,
- 12:23Speaker 5: which brings us to Paradise because Paradise is still existing
- 12:26Speaker 5: as far as we know at this point, would you
- 12:29Speaker 5: go on Paradise. Does that feel like someplace that you
- 12:32Speaker 5: could find somebody? Have they called you?
- 12:35Speaker 4: If the opportunity comes up, Yes, it would be really nice.
- 12:40Speaker 4: I feel like there is a higher success rate with
- 12:44Speaker 4: couples coming from Paradise. And I mean, as you guys,
- 12:50Speaker 4: but now, and I mean that's very that's inspiring, and
- 12:55Speaker 4: I definitely am I am looking. I mean, I was
- 13:02Speaker 4: trying to find the best way to word it. I'm
- 13:03Speaker 4: not getting any younger, and I have been looking for
- 13:08Speaker 4: a while for like my best friend and you know,
- 13:12Speaker 4: someone that I can stay young with. And so if
- 13:15Speaker 4: that opportunity comes up, I feel like that would be
- 13:18Speaker 4: like I think it would. I would be very appreciative
- 13:22Speaker 4: of it, and it would be a blessing because like
- 13:24Speaker 4: looking at the setup of Paradise, I like the fact
- 13:30Speaker 4: that you are taken away from like your everyday life,
- 13:35Speaker 4: no distractions, and you're just thrown on this island, you know,
- 13:40Speaker 4: girls and guys, and then it's just like okay, let's
- 13:42Speaker 4: just see what happens. And it's nice not having like
- 13:44Speaker 4: social media as a distraction work just like the every day,
- 13:49Speaker 4: every day the troubles, there's nothing coming in and distracting
- 13:53Speaker 4: it's just you and that other person and the time
- 13:56Speaker 4: to develop a connection, And I mean, you don't really
- 14:01Speaker 4: get that here.
- 14:03Speaker 6: I mean that's not really interesting.
- 14:05Speaker 2: Have you been a fan of the show. Do you
- 14:06Speaker 2: have any guys that you would like to put on
- 14:08Speaker 2: your list for the producers to bring on down to
- 14:11Speaker 2: Paradise for you?
- 14:12Speaker 4: Yeah, I was thinking about it, but then I feel like, too,
- 14:15Speaker 4: I have a thing like, I don't know, I feel
- 14:17Speaker 4: like just looking back with dating, I can I can
- 14:22Speaker 4: tell you like five different times I've gone to my
- 14:24Speaker 4: girlfriend's and I was like, Oh, I think.
- 14:26Speaker 6: This guy's cute, or oh I kind of want to
- 14:28Speaker 6: pursue this guy, and.
- 14:29Speaker 4: Once I speak it out into the universe, I just
- 14:32Speaker 4: jinx myself or something happens and it's just like, oh, okay.
- 14:36Speaker 3: So you don't want to say names? Yeah, no, come on,
- 14:40Speaker 3: give us a name.
- 14:41Speaker 5: Just one name. This is a good place to do it,
- 14:43Speaker 5: because we just had Mercedes came on and just threw
- 14:47Speaker 5: it out there and he hit her up afterwards.
- 14:51Speaker 6: Like that's so scary to think about.
- 14:54Speaker 5: No, you're going on a dating show. This is the
- 14:57Speaker 5: easiest part. They're not even here. So one name of
- 15:01Speaker 5: somebody from the franchise that sit out to. He doesn't
- 15:04Speaker 5: mean you gotta it's got to be the guy, but
- 15:07Speaker 5: it does mean that you'd say you're looking pretty good
- 15:10Speaker 5: on the beach.
- 15:11Speaker 4: Yeah, okay, that I will say a name. But I
- 15:14Speaker 4: also want to throw out there that I really don't
- 15:17Speaker 4: know much about this guy, his personality, you know, his
- 15:22Speaker 4: dating history. So all I know is what I've just
- 15:25Speaker 4: seen on Instagram.
- 15:27Speaker 2: Yeah, let me guess it's Greg Oh no, oh yeah,
- 15:33Speaker 2: who Blake Blake minds okay.
- 15:38Speaker 4: Yeah, just very adventurous and you know, love to travel.
- 15:43Speaker 6: I feel like we would get along very well. But again,
- 15:46Speaker 6: I don't know, you know, his personality.
- 15:48Speaker 5: And it would be wild if he came back. Now
- 15:51Speaker 5: I'm not saying it won't happen. It very easily could happen.
- 15:54Speaker 5: He would be competing with Chrisky Bukowski as the most
- 15:57Speaker 5: appearances on any season ever.
- 16:00Speaker 3: He would he would?
- 16:02Speaker 5: I mean he has a longevience.
- 16:04Speaker 2: No, no, you would have three, so he'd be tied
- 16:08Speaker 2: with Nick and me.
- 16:10Speaker 5: He's only done Paradise once.
- 16:11Speaker 4: Actually yeah, oh, he was only a Paradise ones.
- 16:15Speaker 5: Okay, okay, So as we kind of wrap up, you're
- 16:28Speaker 5: interested in Paradise. Let's make sure everybody hears that. Who's listening.
- 16:33Speaker 5: The producers of the show are going to be listening.
- 16:36Speaker 5: You're interested in Paradise, you'd be open to relationship in Paradise,
- 16:40Speaker 5: and you're willing to throw names out there of people
- 16:42Speaker 5: you would want to see in Paradise. That's a great start.
- 16:44Speaker 5: You're doing great. That's awesome. As we close up, I
- 16:48Speaker 5: want to go back then to Grant season. Okay, viewers
- 16:53Speaker 5: I think have had a mixed relationship with this season.
- 16:58Speaker 5: I think it's gone where viewers have really wanted to
- 17:02Speaker 5: root for the season and then kind of they've they've
- 17:05Speaker 5: been lost, and now they're kind of going to come back,
- 17:07Speaker 5: I believe for the final episode. It's always a big episode.
- 17:11Speaker 5: If you were to give a sales pitch on why
- 17:14Speaker 5: viewers should tune in, knowing Grant and knowing the two
- 17:17Speaker 5: women left, what would be your sales pitch to them, like,
- 17:19Speaker 5: how do we get viewers to tune into this episode?
- 17:22Speaker 5: Why should they and why should they be rooting for
- 17:25Speaker 5: Grant and whoever he picks at the end.
- 17:27Speaker 6: Not a great question, or.
- 17:29Speaker 5: Your answer could be I don't think they should and
- 17:31Speaker 5: that's fine too.
- 17:33Speaker 4: Oh no, no, I like this stuff. But see I
- 17:36Speaker 4: don't have a background in sale, so like that thought
- 17:39Speaker 4: processing skill is very slow.
- 17:41Speaker 6: Okay when you think about.
- 17:43Speaker 2: It, well, I will have another question that could be
- 17:47Speaker 2: perhaps you don't need the sales degree for I'm thinking
- 17:52Speaker 2: that I would love to know your opinion on if
- 17:56Speaker 2: Grant should have picked someone. If in the end and
- 18:00Speaker 2: he was as torn as he is to the point
- 18:02Speaker 2: in which there are rumors that he might flip a
- 18:05Speaker 2: coin to decide.
- 18:06Speaker 6: I know, so I guess with that.
- 18:10Speaker 4: I like to be very specific with words and like
- 18:12Speaker 4: emotions and everything, so like feeling torn, I feel like
- 18:16Speaker 4: that word it can mean so many different things, Like
- 18:19Speaker 4: I feel like immediately when someone hears the word torn
- 18:22Speaker 4: in the situation, they're like, he just doesn't know who
- 18:25Speaker 4: he wants to pick.
- 18:26Speaker 6: It's like fifty to fifty.
- 18:27Speaker 4: But I feel like it could mean so many other things,
- 18:30Speaker 4: Like it could mean I don't know. It can mean
- 18:33Speaker 4: that he's he's scared, or it's.
- 18:37Speaker 6: Not I don't know. I don't know what I'm trying
- 18:39Speaker 6: to say.
- 18:40Speaker 5: But I feel like we mean it in the sense
- 18:42Speaker 5: of conflicted. I cannot decide between the two people in
- 18:47Speaker 5: love with both emotionally just torn, Yeah, because how do
- 18:54Speaker 5: you say goodbye to somebody that you love to say
- 18:57Speaker 5: hello to somebody else?
- 19:00Speaker 4: And I think looking back to it other seasons, I
- 19:04Speaker 4: mean it's with whoever is the bachelor, you do spend
- 19:10Speaker 4: so much time, like you know, with like the final two,
- 19:14Speaker 4: where of course it's I think it's easy to develop
- 19:17Speaker 4: such strong feelings for both of them, and now it's
- 19:20Speaker 4: getting hard. You know, you're coming down to the decision
- 19:24Speaker 4: of okay, like yes, I you know, could potentially see
- 19:27Speaker 4: myself with both of them, but now I need to
- 19:29Speaker 4: think like long term, you know, taking this relationship that
- 19:34Speaker 4: was that developed in a fixed environment. It's you get
- 19:38Speaker 4: torn to think, Okay, now I'm going to take it
- 19:39Speaker 4: out into the real world, like will this love in
- 19:44Speaker 4: the real world?
- 19:45Speaker 6: Will it make it? Like we'll make it, you know,
- 19:47Speaker 6: with our busy lifestyles.
- 19:49Speaker 4: And so I feel like it's just the back and
- 19:51Speaker 4: forth of like thinking, going through those thoughts. And it's
- 19:57Speaker 4: scary too, because what if sometimes I don't know, but
- 20:00Speaker 4: like has a bachelor have they ever thought like, Okay,
- 20:03Speaker 4: this is the girl that I want, But what if
- 20:05Speaker 4: she says no?
- 20:05Speaker 6: It's like it's that fear too. I feel like, yeah, it.
- 20:09Speaker 5: Goes through all all all of the leads thoughts at
- 20:12Speaker 5: some point. I don't think there's one lead that's like, yeah,
- 20:14Speaker 5: she's gonna say this, look at me. Well, I actually
- 20:16Speaker 5: I can't say that. There's probably been something that's like,
- 20:18Speaker 5: I I've got this thing shirt up.
- 20:22Speaker 6: Yeah, I don't know.
- 20:22Speaker 4: At the end of the day, it is, it's just
- 20:24Speaker 4: so tricky and like it's so hard to get into
- 20:26Speaker 4: someone's mind and really know everything and how they're feeling,
- 20:31Speaker 4: and all that you can do is just you know,
- 20:34Speaker 4: hope for the best for them, and hope that they
- 20:36Speaker 4: are you know, really happy, and you know.
- 20:39Speaker 6: And just you know, wish them the best.
- 20:43Speaker 5: Okay, Well, I got one final question for you. Okay,
- 20:47Speaker 5: you mentioned past seasons. So my assumption is that you've
- 20:50Speaker 5: been a fan of the show or you've watched past
- 20:52Speaker 5: seasons at some level. You've now a part of the
- 20:58Speaker 5: Bachelor alum. It's on your resume. It is a degree
- 21:02Speaker 5: you have. So are you happy you did it? Did
- 21:06Speaker 5: it live up to all of your expectations and thoughts
- 21:09Speaker 5: outside of finding love? Was it everything you hoped it
- 21:14Speaker 5: would be?
- 21:15Speaker 6: Yeah, it actually was.
- 21:17Speaker 4: It was a really great experience for me. It helped
- 21:22Speaker 4: me just become more comfortable with who I am. I
- 21:27Speaker 4: remember coming back home after filming and you know, like
- 21:30Speaker 4: you're back on your phone, back on social media, and
- 21:33Speaker 4: I remember going on my Instagram and I was like, wow,
- 21:37Speaker 4: this feels different my page because all the pictures posted
- 21:41Speaker 4: on my page there are pictures that I want to
- 21:44Speaker 4: post to show everyone of like who I am, and
- 21:47Speaker 4: like it was never the real me because I always
- 21:50Speaker 4: felt like before The Bachelor, I never actually told anyone
- 21:52Speaker 4: about my rock collection that I have an interest in nature, animals,
- 21:58Speaker 4: and sex all that. Like, no one, only my best
- 22:01Speaker 4: friends and my family knew that about me. And so
- 22:04Speaker 4: when I came back, I'm like, oh, I don't really
- 22:06Speaker 4: like that, Like I don't like how I you know,
- 22:09Speaker 4: wasn't showing who I was previously. Because my whole time
- 22:13Speaker 4: on the show and you know, with the girls, I
- 22:15Speaker 4: was so accepted and everyone was so nice and asking
- 22:19Speaker 4: me questions about my travels or just my experiences, asking
- 22:23Speaker 4: me about my rock collection all that stuff, and like
- 22:27Speaker 4: even you know, when I'm walking around like the MANSI
- 22:29Speaker 4: if I pick up a spider, any bugs, anything, I
- 22:31Speaker 4: would tell them like oh, here's.
- 22:33Speaker 6: The fun fact.
- 22:34Speaker 4: And there was even a snake that like came out
- 22:38Speaker 4: by the pool and I was inside and everyone's screaming
- 22:40Speaker 4: for me to come out. I'm like, oh my god,
- 22:41Speaker 4: I'm like, don't touch it, I'm coming, and I ran
- 22:43Speaker 4: out and I wanted to pick it up, but then
- 22:45Speaker 4: I wasn't allowed to.
- 22:47Speaker 6: But it was just like things like that.
- 22:48Speaker 4: I'm like, it's just so nice, like feeling accepted, and
- 22:52Speaker 4: then it made me just so coomfortable. I'm like, you
- 22:54Speaker 4: know what, there's no point for me to like hide
- 22:56Speaker 4: these things and you know, not speak up about like
- 22:58Speaker 4: who I am in my intro. So I I think
- 23:02Speaker 4: like this experience really brought all that out of me.
- 23:05Speaker 4: And now I'm like more confident to be like, yeah,
- 23:07Speaker 4: I have rock collection, so what you.
- 23:09Speaker 5: Know, lean into it. I'm telling you, it's one of
- 23:12Speaker 5: the greatest things that happens from being on this show
- 23:16Speaker 5: is the revelation of what you've been hiding for so long,
- 23:20Speaker 5: and what you've been maybe ashamed of or not talking about,
- 23:23Speaker 5: or maybe not even knowing how to put words to it.
- 23:27Speaker 5: Lean in to this new level of confidence. I wasn't
- 23:31Speaker 5: kidding when I said I think it's very interesting. I
- 23:33Speaker 5: think it makes you you.
- 23:35Speaker 2: It is.
- 23:36Speaker 5: It is unique. It's unique, which is exactly what people
- 23:41Speaker 5: are attracted to, is uniqueness. And so lean into it
- 23:46Speaker 5: and have fun with this kind of new season of life.
- 23:49Speaker 5: I hope it brings you a ton of joy. I
- 23:52Speaker 5: hope we see you on the beach.
- 23:54Speaker 3: You're perfect for it.
- 23:55Speaker 2: I can see picking up all the reptiles and all
- 23:58Speaker 2: the crabs.
- 24:00Speaker 5: Everything Ashley complained about. You're gonna be like it.
- 24:04Speaker 3: It's gonna be like crabs in my bed. Heck, yeah,
- 24:08Speaker 3: I will.
- 24:08Speaker 4: I will help anyone who's scared. I will pick them up,
- 24:10Speaker 4: you know, gracefully and let them back, let.
